all there playing playing, of course. I remember the hunter-asman that it's still
to this day is one of the most hype finals to a strategy game in general. It was just crazy.
So I'm cannot believe what was going on. The equivalent of what went on with height,
100, 100, 100, 100 was probably like lute subscription with triple prismatic, with three
prismatic groups dropping, and everyone hitting like world rooms and traits, it was just an
absolute crazy madness game, but like both of them going, it was like extremely close back
at four of them and they would always be like positioning differently every fight, winning by like one unit.
It was, it was, it was incredible. I'll never forget that game. It was all that was crazy.
Anyways, so that's gonna be happening at 11 a.m. in a few hours. I think we can just play some
ladder in the meantime. Checking out the people's content and tier list. There's a, there's a
A comp that I've been trying to look at, I think Volabare is really underrated, but there's a version of it that people want to play around losers and trying to play a vocabruses into six, basically like hybridizing the six, the, the rigs board, but instead of playing around rise and the Ionia core, you play around failure in the Sandra and they, they suggest that one of the primary we could get into it is lifting competition.

but he also played good TFT.

so different than how I would play that I was like trying to humble myself and it's like,
well, it works out for him. It probably means that he understands something that I don't.
But there are a lot of things that confused me about his play. And so I also would want my
killer duels. I like him a lot. And I think he's very talented. Also at the same time, I just like
wasn't agreeing with a lot of his his reading a lot of his setups. So I just, for me, I was like,
has I was like a little bit more reserved about whether or not he was like the best
he had the best read and plays going into it, but he was obviously very good. And so I was
okay with any of those four I guess. His final board was in that last game. Do you
need to play the Rise Billage Water? It's a little bit harder categorized Rise Billage Water
because half of like this and half of like Billage Water, but because you're so Billage
what are dependent on tempo, felt like we just put it here. Also, um, it might
need to change. Some of these guides, now that we've understand from that a little
bit deeper, he's just a couple of small adjustments here and there.

All right, more here, and it's time for the Monday Morning Meta Report for Patch 16 2 week 1.
Yes, we're actually out of 16 1, and we get to do a morning Meta Report for a different patch.
So hopefully a bunch of the new information here.
As always, these are the disclaimers.
These reports are based on early experiences, some internal data.
But things can change before a professional professional third determined
Anything in the clue to this report doesn't mean we'll be acting on it. That's a second. I think it look at
Tells a matter of what I'm going to know to what's going on. Just a new discovery is can happen and we're seeing a look at that

