Welcome one, welcome all, it's time for some ECL NA.
I am Bugged Head, I'm joined by the very beautiful and handsome, all in gaming, Mr. Anthony.
I gotta say, quite excited for the prospect of what's ahead of us tonight.
Oh yeah.
I mean, these two lineups.
just bound to eventually play by destiny itself obviously new nut verse old nut
it's um it's just the best both scenarios here yeah and we're we're in
ECL cup number one for NA which is already had a bit of momentum going on
through it in the past few days we're already I believe a full day into the
progress of this and this is the lower bracket round two that we're gonna be
watching today once again elusive versus not teams with histories teams with
experience on both sides of the court for this if we look around at the other
sides of the bracket we see some games that came up Farmville versus Zamblers
Anthony I think you had a fun fact about Farmville yeah if I am accurate with
this statement Farmville's little logo there is a chicken and I'm pretty sure
that chicken does belong to an NA player that I'm I feel like some
Some people may or may not know him as Calamity, the Mach 10 God who has a center view model
that I despise.
Well, they're going up against Zumblers elsewhere.
Also I was Storm Boar versus Villainous and Empire versus New Legends.
Honestly, kind of surprised to see Empire down in the lower bracket early on, a team
that I am very excited for the future of, but we don't have to worry about those
games because we had a game to worry about ourselves, Anthony, and as we already
alluded to that is nut versus elusive two teams that like to rile up the NA
fan base just based off of the names of the players and organization around it
and I have no doubt that tonight's gonna be quite a roller coaster for both these
teams yeah I mean this is kind of this new nut roster that was an older
roster that I mean the core alone or nine core a little more than the core
expanding asset four out of five players have stuck together for I
I want to say three or four seasons now at least the core has been together that long and I mean this notorious roster
It's strong and it's got a lot of progress that has kind of been back me
And they've been progressing forward along with obviously help of the addition of the coach from last year
You got Kermit
You got the addition of fruit cup who has been bouncing around from NA team to NA team Nate the vibe manager bones the op and
Just the consistent entry guy
Cameron
Yeah, this team all around I mean I think fruit cup coming in adds a definite level of legitimacy around this roster a roster that was already
Making great headway within the North American scene with the time on the previous organization now under nut having a little bit more backing behind them
And I'm really excited to see firsthand actually being able to watch and cast what fruit cup it does bring to this roster
Nate a great IGL has been evolving himself since taking on that mantle
and I'm sure that FruCup is bringing in some extra voice into the team as well.
Yeah, I mean, he obviously has a lot of experience in the upper end of the tier 2 1.5 scene and
it's been around for quite a long time, but enough about the notorious roster, this
elusive roster is kind of a really, I would say, an overall awesome team, not from obviously
a lot of the names of Austin, Messiah, Saiyan, Frithy, but the old school name, Joji.
Oh yeah, it's so good seeing Joji back on the screen. Taking, what, about a two-year break
from competition. Previously, his last team was Mike, and it's just, it's really a breath
of fresh air to see him back in play. Austin and Messiah saying those were the players
that were a part of the previous a core of nut
uh... then the team
dissolved and
the core of it became this lucifer also picking up frizzy
who's a a player that's bouncer and a player that's very notable within the
scene spent time on the teams of the likes of chicken coop and
is definitely a solid addition to any roster that could be playing in the
n-a-sphere
yeah and i mean this this like i kind of said
these two teams i would say are
one paper
Um, fairly evenly matched.
Obviously, Austin come in being kind of a big name himself, but speaking of big things in here,
we're talking big prize pools as well as names.
I mean, first place alone is a grand with a total of 17.5K on the line.
Second place, 4K, third, 2004.
Downline, downline.
Doesn't matter because we're seeing probably some of the top teams right here.
And I have a feeling that, you know, this Natoria roster could make a very deep play into this kind of prize pool.
Interesting, so you're taking Notorious as favorites already.
This is a lower bracket game, just a reminder of everyone.
So there is consequences within that, and the consequence is elimination from cup number
one.
So, I just want to put out there, you did say that you think Nutt's going to make
it deeper, so you think Nutt's taking the victory tonight.
I think there is, it's going to be close.
It's not, I feel like we're going to go three maps.
I feel like that's kind of but this is all gonna I feel like kind of revolve into how
Filled in Jones you really is an old roster. He's taken such a long break. He's been away from CS for such a long time
It's gonna be a big question mark
But the real question mark woman tourist side is gonna be fruit cup
We've seen him have his ups his downs his great performances his very low-end performances at other events
So I think this is gonna be a real kind of solidifying
match for him where he can kind of you know go head-to-head with players like
Austin and Austin is probably one of the I would say the more well-known outside
John G names on this team yeah it definitely is I mean besides his
persona on the internet he's known for being a great player and he's taking the
competitive side of Counter-Strike very seriously you know he still does love
to do streaming and his content and whatnot but at the end of the day his
priority is within the competitive scene and that's something that's very
important to the NA scene to have a name like that. If you look at his head-to-head, I think the
two most important players in this matchup, name value-wise and also input-wise, Austin versus
FruCup. FruCup having a bit of an advantage in most of the statistical categories and
in all honesty, FruCup being a player that I think Nutt is going to rely on quite heavily.
Not saying that they're a team that needs to rely on him to fully carry, but definitely FruCup
is going to be a driving force in all the matchups that they play.
Yeah, and I feel like something that Austin really brings is a deeper understanding.
A lot of these games across the board, because obviously he's Mr...
Mr. Know What All Nade lineups over here.
So I feel like he definitely brings something a little extra that I feel like NA does lack in,
obviously, utility lines, because we kind of suck occasionally at that.
But, you know, for him, he's maybe the receiving factor for this team
that can maybe get them a light up in this matchup.
Well you know what, I would love to see what maps we're gonna be playing on for the elusive
Austin to be able to hide in smokes and dance around and that.
I would imagine, I'm gonna say I think that the maps being played tonight are probably
gonna be Mirage, I think that's a fair thing to say.
Yeah.
If I'm gonna go elsewhere, I would love to see some cash, it's probably gonna, well
I mean I think we know it's gonna be Mirage, Ancient and then.
Inferno.
Well you think it's Inferno?
I'm going Inferno.
It's going to be an NA map poll if we've ever seen an NA map poll.
I mean let's, alright, ancient yeah.
Literally no one's surprised.
I mean this is fairly evident because it's kind of the telltale sign here for the team.
Both teams love ancient, even though their last ancient matchups were kind of not that great in honesty.
But you know, there's always probably Inferno coming next I'm sure.
Oh my goodness, this is the first time I think we've ever went 2 for 2.
No, but I do want to say as we look at these, I think this is an interesting pick for Lucid
in To Nut.
Obviously, Lucid, they are versed in Ancient and they wanted to go to this map.
No, when I was deciding, wow, dude, 3 for 3, good job.
But I do think it's a scary pick going into nut on ancient
Um, if that is the map that you're feeling most confident on and you want to try to compete into that sure
Definitely go for it. You have to make sure you first and foremost are more most comfortable, but I think it's it's gonna be a
Heavy price to pay going up against nut on ancient and that's exactly what we're gonna see because Anthony my dear friend
It's time to get into the game. It's not something on the CT side
Cameron shoot through that smoke, takes a bullet straight to his head and already through
doughnut, the T's look to push all the way onto the site.
Cameron got the backup, give them a little space on this A site.
They won't play for a retake, but they at least have the man advantage Cameron tagged
down to 15 as Austin looking to reposition, maybe try and challenge where a good portion
of these CT's are about to start falling their way through.
Lion way for a moment
CT's not pushing in yet
It's to come and see no bones trying to see the player a man. It said it's shot down by the scion Donna trades back and forth does leave
He's with the player advantage for the time being elusive being very very hard fought on this a bomb site
And they're gonna do just enough to be able to get it over the edge. I
Will say there is one downfall you could say two downfalls of this nut roster from season prior
It's pistols are always a speed bump, but the biggest hurdle for them will always be the anti-ecos and how much they tend to struggle with just
aggressive against aggressive force flies
Yeah, that is definitely a
Consistent issue that this roster has faced. I think also bringing the likes of
Someone like Gavin on your team can definitely cut into that though
Just a player with a bit more experience and a bit more of a driving force to kind of correct
Yeah, just correct the issues out there, but it is going to be a bit of a cleanup in mid,
although maybe a cleanup for the CTs as they go two for two with the lesser weapons, leaving
the D-bombside wide open for plants, but at least getting some weapons out of the hands
is a good start.
