Tell me where you want to go
We could fight to the stars, yeah
Oh, oh, tell me if you want to stay
We could fight right and then, yeah
Oh, oh, tell me where you want to go
We could fight to the stars, yeah
Oh, oh, tell me where you want to go
I
I don't wanna...
I don't wanna...

Cough, cough, cough, cough...
Chats?
Guys?
It's apparently has been a very long weekend in the rivals community.
I was off streaming Overwatch OWCS grinding away my droppies and I knew things weren't
going too hot this past week already.
But, it seems like things were way worse
than a lot of people realized
until this weekend, or this past week especially,
really started being like, hey guys,
game doesn't feel good, stuff's going on,
cheaters are everywhere.
And if you haven't seen,
There's a lot of people that have been talking about it.
Is Brave You to Hop on Rivals with the Cheater Epidemic shit? Well, that's what I'm here to do.
Because, last time I was here, I was a little sad, I never got to play the Dino.
Dino's getting banned in every game, that was what I was enjoying the most.
And, also their drops have been really bad.
It's been no secret for a while that Rivals puts out content bypasses in almost any games, but it's Twitch drops for
It's ignite tournament. It's the game in general. I just like very lackluster and compared to other games
And it's something I feel like Rivals could have been able to do for a long time
But they just kind of either refuse to or maybe they just don't actually end up caring as much about it
Sorry, I've loaded in but don't worry. I'm not gonna be
I'm not gonna be in this training range for too long. I'm gonna start showing you guys some stuff
Um, oh, it's still a black screen. Lovely. This is we're off to a hot start today
Usually why it's a black screen because I was playing a rush. So it's on my overwatch scene
um
and
It's really sad uh because I
Have played these games before
And I really do love a lot of the good things that Rivals does.
Like Rivals puts out content fast as almost any game I've ever seen.
They respond to things very quickly and they even respond to what I'm going to talk about today already.
They've already responded.
They seem very in tune with their community and they seem to really want to have the game thrive and succeed.
But I'm a little nervous and I haven't even read the egg
I'm a little nervous because I already saw the title of the post
And what I'm gonna be looking at is they finally addressed all the cheaters that people have been talking about the last few days
Honestly, I was I was telling Russia. I'm like, yeah, we should do some spectating cheater. Apparently they're fucking everywhere
But the reason why I'm nervous about it is because I
I'm slightly distrustful of, like, is this going to be a consistent thing in the future?
For those who don't know, people have been talking this whole week, especially this
weekend.
Last week it started this weekend, it really blew up.
I'll just show you a couple of tweets from other people, notable people.
I don't like to do posts with the cheating situation, Rammel's really bad.
Viewers are spending with codes from Slash No Plus lobbies where people are hard locking.
Like you'd ranked got a cheer on my third game. It's legitimately unplayable
Hi, G had one
They refuse placing a high rank lobby until the cheater situation is fixed and draw my penny
Jay also hot comes in on it. You'll think it's Samsung fridge for the big five
You have to appreciate your break me. So I think you get to go through this though as a small figure in the in the
More Alice community. I feel like I had to speak about the cheating issue being more light to the topic apparently cheaters in the game
Are deleting the anti-cheat feature rivals claims? This is not true
From when I have already read but like I haven't got that deep into it
So we'll go there in the future and hacking without consequence in the games
It hasn't happened to be yet
But a hacker did go by the name evil J3 and ruined a few streamers slash friends games
Can we maybe fix this with a better anti-cheat system or maybe even a working one?
needy ass rivals
President of the United States LeBron James and Kim Kardashian great job
Um, and I also grabbed this clip.
I'm not, I don't, I didn't listen to it with sound.
So I'm just going to show it without, it's like the current
state of more rivals we agreed to draw because there's a cheater.
And it's like, well, first off, welcome to Overwatch.
We did this for years where everyone learned how to like, just draw
out games and waste the cheaters time.
Cause like, you know, it's the only thing you can really do to fight back.
Uh, a lot of times, uh, that said, though, um, it's not even just
that it's the cheaters themselves were actually posting all over social media talking about
how bad Celestial players are and like shit talking them and literally like they were
like streaming on Twitch getting real viewership hard locking and selling cheats. And I'm pretty
sure in the replies of this tweet is a cheap provider that's like talking about like, oh,
He got the sheets from us and he's like, nah, I didn't get him from you.
And they're like literally trying to use each other as like free advertisement.
Um, and they're all just kind of like flaunting it left and right.
I want, I have this one from route to, uh, I've known around a long time,
but that's, this isn't part of this cheered thing.
I'll come back to it.
But as of literally like a few minutes, like a couple of hours ago,
rivals dropped this post.
Uh, and I just wanted to point out, by the way, rivals did not stop.
it's normal, like the drop updates.
Rivals is kept on trucking.
So it's like twist drops, cheating, skins, skins.
And I think that's what kind of makes me
a little bit nervous because don't forget,
rivals did say that they were going to start cracking down
a little bit more on cheaters and people stream sniping
and throwing games and all this stuff.
And it was supposed to be the point reward.
Like if you like someone throws your game
cheats in your game you get points back. I haven't seen it once. I haven't met a single person who's
seen it once. I haven't seen anyone talk about it anywhere. And I'm worried that
Rivals has gotten very good at telling us what we want to hear, but we don't actually end up seeing
it. You know, and I'm very much like an action speak louder than type of person. But this is
obviously good. Let's read it first. Palathe announcement, zero tolerance on cheats.
Hi, Rivals. Recently, our telemetry detected that following the weekend update, a faction
of rogue players began promoting and deploying unauthorized third-party enhancements. This
This blatant disruption of our FAIR battlefield has sparked widespread concerns across the
coronavirus.
In response, our security teams have initiated an immediate, targeted purge.
Maintaining a FAIR and honorable arena is our primary directive.
We continuously combat sheets, scripts, and illicit tech through multi-layered, anti-cheat,
monitoring, abnormal behavior detection, historical data reviews, and manual verification.
This recent enforcement wave is a targeted crackdown addressing newly detected cheats
building upon our foundational security framework.
Following our investigation, accounts confirmed to be involved in violations such as using
cheats, unless it assists programs or client tampering have been permanently banned.
These signatures for these cheats have already been logged by our security team and integrated
into our automated penalty system.
Moving forward, any account verified to be using related cheats or illicit assist software
will be permanently banned immediately.
Why is that a, like, this sounds good until you like break it down.
It's like, well we detected all these things and now we ban them and in the future we're
going to ban them.
Isn't that like how it always is supposed to work though?
Right?
right? Like, the only thing I could think of is that they had a band wave. So for those
who don't know, a lot of companies, especially like video game companies, when they're doing
cheat, cheater bands, they do them in waves. The reason they do them in waves is because
let's say they detect someone who's cheating and then they wait like two or three months
to ban them. The reason they do that and they do them all at once is because it makes it
harder for the cheat provider to figure out what part of updates the game manufacturer
discover how their cheat works and ban it.
It's basically always a tug of war.
And so what I've perceived from this is that they had already flagged a lot of these accounts
and went waiting for the next ban wave.
But regardless though, this is just how it normally works.
And I don't see how this is changing it, realistically.
And I still haven't seen anybody get the compensation points back.
So I'm like, well, this just seems like the way it's always worked.
Like this doesn't seem like anything new.
And honestly, realistically, it shouldn't be an account ban.
It should be a hardware ban or an IP ban at the minimum.
And the reason why it should be a hardware ban
is because rivals is a free to play game.
You can just spam accounts.
What stops you at that point?
You lose your skins?
I know.
But we're going to get through everything,
but I'm still going to talk about as we're going.
This is the point of making this still stands.
For severe cases involving repeated violations,
organized distribution, or penalty evasion,
we will implement further restrictive measures as necessary.
These include but are not limited to account bands,
device bands, and IP bands to continuously safeguard
our fair gaming environment.
So if you cheat once on one account, that's okay.
But if you do it multiple times,
now we're gonna do something.
Is that smart?
Is that a good idea?
I don't know.
I don't know about that.
For full details on the complete list of affected accounts, please visit this website.
I heard there's a huge list of accounts on here.
It's actually crazy. We'll get there in a second, though.
We urge all rivals, do not download, purchase, or distribute, or use any cheats, scripts, game modifiers, or illicit third-party tools.
If you believe you are unjustly penalized, you may submit an appeal through our official customer support channels for review.
Thank you for standing with us to protect the chronoverse, if you spot a suspected anomaly
or cheater in your matches, report them immediately.
We will continuously build, level up our anti-cheat arsenal to ensure that true skill, not forbidden
tech reign supreme.
So something they change about the report system a while ago that I really don't like
is you actually can't type in there anymore.
So like for example, if I reported somebody and I'm like, I can give you good info.
I can tell you at this at this spot like 1307 1309 and 1312 like boom, you can actually see it hard lock
Instead of watching the 26 minute long match
You can't do it anymore. It's cuz people were typing bullshit, but it's like okay, but now it's just
Like if it's bullshit just fucking to disregard it, right? If it's manual review a manual review person to look at and go
Yeah, this is just dog shit and move on
right
So like I understand people were just typing dog shit on it
But like aren't the systems supposed to be if the systems are supposed to be taking action on people's accounts, right?
For throwing and for bait like for cheating and all that stuff shouldn't the system also be smart enough to understand that if you're just filling it with
Dog shit. It's like whatever, you know
You took what explanations in the text box it's just for the negative behavior category that only asked for the replay ID
Is it only that one? I thought you could do it in any of them. I think you can only put in the
replay ID, at least from last time I checked it. Please note, rumors circulating online that the
anti-cheat system can be bypassed using launch parameters are completely false. Our anti-cheat
launches concurrently with the game client and cannot be disabled independently. The parameter
in question merely hides the pop-up window. It does not deactivate the anti-cheat software in
any capacity. Alright, let's look at the length that they sent with this. Okay, so it's all pretty
much the same. And then at the bottom it says below is the list of penultimate bank accounts from
this wave. This includes all forms of cheats and exploits. I'm just going to let it scroll.
I'm noticing a lot of bronze in here.
You guys see a lot of bronze?
Grandmaster and bronze seem to be the two that stick out the most.
How long do I take?
I mean, I can go faster.
By the way, am I surprised that people like with names like this are cheating?
No, not even a little.
you can control F to see how many accounts in each rank got banned. How? Oh, you just
type in Celestial. Let's do that. Let's do that. Control F. 39 of Celestial. Control
F 184 and bronze 49 and silver
65 and diamond
I did not reset. Is there 65 and gray master as well? Yes, 65 and gray master.
I did silver, platinum, 52, gold, 31, um, where's one of them all, one, literally one,
One. Below is the list of accounts involved in severe violations from this wave. This
includes all forms of cheats and exploits. Corresponding devices have been permanently
banned. So there's three. So three hardware bans. So how many bans are in here in general?
Actually, no, I just realized, sorry, there's three, one of all, three, one of all, one
above all bands and three, and three horror bands.
How many bands were in here in general, though?
I'm sure someone could do the math and figure it out, but only three got the big band, which
is seems a little low to me 500 500 seems is it just from this weekend they
They've been 500 accounts just this weekend.
Eternity.
Is there just nothing for attorney?
Oh, it's early in the season.
There might not be any attorneys.
There's just one above all.
Yeah, okay, so there might not be any eternity right now.
Eternity doesn't technically exist.
So eternity is after celestial, but one above all is top 500.
So because there isn't enough, there isn't 500, more than 500 players in eternity.
Right now it's probably probably celestial.
So yeah, okay, that makes sense.
Um, I don't know, like I will say I'm very appreciative to see a list like this where
they're like, yeah, here's all the accounts we've been.
all of them, boom, and they just show you all of them. But I am a little nervous on the whole.
This isn't the first time we've been told, like, oh, we're doing these changes, like,
don't worry, we're going to make it better. And then it doesn't really get better, or the systems
that we said that we're going to be coming don't actually show up. And I know those things take
time, but that's also something I feel like they could tell us that they're still in development,
like they're still working on it, you know. And maybe maybe I'm crazy, but I think that's pretty
unless this is literally just this weekend, like 500 accounts over the weekend, that's it.
This seems like a really short list, you know.
The first thing about hardware bands, hardware bands are typically very
severe and companies do not like doing them. But I think we've gotten to a point with gaming where
especially in free-to-play games, you need to be more strict because they can just spam accounts, you know?
Last thing also, I know this isn't totally pertaining to it. I actually grabbed...
Where is it? I've grabbed this video from Rao,
and
this isn't totally pertaining to the cheater thing.
I'm gonna let the video play really quick, and I'll explain why I grabbed it after.
Handled right now is unacceptable. Please give me one minute of your day.
The way that Throws are being handled right now is unacceptable. Please give me one minute of your time.
I'm not talking about someone having a bad game and I'm not talking about someone picking a hero you don't want.
I'm talking about people who get tilted, stop playing, and AFK and spawn to purely ruin the experience for others.
The devs told us two and a half months ago that they were going to implement better systems.
They promised better systems that were going to detect throwers, manual reviews, and refund of points if a thrower was found on your team.
on your team.
And I can tell you right now personally, I've had like three or four games like this.
Because it's like streamer, although like they're, they're, they soft play is like
the way they do it.
Like they'll just like run around, but they're not actually playing the game.
None of those people ever got banned, by the way.
All season later, where is it at?
I haven't had this happen one time.
Down below is exactly what I'm talking about.
Just yesterday, this widow lost an embarrassing 1v1 on Luna.
Our team called them out on a bad ultimate that they had and they started flaming everyone
and switch to Widow to AFK and spawn.
Funny enough, when I went back to the footage,
they were also potentially spawning.
Yo, thank you Big 50 Gifted on the YouTube side.
Holy shit, hold on, let me get through this video.
W50 Gifted, thank you so much to ourself, W to ourself.
Soft spotting their heels on Luna.
Not only were they throwing, but they were hard cheating,
and nothing was done about it.
They're level 100.
Who knows how many people they have done this shit to?
And if the system can't punish something this obvious,
what is it doing?
We don't care about skins or events.
We feel ignored, and if you agree,
I need you to share this video.
not just like it and move on, we need to share this conversation, talk about it and put pressure
on the dev team to actually do something because if we don't, nothing.
So there's a few things here.
There's a lot of things to break down, right?
Throwing in a lot of ways is a little subjective, right?
Where people think like people who just have a bad game is throwing.
While other people think it's like sitting in spawn or just jumping off the map, that
one's a little more obvious.
But it's the same thing with like cheating, right? It's just that's the woman. That's more obvious
People saw through all the time, right? They saw through all the time. But how do you deal with that?
Right, how do you how do you stop it? How do you ban them other than hard-throwing, right?
And I don't think they're all getting manually reviewed considering that we now have the PlayStation numbers millions of people play this game every day
not millions people every day, but like
Millions of you are playing every week considering you have Xbox PlayStation and Steam with its concurrent so millions people are playing a week
Like I'd say probably
Millions. Yes, it's PlayStation release that it had it has like 1.56 or something million players
Well, like a week playing rivals
Now if you take that just PlayStation you also have Xbox right and so they we can say that the game is much bigger on console
And then it is also I think I just realized I think I didn't turn my ads from back from yesterday. Hold on
I was running a WC Esther. Oh, yeah. Oh my god. I was good. You guys were getting fucking pummeled. Oh god. Apologies
Sorry, you guys are getting fucking pummeled from the
From the ads from the from the last one my bad they're fixed now
That said though
Yeah, like throwing is a problem, right? It is an issue, but
There's another issue as well
And I'm not really trying to pick on route here, but I do see a lot of videos from around not trying to pick on them
I do like them. We've I met him in like apex years ago
There's very rarely any good content coming out of rivals these days
And
You could say for good reason. Why would you even there's not a whole lot of good to talk about I?
Personally sort of disagree. I think the dyno was a great opportunity
I saw a couple cool last videos like on tick tock where like people were recreating like Godzilla fucking edits for like dyno
Highlights fucking sick, right?
Ignite's been fun. Well, guess what though, right? I won't you could say Ignite's been fun. I didn't watch any ignite personally
One, because their drops just suck, and I'm so sick of the drops being so bad for rivals
at this point.
And two, don't forget, the week the dyno released, every pro player was on Twitter and on Reddit
talking about how fucking dog shit the game is with the dyno, immediately calling for it
to be nerfed.
Like, into the ground.
Don't get me wrong, the dyno was fucking strong.
Like, if you want to ban them in your game short, but like, we can't have nothing.
You know and the reason why I talk about like I don't think it's a good. That's not a good sign
that's not a good sign that like
Everything is doom and gloom everything sucks and we don't really ever appreciate the good and this is a good opportunity to well
this is actually bad cheating is actually bad and
Throwing is actually bad hundred percent, but there's also not really a whole lot of good either
you know
And I think that
People who a game that's like more casual like rivals already has a bit of a bad perception from the outside for its community
rightfully so in a lot of ways
But you can fix that right it can be fixed it takes time
But also there's a lot of people that probably will never come back because they don't want to like load up the game again
Get flamed on day one trying to play a new hero for fun and
And then go all right. I'm just never playing that shit again
You know like there's no reason and you can't get them on the competitive side
We can't make them hardcore because well first off on your competitive side
The game is inherently a lot of ways not competitive to the ignite side doesn't really do what it needs to do to get bring people in or new people in
and three
uh...
the balance of the game
is a little over the place
right your pro players as any of every character in the sun needs to be
nerfed
to some extent they're fucking right
like the fact that the next is gone untouched
the fact that black cat when untouched
the fact that gambit is still a permit
proves a lot of those things
anything new and fun and shiny that comes along gets destroyed
And also cool, like unique parts that made rivals very enjoyable to like work with other players with like team ups are really just kind of gone.
All the team ups are either kind of like really not that useful anymore or like not that good.
So that said, right?
Like I'm going to just circle it all back.
I said that I wish there was more positive stuff around rivals, right?
And I think people don't understand how much damage everything constantly being doom and gloom will do.
Because in a moment like this where doom and gloom is required it is good to call out that the game is being one ramp with cheaters
It is good to call out that nothing is happening about
Throwers it is good to call out that that seems that we were promised that there would be
Like compensation points when people throw games or you face a cheater right you get points back
You get compensation like the game goes. Hey like that wasn't your fault. Someone was cheating our bad. We'll catch up next time
Here's your points back. Those are good things to call the game out on
But it's all the always bad now
It's always always always everything sucks everything's bad and there's not any good and like I think we had a good
Opportunity for some good at the start of the season with the dyno
And I think I just want to check that I think we're kind of ruining our own stuff a little bit
with
Like at the time we had something fun that comes along we immediately all go this is broken this sucks
So what fuck you we need is nerfed in the ground. Oh, okay
We need to perm a bandit and now he's perm a band every game and also it's just not that great
It's because of it and get about engagement. I understand trust me. I've been in the game for a long time
I know how engagement works, but like that's what I also mean though where you can farm that engagement into the ground
But that well will dry up
The well will dry up at some point. You just don't see the bottom of the well yet
And I'm trying to tell you stop drinking from the well or stop pulling so much water from the well as fast as you are
Because you will run out of water
It will happen. It needs to be sustainable and for moments like this where genuinely you do need to call out these bad things
It almost
invalidates how serious it is because it's like everything is bad everything is shit
Do you get what I'm saying?
Anyways, anyways point being I really do hope rivals actually steps up a little bit more with the cheater stuff
I hope they said I'm more with the thrower stuff. I
Hope that if you heard if you heard me talking about the drop stuff in the past
I really hope they start leaning in and actually supporting their own community more
Because like I know what the budget looks like for sponsors. I know what it looks like
It's sort of every season
they pay big money to bring every streamer in under the sun to come play the game and I've been I've been keeping an
Eye on the numbers. I see the viewership numbers
it's getting lower every season just by a little bit and
It's good to bring new big names in and bring in, you know
Giant streamers that play other games to come in and like show people the new season that is a good thing
But they're not investing in their current creators either
right and one of the best ways you can invest in your current creators is for example drops because then
People that actually support the game always know oh I can go to so-and-so creator or I can go to so-and-so creator or do
Whatever or for ignite is another good example getting people in the door with ignite right
Getting people in the door with ignite to actually care about the game and to actually start to understand like oh
There's more to the game than just me running down and quick playing tolling w then dying right those are all good things
you could do, but rivals isn't doing any of them at the moment. They're just kind of like stepping
on the gas, more skins, more content, more skins, another hero, more skins, more skins.
Cool event, but like it wasn't that good. Like the Loki event is a good example.
Step on the gas, more and more and more skins, you know what I mean? And I'm like,
we have to take care of the base. We're at, we're a year and a half in, we have to start
taking care of the base of the game, so that the rest of it can grow.
And this is a good example of taking care of the base.
Does that make sense?
Cool.
Anyways, I know that might have been a little bit high level, I know that might have sounded
a little bit wonky to some of you, but I felt like it was very important to at least talk
about because there is a lot of good, and I think Rivals is a lot of things that I've
always wished games would even do, and they do do those things, but that doesn't mean
we shouldn't give them passes on not doing the basic things that could do great services
and good for their game and for their community. Anyways, sorry about that. Locks me in the
two months. Durace will be giving me the big 50 gifts on these, so I appreciate you. Sorry,
I was mid-yap. Plumpy thing in the three months. Bean thing in the three months. Streaming
in the seven months. Vincent with the big super chat. Appreciate you, dude. Thank you.
Oh, yeah. That's a good example. Really quick. Black Widow has never gotten changed. Black Widow
is arguably the character that needs the biggest rework and has gotten nothing. And you can't,
you can't give her more damage. You could, but nothing. There's nothing there, you know, exacting
the prime. I'm only spending the 10 months, especially the 9 months, I appreciate you.
So seems like they need to slow down on pumping out content. They are focused too much on
skins and content, then focusing on making the game playable. Maybe spend a season fixing
the game.
See, the only thing that scares me about that, right, is I played Rainbow Six Siege back
in the day and there was a season called Operation Health way back when and I
remember Operation Health was like the supposed to be the God said in season
and everyone was like oh my god this is gonna save us and then it was ass it was
really bad it was so fucking dog shit and he was that was actually around the
time I stopped playing so I get that but I don't think it
It would be impossible for rivals to do both.
I don't think that they, I think that they've already made their decision.
They have to stay foot on the gas for content, however, that's not that they can't do the
other things too.
It's not like they can.
So anyways.
They need to do full hero reworks like Dota would do?
I mean, a lot of games do reworks.
Let's go one year subscribe and today's my 21st birthday.
Well, yo, happy birthday, yo, Chapman.
It feels birthday mint for all of that.
Appreciate you being here.
Appreciate you two or three months of and and how
a birthday did.
So yeah, I don't know.
And that's that's where we're at.
It feels like whatever we do, the fan base will never be happy.
Well, that's what kind of what I meant by, you know, like,
It's time to...
There's certain parts that are good.
And they need to be shown that they're good.
Meanwhile, the parts that aren't as good, you know?
Like, those need to be addressed when it happens.
Do you know what I mean?
Did you cover Evil J3? No, is there...
Do you guys have, like...
Is there like codes of Evil J3?
Can I find it?
If I just type in the name...
is it this guy? Nope. Or he's banned, I don't know. Yeah, I don't have like, I don't have
How many specific codes?
Like, I haven't been on this week, you know?
Let me see.
Kingsman had evil... or a game, sort of, evil J3?
Well, how would I even find this though?
Yeah, isn't he another account? What's his other account?
Who has other accounts called? Hitscan.
Wait, he's not...
He changes his name?
He's at his hitscan account, it's gone.
He changed his name on it?
Or that, or he removed me.
Or I'm not typing in right.
This one?
Nope.
This can?
I think you removed me feels bad inside the full name is it this one she am one
That's the man. Did he remove me? He did remove me. Wow, that's kind of messed up, but alright.
That's kind of messed up, but alright. Cool. These two famous now.
to be fair that's his alt account, that's the account I had him at and on.
I didn't have his main added, because we went to play one night on his alt for the tournament.
Because I played on wash and I would always do them on cast and it feels right.
I think it's your one. I really think mine.
All right, well, let's just go play a couple ranked games, I guess.
You want J3's reaction? I don't want to watch J3's reaction. I already kind of said what I wanted to say on it.
All right, let's go.
It's only 15 months, I appreciate it.
The big rocket leak news.
Is that what you link speed?
Rocket League and New Era?
What is that?
Like the game with two hundred and six months in advance,
appreciate it.
The new house found.
They're updating Rocket League to Unreal Engine 6.
It'll be the first game on Unreal Engine 6.
I feel like I'd be nervous about that as a as a Rocket League player no
cuz like you're the first game to go over you're probably it's probably gonna be very buggy
it's probably gonna have issues you know might break some core game mechanics
It looks clean, I mean no one said it looked clean.
Wait, I just realized, hang on, isn't the new Halo game getting built in Unreal Engine
5?
And Unreal Engine 6 is right there?
Didn't they just start building it probably recently too?
Am I actually gonna get a dino game?
No way.
Wait, what are you doing?
Wait, we're the gambit player.
I can't be a gambit.
What can I guess?
Wait, am I actually gonna get a dino game?
No way.
What can I guess?
Wait, am I actually going to get a dino game? No way.
Y'all are so chocolate.
It's a partial proprietary engine for the game and you have an update for the game, meaning
custom game loads and maths can be made in game.
