Los Angeles was probably the least raucous crowd out of all of the crowds. And yet I asked

the tour banged that our least rambunctious crowd was still very high intensity, very high energy.

don't realize that by the 10th manufactured controversy, because controversy after controversy
eats away at your, not credibility. I see it as like a, like a health bar. Okay. I see it as a health
bar, your charitability health bar. Every character on the internet has a charitability health bar.
Dean is new, right? He ate a little bit on the, on the Charlie Kirk crying thing. And then he
turned around and was like, Oh, I would rather, you know, be on his side than yours or whatever.
like that ate away at his charitability health bar, right? A little bit. But he's still relatively
fresh, he's relatively new. Then this fake rape accusation that Groyper's cooked up ate away at
his charitability health bar a little bit, he was able to gain some of it back. But they're not
going to let up. This is just a game of time for the most part. This isn't, and for the record,
this is a heinous smear. And of course, full support to Dean on this. For those of you who
don't know, Droypers basically found a 13-year-old's account on TikTok and then took that 13-year-old's
photos, right? And then made it seem like that 30 that random 13 year old on the
internet was actually accusing Dean of pain as shit, right? It was disgusting.
Yes, it is exactly as bad as you think.
But this is Dean's first major right-wing controversy, right?
Like his first major right-wing smear operation.
I have withstood for the past almost a decade a lot of these.
So while he did a really good job of combating this misinformation, it still doesn't matter
because some people are going to hear that and never hear the correction, and that's
going to forever be burned in their mind, or, or, and that's how smears work, or they're
going to, the more the right attacks them like this, the more the right attacks them
over and over again and over and over and over again no matter how sufficiently he
defends himself
eventually people are going to go off he's just a controversial guy
he's not he's not a controversial guy at all
but people will remember you as a controversial guy
because
if people are able to manufacture drama around you all the time
a lot of outsiders
onlookers
will just kind of even if they don't know your politics or even if they
kind of know your politics they will always say, oh that guy is always finding himself in trouble.
It sucks. This will happen to every progressive figure in this country, no matter who they are,
no matter how well they carry themselves, it doesn't matter. Okay, that's how it is. And
especially if you're a progressive figure that is like becoming more impactful,
especially if you're a progressive figure that God forbid gets involved in the game of politics and
starts actually seeing some real changes, then the lies get turned up. But that's my point. My
My point is, I'm endlessly charitable to those even on the liberal side for the most part,
even on the liberal side that I might not agree with on every issue.
And I'm not even saying Dean is one of those guys.
I like Dean.
It's not a secret.
I've said it before.
I think he shows a lot of promise.
But that's why I'm always a lot more charitable to people on our side, ostensibly, tangentially
on our side, because I know I've been in the situation, I've been in the crosshairs for
the last decade.
So I know how this works.
I know how the smear operations work.
I know how a sophisticated, coordinated, manufactured outrage operation looks like
I've been victim to it.
So you know, no matter what happens, this is more so a game of time.
That's why I always try to tell people who oppose me from my left, quote unquote my left,
or even liberals who oppose me like you will eventually if you, you know, continue
doing this and if you continue succeeding in your career, you are eventually going
to get to a place where you will have developed a lot of ideological opponents, you will have
developed a lot of enemies that are simply operating on pure resentment, envy, and a
multitude of different factors, and they will relentlessly try to tarnish your reputation,
it's just going to happen.
You should just stand strong, dig in, and stand by your principles.
This is how I've been able to withstand a decade of smears.
A decade of smears.
Because no matter what people say, yeah, no matter what people say, as long as you stand
by your principles, as long as you stand by your principles, that's all that matters.
And people will see the light people will see your perspective and
People will eventually come to your side if they agree with your worldview
Yeah, remember when the apolitical crowd thinks that you only talk about drama because that is what those stalkers boost in the algorithm
And you become known as the guy who is always in drama for example, exactly

I mean, the Rick Scott one is a great example because like I very clearly stated my position
on this and then use this as a jump off point and opportunity to explain like how the smear
how quickly it materializes what my actual position was and then use the
rest of the video for the most part to talk about you know Rick Scott's crimes
right this did very well it got 1.2 million views to this day people still
use that to this day it doesn't matter like the apologies don't matter the
language that you use don't matter what matters is people cynically using
whatever point of controversy they can lean into to continue smearing
left-wing figures. It's always going to happen. The best advice I can give to young up-and-coming
content creators always is to look past the noise and remain firm and committed to your
values, have a strong moral compass, and keep pushing through. And expect it. Expect the
worse, because it's going to happen.
But yeah, I think Dean did a really good job addressing this stuff.
But ultimately, this is his like first major fake controversy.
There will be, you know, a ton more.
The more Dean becomes a successful figure on the left, the more
aggressive these people are going to be.

There are no lows that they won't reach.
And if this happens too many times,

eventually people don't even care to hear your side of the story.
And instead, what they do is, oh, it's proving to me that this is a bad person. Because once that
Charitability Bar reaches zero, and mine is definitely at zero for newcomers, right?
Let's be real, I've been doing this for far too long for it not to be at zero. I'm in the
Rashida Tlaib, the Inhan Omar category at this point, right?
The Linda Sarsour category of like no charitability whatsoever. This is a dangerous radical for
random onlookers. It's not impossible to overcome that. And I think you guys,
in my community, you play a very important role in this.
But once it reaches zero, then people just kind of know you as a bad person, constantly in drama,
constantly doing heinous things. And when they feel that way, every new media cycle that piles on,
on top of it, is just reconfirming their priors, reconfirming the resentment that they have.
I'm just broadly giving you an example not a I'm using my own personal experience, but I'm giving you an example of like how
a
multi-year long smear campaign works
But it's okay
Because once you once you actually reach people personally on an issue that they care about
about, where they tune in merely by accident, or they tune in because they want to hear
your perspective even to hate on it, and they recognize that all of the previous smears were
just smears they were lies, then that charitability bar blows back up for that individual once
again. See, this is an example of a person who has gone through that processes. It's definitely
really though, even as a pretty far left person that agrees on a lot of policy, I thought
you were just an annoying drama guy for a long time. Yeah, but something happened in
your experience. Something happened. Either you wanted to check it out on your own or
or you saw me talking about an issue or you saw a clip,
and you were like, wait a minute,
this guy's actually making a lot of sense.
And then you tuned in and you were like, oh my God,
everything that this guy is supposedly embroiled in
is bullshit.
If the constant shit slinging didn't work,
people will stop doing it.

