Yo yo yo how we doing everybody good to see you welcome to an action packed day
Here on the channel
We're starting with a little bit of Valheim that we're gonna play a little bit of Don Walker
Then we're taking a little bit of a break then we're playing a little bit of no man's sky then a bit more to break and
then some
Probably a mission in Star Wars your company and then some stalker too. That's the plan. I'm gonna see if it goes that way
That's the plan
So it's gonna be fun we have lots to do lots of games today
We did a little bit more last night. I did go ahead and put some mods in for quick stack and craft from storage
And I do not regret it for a second
You could find those mods in the
Mods command if you're interested in what those are
Yeah, so what we did last night was we got more copper we did build our first little boat and to sail up and down the coast
It was a terrible experience where the game was doing everything that's powered to the story with ways
But we got through and we got some other stuff
So, we're gonna...good shot.
Alright, let's sort all that.
I'm gonna pop that in there for now.
We got a lot of popper bars, but we need a lot more tin.
It's actually a tin run right now.
Get ourselves some tin.
Actually, you know what? Let's take our boat.
We're gonna take our boat and we're gonna fill up our hull.
Then after that, once we get some tin going, I think at that point we're ready to start
looking for the boss.
We're gonna start sailing around and doing some, uh, exploring.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm
Early I'm taking this boat with me as well
All right, so I know that we can get some tin on the left and right of this area.
We have a copper no down here that we can get.
We've got a lot of copper right now.
So we're just going to kind of focus on filling this boat with tin real quick, get it back
and get in the process.
film this boat with tin real quick, get it back and get in the process.
Forget all that's working for me, you can go out and use some, uh, use some scoring.
There goes any tin on this side, I think that's the end of the black forest biomem.
Here we go, we got some right here, so here we go ahead and park, right on the side.
Oh, I didn't repair my axe.
Coz I'm not playing this game the flaggin' of hail, I mean it's 7.30 in the morning.
I thought that might be a little aggressive, but I'm not yucking your young or anything.
Okay, let's stash this in the ship.
Oh, wait, if these are bores, then we're back in Metals here.
Divorce? Divorce spawn in the Black Forest? I don't think so, right?
That's it. Yeah, meadows. There's a little bit in the meadows right there. That's what it was.
Okay, let's go down the coast some more.
There's probably going to be a bit of a walk before we see any more since a meadow's biome is in this little part here.
Do mods turn off achievements? I mean, probably.
Cat was saying they might last night.
Something to consider if you care about that.
Hey, Reddoppy.
Did I prepare the boat from last night, Crackjack?
I think so.
Yeah.
Well, it's not green, so that's good.
We've got a workbench up here we can pull up on, as well.
Get it all fixed up.
It's a little risky biscuit, but if the wind is good, we may just go ahead and ride this, uh, around the outside of the island.
Let's go ahead and carry it up.
Is there any tin here?
No. This is a bit of a copper node, but we're gonna leave that for now.
Load up.
BAM!
Do I see a VIP?
Do you then, stop it?
Hey, listen pretty much, what's up, buddy?
Did you manage to get the boat?
Oh, do you manage to get the boat from last night's adventure?
Yes, we did.
We did get our boat finally.
It was a bit of a thing, but we did get it.
We did.
Yeah, that was a man.
We're right when we landed on this island last night.
I kid you not, I'm not embellishing it all here.
We land on this island and I'm just chilling, talking to chat.
And I turn around and there are four to five of the blue
Dudes one of the green eye dudes a brute, which is a giant one into the first time you've seen this entire ass run
And a troll and they're all bum rushing me like I stole their lunch money
And I'm sit. I'm staring at this like
What what what what like what am I supposed to do?
Um, like oh my god, and they and they not only like proceeded to wreck me, but then proceeded to wreck me like numerous times
They saw to that yeah, oh and then later we got a bear because I mean at that point he was just coming to eat the
carrion from all the corpses. I'm sure it was spanking up the place. Oh my lord.
But we didn't end up getting a lot done which is great. So we got a whole bunch of copper we did get through it
Ended up killing me the troll which was great
Yeah
Overall could have been worse
All right, let's grab this tin over here, and honestly, you know what I think I might
do?
I might keep her kind of at the end of this little place anyway, and we just repaired
our boat.
I think we may sail around the island on our way home.
Not only would that be super fun, oh, we also got to build our cultivator this morning.
last night for the first time. We got to harvest some trees to drop forward.
Yeah, we need to start going too.
So much to do, chat so much.
Great, almost two full stacks of tin so far.
Looking good looking good driven more tin down here probably not scripted one of the meadows. Oh, yeah
That kill the second boss yet. No, no, we haven't even found the second boss man. I saw a roll over there
I rested for three minutes
Oh God.
Yeah, that's right!
All right, man.
I think we had two perfect carries on him, which is the only reason we didn't get absolutely wrecked.
Okay, let's get these carrot seeds, because we're going to need a lot of these soon.
I'm going to ignore that tin near the pole for now.
Let's see if we can get another stack or two down here, and then we'll head back to the boat and go down the...
Go down the shore a little bit.
Hey, give us a senior one-tie, buddy.
That's one point. How's it going? It's going great overall, man. I'm having a great time coming back to Valheim.
Especially since I bit the bullet and finally got a couple mods that I've kind of been wanting my whole life in this game.
And, uh, oh, it feels so good, dude. It really does.
Perhaps it's time for that fine wood bow you left last night. Yes, I need more core wood.
Which I'm pretty sure comes off those. Comes off the pines, right?
Like is it these fur comes off the fur
Nice.
No, it's not on first.
Pines, it is pines. OK.
Cool.
If you can bring back a stack of four with them, probably the best.
It's not, it's not those, it's those right there.
Can I finish Donalocker?
Nope, we're gonna continue Donalocker probably around 9.30.10 today.
I'm very excited to go to the Uriashi Blacksmith and then start working on the next Empire
Lord.
Actually, we're probably gonna do the Uriashi Blacksmith and then look for the, well I actually
I want to spoil it, in case people walk in and don't spoil it, but we're going to be doing stuff in the main town today.
Yeah, Star Wars XCOM had nothing to 1.1.
I heard there were some good fixes, including one that we might have bumped into later in
the game, so I am very glad to hear that it updated.
One of the very minor and small benefits of us playing games over long term is that thankfully
we get some patches after the release, which is not a normal thing for us since we normally
blast through games before the first patch. So I'll take it. It's a nice change of pace.
It's a nice change of pace.
Do I finish Star Wars? Do I plan to finish Star Wars? Yes, I do. I think I plan to finish Star
Wars. I think it's going to go slow and I think it's going to take a lot of time. But like,
I'm liking the story. I'm liking the characters the game plays a good time
I think it's just gonna be one of those games that I kind of chunk us in the background until it's done
Yep, just do a mission here and there
It's very comfy game. I don't know why it's very comfy. Yeah
I mean, it has something to do with the fact that it's like a tactical game that this is you like
It feels like gives you more options, which I really like
I don't feel nearly as restricted as I generally do in X-Palm, or let me put it this way.
It's not as hard to get yourself in bad situations due to your own lack of strategery.
I like that about it, yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
get off of my boat you dumb boar sir oh shoot it's a boat green look at this alright we're
just gonna sail home am I sailing home I mean we're gonna sail around this island first
I really need to see if we can find an altar for this second boss.
It's been so long since I've played this game, I don't even remember what the waypoints
that's what I'm looking for to look like.
So we're just going to look for anything that looks out of the ordinary.
Oh, this is Meadow on this side.
Oh, shoot, I thought this was all black forest.
Oh, that's a bummer.
Around this island, two hours later.
Oh, God, that was a continent.
Wouldn't be the first time in this game.
Yeah, one for the first time.
And that happened multiple times in our last runs.
I'm sure that it'll only take 15 minutes.
I don't look super tidy from here.
And you're looking at like the peninsula of Florida.
You're just looking at the very tip of Florida.
And you're like, oh yeah, I'm sure it'll only take a second
to get around that little island over there.
3 3 and a half weeks later, and we're still in meadows here. We do have, we've got a
biome across the ocean we can go to, but I still want to, I want to see what our
or our content looks like here.
Our goal is back here.
We're going to sail.
We'll do a little trimmery while we do it.
Wee bit of trimmery!
Was that a mountain over there?
Could we have a mountain biome on our island?
Oh, we do, because we found some snow over here, didn't we?
Like over...
Oh, no, that was down here!
Oh, God.
Okay.
Okay, that looks like a black horse over there, that could be a horse.
Is that a horse?
Oh, it's a deer.
Right?
It looked black.
I don't know if there's a black one. Maybe there are in other places.
I did add like 40 new monsters, so...
I don't want to get too far from the coast while we attack here.
Okay.
And here, the wind, right where we need it right now.
Okay, looks like we're getting back into a Black Forest region, which is great, uh-oh.
Oh, here we go.
Ooh, okay.
Keep on working with that for a little bit.
Yep, now we're back into Black Forest region.
Awesome.
See a little ruins right there, but we're going to stop for that.
Oh, word.
Now.
Oh, god.
Pirate incoming!
Coming to invade our boat!
Alright, we'll have to speak out of here a bit.
Now, I'm broke throwing rocks at my ass.
I guess that's when we know you've made it, right?
All right.
We're just going to have to kind of scooch down this area a little bit.
I don't see anything too interesting back there.
Dragon.
Please forward to, Acoustic Morphical,
Pull from storage, mods and found a duplication double drain bug.
Having both Valheim storage and no Viking active makes them pull 2x mats per build instead
of prioritizing one, e.g., building one wood pile pulls mats twice.
Test to reproduce.
Put a bunch of wood in a chest, two piles or more, and build a wood pile.
fix, keep Valheim storage active and disable the storage function in no viking.
Dude, good, fine.
So you're saying that because we're using two mods that are doing the same thing,
they're overlapping. Now, wait a second.
I thought the entire point of us putting on no viking was because Valheim
storage didn't have that functionality.
So I'm confused. Why do why do we even have the second the second mod?
Okay, we're gonna look into that as soon as we get back.
Okay.
Valheim storage does have that functionality as well.
So, what was the point of view?
Oh, for the deposit all?
Wait a second, wait a second.
So, can Valheim storage do deposit all as well?
Can Valheim storage do both?
Which one of them is doing both?
I want to use that one.
them as doing both.
So we just need to figure out which one that is and turn off the other one.
Oh here we go, here we go, hold on.
This is the guy that suggested the mods.
At toy carnage, I suggested no viking because it had crapped from storage before Valheim
Storage was introduced.
Valheim Storage was for quick stack, I did not know that Valheim Storage had crapped
from storage when I suggested it, sorry.
Oh!
Use Valheim Storage.
Oh great!
We just completely turn off. No Viking left behind. Okay. Okay.
Thank you. That sounds perfect. Um, so wait, on that note,
I did see that that craft from chest has this like range stuff.
Can we adjust that in the other mod? And how do we do that? Because it doesn't have like a thing.
Can we do that in the mod of like the I and I files and stuff?
We'll check this out. Thank you so much for that guys. I really appreciate it.
Oh god, I did a lot of building last night. I wonder how many resources I wasted.
Oh well, whatever.
Whatever!
Oh lord, wait, you found something.
Is this a...
Is this a river that's not a river?
That is not a river.
Oh god, I have made a huge mistake.
Okay, nope, that's not a river.
Right.
Okay, let's make sure that actually stops.
Am I chasing achievements?
No, not at all.
I think we're good. Yeah, Lamers, I wonder where half my cores went. Oh, no, you lost
cores. Oh, bro, that's terrible. Okay, so Lamers, do you know how we can adjust the range
behind storage. Why don't I care about achievements anymore? Because here's the thing, when I was
younger achievements were pretty awesome because if I was talking to someone or buddies or guildies
I could be like go look at my profile look at all the stuff I've done. I'm a streamer now.
If I want somebody to see something I've done I can go watch it on my YouTube. I did it there.
Go watch me do the thing. It's all recorded so I don't care about achievements.
Like, they had a place for me at one point, but I don't- not that I ever do that, but if I wanted to, I could.
Yeah.
The only time I really ever cared about achievements was back when I worked at my IT job.
We did actually have this, like, kind of fun group of people at, uh, at the place I worked that played Xbox.
So, they had, like, this little group of people that- achievement hunted together.
Like, they all, like, would try to beat each other's achievements and stuff like that.
And it was kind of a joke, because I mean, they would buy games specifically that had super easy to get achievements.
Like, there were these groups of games on Xbox that would have like a thousand achievement points,
but you'd get like all thousand points in the first ten minutes.
So like, it was a meme in this group, whenever somebody got extra money, they'd buy one of those games,
and they'd just jack their score up the next day and be like,
I'm in the lead now, and they'd be like, what? You bought Avatar?
And it's like, it was a whole thing.
But I mean that's the only time I've ever really cared about achievements, like it was just for fun in that friendship, yeah.
They don't really do it for me, they're, I mean they're kind of fun. Some of the achievements I remember back in the day were cool to have.
Like I do remember there was an achievement in Call of Duty called Mile High Club, and that was to do this certain level
at this obscenely fast stupidly like low time and survive and took me hours to get that achievement and
And that was one achievement where there was like a period of time when we'd be like you have the mahogany
You have the mahogany
You don't you should go work on that
Yeah you should go work on that
Got to put it
Dude!
Whoa!
Okay, this did turn out to be a bit bigger than we were expecting.
I don't think we found a river yet.
I'm surprised this isn't bicep did it.
This was a huge area.
Oh wait, maybe that's a river there?
Is that a river inlet?
Maybe.
What is that?
That's a little house.
Oh, that's probably a little dungeon in there.
Oh god, that's a rock there, isn't it?
Oh, nice.
Jack, you are holy.
Alright, where are you going this way?
Dude, I just hit the one tree in the middle of the parking lot.
David.
Oh god, the screen guy's coming over to give me a business too.
That was my rock!
What's your insurance?
Give me your insurance number!
Where's your card?
Ah, sorry sir.
I didn't see you there.
That was my rock. What's your insurance? Give me your insurance number. Where's your card?
Oh, sorry, sir. I didn't see you there.
What are we doing tomorrow morning? We're playing the Emberville Prologue demo tomorrow morning.
There's a ship right there. And I'm pretty pumped about that, to be honest, man. It's gonna be fun.
Tomorrow is- there's gonna be a lot of things that I've never seen before tomorrow.
tomorrow. So like one of the things that I'm going to be seeing tomorrow morning for the
first time is every time I've been doing testing and all the demos that I've played I've always
fast forwarded to all the readable lore. I've not read any of it so I'm going to be like
actually going through it for the first time on Street of Tomorrow Morning. Exploring all
the dialogue options with the voice characters, I haven't done that yet, we're going to do
that tomorrow morning too. So it's going to be one of the first times like I've played
built in full as I would this game normally because I've been on a blackout for the roller
So it's gonna be fun excited
It's gonna be public tomorrow. No, so tomorrow what's happening is tomorrow the press and a bunch of we've given it a bunch of early keys
to creators pretty much anyone who asked me hooked up with a key and
From the 11th through the 14th
The press and creators can stream and play that game for three days
And that is an early
Dem as an early look at the demo you're gonna get for free before yeah, which is coming out in the
Steam next best that is prior to
Early access what is going on over here? Is it just like a spawning portal? What is this thing?
Is this part of the box?
Oh, shit.
Don't take way more than this.
Do I need that for the boss, don't I?
Oh my lord, it's been a long time.
Am I using 2x resources? I am.
Oh, here we go.
Great.
Okay, as soon as we get back to town, we'll get all this stuff in step.
Perfect.
No stalker today, I'd like to do some stalker for the cozy tonight if I make it back for cozy
Do a mission of XZ comm and then
Some stalker write a really good point in stock or two. I think we're just wrapping up surcha
With that 10 bomb, thank you
Did I give out a bunch of keys for the the prologue I didn't really send out many keys
at all for the prologue in this weekend it's only up for three days so pretty much everything
this weekend was done three ball and and anyone who signed up to evolve like I didn't I didn't
like send keys to all my buddies and be like prologue on my weekend I am gonna do that
for EA so when we get close to EA I'm planning on contacting a lot of creators and just giving
I'm a free key and you know fate here's my game if you want to play it but that's
gonna I'm not gonna do that for the demo system how much wood do I have 32 I should
probably play with safety repair this boat we just went through that's up when
we get to a point we can kind of easily duck in and make a bench here's another
Look at those bridgewalks. Let's just be back.
Here we go.
You know what? Let's get this water here.
This is why we're here anyway, right? Let's go.
Minepeach says, hey, stream it on the cozy this evening. What is the cozy?
Oh, the cozy stream on this channel is...
If I am able to get back for an evening stream, we call it the cozy stream.
Um, because I generally just play whatever games I want.
I'm very... It's right before I go to bed, so I'm going to chill. It's a very cozy experience.
Yep.
But the cozy stream is just the extra stream in the evening if I have time.
And frequently because I have three small kids, I have a nine-year-old, seven-year-old,
and a five-year-old, all boys.
And I help with them in the evenings.
So sometimes I'm able to make it on if things go smoothly, and sometimes they don't.
So that's how that works.
We do what we can in the cozy.
Okay, we are pretty much good here.
I want to get that green dwarf thing over there.
And we're back to almost there.
It's okay to just kill these things, alright? I'm not missing out on just murderizing these
things I like. How fun is this game solo? Oh it's great! I'm having a great time
this solo. Yeah, just murderize him. Okay good. There is no chest here.
Alright, where to keep moving.
Let's back it up a little bit instead of trying to go through those rocks right there.
That would probably be the end of our little boat.
Dude, once we get back to town, this is going to be amazing.
We have so much tin and currently we're processing a ton of copper, so I think not only will
we be able to get all this stuff done, but once we get everything processed, we can get
all of our armor ranked up and then at that point we just got to go find the Black Forest
box, which I don't remember how to do, so that might be a thing. I think we're just
gonna like to run around in here maybe and see if we can...
...may it look down that way.
Yeah, we're gonna get back to base and get everything processing, then we're gonna
get the mod stuff, big stuff, and we're gonna make absolutely sure it's working
how we anticipated it.
Is that a bigger one than normal?
No.
No.
Hold on.
Hmm.
I just took my rocks down.
Good.
Oh.
I don't know about this.
Ummmm...
It'd be real unfortunate to die out here, wouldn't it?
Please don't throw a rock at me.
I should have eaten my bear move.
I would have been real smart.
We can try it.
I'll try it to one hit.
Got very amazing.
Okay, we're done.
We're done. I'm done. That's good. I'm fine.
We're fine.
We're fine. You know what? I don't need this. I don't need this.
I don't need this. We're good.
We're good. We're good. We're fine.
I don't need that. Nope. We're good.
I'll set. I'll set. Let's go. We're good.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Yeah.
You're lucky it doesn't come out of the cave. Yes. Yes, I am. Yes, I am. I would agree with that statement wholeheartedly.
I left the stove on. I need to go back to my base. Pardon me. That's right.
Right.
Obviously I would stay here and continue to- to- uh, to fist a cup with you, my- my control.
Um, but I must depart.
I mean, I've- I've worked and left my stove on, and, uh, it needs to be rectified.
Post-Haste! Post-Haste, yes.
Um...
Alright, so we need to kind of sail a little on that way.
I hate to say it, but I'm gonna say it into this area, I think.
Because we need to make sure that we don't have, like, a...
a vendor mark or something.
I think if we get close to the altar or the vendor,
doesn't it mark it on our map?
Do I remember that right?
Yeah, it does. Okay, so we just kind of need to keep sailing around until we get this thing marked.
So when we run through here, we'll like, we'll like come back here,
and then we'll make a little journey up to this tomb.
And that'll bisect this area.
And hopefully, if either of those things we need are in here somewhere,
then we'll get close enough with that place.
Alright, let's go ahead and grab this over here.
All these towers we've seen, man, I've seen so many of these towers, and I've seen one
of them that's had a red chest force, that's right.
Now you know what that's like, that looks...
Oh, I think this one might have one, maybe?
Let's see.
I'm going to have to build up here, aren't I?
Oh, maybe not.
Nice.
Oh.
Well darn.
Okay.
Not exactly what we're looking for here.
Oh, nope, nope, nope, nope, take the gold.
Definitely want the gold.
Okay.
Oh, we just have to sail around this little bit here and then I think we can go home.
Getting close.
Hey, Bones, see what's up, buddy.
Forty-five minutes later, maybe, man, you never know in this game, you never know.
Maybe it is going to be another forty-five minutes.
Dream sight.
I mean, I'm not going to say no.
Thanks for the super chat, but I wouldn't count on it, but I'm not going to say no.
Thank you for your shout out here to check
All right, we just right behind us. Oh man take advantage of this goodness
As soon as we can, we're going to make a hard left, which it looks like it's going to be
around the tip of that tree there, right on the right of our sail, unless we can find
an earlier lake, which I'm not sure I'm going to find, but we're an earlier lake, I'm sorry.
on this rock.
Alright.
A hard turn down here.
It's a hard turn down here.
Awesome.
Finally heading the right direction.
We'd love to see it.
There's super undone here.
This is just a Meadows biome, so we can kind of power through this.
We don't need to be necessarily next to the coast for this part.
I don't think there's much in Meadows we need in here.
We already have a couple deer summons in there.
Oh look, it's Deer Island.
Oh Deer.
Oh Deer and Bacon.
We're double-dipping, cat.
The cores in Meadows though?
Cores are in Black Forest.
We got the location for the boss in Black Forest.
He gets it in the Skeleton Dungeons.
Oh, why didn't he miss it in the dungeons?
Well, we have to do more dungeons, so we'll keep working on that.
That's one of the things we're actually going to do here in a second.
I forgot they got in the dungeons, so we will keep doing that for sure.
Now do we need to stay close to the coast here?
The wind has been generous, chap.
The wind is generous.
Who is the god of wind so I can thank them properly?
It wouldn't be Poseidon, right?
Poseidon's god of the sea, so I don't think you would thank him for giving in.
Maybe you would.
Maybe that is how that works.
Maybe you should say Poseidon in schools.
Yeah, he's like the god of the sea, that makes sense.
Although Poseidon is... yeah, I know that, that text.
Aelos? Aelos? Aelos?
I'll have to remember to thank you properly, as-as-
Pray to him as well.
Uh, better rock it, one.
You're wonderful, right?
Fully commit stall on a screen down for a liquid fire, and you do a connection to fire.
I don't think anything in Emberville requires an internet connection.
I'm gonna verify that for you.
I know we've talked about having some data tracking stuff and things, but that's just
to like track your, track player progress.
You can see like how many times a boss has been killed, how many times the players have
died.
But we weren't, I don't even know if we were putting that in EA.
That was something we were gonna put in later.
So I'll get you that answer, but I don't think so.
And that stuff is all opt out if you want to.
So it wouldn't, you could just opt out.
So I don't think so, but let me verify that for you.
There's no DRM right now.
So.