Definitely starting to chip away at the economy, with very little invested here from the
notorious gang.
I mean, everyone's still staying around 2K plus, while obviously elusive, if they
lose much more than this it will start to kind of stagnate that economy early on
and they'll be kind of limping into this third round.
Oh limping in either way it's an elusive round win not too much effort maybe
Bones able to collect one more kill on the exit but I don't think elusive is
gonna venture too far elsewhere because of that new bomb right here something
he's plywood keeps you alive would fall
Pones oh got interesting but Austin actually able to work to gun out from his hands
But it's all fine and dandy because not we'll be able to come in this round with a buy of their own
I mean just a good fight down towards
I'm opening up the USP kill. It's a nice little double tap in and you know keeping
Three alive on each side. I'll see some rest of being brought over so
So, it will be a good solid purchase here from the Taurus, but it will be around where
Bones doesn't have his off-a-we-see kind of pace.
You know what?
I hyped up the NA utility and it's proven me right already, I mean, it could be right
already.
Hey, you know, it's the beginning of the game.
Termin's fine.
Nate does take it to his advantage though.
Let me camera in both able to convert a kill for himself with Molotov blocked by
the smoke, but another smoke to keep Frizzy at bay.
The elusive completely shut out in the early beginnings of this round.
Fruit Cup is gonna be tested, but it's an easy spray down for three.
That's exactly what Nut need, a flawless round to get themselves on the board and get that money built up a little bit.
And again, those early deaths in round two definitely turned up here.
They're ugly head here, so they probably have to take a little bit of a lesser buy.
And obviously with just a good lineup there from Fruit Cup,
What's that? 3k in the round for him? He's off to a good start. 4 and 1.
It's whether or not that pace can keep being matched, because now it's the Austin Tech 9, some glills he brought out in a single AK.
I'm insane, but it will come down to a potential hit point once more.
We're gonna get aggressive here, take a look down towards that bottom round.
We're gonna be met with a little bit of resistance to the way of going to get an Austin.
The Kermin a great spot to stop the push in from me it also does convert with the
tech 9 but immediately traded back leaving just saying and Joji left Joji
almost turns around in time but Nate just a little bit too quick to be able to
take him down so saying although a clear bombsite on A is the only person that
left alive versus four CTs and the bomb plant will be able to go down
uncontested you know there's a world where we could put a little bit of
confidence in this round to become a bit more interesting, but as Kermie is already walking
his way back over to A, it's definitely done and Dustin. You could just, you could chalk
it up to two on the scoreboard for none already.
Yeah, there's not too much a chance for this one. He does have the bomb, so he can
really maybe get a force plant in, but I don't think that, um, Kermie's gonna really
allow that one to slide by him. I mean, he will give it a try, but he's gonna
He's inevitably here, I say that and fakes it again, brings it up one more time, looks
to take the fight towards Doughnut, but he's kind of having to deal with multiple angles
here.
I keep reading this right though and almost find himself another, but keeping three
alive for Notorious, nothing gonna kind of hold that economy forward while Elusive,
no bomb plant, not much of a buy now.
And this is going to be where Nuts start to get comfortable and the others are going to
be able to get the momentum on their CG side.
Again, this is the map pick of Elusive, so I'm not choosing to start defensively.
They're going to be as comfortable as they possibly can be.
It's a really interesting matchup, you know, like just former roster versus their previous
org and kind of the success that this team has already seen since combining with new
players and putting themselves back on the market.
Ellucentive already playing within the ECL Cups.
It's a good treat.
Well, Glocks is all we should really have to contest with here.
P250, some flashbangs and a single smoke is all it'll be so obviously focal point
here for Lucid getting his bomb plant down getting a little influx of money
and maybe rifles into next round you know T side op on ancient not you know
not really the best thing to do especially with a very flat-lined economy
right now.
Not set up for this be-hit that will be coming in sooner rather than later.
45 seconds left on that clock.
Lucid are gonna wait to see if any aggression comes their way to maybe get a kill.
Just based off of the foul play and not but instead, holding tight, fruit cup, dancin'
around, tagging JoJ down low, and hammering on a flank.
I mean, it could be perfect here, utility set up.
As soon as Frizzy throws, it should be a flood up the ramp, until the block came around a
backstab.
That's one spray converted, nothing else to be found.
Great damage, however.
So it should be an easy cleanup for Nate.
Fruit cup on the site.
Ten seconds left, Nate.
Playing around the pillar.
A little spray down another, bombs gonna get denied.
And it's a very easy round for Nutt.
Pick up the only one to fall design that bomb plant, obviously all on the positive side.
We'll get a quick little tech pause in here as the money coming in for Elusive, enough
to definitely get those AKs rolling, some utility, but again it won't be an op buy
for them, maybe a little light even on the utility.
But it is a slow start for most, majority I should say here for Elusive, other than
And then Masai, everyone else in the field, who have the most and just a good position
there from Cameron to kind of have a reactionary position to make sure you can cover Fruca.
Yeah, well we got a little bit of a tech pause now and tech pause means time to think for
these players.
Time to just ponder about the wonders of life.
Am I right Anthony?
That's my favorite thing to do in tech pauses.
Did they eat your life choices?
That sounds awful.
That's usually what I do.
It's all right. It's all right. So lock in the morning stare at the ceiling. That's usually when I do that
You know, that's fair enough
That's some nice clothing. I was just gonna say
Well, you know what else looks nice round six looks very nice as we do get back into the action and a bike comes out for you
So once more but as you alluded to previously a bit lacking on the utility. There is still
So, full kit, kit and a half, we'll say collectively.
So plenty to hit into his sight, but it's going to be relatively dry and bone.
That's a big miss early on.
Not able to hit on the second either.
Said John G.
He's going to crack open his bomb site, and now he's already collected for elusive.
There's uncanny misses out of the way.
Pretty spot on, especially on the map like this.
He's playing a dangerous position.
He might just get picked.
He will.
finds himself a kill and is gonna be bombed down in a 503 potential retake.
We can kill there for Fruit Cup. Maybe gives it a good go. Finds up a second.
Looking for a third in towards Sane, but he actually gets the kill.
Trades it right back. Three on two. Man advantage for Elusive.
Time ticking away. Olna's bombed and Karen is gonna have to be...
The tip of the spear here as they force their way on towards Sane.
And there's ones over towards Shadebox.
Austin's swinging in, gets taken down by Nate.
They're looking for one more and frisky last alive. They gotta stick at this point time taking away
He gets pulled out the bomb Nate might just have it in just enough time and he does
My absolute vibe manager that this man is comes in in the clutch
What a shot at the end there to the headshot on the jump peak from Amy. Yeah, I need that replay
Dude, I honestly, scary misses from Bones early on, not like him, to give up two shots
for me like that, Fruit Cup being the real crux at the beginning of a retake.
But Nate, that was it all or nothing shot.
Shot straight on the bomb, get it with no time left, that's insane.
If he had to walk a single step forward, that would have been the round for a lucha
minute.
A crippling one of that.
not need to avoid the ever so dangerous Tech 9 by Enchonji, the man with the rifle.
Oh, sorry I just missed the timing. Tech 9 primed. Oh, he does spot the back of Kermie.
He's gonna be disastrous for not only one able to convert, though.
His camera cleans up, fruit cut back on the ramp angle, blinds himself too.
One of these guys got stuck by his time, hit the spray, a second head shot with a little
bit of luck added on to the end of it, but either way, not lucky to have five.
They've looked very good since the guns came out to play.
And this is kind of the notorious we're used to seeing.
Obviously, the Solucive roster is still trying to find its footing on a lot of these players.
And Psy still haven't a hell of a performance already in 7, always getting himself in a
This is a good position to counter that aggression through a main, but thankfully enough, for the notorious gang, it is going to be a fifth, but then a three-brown to leave now.
