gentlemen, sorry for the delay. It's 11.50 here on 9.17, 20.26. It is a beautiful sunny 74 degree
morning here on Stolen Tonga territory at the heart of the United States of America,
Los Angeles, California, West Hollywood. I am a son, Piker, and this is the part of the broadcast
where I will tell you about my personal news about what's going on in the world of the sound
house and I'll be playing between the time period where I press the stop screen button and press
the start streaming button. So help me God, that's what I'm doing. Okay. And before we get into all
of that stuff, obviously, there's a bunch of drama. There's a bunch of media drama, a firestorm
taking place, this Axios interview, there's an MSNOW interview that was conducted.
We got so much to talk about but before I do that personal news wise, what do I tell you?
I'm a shut-ass loser and you already know that last night I spent a good deal of time I got my
haircut hair stylist session as you can tell I got my fuck-ass haircut as always and then after
Uh, the the uh hair stylus session. I uh was uh getting comments
Non-stop from the media. Oh my god, this axios interview all this all that
Doesn't matter
I went to bed
Chut ass loser lifestyle woke up early didn't even work out today
Even though I still have a good deal of energy. Luckily. I had a couple phone calls and stuff I needed to do as well
Well, shot another banger episode of the Fear and Podcast as always.
And we're now live and alive.
Lots of interviews are available now.
Lots of interviews are coming out right now.
There's so much happening.
And we are going to go through all of this.
All of this.
Okay.
Axios.
Should we just get right into it?
should dive right into it. Honestly, folks, big media firestorm will be covering all of
that and more. But yeah, Canada EU Alliance as always, we're going to be discussing that.
What does that mean for Mark Skarni? Canada EU Alliance, despite Trump warnings, price
of war is costly. Gas prices up. Hey, I'm Madness. Congress is out. Streamer awards get in now.
Anyway, folks, folks, folks, folks, folks. Blast off with this. What is this?
Okay, I love it. I love it. Fuck it. Why not, dude? Why not? Let's go crazy with it.
Okay, okay, okay. Love it, love it, love it, love it. Okay, let's blast off. Thank you
for the blast off memes chat. Big media drama, Canada EU alliance, despite Trump warnings.
war is costly, gas prices up, AI madness, Congress is out, streamer awards get in. Now that tie is
fantastic. Thank you. This is my special tie that I got in the New York primaries is a lucky tie
that I purchased in the Kami Corridor Astoria where the revolutionary fervor can be seen
via satellite all the way in outer space. Anyway, I keep saying streamer awards and I don't actually
end up doing streamer awards but but in any case we'll get into it the Axios job
was a hit job designed to be a hit job it's a right wing publication I there is
definitely a level of coordination the guy who did it is going on Jake Tapper
show today to talk about you know how devastating this predicament was all the
stuff. We'll get into that real quick. So yesterday morning, I welcomed Axios, the
right-wing publication Axios, to my home. And I knew that it would be a
contentious interview, of course. I knew that it would be a contentious interview.
It's a right-wing publication. I did not think that it would just be the clip
show for 45 minutes. It was. It's still okay. It's not the end of the world. I
I mean, I think that there is a lot more hype being built up around the interview and the
media is doing the exact same thing that we assumed it would do, something that I knew
it would do.
A contentious question is asked deliberately to invoke a certain type of response.
I respond to it with nuance, the nuance part of the discussion is cut off, and the clip
that they go along with is the answer that they wanted to get.
Even if people might agree with the sentiment behind it, even if people might agree with
the overarching argument, even if the facts are on our side, it doesn't matter.
They do that.
They go to Abdullah Sayed.
immediately hammer him with a quote, despite the fact that Obdolal said it is a separate
senate campaign. I am an independent content creator, a Twitch streamer. Everybody's just
hyper-focused. You're saying pound for pound. I said a larger point. Yes. Once again, there's also
with the MSNOW interview, which went really well, getting a lot of positive feedback on
that one. Axios carries water for Trump's war in Iran. Why do you think they wouldn't
do something? Just the Simpsons interview me on you? Yeah, we'll do that. We'll get
into it. Haters love the Axios interview. Of course, the Earth Tandon is probably nutting.
Let's be real. Someone, please get this guy a two-month vacation. We will have more victories
in November if he does so.
Shanawa says in for a go fund me.
Big news I'm the founder of the People's Vanguard with the Palm Beach County Commission meeting.
We were kicked out of the meeting for speaking about the $1 billion.
Oh yeah, I forgot to talk about that with Nira Erika.
Yeah, here's a leaked email of Nira advocating for Libya war to steal their oil.
I think this biggest quote made you uncomfortable on a personal level because I'm old enough
to remember you advocating, we bomb Libyans so we can steal their oil. Perhaps that's
the reason why a villain like me or a tendon feels some type of way about a certain quote.
Use pound for pound wrong, but it's clear what you were saying. I don't want to argue.
I think it's much better that it would have been first and foremost, would have been probably
better if I just didn't do the interview at all. Having said that, it certainly would
better if I didn't say pound for pound. Sometimes it's fine, even if things are correct,
perhaps, even if things are correct, perhaps not everyone can say them. Perhaps,
perhaps someone with a name like Hassan who is being aggressively slammed into the campaign
of a guy whose name, Dob Dool, should not be saying those things, regardless. I'm too hardheaded
didn't do stubborn to a fault, especially when it comes to analysis and perspective.
And saying that, no, fuck that, you should have done that in real.
No, there's two different schools of thought here, right?
There's two different schools of thought.
Here's the issue.
Here's the issue.
The media environment is unfair.
We know that already.
I know that.
I'm an adult, right?
they're going to do this. So the PR crisis management mentality in the circumstance,
if I had a publicist, for example, would be to never do an interview like that at all.
As a matter of fact, the PR crisis management attitude in the circumstance would be to never
do any interviews in general, not even positive ones, because, God forbid, they take something
I'm saying out of context as they've done so over and over again, and then use it against the
Abdul race. It's not fair, but we don't live in a fair world. It's not fair that Abdul al-Said
doesn't have any real issues in his background, in his candidacy, so they just keep saying
he is doing Islamic jihad. It's not fair at all, but we live in an unfair world.
And in an unfair world, when you shine, when you put up a mirror to the face of those who do not want to see our culpability in injustices around the world, they're going to react angrily.
It is what it is.
is. So we'll start off with the Axios clip. You once said that this is the top dog in
terrorism. This is the this is the clip from Alex Thompson that they were like this is
going to this is the career ender before we get started for the record for the record.
For everyone, pearl clutching tweet about this, there are three who ask, is this wrong?
That's important.
That's a good starting point for this conversation.
But before we get into all of this, remember, every journalist in the media is looking for
the interview that takes a person down.
And considering that I've become the public enemy number one, right?
Considering that I've become the number one enemy of those on the right, of those on the
establishment left, okay? There are going to be more contentious interviews going forward,
okay? There are going to be contentious interviews going forward. It is what it is.
That is the entire purpose behind this manufactured outrage campaign leading up to this very moment.
Alex Thompson came up to the mantle and he swung. I don't think that it is as devastating as he
thinks this is? Having said that, having said that, I will abide by my first principle
that no matter what happens, we must always see the truth, we must seek truth from facts,
and we must believe that people of good conscience will always be able to see right from wrong.
You're lacking conviction in this moment. What do you mean? But like, why are you folding?
No lies detected, but you're already doubting yourself? No, no, no.
I am not engaging in self-doubt whatsoever.
Here's the interview portion that is now being used.
The interview segment heard all around the world.
America is the top dog in terrorism.
Yes.
Do you think America then is worse than Al Qaeda?
Pound for pound as far as the number of deaths.
Yes, we've caused tremendous terror all around the world.
I think that that is not only terror that we are waging on regular civilians in nations
in the periphery, but it's also having consequences on ourselves.
It's having dramatic consequences on the home front.
One clear example of this is what we did in Minnaab, right?
There's no distinction between blowing up a school, triple tapping it with Tomahawk
missiles.
If you're killing 140 schoolgirls, that is an act of terror.
This doesn't mean that all Americans are terrorists, but the reality of the matter is we have to
create an environment of accountability to ensure things like that never happen again.
You once said that America is the top dog in terrorism.
Yeah, and it's good quote, but, and it's truthful, but it doesn't matter because being truthful
utterly irrelevant, especially in a time when people, especially at a time when
people don't want to hear the truth. Okay, here's the thing. Here's the thing.
This was a moment of clarity from Donald Trump back in 2015 when he was running
for the presidency where he sat down with Bill O'Reilly in an exclusive
interview where he said there are a lot of killers. What? You think our country is so innocent? Take a
look at what we've done too. Well, not 2015, sorry, 2017, he said this after he became president.
This was a moment of hard, cold honesty. And at the time, a lot of people pan this. I was not one
of those people. I said, look, this is precisely the reason why many Americans look at a figure like
Trump, and regardless of all the horrible shit that he advocates for, the horrible things
that he says, regardless of all of that, it's exactly moments of hard honesty that many politicians
refuse to stand on that make Trump this unique figure that is almost cult-like.
has a cult-like level of fandom surrounding his personality.
So that's it. That's it. But once again, the issue here is twofold, right? The issue here
is twofold. The problem isn't what I'm saying as a content creator. The problem is that the media
and those in positions of power, whether they be on the Republican front or whether they be in the
establishment consultant class, the Beltway bandits, they will use everything that I say to attack
Abdul Al Sayed. He's an individual. He's an independent person. I'm an independent person.
It is ridiculous to tie us together in this regard, but it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
I'm not running for office. He is. But I have to behave as though I'm running for office because
unfair, unfair, but the media will use this as an opportunity as always to
continue distracting. But as far as the comments goes, here's the issue. We are in
part responsible for the development of al-Qaeda, both with our destabilizing actions, the power
vacuums that we create in the same, and a matter not dissimilar to the creation of ISIS.
We've also, since 9-11, continued to funnel weapons to al-Qaeda, okay? So in that regard,
even their violence is still in some way, shape or form, connected to our actions. Do you understand?
So even from the perspective of, even from the perspective of like how many people we are
responsible for killing, how many people has the American government slaughtered around the world,
world, even with the creation of al-Qaeda and the continued funneling of weapons to al-Qaeda,
makes al-Qaeda's crimes our responsibility to a certain degree.
This is the conversation that Americans intrinsically understand, but those in positions of power
never want to have.
Do you understand?
They never want to have that conversation.
I said, Alex Thompson asked a question.
I give a nuanced answer.
We've armed Al Qaeda since 9-11.
We've made its former commander the president of Syria.
And a lot of people will turn around and say, that's crazy.
Jelani, former Al Qaeda commander, we had nothing to do with that.
That's bullshit.
That's bullshit.
Of course, by way of Turkey, the HDS movement was the movement that toppled Bashar al-Assad.
This is the defense of Assad, of course.
And this is not even a criticism of Joulani's current mode of governance in Syria.
This is simply reflection on truthful analysis, to use reflection on the facts, right?
That's it. He was an Al Qaeda commander and now he's the president of Syria. Okay. And
there have been numerous instances where internal memos from the CIA have been leaked. WikiLeaks
have have elaborated on our our crimes or our involvement with Al Qaeda, including but
not limited to this email from Jake Sullivan to Hillary Clinton. Here's Jake Sullivan,
National Security Advisor for Joe Biden, sending an email to Hillary Clinton. Then Secretary
state where he says Al Qaeda is on our side in Syria. Otherwise, things have basically turned out
as expected. That's just the reality. That is just the reality. Now, a lot of people will say,
oh, this is morally inconsistent. You're not like talking about, you know, China or whatever. There
is plenty of of conversations that took place about China as well in that in that back and
forth in that interview. So I think they just need to wait for that to come out.
I'm very confused about what you say. I'm not sure if I don't understanding it,
understanding or is just true and people are getting mad for being the baddies.
It's one of those moments, it's one of those moments where
Saying the truth, especially if it is a state of affairs that many refuse to acknowledge.
Saying the truth is not the right thing to do in the eyes of many.
Okay?
Now.
Now, now, my groggers tried to make a big fuss about this said breaking comment
obdolos it's running made us on pike just said America's worse than al-qaeda
obdolin is enough condemn piker once and for all I said Trump is murdering
fishermen off the coastlines of South America we continue to arm Israel's
belligerence we're choking cuba to death for no reason we are terrorizing our own
neighbors with an unaccountable Gestapo force the modern-day Republican Party is
is Yal Qaeda, also Trump armed Al Qaeda in Yemen
when he was president the last time.
Our elites terrorize the entire world
while ordinary Americans continue to foot the bill.
We spent trillions fighting the terror we created
to provide cover for our oil barons
stealing third world resources.
And what did that give us?
It amounted only to more death overseas
more poverty at home, all while the military industrial complex ballooned.
Prophets went up.
For the regular folks, ordinary Americans, that meant no money for houses, no money for hospitals, no money for schools, just a growing crisis of homelessness,
under-employment and diseases of despair in the wealthiest country on earth.
That's it.
And here is the problem.
Americans understand that that is the reality.
Americans are frustrated about the impact of this crisis.
They experience it on a day-to-day basis.
They feel it in their bones. They feel it in their wallets. They feel it every time they have a medical incident.
But if there's no one telling them who is responsible, then those on the right that say it's the immigrant that's responsible, it's the transgenders that are responsible, it's the socialists that are responsible, will be able to lead these people astray.
this is the problem. That is why I say we must always tell the truth. That's it.
