So there's just been a lot of stuff come out from PSA. It's not that they're evil, it's just that they're kind of weird.
They've been caught to where they have graded a card for a customer at a PSA 9 and then they
sold the card, the person sold the card to PSA and then PSA changed it to PSA 10.
And there was like a big uproar saying why did you guys told me it was a 9 but it was
actually a PSA 10, and they were just trying to profit off of people and stuff, so.
You know, um, in all honesty, because that's been happening, some- this is- this is a
stupid like conspiracy that I have, right?
You grade your cards yourself through PSA, and they can do that to you.
because Gamestop has a like a contract with them they can't do that with
Gamestop because they can't talk to the person who sends in their grades so
they're just going to give you the grade that I guess whatever they think you
need but I have I've been I've been testing out PSA just sending in my
regular cards like sending it like just me and then also games up my first
GameStop order came back pretty good except for one card I was like how did it
get a six it had there was nothing wrong with cards so I cracked it open it's in
my binder right now but the two cards that I did send them got tens so I don't
I think I'm going to do another order and see how it goes just by myself, but as far as I know I've I got a ton of
tens going through GameStop. I don't trust GameStop. Well, GameStop ensures every single card that you give them.
So, what you do is you take pictures and videos of every single card you send in through them,
and so when it comes back, if there's anything wrong, they can't deny it and they have to fix it.
Also, when you do it with GameStop, it is so much cheaper
if you say you have a card that tens and is $4,000.
They only, like one of the cards for me was $2,000, they only upcharged me $5.
Now if I went through PSA and did it myself, they would have upcharged me, I think like
a hundred something dollars.
So in some ways, GameStop is kind of better, but you know, it is what it is.
So like whenever I did the two-car to PSA that tens, I owed, well, originally I paid
150 to grade them because I wanted to expedite it.
And then on top of that they charged me like 300 and something dollars because they tend.
But now with GameStop it's like okay I do have to wait extra time but it's 1999 to
grade 1 card.
And then the upcharge I've ever gotten was only $5.
So, and if something ever happens to your card, they always ens- it's always insured, so they
will help you out and fix what's going on with your card.
Now, have I heard bad things about using GameStop to grade your cards?