It's been made in-house and you have to remember Rokic League is owned by Epic Games, the creators
of Unreal Engine as a whole so it should be heavily optimized, but currently RL is on
Oh! It's on Unlunge in 3? Really? That's crazy, actually. Uh-oh, guys, we have Luna
Ultron, Triple DPS Solo Dino. We might be dead. Guys, it might be over.
30 seconds before you attack. Get ready.
I hear that your friend's main girl makes them epic nicks to hate.
We might be cooked.
Think that I could make it a turn.
But all the cheers got banned, right? So at least I shouldn't be playing against any cheers today.
The battle starts in five. Four. Three. Two. One.
Right
Oh
I'm dead
When my Luna's crazy
I'm just a big fat dino. I can't I can't see a stop getting shot
Oh, I didn't get him, but I didn't.
Oh
of
health
of
guys low. I don't know how to ammo. I'm still holding though. Wait, why do I have to look
I can't just press it
of
I'm just getting headshot costly cuz there's no other damage reduction other than me
You need to hit the flank here.
I'm just dead again.
I
Go again
Nice rest time
the
final as a
Keep up
Dude, I, I just, just gonna walk that and fall over.
But you know what, I'm still, I'm still holding my own, hello?
1v5?
Excuse you?
Average VP play?
Oh!
These ults are interesting.
Dude, her ults are so late every time, like, I don't know what to do, man, I do everything
I can on the solo dino, man, I'm trying, but at least I get to play the dino, so you know
one so relinings
he just didn't touch he's invisible okay
nice job buddy
oh it's kind of cold in here
it's my AC up
wait it's not even turned out what the hell just fucking cold I'm gonna turn my
I'm gonna close my door
What the fuck what happened to my game oh I'm just in the fog
walk.
On triple support?
Lovely.
Struggling in 12 months
I
Got him. Yeah, I don't know how we're making it work when we're making it work
coming
I know gober
I can't grab the pack.
Wait.
The hell long they had a magic is 1-6.
How long has that guy been there?
Well, we have Nils.
Oh, we did have Ulta, just didn't use it.
Feels good.
Oh, 1v6.
All right, fed.
You know what, I've got eye-witness.
You know what I've got I wouldn't ease
Nice.
Oh!
I'm gonna low, I'm gonna low.
I grabbed her, but...
No.
I'm gonna low, I'm gonna low.
I grabbed her but no
That went so badly I wanted to jump to the other side of the portal
Hoping that he would be there and I could go crazy with my ult
Feels bad
I'm not here, you're right.
Well, good. I think Rogue's going gamuts and play. That's been my way.
Wait, what'd I do?
Hey, thank you for the love of the month.
Appreciate it, dude.
Oh, the fact that if you use your Prime sub every month, which is free with your Amazon
Prime if you already have it, you can sub your favorite shimmer for free with zero ads.
It's spilling.
Madness in the prime, walling in the prime, filing reading in the five months, launch
It's in months all you enjoying your ad for reviewing now
I'm gonna come in from the side I'm gonna come in from the side
Dino time oh god
My points
Swirling front of me with no giftin
What happened?
They didn't see the flying dino coming in
No one ever suspects the flying dot, you know.
Alright, we're in.
Yo, thanks for the super chat, by the way, appreciate it.
Get back in my first place and the team has our team's Ultron's one of the
restrained portal at our spawn door off the map.
Wait, what?
It's hilarious actually.
Yo, Rejected Ball with the Five Gifted!
WB, I appreciate a big Five Gifted.
Hello, what's up, how are you?
Hmm.
Uh, what's she thinking about him?
We're gonna have her dead, I know.
Surely I'll get an online.
Why is my teammate's name?
I love bald men.
I'm gonna finish this match
Joy in the prime
Hmm
Three bin mag is the last one. Do you uh do you want a mag bin at the end?
Yeah we have an Iron Man.
I feel like we should have been a mag for our Iron Man here, but where do I know?
It's got no time.
They have to have a dino if they've been Emma
Go drinking crime I should feel good when I tell this kind of played
thing
Anything dino and a thing that our dino mag is pretty decent
So they're gonna have a dino you uh, do you play think
No, not really to be honest. I play like mag on a string
Unfortunately, well, you'll be fine
Just trying to eat
Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur!
Off to a good start.
Off to a good start today.
They have a kitty cat.
Hulk.
Got one in my sights
I'm slow already
There's a VP on mine, I guess
I'm on everyone
I'm Mag'in.
So, he's gonna be behind us on your record?
Dude, Mag is just legitimately food for me.
He's back here on me.
I can't believe they banned Emma and I don't have a dyno.
Like, what are these guys doing?
Is that a Mag?
Probably not.
I fucking hate this picture.
There we go.
Nice.
Hello.
There we go. Nice.
Oh, they went spider-ditty.
I might need to swap.
What is their- Oh, they have one healer.
I got him!
Yummy.
Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum.
No, rush it guys, you have one healer.
I love the classic 4 DPS solo tank Hulk
See you had a prime this whole time you could have been subbing your favorite shimmer for free
getting out of free viewing you didn't even know it
I
Have them
Okay
Why me again? Oh, no, that's personal now
What did he do to you man?
He exiled me three times.
Ah, fair enough then.
Oh my god, it was a bait.
What the fuck's going on up here?
I'm gonna eat that ass.
They're actually legitimately running four dive DPS, a Hulk, and one support, ah.
This is wild.
I'm so glad I got the dinosaur.
They're just here for the ride.
Nah, even if they go rock it would be fine.
I eat them.
Hmm
Hey
I mean get me CC man
Okay, I have ult. It's dino time.
Okay, they have a second support now.
Or no, they just went laning in my lane.
Listen, I thought they had...
I thought they still had white fox, not luna.
I would back up. I'm WKM. You can't stop me.
I
Bitch ass
I'm gonna get this Luna.
There's one.
There's one.
The dyno is not afraid
One
Healing up
Top of that
Yeah, try to knock them down, but it didn't work.
I'm coming for you.
Come here, bitch! We're going!
Where are you going?
Come back here.
Great. I'm okay.
You're coming in.
Nice.
That is gonna be all she wrote.
Nice job, Gigi.
He's coming top left.
No, that would be f-
No.
Gigi.
He is.
Yeah, like three people in there seem I want to avoid
That's something that guy
I think this guy was just filling, he was kind of horrible at filling.
This guy was also playing Hulk.
Sorry guys, I'm not in Barcel.
I think you know what rattles the past few months hasn't given some white fox
Well today bad day to ask me bad day to ask me to be honest with you bad day
Unfortunately, there's some some major issues that had to be talked about today with the game
But I mean overall there's a lot of good but there's a lot of bad unfortunately
Only three voice losses while it makes sense
Because the more you'd have the longer queues are gonna be
especially at like high, high, high rank, you know, like there's theoretical situations
at like top 500 where depending on who's on like how many people are on and they're currently
queuing, how the way they like avoids are working, like you might have to wait like
10 plus minutes, 20 plus minutes, 30 plus minutes for a game.
There's always something with the new worst thing in Rivals.
I actually talked about that as well.
That was something I touched on where I said that
I think that people are diluting when you actually need
to talk about things that are bad in Rivals
because they say everything sucks,
everything's horrible, balance is so bad,
new character sucks, everything is fucking
the worst thing since sliced bread,
everything's a worst fucking, everything's a war crime, right?
And so like a day like today,
where there's actually things we kinda have to address
that are big elephants in the room,
it's almost been diluted where everyone's like,
There's always a problem. It's like, no, no, these are huge problems.
Like, these ones need to be addressed, but all these other ones are kind of like muddying the waters, you know?
I'm gonna hit the game ban first.
Nah, you have me, bitch.
Also, you tried to snitch? I'll remember that.
Damn it.
They banned my dino.
Are you playing dino?
No, we banned.
Why?
They scared.
Losers.
Okay.
Okay. Okay. Oh, we didn't beat anybody. Oh, I avoided this one last game, right? Good
I'm scared.
One, go!
Yo listen man, we can play 4 DPS if we want.
Care to...
The moon gives you strength.
30 seconds before you attack. Get ready.
You are actually here, right? Or am I imagining this?
No.
Is he a unicorn or an apple?
No.
All right, all righty
Listen man, I'm not afraid I will lock it. I'm gonna lock it alongside everyone else too
I'm sorry did I just see they have a widow who walked it down main and we now have a
window because okay you know what maybe we're gonna be fine
who needs a meta for 4 DPS wait because they have 3 DPS in a window
This is so stupid. Oh, the fucking state of this game is disgusting
The end is dying
I can't keep getting away with this while we're getting away with it and they're getting
away with it.
Man
This game sucks dude
It's unbelievable that guy CPL. I think he did
Just leave him there, honestly.
Two people row chasing, alright.
Doesn't walk up to save the venom.
That's why we voted for the 4S.
I did.
I voted 4S.
Um, I think I voted, did I believe the Young's guy or the Shock's guy?
I think the Shock's guy was the Hulk player.
I think I voted that guy.
These genuinely might be some of the worst gamers I've ever seen in my entire fucking career.
That guy's next in YHP.
I'm dead probably.
JK, my sport's kinda goaded.
Why is she behind the DC?
Thanks.
I'm 20 and oh my hell is 18 and oh we're playing 40 ps2 supports
And we're running. This is unbelievable.
Wait, this guy's name is Peter Parker.
I think y'all surrender on principle here. No doubt.
Well, this better be quick play considering we're now on defense, that should answer you
that it's not he's actually the real spider the real Peter Parker it's not
Quick play can you only play on attack or defensive quick way you don't do both
Oh, sometimes it doesn't matter what comp you run, sometimes your team is just fucking
buttcheeks.
And maybe not even your team, like their whole team.
Their entire team is the collection of buttcheeks.
All of the buttcheeks on the planet have gathered in one Marvel Rivals game.
This is unbelievable.
I'm very glad I avoided a couple of them last game.
Remember I told you guys I was like, I think I want to avoid this entire lobby, but I
I can only pick three
disappear
too far the fact they haven't given up it is kind of wild actually
I am ready to put on a show!
Oh, we're dead.
I didn't have an arm to stop him
I feel like we just got to stick with it now, you know what I mean, like out of principle.
stop them
hold hold hold
come on, disappear
I'm just gonna try to build a moral for the next fight, even if I die.
I didn't even die.
Holy shit.
I might be on goat watch.
There's no way we just won this. This is unbelievable.
What killers there's behind us?
GG's.
40 PS2 supports beats fucking triple quadruple tank.
Tripled.
This game is, this is fucked.
Oh my god.
30,000 damage on the Moon Knight.
I'm very glad I avoided what I did, because I think I made some very, very smart calls.
Good Lord.
I mean, that was fun though.
I mean, do you think they had any fun?
That was an actual Spider-Man?
Yeah, I mean, who's Peter Barker?
Of course it was actually Spider-Man.
Do I have Lord Penny? No, I don't really play Penny.
Gratsphots for ruining his life, who?
Peter Parker's, you expose him.
Whoops.
My bad.
My bad.
By the way, I gotta figure out what we're gonna do after Rival Segment.
I haven't decided yet.
I was either thinking about doing some Reacts, like you guys submit some videos and whatnot,
formerly named Hot Topics or some gaming, but I don't know what I wanna do.
I don't really want to do champions today.
Hey, it's f**k tiktok, but it did remind me you were alive, so I didn't lose my streak.
That's why I streamed on tiktok, right there.
I gotta go pee.
I'll be back in two minutes, alright?
Oh! Cover my dino! Cover the dino!
Wait- AHHHHHH! Just- Oh my god! I just fucking slammed my knee against my desk.
Oh my god!
AHHHHH!
AHHHHH!
AHHHHH! You hurt- Oh my god, dude. Why the fuck did I think this desk was a good idea?
Oh...
Dude, this desk is not a normal desk.
This thing is fucking solid.
You wanna hear what it sounds like?
This is what I just bagged my knee against.
Ow!
Sounds like metal.
It is metal!
Ow!
Sounds like metal. It is metal. It's very medley.
How close are you to Lord Dino? Not even close, cause he's banned every fucking game!
Do you think that's the Peter Parker again?
I didn't say that in voice chat, he just said it is.
Alright, I see you.
I see you.
I see.
30 seconds before you attack. Get ready!
It's funny, isn't it?
It's not just you. I mean, how are you?
Whoa, this is pretty crazy.
The battle starts in 5.
One, three, two, one!
Is that Black Widow back there again?
No, it isn't.
He's already got all, oh my god.
I'm so dead.
I'm not gonna play, uh, that end of that.
You know what, me it's time for my moon night.
It's time for my moon night.
I'm on my death home.
Get out of my way!
Move!
I'm waiting!
Keep going!
No!
Please don't go down this easy!
I'll kill you!
Can't you miss my shield?
He was there!
Don't turn back now!
Like it goes in!
That's not good.
Like I said, I'll do it myself
I'm dead let him right to me
I could probably go back though it's probably safe too
I have all
That's tough
I
What did I do
I'm so dead I don't know man I was gonna swap it's kind of working I feel like nobody looks
to the side in this rank. Anti-jerk thing in some months.
Oh, I was a little bit, uh, not as far as it should have been
That didn't be a little bit deeper in
of
Oh, I hit the shield.
No home dead
Do I adult again, but doesn't matter
matter. I built like a 30 second alt my bad.
Flats if you see the post about the announcement about the Chidabans and Stroll way down you'll
see that only three of the profiles have been hardware I know they're already red ale
I already went through it all
Retro are you here are you in the shadows
The battle starts in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!
of
I'm so dead
Let me see my best Scarlet Witch.
Hello?
Hello?
I'm so dead I'm alive I don't know how I'm alive I'm alive
I'll kill him
I'm dead
Batman won
Honestly if he goes for me every time that's kind of good
He's been kind of fucking my supports
I'm down
Right now my wife's in the room going aloo and flash his voice
Wait what?
What do you mean?
I ain't no way bro is actually just not even playing the game waiting for me to come back
so he can try to get spot camp kills.
That is next level farm.
Nice one.
If I had a single shot on that guy, he would have died.
I'm so dead.
I can't get away with my off-hank was much.
Now that they know it's me, they constantly are going to look for me.
Yeah, I'm an ironic streamer nerf. They weren't doing it before
That hit me, okay
My question, no, no, it's now it's not to actually lock in not to actually lock in
Cuz they're gonna they're gonna hard lock in now
The vision do you notice most of the fights in the beginning the first half before they recognize I literally sat on the flank
It just didn't even it didn't even acknowledge anybody who's actually hilarious, but now they all know it's me
They're gonna come in flying
Or guys just exploded sorry I couldn't be here to save you
of
the show after the
Don't mess with the amazing Spider-Man!
You know what to do, Spider-Man?
Whoa!
We're still a chance to stop them!
A shield?
Damn.
Spider-Man!
Now's the onsite!
It's gonna make it?
It's gonna make it!
Didn't it cancel?
Why is the voice line still going?
We all dead.
We're all dead.
We're all dead.
I already went over all this.
I already I already talked about all of it. I've already gone through it all. Hold on, let me ask Retro.
I didn't do great either. What are you talking about? I was like 20 and two at the start of the game.
what do you mean my bad my bad my bad at some point they realized oh shit it's
fine so what we gotta we gotta stop him and we're running so we'll take penny my
bad I guess. Change your ban. I don't do my banner. After a few minutes, after a minute
It shows up
Cool gambit
That's actually a good process, you're just kidding.
Okay, one more.
Did he just find me?
You bitch.
The right heroes could make all the difference.
Every god damn game the god damn dino is fucking banned.
The hand of heaven is here.
Show some respect.
regard damn game the damn dino is banned
Really a team guy. I've got more than enough voices in my head.
Funny. I heard you were an Avenger.
Sorry I tried last game. No, you're good.
Honestly, you shouldn't have had the solo tank ping.
I kind of went Moon Knight because our team was struggling with it, and I just literally insta-killed him.
And then they were not looking for me on the flank ever, so I feel like someone should have swapped to join you, but...
Two. One.
Maybe I should have went back, but I was kind of getting big value at the time.
I
Think you're going bitch ass
Hello, hello
CC of doom into spare what the fuck
No, get away from my, get away from my backline buddy.
I'm so dead.
Oh, we're playing Rocket Jet.
Oh, I actually don't need to save them.
Wait, actually, don't be fine, don't live.
Sup, buddy? I'm back.
Tenacity's a fucking myth on Angela.
I can't even I can't even ground myself dude. I've gotten my ground cancelled twice
Didn't that hit?
He didn't.
Bro, I'm so over this game, man.
I'm actually so over it.
I just hit the side of the railing down there, so it didn't count.
Like, what?
Like, what the fuck is that?
It landed sideways?
Yeah, but tell me how that's my fault that it landed here.
On the side of this! You tell me!
Ah, it's unbelievable.
They see me up here, they just...
Oh.
I'm sorry hello
I
Really that's young's faults you see that
That's unbelievable
No Hoosamen, wait it!
30 seconds before you attack. Get ready!
So official.
Ramen made in the six months?
Hope you're having a good time.
What's your favorite game of all time?
That's a hard question to answer.
Actually, you know what? Uh, I forgot.
Nearly tierless today, actually.
I think our time's passed. I think I got it.
Where you think you're going?
Yeah. Where you think you're going? You coming at my backline? I swear to god, I'll fuck you up.
Get up. I'm telling you, get...
I told you, get away from my backline!
He just fucked himself off the map. That's crazy. I told you once I'm gonna tell you again get off my back line you bitch
Don't make me tell you again
That's the same guy I avoided.
That's the guy from earlier.
Bro that avoid earlier is paying off in spades, holy.
GGGs.
Dude, seven finals on the lowest amount of damage on my team, W.
I can't believe that guy fucked himself off the map.
That was crazy.
Did you guys see that?
That was awesome.
Yeah, a lot of villain characters would be cool to add.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Yeah, I'll do tierless today.
It's not a bad idea.
I'll show you my serum.
Do you have a retro? You'll find it me.
Do I have my... big pin?
I do have it.
Okay.
All right, lock in.
Oh, they can fight over Mag while I play the Dino.
Anything two months?
Not fully.
I'm not gonna finish from this match
Uh oh.
Uh oh.
Hey, this is lots of honor.
Soundboard.
You know, big dog, please open my door, please.
Oh, shit, we're gonna be...
Wait, wait, wait, where are we being? Fuck.
Uhhh, Star Lord I guess? Maybe? Hello? I don't know, I'll call it.
I'm sorry.
YOU BITCH!
NO!
These god damn bastards!
I could fastball if you guys want.
I'll then play it. Yeah, yeah, I'll play it at night.
Yeah.
Hi, York.
Anything when the Birdman seagull is?
Uh, he's been on a break for the last year, he was feeling really burnt out.
Actually, I think, and I'm not going to speak for the guy, but, um, he did tell me a date
where he was like, anything beyond this date, I'd probably just come back, because like,
that's just way too long to be gone.
And I don't think we're too far from that date.
in my lobby class, but if you want to throw, this is the music.
See, he says that now, but then what if I throw
his game by accident?
Come on, Blooming.
This is pretty bad, you only watch one video each time.
So you say that now, but if I throw this game by accident,
it's gonna be like, oh, I hate that guy.
I wouldn't care.
I wouldn't care.
if you're in my team or you're throwing in my team I would not care if that's actually
some time.
How much though dude?
W Glaze.
I'm bleeding your mid ice.
Not someone does.
I don't know what to do with it.
I didn't get him, that's not a good-
I'm sorry, Ben just touched me, he just touched me.
triple that's why
Oh, I couldn't save him.
I'm sorry.
Feels bad.
I think I need to try and assassinate their backline, maybe it's like my best play here.
They just are so tanky in front
One under
There's Bogr in here. Bogr, did I see you? Hello?
Hello, Bogr.
We're dead.
Wait, I don't know how we're alive, but huge.
We're mags crazy.
This is real firepower!
I'm dead again.
Hold your thoughts, I'm sorry.
I'm gonna die!
Nevermind, I got you.
Don't go, don't go through!
Nevermind, I got you.
Yeah, you need help.
I got the Invis, wrong way to get to one.
Worth, I think.
Did you see the news, Boker?
Am I wrong for being a little skeptical?
I feel like we've seen them say the same thing already.
Have you ever uploaded a new video with them shooting again? Oh, lovely.
I want to be back
get on the cross, get on the cross, get on the cross
get on the cross, get on the cross, get on the cross
I'm to be back
I want to go on the

Oh, dark magic.
How are you back?
I'm going blind on this lane.
I'm standing.
I love when the wolf is on my team.
real flat flats what is your take I'm still pretty strong but there's just
so many other things to ban yeah I'm not gonna lie my man crazy I feel like
yes cool but I feel like he's very strong right now ever since April got
nukes no insert situation yeah he's really strong I mean honestly he was
before the changes. Just depends on when.
Well, I saw some DPS experience going.
Well, I won a game earlier on 4 DPS 2 support versus
Triple Tank 1, 2.
So, I'm convinced the game's not real anymore.
Dude, I lost you some bad DPS, you oughta fucking
I'm not going, I'm not going, I'm not going.
Sing blinded.
Sing ammo blinded.
Ah, totally earned that by the way.
You did earn that.
Thank you so much.
It took so much skill.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
Interesting.
How much do I take?
They're trying to see the bell.
They're trying to see the bell
They're going through the triple hill bailout
Oh my god.
Yo, I'm not gonna lie, what you can do to that rocket?
That was by leasing.
And they're very bad.
Nice.
It's nice for playing.
Don't pull.
That was evil, I saw that.
GGs, GGs.
Yo, watch that. Watch this fucking amazing bro.
GGs, guys.
Yeah, GGs, GGs, watch that.
Damn.
Dude, Rare Portage actually a really good game.
A fun game.
That was evil. Our mag was actually kind of a go.
You went crazy
I gotta go pee we're right back. Okay, they make super Charlie's inside. I know I
Oh, all right, let's just play till we lose play till we lose sound good
Oh Gigi's in
That's okay, our team was kind of our team was kind of locked in I
I think after the name or group combo didn't work that was my game was sealed
Also, I need to fix my alerts. I don't know why
Are you super chat I saw early didn't pop up weird still didn't pop up
I don't know why it didn't work.
Oh, Dino.
Fatherland 3 months.
No, no champions today.
Cool, I'm not gonna finish for this match.
You know who would say Ravals is more difficult than Overwatch?
It's not supposed to be a competition, but that's delusional.
Of course, even if that's been out for 10 years, it's gonna be harder than a game that's been out for a year and a half.
Does he matter if it's Marvel or Overwatch?
Which is kind of idiotic.
Hmm, Gem, Gambito?
Nooooooo, the Dino.
Yeah, I swear people would just knock it at the dyno.
That's why everyone bans it because they don't know how to get on their team that plays it.
I swear.
Have you ever played against a cheater in this game?
I don't think so.
You know what's funny?
You probably have at some point in any of the games you've played.
You just never recognized it.
The right heroes could make all the difference.
I tear through the cloudless night just like the moon night.
The moon.
Diaban every game unfortunately.
I just hit him with a right click dead on and nothing happened. Did you guys see that?
We have low key man, Moon Knight. That's gonna be a little bit spooky
Oh, that was a nice combo.
This is a nice last game, it might be.
Oh, we would be dead.
The more than marry you touch them
Let me rest
I am ready to put on a show.
damn, died through the ult, it took so long
that sucks
I
I'm dead.
If we're getting walked down and dying, we have ults and we're not popping them.
Oh man.
Feels bad.
That's actually such a feels bad.
this one
well
Hey, checkpoint!
Now, I might have to try and stop them!
Feel better! Fight back!
Better sound that, Beagle!
I'll give them a shoot!
Why is there two up there? Hello?
Those two must be hard calming together because they've actually done that a few times
Okay
or on triple so someone's got to deal with the moon knight or the star lord so
it's gotta be me this is gonna be a disaster
now that we've any DPS players on our team unfortunately
yeah okay buddy you're not off you'd make it a little less obvious
of
the best over there but
of
help friends I want our soul
yeah
double kill only 60 second left
yeah
yeah
of
That they focused on me a little too hard there at the end, I'm not having that kind
and then we're done with the third and final attack.
OK.
Time to switch things up, including which side you're on.
You'll need a top notch team to win this one.
No one escapes Hell.
This one, yeah
Okay
Yeah, I feel like KFC fell off a cliff
Well.
13.
of
It's okay. Admit it. Give me a hit.
Find that soul.
The vehicle reached the checkpoint. See whether or not you're...
not a good sign for when he ults in a sec
uh, you gotta get a little pretty far
I got you back. Now we'll see them.
Don't let me set you to good.
Fine, not so bad.
So much power almost there
I'm taking damage
Here is why your powers are not against the world
Me, too.
Me, too.
Me, too.
You got a really bad idea or a really good idea? I think it's bad right now.
Bye, D.I.E.L.D.
We're dead.
I don't think we'll start shit talking our fucking supports, even though we have three
minutes to attack, we held them one third, like we're still so fine.
They asked him to play triple in the beginning because like they were struggling.
He said, no, that's boring.
It's like, do they, you can't, like it's like illegal to shit talk after that.
How's that helpful?
Clearly.
I don't care for every reason
I'm just like, oh, it sounds so miserable.
And I flew right in.
Trying to get back to the team.
I
Guess I should just walk back
Hmm
I have a great taste of hell.
Hit two, hit him six times.
We're back down to 30 seconds.
It's not the end. I'll be back.
I know it's better for me.
I suck.
