A lot of people, when they think back to my League of Legends career and history, right?
One of the things that you as a new viewer are going to always hear about is the Don
Test Korea trip.
Okay?
So what I'm going to do right now is I'm actually going to tell you guys why that is, what happened,
and why no, I will not be smurfing.
Okay?
Listen up.
So I went to Korea with about 15 other streamers.
Every single streamer that I went there with was somebody that was more respected in terms
of rank than I.
I'm talking about people that have been ranked 1 for years, people that have been challenger
for years, people that have been challenger since before the time I even started streaming,
notoriously good players.
And when I went to Korea, I only had one mission, to prove that I was as good as not only I
said I was, but that I knew I was.
So every single day, I queued up and I would literally play for 20 hours, 20 hours a day.
It was 30 games a day, screaming my lungs out until 4 in the morning while I was in
a hotel and there were four other streamers in different rooms but in the same like complex
as me, right? And I had up until that time done the most demonic run that Western players
had done. I went from unranked to diamond with a 91% rate, all solo queue, right? Got
hard suck for a few days, and then afterwards rocketed to Challenger, rocketed. Now, while
this was happening, right, it was still earlier in the season, so since cutoffs were lower,
I got to a point where I would say rank 30. So what ended up happening was at one point
the entire hotel got IP banned, entire hotel. And the reason why was because one of the
shimmers, right? He had gotten banned on his accounts and as a result it changed
and it's like everybody else, right? And for the next two weeks, I remember
sitting there and I remember just fucking literally being an alcoholic, right?
Because it's like I just wanted to sit there and prove that I was as good as I
knew I was, but every single day I would start on a new account, I'd get banned.
No account, bad. No account, bad, right? And it's like I would wake up, I'd plan an account for two days, we'd go 20 wins, two losses, bad, right?
And eventually it got to a point where with two days left until I was supposed to leave, that's when Riot actually unbanned all the accounts, right?
right because by that point the two weeks expired. And I remember just feeling nothing but like
emptiness but even then with only like one or two days left, I still queued up on that account
which at the time had decayed to Grandmaster and I brought it back to Challenger, right? Now the
reason why I tell you guys this story is for context, right? But the reason why it's important for
if you know the context, right,
is because it relates to the situation.
Now, when I hit challenger, I told everybody something.
And if you guys listen to the never enough
Korea hard sell speech, you'll know that there's one line
in that speech, right, one stands up,
where I say, now we'll go on a new account
and we'll go from unranked to challenger
with the highest one rate ever, right?
So, none of that actually happening was once we had Challenger, I started a new account.
And I remember sitting there playing against gold players, stomping their heads in.
But I felt absolutely nothing, literally nothing.
So after one day of that, literally one day of smurfing, I said, fuck this shit.
The only way I know I'm going to feel anything is if I queue up on my main, so that's what I did, you know.
And that's why it's like, yes, right now I could go on a smurf.
I could go on another master's account, I could go on a diamond account, I could sit there, I could do anything I wanted to.
But the only thing that's going to make me feel anything right now is if I manage to progress
this account even further. Because yeah, challenger is great. Yeah, challenger is nice. Yeah, challenger
is shiny. But it's something that I've done every season and every split since 2021. Five years,
I've hit it every single time. So for me, it's like what I know would motivate me
is not playing on a new account, it's not doing this or doing that. It's chewing on
this one. And don't get me wrong, right now chewing on another account is the
safer play, you know? Like I have challengers secured, I prove myself once
again, why not just go on a master's account, collect your winnings, and then
Afterwards just sit there and be able to say your challenger right but then be able to like choke you for like eight hours
And then just vibe that's what 90% of people would do you know
But for me, I want to feel something again because yesterday
Like I'm telling guys I felt something in that last game when that game was fucking ending

So it's like rather than sitting there and just doing the safe play and just camping
challenger and this or that, you know, I would rather say fuck it all, risk it all, but then
have the highest potential for really sitting there and unlocking my love and my passion