And unfortunately, in the current media landscape that we exist in, at a time of
unprecedented crisis in the United States of America and large parts of the
Western world, our corporation-backed legacy publishers would much rather
chase clicks and headlines and drive distracting narratives instead of
covering the news adequately or even discussing issues like this with the
nuance that it deserves. It is what it is. It is what it is. Well yes, those who
complain about this have played a role in the theft in the third world, the extraction
of natural resources at the behest of capital, none of that wealth trickling down to the
ordinary working class staff, the average Joe, the average Joe ends up putting the bill
going to work to participate in this franchise that causes so much death and destruction
doesn't see a return on their labor. The only people who see a return are the investors,
the shareholders. The line goes up. People's material conditions deteriorate. It is what it is.
Here's a quote between Faiz Shakir and Nira Tandon. I don't think it's fair that we create our own
domestic problems and then ask other nations to pay for it. You see the adverse incentive problem
here, right? If we think we can make money off an incursion, we'll do it. That's a serious policy
messaging moral problem for our forum policy, I think. Neertanen replies, we have a giant deficit.
They have a lot of oil. Most Americans would choose not to engage in the world because of that
deficit. If we want to continue to engage in the world, gestures like having oil-rich countries
partially pay us back doesn't seem crazy to me. Do we prefer hard cuts or do we prefer cuts to
the head start or WIC or Medicaid because we live in deficit politics and that is what
is happening and will be happening even more.
This was responding to Nira. Sorry, I got the time stamps back yet. 1123 Nira says this.
Phase response 1124.
What do you make of the takes like this overall? Sportive of your takes for overall optics
focused? I mean, there's truth to it. Like I said, it's not wrong.
Coat versus headline is actually the tremendous example, a tremendous example of why normal
people resented distressed corporate media sucks to suck.
the suck. It is an unfair environment. We have to tell the truth, but we also have to meet the
people where they're at and be normal as you all can say. I don't know where that line is. I agree.
I agree. I agree. Your quote to Politico.
These guys all think they'll get the interview that takes me out and they fundamentally misunderstand
the landscape and how angry voters are. I'm a Twitch streamer with more than 22,000 hours of
of extemporaneous, I should have said 22,000 hours,
of extemporaneous commentary on political issues
as well as dick jokes.
We're holding every utilization of metaphor hyperbole joke
or a passing remark to a higher standard
than the president's actions accelerating the cost
of living crisis with his wars of choice.
This is why there's a crisis of credibility
for mainstream outlets.
The most sane take ever and bad actors still somehow misconstrue it. How can anyone disagree
with that? What's the problem with what he's saying? It's objectively true.
Another CNN segment about your clip featuring Dave Weigel, who calls it a landmine. Here's
CNN's inside politics reaction to Sampakir's Axios interview to Axios, where the far left
picture was said America's pound for pound wars in Al Qaeda. How host Dana Bash turned
to Semaphore's day, Weigel, who was interviewed some before he said the
Piger connection to Michigan Senate, Canada, Al-Balaw say it was a landmine.
Said by Al-Said himself, Weigel continued,
Piger's views are that America is an evil empire.
There's a lot of damage around the world, especially when it's concert with
Israel. That is not something that really any Democrat is running on.
It's not something that Al-Said wants to run on.
And he does talk in a way, uh, and he does talk in the way that a lot of
young left-wing people talk.
I think to say that this is just a young leftist commentary is also not
exactly true. Is it truthful analysis or is it a lie? And a lot of people don't want to contend
with that question. They don't want to answer that question, which is why they dismiss it.
Right? Some will try to answer it and say, no, everyone that we've killed is a bloodless,
soulless monster, and they deserved it, where, you know, our enemies are the ultimate evil,
no matter, you know, no matter who they are, no matter how young they are, no matter the
casualty numbers in the millions. Others will say, oh, will I take issue with the per capita
comparison? Okay, the per capita argument makes it worse because if Al Qaeda had the same forces
of America, they'd be far more devastating of a force. This does not factor in, of course, America's
is violence everywhere else.
But yes,
The knives are out now. Here is the OG who are the terrorist clip?
Rosie O'Donnell on the view many, many years ago
655,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. Who are the terrorists who are the terrorists 655 Iraqis
I'm saying you have to look from the way we invaded where are you calling terrorist?
I'm saying that if you're in Iraq and another country the United States the richest in the world
Invaded your country and killed 655,000 of your citizens. What would you call us?
Are we killing their citizens or are they there people?
They are killing their citizens.
Invading a sovereign nation and occupying a country against the UN.
I just want to say something.
I was not familiar with the Rosie's game, yeah.
So here's the thing.
So I said, ah, I see why my parents hated Rosie O'Donnell.
Here's the thing.
The number one best option is to not do the Axios interview because knives are out.
There's also cross-coordination happening.
Immediately those clips are peppered over to campaigns to be like, what do you say to
this?
What do you say to this?
Fuck this guy, right?
You hate this guy, right?
Come on, come on.
Just apologize.
Just apologize.
And then after that's done, there's also the media tour that Alex Thompson will go on.
He's probably going to go on Jake Tapper later today.
You know what I mean?
He's going to do the big Jake Tapper interview.
They're going to talk about how dangerous I am, how much of a terrorist I am.
I want to sound like I'm going to go away, but you're going to start with a voice of
frustration after left wing streamers recent interview.
Right? Democrats will then, once again, run the entire gamut for the next 96 hours, talking
about how devastating this statement was. No one will even address, no one will even
try to flip this over to an anti-Trump position if they want to, right? No one will try to
say, look, Trump has done a lot of terrorism both abroad and here on the home front.
What are we talking about? If we do not hold our leaders accountable for crimes that they commit
overseas, crimes that they commit on American citizens here, then how are we any different
than the big bad guys. That is the argument. Okay. Democrats still won't condemn Sampai
Graf. He said America is worse than Al Qaeda. None of them will turn around and say the
Republican Party is Yalchaida right now. That's why we oppose them. Okay? That's it.
Instead of opposing the framing and being like, why am I asked this question? Why are we,
why do we care about what a push from has to say when the president is saying
doing way more heinous things, doing way more heinous things.
That could be one easy way to address the issue.
Instead of doing that, Democrats who also have their own frustrations with me, whether
it be considering me an electoral burden or whether it be the fact that they are fighting
their own internal factional battle against their left flank.
We'll turn around and lean into it
Yeah, this person is one of like the the DSA guys who said his comments overall are fine
But I'm sorry really needs to understand that he's not a shimmer anymore
And is the political figure who needs to have discipline both for his sake and others doesn't matter if your overall message is sensible
If you give them slam dunk quotes, yeah, the media is extremely bad faith and right wing
But there's no reason to give them exactly what they want like this
You know to shock shock or shimmer anymore my guy
You really need to be careful about what you say and be disciplined let this earn inherent disadvantage in this country
I agree. I I he's right
This is correct. I'm not a baby. I'm an adult. I know exactly how this works. Okay. I know exactly how this works.
That doesn't mean that we shouldn't explain this understandable position. You don't have to engage in the pearl clutching. Okay.
Especially if it's something that you also agree with.
House I thought you agreed to just turning down the language I did the irony of course is that I
Didn't volunteer this information
Alex Thompson asked that question
Specifically to derive whatever the answer was going to be
It was going to be clipped in that direction to be like well your you Hasan Piger says Al Qaeda is is awesome
Okay
Well, you literally explain it completely and calmly like I truly don't get what the controversy is here.
Brother, it doesn't matter. The truth does not matter, okay? The truth does not matter.
What matters is the outrage. Hillary Clinton describing how the CIA created al-Qaeda and
Taliban with ISI. We armed them, we trained them, funded them to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan.
then Osama bin Lana was a CIS a hero the Soviets retreated. Wait, what?
In 2010, Hillary Clinton basically said yes. The people we are fighting today, we funded
20 years ago. And we did it because we were locked in this struggle with the Soviet Union.
True. They invaded Afghanistan. Like,
Brzezinski will openly admit this, Mika's father, openly admitted this back in the day,
and then I had to apologize for it years later, pre-911. He basically said,
well, why do we have to worry about a bunch of Islamist fundamentalists? We took out the USSR
by activating these guys by way of the ISI through Pakistan, through the Madrasa networks.
We, in the United States of America, during the last stage of the Cold War, were able to activate
and radicalized large subsets of the populations that we now consider enemies Islamic jihadists.
We did this. And they were brave Mujahideen fighters at the time. They were considered
brave Mujahideen fighters because they were an anti-Soviet force. Some of those guys that got
our training and our weapons branched off and created al-Qaeda. Osama bin Laden himself got
positive coverage in Western press. And then those guys decided, all right, it's not just the Soviets
we oppose, we oppose America as well. Okay. And then they turned those weapons and that training
against us. This was a predictable outcome. That's it. It's one that many people will regularly
acknowledge from time to time. Stan, and we did not want to see them control Central Asia.
And we went to work and it was President Reagan in partnership with the Congress led by Democrats
who said, you know what, sounds like a pretty good idea. Let's deal with the ISI and the
Pakistani military and let's go recruit these Mujahideen and let's get some to come from Saudi
Arabia and other places importing their Wahhabi brand of Islam so that we can go beat the Soviet
union and what guess what they retreated they lost billions of dollars and it
led to the collapse of the soviet union so there's a very strong argument which
is wasn't a bad investment in the soviet union but let's be careful what we saw
100% I am I'm with her and I agree with Hillary Rodham Clinton here because
she's just saying the truth now here's the thing this was the assessment of
of Brzezinski at the time who played a role,
even predating operations like Lone When,
are arming and radicalizing
of the Mujahideen forces started, right?
As people think, oh, it's Ronald Reagan.
It actually happened before Ronald Reagan.
Now, Brzezinski at the time said, this was wonderful.
This was a brilliant move.
He has a famous interview that he gave
to a French magazine where he says,
What do we have to worry about?
A bunch of fucking, you know, Islam is fundamentalist.
We took out the USSR.
I'd say that was a brilliant trade-off.
Years later, those words came back to haunt him.
After 9-11, he was forced to apologize for that calculation.
He was forced to apologize for that assessment.
The reality of the matter is, it doesn't make it any less true.
That was the calculation at the time.
And in some respects, I would say it's still the calculation today.
My job is first and foremost to say the truth.
So of course, of course I'm going to do that.
Now, the best possible response to that wasn't to say, it wasn't even to use the term pound
for Pound. And it certainly wasn't to take on that framing. I should have just immediately
started off with, look, when you kill schoolgirls, that's an act of terrorism. And our administration
is, should be held accountable for these acts of terror, which is, you know, what I got
to eventually. But it doesn't matter once you get that first answer. That's all they
they need, and they'll go along with it.
Let's see what the blue sky analysis is.
The reason so many people are upset about this objectively true statement is because
he's calling out Olicondias the big other, exposing our confronting the hidden social
rules, language systems, and structures of authority that secretly shape what we think,
desire, and believe.
When these hidden background assumptions are exposed, people get angry because doing so
threatens their psychological comfort and shared social stability that holds their reality
together. Exposing the big other pulls back the curtain on the fundamental illusions people
rely on to feel safe and normal. I'm glad he said this because it forces people to grapple
with what he said. It puts it into the conversation. The only people denying what he said is false
at this point are people who actually support the terrorist crimes of the United States.
If you want the U.S. to be better, you must also acknowledge the wrongdoings of the past.
Just as to become a better human being, you must acknowledge the wrongdoings of your own
past.
So, yeah, that is the reality.
That is the nature of this beast and, of course, those who wish that we all, not just myself,
but we all go away will use this as their advantage.
Whether they be on the right, whether they be on the liberal side, there are plenty who will take advantage of this media cycle
to
Reinform their priors to reconfirm their priors. The real problem was the international brigades. The Afghan resistance was fighting a just cause against
Occupation with the international brigades funded by the US and Saudi Arabia was what brought the modern flavor of Salafi jihadism to the region. Yes
100%
I think there is another through line here as well. There's also obviously the enmity
by establishment media as well towards independent media. No longer do mainstream outlets have
the same level of access and the power to gatekeep that they once did. And that's the problem.
That's the problem.
Rarison L shouldn't have done this interview. I think ultimately the cards will fall in place.
Bro, just stay smeared getting smeared on the timeline. Yeah
Interview overall will have productive outcomes. It might take some time for people to acknowledge it
But I think that will happen. Did Axios ask Abdul to condemn your statement before the interview is even out? Of course
Of course
Axios is on piker on the Axios show mega worst out cut a pound for pound left wing streamer
Sampagatel's access to please America does more terrorism in the world than Al Qaeda the terror network that carried out the 9-11 attacks
Obdol said this is himself for Sampagatel's statement saying I do not agree with the statement on Al Qaeda
Nor do I give much weight to the statements made by a social media streamer
I am more concerned with the dangerous policies Donald Trump and Mike Rogers that are raising the price of gas groceries and health care for
Michiganders
And by the way before people yell at Abdul for saying this because I know people will yell at him for saying this
You have to remember
His name is Abdul Rahman Muhammad El Sayed. The only line of attack against them so far is saying that he loves Al Qaeda.
Okay? Of course he's going to say that you guys are being ridiculous. Okay?
He's running for Senate in the state of Michigan.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Hassan are you gonna cover anything about the golf later on? Yes
And once again
When you're running, when you're running a campaign in what is declared a swing state,
there are still people who are iffy, especially if they're being inundated with a barrage
of smear ads that constantly say, you are a terrorist.
This scary Muslim man is a terrorist.
You have to remember, a lot of people are not thinking about American foreign policy.
A lot of people are simply voting on vibes.
And those people might say, wow,
Abdul-al-Said's a doctor, seems to have a wonderful family.
He seems to be the kind of guy I can trust.
But then they get peppered over and over again
with ads being like Abdul-al-Said's a terrorist.