Hit him six times.
I have 10 seconds.
against the world
Judge juries and execution final score one two
That's tough.
True, we're in play till we lose.
All right, is it time?
I think it's time.
I gotta go P first.
Alright, let me go bathroom real quick and then we'll get started.
I think it's time.
I got the Shadow Band notification on TikTok.
I'm gonna restart you guys.
Come and watch your YouTube though,
realistically otherwise you just get ignored.
Okay.
All right, chat's time.
Snorlax Stumper.
Chat's time.
We got to rearrange the characters. Everybody knows tank goes first, support goes last.
That'd be the rules around here. It's always in the rules. The rules are the rules.
Okay, let's rearrange that. It's down here, down here, down here.
Dude, we're getting a lot of characters now, huh?
Peer down here, up here, up here, up here, down here, up here, down here, I think that's
everybody.
Does it look right?
Does it look right?
Gambit?
Where's Gambit?
I'll game, but I missed them. Okay, cool everything else look right
You can get troll list to fuck with the Redditors the Redditors already getting fucked hard enough by life man
I don't want to make it any worse on them
All right, I think that looks good
Alright, cool.
Chat, it is time.
Chat, it's time.
This season 8 Marble Rivals tier list.
Guys, as always, take these with a grain of salt.
I actually took 7.5 off, 1 because I wasn't playing the game that much, and 2 just to
improve the point that a meta still always will form.
Tier lists don't form those.
People will still figure out what's strong
and what's not strong.
If someone doesn't make a tier list,
someone else will make one.
And also, people just play the video game and go,
hmm, that's kind of strong.
I'm gonna play it.
People aren't stupid.
So there you go.
We're gonna lock in and we're gonna make this.
First things first, Venom.
So Venom benefited a lot from the support changes,
The support all charge. Sorry. It's not sport are changes the old nerfs across the board
But support specifically and I think he's pretty good. However, I actually don't think he's like
That good
Dive is strong
There's so another dive thing. I think is much better
But I don't think he's like bad. He just like he's like, okay
You know me like you can pick him on a lot of maps with some like dive comps
You typically don't want double dive tank.
Double dive tank is actually, at least in my opinion,
in rank, kind of bad, because your back line just explodes.
They just don't know how to play the game
unless there's some stationary tank with them,
or some baseline, we stand there and protect you type tank.
So I think this is pretty fair.
I think this is much better,
but I don't think he's bad at all.
Groot, okay, there's so many characters now.
I'm like half debating making a best in role category
because I know a lot of people do that now
instead of a, you know,
having everything in S because unfortunately,
we've hit the point best in roll, best in roll,
Role best in role
BIR
So what I'm going to do is BIS, WIS, best in slot
Why do they call it slot? It's a role
Best in role, I'm not saying slot, why would you guys say slot?
That doesn't make sense, I'm doing my own way
Best in role, it's an MMO term, well guess what
We ain't playing an MMO.
We ain't playing an MMO. We're playing best in role.
I, it's three roles. Tank, support, DPS.
Otherwise, it was known as Vanguard, Damage, or no, sorry, Vanguard, Dueless.
I forgot what this four one's called.
Vanguard, Dueless, Stragess. Stragess.
Okay, the reason why I made this this role above best in role is because I think Groot is arguably
still one of the best tanks in the game. One of the best to play. Dominates on a lot of maps,
especially like the tree walking map, the group, the group map, I guess, legitimately. And he's
always pretty strong. And he actually does really well against a lot of the frontline tanks, your
your thing, your mag, your pennies, your M-Muzz even a little bit, and he's just always pretty
strong.
If you had to pick one tank these days to get really good at, you probably could just
get really good at Groot and probably pick him every single game and be okay.
Like, there would be very few games where, if he's not banned, you wouldn't be screwed.
You get what I'm saying?
You could play Groot almost anywhere.
Almost anywhere.
In most maps he's really strong and the ones he's not strong on, he's still okay.
So next up, Tank Pool.
So Tank Pool kind of got taken out back and shot 16 times in the head.
I haven't watched any Ignite.
I don't know if they're playing him in Ignite.
I played like one or two ranked games and he felt kind of butt cheeks.
Like I just, there's like no reason to play him.
But that said though, I don't think he's like the worst character in the game, you know,
but he just doesn't have like a spot anymore.
know they just really they really gutted him you know like the things that he was
really good at was he had good high damage and his gun old can isolate a
single target so they they nerfed his gun old pretty hard and they nerfed his
damage pretty hard and then they also made his fire rate slower so now he
shoots a lot slower does a lot less damage and his ult's not as good so he
kind of just you know he was never like a support the team type of tank he was
always more of like a off-tank cosplay where he just did like a lot of damage, you know.
So RIP tank pool, genuinely a little sad on how much they kind of nerfed him.
If I didn't actually, I might even put him in D tier, TBH, but we'll see.
I think this is fair for now, but I don't think he's unplayable.
Selfish tank, but I have no problem with there being selfish tanks because most players are
selfish as fuck.
And if you're a tank player, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
If you're a support player, you probably know what I'm talking about, too.
If you want to selfish as fuck, I just played a game or I literally
just played a game where we played 40 PS2 support.
We won.
I don't know how the fuck we won, but like, nobody wants to swap.
Everyone just wants to play whatever.
So like you could play a tank and be pretty self-sufficient.
You know what I mean?
Uh, do I maintain the agenda for Thor?
Uh, you don't want, I'm actually going to give you a little bit of agenda.
I actually think he's kind of falling off a little bit.
I don't think he's bad.
But there was like a season or two where he was like genuinely maybe the second best tank in ranked
But he's he's like all of a sudden I feel like not that great
I don't know. I feel like he grew he struggles a little bit
He's he's like kidnap is still okay, but like who you kidnap him, you know mag I guess but like
You know someone typed did you quit overwatch?
Brother, I literally am not joking. I think I streamed 35 hours of overwatch in the last
three days and this guy just asked me, did I quit overwatch? Holy shit, I'm going to
fucking fall off a cliff. I'm going to hit every single rock on the way down.
Also, by the way, that's if you're wondering why that's why I'm a little tired today. I
think I streamed like 15 or 15 hours yesterday, did an eight hours day before that did 12
or 14 hours a day before that and then another eight hours. Yeah, just been a long week.
Anyways, um, yeah, I think Thor is actually not bad.
I think he's not bad.
I think he's like that.
I'm no, we're like, he has a place where he can be okay in ranked, but yeah.
I don't know.
Honestly, if you, I feel like he just doesn't feel that strong to me this season.
Okay.
So this one I need you to lock in for rogue.
So rogue is one of two places.
Rogue is either here or
Rogue is here
And it's completely dependent on whether or not Gambit is banned or unbanned if Gambit is in play
Honestly, one of the best tanks in the game
If gambit is banned, which he is 97% of the time
here
Which makes me a little
Sad because can I actually kind of kind of kind of meant about that for half a second
Rivals, I feel like, kind of fell off in the team, team of us department.
The coolest team of us in the game are all banned perma.
The mag swords perma, the rogue team up perma.
Both of them, you know, like there's mostly other team ups aren't really that powerful anymore other than like wolf kidnapped with like Hulk is still pretty decent.
If you actually have a Hulk meta.
Um, what the Fox charm with Luna is like decently strong, but like it's not fun.
Like it's like a tiny charm.
You know what I mean?
Like it, it, it, it fucking sends out like a little beam.
It goes, what do you mean?
And that's like a half second stunts.
Like, is it strong?
Like, yeah, but like it's not, it's kind of boring, you know, um, Punisher,
Dino, perma band.
I don't want to spoiler it, but you guys probably know Dino perma band.
Um, what else?
Strange.
Invis is kind of good.
But strange in this is like not really cool
Like tell me the difference between strange normally and strange within this. I'll tell you the difference
I think you you pull them in a little bit. I don't know if you do more damage, too
I think you might do slightly more damage, but you just pull them in
Blade Moon Knight, you know play blade
You know play blade
You know, it's not cool all the cool ones are gone. They're all shit
You know what I mean pain bros is so fun. Yeah, well pain bros of my EO doesn't totally work. I'll be real with you
And thing Hulk is not very strong. He's where I'm I'm playing
And even then it's just like
Hulk with or it's just thing with green hands
To get I'm saying it's just thing with green hands. It's not any different. It's just literally green hands thing
So makes me a little sad regardless though rogue could be actually asked here, but I'm gonna say because the way of the team up
She's not that good, which means he's sad because eventually someday they're probably gonna remove the gambit rogue team up
And then like what happens to rogue, you know
That thing I actually think thing is actually really good this season. I think thing is slept on I
Think thing is good into dino thing is good into dive
They gave him a few new tools with like extra damage and he does damage to HP targets like like if you're playing like dino thing
into
Like Magdino or sorry Magdino you actually win that like most of the time like you farm them so hard
What else is he good into?
Like at the dive characters like if cap's getting played he's pretty decent
Bp basically just make him not only can't play the video game
There's a lot of good opportunities to play thing. Unfortunately. You can't play solo thing. You play solo thing
You're just kind of like explode
Rogue, yeah, I mean bro has a lot of tools to get away though. So but yeah, I actually like thing want this season
All right, this one's probably a little spicy. I actually think Penny is pretty decent
And one thing and one thing only
If the dino is a band if the dino is unbanned Penny is actually fucking menace like
She's actually a fucking menace. Have you have you have not encountered the penny dino players?
I'm just gonna be real with you guys have no idea that just spare you could be bumping into it is die a fucking
Bollackle penny dino can actually one-shot every single character in the game
Legitimately every single character in the game. You can't stop it. It's an unstoppable combo
All the dino has to do is proc his bleed grab you turn you into the mines and you explode. That's it. It's just GG. Good night
It's actually just lights out
Unfortunately, no the dinos perma band so with the dino being perma band pennies not that good although however
Unlike certain apps pennies still like kind of decent like penny would be here without the dino
I think
But with the dino team up I act like not team up the dino in play
I think she's actually pretty decent and I think there's more
Possibilities of making
Dino penny work then getting rogue gambit team up like rogue is a perm to gambit's a
Permaband is an impermanence for so fucking long now knows at least new right? There's a chance maybe surely
Mag
So this depends. I think Mag gets farmed by the Dino. If the Dino is unbanned, Mag is actually pretty bad.
Like really kind of bad. But, but, but, a lot of times not. That said though, I do think Mag is still strong obviously, but not as strong.
That's what team up. You're never getting the gambit team up. Just like it just pretend you'll never see the gambit team up with
Mac just it's just never gonna happen, you know
And I wouldn't even say that the mag gambit team ups really makes him that much better. He's just more fun
you know
Also cloak and dagger fell off a fucking a fucking cliff and literally hit every rock on the way down
They nerfed her old charge generation and or old charge time and that was it
That character's fucking gone. So like you don't even do mag that much
You know
All right the dyno, I'm really sad about the dyno if I'm honest with you
the dyno is probably my favorite character they've added since like season 2 Emma and
You know, I don't get to play him. He's just permanent every game. He's genuinely just from a band every single game
And it's sad because even though he is definitely strong. I don't think he's unbeatable
I think triple DPS solo tank beats him like solo tank like mag or something
I know I said that mag gets eaten by the dino, but however you starve him
Like you basically have to starve the dino and make sure he can't use your tanks to stay alive
Like if you if you your tanks are there and front-lining him
He will live forever if he doesn't have anything to eat then he dies, you know
So I think there's ways to beat him
But he's a permit ban people don't want to play against him and people don't like have like you look like I think like
Like if you have dino v dino in the game, I think there's a lot of like cool interactions
you could have.
I give you both have Punisher like Punisher fucking fries and Phoenix fries him.
But Phoenix is also Burban, I guess, to be fair.
But it does make me really sad because I think the dino is probably the most fun I've had
with rivals in a very long time and I literally just don't get to play them.
So then I get to play the same tanks I've been playing since season two.
You know, it's every game, every game, every game, every game.
I think that that wears on you as a player,
like especially as a tank player, like, like I can speak from,
from personal experience, like there's just nothing new and interesting to,
to get to play. Do you get what I'm saying? So is what it is.
Uh, Emma. So Emma's a little weird where
I feel like on paper Emma's here,
But in my games, if I'm honest with you, I don't think she is.
I think she's actually a little overrated.
She's back.
She's 100% back.
But it's because of so much power creep that's happened over time?
I don't think she's like a pick everywhere.
I think I could say confident group, you could work almost anywhere.
Emma?
I don't know about that.
Don't know like if you're playing against dives
She doesn't have any way to like if you're their whole team plays dives like well
She doesn't have anything to build charge up off of you still have your shift, right?
Your shift is still there. It's still in play
But you only get one e you get one grab if you miss it's it's lights out, you know, then you wasted the entire thing so
She's good against like thing mag
Groot even a little bit although even actually I actually don't mind the group match up in them. I'm not that afraid of it
I think probably an organized play should be really strong, but I think in ranked, she's okay.
What is BAR best in role?
Next up is Cap. So I think Cap is actually really strong, especially if you have DPS players on your team that are playing hard dive.
The difference is though in ranked, you're probably not always going to be able to make him work.
I think, like, if you don't have the DPS follow-up on, on, like, Dive DPS, you are not going to do everything you need to do to get those kills.
However, though, when you do have the DPS, the Dive DPS that follow-up with you, you will run the lobby.
And so, in organized play, like, pro-play, I bet he's probably one of the most picked, if not the most banned.
That would be my guess right now.
But in ladder, it's a little different.
Later, you don't have enough, uh, what's the word?
You don't have enough, like, uh, coordination, like
people just aren't always there.
Like they're not on the same page, uh, but he's definitely strong.
Definitely very good.
Strange.
Um, strange is a little tough because also by the way, I'm just
going to, just for, for, for visualization, I'm going to, I'm
going to bump Penny down here.
Um, because like, I don't, we don't have the die now.
So like, I think she's like the best of these three, but yeah, just for visualization.
Strange gets annihilated by the dinosaur, annihilated.
But he's also back to just TP duty, you know, like, I feel like if you have a stranger on your team,
your chances of winning actually go down because you don't have someone who can TP back.
You know, it's a little sad, but you know, it is what it is.
But he's always good. He's always decent. Like if you don't want to pick, pick strange. He'll probably be okay
most of the time
Angela
Hot take I don't think Angela is that bad. Like I've seen a lot of people saying Angela's horrible. I think in a rank
She's not bad at all. I think she's actually still like has a good place. I
Obviously you bump into the CC of doom and gloom, but I don't think she's horrible
Angel is horrible. I just, okay, did you not just hear what I said? I just told you, I don't think she's horrible. I've played a decent amount of Angela games. Yes, you get CC'd into a fucking oblivion sometimes, but she's not horrible.
Dino feasts on her? First off, when are you seeing Dino in your games? Second, why are you playing Angela into the Dino?
Dino's permaband.
You're never seeing that fucker. He's literally banned every game.
So like to say, oh, she's horrible. Like the Dino wrote, okay, well the Dino's banned every game,
you know what I mean? So it's like, what are we talking about? Because like if the Dino's not
banned every game, I'm putting Mag and B tier. Banjo isn't horrible. And I literally had an ult
today where I ulted on Angel and I hit a piece of map geometry that made it go sideways and
my ult literally hit nothing. That doesn't mean the character's bad. That means the game's
fucking jank.
Regardless, so like, I don't know, I think people over, I think you guys are overreacting.
I don't think Angel is that bad. I think she absolutely still has a place. Also Hulk, this
This is an interesting one because Hulk, I see every game and I don't think he's that
good like in comparison.
So like, so I think Angela's here and Hulk is here.
I think he was perception of Angela's here and people's perception of Hulk is here.
But realistically, they're probably pretty close, if anything.
I see Hulk most games and a lot of times they're fucking useless.
You want to talk about feeding the dino?
This fucker is a hundred times worse than the Dino.
But you know why the Hulk is worse than the Dino that I think than Angela?
Yes, the Dino can knock down Angela, absolutely, but the beam isn't that long.
The thing is, Hulk, he has to jump into engage or he has to be playing somewhere near you.
You literally used him as a battery.
He can't play the game and you never die if we're talking about the Dino being involved
or involved.
If the Dino's not involved, well, now we're talking group, mag, M1 thing, right?
Like a couple other things that potentially cap.
And I still think he's not bad.
I just don't think he's.
As good as you guys think.
So. All right, there you go.
There's your tanks, though.
Our BP, or sorry, Black Cat.
So Black Cat is going to be in contention here for best in role.
The only reason I'm not putting our best in roll right now is because I think there's
a couple others we have to talk about before we get there.
It is both hilarious and stupid to me.
How many people I saw, because I wasn't here for the first few days of the season.
I got to play my placements and then I left.
I went to Nashville and I saw everyone screaming for dino nerfs and I'm like, we didn't nerf
Black Cat.
Like, Black Cat came out, everyone thought she was shit, within like a week, everyone,
Oh, this character is insane, has been permabanned the entire way through, got zero changes at the start of the season. Zero.
Zero.
Zero.
Still a permabanned.
She literally has so many insane things in her kit that like, it's more than overloaded. It's disgustingly overloaded.
That said, though,
I don't know how I can say this. It's not even like the first thing I think of is potentially the most broken right now
Okay, the thing that annoys me is the dino is so strong quote-unquote it is talking wrong
But DPS has like four characters that are fighting for like legitimately broke broken status
But yet the one tank hero, that's really strong. We have to kill it. We have to shoot it as fast as possible
possible. And now we play 40 BS and no tanks. So into BP, BP, you know, it's weird. I don't
think BP is horrible. But like the second they decide to go thing and just say I'm done
with you, you kind of they kind of can't play the game anymore. Now, if they don't want
to sit there and play counter swap to you, you can kind of roll some teams. But if they
They feel like I want to win this game.
You're probably cooked.
All right, let's talk about this one.
This is a real tragedy.
Why the fuck are we eight seasons in and Black Widow has not gotten a rework?
Why are we eight seasons in and Black Widow has not gotten a rework?
What's going on?
Or a buff?
There's nothing you can buff about Black Widow.
She's a sniper character and they don't want to have one-shots in the game.
Rightfully so.
She's legitimately the poster child of throwing.
You know?
Like shit, give her a DMR at this point.
Do you get what I'm saying, give her a DMR, um, what else?
Hawkeye, one taps, Hawkeye is very different.
First off, it's projectile, you technically have to charge it in Widow's hitscan.
Very different, very different.
I don't know.
You could rework her to her support.
You could basically go the honor route from Overwatch, make her like a sniper support.
But like characters so butt for so long.
So I don't know.
It is what it is.
Why it's clearly don't know what to do with her.
It's either they don't know what to do with her or like they're so caught up on their
content train right now.
Like the content train is like pushing so hard that they don't have time to slow down
and do changes, right?
Like they don't have time to do reworks.
They don't have time to, you know, make updates or reworks,
you know, because they're working on the next hero.
Does that make sense?
Speaking of which, I'm going to just do it.
I'm throwing them down there to Blade.
Like they've done everything for this guy.
Like Black Widow, Blade got the treatment Black Widow
should have gotten.
and it still didn't work.
You know, Blade got the treatment Black Widow should have
and it still didn't work.
They've given him so many micro buffs, so many changes,
so many things to do.
And he's still
butt cheeks.
He's still ass.
I don't get it.
Blade is D tier at least dude. If we're talking D tier and F tier you might as well just be like we're talking about shit and butt
You know what I mean? We're talking about shit and poop diarrhea and poop
Shit and throw up like you know what I mean? Like like we're really just we're just arguing semantics at that point
You know what I mean? Like we're not we're not actually trash versus garbage. There's no difference
They're in the same trash can't swimming around together. You know shit versus ass shit
versus blood poop versus shit garbage first it's the same shit you know I mean
so it is what it is but he's just so butt cheeks and it's sad because he was
one of the most hyped characters before he came out and now he's just useless
never even thought about and now we go on to the next broken DPS potentially
Another potential best in role daredevil the opposite side of the coin of blade
blade
Has gotten all the buffs in the world. Can't get out of the shit here
Daredevil has gotten all the nerfs in the world still dominating still a permaban
He's got constant wall hacks
He's got the constant uptime from his combos his alt is still really strong
He's a menace to support players everywhere support players, especially would rather just ban him then like deal with him in the game
Rightfully so by the way, don't make no don't think I'm saying like oh so part where I mean
Maybe it's no I fucking agree with you fuck that guy. I wouldn't want to play with it against him either
And one of my support players votes daredevil. I'm banning it with them every goddamn time
I don't think you should have to deal with that
That said though
He continues to dominate. He continues to go crazy. He continues to to run the show
every time
He's what it is, but I'm not gonna put him in best and roll not just yet at least
Now you have DPS Deadpool so DPS Deadpool I think actually unironically is really strong
probably slept on a little bit. I think he's situational. However, though, with Dive being
pretty strong, there's a lot of places where he can go crazy. I think that people haven't given him
enough of a try, to be honest with you. I think especially in overtime situations, slash,
like, last fight situations, he's pretty damn good. And he's never banned. So you can almost
always play him. So I'm surprised more people don't play him. Maybe it's because like the early
Rhetoric of how bad he is people would have been afraid to give him a try, but especially after the global nerfs for old charge
I think he's pretty good
All right on to Elsa bloodstone another example of a character who's been nerfed many times
And keeps on trucking not a perm a band
Technically there are a lot of bands and because there's multi or sorry because there's duplicate bands a lot of times Elsa will
scraped by the band sequence because she's typically a fifth or sixth band, not
a first or third, which is kind of like what's important. Like the one through
three is it's a lot of times dino, black cat, daredevil, one other character
which is still coming. So I also will slip through a lot of times as like the
4th, 5th, 6th, uh, bam.
And I don't really know what to say about her.
She's just kind of, it's crazy.
Played low key, isn't that bad?
I have not seen a single blade player do anything since he's released.
So like maybe an organized play, but I have not seen a single one anywhere.
They don't exist.
Not even, not one.
And like I bumped into a couple, like I, I think I've played games with people
like really high rank on blade and like that's what they do and they like no offense like it wasn't
that crazy you know and honestly I feel a little bit bad apparently we did the number one blade
a little dirty he was fairly not like fully locked in for the games that we spectated um
but yeah I remember you guys remember we did the spectating rank on blade and we were like oh
that's tough regardless though uh I also just really strong we're all so it's insanely good and
hitscan flavor of the month that can be insane. So not much to say there.
Generational falloff. I feel like once you see Moxie stop playing a lot of Hanzo,
not Hanzo, Jesus Christ. Moxie stop playing a lot of Hawkeye. You kind of know that he's probably
probably, probably dead, you know. But you can easily come back with like one small nerf or
Or sorry, one small buff.
You know.
You can easily come back easily, easily, easily, easily come back.
Honestly, if cloak and dagger was stronger, maybe even you see him
you see him more often, but in ranks like you just you just don't see.
Listen, man, I played overwatch this week.
Okay, leave me alone.
I said, Hanzo, relax.
Moxie played Hanzo in a watch too.
Relax.
Hmm.
On to Hella.
I think hella is underrated. I think because there's other hitscans that are so insane people like
kind of sleep on hella sometimes all of a sudden. I think she's still goddamn really fucking strong.
Really strong. Yes, there's there's like hella 2.0 is now, but I don't know. Like I you bum know
good. Hello. All of a sudden you remember, oh, shit, that this character's kind of crazy still.
You know, you pick hello and all the hitskins are banned. Well, yes, but if you're following
the list here, you're following where things are going, you're kind of seeing it. You'll see it in
a minute. Torch. I gotta, I gotta say it, I haven't seen any good torches either since they changed
The changes look promising like all of a sudden he gets his ammo fully back
He's got like big movement like big dashes, right? But like there's just they're not they don't exist. I
Haven't seen any of them. You know what? I'm doing it. I haven't seen any
There's nowhere to be sound nobody seen where the fuck are they? They're all gone
Where the fuck did they go? They're all dead. I actually know what's funny. I saw a crazy edit for torch on tiktok
Crazy good at it. I was like damn. This is heat
That's the one place I've seen a torch though.
The last six months.
I haven't seen one anywhere else.
Iron fist.
Low key.
Iron fist pretty decent.
Low key decent.
I think he's good into the dino, unironically.
He's actually pretty decent into the dino.
Still annoying to Groot.
I don't know what his killing power looks like now versus like supports and stuff with
the changes to like his normal damage and to the block, like coming off a little faster,
But he he's like a shittier Wolverine in a way, but he actually is like arguably has
more survivability than Wolverine, but also at the same time, doesn't seem to be a little
bit worse.
Regardless, I don't know, but I actually think he's pretty decent though.
I'm actually pretty high on iron fist, but I don't think I could put him any higher on
this.
Um, Iron Man, Iron Man, wait, someone just said you're going back on your words and making a tier list in the end, you know what season eight, I didn't make a tier list for season 7.5.
That's literally what I said.
Are you stupid?
You can literally go track. I didn't make one. It would have been within the last month.
It's not there. I saw a short of yours recently. Great.
