[00:12:30] Welcome to the bounty, a new, bold counter strike format where every round raises the
[00:12:42] stakes.
[00:12:43] Here's how it works.
[00:12:45] The prize pool is a justice at the end.
[00:12:48] It's distributed as bounties.
[00:12:50] Each team starts with a bounty based on their seed.
[00:12:53] Lower seeds can give you a zero, but can still strike it big by hunting bounties from higher
[00:12:57] ranked teams.
[00:12:58] In a match, and you secure 50% of your opponent's bounty as a guaranteed payout, the other 50%
[00:13:04] it carries forward, growing the stakes for the next round.
[00:13:09] After each round, the lower-seeded teams pick their opponents from the higher-seeded pool.
[00:13:14] This happens during the live draft shows, taking place before the tournament first begins
[00:13:19] and after each round of play.
[00:13:21] Bounty hunters can choose from the most wanted teams, deciding if they want to choose their
[00:13:25] opponent based on strategy, past history or simply going for the biggest prize available.
[00:13:32] This is Counter Strike like never before.
[00:13:34] Are you ready to go bounty hunting?
[00:14:55] because I've never had you on my desk yet.
[00:14:57] I'm feeling great. I was watching, I was hearing tales of the late desk cat and Maui.
[00:15:03] I was hearing very good things.
[00:15:05] That was going to be my follow up, but hopefully it was good and you're excited for it then.
[00:15:08] Are you going to miss James though? Aren't you going to miss him?
[00:15:10] I will never miss that man.
[00:15:12] Why?
[00:15:13] Just kidding, I love that.
[00:15:17] What about yourself Maui? It's nice to get to see you again.
[00:15:19] Obviously it's great to be here in Malta, to be obviously seeing you both in the flesh
[00:15:24] and also getting to see the teams play in person.
[00:15:26] I think everybody knows that land CS is really where men are made.
[00:15:30] Yeah, it's another level.
[00:15:32] It's taken up a whole different notch there,
[00:15:34] but we want to have a look back at exactly all the fun
[00:15:36] that Blast Bounty has given us.
[00:15:37] And it's because of this format, right?
[00:15:39] We've had 28 VRS invited teams,
[00:15:42] along with four wildcard teams
[00:15:44] that definitely threw some spanner in the works.
[00:15:46] A week one was all online.
[00:15:47] That's where we went from 32 teams,
[00:15:49] playing in a round one, a round two,
[00:15:51] where we got our top eight,
[00:15:52] be cream of the crop, someone say,
[00:15:54] but only be best of the best.
[00:15:56] These are the eight best teams in the world.
[00:15:59] Nat, Maui, I think you can agree,
[00:16:01] these are the top eight teams.
[00:16:03] I mean, I think we could look at the teams
[00:16:06] and maybe beg to differ.
[00:16:08] Maybe agree to disagree
[00:16:09] that we've got all the best teams here.
[00:16:11] What do you say,
[00:16:12] vitality would be in your best eight, Maui?
[00:16:14] I'd say it's very likely, yes,
[00:16:16] I don't think that's really a hot take.
[00:16:17] We might get to those later.
[00:16:18] I'm not sure if I can disagree with you.
[00:16:21] I mean, it's not like you're
[00:16:23] definitely in the top. It's
[00:16:25] wacky, though. It's actually
[00:16:26] wacky. How many underdogs made
[00:16:28] it through? Yeah, it was fun
[00:16:30] because the whole point of
[00:16:32] last bounty having you know the
[00:16:33] highest seed having so much
[00:16:35] money to their name is they
[00:16:36] wouldn't necessarily be losing
[00:16:37] it right now. They should be
[00:16:38] putting it in their back
[00:16:39] pockets, but instead we did
[00:16:40] see some of those big dogs
[00:16:41] give away quite a large amount
[00:16:42] of bonus cash for some of the
[00:16:44] teams that did make it to top
[00:16:45] eight, which I feel like is the
[00:16:47] point of the bounty at the end
[00:16:48] of the day. Okay? I can, you
[00:16:50] all those favorites that did make it.
[00:16:51] They all had great seasons.
[00:16:52] That's why they are favorites,
[00:16:54] but the bounty is one of the few events in the system,
[00:16:58] in the ecosystem that allows teams
[00:17:00] that are outside really the top 24
[00:17:02] to even have a puncher's chance
[00:17:04] to face some of those upper echelon teams.
[00:17:06] So I'm glad that they actually were able
[00:17:07] to relish that opportunity
[00:17:09] because remind their last bounty or was it two ago,
[00:17:12] the first round had zero upsets.
[00:17:14] So this is actually a huge aberration.
[00:17:16] Yeah, I mean, whatever you're gonna say
[00:17:17] about online counter strike,
[00:17:18] I think you're a little surprised to see this many upsets happening.
[00:17:22] But it is the first event of the season.
[00:17:23] I think you're expecting some upsets.
[00:17:25] This is not the most crazy thing of all time.
[00:17:27] It's the exact way the upsets happen to see six or eight upsets.
[00:17:31] It's whatever to see liquid beat vitality.
[00:17:33] Hundred things beats Falcons.
[00:17:34] That's why it's crazy.
[00:17:35] Yeah.
[00:17:35] The perfect storm was created and we all got to enjoy it.
[00:17:38] But maybe you guys at home didn't catch all of the action, but that's OK.
[00:17:42] Because we have a recap video for you having a look at what was around one and
[00:17:45] two of our draft shows.
[00:17:46] I'm gonna get you straight into it. Can you give us who 3d max is picking you get the lucky position to take whoever you want from this
[00:17:54] We're gonna be picking magic of face. I'm already we know the players. We know how they approach the game
[00:17:59] They're higher enough your shrinking therefore more points to gain. What do you guys would like to see?
[00:18:06] If you got Brazilian players, I feel like you you want to take on a furia whenever you can just just just to see what you're made of
[00:18:12] Okay, I'll make it for you. So let's pick Firde.
[00:18:22] It was already chosen. I mean, it was super hard.
[00:18:26] Any of them would be super hard, but then it's the Brazilian guy.
[00:18:31] I think it makes it more interesting. They're awesome.
[00:18:35] So let's try to face the Giants.
[00:18:39] We're going to pick Vitality. We really want to test our new team against the best opposition
[00:18:47] and we think Vitality is a great opponent to do that.
[00:18:51] Who are you picking, please, there?
[00:18:52] We worked with the logic that there was a team that won the Major, that if we win against
[00:19:00] them then we basically also win one of the Major, so I think we will pick Falcons.
[00:19:07] Who exactly are you guys picking?
[00:19:09] We are going to pick Paine with them two seasons ago as well, so we kind of want revenge for that game.
