I'm a little concerned for the warrior rage nerves.
I haven't leveled the warrior yet.
They definitely want to normalize rage.
I think, this is my opinion, and I haven't leveled the warrior yet to know.
However, some people aren't gonna like to hear this.
I think that if you normalize rage gain, and it doesn't have to be like a hard normalization,
it could be like a soft normalization where it's like a range.
I think if you normalize it, they make it much easier to balance and they don't scale
out of control as much.

The rages that are controlled because the world bills are removed from raids.

But with that being said, we don't really know how it's going to pan out until level
60, which kind of sucks, actually.

kind of like a loaded word.
But if you want to try and get the proper tuning down for warriors, they could generate
less rage, but their abilities and, you know, it goes up somewhere.

So like, hey, we're going to sprinkle a little bit of extra here, but then you take away
here.
Hey, your rage doesn't just scale out of control as you get more and more gear into doing more
damage, and you have world buffs and stuff.
Instead, we're going to normalize that down a little bit, not like a hard line.
I think it shouldn't be a hard line.
I think it should be a range.
So you still feel that feeling a little bit.
It just shouldn't be as hard.
And then something's got to give somewhere.
Hey, if you want to scale this down,
you've got to buff them up somewhere else, right?
And vice versa.
If you want to bring this back up, it's got to do this.
That's my opinion.
Two weeks of testing for every 20 levels is too much.
They should have lifted already to 30.

but it's kind of stupid, like buff management
and stuff like that's all part of the class.
Now, on that same accord, I will say this,
the fact that your buffs last an hour
kind of goes against that line of thinking,
and that's why I don't like the hour-long buffs.

weapons, so it doesn't do this. Now, because I have a shield on next time, it does the
same thing. It goes here, checks for this and says, okay, you have a shield on, so we're

And the next one is just simply two-handed.

The reason why that you can't do that right now pops up

and that was the Nostalrius Core Private Servers.

But you had Nost and then they shut down and then Elysium took over and then Elysium got
hijacked.
been many years, and I still don't think I do but I don't. Or I think I don't but I
do. Where am I?
Okay, thank you. So, what I'm saying is like, Nostalrius which then went to Elysium that
took over, which then got hijacked, which then went to Lights Hope, and then they made
Northdale Fresh and yada, yada, yada, right?
So the big thing is when they came out and they said,
you think you do what you don't,
they're looking at it from like a patch 1.12,
no changes standpoint, essentially,
or like what they remember from vanilla.
And on Nostalgia, they went and they made changes.
They had progressive itemization.
They had a proper patch progression
where they added new items into the game,
where they updated items,
where they did things that they thought were blizz-like,
they thought that's how they occurred in vanilla,
but maybe they didn't,
or maybe they weren't actually coded or written that way,
but that's just what the player base thought
because of what they saw,
and those things were actually good.
For example,
they didn't put any of the items.
Well, there was also some other decisions
were made like because they had the later patch items in the game from the beginning you had
things like savage gladiator chain not the tanking version that was male you had the DPS
version that was changed going into a Q 40 you know no I don't mean turtle wow turtle
wow was something else entirely guys look listen if you're saying turtle wow if you're
saying, whatever else, like all the new classic plus versions or whatever. Listen,
let grandpa speak. Okay. That's all I'm talking about the, the, I'm talking about the reason why
we have classic in the first place. Okay. Like grandpa speak. Okay.
The, they made a lot of different active changes to those versions of the game,
and they were actively monitoring it, changing things like, Hey, if there was like a form that
that was too good, they would just nerf it,
they would just stop it, you know?
So, yeah.

The whole, and then whenever people would talk about it, people would get really upset.
They'd be like, no, there's no way, that's not true.
And it was kind of like a schizo theory that that's what was happening, but yeah, it's just kind of funny like all this stuff

