inherently was then a colts fan. And so I would cheer for them for no particular
reason. And then I just was like, woo, go team go. Um, and then
as I started getting older, I was like, okay, like, if people
ask, this is who I am now, like, I'm a cool fan, cool, cool,
right? Then Peyton Manning retired and I was kind of like,
ooh, I don't really know what to do. I don't really have like,
like, I don't have roots for anything. I don't know who to root
for, right? And so I just enjoyed the sport and watched
it and really have a team that rooted for. But if you are a
football fan, growing up, you knew who you weren't supposed
like the Patriots right they were up number one they were enemies like boo
Patriots all you do is win boo give other people a chance oh you cheater oh
deflate gate all this other stuff right so lo and behold I become best friends
with a guy named beard aka my husband right so I'm really good friends with
him he's a diehard Patriots fan his story is the same he didn't really have
a team and he picked the Patriots and he was right or die with them forever
right? So we're watching the Super Bowl. And if you know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about
these Super Bowl, okay? Patriots versus the Falcons. So I am rooting for the Falcons in my home.
He's rooting for the Patriots in his home. And we're texting each other and I'm like,
you're going down, haha, your team sucked. And he's like, I'm willing to bet you something,
a wager and I'm like period and he's like if the Patriots win this Super Bowl you have to be a Patriots fan and I'm like

Promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.
Physical training is good. We, of course, want to take care of our bodies that we were given.
We want to treat them well. Our body is a temple. We want our body to represent
our discipline and our love for Christ and our ability to deny the flesh and say,
know, but also training for godliness is much better in promising benefits in this life and the
life to come. So continuing to work on that like muscle memory of praying, relying on God,
having faith, not allowing anxiety or fear to overwhelm you in situation, but instead relying
on Christ. So when those emotions do come, you're ready and you're equipped to handle the weight
of or the burden of the situation like am I unsure of what's going on yes but I can recall scripture I
can recall my own testimony I can look back and go God did it before he can do it again so we have
to train in both ways right relying on him spiritually physically mentally but also training
our bodies and taking care of them it is so important and you know the Lord wants to
be there for us and bless us. He wants to see us succeed. He wants to see us be healthy. He wants to see us be faithful.
And so it's like we're not neglecting any area of our life. And if we find that maybe we are, maybe we've been a little lackluster, we've been a little unmotivated, it's okay.
Like I'm right there with you. I set goals for myself and then I do them maybe once or twice and then forget about them for a while.
And I'm like, I really need to get back to it. And then when you finally do it feels great and then you forget again.
again and then it's just such a good thing that God is so patient with us, right?
And so I hope you guys hear me when I say God is patient with you. He's not
disappointed in you. He loves you. He's cheering for you. They're just like how
you guys show up and cheer for me every day. That's Jesus on the sideline,
cheering you on with the Holy Spirit helping you guide you through all of