[00:19:16] Which team are you picking from the most wanted for round number two?
[00:19:19] So we are picking the Mongols.
[00:19:21] Yeah, I think we have a chance to play against Mongols.
[00:19:23] They have two new players and they have a pretty close game.
[00:19:27] That's also Bijel Bucharest.
[00:19:28] Which team 3D Max would like for round number two?
[00:19:31] We decide to pick FUT.
[00:19:33] In the past, we beat them twice.
[00:19:36] I think it's a good veto for us.
[00:19:38] And we like to play them which team from the most wanted you guys gonna be picking for on two
[00:19:44] We pick Astralis we know how they're playing and they're not in good shape
[00:19:49] I would say because new coach they trying some stuff in the game
[00:19:54] So I would say it's kind of comfortable for us
[00:19:58] So that's yeah, who exactly are the four remaining teams left is focus gonna be going up against
[00:20:02] Yes, so I really enjoyed my time in the France game with my ex Ash, so I think we will be
[00:20:09] picking or I know we will be picking a mouse with PR as my new opponent.
[00:20:16] Game leading is checked off, not by me, but Ash is checked off now by me and now I need
[00:20:23] to go for PR the last guy standing.
[00:20:25] Kofalo, who exactly is Dendeley going to be picking?
[00:20:28] We're going to pick FaZe.
[00:20:29] We had a small talk and we preferred to play against them, it's just like that.
[00:20:34] Who is it that you guys are going to be playing in round 2?
[00:20:36] Yeah, we are going to go with G2.
[00:20:38] I think it's going to be an exciting game, it's obviously an established team, G2 is.
[00:20:42] They also made a change in the off-season, so I'm excited, I think it's going to be a good game.
[00:20:49] It was a lot of fun, some of the gambles that the teams took there really did pay off for themselves for others, not so much.
[00:20:57] We're looking all the way back at round number one where we did get to see six of our bounty hunters take home that bounty
[00:21:04] It was massive for them. Yeah, incredibly surprising to see the results the way they were as I mentioned hundred thieves beating falcons
[00:21:10] I mean by transitive property Maui that makes them the major champions, of course then delay fury on maybe a
[00:21:17] Regional matchup a little bit less surprising, but then liquid vitality. I mean, that's insane
[00:21:21] That's why I keep up the transitive property even moving forward that now spirit of the major champions for beating hundred thieves
[00:21:27] I'd say something that's kind of a fun additional fact regarding the early round here though
[00:21:32] Is that yes?
[00:21:33] There were six bounty hunters, but that was seeded more or less based off of VRS from from months ago
[00:21:38] Yeah, if people care about something that's a little bit more present. There were actually eight upsets by just today's HLTV ranking
[00:21:45] That's just the most we've ever seen in about any which of the other two teams that were classified then as the upsets
[00:21:50] I think it was wild card taking down alliance there and the other one might have been that's a great question
[00:21:57] That's right
[00:21:58] I'll let you think about it now because I know it's deep in that knowledge of brain of yours
[00:22:03] I kind of did it because I honestly you normally do actually have the answers
[00:22:07] So I do feel a little bit guilty
[00:22:08] But instead we have a look at that recap right the one that you just mentioned that falcons being beaten by a hundred thieves
[00:22:15] And you're kind of rightly so they really put them to the test and they looked amazing during what was their best of three
[00:22:20] I think Gizmy is one for the present.
[00:22:23] One Gizmy is insane.
[00:22:25] And when you look at that, I think the Falcons 100 Thieves
[00:22:28] might be one of the less surprising ones of the three
[00:22:30] we're going to really focus in on,
[00:22:31] because Falcons win the major.
[00:22:33] Nico has completed CS, people might say.
[00:22:36] I think you have oftentimes that team comes into the next season
[00:22:39] and they're a little bit flat on their feet.
[00:22:41] They are not playing at their best level.
[00:22:43] I think if they were firing on all cylinders,
[00:22:45] that one looks a little different.
[00:22:47] Have to agree.
[00:22:48] also think that it's tougher to play against a Gizmi led team as other teams, other IGLs,
[00:22:54] have talked about already. I think Magix actually gave him props in the post-game interview
[00:22:58] when they faced off against them. And even though 100 Thieves aren't finding the most
[00:23:02] success across all the qualifiers, that was a huge scalp that now they can be already proud of
[00:23:06] and see that there is proof of concept coming into the season. It's a shame that it wasn't
[00:23:11] enough to put them in a position to have a better round two to even potentially see them here in
[00:23:15] in Malta for the team that took down Vitality.
[00:23:18] Well, we are getting to see them on land.
[00:23:20] You're going to be seeing them soon when they do come out
[00:23:21] to pick that draft.
[00:23:23] It's liquid.
[00:23:24] And it wasn't just, oh, they bested them in at best,
[00:23:26] you know, best of three.
[00:23:27] They two-ohed them.
[00:23:27] They just came in and kind of really showed them
[00:23:29] what was up after a play break.
[00:23:31] I mean, more than two-ohed them.
[00:23:32] They went down five or six-one starting
[00:23:34] on the first half of the first map.
[00:23:36] I almost checked out mentally when I saw that.
[00:23:39] I'm like, this is Vitality.
[00:23:41] They're back.
[00:23:41] They had the struggle at the major.
[00:23:43] They're coming back into the first event of the season,
[00:23:45] ready to play, and then Liquid managed to come back
[00:23:47] from the deficit, from that, you know,
[00:23:50] tough situation they were in, close out map one,
[00:23:52] and then dominate map two as well.
[00:23:54] That, the start of the game, the fact that they didn't
[00:23:56] just run away with it and touch vitality flat footed,
[00:23:59] I think is the most impressive part of that.
[00:24:01] That's a definitely interesting aspect.
[00:24:03] Also, I've always, I felt like watching that series
[00:24:05] that the teamwork was surprisingly on point,
[00:24:08] even though Elise did pop off the page scoreboard wise,
[00:24:11] it wasn't a performance where I thought,
[00:24:13] okay, that's unsustainable,
[00:24:14] because we've seen a leech be a star in the past.
[00:24:16] We've seen him be a star when he's played under JT in the past.
[00:24:20] So this wasn't some kind of huge outlier
[00:24:22] in terms of performance.
[00:24:23] This was just seeing him sort of reclaim the form
[00:24:26] that he had the last time he was united with that captain.
[00:24:28] Well, you guys have already put, you know,
[00:24:30] the Liquid Vitality Series as the biggest upset.
[00:24:32] So I do wonder what our next upset ranks
[00:24:35] in the grand scheme of what we're talking about here.
[00:24:37] It was Dendeley being able to take the best of three
[00:24:39] off of Furio, one that you actually put together, right?