So if you look at if we let go back to that game
Which is like break it down
I
just break it down. So I open, I open with TF. I miss my window for build water. It is what it is.
Sunfire is like a generic thing to stamp to get temple anyways. I think that's good.
And then I don't like any of these options. I don't think Hay and I could evolution is real.
risky moves in general is like very sus survivor fire axe.
fire axe, it's got to be buffet and then I make Gen 2, Gen 2, and then I pop, I could have made void staff here for Twisted Fate and tried to just force my way into the woodwater anyways.
But I'm loo streaking and I just look at my spot and I'm like, well I just have like a better AD opener, and then I also hit three, I also hit three to Mossy, or three I own you.
So I decided to just go into Ionia instead and play around my pairs.
I have shins out pair, like that's a signal to go, and then I don't level because I don't
want to ruin my e-con.
My second silver, I take to see books, I know that I need the extra gold, and one person's
contesting me.
Only one, and this person, high rolls, woo-con on six, and takes Banji on high was a quick
shrek rhythm, double in saying, so I'm like, what a drum behind.
And then I like, I guess I don't level ahead of the curve because I don't feel like I'm
that strong.
My matchmaking on stage three is true with.
I rotate into everyone who's spiking and then the people who are loose, we can try
to spike at three five three six, I cue to them, lose one of that.
And then I level, I don't go to, I don't go at four one, watch way, I go at four one
to unlock sets.
And I make sure I maximize my e-con and I take a good combat augment and I roll
and I just miss, right?
So I think, like I still have a window here, but it just took a very good
very, very long time to get anything going.
All right, here we go.
I'm recording.
And so over the same morning, I haven't seen the finals of the Cup yet or anything.
So just calling that up.
All right, on the champs and trade side, the meta definitely shifted quite a bit, which
was expected after a big patch after the long break.
The good news is there are a lot of ways to play and get top four, but definitely will
will call out two big things I think into up over the mark.
Billgewater in particular, ended up stronger than even last patch when played ideally.
Now I do say when played ideally, a lot of people aren't really playing it ideally,
it's a very deep, complicated trait.
We're not saying that.
We're not saying that.
Definitely is one of those things that once it gets going, it gets no ball really hard.
And definitely ended up a bit stronger.
I think things like the MS Buff Plus Buff 6 made her quite a bit better.
I think Fizz obviously being one of the more frustrating things.
and then just really the generic power of the trait.
It also didn't help that one of the intended nerfs we did,
which was the two cost price increase didn't go through.
Not that that would have shifted things dramatically,
but it would be a nice little bump.
And then the other one was Ziggs.
Ziggs went from a unit that basically nobody was playing
to now he's on the top cap boards.
He's a very powerful unit, works really well with Ryze as well.
The combination of him and Ryze together
can often do just so much AOE damage.
I think the auto attacks in particular
end up over buffed as opposed to like his spell.
If you look at like some of his item delta's, for example,
he ends up really liking things like
Genese using Quick Silver as opposed to Shogun
and adaptive helmets, stuff like that.
So those are the two things I think definitely
ended up a little too strong.
If you're trying to get first place,
those two come in particular do very well.
That being said, one of the positives here
was a lot of the big swings have their intended effect
without overswinging.
Dabosia is still very, very playable,
and I think right below those top two comes.
And the most is pretty playable.
We're seeing a lot of Dabosia do very well,
whether that be some sonorary role,
or even just some late game AP, Dabosia stuff
that can do really well.
Void still works perfectly fine.
Requires some arguments to get to the barren, obviously,
but barren is still a very high cap that does well.
Ishtall can do really good.
I think one of the surprising ones for a lot of people
that you nara in the Ionia are still very replayable. We actually saw in the cup and if you look
at some of the stats that like Clement put together, Ionia Flex actually did incredibly well with
the tournament, so playing Ionia from the right spots definitely still makes sense. From the
lot of the changes we made, Zon actually has some pretty playable versions, Echo Rural is a pretty
good comp right now, you know, maybe not an S tier, but definitely very good. I think it's a
actually works really really well in the early and mid game. You can definitely win three
cough of the jinx if you have the right items. You do need bonus for jinx, but uh you know
if you can throw. Singe is definitely out there now causing a lot of trouble. Singe can do a
lot of work in comms or seeing singe get played in a lot of things without necessarily buffing
his damage. So that was good. Now is jinx re-roll playable? No. Is 7-Zon really playable? Not really.
So that's good, Rob. Alright, we did these giant bustle like jinx and it didn't put her out of
of line, so that was a big, awesome thing.
I don't think it's awesome.
All to say that noxas and shadow aisles
are also two camps that, again,
from the right spot can be played.
If you looked at the patch notes and all the noxas stuff
that we would have added up, it was like,
wow, these are big buffs.
I think a lot of people thought that noxas
was going to be pretty out of line,
but actually noxas seems totally fine.
Part of that is we still need to fix a dareous issue,
but even separate from that, like it's not out of line.
Shadow aisles is also pretty close.
I think Calista is actually doing quite well.
Again, she doesn't quite stack up
until like a build water or a zig,
but she's really high up there.
So, especially like a vanquisher thrash,
that can also be pretty insane.
Yordle Riro also works pretty well.
Again, this caps around Fizz and Ziggs,
so part of that is there.
But Yordle Riro is actually playable
even in some of the higher e-lows.

I will say the Vigar nerf was a good hit.
Glad we did that.
If we hadn't nerfed Vigar,
he would have been insane.
The bug fix really did help him quite a bit.
For a couple of misses here,
a relian sole still in rough shape.
We have a rework coming from 163,
but this champ got a very large buff
and it barely moved the needle, showing you how hard
he can be to play.
Pilt over is too narrow now.
It is still technically playable.
You can definitely, we see T-hecks on boards
that can actually do some work,
but it's not as easy as just, you know,
I've been forwarding with a single Caitlin
into a rewrote Caitlin into your gonna make it work
because it's just not that busted anymore.
We do want to make it more accessible than it is now,
but definitely a little strong.
And then Trinna Mia, for example,
right now, it's very tied to artifacts.
If you can get some artifacts, he is playable,
but without them, not really.
I've talked about it before that, like,
Ash probably should have got some compensation buffs
and things like that.
So still some work to do.
Overall, I'll say on a personal note,
I'm at like 440 LP right now.
I'm climbing with a lot of different things.
What if I'm...
Honestly, the top end, I think, is the thing that feels bad.
When you get to that stage five stage six part
and it's like, you do see a lot of zig-z and rise.
That being said, I think a lot of people are playing it
from spots they shouldn't, but it is definitely like the top.
And so, some build water being the other one.
And the fact that build water is sort of this S tier,
but it sort of requires you to like,
hire an early, notalists or early gang plank or a test to see.
You know, not necessarily the most competitive state. So it's kind of what we're seeing alright portable forward
I'm surprised that
They want you to mere child artifacts or might if I'm just understanding this this slide, but I don't feel like it's good to turn to mere side to are only artifacts
But maybe that they're fine with that because there's so many champions. It's okay. It's a mar
We're seeing, but overall from those part, I agree with this.
The people in China said that jinx is terrible.
Gings is fine, just don't end jinx three in a lot of boards.
Maybe you can if you're like, high rolling is on.
I think sevens on is playable.
I've seen to do really well with the emblems because the emblem itself can do a lot of work
with a really tanky unit.
So just something to think about.
You wouldn't re-well works kind of, I guess.
A lot of thing could work because zicks is that good.
And a big part of what's going on as well, do you know, do you want to know something that's funny about all these things is that all these, all these things that are doing well is because they can connect as it's the Mossia has like a Zix cap void as a Zix cap.
I only has a Zix cap and that's because there's like ways you can tie in Zix pretty easily.
So they're like still very good, but it's like important to record like noxas does not really have a zig-scaps
Shadows does not really have a zig-scaps and there's like there's definitely a lot of it tied to some really core issues like that