Look at this guy he's hanging out with.
The guy who said, American Reserve 9-11,
he's also a terrorist.
He's also a terrorist.
Right?
Why else that support is not higher? This is from a Washington Post poll that came out. Attitudes towards Muslim politicians are correlated with lower support for Al-Sahed.
More than four in ten likely voters in Michigan say they're unwilling to support a Muslim candidate for president. Al-Sahed's support among that group is six percentage points lower than Benson's.
More than four in ten Michigan voters say they would not vote for a Muslim or atheist for president
So there are people out there who love the policies. There are people out there who love the platform, but they can't overcome
the
The the prejudice that they have they can't overcome the biases that they have
right
There are people who hear that this man's name is Abdul Rahman Mohammed el-sayed and they see these ads over and over and over and over again
He's Muslim. He's scary. He's Muslim. He's scary. He loves al-Qaeda. He loves 9-eleven. He wants to do 9-eleven
The association with Abdullah Sayed in 9-eleven is done deliberately by the Republicans who have nothing to run on
They are fomenting Islamophobia and causing people who would benefit
from
our
Platform benefit from a left flank politics taking root in American society a more robust social safety net
Ending our senseless militarism overseas, using those resources to build our roads, fix our
potholes, build our infrastructure, rebuild hospitals, schools here in the United States of
America. Americans, broadly, would benefit from that, but they can't see past the dangerous Muslim
narrative that they get inundated with in the media. So here it is. When you're
running a campaign, your name is Abdulrahman Muhammad al-Sayed. You have to
you have to avoid these associations. It's just the truth. I understand it.
If anything, my biggest crime is that I speak too much like a white man.
I see myself as a white person.
I Sam White all the time.
And yet, there are plenty who don't see it that way.
The name alone is enough for people to say this person is not white.
He's Muslim.
And he is Islamically defending Al Qaeda, when I've never defended Al Qaeda and never
will defend Al Qaeda.
As a matter of fact, a big part of the criticisms that I have for the American government is
its collaboration continued, collaboration with Al Qaeda.
Not only rank hypocrisy, but it's also very dangerous.
Well, because we will harvest.
So we then left Pakistan.
We said, okay, fine.
You deal with the stingers that we've left all over your country.
You deal with the mines that are along the border.
And by the way, we don't want to have anything to do with you, in fact we're sanctioning you.
So we stopped dealing with the Pakistani military and with ISI, and we now are making up for
a lot of lost time.
We're building a relationship that just did not exist.
I said in our last trip when you were with me that we had a huge trust deficit, in part
because the United States had to be fair, we had helped to create the problem.
We're now fighting.
Wow.
Because when the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, we had this brilliant idea that we were going
to come to Pakistan and create a force of Mujahideen, equip them with stinger missiles
and everything else to go after the Soviets inside Afghanistan. And we were successful
the Soviets left Afghanistan. And then we said, great, goodbye, leaving these trained
people who were fanatical in Afghanistan and Pakistan, leaving them well armed, creating
a mess, frankly, that.
Yeah. By the way, the greatest gift of all is when you have Republicans who try to tackle
the form instead of going, how dare you? Because most people on the liberal side are at least
smart enough not to fucking try to argue against the merits. Okay. And they'll say this is optically
unsound. This is actually really bad from an electoral calculation. This guy is horrible.
He should go away. All this stuff, right? Republicans, on the other hand, have a lot more
bandwidth to be cruel, to be openly ruthless, to celebrate the violence, right? Liberals are at
least a little bit smarter than that. They have to just be like, well, I don't want to fucking address
the actual meat of the argument at all. Or let's just, let's just try to hyper focus on pound for
pound. Is it actually real per capita wise? Well, if you factor in the reality that, you know, we
have aided in a bedded al-Qaeda and still continue to do so in places like Yemen, then you arrive at
this, you know, calculation that's not off base, even with the per capita argument. Having
said that, having said that, Republicans don't have to do that.
You like the median Democratic Party voters, Greece, and St. Piker, to the US cause more
death and terror than Al Qaeda? Probably the median Republican voter does too and thinks
that's good. But how long are they going to keep pushing the old broken 9-11 button?
Will Sloan. Yeah, I mean, the thing that was established in this moment when Donald Trump
won, when Donald Trump won, it was, I thought it was solidified that the war on terror was
seen as an abject failure. It was violent, it was bloody, it was costly, it was expensive,
that people had understood that that was done for profit and for plunder, it wasn't beneficial
for regular Americans, it wasn't beneficial for Iraqi society, it wasn't beneficial for
the region, right?
But I think people just forget.
They just forget.
Or maybe sometimes, maybe sometimes, I'm not the right messenger, right?
United States military operation wars in September 11, 2001 have resulted in an estimated 4.5 million to 4.7 million total deaths, according to data from the Castle War Project at Brown University.
Yeah.
In addition to hosting Sid Rosenberg today as a part of broader effort, court and men
ties of the Jewish Republican community, JD Vase is planning to host a Shabbat dinner
this week.
A reliable source tells me the guest list originally planned to be around 40 people,
has been extensively scaled down, largely to keep conversation going.
Public Vase office not yet responded to requests for comment.
David Grossman says Islamophobic hate speech that would fit on radio Rwanda or the page
of Durst Sturmer calling Mayor Ramdani and America hating Jew-hating radical Islam cockroach is just
fine with the vice president while their politicians must endlessly apologize for a piker. Yeah.
Yeah, no one wants to listen to a professor looking at us. Dleeve explained how actually American
patriotism is bad and immoral. What is this? Religious or Christian culture? People see
atheists as godless and with no morals broadly. Yeah, this is true.
Tucker Carlson is currently saying all this shit even more directly than you are yet
you hear nothing from them on that.
Yeah, because Tucker Carlson has a superpower.
Not only is he the perfect wasp down to the backdrop of his studio set and the flannel
shirts that he wears and his extracurriculars such as fly fishing.
Carlson is also a lifelong conservative.
Thugger Carlson is a lifelong conservative and was the most prominent conservative
broadcaster in the country for multiple decades.
So of course Thugger Carlson has a lot more bandwidth to say these things.
That's why no one can pin down Tucker as an Islamic jihadist because that would be
fucking ridiculous. Whereas, regardless of my worldview, regardless of my advocacy,
my perhaps too woke advocacy, people can still turn around and say,
this guy loves Islamic jihad. He is an outsider. He's not a real American. He's not a real American
at all. He came here when he was 18 years old. He doesn't understand us. He doesn't understand
American patriotism, we, the real Americans, do not believe this kind of mentality, and that's
precisely the reason why you don't just hear this from the Republicans, you hear this from Democrats
as well. Right? So yeah, that's one, that is one of the, the, the moments
Here's Laura Trump. Let's see what she had to say.
Piker, the man who said America deserved 9 11 is bashing America again,
less than a week after the 25th anniversary of 9 11,
the provocative podcaster now says the US is worse than Al Qaeda, you know,
the terrorist organization that murdered almost 3000 Americans.
Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El Sayed,
who brought Piker onto the campaign trail in Michigan during the primary is now
throwing that streamer from California, as he likes to refer to him under the bus.
Is it too late to do this?
You're watching Outnumbered.
I'm Harris Faulkner, joining us today.
By the way, I wasn't the first guy to say something of the sort, just if we're clear.
During the Vietnam War, a little known reverent by the name of Martin Luther King Jr. was
asked about America's place on the global stage, he said, and rightly so. What about Vietnam?
They asked if our own nation wasn't using massive doses of violence to solve its problems,
to bring about the changes it wanted. Their questions hit home, and I knew that I could
never again raise my voice against the violence of the oppressed in the ghettos without having
first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today. My own government,
or the sake of those boys, or the sake of this government, or the sake of the hundreds of thousands
trembling under our violence, I cannot be silent.
Yeah, everyone hyper-focussed on the pound for pound. He obviously wasn't using it in the traditional
saying that a smaller boxer is best pound for pound. I think it was just his way of saying that
if the scale is the metric, who kills the most people, the US easily outpaces Al Qaeda. In both
of those, in both of those scales is still correct, especially given our involvement
with the formation and continued support for Al Qaeda, but it doesn't matter. It's people will
try to hyper focus on that to be like, well, I just don't agree with the framing. Like as though you
would be fine with saying America is killed far more than al-Qaeda. No, you wouldn't. You would say
that's a supportive statement for al-Qaeda because you don't want to fucking address the actual quote.
But once again, once again, it doesn't matter because this is a distraction. This is a distraction.
This is a way to, you know, dangle some red meat in front of Americans and have something to talk about.
Make ourselves feel a little bit better. This guy is a prominent critic of Israel, prominent critic.
He's just an America hater. He loves terrorism, actually. He's clearly not making reasonable analysis here.
He's clearly, he has nothing to say at all. You shouldn't listen to him. That's the goal.
That's that's the goal ultimately the goal is to say look this guy you thought he was making a good point with Israel
But look maybe he's making a bad point here because think about that you love America and
This guy kind of seems like he hates America look at that his only worldview is America bad
Hassan Piker sat down with Axios's Alex Thompson for an interview and here's part of what he said
You once said that
America is the top dog in terrorism. Yes. Do you think America then is worse than Al Qaeda?
Pound for pound as far as the number of deaths. Yes, we have caused tremendous terror all around the world
Piker went on to say that the school strike in Iran. He said that was terror
He said, it doesn't mean that all Americans are terrorists, but there needs to be an environment
of accountability.
Before that interview clip published, El Sayed told Armani Raju he would not campaign with
Piker and the general.
I do.
I do love that they, they will say the fucking quote, like the full thing.
And then no one even, no one even entertains it.
It's like, no, we have to remain unaccountable.
Like you don't want to fucking hold the Trump administration accountable guys. Is that what we're saying is that's the
That's the most like
Appealing way to talk about American militarism
It's not the fault of the average American. Let's be fucking real
It's not like we have a say in this matter if we were if you were to ask Americans like hey
Would you want America to be a less violent country? Would you want America to no longer fucking engage in all and all of these?
Um, engage in all these acts of violence overseas instead, use all that money to build schools here. Everyone would say universally, of course, we don't fucking want death and destruction abroad, uh, as a, with the opportunity cost of like, you know, building schools here.
What the fuck are we talking about? That's a universally popular position. Republicans would agree with that. All Democrats would agree with that. All independents would agree with that, right?
So even in that situation where I'm like, dude, what are you talking about? 140 children being slaughtered. That's terrorism. Like that's that's horrifying. That's a horrible act of terror. We have to be better than our enemies. We have to be better than them.
We have to hold our own accountable for these crimes. Otherwise, we're just gonna let it, you know, we're just gonna let it get out of control. And people don't even want to fucking entertain that part. It's crazy.
easy. Why don't you leave with that though? I did. I did.
He did campaign with Piker on the primary.
We've seen Piker continue to make provocative comments.
Does else I need to do more to distance himself from Piker?
Okay. I want to say this at this point.
I'm so sick of talking about Hassan Piker and I want Hassan Piker to go away.
I don't know what he had to do that interview.
Everything he said in that interview is deep.
Look, the bombing of the school in Iran was horrific.
We shouldn't be in the war in Iran.
We continue to vote for it.
This election is about to end.
Dull, El Siyad, Nassan, Piper.
I want, when he said, I think Israel's got a right
to insist quite frankly, the things he has said
about women are horrific.
I don't want to see it.
I keep telling people, someone explained to me
why he has so many followers.
But he is not, if he wants to see Abdullah El Siyad elected,
stop going on television.
Abdul has got to make it clear that he does not agree with the things that he has said.
He has done that.
He's done that.
He even said he's not going to campaign with me.
He has no plans to campaign with me in the general, which is of course understandable,
but it doesn't stop the conversation.
No matter what happens, no matter what happens, like the media is always going to do this.
Okay?
Part of the reason for why they're doing this is so that AOC thinks twice before making
a run for 2028 and then having any sort of affiliation with someone like myself, part
of it is so that other progressive candidates, other socialist candidates also think twice.
The difference, of course, is that if you are a socialist candidate, these are the types
of things that you're going to address regardless, right?
So it's important for those on the left to understand what this contentious media environment
is going to look like, how people are going to come after us over and over again, and
what we must do, right?
Talking about a son, Piker and a son, Piker would just go away so we could talk about
the issues that are at stake in November, which is about making sure that if somebody
sick in this country, they can go to the doctor when they need to go to the doctor.
I sense your frustration with the situation. He did campaign with him in the primary.
See, that's why. No matter what happens, they're really well, they campaign with him, right?
Like no matter what, that's always going to be the case. They're really well, they campaign
with him, he campaign with him, he campaign with him, he should apologize, right? He should
apologize. What they're trying to get out of Abdul here is not like a full blown condemnation
or anything like that, like he has, he's done plenty of distancing, right? And also I'm,
I'm being treated like a hostile and foreign entity. I'm an American dude. What the fuck
are we doing? I'm a motherfucking American. Okay. I'm an American citizen. I love this
fucking country. I want to make the necessary changes to make this country better for all
Americans, not just the hand selected few that suck up all of the wealth and all of
power in this goddamn country. Okay? I'm an American taxpayer. I'm an American citizen.
I'm an American voter. I have a lot of fans in multiple states, including in Michigan.
They happen to like Abdul El Sayed. I like Abdul El Sayed. I have disagreements with Abdul
El Sayed. They make it seem like I'm this like foreign agent. It's so crazy.
Thugger Carlson endorsed Abdullaus Ed. It didn't make the fucking rounds. One must ask the question why.
And that's why I'm trying to be an edge lord right now. I'm not being a fucking edge lord. What are
you talking about? What are you talking about?