[00:24:42] Now you can take ownership and property of that one.
[00:24:45] Well, I felt like the Vito also really played into the favor of Dendeley, that they had
[00:24:50] already shown through other online qualifiers what they are capable of on cash.
[00:24:54] So when you saw Fury, you played this one out.
[00:24:57] First of all, the Anubis stuff was great from Dendeley to get off on that.
[00:25:01] But the cash win where it got down to the nitty gritty showed that Fury's playbook
[00:25:05] might be a little bit more shallow than Dendeley's, where Fury were just trying to spam these
[00:25:09] mid to B splits and didn't really work out.
[00:25:12] Dendale caught on.
[00:25:13] They rotated players a little bit earlier,
[00:25:15] and tactically, they just looked more ready to play that map.
[00:25:18] I think it makes sense from a furia
[00:25:20] where you have a lot of older school players.
[00:25:21] You play cash the way you used to play it.
[00:25:23] You go for the mid control consistently.
[00:25:25] You can go into the execs both sides of the map,
[00:25:27] but at the end of the day, I think Dendale actually
[00:25:29] have a really great idea of how to play cash as well.
[00:25:31] It's not just that furia have these good mid controls.
[00:25:34] I think you're right.
[00:25:34] The rotates getting on the right side at the right time
[00:25:37] was very impressive from Dendeley and I think they're looking at the new meta of
[00:25:41] cash and seeing if they can get they can advance things. I would have loved to
[00:25:44] have seen them as well be that other team that we could have talked a little
[00:25:46] bit more about seen in this round number three here but unfortunately when we
[00:25:49] look at round number two and what happened when we did have our top 16
[00:25:53] teams is they ended up picking phase for themselves and for you guys who might
[00:25:57] not be aware they then ended up being a team that played the final best of three
[00:26:02] in a round of 32 to being the first team to play in a round of 60.
[00:26:07] I mean, the problem is that they're aware of that and that could have played into it, into their pick.
[00:26:12] Maybe they think that FaZe didn't have time to prepare for them.
[00:26:15] But unfortunately, as you're alluding to, I think it's the opposite.
[00:26:18] I think they struggled with that. They might not have had someone actually tell them.
[00:26:22] They're in their organization, inform them that this is how it goes,
[00:26:26] because they did look like they just didn't have the right preparation at least.
[00:26:29] That and also I think some of the players who looked hotter in the furious series didn't show up in the phase one
[00:26:33] Which is expected when you have to play a match what 12 hours later?
[00:26:36] Yeah, Max core was not the same guy from day one to day two there
[00:26:41] He was kind of stealing the show against Furia not really anywhere to be found against phase clan
[00:26:46] So that's obviously gonna hinder the individual level as they have very little time to sleep prep eat everything else
[00:26:52] And I know that we were looking at all the upsets from that round number one
[00:26:56] But this time around in round two, it was only two about bounty hunters that were able to get a win for themselves.
[00:27:01] And what kept popping up in all of our draft shows was Mongols seeming like a easy target.
[00:27:06] People wanting to pick them, even though there were lower seated teams still available, Mongols really showed up.
[00:27:11] Then new players really showed up for them.
[00:27:14] I mean, they're looking like much better than I think people were expecting, especially 9-10.
[00:27:19] You could argue if he's looked like the most impressive offer so far at this event.
[00:27:22] I think he's been taking over games himself.
[00:27:25] He's been showcasing how well he can play.
[00:27:27] Since Senzu's left, I only think he's been kicking it up a notch.
[00:27:30] So to see them, I still expect them, unfortunately,
[00:27:33] to be picked pretty early on here.
[00:27:35] But I do think that they're impressing.
[00:27:36] And the new players take a walk.
[00:27:38] I think Darkmeister is looking credible.
[00:27:40] They've really been showcasing their skill.
[00:27:42] We're seeing glimpses of the new guys
[00:27:44] and what they're capable of.
[00:27:45] And I think that it's still going to be a tough task for them
[00:27:49] to find more wins here in the quarter finals of the bounty
[00:27:52] regardless of who decides to pick them.
[00:27:55] But I think that it is already a testament to how well
[00:27:58] the Mongol system actually works,
[00:27:59] that they're serviceable,
[00:28:00] that they actually haven't just completely blown it.
[00:28:03] Because those guys were playing with five officials
[00:28:05] under their bell.
[00:28:06] I think Tick-A-Wock or Darkmeister,
[00:28:08] one of them only had five games on HLTV
[00:28:10] before joining this tournament.
[00:28:11] And to still be able to hold his own,
[00:28:14] to actually top frag one of the maps
[00:28:16] that were played already in the opening rounds,
[00:28:18] that's just super impressive.
[00:28:19] I mean, at the end of the day, numbers are just, well, stats are just numbers, right?
[00:28:24] And wins are still wins. They're the things that really matter there.
[00:28:27] And I don't know if your whole Mongols won't get another win is a hot take.
[00:28:30] If it's lukewarm, if it's the most mild thing people have ever seen in their lives.
[00:28:33] But I'm now going to put you on the spot.
[00:28:35] I would love to know what your hot takes are.
[00:28:38] I'm going to start with you, because I feel like I haven't gotten that spice from you yet.
[00:28:41] I think the bounty hunters are going to win at least 50% of their games.
[00:28:45] And by at least 50%, I mean exactly 50%.
[00:28:48] I think the others are going to wait 50% of their games.
[00:28:52] Mongols are going to get taken down.
[00:28:53] And Astralis, they're going to lose the pain.
[00:28:55] Oh, OK.
[00:28:56] All right.
[00:28:57] I like it.
[00:28:58] I like it.
[00:28:58] I think I'm buying it.
[00:28:59] I think, yeah, it's got some heat.
[00:29:03] What, like level two spice at a Thai restaurant?
[00:29:05] OK, OK, OK.
[00:29:06] Let's see what your level five spice I'll take is then.
[00:29:08] Come on, Vali.
[00:29:09] All right.
[00:29:09] This is a little bit of hopeium, copium, whatever it is.
[00:29:12] I'm smoking them, OK?
[00:29:13] I like what I've been seeing from Liquid.
[00:29:16] They have the last pick in this draft show.
[00:29:18] They're probably going to get spirit, but I think they're at least going to win a map, okay?
[00:29:24] We got to still maintain credibility with some of our takes, okay?
[00:29:27] It can't go overboard too quickly here, okay?
[00:29:29] But no, what they showed versus Vitality versus G2,
[00:29:33] I believe enough that there is something to work with.
[00:29:35] I think there will be a map where Elige will humble Donk.
[00:29:39] Let me hit you with a counter-hot take, Maui.