But just like the the privacy for traumas and stuff are super super funny. I

I've been playing since 2004 and I've despised every iteration of expansion wow after it.
When Classic Wow was announced, I was and I'm still staunch advocate of no changes,
I don't think that's great.
Classic WoW will be preserved and I can go back and play No Changers Hopefully Forever.
Well, here's the thing, even Era is not No Changes.
They did change things and I will continue to do that throughout my days as it is the
greatest game I've ever played.
But many staunch advocates have been a lot like myself.
I'll end up being the downfall of offer, just to mention those who flooded in from retail
demanding everything be handed the most silver platter.
That way Classic WoW was played today is simply not the way it was played in the past.
True.
And I see many veterans with Classic Complaining about certain changes because it's not in
in the vein of Classic Wild Design when they're flat out wrong.
So this is interesting because I'm one of these people.
I think everything should be done in the, kind of within the principles of the game design
of Classic Wild, right, of vanilla and whatever classic is.
For me, classic is like burning crocheted in vanilla, vanilla into burning crocheted.
The way Classic Wild was played today is a very bastardized version of what it was intended
to be played, and what was played as in the beginning, which makes sense.
The game's been out for 20 years.
Every single glitch bug mechanic has been portable by people, kind of true.
But also, there's always new metas being formed, and
there's always new things being learned.
Like, PvP metas are constantly changing.
You know, even ratings, people are finding out new things in rating,
in burning appreciate today.
There's a huge misconception of Bill and
were so easy and meant to be incredibly easy, they were not. They're easy now
because any game would be easy if you played for 22 years straight, hell with
the amount of time people have put into WoW over the past 22 years, some people
put in years worth of play time. This is kind of true, this is one part of it,
another part of it is just like the tech. It's we have the end game version of
all the items, so everything is buffed. So you've moved the goalpost in two
in two ways. So they have everything post-NERF and all the gear post-BUFF. So now the goalpost has
gotten double moved. Some people put in years of playtime, some of them have mastered any skill.
Vanilla had way more difficult raids than almost any content retail is to offer. Okay,
what? I don't think that's true. I think Vanilla's raids were way less mechanically taxing. The
The difficulty of vanilla wow rates were in the preparation, bringing the consumes, like
it's like knowledge check for that kind of stuff.
Now I think I know where he's coming from when he says this.
I'm gonna give him some credit.
I think what he means by this is it took way longer for vanilla rates to get cleared than
a retail rates to get cleared for the first time.
And while that is true, there's a ton of different factors, a ton of different factors.
Namely the fact that people are full-time raiding as their livelihood and just spamming
the raids and doing the split runs and they have a bunch of their viewers, they have fans
of the different guilds that help out run split runs, so you know what I mean?
So there's a lot of that versus back then like nobody even knew what the hell was going
on.
months to kill Ragnaros the first time. It's super simple now because we play the game
and Dark Souls consider hard single player frangers out today. Guess what? I saw somebody
a couple years after Dark Souls released Beat the Game on a rock band drum kid as a controller.
I mean, I think they're kind of, I think there's a lot, it's kind of reductive. I don't know,
I'm kind of missing the point on a lot of things.
Those are the most advanced mechanics

How these zones are implemented, how these ideas are implemented, that's what's key.
That's what everybody is hoping is just at the level that it needs to be. So it's not so much
about the creativity it's more about the implementation the execution exactly. So anyway continue.

of my imagination of what a classic plus is,

preals, human hunters, work majors, troll warlocks and anyone
who's played the Forsaken Kingdom storyline already knows
this one Forsaken paladins. Every classes kit is getting
tweets, making every specialization viable in combat, while still preserving the element.
I do think it's cool how they made Undead Paladin work. I'm a little bit worried about the balance
because of Undead Racialz, but I don't think the Undead Racialz are as broken as I thought they were
initially. Does that make that class and specialization feel unique? While some classes change
more readily than others, every class will get something new, some improvements to their gameplay,
and some new tricks to aid in their adventures.
World of Warcraft Forever's group journey begins early, with its dungeon starting around level 15.
As you level, you'll explore new and reimagined dungeons.
And once you hit max level, you'll get to experience World of Warcraft Forever's new raid content.
Most raids are now designed around groups of 10 or 20 players.
The 40 player raid, a Nixie's lair, is available at launch.
And you can expect more of those experiences, occasions-

of let the kids play.

Like I ran I ran one Hall of Fiends and I got two levels out of it. That's crazy
That boosts you I mean, I don't even think it's a problem like I don't have a problem people power leveling
I just think power loving should be really slow
My power leveling should be something that's possible, but it's really slow and it's been something that's we've been in in online games since forever
So like hey your group with like a level 60 mage who's like running around and killing stuff in the group
Well, then yeah, like you're getting you're gonna get owned
By it like XP wise like it's not gonna be very much XP
And to the point where it's like effectively the only field benefit of running with a high level through a dungeon is hey
We're just trying to clear the dungeon and get some gear
But now, you know what's gonna happen with the boosting, you're gonna have high levels
running through dungeons and people are just gonna do their quests.
And they don't get any XP in the dungeon, so the XP loss doesn't really matter, right?
Unless I miss something and you can't even go in there with high level.
And that's something that people, like people just don't consider these things because it's
like people have freaking foreign brand or reddit brand or something.
It's like, they just hear somebody repeat something over and over again.
Like, there will always be a meta no matter what, so why not just have like the most natural
sort of gameplay options exist?
I'm just saying, it'll always end up doing the same thing.

times where it's like, hey, you need to be like hands on and make sure that the game

I cannot speak for anyone else on the team, I can't speak for myself.
I'm making WoW Forever for the classic gamer and for the millions of people who had their
accounts laps over the years because they were not satisfied with changes that were made to the game,
whether those changes were the art style, the story, the social aspects game designer,
changed their favorite class. And there's a lot that's said here, okay? There's a lot that's said
here. But like the bottom line, I did not spend the last year of my life relearning and mastering
how to do things like we did it 20 plus years ago for retail players. I could have taken it easy
and just kept doing things like I had done for the past eight years on retail. But because I was
much more familiar with it, and it actually takes a lot less time to do, hype maps and
on textures do a ton of heavy lifting, because the reality is that the majority of retail
players wouldn't care and would probably actually prefer it.
But I felt like I had a duty to uphold an artistic vision and integrity that millions
of people expect from us, but not just for our players, but for my co-workers past and
present who worked on it over 20 years ago.
If I could not create something that resembled their work, then I failed not only them, but
myself.
These are not take this as me throwing any shade at retail players or the retail team
because I am one myself, but I want to make sure forever is as authentic of a vanilla
experience as possible, right?
