One of my favorite, one of my favorite mods for Dark Souls 3 is called,
it's like poke poke souls or something or no no it's called pocket souls it
basically turns the entire game into Pokemon and like so you need basically
you start the mod and you get these items in your inventory called like
pokeballs or that's not what they're called I don't fucking remember what
they're called but they're basically pokeballs and you have to you you you can
throw, so you get you get pokeballs which have like a percentage chance you can
throw them at enemies and they have a percentage chance to capture the enemy
and then once you capture the enemy you can summon it and use it yourself. So
like the progression of the progression of that mod is like going through the
game and trying to collect all the Pokemon, which the Pokemon are basically just, you
know, enemies in the game. The balance was awful, like in, yeah, the, the final, there's
like a, an ultimate, like what, what, what are they, I don't play Pokemon, so I don't
actually know what it's called. It's like, um, the, the like trainer fights or the, well,
That's like the final fight of like Pokemon.
The gym boss, oh no, the elite four, yeah, yeah.
So there's like an elite four fight at the end of the mod,
and it's really fucking hard.

So, I actually, so the Bloodborne Randomizer used to crash like all the fucking time.
But uh... basically we... um... a modder basically fixed all of the crashes in the Bloodborne
Rando.
Which is pretty sick, because it used to fucking crash all the time.
I'm on the emulator.
So it's still crashing.
So the last time I played it crashed three times in six hours, which is pretty good by
Bloodborne Randomizer standards.
The modder fixed two more crashes.
Two of the three crashes that I had the last time I did this randomizer,
the modder already fixed those crashes. So we are using the new patch.
So maybe all the crashes are fixed now? I'm not sure.
Yeah, you can rando the DLC and also you can get chalice enemies and chalice bosses.
The only issue with Bloodborne is that, but the randomizer isn't key item randomization.
And so I'm I'm commissioning the same guy who fixed the crashes to make a blood a new blood-borne randomizer with key item rando
The randomizer also has a bug with the bosses
To basically the bosses in this game like if you get
it's cleric beast.
Or like, let's say you get Amelia in...
Well, the current, the current Rando is also item Rando,
but just not key items.
The only important items that are randomized currently
is the blood gem workshop tool.
And I guess the ruin workshop tool,
but the ruin workshop tool doesn't really matter as much.

Skill is such an OP stat in this game, yeah.
For those who don't know, every five levels in skill you hit a break point which increases
the damage of your riposte.
So if you have a weapon that's like mixed scaling between strength and skill in this
game it's always better to go for skill.
Pretty much if, well maybe not always but most of the time.
Yeah, every five levels in skill will increase your repost damage, or at least maybe it's
every level, but from what I know, it's every five levels.

Well, I mean, I don't really take that much damage, so...
Luckily, MOP is fucked.
This is why we like scaling.
I don't know, the problem is I feel like if you did no scaling, you're just gonna end
up in situations like you're gonna, I don't know, you're just gonna be resetting so much
to like if you get a DLC boss early on, you're probably just fucked or you're gonna have
like an hour-long fight which...
In my opinion, fighting a boss for an hour is not very enjoyable.
And the end game is... yeah, it's... I don't know, that's... unfortunately, I feel like
randomizers have not figured out a way to make the difficulty balance, like... I mean,
I guess that's part of... that's just part of randomizers, though. You don't... you don't
want every run to be the same, necessarily, like, in terms of difficulty, like... but...
Yeah, because if you have scaling on, the early game ends up being generally too easy.
It's the same way in Elven Ring, right?
If you have scaling on, the early game is just really boring because everything dies
so easily and you're not really too scared.
Granted, you can still die even with scaling on, but it's just like the chance is way less.