[00:29:41] I think this will be Donk's highest-rated event ever.
[00:29:48] ever. He is going to humble Elise, JT, NAF. They're going to be humble. Even if they
[00:29:53] get a map win, he's going to carry on it. He's going to go into the semis. He's going
[00:29:56] to dominate whoever that is. And in the finals, he's going to take Miles down. No problem.
[00:30:00] Well, I do love the hot takes, but I also feel like you guys are skipping a step. You're
[00:30:04] putting a lot of assumptions out there that we're going to be seeing liquid up against
[00:30:08] spirit. Maybe there's another team out there in the bounty hunter side of those four teams
[00:30:12] that is willing to take on that challenge. Well, I just say before and now, we hope you
[00:30:17] I'm smoking. That's it. I'm
[00:30:19] going to be on that train right
[00:30:20] now because there is a potential
[00:30:22] chance that we're going to see
[00:30:23] our draft show change a little
[00:30:24] bit shape up in an unexpected
[00:30:26] way. But the person to bring us
[00:30:27] all that action is going to be
[00:30:29] James Banks. Thank you very
[00:30:32] much, guys for that breakdown
[00:30:34] as we get ready to dive into the
[00:30:36] draft show and the draft show
[00:30:37] can always be a little bit of
[00:30:39] fun. It gets harder as we have
[00:30:40] less teams here at the bounty,
[00:30:42] but we've moved from on the line
[00:30:44] into land and that's where some
[00:30:46] And that's where some of these teams have got a point to prove, and others may do their best work.
[00:30:51] Remember, Titans have fallen throughout this. It's the start of the season.
[00:30:54] Anything can happen, upsets can happen, things can get a little bit crazy.
[00:30:58] But we do like it when Counter-Strike gets crazy like that.
[00:31:01] So let's talk a little bit more about our teams.
[00:31:03] And starting with that, we're looking at Spirit.
[00:31:06] Spirit are really the kings of the bounty.
[00:31:08] After surviving the upsets and a grueling online starts at a season,
[00:31:11] while the rest of the elites, they stumbled.
[00:31:13] they stumbled. The dragons have never faltered and now they arrive with one goal to remind
[00:31:18] everyone who's on top.
[00:31:23] Maus, a rookie in-game leader, an academy star promoted, and a familiar face that had
[00:31:28] a little bit of time elsewhere comes back to the team. The mighty Maus have embraced
[00:31:32] change and now it's time to find out if this new era is ready to deliver from day one.
[00:31:39] The Mongols, Fresh Faces, Two Young Stars, Dark Leicester and Tick-A-Wack, they impressed
[00:31:45] in their first taste of Top Tier Counter Strike.
[00:31:47] Now though, it gets tough.
[00:31:49] They don't have their coach behind them, so can they keep that fearless fighting spirit
[00:31:52] alive, especially when it matters most?
[00:31:57] Astralis is coming up next.
[00:32:00] No roster changes for this team, just a new perspective.
[00:32:03] A fresh support of players behind the scene helping them out this time round.
[00:32:07] Nioh is going to be the coach,
[00:32:08] Ursula is coming to help with the mentality
[00:32:10] and the performance.
[00:32:11] Astralis have another opportunity
[00:32:13] to put one of Counterstrike's greatest names
[00:32:15] back on the right path.
[00:32:18] Pain have had slip-up after slip-up.
[00:32:20] They've tumbled down the rankings
[00:32:22] and out of the biggest events.
[00:32:23] But Safe had a good reborn refresh onto the AWP
[00:32:27] and he could be the safest pair of hands in Brazil
[00:32:30] to help them finally have a difference
[00:32:32] and stop all the bleeding here.
[00:32:34] For FaZe, they are looking better and maybe it is time to start believing in them at once
[00:32:41] again.
[00:32:42] Some new players, some fresh blood mixed in with that old style that we know and love
[00:32:45] coming out of twists and frozen.
[00:32:48] But now they have a point to prove.
[00:32:49] They've done it online, can they now do it on LAN?
[00:32:55] 3D Max trusting their former IGL to take it back over once again.
[00:32:59] They have also turned an AWPer into a Rifler.
[00:33:02] We've also given a form of vitality talent, another chance if you remember Masuta from
[00:33:06] all the way back then, and with a two-time major champion guiding them from behind the
[00:33:10] scenes could this finally be the time to put French Counter Strike back on the map.
[00:33:16] And last but certainly not least, Liquid, you could call it a honeymoon, you could say
[00:33:23] it was only online when they were going through these results, but they did dismantle Vitality
[00:33:27] and G2.
[00:33:28] Now, people need to start paying attention to this team, especially with what we saw.
[00:33:31] JT has them flying.
[00:33:33] Djorko is making a leap opposition look positively.
[00:33:36] Djorko, ha ha.
[00:33:40] And with that being said, I've had my fun.
[00:33:42] The teams certainly will be ready for this one,
[00:33:44] but it is maybe a bit easy to predict how some of this can go.
[00:33:47] Will we get some spice this time on the bounty?
[00:33:50] We'll have to wait and see.
[00:33:50] But first of all, let's bring our players
[00:33:52] and coaches onto the stage.
[00:33:54] Thank you very much, everybody.
[00:34:23] Thank you very much everyone for joining us for our live draft show.
[00:34:27] Magics, I'm going to start with you.
[00:34:29] A nice start to the season.
[00:34:30] Why you look surprised when I'm going to start with you?
[00:34:33] Why?
[00:34:34] You don't get to pick anyone, so I'm just going to talk to you, you know?
[00:34:36] You just have to wait for this all to happen.
[00:34:37] Yeah, I know.
[00:34:38] Last time around, you got to predict yourself right before you kind of understood exactly what was going to happen.
[00:34:44] Will you share how you think it's going to go with me this time?
[00:34:47] I have no idea.
[00:34:48] You have no idea?
[00:34:49] You didn't plan this through?
[00:34:50] No.
[00:34:51] Okay, I'm a little bit disappointed.
[00:34:52] Where's Jab-Jabic?
[00:34:54] He's fired.
[00:34:55] He's fired?
[00:34:56] I hope so.
[00:34:57] Okay, maybe you should sell him to another team.
[00:34:59] He's got good personality.
[00:35:00] Maybe Falcons.
[00:35:04] Alright, alright.
[00:35:05] Magics, thank you very much.
[00:35:06] Cyclone, I like the little changes we saw.
[00:35:09] A bit of a surprise.
[00:35:10] No JL, PR comes in as well.
[00:35:12] But you know, he wasn't a mouse jersey.
[00:35:14] Mouthed XT jersey once before.
[00:35:16] What's it been like having him come back?
