If you have concerns or questions about the tournament and the rule set, I've had a bunch
of streamers, a bunch of big time pubers, whether it's me, whether it's tips, right?
Message has to be like, hey, question about this thing, is this allowed, is this not
allowed?
And a lot of the things, we actually, we're accounting for this right now.
And we're gonna post the fully updated rules in a little bit, not today, but we're trying
to get everything together and see if there's anything that we missed.
So the feedback is really helpful, right?
There's other people who are gonna go out and I actually, I don't know if this actually
happened yet, but this has happened in the past.
like people will try and like they, they try and, uh, I mean, they're cloud forming, right?
They're trying to, they're trying to gain notoriety by complaining about something and
get people to grab the pitchforks.
And like when people do that, they're, they're itself serving.
They're just trying to, to strom up controversy for their own personal gain as opposed to
trying to actually make the tournament better.
Cause you can just message and be like, Hey, what do you, this is a concern.
What do you think about this?
What do you think about that?
And a lot of things people have messaged about, we actually already have answers to
some of the things we didn't have answers to yet.
So it's really helpful and I really, really hope people keep doing it, you know?
I'm pro legacy points.
I think the legacy points thing, it's too, I think the legacy points thing is my thing.
It's really easy to get legacy points, but a lot of people don't know that yet, especially
whenever it's going to be level 30.
Now I will say this, I will say this, I hope, this is my wish, there's some things with
legacy points.
The main thing is like talented, but the other things with legacy points is like stealth
detection outside of battlegrounds.
I think that should be removed from the game personally.
I hate that.
a non-stealth player, I think that that is unfair. I don't even play a stealth class,
but I don't think that you should have legacy talents that increase stealth detection or
give you some kind of PvP advantage like that. Tell us how to get a legacy point easily then.
So you'll get a legacy point for a little 25 character, but then you also get a legacy
point for only 150 in a profession, a non-gathering profession. And there's also a couple of
other ways that I'm, there's basically, there's plenty of, like you can easily have like three,
maybe even four legacy points per character. But people just don't know this yet because
they haven't gotten level 30. Another thing to consider, no salad, no flail fish, wait,
No solid S-level fish. Nice. True corium. We don't need three, we need 14.
Just keep it real. I think you'll need 10 if you want to have talented.
Because there's a first aid one, and then there's a
a, um, the first aid one. And then there's a, uh, the stealth detection. Sorry, branders
up plus my town was busted. True. It is, but man, I mean, people sing. Oh, like, well,
people with more time to play are going to have a higher chance to win. Yeah. I mean,
guys, that's classic. It's a level 30, wow forever beta tournament.

Keep in mind this is a beta tournament.
This is a level 30, it's the first wildfire tournament.
There are things that we have not yet discovered.

I'm even like leveling a bunch of different characters. Why so that I can like learn all the nuances of the characters and everything like that

The problem is you can't really do that with a little 30 tournament and there's too many
things that become kind of a shit show.

So we're going to have to have more rules.
That's so much fun to watch that that for me that was like the magnum opus.
I was so proud of that tournament, man, I really was.
But it very quickly becomes an absolute disaster if you are, well, two things.
I think if you get like 100%, like there's a 0% chance we do this.
And you get two dead set on things too early.
Like just everybody needs to kind of realize like, hey, rules are gonna change.
We're looking at everything.
things are going to get better, or the sort of things are going to be more, and I get better.
You're going to find out about more things.
You're going to find out about things that I don't know about, that TIPS doesn't know about.
Right?
And like I said, like, yeah, we know a lot, we've done a lot of research.
However, people are still messaging us with like, hey, like, what do you think about
this thing?
Or what's the deal with this?
And it's like, oh, either, either yes, we actually have accounted for that, and
we just haven't put that into the rule set yet, because we're not even advanced
level 30, right?
We're kind of figuring some things out before we want to put it on paper.
But the rules are just going to be subject to change constantly until the actual term
itself because this is a beta, we're learning a lot of stuff.
And I think everybody needs to have the intellectual honesty to understand it.

We put on a really, really big hardcore dueling tournament
called the OTK Mott Garoff with me and Tips and we put that whole thing together. It was super
duper awesome and it was it was ended up being the biggest wow pvp event ever. So insane success.
It was right before BlizzCon, right before Season Discovery got announced and ever since then
and everybody has said, S-Fan,
when are you guys gonna do another dueling tournament?
And we have not done that.
Not for three years, not until now.
That's right, we are back with the forever open,
an open dueling tournament that anybody can sign up for
with me and Tips, and we're gonna have Zahru come back,
again, to help me host it.

