This is my new event.
I said a while, drafting this up.
I'm drafting this for maybe like four months.
And now we're actually going to launch.
Eight coaches will meet 24 students and do a draft to create eight teams.
Teams will compete and see the lobbies based on individual rank.
Lobbies are 2B2, 2B2, not double up,
because doubles two different from regular GFD.
We're communication matters and every placement counts.
All eight teams will get together for three days of matches.
The idea is the eight coaches will scout the students.
They're all gonna meet on a discord.
They're gonna scout the students see who they like,
and then the coaches are gonna have like an auction.
All the coaches get a hundred dollars.
And then it'll be like, all right,
and now it's time for Scora.
And then everybody writes some numbers.
Oh my God, Scora's really good.
I'll pay $95 of my $100 for Scarra.
And you bid to see who put the highest number.
It's like an auction.
I need draft your team.
You got to figure out how good everybody is
and then bid on them, try to draft the best team.
Then everybody plays, the coaches will also play.
And then it's like a C-DM slam, but for TFT.
It's like all of the box box bash.

Originally, I was going to fund this off of my own money.
I was going to put up $11,000 of my own money to fund this event to give it a try because
I want to see if it was just a fun format.
But yesterday, I found out that we got two sponsors.

I got eight elite coaches. Six of them known for being very good at the game.

want to leave the whole list, but maybe you can get excited about seeing like the first half.

I wanted to take like three weeks to set this up, but I found out that the TFT competitive
tournament cycle is fucked.

So most of what I've been doing is I go to the box box bootcamp and I just
like look somewhere between the casual and advanced because we're looking for
people for streamers that are like between emerald. Wait, sorry between
plats to Grandmaster and it's intentional that there's like a large gap in
skill because it creates very interesting draft. It's like, how much are you willing?

Originally, when I was running the event, I didn't care if the streamer had viewers, but
because right is sponsoring the event.
When right sponsors my events, I try really hard to get a lot of eyeballs on the game, because
game, because that's what Riot Games wants. They're a big company. If they're going to pay
for my events, I have to make it worth their time. So I have to bring as many eyeballs
into the game as possible. So now that Riot is a sponsor, I'm trying to reach out to the
larger creators. Prior to that, I was very down for anybody, as long as they're like an
an interesting person in a good sport.