Yeah, I'm 90% sure not,
but I'm gonna check on the team right now
get you that uh... get you that info
uh... Raydras says we ever work again with John Smedley?
John Smedley?
uh... I haven't heard that name for a bit. I mean it would completely depend on the project.
um...
the thing about uh... John Smedley is he has worked on a lot of projects and
actually his last project is a good example of games that I just wouldn't
want to work on anyway because they're just not really my vibe, they're not really my
style.
So, I mean, the way that I would work with someone like John again would be if he approached
me with a project that was new and innovative, like Hero's song was, and then also could
absolutely confirm to me that it was fully funded to completion.
And if we had those two things, then I mean, potentially, but yeah, that's kind of how
I am with most developers.
I've gotten, okay, a little bit of real talk.
The last year has been kind of insane because a lot of devs have seen the Emberville stuff
and have since approached me with really lucrative offers on similar things.
A few of them have even been like, hey, you want to just make a game with us?
And that's that stuff's super cool, but like, I can't do any of that right now.
And it's, it's, it's, um, I have, especially after my previous game dev projects, I have
some pretty hardcore stipulations for that kind of thing.
So it, you're not going to see things like Emberville here often, like that was very
much a stars align thing.
And I will not be doing that again, unless the stars align kind of thing.
So that's not, that's not really in the cards right now.
I don't have time.
I just don't.
I don't want to half acid.
So I don't, I don't, I just don't have time.
But you know that's gonna open up once once the game slow down and
Depending on Emberville and my follow-up project success and all sorts of stuff
We'll see and my kids get over
All sorts of stuff there
But no like I'm trying to be very public about the fact like don't even bother approaching me about working on a game dev project unless it is
fully funded and and and you want me to have some semblance of creative
control because I'm not looking to just be a PR guy that's not what I'm doing
these days I'm looking to make games I'm not looking to just promote yours I do
that already with sponsored streams if you want to do that talk my man so yeah
if you're fully funded and have a great concept and want some of the that to
come in and help you make the game that's when you contact my man that's
That's when I might that's when we might be talking but outside of that like I've had a lot come through that alike
You'd like to have co on but we're gonna do we need him to promote our Kickstarter or we were hoping to use him to do a fund raise
And it's like no
Sorry, dude zero interest
Immediately not interested there. They're funny of creators that would that would be a phenomenal opportunity for them
But that is that is not
What is my management I've been I've been using one of funny enough one of live
streaming like first management companies it's called loaded and loaded has
been helping me out for a long time doing doing God's work
all right we're gonna try to hit home this is happening we're doing it yeah
This fog is crazy.
My lord, look at this.
All right, where'd he go? Here. Right there. Perfect.
All right, let's go.
Did Coastay, Emberville, and other projects?
Uh, no, you missed her.
I'm pretty sure your speakers bliped or aired out or something.
Yep.
Probably, uh, probably gnomes.
Pretty gnomes.
Probably probably these days.
I would keep your eyes out for gnomes.
Uh, Ryan!
Thank you for watching Jack, your dad is awesome and make sure you always listen to him.
He knows what he's talking about.
Now you've got to make sure you know what you're talking about, you're going to make
Okay, there we go, all right.
Almost there.
Oh, I love that you can see the flames through the night.
That's great.
Is that what is that? Is that our fortress?
Oh, it's our fires!
Let's go.
Please don't sink this ship with all the stuff that...
Okay, oh, we need to...let's fix this now.
Let's fix this now.
Alright, so first of all, um...
I'm gonna save.
I'm going to quit give me one second all right I'm going to uninstall no Viking left behind
okay I'm gonna go into storage by going into the config editor and I'm gonna look in org
I'm going to edit this config and I'm going to set top couple of lines that you define
the range.
We're going to do that.
Let's start at 80.
Disallow Types comma separate list fuel item prefabs named okay, so I I want
round log and fine wood to not be put into my my stuff perfect
when held or fuel ammo is pulled until the station is full instead of one of a
time. Hold left shift. Oh, left shift and left control. Left alt. Okay, cool. This
sounds awesome. I'm going to save that. And now let's let's try with this. And
theoretically, we're now going to have pull from storage, sort into storage, and
everything will work. Let's see if that's actually going to happen.
Countless eons ago.
Oh.
Make sure to also delete the cache file under Config Editor of the mods you de-install
carrot-carrot.
Okay, I will do that later.
Thank you.
Let's see if this works.
Let's have a drink together, buddy.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, mods, if we have it, if we could add to the thread in the mods command that I'm
using R2 mod, and if we could link on where—oh, it's already in there, perfect, okay, thanks.
Yeah, just make sure you read the thread in the mod—the mod command, and you'll see
everything you need to know about that.
Yep.
Okay.
So we still have stack. It works great.
We have pull.
It seems to be working fine.
I just held down shift and hit E.
And control and hit E.
And alt and hit E. And none of them put that all the way in.
I thought I was going to put it all the way in.
Okay, I didn't even read that right, but I think this is working and oh now we just
need to make sure it's working properly so the way that we do that is we go to
here and we see that we have let's see is that gonna be enough wood for a wood
file? Oh here we go okay it takes 30 copper to make a copper stack. Let's put
all of our copper in one area.
Why am I hitting one and it's not? Here we go.
Where is the rest of our copper?
Oh, it's all right here. Okay, there's 46 copper. There it is. All right here. Okay. So if I place
this, then when we go look in there, we should have 28 copper.
Yes, I'm going to go over here, and I'll break this down, and I'll pick it up, and I'll
go over here.
All right, we are working.
Perfect!
Thank you, Lemurs and Mods.
If we can please update the thread, just take out the no biking left behind, let's completely
ignore that Mod.
This Mod seemingly does everything I needed to do, and that is wonderful.
Awesome! Okay, great.
Thank you, mods. Thank you, lemurs, and chat for falling up on that.
Test-crafting at the craft bench. Still great for me.
Uh-oh.
Wait.
Oh, wait!
So it's not working?
It's not working.
God d- okay.
Maybe I need to be clear here.
Don't tell me stuff that doesn't work!
I'm just- oh my god guys.
Okay.
The whole point of what I was doing was I was trying to get it to work.
All right, um, so, so the craft from storage does not work.
Um, okay.
All right, um, so, can we do ambient sorting?
You know what I'm gonna do? I think I'm just not gonna worry about this until the modders get this working
Yeah, cuz I don't I don't want to wrestle with this. I just want to play the game
I think I'm just gonna let them fix this shit and we're just gonna
We're just gonna wait until this mod works or something. It works for building but not for crafting at the bench. Okay
Okay, so we're we're just gonna we're just gonna do that for now
We're just gonna only use it for building and when we build stuff. We'll just do it manually, okay?
As he says, no viking works perfectly fine. Does no viking do everything?
Does no viking do storing and...
Does no viking does everything this one does and it all works?
So out of curiosity, why are we not using
no viking
instead of this one?
If we use no biking, does it have the same problem?
Oh, no!
Okay, so the mod called nearby crafting works as no biking left behind also has that bug.
So it sounds like people are getting like mixed results. This isn't good.
I wonder, you know what I'm wondering? I wonder if people are having different results because some mods are working with like pre 1.0.
pre-1.0 worlds and some are working with new worlds.
Let's get in. Let's get in a thing.
OK.
All right, I'm going adventuring.
Adventuring we go
Yeah, guys don't don't even bother suggesting mods right now
I'm just gonna wait until we get like an up up up an
Actual solution and then I'm gonna do that. I don't want to just mess with mods on stream like I have been
I'm like in half an hour now. We're just messing stuff. I'm getting bad info and I'm just gonna do it myself later. Yeah
I'm very frustrated with that last part because the whole point I did all that work is because people said it worked
Just like I wanted it to and then I did it all and they're like, oh, by the way, it doesn't work how you want it to
Why did you let me do all that?
The whole point was that I'm wanting all of it. That was the whole point
That was the entire point oh my lord
Is the new romance guy update already out I have no idea I know it's coming out soon
We're doing a stream for today 12, so I think it's out today at some point
This is why I don't do mods from games.
Honestly, what I'm dealing with right now is one of the reasons I don't mod with games
either.
Like, I just, I'd rather just, normally I'd rather play it like the devs intend, but to
put it bluntly, the devs of this game rock at a lot of things, but knowing what basic
QL should be in their game is not something I think they're good at.
So I'm trying to address that and make my experience more fun, because I do not like
how they've done that.
That's honestly the only reason.
Unfortunately, what these devs find enjoyable and fun is not what I find enjoyable and fun.
I do not find excessively tedious inventory management to be varied.
I love everything else about this game, but their decision making on what is good QOL
in a game like this, I could not disagree with one.
It's honestly the worst part about the game.
That and the combat are the two worst parts about the game.
But it's the only reason I want to mod it, because I know that if I mod it, I will have
a better time in their game.
it is it is it is a having more enjoyable experience in this game with
mods just like on a fundamental level so that's the only reason I'm even
considering doing it and I don't do it too often in the game like this but man
I gotta be blunt when I played this game so many years ago I always assumed this
QOL wasn't in the game because it just wasn't ready I had no idea that they
designed the game to be that heavy-handed and chunky I do not like games that are
that heavy-handed engine.
It's just, I don't play these games to drag a thousand
little icons around arbitrarily.
I play these games to explore and craft and progress
and stuff like that.
Not be the inventory medium at all.
So, that's again, that's the only reason I want to mod.
That's the only reason I want to mod.
I want to get to the fun parts faster.
And I feel that this game doesn't line up with me
in terms of what I feel,
but it's fun in a game like this.
Yep.
okay let's are we over back in meadows we are actually okay let's let's go down
to like where the biome corner is and let's see if we can kind of sketch out
where this meadows biome is as he says that's why I love this game the inventory
tedium weren't you the guy that was just telling me over and over that the viking
mod that does all the crafting auto stuff is working were you just the guy
saying that you were the guy trying to convince me so why are you using that
inventory mod that takes out all the tedium if you just told me you like the
tedium is this the duality of man is this that whole thing okay you can't have
both bro you can't have both I'm sorry you got it decided under Smith's video
course I do the same thing man and who knows you know some sometimes I will say
this I thoroughly enjoyed my last playthroughs of Valhain and it's funny
because I didn't use mods for them but I had a great time in them but one of
the reasons I think I had such a good time was because I kept telling myself
give the indie devs a break they'll get the QOL in eventually so I kept telling
myself that right oh the only reason that we don't have all this QOL is
because it's a little team and they're working on it it's okay but now here we
Five years later and the dev team like had multiple other games in production during that five years. It's kind of like
This isn't looking so much to be like a resource issue anymore
This is either a design decision or a lazy decision
Like it's one of those but I don't like either of those. I don't I don't like I don't like that as a design decision
I don't like it as a lazy decision. I that's I don't like either of that. So I'm gonna mod it
I'm just gonna mod it
I'm not gonna deal with that
I don't agree with the design and I definitely think it should be in the game so we're just gonna make that work
What's the problem? Oh, we're just we're just talking about the QOL in this game like this this game came out a long time ago
so I feel like it kind of came out before a lot of
The QOL were used to in these types of games is so prevalent and now that this game is in 1.0
It's releasing in a state that many players of games like this not all of them, of course some people love the TV like as a young chap
Some people love the TV and more power to them, but I feel like a lot of players like me
Feel like this game is now at one point. Oh, it feels very
It feel like it it just came out but it feels super dated
It feels like a game that was made 10 years ago
before the industry picked up on all the cool things
that they now put in as default in games like this.
So, I mean, you compare this to a game like Wind Rose,
and it's like they're almost two different genres,
even though they're the exact same genre, literally.
And it's because it feels almost out of era, right?
It feels like...
I almost get the same vibes playing this as I do
when I play my old-school MMO EverQuest,
where it's like, I feel like I'm playing a game
from a different time, in some ways.
And I kind of am actually, since this game is what, 10 years old?
Seven, eight years old?
But no, this whole conversation came from
why are you modding a 1.0, which I very rarely do.
I almost never mod 1.0s.
But in this case, I wanted to, because again, it just gives me...
I love this game, but it just...
There's parts of it that just feel either wholly designed or dated or something,
and the mods make it exponentially more fun.
Yep. Okay, we're gonna mark this tomb. Still an amazing game, don't get me wrong, this
game's still absolutely awesome. What are your thoughts on it, Shrouded vs. Valheim?
Now both are going to 1.0. I'll say this, it's pretty clear which game used its early
access better between this and Shrouded. I mean, and Shrouded is essentially a different
game from when it started. Um, this game kind of didn't change much at all, uh, throughout
the time that it was around. So, I mean, it's gonna be very interesting playing in Shrouded,
because I did a pretty thorough run of in Shrouded years ago, and it has undergone a
renaissance of updates. And I'll be going back for the first time to see all of those
in 1.0. At this point, man, I'm very excited for in Shrouded. Very excited.
I think it's going to be pretty awesome.
I will say this, I'm seeing some people in chat that are, if you have found a 100% working
solution for what you've seen me doing with the mods, if you could let a mod know and
they can tell me. I'm not gonna do it now, but I will do it later. Like, the things I'm
looking for is a way to stack everything appropriately, have it so if I'm using my hammer in the
world, it also pulls, and then using a bench pulling too. That's, people are saying nearby
crafting? Okay. Okay. So, and Lemurs, to be clear, did it hit all three of those things
I just mentioned and you've confirmed that it works properly as well okay I'm
seeing multiple people in chat not saying that nearby crafting works cool
okay so maybe that's just our maybe that's our solution there's no
favoriting items though okay we could work around that we could work around
could you have any hand in the QL of Emberville oh yeah yeah I'm one of the
co-creative leads so basically every week I meet with the team and we go over
everything that's been done. We talk about what needs to change and what if
anything needs to change and how everything's going and then we spend the
rest of the meeting talking about what's coming up in the next production
sprint. So like yeah I have a hand in most of the thing that goes on. I'm not
finding chance, I'm not doing coding or art or anything like that but me the
director of the company and the game director meet every week for hours and
basically decide where the game's going, what's being made.
That involves all the QOL, all the stuff.
And it's been real tough.
I'll be honest with you.
It's been tough because, you know, Emberville, the Emberville team is not
the game and I have lots and lots of ideas.
All dude, there's, there's, I mean, I've been working on this project for three years
and there are still a ton of things that we have coming that won't even be an EA
because they're like mid and late game.
Um, there's a ton of stuff that is still being in production, like, we have a big, we're
doing, we're still figuring out exactly how we're doing a couple of the systems, like
they're already done, but we need to figure out how we want to do the long term in a mass,
and you know, that stuff needs to be finished up and balanced, and oh my god, we're supposed
to be this.
So yeah, we've also done stuff like that, but you guys will see this first tomorrow, because
tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. or no 8 a.m. I am streaming the Emberville prologue demo
so if you want to see what Emberville looks like I'm playing the demo the
demo you will be playing an early version of it you're gonna get some
extra stuff in in yours when you when you download it but the early version of
the demo is going to be tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.
It's gonna be pretty cool. There's also some features that the team have put in that I have been
Anxiously awaiting getting into the client that I've seen like you know demo
versions of and test versions of and they're gonna be in the demo tomorrow and
I'll be seeing for the first time and I'm very excited.
Stuff that we've been talking about and working on for a long time but we're
actually getting the implementation. Connecting all the Legos which is always
a super cool experience in Dev when you see all them kind of finally connect in
the foundation.
Yeah, it'll be fun. Is everville coming to console? Yep on 1.0
Any war dogs this evening no unfortunately, I just I just got too many things going on for war dogs right now
Oh
There's my boy, okay, okay
There's my boy chat I found my boy
Okay
Now you decide I want to do this
Hmm
So I think we're gonna try to make it what do we need to make a portal?
We have enough cores, so we could make a portal up to there, because I'm sure we're gonna die.
Um, we need to fetch exploring this area though.
Oh, uh, Emberville's game I'm working on. Yes, yeah, I'm sorry, I need to remember, there's a lot of new viewers these days.
So about three years ago, I was approached by a studio called Cygnus Cross, and they had a very basic demo, an idea for a game called Emberbill.
And they wanted to know if I wanted to join from like the foundation and help them make it.
And I said yes, and I've been working with this company now as a co-creative director, and I'm also co-owner of the studio for three years now.
And it's a pixel art, kind of sandboxy, open-ish world RPG.
RGG what the hell is this? Oh, the rancid remains? I think I'm dead.
Bro, are we good? Dude, that guy, I don't think I've seen that guy before.
But yeah, I'm working on it for a while and it comes out in early access on October 27th
and tomorrow we're going to be taking a look at the early prologue demo. You want to check that out?
Yep, yep, yep.
We also have a pretty insane VO cast, which is still to this day blowing my mind a little bit.
Uh, you? Yeah, I guess.
Okay. So, I think we're about down here. Oh, I missed the core. Oops. I'm wonderful.
There may be more cores in here.
Is that another rancid one?
Oh no, that was just some kind of lighting thing.
Oh, geez.
Beautiful.
Look at all these cores.
Portals for days.
Portals for days.
Let's see it.
Okay.
I think we're going to go home, we're going to make ourselves a portal and I'm going to
sail our ass up to here and we're gonna put down a boss portal. We're gonna see
about Phyllis, huh?
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
We are doing it live. Although from the looks of it, I'm never gonna find my way
out of this game. So we might just live here for the rest of the play. That is
another option that we have.
I might just set up an apartment in here and this is our life now.
Oh, I'm back here.
Oh, I'm back here. I think I just went in a giant circle.
Oh God.
Um.
Oh, we did it.
We made it out.
Oh, thank God.
Okay, Chad, we did it.
We did it.
Let's go.
We're going home.
Is this some kind of tomb raid?
It is.
Well said, by the way.
I like how you did that.
Um.
oop
great
Okay, I took a really weird way to get there, didn't I?
That's fine.
Okay, let's head home.
We're going to head down to here and then we'll cross over that direction.
Now I don't remember.
What is this boss we're doing? What is the black porous boss? Is that gonna be another fire arrow boss?
Oh, we should try to get some core wood while we're here.
I think we can do fire arrows on him, right?
Is there any way to get access to Emberville's prologue tomorrow?
Talk to Evolve.
I've been tweeting a whole bunch of stuff over the last month about contacting Evolve,
the Evolve PR company that we work with.
And they'll give you a key for the Emberville prologue if you're a presser creator and
want to stream it.
The key is only open from tomorrow until the end of the weekend for the early demo.
I mean we got some streamers in our community that are going to be playing it tomorrow.
How do you decide what to play these days?
It feels overwhelming with everything coming out.
I mean that's a great question man.
It's not easy.
There's a lot of games coming out right now that are out that I'm really enjoying playing.
I'm a super variety gamer, so I like a lot of different types of games.
And it's a real tough time for me.
I play games for a living, and I cannot keep up with the releases right now, and if that
tells you anything about the releases, like, oh, it is a, it is, um, I've been, I've been
streaming for 13 years.
This is different.
This is different.
And honestly, I think it's not like a fluke.
I think what we're seeing now is a big part of what we're going to be seeing a lot in
the future, because what's going to start happening is especially with everything going
on in AI is you're seeing more and more people able to make better and better looking games
with less and less resources.
And what that means is you're going to have a lot of people that are very smart and very
intelligent and they've been doing animations for 20 years, doing graphics for 30 years.
And what they're going to do is they understand how to make games and they're going to, you
know, in their off time, maybe go part time at their main job and they're going to go
and they're gonna grab the plot, and they're gonna grab the new GPT, and they're gonna make a game that is clearly AI,
but may have some good ideas in it.
And we're gonna see 50,000 of those in the next year.
And then, of course, you ask yourself,
well, they're just gonna be AI games, it's not gonna be a big deal.
And then you think of mecha-chameleon, and you think about how that game could have been made in a single prompt,
if you think about it.
So, the thing is, is that you know about Mechitunian, and so does everyone else.
And that means that now everyone who knows that we can just churn out all of these little
sloppy things, 10 a day, and then throw them on steam.
And what do you think that's gonna do?
So it's this like the world is going to be waking up to this stuff over the next half
year and you're going to see a whole lot of things and everyone's going to have their
first and let me tell you what one of your firsts is going to be.
One of your firsts is going to be playing a game for two hours and then realizing that
the entire thing was made from a crop.
That's in your future.
Get ready.
That's in your future. It's not an option. It's not an option if it's gonna happen. It's an issue of when it's gonna happen
And everyone in chat is going no, it's not
Okay
If you play video games
I'm not trying to do McLoom you here. I'm telling you I'm telling you the reality
This is a this is a reality of the situation. This is not a this is not a like scary thing. This is just where we're going
If you play games that are not like Super Polish, if you play indie games, if you play indie games, you've probably already played a game that's most similar to that.
And you probably don't even know it. Probably the world doesn't even know it in some cases.
So, I mean, it's...
The reason I'm saying this stuff, guys, is not to scare you. It's because you need to be aware of this stuff.
You just need to be aware of what can be done, and that way you have the tools to make your
own best decisions.
And I am telling you right now, if you go look at some of these reddits these days that
are all talking to each other about the AI stuff they're making, it will blow your mind
in what this stuff is capable of right now.
And again, this is not a to scare you.
This is go do your own research.
If you're sitting in chat going, no, that's not true.
No, game dev isn't that far.
Go do some research.
I'm telling you, I was in that boat, too.
I was like, I'll always be able to know what AI is.
Come on, man, it's gonna be another at least five years until we see this stuff.
We got plenty of time. It's fine.
What's scary about this?
The thing that's scary to me, and the reason I use the word scary so much,
and I don't actually mean scary at any point,
The scary thing is, is when people want to know if something is AI and they don't have the tools, ability, or practical application to know if it is or not.
And that, that is the thing, that is the, that's why I say it's a little scary sometimes.
Like, there we'll get to a point where you will put two games next to each other.
And as someone who wants to know, you will not be able to tell which one is AI.
and and that that is the part that's the reason I use the word scary I find that
situation a little concerned I find that I find that's not necessarily scary
but that's a very concerning situation I mean we already do that in media it's
already happening in pictures it's already happening in video and soon it's
gonna be in game so and for everyone saying don't worry there'll be AI
detectives. God, I hope you're right. God, I hope you're right. I do. I do. But I do feel a lot of
times when you realize that most of the AI detectors are just using other AI that it's
kind of like, oh, so the police are police themselves now? Okay, that's good. That's fine.
That's good. That's good.
I'm glad someone's doing it.
But no, this is all I'm I'm so bad with these conversations, because again,
this stuff changes so often and, you know, I'm just a guy that plays video games
and there's all I try to stay up to date with this stuff.
And it's still so difficult because of how fast it's changing.
But that's the big if anyone takes away anything from this conversation,
the only thing I would stress and I'll say it again is.
Arm yourself with knowledge.
Don't assume you know what this stuff can do.
Don't assume you have the tools inside you to tell this stuff.
Educate yourself.
See what people are actually doing.