Three-round lead, that elusive still have plenty of time to try to counteract, however.
However, fighting through, made about to come through,
Missile only get to spray down one, he's traded back,
Frizzy a wild spray through the smoke,
doesn't convert anything.
Player advantage once more for not.
Controlled towards the B extremity however,
but there's an op staring down their faces,
Bone throws them all top down.
No sound heard yet, but it seems like Fruit Cub
knows exactly what's going on.
It's close to the ramp, spots a shadow,
an easy spray for two and Bone's also able
to make sure he gets one with his op.
Honestly, all of the reference afar have looked relatively easy for Nutt, except for two rounds
ago with the insane clutch from Nate.
I think that comes off the back of the standout player we focused on earlier, Fruit Cup.
Having agreed on some of 11 and three in this round, he's just been a defensive pillar
on his B site through and through.
He just hasn't failed to at least achieve something.
It's kind of the big importance of Fruit Cup getting picked up by this roster, excuse
me.
As I said before in the pregame, it really just legitimizes the steam in my eyes.
I think that Nutt already was a threat, especially in the local NA and the tier 2 seed in NA,
but I do think a completely new ceiling is available for this team.
I think this is a great kickoff, too.
They could punch above their weight and potentially upset through a qualifier.
I have no doubt in my mind that he's the type of caliber that this team will see.
It's just still ironing out everything with the new roster edition.
I think when it comes to Fruit Cup,
he just needs somebody to have a positive mindset to back him a little bit and give him problems.
That's what there's not a problem with all of that.
Exactly, and they like to have the fun.
Nate with the good double there, same with the quick trade back with the Mac 10, 4-0 and 3.
Still man in vange with Fruit Cup, still lying and working about waiting for his chance to bounce.
Maybe he himself in a good position to stop the bomb plant.
Catch the flash, almost gets lined up, but often,
Swingson with the glow gets the kill,
makes it double for him on the board.
Man, advantage now for Elucif.
Fermi, I'm not sure if he spots Sane out.
My default pillar, Maltsov.
This land, sounded like a tick, was made.
Time's slowly starting to run out, a hit has to come into the bomb site.
Sane pushed out by the Maltsov, Fermi able to convert bombs.
Next up in line, next to take the fight, but Austin, of course, he's known for his angles.
Sneaky in the corner, him and Frizzy both able to find a kill of peace and get a third round on the board for Elusive.
But, kind of going back to that point before, that, you know, the positive mindset that Frizz up really needs to be lacking for this roster,
and that is what this, that's how this core has stuck together for so long, is just because they actually like playing with each other.
playing with each other and in NA that is a rarity to have and now they have someone with
an upper end experience, good, good, just gunplay in general in the way a fruit cup which makes
this roster strong so it's going to be kind of an uphill battle for this elusive squad.
Maybe you can't count them out.
Certainly can't.
I'm waiting for Joji to just do some crazy stuff again.
Well you never know, Bones, oh, Messiah able to rip his head off.
Very good, shot to open up the round, Cameron does swing into him though, able to trade out.
An important kill, but Cameron brought down low.
Now maybe Jomji has the time to strike, out the way, Kermi, hit a walk out!
Not able to readjust on the spray, Kermi does get that kill quite easily.
Once again that falls into the player advantage for the side of the CTs.
for how much longer. Saying does have an op currently in his hands. Not sure if that was
perturbed or if he's scavenged from bones, but somehow finds that shot off towards Kerby
Spring, back to the room, free kickup. Not getting forced out just yet, but it definitely
does fall. That scavenged op, Austin finds one for himself, and Cameron on just 6 HP
feels like a freaking off-round for himself. And it is. Two rounds in a row here for
Elusive as they close that gap to just a pair of rounds.
to get through those cracks once or twice
and i'm not taking a for not
as the money's not great they try to figure out what they want to do a shotgun
shotgun met his back to do it's it's kind of crazy i'm not going to lie
i'm
obviously i'm all for
a good uh... xn play but a good swag seven play
you know
uh... at fairly recently i've been i've been shown that the nova is viable so
Anything is possible nowadays. I anything's on the board other than a CZ
And still still against that CZ always will be I will change that eventually. Yeah, maybe like seven or eight years
Well, mr. Hater
Shockings getting close to me and if you're gonna want the shock in any way, that's exactly where it is
is a chakas bone straight to the face bones also converts with the deagle
and this is the type of rounds the nut thrive on the ones where you can get a
little bit crazy although it is straighted back Joji is gonna be able to
push out on the site a once again completely open Hermi creeps around
with a 5-7 might be able to slip behind default box and cause a bit of
mayhem she has jumped up right next to him or ever it's gonna be a matter
the timing.
I just currently want to peek.
How long does Kermi want to play his hand?
I'm going to get to play it to Joji.
I'm trying to play anti flash for a moment, but able to turn around for the kill just
in time.
Nate not going to clear out.
How is this timing slipped by?
Wow.
He gets the kill on to Joji.
Where is he?
On the opposite side of the smoke.
Not able to convert.
I'm more than one.
So once again, Nate finds himself in a clutch this time Messiah in a different
position.
He has a hit.
Plays in towards the temple.
Here he does have a hit.
He also has to be found, Messiah.
He could tuck away as long as he wants.
But if he's being stuck, if he's being stuck, Messiah is competing!
No way, Nick! It's another clutch! No kill needed!
Just able to stick it!
Oh, Messiah.
You gotta be stratchy with that one, man.
Yeah, pros don't fake, bro.
And Nate is a dashingly good-looking man who would never fake
except a few rounds ago when he faked it and drew out a jump spot.
That's the only other time we would've did it.
Now, nut find themselves with a 7, elusive stuck on 4.
The money's still there for a buy.
And we got some AKs, got Utilities time around,
and Messiah's just...
Oh, he's line-up something.
That was a long line-up.
That's one of my favorite line-ups.
Just looks fun to throw, but either way, Kermit,
close on the wall, able to get an easy spray down,
flashed off, not able to cover anything else,
Bones still not able to hit many shots.
We're at the beginning of this matchup.
And the A bomb site once again will fall into control of the T's.
No ability to fight to try to deny the plant, although it still hasn't...
...be gone yet.
It should still be a quite...
...an easy setup for a lucid to get that down.
Two players start to approach on Messiah.
Shadow advantage will be given to the CT's.
Hard angle with the off Messiah.
Easy to line up the headshots, that's two form and it all comes down to Cameron.
I'm not sure if we're gonna be able to see any more clutches within this first half
He's a 1v4
It's quite a tall order especially when all these tees are lined up ready to spray you down
Tries to push in Austin
It's gonna be the first contact close on that right corner not cleared out
And that is gonna be a five to seven half in favor of nut
But elusive definitely gaining some traction. We'll have to see if they're able to continue in the second half

five score line to start the first half of play not to see a bit of a lead from
their CT side but now the tables turn the side switch is time to see what their
T side can do as Elusive was able to grab a few rounds towards the end of the
half and was able to make a competition out of this game. I mean it
would have been a lot closer if it wasn't for the absolutely immaculate
plays from Nate in two 1vx kind of scenarios one where he just sticks
It could have very easily been a flip scoreline where a lose of 5-7 rounds.
It's never too far off from that in all honesty.
Oh, it's definitely an even matchup and you know there's different names being called on,
everyone's having their time to shine.
I think an important thing right now, especially if you're a fan of the side of NUTS, look
at the performance from Bones.
A bit of a step up needed, a rough start early on.
We know that Bones is someone that likes to come alive towards the end of the game,
so hopefully for their sake that easily comes in.
It's also a very fast B-Pop to come in.
Gubra is a messiah, are trying to spray down, does collect a kill,
blow up with Jongi as well.
It's just easy for a lucive.
The only player left is Kermit.
He does have a chance, he does have a bomb.
Low HP on two of the CTs.
That's some time to reroute himself, interesting.
It's all for the endgame.
The long con, Donald, as someone like to call you.
This is going to be a wrap in towards that A site.
Maybe get the bomb, I mean we're not seeing anybody from Elusive Move and they're completely fine with just letting him have the bomb.
I mean play the retake, but...
You can't put a lot of money though in this way.