inoculation happening right now around me in mainstream news,
because some of the producers understand that.
And I'm going to tie this back to the Sunday shows, right?
Some of these producers understand that if they were to actually have me on the panels,
or if they were to actually have me on in a one-on-one setting to interrogate my beliefs,
then I would come across a lot more reasonable than the way that they are representing me.
And that's precisely the reason why I am not invited onto these shows and endlessly talked
about instead. Endlessly talked about with disingenuous framing, endlessly talked about with
clips, high impact moments, vulgar moments, crude moments, and then a good deal of clips
that are entirely out of context.
I was watching Chris Kanzler's live the other day and his whole chat hates you and
I was honestly so confused and tired they think you catered to capitalism. Yes guys
I've done this spiel so many times throughout my career. Look, I've been a socialist anti-imperialist
outspoken anti-zionist for the last more than a decade that for the last 13 years now, okay?
When you're on the left
The far right hates you they see you as the number one enemy the regular right-wing forces hate you
The liberals hate you, and these are just the ideological opponents, right?
The liberals hate you, but then when you're on the left, you have no other allies.
You don't even have allies with other leftists broadly, because on the left,
we do this thing that no other part of the broader ideological spectrum ever engages in,
infighting. There is very little infighting on the right versus the far right. As a matter
matter of fact, it's become a unique situation nowadays because of the issue of Israel, where
the right is now fighting amongst themselves as well, but that is a very new phenomena.
Liberals don't necessarily engage in purity testing and infighting amongst themselves,
but the left does.
We love grandstanding.
We love making a mountain out of a molehill.
We love factional infighting.
It is probably one of the biggest problems with organizing on the left.
So if you're leftist, if you're an anti-capitalist, if you're a Marxist, if you're a socialist,
if you're an anarchist, if you're a trod, if you're a Stalinist, whatever, right, Maoist,
or even a democratic socialist, you have very few allies even on your broad ideological side.
Because even your own immediate allies, even your own immediate comrades, those who are
closest to you ideologically will always do everything to ankle-bite and to come after
you and think that you're the primary opposition. It sucks, but it's the case. And that's why
I've always tried to create a large tent in this community, a big tent, broad socialist
movement, a broad leftist movement. It is what it is.
But I think the hope is at least, I think once you see the truth, once you understand what
I'm trying to do, what this community is intended for, it's very hard to unsee it.
And that's part of the reason why we have tremendous audience retention in this community
as the census will show once again at 2 p.m. Pacific in two hours, I'm going to
do the annual Hassanabi census. But there are a lot of you that came in here for one reason
or other. Maybe it was my coverage on an issue that you cared about. Maybe it was because
you saw the smears. Maybe it was because you were a fucking huge hater and you came
in to talk shit. And eventually, after spending a long enough time in here, or even sometimes
watching one video, you realize very quickly that a lot of this stuff was just lies. A
lot of what you had heard about me was incorrect. It was negatively framed deliberately by people
who want you to assume that I'm a bad person ahead of time because they can't tackle
the message. If you can't oppose the message, you oppose the messenger. And that's also

New York City DSA was able to make tremendous gains in this last midterm cycle. We were a part of
this. You're very familiar with it. The DSA Slate won 9 out of 10 of the seats that they were
running for unseating major incumbents and the like. And then what happened? The media started
inviting Gustavo Gordillo and other DSA figures on Maestro Moutlets to interview them to interrogate
their positions. And then as soon as they propped up some of these figures like Gustavo,
they started tarnishing them. They started breaking them apart.
Some people wrote hit pieces by going to other left figures like other anarchists, for example,
to ask them, how do you feel? Gustavo Gordillo, he's a liar. Don't you feel like he's fake?
Now, for those of us who've been doing this for quite a long time, this was a familiar
sight, but understand, understand that no matter who it is, no matter what their background
is, no matter what their perspective is, if you are on the left and you are threatening
to power if power perceives you as a threat. They will always come after you and they will
always hit you with every angle of attack. For the other socialists, they will say, well,
this guy's not a real socialist and some socialists will believe it. For the liberals, they'll
say this guy is anti-authoritarian or this guy is actually misogynistic. This guy's
anti-black and some liberals will believe it. For the right, they'll say, well, this guy's a commie,
he hates America, and the right will believe it. So there's always a way that you can
besmirch the reputation, tarnish the reputation, and smear anyone that they design as a high
profile socialist figure. So you have to be on the lookout for this kind of propaganda.

have to not fall for it. For me, it was quite instructive to see Bernie Sanders go
through this process in 2016 and then also in 2020. Bernie Sanders, he has

Sanders. He's a communist. Bernie Sanders loved Che Guevara and Fidel Castro. Every single line of attack

But another lesson that I learned from Bernie Sanders is to be steadfast in your approach,
to be stubborn, to be endlessly stubborn, and to always abide by your values,
to always fight for your values. Right?