See what it's actually doing.
Look at it with your eyes.
And that is, I feel, the best way we're all going to get through this.
Pretty much.
But we'll see.
Does Emberville use AI?
No, Emberville started three years ago before the AI craze and we decided very early when all of this started getting loud
That we were gonna just do a hard no and Emberville uses no AI of pretty much any kind like even our workflows don't really like at all
I don't believe it's even implemented in any of our workflow stuff now to be clear
And I'm gonna be very clear about this
In future projects. I'm on we almost definitely will use AI for at least workflow stuff
like for coding and management and sorting and you know there's a lot of very
ethical great uses of AI that can work great in game dough that just make the
creatives be able to create faster in those situations in future in future
projects I almost certainly will be involved in will be in some capacity
but that being said we did kind of make an early pledge with Emberville and we
are sticking to it so that's kind of where we are with that
I'm gonna hear the power of each fear.
All right, so let's make this happen.
Actually, you know what?
Let me, let me,
do I wanna do this now?
I think I do wanna do this now.
Yeah, let's do this now.
I'm gonna see if I can get this mod working real quick.
Give me two seconds.
Cause I would love to just get this done
and then not have to worry about it.
I think that'd be great.
I will say this though, if this doesn't work,
I'm gonna put this modding thing down for a while
and just focus on the game.
But I'm hearing from chat from a lot of different people
that this does seem to be working.
So let's take a look.
We're looking at the mod nearby crafting.
All right, we're gonna download nearby crafting.
Oh, wait, no, we don't even need to do it.
We can just do this inside of the R2.
This is the editor I'm using, by the way.
This is called R2 ModVan, if you suggested from chat.
It's working pretty great.
We're going to uninstall Valheim storage and then we're going to look for nearby crafting by.
Wait, is it not in here?
It may not be in here.
I may just have to download it manually, which is fine.
We do it online.
Okay, cool.
That's totally fine.
That's fine.
Um, oh, oh, oh, click online chat saying, oh.
That would, that would help.
Okay, nearby, there it is, by IPA3, perfect, okay.
Nearby crafting, let's you craft the build
using materials stored in your playable containers
so you don't need to move resources
in your inventory first.
Great, great, mask quick deposit
since matching inventory items.
Okay, containers are processed nearest first.
Support's gonna be able to container range
your player built-in moving to your filters.
Oh, good.
Okay, so we're gonna, when you get this downloaded,
we're gonna go to install, it is installed.
Okay, let's fire it up.
Thank you everyone who's been suggesting this by the way, we'll just double check and make
sure this is working how we want and then get to our portal crafting.
What does this mod do?
It just had some basic QOL, most importantly, craft from storage and stuff.
sent me the very poignant message that said, Hey, Co, um, how often do you think you move
around encumbered with metal in your base?
And I was like, I don't know.
And he goes, Well, I was watching one of your old Valheim runs, and I think you spent more
than half the stream trying to move metal between your boat and base while encumbered.
And I was like, that much?
And he goes, that much, half the stream.
just sorting shit. Yeah. Quick deposit is f6, cool. Okay. We are seemingly pulling from storage.
Perfect. We can see everything here is looking good. It is clearly showing us what we don't have,
which is great as well. Going out to here in building, we can see that we have all of the
resources from our base in here. Perfect. Doing a quick check on the amount that we're using.
We have 48, no I'm sorry, we have 58 bars in there. We're gonna put down a copper
that is going to remove 30 bars. We now have 28. We're gonna break this down.
We're gonna pick it up. We're gonna put it back in. We're gonna quick stack it.
Thank you, Shaq.
Thank you very much.
I appreciate it.
I think we are good.
So, this is our little starting area here.
Oh, bummer.
Oh, this mod is missing one thing, but that's okay. We can deal with that.
Okay, we can deal with that.
This mod does not have input from storage.
So we can't actually like input.
That's okay, whatever, you know what?
That's all you gotta do, whatever, we'll make it work.
All right, let's go over here real quick.
What do we need for you?
We need fine wood.
Let's grab some fine wood over here real quick.
And then I think we're gonna build this portal.
Repair everything up.
Let's do a mass upgrade on our bronze armor.
We're gonna try to get our bronze armor
as upgraded as we can, also our weapons.
We probably need to go ahead and make this bow
and maybe upgrade the bow a little bit too.
Not to say.
Yeah, you know what?
I gotta say, man, like,
I kind of understand the argument
for not having the QOL in Valheim on PC because of mods.
But I am sorry if you were playing this on console, and you just have to kind of deal
with the fact that you're gonna have to be doing all that inventory management with your
controller?
I don't know if I'd ever play this game on console, to be honest.
Like I don't think I'd ever play this game on console.
That sounds horrible.
That sounds literally horrible.
Like, I, oh, man.
Yeah, can you imagine if they just put in a thing where you, like, hold down the left,
the left direction on your d-pad to quick sort?
Like, that would save console players, like, 30 minutes of inventory management!
And they have to do that every time they get back to their base with materials.
Oh, man.
That'd be rough.
I'm sorry, my console brothers and sisters, I feel for you, Katie.
I just came from this game after Pow World, and this has been a nightmare of the game.
I think that message alone, I think is...
Yeah, yeah.
It is wild to think that this is a 1.0 that came out after Pow World,
And then you compare the states of the two games and it's just like, oh man, that's, that's very different.
That's very different.
I can see why for some people they would think that.
People coming into this game expecting.
Can you imagine the people?
Oh, no.
Can you imagine the people that have never heard of Valheim and are like coming into this game expecting like a standard sandbox experience?
And then they're just like
Why do I have to do all this stuff? What's going on?
What what why don't how do I quicksort is the game broken? What's that happening? Oh?
Lord
Out of curiosity has any does anyone in chat like that?
I think most people who are playing foul on 1.0 know what they're getting into was there anyone in chat that like didn't know
Before getting in
I feel like most people really know this game, they kind of know what makes this game special.
Like there's a lot of things in this game that make this game very special.
But I just don't feel like some of the forward-facing stuff is that stuff, which is kind of where
it gets a little confusing.
Okay.
Steam forums are littered with the...
That's what I should have looked at.
I should have looked at the steam forums, yeah, that was kind of the question I was wondering.
Like, what does the general population think about, like, the state of Valheim right now?
But...
Oh well.
That's kind of curious, I thought I really cared.
Game's awesome.
Um, let's put this down here, let's go.
I'm not gonna lie, some of your negativity is getting me down.
Oh brother, I'm okay. I mean, okay, I see why you would would say this is negativity
Probably because you really like Valheim and you think I'm attacking something you like
And I understand
But just I just want to make this super clear especially for people that are new here. I
Don't wag on games. I don't generally really like
Like it like we talk about game design stuff
We talk about game dev stuff, but like if I'm not really in if I'm not enjoying a game
I just don't play it. There's a reason I'm back to this game this far out
But no, I don't mean to come off as negative
Discussing decisions by the devs game design stuff. That's what I do here. You know, I've been doing game dev for three years now
It's it's a huge part of what I do every day. So for many days
Something about this stuff all the time. So I talk about it all the time. So it situations like this are
super interesting to me
Because this doesn't happen very often. It doesn't it doesn't happen often
Where you have a game of this success and this scope
That just doesn't care about how the rest of the games in their genre do it
They just don't care and that's interesting. This is an interesting situation like that's not
I ain't not normal, man
I mean to put it bluntly most games like this don't survive if they don't have like what all of their competitors do
But Valheim is this little interesting microcosm of its own thing, you know, and I find that super super crazy to talk
I love talking about stuff
We need a cultivator let's get some stuff growing before we leave awesome. What is the heart of the forest?
Increase what is a what is adrenaline and what health read
Hmm
Oh wait, I have another inventory slot that I now have to take up with equipment
Okay, that's my money chest burning another money chest
Did not have I had ectoplasma somewhere. I used it for something. I must
Okay, we're going to upgrade the axe, piece eight bronze to upgrade it again, wow, okay.
Got the tunic upgraded too.
We just need a lot more copper it looks like, we got to do more big runs, but we're going
to go after the boss first I think.
And we're gonna go for the boss first, but first let me get this out.
Let's see.
Okay.
I just want to get this down right now.
Um, what can we grow?
We can grow carrots.
That's it.
Is there anything else we can grow right now?
Oh, I saw it.
Yeah, no. Okay.
Wait, what? Can we grow them right next to each other now?
Did they change this?
I thought they would go red if they were too close.
How do- how do we know if they're placed properly?
Do about a meter and you're fine? Okay.
I kind of swore there was a system in this game that let you know, or maybe not.
Okay.
Oh, see, those are red.
Oh, that's red because it's placing it on the other one.
Okay.
None of them died, right?
Yeah, that looks fun.
Great.
Oh, Chat's saying you'll see?
Oh, no.
Oh, no.
All right.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Alright, we're gonna put this and the seeds in here, do another quick sort.
The meat we're gonna bring, and this needs to stay, we'll just throw this in here for
now.
Okay, so now we need to think about what we need to bring for our other portal.
So, oh, what's up dude?
Warrior, is that a gleaming trick that I've seen your grasp out with pride and limits?
Power core speed is distracted on your foes.
I can't see during the reaches, we're sure to be rewarded.
Okay.
Um, oh my lord, I'm getting rowing pains.
Alright, we're gonna put this over here for now.
And then we need, if I just break this, do I put it all in my inventory?
Yes, perfect.
Okay, now that we have enough...
Oh, just use the arrow.
Of course, that makes perfect sense.
Um, we need ten eyes.
We need some more foing wood. We need 20 foing wood.
We gotta make our bow too before we go.
We need two of these and we need ten of these.
Break.
Oh, just build two and break one. That would have been smart, but I still don't have enough of the other things, so we're good.
Oh no, what am I missing here? We're fine with it.
Let me get that.
Oh, speaking of this, I need to be planting some of these, don't I?
What are the...
What are these trees, birch?
Hmm.
What if we have any trees that we can plant?
Yeah.
Uh, Mike Method.
Uh, Mike Method, thank you, I'm honestly at this point, I don't, I want to keep this
experience as vanilla as possible, I just want to put in the mods that I need to kind
of like make it feel somewhat up to date, um, so I think I'm just gonna stick with the
ones I have now, that might change, but yeah, I think I'm just gonna stick with the ones
I don't like modding 1.0s if I can help it.
What mod am I using?
The only mod I'm using is one that helps with some QOL around the base.
Craft from chest, the pre-posit all, that's it.
It's in the mods command if you're interested.
I've tried getting into this game, I love it, but I don't understand the progression.
Can you dumb it down a little?
a little? Yeah sure, so this is a boss rush sandbox game. So if you're ever wondering what to do,
the answer is kill the next boss. If you don't know how to kill the next boss, the answer is
explore. And that is how Wario works, that is how Corekeeper works, that is how the Rising works,
in some ways it's even how Minecraft works, but that's that's what the scheme is. So
I say it's a boss rush because not that you have to rush the boss, but at the end of the day the
only goal in the game is to kill the next boss. That is always your goal. If you're ever wondering
what to do, the goal is kill the next boss. And if you're ever wondering what the bosses are,
you can go to this little portal down here and you can kind of see where they are.
There's pretty much one boss per biome. So there's the deer here, we're about to fight a big tree here,
and then there's like a bunch of different biomes, each one has a boss. If you're ever wondering
where is the boss, or how do I get the gear to kill the boss, that's when you follow the next
tier of the gameplay. Explore. You explore. You go to places you haven't been, you look through them
as much as you can, you pick up every resource you can, and by doing that you will discover where
the boss is, upgrade all your gear to the next tier, and get all the items you need,
and you will keep finding new things and progressing. And that's basically it. So TLDR, find the next
boss. If you don't know where the next boss is, explore. And that's Valorant. And of course,
You know like standard sandbox stuff craft everything you can upgrade everything you use
Experiment and test things
That's just all general sandbox stuff. That's why we play the sandbox games
Set tag oh
Man, I forgot we were so limited to do this.
Huh.
Okay, we only have 26 hardwood?
We need a better way to get fine wood, man.
This hurts.
Let's get the fine wood bow.
Let's go replace Arbo finally.
Let's go throw Argo into the pile of shame.
Pile of shame.
That's where I keep my mocks.
So here we need four more.
And then we're good.
Still need to build a damn shield, man.
Really do. I've been using this axe for a bit, but I want to have a shield too.
Why not wearing my pants? Am I cute?
What the hell was that?
Oh, I was about to quick sort but we can't do that can we?
Actually, no we can't we just go over here. Let's we need one more high-quality tree
Let's grab that perfect. There's two right here
They can't carry with Shower Shield, I want to get a Round Shield, that's my goal, I need
to get a Small Round Shield.
RIP, my Elder is encircled by a Plains Biome?
Now, hold on, you might be okay, you don't always necessarily have to go for that one,
A lot of times there'll be numerous boss spawns.
So, you might be able to find another one.
Yeah.
You might be okay, friend though.
Am I gonna play War Dogs today?
No.
I wish.
Somebody go over here.
Oh my god.
I can't use the ladder to get out.
Sir.
Okay.
I'm going to take out one of these.
Oh god.
Okay.
Heep heep heep heep heep heep heep beep
Oh my god that's so nice
Okay
I
Know
My quicksorting has stopped working.
Oh, maybe they're full?
No, no, no, I think they're not.
I think it's not that they're full.
Yeah, I just didn't have anything to cook it, okay, cool, yeah, they are full, actually,
what's going on?
Okay.
I don't need to bring two mining picks for this, but we can't go set up this portal now.
Let's get that done.
Let's go set up this portal, and that way we can kind of just get that out of the way.
Okay.
Let's get some sleepers if we can.
My boat's still alive?
That didn't sound good.
Okay.
more of that cooking.
Great.
Any word on when the No Man's Skystream will be?
Uh, 12 p.m.
12 p.m. Yeah, they definitely contacted me like last week and they were like just co-wanna do a sponsored stream for no man's sky
And I was like
No, no no man's sky no man's sky do I want to do a sponsor stream for no man's sky next Thursday, and they just go yep
and I was like
Why am the why?
Well, I have hundreds and hundreds of hours in no man's sky. I've never been offered a sponsorship like
This is in the middle of a million releases. Why are you doing this?
And they were like, do you want it or not?
And I was like, yes, I want it!
Yes! I'd love to! Yes!
And then the next day, they announced the giant update.
And I was like, ahhh! What are you doing?!
You knew this! You knew what you were doing!
Oh my god, oh the new update looks so amazing dude. It looks so good
Yeah, no, I'm not doing a new playthrough of no man's guy. No, but I'm gonna hate it and I'm still gonna play
It looks amazing. I can't wait to see what it is
What are they added so they added in all sorts of stuff they added in the ability to build space stations you can make alliances now you can
haul out and this assembled derelict freighters
Um, there's apparently dude.
This is what I think we're going to do today.
I really hope it's in.
I don't know if it's actually going to be in, but apparently they're putting in
an expedition with commentary from the developers that goes over the last like 10 years.
Like, I know very little about it.
Just what's been announced on the Twitters, but like, it sounds so cool.
Like, I cannot wait to see what this thing is.
I don't know what it is, but yeah, I don't even think I've done an expedition
in the sky because I've always had other things to do in that game because I don't think it is.
So I think I'm gonna do it. Yep, that sounds amazing. Oh, it's not in the game yet. Oh,
it's not in. Okay, so maybe we'll have to wait to do that, but I do want to do that at some
point, even if we don't do it for the sponsorships there. I absolutely want to do that at some
point. That sounds like it'd be amazing to see. Do we know when that expedition goes in?
It's called the Journey Expedition. Okay. Is the raft worth building? It can be. It's
kind of situational. The raft can be good to build, yes. But it kind of just, it kind
of really depends on what your island is like early game. Yeah. You can kind of, this boat
is very easy to make. It's significantly better. But you do need to kind of have bronze at
at that point. So, yeah.
Um, Gorsus, I thought you were sponsored for last February, so you were just checking out the update on your own?
That's not about the game I've seen you play.
Last February.
I mean here's the thing I'm not gonna say I get because they ever asked me I'd say yes
in heartbeat.
Me?
I might.
I'd have to look.
I mean here's the thing.
I've played No Man's Sky probably five, six times over the years and some of the playthroughs
have been like 60 plus hours long.
So yeah, I don't know.
Oh I just brought a bunch of metal and coal by accident.
That's fine.
We're just going down to put a portal, so that's what I would do.
We can take most of it back.
I'm just leaving the higher half there.
Part of the tin.
Oh, I might have get- I mean, maybe- maybe we did do one way back then.
Maybe. Yeah.
So that would be- this would be our second sponsored stream.
Cool.
The water looks great, the water does look great.
The water looks great but every so often there's this weird new thing where like, there'll be
like a line of hard colors sometimes when you get to the ocean.
I don't remember that in the game, I remember that when I went there.
The sailing in this game has always been so chill.
I think this game has the chillest ocean boating of any game.
I think it's like the rocking of the waves and the sound effects, the music's always
really good.
It's so chill to sail around this game.
What about Windrows? Oh god, this is so much more chill than Windrows.
And Windrows, you're doing combat all the time, you kidding me?
And the sea shanties are blaring.
Like, Windrow's ocean is awesome, but I wouldn't call it cozy or chill.
I tell you the wrong, I love the ocean combat of Windrows.
But it's not cozy.
Also, the Sea Shanties and Winnros, they are awesome.
Like I actively listen to those shanties.
They're great.
They're not chilled by any of these, but I mean they're terrible.
They did such a good job with the music in Winnros.
You're sailing around there?
Yeah.
I really like them.
What mods am I using? It's all in the mods can, just check it out there. It's only one,
I can't believe I'm alive.
Yes!
I did!
Hope played when adult mosquitoes are the radius of the whole map and talk to you on the road,
no matter where you are missed the good old days before the moon.
The good old days, yes, the good old days.
That's what I was thinking too, the good old days of when that happened.
Yeah.
I love sailing on the ocean for 45 minutes,
with a full haul of iron that I just spent two hours getting.
And then, I'm sorry, getting within almost sight of a deskito.
We couldn't see it, but ALMOST could, and I mean, that's close enough.
And at that point, I might as well have killed its mother,
because it hunted me down with the fury of a thousand suns
and ripped my eyeballs out of my head.
On my boat, I didn't even have a chance to get off the steering thing before I was dead.
That thing zoomed out to me like it was a laser beam fired from shore.
I was just like, oh, there you are.
Eeeewww.
I have to stab me in the head with these proboscis.
Right through my eye.
Oh my lord.
Suck my brain out like starship troopers.
Woo.
Great.
Yep.
All right, so we need to adjust here.
That's a way.
Oh my god, the puffer fish.
I forgot about the puffer fish.
We died to a puffer fish.
Oh, I wonder if you could still do that.
was actually hilarious. Yeah, oh man, I remember that. The old poison puffer.
Yeah, so every so often, if you're on your boat, the fish can come out of
the water and we were sailing down and that just happened to happen on this one
type of fish. It's a puffer fish and the thing that's funny about a puffer fish
is because the devs hate their players, they made it so if you get anywhere near
or puffer fish, it pokes you in the poisons here.
So I was like in the middle of the ocean,
and a puffer fish just rolled into my boat.
And all of a sudden, I'm like, what is going on?
What is happening?
And this little guy was basically just
rolling around my feet, puncturing me with poisonous needles.
Yeah, so that was a thing.
By the way, we got a little bit of,
I got a question over to the Ember Belt team earlier
that was asking, will we need to have the game as always on?
And what we just got confirmed is EA will be offline,
but once the game does go co-op,
there will be an internet required to play co-op.
And otherwise offline play is a big deal.
So there you go.
And hey, Boatman, just Boatman,
are your ears on right now?
I wanna make absolutely sure about something,
because this is one of those things
where it's a minor, okay, your ears are on.
So what the person was asking earlier is every so often,
games that have co-op require the connection to be on
to open the game.
So what the viewer was wanting to make sure
is that if they download Emberville
and then unplug the internet from their computer,
they will still be able to play Emberville offline, correct?
I'm 99% sure that's true.
I just want to make sure there's not some weird
gosh, I'm not thinking about that.
Nothing I know of leads me to believe that that's the case, but, you know, it's okay.
There are some games, for instance, that require, like, right when you open the game,
the first thing it does is try to connect to the network. And if it can't connect to the network,
it will error out and not like to play the game. And we are not, we are not going to do that.
Yeah, as far as I know, that is confirmed and correct. Okay, well, we'll do a double check with
with the game director, but yeah.
90, 90, we're not doing any kind of weird DRM thing.
We're not doing it always online.
Right?
Yeah, most of the time people do online stuff,
like Diablo, they do that for copy protection.
They do that so you can't just get a copy
from your friend and play it.
They do it so you have to have an account.
You have to be signed up.
You have to be online, like, yeah.
Well, I'll be watching a dumb question, will you be watching BlizzCon?
That's not a dumb question.
And no, I have too many games to play.
I do not plan on watching BlizzCon.
The only thing I might watch, a little bit of real talk, I am super interested to know
what the hell this Starcraft project is.
Oh my God, I just took it off my map by accident.
How do I put it back?
Oh God, I didn't know you could do that.
Oh Jesus.
Boss?
Um.
I just like right clicked because I thought that's how you drag the map. Oh
No, oh
This sucks anyway, there's apparently some weird new Starcraft project and I am very interested to see what the hell that is
So that's kind of where we are
You have to find another one of those things well, I think this is about where it is
So we'll just look around that area for you. We'll find it
Oh, it's further north?
Okay.
That's fine.
But again, if it's around that area, we'll just look for it.
That's good.
Once you get there, you can click on the summoner and it will put it back on your map, I think right.
OMGORF says, the thing I found about No Man's Sky was World Update Part 2.
The stream title doesn't say sponsored on YouTube, so I think you just checked it out.
Oh, I'm going on YouTube. It's a little different on YouTube. There's a checkbox that you click for sponsored content
So check check for that checkbox. It says it right in the top of the description. Oh god
On a boat
Straight making copies with the flip it's not let's go over here
I'm carrying too much.
Okay
A lot of goobers around
Oh, how cool!
So I get 25% health regen every time the little thing there fills up.
Okay, that's pretty nice.
I don't think we're trinkets in the game when I played last.
I don't remember trinkets.
Oh, they weren't.
There you go.
Cool.
Hell yeah, man.
What?
PlayStation canceled Kojima's new game and Xbox picked it up.
Wait, do we have an article?
No way! After all the shit Kojima's done for Sony, are you serious?
I didn't know that, no. When was that?
When did that happen?
Kojima tweeted it?
In mid-June of this year, we unexpectedly received notice from PlayStation Studios that they would cancel Fizzant Project, Kojima said on X.
Determined to keep the project alive, we've spent the last three months searching tirelessly for a new partner.
In the course of seeking advice and pursuing negotiations with people across many fields,
we found an Xbox, a partner with whom we share a common vision for the future.
And we decided to team up with them once again.