[00:35:19] He's grown a lot,
[00:35:20] But I think he's still a young kid, you know, and now we have a couple of them, so it's a very new dynamic for us.
[00:35:26] And what about Zershin and the IGL? He's still fragging out pretty well.
[00:35:29] Have you been impressed with what you've seen to how the season started?
[00:35:32] Definitely. I think there will still be some growing pains throughout the season for sure.
[00:35:36] But he was always a big voice in our team.
[00:35:38] Very vocal, good at organising, facilitating, also really into the nerdy side of watching a lot of games and stuff.
[00:35:46] You want that in your IGL as well, very positive.
[00:35:48] Techno, hello, how are you doing?
[00:35:50] We're good.
[00:35:51] Good to hear.
[00:35:52] You guys have got two very young players coming in, rookie players, Tychoak and Darkmeister.
[00:35:57] Can you just maybe say some things about how it's been with them early on coming into the
[00:36:01] team, just what are your thoughts on them?
[00:36:04] Because we're all just learning about them at this moment.
[00:36:08] I think they threw themselves.
[00:36:10] Everyone was thinking we're not going to qualify.
[00:36:13] Yeah.
[00:36:14] We're here now.
[00:36:15] You're here now?
[00:36:16] And you're not going to end in the first game right, no matter who picks you.
[00:36:18] You believe even without Mara, you can still get it done, you can go further.
[00:36:22] Yeah, but we have a lot to do, but we're confident for us.
[00:36:27] You're always confident that is very key.
[00:36:29] Nio!
[00:36:30] I'm just...
[00:36:31] Oh my God, I can't...
[00:36:33] It's real, I am checking, it is real.
[00:36:35] It does look different.
[00:36:36] Kind of similar colors though, you have to keep it a little bit red.
[00:36:40] You think red looks good on you, right?
[00:36:43] You look good.
[00:36:44] But tell me, how is it going in terms of obviously having to come in and coach a new
[00:36:47] team it's so early in a season line. What do you try to even change or do is it more observing and
[00:36:53] just looking at what's happening? I mean I've learned my lesson in the face but still it's a
[00:36:59] new environment they already have like the same lineup so I need to get to know them and
[00:37:04] see how they operate and that's a process. And how much does it mean though early on to just
[00:37:09] be in this stage where you can make it to the LAN playoffs here in Malta? It feels great looking
[00:37:13] forward to my first game offline with the team.
[00:37:17] All right, and just one last thing for you.
[00:37:19] Many people seem to think that it could be like you guys being picked first.
[00:37:22] Do you have that same thought in your head?
[00:37:24] It might be a simulation as well, we'll see.
[00:37:26] It might be, it might be.
[00:37:27] We'll have to wait and see.
[00:37:28] Big Izera!
[00:37:29] Hello.
[00:37:30] How are you?
[00:37:31] Very good.
[00:37:32] Did you have some good vacation time with family back home in Brazil?
[00:37:35] I know it's very important for your mentality and what you bring into each season.
[00:37:39] Yeah, I think I need more time.
[00:37:43] Yeah, it was okay. We always need more time. I understand that with you as well
[00:37:47] Talk to me a little bit about safe right now because I was worried at one point that maybe he didn't have it
[00:37:52] Like what it took to fill the shoes for NQZ, but in this online stage, oh, he was owning he was doing real good
[00:37:58] So are you starting to see his development his improvements?
[00:38:02] Yeah, I think he's a kind of player that
[00:38:06] He has like a lot of ideas. So it's difficult sometimes in a short time to keep
[00:38:12] this kind of ideas in the whole system.
[00:38:17] So right now I know his way to play and his ideas.
[00:38:23] And also you get to pick first today when we get to that.
[00:38:26] That's the best position to be in, right?
[00:38:28] Yeah, I think so.
[00:38:29] Let's see how it goes.
[00:38:31] NKJ, thank you very much for being here.
[00:38:33] Welcome to the draft show.
[00:38:35] Looking good in that phase, Jersey.
[00:38:37] But you already had a couple of outings with this team already.
[00:38:39] already. Jabo and obviously a very big name on what he's been able to do, but
[00:38:43] how are you trying to coach and manage him a little bit, especially with how
[00:38:47] aggressive he can be? How much do you let him be free? What do you want to see from
[00:38:50] this event? I just want him to be as free as possible. I just want him to be the
[00:38:54] j-bone that he grew up to be, you know. Not really that many handcuffs given to
[00:38:58] him, you know. He can do whatever he wants, but he needs to learn his lessons.
[00:39:01] Hopefully he did so in China last couple weeks. Yes, yeah. I saw the vlog as
[00:39:05] well, right? He was very deflated after China, but he still performed very well.
[00:39:09] Yeah, most certainly he did really well. He did not only surpass my expectations, but most certainly his own and this is the most important thing.
[00:39:16] Very good and very positive for the development. Wazink, how are you?
[00:39:19] Good.
[00:39:20] Now, looking at this, you guys took an AWPer and turned him into a rifle and he was looking pretty crispy in game.
[00:39:26] Was it a risk when you asked him to do that or did you already always know that he could be capable with the rifle?
[00:39:32] No, I know he's a good player, a true team, and we know in France like he was a really good rifle, so I expect him to be here and he has to improve.
[00:39:44] And for you guys, right, you've obviously had a couple of changes. Besuta came in in February, right, now you're at Inkerzi.
[00:39:50] How much has that slowed down the team being able to be comfortable and like be able to get back to where you were before because you're bleeding a lot of VRS points right now.
[00:39:59] Yeah, but we had a group like leaving together playing together since maybe three or four years
[00:40:04] So we had to bring fresh blood. Yeah, we know it's long process
[00:40:09] Unfortunately, it's like it's bringing a lot of lose, but now we're better and better. Just question of time
[00:40:15] Hopefully you continue to show it here as well
[00:40:18] Flashy, you're also here for just a bit of fun, right? Because you don't get to make a choice in this really you just get whoever's
[00:40:24] left over. Let me first ask you this though. Scheduling. You're all good with the scheduling,
[00:40:28] everything's all understood right now, no more problems? No more problems, we've solved it.
[00:40:32] You've solved it, you've solved it nice and easy. When it comes to you though, right, are you just
[00:40:36] expecting to face Spirit given where you're at right now? You've already had all the tough games
[00:40:40] and you've done it very well. Yeah, might as well continue, right? I think, yeah, that's the expected
[00:40:46] scenario but who knows, maybe we'll get surprised. And just tell me, what is it that is so impressive
[00:40:51] about this team clicking from the beginning. The names you took down were no joke and it's the
[00:40:54] way you've been able to do it as well. I think there is just a lot of belief in the team and trust
[00:40:59] towards each other and our chemistry has been really strong from the get go. Very positive and
[00:41:03] it's all working out but with that we've had a nice little opening conversation for everyone.