fights for a century. But the establishment made of Piker's statement became evidence
against people who didn't share it, against policies that had nothing to do with, against
an insurgent progressive left they'd already flagged as un-American, even anti-American.
But the veiling part to me is what came next.
The attacks stopped being about what Piker said.
They became about who's alongside him, who must denounce him, and here's the turn, which
candidates and which policies can be discredited just by being associated with him.
Mostly that's because of what he represents.
He represents a threat, just like all the insurgents in this year's Democratic
Primaries do, all pushing for change.
The change of what?
And what gives the people criticizing him their place, their influence, their payday,
what established them?
He scares them.
The progressive left scares them.
It's young, smart, energetic, and they see in America that has little use for an establishment
who doesn't see much need for change.
This is familiar ground to me.
This is the establishment versus its own terror of the American Left, and we can
trace its birth, all of it.
The nationalization of our political culture organized, designed, shifting to the center
to target the American left, started 100 years ago, when the smoke cleared from World War
I, and the American establishment stopped worrying about the threat from Germany, and
they looked at the threat from within.
They'd been worried about America becoming less Anglo-Saxon for a long time, but they
figured Jim Crow and the United States Army were doing a good enough job of keeping
black and indigenous people in their places, by which they meant far enough from
anywhere, it might impact the pretty privileged establishment.
The waves of immigration from the very much not Anglo-Saxon parts of Europe were pouring
into American cities, and they brought something that couldn't be so easily contained, ideas,
about the relationship of governments to the governed, about how capital and property
and assets determine how power gets distributed, about communism and socialism, and the
rate of workers to organize and fight for what they deserve, against the people trying
to keep those rights away from them, the establishment.
And they, the establishment, already had an instrument to do all that work.
The National Security League.
It was not a grassroots club of concerned citizens.
It was created in 1914 by a corporate lawyer and an Army general, because of course, with
plenty of help from politicians and publishers and great men.
Elihu Root, former Secretary of State and Secretary of War, he gave it prestige.
We had a Roosevelt gave it noise.
The presidents of Harvard and Columbia and Johns Hopkins and others and bankers and governors
and industrialists, they all gave it committee members.
Simon Guggenheim, Henry Frick and the Vanderbilt fortune gave it money, K.P. Morgan gave it
more.
And their first job, selling a European slaughter to an isolationist American public.
But after that war, they turned to the home front.
And the next threat, the American left.
And they had events to work with, the Russian Revolution, the Seattle General Strike,
the steel strikes, the Wall Street bombing of 1920,
the growth of the Socialist Party and the Wobblies.
So they decided that any worker asking for an eight hour day
and a living wage was a sleeper agent for the Bolsheviks.
All that variety of grievance.
And any kind of anti-war dissent,
any kind of demand for conscientious objection,
of course, highlighted by a famous American socials
American socials by the name of Eugene Debs was not only punished with smears and
attacks but also punished criminally. Eugene Debs was thrown in prison for
demanding that America take no part in this war between imperialist powers.
The dissent turned into a single conspiracy under one-

There was a time, not that long ago, my grandfather's lifetime, when none of those things were
part of our culture. Before all of it was fused into the single nationalist, standardized,
enforceable American creed. Enter the League's committee on...
And there was tremendous ideological diversity.
Something that I always bring up that he's talking about as well is that the American
Revolutionary History, not the American Revolution necessarily, but like the revolutionary and
socialist and workers-backed movement history in this country was robust.
You never learn about it in school.
That is by design.
But there were millions, millions of people.
So this current modern iteration of American socialism is still ascetic in comparison to
what it once was, okay?

Constitution, merging the legal establishment with the

complaining about this but as a historian he's explaining to you that this is actually relatively
recent okay this is new like this this approach was deliberate it was designed and it was uh
it was it was forced upon us at some point in history and now we just taken for granted that's

That's not a clean narrative with clean protagonists and a happy establishment ending.

The Constitution was created whole in 1787 in Philadelphia by framers less concerned
with the rights of man, too much French Revolution and that, than with the duties
of man.
There they created three co-equal branches and a marvelous intricate system of checks and balances
that explicitly rejected any idea of the United States as a democracy.
No, democracy is too dangerous. Forget that it was the one part of the history they actually
outright. To the League and the Bar Association, democracy was a dirty word. It meant what it
meant to George Washington. Mob rule, the confiscation of wealth. Wilson said World
World One was to make the world safe for democracy. The National Security League wanted
to make democracy safe for the world. Democracy uncontrolled was just another word for anarchy.
No, the United States was a representative republic where political power was held by the
bettersword. By those who knew the right thing to do, they would represent everyone else because
they knew better under a rule of law that would forever protect property and restrain the crowd.
And the framers had help. God led the hand. The Constitution became a miracle. The framers
weren't just wealthy politicians haggling over their own interests, having excluded the
real critics from the room entirely.
They were unified demigods, channeling the Holy Ghost, delivering flawless, finished
scripture from outside it.

Convention could fail to see the hand of God in its deliberations. So the Constitutional
Convention became a gathering of worthies representing everyone in America who wasn't
there. Women, the poor, enslaved people, Patrick Henry. And their surrenders became
compromises inspired by revelation. The ratification debates became a reinforcement of unity. Madison
became the father of the Bill of Rights. Marshall, a consolidator of the New Union's power.
Daniel Webster of all people, a defender of it, and Abraham Lincoln, a rescuer of it.
Reconstruction and the radical Republicans became zeroed out. The Emancipation Proclamation,
because it was all the Lincoln's, became what the 13th Amendment, forged by the
radicals actually was. And the 14th Amendment, if they had to mention it at all, it was just
continuity, a simple clarification of what the Framers had in mind all along, which is
essentially John Roberts' opinion in the birthright citizenship case. The point was continuity,
not change. 1787 as the beginning of everything, and that everything was law and order and
duty to it. Nothing the American left to do.

I think we can reach level 15 today. Boys, girls, and MBS and loyalty to that
constitution, the one they made up the fictional unitary constitution became the
measure of being an American swear loyalty to it and understand with that loyalty

