We're back to talk more about some of the things we have coming this season, as well as a little bit about some plans later in 2026 and B.M.
Okay? First of all, let's quickly recap what you can expect when you log in tomorrow.

Whether you're playing ranked or not, you're in for some changes.
Right off the bat, and those kills, you'll be hitting your first minions faster as we
increase speeds and champs select and the first minion and jungle spawns.
You also will get your team's own team, in terms of like failites, for expanded, temporary,
warding zones, nine new and return an items, and a new demolished like mechanic on the
power is called crystalline overgrowth.
I was just headbutting it.
Streamline some objectives as well.
We're moving out of town.
Quick thing for the failites.
The failites in the river spawn early, but the failites in your jungle spawn after the
second drink.
And it's blood roses, as well as shoots of strength.
And with major remaining effort objectives, like far and on dragons.
And they've made it so if you press tab, you can't see their secondary runes.
So if you want to know your enemy later secondary runes, check it in loading screen.
Because when you press tab, it just shows I think it did so removed.
And if you want to know if they have caused big insight or not, press tab, put your,
when you have vision on them, put your mouse over their flash, and it will save 300 seconds,
or it'll save, it's too forth, or something with causing anxiety.
If it says too forthy, that it means they have caused big insights, they have inspiration
second.
But it's stronger.
Finally, we're also adding a unique role quest to top, mid, and bot lane.
Similar to the jungle and support quests, which are also getting some upgrades.
Each lane will progress on those quests by killing minions, taking towers.
Top name one of the most or how you take down mutual objectives.
And then once complete, these quest will run rewards by stuff your position.
That means an increased level cap and free telephoto spell for top laners, tier 3 boots
and a powered recall from Edge, or more gold in the same item slot.
There's a lot more in store.
But the include a whole bunch of additional changes are swiftly.

Let's talk a bit about what you can expect going into Season 1.
As we shared in December, this year we wanted to kick things off with UD, justice, and
righteousness.
That means Damasia.
But even more importantly, that means it's Shabbana time y'all.
And she has most of you probably so are in yesterday's cinematic.
She's looking pretty nifty of a new design.
And after years of waiting, she's finally getting her update and act to of the season.
Now, aside from updated visuals for her base human and dragonfolds, and of course all
her skins.
got a sort of a doctor-mundo old fall-aband.
Ooh, it's a pulse cam.
And a high-level her abilities remain pretty similar.
But her final kit details and gameplay field,
I'm getting forever updated.
We really wanted to focus on connecting her two forms
better throughout her kit.
One of the clearest connections for that is her ult.
Chavana still gains fury when using abilities
and taking down champions' cannons and monsters.
When she has enough fury, she can cast her ult
to transform into an actual dragon this time.
Ooh, and greet down fire on everyone in her mouth.

Another part of her kit that's pretty similar to that one.

Giovanna will gain defense of stats and max fury
for taking down champions, cannons, and the extra monsters.
Build wise, we wanted to preserve for a body.
We played both as a bruiser or as a match.
She's hybrid?

We want to preserve and be the priority choice.

So we're going to be prioritizing that a bit
of a big apocalypse.

for her full reveal and act too.

called the Massey Rising. We're trying something different this time with a mid-game
that evolves over the course of the season.

The false dates coming out at regular intervals.
In Damasia, rising, you'll experience the rise of the kingdom of Damasia.
Through the eyes of a young lox, as you get to lessons and history, politics and military strategy from her aunt,
Gianna Crowned out.
You'll help take Damasia from its humble beginnings as a single, small,
settlement between beautiful, shiny nation.
In Damasia, rising, you'll collect resources on a follow-up research, and recruit champions to grow your
kingdom, native lore.
Friday and often, Daiders, then suppression threats.
We took a lot of learnings for this midday, and we wanted to make sure you could play the way you wanted to.
Rather than needing to say dedicate 15 to 30 minutes at a time when engaging with that midday game like this.
The time you can spend as much or as little time as you want, building and managing your cities, and you're better complete fights through order battling.
Now if you choose to spend more time with that.
You'll be rewarded with some bonus battle pass experience.
And finally, outside of domestic related things, coming to season,
We also wanted to take a moment to discuss A-Renmehath.
They're keeping it.
It's been an incredibly popular mode to the K-Mount last year.
Tons of you have been playing it, and you've been telling us a lot about how much fun
you're having with all the wacky augments, so it's going to be sticking around for a while
longer.
We're also working on a larger update to A-Renmehath that will come out and patched,
running six-thul three.
We'll be sure a bit more about that though when we get closer to the time.
Outside of the magic train.
Have always that game mode where there was a X-Reth, and if you killed X-Reth or something,
but like you ascended ascension, that one was crazy good.
We haven't done a change like this for anything in some regions, starting tomorrow.
Last year we were working on really addressing the game running behavior.
Yeah, things like inting and griefing,
and we had some other improvements to cut down on dodging and lobbing,
like from moving the ability to ban your allies,
hopped champion, or making it so that all the fill persists through dodges.
With another body worked at pairs with those two efforts,
lobby, hostage intervention.
mention. Right now, there isn't a good way for us to take immediate action on bad
actors who hold lobbies hostage by threatening to run it down or just to place
something that doesn't work. Either you or someone else is forced to dodge or you
have to play the game out which means more often than not it ends in a loss and
while the perpetrator gets punished and he gets an LP refunded your time has
end. So starting tomorrow in some regions, you'll be able to terminate lobbies
that help hostage by bad actors. We'll be running some tests on live
service, it's not a time-trip, you know, using your lobby reports to refine the system.
And we have high confidence and that's...