These rest assured development of isn't our genre-defining action espionage title,
is going on and will continue moving forward.
I swear to God that Sony is turning the art of dropping the ball into a goddamn art.
I don't think I've ever seen a company generate L's like a factory
More than the freaking people that printed the L's for freaking Sesame Street like I don't I do not understand
How do you like the Kojima has so many eyes on him?
Give him a plank check you need to win like why would you do that?
I
Oh dude that that is baffling that is baffling and they just handed that to Xbox
Here you go
There's speed running this like I don't
Anyway, that's that's my commentary on it
Kajima's overrated. You think whatever you want about Hideo Kojima. He could be overrated,
he could sniff his own farts, he could do things so crazy that it ruins your immersion.
That's cool, whatever. He is still one of the most well-known game directors ever, and
people are insanely looking forward to his next project.
So think whatever you want about the dude,
he's still one of the top game devs in the world.
So that's the part that is, how do you
think this is a good idea?
Just the optics of doing that is terrible.
Like, just the optics of cutting loose Hideo Kojima,
who would ever want that on their resume, right?
Like, good god, man.
I don't know. That just seems to change.
And for a project that he's been hyping up for years?
I'm convinced someone at Sony wants that company to go down.
Maybe Xbox somehow got a mole on their board or something.
I don't know. I don't know.
I mean, he's making literally what could be the next Metal Gear Solid.
And... and...
Wow.
Anyway, alright.
Another little small thing I'll mention by the way is I'm kind of surprised how candidly
Hideo Kojima talked about it.
I would have assumed that he would have been under all sorts of NGAs.
But he just like, I did all out there, like that's a horrible tweet against Sony, that
makes them look terrible.
He was pissed off, yeah.
Well actually, you know, I say that, but apparently this happened five months ago, he said it
happened what, in mid-June?
So he's probably been waiting to say this for a while.
Yeah.
Read the Sony tweet?
No.
Oh, no.
What does the Sony tweet say?
What?
Is Sony and Kojima having a public back and forth?
Dude, this just keeps getting weirder.
Oh man, I don't even know.
That's drama, bro.
That's drama.
Holy shit.
Well, actually, let me read.
Maybe the tweet's not bad.
Maybe it's just a Corpo thing.
It's probably just a Corpo thing, right?
That work?
Oh, okay, that better work.
Co, it is just a Corpo thing.
Here it goes.
Oh, here we go.
An update from PlayStation Studios, after careful consideration, we have made the difficult
decision to step away from collaborating with Kojima Productions on its private business.
We continue to have great admiration for Hideo Kojima's vision for the game.
So here's the thing, you can't really say that after you cut support for it.
You can't really, you can't really say we've made the difficult decision to step away from collaborating with Kojima.
We continue to have great admiration for his vision in the game. No, you don't.
In fact, you don't even care if the game gets made or not.
Because you literally just canceled it and you probably did that without him even knowing if you had a backup to make it.
So how are you gonna admire something that you literally don't even care enough to make exist?
That's some crazy shit right there.
That's wild how did that make it out of Sony that's like that's like more Corpo than normal
damn
Whoo, man poor Kajima dude. He I'm I'll be blunt he
He took a risk going with Sony
Kadeo Kadeo took a risk going with Sony and to see him treated like this
That's uh
That sucks
That sucks
Like he went he went with Sony when they he kind of did a bunch in the Sony stuff when they weren't doing so great in PR
Like I remember people in our chat when could when Kojima announced the partnership with them
I remember in our chat people being like finally some good news out of Sony, right?
And here we are
Here we are years later. Oh
That's why
Okay
So chat we're gonna go get some sleep and we're gonna go on back
Man, I'm gonna have to redo- we need more storage, dude.
Woo!
What do you think the reason is they cut him?
The same reason that Sony has continually made bad decisions since Concord.
They don't know what they're doing.
It's because they're trying to follow the money, but the money isn't there anymore.
So they're just- they're shooting at shadows, they're- they're jumping at- at- at- at illusions.
They think they're saving money, but what they're doing is destroying their brand.
So, what we see Sony doing, it's very easy.
Every time you see a Sony decision, the answer is, MONEY.
It's because MONEY. They don't want to pay for something.
They don't want to keep funding something.
That's every decision we see funding out of Sony, is MONEY.
So, if you're wondering, why did this happen? MONEY!
They didn't want to pay Kojima!
They didn't, they didn't, they didn't want to pay him.
I'm, I'm starting to be convinced that Sony might be in bankruptcy or something.
I mean, the amount of people they've been cutting over the last few years,
maybe there's some underlying money shit going on there and they're just...
Atrophy, maybe this is the death rose of Sony
Maybe we've literally been watching this this brand since Concord just slowly die
Because we do just see like L after L after L when it comes to this stuff
So but I mean again, we're talking about it's funny. I say all this right, but we're talking about Sony
So maybe maybe this is you remember how Sony cut the SOE part 10 years ago
Remember when Sony had Sony online entertainment and that was a company that did all their online stuff
and then just quietly overnight they let that get bought.
I wonder if we're going to see that with their games division.
I wonder if we're if we're seeing Sony
basically par down its games division so they can sell it.
The less bloated a division is that easier it is to move.
So it very well could be that they're just
they're just prepping.
They're just getting ready.
Getting ready for the sale.
I mean, think about it. They're phasing out all of their physical disc production.
They're phasing out countless studios. They just broke off one of their biggest partnerships.
I mean, they are in total money saving. 100% they're in money saving.
So like it's, they're doing everything they can from the sounds of it at this point.
So it's wild.
Yeah, they've raised the price of all the consoles.
Mm-hmm
Yep, we're nailing a chapter
Okay, so here's our shield and I think I'm gonna start rocking this I think I'm gonna retire the dual axis for now
I'm gonna try to do some sorting board stuff. I want to I want to see how much this impacts the perfect block
I'm hoping a good amount, but we will have to see tonight. I'll bring this bow. Yes
Awesome
Okay
Try to upgrade my health. All right, let's go over to here
And let's upgrade some bronze like plates
Okay, good stuff there. I'm running any mods just one
Just one mod and it's to it's called nearby nearby crafting. Is that what we settled on? Oh
Oh my god, Domino's UK quoted Hideo Kojima's tweet, Domino's Pizza, and said PlayStation
thought the game was called physical and had to back out.
And Hideo Kojima was saying that Sony cancelled their agreement with Visit, his new game.
Sony got roasted by Dominoes.
What is this world we live in?
That is, uh, that was not on my bingo card.
That's wild.
Caption strays from all directions.
That's right.
That's right.
Caption strays from all directions.
So do you still work with Sony?
I work with a lot of developers that are on Sony.
And every so often I will work with one that has, like, we just did the Marvel Tocan stuff
because I love arc guys.
I- I don't generally these days try to do just, like, just a Sony one, if that's- if I can.
It's still my job, but that's not really where I'm looking to- yeah.
I kinda- I kinda go from the chat for a second, but I like to help devs, I like to do stuff with the devs, and that's kinda where I am with all that.
Yeah.
Who are the arc guys? Arc system works. The guys that made, uh, Guilty Gear, which I had a lot of fun.
Yeah.
Okay.
I think we're about ready.
Let's get our buff all the way back up here.
We'll eat some food. Actually, let's eat some food first.
We're going to eat some bear meat, I think.
Nice.
The brand tweets are dumb. They don't care about gaming.
That's correct, but it's still funny, and in their eyes still gets eyes on Dominoes.
Unfortunately, what happens in a case like Dominoes is, we see the tweet and we go,
Haha, Domino's, that's funny.
And then we all remember the last time you ate their pizza.
And we go, ah, no thanks.
So it's not really helping in their case.
But for a lot of companies, when you hear about their brand,
you're like, oh, am I like that product?
Or I like that thing?
And that's why they do it.
But when you're an established, when you've already
have a public level of established quality,
it doesn't help.
But as somebody just said in chat, you know what?
It's better than not thinking about them at all.
And that's a great point.
That's right.
Oh, Domino's in UK.
Is that actually pretty good?
is it? Domino's here is not that great. No, we actually had to stop eating Domino's
years ago because the place near me got to the point where it was just I mean it was
garbage. I mean a lot to be fair though a lot of companies have entirely different menus in
different places of the world. You go to a McDonald's here and then you go to a McDonald's in Japan
and you're basically in two different worlds. So I mean you know when somebody says that restaurant
is not bad here in our side of the world.
It's very well made now.
A lot of times you have different rules
on the quality of your ingredients.
You have different rules on the freshness of your ingredients.
And that all adds up to the company's
having to make meaningful changes to their food.
So, yeah, I mean, you know, that's, I believe you.
Ha, ha, ha.
You have crafted a shield.
The shield allows you to block incoming damage.
If your timing is perfect, the enemy may also be parried.
Be careful though, if you block too many hits,
it will become stacked.
The amount of damage you can block before becoming staggered
It depends on your maximum health, so if you plan on taking a lot of damage, you should
increase your health.
Have your shields block more damage, but we'll also slow you down.
Have your shields also be clear to not allow...herrying.
That's still a thing, right?
Yes.
Yes.
When's the last time you had Domino's?
Oh, I'll be honest with you, last time I had Domino's was probably over 10 years ago.
Domino's has been around for a long time.
So, I mean, I've had no urge to try it recently, we'll say.
I mean, maybe I'll try to get something,
but I'm not very right now.
I will say this, I decided, as many of you saw yesterday,
during my first time on the stream,
I said, you know what?
I haven't had luck with these guys in a while,
but I'm gonna give them a chance.
It's been a long time, Pizza Hut.
Let's try you again.
Let's try Pizza Hut.
So I got some Pizza Hut yesterday.
I got a pepperoni pizza and some tea sticks,
and I felt violently uncomfortable yesterday
after eating that food.
All right, and I'm not saying this is necessarily
pizza that's fault.
Maybe my body is just no longer at a point
where I can process the type of food that Pizza Hut has.
But damn, dude, I like, oh God, rhinoceros has bloated.
I literally felt like there was like a basketball
in my stomach for most of the afternoon.
Just like this.
Like, it was just, mm, mm, yeah, no, no thanks.
So I think I'm done with pizza.
And that makes me wonder if I really should try Domino's again.
It's probably gonna go the same way.
Let's be real.
Did I eat the whole thing?
No, I only had like three or four pieces, and then I had a bunch of cheese sticks.
So that was probably a part.
Okay.
What are you eating?
Okay, I don't normally order pizza.
Yesterday was a special occasion.
Yeah, man.
It was Valheim release day, man.
been looking forward to this day for years. I argued my way into it. Talked myself into it.
Why am I moving like I'm underwater? Is that because I'm carrying this shield now?
Oh, dude, this shield is gonna friction war. I should have got a shield so much earlier.
I made the biggest of mistakes, not doing that.
Alright.
How many arrows do we have?
37.
Alright, so, oh!
Is that it?
Nope, that's not it.
Damn it.
I'm going really slow.
Is this because I'm encumbered or is this because I'm wearing so much stuff?
like I'm I feel like I'm moving slower I'm walking like I'm carrying to yeah yeah
not not quite that much but I definitely is do I have like a weight
movements oh movement speed minus five movement speed minus five
But it should only be like 10% under, right?
Oh, and then another minus five of the shield.
Oh.
Hmm.
Which among you was a murderer, a kinslayer, a renegade?
Who turned a blade in their brother's back?
Who tore babies from the mother's arms, set fire to the house of the plunder?
Considered a blessing that you remember nothing.
Each among you is a great warrior, warrior's souls are never clean.
Alright, here's a troll place, but we don't really need the troll place right now.
Oh, there it is!
Awesome!
We also got a copper vein right here.
We want to take that, but we'll get it right now.
Okay, so...
I could just try this, although I don't remember what I need.
Do I need an ancient seed?
I think I need an ancient seat
Burn their yuck. Oh, that's fun
Okay, oh we need three ancient seats
Okay.
Chat, should I try to summon this now or do you think we should prepare it for the next
day?
What's the general captain since it's...
Do you think we can take this guy?
Okay.
I'm gonna, I'm gonna give it a try, chat.
I'm gonna give the old college track.
Full set.
We watch us beat it, this attempt, that'd be the best thing ever.
I just miss, bro, I don't even do that.
Oh god. Oh is that because I turned my back to him?
Oh my god, okay, oh, no!
Oh well, okay, well, I lost this round.
Alright, so I think we need to stay...
We need to stay right next to him.
Okay, we need to stay right next to him.
We need to avoid all of the roots.
The roots go back down, right?
Oh, God.
Oh, and suck the corner pieces.
All the places and stuff.
We're working out a good fight.
God damn it, that little Grey Dwarf piece of shit.
Okay.
If I had not had a fire at that Grey Dwarf,
that great work you would have made it. Is there anything I can do at this point for healing?
I don't think this early. I don't think we can bring like, uh, yeah.
Okay, all right, let's first get some sleep.
Did I swear?
I mean, do I have healing potions?
Oh wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, maybe.
Because we can, we can make a mead thing.
Is that, is that you?
How do we make the mead thing?
Oh wait, my hammer's on my corpse. Let me go get it.
The fermenter.
Okay.
For some reason I thought that was just for food.
I didn't realize that was for healing.
Okay, we're gonna, we're gonna get that.
Do I have APRs? I do. I've got four of them.
you don't need it for this boss? No I probably don't but you know if I make a mistake like I just did it's
good to get back in back into it.
But no you're right I don't need it for this boss.
I would just have to get good. I also feel like I could probably just stay at range and
burn him down but I don't know if I have the arrows for that. We don't have a super big amount of
arrows right now so.
I always like to dig under this boss's arena and then he can't get to you
That's interesting. Wait, what I thought the boss despawned if you left
Nope
Well, I definitely would have done this differently on this, um, hmm, okay.
So we'll just, we'll just run in a little bit differently because of this.
I'm going in the long way from that side and that is not something we're gonna be able to do.
We'll have to bait out the big attack, avoid it, and then go from there, which is just fine.
Let's get rested and then we'll head back out.
Oh, also I can go over here.
Get some PHP stuff on, perfect.
All right, let's go ahead and get rested.
Oh, we need to be close enough.
We're gonna get our corpse and then we'll run back real quick and we'll get some meat
and stuff going.
Actually, no, we could be right now.
Let's see if we can get this going now.
A meat and kettle.
Okay, I need some copper.
Okay.
No.
So we'll have to do that when we get back.
Okay, that's fine.
No, so we'll have to do that when we get back.
Okay, that's fine.
Get some of this pickin' while we're gone.
Oh, hey!
Many years watching, many years to come.
I like to be alive and still am going through things, but coming here always helped me to keep going.
I'm telling the community for the good vibes and the good show.
That's to you, my dude. Thank you, man. Appreciate that. Thank you very much.
Okay!
I'm gonna put all this back. I'm gonna put the hammer back. It is not hammer time, Chad. I'm sorry.
Okay.
Can you add carpets in the core to improve comfort?
Yeah, absolutely can.
I haven't even started doing that yet.
Yeah.
You should build more bonfires around there.
That's a good idea.
Yeah, that's a great idea.
We should build a lot more bonfires around the, um, around the boss area, and that way
we constantly have the resting and the regen.
We should definitely build a bonfire around each of the pillars, and that way if we're
using the pillars to LOS, then that'll just become a lot easier.
Ember build demo tomorrow?
Yes!
Yes, we're playing through the prologues.
It's about an hour, 45 minutes to an hour's worth of content tomorrow, but I'm sure I'll
find a way to make it last even longer.
We're gonna be doing a very thorough run of the prologue.
Wait, the demo comes out tomorrow?
So what comes out tomorrow is the press and creator early look at the prologue.
We are going to be playing an early version of the prologue demo that you are going to get
access to in the weeks leading up to EA. So I think we're going to have the prologue demo
at the next Steam Next Fest, which is in October. And you can download and play the prologue demo
that we're playing tomorrow then. And if you like it, then you can buy EA. Yep.
And we are not putting the game for sale before you can play the demo.
No pre-orders for you.
You're just gonna have to wait.
Yep.
We're gonna make you try it first.
That's right.
Hi.
I didn't know I could hunt deer in this like I do in real life.
That's so cool.
Okay, let's go.
Night Shifter says, even if I don't like Emberville, can I still buy it?
I mean, I guess it's your money.
I guess.
I guess you have autonomy over that, but I mean...
Yeah. Let me think about it a little bit.
Oh wait, no, I know the answer to this. You have to buy five copies.
Yes, if you like Emberville, grab a copy. But if you don't like them...
At least five. I can get a spare.
What am I doing?
I am running home.
I am brave Sir Robin.
great Surabbi.
There he goes there.
What a mess.
Okay, I don't like that that bar is still the top of my screen there.
I wouldn't want to work along with that.
I wouldn't scare him, would I think?
I've never made a wooden spear before.
By the way, good bar scum.
Perfect.
Are you still playing Domwalker today?
Yeah, I'm going to play Domwalker.
I was going to play it at 10.
Things have delayed a bit.
But yes, I do what- well, let's see. Do I want to pay down more? How are we going to do this?
Um...
Hmm...
More than two hours? Yeah, I would love to have time for War Dogs right now.
Um...
Trying to decide I want to do this chapter.
Let's...
Let's kill the boss.
Let's kill the boss and then after this boss is dead. I think I think we'll have earned some
Two hours later, I know if for some reason this takes too long then then we'll play down Walker tomorrow
I will start if I don't get Don Walker this afternoon or today. We'll start with on Walker tomorrow
I do want to finish Don Walker, so you can play Alhain one day.
Don Walker has an ending, and I want to get to it.
Uh, hey, Boat, can you, can you pin Bryn?
I'm already starting to get a lot of, uh, creators asking about keys tomorrow.
I need to get my keys so I can start giving them out.
Uh, let's see.
I'm gonna do this.
Great.
So we need a little bit of copper. We don't need a lot. We just need a little bit.
So we're gonna run out on foot real quick.
Because I need this here.
Oh, warrior needs to be back.
Oh, no, no, the keys I'm giving out are not for Emberville EA. They're just for the limited prologue demo this weekend.
We will definitely have some emberville ea keys to give out to you as we get closer to 27
Don't don't you worry about that don't you worry about that
I mean, I probably only need like 15, I mean, that's more than I think I probably need.
Yeah, too great.
I don't need a bunch.
You want to fight troll let's fight out okay, let's not fight you win
We went troll.
Damn.
So I think, what did we get is, I didn't see his health a single time. What did we get his health to? I feel like we were close.
I think I need to manage my stamina better that time.
He was really low. Okay.
Yeah, okay, so that that issue there is I think I still had like my three
Foods on from before
So I barely have enough standard. I need any
All right, so we're making the very smart decision of going to try to get our corpse
with a troll around it that I'm sure will not end in heartbreak.
Bacon is trying his damnedest to get revenge.
He knows this is his opportunity.
Look at him.
He's like, finally, I'll put off the soul.
He knows.
I don't know why it sounds like Golem, but.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
All right.
Sorry there.
Bro, this guy is standing over my corpse waiting for me
to come back.
He just sniffed at me.
That man just sniffed at me.
I saw that.
I saw that sniffer.
Okay.
I'm trying to think like what path could we take to get in quickly and get out quickly.
quickly.
He's still low health.
Coach is walking back and forth like it's going out of style over there.
Okay, if he wants to leave for now, that's fine.
And this time we have a lot more stamina, so if he wanders back over, we will deal with
that gentleman, yep.
What improvements were made for 1.0?
They made a lot of good improvements for 1.0.
Unfortunately, I think some of the QOL a lot of us were assuming would make it and didn't
make it.
But outside of that, like there's a bunch of stuff in here, there's an entire new biome,
biomes I haven't done yet but one biome that most people haven't done yet and then they added like
a bunch of monsters and weapons and all sorts of stuff. They put in a bunch of them.
All right I do not need much power so we just need to get as much as we can.
Have you seen Ashlands yet? I have not. Okay, I just wish this was an Emberbill. Thank you!
Yeah, if you want to support Emberbill, the best thing you can do right now is just wish
this was it. We really, really appreciate it. Yeah, that's huge. And thank you, thank you.
What's up, Thauchies? How are you, bud?
Great.
Oh, I'm- apparently Ashlands has been nerfed. Really?
Oh, well that's kind of unfortunate.
Or maybe it's not important.
You should put DeNovo on Emberville.
You know, it's funny, I was in a meeting recently and I was like,
what could we do to really just make gamers happy?
What's one of the things we could do to just, you know,
really push gaming forward?
And one of the first things that was brought up was like,
Like we should use some really aggressive kernel level DRM on our $30 indie game.
And we all kind of looked at each other and said,
yeah, you know what, this is the right thing to do.
Maybe some Jaliss S5 on there too.
Um, like, I think this is the direction that gamers want.
Uh, don't need the spear, wood.
for me.
The troll man come back? He's an actual ass troll.
Uh, Anasteba.
Hi, Co. Thank you for playing my favorite game. Can't believe it's finally here.
We're going to see what buildings you'll build this time.
Oh, thank you. So, my idea this time is we've done
We've done the village build. That was our first big build. That was great. I loved it.
Our second big build
Was kind of an end point warehouse concept
And it was it was I liked it, but we never really finished it
And I kind of liked it
But I think we're gonna take that concept and we're gonna grow it out
So what I'd like to do is I'd like to find an area
That has enough water
for us to build something that the largest ship can go under.
And then I want to build a giant base over the water.
Now the problem there is I don't know the feasibility of that idea.
I'm going to need to figure out a couple of things.
Can we still do that in a way where we can have reinforced pillars on the ground close enough to the center
to where we can actually build it tall enough?
Because the last ship is big.
So we gotta figure that out.
Oh dude, we got some new stuff.
Oh shit.
Hold on, this is big.
I got some actual moving food here.
Let's get this processing like yesterday.
Yeah, let's get this going.
But that being said, what we could also do is kind of like we're playing Star Wars Zero
Company right now.
We just had a mission where we invaded this giant trade federation ship.
And you know those ships that are basically like the big ball but they have like the giant
substructure around the outside of it. I don't remember what that thing is called. It's basically a freighter that they turn into a warship.
But
Funny enough, I'm thinking like that could be kind of a Lucra Hulk, thank you.
I feel like that could be kind of a premise like where the interior center is where like the main tower is and then we kind of build
around the river on the outside and have like a master gate on the front and back.
So
I think that could be cool. I think that could work and be pretty awesome.
Oh, yeah.
Jared Seaton.
Forty-five stamina.
I need red for this dude.
Okay, okay.
Now, I can't- you still can't plant mushroom, can you?
Did that ever become a thing?
I can't, you still can't plant Mushrocks, can you?
Did that ever become a thing?
No.
I'll shift to a 5 at once.
Oh, yeah, I see.
Okay, why don't even they have 5? Oh, I don't have 15 parents.
Oh, Smashies stopped that with the 19, and I'm also going to say Smashies stopped that.
Sir.
Hmm, thank you for your support.