[00:41:07] It is time for the draft show to begin.
[00:41:13] And with that Mr. Biggisera, smile on your face right now.
[00:41:18] yeah this is a good position to be in yeah was it a hard decision to make don't
[00:41:24] give me the name just yet but like did it take some sitting down what did you
[00:41:27] guys talk about as a team how did you make this decision to be honest we were
[00:41:35] just thinking about the map beats and what the map pool would be better for us
[00:41:40] and also thinking VRS points so okay something that is so important right now
[00:41:47] and we know that when a match in LAN is so important so yeah basically.
[00:41:55] And does it feel like you guys as a team have started to improve since you've been back in Europe as well
[00:42:00] because I know you had some struggles at the beginning
[00:42:03] but is it getting better in your eyes as the leader of what you are seeing day after day?
[00:42:07] Yeah, always. In Europe the culture strike is much better than Brazil so we improve a lot.
[00:42:14] At the same time, we know that we have to stay a little bit there because if you just stay in Europe, we got crazy.
[00:42:23] But it's difficult to balance the time in Brazil and the time here, but we try our best.
[00:42:32] Now I'm going to pop an all-important question to you, but I won't ask you to marry me. I'm going to ask you. Who are you going to pick out here?
[00:42:39] Okay, I'm picking Astralis.
[00:42:49] The respectful handshake from the very beginning, give me just the reason you decided to pick Astralis, please pick Azir.
[00:42:56] Sure, as I said, Astralis has the first thing that I think about Astralis is the map pick is ancient and we don't play ancient.
[00:43:07] So it's a big point for us. We have a lot of maps in common that we like to play.
[00:43:17] It's another point and the last time that we face it we won them.
[00:43:23] Helps a lot.
[00:43:24] Counter-Strike is not like a rule and it's just more like a football sometimes and we never know.
[00:43:31] But yeah, basically that's...
[00:43:34] Okay, Neo was this one you were expecting? Yeah, that was one of the options. Yeah, I guess
[00:43:40] Yeah, and they're a great team. So it's not an easy measure
[00:43:43] But you were the team that lost on last time now you're here you can be the difference maker, right?
[00:43:47] You can help pull that pre-plan and then make yourself ready for it. That's the plan. That's always the plan
[00:43:51] That's always the plan. The reality is sometimes different, but we'll see. Is Huxley already preparing for this?
[00:43:57] Yeah, probably. Probably, yeah.
[00:43:59] He's watching me guys. Okay, it's hard to do this. I said Neo here
[00:44:02] I've got to make sure I'm ready to get the job done but all in all from what you saw from the online stage from your boys
[00:44:08] Like do you see a difference or maybe when you watch back some of the games when you were not there?
[00:44:14] I would like to say so
[00:44:17] But it's still a process. We've had a bootcamp. We've been working on our game. So
[00:44:23] Yeah, I mean let's see on Friday. Let's see how it goes. Thank you very much guys NKJ
[00:44:29] It's your time to look at this one. Were you gonna pick Australia so they were still left open?
[00:44:36] Honestly, yeah
[00:44:38] Maybe
[00:44:41] Honestly, I mean yes or no, I mean if they were open, yeah
[00:44:47] Yeah, we would have picked them I guess okay, okay now I've seen this so many times don't give me the answer
[00:44:52] Just yeah, but I mean like we look at this right we see the opposition you've got you might want to challenge
[00:44:57] You might want to try to take Spirit. They went a few maps. They went deep, you know.
[00:45:01] Could I encourage you on going for a tougher pick?
[00:45:04] I mean, you can try.
[00:45:05] It's probably not going to work.
[00:45:07] Well, let me... So, I know for a fact, right, that Magix right now is unhappy because he's here.
[00:45:13] Yeah?
[00:45:14] So you could use that to your advantage.
[00:45:16] Because he'd be surprised if you picked him right now.
[00:45:19] And then maybe they're not ready for you.
[00:45:20] I mean, they would have to be ready no matter what for the match tomorrow, you know.
[00:45:23] But we would have an extra day.
[00:45:25] Yes, he could. You would have.
[00:45:26] You know, no one would have expected you to pick them, you know?
[00:45:29] But all jokes aside, get ready for it. Give it to me.
[00:45:32] Who is FaZe picking?
[00:45:35] We are going to be picking Mongols.
[00:45:37] Mongols? Okay!
[00:45:42] Now, a lot of teams told me before when they picked the Mongols that,
[00:45:45] okay, they're coming in with two new rookie players, you know?
[00:45:48] Now it's on LAN as well. Do you think that could be a factor for you guys?
[00:45:51] Hmm, not necessarily. I don't think the LAN factor's in that much, in all honesty.
[00:45:56] We just considered a lot of other factors just like because I was saying before the net pool
[00:46:01] Also the starting time of the match plays in our hands right not necessarily having to play tomorrow already
[00:46:05] But yeah on Friday and then also given the the ranking the VRS ranking there right above us one rank
[00:46:12] I think there are four keens currently, okay, and there will be obviously decent VRS points
[00:46:16] We could be climbing a rank
[00:46:18] They will be losing a rank which could favor us for the oldest ranking then it did also factor in the fact
[00:46:23] They don't have Mara here as well. No coach behind them
[00:46:26] I don't think so, to be quite fair, it could actually be an additional kind of motivating factor for them,
[00:46:34] not having the coach with them that they're kind of saying, hey, let's do it for him, but who knows, I cannot tell it.
[00:46:40] Techno, tell me, how much does it hurt you guys as the Mongols not having Mara behind you, especially with two new young players as well?
[00:46:50] We already played without Mara once or twice in this year.
[00:46:55] Two tournaments I mean. So I think we're kind of, I'd have to do it, so I think that's not the problem.
[00:47:04] But what about for the young players, do they not need to have someone like Mara behind to be there day after day?
[00:47:10] Sometimes if there's a coach behind, the new players can be thrifted maybe.
[00:47:16] Oh, okay, yeah.
[00:47:17] Maybe. It has two sides, but coach needed it, but it has two sides.
[00:47:22] And maybe who knows, the new two players will play their own and maybe dominate them.
[00:47:29] There we go. We have seen them dominate already a couple of times.
[00:47:31] They've looked good on the server, so we'll have to see how it goes.
[00:47:34] Now we continue to move on forward. So we've got our opening two matchups.
[00:47:38] You decide everything. For 3D Max, I wasn't even interested.
[00:47:40] You decide in all of how this will go, because whichever pick you make now decides
[00:47:45] who Liquid is going to get as well.