We're not going to explain exactly how this works, because we don't want to say bad actors
to try and find ways around the system, but we are going to look at the variety of triggers.

season. 2025 was a historic year for us filled with unforgettable storylines, big changes

to T1 who made history by becoming the first team ever to win three consecutive world championships.
What an unbelievable accomplishment for them and for all the fans who followed their journey.
Now, as we turn the page to New Year, we're ready to kick off another incredible season,
one that builds on everything we've learned, celebrates our global community,
pull Kimberch, he's pushing Lolliesports for.
Pull Kimberch, let's dive into what's ahead for
2026.
It's a very neat update, shaping the future of Lolliesports.
And what better way to begin the season than with our first global event of the year,
first stand, first stand in Brazil.
March 16th to the 22nd.
That's a Mugur thing.
First stand to South Palo, Brazil at the Riot Games Arena.
Brazil has always been home to some of the most passionate fans in the world,
and we couldn't be more excited to bring this event to the heart of CBI Law Control
as well.
What the LCS and CBI Law Control is in the third-party leagues during the competition
will now feature eight teams battling for early season dominance and regional pride.
We'll be welcoming two teams from the LCK, two from the LPL and one each from the LEC,
the LCS, CBI Law Control will be all right up.
Every match will be best of five which means more games, more silver scrapes and more opportunities
I think the MSI format from this year was pretty good.
We need to keep that on creativity under pressure.
And that's just the beginning of what's ahead for our 2026 global events.

we've decided to decouple side selection and draft order for a new approach
we're calling first selection.
Here's OutWorks.
Teams who previously have the right of side selection will now have the right
of first selection.
That means they can choose either which side to play on.
We're red or we're sorry for them.
Whether to pick first or second in the draft,
when that choice is made up,
the opponent can choose the other.
So if teammate chooses to play on blue side,
team B gets to decide whether they're going to draft first or second.
Or if team A chooses to draft first,
then team B gets to decide.
That's why the side, they'll play on.
That's quite good.
That's the coupling is protein's more strategic flexibility
to shape their approach based on their comfort,
their preparation, their opponent's scouting, whatever.
Definitely a little bit better than having
But it's an advantage that is tied to color.
And they're all here as simple.
We want to empower teams to make meaningful choices.
I mean, I reflect this.
I can tell you from my opinion, at least,
draft selection will be the number one choice.
The side itself is obviously less impactful.
So people will choose their favorite side.
And then I think the side of the game itself
from your playing from it's kind of personal preference.
Red side, it's easier to do drakes.
Blue side, it's easier to contest Nash.

So I actually don't know which side people
will choose mid-year, red sides a bit easier.

through competitive decision-making

We consider this a minor but targeted update.

often asked if we're going to make League of Legends two someday.
And the answer to that has been, and remains, no.
But we've always been committed to constantly improving it in update, but from new
game modes and channeling updates, it's balancing the game every other week and so on.
There are some things though, but do make them both sense as part of a larger bundle of
changes.
With that in mind, we've been working on some bigger updates to League.
We're not quite ready to show you where we're working progress.
It's come along low, but it's just not ready for a first look yet.
We want to tell you about some of those things that, at this point, the majority of the
lead team are now working on.
So, for starters, we're making a brand new around-game client, let's fully integrate it
with the end-game experience, rather than being a separate application like today.
We're also revamping Summary's Rift, but entirely new VGM has been going to do gameplay.
Plus some changes to Runes, and how to run.
We've got that freaking Rusty Spanner's out of the work, overhauling the new player experience,
So that once we're done, it should be the best time ever to get your friends in the league.
You can play with it every time.
It's a bit more of a sub-date than we've mentioned here, and we'll have more to share sometime
later this year between MSI and Worlds.
Until then, we'll still, of course, have regular day of updates on everything else going on.
Your love and dedication to league is what drives us to make this game better.

Homeguards are broken, but if you enter the jungle, you will lose the homeguards.
So if you're running to top mid, but run to that lane, you also get homeguards up until
your tier one tower.