And also I'm just curious why no one even ventured towards Red Room to at least play Fast Road Day, but it seems like they all want to come in through mid instead.
Yet Donut Control.
As it has allowed Kermit to slip in through CT.
It should be able to hear the noise very soon.
It's going to have to turn about face.
Bomb not planted for him either.
Turns around.
Caps away at one from behind.
That's a good start to it.
Frizzy is going to be able to stick this bomb however.
Kermi pushes around not quite able to land a shot and with the defuse kit there wasn't
much hope so it's a 7-6 start after the piss around of the second half.
But getting that bomb planted down is going to allow them to get a buy-in and
Well again, it comes back to my question from before of why even let them?
You know, it's like getting you on a play for some retake and peep the numbers vanishing your way,
but at the same time, play for the at least audible information and maybe at least a nice bomb plant.
Now, not have weapons in a round where they statistically probably shouldn't have.
Yeah, and they actually have decent weaponry. Two balloons and AK.
I mean you got a Mac 10 and a Deagle out for two of the players, but this is still definitely a sizable one, you know what?
I can't even really disagree, coming out of Deagle is kind of scary, Bones out of Galil isn't going to be able to start the round off hot though, because the same...
We'll spray it out with DM4, get the open and kill secured for Elusive, that's another conversation point, opening kills heavily in the favor of Nutt throughout that first half of play.
And I do think that's why Elusive did start very rough.
Austin has a great time not able to convert to kills.
Um, but I do think that if opening kills can start to fall in favor of Elusive then
there's definitely a very large conversation to say how the second half plays out.
The scion at a good angle will most likely be a one-check Kermie,
the victim, as now it is only a pair of players left.
Nate, cameraman, maybe trying to get this bomb down, maybe doing some extra damage here.
Nate finds a kill, does scavenge up the bomb and should be able to get this plant down.
Messiah could be smoked off and the long rotate.
I mean, Nate in a clutch again, surely he can't go three for three.
Not surely not, I mean.
The IGL of nut.
Another clutch.
It's impossible, right Anthony?
It's impossible.
He's not going to be able to peek into Joji and spray him down.
That would have been silly.
Instead Jonesy gets a little bit of backfire towards the body and it is a 7-7 split
And I hate to say this but I think this is all just mainly because of messiah
1611 yeah, nobody won well either side won't actually say that Nate's 18 and eight dear God
Okay, so it makes a little sense when it comes out bones still very quiet performance
But again, Messiah is having a great overall game for his team that are really trying to call his name right now.
And it's very much needed.
Yeah, I mean, I think the big, obviously we were expecting to be one of the heavy hitters.
Nate, I'm alive in this game.
It does put not in a good position.
But again, there needs to be some sort of pickup from bones, especially now in the T side.
You have to try to get into the action more the opp wasn't working in your favor. The opp isn't necessarily
Always required on the T side it depends on how you like to play it
But maybe with the right form of hands can just wake up a bit more
But either way after a brief
Time out it is time to get back into the game round 15 tied up scoreline and a save on the side of nut
The consistency that Nutsally's had is getting his bomb clamped down and obviously eating
the money going, but it will be a nade from none other than Messiah to strike down Cameron
early on and again, slow the progression of this T-side that much more fruit cup nearly
a victim to nades as well as his tank to 39.
But first you're going to take contact with the monsters Tech 9's players against
The anti-clash finds himself one, Messiah actually finding a double, and again nearly
at 20 kills already and we're only on round 15.
I guess you can call him like a Messiah or something.
Yeah, definitely.
Eddie.
Really got that one.
I don't think there's any other...
The third.
Dude.
Alright, let's see if Fruit Cup has anything to say about this though.
He does have a Deagle.
If you've gone our way or two, you would least do a bit of damage to the CT economy.
You're able to scavenge something within this round, have a little bit of something to feel good about.
But Nate, might take first contact with the Galakalong range fight against the M4.
Surely it doesn't go in his favor. Masaya might just get the ace here.
Should be easy lineup. One more headshot through cup.
Ducks behind cover. Masaya wants to say stow and he's gonna get it eventually.
Very nice from him. 21 and 11 after this round.
And as you were saying before, a driving force for this elusive side, not that anyone else is playing exceptionally poor on the side of elusives, but Messiah is just going insane.
I don't feel like there's a real solution to stopping what's currently going on as Messiah is just looking too clean right now at the shots.
Everything, the position, mainly.
And at a certain point I'd say maybe I don't want to challenge on this a site
And maybe we should time out Donnie's mom
Yeah, we got guns out the plane we got to focus in cuz don't get in close to that
It's around with his teammate Austin able to convert the first spray fruit cup post by Nate able to convert
Down from it as well. Joem. She now stuck in no man's land. It does get very awkward for the CT side saying
able to bail him out, however. Get the player advantage once more. As not one I explode out
to this A bomb site. Utility to come forward and in. Messiah has a lineup from deep, not
able to convert any of the shots, however. If he landed bomb planted, frizzy. Tries to
take contact first, sprays in through big box. Instead, Smoke kill landed for Kermit.
Now with the numbers even, it's a bit more interesting.
It's gonna be a hard take for Lucid to come back into.
You already have a player down low,
now playing down one, saying trades back
and Nate caught through the box, leaves it all down to bones.
A player that we said needed to step up,
now would be the time, head shot early,
converted, frizzy, on the right side of the smoke,
just able to land the spray onto bones
as he tried to over adjust.
Lucid starting very hot in the CT side,
a great retake from him.
And maybe a bit of sweat dropping from the brow of nut at this point
Because you have given up a pretty big lead
Since the the middle of the first half until now
I mean bones having a quite enormous
It's kind of looked him in this
It wasn't a good position
But being a little over tells him kind of being concerned that he was in the same scenario that Nate's put
but a looser bin where they're sticking it,
then a little bit off of their shots.
Sadly, still only four kills to 17 rounds for this man.
May control comes in for nut without much contention.
There is two players in red room though,
then Nate is gonna have to try to pick apart
those shots land either way
made with decent damage, as it should combine with the Molotov.
The Bones has found his way out, eh.
Gonna have a timing on the op.
Just takes the shot as soon as he finds it.
Open up the site for your teammates, let the bomb rotate in.
Utility comes in to block out.
CT angle, the Frizzy tries to spray through, but no bullets land.
And once again, we'll find ourselves on a retake on the A bomb site.
It's killing still Fall elsewhere, but it's a 3 on 3.
Austin down to 13 HP, but he's got the Utah in hand, flashing over for Masai to make some
space and as long as Masai is still around there, he's always concerned if you are nut.
John G from mid should have to contest with Nate towards that donut position.
They're gonna play it out, trying to wait for an angle.
The money has run low, a little bit for both sides.
Nate can break through Leona, and Nate giving up the angle first, but somehow
securing the kill through the high ground finds itself one, readjusts for a second,
Bones on the rack of the area position again gets one for himself as Nate crosses the 20
kill mark for himself, still with a 2 flat KD at 20 and 10.
That was a really good round from Nott.
It felt like they understood the defensive setup that Elusive was taking, not keeping
pressure on that A bomb site early on.
It was just a very well read situation and then being able to hold strong on that
retake as well just kind of made it very easy for Nott at the end of the day.
The importance of Nate's performance so far this map cannot go understated, I mean,
20-10.
A real leader of men.
Both in terms of his calling and the scoreboard right now, Frizzy wants to dance around with
Cameron and he ends up winning the tango.
First kill falls and Messiah also catches Nate out in red room.
Early on the aggression from Nut doesn't work out, Frucuff in a chance to trade back,
but Frizzy finds one more for himself, Bonesop does ring.
And attempt to push out on a bomb site that is open except for the player that's inside
of the palace
Scythe the only one there, Jojo comes in through donut, but he gets his head ripped off. Geez
So it's two on two the bomb not yet planted, but not find themselves in a position where they can reroute.
I like it. I like it. I like this call a lot
but we already see
Scya
Potentially repositioning here is also gonna call the site clear. They know they have to still clear out donut
But the signs are all there pointing towards that B site
And we'll give longer sight lines to bones on this bomb site
And this is surely where he can capitalize on its very angle right here should
And besides me force the fight for me first to fall even bones in a 1v2
This is his time to kind of finally show up here brings to a 9 to 9 scoreline
Austin come in from ramp side. Thankfully not diverting himself towards caves. I
I don't know if the scope was heard by Austin, a very likelihood that that is true, but Bones
does have his angle on the right shot.