They haven't mentioned you in any of the ads I've seen against Abdul. Well, brother, you're one of the lucky very few. Okay.
Virtually all the attack ads against Abdul are just attack ads against me. Unfortunately.
By the way, this is not the first, this is not the first iteration, okay?
The New York Times op-ed, the New York Times editorial board literally fucking wrote a
speech or wrote an opinion editorial after Martin Luther King's famous Vietnam speech,
a portion of which we read earlier.
And they basically said stick to the civil rights, big dog.
This is above your pay grade.
They literally told him that he was unpatriotic and he should shut the fuck up and that this
actually harms his efforts, harms his efforts of gaining prominence in the civil rights
front. Okay? They literally did that. The point is, no matter who it is, no matter who
the figure is, no matter how we reflect on them now, right? No matter how we reflect
on their historical contributions currently. While someone is ruffling feathers, while
someone is ruffling feathers, especially critiquing American foreign policy in this way, no matter
how truthful, people are going to get fucking mad. You've been doing this anti-imperialist
commentary for over a decade. These people just want to sit in their empire and never
be confronted with the war crimes. Fuck them. I mean, you can't just say fuck them. Okay.
doesn't work that way. It doesn't work that way. So, you know, our job isn't to say we're morally
righteous. Shut the fuck up and listen. Our job is to get people to listen and to get people to
understand. Otherwise, you can never marshal enough numbers to be an undeniable force that will be
the necessary change that we want to see, right? So, I totally take acknowledgement over that
reality, I recognize it, okay? We just have to be steadfast. This doesn't mean we have
to be annoying. I'm not going to be like, oh, how dare you, like, you know, why don't
you shut the fuck up? I'm not going to say that unless it's a fan. And in which case,
if they're falling for the negative framing and then start freaking the fuck out, then,
you know, you need to dial it back because that's your worldview as well. They're attacking
not just myself, but many other people such as yourself and many more people that have never even encountered
My commentary who feel the same fucking way
If this doesn't shut down the demoperative accusations, I don't know what will amount
No, those people that say I'm a Democratic Party operative are just I'm sorry to say this
mentally kind of ill, okay? So it doesn't necessarily matter what, how hard
Democrats come after me. It doesn't matter at all. They're, those guys are not of
sound mind and body, and they're also not even a relevant force in American
politics, okay? They're just a bunch of goofies on fucking Twitter with, with
extreme takes, or they try to like push the envelope to the best of their
ability in an increasingly smaller orbit.
It feels like these interviews are more harmful to the movement than helpful if what you are
saying is correct is going to be another thing Abdul will have to answer for.
Next time, when someone asks me, you've said America is the big bad. America has contributed
to a lot of terror. I will sit there and say America has only engaged in righteous violence.
America has done nothing wrong and all of our enemies deserve to die.
I will say untruthful things instead, because it offends the sensibilities of others who hear it.
I'm not running for the Michigan Senate seat. I'm not running for president.
I'm not more conservative as political strategy than I am with speaking the truth. Sorry, but that's not my job and not my lane. If he wants to moderate for Michigan, that's his business, but I'm not going to tell lies about American Empire suggests that everyone else do so at what cost do we lose ourselves in this place.
in this place is a conversation that needs to happen not only now but yesterday so I'm fine with this on having that conversation before I felt
Like after campaigning with them
He should be a little bit more careful of what he says but things have changed the last month a lot of distance has been created between the two of
Them including distance obelisk chosen to create and also the media has been throwing punch after punch in a daily base
So the son I think he gets to respond and express himself as he chooses. I mean, yeah, but I am still very
Guys, I'm very cognizant of the the false ties and false association
with whatever I say going forward with Abdullal said for the next 40 days, okay?
So we do have to bunker down is true
But in moments like this when there are far more eyeballs far more attention
It is also an opportunity to platform the truth to a much broader audience
So it's pertinent that we do so
Well, still being cognizant of the unfair nature of this contentious hostile media environment
and how these associations are forced upon Abdul-al-Sayed, who is being desperately presented
as a radical Islamic terrorist due to his ethnicity, due to how he prays, it's just the fucking truth.
Okay, that's it.
But yeah, I am far from the first and I will definitely not be the last person who speaks
on the crimes of our American elites at the the hest of capital owners for profit and plunder,
okay? And get yelled at for it. It's just going to always happen, but sometimes these
conversations need to take place. You could say, well, is it appropriate to have it in
contentious election cycle and I think you're right. It's not the best time and place. Sometimes it's okay to keep your head down.
That's true.
We can't just always cry to the referee and be like, well, it's a fucking, you know, it's it's an unfair world.
It's an unfair world where people are making this false association. They're using this to attack Abdul and this like super sinister way.
Super aggressive and Islamophobic. Wait, it's true.
Shadi Hamid, comments for the Washington Post is technically true that the U.S. will kill more
civilians than Al Qaeda, as Sun Sun says. But because the U.S. is a superpower of 350 million
people and Al Qaeda is a relatively small terror group, it's comparing apples to oranges. Also,
key difference to U.S. policymakers for all their faults do not deliberately try to kill
Muslim civilians. Al Qaeda does. This is wrong. We do deliberately kill civilians. Our government
does deliberately kill civilians. I think it's totally false to say this. It hurts people's
feelings to hear it, but I think many Americans of good conscious understand that they have
no say in the matter and we're trying to change that. Okay? As a matter of fact, the example
I used is a deliberate targeted killing of children. If you triple tap a school, that
means you acknowledge that you shot a school with a tomahawk missile and then you shot
at the people that were going through the fucking rubble twice. Okay? Adam Johnson also
posed a very good question. He says, question Shadi, do you think after the U.S. Israel
genocide in Gaza killed its 10,000th child in January of 2024, then the U.S. proceeded
to block ceasefire resolutions to send another $10 billion more in arms of the IDF. This
was the U.S. perhaps deliberating killing the next 10,000 children. The purpose of a
system is what it does, just because U.S. violence is not accompanied by bond villain
speeches of murdering innocents, in the way that Trump does, by the way. Trump does deliver
those bond villain speeches. Doesn't mean that they don't target civilians as policy.
This, as well, is what sieges and sanctions are by definition.
It's euphemistically called threat deterrence.
The British called it the moral effect, but grinding down and punishing civilian populations
to extract concessions from military actors is absolutely U.S. policy, and we know that
because we keep killing thousands of civilians.
Yeah, Noam Chomsky said it as well.
He said it best.
matter of fact, if you look at the scale of violence committed by the United States, there's
no comparison. If we look at the definition of terrorist acts in the US law, it turns
out that the US is a leading terrorist state. There are many others out there as well. We
happen to be the most powerful one. But to say, well, we're the largest country and the
most powerful force, so that's why we get to kill the most civilians is ridiculous.
It is because we are the largest country and the or the largest military and the most powerful
country on the planet, that we have a higher standard that we must set for ourselves. That's
my point. It might cause a little bit of discomfort to acknowledge that reality, but until we
acknowledge that reality, we can't make the necessary changes, especially when these actions,
left unquestioned also have harmful consequences on the home front as well.
It is tremendous harmful consequences on the home front. It's not like we're, you know,
slaughtering 10,000, 20,000, 30,000 children overseas and then that magically puts 10 grand
in every American's pocket. Now, that wouldn't make it righteous. That wouldn't make it just
defiable either, it would still be an immoral crime, one that everyone must
oppose. Having said that, there are literally negative consequences for
wasting all of our resources and all of our productive output on waging war and
killing civilians. That's the other side of the story. So that's part
of the reason why once again Americans fancy themselves to be relatively
peaceful people, relatively anti-war people, and outside of that, Americans by and large
understand that the global war on terror was an abject failure for this reason, even if
they didn't consider the death and destruction abroad, they considered what we spent all
All of our resources on.
40 plus days remaining in the election, of course, the conversation is going to be weaponized
against a person who is not a part of this conversation at all.
A person that I'm not working with, a person that I'm not collaborating with, someone that
I have disagreements with, but an independent actor nonetheless.
Abdullal Sayed is an adult.
He's running for Senate in the state of Michigan.
He is a totally independent person for me.
I'm an independent media platform.
But no matter what happens, there will be this forcible merger because they don't have
anything to attack him on.
And they have to tie him to Islamic, radical Islamic, jihadist terror over and over and
over again.
Democrats are hoping far left streamer Hassan Piker will just stay quiet.
Much to the delight of Republicans, he's not.
And he's giving those Republicans, especially in Michigan, a lot to work with.
The latest example, what do you say in an interview with Alex Thompson at Axios?
Do you think America then is worse than Al Qaeda?
Pound for pound, as far as the number of deaths, yes, we have caused tremendous terror all
around the world.
One clear example of this is what we did in Minna, right?
There's no distinction between blowing up a school, triple tapping it with Tomahawk
missiles.
If you're killing 140 schoolgirls, that is an act of terror.
This doesn't mean that all Americans are terrorists, but the reality of the matter is we have to
create an environment of accountability to ensure things like that never happen again.
Dave Weigel, I know you've spoken to Hasan Piker as well.
I should just say that El Sayed's campaign did put out a statement saying that he doesn't
agree with his sentiment on al-Qaeda, probably because he's running in a democracy to be
part of a democratically elected government other than as opposed to al-Qaeda, which is
an actual terrorist organization.
And this is a landmine that El Sayed has said for himself,
because he decided to bring Piker to Michigan.
That's one thing I talked to Piker about.
A lot of candidates have been inviting in.
Those candidates have mostly been in plus 30
Democratic seats, plus 40 Democratic seats.
El Sayed, and you can go back and watch the clips
of their tour, said, I'm not interested in denouncing people.
He kind of bundled it together with cancel culture.
I'm not going to denounce everything somebody says
just the way that Republicans don't denounce everything
Trump says.
And these are different, these come from a different place.
Piker's views are that America is an evil empire
that does a lot of damage around the world,
especially when it's in concert with Israel.
That's not something that really any Democrat is running on.
It's not something that I'll say it wants to run on.
And he does talk in the way a lot of young,
left-wing people talk.
Look at polls and look at what people think
of American foreign policy in Israel if they're under 30.
That's not where most voters are.
Look at the same polls of people over 60.
And that is the risk that I'll say I created for myself.
You've seen, he's tried to dismiss him as a Twitch streamer.
Republicans just keep going back to that clip when he was much more confident of his ability
to say, I'm willing to campaign with controversial people.
What's wrong with that?
In my history of religion class, we're watching Gandhi right now and there's a scene where
Gandhi's marching and the Brits come running up and horse and the prisoners get down because they know the horses won't trample
down. All I could think is the horses have more humanity than these monsters. Who are the real savages here? The real beasts?
It's a good take.
I still do believe that a big part of the reason why, um, a big part of the reason why everything that, uh, is, is, um,
Dana Bash has so much contempt for you. Of course, I call her Dana Fash. Of course, she's a massive supporter of Israel.
Again, a lot of the arguments that are playing out on the timeline are not actually arguments about the issue itself.
For many of them, it's actually about taking revenge, taking revenge on people that have made them feel small, that have made their movement look ridiculous,
made their movement look barbaric because it is barbaric. If you're pro-Israel, for example, this is a wonderful opportunity to say,
say look see another guy who's critical of Israel Muslim by the way loves
terrorism loves Islamic terror I never said I agree with al-qaeda I disagree
I've died they're fucking monsters
a lot of people with strong feelings about electability and pretty much no
feelings about all the people are government murders around the world
Yes. Read the comment. He once said that. Let's see what the, yeah, let's see what the comments
are saying. Where's the full interview? Even if you're a Republican, you should be able to acknowledge
that he's telling facts here. Trump ran on no more wars precisely because everyone except for
hardcore ideologues know that America's foreign policies are responsible for the death of millions
without any real benefit. Some tigers tell the truth. America stopped falling for these right-wing
hacks. They don't care about you. 9-11 was horrific, but how many attacks similar to that has America
down on other countries around the world speaking through the power.
Asana's right, America's living in the heart of empire.
Never forced to reckon with the harm.
Like, I don't think a lot of these guys are fucking tankies or campus or whatever the
fuck. I think there's plenty of regular ass Americans who also understand this reality.
I genuinely do believe that. I think there are many Americans out there.
What? I lost to Hassan Piker.
My party, just like the Iranian and Israel now, but right now, I feel like I lost to
his son, Piker.
I mean, you know, I heard what he said yesterday, that America is worse than Al Qaeda.
Democrats will defend him, campaign with him, or won't criticize him now.
What realities is guy living in because Democrats won't criticize me?
It's such a funny thing to say.
It's so unbelievably wrong.
What Democrat hasn't fucking criticized me, my man?
God, he is such a stupid ogre.
It's so funny.
It's funny that he said he lost, though.
funny admission. He's not allowed to watch TV unsupervised. At least in that
in that moment of stupidity, there is a brief moment of honesty because it is true.
Yes, a lot of Democrats see the fucking truth like voters, okay?
Reading comments on Facebook Reels post from the New York Post account, those comments are even more supportive.
Yeah, I mean look, we can't, we can't assume that just because the comments are on our side that like every American is gonna recognize that because
We're not trying to, if we're looking at this as a simple electoral calculation,
if we're looking at this as a simple electoral calculation for the assessment of Alex Thompson
in the Axio show, this is an electoral act. They're doing this to manufacture an outcome that is
desirable for them against a person who's critical of Israel in the Michigan Senate race. They want
Mike Rogers to win, and that is precisely the reason why it was the clip show, right?
precisely the reason why there's a clip show. And for that reason, the goal there, sorry,
is not to appeal to every American or to appeal to internet comments. The goal there is to
tie me falsely back to Abdul El Sayed and then present Abdul El Sayed as a dangerous terror
supporter, like a terrorism lover, Islamic terrorism lover, and then scare off those in the margins,
scare off the barbers and debas, the 55-plus-year-old white ladies, kind white ladies who like Abdel El Sayed
and want to like Abdel El Sayed but are a little scared because he's Muslim.