Crystal lines, they crystallize on the tower. You should always try and hit the crystal.
Demolishes have been changed. Game starts earlier. Tarrates are a bit tankier. If you have five players
and you have a support, you don't know damage to towers. Don't go near the tower. You're just giving it like 40 armor for free
and it's just making it harder to take. Just fucking stand next to your team at the back.
Next is towers respawn now, but they only respawn at half-health. Minion waves are faster.
they come quicker and on cannon waves there's one fewer melee after 14 minutes and then at 30 minutes
the wave spawned five seconds faster with one fewer casts in minion on the wave. Casio can now buy boots
you can buy boots on Casio pop champ Casio gets extra adapted force based on her bonus
move speed so a lot of casios will rush boots of swiftness first item. All the 80 carries are
nerfed on crit because they put crit to 200% now so all the crit 80 carries are getting a
small tune at some of it getting changed. But I think the most important thing for AD Carry
buffs is there's an item called Essence Reaver, which now has an old spellblade back on it.
GP will also like that maybe, but you can see already in the Korean server who have had 12 hours
of solo queue already. You can see that for example in Korea, AD Carry, Lucian's win rate is
pretty decent. If you do all ranks it's top two. So Essence River quite nice item I would say
all the crit chance have been adjusted. There's some other changes that I'm not going to go through
because I'm going to go through quick calls, all the 80 carry stuff, shackle changes, all this stuff.
Garan is in the fucking toilet butoey that champ is completely fucking dead.

Yeah, decent on a sentence, bastion breakers are interesting, I haven't seen it much yet,
but basically when you get a kill, you get a buff for 90 seconds, or if you hit a tower
or an epic monster, you do fuck tons of damage to it.
I haven't seen it, but it's probably good in solo queue.
Actualizer, I haven't seen this anywhere, I don't think it's good.
Only champ that it comes to mind to build it on his rise, but you're going to row
and arcangels, and then this, I don't think it's right.
This item is okay on champs like Caitlyn.
I just don't think it's a good item personally.
And you basically get extra attack range.

Bhandle pipes, I think it's super broken, especially if you're ahead.
Basically, if you slow someone or you immobilize them, you give your team a
attack speed in an area around you.
So, support item very good on champs like Nautilus and Bard and Shit's Protoplasm Harness is super OP as well, also a great support item if you're a tank, basically it's an Alistar route.
Kind of if you go below 30% health you get 200 max health and you heal the 200s for an health and get 200 base on your armor and your armor and you get increased size and move speed and honesty.
Quite a nice item.

arena, stuff like that, so it's like really good in solo. You probably storm Razor,
pretty dark shit, haven't seen it much. Not that big of a fan. The old storm Razor, I think,
when it was really broken, I can't remember very well, but storm Razor was really opion, like
Caitlyn first item, when it slowed, when you auto-effect someone and it slowed.
Couple changes, some of the tank items they're getting changed, any big ones, as far as I'm
aware, the main one I think is essence, really, I think, because it builds out of Sheennell.
And I just think stats-wise, this is great.
Redemption now builds out of AP, so it'd be really careful if you're playing like Karma or Nami or whatever in your Russian Redemption,
because you're basically building Finnish codecs and forbidden idols, so you're going to get one shot.
I don't think Redemption's a good first item anymore.
Zix is decent, gives you 50 abilities now.
What else is important? These are just cost adjustments in small tweaks to AD.
BF is pretty expensive now.
A-guess of valor is quite OP.
If you're auto-filled and you play the game and you get a mastery of C or above, you don't use LP and if you win you get double LP so if you're auto-filled make sure you lock the fuck in.

You can duo in Challenger now, but D1 can duo with Challenger, which is really weird to me.
I think that could be a bit abused. Back in the days in like season six there was players who played
Calista and they had a support Blitzkrank and they played like Calista Blitz and one person was D1 and
the other person was Challenger and then they would duo and then other guy would like go on back on when
they go promoted to Master he would like intentionally feed like seven games in a row to go back to
the D1's are all being what they do again and the challenge of guys fucking
braiding was just skyrocketing. Swiftplay arena. Yeah that's pretty much it.
There's definitely more stuff that I think go through I'm just touching on like the
the basic stuff. But I would keep your eyes on the win rates of champs because I
think that you'll see top lane fighters are broken. E-Relia, I'm guessing kale's good
because of gunblade and you get lots of levels.
Chase, Canon, Rumble, yeah, makes sense.
Jungle's gonna be power clears, yeah,
nearly echo-style as characters,

AD is in like, essence river champs or crit champs.

But yeah, I feel like top laners are going to play with Ignite every game, so you
should probably match it.
I think if you play TP on top and solo queue, you're probably just going to struggle.

want you to the ground and just fight to the death. Darius, Riven, Cannon, Jace, Rumble,
I earlier, Olaf, Champs, he just run you to fuck down. I think Aurora tops probably
good. But yeah, good luck on your climb team. I think the meta will take a while to figure