But it created consensus it created social cohesion

It's common core curriculum, public schooling, and it's also military service, okay?
Now in the United States of America, military service is not mandatory, and
therefore our understanding of nationalism is nowhere near as as
overbearing as a country like Turkey or even Israel. These are
ultra-nationalist countries, and if you've never actually experienced it, you
will never understand it. I would say South Korea has a similar concept as
well due to again mandatory military service. In the United States of America, we have someone
of a poverty draft. A lot of people still sign up. A lot of people are still a part
of it or a part of the military. Um, but ultimately, but ultimately, we don't have that same cohesion,
but we still try to generate it through our school system. But what's interesting
to me is that back in the day we used to pledge loyalty oath to the American Constitution,
and that obviously is still fairly impactful as well, how people understand America and
being American. And yet nowadays in 38 states you have to do a loyalty pledge to a foreign
nation, the nation of Israel. No other country has similar laws. I'm obviously referencing
the anti-BDS laws, boycott, divestment and sanctions laws that exist. Like for example,
the state of Texas, if you want to be a school teacher in a public school, you have to sign
a loyalty oath to pledge that you will never demand boycotts, demand sanctions, and demand
divestments from the state of Israel. It's unbelievable. It's ridiculous. It's totally
ridiculous. And yet it exists. 1930, that had become 43 of 48 states, almost 5 million
students. A quarter million copies of the league's constitutional catechism distributed.
And teachers who wouldn't take the oath fired. The pledge, the flag salutes, daily
virtualized acts of submission to the nation, Constitution Day became a holiday. They all
turned ideological descent into a cultural crime and triggered structural social change
were the ever passing a constitutional amendment.
And the aim was clear.
As one of the leaders said, a school
should no more graduate a student without faith
in American government than a seminary
should graduate a minister without faith in God.
That there laid the foundation of our modern political culture
and moved America's political center to the right.
All of it manufactured a counter to the progressive left.
Now, there was a backlash.
It might have worked a little too well.
By 1938, a lot of people said
they were sick of hearing about the Constitution.
And the right was also using it to attack the New Deal, especially after FDR tried to pack the courts.
So liberals in the establishment, not wanting to let a good thing go to waste,
rushed to claim the Constitution as their turf,
still law and order, just their version of law and order,
to defend the New Deal and all that governmental power using ways that they agreed with.
The right shifted the field and defined it.
The establishment left moved on to it and camped out and never left.
Then World War II shook things up, and not in a good way.
The establishment had to pivot back to fighting Germany,
20 years after they'd stopped.
And there was a bigger wrinkle this time.
The communists were on America's side.
The American left had a stronger claim to anti-fascism
than any other group in America.
And the same white America the League had been reshaping
seemed to have little interest in fighting Germany again.
So, dust off 1776 and layer it over 1787.

The pivot from a constitution of law and order
to a patriotic fight of freedom versus tyranny.

Back comes Jefferson, literally, when his memorial went up in Washington in 1943.
At the dedication, FDR said Jefferson proved that the seeming eclipse of liberty can well

That was what the American Revolution became.
It wasn't about the mechanics of the Constitution anymore, and it still wasn't about the
real history of the whole thing.
It was about a bloody crusade for the soul of humanity.
Jefferson was no longer the dangerous author of Altar or Abolish.
He was the apostle of freedom enlisted in America's global war.
And that worked, too.
Think of it as a new filter placed in our political culture.
The establishment that spent the 1920s teaching obedience to the Constitution now had workers
and soldiers in America's global struggle for human freedom.
But don't worry, the two strands got consolidated.
1776 has a universal fight for human freedom.
1787 has the victory of law and order.
They were consolidated when the real work of the establishment, back to fighting
in the American Left returned with a vengeance, with the Cold War.
A group we call the Consensus Historians took the 1920s blueprint about the Constitution
and the 1940s messaging about the Revolutionary War and wrote a version of American history
where class conflict never existed, where America was built on a pragmatic, unified
vision of responsible liberty.
They framed the entire American Left as a foreign contagion, an un-American virus
rather than a homegrown reaction to exploitation.
And keep in mind, it was never ever about research and scholarship.
It was about nationalism.
Daniel Borson, one of the shapers, told the Congressional Committee exactly what his scholarship
was for.
His job, and the job of all American historians, was to combat communism by teaching students
the unique virtues of America.
This is the other side of the red scare.
We think about the House on American Activities Committee and all the other stuff, like
the black list, the prosecution of communists,
the legislation against being an outward communist
and also being in like a union or whatever,
you know, as it was made illegal to be a self-identified
communist and also had a union.
But this is the other side of it.
This is the more insidious,
like the more secretive elements.
The US had a strong history of left politics,
Unfortunately, a lot of it was nativist.
Yes, that's fair.
But ultimately, all of, like nativist or not,
all of the left, all of the left politics
was basically etched away deliberately
for the last 100 plus years.
When it became a real problem for business owners,
When it became a real problem for capital owners in this country, that the left movement was growing.
They basically did everything in their power to destroy it, to eradicate it piece by piece.
And that is why it is unbelievably difficult.
Two reasons for why it's unbelievably difficult in the United States of America to make sure that the working class gains sentience, to gain class consciousness.
One element of it, of course, is that America has always been the proto-capitalist nation.
Manifest destiny, constant expansion, you know, small business being the backbone of the American
economy. This idea was always deeply implanted in the minds of many Americans. But the other
reason is this because it was deliberately destroyed piece by piece and tampered with every step
of the way. That's also part of the reason why so many people behave in ways that the
CIA, the FBI would try to generate like, you know, subversives, infiltrators of left
movements that actively seek to destroy it, records. We do that to ourselves now because
it is a part of our core identity, our core belief system. Socialism means you have to
do a vow to poverty. This guy, I don't trust him. This guy says he's a socialist, but he's
financially successful. I do not trust that at all. The circular firing squads and everything
else like it's you don't even need you don't even need a concerted effort to attack prominent
socialists in the media because all it takes is for the media to be like this guy is a bad guy
and then you got your comrades your allies those who are closest to you ideologically also doing
the exact same thing but from the opposite side doing the exact same thing from your side
Do you understand?
American democracy.
He wrote a whole book making ideology the enemy of the American experience.
And other historians joined in.
And in an especially wicked turn.
They reconstructed the American political center as the only legitimate left that's
as far as America could go, and they wrote the radical left out of America entirely.
Those historians weren't all telling the same story, but they were doing the same exact
work.
And together, they sharpened the boundaries of modern American political culture, making
membership in the American left so thoroughly un-American, even anti-American, that the
charge falls like a final judgment, from that day to this day.
And we've remained trapped in that cage.
It's not history repeating, it's not even history rhyming, this is history continuing.
The fight that started 100 years ago is the same fight.
It never stopped.
And that continuity is not some secret organization passing a plan from hand to hand.
It's a structure of exclusion during the work it was designed to do.
Collapse the left into its most frightening edge, identify that edge as the enemy of
what it means to be an American, and require a pledge of loyalty or be excluded from
the whole thing.
Take Piker's arguments on their merits?
God know, because we live in this glorious marketplace of ideas?