So you're incompetent and you don't understand how algorithms work. And you just said because
you just saw a short, you means it must have been very recent. Even though there was context
Guaranteed given in it. Okay. Sure, man
Well, at least I know what I'm working with here
An IQ of truly too high
Anyways iron man
He was asking you don't
Man shut your bitch ass up who the fuck says you're going back on your word when you're asking no, you're not you're being a bitch
Don't that I don't fucking back out. So shut the fuck up. We're gonna so sorry going back to it
Ironman
With so many hits games being strong
With so many hits games being strong
Mag is just kind of like to leech your alt
There's just not much there
He's flying squirrel girl
On ironically I kind of agree with you. I
Kind of agree with you. I think he's more skillful than squirrel girl a little bit
and
I wish
Honestly, I like playing Iron Man. I actually think he's really fun. I genuinely really enjoy playing Iron Man
But he's got a blood cheese he's got it. Yeah, he's flying squirrel girl. You're right. He's flying squirrel girl. You're not wrong
All right, next magic magic continues to have the highest win rate of any character in the game other than penny parker on certain seasons
And I don't I don't know how to fuck. She does it. I don't see good magic that often. They're very rare
It's actually more common for somebody that like to get angry and swap magic and not like go crazy
There's like fucking six of them. I swear to God. I still can't I don't understand how this character is such a high win rate
I just don't see them. They're never they're never they're gone. They're like ghosts
They they must be like in the back ends of the server. They must only play it like two in the morning or something
I don't know. I don't know what the fuck they do, but a good magic can definitely be scary, but I I got nothing
I got nothing
Mr. Fantastic, so Mr. Fantastic got some good changes this season
They took away his CC for flyers and stuff like that, but they gave him an extra five damage
on each hit
And he's still butt cheeks
Now, if you're on console though, if you're on console, he's actually probably about here.
If you're on console, because on console, his skin isn't as strong melee characters dominate.
But where I play, he's butt.
He is not getting picked unless someone's trolling.
Maybe not this bad, maybe I'm a little harsh putting the mafts here, he's not quite that bad, but he's definitely down here, he's definitely not very good.
His punch is still bugged, wait, wait, wait, is it the bug that I saw where like one fist is 75 damage and the other one is 70?
Like they only buffed one of his arms, is that the bug?
Oh they fixed it?
Okay but that was a funny bug.
That was a really funny bug. For those who didn't see it was bugged for a little bit where only one arm was doing the extra damage.
The other one wasn't. Yeah, it was actually pretty good.
Okay, Moon Knight. I think Moon Knight is actually insanely good this season. Like almost band worthy.
like maybe close to S tier, not quite, but close. Insanely good versus the dyno, insanely
good versus Groot and like Bunker comps like Groot, Thing, Mag, Emma even. He does pretty
decent damage to like Venom, right? With the high tank comps that just like stand together,
he actually shreds and because the support ult or sorry the global nerf to ult charge supports
get their ult slower, Moon Knight still gets his ult instantly, and a lot of times Moon Knight will
build ult before anyone else in the lobby. So you actually get a free Moon Knight ult basically to
start every game. It's fucking disgusting. I bet on console it goes crazy, but he's genuinely a
menace. Like, oh sorry I actually put him, is this the DPS pull? Yeah, I think he's actually
probably one of the best DPS that's not broken right now in the game. Like Moon Knight I think is
the gold standard right now of a very strong DPS that's not broken.
On to Namor. I think Namor is also very strong, especially when Dive is really strong and prevalent,
which I think it's less so this season than it was last season. However, though, I don't think he's
like dominating the game or anything. I think he's like in a pretty solid spot. Pairs well with
with Brute, pairs well when your team is getting hard rolled by Dive, hella Namor is nice,
but like really not required and honestly just giving that much of a boost anymore.
Regardless though, I think he's actually pretty strong.
I don't think he's like busted in any way, but he does provide a lot of value, like honestly
maybe even like the high end of B, but I don't think he's like a pick every game, like all
of these guys you can pick every game.
X joins the S tier if not best in roll.
I'm not done with this yet, I'm gonna be my best in roll at the end for the DPS roll,
but genuinely there is 1, 2, 3, 4 DPS characters that are legitimate perma-bands, arguably most
broken characters in the entire fucking game, and we're still crying about the dyno.
I'll be real with you, I have never been more annoyed reading other people's opinions in
online sentiment about a video game in a long time.
Genuinely horrific, genuine idiotic, Jesus Christ, I can't fucking speak, I'm getting
so annoyed.
It is actually unbelievable how strong Phoenix is now.
A buffed nerf combo would, like, okay,
so you guys know why Phoenix is the way she is, right?
You know why that in the lower ranks,
she's really bad, in the higher ranks she dominates.
So they thought it was a good idea
to give her five extra damage per shot
and then nerf the right click.
The right click is what probably most metal players
are gonna use, they don't hit the left clicks as much.
So they nerf the part of the kit that was stronger to them
and buff the part of the kit
that was actually really good at the high end.
So at the high end, you do like 110 damage a headshot.
You fucking delete people.
Right click like the explosion, like the,
you know what I'm talking about,
the right click is like the thing you shoot at the ground
and it goes, phew, and like gives like the sparks
to everyone, that's what it is.
It is actually un-fucking-fathomable,
that that's what they did.
Unfathomable.
And then we also still have black cat untouched daredevil still annihilates and Elsa is
Number five four five six ban
insane on the sidewalk I
Know silo supposed to be pretty decent
But I feel like I'm not that scared of likes siloks like a lot of time where I think that
Depending on like okay, it's such a hit or miss you have the silo that runs the long be or you have the siloq you didn't even know existed
It's a 50 50
It's genuinely a 50-50, and I think the 50-50 depends on how good your support players are.
If your support players are actually competent and actually have hands, Syloc's not that strong.
If Syloc, if they do not have hands and are not competent and they don't work together, Syloc will run your entire team down.
It's weird. In ranked especially, that's where it's really strong.
Outside of that, the pro play, organized play, I can see you're definitely being lower, but at the moment, that's where I'm at.
Scarlet Witch.
I will not be elaborating any further.
Spider-Man.
I see a Spidey every fucking game.
I see a Spidey every fucking game.
They're goddamn every game. When Spidey was actually bad, you didn't see them anymore.
unless they were throwing, I see one every fucking game.
That means he must be playable.
Otherwise they would lose enough games
that they would just be sick of it.
It's almost like Spidey's been good for a while, guys.
It's almost like Spidey's been good for a while
and they kind of gaslit everybody into saying he's not good.
He's played every fucking game.
I wonder why.
Interesting.
It's only somebody tried to warn you.
But you guys fell for the bait.
You fell for it.
You kind of fell for it. Anyways, um, so real squirrel girl to the flying squirrel girl.
Of course, the one of course, the guy in the chat who was like, hurry up already, we're gonna hurry up
drops of slur.
Bro, you're a disappointment to your parents,
you're a disappointment to society,
your parents genuinely regret you.
And I genuinely hope you get help
because thinking like that and like being racist
is fucking bomb of the Barrel Society member right there,
man, no job's gonna ever wanna hire you,
no girl's ever gonna wanna be with you,
no one's gonna ever gonna wanna talk to you.
Please get some help, man.
Get some help.
And I know you're probably like 13,
like talk to a counselor, talk to a counselor.
Good Lord, every time without fail to
on to the next one.
Star Lord.
So I actually, I might have to take back what I said earlier about Moon Knight
being the gold standard of like really strong DPS without being broken.
Star Wars kind of there, but you actually do ban Star Wars sometimes Moon
Night only gets banned if they're playing on the playing the dino Star Wars like a six or seven ban give or take
I wish I didn't say that regardless though
He's not getting banned most games, but there are games if you have a spider on your team good example or like
at fly a certain flyers
especially
Though we having a star Lord
That said though, I think Star Lord feels like one of the most honest DPS
And before some fucking absolute chud goes, well, how do you say he has an auto-aim alt?
First off, shut the fuck up.
I know for a fact that you play a character that has auto-aim on it consistently.
Second off, yes, he does have an auto-aim alt.
However, I do think that his neutral play is actually pretty fair, and he has a lot
of tools that can be both counterable, but also give him ways to survive that don't feel
so bullshit.
Right?
You don't feel he got cheesed.
I think dying towards Star Lord a lot of times, he feels skillful in a lot of ways.
So I gotta get, I'll give him a pass.
I think he's actually kind of the gold standard of like a really strong DPS character, sometimes
worth the ban. However, I'm okay with where he's at, even after the buffs, which I think
we're a little much. I'm okay with it for a season, just not much more than a season.
Storm. Okay, this is gonna be a hot take, guys. I think Storm is awful. I, I spend some time
trying to learn Storm because I always thought very highly of Storm, right? Because I bump
into like the once in a while Storm player who's actually good, right? And it's like,
you know, maybe most people just think she's boring and they don't want to put time into
But she's strong right she's good at breaking spawn holes. She has a lot of situational times and I'm ladder like people do make it work
And so I spent some time trying to learn it and I did I started to learn like what you had to look for like
You're first off your spidey food, but like you have to look for certain situations
And I was like why am I doing all of these things?
For like a minimum value and it's boring as fuck
What am I doing?
Why am I spending all this time and all this effort to do what I could do on fucking Phoenix
by clicking a button twice?
You know what I mean?
What's the point?
What is even the point of it?
It just doesn't make like much sense.
It doesn't make much sense at all, you know?
All right, Punisher.
Hate me if you want.
He's band-worthy. I'd argue he's band-worthy.
I think he's absolutely band-worthy.
It's not, guys, it's genuinely not even just the shotgun anymore.
I know everybody knows about shotgun Punisher now, and like, you know, Momo had a big impact.
impact. I spectated him. I tried a little bit myself. I saw how strong it is. I'll be real with
you guys. I think it's more than that. It really is. Punisher is one of the few DPS in the game
that requires you to swap for him, especially as a tank player. You need to go with mag. If you do
not have a mag against Punisher, you typically just lose on the spot. He's consistent. He gets back
fast when you start learning the rollouts or how to do the zip lines, you start to learn
how to use the shotgun up close, you start to learn how to one-shot cloak and daggers
out of their ult, you learn how to one-shot supports out of their ults in general. There
are so many things this guy does. This guy does so many goddamn things. It is disgusting.
Next up is Bucky.
Bucky is pretty damn strong.
I don't think he's broken by any means.
Like I think he's actually in a good spot right now.
I think that the damage buff and the ult buff was nice.
It actually made him killable again and it doesn't feel like you have to sit there and
just hold your hook and hold your shift and hold all these things waiting for the divers
to jump in to you to stop them.
actually get to play the game again. He feels good and feels fair to play against. However,
I think there's an argument that he could even be an S tier. I actually don't even think he's
like that far off. I think he's like Moon Knight, like the tip. He's right at the tip.
Just the edge of the tip. Right at the edge of the tip. It's crazy.
Last but not least Wolverine. Wolverine I think is actually really strong as well. I don't know if
I want to say is broken, but I think Wolverine's right here with the Moon Knight and and and
Bucky where again some of the tanks in this meta he can absolutely shred. So granted dyno,
I don't know if you want to play wolven to dyno, but you could especially if they have them,
But he will still get into group and then the other tanks that are here less good into Emma less good into the thing
However pause. I actually think
Thing and
Wolf have synergy and anti synergy where if you are playing in a thing match up
Having a wolf is actually very good because you still get the team up where you can throw them
But actually i'm i think wolf still eats thing pretty hard. Yes, you can't kidnap him
But like just W key and a thing with some support and he just like sits there just swinging on you
he will kill that thing over time and
Makes it a lot harder for them to play the game, right?
So even though I think wolf like you don't like oh, they're playing thing. Let me go wolf
I don't think you have to swap off the wolf either
I think he works versus thing works with thing works against thing, but it isn't the counter to thing
Does that make sense?
Does that make sense?
I don't know if that makes sense.
Okay, now for the last most important part, best in role.
And before I nominate a best in role, I want you to look at this list.
Do you guys notice anything?
Do you guys notice anything?
We're complaining about the dyno the whole season.
And look at the rest of the DPS roster.
Look at the rest of the DPS roster.
It is fucking dominating.
They're all strong.
And for this top row, you could make arguments for four of the characters being the best in the role.
Now let's nominate one. It's Phoenix.
Phoenix is best in role.
Depending on what ELO you're at,
I think Black Cat or Daredevil
could be the best for your role.
Like depending on like if you're in gold or something
or plat, I could definitely see where like these guys,
maybe you're there, but like for where I play,
it's Phoenix, Phoenix has been every single game,
permaband.
And that said,
what do we do?
They're the strongest characters in the game
and it's not close.
It's not close, but hey guys that dino dino is ruining the game guys the dinos ruin the
game on to support Adam I'm sorry buddy Adam I just don't think it's very good I don't
he's horrible but I don't think he's very good. This is not really a reason to pick him a lot of
times. You have to play him in triple and Ultron's are so much better in triple than Adam is.
Adam at least has some utility though. Yeah, see Genuinely might be generous. You're right.
He might be generous. I think there's certain situations where he can be good though.
I think there can be certain certain certain situations, but most of the time he's bad
Most of the time he's bad
You'll pay me with two months. Sorry. I'm gonna get me get for all this. I'll come back to you guys appreciate
cloak and dagger
Guys, I think cloak and dagger had a generational fall off
Generational fall off
Hey guys, listen, listen.
You guys keep getting baited.
You guys keep getting baited.
One of these days we're going to figure it out, but you guys keep getting baited.
Remember everyone was saying how, oh, Cloak and Dagger are so good into dive.
Why haven't the last season we had dive?
I didn't make my tier list last season, but do you think Cloak and Dagger was one of the
best supports in the game last season?
Hey, listen, I didn't make my tier list.
I'm just saying, you make your own opinion.
Make your own opinion.
But I know my answer.
I know my answer.
And now here she is with the nerfed alt.
Why would you pick her?
Unless all the other supports are banned.
There's no reason.
There's not really a reason.
There isn't at all.
Not even a little.
So, listen, hey.
Okay, let me say redeeming qualities.
Redeeming qualities is the double window is nice.
You can blow people up with the double window.
The ult is still strong, much less so than before
because it doesn't last as long.
You also don't get it up as fast.
Dive being really prevalent also probably
did a bit of a number on you.
You don't have to aim.
I mean, that's never been a thing
with the Colgan Dagger, but regardless though,
I think she's just significantly worse than she was is what it is
Okay, this is a weird one support pool. So support pool
I've seen some people saying is insane and I've also had some I've had my own experiences and I don't think he's that great. I
Don't think he's that great, but I don't think he's bad
I think he's better than than than he like than before because people will either learn how to play him
But I also think he's a triple support merchant
He's A with DPS pool. Support pool is A with DPS pool. That's what we're saying.
Buddy, you can't play two versions of Deadpool at the same time. How is that possible?
No, he's in the same area of the chart.
Yeah, I think you guys are crazy.
I don't think he's bad.
I think he's gotten better as people have learned how he actually, I think, has the highest
healing output you can do in the game with his boomerang and his E, but I think you guys
are falling for stats. You guys are getting stat checked. You know, you know, support pool
is the, is like the low key throwing character, right? Like, you know, Black Widow is the poster
child for throwing. You guys know support pool is the I want to secretly throw character, right?
Do you guys not know this?
He literally is he farms huge numbers, but it doesn't do anything for your team
If you wanted to throw if you want to soft throw someone's game and not get caught you play support pool I
There's multiple pro players there's multiple people I could call right now if they're awake and I could ask them that question
They would go yeah
Let me see if Riggs is awake.
Are you awake?
I got a question.
See what he says.
I don't know if he's awake.
It's kind of late his time.
It's like one in the morning or two in the morning.
See what he says.
Um, yeah, I think you guys, I think you guys are falling for numbers.
Oh, he said, yes sir.
What's up is support pool still the light.
So the, like, which I can't type. If you want to secretly throw character, you pick him.
Since he pumps numbers.
I'm streaming right now, and I was talking about how that was a thing, and no one believes
to me.
A lot of thinking time.
See who says.
While away from the respond, moving on to Enviz.
So Enviz, we didn't respond.
Hey, you wake up a question.
This is Riggs by the way.
Riggs was the highest damage dealing EU player by the way.
this past MRC.
Yes, sir, what's up?
Sports rules, still like the secret long throw character.
You pick them and send them numbers.
I'm sure right now, I know someone has a thing,
but no one believes me.
Oh, LOL, yes.
Thank you, my goat.
Have a good night.
Anyways, do I think he's probably better now?
Yes.
Was that still a thing for a while?
Yes.
Of course your friend is gonna go with what you're saying.
All right, well then you go find someone else, man.
I don't, honestly, I don't give a fuck.
I'm here to share my thoughts with you guys
and tell you what I think is how things are
and you can either use this as useful information
Or you can use it as like a health check of the game.
I don't give a single fuck.
You can say, oh, it's not a real thing.
Here's Riggsy, by the way.
Yo, trifecta, I think if I get to do that,
I got these fuckers saying,
well, he's your friend, that's why he's agreeing with you.
No, it's a real thing.
Bro, I think you literally tweeted about it months ago.
I swear to God, I think I saw a tweet
from you specifically, Riggsy.
Did I not, did I not, did I see you,
did you tweet about it a while ago,
Or am I crazy?
You didn't tweet about it?
Okay, maybe I'm crazy then.
I swear, I saw someone, I saw someone that I followed
tweeted about it, like a month or two ago.
Anyways, it's not really a good time.
Appreciate it, thank you.
All right, next I'm in this so okay. Sorry. I kind of like skipping over in this is
Arguably one of the best supports right now
The reason why I think in this is actually kind of crime back up a little bit is even though I think
I'll get there in a minute. I think there's actually like other supports that are like at her level
I think that people have played so much in this that they're actually better at in this on average in your games
than playing something like Jeff which is still strong or something like White
Fox which is still strong like you have to have people that actually been
playing those characters recently and even though I think that for example
White Fox I think is better than Invis on average if you load into a game
unless you have an actual White Fox player I think that your like we need
to support I'm much more comfortable seeing an Invis than I am seeing a White
Fox, unless they've locked it right out of spawn. Does that make sense?
Like she can still absolutely perform. And I think on average in ranked, I, I am seeing.
I would rather see an Invis and actually knows how to play Invis
than see someone who doesn't know how to play White Fox, play White Fox.
Does that make sense?
I don't know. That makes sense to you.
But regardless, though, I think Invis works just fine.
I think Invis works just fine for most games.
Next up is Jeff. So Jeff is really strong, but I don't think he's like in ranked. I actually don't think he's that
Like as insane. I think and I bet in like ignite or like pro play. I bet he's getting a lot of play but
like I
Don't know. I don't I think he's strong, but I don't think he's like
In ranked here's the thing in ranked
your support ults are extremely important.
Yo, what's up, TCK?
Your support ults are extremely important and ranked.
And I feel like Jeff,
what ends up happening with Jeff players,
is if you're actually playing against people
that are half competent,
the EAT doesn't get anybody and he dies on it most of the time.
And then he doesn't care about where he's placing the pool.
And also like, it's not as much healing as say like Luna
or Invis or anything like that.
And so you don't end up getting as much value.
And also, like, I think Dive is slightly worse, at least in ranked right now, this season.
And so you don't need the survivability of Jeff quite as much, but he's still, he's still pretty decent, still pretty decent.
Loki.
So Loki's interesting, because I actually haven't seen much Loki at all.
Like, Loki theoretically should be pretty good right now.
But unless Gambit is in play, I actually don't see him that much.
I think he's strong. I think he absolutely is strong, but just in ranked, in ranked, I haven't seen him.
And so it's hard for me to say, oh, he's easily asked here, but like nobody's playing him.
And Moon Knight being strong could be part of it, but Moon Knight I think has been strong for a little bit.
But I think it's actually, Loki is better or worse depending on what your partner support
is.
Does that make sense?
So like if your partner support picks Rocket, you don't really want to play Loki, you know,
because like double Rocket all is like, okay, it's like not great.
Now if you have like Luna, or sorry, Gambit is a better example.
Now you're doing that every damn time.
Luna, maybe not as much, because you could probably go White Fox, and then you go White Fox Luna, which I think is much better.
Actually, that maybe that's it. Maybe like when you have Luna, you want White Fox and put them together, so you get the team up, and they work together pretty well.
Yeah, that actually might be it. I might just, I might just talk myself into the answer.
It might be that. It might be like in ranked, you a lot of times you're going to play like Loki, Luna or Gambit Luna, or sorry,
Game Loki, but because if you have Luna, you're probably playing White Fox, so White Fox and Luna go together, so you're not going to play Loki, and the game is getting perm banned, so you're not going to play them. Yeah, I guess that makes sense.
I don't know why I just took me a second, but I put it all together. Okay, cool. Alright, next up, Luna. So Luna's interesting, because I think depending on where you're at, I think Luna is arguably two or three best in the game.
I might have to move these I don't think in I don't know if in this one around the same
On the same level I might have to I'll get there as I get there because there's something else. Yeah, you know what?
Okay, let's do this we need we need to make a small adjustment
I think and this is better than Loki for sure, but like Loki's like further this way
And this is further this way, but like there's there's something else
I'm gonna put here and you guys you guys will see it in a second
Luna is really good especially in ranked
Not talking about DPS Lutus DPS Luna is also fucking terrifying
But because gambit's permanent band Luna's actually played a lot and so because Luna is almost always there
Especially with white fox she's really strong really really strong
Not much else to say there rocket this is what I want. This is what I actually wanted to get to I don't think you guys are ready
I think rocket is low-key
One of the best supports in the game
I think there's, I think there's an argument that Rocket is almost as valuable as White
Fox without Luna, or just in general, just wanting him.
You've fully lost it.
You might think so.
You might think so.
But I'm telling you, I'm telling you.
Every time someone's playing Rocket, he's getting old so fast now.
He's one of the fastest ults.
The BRB is still huge.
And he fucking shreds the Dino especially.
If the Dino is in play, Rocket actually fucking annihilates him.
Unnihilates him.
He literally explodes.
Like the play is like two dinos going to each other, take a couple bites, one bites
the other than the other dino but second bites pulls him into his team rocket walks up and fucking
and just explodes he just falls over it sends his ass back to the stone age i cannot believe
more people have not figured out how good rocket is like genuinely i have not i'm in awe and you
know what kind of explains it i when i said that everyone said i was clip farming your clip farming
chat chat streamer you're just clip farming he's not that good that's how now i know how no one
knows because you guys weren't ready to hear it. You guys weren't ready to hear it.
He's really fucking good. And if Tripple's in play, you have White Fox, Luna Rocket. Oh,
have fun with that one. Have fun with that one. Good luck. Have a good time, buddy. Have fun. See
you later. Next up is Gambit. Okay, I'm not going to pretend anything. I'm just going to put Gambit
and that's the role because he's from a band every single game.
Even though I think there's a good argument that
White Fox is arguably is like getting up there as good as as as Gambit.
There's no.
There's no argument, I think, for who is the number one.
He's from a band every single fucking game.
And I think partly he's just the boogeyman now.
I think I think Gambit is genuinely just the boogeyman where everyone believes
He is so strong because he's been strong for so long and like people don't even remember why he's strong anymore
Like if you ask somebody to name all the parts of his kit you like most players probably would
I think I would miss something if I'm honest with you. I think I would miss something
I think I would miss parts of its kit because he's been gone that long
They have nerfed his ult actually they have nerfed his ult. He's just that guy
He just has so much in his kid. It's so loaded
He's literally John Wick. We just we just he's we know of him being strong by name. We can't we don't even we don't remember why we're scared of him
Anyways regardless
Mantis so again, this list is ranked don't forget. I think mantis and ranked a lot of times is kind of hit or miss
I think it can absolutely work
I think if you're running triple Mantis is almost a guarantee need. However, I think triple is a crutch comp a lot of times in ranked especially
Where if they're forcing hard triple support from the gate out of the gate, you can typically beat them
That said though, you do bump into someone who actually knows how to play Mantis. You're probably fucked. You're probably cooked
But I think a lot of times people don't end up picking Mantis in the right ways and I think they try player and double support double support Mantis is really bad
Triple support Mantis is good, but I also think that like people don't know how to play triple support that well other than just
I'll stand there and hold hands. So like they won't play Mantis. They'll play like Rocket Luna
White Fox or Rocket Luna in biz or cloak in biz
Rocket or some shit, you know, I mean, they just they just don't have Mantis. So I
Actually not that afraid of Mantis even though I know she's really strong just in ranks. I don't think people know how to do it
well
All right, white fox arguably number two best support in the entire game now
You're arguably number two
Because she has really good healing
Not as good as say Luna or in this or or like cloak even
But she's very survivable and she wins a lot of 1v1s
The biggest problem with white fox players is they pop all in front of like fucking punisher
And I'm like dude
You're dead
They just fucking explode they just go boom
I can't explain that one to you, but she's very good into dive very good against dive and with dive
Her team up with Luna is very good. It's exceptional.
Gives her a good escape slash cooldown slash like another resource tool.
She fits with almost any other support. She fits with Invis. She fits with Rocket.
She fits with Luna. She fits with Gambit.
She fits with, I don't know if she fits with Loki. I don't know if she would fit with Loki.
Maybe. I don't know if I'd recommend that one, but she fits with almost every comp.
I think she could fit with Jeff. I think she could fit with support pool. She probably could fit with all of them
So exceptionally good
People have learned how to play her now. So she's even better
Last of Nali's Ultron. I think Ultron's the that guy for triple support
I think honestly, I've even seen a couple double support Ultron's kind of work
the double drone has been nice and also just like
His ult change as well has been nice because you can use a little more defensively or offensively to get really close
You can kind of make people explode, but he's obviously against a triple support merchant a lot of times
And if your team isn't doing too hot, we're like hey, we need a DPS to go
To go to go triple support, they just go ultron they just fly around the sky and they play flying
fake cosplay DPS support, but
There you go
That's your list as always don't forget these are my opinions. They should not be taken as the law
although a lot of times they do end up being true.
