[00:00:08] want to talk about, and so I got that sense at dinner that I think the guys are feeling

[00:00:15] it, that they've got a kill in their sights and it doesn't mean anything, I've gotten

[00:00:22] the same song and dance from players and then watched them wipe on the boss for the

[00:00:25] next 10 hours, so by no means a guarantee that we'll be seeing a kill tonight, but

[00:00:30] Usually those those kind of

[00:00:34] Conversations that we were seeing at dinner or preface to a boss kill soon. So for context

[00:00:41] Genji had just devoured

[00:00:44] Beautiful burger, you know lamb burger from our chef Julia

[00:00:49] Was a beef was a long it was beef. Okay, so Genji for context

[00:00:53] He devours these two burgers, you know

[00:00:55] He's got his protein for the day his calories and then he starts just he's just patient up and down

[00:01:01] He's going from here to here talking to this guy to this guy to this guy

[00:01:05] So I don't know what Genji's personal habits are

[00:01:07] But if that's anything to tell from a man who's consistently first on the damage meter and who is probably I think one of the most

[00:01:15] Top three geared people in the world. I think Fraggo might actually be the most geared

[00:01:19] That's the behavior of a man that is

[00:01:54] There's like I think one of two conditions where you blow your sleep schedule first is the last boss

[00:01:59] Where you're at the point where any given day is potentially the last day of the race

[00:02:04] So we saw some of that last race as we were

[00:02:08] trying to take down Laura and

[00:02:10] We started getting some kind of weird

[00:02:12] hours where for multiple days in a row it felt like whoever goes to bed first loses

[00:02:18] and each time that one of the guilds went to bed they were sure they were gonna

[00:02:23] wake up to the announcement the other guild had killed it and then lo and

[00:02:26] behold they woke up and the boss wasn't dead and then we repeated that for like

[00:02:29] two days in a row. Can you give me like some uh can we do a little caption

[00:02:32] contest right here? I don't know that I've ever seen these two sitting at the same

[00:02:37] this is insane you know like you you ever seen the guy over the laptop

[00:02:40] thing yeah yeah yeah what do you think they're saying right now it's a damage

[00:11:47] That was one that did not favor liquid. I believe the nerf came in

[00:11:52] before their day started and the nerf was substantial enough that they went to bed with the boss being alive and looking

[00:12:00] unkillable in the time they were going to go to bed.

[00:12:04] They woke up to the boss being dead because the nerf hit, I think a few hours before they were supposed to go live

[00:12:09] and Echo then probably killed it.

[00:12:11] What's the protocol in that situation?

[00:12:13] Is there like a liquid water in the facility?

[00:12:17] I assume there's some sort of similar contingency here, right?

[00:12:22] if like 3 a.m. not really liquid get like a 1% pull surely

[00:12:25] there's like an alarm bell that goes off in the hotel not

[00:12:28] really and they start dragging the players out of bed like

[00:12:30] go get please go kill like you would you would like to

[00:12:33] think that but the problem is that it is it both takes

[00:12:37] enough time for that to happen to actually get everyone up

[00:12:41] and then get them like ready and get down to the facility

[00:12:45] that it would probably do more harm than good because in

[00:12:48] situation that Liquid was in, by the time the boss got nerfed and it became obvious that like,

[00:12:54] oh my god, this boss is gonna die imminently, if you had started trying to wake everyone up,

[00:12:58] which would be a dicey proposition because you have to get everyone up. So even like one person

[00:13:03] is missing or late or whatever, you've sort of blown a hole in your plan. But then if it

[00:13:08] turns out you were wrong, and the boss wasn't immediately going to die, you've now screwed

[00:13:14] everyone's sleep schedule up, everyone's showing up groggy out of it and so at a certain point

[00:13:19] Yeah, you just kind of have to accept that like hopefully the boss doesn't die before our day starts

[00:13:24] And we show up when we show up and we continue as planned

[00:13:29] But yeah, once once players are in bed

[00:13:33] It is kind of what it is and you just gotta let them you gotta let them sleep because the

[00:13:39] The consequences of getting them out of bed in the middle of the night for that kind of

[00:13:43] thing are like too dire to get wrong.
