I agree that the law is good. So this verse is an encouragement to all of us. I don't really
understand myself as something we have probably all said at some point in our life. It's like I don't
understand myself for what I want to do what is right but I don't do it instead I do what I hate.
If we found ourselves like I don't get it like I want to stop doing this but I keep coming back
to it. I want to stop reacting like this but I keep doing it. I keep allowing this to overcome me.
I keep like why? Why? And there's more verses that talk about this but this is a struggle
that we have all experience. And this verse says, but don't allow this to stop you from
seeking that personal relationship of Christ. Don't allow this to stop you because it says,
for even making this realization in your mind, you are realizing right from home. You're
realizing the goodness of God. Like it says, but if I know that what I am doing is wrong,
this shows that I agree that the law is good. Like I'm agreeing with Christ. I'm agreeing that
I'm an idiot in like, day I wish I would stop, right?
So the thing is, is all a journey.
It's all a progressive day and a day out thing.
So there's something in your life that you feel,
it's not honoring Christ.
And you fear that you keep falling back into it,
or you will keep falling back into it.
Just continue to submit to Christ, continue to work
on that relationship with Him.
And in time, you will show you the ways
and the things to do and the people to be around
that will allow you to break that.
Break that addiction, break that pattern, break that area in your life that you want to walk away from.
And if you fall or fail, and you don't, like, hey, it happened.
Don't say, oh, God's going to forgive me, whatever I'm going to do it again, rather he looks at your heart.
And he sees that it wasn't really your intention to do it.
You don't understand yourself.
Like, it's like you black out, and you're like, why did I do that?

So it's all a thing that, and every day thing that we are submitting to Christ,
to Christ and we say, how can I be better than I was yesterday?
How can I do better? How can I honor Christ better today?
And that's a different point too. It's not to look at your neighbor and be like,

All they said they were going to stop doing this but yet look at them.
It's not our place to tear someone down.
It's not our place to keep track of their rights and wrongs.
It is our job to honor Christ to love him and to love people.
It's our job to look at fellow brothers and sisters and Christ and cheer them on.
pray for them, type them up. If you feel like maybe you've been a little guilty of that, too,
of being maybe a little too judgmental. Maybe we can work on that, too, right?
So I'm not the one doing wrong. It says in the next verse. So I am not the one doing wrong. It is
the sin living in me that does it. We live in a sinful world. We cannot be perfect here on Earth,
and we never will be. Stop wearing that shame like a permanent tattoo across your forehead
like that you're this and you'll always be this and you'll never be better than this. That is
a lie and it is not true. The sin that lives within us. Since we were born is what we have to
battle every day of the flesh. If the wake up and decide to not listen to it, to not feed the

because we have access to a graceful,
merciful, amazing God that loves us.