So is Emberville self-funded?
I hope it goes well.
Emberville has been pretty much fully self-funded till this point, and now an EA will help fund
it to one point.
Yes.
But it's pretty much fully funded already, but we have a lot of plans.
To put it bluntly, we had plans for Emberville originally, and then a whole bunch of things
happens and we realized that the project was getting larger and it's around that
time that we put in we got the voice acting stuff together so the project
scope has grown since I joined it but it's still very much I mean it's a pixel
art in the game so it's still it's still very much where we need it to be yes
yeah that being said it was basically fully funded to 1.0 when I joined it
pre EA back to the day but now with the recent stuff EA is gonna take us to
1.0 yeah but it's got me if you're wondering is the project gonna get
done yes there's there's absolutely no question as of now and I don't see any
reason that this is gonna be different that it's not gonna be fully fully one
point don't you worry about that we have big plans very solid team and big plans
Oh, oh, oh, how do I make carrot seeds?
Shoot, I need a thing for that, don't I?
Blackside Ops is what you're involved in in Emberville. I am a studio owner and I am a co-creative director.
Yeah, you just make them from carrots. Wait. Oh.
Oh, that's right. You have to do the seed thing and then we get like multiple seeds to one of these, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, this is the whole thing.
Great.
Carrot seeds for days.
Alright, how many carrots do we have left?
I'm gonna map.
Uh, green shadow.
With Twitch Prime.
Hulk, I know that you're really focusing on your thing for Damer's life.
Are you going to make sure that there's a Fish Eye FOV in Motion Blur, and also add a first-person Pov with Head Bob?
You know, make sure to really give us the best experience possible.
I'm not gonna lie, those are great ideas.
I will take both of those to the team. I appreciate it. Thank you very much for that
Okay, we're going to quick deposit and then we're gonna go to here and we're gonna build this
Do I need to put this over a fire?
Yes
I need about a bajillion rasteries, okay, so what we're gonna do now is we're gonna take
off our clothes and we're gonna frolic naked blue woods.
And the reason we're going to do that is because I need to go to this base.
Because that base, I'm pretty sure has a bunch of raspberries for us.
I think we got a bunch back there.
Yeah.
Just kill the elder and get another teleporter.
Oh, you know what? I should have brought a teleporter down to here because I need to
build one for a port of place, but I don't know what you talk about.
Uh, G would live.
Might be a dumb question. How does Wishlist help support developers on Steam?
I have added Emberville to my Wishlist, but I'm used to playing console games, so I don't
wishlist a lot of games on Steam.
Dude, that is a great question. So, Wishlisting Developers on Steam is one of the most beneficial
things you can do for their game on Steam before it comes out.
And the reason why is because when you wishlist something on Steam, that is you telling Gavin
that you are interested in the product, that you like this, that there is a chance you
will buy it.
So when a lot of people wishlist a game, and then a Steam Summer Games, Steam Next Fest,
promotional stuff. When all that stuff comes around, they put the games with the most wish
lists on the front page in the front carousel. They recommend them to people that play similar
games. So wish listing is essentially kind of like the hype level for your game. And
Steam sees that number and they use that number to give opportunities to developers. So that
is why it really helps.
Another thing that really helps,
and not a lot of people know this part,
Steam looks at two numbers,
and then they take the ratio of those numbers,
and they do something with that ratio.
And the ratio is wish lists to followers.
So if you really want to help a dev out,
you wish list their game,
and then you click that button next to wish list
that says follow.
That is a different thing.
And if you do both of those things, it steam takes notice.
Yep.
Yep, yep, yep.
And that's how that works.
There we go, look at all that, perfect.
Okay, we also got some of this.
What else can we bring back?
There's the Ectoplasma I was looking for earlier.
We also have 50 shrooms, we'll take those too.
Ooh, can I bring this back?
Yeah, I can.
Let's do it.
Let's go home.
Wonderful.
Wait, what?
Co not disclosing important info to his mods?
What are you talking about?
I mean, yes, the short answer is if my mods have full information then clearly I'm not
doing my job properly.
Um, so you're not wrong.
But who's wondering what you mean in this context?
Oh, he was saying that Suzu didn't know the importance of falling on Steve. Hey, there's another one with that. Most people don't.
Most people don't even know you can follow things on Steve.
So, I mean, that's that's not Suzu's fault, dude. Steve does not do a great job of like talking about that stuff.
You just kind of have to guess or figure it out, right?
Have you defeated the second boss yet?
Nope.
We're actually about to go give him another try in just a minute.
I think you missed it before but NMS Steam was not sponsored in the description so we'll
be the first.
Oh cool, well there you go man.
The more you know.
Lurvly.
You're looking a bit drunk.
When's No Man's Sky?
Today at 12 so about an hour and a half.
I'm probably gonna... I was gonna try to squeeze in some Dawnwalker this morning, but honestly, it does look like I'm gonna be able to.
So I think we're gonna do... We'll probably start with Dawnwalker tomorrow morning, I'm waiting for it.
What? All of the things are jammed? Wow.
Oh wait, do I have to... to commit to somewhere else? Oh no.
We'll make it work.
Didn't I just get a bunch of fine words?
How much did it say we need?
30.
Of course we need 30.
So I'm not going to be able to do this now anyway, am I?
Let's get this stuff cooking and then we'll go try the boss again.
It's going to take a while for this to ferment.
Yeah, I don't think that's going to work.
Okay, so I see myself playing more War Dogs.
I would be playing the absolute hell out of War Dogs if I didn't have 10 other things
to come on.
The thing is, a game like War Dogs doesn't really fit what I can do right now because
I've got a lot of games that have endings that I can finish, and I can't really do that with War Dogs.
So every minute I play War Dogs is a minute I'm not finishing some of the stuff I want to, you know?
Damn, that guy really hurt.
I- Oh, I didn't hit my armor on!
That'll do it.
Any plans for Onimusha? That's another game.
I- I just didn't have- Didn't have the time for it.
I'd like to go back to Onimusha at some point.
Mm-hmm.
Resonance of Plague Tailor is another one.
Yep.
Okay, let's go get this on real quick.
Thankfully, we died right next to our base, so that'll work.
Get all this on early, just in case our Skeletal friend shows up.
Um, there we go.
Weird.
Great.
Do I have resource uping on?
I do.
I do.
As a solo player, I'm putting resources on 2X currently.
And we may adjust that as we keep playing, but 2X feels good for now.
I mean, I'm still having to do a lot of farming, so.
Two expeels, okay right now.
Getting a lot of really full chests right now.
Okay, how much spy would we have to get?
We have enough to build one of these, so we'll get one of them down for now.
Oh no, we need some bronze, but I think we have enough for that currently.
Yeah, we got plenty for bronze. We need to get some more popper.
But we don't need to do that right now.
We do not at all.
Damn!
Hell yeah, dude.
Okay, we're gonna get you going.
Uh, we'll probably put the mead stuff in here for now.
Great.
All the shrooms, the shrooms in there.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Great all the shroom with the shrooms in there
Is the boss gonna be up or do I need to resummon it
We gotta resummon right
It does he stay up until he's dead or does he stay up for like a determinant in determined at the amount of time
Always still should be up
Okay, chat, we're gonna give this the old college try.
So the goal here is gonna be, I'm not gonna engage in melee because we got hit twice from
the back in melee.
It was really rocky.
So I'd like to avoid that if we can.
Let's bring some rocks.
And we'll build some fires while we're over there too.
Although now that I'm thinking about it, it's gonna be raining the whole time, doesn't
It doesn't matter, does it?
Okay, that's plenty.
The armored stuff is hurt, but that's fine.
I wonder if I could get the troll and the boss to fight me.
Probably not, right?
I don't think that's a thing.
Oh, does the fact that it's raining also mean that I can't put them on fire?
Those guys followed me as a...
Oh, shit, dude.
I swear to God, this game...
Alright, so we have to be able to troll, it looks like.
So apparently we're going to have to kill every single thing between the bottom here
And the box.
That works.
That's what we're gonna do.
That's what we'll do.
Is that with a block?
Christ, man!
I guess it must not be the perfect block, huh?
See that right there for me that felt perfect, but it just clearly was not I'm gonna try again to get a perfect
That must have been too early, that's the only thing I can think of, it must have been too
early.
Oh, I had no stamp from attacking.
Too close.
Can't block the overhand.
Oh, you can't block the overhand attack.
Oh
Okay, you also may be too close and getting a away from behind. Oh, man. Okay, please
So I was like doomed to fail there from the south
Interesting
All right, let's see if you just dodge roll. Yeah, maybe that
Maybe we'll just get like one hit in than dodge roll and then one hit in and dodge roll like if it'll take a while, but
Now hopefully he's not camping our corpse, he may be, but they do like to do that.
Shatter thing you 100% can make the other one, okay, yeah, I need to make the bronze helmet.
I think that would really help.
look into that. I think the big takeaway for me is I need to stop trying to man mode the
troll. It's not working well for us. Let's try it with just dodging and see if that works
any better.
Well this works.
I
Should work right
Like you mean no one
I
Okay, so it's super easy if we duck.
All right, like maybe maybe the whole blocking thing was just simply not the play.
That was just maybe not the play.
Okay, gotta live and learn, Shaq.
Can we do that exact same thing versus the...
The boss?
Well, no, he's got the other stuff, but I think he can do something similar.
Okay, let's head up. We're gonna try this out. We're still gonna try the bow
primarily but we'll see how it goes. The big thing is we just need to make sure
to kill every single thing that aggro's us in the way up. That was our problem last
time. We can't do this guy and the troll.
We're gonna put a fire next to one of the things over here. Hope we get a little
a bit of extra heat, extra help we get in there.
There he is, shift, I don't mind.
I'm not going to come and see if I can get him.
God damn it.
Why would you just immediately crouch underground, you bastard?
Oh, are you serious
Okay, good good attempt
That was about the worst place he could have some of those things on me.
Like we were just, we got stuck on every single bit of that.
That was actual brutality.
Hard is too hard, bro.
We're on normal.
This is normal balancing.
Now granted, my armor is not all the way upgraded, so that could probably have something to
do with it.
This is normal.
Oh, we can go ahead and make the hat over here.
Okay.
Yeah, good.
This will keep your brains in your skull.
Get a little hat there.
Little hat action.
I think one of the two hours has passed.
Oh, yeah, we already gave up on on Don Walker today. We're gonna I think we're gonna start with Don Walker tomorrow and
No, do dahime and tomorrow in the second part of the morning soon
What does no skill dreamy that is the games
Thank you to you
for
That is basically saying like yes, I the game says we know you're terrible and we know you don't know what you're doing
So if you die a bunch of times, we will not drain your skill a second time for this amount of time
So, draining skills, whenever you die, you lose your skills, you lose what makes your
character good at things.
So, um, yeah, yeah.
I
Got me aggro on us
I'm not sure if you can see it.
There's...
There's...
There's a kid up there.
Okay.
Mmm.
Okay.
That guy apparently is running away from the fire, I think?
of
death
Boop!
Boop!
Boop!
Boop!
Boop!
Boop!
Boop!
Boop!
Boop!
Do that spawn in this fight? Is that just a part of this fight?
Because I noticed he like a bajillion ads are spotting around us.
Is that just to prevent this really bad luck because this game has been first run from
the beginning or is this like a...
It is spot.
Okay, good.
Great.
Here we come over here, bro.
I don't think I have enough arrows to kill him at this point, not at all.
Do they want to go up and try the dodge thing?
I mean, we could easily kill him like this, but I don't know if I want to kill him.
There's a spawner nearby spawning them.
Isn't it?
You know, okay, we're gonna try this, chat.
I'm just gonna see how this works.
I just kind of wanna see.
Oh, there's a spawner right there.
Okay, it's a little bit near them, I think we're fine.
I really forgot how annoying this game is.
I really did.
This game is so goddamn annoying sometimes.
It is so annoying.
It is so clearly designed for a group.
And they just took no care in making it for solo players.
They were just like, here you go.
Oh my god.
Okay, let's put this on.
We're gonna do it this way, we're gonna fight the big guy.
Okay.
We're gonna do this, now we're gonna fight the big guy.
Okay, okay, I can't pick any of that shit up.
not kill me by falling a tree on my head please that would been oh my god I
should kind of show what happened that would have been the ultimate insult in
green
don't have any kind of amazing
oh wait why is my you know oh it's broken because of course it's been broken
all right
Oh, I'm stuck on the roof.
Oh, look, another Starbrew this time.
Where did this guy- where did this guy even come from?
I thought I killed the spawner, did he just, like, wander out of nowhere?
I don't know if that's what they're doing.
Got another weapon.
It's not sure he's playing on normal.
I think I am, but I have to admit, I mean, this guy is like so tanky.
I don't know really what's going on here.
The last boss was a fraction of this game, so I'm pretty sure I'm still un-normal, but
this is definitely a lot.
Yeah, I'm not going to have the arrows to kill this guy, so I'm going to go, I guess.
Just come back and try again in a minute.
I need better weapons.
I need more weapons.
Can I build a repair bench?
I do have a bench down here, so maybe we could run down and repair and come back and we won't heal.
Let's give that a try.
Is that any wood on me? Here we go, hold on.
God!
Oh Christ, that much.
Arbitrary roof requirement.
All right, let's go back we're gonna get up. I think we need to see the best arrows we can make. I don't feel like the fire arrow is working with a great job.
Maybe we can make some better arrows.
Oh, we need a for sure. We're gonna prepare that anyway. That's a good point. That's right.
fire is definitely the best okay the fire didn't seem to do the most but yeah
we can make a bunch more fire-o's we'll get this guy
All right, I'm gonna put you in there.
Um, we just need to start putting down some more chests.
Just to have this stuff.
pop you in there let's go forward there I mean can I make the at gear I feel like
I kind of want to try the at gear I guess we have to update it too I do kind of
want to make that I feel like that's the highest damage you can't upgrade our
Our bow is all the way upgraded.
We can make more fire arrows though at least.
We can make like 200 of these, so at least we can go back there.
Alright, we have a ton of arrows.
Okay, down.
Okay, man still healing there. Alright chat, I'm gonna use a potty real quick.
I'll be right back and then as soon as I'm back we're gonna kill the spawns.
Let's go punch this dude in his gun.
Oh.
Minor healing needed.
There we go.
That'll be helpful.
That'll be helpful.
There.
This one looks good.
We got extra arrows.
Is my bow upgraded? My bow is currently level 3.
Yep.
Okay, chat. I'm feeling good about this one.
Oh, wait, you have some health down?
Oh, that's cool.
That actually is fantastic.
I'm going in, chat.
I'm going in.
I don't have a mindless cop performing Oh, he's helping all the way back up.
That's a little bit too much I want to bring back towards the arena.
I don't like being out here with all these unknowns.
Did I just leash him?
Oh god, I didn't mean to do that.
Shoot.
Okay.
There he is.
Come on, bud.
Come on, bud.
Come on, bud.
one
one
So all that's going to come back.
We're going to wear him down a little bit while we don't have any ads.
I can't consume that right now.
Where does it say that my health is out?
That looks like a Titan, looks like a porous Titan, I love it.
Alright, let's get all our stamina back.
Let's save.
Halfway there, Chad.
Halfway there.
I don't want to melee around that bottom part of the roots.
Oh, you get stuff on them.
Oh, you get stuff on them, too.
I didn't realize that.
I thought you just walked through.
I want to melee you, but I also don't want to get destroyed by those little whips, sir.
I mean, I guess you could kill them, but I feel like that's risky.
start racking the noser down. Maybe we can kind of catch him in the melee thing, get him
in the melee thing. Yeah, we gotta figure out, he gets in this like cycle where he starts
doing melee attacks. Maybe I have to rush him earlier.
I had to see one back there before, it was far.
I
Write in the dirt, okay?
All right
Swap key elder trophy is that it
I think that's all we get, right?
Just the swamp.
The swamp key is the big thing.
Yeah.
Awesome.
Man, that was a thing.
That was a big old thing.
That fight was tough.
That fight was tough.
Okay.
Now, Don Walker, I wish, but unfortunately we've got No Man's Sky in like an hour, so I don't
think we'll have time.
We'll do a little bit more clean up here and then we'll take a quick break before I know when it's back.
I'm glad we stuck with this though. I'm super glad we beat this dude. That's excellent.
That is excellent. We excellent.
Will there be a demo for Emberville?
Yes.
The prologue demo.
I'm actually going to play it tomorrow morning if you want to see what it's going to be like.
Uh-oh.
Skill Up just released his review of Wolverine and it's apocalyptic.
Apocalyptic.
Like, like he hates it?
It's a do not recommend.
Oh, I'll be honest, me and Skill Up disagree on more things than we agree on.
I'm going to open with that, but I will say this, I've not seen him not recommend a product
without really good reasons.
So like, he tends to go really in depth on why he doesn't like things, and he's generally
kind of on point with that.
That's really interesting.
Dreambunker says quote, a game built fundamentally on the premise that the player is stupid.
Whoa!
Ha ha ha!
Jeez!
Okay.
An IGN gave it a six?
Oh.
Grow.
Oh, man, that's the thing.
I have to say, to be fair, IGN doesn't count, yeah, I agree, I agree, but still, still.
You can use it as a point of reference, just not as an actual reference.
That's what I said about IGN.
IGN, IGN, you never really take IGN's score as an actual score.
It's more of a point of reference of where the industry is.
Okay, so I think we need to find a swamp
We have a lot of things that aren't stacking
Is that happening because of the mod
I think that's for a mentor.
Let's get some sleep.
Ember will drop?
Nope.
We have an early preview.
Come out.
He's even using my weapons bro.
That's awesome.
I love that he's using the axe.
He's even using my weapons bro.
That's awesome.
He's even using my weapons, bro, that's awesome.
I love that he's using the axe.
Dude!
I really like how the cutscenes are also acting as actual guide framework on what to do with
this stuff.
That's cool.
That's cool.
That's a really smart way to do that from the depths.
What did we just see?
So you kind of had to guess this before, but you can look at the key.
You can look at the key and it says Swamp Key.
So you can assume it goes to the swamps, but you don't really know like what it means.
So that cutscene, for kind of the first time, showed us, like, oh, what this means is that
you are going to the swamp.
He looked at the key and looked at the swamp, and like, you know, some very cool kind of
connective stuff there.
Honestly, this game doesn't have a lot of stuff.
Always nice when it's there.
Okay, I got like a little bit of time left, um, you guys want to go on a little sailing
adventure?
We'll just start just start going out there. Oh, but before we go what we should do is we should get some
foing wood and we have beaches. We have birch. I need beach. Birch? Birch means beach. But yeah, we should definitely do that and get a portal set up too.
So he's trying to get him out going too.
Can I do this and just place the piece?
Oh yeah, I can't wait to have it.
Okay.
Make a little birch grove in here.
Get some more high quality wood.
No.
Let's go over here and grab some real quick.
Uh, Austin.
Okay, well, watching skill-ups review on Wolverine and Bowie, I do not remember him flaming a game like that in a long time with no carnage.
Damn, dude.
That's really unfortunate, like, I gotta admit,
seemed like that game was going in the right direction. Like it was super gory, the combat
looked tight, like that's really unfortunate. I definitely was thinking like, oh that game's
gonna come out and then people will be like, yay, Wolverine, it'll be fine.
I know.
Not gonna lie, feels a little weird, repeatedly rolling into this creature's crotch, but you
know what?
You do what you gotta do.
You do what you gotta do to survive in this world, chat.
Yep.
Mm-hmm.
How much wood do we get?
28.
I need like one more tree.
Oh, a two-star field.
Oh, a two-star.
Yeah.
We got it here.
There's one right there.
Perfect.
Have I been liking this game?
I've been loving this game.
Give me a great time.
It's awesome to be back in this.
Even with all the issues and all the problems
and all my whining about QOL,
it's still so good to be back in this game.
There are, there are vibes
that Valheim produces, but it does in quantities that almost no other game
has. It's honestly pretty basic, but it's just it works. It works.
Oh, okay.
Great.
Alright, we got all the time.
Let's set it back.
It's been enough to build a teleporter to the swaps, and then we'll need to build a
teleporter to come back.
It's also game-portment.
What do you mean is the game is just pretty cozy?
It is, it is just pretty cozy.
There's a lot of things about this game that just make it pretty cozy.
That's a good way to say it.
Which is funny because this type of gameplay and the combat,
there's a lot of things about this game that are not cozy.
At all. But it still works.
Oh, ran out of stamina, because of course it did.
It's tired being a farmer, bro.
Gotta work for that ish
I want if there's better ways to farm since I've never lost I
Think I think in our in our best farm
We actually made like a grid and we planted a seed in each square of the grid I
Think that worked pretty well if I remember right I think that was okay
There's a Trollhide full.
Absolutely is.
We're gonna have to do a storage revival at some point in the near future.
Gonna have to completely redo how we do storage.
We've also got to make some more healing bags.
It's really helpful during the fight.
We really have three left.
So we can keep that in mind.
Uh, let's get our rested bonus up in the very off chance so we discover a swamp early.
Oh, interesting.
Okay, so open critics review right now for Wolverine is 79% with 28 reviews.
Interesting.
Is that just a lot of reviewers wondering?
Giant bomb is 2.5 of 5. Okay, so there's clearly something wrong with it.
Dang.
What are we talking about the new Wolverine game?
The new Wolverine game. Okay, first we're gonna go...
Here, for the record, I have not played it. No, I declined all the green stuff, so I've not...
I don't... I have not played it. I don't have any personal commentary on it.
I was planning on checking it out.
Sir!
Yeah.
Okay.
So!
Stop it.
Stop it.
Stop it.
We're just gonna gingerly make our way out of here without bumping into anything.
At all.
We need a telescope.
So here's our base, so I think I kind of want to look like this way.
Yeah, let's kind of go this way and see what we can find.
Oh, that's cool!
You have a key map.
First one.
Well done.
That's cool.
I like that.
Okay, okay, so the wind is not exactly where I want it, I just wanted to go like down over
here but wanting us to go more south you can kind of hung hug this coast though
storms are coming yes you would keep it I don't know what that means but I
appreciate it man thank you
Winrose PTSD? Yes. Oh, VODs! Okay! See, Yua Kiba, I wasn't gonna say anything. I was
like, oh, maybe he's just super religious or something. He said this. I was like, maybe
he's a monk. I don't know. You know, not my thing, but I respect it. Whatever. You do
bro. Our church is great. But then he later said, uh, a few later said this, slightly
different. Oh, my vice. That's what, okay. Slightly different connotation. Not the church
of chomp. Yeah. Very cool, Yula. I appreciate that. Thank you for watching the
VODs, man. Thank you very much. By the way, for anyone new to the channel from
Valheim or something, I not only have the VODs on Twitch, but we put all of our
stuff on my YouTube. I have a long form YouTube, and then I have another YouTube
that's for more YouTube-friendly stuff. It's called Morco. But if you ever want to
watch this on YouTube you absolutely can't. We even have a website where you
can watch a YouTube VOD and on the right side of the screen it will play the
chat that was playing on Twitch while you watch the YouTube VOD. It's called
VOD Chat. It's pretty awesome. So you can actually watch my YouTube videos and then
And you can look in the past at exactly what people were saying, while, during, and it's
all, it's all synced to the street.