Let's be real, there is an impact, as I always like to say, if you
are of a marginalised background. If you are of a marginalised background, that is always
going to be a real hurdle for you, but hurdles can be climbed over. Okay? The best possible
thing to do, of course, is to avoid unnecessary landmines, unnecessary tension.
And yes, the reality, the matter is, what's holding Abdul-Assad back is his Muslim background.
What's holding Abdul-Assad back is not his affiliation with me. It's not his past affiliation
with me. It's not, you know, what he has said is not his policy, certainly, right? What's holding him
back is the fact that his name is Abdul Rahman Mohammed al-Sayed.
He's brown and he's Muslim at a time when there is an unprecedented amount of open outward
Islamophobia with no interest whatsoever from liberal media and liberal outlets to address
this dynamic to address this reality.
is the problem, right? That's the issue. If his name was Abe and mine was Hank, this
would not be as contentious. If Abdulrahman al-Sayed was instead Latino or white, he would
be doing phenomenal. But this isn't to say that we only run white men. That's not what
I'm saying at all. That would be ridiculous. It's telling to the dem presidential nominee
can say we have the most lethal fighting force in the world and that's applauded or
Magikin smugly renamed department of war. It's only when you say America's kill count
as a critique that it's a problem. The justification is always, oh, the people we kill are the
bad guys, we do it in humane ways. As if bombs and drone strikes don't blow people to bits,
or as if terrorist groups don't wield the same justification. But the U.S. has infinite resources
and technology beyond any terrorist groups, all to say it's not even under debate that the U.S.
kills a lot of people. And MAGA doesn't even frame this as a defense anymore. They're openly just
sadistic fucks. It's only a problem when you say any of this is a bad thing.
And I want to stress this one more time. It's not just that we are committing war crimes,
and those who are committing said war crimes are not being held accountable.
It's that when we focus all of our effort on the industry of death and destruction,
We don't focus any of our resources, our plentiful resources that we have an abundance of on schools, hospitals, and roads. That's the issue.
Okay? That adds insult to the injury. That makes it even worse. And I know, I know Americans deep down inside understand that because what's the most common thing you hear?
you hear. Why do we wage so many wars when we don't have money for health care seemingly?
That's like a common critique that you hear from normies all the time. It is that simple.
Anyway, here's Mershamer explaining how between 1971 and 2021, the US killed 38 million people
with sanctions. This does not include the millions killed by US bombs.
to 2021 and it asked what were the consequences of those sanctions and we murdered 38 million people.
38 million people. The amount of havoc we have brought on the Middle East in recent years
is just stunning. You think about the consequences of the Iraq war? What we do in places like
Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, you understand we're using this tremendous economic leverage we have
to basically starve people, to make them suffer, to inflict great punishment on them so that they'll
rise up against their government. You understand that this is what we're doing in Venezuela,
this is what we're doing in Iran. We're inflicting massive punishment on these people.
Given all that, I find it very difficult to talk about the United States as a noble country.
I just don't have any one to 20 21
Yeah, Mersheimer is not a leftist by the way it don't matter anyway
Here's the last take
That I agreed with at the time
A lot of killers a lot of killers. Why you think our country so innocent
You think our country so innocent? I don't know of any government leaders that are killers
Well, take a look at what we've done to Putin's killer.
Of course, Trump is a white man.
Not only is a white man, he's a white conservative man.
And therefore, as a white conservative man, he gets to say whatever the fuck he wants.
I mean, he literally disparaged.
He straight up- Organizers at UT Austin.
He straight up disparaged.
a prisoner of war from Vietnam, a Vietnam veteran, John McCain.
And it did not matter.
Anyway. Israel War, whom is reposing the CNN segment about you?
Yeah.
Yeah, I wonder, I wonder who's really, really excited about this go for class
action defamation guys shut up there is no there that doesn't it doesn't work
that way
Interfering.
Speech.
It's free speech on US soil.
It's been another day that ends with why.
Is that good?
Israel interfering with an American's free speech on US soil
must be another day that ends with why.
On the plus side, the internet seems solid today, yes.
Speaking of attempts at cancellation, University of Texas student group says university is
trying to sabotage the Hassan Piker event.
that I have two speeches coming up, one at Cornell next week, for which I will be in
New York City, and then one at University of Texas, Austin.
Yeah, US Rep Henry Crayar says, St. Parker's University of Texas visit will make Jewish
students unsafe.
But what's interesting about this article, of course, is the fact that they included
a paragraph where they said, I often call out anti-Semitism.
That's wonderful.
Bro, your hairline looks bad today.
It's all good.
Your mother likes it.
Are you being throttled on Twitter?
Your tweets don't get enough traction as they used to, or have you lost the juice?
I've lost the juice.
I've fallen off.
Yeah.
Imagine if a country launched a tomahawk missile at elementary school in South Carolina
and killed 120 school children, then it took six and a half months for the international
community to say they were a reasonable greenhouse for it to be a war crime.
Yeah.
depend a little bit on the dark woke side piker said of galindo piker has said on a
switch stream and his interviews at conflating eight symptoms with anti-zionism is a danger to
jewish americans nonetheless quay ars tweet claimed that piker's presence alone would make jewish
students at the university texas field targeted quay ars accepted more than 2.4 million dollars
from pro-israel pakscord and washed our group chat a pack oh my god this article is fucking awesome
absolutely cooking quay ar
Anyway, here it is, the, uh, in our accusing University of Texas speech, uh, getting interfered
with.
Of trying to sabotage a highly anticipated speaking event that they have scheduled there
later this month.
Online streamer and political personality, Hassan Piker, is invited to speak on UT's
campus.
KVU's Jessica Cha shows us why the event is being criticized.
In exactly two weeks, 2500 students are anticipated to walk in the door to hear one speaker.
Political commentator and online streamer Hasan Piker.
This has the potential to be the largest political event in Austin since like 2018.
And so we're ready to do whatever it takes to host it on campus.
The invite alone has sparked backlash with some state lawmakers and leaders calling Piker
anti-Semitic and a terrorist supporter due to past statements.
Representative Henry Cuellar who represents South Texas took to social media saying Jewish UT students should not be made to feel
targeted or unsafe on campus
But a Ditt Raha president of student group University Democrats and organizer of the event says yeah
It's crazy that like in the state of Texas right now both French
That's running for office literally said Indians shouldn't be at the University of Texas
Like, that to me is an actual hate speech, you know what I mean?
And that motherfuckers running for a position of power.
Like what the fuck is happening?
I feel like we're letting discourse slip, okay?
The more liberals, hyper-focus on their left flank and be like, well, I don't agree with
this, I don't agree with that.
like the right is just going full tilt, Adolf Hitler. The more they get to normalize this kind
of sentiment, and liberals are just left in the fucking dark. They have no way to fight back. It
doesn't make any sense. There are so many pro, so many leftist, pro-Palestinians, Jewish students at
University of Texas. It's woke awesome for fuck's sake. I know. He also said it's time to round up all
the Chinese and get him outlawed. He's just an insane guy. He's an insanely racist guy.
Here's the thing, guys. When we hyper-focus on when liberals hyper-focus on their left flank,
at a time when their right, their actual opposition, is becoming increasingly more
dangerous and hostile to American democracy and really upping the ante, really engaging in pure
vitriol, pure racial agitation, liberals normalize this kind of sentiment because they don't push
back against it. It's ridiculous. We are allowing this poisonous discourse to manifest in our
backyards. We're allowing this poisonous discourse to take root. We are letting it become normal.
It's completely unacceptable. His biggest challenge isn't with critics.
This is the best correspondence. It's with the university itself.
I thank you for your interest in basketball
at all, however the venue is not available that day.
Raja says they've done everything by the book.
They applied and got approved to host Piker in August
and originally requested a room for 460 people.
But when interest for the event exploded,
Raja says things changed.
I got a phone call from UTTD saying that
the original venue we were going to host it in
was no longer recommended,
that there's a chance it wasn't going to be safe
and to start looking for other venues.
Rahas says he started reaching out to larger venues like Bass Concert Hall and Gregory Jim.
All we're asking for is a microphone. We don't care what's in the background, we don't care.
But he says the answer they got every time was the same.
Bass is available on September 30th, Greg Jim is available on September 30th,
and neither of those options have been afforded to us.
With conservative podcaster Ben Shapiro already set to speak on campus at a large venue early next month,
Rahas says this feels like a double standard.
where being essentially soft canceled
by not giving us a venue,
they're essentially pushing us out of campus.
According to university policy
for speech expression and assembly,
rules say that if the size of the assembly
exceeds the maximum number of participants
that is safe for the location,
participants will be directed by campus authorities
to relocate to space that's better suited.
We ask UT about how much support they give
to student groups when organizing events like this.
And in an emailed statement,
A spokesperson with UT directed us to existing campus policy.
Raja says they're not given up just yet.
With the event on the calendar, the venue is still to be determined.
In Austin, Jessica Chow, KV News.
So I also went on MSNOW, clock it.
And let's just say that the host got yelled at a lot,
which is funny because Eugene caught a stray here as well.
um
Did y'all just make anchor face of the fred hampton reveres fix your face?
He's cooking these two obsessed with respectability politics. I like look I think Simone has some beef with me. It's fine
You know, I'm appreciative of the fact that they allowed me to to
Save my peace
I think it was a really good interview overall. I think the the axios interview
Uh, when all the sudden done will come out in a similar manner as well
Well, it's just out of a sudden.
Uh, respectability politics.
I'm not gonna stop with this, so I might as well make something more presentable for older white women.
I'm crying.
Greetings and welcome to Clock It, where this week we've invited live streamer.
I don't know why you say some things are good. Sometimes it's a terrible interview.
whatever they keep asking the same questions and we're ignoring everything that you were saying.
What are you talking about? It don't fucking matter. It was a great interview overall because
it's being received very positively by the broader audiences that are seeing the interview.
They're hearing me out. They're hearing what I have to say. It's a totally new audience.
It's also partially the reason why usually mainstream media shies away from having me on.
You know what I mean? That's why Axios will do this attack ad and Jake Tapper will have Alex
Thompson on. Jake Tapper will never have me on directly because he knows that there are certain
things that he can't say. If he were to have me on his broadcast and we were to have a back and
forth on CNN, he would come across very silly. So he'll send a right-wing guy that he's friendly
with to do his bidding, and then celebrate his actions later on under the guise of impartiality.
She didn't listen to your answers at all. Yeah, I mean, she didn't. It's fine. But this portion
of the interview banged on Twitter. There is an interview with Emma Stelzman. All right,
We're just going to watch. We're going to watch.
Cool commentator, Hassan Piker to the group chat.
Now, some of y'all may be thinking, why would Eugene and Simone invite a live streamer on?
I mean, some of y'all might be thinking, what even is a live streamer? Hello,
Lea Daniels. Hello, you understand? You have some questions. That is fair. But stay with us,
because Breitman Media is trying to drag this live streamer into the center of the
cultural wars and the conversation around the midterms. And Democratic candidates now
seen some of them to feel the need to take public stances on him. He says he's become
the new war on Christmas. So instead of talking about him or about other people talking about him,
we just decided we'd rather talk to him. He has millions of followers on YouTube and Twitch,
but according to an April Eshalon poll, 60% of likely voters, they've never heard of him.
Now he built the audience he does have in the catalog. Eight years of stream of consciousness
commentary available to anybody with a clipping tool by talking for seven hours every weekday,
seven hours. This is a four-time job. This was to stream the night in 2020 that Alexandra
Acasio-Cortez, the congresswoman, jumped on to play a video game with him.
We're just going to make this happen. This is so cool.
First, if you are able to vote, we are here. Iwillvote.com. Make sure that you make your
voting plan.
He has called himself the Rush Limbaugh Presumers. His politics, though, are quite different.
Trump is back to money molestation, his favorite activity. It wasn't enough that he's molested
the money through the Strait of Hormuz. He's going to molest the money directly. Trump
is now molesting the European Union's money once again, announcing a 25% tariff on cars
and trucks from the European Union.
The language is a choice.
Hassan Piker got his start at the Young Turks, actually, and that's a YouTube show.
Hassan, how much worse is the rest of the interview than the clip that's already out?
No, that's there.
It's funny that that was their big bang, I think.
The rest of the interview is not...
Like guys, I said it was the most contentious interview I've ever done because it's 45 minutes
of like addressing clips, but I didn't like lose my cool.
I didn't lose my temper.
I think I answered very well, and that is precisely the reason why the only thing that you get me on is literally a thing that most people understand, right?
There's a Russia vs. Israel clip they're cooking you on. Wait, what do you mean?
Yeah, I said Russia's actions are immoral and unjustifiable.
Israel is conducting a genocide. There's varying degrees of immorality. This is correct.
I just finished watching this and oh gosh, it was one ear out the other when they question
the fact that 9-11 has been memed, which is unfortunately a byproduct of how politicians
use the horror of 9-11 by younger people. I was thinking, they've just never met someone
under the age of 25. Yeah.