[00:47:47] You've got Spirit, who everyone says is going to win the whole tournament.
[00:47:51] You've got a mouse who have got some new players in, but they're still a very deadly team.
[00:47:55] So did you expect already that this would be the order?
[00:47:58] Had you predicted this?
[00:48:00] To be honest, I don't care.
[00:48:02] Oh, okay!
[00:48:03] Yeah, no, really.
[00:48:04] I like this.
[00:48:04] It's for good teams, to be honest.
[00:48:06] And we know, like, we trust that we can beat each team,
[00:48:12] It depends on us, and after it's about map pool and plan, you know?
[00:48:17] I like that, so it's a lot about the mentality right coming out from you guys and the team.
[00:48:21] How is the mentality though in the team after obviously making it to LAN?
[00:48:25] We're happy, we're happy, that's why I couldn't choose like the past day were not already good for us,
[00:48:32] but we're happy about the performance, it's the first time for 3D Max to go there, so we're really happy.
[00:48:38] Really happy, I'm sure you are with it all.
[00:48:40] And one final question, because I've got to build some time up in this, we're waiting to get a couple of things ready.
[00:48:45] I want to ask you about this.
[00:48:46] Cash obviously is a map you guys started to show some love and like a bit too.
[00:48:50] How much does MBK help with that man? He's even got a spot on the map named after himself.
[00:48:54] Yeah, he helps us a lot about the map because me as a player I didn't play a lot in this map.
[00:48:59] So as a coach I don't have a lot of experience, but he helps us a lot in CT more than T, but yeah, he helps.
[00:49:07] Okay, I was expecting that. Thank you very much for the insight. All right. It's time to get into it
[00:49:12] Who is 3d max picking you got two teams to choose from?
[00:49:18] We pick most
[00:49:22] Not the biggest of surprises coming in there you didn't fancy your chances against spirit
[00:49:28] We could but I think about my pool and since the first day I want to pick most of your nest
[00:49:34] We wanted this, we thought it was possible, but before we took another choice and it was a perfect day to take it now, and Spirit is a good team, but we know it will be between these two teams.
[00:49:51] We have to make a choice and Mapool was better for us.
[00:49:54] Cycron, going up against 3D Max in this one, was this one that you just expected to come down to this, that you predicted it yourself?
[00:50:02] I'm surprised, no, but I was surprised with the earlier pick, I thought it would have
[00:50:07] been the other way around.
[00:50:08] Okay.
[00:50:09] Yeah, I think it would be a good matchup.
[00:50:12] I think for both teams a bit of a transition period, new players coming in, changing their
[00:50:17] direction, some fresh plot as you said.
[00:50:19] I think it's a fresh start also for this matchup.
[00:50:22] I want to ask you, you guys often when you have to play these online tournaments play
[00:50:25] from the mouse HQ, right?
[00:50:27] You play in front of a crowd each time as well.
[00:50:29] How much do you feel something like that is just helping, especially for the younger players?
[00:50:34] Of course it helps, because it's not just that the pressure is that high in that setting,
[00:50:40] but that's a bit of a distraction.
[00:50:42] You need to maintain focus, things will happen throughout the day,
[00:50:46] and you need to stay polished, right, and there's a bit of a challenge in that regard.
[00:50:51] And what's now, obviously you guys have had your core for a long time,
[00:50:54] but in terms of having these new five players coming in,
[00:50:57] I remember before you were talking about the energy and the vibe you wanted, right?
[00:51:01] Is it starting to, like, you see something different in it?
[00:51:04] Do you see a different energy? Are you getting what you wanted?
[00:51:07] I mean, now the direction is much more youthful, right?
[00:51:10] The young guys, they're hanging a lot to get out.
[00:51:14] I think also Adrian coming in with Adam, George and Célix, two Hungarians.
[00:51:20] So, better put, there's a big brother, little brother, so then G.
[00:51:22] OK.
[00:51:23] And, yeah, I think it's a fresh look from us.
[00:51:27] Awesome.
[00:51:27] Well, I look forward to seeing more of that fresh look.
[00:51:30] And then for this last one, well, flashy, you expected this.
[00:51:33] You didn't have much chance.
[00:51:34] Let me ask you this.
[00:51:35] Did you already do your preparation for spirit?
[00:51:37] Of course.
[00:51:37] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:51:38] You just could do it in advance.
[00:51:40] Actually, I was thinking if he's willing to pick spirit,
[00:51:42] he said maybe.
[00:51:42] I was a bit shaky, but.
[00:51:44] You were like, wait, wait, oh, no.
[00:51:45] Maybe it should have asked you.
[00:51:46] Yeah, yeah, it's better not to know.
[00:51:48] But you got spirit in the end.
[00:51:49] you very prepared and ready for this as well right but you had challenges so
[00:51:54] obviously beating Vitality beating G2 I know Spirit's another team right it's
[00:51:59] another top team but the confidence must be there in what you've been able to
[00:52:02] do. Yeah we are really confident and we believe we can win this match up but it
[00:52:07] will be tough for sure. It will be tough for sure. Magics you're here for us
[00:52:10] finally sorry you've been waiting so long but at least you're smiling thumbs up I
[00:52:14] like this this is positive thank you very much Magics look at this you are
[00:52:17] probably expecting to face Liquid but do they get some more respect from you and the team because
[00:52:22] obviously they took down a Vitality, they took down a G2 already? Yeah, I feel like they definitely
[00:52:30] earned some respect because they've beaten Vitality. Of course everyone can say that it was like the
[00:52:35] warm-up game after the break but you know, we also could have lost earlier. Yeah, yeah. I've seen
[00:52:43] it two times I guess and looking at this spirit has a lot of success when it
[00:52:49] comes to the blast bounty in general two trophies already not the beginning of
[00:52:53] this year but I mean everyone's looking at you guys as the favorites does it
[00:52:57] feel like you are favorites do you feel like this is your tournament to take I
[00:53:02] don't care you don't care yeah okay so if you win better just get better yeah
[00:53:09] just get better play better that's all we all want to do in all life that's good
[00:53:12] advice for everyone in the world no matter what we're doing but the draft show is done
[00:53:15] we do have our matchup so guys shake hands, take your time, enjoy each other for a little
[00:53:20] bit longer and we're done.
[00:53:22] See you tomorrow.
[00:53:23] Thank you.
[00:53:24] It feels like out of the 12 people in front of the camera at least one person was surprised.
[00:53:34] It wasn't me, it definitely wasn't Buu or Maui or Cygrian.
[00:53:37] He's like oh the earlier pigs might have been swapped around there with the straws not necessarily
[00:53:42] being the first team to get picked up.