So like when someone types it in chat, they type that exactly at that moment on that street
at that time.
Yeah.
So you'll see if I'm responding to someone, you can actually look in chat and be like,
oh, he's responding to that guy.
It's a very cool system.
And now you can take some time and wish future bod chatters a hello if you want to, and we'll
see you that in chat.
Okay, so we're getting a little bit more here. Good.
We need to start looking around for swampy, swampy islands, swampy Islans.
Hmm.
Oh, oh god.
I thought that was some weird ass secret here.
Nope, just a really strange fish.
We're good.
Do I hope you get a pupper?
Sir.
Okay.
Don't you put your evil eye on me.
Okay.
Looking good here.
Is there a place that I can leave feedback about the Bodchat?
Just send me a DM and I will get it to the right people.
My Discord DMs are a little bit...
There's a puffer right there, I saw it!
Oh, I'm really sure.
How's Valheim? Good!
It's still Valheim.
Yeah, which is great.
It is. Yeah.
Thank you, Bowman.
Oh, here. Perfect.
And, uh, the general embargo is 10 am tomorrow or 12 pm.
I know we were kind of going back and forth on that.
Heeey, got a good shot!
That's still good.
Ten-an, perfect.
Uh, Elder Soul!
Oh, I've been at work for two years, but this Monday I'm finally starting a coding and development program that stretches for over a year.
Stoked to see where it takes me, much love to the mods.
Cool man, well heck yeah, thanks for tipping the mod team, Elder Soul. Really appreciate that dude, thank you.
Okay. What do we have over here? We already got something. We got a hit. Yeah, Boban,
I think I'm doing my preview tomorrow at 80MET, then Dan's Gaming is going to do a preview
at 9AMET, and then I think it's a general at that, and then at 10AM everyone can stream
if it wants to. Yeah. And that's going to be the Emberville press demo. Mm-hm. I don't
know if, I know Dan can stream it at 9 a.m. I don't know if he's going to stream it. We'll
Okay, so this used to be a black forest and a meadow, isn't exactly what we're looking
for right now unfortunately.
We're looking for a spawn.
Let's go around, um, nah, let's go around this side.
It's gonna be working a little against the wind, right?
Let's see if you can kind of flip this down here a little bit.
A law says, I hope Emberville doesn't stay in EA for a long time.
term EA is scary these days. You're not wrong. You're not wrong. The term EA is kind of scary these days.
That being said, we are expecting a two-ish year development cycle, and once Emberville hits
EA on the 27, like, the team is basically taking a week off, and then it is like full development
mode until 1.0. So we plan on having like major biome updates with classes and weapons, two major
updates every three or an update every three months essentially and one of those
is like a big big one and remember the games EA is with one biome but by 1.0
we're gonna have I think we're up to 8. So there will be a lot of hard and fast
updates for Emberville as soon as EA gets here yeah
there we go yeah big plan and most of I mean obviously the team has already been
working on this for a long time we already have like biome 2 is looking
amazing and I'm gonna get that in EA but here to get it shortly after EA and
biome free stuff is already look incredible like it's it's cruising it's
pretty it do be cruising you have any idea when we're gonna start with no man's
guy oh in about 30 minutes you ever doing a two-hour sponsored shooting sound
Yep.
I think this might be the other side of our island.
That's life.
Where did it go?
Man, this thing is cute.
So we're going to sail around it this way, I think,
and we're going to see just kind of how far this island goes.
Also, we know there's a mountain car.
So, I don't know, it's going to work.
I do want to stress, by the way, I do want to stress, there's going to be a lot in EA.
It's the first part of the journey.
We can't wait to get your feedback and healthy development, and to have your help in turning
1.0 into something awesome.
But that being said, I would not recommend buying EA if you are at all concerned about
getting the final project.
Wait for 1.0.
The whole point of us doing Early Access is because we want to utilize it to make the
best possible 1.0.
So if you want to be a part of that help, that's great, but just keep in mind, if you'd rather
have the full game, wait for the full game, that's what we're asking of you.
It'll be a ton of EA, but it's the first step of the journey.
Do you have to pick it?
Do you think that Valheim had a good EA?
No, I don't.
I think Valheim is a great example of how not to do early access.
And the reason I say that is because, A, they didn't really listen to the feedback from
players screaming for features and things to be put in the game.
The early access period was incredibly slow. I think the early access was like seven or eight years. That's that's honestly
That's too long. That's not okay. Like if you're gonna do any a period it's got to be
Somewhat short to keep everything like in a nice little package. I mean, there's a world where Valheim just never got
So five years. Thank you five years and and and but here's the thing it was five years
But parts of the team were working on other projects during that time
Like, it was very clear that this game could have come out a lot sooner, and it just didn't.
So, it- good EA periods are like, how long?
Where it is constantly getting updated, it's constantly listening to feedback, it's constantly
reacting to feedback.
Like, EA is not just supposed to be more development time because you needed money.
Like, that's- that's in my case, that's kind of like the worst EA's for like that.
to use an EA period properly is like Larry,
Hugsorm of Corky,
V-Rising,
like you're using EA to make the best possible 1.0 experience.
And I don't feel like the Valhahn guys did that at all.
I don't feel like the Valhahn guys did that at all.
They were radio silent for months and months and months.
They really didn't listen to much feedback at all.
They didn't even follow their own roadmap, y'all.
So love Valheim for what it is. I mean, it's great. I'm loving this game, but this this project had major problems
Major problems it is it is I would not call it a goodie. Oh
And that's okay projects can have problems and still be fun projects nothing wrong with that
Nothing wrong with that.
We can talk candidly about the problems and still appreciate the successes and victories.
Which is what I'm doing here.
Satisfactory was five years and I enjoyed every minute.
Satisfactory was constantly putting amazing, amazing features in its game.
They were constantly plugged in with the community.
community, they changed their game wildly based on what players asked for and wanted.
So Satisfactor took five years, sure, but they used every single month that they had.
And when Satisfactory 1.0 came out, that game was... is... flippin' awesome!
And one of the reasons that game is flippin' awesome is because they had a great EA period.
So, you know, it's funny because a lot of people rag on EA, but I mean, we wouldn't
have had Crimson Desert releases if Crimson Desert hadn't had early access.
I mean, Crimson Desert released and that game was almost like an actual gamer had never played it.
And there are 90% of the things that Crimson Desert fixed in the first two weeks of patching that would have been caught in an EA easily.
So, like, that's even AAA games could benefit from the EA stuff.
Can you imagine if Crimson Desert had had an early access period, but as hard as that dev team has worked on making that game awesome?
Imagine if that dev team had gotten all of that feedback that they got after release before it came out
Like that game would have released
Amazing, you know what I mean?
And and we know it's not because they didn't have the work because a lot of the Crimson Desert patches didn't add things it
Changed things
It was them going oh we wanted to do it this way, but this way actually kind of sucks
So we're gonna do it the way you and that was like most of the changes that Crimson Desert made after it came out
let's be real. So, like, that's a great example, man. If that game had been put in the gaming
community before it was a 1.0, like, that 1.0 would have been a better 1.0 by far. It would
have been a much, much better game. So, it's that kind of thing. It's that, like, not all EAs are
evil, and not all EAs are good. It's just a tool. The early accesses are a tool, and it's up to each
developer to utilize that tool in the best way to get their 1.0 to be the best of
anything. I'm not gonna play War Dogs, not right now. Not right now, I just know
the time. What about Baldur's Gate 3 EA? Baldur's Gate 3 was another fantastic EA.
I mean as another example for Baldur's Gate 3, Baldur's Gate 3 got so much
feedback on the UI that they originally made for the game that during the early
access they rebuilt the UI from the ground up.
So Larian came up with the UI that they would have released with, that they would have had.
And then everyone was like, no, this sucks, don't, don't release with this.
And Larian went, really?
Well, how do you want it then?
And then the players were like, more customization, more modular, let us move stuff around.
And EA said, well, we can't do that with this, or Larian said, we can't do that with this,
we're gonna have to rebuild the whole thing from the ground up.
And the players went, OK.
And then they did it.
And it's one of the best UIs of any CRP game.
And stuff like that, again, no EA process.
They just would have released with that original UI.
So it's very cool when you see devs utilize that kind of stuff.
I love it.
I love it.
I love it.
CORE Keeper has done it amazingly.
V-Rising has been incredible about it.
There's lots of devs that are doing it really really well.
That finished down Walker? No, we're gonna start with down Walker tomorrow.
With that in mind, Graveyard Keeper is releasing as 1.0 not EA.
I think that's kind of fair because if you look at Graveyard Keeper 2, it's mostly Graveyard Keeper 1.
So I do feel like they probably have a really good idea like you don't always need an EA if you know exactly what you're
Making and you don't and you don't and you're fully confident in it
You don't like you don't need EA's are not a necessary thing
so in a case like graveyard keeper 2
like
great-grandkeeper one was pretty great by the time it came out and
Great-grandkeeper 2 is very similar to one with some extra stuff
So in their mind, they may be saying, let's save all the new stuff so people will, you know, buy that, let's really focus on that.
And then we'll just kind of, you know, have everything kind of work out and just do whatever it was, because everyone liked that.
I'm guessing that's what they're doing, but we'll see, because I'm going to be playing that game. I love, I love Karrot Keeper one.
What is the worst kind of early access?
Well, I don't want to call it the worst, but the types of early access that are the least utilized are
when a company goes into early access just because they need money and
Then they don't take any feedback and they still take a long time to make the game
That's kind of like that's where I feel like a lot of it and then worst case then the game either doesn't come out
Or it sucks when it gets here
So those are the work those those are what have gotten early access all of the shit that it's got is
We've had a lot of projects that have not made it out of early access that have not
Made it to 1.0 that you know and and it sucks. It absolutely sucks
Game dev is hard. I mean game dev is hard and you know eat a lot of those a lot of those projects
They start with confidence. They start in a good foundation then the stuff spirals out of control
So, it's, you know, I feel, I feel for devs that, that really try hard with EA stuff and
they just can't pull it off.
Um, especially the devs that are, you know, consistently trying to deliver the best project
they can to their, their audiences.
It happens a lot.
That's literally Ash's creation.
No.
No.
Ash's creation had some, we're learning more and more about some of the nefarious stuff
That was behind ashes of creation ashes of creation is a little bit different when you when you're talking about money at that level
When you're talking about burn rates in the seven figures for quarters
That's that's that's not what we're talking about right now
We're talking more like in the ASA that that's like a star citizen. That's that's a
That's a different beast and a different conversation
Yeah
Not saying that ashes of creation is like star citizen, but there's parallels, but I'm just saying this the scope of the projects are much
You know what the best part about all this is I just came all the way out here without remembering to bring anything to build a toilet
Nice.
So what we're going to do, and actually this might work in our favor, I think we're going
to go back around up to the key.
We're just going to do a big loop.
I mean, it's maybe okay because when it looks a bit, we're not going to find a place to
put the other portal anyway.
So yeah, we'll just do a loop backdoor base and then grab the portal and stuff.
Classic toe moment man. I've been yapping. This game gets me yapping, Chad. This game gets me yapping.
How is Star Wars Zero Company? Surprisingly great.
I actually put that game on pause and then found myself thinking about it so much, I put it back into rotation.
I don't do that for many times.
It's a very, very solid tactics game.
Yep. I'm hoping to do another mission in it tonight.
But no, it's been good. The voice acting has been really good.
The graphics are not that great, but the way they do the world and stuff is good.
The tactical combat has been I find it. I'm none of the hardest difficulty
To be clear, I'm on the second farthest. I'm on hard or whatever
But the combat has been
Very even on hard put it bloody. It's been very manageable. I feel like unlike XCOM
ZCOM gives you a lot more options to deal with errors and negative problems
It's very forgiving. There's guaranteed hits which are great if you're an ex-complayer,
you know how powerful guaranteed hits can be. It's an easier, more casual tactical experience
wrapped in a damn well-voice-acted and interesting story with very cool characters and it is
drenched in Star Wars ID in all the right ways. So, yeah man, that's what I think of
Star Wars air company. It's it's it's work. I'm not even a huge Star Wars guy and it's really working
Go even if you're sailing for like half an hour your stream is still so great
I I appreciate that because I feel like I'm pouring the hell out of most of you right now
And I was about to say something along the lines, but I'm sorry. I'm pouring the hell out of most of you right now
So, thank you. That was well timed. I appreciate that.
Very much appreciated, my dear.
Okay. Oh, hold up.
You got another island relatively close on this side.
I don't think we're gonna go that way.
Well, no, let's get our portal first. Let's get our portal first.
We'll get our portal. Looks like you marked this.
Um, he has fire.
Oh, we got some wind.
Let's go.
So, right over here, we got a pilot.
Let's see if we can come back there and check out what I'm gonna...
Dang. There was a party that was hoping we would find the traitor.
But alas, it was not to be, Chat.
It was not to be.
Oh, here we go. Another one.
Okay, I'm gonna say I really don't like the phrase temper your expectations when it comes
to AAA gaming because it's a society that's supposed to represent the most well-funded,
well-produced, most experienced projects we can come up with. So whenever you're talking about
me spending potentially 60 or 70 or 80 dollars on a game, the last thing I want to hear is,
temper your expectations to what you would expect from a game like this.
Like if anything these days it is so much more important that you feel value in your
70 and 80 dollar purchase.
Not like eh I guess I could spend this on a game that is okay.
I will say also to be clear we've interviewed Gene Park on Drop Frames.
I've talked to him numerous times.
He can find a lot of joy in games.
Let's just say that.
I've disagreed with some of his takes, but he is somebody who can definitely...
Actually, I will say this, kind of like me, if he does find something in the game that he likes,
a lot of times he can kind of tune out the stuff that he doesn't.
And I think that's awesome, and I appreciate that, but I feel like it's super important when you're reviewing games
viewing games that your audience fully understands that.
So I don't know. I don't know. It's it's an interesting I like
but yeah, that I that I will say that if Jean is saying to
temper your expectations, that tells me a lot.
That does tell me a lot about the game. Yeah. Yeah, it does.
But he does. He also has 46 hours in it.
So, I don't know. We'll see. We'll see.
Okay, what are we talking about? We're talking about Wolverine.
A game called Wolverine is the reviews are coming out today.
And it's really all over the place because some major reviewers
have basically said this game is garbage and they don't recommend it.
But then it's also getting like 7, 8s and in some cases 9s.
So it's one of those games that's like some people are reviewing it
and saying like, yeah, it's okay, 7, 8, it's fine.
and then others are reviewing it like,
oh, when you look under the hood,
six, five, do not recommend.
So this is gonna be interesting.
How did Gene spend 46 hours in that game?
Wow, that's a good question.
How do you, I thought it was like a single player story game.
Is it like a more open world thing?
How do you spend 46 hours in that?
Oh, it has a new game plus?
No, I legit have no idea. I do not know. I do not know the answer to that question.
If it's very linear, that's just me.
Streambunker.
Took me a while, but I'm finished with this full-up video.
He ends saying that Wolverine is so bad that it will set a new industry standard where in boardrooms people will say,
Let's ease up on the player guidance. We wouldn't want to be like Wolverine.
So, I'll have to watch the video to know exactly what he's talking about.
I'm assuming he's talking about, like, God of War Mimir-style back-seeding?
When he says, player guidance, I'm guessing he's, that ties into what we heard earlier
about him, where, where, or what he said, because I think one of the lines, oh, can
I get through here?
One of the lines he said is, it makes the player, it makes it feel, it makes, it made
him feel like the devs thought he was an idiot so yeah I'm gonna go after watch
that review later thank you thank you for the heads up there
oh man that's not good that's that's not good but what's even weirder is now
all of a sudden I'm understanding where Gene is coming from because if Gene was
approaching the game this is like dumb fun I'm just gonna cut stuff tell me
what to do you know if you're approaching the game with that mindset
You don't really care that the game's telling you where to go everywhere,
because you're just playing the game for fun.
You don't care.
But if you're like us, or Skill-Up, and you want like a rich, meaningful experience,
you want to feel like your decisions matter,
you want to feel like there's customization that you can have your own kind of play through,
like you're going to have completely different expectations for a game like Overlord, you know?
So, huh.
Perspective is going to be huge with those types of problems.
Cuz I think I'm gonna be real a lot of a lot of gamers
I don't think care if the game just tells them what to do and where to go I
Mean just just being real I mean I think a lot of people like yay Wolverine and tell me everything
Tell me what buttons to press and they're gonna love it so
Like how do you how do you convince those people the games back?
You know like
Do you? Or do you just let them have their fun in the game that we would think is not
good? I don't know. I guess here's the worst part. You ready for this chat?
Wolverine is going to be one of the top selling games of 2026.
watch
And then all of a sudden all of a sudden with skill up it's gonna be like oh
Man that youtuber got that so wrong you wouldn't want them to pull a skill up
Would they and then all of a sudden the whole thing reverses on him and it becomes this horrible me?
I'm kidding of course. There's with the reviews we're seeing there's no way that's gonna happen
I mean, at this point, I have to be real, I was glad to get the Metacritic and see some of the people that are radio low.
This, yeah, it's not looking good, dude. It's not looking good. It's not.
I'm not seeing a world where this isn't going to affect sales.
Especially, like, when does the game come out again?
It's still got some time, doesn't it? It's not like it comes out tomorrow.
Yeah, it comes out in less than a- it comes out in five days, so that means that this
info is going to get nice and out there before people put their money on it.
Yeah.
It's one thing to release the reviews and then have the game come out the next day, because
you know, a lot of people may not pick up on wind, it's not- I mean, let's be real, most
people don't follow gaming news as much as we do.
But when you have- when you have five days, when you have almost a week, that's- that's
a little different.
That's going to get out there and be weaker.
That's going to let articles get written about it.
Those articles will get popular, and then it becomes less and less of a chance people are not going to see it.
So we'll see.
We'll see.
Fire Emblem on the 17th.
It's like that Michael Jordan meme. I'm just going to look at it and go,
Stop it.
Stop it.
Okay.
I'm still not quite sure where that sound effect comes from with making me.
Maybe someone from Norway can, maybe that's just how making me sounds, I don't know.
But um...
Ricky says, I can't believe you're still playing this.
I thought you were only playing it for two hours,
and you were supposed to be playing other games
and doing other things.
Well, Ricky...
You have good points.
Mh.
Mh.
Yeah.
And we're just gonna leave it there.
Um...
Okay, let's take a look.
So let's do this.
We're gonna come over here and we're gonna do...
You.
Huh?
The range of my thing doesn't seem to be working properly.
And now we got everything on us for the portal.
Great.
Uh, do we need to do anything?
There, if I'm not mistaken.
Alright, so now we have a portal here, it's just the default name.
Actually, no, let's change this so we don't have to be in the weird Tom Follier later.
Okay, so if we just go this way, this is like an actual bay.
Um, hmm, if you want to go back out to R- well, dang, dude.
It's a terrible place for a base, unfortunately.
If I had known this, I would have never put this here.
You want to be on, like, the outside of an island that gives you full access to the ocean
in lots of different ways, but I inadvertently made it, so I either have to sail this little
Bullshit every time or sale this giant bull shit
What what is this oh
Shit bro
What? Okay, new mission. We got a merchant. Oh dude, when did that happen?
What's happening when we went around the corner? Oh, that is so good. That is so good.
Man, that range on that is crazy. I'm gonna miss the range by the time I reach him out.
Alright, we're gonna make a merchant portal so we can go to the merchant whenever we want.
great great great great great okay
hurrah
we've got to only have seven minutes yeah we're not doing it now
you would have heard a sound did I miss the sound of it appearing I didn't
even though it made a sound.
I might have.
I'd say explore more before deciding.
You know what, you're right.
I probably should do that.
What we should probably do is we should do a big loop
and we should see what islands border hours
and what biomes they are.
Like if there's a really good island like down here
It's like planes, mountain, and they're both giant or something.
Like putting our base, like right here, down here, can be amazing.
So yeah, well, before we move our base,
we will do some more exploring for sure.
We're going to call that one a vendor.
And then, you know what?
I don't think that...
Does this game still have problems loading
on boats in the ocean?
I remember there were some things about that.
That was a long time ago.
What was the thing?
I remember at one point, a long time ago,
we logged out on a boat that was moving
and then I logged in the next day
I was in the middle of the ocean and we died and then had to spend like two hours going out and getting our stuff
and we never found our boat.
So...
Ah...
Kind of a thing. There are three vendors now?
There are...
Shit. Okay, so wait, who's this? Oh, I don't even know who this is!
Hit! Okay, well damn. This is Haldor? How do you know? Oh, do they have different icons?
Is that what it is? The icon. Cool. Great. Okay. Awesome. Yeah, I haven't played this game for like
years, guys. I have so many. I think there weren't even trinkets in the game when I played last.
We got our first trinket today.
Now what we could do is we could go through this with a mining pick and make like a nice
big channel to swim through.
And er, to get through.
That's probably what we'll do for now.
We also may be able to afford this.
We haven't tried.
This looks a little thin.
But we might be able to get down this.
In which case that would open up the southern reconfeder.
I mean, Brandon, we can just go back here.
I think we can go through here, right?
Yeah, we can.
Oh, god.
We'll have to make some waterways so we can easy sail around.
But we'll be able to make this base work for a bit longer.
Nuryel, what do you think?
I'm sorry.
Nuryel just finished the Emberville prologue.
So I was just wanting to get her opinion.
Mario says, I loved it and I want more.
That's awesome.
Great.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that you're one of my paid employees, but
you're saying that.
But I appreciate it nonetheless.
paid actor yeah this boat actually like this is this is rowing speed that's
decent it's not terrible I do I would love to get the faster though but I think
that's a ways off alright is the next boat faster I don't think but I don't
I know it can haul more. It is faster. Okay. I couldn't remember if the smaller boat was quicker, but just hauled less.
Can you get out here okay? I think we're going to be able to make this.
We're going to have to come through here with a mining thing, I think, I think.
Line this out a little bit.
This is tumultuous.
It's the word of the day, by the day, try to use it in a sentence.
Yeah, this needs to go.
Put me in there.
The nice thing about this is when you mine out an area, you know you've mined enough
because your character won't start floating and then you can't mine any.
Which is always nice.
Like right there, see?
Man, I really wish they'd put that little ladder on both sides.
Always fun.
And if we do what I'm doing now, each time we come through here,
then by the third or fourth time, the boat will just start sliding through.
You just have to do this pretty much every time.
And then we'll have a nice big open area to go through.
Great.
All right.
Well, you know what, good, we're just going to park our boat here and go play some No Man's
Sky, just just like I planned, chat, we're just going to park it there and and go from
there.