And we are gonna be putting on a brand new tournament here, October 17th and 18th is
the current planned date, but I'll tell you what, this thing has gotten so big and there's
so many people signing up.
The thing has gotten so big, it really has.
And in fact, there's also our good friend, Tim the Tapman actually has added to the prize
pool.
So initially we announced a 50K prize pool.
There's a lot that goes into this tournament, by the way.
Yeah, there's a lot that goes into this tournament with the prize pool and the cost
production and everything else that goes into it, like building assets and the trailer and
all this kind of stuff, so I really wasn't expecting this, but I fronted the money for
the tournament and we're like, okay, we're gonna get stuff paid so we can pay people
and do all the stuff and have everything set and then we can get everything backfilled
with the sponsors and stuff as things get fleshed out, like the paperwork actually
gets all done, so I'll front the money for the tournament for prize and all the
the production stuff and then we'll figure it all out down the road.
And to nobody's expectation at all, a friend Tim the Tantman came in and has doubled the
prize pool.
So this was a 50,000 prize pool tournament, this is a 50,000 prize pool tournament.
But Tim the Tantman doubled it and made it $100,000, which is too much.
Is too much.

but they're not a hundred percent set in stone
with all the details yet.
It's just kind of like the rough overview.
Things are gonna change.

And some things we've already talked about,
TIPS and I have talked about and kind of said,
hey, like we wanna do this, we wanna do that.
And we're just waiting to get all the details in
before you push an update to the rules, right?
It's not as simple as, you know how like in a while,
they do a hot fix.
Like after they don't do it,
they don't just hot fix something immediately.
They put out a whole patch at once.
It's kind of what we're doing, right?
So we're trying to take a pass through everything
and account for it as much as we can
to make updates at once.
And TIPS is hard at work organizing this thing.
So there's a lot of work that's gone into it.
Even today, I was like,
I don't know how many hours late to stream.
I was on the phone with tips, talking about stuff.
There's a lot of work,
and this is turning out to be so much of a bigger thing
than we anticipated.
The dates might even change.
There's a world where it's October,
where it's a three-day event instead of a two-day,

mega-dungeon he responded with.

Dungeons is going to be another mega dungeon, similar to black rock depth.
Given the black right there's a little 52 to 60 dungeon plus the

familiar with Black Rock Depths, it is a dungeon that is so big that you never full clear it.
Very rarely, very rarely do you actually full clear it.
So like they said in the post, it's level 52 to level 60 and there's just so much stuff
in there, man.
It's like you might go and do like a BRD arena run or you're doing like an amp run or whatever,
right?
So there's like all these different things where, hey, you're just trying to go run
one specific thing or one specific part of the dungeon, but that's not the only thing
that's cool about BRD.
The way they use BRD and other aspects of the game.
For example, Brewfest is going on right now in Burning Crusade and you can get like a Dwarven
Tunneler and you get sent to Black Rock Depths.
You get sent to BRD and you do this dungeon, or sorry, you do this boss like five times
for a chance at getting a trinket.
Now they juice the hell out of the trinket.
It's just Anniversary is a little different than the actual game was, but they still
use it in Burning Crusade, which is kind of cool.
You go to the, you go to the Forge, right?
You go to the Forge to smell the, what were they called?
The Dark Iron Barks, yes.
So you go to the Forge and you have to smell

You go to the Anvil and that's where you craft

My plan is to keep leveling.
My plan is to keep leveling all the different starting zones to get an idea of everything
and be able to keep giving that feedback, talking to Blizzard, and I've been communicating
with them every single day constantly and just trying to help out with as much feedback
and hey, this is how I feel about this is what I noticed.
The big thing is, the reason why I did Warrior or chose to do Warrior next is
because everybody was talking about how bad Warrior is.
I don't think they were bad at all.
I think there's some problems, but I don't think they were bad, okay?
I do agree that the rage generation stuff is an issue.
And I think that they probably need a little bit of a tweak.
So I already talked to Blizzard, and this is my suggestion, this is my recommendation.
Give them a little bit of variance on their rage generation from damage.
It should not be like vanilla.
I think everybody within reason understands that it should not be like vanilla vanilla
was insane.
Tone it down a little bit.
There's some kind of midpoint between being 100% normalized in vanilla.
I don't know where it is.
So I think you do that.
I also think if you get a crit, you should get bonus rage.
I would say about 50%.
I think I think you give them like 50% bonus range, maybe a little more, but probably
a 15% bonus range on crits on top of the variants
based on your damage.
I think that would be a really, really good thing to do.
I think that'd be wise.
I think it would make the class feel a little bit better.
And if worse comes to worst,
and the warriors are getting too much rage,
I do think there is an argument to be made
where it's like, okay, well, that's fine,
and you could just tune their damage down a little bit.
It just kind of depends.
I think that's the strat.
