if we're actually going to do this, the event has to start in three days and then can I get
together eight coaches and 24 students together in three days and do all the
organizational work. I was very scared. I was thinking like 50-50 is a flop or a
big success but we ended up just doing it anyway. Originally we had zero
sponsors because it was such short notice. I was going to pay for everything out of
my own pocket and then once I confirmed the event, once I locked in everybody,
right games and TFT Academy were just like oh hey actually we're down so it was
awesome. That's why we were able to up the prize pool. When I invited everybody,
When I invited everybody to the event, the price was only $10,000, and it was paid for by myself.
And everybody was down, just because the idea sounded fun.
And then afterwards, we were able to triple the price pool to 32.5K.
So I was like a really nice bonus to price for all the participants.
I was extremely happy with it.
I felt very passionate about the idea for the event.
Just like a SageM slam, but for TFT, I was like, I'm pretty sure there exists a way to do it really well.
If we get the right people.
I'm sure they're happy with this and I'm confident that like I basically want to do this every set as long as it's he set doesn't suck