Okay.
Give me one second, friend knows.
So just to reiterate, I was contacted a couple of days ago by the NMS guys and I have played
so much No Man's Sky over the years.
And a few days ago, they said, hey, we'd like to sponsor Co to do a sponsored stream.
And I said, what?
Like No Man's Sky wants to sponsor me.
Like, why?
It was my first question.
I played, I played like hundreds of hours of this game
unsponsored, like, and, and they hadn't announced anything.
When they asked this, I was like, why do they want me to play this
game in the middle of all this stuff happening?
And then they said, well, do you want to play it?
And I said, of course I want to play it.
Yes.
Like, I will, I will always do a sponsor stream for no man's
guy.
I love this game.
And I, and I pretty much never have.
And then the next day is when they announced the most recent update.
And all of a sudden, the pieces fell into place.
This update that we are playing today looks awesome.
It basically lets you build space stations, form alliances.
They've redone how space stuff works.
I don't really know how.
We're going to be exploring that together.
They're putting in, I don't think it's in yet, but they're putting in a new milestone
mission where you basically have to do a mission that talks about the 10 years of NMS development with dev commentary.
So needless to say, I'm pretty excited to take this out now.
Again, I do want to warn everyone and I want to be super upfront about this.
I have five other open playthroughs right now.
I'm currently playing through five other games.
I'm not planning on adding no man's sky to that right now.
However, what I am looking to do is see all the cool things that is in this right now, because I think I'd like to take a look at
this when we do have a schedule part open up.
And I'm hoping to God that that number stays at five, but we will see.
Okay, here we go.
Before we begin again, I would just like a big thank you to Hello Games.
Probably heard of them before.
They not only have this incredible game, No Man's Sky, but they also
have the equally sounding awesome game, Lightning of Fire,
which is in development.
And I think I speak from any of us when I say, oh my God, we are
looking forward to that game.
So yeah, it's going to be awesome.
Uh, give me two seconds here.
I realize it would probably be good for you to know what name I'm playing.
Probably be a little good.
Okay.
There we go, and one second, mods, I see it.
Perfect.
Great, so let's get started. Let's do this
No man sky cosmos update
Claim and personalize a space station join an alliance construct a space space and
Discover deep space marvels in no man sky cosmos space exploration has been reinvented with a new
Star system map to track the locations of points of interest
Strip colossal hoax for parts before hull integrity fails, recover and haul physical salvage to remote space outposts, or build a home out amongst the stars.
Take command of a space station and create or join an alliance to compete for the most expansive territory in the galaxy.
Is that PvP?
No.
Let's go see.
Play.
Um, what play do I want to, what save do I want to do?
Casually 30 hours here, 36 hours here, 42 hours here.
Um, probably this one.
Let's take a look.
Oh, you know what? I think I have one where I have a living ship.
Let me just take a look at that one.
It's loading now.
Oh, I got cool wings.
Um...
Zoltan's Claw.
Actually a pretty good looking ship.
I think we could probably go from here, what do you guys think?
Okay, go for Alice's motor, get her normal mining thing.
Kind of look into my stuff right here.
Where is my ship?
How did I get in the middle of nowhere without a ship?
Okay.
Hey, say no to some stuff, buddy.
You'll need a Corvette for the new stuff on salvage missions?
Really?
Okay.
Okay. Corvette, you mean a freighter? For a larger ship.
Oh my gosh.
Somebody shot us also.
Corvette is the custom ship.
Oh!
Oh, I need to get out of this door.
Yeah, I don't think we've done the first station.
Where do we start then?
Oh no, no, I need to be on the next station.
Hold on.
Here at the space station? Okay.
Uh, what is our hyper move button again?
We'll go into our super fast.
Whoa!
Whoa!
What is this?
Oh, that's cool.
Hold on.
Uh, here.
Okay.
We're gonna have to do this this.
What was the way that we go?
I'll press normal space.
Thank you.
What is this? I have no idea. I have no idea.
We're going way out there.
I think that's co in the corner. Oh wait, is this helping? How's this with the bitrate?
How we do it? I good? Okay. We're going flat. Oh my god. Use the map to track the location
of points of interest spacewalk to strip salvage from colossal hulls or step inside derelict
freighters and uncover the fate of the previous crew. Visit remote spacehouse posts for lucrative
contracting and package delivery opportunities. Establish an orbital base to build a home out
among the stars. How do I do the orbital base thing?
Is that a portal of some kind?
Or do they have a little ship right now?
I just travel between those two systems, I think, and dance.
two systems? I think I did. Interesting.
Ancient warp pathway successful.
What do we got here?
We've got a space junk salvaging opportunity.
An unknown signal.
salvaging opportunity. Ideal site for orbital space construction.
Planetoid gober or comet fragment? Hold on. I can see what a comet fragment looks like.
Okay, this is something cool.
That's kind of, we're going to go through all of these, I'm going to see what all these
things are.
Yeah, I think I'm going to have to check out the, I think I'm going to have to check out
the ship building thing.
I don't really know how to do that, I haven't looked at this.
Pose a pixel man? I am.
I'm a pixel man.
A habitable comet fragment.
Distress signal detected on... wait, what?
Is it a distress signal down here?
Oh!
Um, whoa!
What's hitting me?
Is that just because I'm too close?
Oh, look at the ground!
Oh, that's wild!
The message has fragmented its signal to King as it calls endlessly into the void.
attached, maybe it will help. A schematic and a ready-made prototype for a deep space
base computer. Ooh, I'm not doing that here. I want to see what our options are before
we do this. This looks like it's going to be a normal base. And they did say that you
can do this. I don't think this is a space station though. I think the space station
different. So let's keep poking around. Here's the normal map. Here is the new map.
So let's move right around the side of this. What's this?
A rest stop, a deep space trading outpost. Okay, we're gonna go through this.
It's a great-
Kenomon, I have no idea what that means, but it probably does some mean, you know.
Space Station is the standard one, the one since we've used forever, the one since we
didn't buy.
What are- what is that?
What is that?
I don't know what that means.
What is that? What is that? I don't know. Maybe that was after the last one I played.
Did this work? Frozen? Oh, rich vein of Comet Fragments harvest opportunity detected.
It's this thing in front of me.
Harvest asteroids for rare resources.
Like that one?
Or all of them?
Oh wait.
Do I have a mining thing on this?
Oh, I don't think I do. I don't think I have a way to mine this, do I?
Oh.
Oh, I can eject and mine it?
Okay.
Well, that's kind of wild.
What do we just get?
Comet Dust.
Used for building.
Interesting.
Yeah, I don't even know if I can get out of my ship last I played.
This is new, isn't it?
This game, dude.
Every time I play this game, it's like they've just changed it in wild, radical ways.
Every single time I play
Oh, wait, no not this one. I gotta get to the habit of our second map. Here we go.
All right, so now let's check out. Let's see. This is another asteroid belt
Let's check out this planet's way
I want to see what all the little random events can be like and then I think we're gonna go try to build ourselves a ship
Wait, are you gonna engage or...?
Cool.
Oh man, I bet some people are gonna have some crazy builds on these assholes.
And that's really fun.
Okay, so those those are all the same pretty much
Just like rocks that we're able to to build on there. That's that's cool
Uh, let chat is really wanting me to check out the the
Building so before we go to this mission where chat's saying I need to have a corvette for let's go to the space station
And uh, let's see about
Building a ship
What are we doing in no man's sky right now dude they were all they sponsored the next
two hours of the stream out of nowhere like I've been playing this game for almost a decade
and I think this may be one of the first times I've done it so I tickled pink I was like hell
Yeah, man. I love this game. Let's go
It's very nice
W. Sean W. Sean
Oh wait, is this where I'm supposed to do it or am I supposed to do it from the big the main space station?
Can I build a ship here?
Oh, there's a spaceship.
Uh...
Oh.
Walk towards the exit?
Oh! That big, that panel there and that big red thing?
purchase models purchase basic oh my god
Well, you know, we can afford this, um...
What the hell is that?
Oh!
Oh, that's handy.
Okay, cool.
Huh!
Sandy. Okay, cool. Huh. So do I have to buy all the pieces first?
Oh, swap offer.
I
Okay
Oh.
Look at all these options.
Tractor beam the collection and storage of salvage and debris
Oh, okay, um, can I buy more modules in here?
We're gonna have to buy them outside of this interface
You can't buy them here, dude
They should totally let you buy ones in here and then you can just like buy a part you need and place it
It'd be super handy if I if I leave
It's gonna save it right?
Stored as stores I believe
Product received
Okay
Oh, it has to be connected, I see.
I
What do I do it all I just I just throw in this together man, I don't I have no clue what I'm doing
I've never done this before
We're just having some fun.
How do I remove something wait wait wait if I'm looking at something
Perfect, okay, let's see
Okay, now we got to put in the things we need. What's this? What's this? Okay.
Can I rotate this? I can't. Do I need, do I need one of these or two of these, chat? How many
What do these do I need?
Does each one that I add, add 12 boosts and 6 maneuverability?
I only need one chance, I think.
Looks like it's time for a drink.
I don't know where we're gonna put the guns yet.
We've got options.
What else do we need?
We've got engines, we've got reactor, we've got cupcakes.
Oh, that's cool.
Hmm.
Oh, maybe I'll have four of those.
I
Maybe want for those but you don't want to take those down
What about those back out?
Hey, I'm not sure like how many engines we need for a lot of these things. I
Just don't know chat. I just don't know
Let's see is this vanilla 100% vanilla
I already want to do this totally different.
Of course.
All right, let's do purchase modules.
I need more modules. I need more in different kinds of modules.
Why don't we get those?
I keep I keep hitting
I keep hitting
right click
To to because I'm so used to doing that. I'm either build games
but that's not how No Man's Sky works, and it is constantly accidentally editing out.
All right, that looks- oh, stop. God damn it! Okay, okay, okay, we're fine. This is fine. This is fine.
This is- this is fighting all of my muscle memory right now. Um, okay.
Okay.
What is this?
Ooh.
Oh, that looks pretty fly.
Um, lip horizontal.
Okay.
Oh, do I only have one of them?
Do I only have one of them?
We don't need to worry about this too much.
Okay, how do I go back?
Is that right click?
click it is just right click takes it off perfect and then we can just go from there excellent
okay um
we'll put one more on like here to see even that out a bit and then we can do
you. Okay.
That's a wall of paint.
I do like walls of paints.
Oh, we got windows and stuff.
Oh, I didn't know that.
Oh, take stuff.
Interesting.
What's a duck thing outlet do?
I don't know, but we're doing it live.
I'm sorry, I have I have found the shipbuilding thing and now this is this is this is this is what we're doing
Proletto saved. Proletto saved. Proletto saved.
Great. We knew this would happen. Look, I don't know what you're talking about. You're crazy. You're insane.
You and your good Jabbery over there.
Alright, here we go.
Lovely.
You know what all things consider it? I can work with this. I can work with this.
Let's make it even more...
There it is. You know what it is? You know what it is? I know what it is.
I'm hitting right click to bring up my build inventory, and that's where I'm falling apart.
My muscle memory wants to open right there wants to bring up my build menu with right play
And that is simply not how this game works. That is not how this game
Wonderful
Well, that's pretty cool.
Man, dude, I would just get lost in this game if I had all the pieces for this.
It's probably a good thing I don't.
It's probably a very good thing I don't.
Okay.
Does this game have combat?
Oh god, yeah.
Do you not see me like putting the guns on my ship and stuff?
Oh yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
We need more of the main thrusters.
I'm gonna pop these guys up one there.
I thought I could maybe put one on the back, but it looks like I can't.
I wish I could attach the wings to these thrusters.
Every kind of badass.
No, wait, can I?
Can I?
Hold on.
What could you there?
Can you there?
Is there any place for a wing there?
I don't think so.
What does the wing do?
It looks awesome, obviously.
Okay, now you know what I think we're going to keep this word is.
We're going to have to keep that word is.
We can stick this.
Yeah, let's get cast to seal that up a little bit.
Cool.
Chad, I think that's our little ship to start with.
What do you think?
I think that'll work.
It's got all the pieces we need.
Oh, oh, oh, we didn't put the...we need a tractor.
We put that on the back?
There we go.
Okay.
Uh, oh, we need...
We need antennas
Guess I'll put one there
Maybe it's all I need. Hopefully it's all I need. Okay
Okay.
Cool.
That's all the stuff that it comes with, right, yeah.
Come on, here, ship inventories.
Claim, ship, and add to collection.
Yes.
Okay.
Okay, and now I can take the ship out
Right without destroying my other ship
Oh
I may have an engineering so far
And I
E. Let's just go ahead and move that on out a little bit.
Oh my god.
Can I put it on the end?
No.
Shoot.
That's the only place.
Oh, it has to go left or right.
It can't go up or down.
Uh, okay.
Let's just take it off for now.
Maybe it'll be enough out of us.
Okay.
We can paint it?
Oh my god, don't tell me these things.
I'm not sure you're gonna tell me we can customize the interior.
Don't say it.
Okay.
Now, can I just hit another ship as I left?
That's pretty fun.
Whoa!
I want to unlock every ship part and then build the ultimate ship.
Immediately.
Alright, let's go try one of these salvage missions.
Salvaging opportunities detected.
Let's go take a look.
Press X to get up and you can use autopilot.
That's pretty cool.
How's the bit rate?
Glorious obviously.
Just amazing.
Oh my, the glory of Nojashan.
What do we do here?
That is so badass dude, oh my gosh.
Man, it's amazing what they've done with this game.
Gravitino coil required to collect.
I don't know what that means.
We could blow it up.
Furnish the interior of your Corvette Starship.
Select Mission Radar from Build Menu and install Mission Radar.
No, I refuse.
No, no, no, I'm not going to do that.
You can have a crew.
Medipa.
Oh, we're finer units.
All right.
So I can't seemingly do anything, let's see if I can blow it up.
Contaminated metal.
That doesn't sound too good.
I don't think so. Let's try another one.
What's up Jay Reed? How you doing bud?
To the unknown signal.
Oh wait, do I have to go there?
There we go.
Did I put the tractor beam back?
I do have a tractor beam on the back of my thing, but I have no idea if that's where
it should be.
The Gravitino coil is your multi-tool?
Oh my god, what is this?
All wreckage.
Deconstruct hull components with a mining beam and tear off parts with the Gravitino
coil.
Use a Corvette-class ship, a Gravitino coil and a tractor beam to maximize amount of salvage
that you can extract from a wreck.
I don't know, I don't think I have a Gravitino port.
Is that something that I need to get for this stuff to work?
How the heck did I get up here?
Oh!
Oh, do I want to bent cargo?
I just got stuck.
I can get it from the Nexus? Okay.
Your Jimbo says your sponsor stream worked on buying the game? Nice.
You're in the top room, but you can't get here normally. There's no way for you. Wait, what?
Can I build a ladder?
Wait, am I in the bottom?
Oh, that's not right.
Um...
How do I remove that?
Like that.
I can't seemingly put this anywhere, I have made up horrible mistake, um, can I line this
to the ground or something?
How'd I get in this closed room bro?
I found a way.
Just like life.
I found a way.
Um.
Did I warp somewhere?
I can point.
You!
Gotta see to this.
Sorry man.
Um
Yeah, some of my exos get there's gotta be a way I can just fix this
If I re log with that help
You put your tractor beam next to your ship exit. The beam pulls things into this room. Oh
Is that how it works I
Didn't know that
Store
That's what it said. Yeah, but to be fair, I don't know how to read so what are you gonna do?
Okay, all right.
So I just need to make sure I avoid the tractor being, which to be clear is that.
Okay, so we probably want to put like two of those on the front of the ship, not the
back. It's just always on. Okay. We also probably want to go to the main hub and
buy one of these coil things. Yeah, grab a Tino coil. Yeah, let's do that now.
Let's do that now, before it's a thing. I'm also fix our ship here.
I think so, that should work properly.
of
Oh, I bet this area rocks now because now you can see like all the other ships that other people are making
Dude, I want to see what other people ships are like
There's one over there
Well, it's kind of like mine. It's just us two right now
I like the two extra engines in the front, that's fun.
Okay.
Let's go find the multi-tool, bro.
Oh, there's a living ship.
Those are kind of awesome, I don't think I've seen that one before, that's cool.
Nice dude.
There's an achievement for riding in someone else's Corvette.
Where is multi tool bro?
Over here, maybe?
There's that little area that have all the group of vendors.
Ah, it's here, right?
Multi-tool research.
Here, the remarkable technology transformed a multi-tool to a powerful kinetic manipulator
capable of attracting and repelling industrial waste via a localized magnetic field.
We need Gravitino Balls, a Magnetic Resonator, and Chromatic Metal.
We want to get some other stuff too.
Fishing Rig?
Oh my god.
No.
No.
No.
I'm going to get the obstacle drill though.
Nope.
Nope.
Nope. Nope.
Alright, so I think we need to warp to our base, and I don't know if we actually have anything at the base.
Let's see what, let's see, I don't remember what state we left our base in. I think in this run we weren't doing much.
So I don't know if we have any Gravitino Balls. May I have to go find some Gravitino Balls?
Um, hmm.
Did I have a freighter? Maybe.
Let's summon our freighter and see how it is.
I'm a freighter?
I'm a freighter.
There's a portal in the ship, no need to go to your ship to get to your base for freighter.
Oh, yeah, I probably should have done that.
That's okay.
That's okay.
I keep running into the big, they just stop you at the end of the station now?
They don't, they don't stop you.
Oh that's the thing we were looking for, that's the, that's the space station.
All right, so take a look here.
Do not warp freighter here.
Do you see why?
2 plus.
Oh, they don't land on their own plate.
Oh, do I like warp over to the ship somehow?
How does this work?
The other button?
Oh!
Cool.
Oh, well, damn, that's handy.
Like that.
Okay.
Let's see.
I think we were starting to build back here.
Yeah, buddy, so we definitely have some freighter development here.
Stellar extractor core.
Oh!
So there's chromatic we needed.
That worked out super well, didn't it?
Okay.
How do we build these resonators?
We've got a whole bunch of ship missions here.
Those are our fleet missions.
Where did we put our...
Oh, here's the...
The Lactic Trade Terminal.
Maybe we can find some stuff here we need.
Oh, man, it would have been nice if they had Gravitino balls.
Oh, we can even eat these though.
Perfect.
Hell yeah.
Lovely.
Lovely.
So now we need to grab a Tino ball.
So I can scan planets for this, can't I?
Let me just go down and get them.
Yeah.
Let's do it.
So I'm going to work back to my, can I work back to my ship from up here?
I'll be back down here.
There it is.
That's a support ship, this is a support ship.
Okay, if I pull this up...
scan all the planets first.
Okay, not what we need.
Nope.
It'll say Gravitino Balls on that, right?
Oh, it doesn't!
The balls are found on aggressive sentinel planets.
Is high sentinel activity okay?
Or does it have to be aggressive?
Oh, okay.
Let's go.
Thanks, chat!
There's Mr. Boatman. There he is.
They were to do this in just a sec. Let's go ahead and actually we need to find
something here first.
Uh, wait a second.
Okay, where in the heck am I looking for Gravitino balls here?
Um, is there a big NMS update? Dude, there was a giant NMS update.
Yeah, now we can do all sorts of things. It's called, uh, what is it called?
What is it called? Oh, yes.
Cosmos, there. Cosmos.
Yep.
Is the 10-year expedition released? I don't think so. I think that comes out soon-ish.
But you usually release the expeditions about a week after the big, uh, hi.
Gravitino balls are around- oh, wait a sec.
What's that?
What's that?
Yeah guys I've seen a lot of questions about Emberville, yes we're doing an Emberville
demo tomorrow but we'll talk about that later.
We'll talk about that later.
There it is, wonderful!
Extrude sent another panic
Job's done time to go
And
I'm here!
Wait, what's happening?
Wait, do I have to kill these guys?
Jerkz!
And their shields are crazy good, my lord!
We're fine chat, we're fine, this is fine.
Great. Test the Gravitino Coil at a waste processing plant. Reach the marked facility.
Oh, let's do that first!
Hell yeah, a teacher can't use this thing.
Great.
Do you have multiple ships?
Yes.
I actually have another.
This is my custom ship that I just made today out of default parts and I have another ship
that I use.
probably better than this one, but it's not a custom ship do you guys think they'll
ever had a way for us to drag our fighters around do you mean it's like a
wing oh god I hope not because you know that there would be people that would
then want to like speck out and make ships for every single one of their
Oh my god.
What is that sound?
Oh.
Or not.
It's fine.
I can just skydive out of the back of the ship instead of landing?
Then
Well, that's cool kind of love that okay
Can I teleport back to it?
Wasn't there a way to delete an item off your cursor?
I think it was click or something.
Oh, it's a middle mouse button. Thank you.
So here's the problem. Can I, like, get back to my ship?
Oh, God.
Okay. Um...
You have a ti- Oh!
What?!
Whoa!
That's cool.
Where'd my quest go?
There it is.
Dude, they need to make it so when you do this, that one of these options is we pilot
and a jet and it just makes you appear under your ship falling.
That'd be so nice.
Although knowing now that I've said that I wouldn't be surprised if there's already something in the game like that.
I don't know.
It's a very bright planet.
Where is the thing that I'm looking for?
Wait, where did my quest go?
Did I deselect it somehow?
You have to furnish the Corvette.
This is the first time I've seen this game.
What do you do in this game?
So what you do in this game is everything.
And thankfully, they guide you to do pretty much everything.
And the way they do that is through this system, the lock.
So anything you want to kind of explore or do in this game, they give you generally a
a quest line that explains how to do it and then introduces you to the mechanic.
So the short of it is, what is this game?
This game is a space sandbox exploration game.
There's combat, there's spaceship combat, but the majority of your game is going to
be exploring, doing activities, building your base, building your freighter, building your
station.
It's very much just a giant space sandbox experience.
But at this point, it's been in development for 10 years, and it is one of the most developed
platforms that gamers have at this time.
There is more to it if you buy this game, and I kid you not, I'm not kidding when I
say this, if you buy this game, you have any and you decide to like do all the things in
the game, you probably have 3-400 hours of content, and probably a lot more if you decide
to really dive into some of those mechanics.
I know people who have over 2,000 hours in this game over the 10 years they've been playing,
they still wait for every update with a drooling mouth and
bated breath. So what this, what No Man's Sky is, is it's
essentially a lot of companies try to make products that you
would call platforms. And what a platform product is, is it's a
product that you just can keep working with and using and
basing things off for years and years to come. A lot of
companies try to make platforms and they fail because either the
platform doesn't pick up or it just doesn't work.
No Man's Sky is one of the best examples of a platform product that the devs not only
support but have kept updating and supporting for a decade, and we can count the number
of products like this on one hand that exist in our reality.
So it is an exceptionally well-built, well-fleshed out, verbose, giant game to explore and do.
Especially if you get into it now.
Here's the most, there's two important things.
There is a mind-blowing amount of things to do in this game.
