Again, I always say when you make that personal decision to invite Jesus into your heart, you're in his family.
family and when you're in his family you are now you live in freedom and love and joy, right?
Of course we have different trials, tribulations, trip ups, failures, heartbreaks, everything,
but now there is such a huge crowd of witnesses people are looking at you. How are you reacting?
How are you walking out the love of God? How do you treat people? So if you claim Jesus,
How are you like they're watching you like kind of me right now sitting here with you, a big crowd of witnesses.
I have to live a life that reflects Christ the best I can. And when I screw up, I have to be able to in humility and in grace, come back to God and recognize that I have to put my pride away and my ego.
And I have to just like be raw and in the moment and ask for forgiveness, right.
it says, now that therefore since we are surrounded by a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of
faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily
drifts us up. We have to just quit allowing that, that blanket of sin to weigh on us,
that blanket of fear, shame, mistakes, like, it's like this dark cloud that we allow to
to walk everywhere that we walk.
And that is not for us to carry.
That is not our burden anymore.
So we have to take off the things that slow us down
because we can very often, a lot of us can say,
I would, but I can't.
I would, but there's this.
It's slowing you down.
I would go, but I have this memory
that is slowing me down,
that is preventing me from stepping out in faith,
that's preventing me from stepping out
even while I'm afraid.
We have to take those things off.
Forget, give those memories to Christ,
that they're slowing you down, hand them over,
give them that fear, give them those vulnerabilities.
They're slowing you down,
especially the sentence that easily trips us up, right?
Have habit, things about us that easily tempt us,
that we easily fall into.
It could be overwhelming,
but I hope that you guys know
that we can give that over to Christ.
And then it says,
run with endurance the race God has set before us we all have our own unique
stories life experiences platforms oh happy I don't have a platform I'm not
a streamer your room is a platform your home is a platform your classroom is a
platform your workplace is a platform like when you step out of your house it
is a platform for Christ to show his love you have so much impact on this life
It does not matter how many views you have, how many viewers you have, how many likes you have.
Take it all away.
You have an impact on the life that immediately surrounds you, and that's important.
And it says to run the race with endurance because it's a long one.
It can get heavy sometime.
You can feel like your lungs are just in, you know, like when you run and you have a random forever and you just get that pain in your side?
Keep going, give that pain to Christ and keep going because he'll get you through to the other side and you'll have so much to thank him for and you'll have impacted so many people around you.