Messiah, first of all, thinks about the flash, but wants to challenge Austin.
Austin is sticking it, not even second guessing, gets off from home in just to annihilate Bones,
an execution to the head, an easy defuse afterwards, and a tenth round secured for elusive.
A full 10 second stick to all bones. Again, what we have to do is play the time, but it's that position again.
Doesn't he advocate? Doesn't he advocate? It's the gamble that we all have to take, and obviously Austin doesn't miss a point blank shot.
Bones look like there was some light at the end of the tunnel, and it has slowly started to gain, but so has this economy and lead for the Fallah.
Back to two. It was the first contact play towards that A site that just kind of fell apart from none.
It was a good attempt to reroute and get the bomb planted.
Maybe Fiverr's a little bit faster than the reroute.
Could've been a different story, but...
Either way, Cameron!
A lot of damage from the NA to CTs want to aggress into it.
Oh gee.
Pads his bank up with the MP9, kills fall everywhere.
And only one of Fiverr for nut.
And as we say that it is just Kermy,
He has a glow in his hands, and he has a dream of trying to spear around for his team, but sometimes your dreams don't come to fruition.
Sometimes they're not meant to be true, and this is one of those situations where it definitely is not.
Now saying he's got this op, and things are starting to pick up for him as well, finding some kills here and there, and it's not just Messiah.
Still with 20 to 6 kills alone, Joe Giaccio kicking up some kills with that MP9,
and drive bias with a handful of other from joe g it's it's elusive really showing up in the second half putting
Real tests for this notorious roster that they're obviously calling this time out
Yeah, they need it
Money's in a position where you could take this a lot of routes
I mean you don't really want to give up map point, but at the same time
If you fully invest into this it's not gonna be much that you can write home about
It looks like they want to go for a bit of an investment and get a half buy in.
At least the Deagle armor for the likes of Fruit Cup.
The rest do choose to do the same. Pistols, armor, and a timeout for Elusive.
So a bit more time to think for them.
Nathan, what do you think they're thinking?
I think in only two more rounds, they'll need them to get their map pick.
Then your own two Inferno map.
Again, all of these teams play this map.
This is an NA map pool. Obviously you could switch out any of these maps with Nuke. It would still be an NA map pool.
So, saying that, you know, Natorious picked Inferno, yes they did pick it, but obviously, Elusive, they're not concerned with Inferno whatsoever, either.
An interesting matchup on our hands.
I do think the most exciting one, storyline-wise, firepower-wise on the server, excitement-wise,
is just based off of the way that these teams play.
It's always very good to watch some down and dirty North American Counter-Strike, but we
aren't back into said Counter-Strike.
Molotov misses, down towards Elbow, so notorious Electro can push out, but it is at the cost
of Frucuff getting a 2k with the Deagle through the blow of smoke.
Okay, this round turned on its head very early on, a player advantage in favor of Nut.
And all this space, taken for Fruit Cup, a weapon at his feet.
I mean, this is almost perfect.
Can he find one more into Austin?
Not quite.
Bringing him down to half, though.
Ken put these pistols in a position to get the job done as they hit out towards
B, where the CTs have left at vacant.
and a good reposition. The timing could favor him. Cameron pushing forward this
Tech 9, a good crossfire, but for some reason, Kermi pushes forward who had the
bomb originally and now Bones stuck towards default with nothing but a P250,
1v3 bomb far and away out of his reach, and Joangy put in a little extra into
him to make sure that he knows it was a good round, but not that close.
It was a very good effort.
Got scared there for a moment, but maybe some miscommunication on just...
Who had the bomb? Who was going for the peek?
Some things like that definitely cost them.
Those are two crazy shots that were early on, and if he gets one more onto Austin, that's completely different round we're talking about.
That's around where the CTs might not even feel comfortable going for the retake.
Either way, that's not the reality we live in. The reality we live in is elusive on map point.
Once again, on their map pick.
Oh, and Nate still so sharp to open up today, Cameron, also finding an entry kill onto the B-bomb site.
This is everything Nutt could have hoped for.
Two player advantage, free reign of a bomb site that the bomb will soon be planted in.
And one more kill on top of that.
A clean round for Nutt, only one player left, for as he...
Do whatever damage you can, but surely, I mean, this is a done round, this is very good for Nutt.
I think a lot of that comes to the fact that they're going to B site.
A site hasn't really worked post plant scenario because of Messiah.
You're going into his territory and that's not the territory I would like to linger
in for long.
And that fans 27 and 16.
I mean, Grant Nate is trying to match that same performance.
He nearly is blow for blow at that same pace, but it's just a little bit different, and
Messiah is putting up a little more of a front than, say, what's always currently putting
up right now as well.
Well the Tori is fully backed against the wall at this point.
We need three in a row.
This is a round that they could get a start on.
Joji is only on the 5-7.
And utility isn't perfect along the lines of the elusive squad.
Red room taken for Kermie.
What can they make of this though? That's the big question.
Seems like they want to go for a B crunch of sorts.
The timing of where the CT's are going to be looking is...
Crocs around. That's the most important thing.
Stack up towards this bomb site.
Minute left to play and Austin getting curious
Please trade so it does go somewhat the way until besides saying find some kills fruit cup in towards ramp in a two on
Four cup bones
First fight here is gonna be saying he finds one looking for the second bones with the quick trade
And if now then never for bones one v two fakes the first plan tries and draws out a fight
but should be dead.
Anyways, 13-9, Elusive, take map 1, ancient, and it was their pick.
Yeah, I mean, all around, once they got settled within the matchup, it was a very solid showing for Elusive.
Nutt had real shimmers of individual prowess.
Nate clutches.
Nate just having a great game by himself, fruit cup with some important kills, but
Elusive just had a bit better control of the matchup on this map.
Collectively, and now that Ancient's done, we do look to Inferno, but before Inferno
there is going to be a break, so stick around because Map 2 will surely be just as fun
as the first.
Oh
Well, Map 1 was a close affair, for the most part, elusive does take it out in the end,
however, especially in the second half of play, just feeling a bit more confident in
through Ancient.
But Ancient is behind us, and Anthony, we look towards Inferno, this is the map pick
up nut, and this maybe is the chance for not to get back in the series.
I think a lot of what is going to have to at least happen for the nut side is to somehow slow down Messiah
I think just almost barely getting to 30 kills or 29 kills or is very close to that mark and
if you can't stop him and
Bones doesn't pick up the pace. This is a map that is I feel very strong off-heavy map on both sides
Realistically, he should have a field day if he doesn't this is gonna be a 2-0
Yeah, it's hard to put nut in a good position if Bones doesn't wake up, you know, it's
good to have an off map, but if it's an off day, that puts your team in a really rough
spot.
Once again, this is an elimination game within ECL and a Cup number one.
There will be more chances in the future Cups, but I think they would like to go
as far as possible now, that would probably be pretty cool for them.
I would have to imagine winning feels good.
I mean, you don't play CS to lose and I don't see
Not wanting to lose this map. They obviously were just about there
I mean, they had a great performance. I think dropping 25 or 26 kills himself
So very very solid performance. It's again just a little bit of the outliers from the team
That really have to just put in a little bit more to make this one just doable to get to map three
And there's a lot on the line within these cups, you know, not only a prize pool of 8,000
smackeroos for the team that's able to come up in first place, but also a ticket into the
season 52 North American finals.
That's what both these teams are fighting for as we have a beautiful fly through of
Inferno.
I think this is a chance definitely for now to get on a bit of a better foot.
I was expecting a better performance out from Ancient in all honesty.
felt like if there wasn't control in the early round for nut it was almost an
impossibility and then even when they had the early player advantages a lot of it
fell apart of the retakes they weren't really able to hold on to the bomb sites
and when you're looking at a map like inferno this is the one place that you
think that the the retakes should be the most difficult so a T side nut start
presumably since elusive gets to pick the map they need to get the ball rolling
they need to just get into the bomb sites. If they're into the bomb sites, I think that they have plenty of chance to
potentially run away with the first half of the map, to be honest with you.