But second, and this is most important,
there are almost no limits
that make you do things fast,
or if you don't do things in the right order,
give you a worse experience.
And what I mean by that is,
Because even though this game is huge, do not let that turn you off from it.
This isn't a path of exile.
This isn't like if you don't know all the things, you're not going to get the best experience.
That's not how this game works.
A big part of this game is actually exploring and learning all this stuff you don't know.
That's like the game in this.
It's not like in an ARPG where if you don't know the math, if you don't know the mechanics,
you have less power.
In this game, the lack of knowing what to do, the lack of knowing where to go, the lack
of really, in some cases, even understanding what's going on, that's the content.
That's what you do in this game.
And it's really, really good.
So it's, yeah, I've, you've saw my save game list and that's just the ones in recent memory.
I do play throughs of this game every couple of few years.
They generally last between 40 and 60 hours a run.
And anytime I have time, or they do a big update, I tend to come back.
But yeah, it's a great game, dude.
I have hundreds and hundreds of hours in this game, and I love it.
I have the Permadeath Achievements Azrael.
That is, that sounds cool.
That sounds cool.
All right, so we're gonna go check this out.
We'll try a black fire here, because we didn't get the tutorial on how to use this thing, but we're gonna figure it out, Chad.
We're gonna figure it out.
We also didn't redesign our ship, but we'll try this first. I'm gonna see what we do first.
I get bored quite quickly this game. Well at heart this is a sandbox game. So I mean
a part of the motivation of this game is going to be just making your own goals and then
trying to accomplish those goals, but if you don't, if you're not the kind of person that
like, if you're not the kind of person that this game has your mind setting those goals,
then just like any sandbox game, you're not going to have a lot of impetus to keep moving forward,
you know. What is this? A stasis locker. What do I do with you? You're glowing green. I feel like
I feel like I want it.
But I don't know why I don't know.
Um...
Can I like shoot this?
Cool!
Okay.
What's this thing?
Damage panel.
Dude, this is, this is like a rudimentary version of the game, but I don't think I'm
rudimentary version of that hardshakes ship or hardspace shipbreaker game
Well, dude, I bet I could just like oh
Man, we need to yeah, you know what we need to redo our ship because I'm gonna put my tractor through
I'm getting some weird warping in this game, and I don't know why.
I think I'm doing it, but I don't know what I'm doing.
Alright, let's go back and fix our tractor beam, versus go see if we can sell some of
this stuff, and then I want to go fix our tractor beam.
Yeah, I want our tractor beam to be on the front of our ship.
But before we do that, we did get some contaminated metal, so let's go to the tradeout post and
see what that looks like.
you to sell it. Here. Let's see how lucrative this is.
Is this a fresh start or an old save? This is our last run, so this is an older save.
They are, it's kind of like, let's see the best way to save.
When you start this game, there is a set of things you have to do.
You really have to kind of get a foundation laid before you really start getting in there.
It's a really fun foundation to do, but I've done it probably like nine times at this point,
and I didn't like I'm only I know I was only gonna play this for two hours, so I didn't
really want to spend like an hour and a half kind of doing all the stuff I've done a bunch
of times.
I almost never start without starting a new run, but I knew I was gonna have a time this time.
So, yeah.
You can skip all that now?
Then...
Really?
I don't know.
Technology recharged.
That's cool.
All Americans I don't know how to play this game the way you play this game is
you open up your log and you click on what you want to do and you do that they
did make a very solid log system in this game there's multiple main quests to
do these are generally quests that like explain how to do things like if you
You want to build a base, if you want to learn how to build a ship, if you want to learn
how to do resplikes, it can kind of be all down here is all the stuff that you can learn
how to do.
You can ignore this if you want, especially if you already know how to do it.
But if you want to learn about any of this stuff, it'll tell you how to do it.
So big thing, if you want to know where to go next, top section.
If you want to learn and kind of explore bottom section, and if you need more stuff in your
bottom section, is that a phrasing?
No, I don't think so.
And try going to the anomaly if you've unlocked that and walk around and talk to everyone.
Go to the space ships, they're the space stations in different areas and talk to everyone there.
And a lot of times just by talking to them you'll open up a lot of those quests.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I definitely would need more stuff in my bottom section but I got quite a dumpy
as it is.
So, yeah.
What are you gonna do?
Yeah.
What are you gonna do?
What a cool station.
Hey bud.
Issuec module malfunctions.
Tuzze Rukryuchuk, no Wifa was sunk.
Interloper!
The word's sweating profusely.
The cynic beads begin to drip upon their armor.
Practice language skills.
Unnerving me, Enforced Jewa's flesh ripples with anticipation.
I hurry to think of an appropriate word to say.
Warrior!
Enforced Jewa looks stunned. They ask me to repeat the word, but I do. They immediately present me with a gift!
Nice.
Hi.
Grah! Pathetic interloperay fang suck. Will rena lahana let others? The quartermaster
gestures what, weirdly, shoving a data packet into my hands. They do not seem interested
in our further conversations. If you're listening to the stream right now and you have no idea
what's going on, so the way the language works in this game is that you learn words
from each race, and until you learn the word, they basically put, like, a jumble in place
of that. So if you're wondering why I'm over here sounding like the guy from
from Podrace back in the day, Koopa the guy! Yeah, it's more because those are
just words we don't know yet. Yeah.
Salvage claim.
hmm now this isn't oh is this it where do I put my contaminated metal
Oh, so I need a reactor core and I can get an exosuit upgrade chart and explore standing.
If I get antibiotics from whatever this is.
So these are different, these must be different things.
prospects. Oh, client friends of the space whale. That's great. Okay, we're not gonna do this right
now, but that's good to know. I need to find out. I we're supposed to be able to get something for
There are...
Remembrance required.
Oh, okay. I don't even know what that is.
I think we can process the metal here.
You have to do five contract versions to claim a space station.
Oh, that's cool.
Where do we process the stuff we've been looting?
Is that this thing? Where's this thing?
It looks like...
Hmm...
Can I open the overseer again?
Oh, okay, okay.
Oh, my lord.
Talked about funny gaming things real quick, super 20 second segway.
There's a game right now called War Dogs, and there are so many people trying to queue
for it that they had to reset the queue and they're kicking everyone from it, and apparently
the issue with the queue is because some of the tech they're using for their queue is
based on steam, and the steam stuff is bottlenecking.
Oh no!
Oh no!
Oh lord.
I think that may be a first.
We'll have to see.
Apparently they're already talking about having to do a post-mortem about it, so we'll have
We'll have to see there. Apparently they're already talking about having to do a post more about it. So we'll see. Oh, here we go
Yeah, we'll talk about that later. Um, so we can buy
All of this stuff with contaminated metal, okay, but
How do I see where mine is I guess I have to carry it on me it doesn't it doesn't do it for my ship
Oh starship inventory. Oh, we don't have that much do we we only have a little bit. Okay. I mean more than 23 though
Wait, wait, I think I'm missing a step.
I don't just have this in my starship.
Do I?
Oh, I do right there.
I have 116 contaminated metal.
That's what you want?
Contaminated metal.
So if I switch to starship inventory, why can I not buy this 23 contaminated metal thing?
Why is that red?
Your ship is out of range?
But it's landed on the landing pad for the space station.
What?
I can...
That's...
Weird.
You do need the metal in your inventory, okay.
I would have thought that if the landing pad would mean that it would work.
Huh.
That's strange, but okay.
So I just go over to here and I can just trade, right?
If I do that here somewhere, like trade with ship.
I don't remember where to do that.
It's been a hot minute.
That's what some of the people, maybe I can't do that.
You need to upgrade your Corvette for the range.
Oh, oh, I didn't realize that, cool, thanks Chad, interesting, I sort this, oh my gosh,
Mira, I don't know if you're watching, I'm so sorry.
Okay, anyway.
Oh, there it is.
Resort inventory by type, beautiful.
Resort inventory by color.
Oh, that's cool.
Awesome.
Great.
Okay, so now that we're here,
we have this in our inventory now.
Somewhere, there it is.
Pertaminated metal.
Torn fragments of old industrial components, years of decay have left it pocked by exotic
oxides and faintly irradiated.
This material requires deep processing before it can be recycled into new components.
Alright, so actually we're just going to keep it on us for now, but let's go over to a
station, a space station.
I want to read it and ship a little bit to make this tractor beam a little more user-friendly.
another stream would be great I can expand on that another stream for sure
use tractor beam on ship to eject contents then use grab gun to grab
ejected stuff and throw into bin on landing pad
hold up I want to try this
So wait, what was all that metal that I got already?
Where was that?
I thought the metal that I got was the stuff that I was putting in the tractor beam being
processed.
Oh, now I'm confused.
Hold up.
Oh, now I'm confused. Hold up.
Did that work?
I am definitely ejecting car- oh, here.
Oh.
So, these we can just sell for money?
Dude.
You're parched.
Time for a drink.
Okay.
all right let's fix this up I'm gonna put the I'm gonna put the talk to beam
right on the front of our ship
So can we just plan the co-server in Wardogs bro if you can't log in you can't I think
you have to log in first and then you get the service like I don't think it's like
you can just pick a server like they're they're having people they can't get people logged
into the service and as a whole. Yeah, it's gonna be a man.
Alright, so we're gonna go right into our construction stuff here. I have to admit, building the ship was a lot easier than I thought it would be, especially to get it to viability.
I'm used to that. I want more parts though. I really want... I need to figure out how to unlock more parts.
Indy Falco, send me a message on Discord.
Hmm. Okay, we want to modify you.
You're gone.
All of you are gone. Can I fit you there? Yes, okay. So then we're gonna have you
Be here
Who the heck is it? Oh wait what?
I took it off. Why can't I put it back? Did I do that wrong? What just happened?
Check my storage?
Oh, weird.
Wait, what?
Wait, wait, it's in my storage, but I can't use it?
What's going on?
Um...
Oh, sorry this.
Oh, sorry, this. Come on. Can I just move things over without having to drag?
X. Oh, look, it's not... Wait, why is this not registering as a spaceship item?
Oh, that's weird.
Let's get to the line.
Do we eye yes, please?
Please, do you believe in me?
Do you believe in me?
Hmm.
Broke.
Product received.
It's not typically a spaceship item.
Well, it's working now, so whatever, I'm here.
All right, so we're gonna put that there.
Wait, what? Why can't I put you on the top?
Oh, because it has to connect.
Okay. It has to connect.
Okay, so I'm gonna pull you up
Put you there
Hmm
Man, I'm not gonna worry about that
I think I actually might keep it just like this I think that might work it's a
little it's a little form over function but excuse me function over form yeah I
think we'll take that was there anything else we wanted to change I don't think so
Oh, we gotta put some guns back on.
That's a lot of guns.
You love to see it.
Great.
Wonderful. Easy peasy.
I have made a huge mistake.
That looks better.
Okay, that'll work a little wonky, but we'll take it.
All right, let's head over
All right, let's go to
Here
The sister of Suriyama.
You're able to summon your freighter now, you sure can.
Whoa.
What the hell is that shit?
Bro, is that someone else's?
No.
That's not a player ship, is it?
No.
Right?
No.
That's an NPC just chilling?
That ship looks awesome.
Damn.
I like the little orbiting debris ring
Wait, what?
Oh.
Oh
I am so sorry
Oh, dude, I am so glad we moved this, this is perfect.
Man I was getting way too close.
Wait, wait, this one does not want to...
I'm holding right click right now.
If I tap it,
it tur- okay, if it's red, does that mean it's not being used?
If I... It turns white when I do it like that, but I can't seem to do anything with it.
What am I doing right now?
What am I left and right things doing?
I have to destroy it?
Maybe it's stuck.
Oh, it's got... It got glitched inside. It is stuck.
Okay, so normally it will just...
That. That's what they normally do. Okay.
Just gotta sometimes...
Flip it down back in reverse yet as Missy would say, I'm just gonna keep going.
All right, let's see here.
Here.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
Yes.
Flare.
How do you go up?
Okay, space is up.
What's down?
Control?
Is there a down?
Can I go down? It's not sea. It's not control. It's not shift. It's not alt. It's not alt.
Oh, whoa.
Yunk?
Great.
If you're making money, buddy.
There we go.
Oh.
So that's how you know it's stuck.
If you do the line thing and it doesn't fly over to you, then it's stuck and you don't
need to worry about it.
Yeah.
Cool.
Oh, whoa.
I don't even know what that was.
Oh, you just ripped out the fusion core?
Yeah, look at that.
There's like a piece in there.
Oh, there it is.
Whoa! Hell yeah!
It's gonna go ahead and mute for that, sounds really weird.
I love- oh my god, look at this!
Wow!
Look at all that stuff in there!
Cool, man!
That's awesome!
It actually shows everything in your ship.
I love that.
Okay, so let's go back and let's put- let's process all this and see what we get from
it.
Hmm, cute.
It has really been online for over six hours?
I have.
Yes.
I normally take like a lunch break and chill, but today has been a thing.
I'm gonna try to make it back for cozy tonight, but I don't know. I don't know. I will do my best though
This eats bit rate so bad it doesn't
Have you ever played this game in VR I have not played this game in VR no
If you open your inventory while in flight, the bitrate problem goes away.
Well, that makes sense, because the stuff wouldn't be on the screen.
But then how would you guys complain about it?
I don't understand.
Yeah, I'm just driving engagement shot as you do, right?
That's what I'm supposed to do.
I can only imagine what that looks like after like you've been salvaging for an hour.
Oh man.
Oh, wait, what?
There's no zero G here?
Oh no.
Oh no.
Wait.
Oh. Wait. You're telling- what?
I have to manually move every one of these over to that thing?
Oh wait!
Wait, one of them went in, I think.
Oh, wait.
Okay, so it seems to have a really big, they should totally make it so this whole platform.
If you throw something up on this platform, it should totally just get sucked in.
Because that's gonna get really annoying if you have a bunch of stuff.
Oh man.
If you like look at that and click, it should like suck it in.
from wherever you are on the platform maybe that's how it works hold on
we just have to roll them in chat that's all we just have to roll them in
Oh, oh, oh, yeah, look at that perfect
Oh, I don't know about that one
Okay, let's go that's close
You probably parked that direction next time no, I think it auto I think it auto does your
ship. But what we can do, you know what we could do? I just realized something. We don't
have to land before we eject our cargo. So theoretically, we could like plant our ship
in front of it and then eject the cargo. Wait a second, I wonder if we hold on. Oh,
hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I wonder if we do that if all the cargo will automatically
go inside from the ejection. Let's test. Let's test. We're doing science, Kat. We're doing science.
Oh, is it not on unless we land? Wait, wait, wait. That may not matter. That may not matter.
Oh no, it's on. It's definitely on. It's definitely on.
Okay, so I need to get like as close as possible. Am I there? Yeah, I'm pretty much there. I'm pretty much there.
Okay. It's kind of hard because I can't see the front of the ship.
I want to put it like, there.
Do some science chat.
And even if this doesn't like get sucked in, if it still puts it where we can work with it, it's great. That'll work.
There's some weird warping bugs in this game.
Look at the Corvettes.
Uh.
Okay, so it doesn't go directly in, but that's what we were talking about earlier, like being
able to do this is what we were talking about.
Okay.
Yeah, you know, honestly?
Okay, yeah, you know honestly, I think there's an easy fix for this
The dev should just make it so whenever you land on this it automatically points your ship at that
That's all I need to do
Yeah
That or just make it so there's like maybe one of these on each side of the platform
That would also work
And that way it wouldn't matter where you put your tractor beam on just wherever you land there'd be like a thing near it
That would work
Back to rear cargo. Yeah, you know actually having the the
Having the thing on the back of the ship seems to make the most sense with how the ship lands
Yeah, you're right
It's good it's gonna be a lot closer to the back in the front
No
All right, we're gonna go to another system because I want to see what kind of variety we can get in these missions
It's just any anywhere is fine
Can you move the garbage disposal building to where the cargo is ejected no you this is an NPC space station
It's not my space. Yeah, so how the plane lands and where things are are not decided by me
Oh, we got three unknown signals here.
Let's see what they are.
I
I find it interesting that the ship seems to rotate on a cylinder, then on an axis.
Well, I guess it's because of the perspective of the cockpit.
That makes sense.
Alright, let's see, I don't want to do this, let's put you here.
Oh no!
Oh, no!
So we have three minutes before this thing explodes?
What are the green things?
Oh...
Oh, fuel rod containment, that's a color we don't really know.
Oh, this is like...
Reactor...
Oh!
Action, forward.
Can I get it?
Yeah, look at this thing.
Oh.
We push it.
We push it.
Bam.
That looks radiation-y.
I'm gonna get that looked at.
What is that?
What is that?
That looks radiation. I want to get that looked at.
What is this?
Cool. Wait, wait.
Oh, we gotta do each little one?
Oh god, it's going- oh, it's hitting stuff!
Oh god, oh god.
I don't know.
You're gonna do those lights?
How much time we got?
It's pretty warm right here.
I don't know if it's gonna like blow us up if we're here.
Run away, meltdown detected time before wreck, expedite remaining salvage operation.
Activate advanced jetpack controls with shift and Q&E.
Whoa!
Oh, that's how we do that.
Oh, cool.
Oh, no!
Super-challenging levels are stabilizing.
Cool, look at that!
Bad ass!
Dang!
That's fun dude.
Very cool.
Okay, see what we got next. Man, I wonder how many different things can be at these...
Let's go.
What are we doing now? We're harvesting the new resource as one of the the things that you can do in the Cosmos update is that
There is a new map for the system as you just saw me open. I'll show you again
This is the new map and this is a system map unlike the
galaxy map
So this one actually is just the system you're in and these are all little events that can pop up
And they all have different types of harvestables. Some of them are places you can build a base
So actually this place right here. There's nothing to actually do with this location
There's not like any, as far as I know, there's not like a resource to get or anything.
But if you go to this location, then you can get a, a beacon, you can see there's a beacon
right there.
And if you use that beacon, then you can actually build a base right there in the middle of
this little field.
You can start your base right there if you want to.
You can also apparently take over space stations and then form alliances and stuff.
So, what's the benefit of building your base right there though?
Well, first of all, it is super cool.
Second of all...
I think it's just a place to build a base, I don't think it's like, I don't think it
gives bonuses that I don't know about, maybe there's something cool there.
I do not know.
Okay, this is interesting.
So I've run out of fuel, normally a bunch of bees pop up, right, because I don't think
I need fuel, right?
What do I need for my pulse engine?
Trident?
I don't think I need fuel, right?
What do I need for my pulse engine?
Trident?
I'm sorry.
Beautiful.
Lovely.
Alright, where are we going?
We're going...here.
Check out the space station, Odin?
Oh, god.
I don't think I'm gonna have time, unfortunately, but the space station, apparently, to get the space station is going to be five of the milestone missions that you can get from the kiosk that's in the central area between the two main buildings.
I don't think I'm gonna have enough time to do that in the next two minutes.
Time we can try. I am pretty quick, but...
Oh dude, is that their teleporter ring right there? What is all this?
Whoa.
Whoa, what is all this stuff?
What what's going on here I can't I can't hold shift
I can't change my weapon I can't seem to go fast
Oh, what is this?
Hey.
Okay, uh, I'm done with the sponsor stream in about a minute.
You guys ready?
Yes.
Thanks, baby.
What is this?
Oh, wait, can we get in there?
Can we get any of this?
Well, I don't know, but just like many of the mysteries of this game, you'll have to find
them out all on your own!
This has been No Man's Sky, and if you have not heard of this game in the last 10 years,
man, there has never been a better time to check it out.
It is one of the biggest space sandbox games you can get.
There is literally hundreds of hours in this game.
And for, I believe one of the first times, thank you to Hello Games for sponsoring
the last two hours of this stream.
We really appreciate that.
That's super cool of them.
Uh, they know that we have hundreds of hours in this game anyway.
So that was very nice of them to do that.
Thanks to the team.
Very cool of them.
And if you haven't picked up this game, like I said, there's,
every, every update that goes through this game pretty much makes it the
best time to buy that game when it hits. There's always new stuff. And granted,
although we may not get the same 10 years we got for the last 10 years,
this game already has a ton of content already. They have light, no fire coming
out soon. There's going to be a bunch of stuff probably in that from this.
So it's great to play this now and kind of get your up, get your hand on it.
And it's just pretty great. So anyway, thanks again to the devs.
Thanks again to you guys. I'm out of here for now.
I've got a bunch of meetings I need to do.
I'm going to try to make it back for more tonight, but I'm going to be honest with
I'm not sure. I am pretty blasted after the last seven hours. And yeah, I think I'm going to go
ahead and we may take a little break tonight. But that being said, thank you so much for being here.
I will see you all a little bit later. Have a great one after the evening. We're everywhere
around the globe. And as always, thank you so much for your time. See you in a little bit. Bye-bye.
We will be able to find you.
My friends.
family and neighbors these are trying times as you know we have a visitor in
our midst some of you may see them distrust while others praise them
through their valiant journeys to the vatrometers this wanderer will aid us in
our path of restoration. But they will not be alone.
They will lend them the skills we have gathered, supporting their efforts with craftsmanship,
might and magic. And as they claim more victories against their enemies, so will their mastery
increase. The task ahead will not be an easy one, as the dangers to face are many. But together,
we will endure, as we always have. Stay strong against the menacing shadows. Do not let your

I'm gonna stock up.
Sheesh.
You stood your heart on the wall for my account notes.
God, I love that picture.
Why, if that isn't just the sweetest thing.
Hi.
I went into the ladies bathroom.
Turns out I'm an ultra-perv.
I look nothing like I thought of my head.
There weren't any toilets.
and use the restroom. It had to leave some questions unanswered.
I am so dirty right now. Dirty, dirty boy. Explore. It's a tentacle. I love tentacles.
Ooh! A penetrator! Right in the center of this. I do love me some penetration.
What? Oh, Co couldn't unlock it.
Yes, the door, it's giving in!
Having speed captain!
Oh hi.
Yay! It's like you're well again!
Hooray! Oh Jesus Christ!
Oh Jesus Christ!
Jesus
He's gone. Oh god, he's gonna slam against a glass
I
Thank you
Oh look here's my friend. Oh hey bud
I'm gonna I'm gonna go on ahead
This right in front of me!
It's a zero.
It's a zero. It's far enough.
You know who else is gone?
What?
Barry!
We can't kill Barry?
I'm not gonna kill him.
For real?
For real.
Yeah, you're saying that the heroes should be careful.
What are you talking about, Dan? I'm fine.
You sound fabulous, never mind. Keep going.
Thanks, Dan!
Ten.
Four on the EMS.
She's hunting. She's in the room. She's in the room with you.
Barry, you're gonna die.
Oh, God darn it.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
Guts on it!
Very dead.
We're at a tree.
Yep, very dead.
Hey, very good news.
Tonight I'm going to focus on killing Cervani.
Yay!
You died?
Yes, he did. This is all we left.
you