And Alison, I can't help that part.
That's just, it is what it is.
Sometimes, you know, sometimes we hit, sometimes we don't.
That's why you shouldn't take them all as like,
every single one is gonna be on the money.
Cause like sometimes depending on the meta changes
or depending on things that get discovered
and then being outdated really quickly,
which is why I always try to wait at least a week or so
before putting them out.
Even though I know most people put theirs out
like within a day or two
because everyone wants to be the first one
because like it's how you get the most amount of views.
But I try to have a little bit more of a thoughtful take
when I make these because it's not just about the rankings,
it's more about the thought process behind all the rankings.
Because if you just look at the list at the end
and then you go, oh, Streamer, I can understand them.
First of all, get your bitch ass back there.
Now, start at the beginning again.
And it's like, if you just skip right to the end,
then it's like, well, you're not gonna actually know
because like some of these characters got moved around over time.
Alright, and like for example, Enviz was up one,
and I have a good reason for why I think Enviz is up one,
but like I couldn't put White Fox and Enviz next to each other
because I don't think they're at the same level.
But like you wouldn't know that because you didn't watch it.
So you should watch it or at least go to your hero
or whatever you're looking for.
That way you have a better idea
because it's not about the ranking.
The ranking over here isn't anything.
This is, this over here just makes it digestible.
That's it.
The whole point of this is to make it digestible
and make it easy for you to be able to follow along.
That's what the point of it is.
Because if I just sat here and yapped on full cam,
you'd fall asleep.
Visuals help.
I'm personally a visual learner.
And so hopefully it helps you.
All right.
There you go.
Also follow the stream, follow the YouTube or,
or hit the subscribe button if you haven't.
It helps you out a ton.
Appreciate you.
And I got a P.
All right, I'll be back in two minutes.
Be right back.
you
you
you
Okay.
Okay, cool, cool, cool, all right, what do we got now?
I guess I'll load back into Ravel's first hack just to have something up.
But I don't know if I want to see it anymore, let me see.
It says my game is running but it's not running, oh, Jk, I guess it is.
GTA 6 drops tomorrow, are you ready?
Um, someone, I don't know why Ashley, what's that guy?
What's that guy?
He'll be fine.
Doom Raider!
With the five gifts.
Appreciate you, the big five gifts, I appreciate you.
So you like to see the prime incident in the prime
See go in the gifted pixeling the five months. Yeah, keeping the time roll it thing of time

Almost everyone does, yeah.
Oh, then they talk to you, but it's because they won't let me, and that's why it's a
shit service.
The low ping?
The soccer thing is seven months?
I think he's already been out of the shadows.
I think he's already been out of the shadows.
Soccer I think the seven months
Hey, you already been out of shadows person
Do ways oh there it did pop back shit yo swish big one big it's super challenge is that the
Shots weren't popping up from it. Anybody appreciate you. No message though
Hmm
It's easy to be home as well
Appreciate you.
OK, I got to figure out what we're going to do for the rest of the day.
Early thoughts and ideas were
as busy as we could watch, maybe, potentially.
That could be fun.
Yeah, formally hot topics.
I just renamed the plus reacts because nobody fucking ends up using that name.
Anyways, it really gets confused.
Yo, see what the fuck is on the other side?
Nope. W-5, yes, appreciate it, dude.
Dang dang dang, you're not sure what I'm doing.
Roll for Sandwich?
I think Roll for Sandwich is going to be something I catch up on when I'm driving.
Because I got to deal with so many of them, I think I have to set multiple days aside.
And I forgot something I want to do right now.
Subnautica, I actually finished Subnautica.
Or at least up to the point of what we're allowed to play.
So, I think our video is getting worked on right now.
What do you think about the rival's info tweet about the shooting situation?
You mean the one rival tweeted out this morning or is that different?
There's a more or less thing about converting from Prime to 2-1, for sure.
Oh, it's different.
Holy shit that's long.
What is this?
Can you do an out-deer abyss you got me back into after several years of not touching it?
Um, maybe at some point.
Maybe at some point, but not today.
I think I'm supposed to appreciate it.
Okay. Okay. Hello, everyone. In a previous life, I used to do offensive and defensive
anti-cheat research professionally.
Is this the guy that used to be an overwatch?
Any old overwatch knowers, remember? Wasn't there some guy on Twitter?
That was a big anti-cheat guy back in the day.
This is the same guy.
because I thought some of that stuff ended up not being true.
So I want to take it with a bit of a grain of salt.
One thing I'd like to say that the game
is doing absolute bare minimum
to secure and protect itself against cheaters.
To give the team some credit,
conveying cheating is extremely difficult.
I would be interested, but probably not today,
but I would be interested in 13 months.
I have not played it.
I am interested, though,
because chief developers are constantly adapting,
especially with AI, and testing new methods faster than most of these developers can realistically
respond to. I'm going to outline what the anti-cheat team does right and what they do wrong,
and then you can come to your own conclusions about the overall state of the game's anti-cheat
efforts. Vocabulary. DLL, this term will be used heavily when it refers to a piece of
software that is injected into a process for arrivals, is capable of executing arbitrary
code within the game's process. This allows cheaters to modify or manipulate different
parts of the game in order to gain an unfair advantage reading from or writing to the game's
state. DLL's side log or hijacking or placing a legitimate DLL that the game uses with a
malicious DLL. This allows an actor to execute arbitrary code within the game process while
masquerading as a legitimate DLL. Zim, a cheating device primarily used in console for the
example, mask a keyboard and a mouse as a controller, allowing malicious actors to essentially
have aim assist and run a ton of other scripts that give malicious actors to gain a competitive
edge over players. Function hooking has allowed malicious users to redirect how the code normally
works while giving them control over the program behaves and letting them change the results
of certain functions. Okay. Yeah, I'm just gonna, I don't think he meant to do that,
but. What they do right, sending telemetry or telemetry from the games process to the
anti-cheat backend server, even without the kernel level anti-cheat running to determine
whether a game session appears legitimate or illegitimate cheating. That's it. That's
That's the only thing they do right.
Now I think you could take all of this with a grain of salt though.
I'm going to be honest with you, I always take anything like this with a grain of salt.
So that's just something to start with, but interesting, okay.
The kernel level anti-sheet component is pretty useless.
It really only meant to serve a few purposes.
It does a bit more, but there are main, these are the main components you should actually
care about, and the entire system becomes redundant when you can simply disable the
kernel components. The first purpose is acting as a preventive measure against DLL injection,
which it does a poor job at because you can use DLL side loading and the game will blindly accept
illegitimate DLLs and inject them into the game's process or game's process. Another purpose is
sending telemetry to the anti-cheat backend, which collects data about the process and scans for
cheat signatures, abnormal process conditions, and unauthorized modifications. The kernel
level anti-cheat probably does more than that, but it becomes pretty useless when you can
just disable the kernel anti-cheat component entirely. So Valorant has this, right? Valorant
very famously has kernel level anti-cheat. Does it actually help? I think there's still
a lot of cheating in Valorant. At least there used to be. God, I look at TikTok and there's
It's just porn box everywhere that makes me, you know, I was going to say something about
it.
It's like, dude, realistically, like, does gaming only have like a few years left in
it?
Like competitive, like online gaming only has like a few years left in it until like
shooting gets so rampant and so bad that like they can't even fight it off anymore.
You know, Valorant is actually pretty good with cheaters.
The game shuts down on the spot, and you get the famous red screen.
I know what the famous red screen, but Valorant Anti-Cheat is actually pretty good.
Is it because of the kernel, or just because they're just like really good about it in general?
Interesting, good to know.
There have been claims that if you run a certain command line argument, or sorry, command line argument,
It completely disables the anti-cheat, but this is only partially false.
It disables the kernel anti-cheat component, but it does not disable the anti-cheat that
lives inside the game's process.
QSEC is another anti-cheat component inside the game's process, and it does a bit of
the heavy lifting by sending increased telemetry about your aim score, ZIM score, and other
unusual process events.
This can also be disabled by patching the games executable on disk, preventing the system
from even being initialized.
I sent this directly to the developers a while ago and they've done nothing with it.
One thing I will give them credit for, so by the way, something on this really quickly,
this like, oh I sent them things, like they're never going to use that ever.
Like ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, like any game like never wants to work with outside
people that like they don't really know unless they like contracted them and
bring them in, even if you're right, like they genuinely will never.
And I know people want to be helpful with that, but like, it doesn't even matter
if you're right, like people will just never end up doing it.
You just want the game to have the anti cheat disabled.
Didn't they say that's not what it is?
Or like they can't do that.
Interesting.
One thing I will give them credit for is that they're at least attempting
to protect this code, but they've done a terrible job executing you.
There's also another component they use called AC, Anti-Cheat SDK.
This component exists in an extremely niche location within the game's process, but I
won't explain it further because it could lead to an additional attack or additional
attack vectors, although the team already knows where it lives.
From what I understand, this component also sends additional telemetry and periodically
sends screenshots of your game to the Anti-Cheat backend, at least for high-risk players, in
In an attempt to detect cheats like ESP, which gives exact player location through walls,
this component can also be disabled.
The Anti-Cheat Team also has an additional QSEC Anti-Cheat component that is completely
server-side.
This Anti-Cheat automatically scans replay files and match data to determine whether
a player is cheating based on heuristics.
This approach is extremely flawed because a cheater can disable the components I explained
above and humanize their cheats to avoid detection. It can also lead to false bands if the system
assumptions are incorrect, which appears to happen periodically.
The anti-cheat team actually does nothing to validate whether the decolonial component
is running or not. This is one thing some anti-cheats like Easy Anti-Cheat does right.
The game server will kick you out if it doesn't receive a valid token from the client generated
by the anti-cheat. Sure, some telemetry may give the team some insight saying, hey, so
this user isn't running our anti-cheat, they're probably suss as fuck. But when those telemetry
components are disabled and your only component is the server-sided anti-cheat, it makes the
system super redundant. I was actually about to, like, my question reading all this beforehand
was like, we shouldn't the system know, like, if they're communicating, right? Like, they're
communicating back and forth. And it's like, well, if one of them goes quiet, right? And
It's like it's not talking to you anymore.
It's like, well, then something's wrong,
but it doesn't sound like that.
It won't check.
It won't check like, hey, why is this not responding
to me anymore?
That's not great.
Mar-Riles team claims that a user who gets banned
will get device bans and IP bans.
From my understanding, they don't use, they don't IP ban,
but they do attempt to device ban, which is a hardware ban.
And they do a terrible job at it.
Since you can disable the kernel component of Anti-Cheat,
the game process only left one way.
Do call Windows functionality to generate a hardware
identifier based on the limited functionality
that Microsoft gives them.
This is completely redundant when you can disable
all the components I had mentioned earlier
and the use function hooking to essentially spoof
your hardware identifier.
And once you get banned, you can clean up all the traces
the game's process leaves and create a brand new account
if nothing happened, like as if nothing has happened.
There's a few more components
that I haven't talked about or may not completely know about,
but I hope this gives you some slight idea
on how the team is actually handling cheating.
I actually said most of what's currently being done,
currently in this post directly to them 10,
or the team months ago, and haven't done anything with it.
You know where to contact me, NetEase, chow.
Yeah, they will never do that, by the way.
I'm just putting this out there.
They will legitimately never respond to you ever.
No company, I don't think ever will,
unless it's like a very small indie company.
They genuinely will not.
That said, though, obviously,
This is a little bit above my pay grade.
But like as you know earlier today,
we were talking about the,
what did, Riggsy, what are you sending me right now?
I feel like I shouldn't open these.
Yeah, I'm not gonna open these.
Don't show on stream, yeah.
What the fuck?
It's all very real.
Yeah, this is obviously a little bit above my pay grade, I'm gonna be real with you,
this is above my pay grade.
But this is why this morning when I was talking about the cheating problem, I was a little
bit pessimistic and saying that like, I'm not sure if I like fully believe it, because
cheating is a very hard thing to deal with.
And especially rivals who was previously already stated that they were gonna like go hard on
it and then looking at the list seeing three hardware bands and it's like well I I'm a
little bit suspicious because I am like I want to see action and even though right now
it's looking like they're taking action let's see if it actually holds up because we've
already heard this once before you know we heard it once before and I know that shooting
is always an uphill battle like it's never gonna be perfect you're always gonna be fighting
like against the waves like against like against the current but yeah this is
coming to the time where I think a lot of people are kind of frustrated with
rivals both rightfully and unrightfully sell and for a lot of reasons but yeah
I honestly I don't even it's I don't think it's just a rivals problem that's
That's just like a gaming problem in general right now, you know?
Gaming in general right now has a really big problem with especially the rise of AI and
cheating and stuff like that.
It does genuinely make me a little nervous long term.
Are we like 10 years away from no longer having competitive online gaming?
Because you can just program an AI to play for you and just run lobbies and become the
best player.
There's a lot to that, you know.
Wasn't there some game though that worked with cheaters, or with cheaters to reduce the amount of cheats? I have no idea.
I have no idea.
Um, yeah, the console giving is safe at least for now.
I mean console giving will still have Ziming, so it's like not really that safe.
But I guess it's kind of why GTA 6 is going to be on console only at first, right, because
they're probably going to be trying to like limit how many of those lobbies that you spawn
in and just get immediately nuked over and over and over, you know?
We're getting the devs can also use AI?
Well, that's not...
I'm not worried about the devs using AI with the rise of competitive PvP games.
Like it's...
Like, I think it'd be, like, yes they can use AI too, but it's just gonna be a constant
war back and forth.
And it's like, are they gonna have the resources and the time to keep up with like, ever, like...
Yes, they have more tools, but they can also have as many tools against them, you know?
I don't know, there's a lot to think about.
There's a lot of stuff going on there, unfortunately, but it is what it is.
There's not much we can do it, or do about it, you know what I mean?
Not much we can do about it.
We can only just do what we can.
Which is the sad truth, you know?
You guys just want to do some bids for the rest of the stream?
It's already like four and a half hours.
Do you guys want to?
You drew a little dust dance?
Where is it?
Wait, that's kind of cute.
Oh, he's shaking it.
That's really cute.
He's like, something we talk about all the time is when he gets excited, he shakes his
bun.
He's like tailed bun.
That's why he's shaking his bun.
I have to show Shae later.
Hang on
No, it's actually so don't forget
Okay
Yeah, okay, so if you have to throw it in um
Throw it in fast fast reacts is a channel in my my discord called fast reacts
We just renamed it from fast TV or not fast TV. Sorry. We renamed it from hot topics because nobody was fucking ever
Nobody understood it
What the hell what is this I took my I took my fat frog to the vet that looks gas I'm in
All right, uh, take stock I'm not gonna stream this like the react section because unfortunately
Take stock does not like react content, I think you're like steep leak
Like you will like not think it's me and I'm not trying to catch any shadow bands and bullshit
So I'll catch you later. I couldn't switch it if you want to watch some vids with us. If not, whatever. I'll see you later. Goodbye
Okay
I got one video as well
Which one do you want to watch first? There's two videos.
Seven levels of competitive FPS games, or I took my fat frog to the vet.
Type one for the FPS games, type two for the fat frog.
Alright, fat frog's winning. Let me go pee really quick, and then we're going to watch about fat frog.
Well, that's wrong.
Well, then.
you
All right, you guys voted.
You guys voted.
I took my fat frog to the bed, and here's what happened.
If you're wondering where I got this, it's a channel I just heard called Fluts Reacts.
Uh, it used to be called Hot Tile X, but everyone always got confused about it, so I renamed it. Lock it!
Okay, I'm gonna show you what it's really like to take your dog to the vet.
Are you excited, dumpling?
Oh yeah!
And dumpling isn't traveling alone.
Six of my favorite animals have appointments to that.
Oh, she's in!
Oh, wow!
Ooh!
There we go!
Listen, nothing against you if you like reptiles all power to you. I would never have as a messel into the Styrofoam box
Well, they don't tell you about this process
That every single person you pass also has a snake on them. It's just hidden a little bit better
One of them are fixed in what try snake stuck in that because they have the heat blasting
Penelope gets to see the train for the first time
Okay, I don't know why it's a little diabolical taking it taking it's your snake out on the train like people are gonna be fucking terrified
Some of the animals should be fine
But others have ailments that could be deadly
Luckily, we've come to the right place. That's frogs are not reptiles. Let's get one big butt through here
He showed a bunch of other pets
Wasn't all just the frog home to the only specialized reptile and exotic step in New York City
Let me give you a quick tour
Beautiful mountains
Black mountains. All right warrior. Let's go
I've only been in New York once the crap crap was there with me. I didn't like it
I didn't like New York. Honestly, I think Boston's way fucking cooler and nicer than New York is
I try to do these big checkups once a year, but this one is seven months because I brought it
Brings me again while I thought that has never seen. There's only one way to find out
What's going on?
How you doing?
Good to see you.
This is Dr. Clearing. He spends his day working with all sorts of animals
We have got a lot of exams to look through. We're gonna go ahead and start with the animal that is probably gonna hate this the most
What kind of...
What kind of animal?
Hello.
Hi.
Do you have plans in?
I'm just going to put you into this takeout container.
Does that look fun?
Nope.
Toes here has an almost embarrassing name.
His name's Toes?
His name's Toes?
I believe that she lays too many eggs.
There we go.
Hi, peepie.
Wow right in my dirty bed. I'm so sorry and I'm worried she's gonna crash her calcium levels
So I want to check I think I've ever met toes. You've never met let's be toes cuz she probably has it in here fair
We're not she's crazy. She's feral. She doesn't really bite unless she's really
So what do you do with the eggs like with the babies? She lays the key blanks sometimes six eggs and of course in three months
Wow, yeah, careful
She's a nice got a real full abdomen
She might be, does she grab it again?
Could be.
Who the fuck the ultrasound on?
Yeah, childbirth isn't easy on any animal.
No, I cannot imagine.
Dr. Cleary is looking for calcium sacs in her throat.
They can indicate healthy calcium levels.
There's no giant calcium sacs in there.
I know, I know.
It's me.
Aw.
Let's see what the ultrasound tells us about it.
I gotta say, dude, the thing I've had the hardest time
adjusting to you with like Gus is,
sometimes you gotta do stuff to the animals
that they don't fucking want.
Like he gets very gooby, like his face gets really gooby,
he gets these goobs, like eye goobs,
and his face gets like, his folds get really gross,
and so you don't like clean them,
you don't like wipe it with like these special wipes,
and you have to like get in there,
and he does not like it,
and he like, you're like fighting,
and he like makes noises, and I'm like, it's okay,
I'm sorry, like I'm not trying to hurt you,
but I have to do it.
I got her in the boat, I like it, I like it.
But we sacrifice personality for Luxia.
She is round up the bite at some point.
She wants to take that little pat on her chest.
No, we trust.
Oh, yep, there's an egg.
Oh my god.
That's a long one too.
But there's good calcium deposition.
Wait, how does?
And you can see so, you know how it's dark.
How does it lay the egg though?
That's because there's calcium building up
on the shell around it.
So it's blocking the sound waves from going.
So that's a good sign.
Not only is she gravid or pregnant with eggs,
but she's got two in the oven in the form of follicles.
I should always spare if you want to.
But it's, but that looks like such a big egg is such a smallness on her.
I think that's around like 12 to 1500 roughly.
Because the calcium deposition on the eggs looks solid,
there is no way I'm putting toes under the knife.
Toes, you win this round.
You may have noticed that I packed the lizards in the food containers that we eat out of.
But for the snakes, it's a little bit different.
Actually use a pillowcase for my bed to transport them. I know I hate the room of Ivan here
My pretty girl Penelope here is going in for what that's not a long time check out
So I'm from Penelope has only ever bitten the vet. This is a very special girl. Oh, she's gorgeous
It is a very pretty snake
I don't really like saying that much, but I'm not afraid of them. I just don't like avoiding the fences.
Oh, she's gorgeous.
Penelope is perfect.
Or at least I thought.
She's got things to do.
400 grams, okay.
Oh man, I love her eyes.
She should not be grabbing.
Yeah.
There's something just kissable about her.
She's beautiful.
She's gonna bite?
Oh.
Okay, okay. You want a little thing to hide in while I feel your belly?
your belly. So far so good and now it's time for an ultrasound. What's the weirdest thing
you ever found during an ultrasound? Oh, we found an inter-susception in a 30-year-old
red tailed boa. So that's basically where it's kind of like when you roll a sock off,
how it kind of doubles over. The intestines were doing that to itself, so it was constricting
Oh, that's bad.
Yeah.
And it wound up having this weird tumor.
She had a couple cysts on her kidneys.
So giving ultrasound to a snake looks crazy.
Sometimes it's benign.
So does dark areas.
Penelope has...
Penelope has wiggling cysts.
But because they're benign,
Penelope is still perfect to me.
But for our next patient, my concerns are...
The frog!
Okay, I was gonna say, I kinda wanted to see the frog.
Okay, that's the only one I was really interested in.
This is Dumpling.
He is my male rainfrog.
He is not a reptile.
He looks like he's covered in sugar.
But he is covered in sugar, with a beautiful booty.
Much, much better than yours.
But that was too long for the title.
It is my goal to breed them.
But I can't seem to get Dumpling to call
a crucial part of the breeding process.
They're attacking him. Fight back!
But I noticed that one of his lungs looks enlarged.
Could this be an ailment preventing dumpling from calling?
God, his butt just does it for me, though.
And he's got a small one.
What?
Whatever this guy is, is pressed right up against the skin.
So these guys don't have a diaphragm, so anywhere, if there's an organ somewhere, it's going
to compress the lungs first, because lungs filled with air.
We're all going to look at the ultrasound, okay buddy.
I'm putting him in here so that, oh, he's a nerd.
So that we don't get the slowness of skin.
It's just distilled water.
Or slime.
So that's this inside.
You can see his little heart going.
It's beating.
It's good.
He's alive.
Stem of wall thickness is 0.15 centimeters.
Oh man.
He doesn't get anywhere too many runs.
And they can only get like 10 inches at a time.
Running is a generous word.
Ha ha ha.
Nothing's looking at all.
And I think the stuff right on the side is the liver.
All that worry to find out that lump
is probably just his liver.
More obvious than males because they have less body fat.
Oh he's okay.
I'm thinking of weird lumps.
Our next.
Okay.
I wanna go to the other one.
I just wanted to see if he was okay.
That was pretty good though.
That was pretty good.
Honestly, being a vet is, you think you're going to be just playing with dogs and cats
all the time?
I just realized I probably, I probably wouldn't be built for it to be honest with you.
Okay, alright, I have this one.
Yeah, I thought this would be a pretty good video.
It's actually from a really small channel.
I got recommended it.
It's like, it's the seven levels of competitive FPS games, and so I saw Overwatch was number
Four behind Rainbow Six Siege and ahead of Halo and I thought that was really interesting
So I was like, you know what? Let's hear your reasoning mr. YouTuber man
What is your reasoning?
They're showing goats, oh.
Well, so nothing against R6, but I think Overwatch is way harder than R6.
Let's get one thing straight.
Not all competitive FPS games are created equal.
Some are crowd-pleasers, others are deep tactical chess matches,
and one sits at the mountaintop like an untouchable god.
So it's like serious?
But ranging them, that's where things get nuclear.
That it is where things get nuclear and I know CS is like the biggest e-sport. It's one of the biggest games of all time
No doubt
But I feel like a lot of like
Talk but I feel like there's some modern games that are like so much more
There's so much to them
But I guess like like CS you've been refining those skills for like 20 years, you know
The competitive FPS series isn't just about getting the fastest, it's about legacy, depth, cultural impact, and whether your game will bear a mere 5 years, or forgotten faster than a TikTok trend.
Relieving to the golden age of tactical shooters, yet half these games are built on foundations shaking...
This is Cod, right? Biggest Legion Los Angeles thing in this Cod.
...and the most cards in a hurricane. So buckle up, because here are 7 levels of competitive FPS games.
games. You want to know a fun fact? It's been years. It's fine now. No one's going to come after me.
But I remember when I used to work in Overwatch League. So Overwatch League season two ending
was in Philadelphia. And so they have an investors meeting, right? And I got to go down. I got to
go down all the big wigs because they were like they need their young intern to fucking
and please translate competitive speak and like, okay.
So they do an investors meeting for Overwatch League
and you wanna know what was very upsetting slash funny.
At 2019 investors meeting Overwatch League,
they didn't talk about Overwatch, they talked about COD.
They were excited about COD coming up
and they wanted everybody to start investing
in the COD scene that they had created
and they were trying to pitch it to all the teams.
And so I remember like our leadership was really annoyed
because they weren't interested in COD.
And they were like,
why are we going to an investor meeting about this league?
And then they don't want to talk about the league.
They want to talk about a new one.
They want more money.
And I remember just being like,
I didn't know much.
I was like, I know COD,
but like I don't know anything but like professional COD
at the time, you know?
And it's funny that COD,
the COD League lasts, I mean,
it doesn't, COD League doesn't still go on technically, right?
Like it's like something else now, right?
But, yeah, just a fun fact that that was interesting.
Level 1, The Graveyard.
Welcome to the FPS Graveyard.
Is it a graveyard?
Level 1.
Concord?
Putting Concord here is diabolical.
X Defiant.