Yeah, I mean that again, it's if they get into that bomb site. We've seen the post plans were strong.
Well, you know, whether it was offensive or defensive, the post plans were always the better part of
their match. It was just that getting on that site and getting around Messiah himself.
It's the big question marks left on the table for the squad and again if it doesn't happen
I feel like a lucid for just
Not as a team, but individually playing just a step better
Well, it is the T side start of four notorious as we expected and it is a chance for them to start off the map hot
Because they need to do that if they want to stay alive any longer smoke down into bracket early on no pressure in through mid
Instead of not just playing it safe for the time being, you slowly start to approach up.
It's a 4 stack up for Elusive on Bracket 2 on each end.
Potential difficult place to crack into.
Playing for the Flash.
Same.
Bucks behind.
Two kills, Fall in favor, make it 3.
Trades back, but Fruit Cub not able to do anything more than that.
So Cameron, all the way down, at the bottom of mid, towards the T stairs, is the last
player live goes in through underpass, but I think Elusive have a pretty good handle
on this round.
It goes without saying, Nutt potentially about to go 0 for 3 in opening pistols, and
again it was never through strong suit.
I feel like something that this squad is known for is always playing a disadvantage at
the start of a map because of the pistols.
Just how much can they really capitalize off the secondary and third rounds?
one with no bomb plant. Most likely no bomb plant I should say. It should be a cool save
in the fall. You know we've seen crazy things but I don't think this is going to be one
of those scenarios where crazy happens. Karen gets tagged up, he's down to 16 HP, still
1v3, time dwindling away and so is the blood in his veins. Does get a nice little pass
and once he can make him a little crispier, but he won't. Frizzy finds the kill, keeping
to a live and elusive, again, take an opening pistol.
Well, forgive me for being a believer.
I just thought that maybe there was a chance in the moment.
But only one more headshot to be found towards the end of that round.
A really good setup for elusive, completely
knowing what Nut was going to do.
A bit of a counterplay would feel like,
I mean, once you see that bracket smoke go down early on
on the pistol round, you're expecting a popout
to one of those two sides.
It's almost the most standard
Pist around you see nowadays in this tier 2 scene
So good start for elusive and not
Invest much in anything a D. Go on fruit cup
And a D. Go that's gonna have to go very big Cameron also one for himself. I
Don't think two deals are gonna do much. I'll be honest. I'll be passing message this round
I mean we've seen fruit cup get a double the deal
But I don't think double is really gonna do enough long-term things obviously
Slowing down the CT side economy early making sure you know same doesn't get the op early on on a big map like this
A very important have I should say all the more better?
Is it gonna happen?
Eventually he will get that op and the difference maker will happen
It's just if you can delay it long enough to maybe at least get a little bit of rounds between you and elusive all the more better
Camera was spotted out, also knows there's two players in this art side.
Austin stays calm with the FAMAS, more kills fall in favor of the CTs, it's already done,
it's just bones, he has a Glock, and he is not long for the World 2-0 start, very easy
for Elusive early on.
Pretty much as expected however, once you get that pistol round win, you'll have
see what the bi is able to do now that nut is able to bolster up a little bit.
And this is that really important pace setting round for nut.
They can kind of at least make something happen.
Obviously, you know, getting some kills,
getting that bomb plan, big parts of it.
But long term, you need to really get these rounds early on when you should.
And if it's not now, later on down the road is less likely to happen.
So it's kind of early on, I'm going to say now or never,
Because you don't want to again give that momentum to a Lucifer, let alone Masai himself.
So you gotta just shut it down early.
Honestly, we've done performance Nade has this map as well.
Such a huge factor of not being able to perform to the standards that they did on that first map.
Although losing, I mean Nade had what?
Two insane clutches and a bunch of important frags behind that as well not able to land one this round and set its Cameron
Don't just fall back not very low for himself 25 HP. He comes jumping around with the burst block
Fortunately for Joji. He's able to tuck tail before that
Now we look elsewhere in bracket Messiah. He falls to the hands of fruit cup
5v3 low HP on two of the teas
It's a little bit of a fake too, obviously gonna leave Nate around on just 7 HP, throw
some utility, bait out some rotates and it is gonna be just awesome.
But the FAMAS taking that first contact and Hull is gonna drop a smoke, drop off a flash
try, make some space for himself, and drop in towards the mini pit position, maybe get
an angle work, but he's only gonna go out, but he is gonna get spotted on the jump.
Kermi is way around in this position.
Jonji actually can kill all sorts of things.
Nate Austin finds one.
Almost a second, but Kermi strikes him down from the sky.
He'll be a three on two.
And they might still try this on the retake.
No, I think just some damage.
Sane.
I think she's head around.
Oh boy.
Jonji tagging down Kermi low.
It made it a little bit more tantalizing, but as Cameron collects that kill, surely
It will just be the save of the Glill for Joji.
And a very good answer back from that.
I was worried for a moment that Austin was going to be able to find more than one kill
because that could have turned this entire head on its head.
Excuse me, this entire round on its head.
Is he going for the defuse?
Is he going for the infuse?
Oh, he's sticking it.
No one's around to stop it.
This is worst case scenario for not.
Does he get the defuse off of the last second?
Not quite.
Wow.
Oh, that was close.
That was scary.
Okay.
I just kind of flashed before my eyes the terrible things that were about to happen, but yeah
That was very close. I'd say
Half a second maybe a quarter second more and it would have been gone
Honestly, still a very dangerous round only Kermit surviving so the economy
Ford not obviously going on the upper end of it
But still definitely not out of the woods and a very even buy across the board for both sides
One's getting smoked with Bracket, large collection of the Tees in towards A once more, snaking
their way into the apartment, saying,
A spot of shoulder.
No contact with the bullets, however.
At least Messiah in a spot that could be very important here.
Cameron ready for it.
The superior elsewhere first goes turn around at the right time Nate also there with the Mac 10 makes it a lot easier of a kill
So crunch onto the a bomb site as there's still two defenders
The immediate vicinity
Slowdown as a smoke fades saying sprays down to curvy down low
Let's stop in their tracks for now. Then a finishes them off and now player down two players left for not
They have to try to get into the site a
A full defensive setup.
Austin doesn't have to talk. Austin go on the aggression, and a headshot collected on the fruit cup leads to trust up the bones.
Once again, we talked about his struggles on map one.
Map two is the way that he turns it up. But Austin, I mean, just so consistent with it in the pit.
Not a chance for him to do anything.
And he finds the third round, only losing one, but straight back to winning race.
I don't think that man could have played any better in that position, Austin just kind of
making sure it stays alive constantly being a thorn in the side.
Getting kills here, there, and a little bit of everywhere, whether it's from the nades
or the rest of himself, saying a good position to kind of cover off that library side, and
overall just really good positioning from Elusive to just make this nut roster struggle
a little bit more getting onto this site.
A little bit of a hero AK to make this one try and go the way, but he is actually first
to fall so that AK not lasting long at all.
Alus is doing such a good job just dissecting early on.
Of course this is a Lesser Buy or not so the expected result but still credit where
credits do.
Ten Frizzy also spot Fruit Club trying to get a little bit of aggression out of the
apartments, but it's only up to Nate and Bones. They both got Glocks, a little bit of utility,
best-case scenario, a kill falls in their favor as they flash don't you off just momentarily for
Bones to peek. Flash completely misses, don't you have to spray down one and his teammate
backs up for another one. Very easy round for Elusive. And I think that's the biggest thing
about this roster is that Elusive is the type of squad that isn't going to lose rounds that
that they shouldn't. You know, you don't see often that they're dropping rounds to
four spies, half-bys. They're pretty consistent with making sure that they keep a majority
of their team alive, they're being able to build up the economy, and it does work out
in the long run. I mean, it's a lot easier to win the game if you're just doing it
right when you're supposed to.