He's on the left.
He doesn't look like us.
doesn't have a name like ours. He went to Rutgers for Christ's sake, not Sawani or Vandy.
He doesn't even get to see at the table. But look beyond that. See the work it's doing
in your Rutgers call out your life. It forecloses every possible avenue for change before it
even begins, because the establishment is setting the rules you have to play by.
We keep letting ourselves be manipulated by fictions presented as uncontestable truths.
It has worked so well.
Yeah, one of the, one of the interesting parts about this always is, and I, and
And I kind of identified this in address on the channel for interview that was conducted,

When they were like, well, don't you feel like you have too much of an academic tone?
Don't you feel like your movement is best represented by those with degrees even higher
than a Bachelor of Arts, like those and, you know, those with graduate degrees?
And I was like, what are you talking about?
It's actually those in the media that come from this elite background.
I don't come from this elite background.
And I don't speak in the language of civility.
I'll speak in the language that those in the media are accustomed to.

and use my words against me with regular frequency, okay?

This is a fine tradition in American politics,
particularly among conservatives, I have to say.
I mean, it goes back to those of us
that are old enough to remember Bill Ayers

is Donald Trump, who is perhaps one of the most unpopular presidents in American history.

Republicans are taking what he said out of context and reducing it to a 10 second
sound bite. What Asana's point actually was, agreed that it could have been
word and better, but how he's apologized for it multiple times since his response was,
and I quote, if that's the worst thing he's ever said, it doesn't come close to what
I've heard from the Republicans. I mean, he's not even on the ballot. We ended the conversation
with me telling him he should check out a song on YouTube, which he said he will. And
he told me he wasn't going to vote for Mike Rogers or any Republican and how he's confident
in Abdul. He just wanted to ask about this guy that's been on both CNN and Fox
News. This is also part of the reason why you should still continue phone banking
for Abdul, obviously, and for all these other candidates. But this is also the other reason
why I said, like, the power of having a person-to-person conversation with regular voters that are
getting inundated with a barrage of smears about not just myself, but Abdul is incredibly
important. Okay, job's not done. You have to remember. And last but not least, this

for Hailey Stevens. Still no Emily's list backing. No endorsements from 2028ers. Good
reminder that you don't need to campaign with Piker to be dismissed as extreme. Supporting
progressive policy as a black woman seems to be enough. DC assumptions about who can
win matter less and less the voters, but it still has material consequences for investment,
especially in a competitive environment. I'll said one by one point, Nixon won by double
digits, but it's not like that commanding margin is treated as a sign. She was more

party actually was a party that wanted to win elections unconditionally.
They would not be making a massive fuss over DSA affiliations.

you know, cover their own bases. They'd be like, what are you talking about?

But they don't want to do that because they don't want Angie Nixon to win.

using me as a weight hanged around the necks of these candidates,
including candidates who I'm not even aligned with, right?
They're trying to do this.
They're trying to do this to Angie Nixon.
I'm not aligned with Angel Nixon. Angel Nixon is just sympathetic to the left, right? And
they're still trying to do this as an albatross. Yes.
Right now, in a perfect world, we would be out there in Florida knocking on doors endlessly
campaigning endlessly. But we can't do that right now because let's be real. If I were to go out there
and aid Angie Nixon, the only mainstream discourse around her candidacy would be about how dangerous
this predicament is. Right? And it wouldn't just be from Fox News. It would be from MSNBC,
it would be from CNN. It would be from every single liberal outlet. So they've successfully
stopped you. No, they haven't. But to say that it hasn't had an impact would be wrong.
And what I mean by that is this. So you have to obviously keep pushing for both Abdul and
Angie Nixon, Charles Booker as well in Kentucky. You have to join her campaign. You have to
do your very best to keep pushing for her because I fear that the establishment is leaving
her behind on purpose. So we have to continue mobilizing for her and we have to keep mobilizing
for Abdul as well. Now, the reason why I said in a perfect world like when she's not getting
the necessary aid from the Democratic Party, from the establishment, we are normally supposed
to be the ones that come in to help. Because if you don't get the moneyed interest and
the money support from the DNC, from the establishment, from other democratic presidential hopefuls,
nationally prominent figures that will go out the bat for you to say, to rally with you,
to campaign around you, to gain some more excitement, to generate some more excitement around you,
right?
Then we have to be there for these candidates.
Now, there's, of course, a limitation to how hard we can go, right?
The highest package of aid would be to, you know, para-drop into the state, do campaigns,
do door-knocking operations, do canvassing operations, have me go out there, film the
process, get people excited, right?
That would be the best possible way to do it.
That would be the most effective way to do it.
The second most effective way to do it is to show support from afar, right?
But understand that that was the entire purpose of the third way, that was the entire purpose
of these past couple of weeks to make it so that it is costly for candidates to
openly align with someone like myself. So in that regard, it has worked to a certain degree.
It's to ensure that Canadians like Angie Nixon don't get the establishment help,
even though it is dangled in front of them for a brief moment, to see if they'll play ball,
to see if they'll moderate on their views on Israel, even though it's a broadly popular position.
And then to turn around and not offer them any of that aid,
and to also effectively shut them off from more grassroots help, grassroots help from independent
media myself and many others. So I feel really bad, but it is very clear to me that Establishment
Democrats would rather Angie Nixon lose than win in a state like Florida because that would be a
devastating blow to the argument that they have presented on electability, on competitiveness
of left populist candidacies in red states and deep red states like Florida.
Natherson also asked a serious question to every mainstream news network and newspaper
in this country.
How can you justify crazy obsessive coverage of a sumpiker and just totally ignore much
worse stuff like this from an actual presidential adviser?

Claiming that black people are inferior and cannot actually become regular pilots.
It's unbelievable. It's totally ridiculous. This race is double standard. So no. I don't
think I'm a figure comparable to the Alex Jones of the world. I don't think I'm a figure comparable
to even the Charlie Kirk's of the world. But centrist Democrats have designed a media
narrative where I am far worse than the Charlie Kirk's of the world. Not far better.
Because ideologically, they are closer to Charlie Kirk than they are to all of us.
Establishment Democrats are ideologically closer to Charlie Kirk than they are to all of us. That's
why they're ideologically closer to the Trumpian right than they are to their socialist left.