And then he went out on his own in 2018, full time in 2020, and then rode the spike of streaming's
popularity through the pandemic. His biggest day ever on Twitch was actually November 6,
2024 when Donald Trump won a reelection he tweeted that he had
7.5 million views across all his social channels that day, which if true
We all know we got keep asking about that data if true though
it would have had him beating CNN and
MS now since Trump's second inauguration
Son piker has been adding to his repertoire. He's still comments on the news told myself cream red pill co-worker about what you said
And that you're in hot water and even said that you're saying it was truthful. Yeah
He said the day politics and online culture, but he also was one of Zoran Mondani's
Earliest public supporters. This is from April of 2025. Did Elon Musk create jobs in Buffalo? Not at the level that was promised
And that's a pretty standard Elon Musk story. Seems like a pretty standard Andrew Cuomo story as well
Who else, don't have me in on that.
That's an interesting idea.
I'm a very contentious adversarial journalism.
Can you back off, can you back off with that question?
Piker has described his stream as a media platform and in the past year or so he's interviewed
Democratic politicians like Senator Sanders and Ilhan Omar, as well as Democratic candidates
including Corey Bush, Donovan McKinney and Tom Steyer.
He went out to the streets to stream the protests against ICE in LA last summer and door knocking
with Malak Kiros in Denver.
This summer, he campaigned for Francesca Hong in Milwaukee, and this one y'all have probably
heard appeared at a rally with Abdul El Sayed at Michigan State.
So take that rally with El Sayed at Michigan State.
Okay, now the candidate staff booked to Tom Piker in the hopes that his audience would
follow him to El Sayed's side.
an event on a university campus is obviously a play for the under 30 vote Eugene.
And every August, Piker has been doing what he calls a census essentially of his Twitch
audience.
This year, his followers say 43% of them are under 30 and 62% of them are boys and men.
And those are two parts of the demographic that broke for Donald Trump in 2024.
Now according to the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement
In 2020, Trump got 41% of the vote of men under 30.
And in 2024, it was actually 56%.
In 2020, Trump won the young people vote.
Some people might call it the youth vote,
but youth is the size on a t-shirt.
And he won it in 2020 in seven states.
In 2024, he actually won it in 17 states.
And that was the campaign win, to name just one example.
Trump did Joe Rogan's podcast, and Vice President Harris
didn't.
Part of all the postmorteming about Vice President Harris' campaign has been angst about the
lack of a media apparatus outside the mainstream that favors Democrats. This has been something
President Biden said about her and other Democrats. People have asked, can Hasan Piker be the Joe
Rogan of the left? But here's the thing, just because Hasan Piker has a fair amount of young
men, young white men, frankly he would say, listening to his stream, can he deliver those
young men to Democratic candidates. Is that even his goal?
Is the conversation he's a part of on the Internet actually manifesting in the real
world?
And is his online aesthetic, vibe, or approach becoming cannon fodder for Republicans such
that he's more of a liability than a boon to Democrats? We have questions.
So many questions, but basically, we just want to know who is Sasan Pikerilli, and now
Now that he has a following beyond Twitch and has become a lightning rod, what responsibility
does he feel he has?
Does it change anything?
And I think the thing that he has done for a long time is say controversial things to
get people's attention.
And that is part of the reason we want to talk to him is the strategy of that working in
a time in which he has become more than a Twitch streamer.
And I think some owner, a lot of people have a lot of thoughts about Hasan Paikov.
Also, they did something that I found to be so strange where they did like a disclaimer for talking to me on their initial
TikTok post
Promoting the interview
They've never done that before I
Don't think they've ever done that before where they were like we're really sorry
There's a lot of things that we disagree with out with us on on and you know
I know he's offended many people and it was just like people were like why are you you know?
Why are you saying these things like it's fine?
It almost feeds into the whole like mainstream media, even like liberal outlets are always
panicking.
Out of conversation, yes, there have been a lot of conversations that he has had or that
have been had about him.
And so we don't need to go through every single controversial thing that he has said.
There are lots of podcasts, lots of interviews that do that and do that appropriately.
And they've done it.
Should be clear they have done it.
So we don't need to rehash what has already been hashed and hashed again.
And so instead, we want to talk about it as a political strategy conversation.
Is it worth it to say the things that he has said that he knows are controversial
if it's going to impact the people he wants to actually win in November?
What is informing all of these thoughts? Before this, my entire career was...
Look, I say controversial things, and they come across as controversial, even if they're true,
because people don't want to hear it. So yeah, and I keep explaining this over and over again,
like, yes, my worldview is considered controversial in America. We are in the imperial core. This is
the heart of empire. This is the country that defended and protected the interests of international
capital. America won the Cold War. So if you are someone who believes that this system's design
is unfair and violent and must change, if you believe that we must move away from capitalism,
that capitalism has outlived its usefulness, if you believe that American imperialism is wrong,
immoral, and harmful to those who are victims of it, first and foremost, in the periphery,
but also the American working class itself. And yes, of course, that's going to come across as
controversial because we have a trillion dollar media apparatus that has existed for decades
in perpetuity, making the same argument that no, this violence is a necessary violence.
This violence to our enemies who are bad and evil and immoral and barbaric must take place. And yes,
we are all going to suffer a little bit as a consequence of that. Yes, sure, you won't have
health care and it's fine but then again you're just you're paying for it because America is a
force for good sometimes it does bad things but still ultimately for a good purpose that's it.
How is what you say controversial racism is in? My friend calling out racism is also considered
controversial by many Americans. That doesn't mean we stop calling out racism now here's what's
Funny about that. I made that exact point in this conversation. Let's take a look.
Politics. I worked, I was one of the professional consultants out there that people talked about.
I've worked campaigns before I went to the White House and then, you know, now I'm a retired political
and I'm an anchor and I hold some shows over in this now. But I, you know, he's never worked
a campaign. So I'm very interested in what is informing his world, his worldview on this and
than not to say that people who haven't worked campaigns
can't have thoughts clearly, right?
Because I think that there's a value in people
who haven't always been inside the machine,
coming to the table speaking up,
because oftentimes those folks can point out something,
the folks that have been in it for too long can't see.
But he just makes a lot of broad sweeping claims
about things, and I am really interested about
trying to drill down, like who is the base?
What's he talking about there?
He said some things that have me being like,
Well, what is the situation with black women?
So I think all of these deserve some questioning
because for better or for worse,
he is a topic of conversation.
And one thing we're gonna do here at Clock It
is unpack that thing.
Always.
Hassan Piker, thank you so much for coming to Clock It
and the group chat.
Thank you for having me, very excited.
I see you brought your suit in time.
Exactly, exactly, that's right.
Willem O'Cazer over here, but that's all right.
One of the things I think that is so interesting about you is that all of the attention that
you get, and a lot of folks still don't know you, know where you are.
So we also want to, for our viewers and listeners here at MS, kind of get into who you are.
You do not have to talk about being maybe the first person in history to be half naked
on the Jumbotron at the RNC.
You know, I've talked about that as well as you want to.
But when you are jumping into this work, because you've been streaming for a while, obviously
things have changed in the way that you want to engage in electoral politics, I'm curious
what your goals are, right?
You went from making and you probably still make a crap ton of money streaming it on Twitch
and talking and commentating that way, but now engaging in a little bit of a different
way.
It's not the first time you've done it, but in engaging a little bit of a different way.
What is the project that you're working on?
is that what's what's going on? I mean I've always wanted to foment class consciousness in America
because I feel like a lot of people in the working class in this country don't recognize themselves
as being a part of the working class where they are entrepreneurs. It's there's a famous quote
misattributed the Steinbeck from the Great Depression era that I always point to socialism will
never work in America because the working class do not see themselves as an exploited proletariat
but temporarily embarrassed millionaires. And I feel like that's so perfectly illustrative of
the way that many Americans see themselves and feel about themselves. And I think that's also
part of the reason why Republicans are so capable of taking real anger that many people feel in
the heartland where industry is pulled out and then redirect their economic anger and frustrations
back to white supremacy, hating brown people, hating black people, hating trans people,
undocumented migrants, and the like. So I think that the real way to bring this conversation
back to a productive place is to remind people of their, you were right, he's going on CNN to
speak, Jake Tabary exclusively. Yeah, I called it. I told you.
Pre-watch biker, some of my newsy comments about Iran during his interview with Alex Thompson on
on the Axio show, tune into the lead,
where Alex will share that part of the interview
exclusively with Jake Tapper, class position.
I have a question, when you say the working class,
who are you talking about?
Because I think that I'm really into the definitions.
It's very big in definitions.
And you know, I am from the heartland.
Yeah, Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson wrote a book together.
I know they're like this.
You made news about Iran.
I don't know.
I don't know what they're referencing.
I'm originally from North Omaha, Nebraska.
I keep a 402.
I was literally just home two weeks ago.
And there are black and brown people in the heartland.
But sometimes when people say working class,
they are not talking about the people that work with my daddy.
So who are you talking about?
I'm talking about everyone who's a wage laborer.
The working class in America, this is actually something
that I always stress.
Because there is like a branch of leftist thought,
or academic thought even, that makes
seem as though the only definitional working class is this like mystical, you know, hard
hat wearing white guy living in West Virginia in the coal mines. They're a part of the working
class, but the working class is also much broader than that. And it's every wage laborer, regardless
of color or creed or ethnicity. So that's, that's what I mean when I'm talking about
the working class.
Okay, so I have one follow up then. So it kind of feels like you're like, because you've
You've said a lot, actually, that the number one problem in this country is, you know,
that Americans lack class consciousness.
And I keep coming back to that because I just, like, who exactly do you think is asleep?
Because I don't think a lot of people that I, you know, grew up with, people that I know,
actually lack class consciousness.
Yeah.
I think when I'm talking about that, I'm definitely referencing people who do not
recognize, do not recognize that they're being screwed over, right? Being screwed over by the
Republican Party. What she's trying to get out of me is you're talking about the white working
class, you only care about white people, you don't care about black people, is what she's like
trying to arrive at. It's a question that gets presented towards the left all the time. The
left is way too invested in just like the business of white people and they leave black people behind,
Which is why I think it's important that I have a conversation like this because I I
Kept this
Entire
I know I'm very well aware of that of what's going on there, right?
But I'm going to keep the entire conversation to you know contemporary and historical black
revolutionary struggle
From this point on being over by their bosses, which is what is important because I think there's a there are a lot of people in the
MSNOW audience who also maybe feel a little bit of this resentment, like the Bernie Bro attitude and,
and how Bernie Crats and Bernie Bros don't speak to the desires of black Americans. And that's,
that couldn't be further from the truth. And that is precisely the reason why I will always
bring the conversation, shift it back to, to the black revolutionary struggle, right?
And some people noticed that they said they let a white man school them on state sanctioned violence and the parallel palesies of black people in
Diaspora and global south the utter shame
Being screwed over screwed over by the forces of capital. It's it's not a new concept
It's actually a fairly old school concept. It's a rainbow coalition
Yeah, it's it's what Fred Hampton tried to accomplish as well
So like I'm trying to bring that conversation back to a more productive place as far as as far as
The the attitude demonstrated by people like I think the question you have is
Yes, black people are very class-conscious and very racially aware because white supremacy is foundational to American politics
So in some respects my goals my job is to try to get people in the margins who are our
are maybe in the middle a little bit on these issues to understand their class position
and recognize that it's not actually undocumented migrants or black people receiving social
safety nets that's ruining their understanding of this like beautiful nostalgic America.
It's actually the way that capital has eroded their civil liberties, eroded their quality
of life year over year and have basically sold them out after building these industrial
towns all around the country.
You have now kind of entered the political arena in a different way.
You've become, you know, the word people like to use in the media as a lightning rod.
Yeah, it makes me sick to my stomach to see a tuition for school to black people on the
perils of imperial violence between Hamas and black activists fighting systemic violence
and oppression.
Sorry, state of affairs says Boyega recipes lost, man, this shit was damn near common knowledge
in the 60s.
Wasn't even up for debate.
There was a moral and intellectual clarity on the unified international struggle against
imperialism.
So the thing is, like, I think there are more radical black activists that, for the first
time ever, have heard me speak on these issues.
So that's number one, because there are a lot of people who have this exact take, this
exact sentiment, and it's going viral on Twitter, specifically on Black Twitter, right? But also,
on top of that, the recipes are not lost. Because if you go to Instagram and you look at the comment
section, there are a lot of aunties, just normies, right, who are encountering these clips and going,
wait a minute, he's 100% correct on this issue, right? So I don't think the recipes are lost.
I think people have this, this understanding, no matter what their background is trapped
inside of them.
It just has to be unlocked, okay?
They have to go, wait a minute, he's right.
Like something has to click.
That is what I try to do.
You understand?
My goal here is to help people arrive at that conclusion, because people are frustrated.
They just don't know where to direct their attention, where to direct their focus, where
to direct their anger, but the anger is real and the anger is valid.
That is what class consciousness is about.
So if I can get the MS now watchers, black, white, brown, the aunties that get their news
and get their notes from MS now to recognize this shared struggle and to demand more from
their elected representatives, then that's good.
I think peace tribe, American exceptions who cooked the brains of black Democrats and to no end and they genuinely don't see that
Intersections of resistance between black America's passives because they don't know how to resist outside of the neoliberal practices that were taught to believe in
Um, I think they're being obviously, you know a
Little bit unfair
I'm just I'm just happy that they allowed me to say my piece, right?
So, it's not my place to make these criticisms regardless as I sit my white ass down and
listen.
I think P. Schreib, of course, is black himself, and it's criticized me a lot in the past.
Perhaps because he has not seen the full scope of my commentary on things like this.
the right and a cudgel for the right to use on Democrats and a lot of folks in the media.
And you are now politically consequential, and I think in a different way, like I don't
think you're the reason people are gonna win and lose, actually.
But I'm curious if that was your plan.