Yeah, I mean they play positions well enough where they can get the trades and spacing
great and obviously just the performance on an individual level is really good
and obviously they're currently outpacing notorious fairly quick early on and not
much of an answer from this squad yet which is I'm assuming the pause is
coming through so they can kind of discuss what's broken how to fix it and
when they can fix it if not this round when will it happen and again bones
without an op it's that space that he's now being denied he he doesn't
have that up he can't give early advantages early map control to the
tourists which is exactly what they need right now
so much utility stack that tourists be Lucid will be able to have a strong hold
on banana for the foreseeable future of this round. Nade goes down damage on
the nade. Brought down 40 HP. Smoke goes off close, nade. Lots of push through, it thinks
better of it however. Don't you guys wait? Dodges the flash, able to spray one easy. Cameron
don't dare to address afterwards, he'll meet the same fate. Oh, or maybe you'll just
get a kill through the smoke. I mean that works too. Kermi's in a good spot to spot
Sane. Ooh, just misses it. Sane's shoulder is seen. Kermi lets his blow fire, gives
up the positioning. A 4v4 still important over towards A for the T side. Bomb dropped
and spawned. 45 seconds left. It does seem like the group of this A bombsite play wants
to come in. Immediately snuffed out however, and it puts a hard damper on anything that
Nutt wants to try to put into this round. The bomb starts to move its way over, a Kermi
spot still known, tagged down, a headshot finishes him off. Messiah not quite able
to spray bones down. Instead it's Austin to get the trade and leaves it all down to Cameron.
They collect the bomb, but with 20 seconds left, has to find two kills and also make
his way onto the site. First one found, but Austin always there for a trade kill. 5-1.
Quite the opposite of what we've seen in the first map.
Yeah, early rounds getting traded on Ancient now that has definitely fallen to the wayside
and a four round lead for Elusive that it doesn't seem like this is gonna be
slipping away from them if this pace keeps going their way.
We're seeing Alucin play very safe, very defensively, they're not going for these aggressive overzealous
peeks, they're playing to kind of what they're good for, and that is being defensive, good
positioning, then just denying not necessarily map control, really pick it I'm saying,
but just denying site control.
I see another confidence there, there's a dry peek in the mid with the AWP running
across. Very good from Sane. Start off once again. Low buy for the T's, it's only pistols.
Should be an easy mop-up for Elusive. Unless they're able to overwhelm towards B, backup
utility comes in and Molotov will land at the feet of the T's, a wall and a nade. Also
the Bulls of Joji, that always helps when you get dropped to bomb, completely in your
territory. Make the T's push through while you have two G-Mates backing you up. Realistically
done and dusted already we'll see we'll see if not can get a killer too
even though if you can count them out of the round at this point don't you
spray through the wall and it's only ball into the tech nine
this man they pretty much through and through there's no denying what the
lucas kind of bring this table then not yeah oh gee with the shot and again
a little extra body shots. Asserting the dominance which they already are with a
five round lead and nut with just one single solitary round with nothing yet
catapulting for them. Everything is just coming up in spades for this elusive squad.
Timeout does begin to run out as we had a little look at the replays.
Nice shot I'm saying early on.
It's just easy for Elusive.
Once again it's only the pistols so you expect the round to be pretty flawless out
from Elusive.
Well, not do have to turn the heat up now. They're down. Elusive already secured a tied half. They're down by five.
You need to get something going on this key side. Not even really able to crack through onto the bomb site.
It's been mostly domination on the side of Elusive.
Except for one singular gun around. The first gun around.
Off the map.
Rough start.
Austin having a great match and the individual performances from this losing squad just continues
to obviously capitalizing the score line is off.
So for this pick towards fruit cup and he comes up again with an 11th kill.
Now 11th and 2, Kermi close by lurking in the halls but should be met with an AWP and
he will Kermi out of the round and now it's...
and lead maybe more from Joe Jesus right through to some good damage, Nate can't quite find it, Molly gonna fall short, follow up Nade, and Molly in combination puts them to 30.
But he's just gonna tuck and hide, Chrissy come in with a Nade towards Nade, hit the 5-1-2, and another notorious round seems like it is just being again dismantled.
Jump and kill, why not?
I'm gonna backstab for the last.
Yeah, it's it's rough for not right now. I mean elusive
You can just see the confidence there
They're so good at playing off of each other the dynamic of the CT side with the rotations coming into the right points
perfect stack-ups wherever
Tees that try to put aggression on too. I
Mean it's a thing of beauty almost and not it's just getting absolutely dismantled
Not really sure what else you can do
Last time it was kind of a maybe a little bit of a player performance, but this time around it is just I
Mean Austin's having a great game. Beside doesn't have to do anything
He has a single kill and you couldn't even begin to comprehend that from the score and from what we saw on map one
I mean
935 into 10 and 3 like down the line for this lucid squad is just
outperforming notorious and again I don't think there's a single thing you can
kind of point out for the squad other than maybe just maybe what hope you have
lies in the CT side but if all you have is a single round it's not really much
hope left you know what there's always hope to be found Anthony now there's a
I am known to be a hopefully guy.
Oh, there's a legshot on the Kermie.
Well, a little less hope in this round, but still...
Okay, now, Cameron's got an AK.
Do you believe...
Um, that Nade makes me believe a little bit less,
but I mean, maybe Cameron can make something happen with an AK.
Maybe the Tech Nines can get really aggressive.
I'm just wondering why it's been a hits through and through round after round.
It's just rough on the side, and you can't get any map control going at all, though as
I say that, I mean at least they've made headway into Bracket.
Player station looking towards the Orchids, where Frizzy tries to spray.
It's good to push them off at the time being, pops down.
No kills found for him, it's awesome and the paint is going absolutely insane!
What the hell is that?
3k with precision point spray control that's why that's why you practice it
prior to your matches that's a manual team yeah yeah it is and I mean 15 and
2 now I mean he's not known for just utility but apparently the the
transitional spray as well obviously you can see he's happy with what he just
pulled off there a seven round lead as we go into round 10 Donnie
Round 10.
Round number 10.
Still a chance for Nutt to make this at least a little bit competitive, although Junkie
shuts that out early on, flashes in through all mid.
To allow kills to continue to fall loose its way.
Down a player, Nutt, do go back to collect the bomb, and it made space in towards B.
There's no one there immediately to defend the site, so this might be the first chance for Nutt to actually
find themselves in a decent spot there, but the bombs dropped in bottom mid.
Ah, it's just calamity after calamity.
It's possible that pushing through the smoke tries to spread onto another one, a two on two.
They have to go back towards the bomb where Messiah goes lying, wait.
The heavy hitter of the first map hasn't need his name to be said very often so far.
On map number two.
Such important control towards that bomb.
Making a real chance, Frizzy rotates in.
You can see the bomb, you can also see the back of Nate.
And now it's just Cameron.
50 seconds to work with.
Clearly position known.
He doesn't even know what to do in this situation. I mean, it's so difficult.
It just feels like every time Nott takes a step forward,
they end up falling back two or three.
Kind of surprising from the squad.
You expected good things out of him. I expected good things out of him.
and this is just a very underwhelming performance overall.
Cameron, maybe you can get the bomb, maybe get a kill out of it,
but should be traded pretty instantaneously.
But instead, it's Messiah to get their fifth kill and an eight round lead.
And I just don't see this turning around in the second half.
Again, elusive are just comfortable.
They're confident and they're just playing exactly like that.
They're taking peeks.
They're being aggressive now.
Once you have a confident squad that can get kills, you have an even exponentially more dangerous team to have to contest with.
Time out.
Taking for the side of Lucif it does begin to near its end.
And a little bit of a heart. That's nice.
Not only does John G. spray down the bodies of his deceased enemies, he also puts a little
graffiti on the ground to spread some love, so you know what?
Got to even yourself out.
Can't all just be banned.
The angel and the devil on his shoulders get a little bit of time.
The angel only around for the beginning of the round during the countdown.
Yeah.
And then after that it's straight to warrior mode.
I mean, he's definitely taking a step up from the first map.
Uh, Joji not having a bad map per se, uh, over on Ancient, but just wasn't really needed
to do much.
That's a nice shot from both of those players to open up.
One for one, FruCup.
Sassination shot straight to the head.
Doesn't allow brackets once again to be taken.