Putting Concord and X Defiant next to...
I feel like this should be a war...
Well, actual war crime.
Inspector Divide.
Dude, I forgot about Inspector Divide.
Dude, that game actually, unironically,
kinda had a cool premise,
but it had no marketing behind it, and it was like...
The same thing as Valorant and other games I've done a hundred times with not much difference.
So I don't think it caught on.
But I actually thought it was going to be a decent game.
But I don't play tax shooters, so it wasn't for me.
But I thought it had a cool premise.
Graveyard.
And then putting X to find it there.
I think X to find it just needed more time in the oven.
Or not sorry, not more time in the oven.
It needed more time to cook.
It just needed with a cod cycle to die.
He has a graveyard where million-dollar budgets meet reality
and corporate ambitions get buried faster than you can say servers shutting down.
This isn't a single game, it's an entire tier of titles that convinced themselves they could detour on the kinks.
First, let's pour one out for Sony's Concorde.
No, let's not do that.
It is in development, 400 million budget, and it lasted exactly 14 days before getting yanked offline.
Well, dude, I do you guys remember the sponsored stream?
E-Mong had a sponsor stream.
I wasn't sponsored.
They didn't want to sponsor me.
And so I played with him, so he didn't have to play by himself.
And I'd have to mute to fucking bitch you guys because I was like, dude,
my fucking mouse kept going to my other monitor.
I was like, what the fuck is happening?
But like, I was like, yeah, like I can see it.
Like it's like a hero.
Sure. Like, yeah, but like they need to fix the PC stuff like really badly.
And then it didn't even get that long.
Just die.
13 days.
That's barely enough time for players to learn the character names.
On the other hand, X Defiant had everything going for it on paper.
Ubisoft backing, Decent Gunplay, Nostalgic Faction.
Ooh, Ubisoft backing.
Astrics.
And theming.
But Decent doesn't cut it in the genre.
Players tried it, shrugged, and went back to the games that actually mattered.
Meanwhile, Spectre divide-
I- I think I don't totally agree with the- the X Defiant take-
I think that COD Cycle was gonna kill it and they gave up when the new COD came out and
that COD did not last fucking a month.
People hated the new COD the year that...
It wasn't this year or last year, I forget, but like, dude, COD shit to bed that year
and they had already announced like, oh, we're done.
It's like, no, give it another month or two.
Like you should at least try, you know.
But the bold promise of controlling two bodies simultaneously.
Innovative, absolutely.
Sustainable as a competitive ecosystem, the player can't speak for themselves.
Each one had passionate developers, unique mechanics, and corporate executives convinced
they found the secret sauce.
Here's a brutal truth these games all learned too late.
Innovation without retention is just expensive fireworks.
The FPS graveyard is literally titles that prioritize being different, which unfortunately
isn't enough.
True, that is true actually.
Level 2.
Call of Duty.
Let's start with the elephant wearing a golden headset.
Call of Duty competitive.
The CDL pulls 100,000 plus viewers for finals and 126 million prize pools like candy.
But calling Call of Duty a competitive FPS feels like calling McDonald's fine dining.
Sure, millions consume it, but is anyone really taking it seriously when the game literally
aims for you?
Well, I don't think it has so excellent with my battle met.
I don't think it's that.
I think it's actually caught as casual in a lot of ways and casuals don't give a fuck.
But caught is arguably the largest video game franchise of all time.
I don't know if it's still true today.
It's fallen off quite a bit since it's heyday, but I think overall it is probably the largest
franchise in history, right?
And so you have a lot of people to pull in, right, Pokemon?
Okay, Pokemon, you got a good point, but Pokemon's more than a video game.
Pokemon's like everything, you know, like the shows and merchandise.
You're right.
But like, I think as a game, 2K, no, I think COD is more popular than 2K all time.
If you want to put all the games together, Madden, 2K, MLB, NHL, put them all together,
maybe, but you got to remember, all the Cod bros play all the sports games, right?
They probably all play the same thing, ball and gun for a reason, right?
Regardless though, right? He said one of, so he's all right. Yeah, okay, like everyone always
wants to go, I'm actually, okay, like, do you want to talk about like semantics? Sure, like,
there could be this one or could be this one, but it's still up there, right? Point being though,
Um, they just don't care.
They have the huge people to pull from, but like most casuals, like they didn't really
care that much, like, realistically.
Not a super competitive game, but it is competitive to play, but people don't want to go pro and
cod very much.
To the CDL apologist won't admit, all of Beauty's aim assist is so aggressive it practically
plays the game for you.
We're talking rotational aimesses that tracks targets through walls, bullet magnetism that
bends shots towards enemies, and sticky crosshairs that make missing harder than hitting.
So how do you build a competitive scene around mechanics that reduces skill gap to almost
nothing?
Meanwhile, the scene also resets itself every single year like competitive amnesia.
New game, new meta, new maps, new everything.
The numbers look impressive on paper.
versus FaZe Grand Finals pooling 200. This feels like a setup for like CS is the best
game of all time. I saw the thumbnail but like this feels like a setup it's like oh it's
a different game every year everyone has amnesia like it's like let's pump the brakes a little
bit you could say that you could say that with a couple of different games that are
still like you have to introduce a new map it's like well now everyone has to learn
the new map or like heroes get reworked or guns get reworked or whatever it's like I
I think you could say that it's maybe a lower tier eSport
because of things like the aim assist,
things like control versus mouse and keyboard.
You could say, but just like how active
its current player base is with the eSport,
like for like, let's say it gets a million players a day,
like let's just say, right, like I know it's not,
let's say a million players a day,
but only 50,000 of them watch the eSport on average.
Like, well, that's pretty decent,
but probably not that high,
Considering that's just daily players like monthly. Let's say it's 10,000 towards like 10 million players playing cod
And it's like only 50,000 of those people really care about the east world and then all of a sudden it doesn't look very good, right?
So it's like you could say that they're not very
Connected and it's more and more casual that's trying to have any sport rivals is almost a good example
But I don't know about the thousand viewers
$300,000
But strip away the marketing budget and nostalgia, and you're left with an elaborate commercial
for the next $70 release.
It's pretty much competitive fast food, engineered for mass appeal, profitable as hell, but ultimately
very disposable.
Level 3
Halo literally wrote the blueprint for console e-sports when most of you were still learning
to walk.
Before Counter-Strike was selling out to Venus, Master Chief was packing MLG events with 50k
streaming fans watching split-screening local duels.
The 2007 MLG Vegas finals between Final Boss and Carbon pulled the numbers that would make
modern Halo Championship series event cry.
But let's address the uncomfortable truth.
Halo today is a former Heavyweight Champion still throwing punches at 50.
The Halo World Championship...
More like throwing punches at 70.
...2023 peaked at 115,000 viewers, which is respectable, but a far cry from what other
eSports games routinely pull.
Modern Halo is living off legacy, modern current relevance, and everyone knows.
Yeah, I loved Halo.
Dude, Halo was my shit, dude.
Everyone wanted to be MLG Halo back in the day, Halo 2, Halo 3.
Let's do some game battles or do some some MLG tournaments, but like now it's like
I don't know what happened like obviously it's a different studio obviously like it's been so many years like the gameplay is just different now
but like
You know what? I think Halo truly means it needs a really fucking good campaign
Like genuinely it needs a really good campaign
It needs really good tools for its community to build cool shit
It needs good social features and then an eSport can pop up
But if you try to just go straight eSport it will fail like they just don't have there's no connection
All those people have aged out right like everybody who loved Halo and terrible Halo has fucking kids now
There the fuck they've got kids and maybe even some of them's kids are gonna have kids soon
You know I mean like they're they're aging out. They just don't have the time. They just don't care
They need something to bring them back into it. And so without that, I don't think you're ever gonna climb back out of the hole that it's currently in.
Yes, Piers White Halo still deserves this poll. It proved console FPS could be just as skill-intensive as PC games, but...
Yes, honestly, I think it is super skill-intensive, but there's also a culture difference with console and PC.
PC is much more integrated like Esports, Twitch, YouTube, all this stuff. Console is like a little more separate.
Everyone said it was impossible.
Poor shot, BR kills, phone timing, mastery, power weapon control, this wasn't casual couch gaming.
Halo pioneered the LAN party atmosphere that every modern e-sports event tries to recapture.
Those MLG and Aheim crowds weren't just watching a game. They were witnessing history.
The game might be swimming in a smaller pond than now, but it's a pond Halo helped dig.
That counts for something. Even if the current fish aren't as big as they used to be.
I agree with this, that's actually the best take so far.
Level 4 Overwatch
Overwatch is the most expensive lesson in eSports history.
And we all got...
Oh, we're about to get cooked.
...to watch the train wreck in 4K.
Activision Blizzard's worth 20 million franchise fees at the Overwatch League convinced they
could buy their way into traditional sports legitimacy.
For one brief shining moment in 2018-2019, it actually looked like it might work.
40 million plus viewers from Grand Finals.
That's actually not totally true.
It actually worked into 2020.
The problem is, 2020, they shifted
to the home and away format.
So basically, history lesson time.
2018, every match was played in LA.
Every team lived in LA until the Grand Finals,
and then they all went to like New York or something.
I forget where they went.
2019, they started experimenting with home and away formats
by doing things called homestands.
So Dallas hosted one, I think Atlanta hosted one.
It was the only events outside of grand finals
that were in a different city
and then Philadelphia hosted the finals, right?
So basically they're trying to see
if fans would travel to events.
They were trying to become the next NFL of Esports.
These went well because you would go
and it wasn't just one match.
You would go and see a bunch of different teams play, right?
You'd have like four days of matches
with like all 12 teams or all 20 teams.
I mean, like you'd have like, not all 20, you'd have like, let's say 16 of the teams would go, right?
And so you'd see tons of matches, tons of teams. So like, if you were a fan of like two or three teams,
you could get to see all those teams play at the same time it worked.
2020, they tried to go to home and away format where you would go to an event and you'd actually either see just,
you'd see just that one team playing one other team, just like an NFL game.
And they started to see that it wasn't looking too hot after the first few games and then COVID hit.
COVID saved them actually low key because they went home and started to have to play from home
to like go with the events and they play from home slash like facilities. The problem was though
they needed to use that time to regroup and go back to LA. They didn't do that. They tried to go
back into live events. It did not work. They were bleeding money like crazy. The revenue was not there
and the original vision of home and away disappeared
because COVID, and so a lot of teams
started laying off all their staff.
I was included in that, by the way.
And then after that, they just realized
they were bleeding millions of dollars and wanted out.
And so teams were basically just saying,
fuck it, we want out.
Get us out, get us out, get us out.
And so eventually, oh, sorry, there's another big piece.
I forgot, I almost forgot the history.
They sold out.
They sold us out.
In 2019, they got a huge like $120 million
YouTube offer to stream exclusively on YouTube.
Twitch at the time was pulling massive viewership.
Plus they were embedding the streams, I think,
on like websites, because like,
you could tell like the viewership would go super high
and super low, super high, super low,
even with drop systems, but like,
they were probably embedding as well.
And so people were hype, hype, hype, hype, hype.
And then you also had the system
where you could actually watch the game
from people's point of view.
Like if I wanted to watch just the Tank Players POV,
I could watch just the Tank Players POV.
It was a great system, it was 25 bucks for the year.
And then it was a YouTube and they removed that feature.
So you gave fans a cool feature,
like almost like a red zone,
and then you took it away from them and said,
oh, it's better because we make money.
And then they took away the drop system.
So like if you watch, you get to get tokens
to buy the in-game skins that you could only get
by getting tokens from watching the eSport, right?
It was like a reward system where if you watch the eSport,
you could buy skins in-game of your favorite teams
colors or whatever, they got rid of that because they went to YouTube and they had to rebuild
the whole system for drops. It took like a year or more to build it again. And so they lost a ton
of momentum as well. And so what happened was, realistically, the league got too greedy, too
fast, tried to outgrow itself, stumbled, tripped, fell, fell down a hill, fell on a cliff, hit their
head on the way down and then cried. Liberty Investors ESPN coverage. Then reality delivered
the brutal lesson in why you can't just throw money at competitive integrity.
The viewing experience was pure chaos.
If you weren't already deep into Overwatch, watching Overwatch League felt like trying
to understand quantum physics during the-
Oh, and goats, and goats was what happened to him.
Six ultimates going off simultaneously while casters screamed about huge graphs and perfect
transcendence which made zero sense to outsiders.
But the real killer was solo queue.
Strangers trying to coordinate dive compositions in ultimate timing, it was like asking a pick
up a basketball team to run Lakers level plays.
This is not, this has nothing to do with Overwatch League.
The disconnect between what pros played and what regular players experienced was so massive
that watching Overwatch League felt like watching a different game entire.
Well, yeah, of course, but you can say that for any sport.
Of course, but like, I had nothing to do with that, at all, like not even a little.
Overwatch 2 transition was supposed to fix everything five years.
Oh, that was the other thing. I forgot about that. Overwatch 2 was played a year early
for Pro League. So I was trying to think, why did it die so hard in 2021?
After COVID 2020, 2021, they played Overwatch League on Overwatch 2. Overwatch 2 didn't release
until the October of 2022. They played it a whole year early. Well, the game was still
jank and they were trying to make it to pull it together so you could only watch overwatch 2
and play overwatch 1 for a full year oh my god i forgot about five roll logs simplified gameplay
instead it felt like renovating a house by burning it down first pve promises were broken legacy content
was deleted and long time fans felt betrayed current overwatch league viewership rarely cracks
50k for regular season matches. That's a there's a little outdated now. I can say because it's eight
months ago. Actually, this is outdated even from eight months ago. Grand finals actually this weekend
at four in the morning EST there were seven in the morning and four to seven in the morning,
I think was at 165,000 viewers on twitch. So they definitely have figured it out drops is a big part
of that though, real talk, but yeah. 90% decline from peak numbers. But here's not all what got
right. It proved hero shooters could work at the highest level. It normalised ability-based
FPS mechanics across the industry and it created genuinely incredible moments. Prokid's Genshin
Blade on Dorado, London Spitfire's Championship run, Heinz Widow headshots, pure poor trivony work.
The problem wasn't the game. It was trying to force lightning into a bottle made of corporate expectations.
That's pretty fair.
Level 5
Not totally accurate with every all the details, but that was pretty fair overall.
Rainbow Six Siege
Alright, let's hear this one.
If Call of Duty is competitive fast food, Rainbow Six Siege is a Michelin Star restaurant where the chef personally insults you if you can't appreciate the molecular gastronomy.
This game doesn't just have a learning curve, it has a learning clip that most players fall off
before they understand they're even climbing. But that's...
Okay, that's kind of true.
The brutal complexity is exactly why Siege works as a tier one esport.
The six-invitational 2024 sold out a 10,000-seat Montreal Arena filled with fans who understood
that watching Duel or execute a perfect run-out or G2's side-execute unfold is just as thrilling
building a very no-stop montage. These aren't aim-views, they're tactical puzzles where
one zone-spot or reinforcement placement can determine the entire round.
Yes, but no. Like, okay. So, for those of you who don't know, I played Siege, but this
was like the year one, like the first year of Siege, so it's a lot of changes then.
Yes, like what walls you're enforcing, where you set up, what operators you pick, and how
holding is definitely huge but that's very baseline like that's the start that's a starting line
everything is beyond that like that was that during my time that was a big deal
I don't think I bet that's probably not told I think it's probably way more complicated now and
it's probably like gunplay is bigger rotation is bigger there's probably a lot more than just like
What walls do you reinforce now?
Invitational consistently pulls 300,000 concurrent viewers across platforms,
with a $3 million prize-folded rival majors.
The pro scene might not have CS's massive casual crossover or Valorant's corporate polish,
but what it lacks in accessibility, it makes up for in pure competitive integrity.
Every operator ban, every site fake, every utility troll matters.
Siege has something most games never achieve.
A community that genuinely respects the skill-sealing.
Watch someone get demolished by pango or canadian and instead of complaining about rng they'll
study the watch to understand the 4d chess move they just witnessed.
The game- true because it actually is like you you have full control over the game right like
there's no rng mechanics and it's like they hit the shots they hit the rotation you can really
watch them doing it right like they threw a flashbang through a frag droned it out whatever so it's
like much more receptable, right?
So like Overwatch is a good example,
where it's like, you feel like, oh, I can't do that
because like, let's say you see some crazy tank player
make a crazy play and it's like, well, I can't do that
because my supports aren't that good.
Like, I only reason he could do that
is because his supports were so good.
Some level, true, but the opposite side is true too.
Like their team was so good that if he was doing that
in your ranked game, he wouldn't even need the supports.
He could do it normally, right?
But like, people don't realize that.
And so it's a lot harder to translate it.
and so we will write it off immediately.
And Siege though, you can see one person doing all these things.
In the manner of intellectual respect,
which is why it has been competitive legitimacy,
that flashier titles still chase.
Plus, let's be honest, there's deep satisfaction
in watching streamers confidently loading to rent,
thinking Siege looks easy,
only to get absolutely dismantled by game sense
that didn't even know existed.
Level six, Valorant.
Okay.
Riot Games looked at counter strikes,
20 year dominance and said,
We can do that, but with a better infrastructure, international storylines, and abilities that
actually matter.
And you know what's infuriating, they were absolutely right about almost everything.
Valorant Champions 2023, 1.4 million peak viewers.
Istanbul Arena sold out in minutes, fanatic vs. EG Grand Finals that had more production
value than some Olympic events.
The VCT system creates genuine reach-
I actually don't know a whole lot about Valorant's pro scene to be honest with you, but it always seemed well supported.
In Vivalry's, NA vs EMEA isn't just marketing, it's built into the tournament's structure.
Meanwhile, Counter-Site fans were still arguing about major formats from 2015.
Here's what makes Valorant genuinely terrifying to other tactical shooters.
Wireless Token CS's greatest weakness.
Valve's hands-off approach and weaponized it into Valorant's greatest strength.
Consistent updates, aggressive anti-cheat that actually works.
That answer works, rank system that makes sense, tournament production that makes other esports
look amateur.
They didn't just copy Counter Strike, they improved on almost every aspect of the competitive
experience.
The abilities debate is what is so wise lower, gets spicy.
C.S.
Purists will die on the hill that jet dashes and omen smokes somehow reduce skill expression.
But watch Aspas, Amp trifract or chronicle clutch impossible rounds and tell me abilities
are crutches.
The game demands everything CS requires, cross replacement, economy management, tactical
awareness while adding another layer of utility mastery that separates good players from great
ones.
Is it as pure as Counter-Strike?
It depends on your definition of purity.
Is it building the more sustainable, competitive ecosystem?
The numbers don't lie.
Riot's international tournament structure, regional leagues and consistent content pipeline
make VALAMENT the most professionally managed tactical shooter in existence.
That's not just a good game design, it's a good business.
The only real question is whether Valorant can maintain this momentum when the honeymoon
period ends.
What if-
Well Valorant came out in 2020, it's been 6 years.
I think we're well past the honeymoon.
It's just really really good at being shiny and new.
Level 7.
Wait, that's the reasoning for why it's a level 6 instead of a level 7 is it has to
go past the honeymoon?
We're 6 years in, hello?
We're well past it.
Well, there was something about Overwatch beforehand, Overwatch crashed and burned within three.
Actually, Overwatch League crashed and burned within two and a half, so like, we're well past that one.
When the video came out eight months ago.
It's eight months ago. We're well past it, so I don't know about that one.
Counter-Strike.
Yeah, okay, so like, this better be the craziest reasoning of all time because
it's just basically so that everything they did better than this.
They arrive at the final boss. Counter-Strike isn't just a game.
It's a competitive religion that's been converting believers for over two decades.
From 1.6's CPL tournaments to sources, Breathe Detour to global offensive major dominance,
to CS2's walkie-rosselection, this franchise has survived engine changes,
meta-evolutions, rostered dynasties, and countless CS killers that now popular gaming
graveyards. The numbers are simply untouchable. CS2 launch pulled 1.8 million concurrent players.
PGL Major Stockholm 2021 peaked at 2.7 million viewers across all platforms.
And the Paris Major 2023 sold out Arena 9000 seats in under 20 minutes. This isn't regional success,
this is global cultural dominance spanning literal decades.
Yeah, don't get me wrong. CS has definitely got the biggest numbers. I mean, it's been around for like 20, 20 plus years, right?
And I'm not trying to argue with that. Like it's probably well deserved, but that said though, like
That's maybe part of the beauty of CS in a lot of ways where it doesn't update
it's the same type of game every day and that was like what the standard was like most games that come out today are now on the
Content treadmill. They have to keep up like they just release new stuff. That's that's what they're good at
Right CS has never been that like since the beginning you always just knew what you were getting into
And also like maybe I'm wrong on this, but I think CS is actually pretty easy to run like as a game, right?
So like CS is a huge
Global audience while like a lot of games are only really big
In Europe America and maybe in Asia, right?
Or sorry in Asia. I mean like Korea China, right? Like Russia has a huge population of players for CS like I don't know about
like the Middle East and maybe like in Africa and South America South America probably was
fucking crazy actually if I remember correctly so you can just play you can play CS on like a
toilet you know and be good to go so maybe CS2 is a little bit tougher I don't know what the whole
CS2 thing my no CS go ran exceptionally well so like I feel like that's kind of maybe their biggest
advantage you know but statistics don't capture what makes Counter Strike truly special it's the
The purest test of FPS skill that exists.
No abilities to bail you out, no random environmental destruction, no hero swapped mid-round, no

Just positioning, raw mechanical aim, economy management and tactical execution refined
over 20 plus years of competitive evolution.
Just think about simples jumping double from cash, cold zero's mirage quad kill, devices
timing, get wet clutches.
These moments transcend gaming and become genuine sports history.
The game creates legends, not just good players, Navi, Astralis, SK Gaming, Fnatic...
So just because something's been around for a long time, does that make it the best?
That's the question I want to pose, because like, now we're saying like, it's historically
the best, because it has so many hype moments and right now, and it's like, absolutely,
right?
Like, but that's like saying Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the best game of all time,
it was arguably the most impactful Call of Duty. Everyone fucking played it. Everyone loved it.
Like, I can, it's very hard to find someone on the planet who had a really bad time with Call of
Duty monolover too, right? But like, does that make it the best game of all time? It created
legends of cod? Like, no, I don't think it makes it the best game ever. You know, like, I think it's
a great game. It was a great game for its time. I don't think it holds up anymore. I'm not saying
CS is that, but like, I think it's a little bit of a different type of.
NIP, these Orange's teams, they're dynasties with legitimate claim to the athletic greatness.
Here's why CS has survived when every competitor has faltered. It respects its own fundamentals.
Updates are incremental, not revolutionary. The core AK spray pattern hasn't changed since 1999,
and that consistency is a feature, not a bug. Players can invest 10,000 hours into perfecting
their craft without worrying that next month's patch will make their muscle memory obsolete.
Even CS2's disastrous launch, broken hip-track, missing features, community revolt, couldn't kill
the scene. The competitive ecosystem was so robust that players just adapted and kept grinding.
Major- Oh yeah, I mean, I just saw quite a-
Coney still sold out, pro-salary, state-stable, and Valve slowly fixed the issues while the
scene proved its own resilience. That's the power of untouchable legacy.
But I can tell you right now, that someone on the other side, I saw people bitching for months,
and it wasn't like they weren't fucking crying and screaming and screaming in their pants,
they hated it. You might still hate it.
You can stumble without falling. Counter-Strike doesn't just sit at the top of competitive FPS.
It is competitive FPS, the standard against which every other tactical shooter is measured
and found wanting.
I don't know, from the reasoning it sounds like Valorant should be number one.
Watch out. Here's what separates the pretenders from the champions.
Longevity built on competitive integrity, not marketing budgets, or viral moments.
The games at the top didn't get there by accident.
They earned their position by proving they can sustain professional ecosystems that
outlast hardware generations, meta shifts, and changing social media algorithms.
Counter-Strike dominates because it's proven it can evolve without losing its soul.
The fundamentals that made 1.6 compelling still drive CS2's competitive scene.
That's not stagnation, that's perfection of form.
Valorant represents the hungry challenger with superior infrastructure, but shorter history.
It's doing everything right from a business perspective.
But business success doesn't automatically equal competitive legacy.
Time will tell whether by-
Well, depending on like- hang on, hang on.
So, because it's older and more legacy, that means it's better?
I don't- see, you can see that's where the logic falls apart.
You know what I mean?
Like, you can't say it's doing everything but better,
or just as good if not better, but it just- it's not old enough so you can't win, haha.
I just- that doesn't sound right.
This corporate approach can generate the organic passion that keeps CS alive across decades.
On the other hand, Siege carved out its tactical niche and owns it completely, building genuine
competitive respect for pure complexity rather than accessibility. Overwatch proved that a
corporate- Yeah, and having an opinion is totally fine. I'm just saying, I'm like, by the law of

Money can't buy lasting years for the legitimacy. You need grassroots competitive-
Okay, okay, okay, start to piss me off a little bit. The Overwatch thing, they weren't just trying
to buy it. They did, that did happen, but that's not what killed it. Like, what killed it was the
the greed of trying to get the money back from buying it. That's what happened, like
realistically that's legitimately what happened. Also what happened was Bobby Connick and Jeff
Kaplan were at odds and were fighting each other. That's also what happened. I think
I don't think it's even a doubt.
I think that Overwatch is mechanically,
and just like to be the best, like champion one,
arguably one of the hardest FPS games on the planet,
if not the.