Was your plan to be where you are right now, be someone who is talked about a lot and used
as a lightning rod or has that happened accidentally in these new terms?
No, that definitely happened accidentally because I covered the news first and foremost.
And yes, I have been more active in campaigns this cycle, but that's my primary job is to
cover the news and do commentary and to also filter a lot of people who might feel a sense of apathy
back into political organizations and organizing and activism in their communities and all
also in their workplaces.
And that's my primary focus, my primary job.
So I'm continuing to do that.
And of course, I have a rather incendiary style, let's say.
And this is-
Will you ever call a provocative?
We're gonna get to that, don't you worry.
It definitely provocative as well.
My worldview is also very provocative.
And I think that's also another part of this problem
is that like my opinions are also provocative.
When you talk about white supremacy, that's considered provocative for a lot of people
who refuse to recognize that white supremacy exists at all, right? And it's the same concept
across the board for all of these issues that I care about, all of these issues that I agitate
towards. Agitation in an effort to make people recognize the injustices that are taking place
in our systems. Why do you think you changed the way that you have started operating in politics?
like what did you have a conversation about it? Because we all make a decision to engage more or
less within the kind of electoral politics. And you're a smart guy, so you knew kind of like what
was going to come with that, I assume. Like what was the reason that you felt in these midterms
you had to kind of change the way that you operate? It was discontent. I went all around the country
from ice out of LA protests, starting with that all the way around to even no Kings rallies. I
I went all around the world, really, and saw similar pro-Palestine protests taking place
in France and numerous other places, and specifically for America, I saw a lot of anger.
And we had already experienced this kind of anger in 2016, where people were treating
Trump as an aberration that must be exiled, totally unique to American politics.
I think a lot of people, however, understood that Trump was not unique at all.
He was the logical manifestation of Republican politics, and that's precisely the reason
why he was so appealing to so many people in the mega-base and even beyond.
So I think liberals in 2016 were a little bit off base, but they were resisting, right?
This time around, there was this neutered, tempered attitude against Trump too, from
our elected representatives from our party, from the Democratic Party, the anti-Trump
coalition almost seemed leaderless. There was no women's march. We didn't have the same
like mass demonstrations at all. But the demonstrations that we did go to, the ones that existed,
mostly decentralized, mostly against, you know, ICE activity and things of that nature,
at those demonstrations, I saw something very interesting. They weren't only attended
by young people. As a matter of fact, it was mostly old people that were at those protests.
So that was the first thing that I found to be fascinating.
And I talked to the people that were at these demonstrations
and they kept telling me they hate Trump,
they hate Trumpism, they hate MAGA.
That's fine, we all do, right?
But they also were increasingly frustrated
with the feckless ineptitude demonstrated
by Democrats in positions of power.
They were saying, where are our leaders?
Why are they not doing anything?
And I think it was partially because of that.
And I think about this James Carville think piece
from the New York Times all the time
where he basically said, show your belly.
Democrats, don't do anything, remind people
why they should vote for you.
We will prove the harm reduction narratives
by showing how devastating Trump has been.
And I think-
Can we back up for a second, Son?
Because I think you hit on a lot there.
I wanna go back to Eugene's original point though,
because I do think it's important.
So it sounds to me like you're saying
What galvanized you to get more involved in politics this midterms is because you saw
the people organizing across the country and not the elected officials.
But why?
Why did that make you say, okay, I want to help get somebody elected?
Yeah, what clicked was simply put, a lot of people who had voted for Hillary Clinton,
a lot of people who had bought into the idea of the electability argument presented by
the establishment.
Who is the establishment?
establishment Democrats, like more right-wing Democrats, Democrats in positions of power,
Democrats that don't shy away from getting corporate sponsorships in order to fill their
campaign coffers, Democrats that did not really do that much about Donald Trump this second time
around. This paired up with the stop the oligarchy rallies, I think made a lot of liberals recognize
that perhaps the Bernie attitude, the Bernie theory for change, and even the Bernie theory
for electability wasn't all that wrong.
And I think it's because, simply put, the Democratic Party of Bill Clinton and Onward,
in the post Reagan neoliberal era that had presented a pivot to moderation to win over
the independence, to win over the moderates, that theory had lost twice in spectacular
display to an incompetent tyrant like Donald Trump. And I think liberals were, they were
looking for change. That's why I wanted to join in a more, in a hands-on manner.
I think that, that, that, that is a, that, I think that makes sense. I, I understand
that now. I don't agree because I, I don't agree with how you just described what happened
with the Harris campaign. And we skipped over the fact that Joe Biden beat Trump once.
But I mean, I take your point that people are pissed off and they're upset. Can I ask
you one more definition thing, and then I think, you know, I feel like this informs the rest of
the conversation we're going to have. I agree. I have no issues with that. You told us what you
mean by the establishment. So when you say like the base of the Democratic Party, right, you talk
about the people out there, who is the base that you are talking about? The base of the Democratic
Party are people that have historically voted for the Democratic Party from black and brown
populations to even people who are somewhat newcomers, I guess, the college-educated whites
as well, that in the past could go in either direction, but have found themselves increasingly
at home within the Democratic Party due to the incompetence and chaos demonstrated by
the Trump administration.
So it's basically everyone except for non-college-educated whites.
I mean, that's literally what it is.
I mean, so it's not the base, that's the coalition.
So you're not describing that.
When you say the base, you're actually describing the coalition because I would argue the base
of the Democratic Party is black people.
Yeah.
No, the base of the Democratic Party is absolutely black people.
But I think when I'm referencing the base, I mean like broadly speaking, who is voting
for the Democrats?
Who is voting for the Democrats consistently or at least have in like the last couple of election cycles?
I want to get back you mentioned something. This is one that is I find very interesting
She's not wrong to say that
And it's not even black people necessarily black women in particular. It's black people overall, but
Certainly black women
She's right
Black women are the backbone, the heart and soul of the Democratic Party.
And the reason why she's saying that is for a very specific reason.
She's saying that because in this last election cycle, a lot of black women felt as though
they were being taken advantage of, that they are always expected to be a reliable vote
for the Democrats, and that the rest of the Democratic Party's voters did not vote for
Kamala Harris because she was a black woman. You don't have to agree with this assessment.
I'm just telling you that this is a very common attitude.
Okay?
That's it.
But it's important to have this conversation,
especially,
especially on MSNOW.
And explain our position that this is not to, to, to, you know, cast aside black women
and their contributions, but instead to say that this broad coalition has united principled
stances that will improve all of our lives.
Interesting about you and kind of honestly, like our internet culture that we can live
in.
You talked about being incendiary and being provocative.
You, I think you've mentioned and called your provocations,
agitation propaganda.
Agitated propaganda, yeah.
And that you quadrupled down on purpose.
And I guess walk me through that theory.
What is the provocation supposed to accomplish?
And who are you trying to provoke?
I think it's twofold.
One, it's to provoke the opposition
into taking a position that's more honest about their intentions, but it's also to get
people to recognize certain ongoing and historic atrocities.
One example I use fairly frequently is the one that I addressed on Pod Save America as
well, the Hamas or Israel's a thousand times worse than Hamas.
This is intentionally provocative, but it's also not...
Do you believe that?
But no, but like, do you know I do that? No, for sure. Because, well, here's the thing.
Is Hamas, a religious fundamentalist operation that have engaged in violent actions? Of course,
they have. Absolutely. But that violence is directly borne out of and even that repression
is directly borne out of the conditions brought about by the occupation that's been going on for
80 plus years. And not only that, but I think it's a good entry point into the conversation for many
Americans who also understand that what Israel has done is unconscionable. The genocide is
unacceptable. Many of them are also now coming to the recognition that there's also been an
ongoing occupation and apartheid. And the reason why I make this intentionally provocative statement
is to challenge the previous implicit biases that many Americans have that are sympathetic to the
the Palestinian plight, but not exactly understanding of why Palestinians fight back or even aware
of the internationally recognized right to resist that any Palestinian resistance has.
I know we don't want to get into like a 20 minute conversation about Israel and Gaza.
We have more questions we want to ask, but I just want to go back to Eugene's point that
he said, like, do you really believe that? And you said, yes. So do you understand that
by saying that, that there are a lot of people that hear you say that and say, one, okay,
I think he's being provocative, but too, oh my God, he's endorsing violence.
I think endorsing violence is no different when people say that they, you know, the
Israel has the right to defend itself, that Israel is the most moral country in the Middle
East, that it's a democracy.
It's an apartheid.
It's no different than the way that people argued.
Can I just go back?
But that's not my...
I don't want it like...
I'm not talking about Netanyahu and the state of Israel.
I guess my question is, do you...
It sounds to me like you are endorsing violence for, because you think it's justified on this
particular issue.
And somebody would, that's how I heard it.
I know that's how other people have heard it.
And so do you understand that that's how people hear it?
And is that what you are endorsing?
So this, again, goes back to the same, this goes back to the same dynamic, right?
Structural violence and state violence is oftentimes made to be invisible.
So when Israel as a state is operating its normal state functions, and sometimes it can
come across as excessive, right?
It's not seen as violent.
It's no different than when people protest against police violence and police brutality.
The brutality of the police is systemic violence, and therefore it's normalized.
It's made to be invisible.
Whereas when people protest against the police, that is all of a sudden chaotic.
That's all of a sudden violent.
It's never violent when the police actually release tear gas on protesters.
It's violence if the protesters use leaf blowers to blow that tear gas back at police.
I'm going to let Eugene move on, but I just want to note, it sounds like the example
that you just gave, that the people who are protesting the police are Hamas.
And I just would reject that as somebody who has protested the police before.
I think that this is this is the whole point though. This is the entire point. What is the exceptional nature here?
If we do not have if we do not make the same distinction
About the ANC that also was engaging in armed struggle against apartheid South Africa
What is the exception that we make for not just Hamas, but the Palestinian militant resistance in general and
That is the the that is the issue at the heart of the matter
matter. People want perfect victims, whether they be black people engaging in the civil
rights struggle, historically, whether it be the forces against apartheid in South Africa,
whether it be the liberation struggle in Algeria, the expectation from the white moderate or
the expectation from people who enjoy the order that exists in civilized society is
that people are not supposed to fight back and try to even match the intensity or the
violence of the occupation.
I'm afraid I cooked.
I'm afraid this is called bees mode, the colonial entity or the forces of police brutality
that are defending white supremacy.
So that's the reason why I make this distinction.
That's the reason why I bring this argument forward, because I want people to start thinking,
what would they do in that situation?
What would they do if they lived in the world's largest open-air prison that's hermetically
sealed, that is a nuclear-armed state that is backed by the most powerful entity on
the planet?
I want to zoom out a little bit, because I think there's something really interesting
Um, rhetorically here and for as someone who, you know, you've been very publicly you want the folks that you
Support
electorally to win right and I assume you are someone who
Why not this usually violence against military versus civilians wait what that's not the conversation
Let's be real, there was violence against civilians on October 7 as well.
So it's not like there's no parity between the actions.
Having said that, it did happen.
So there's no reason to talk about that at least in this moment.
It's much better to bring this back to an American experience that the hosts understand.
that, you know, the left wing of the Democratic Party begins to not just take over the conversation
of where the Democratic Party is heading, but actually, like folks in an actual office
and to pass laws that are more in line with where you are.
But I'm curious, do you believe that the kind of that hyperbolic language, with all the
experience you've had over the last few months, does it feel like that hyperbolic language
makes the outcome you want more likely or less. Because there's a way that things are done,
those things are changing. But if what you were, the hyperbolic language made what you wanted
more likely, I think it would, the conversation around you may be a little bit different.
I, well, in some respects, it's untested with the exception of what Donald Trump has been able
to do. But he has a much easier, he has a much easier go at it, because he's not antagonistic to
the forces of capital and also he's not really reinventing the wheel when he becomes more
white supremacists or more racist.
We all know that that is a galvanizing force for right-wing forces in this country historically.
But I think he is also the candidate and I think the difference that in what Eugene
has just laid out is that you are someone that's not the candidate, I mean, unless you
want to tell us you about the one for office.
Yeah, you got the suit on there.
No.
So in not being the candidate, like as Eugene just put forward,
like Donald Trump is an aside, but also because he is the candidate.
And in this instance, you're not the candidate.
So your impact is different.
Yeah. Yeah.
I mean, look, before Donald Trump, if we go back to the right wing media infrastructure here,
you have Roger Ailes, you have Rush Limbaugh, you have Bill O'Reilly.
And for the longest time, I think the party welcomed these forces, shock jocks, or people
with like truly odious ideas.
I'm not even saying there's a moral equivalency between what I'm doing and what they're doing.
Although, from the perspective of a lot of people in Washington DC, I might be even worse
than those guys because those guys are at least like a part of the normal political
process.
said that my advocacy is certainly not going to be approachable for many people at first.
But my bet on this, my gamble on this, isn't that I'm doing this just so Democrats can
win elections.
I'm doing this because it's true and I want people to understand and maybe even entertain
a different perspective, even if they don't fully internalize and fully understand it.
Do you feel...
Sorry, sorry, go ahead.
No, well, the last thing I was gonna say is, for people who are inundated with white supremacist messaging from their schooling to stereotyping in the media,
my goal for those people is to no longer have that same underlying white supremacist resentments for people who are transphobic.
My goal is to stop them from being transphobic. And for people who entertain American exceptionalism, American military primacy all around the world,
world, my goal is to help them identify that these endeavors around the world are not beneficial
for the people that are victim to this violence, but it's also not beneficial for Americans
because all of that productive output goes to American imperialism rather than building
our roads, filling our potholes here, building hospitals and rural areas, and focusing on
making a robust welfare state so that, you know, people are not sleeping outside by the
600,000 every single night in the wealthiest nation on earth.