Some of them think about or it all stages when I say below. I mean worse
But I will say it's starting to get weaker than we'd like to see it
It's a okay augment at two ones. All right, but it's starting to fall into that like four points six four points seven
range in the three two and four two spaces, which isn't great, which does mean there might
be some bus for some artifacts. That being said, if you look at the artifact augments in
general, I will say, sweet treats actually looks pretty strong, showing that the health
that provides actually carrying a lot of the weight there than just one or just string.
Also, sweet treats can be tied to build water. I bet if you could break out the stats
and look at sweet treats without build water and with build water, there might be a
pretty big difference there.
Layton forage looks pretty balanced.
So I'll have to keep that in mind.
But I will say, living forage and foraged in strength right now,
both look pretty weak.
I should have done a very weak.
And so, like I said, there might be some work to do
on some of the artifacts.
It might be minor, right?
It won't be as big as swing as like the emblem swing.
We just took last patch.
But we do need to probably bust up some of these artifacts
and get them to a point where these arguments are more standard.
because again, these are like some of the popular
artifact augments.
So I think for the strength is going to scale directly
with proficiency and skill.
Because for the strength requires you to be low HP,
which is already, it's like a loose streak augments
of the speak.
It's not really a loose streak augment.
In the ideal world, you actually would trick with it.
But you only get the benefits at 35 HP.
And also scales with the rectly, your setup around it,
which is, are you playing cops that can use artifacts?
Do you know how to use the artifacts?
Did you save our forgers to optimize around it?
So I think this augment, looking bad in the stats,
is not necessarily indicative of its actual strength
and position.
It's also a really fun augment.
I think it's fine if they keep it weak.
I guess what I'm trying to say is,
if fortune strength looks good in the data,
that probably means that it's very over tuned.
Because it just means that,
or people just are really good at optimizing around it,
But it's just one of those things where I don't think it actually needs a buff.
I be worried that it's too good and then you just get now we're just in like the
click the artifact document.

On the overperforming augment side at high yellow, we're actually at a really good spot right now.
Again, if our guide here is anything over 4.2, we're looking pretty good for high

Jarvan and Shavana duo looking a little strong showing kind of the power of democracy right now
Hustler really strong has been definitely comes and goes slice of life has been another one that's always on this list
Deadly or caps. This is one that I think is kind of showing the power of like a vagar for example
I think a lot of people when they see this argument they hard-forged vagar and it works really quite well
So that's a big idea like vagar and orfids are actually even still too strong and then malicious monetization
that's another one that has been pretty strong all set, but other than that actually everything's looking pretty good.
At lower elo, this is a little less true. Lower elo really likes their verticals here. You can see the
augments that are overperforming. So I still go through revenge though. I will say, it's just
revenge is another, I've talked about this before, it's a weird augment where it's overperformed
in the early game and actually has a really low win rate. So it's a very good top four
top four augments, but actually not like a first place augment which is kind of indicative
of its design as well as on. So Jarben Chivona do a democracy forever, early learning, early
learning, so no, very, very good right now. Ruined King, that's another vertical, bringer of
Ruined, another vertical, motion's monetization, noxion invasion, that's another one that's
kind of surprising, is showing the legion, noxis with augments, a very playable at low elo.
going long. This one's like barely below our mark in high elo. So going long is another one that's really good.
You know, hop, go back to the effectiveness. This one actually surprised me a little bit, but I will say it means we're getting pretty close.
Is the Zahin augment is actually really really good in low elo. And it's not bad in high elo by any means.
It's just a little harder to play there.
The slice of life away from soul, Thorne played the armor and deadly or cats. So these are lists in the lower elo.
But again, the fact that high level of getting pretty close, that's good.