Charlie Kirk, a guy who said school shootings are sad, but unfortunately they're going to keep
happening because we have to defend the Second Amendment. That's a price I'm willing to pay,
he said. That Charlie Kurt. So yeah, when these guys try to make these comparisons, it becomes
even sillier. It becomes even sillier when they try to say like, oh well, you know, what if Tim
Poole were campaigning with someone? Paul blesses. This is a great analogy because Democrats
would run on this, and it would be an enormous mistake. No one who hasn't formed an opinion
already knows any of these people are no earnestly undecided voters watching a
Sampakar Stephen Couter or Tim Miller, Potsdam, America, that any significant number of them
are basing their votes by awesome guilt by association thing instead of a number one,
instead of any number of issues relevant to their actual lives is absurd. Democrats would
run on it and they would fail. This is also true. Well, perhaps what's even
One more important to identify here is that Republicans would not run on that.
Republicans would not attack their own candidates.
Republicans would never in a million years attack their own candidates in their own party
for their own affiliation with right-wing figures on the independent side.
That's the big problem here.
Democrats are the only party in this goddamn country that will actively undermine their
own left flank deliberately, not because it's electorally important, mind you, because
if that was the case, they would have shut the fuck up in the general.
But it seems that they're redoubling their efforts in the general.
So you must ask yourself, why?
The answer is clear.
It is because right-wing Democrats, centrist Democrats, Israel-first Democrats care more
about ensuring that Israel critical candidates, ensuring that socialist candidates, or at
at least candidates that are pro medicare for all while also being israel critical

lose their races and we lose the house and senate majority
instead of winning with a coalition
that actually features

because this is an opportunity to educate people on where

What Democrats must do is focus on the message.
And that is that this trade war that Donald Trump is starting with Canada may cost more
than a half a million jobs in Michigan because those people work for parts suppliers.
matters. We should be talking about the fact that inflation remains sky high, that you've
got 7 million people who are unemployed. And so I think Democrats rightly care about anti-Semitism.
It is a must that both parties should. But we shouldn't be taking lectures from the
other side and certainly not when it comes to a podcaster who is an unelected individual.
Michael should Democrats take this as a sign that Trump is expecting one or even
both chambers to flip in November. And he doesn't want his supporters to blame
him for the shift in power.
It's a classic tale.
He always blames everyone else.
I do think it's a sign just like it was a sign that Leader Jeffries met with Jira Kushner.
I think that's a sign from the Trump world that they can see that the House will certainly
flip and the Senate just might flip.

Getting older, seeing yourself enter a new age bracket in the Hassanabah broadcast. Yes. Yes.
I'm doing January 6th for the census. So, ladies and gentlemen, for those of you who don't know,
every single year since June 2020, and now we now do it in August, every single year since June
2020, we are here at the Hassanabah broadcast have conducted a census. Okay? There are numerous
questions and every year we ask a new question on top of the previous questions as well. For some
of you, this might be your first ever census. It's very exciting, I know. And the questions
are, of course, age, gender, political ideology, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, height, transchatters,
location, salary, education, V card, which is really stupid, but again, sometimes you
guys demand stupid questions and we add them. Diet, whether you are a weeb or not,
neurodiversity, gaming frogs, and years watched. Okay, so it's a little fun. Part
of it is kind of serious. Part of it is really fun. And of course, before you,
Before you ask the question, we don't run any ads on the Hassanabi broadcast. None of this information is trackable
It's just for our sake just to get a better understanding of what the Hassanabi community looks like and year over year
I'm gonna go through them one by one year over year
We have found out that we have aged out as a matter of fact this year is going to be the first year
Where we bracket the under 21 rather than under 18 as its own
bracket and probably add an additional segment to the plus 30 age bracket, age demographic,
because almost 50% last year in August 2025 was over the age of 30. So we're getting older. As
you can see here in June 2020, when we first conducted the census, the 30 plus was only 18%,
percent, only 19 percent. The largest age demographic was 22 to 25 at 28 percent, right?
Second largest was 18 to 21. That was all the way back in June 2020. It has been six
years. This is the sixth year that we are conducting the census. And therefore, folks,
ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls, and bees, we have aged out. We have gotten older
and older. Unfortunately, over the years, as years pass, we get older and older, but not wiser.
There have been some increases in the 18 to 21 category here. As you can see, the under 18
category is the one that was erased almost entirely. However, from June 2020, there has been a
massive drop off of the under 18 category. Part of that is because a lot of the under 18ers
got older. The other part of the reason is because many of the people who are under the age of 18,
well, a lot of them are juicers. A lot of them watch the core boys, formerly known as the phase
boys. I don't really collaborate with those guys any longer, and therefore we're not bringing in
a lot of younger audiences. Many of them have also fallen by the wayside. Many of them have
fallen to the neo-nazi pipeline, unfortunately, from the likes of kick streamers and Aidan
Ross and Nick Fuentes and all those guys to to unfortunately uh less favorable characters
so there is that okay we are becoming twitch japan it's true
we'll work on how to uh gain a foothold in the younger demographics
Once again, maybe in the future, but we'll talk about that later.

The community was much more male back in June 2020 at 83%, and men are unfortunately dying
in this community.

and 5.2% were Conservative.
Since then the number of Conservative has diminished year over year and it's now
less than 1%.
We will still potentially keep that in the census.
I don't know if we should change that bracket because unfortunately the chuds are a dying
breed in this community.

was at 43%. Number of Latiners was at 13.45. You recall this was at the peak of the Latinx panic.