I'm actually trying to think what would be harder.
Like you can't just be,
like you can learn an Overwatch right now with cheats.
Like legitimately you can't miss a shot,
and you can't, I bet you can't hit rank one.
You would never do it.
Even if the Overwatch team was like,
yeah sure, keep your cheats, you wouldn't do it.
You wouldn't get there.
You literally could.
Maybe you're convinced that Halo's force is...
You could literally not as a single shot, you still wouldn't get there.
Like as you should carry more...
You have walls, you still wouldn't get there.
...than the current numbers.
So here is my challenge.
Ranked it is...
Rock-a-league?
Rock-a-league's not an FPS.
Seven games yourself.
But defend your rankings with more than nostalgia and visual thinking.
Consider competitive integrity,
kill scenes,
eubing experience,
professional sustainability and cultural impact.
Factor in whether your favorite game will still have
driving scene in five years, or if it'll be a footnote in some future, remember when article.
The comment section is waiting. Let's see what you've got. And remember, passionate
disagreement is the highest form of competitive respect.
That's true. Okay, I kind of, I kind of, that's actually kind of a based, based ending. Like,
yeah, obviously everyone's allowed to have their own opinion. Like I personally think
that I'll watch as a little low, although understandable from making this video perspective,
having all the details perfectly, but also things
have changed in the last two years a lot.
Also, that said, I think that 6 and 7 with Valorant and CS
probably are a little bit shaky as well.
But you know what, honestly, outside of the bias,
that was actually a pretty good video.
That was pretty good.
Obviously, very clearly more of a Valorant attack shooter
bias than the other games, because they don't totally know.
So, yeah, that was pretty good.
Okay, cool.
Alright, what else do we got?
Any other good vids in here?
Let me take a look.
Well, I've gotten linked this one a bunch of times.
It's an hour long though.
This was this one. It's an hour long. Do I really want to come in an hour to this?
Let me see.
Let me see if we got anything else in here that's interesting.
What's this one?
It's Kelski Vid.
Oh, that's a good looking one.
That's a very good looking one.
What else?
If you want to know what I'm looking at, there's a flat, it's shown on my Discord called
Flats for Acts.
That's what I'm scrolling through right now.
Let's look at the videos you guys have been submitting.
this one. No. Okay, just for the thumbnail one, I clicked on it. So in company decisions
the backfired horribly. The thumbnail of this one is the, do you not have phones?
What else have we got?
Oh yeah, I had this one saved. Oh, this one, this one I had saved actually.
I forgot it's still in here. This video is different at 360p.
Wait, I'm actually kind of interested in this one, but I'm worried about the flickering.
Hey, I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick.
I'll be back in one second, okay?
You're back.
you
Alright, dude you guys have linked this to me so many times I forgot that I had it so
I'm going to watch it now.
This video is different at 360p, so should I go with 360p now or just let it run?
Let's let it run at first, see what happens.
This is the quality at which you are currently watching this video.
Or at least on a p- Lower.
Approximation.
If lower?
Lower?
Lower?
Wait, this is lower, doesn't it?
What?
If you're seeing the text 1080p, then you might be watching at either 720p, or indeed 1080p, depending on whether the text is striped.
But if you instead see the word lower, then you're likely watching this at one of the lower resolutions.
And if you check the timeline near the current part of the video, you should see an entirely different bit of text.
Now, depending on the device...
Subscribe?
I still say subscribe.
What?
What?
What?
The vice you're using and the properties of your display, some of these effects might
not be as clear as the rest.
And if you're watching this well into the future, some of the tricks used here might
be broken for one reason or another.
So let's not waste time with crude demonstrations and instead take a look at how all of this
works in the first place.
We'll start by taking a look at YouTube's list of quality settings.
Each entry is named after its resolution, but for 720 and 1080p there's an additional
number showing the framerate.
For all of the other entries, their framerate is half of the maximum, which in this case
is 30.
In case you don't know what these terms mean, here's a quick refresher.
The resolution represents the amount of pixels on the screen, while the framerate represents the amount of times...
Sorry, I know it's framerate. I mean, bandwidth that's why they're on the lower one, so that you can watch videos in case your internet sucks.
Of course, this isn't entirely accurate due to factors like bitrate and refresh rate, but in general, resolution refers to image quality, while framerate refers to smoothness of motion.
Now, remember, our goal is to make one video file show something different based...
This is going to be 60 for framerate and 30 for the other one, and then that's how they're different.
These two factors are pretty much the only way to distinguish that.
More specifically, the video file gets uploaded to YouTube at the highest possible quality,
and gets compressed the further down you go.
Normally, video compression removes detail from the video,
but our goal is to somehow make it so that new information is added when the quality is reduced.
To get an idea for how something like this could work, let's look at the simplest example,
which focuses on just the frame rate for now.
That means you have to like put like some like less frames, like a couple frames here and there, right?
Of that of that image so that way we can see it, right?
A clip that started at 60 frames per second
Right, 60 FPS is too fast.
...just 30 at lower quality settings.
YouTube does this by simply dropping every other frame.
Normally this just means that the video playback gets a bit choppier.
But what if we stored our video in only the dropped frames?
This way, at 60fps, you can still see the original clip, albeit with some flickering,
while at 30fps, it disappears entirely.
I've- what?
How did you figure out, though?
Hitting a video file with such specific conditions is a move not a straightforward process.
After all, if I were to simply weave together individual frames in a video editor,
it would take me hours to cover just a minute of footage.
Naturally.
Wait, do you think it's still, right now, gonna look different?
The solution was to write some code.
In this case, that's a Python script that takes two images as an input
and produces an interleaved video as the output.
Scripts like these were very important throughout this project.
And frankly, every other project on this channel has relied...
Dude, for half a second, I thought this was Marbler.
Well, with like a voice changer now, because I've seen...
He had so many videos that looked just like this.
It has marbler uploaded in a while dude. I miss that which is something that you too can master with the sponsor of this video
Okay, w-spawn sir. I want to skip ahead
It's serious or the QR code on screen percent all of this impossible an idea of how something like this is even possible in the first place
But it doesn't quite get us to the solution just yet
If all we're doing is interleaving frames then not only does the flicker get kind of annoying
but it also doesn't explain how we get a custom message at 30 FPS.
So they had to insert, you know, insert frames then.
If we tried drawing something on those other frames,
the 60 FPS playback would now blend and blur the two shapes to get that.
Oh, well, I guess not.
We could try to work around this by subtracting the unwanted frame from the desired output,
creating a sort of optical illusion that cancels out certain parts of the image.
But this makes the flicker even worse.
Yeah, okay.
Video at any point could expose the image that we're trying to hide
So clearly this isn't the full solution and okay act as we go back to the demonstration at the beginning of the video
And step through it frame by frame you'll notice that there's definitely a lot more going on
especially at 1080p
2524
First seeing the text 1080p. Wait, hang on. What's the frame button is this one?
Oh, I can see the lower.
Oh, did it like, do they intentionally blur it?
Also, what time was I at?
Oh, fuck, I don't remember.
It was like 5.20, right?
Through it, frame by frame, you'll notice that there's definitely a lot more going on,
especially at 1080p.
To understand this, we'll have to take a look at the other factor, that is resolution.
A feeling down a video might seem like a fairly simple task, just to boost the amount of pixels in the frame.
But what's not so simple is figuring out which pixels to keep.
If you're going from 1920 by 1080 to 640 by 360, then that's 3 times fewer pixels per axis.
Or 9 times fewer total.
This means that a 3 by 3 grid of pixels would get condensed down to just one pixel.
You could do this by arbitrarily picking one of the pixels in the grid and drawing that,
but then you're effectively discarding most of the information, which might misrepresent
the actual contents of that area. Instead, the most common way to do this is to average the color
value of the whole area. This seems to be the approach that YouTube uses, and it's often the
best balance between speed and practice. Regardless of how you do it, this is a destructive process
with an unavoidable caveat, one output can have multiple inputs. For example, a perfectly
monotone kernel will obviously come out to a pixel of the same color, but a noisier area
with a distinguishable pattern could still average out to that same color. Mathematically,
this makes sense, but if you surround the noisy pattern with a solid background, then even though
they average to the same color, you can clearly spot the pattern at full resolution. It's also
Also worth noting that some patterns are more visible than others.
A checkerboard or grid might feel very noisy and contrasting close up.
But when you zoom out, your eyes start to blur it together.
However, regular patterns like straight lines are easier to see, even at small scales, because
your brain is less likely to filter that information as noise.
And the choice between horizontal and vertical lines also matters.
On certain displays, changes in viewing angle can impact which pixels you see.
This effect is most noticeable if the offset axis is perpendicular to the lines.
In other words, horizontal lines permit vertical view offset.
I figured that it's probably far less likely that you're watching this with your screen
turned to the side.
Unless there are multiple people sat around the same screen but...
745.
Nope, looks the same to me.
You're watching this with your screen turned to the side.
Unless there are multiple people sat around the same screen but I'll take my chances.
It is far more likely, however, that you're watching this on a phone, a laptop, or a TV that isn't exactly eye level.
And because of this, I chose the vertical stripe pattern.
So then, to draw an image using this trick, we can take a mask of the intended shape and
use it as a reference for the placement of the 3x3 kernels. So again, if you're watching this at
anything other than 1080p, then the pattern probably just disappeared. But if you are watching a
1080p, then you should see a reasonably clear image of that same mask.
Now, 3 pixels is actually a very small quantity, and it's possible that even if you're watching
this at 1080p, other factors like the size of your browser window, or the orientation
of your phone, or even the settings on your TV might impact the visibility of the proper
camera.
Well just that, I decided to combine this trick with the previously mentioned frame interleaving
trick, placing the original mask on every odd frame to make it show up only at 60fps.
This also reduces the flick...
Oh my god, you do the opposite, so the removed frames is where you put...
Kerr, because 1080...
This tiny part of the image is always visible.
But it still doesn't solve our earlier problem of getting an image to show up exclusively
for lower resolutions.
Right now, we can get a pattern to show up for 1080p, but at any other resolution, nothing
shows up.
Maybe it's like every other...
Which because, again, downscaling is a destructive process.
actively losing information at lower settings. So to make a custom image show up at a lower quality,
we'd have to find a way to somehow reveal new patterns by dropping information.
At first, I tried creating a field of high contrast white noise, where some kernels
contained one white pixel more than the rest. The idea was that when this is scaled down,
the noise would average out, and the result would be a clean image. And while yes, that did work,
you can also clearly see the pattern at 1080p. The grain is just very good at finding such patterns,
even though the difference is just one pixel per kernel. So, okay, let's take a step back and
approach the problem from a different angle. What characteristics are unique to low-quality images?
Sure, you can talk about pixel counter yet not, but more generally,
high-quality images are sharper than their low-quality counterparts. You can express this
more formally as the frequency of details decreasing as you go down. For example, think
back to the times that you've seen a weird looking cloud in the sky and thought, hey,
if I squint hard- This is the kind of stuff I watch at 4am when I have to heat it up in
three hours.
It kind of looks like a puppy. And if you only had the blurred version of that picture,
you might as well associate that with a child's painting of a dog, whereas at full quality,
It's obvious that these are clouds.
The point is, that is an example of a case where lower image quality actually reveals
more information.
Applying this to our problem, you can imagine that if our pattern had some blurry text in
the background, it would be harder to make it out than the much more clearly visible
foreground pattern.
And the brain is lazy, so it'll almost always choose to interpret the thing that it sees
first.
But, if you remove the high-frequency foreground pattern, it has no choice but to focus on
the low-frequency background.
Of course, this optical illusion isn't as strong as the rest, so you do have to be
a bit clever in how you use it.
The word lower was chosen deliberately, because it aligns perfectly with the characters in
the foreground text.
L is very similar in shape to 1, just with an extra leg.
O is the same shape as 0, W fits in the lower half of the 8.
E can be rounded down to fit mostly within the second zero, and R is again the same shape as P, just with an extra leg.
When layered on top of the line pattern on only even frames, it becomes nearly invisible at 1080p,
but at 360p, it is the only visible thing remaining.
Now, all that's left to discuss is how I got the timeline to show something that's completely different from any screen in the video.
While the techniques we've talked about so far have been rooted in optical illusions and steganography,
this next part involves an exploit hidden in the video file itself.
You see, while putting together this video, I ran a lot of tests on an alt-account to determine how exactly YouTube handles different kinds of video files.
Specifically, I was looking for a way to make the 60 and 30-
Like as a content creator, you have to do this if you want a thumbnail on YouTube Shorts?
Yes, yes, streams capture a completely different set of frames.
frames. For example, if you uploaded a 90 FPS video, there would technically be enough room to
assemble two distinct 60 and 30 FPS clips with no overlap. So, I was basically hoping to find some
way to trick YouTube into doing this. Unfortunately, what I found indicates that YouTube first
transcodes the video to 60 FPS or below, and then takes every other frame from the result of that.
This guarantees that the low-quality and high-quality video streams both contain the same content.
And it's also probably much cheaper for YouTube to reprocess their compressed version instead of the original material.
But there is one place where they do seem to be using the original clip.
The timeline.
You see, the average MP4 file doesn't just contain screenshots of every video frame.
No, that would take up far too much space.
So, instead, videos consist of three types of frames.
Eye frames, B frames, and B frames.
I thought eye frames was only a video game thing.
I did not know that was an actual...
Eye frames are traditionally considered a full frame, or a key frame.
They contain full image data for the entire screen,
and are best-of-all used in video editing, too.
I did not know that was a thing in video editing, too.
...type that in the average video file.
B frames, on the other hand, contain only the differences from the last frame.
This naturally enables far better compression,
but also means that they cannot stand on their own.
And finally, B-frames can contain information from both past and future frames.
These compress even better, but are a lot more complicated to decode.
If you're a YouTube engineer looking to extract a re-
That made all the sense to me, I understand that.
A result of Timeline Preview as cheaply as possible,
it might be tempting to simply extract the iframes without doing any actual video processing.
But you also shouldn't trust these iframes fully.
It is entirely possible to create a video that consists of just B-frames, with only a single
iFrame at the very beginning. So if it seems like the iFrames are particularly unreasonable,
it makes sense to re-encode the video first. Of course, I can't know for certain that this
is the process that YouTube uses, but my testing indicates that it's likely pretty close.
So, as you might suspect, the key to exploiting this is to maybe create a unique
I frames among I guess that's not a question for me. That's a question for you
There are going to be dropped when it gets re-encoded to 60 FPS if the new iFrames are sensible enough
YouTube may choose to extract them directly before they get completely removed from the final video
Now if I make this boss a sound fragile
Well, that's because it is if any of these tricks fails over time
I'm willing to bet that this will be the first one to go all it takes is for YouTube to really shit
So go from 120, so because you start at 120, YouTube will drop it to 60, so that's what
you put the subscribe message, and then you take the 60 and you drop it to 30 and that's
how you get the, oh my god wait.
No one.
You just use the YouTube's built-in editing tool might ruin it.
So here's hoping I don't have to blur or cut anything out of this video.
Anyway, now you know how I set up that demonstration at the beginning.
But to be clear, this isn't the only way to do it.
Technically there is a way to show two completely different video streams, but it comes with a few caveats
Let's come back to that frame interleaving method from earlier
The problem with this one was that the 60 FPS stream would invariably contain frames from both clips
However, assuming a 60 hertz display, the viewer can choose to filter out half of the frames by doubling the playback speed
But there are-
I hadn't thought to try that.
two major issues with this.
First, that 60Hz clause is a pretty big assumption.
Many of you are likely watching this on way faster displays, doubling the playback rate
wouldn't change which frames you see.
But perhaps more importantly, it also doesn't actually remove any frames from the video.
All it does is simply doubles the time step between frames.
So not only is it impossible to guarantee that you're starting on the correct frame,
It's also possible for the time step to desync if the playback covers stutters, thus randomly
changing which clip you see.
Here, I'll let you see for yourself.
In just a moment, if you're watching at 30 FPS, you'll see a 30-second speedrun of the
map ceiling-cadipled from Portal 2.
But if you're watching at 60 FPS and 60 Hz at 2x playback rate, you might see the same
run sped up, or you might see a 15-second run of pit flings, or some combination of the
two.
If you're watching at any other configuration, you'll likely see a flickering mess.
You've been warned.
Wait, do you guys see the flickering mess on the right?
Just curious, because I saw that.
Do you guys see this over here?
And if you're watching at any other, does anyone not see it?
You'll likely see a.
Does anyone not see the flickering mess on the side?
He hasn't done it yet.
Oh, oh, it's just the demo.
Okay.
All right, I'm gonna say, wait, there's no way.
OK, I really love.
OK, flickering mass, you've been warned.
OK, hang on, seizure warning.
If you're sensitive to flashing lights,
you probably should not see this part.
OK, just a warning.
Ah! Ah! Ah! I see like seven things! What do you guys see? What the fuck do you guys
see? Ah! I'm seeing so many things at once! I feel like I'm looking into the future! I
I see like 4 different videos at the same time!
Thanks to Burger40 for the gameplay clips.
Now, obviously, this approach is a lot...
Wait, if I watch on like my phone or something, do you think I'd see the same thing?
...closer to what you might expect from this kind of project.
But the general inconsistency and hardware...
You put it at 2x speed just for the test?
Okay, here we go again, one more time chat, okay?
It's gonna be... it's gonna be flickery, I think.
Okay, I'm gonna get I'm gonna get an actual fucking headache if I
Let's go back
Thanks to burger 40 for the gameplay clips. I'm on a phone and my TV. It's the same yours TV could be 120 Hertz though
I guess
Change the frame rate it is it's on 60
Now, obviously, this approach is a lot closer to what you might expect from this kind of project.
It's so smooth on 360? Hold on, let me go to 360, actually.
Good call.
Oh my god, guys.
It just looks like normal gameplay.
Now at 2x speed?
It looks fucking normal. That's crazy. That is actually unbelievable
The gameplay clips now obviously this approach is a lot closer to what you might expect from this kind of project
But the general inconsistency and hardware assumptions are the main reasons why I ended up going for an otherwise far more
What's with all the portal creators being fucking nuts?
What?
Marvel does the same shit he was a portal guy?
Complicated and less flashy demonstration for the intro.
I also tried uploading at 4k at high frame rates and a bunch of other stuff.
So I'm pretty confident that I haven't missed anything major.
If you think I have, let me know in the comments.

Dude, that was a sick video. Hang on. What's it say down here?
On mobile quality does not change instantly. If it doesn't work, wait a bit. Rewind, try again.
What was the conclusion of this video from my own testing?
said many times in the video, your experience may be based on hundreds of different factors.
I can't reasonably test every device and screen out there. Mobile devices are especially likely
to misbehave. Here, that said, I think you missed something or technical details that
got terribly wrong. Let me know.
HDR video, interlaced video. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, YouTube doesn't natively
support interlaced video. Enhanced bit rate. I don't think it really does anything. Can
you polish the script? She may even make this. I'd rather not. Sorry, they're very messy
and highly specific this video, adapting them to anything else or figuring out how they work
is about as much work as trying to make a new script.
Can we- oh, wow. Dude, holy shit. Dude, that was a fucking awesome video. Dude, the portal
nerds are actually scary beings, though. Real talk.
That'll be a video, though. Holy shit. That was awesome.
Okay. Um, let me see. Is there anything else in here?
Let me look through the plant's clips area.
Where is it?
A BP montage? No. I have no desire in watching a BP montage. Also, be honest with me, is
that your video? Did you link me your own video? Brother. It very clearly says in there,
No self promo, like...
Brother.
I'll let it slide this time, but...
Okay.
But this...
Let me see.
This Kalski vid looks pretty good, but it's a little new.
I always like to weigh a little bit before I watch new videos, just because I don't want
like insta-yoynket, you know?
What else have we got?
Hmm...
Sorry
Why are they guys usually guys link are like an hour long you know, I'm like I don't really want to commit to an hour
And now there's a pretty long video
Unless it's like something that's like super super super interesting. We're like we're all like hell. Yeah, let's do that, you know
Oh, wait this one just got recommended, what is this?
Oh, it's another speed video.
Wait, is this guy always upload videos like this?
Who watched one the other day?
It's actually a good video, but I don't know if I...
Okay, let me grab it.
I'll put it off to the side.
Dude, my algorithm actually just kicked in.
I'm looking at videos from chat reacts, like chat links me to videos and like we watch
them on stream and I have a section of my Discord called Flats Reacts.
Let me see.
You guys are all looking at like rabble stuff and all raw stuff and I'm like, I kinda like
to skip those.
Hold this one.
Hmm.
It's okay.
How about...
Let me see, let me see, let me see, let me see.
is this one? China went to war with sparrows and lost?
Wait, what is this?
Oh, what is this one?
This one's actually good.
Oh, it looks good.
What is this?
Okay, what do you guys link this before?
Okay, what what do you guys link this video?
This one right here, and I wanted to show you guys the thumbnail
Without like going back through discord
It's like like
That's a funny ass thumbnail or a video of the bird peanut is a recession into what does
that even mean?
What does it even mean?
Also, they're all like streamer videos.
Curse of building something too big, the cost of becoming jinksy.
I bet this is a really good video actually.
Dude, okay.
Can I say something really quick?
I've like kind of low key realized with time that becoming like the biggest
streamers like on the planet like 20, 30, 40, 50, 70,000, 80,000 viewers is almost
impossible unless that's literally the only thing you do.
Actually, that's why I wanted to watch this one because I was like it case was
such an anomaly to that.
But like all of all like the new gen like phase and all that stuff, like they
just are on stream 24 seven, like everything in their life is content,
content content all day long and it's never not and so like Jinxies I think
has not missed a stream day in like almost two years he's like one and a
half day or one and a half years like that's crazy like crazy to think about
at the other at me if this video is good let's watch that one another time
alright let's walk in the last honest streamer for whatever reason the
internet loves the spectacle the bigger it is the louder it is the more
expensive it looks the better it performs look at the top of twitch right now
It's flooded with million-dollar mansions, celebrity sub-a-thon, streamers buying their
10th dream car, everything seems to be built around the question that how much money can
we burn on camera?
And then there's this guy.
I was gonna say that is like sort of true, but I also feel like it depends on like what
your audience is.
Like I feel like, uh, like especially a lot of the younger audience loves to see that
kind of stuff, you know?
Kaseo is interesting because on paper he's doing almost everything wrong.
His production quality is kind of garbage.
So where'd he come from 200,000 years playing full guys yesterday? Yeah, wasn't even zoomed in or cropped his setup isn't designed
You know, what's actually funny dude
I wouldn't so like he like built like a like a like a
Warehouse or something he swapped his stream set up for a little bit
And I feel like ever like I saw some people talking like oh
I missed the old one already and then he just went right back smartest thing I've ever seen like if I if I mean
Honest with you chat if I was to tell a new streamer coming up today
I would tell you even if you moved houses like if you went from like your small apartment to your like multi-million dollar home
You should rebuild your apartment in the house
Like you should rebuild it like completely like make it look almost the exact same because like people if not stay there
Or hell build by the house and then keep the apartment and like stream only out of the apartment for some reason
You can actually see this with many many many shimmers
Calm confused. Let me explain. There's a lot of people that
that they, okay, if they change their camera,
their aesthetic, the background, et cetera,
like they start to lose that connect that they already had.
There's other rumors I could say
that I think of this immediately,
where it's like they could be making millions,
but as long as like their aesthetic on camera
and like their setup and all that stuff stays the same,
like people will never,
People don't really think of it that way,
but if they change over, even if they're the exact same person,
exact same stuff, like with maybe a better camera
and a better set up or more like a bigger room behind them,
people like for some reason subconsciously start to think
like, oh, this guy is not the same guy I used to watch,
you know, Asmongold, I think actually,
I think you're on the money actually with that one.
There's, I think one of the smartest things,
I thought he was a new creator and I blew up tomorrow,
I would tell you just never change your setup,
Like, don't even move.
Like, if you were in an apartment, great.
Like, you want to buy a house, great.
Like, buy it near that apartment
and stream out of the apartment.
Travel back there and stream.
Be some massive content machine.
Half the time he's live, he's playing.
I mean, for me, personally, it's already too late.
Like, I've moved multiple apartments.
There's no saving me now.
It's over.
A random game most people would never even heard of.
Your costume sucks, kid.
I mean, when your entire job is getting people to watch you,
you don't turn down a Mr. Beast video.
But, Keiso.
Keiso did not respond to this.
And somehow, despite doing all the stuff that those creators were supposed to do, he's still one of the biggest streamers on the planet.
How does that-
It says he's authentic.
Just does what he wants.
The honest answer is none of this should have worked.
Because Keiso's had the odds stacked against him since day one.
Keis Baker grew up in rural Arkansas.
His hometown has a population just over 1,500.
It's the kind of place where a new Walmart makes the front page, and where the churches outnumber the stoplights.
But towns like that don't have a lot going on.
So as a quiet kid, Keis did what quiet kids in the quiet towns have always done.
He disappeared into a screen in this case of PlayStation all the beauty on repeat
And when YouTube started blowing out them at early 2010s
He was right there watching a shot in the optic guys built something they didn't exist at Delta earlier
He watched gaming damn the thing you did after school into an actual career
Also, I just realized are we getting DMCA to all hell right now? I just listen I was just hearing the music in the background
Is this DMC apocalypse?
Oh well.