What are the set haters going to stay now?
There's a lot of people who hate this set because they say vertical.
It's like so stupid that all you do is click on the five costs.

But there's some people like well, I just like playing the verticals according to more dog the verticals are overpowered at quotes a low elo and quote

So for high yellow, we have wild and roof, which isn't really working out.
The number of three stars, right now even when you play your, it's definitely a lot of
get to eight, play around the vague R, the fizz, the zigs, things like that.
So while the roof kind of tells you don't do that, it's not really working out well.
Or a farming, this one's pretty disappointing to see at this low.
The fact that aura farming isn't really good when last set, it was like OP.
So I think or a farming could really use some love double trouble.

is I did mention the emblem ones, right?
The emblem augments used to all be in the bottom here.
So where did they land? That's actually talk about where they landed.
Where did they land from?
From what we can tell, and this one surprised me.
But again, I'm using high elo here.
So these are the numbers from high elo.
Hard commit, flexible, and easy to get.
We stick together and cooking pot are all still weak and when I say weak, I'm talking in that 4.7 to 4.8 range
They're not really doing well, which is funny because they do see a lot of high-Elo players over indexing on flexible
So could just be some guy in the play some chasing but flexible
Definitely the one that could have stood out to me in this bucket the rest kind of makes sense
But these augments all still kind of doing weak in the 4.7 to 4.5 range. We have branching out and branching out plus
generally pretty standard documents, Earth being another one that one that gives you the spatula.
That being said, I do think there's some work to do with which ones of these can appear on the rise portal.
I think Earth on the rise portal and Earth not on the rise portal would be very different situations.
In the 4.5 to 4.35 range, we have Legion of Threes, spreading roots and spreading roots plus
world-runs and trait tree. Now I have world-runs red here because I want to call out that this to me
shows that world runs is too strong. And world runs in particular, like I said, it's
needs to be in like, trait tracker land. Even at high low, I would expect this
balance to be like a 47 or 48. One of those things that you pull off has a
high wind rate, much like trait tracker. So it's me, this is a sign that world
runs is just OP. This is too high for that kind of argument. Yep. And then above
4.35, we have trait tree plus. This is one that I think if you wanted to like say,
Hey, the emblem thing was a miss.
I think this is the one augment that's like, well,
but it's high for all drones.
This augment also ended up being a little too strong.
And then Earth's Gambit is the other one
that's above 4.35 as well.
So overall, when I'll say to me,
the emblem rework, I would say landed like 90 to 95% there.
Right, there's two augments here that I definitely
think should have been nerfed.
I think you can look at the emblems as a whole
and maybe pick out like two or three,
like is it to Masiya emblem or Juggernaut emblem
or a quick-sraker emblem that are like a little too strong possibly,
but not any insane degrees.
So overall, I'm actually pretty happy with how the emblem
rework worked out.
People are actually taking spats and pans off carousels.
That's a good thing.
It did raise the pain around the rise portal.
I will call out that'd be the one negative side effect as well.
But overall, I don't want to show where this has landed so far.
Why is Earth game is so good?
The worst game is the one that says if you win get a spat, if you lose
going to pan, that's a pretty big difference.
I guess it's like because if you are taking it, you have specific positions
where you need it.
So you're taking her's gambit because you know you need a second spat
of, let's say, build water.
Versus a lot of people just take Earth because it's been a
bit of a bit of a lot of the spat.
It's probably just that.
Trade tree plus, the reason why it's so good versus trade
trees, it's a consumer forger.
or forger with three emblems is a very different
than just getting three random emblems.

think the thing about flexible is that it has really high potential I don't think it

I mean, a lot of it was just seeing how you formulate the plan
is really good.
And you're much more willing to lose life than I am,
be more patient. I get a little panicky, but they're all thinking about like having the vision,
making sure that you have a play at a head set up home together was really good again.

know nothing about positioning. So that's fantastic. It's so hard to learn the positioning,
because it's just, I, my eyes are maybe too old to learn it from just watching.
I mean, I think you did a really good job picking a blackwells putting down and overall,
I think it's a really fun unique ideas on stuff too.
It's always fun to talk to players who aren't top-changer because the way you guys value things might be a little different.
They'd also might open up perspective because sometimes when you're like 2D down the challenge, you're like stop.
