[00:10:37] this playstyle.

[00:10:38] Is it as easy how it looks?

[00:10:43] But the thing about this game is you don't have to play it this way.

[00:10:45] You could play it like this, if you wanted to.

[00:10:48] Which is basically like traditional Nio.

[00:10:51] So it's kind of up to you however you want to do it, so this would be much more light.

[00:11:05] Much slower, much more tactical, your switching stances, your key pulsing, so I mean it kind

[00:11:10] of, and don't get me wrong, we've still died to bosses on this mode.

[00:11:13] It's not super easy, but it is a much more intuitive, easier way to play an action game

[00:11:19] in Ninja mode.

[00:11:20] Ninja mode is the mode that we're used to in games like this, especially like more

[00:11:25] actiony kind of like ninja guide me types of games. So it's far more

[00:11:29] intuitive than like the stance dancing key pulsing that Neo is kind of known for.

[00:11:33] So they kind of gave us both. In this in Neo 3 they said if you like that kind of

[00:11:41] traditional Neo style then you samurai. And if you want a more actiony

[00:11:45] accessible style use Ninja.

[00:11:50] Yeah.

[00:11:51] And the real masters will probably use both.

[00:11:56] And be really good.

[00:12:00] But no, I kind of decided at the beginning I wanted to do a ninja gameplay,

[00:12:03] which is why I'm kind of doing the whole game as ninja.

[00:12:05] But there's a very good chance I'm going to go back through this game as samurai.

[00:12:12] And I played EO2 like four times.

[00:12:15] And I could play it again too.

[00:12:17] It's awesome.

[00:12:20] And what's really cool about playing Samurai is you get like all new weapons to all completely

[00:12:26] different skills.

[00:12:27] You're using skill points that you didn't really use.

[00:13:49] It's more it's got two different dodges one of them's offensive like yeah, ninja ninja is completely different

[00:15:32] the 24 hour co-community. And so far they are all doing awesome for every one of them has been great.

[00:16:08] I will say that NEO games, especially with the key pulsing instances, have always been

[00:16:11] far more action-y than I'm considered souls-like.

[00:16:15] So it's kind of its own smaller thing.

[00:16:19] Souls-like has some specific traits about it that are kind of like what makes them a

[00:16:25] souls-like, like the slower tactical combat, the higher TCK, and stuff like that.

[00:16:33] So NEO doesn't have a lot of what makes a traditional souls-like a souls-like.

[00:16:37] It's far more action-y, it's far more combo-y, it doesn't really have that same vibe.

[00:16:43] There are a lot of similarities, but there's also a lot of differences.

[00:16:48] And the Souls-like name is already a sub-genre, so it's kind of weird like jamming a game

[00:16:52] like this into a sub-genre when the sub-genre is specifically there to differentiate those

[00:16:56] games from the pack, and this is way more like the pack than the sub-genre.

[00:21:19] show where it's just gone it's straight way away from that and instead gone for

[00:21:22] like the cheap reveal or or you know like there's so many decisions that could

[00:21:27] have been done in my opinion a lot better to make it more fall out and a lot

[00:21:32] less Hollywood and yeah I think the ending kind of like really

[00:21:37] exacerbated that for me. Like the sequence of events that happened at

[00:21:42] the end were just so like stupidly timed where it's just like this would never