I refuse to say Latinx. I will use the real non-binary, non-gendered term for Latino and go
Latiner instead. And that has stuck as a meme. This is another testament to me,
not fully subscribing to the Woke 1.0 designation because I feel like it makes you look very out
of touch. If you were, I'm a white guy, I'm running around and going, um, uh, Latinxies,
and people are gonna laugh at me.
Asian Pacific Islander was at 9.3.
Black was at 7.8.
Mixed and Other was at 25.51.
That was a huge percentage of the community.
Mixed slash Other category has gone down over the years
and has now remained at 9%.
The percentage of Black chatters have also gone down
at its highest percentage in 2020, the month of December in 2020, down to 7%.
AAPI went from 12% at its peak in December 2020 down to 7.8%.
And Latinos have remained reliable and stable.

tonight. This is breaking as a Fox News alert Iran has now begun attacking US
forces tonight in Jordan. Of one and welcome to the final hour of the big
weekend show. A US source is telling Fox News there have been no significant
impact so far and nearly all of the incoming missiles were intercepted.
This comes after US forces struck Iranian missile launchers on La Rock
Island earlier today. Joining us now via phone is Fox News chief foreign

yeah joey good evening we're tracking the latest developments right now in the
middle east and as we speak u.s. forces in jordan are under missile attack
the iranians are launching a variety of different missiles at u.s. bases there
in response to the u.s. strikes
earlier today that targeted iran's lark island now lark island is
significant because of the location in the Strait of Hormuz.
And according to U.S. officials, there was intelligence picked up that indicated the Iranians
were planning to launch rockets with sea mines attached to basically redeploy mines in the
Strait of Hormuz after U.S. forces were able to de-mine this area.
And so a lot of moving parts tonight, but again the latest information that we can
confirm U.S. forces at this moment are under attack in Jordan.
And there are efforts underway to shoot down this incoming fire.
Terry, real quick, you said specifically missile attack.
There is no information on whether or not there are drones involved.
There may be drones.
They oftentimes will use drones and missiles at the same time to get around air defense
systems.
At this moment, what we can confirm are running ballistic missiles that are targeting
those U.S. forces in Jordan.
And, Terry, just to go off of how we entered in this segment, most have been intercepted.
most of them all have been intercepted thus far.
What is the posture that the United States is taking?
Was this maybe somewhat expected or did this catch them off guard?
We do know that the U.S. forces that are stationed in Jordan have a variety of air
defense systems to help them to shoot down this type of incoming fire.
You have American-supplied Patriot and DAD missile defense systems that are deployed
in this area.
i did speak with a u.s. source familiar earlier this evening you indicated
at this point there are no significant impacts
and nearly all the incoming missiles have been intercepted
you remember earlier this summer there were similar attacks against the bases
in jordan and u.s. forces were killed and so these are
furious attacks are taken
not lately at all by
u.s. central command that is working to shoot down this incoming fire
and previously i even spoke with president trump about this and he said
But it was amazing to watch in real time how quickly these American soldiers are responding
and how successful they can be at shooting down this incoming fire.
A lot of the responsibility has shifted back to U.S. forces.
They're not relying on allies in the region when possible because they trust the soldiers
on the ground who are manning their defense systems and their ability to shoot down
these incoming missiles.

The majority of these intercepts, are they happening over Iraqi skies as they get closer
to Jordan just to get an idea?
Because in order to get to Jordan, they have to go over Iraqi airspace.
In the past, they have tried to shoot down this incoming fire earlier when possible.
Tonight, it appears many of the missiles are actually being shot down over...
I think one of the, often covered, but less spoken about elements of this is the likelihood
of the military doing something that they haven't done in US military, US military history.
As far as I understand, I mean, I'm sure this is happened before, but waves of military intelligence
leaks on Trump's catastrophic war to stop him in Hexeth from causing more damage, probably
the closest thing to a U.S. senior command mutiny will ever see. Yeah, since Donald Trump
is going through the different stages of of hit Larry in policy, it's becoming increasingly
more likely that the generals are going to be super fed up with him because they're already
doing something that they're already doing something that they normally never do. You
You rarely ever, you rarely ever hear American generals, not lower level, not like a lieutenant
or something that anonymously delivers information to a journalist.
We're talking about straight up highest ranks in the fucking military lifelong career.

The Navy's been borrowing to cover payroll.
We are looking at some severe problems.
As I reportedly explained over and over again, I repeatedly explained over and over again,
as I reported, repeatedly, as I reported on repeatedly over and over again since the
beginning of Operation Epic Fury, okay?
A lot of things have taken place so far that are not normal for the American military.
That's probably our last remaining operational institution.
And as we found out, even that institution is falling apart, as is everything else.
The inshidification, shouts out to Dr.ov, has taken root in the American military as
well.
Career generals that have dedicated their entire lives to the US military care about
this institution, care about its organizational capacity, care about its force projection,
capabilities, care about the posture, care about the supply chains, and Donald
Trump is casting all that aside. Donald Trump is destroying all of that. And in
the process of destroying all that, Donald Trump is also destroying the
careers of a lot of these generals.
Most generals are going to have a hard time putting their names on a failed military campaign.
They're not going to want to do it, especially if the likelihood of failure is that high.
This is precisely the reason why even Dan Cain, who is one of the last remaining loyalists
in high command, leading up to the Navy Armada build-up, tried to urge the President not
to attack Iran.
The intelligence community also did the same.
Report after report repeatedly told the President that if they do a decapitation strike in
the way that Israelis want, it will not lead to regime change in the way that the
Israelis were claiming.
The generals informed Donald Trump over and over again that maintaining or achieving air
superiority is a lot harder and that there is no aerial bombardment campaign that would
be able to achieve regime change as well.
Donald Trump didn't listen to those warnings.
Dan Cain went to the media and leaked to the media that we would run out of our critical
munitions.
of our standoff munitions. More importantly, we would run out of our stockpiled, near peer-in-peer
adversary standoff munitions, and also our PAC-3s on the defensive side. Now we're there.
It's already happened. Six months in, all of those warnings have become reality,
and Donald Trump seemingly is still refusing to change his posture,
trying to keep this as a low-level conflict and hoping that the secondary
blockade on the Shredda Hormuz will cripple the Iranian economy so much that
they will inevitably cave. But in the process it's been quite difficult to
also manage the global oil markets. Of course China has aided the American
operation by creating stability, price stability, by cutting down on their oil imports or their
strategic petroleum reserves. They already have less domestic demand than other countries of
similar sizes. Proportionally, they have less demand because of their electrification initiatives.
So, the situation is untenable and it's been untenable for a couple months at this point.
It's precisely the reason why the Trump administration tried to conduct an MOU to pause the hostilities.
Having said that, there are now additional warnings.
And judging by the timeline of warnings until, you know, reality and panic, we got what, two
months until European command realizes there's no defenses for our allies, for our NATO allies,
for Western Europe, not just Eastern Europe, but Western Europe as well.
All of this could have been avoided and further cataclysmic events could be stopped as long
as Donald Trump behaves like a rational person.
But the expectation that Donald Trump behaves as a rational actor is quite unlikely.
Meanwhile, the Pentagon has secretly installed several conservative military veterans with
large online followings and government roles, declining discos or assignments, as they
amplify the viewpoints of Pete Hegseth.
At least this from Dan LeMont over at Washington Post.
At least some of the influence have been assigned to civilian roles that could lead
to changes in policy, the people familiar with the matter said they include Robin S.
Kurt Schlickter, Thomas Anderson, who goes by the online handle, cynical Publius.
Neither the Pagan nor those involved have disclosed the government roles despite the
Trump administration's claims they are running the most transparent defense department.

