[07:05:19] Probably sitting out about 25k subs on YouTube and 30 consistent viewers on Twitch doing variety content but I struggled to pass that point.

[07:05:33] man. And first of all, thank you very much for that. Um, so what I would say in your case

[07:05:40] is first of all, you've already clearly established a foundation. You clearly have something that

[07:05:44] people want to see. Um, so that's, that's something that you always want to fine tune

[07:05:49] throughout your career, especially when it comes to like your core, like constantly

[07:05:55] checking with them and seeing what they want to make sure that they're getting everything

[07:05:58] anyone is important. But what I will say is these days, unlike when I started streaming,

[07:06:06] one of the best possible ways to really get your stream out there is multi-broadcasting.

[07:06:12] So if you are not doing that, I would be thinking about how to do that and doing that properly

[07:06:18] as soon as possible. A good way to think about multi-broadcasting is you're fishing.

[07:06:23] So every time you start up a stream on a different platform, you're sending your

[07:06:27] content into that platform and you're seeing if there's anyone there that is

[07:06:30] attracted to it. It's good to have a home base, like my home base is Twitch, by

[07:06:35] choice, but that's my home base these days. So anytime people watch me

[07:06:38] anywhere, I'm kind of like, you know, come to Twitch if you want to chat, I'm

[07:06:41] live every day on Twitch at 8 a.m. that kind of thing. So it's, it's, there's

[07:06:47] lots of tips that I can give like they're more specialized, but these

[07:06:52] days like that's all, that's such a big shortcut is being able to do that.

[07:06:56] Like I've been going really hard on on tiktok and YouTube shorts and honestly

[07:07:02] That's one of the reasons I'm I'm still somewhat relevant these days after 12 years

[07:07:07] So it's it's been a it's been a real nice boom so I'm for new broadcasters like that would have been something

[07:07:42] its bottom line and does not mind screwing its broadcasters or just completely destroying any

[07:07:47] connection or or you know credibility that it's earned with them to make that bottom line

[07:07:53] get met. So my dream platform would probably be a new platform that has a very creator-centric board

[07:08:00] and that has goals that pertain to the quality of the content, not just the quantity, which is

[07:08:06] what Twitch has become. Yeah, it's all about quality over quantity. And Twitch has become a

[07:08:13] quantity over quality platform. So the platform that I'd like to go to doesn't really exist

[07:08:21] because the platform I'd want to go to would have to be

[07:08:26] creator centric, but also relevant enough to support what I do.

[07:08:30] And that just doesn't exist.

[07:08:32] For that to exist, you would have to get a lot of big names in the industry together.

[07:08:35] They would have to decide behind closed doors to put in real resources.

[07:08:40] You'd have to find a very good way to facilitate all that

[07:08:44] because it would cost a lot of money to get started.

[07:08:46] And then you'd have to find a team that is good at meeting with

[07:08:49] I mean we can talk for hours about this but like it's it's I wouldn't count on it any

[07:14:17] Everyone nowadays seems like they want to split off early if they do even one to two different

[07:14:24] So the multiple YouTube channel thing has been around since before, like that's been around

[07:14:29] since when I started 12 years, because I was wondering right at the beginning, like how

[07:14:32] that worked on Twitch and stuff, I remember that vividly.

[07:14:36] It makes sense depending on the type of content the channels are providing.

[07:14:43] I have tried second channels in the past that have failed.

[07:14:47] So for the long time people that remember, I think I tried two different second channels

[07:14:53] before my current one actually worked, which is working great.

[07:14:57] So I have a channel that does long form content on YouTube, and that is the Co-Karnage channel.

[07:15:03] And that one caters to people that want to set up a playthrough, get in bed, and just

[07:15:08] not touch their controller for a long time.

[07:15:12] Like that's awesome, and that's great for that.

[07:15:14] That channel serves that purpose, and people go to that channel to know, to get that

[07:15:18] kind of content.

[07:15:19] On the flip side, my other channel, Morco, that channel is curated and the videos on it

[07:15:25] are made by a YouTube-centric editing team.

[07:15:29] Those videos feature quick edits, lots of information quickly, frequently we'll have

[07:15:33] content that isn't mine to back up whatever I'm saying.

[07:15:38] That is a different type of content.

[07:15:41] And because of that, and we know this because I've tested it, if you try to

[07:15:44] put both those on the same channel, neither of them really take.

[07:15:49] And what you'll end up seeing is all of the comments will start becoming people that are

[07:15:53] trying to argue which one is better.

[07:15:55] Like it just gets messy.

[07:15:56] It gets messy.

[07:15:58] So when people do different channels on YouTube, a lot of times if they're doing it, I will

[07:16:03] say they're doing it properly, it's catering to different audiences and it's different

[07:16:08] types of content for different groups.

[07:16:11] So it becomes a lot easier to like, YouTube doesn't give you any tools for saying,

[07:16:18] for sorting your videos. Like, for instance, if I could, if I could go on my

[07:16:22] co-carnish channel and I could separate, like, to have different

[07:16:25] notification queues, and I could have one notification queue for long form and

[07:16:30] one notification queue for short form, and you could, like, pick which ones you

[07:16:34] want to see from the channel, I probably wouldn't have two channels.

[07:16:39] But because that's not how it works, if you do that, you start seeing all

[07:16:43] sorts of negatives. People complaining that stuff on their

[07:16:45] feed isn't what they want. People complaining their feed is getting flooded because multiple

[07:16:49] types of content is going on it. It's just a mess. It's a mess. So my advice, if you

[07:16:55] are doing multiple types of content, you do need to build up a single channel foundation.

[07:17:01] I don't think I've ever seen anyone become successful with multiple channels to start

[07:17:06] with. It's just too much delusion. There's not enough people to make the ecosystems viable.

[07:17:11] So make your strong base channel, the one you always know is going to work.

[07:17:16] That one is co-carnage for me.

[07:17:18] And once you get to kind of a critical mass and want to start experimenting, consult with

[07:17:23] your community and work with them to figure out what's best for you in the channel.

[07:17:28] Because remember to keep in mind, I feel like the best creators are ones that fully

[07:17:34] implement their community in, I mean, if you think about it, creators are making

[07:17:38] the content, but the community is watching it.

[07:17:39] If the community's not there, the content's useless.

[07:17:43] If people aren't watching it, there are millions of channels

[07:17:47] on YouTube that have no views.

[07:17:49] And if you don't have the community part of your channel,

[07:17:52] you're just one of those channels.