The biggest thing was burying their parents' annual salaries in a single weekend, and after
watching that it became Casey's dream job.
Too late now.
The problem was he knew the odds, especially in his situation.
His wi-fi was barely good enough to even watch YouTube.
Uploading to it or streaming on Twitch, forget it.
So he buried it.
Damn, that's like me right now.
Just kidding.
He graduated high school, he's a cancer.
He's between jobs, so often working two at a time just to keep the lights on.
for six years. Six years of clocking in somewhere he didn't want to be. Six years of watching
other guys his age blow up online doing the exact same thing he'd given up on.
True.
By the end of it, case was broke. Burnout. He was one bad week away from walking into
a cruders office and signing up for the military. And his mom stepped in. And she asked him
the question and she changed everything.
I feel that actually though.
I'm gonna take a little shot at the whole streaming thing. What's the worst that happens?
So cool. That's actually so cool.
I had.
I said, I'm not trying to make a sob story, but I did not have that experience.
My my my family was very against it.
Very much was against the whole idea.
And so that's fucking cool.
Honestly, that's so nice.
One of the most competitive W mon.
And if you're like case trying to pursue a full time, you need to understand
there's levels to this.
Level one, you can quit your job.
Level 2 you're living large and at level 3 you're the top 1% of the top 1%.
No, there's no direct translation from twitch viewers to money. So for the sake of the example
we're gonna say you reach 100 viewers. Once you're there you can take the
sake of the example we're gonna say you reach level 1 at around 100 viewers. Once you're there
you can take the leech. I don't think you can quit your job at 100 viewers. I don't think so at all.
Okay, to give you an idea, I can say quite confidently,
I at one point was like, I used to, okay, for those don't know,
I used to have this guy named bias, he worked for me.
He was a literal data analyst.
He just wanted to learn about video game stuff, right?
Actually funny enough, we're talking about that.
Now he works for, you know what I'm not gonna say who,
but he works for fucking massive YouTuber now.
And the funny thing is he did market research on Twitch
with me, and I was at one point
from between sub to viewer ratio to like followers
and all this stuff, I was the third highest
on the entire platform where like,
I was like someone between 100 and 300 viewers
and I was averaging like two to like three
to almost 4,000 subs.
It was crazy.
I had such a supportive community
and I still do to this day.
Like I like genuinely always say,
I have always had such a nice super supportive community
and I appreciate you guys a ton.
But like when I was like that small,
like it was getting hard backpacked.
It was insane.
Like there was like 10 people that allowed me
to basically like live, which was insane.
And I can tell you right now, that is not the norm.
That is not the norm at all.
And that I think you probably, with today's switch,
where you have like ads and stuff,
it's probably closer to like 400 viewers.
And it depends if you're doing YouTube and stuff.
So if you get YouTube spun up,
and you get TikTok spun up,
You probably could get away with a little bit less, but like, 100 is not high enough, depending on where you live as well.
Full time.
I live in Massachusetts, expensive as fuck here.
Getting there sounds totally reasonable.
It's not.
Somehow convincing 100 people to watch you live is brutal.
In the past year, 18.4 million people opened up Twitch and broadcasted live on the platform.
I want you to guess how many of them actually made it to level 1.
Seriously, there's no number out there.
The answer is 165,536.
That's less than 1%.
For every person who gets to level one, there's a hundred that don't.
Every big streamer you see today spent days, weeks, if not months,
streaming to an audience of zero. I mean, take Jinxie for a day.
He streamed to just five years for a year and a half before he ever made it.
Which is crazy. Honestly, that level of dedication is insane.
And you know what's kind of sad though?
It's like, dude, it does really feel like there's some luck involved, you know?
And I think that your chances of luck go up the more you show up and the more you
post and the more you're there every day, but like
I'm throwing all of these numbers at you for a reason because without them you wouldn't understand how truly insane what happens next is
Okay, so hate to interrupt myself here, but let's say you're like case. Oh and don't love your day job
Maybe you're not all that interested in streaming, but you've got a business idea and just don't know this is a W
Is this an ad let me tell you about what?
Okay, while you're working so I don't you add business today
WM 24 hours y'all took me from nothing to crazy all the 2k
So hit level one in the first hour of his first ever stream and he did so many streams came streamers came from Tuesday
I can't do deep from the top man in the days before he went live for the first time
And case it was already laying the ground water. You know what sucks now, dude
I think he's probably gonna talk about it in here
I think a lot of cases like blob was from tick tock and like he's the stream on tick tock to
So, TikTok and TikTok streaming now is so fucking bad, it is so bad.
I've tried to be like, you know, more on top than streaming more on TikTok.
It is falling off the cliff.
I don't even think he streams on TikTok anymore.
Does Jinx even stream on TikTok anymore?
I don't even know if he does.
I feel like you can't even.
And on September 10th, 2022, he uploaded 22 videos to TikTok.
The next morning, he woke up to over 10,000 followers and a comment section floated with
one question.
So that night, he went live for the first time, and the floodgates opened.
When I look down, I see 126 viewers, bro, I cannot believe it.
From that day on, he followed the same routine.
Clock in to the 9-5, hit the second job, cut a few mauls, then come home and stream until
he couldn't keep his eyes open.
I can't, I wanna go to sleep, man, I wanna go to work, man.
I want another build, dawg.
All I wanna do is make builds and play 2K forever.
Why I gotta go work?
Play 2K.
You know what's really like amazing to say I know that feeling
No, I didn't have a job to call because it was COVID. Haha. I was already laid off
But like I know exactly what that feeling feels like right there when you start to see like the glimmer of hope of like wait
This is working. I could do this
And I'll tell you right now. It's a it's a blessing
The case so kept his head on straight what shows up overnight can also disappear
So before he quit his day job he needed fruit
This wasn't a fluke so he made a deal with his chat hit 5,000 twitch subs and he'd quit his job
This is the day we're gonna remember forever you feel me? This is the day we're gonna remember forever
You know, I love y'all man. Thank you, bro. It's all y'all. You feel me? Thank you man full-time case. I want to build it
And I'm laying in their mouth to within just a few weeks
It was a done deal and his fan base was new but dedicated and they wanted to see him pursue this thing full-time
Like I said, I've been dreaming of wanting to you know be a streamer a content creators. I was 13 years old
I finally took the lead broke. I finally took the lead
Now it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows from here his internet was still garbage like genuinely bad streams would lag or even just end because of the
connection bottomed out
I thought I had it bad that's real bad and when you're trying to vote an audience
That's the kiss of death if your stream ends they move on to the next
For months it looked like dude, I can't wait till I move chat
I'm gonna be honest with you guys.
It's so demoralizing when you're sitting there streaming.
Like, dude, you know what was the worst?
Season one of Overwatch release again,
you know what I mean, in February.
I was sitting pretty.
It was me, E-Mong, I think like Aspen,
for all the top of the category.
Dude, all the people coming running in.
They're like, oh my God, it's Overwatch back?
Like, what is this?
And my internet dies for 45 minutes.
Everyone left, everyone, no one, everyone,
like I came back and I was at like,
I was at like 5,000 viewers
As everyone was going on the way up, I think Emon got to like 30 or 20, Aspen was like
15 or actually I think Aspen was like 20, 30, Prague was like 15, I was at like two.
Cause like I was, I wasn't alive at the time.
I had everyone on the left, you know what I mean?
I got stuck there.
And then guess what happened?
Halfway through the day, it went out again, I feel like I started, I started catching
back like, oh, you came back online.
I thought you got off for the day.
I'm like, no, no, my internet died.
Guess what?
Died again.
It was awful.
That was like, that was a horrible day.
I've never been more sad than that day.
That really hurt me a lot.
Cause I was like, damn, like,
I was excited to hop back on.
Like, I hadn't been playing Overwatch that much recently.
You know, we were excited, you know, it was awful.
Maybe the whole thing wasn't for me.
Maybe the bubble had already popped.
You know, I've seen them now.
Wait, what happened?
I'm sorry.
They move on to the next.
Eventually numbers started slipping.
For a couple of months, it looked like
maybe the whole thing wasn't for me.
Maybe the bubble had already popped.
You know, I've seen the numbers when I very first started.
You know, the hype was there
I first blew up had like nine eight hundred viewers every night and I see it dip dip dip the like you know
100-150 I was like I gotta do something different. It's gonna go wonder then he picked up a different game Hogwarts legacy
It was kind of a weird choice and had a totally different audience from this is actually the first clips
I saw but he streamed it anyway clipped a moment. We posted it
I see the Sun peeking through the window a little bit
That one video alone pulled in over 18 million views.
Just like that, he's back.
Viewership climbs to 600.
Keeps climbing.
Month after month, every week another clip going viral.
Another wave of new viewers sparring strength of the stream.
The snowball was rolling in by May 2023, case it was averaging over 2500 viewers, a legitimate
name and strain culture. And this is level 2. At level 2 you're starting to get large.
You're in big boy money territory. At this point you're not going to benefit the whole
thing vanishes overnight. Yeah, DMCA popups are right, but working on
these trailers, Kaisal was sitting somewhere just inside the top 10000 strainers on Twitch.
Incredible by any measure, but remember, twitch is stacked top heavy. And when I say
top-heavy, I mean it.
True.
If you're not at the top of the category on Twitch, you're typically not growing.
But at the moment, there are about 3 million users on Twitch.
Dude, that's why just chatting is a danger zone.
Unless you've got like 30,000 viewers, you ain't growing in that category.
Chin content.
When you break down the viewer distribution by channel rank, the picture gets pretty clear.
Out of the millions of channels on the platform, the top 250 pull over half the viewership.
That's the difference between level 2 and level 3.
While it seems like the easiest jump on the ladder here, it's actually the most difficult.
There's a specific blueprint nearly every streamer has followed to make this jump.
Here, I'll break it down for you.
What you're looking at right now is five of the biggest streamers on the planet, each
at the moment they were averaging exactly 2,500 viewers.
Pay attention to the setups.
None of them are exciting.
The rims are pretty basic, the camera quality kinda sucks, there's no production bite,
they look like what they are.
Just guys streaming from their bedrooms.
Now fast forward to when those same streamers are pulling 10,000 viewers a night.
Everything's changed.
Everything's dialed in, the cameras are crisp, the rooms look intentional, this is the blueprint
kicking in, and-
But Ninja's looks the same though.
It all starts with one realization.
So does Aiden's.
At this level streaming isn't just a jo-
Okay, respectfully I disagree with this so much.
Not anymore.
It's a business.
And like a business, the goal is to make as much money as possible.
The internet, for whatever reason, creates a spectacle.
And the spectacle game is pretty easy to play.
You've kinda just gotta spend money to make money.
The setup is just the start.
Next comes the move to LA.
By the mansion, drop the I Just Bought My Dream car video, hire a dozen editors to pump
out clips around the clock.
By the time you're clearing- Wait, did I do it wrong?
Am I- Wait, hang on, I didn't drop the video on either of my cars.
Uh-oh.
50,000 viewers, it turns into an optimization race.
Every stream, every upload, every second of content is engineered to mope the cash cow.
The longer you stand at the top, the more efficient it becomes, and weirdly, the more
the internet praises you for it.
But the spectacle only works if people are still looking.
Relevancy is the- Where's the carpet?
I- I didn't make one.
I never made one.
The second your numbers dip, the money goes with it.
So you're forced to stay visible.
You hit the podcast circuit, impulsive on Monday and blank on Thursday.
You show up to every mainstream streamer event.
You become a permanent fixture in the conversation because the conversation is the product.
And the fastest way to stay in the conversation is to stand next to someone bigger than you.
Take those same five streamers and pull up their biggest streams of all time.
Ninja, Fortnite with Drake, Aimee Ross, the Donald Trump interview, HiSnap, and a brawn
stream that pulled over a million concurrent viewers.
That's the blueprint.
I'm not necessarily saying it's bulletproof or guaranteed, but he's kind of right though.
Yeah, he is kind of right.
It's the safe route.
Every student who's made it to the top 250 has run some version of that exact playbook
based on constant evolution, but Keso ignored this approach altogether.
His strategy is quite literally the opposite in just about every possible...
Yeah, that's what I was saying, he's just a suit anomaly.
The last time we talked about Keso, he was fresh off of Hogwarts averaging 2,500 viewers.
So let's run that same comparison from earlier and fast-forward to when he's at 10,000.
Not much has changed.
I mean, sure, he did buy a new house, but he moved from a trap house to a trailer just
across town.
Either way, at the end of the day, his computer monitor is still being held up with the vacuum
cleaner.
If I don't have the vacuum cleaner holding up the back of the monitor, it'll fall over.
And then back here are my PCs.
Wait, I've never seen this.
And the chemical...
Well, I actually, unironically, used to have a set of kind of like this in my old apartment.
Oh, and he seems to somehow have gotten worse.
Like my desk, my desk was like this long, like sorry, this wide, right?
And so like the monitor would be in front of me and then my keyboard was off to the side.
I had to put my desk against the wall because the monitor was like falling off the back.
That my strength wally is actually so crispy. It looks like it's in four days.
Since Hogwarts, he's continued to stream four to six nights a week.
Same time, same chat, rotating through whatever random games he feels like.
Supermarket Simulator, great. Dress to impress.
What is this?
Oh, I remember the dress to impress.
That clips, I used to see those.
Games a normal person wouldn't think to stream,
but then you watch for five minutes and you start to get it.
This is the funniest dude on the internet right now.
Just please, the most random green thing.
Okay, so where do you come from?
200,000 years playing Fall Guys yesterday.
Because the game isn't fun.
The chat isn't there for the games.
They're there to watch him fall out of his chair for the 10th time this month
and narrate it like he's describing a car accident.
To watch him get jump-scared by her fore again and scream at a volume that blows up the mind.
And that's why it worked.
By January of 2024, Kaisa was averaging over 50,000 confirmed viewers every single night,
Making him the number 3 ranch streamer on all of Twitch.
By every matchup he actually uses, Keso is underperforming.
He's leaving growth on the table at every possible turn.
He doesn't invest in new setups, he doesn't upgrade his gear, and has no real plan to
optimize himself.
Every analyst will tell you he could be 12 years old, but I think it's actually super
smart.
As the size he is, if he just ran the playbook like everyone else.
And honestly, they're probably right.
But here's the thing.
Kason never looked at any of that and felt like he was losing something.
Buying a house in the hills, pulling up in a supercar, collecting all the things that
say you've made it.
None of that ever seemed to be important to him.
And there's nothing wrong with warning those things.
No, I think it's actually the opposite.
I think he recognized that.
That is not what people were looking for.
And especially his audience.
A lot of creators go in with exactly that goal in mind, but K-So sits in this rare category of someone who actually reached the I Made It moment and genuinely doesn't want it.
It was never about like being huge, just like, because I, it didn't matter the money, you know, I just wanted to do what I loved for a living.
I could be, you know, pinching pennies to make it, but as long as I get to stream every day instead of go to work, I was cool with that, yeah.
But to be clear, it's not like he's allergic to money. He's the number three streamer on Twitch. The guy is doing just fine.
There's a difference between making money and squeezing every lesson out of your audience
He's never done any kind of cell phone
He doesn't say yes to every brand that comes knocking and he doesn't manufacture
CC's papers
The box way he sees it you can't leave money on the table if it was never what you say
Some of my most favorite jobs I ever had were the jobs Robert was making
Wait was that a stream did he go driving around the numbers of the holy fuck
He sees it you can't leave money on the table if it was never what you sat down for
Some of my most favorite jobs I ever had were the jobs where I was making pennies.
Yo, I'm not even finna like that.
Did you do a driving stream or did you just drove around?
Well, I think y'all just don't-
Wait, someone needs to super chat.
Why no Overwatch 10 year anniversary appearance?
What are you talking about?
I play- I was on Overwatch yesterday.
What do you mean?
I did more than my week's paycheck in one night.
I'm talking about sitting in the parking lot of the dollar store.
Having to call my mom be like, hey, can you spot me $50 for food for the rest of all the short? I just I just
Didn't send in anything
Dude, I'm not worried about twitch ad revenue
I would rather people have a good viewing experience than make an extra, you know
So that's the money half of the blueprint, but the blueprint isn't only about money,
the other half of the blueprint is relevancy.
The streaming world has a short memory, and the way you fight ads by staying in the conversation,
podcasts, events, collabs, it all comes down to the same idea.
Staying next to someone bigger than you and you get to share some of their spotlight.
if you thought he was underperforming on the money side of the blueprint, just listen to this.
In three years as one of the biggest streamers on the planet, he's done exactly one traditional
collab. Jinxy. What's the furthest you've ever traveled? Florida, and that was one time to go
to Jinxy's house. And that collab is almost worth the word, the only existing footage of K-So outside
of his own house. My friend. I think this is like one of Jinxy's most viewed videos of all time,
I remember right brought this up yesterday to me when we were chilling he said it's crazy that jeep see is
Literally has the only recorded footage of me outside of my own stream set up like he's the only one
That's got me out of my room matter of fact. It was crazy. I left the state. He was born
It's just I'll not be getting home sick I get away from home for too long. I'm just man. I don't know
And he doesn't like flying either, which I get.
I don't like flying either.
He hasn't shown up to a single one in person.
According to the blueprint, all of those things just come with the territory of being in the
top 1%.
But Kesa was avoiding all of it.
I kind of get that though. Dude, I've had so many things over the years where like
Unless I really want to go to something like I've had a couple like
Like go play test a game early get paid to go play test a game early and I'm like no I'm good
And like I don't I don't honestly I'm not that interested in your game
So like I'm not even if even for the money, I'm not I fly and I'm good
I could all not going to a war just trying to only the only time I've ever traveled for stuff is like overwatch stuff
Because like I was super involved with the game and super into it
it. It was anything else? I don't even know. I think we went to Nashville, but like, Nashville
was a much easier flight. Honestly, I was very nervous at first, but like after doing
it a couple of times, I don't feel that bad anymore.
Perhaps. Even the fact that he's only left the state of Arkansas once, you start to wonder
if there's more to it than just not caring.
All the shimmer words. Yeah, you're right. Shimmer words. I forgot about that. The first
one I went to because I felt like, dude, the first one I felt like I really had to go because
like I'd never been connected outside of like Overwatch stuff. And I was like, oh, I
I really should like everyone everyone I knew was like yeah, you need to go you need to go you need to go
And I went and do like it wasn't bad
But like dude I kind of like like low-key regretted it later
I was like dude I like I wasted my money wasted my time whatever and then the second one actually was much better
Because I was much more outgoing and met a lot more people
And also I had friends that were there which was a nice change
I actually knew a lot of people at the second one the second one like like super was there aspen was there bogey
sk shaking with me to
And I knew a bunch of people too, like just from like meeting and passing so that one was much better
I didn't tell you all this bro when I was changing setups to go
From the trap house into the trailer
I was literally a mental wreck for like a week straight
Because I don't anybody else has this
But dude, I have like some form of horrific OCD that I've had for years, that if something
even minor changes, I'm gonna die.
You see, OCD is one of the most misunderstood conditions out there.
People hear the word...
I know what he means.
I don't have anything like that, but I know what he means.
I have a hard time letting go of stuff.
And picture someone who just likes things clean and organized.
And while that can be a part of it, that's not exactly what it is.
At its core, OCD is anxiety.
For KSO, moving into a new house meant moving into an environment that was full of variables
his brain hadn't had the chance to map out yet.
Like when I take my hat off and put it on the counter, same spot every night.
If it goes in a different spot, I'm dead.
Everything becomes unpredictable and for s-
I do that with like my keys and stuff and my CPAP and my phone and stuff and nothing
like- nothing too bad and things.
One thing that can't be controlled.
Each unknown stacks on top of the last until his brain is sent into overdrive.
Nothing like that, nothing too bad.
Every time I would leave to work in the morning, I would go outside my house and I would have
to check that my doormob was locked 37 times.
I would have to start my drive to work, take a block back around in my house.
Oh, my mom's like that actually.
I would have to check it another 11 times and then I could go to work.
My mom's like that.
Which explains why his setup has barely changed a bit.
You know how at times like leaving the house, I don't have to go back up and check her hair,
like her curling iron, check the door, all that stuff.
It's one of the places where his brain already knows the answers to all the questions.
rules at his pace, all in an environment that makes him most comfortable. But that need
for predictability doesn't stay contained to his house. It follows him everywhere.
I went out in public three times in a row. I got recognized all three times. I never went
outside again, bro. Like some people broke came on like, hey, yo, can I get a picture?
Everybody started looking. I'm like, oh man, dude, I would bet. Oh, I actually get that. I feel that
on a spiritual level. Outside of that room, he controls nothing. Oh, I really actually understand
I'm that one.
Most of the time, most people are cool about it,
but like it does.
It's a little nerve-wracking at first.
It's still kind of it sometimes.
I don't go that.
I have like a sixth sense for it, dude.
If somebody recognizes me in public, I know.
I've told, dude, I've called it up to Shay so many times.
Like when we first started dating, I'd tell her like,
oh, I can tell when someone recognized me.
She's like, oh yeah, sure.
And then like I told her like, I started doing it
and she was like, no, you really actually can tell.
Cause it was times where like, dude,
I walked into like a Costco and I saw some guy like,
do a double take at me in the beginning of the story,
I go, oh, that guy's gonna find me later, I can tell.
And then like I'm checking out and it comes up behind me,
goes, hey, are you fine?
So I'm like, every damn time, like 20 minutes later,
you know?
No, never!
When he's at home, it's easier to manage
because, well, he's in his own house,
but in public, there's no way to make the unknown stop.
It's not only uncomfortable,
but also insanely overwhelming.
You have a better chance of actually winning
the Powerball lottery than ever seeing me in public.
That's how rare it is, no joke.
The Blueprint says the path forward revolves around a constant state of evolution.
The more you change, the newer things are, the more excited people are.
I think when you get to his level too, you really can't go in public that often because
people are just going to be on you all day.
Imagine you want to go get dinner at a restaurant.
There are people that don't know social boundaries, man.
They might come up and ask for a photo, like sure, but you're having dinner with your significant
other, with friends, like maybe a quick photo, right?
But then they come back and they want to ask questions and they're like, hey, what are
doing like whenever like you you you kind of lose that sense of privacy in public that you don't
realize you take for granted every day as a normal person and that's kind of like where I like where
I'm at as a streamer where like I pay all my bills pretty well I'm definitely known but not like
I go to a restaurant I'm worried like people are going to come over and try to have conversations
with me you know watch but for queso that path has never really been accessible the same way it is
for everyone else. And yet here he is. Behind everything, the awards, the numbers, the journey
from a race meal to the number 3 spot on Twitch. Almost nothing has actually changed.
either that'd be a dream come true too bro he's been grounded in the fact that
streaming was never about being the very best it was always about building a
life worth living for himself and for the people he loves wait mom I can't
believe what I'm seeing oh my goodness I can't believe what I'm seeing
we're back in 10 million is that a cooking stream
no way we're actually back in 10
we're in 10 million let's go
Ten million on YouTube!
By the way, that is the comfiest looking chair I've ever goddamn seen.
I gotta ask, what is that chair?
His mom was there before any of this made sense.
She brought me some balloons in here!
Yeah!
She brought me some balloons!
Yeah, you can get balloons in here!
You can get balloons in here!
Before all of the awards and money,
before tens of thousands of people were waiting for him to go live,
she was the only one who pushed him to trash trading in the first place.
That's actually so sweet.
And his dad, the man who spent his whole life doing the kind of work nobody claps for.
My dad, for example, like, dude, this whole life, just working.
He's had multiple back surgeries, multiple wrist surgeries, multiple foot surgeries,
all from just working his whole life.
The man you watched and worked alongside with, deal with no complaints.
I worked with my dad.
We're both maintenance men.
Maintenance ain't easy work.
You know, you're all in your seats.
No, it's not.
Dude, I don't want to do maintenance on my own house.
False, it's you're crawling up in addicts, you know, all that just nasty.
The same man that taught him.
Nasty is backbreaking.
The one who told him to quit his regular job and do what he loved.
I remember the night we hit 5,000.
I was like, all right, tomorrow I'm going to call my boss.
I remember I got him to call because I was scared.
Like, hey, boss, you know, I'm playing video games for a living,
but it'd sound better coming from my dad because my dad was essentially like his right hand man.
Yep.
But yeah.
So when streaming became a reality, he made sure that the two people who spent their lives
building him up never had to work again.
What has been like the most fulfilling thing that you've run into in your career?
Just that everybody gets to chill and get away from the jobs.
They hate it and everything like that.
And we could all just chill and do this.
Well, that's the best thing.
I'm gonna say they're retired because they do it because, you know, they don't
want to just chill and do nothing.
They do a lot of stuff for me like my dad.
If I need something to go get or something, he goes and gets it.
My mom handles all the, the background, like all of them.
If you ask Case, that's the whole story right there.
In a world where overnight success has a way of quietly hollowing people out.
Case will never let any of it change him.
The only thing I want to be is a place for people to go for four hours a night,
forget about life, you know, crack some jokes, you know, have a good time and just just chill out.
And that's why this story isn't over. Keso has already crossed the line and
out of the most. He turned his dream into real life. He helped his family stop working. He became
the place he always wanted to be for others. So whatever happens next is just icing on the cake.
Dan, that was a good video. That was a really damn good video.
Y'all for real low-key making drink y'all for low-key making dreams come true, bro
That was a damn good video
Damn
Oh
That was a damn good video
All right guys, I think that's a good place to call it. I think that's a good place to call it