without disclosing his connection to the federal government.

denoting civilian employment Anderson did for a time earlier this year. They have been
seen traveling for Secretary Pete Hegson's senior service college task force. People
familiar with the assignment said it was formed to examine potential woke behavior at colleges.
Will Sommer also reported on this earlier as well. Part of the reporting revolved
around data Republican, that crazy lady on the internet, Pete Hegseth actually hired
her also as a civilian under the Department of War and the Pentagon to track wokeness
on college campuses, but also to track American civilians, American citizens and their involvement
with left political organizations like DSA. This is unprecedented. In the past, we've
had the FBI do this. In the past, we've had the CIA do this. To my knowledge, I don't
think the Pentagon has ever directly gotten involved in the political activity of civilians
this degree.
So yeah, that's where we're at.
This is where we're blowing the budget.
And the rest of it is going to Trump's idiotic wars.
All the reasons Tommy Vittorz says Trump is now losing the war with Iran were predictable
and predicted.
This was Alex Ward's reporting National Security reporter, Wall Street Journal.
He says, then Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard outlined assessments for America's
intelligence apparatus.
This was part of what I was talking about.
The Intelligence Community Assessment openly revealed to Donald Trump that this would be
a spectacular failure, that no regime change would come from an aerial bombardment campaign.
According to people familiar with the meeting, she told Trump that killing her own Supreme
leader would likely usher in a more hard-line regime open to acquiring nuclear weapons that
Iran would rush to close the Shredda Hormuz, destabilizing the global energy market, and
it would strike U.S. forces and partners in the Middle East prompting questions about
American resolve and reliability with allies.
Lo and behold, that's precisely what took place.
The notes of caution echoed warnings Trump was receiving from all corners.
Top military leaders told the president that a war would lead to casualties, concerns
about weapons stockpile, and readiness problems for an overstretched force.
The Wall Street Journal reported.
The State Department used to be the most prestigious office in the executive branch.
It was a place to groom and air a high-powered office that was second only to the president
in terms of influence on the world stage at the mid-century.
And now all they do is this fucking lame shit.
Yeah.

So that's where we're at. J.D. Pondon added again, destroying American force projection
capabilities, destroying American munition stockpiles, showing the world that we are no
longer the threatening military force that could be everywhere all at once on a moment's notice.

And it's an indication that the Iranians still have some missiles in their arsenal that are
medium to long-range ballistic missiles.
And again, this isn't the first time that these U.S. forces have come under fire, and
so this question of preparedness, they were certainly ready for this possibility, especially
given the fact that internally it was already known for hours that there could be some
sort of Iranian response following the U.S. strikes against Larek Island earlier today.
Tray, Molly here, I think you touched on sort of the question that I was going to ask in
this recent success of demining the strait and also the continued strikes that the U.S.
has been making.
They've talked about degrading the military capabilities there so much so that they've
shifted a little bit in their public posture the United States to talking a great deal
about sanctions.
Do you think we'll see a significant response from the United States now that we're
seeing this ongoing attack in Jordan?
It's certainly possible because in the past, the president has wanted to send a counter
message of deterrence to the Iranians when they launch missiles at U.S. forces anywhere
in the Middle East.
And remember, at this moment, as we speak, there are 50,000 U.S. soldiers deployed across
the Middle East.
There's a new U.S. aircraft carrier that's just arrived in theater, the USS George Washington,
and there are destroyers and fighter jets all over the region prepared for the military
possibility.
But at this moment, the focus for the Trump administration remains on putting as much
economic pressure on the Iranian regime as possible.
And interestingly, this weekend, we actually heard for the first time Iranian President
Masoud Pazeskin and even the country's supreme leader through state media and statements
Bush-Tabakhman A'id coming out and talking about this economic pressure.
And even the country's president said he doesn't know what to say to people who
claim that sanctions have no effect.
And those were the words from Iranian President Masoud Bazaarashgain, and it's an indication
that the Iranians are starting to fill this economic pressure and the new sanctions that
were announced last week by the U.S. Treasury.
So, I know that we have kind of an order of battle when it comes to targets.
The Pentagon knows that.
They're not necessarily sharing it.
But, you know, you're closer to this.
You talk to folks.
Do we view this as an escalation, a tip for TAT?
Maybe it's hard to tell.

what your what's your instinct to you the next step is or can we even surmise
that right now
at this moment this will likely be contained
to a back-and-forth for a day or two
but it may not be the last time that this happens
analysts who have talked about what is taking place in the region right now
have warned about the possibility
that around may try to escalate because
what they say often in state media and the reality on the ground
don't match
and that is part of the
pressure that they're facing domestically they have a domestic
audience that they continue to say to the straight up or moves is closed and
then the united states is carrying out this operation to a through a southern
passage
and actually getting millions of barrels of crude oil from the golf
exported each day
and so it undercuts iranian effort and these public statements that they're
making that coupled with the economic pressure to sanctions the ongoing u.s.
naval blockade that is blocking iranian ports from the persian golf and their
ability to export crude oil it all adds up to a broader picture of the pressure
being put on the iranian regime right now and so this likely will not be the
last time that we see provocative action by the iranians but again tonight
it's important to remember according to u.s. officials speaking to box news
This all began when the Iranians were preparing to launch rockets that would be used to remind
the Strait of Hormuz, an area of a critical international waterway that was demined by
U.S. forces over the past several weeks.
Yeah, just knowing that that was their strategy tells you they don't have the assets and
capabilities they had at the beginning of this war if that's how they were going
to do it.
