and a lot of people's communities are lucky, toxic, and overwhelming, and they're always
like y'all just aren't that and you height me up and you up lift me and like sometimes
you rate to make me a little bit but it's because we all like it a little bit.
Or right where we want to be and I'm just grateful so if you want to be more a part of
the community when I'm not live you can be in this discord so many different channels like
I said you can share what you're thankful for you can talk sports you can share your recipes
your memes, your music, everything. Okay, fine people to play with, all that jazz.
If you've never been to the end of my streams, I do share a Bible verse at the end of all of my
streams. I do, I am a Christian, I love the Lord. And so I like to just take a segment of my
stream and give it back to him. And then you guys have, again, given me a safe place to do that. And just
is hopefully like feed your life spirit
or help your walk with Christ
or allow you to like maybe be curious
about the idea of having relationship with Christ
because it can be overwhelming or scary
or maybe a little trauma led
because we've all lived a different life
and we've all experienced different things
but I just want to be like a beacon of light
and hope and allow the Lord to work for me
you can see his love. And so the verse of the day today is really small. One we can
probably even memorize if we tried really hard. And it is, in first, Thessalonians chapter
five verse 16, always be joy. Always be joyful. The next one says never stop praying. Be thankful
and all circumstances for this is God's will for you who've ponged to be this, but just
always be joyful. There's just something psychotic about thinking Christ in the middle of your
pain or your sorrow or your failure, of just sitting in the middle of the storm and just being
at peace. And people are outside looking and being like, how are they doing that? And we go,
we're not. We have the Lord that we know we know we're going to be okay. You don't know how.
But it's still important. We have a choice every day when we wake up. Are we going to choose
to be joyful or resentful? Joyful or bitter? Joyful or angry? Joyful or sad?
Now sometimes, maybe we don't feel like we have a choice. Maybe the anxiety is honest,
It's very heavy and I pray that you know that Christ and set us free from all things.
And although I do know and recognize things, I do, is real and it's heavy, it is
not bigger than God.
And we have to stop blaming so much negativity over our lives and allowing it to have so
much power over our lives.
Because I'm just as guilty of it of going, I don't feel good.
I'm anxious.
I'm nervous.
Oh, I don't know. I can't do it. I don't know. And then our words have so much weight and so much power that it triggers something in our brain, and then we just shut it off. And then there's no more room for joy.
So instead, we have to feed it with positivity to say, hey, always be joyful. How do we do that? The next verse tells us, never stop praying.
So if joy is being stolen from you, like we always say, never let anybody steal your
joy, but if you feel it being stolen from you, start praying and be transparent with
God.
And say, I'm feeling very angry, very bitter right now.
I'm feeling very annoyed right now.
I'm feeling very impatient, very anxious, very this, very that, just dump it on Christ.
And listen, be thankful and also circumstances.
And it's like the shift in our hearts, it's like, okay, I gave it to him.
Let me now leave it with him and think about all the things that I can be thankful for.
Let me start recognizing, let me start looking for a red car.
I don't know if you guys have ever heard that analogy, but it's like, you don't notice
the red car to be started looking for the red car.
And we have to decide, is the red car good or is the red car bad?
If we're always looking for bad, we will find it.
But if we're always looking for the good, we will find it.