[00:53:43] But now, yeah, unfortunately, I didn't get my upset
[00:53:46] of Spirit getting picked early in our draft show.
[00:53:49] No, not quite, not quite.
[00:53:51] I feel like if you really want to make a distant case
[00:53:53] for a team that could have went for a phase
[00:53:56] because they share a permaband, maybe gives them
[00:53:58] a little bit of an edge in the veto,
[00:53:59] but no, everybody's just too scared of Spirit, of course.
[00:54:02] I was kind of there with Cyclone,
[00:54:04] even though Pain had beaten Astralis
[00:54:06] at the most recent major and did it
[00:54:08] in a very dominant fashion.
[00:54:10] I thought maybe they thought that this new look Mongols was worth trying to take down.
[00:54:15] Yeah, I think the problem is, as you said, the map pools, but they took them down at the major.
[00:54:19] I mean, they took them out of the entire event and it looked dominant while doing so.
[00:54:22] And as much as Astralis, you know, they've made some changes maybe in the way they're approaching the game.
[00:54:27] It's still the most obvious pick, especially because you've seen Tick-A-Wock and Darkmeister have both had some pop-off performances for Mongols.
[00:54:34] So you're not looking at them as like super obvious, super like weak links in the team.
[00:54:39] We also like I wouldn't say necessarily impressed is the right word here Maui
[00:54:42] But like intrigued as to the reasoning behind some of the picks because at the end of the day
[00:54:47] There is that option of going with oh our gut feel is just this team is going to be better for us
[00:54:51] Whereas it felt very logical. Oh, we share these map videos. That's a perm a band
[00:54:56] We also don't play it the RS rankings obviously played a massive factor even though I would have liked them not to
[00:55:02] I feel like it was more or less
[00:55:04] I think in the earlier round like the round of 32, for example, we saw a lot more surprise picks more so because the I think the team is in sort of that 6 to 10 range sort of mess around a little bit more whereas this time around it was more just kind of worse team to best team generally speaking.
[00:55:22] I think when you're looking at it, you take a look at who can you pick in this lineup? Picking mouths and spirit is like saying you're just you're just you're signing your own death warrant.
[00:55:31] your own death warrant. There's no justification to pick them when Mongols and Astralis are
[00:55:37] open at the top of the list.
[00:55:39] That's because we have the best eight teams in the world right now.
[00:55:41] Exactly, exactly. These are one to eight my best eight teams in the world. No caveat.
[00:55:47] Kind of a weird power ranking to publish this. Do you want to put a byline on that or what?
[00:55:54] Signed by Boo.
[00:55:55] Okay.
[00:55:56] Hey look, at least someone's willing to put a little bit of extra pizzazz out there.
[00:56:00] Yeah, it definitely was no surprise at all. We loved the reasoning, but what do you think is going to be your most your most your most?
[00:56:07] Finish my sentence. Do you know what I'm gonna say? My most entertaining game is gonna be liquid
[00:56:14] Let me say this one if spirit look like they did online, which they won't but if they do if they do yeah liquid way
[00:56:20] Oh, what how are you gonna one up my hot take before the draft?
[00:56:25] I don't even think this is hot. If you think about how spirit looked online
[00:56:31] Did you see that final map they played against a hundred thieves no actually I I met him black mind
[00:56:40] Rating ever it doesn't matter how spirit look if donk looks like that on land that he will actually get
[00:56:47] that. Yeah, that's why. Yeah,
[00:56:52] that's why. Yeah, that's why.
[00:56:53] Excluding excluding that math.
[00:56:55] Okay. If we pretend that map
[00:56:57] didn't they were warming up to
[00:56:58] land. That's why they looked so
[00:56:59] good back because you keep
[00:57:00] saying not that they will look
[00:57:01] like online spirit. But if they
[00:57:03] did and we don't want to look at
[00:57:04] the past anymore, we want to
[00:57:05] look towards the future. We
[00:57:06] want to see what our schedule
[00:57:07] is going to be when we get into
[00:57:09] the action. It is going to be
[00:57:11] liquid and spirit. Our first
[00:57:12] quarter finals. That one's
[00:57:13] going to be starting tomorrow.
[00:57:15] the teams they did, its phase and Mongols and then Astralis up against Payne.
[00:57:20] Why are we starting with the hottest match now? That's just how the seed works in the schedule.
[00:57:24] I'm pretty sure, yeah, but now I'd say that in the middle of the pack, things get pretty interesting there.
[00:57:30] The Mongols kind of match, Astralis match. I think that's where Voo's hot take,
[00:57:35] about there being 50% of the bounty hunters are actually going to find those most wanted heads.
[00:57:41] That's where it's definitely most likely.
[00:57:43] I think that's a good thing.
[00:57:45] Yeah, I do think you also have
[00:57:46] the benefit of the format.
[00:57:48] You get teams picking into a
[00:57:49] matchup that's a little better
[00:57:51] for them. Maybe you have a bit
[00:57:52] of a better chance of an upset,
[00:57:53] but you at least have a better
[00:57:55] chance of a really entertaining
[00:57:56] game. It's going to be an
[00:57:57] entertaining game, no matter
[00:57:58] which one you tune into, but I
[00:57:59] promise you want to catch all
[00:58:00] four of them over our next two
[00:58:02] days of quarter finals. That's
[00:58:03] going to be it for our draft
[00:58:04] shirt right now. I hope you guys
[00:58:05] have had a lot of fun. I've
[00:58:07] enjoyed talking with you guys
[00:58:08] and so I can only imagine what
[00:58:09] the weekend and the rest of this
[00:58:11] event is going to bring in still
[00:58:12] going to be those two quarterfinals tomorrow for our last bounty season two presented by
[00:58:16] Polly Market.
[00:58:23] Welcome to the bounty, a new bold counter strike format where every round raises the stakes.
[00:58:29] Here's how it works.
[00:58:31] The prize pool isn't just this at the end, it's distributed as bounties.
[00:58:36] Each team starts with a bounty based on their seed.
[00:58:39] The lower seed will begin with 0 but can still strike your big by hunting bounties from higher ranked teams.
[00:58:44] Win a match and you secure 50% of your opponent's bouncing as a guaranteed payout.
[00:58:49] The other 50%? It carries forward, growing at stakes for the next round.
[00:58:54] After each round, the lower seeded teams pick their opponents from the higher seeded pool.
[00:58:59] This happens during the live draft shows, taking place before the tournament first begins and after each round at play,
[00:59:07] bounty hunters can choose from the most wanted teams, deciding if they want to choose their
[00:59:11] opponent based on strategy, past history, or simply going for the biggest prize available.
[00:59:18] This is Counter Strike like never before.
[00:59:20] Are you ready to go bounty hunting?