The push pole of Inferno does have its head rear-round once more as Messiah just
lines of players sprays them down native trade back but nate's the only one left
austin
makes it look too easy in the apartments
the ijl makes no headway into the round besides that double digits found
for elusive and there's still one more round left in the house
this surely doesn't feel like a notorious map pick but it is uh...
obviously map one went the way
elusive thirteen nine and this one is looking to be
a one-sided performance.
And again, it's just been all elusive.
I mean, the one-round nut did get,
it actually almost lost it
from a little bit of a ninja defuse at the very last second.
And it was close.
It was, and I could have been an 11-0,
but instead we're at a 10-1,
and it's a long peek from the op over towards the calls
and it girms me out of the round
and an instantaneous man advantage for Alucif and this is just...
It always feels like Notorious have given up a little bit.
I mean, this is definitely a Notorious that looks and feels defeated at the end of the day.
I... individualistic plays like that.
Nothing coming up.
It almost feels like mentally they've been destroyed within this matchup.
5v2.
Still over a minute left in the round.
Bones and Nate are able to connect.
He's worth banana, but they're flashed off and Joji comes in a wild spray, Lance 1, made trades back, but it's Nade against the world.
Still two more players, excuse me, four more players for him to find.
As the smoke is bound to be, but he's gonna walk into the crossfire.
Two CTs lying in wait, Messiah jiggling around, but isn't even needed.
It's frizzy to close it out, it's an 11-1-1-1-1 half in favor of elusive.
and it seems like it's only a matter of time until nut is eliminated.
The best of Counter-Strike 2 available now on shop.esl.com.
I
Alright, eleven won the start to Inferno, elusive just run away with the map, now the
only question is, how quick and painless do they want to make it for the side of Nut?
How much fight does Nut have in them?
I mean, presumably I think we're all on the same page that it's a death sense at
this point.
A death certificate just waiting to be signed, but...
How much fight does not have in them?
They're a feisty bunch, Anthony.
They are. They could definitely be feisty, and they definitely still have that energy in them.
It's just whether or not it's this map, or this match-up in general.
Map 1 looked like they were riding some highs, not first half.
The second half they slowed down, obviously losing.
But this map too, there wasn't any, I think, positive remarks that I could honestly say.
As much as I love this squad.
It was just a rough start for them, and the rough start became a rough mid, and then a rough mid became a rough ending.
And do you think they're gonna take pistols is the question. Will they go 0 for 4, or what do you think they'll grab them?
I mean, there's a chance Camus got Duboretus, and he's got a hit coming in towards him.
His teammates are falling all around him, and the Duboretus can't connect much of anything,
so I don't think that nut is gonna be able to get a piss around.
I actually think it's gonna be much of the same we've seen previous as the bomb gets planted,
and it's only Fruit Cup and Nate.
Think Fruit Cup, looking at Nate, trying to motivate them to go out first,
don't worry, I'll trade you.
We've all felt that in our pugs, and especially when you're playing with your friends,
Really, you're just getting baited. It's fine. It's fine.
But what's not fine is the fact that Nutt are now 0 for 4 in opening pistols, and they are down 11 rounds.
We're around 14, and we are on match points.
Yeah, unfortunately, I mean, notorious a rough day for them at the end of the day, you know.
Roster that definitely is better than the showing right now, but I think this is a statement
win for Elusive as well.
At the end of the day, no matter if Notorious showed up or didn't show up, Elusive have
played this map great, the first map has begun in time.
Again, it's so nice to see him back on the server.
Great character within North America.
Me almost brought down of course. It's a jumping Mac 10 kill. I think this is John
G's third jumping kill this series so far should have had a Mac 7
Good it could have really did it. Well, sorry. It would be a sawed-off, but yeah, that would actually make it even
This is this is starting to feel maybe like there's a chance
In this round at least, you know, they got some good positioning the CT side is
That's the only thing he can do.
Nuts better side, Birdcup gets a good dig shot off, finds himself a kill, he gets put
to just a pair of HP left.
And it's 2 on 4.
Jongi down to 20.
I didn't even realize I started really picking up within this game.
As I say that, he does fall down.
That's just up to Jongi.
There is still life in nut after all there is still something worth fighting for and every comeback has to start one round at a time
Even if you have to go 11 straight to win
Starting off with one
Exactly what you got to do it's five seven doesn't connect with the kill and John G. I make that another jumping kill
Of course, why not?
No time left the bomb all the way towards that mid. It's still a one round for not
Hopefully they just don't give anything else up to this Mach 10.
They'll let any more money be collected.
Maybe go for the kill.
Okay, I thought they were going to go for the kill post round, but instead they just end
the round with the killing of Joji, and it is 12-2.
Now do we get excited, Anthony?
No.
No.
Not until not probably hit like seven rounds at the least.
Jogi just, I don't think actively, he somehow has managed to buy the jumping and mouse one into the same combination because this man, when he shoots, he's never feet planted, ever. So far, I feel like.
I mean, hey, why does it all jump around? Have a good time.
Like that one song, jump around.
How's it go?
Jump up and get down.
get down. But not our down 10 rounds. Can you really get on the top?
Well, not when Joeji comes swinging in with a tech 9 like that. Kermi is at least there
to clean up. MP9 goes absolutely insane. One more with the USP. That is a great ace
to try to get some blood flowing in this nut side. Of course, it's an eco ace, but very
clean shots towards the end does put a little icing on top. Now they're only down 9.
Only nine rounds and also nine match map points, but that's for later on down the road.
We know that not our better sheet to side team across all maps, that's just kind of
the way this team is built in all honesty.
Do I think they can really put, you know, nine more straight rounds in it?
No, I think they're going to fumble one round or another.
It'll probably be a round like this too, that's the worst part.
Well, it's not a good start.
Oh.
Oh, it is cleaned up.
God, please, no.
Don't let me be right.
Don't let me be right!
Oh, my!
Okay.
3 on 3, low HP on Bones, Frizzy, Nathan spot him, Nathan spot him, damage done, no kill
converted.
We've got 17 HP on Bones, who goes down, and that was a 2 on 2.
Guns collected for the side of Elusive, retaken through brackets.
Dane tries to spray down, only good for damage, and Joji, he set up perfectly to
try to capitalize on this clutch situation. No armor for him, so aim punch could have
a factor within. It's still such a low HP, only one bullet needed for Kermi. One or two
for Nate. They start to swing into him. First kill, already found. A tap on the bomb,
Joji. He goes to corner. He doesn't need to. Nate, not on the bomb, not sticking
in the bridge! Just bit the flick! It's exactly what you expected! It is elusive,
able to pick up on a lesser by its nuts does not showing up when their name was
being called on a 13 at 3 victory on inferno congratulations too elusive as
they continue with their lower bracket stampede I hate that I was right on that
one but a map lost here for nut and the gang and a hard one at that but
there is still many more matches to be played whether it be the regular
or not, there is still more cups to be played within the year, so hopefully this is just
something of at least building blocks for them.
Definitely building blocks.
I do think Elusive are a very interesting team to watch, especially as this cup proceeds
further, but for today, nothing else to watch, at least on this stream.
There is games elsewhere as you can see on the bracket over there, Zambler is
up 1.
storm bore up one empire all up one within their series but a conclusion for
elusive and not as we give commiserations to not who bow out of the
ECL NA cup number one definitely lack of performance overall and I mean again the
fact that this elusive squad really had such a great run on this map from
start to finish on map to map one little rough little shaky but they
definitely started to get defeat under them and definitely just never really gave up on this map too and
It was just amazing start from
Messiah map one nearly dropping 30 kills all the way to now Austin over on a site being a pillar of that defensive line over there
It was just non-stop for this lucid squad and I feel like they're bringing of
The gathering of you know some of the NA talent around here together whether it be old or new and it's looking like it's clicking
Looking for- Sure, sure, and they're gonna have to have a job as uh, lower bracket continues, they're gonna face up either against full or zumblers.
But that's for Friday, and that's not today. Today's done. We're done.
Uh, Anthony, I think it's time to say goodbye. I've been bugged ahead.
Thank you guys for watching. Anthony, do you have any final remarks for the night?
Uh, no. I've been all on Gaming23 and, you know, thank you guys for sticking around, and hopefully you'll see more of us.