You saying you're, you, you're a scoundrel.
Damn bro, call me the fucking donor kebab chef, dude.
Okay.
The important thing is that they're only asking you to shut up because they disagree with
you? Not because of bad strategy? No. I'm willing to entertain that there are those involved in
this conversation who legitimately think saying these sorts of things is electoral poison.
I'm certain that there are people who feel that way and they think you're fucking up,
you're fucking up this delicate process. Now is not the time. But they have to, but I think those people fundamentally misunderstand my role.
My primary responsibility is not to say things that make life easier for Democrats for Democratic politicians. Although I am aware of
the impact that my words have on races, specifically races like Abdul's. So in that regard, it
is important for me to dial things back or moderate, not on my principles, but on my
output. Because as I keep stressing over and over again, it is not a fair world
that we live in. There are very powerful forces at play. They feel as though their
power is waning. They feel as though their positions of prominence are under
attack. This is why there is endless amounts of hostility towards not only myself but this
broader left movement that has emerged in Trump 2.0 and certainly the candidates that
are tangentially related.
You must understand there are things that people will say that might not come across
as appealing to you, but you are already bought in.
You are already bought in.
Not every instance of moderation from candidates is capitulation.
every instance of moderation from candidates and I said this was Zoran a lot if you recall.
A lot of people got mad at Zoran over and over again when he was running especially
in the general they were like dude what the fuck why is he like caving on this stuff.
Why is Zoran capitulating why is he caving on this stuff what the fuck he won and to
To them, I kept repeatedly explaining, Zohran Qwame Mamdani is a Muslim socialist anti-Zionist.
Zohran Qwame Mamdani is not a white boy, he is not a Christian, he was not born on US soil
And therefore, all of those things, if elections are a popularity contest, all of those factors are in play.
All of those factors make him a weaker candidate.
It sucks, but that is the reality.
And the same goes for Abdul Rahman, Muhammad El Sayed.
OK.
Abdul's policies on a white paper are fucking amazing.
Every single one of his top line policies
get overwhelming majority popularity.
But elections sometimes require
as broad a coalition as possible to be built.
And that broad coalition will have people that will scrutinize Abdull's background as a Muslim man.
Tough titties sucks to suck.
We have to overcome.
And the best possible way to overcome these hurdles is by not rocking the boat.
So yes, in some respects, my commentary and my comments will be misconstrued and weaponized,
and it's unfair, but they will be weaponized against Abdul nonetheless.
The way he deals with that in an effort to move the conversation back to what matters,
the issues that impact Michiganders is up to him. But make no mistake, this does not mean
that Abdul is not a fighter. This does not mean that Abdul is, you know, caving and capitulating,
and he's going to govern like a regular centrist Democrat. He's just going to throw away
Medicare for all. He's going to start signing off unlimited arms transfers to the state of Israel.
No, those things are not going to happen, but sometimes it is okay to be silent,
to to to shelter from the storm.
OK.
We do it all the time.
We do it in our workplaces.
I do it sometimes when I'm forced to eat it.
OK.
Make no mistake, I'm not the one who's making
Abdul's life harder. It's Fox News. It's APAC. And yes, it's certainly Jake Tapper
and the pro-Israel network. Pro-Israel content creators who are engaging in this
vengeance quest against those they have declared major enemies.
With the false assertion that people like myself are responsible for why their nieces and nephews
no longer fuck with Israel. They're wrong.
But it doesn't matter. These people have profound amounts of power.
or what's important for us in this moment is to recognize that unlike any other generation,
unlike any other moment in time, we also have some power. Now, it's not competitive. It's
not equivalent to the entirety of mainstream outlets, especially when it comes to engineering
narratives around the election but it still exists and that is what's different this time around.
Do you understand? And in some respects our very existence challenges the previous formation that
mainstream media had. They were the gatekeepers. They got to determine who it's spoken to and how
they get spoken about. They can't do that anymore because united independent
outlets present an even more powerful force. And of course there's a lot of
fear by media executives and many others about what that means for public
discourse. What that means for social cohesion.
But again, remember, at the end of the day, what we must do is win and win so convincingly
that all of the previous criticisms wash over us.
And always remember that there are a different set of standards for someone
whose name is Abdul Rahman Muhammad El Sayed.
There's a different set of standards for someone whose name is Zohran
Kwame Mamdani.
So they have to live in that world, they have to live in that universe.
Sometimes they need to live to fight another day.
That's it.
Let's continue.
It's not going to be approachable for a lot of people, but I do wonder if in this new iteration
of Hassan Piker, that there may be a different kind of responsibility you feel to be a little
bit more approachable. You were joking about the suit earlier, and that part of the reason
that you started wearing the suit was because it was like, okay, I'm going to say some crazy
things, but you know, maybe I'm going to suit so it won't be as bad. Because it's like when
I talk to folks who start as organizers and activists, who start to become actual candidates.
I know you're not going to be the candidate, but walk with me here. They start to be more
in a professional aspect of politicians, not just a commentator, and that they often feel when I
speak to them a new responsibility to speak a little bit differently, not change their values
and beliefs. And I don't think like someone or I believe that you should have to do that in order
to be in politics, right? But that the incendiary nature, once you hit a different gear, right,
once you get it to a different level, that may not be as helpful as it was when you were trying,
you know, when you first went from the young Turks to Facebook to Twitch to actually get
attention, like you have the attention. And so do you feel a responsibility to
to be less incendiary for just being incendiary,
not to change your values and views,
but like, do you feel like you still have to be provocative
just to be provocative?
Like I said earlier, it's not necessarily the language
that I use, the language that I use
and the rudeness that I demonstrate at times
or the anger that I...
You see, also, the kind of self-aware.
I'm a socialist. I'm an anti-imperialist in America. Like this is the imperial core at the end of the day. This is not just like an academic thing that we're discussing. This is, there are very clear, there are very clear calcified attitudes that people have about what America represents.
And, and of course, from that perspective, when I oppose or challenge those, those, you
know, Third Rail, and I touch that Third Rail or when I challenge the, the sacred cows of
American politics, of course, that's going to ruffle feathers, regardless of what kind
of language that I utilize.
And I think what I'm, or what I think I've seen a lot of success in is the fact that
Using this incendiary language actually closely is identifying the enmity that many people in
America also feel as a part of their daily experience. Like they have all these struggles
and it seems like the institutions that exist are not addressing any of their needs. They feel
ignored, they're angry. And I say, this is what the Republicans have done so successfully.
Tap in to the real anger that people feel and then redirect it back to marginalized populations,
redirect it back to age-old historic enemies of white supremacy.
It's dirty populism, as I like to say. It is. It says that populism is a thin ideology
mixed with a thick ideology. So, MAGA's populism is like ethnocentrists, racists, xenophobic,
like we go down the list, which is different from Senator Sanders' populism.
Absolutely. You're 100% right. I like to call it slopulism, but that's much nicer. I think
dirty populism seems much more serious. And you're absolutely correct. And they do this
very successfully. They do this very effectively. And they get a lot of people to vote against
their self-interest, not just the class interests, but vote against their immediate interests
across the board. And I want to redirect people's attention back to the actual system, the design
of the system that has yielded these outcomes, that this is not like a failure of the system,
but it's the system working as intended. And yes, there is a lot of anger out there. And
I'm angry myself. And I think a lot of other people are angry as well. So I represent that
passion in many instances. So it's not simply incendiary content or incendiary comments
for the sole purpose of like gaining attention. It's more so, you know, moments where I am
truly very frustrated and truly very angry. There's also the issue with the medium that I
operate in. It's a very interactive medium. It's very new and a lot of people don't feel
over-stimulating. When we look at the the the Twitch streamer, like what we end up seeing,
if you're watching, it is for me to stimulate. So I don't know how you'll do it, but I do wonder as
you're talking about that, like the medium. I do wonder, and Simone I've been talking about this
a lot, even before we talked about having you on the pod, is like, does the stuff that's happening
and happening on the internet, right? Like how much of what you say and the way you say is because
of kind of like the internet and online way of talking and being, right? Because the medium
that you have kind of inadvertently forced folks to say things that maybe you wouldn't say in a
room, like is there a difference between what people say in a quiz chat and what someone standing
next to a Senate candidate should say? Because there does seem to be a little bit of a difference
in the way that we talk about these things online and the way that even some of the people who do
you say in senior things online, when I see the ass at an event in DC, or we're doing
an interview, there is a difference in the way they speak. The medium seems to force
that.
Yeah, I don't think that in this day and age, in the modern era, with a lot of independent
media growing in both popularity and influence, I don't think we need to shy away from speaking
a very different, speaking a very different tone and speaking a very different language.
So yes, you're right, that some of the things that I'm saying or some of the memes, for
example, are definitely a byproduct of being extremely online.
But the reality of the matter is, normies and the average American is also now extremely
online.
I don't think that's true, Hassan, though.
How do you, what data do you have to support that?
Because most people, you know, I used to wear campaigns.
up until like my entire political life was.
Uh, so here's the thing, just the one area where I couldn't get my point across what I'm
trying to say is like, it's different pockets. Everyone has something. I get back to it in a
second. But my argument here is like, everyone has different pockets. Like everyone is tuned
into something. For older people it's Facebook. For some it's Instagram. But you catch your relatives
like watching YouTube videos. I found out last night that my mom, who's 60 years old, watches
Joshua Johnson videos on YouTube on her own volition. She brought up the fact that Joshua
Johnson had brought me up in his last end of bit and she was like, you know, I love him. I watch
watch him all the time. And it's, it's fascinating, right?
I was one of those political consultants, you say, the people need to give
rid of. And so I went to go work at a White House. And now I don't do that.
I'm sure there's a, I'm sure there's a protect Simone calls.
Hopefully he's gonna start adding that into the Twitch stream. I'm a far
listening. But we used to always say, um, in many of the campaigns that online
is not real life. And when we said that, what we meant was things that are happening online
do not automatically translate into what is happening on the ground. So we have to be
very aware and in both of the worlds. And sometimes you got to gut check the online with the world
and like only a percentage of people are on social media, on these different social media
platforms. You, by your own description, your own audience is largely what? Young, male, white,
college educated, right? Like the stream, the twitching people watching you don't look like me.
So that is not the entirety of the electorate that we're talking about. And so...
I agree 100%. What I meant was when I said people are online, I meant like there's different pockets
for everyone, right? And I'm sure your relatives probably like consume some kind of content on
the internet, whether it be just like casually scrolling or maybe watching something on YouTube,
right? Like there is something for everybody now. I wasn't saying that like people are extremely
online in the way that like the Republicans think people are extremely online, and which
is why they're like increasingly more insane with their politics.
Shitposters?
Yeah, shitposting.
No, that's not what I was referencing at all.
I just simply meant, here, I'll give you an example, all right?
Candace Owens.
Hmm.
When Candace Owens came out and said, Israel killed Charlie Kirk, obviously that was ridiculous.
Having said that, it was such an unbelievably popular narrative amongst normal people as
well.
you wouldn't expect, even liberals and also Republicans alike. And I think many in mainstream media,
Mr. Marko...
But how does she know? I think my point is, my point is not about the thing. I think
the underlying point is, how do you, I think a lot of the statements, whether it's, I mean,
I think Candace Owens makes a lot of different statements, child.
No, I'm not endorsing.
I'm not endorsing Candace Owens statements at all. Okay? She is not under the 92%. But
The statements that you are making, I think, to get back to the heart of what Eugene was
talking about, because we talk about it often, he and I do.
What is informing these statements?
And are you more informed by your audience, which as we discussed is largely young, male,
and white, and college-educated?
And then if that is in fact the case, then how do you, where do you get your information
about the voters or the people who don't watch your stream?
Where do you get your information about black women?
How are you informed about black women and how does that inform your analysis?
That's I think the heart of this.
Yeah.
No, I mean, that's, you're absolutely correct.
I mean, part of that is also just traveling in general.
It's anecdotal for the most part, but it's the experiences that I've had so far.
One example I have been using recently is the expectation is that if you're, if someone
is getting attacked endlessly by both Fox News and even CNN, the idea is that I'm
supposed to be like a pariah, right? When I go out in public and yet the experiences
that I've had have actually changed dramatically where people that previously had no idea and
from demographics that normally don't fit in the Twitch streamer demographics that you
just mentioned will come up to me with regular frequency now in public and say like, look,
if everyone's yelling at you, you got to be doing something right. And that I think has
nothing to do with like my worldview or my ideology necessarily. I think a lot of that
has to do with the crisis and credibility in institutions. Institutions also like mainstream
media, institutions that are or establishment Democrats that represent safety and security
in these institutions, the stability in these institutions. People are very frustrated with
that broadly speaking. There's obviously polling on this issue as well. I mean, plenty of people,
they despise Congress, they don't trust mainstream outlets any longer.
else is the Supreme Court? Like, yeah, we talked about it all.
Maybe they should.
So, I think, so when, I agree, so when you are seen as an enemy of these institutions,
when these institutions or the protective networks come after an individual like myself,
most people who don't know anything about me are immediately negatively polarized because
of the anger and resentment they feel. It's, it's, in certain instances, it's just vibes
base, really. It's not hard-line data, but sometimes you have to put forth your beliefs,
regardless of whether or not they are going to be the most appealing. And I think the
successes of the pro-Palestine movement in terms of how much of a sea change that has taken place
in the American consciousness issue in the last three years is proof of that reality,
that if you're steadfast and if you know you have truth and justice on your side and you continue
your advocacy, does your audience only young white college kids but then doesn't look at the comments
on vids like the breakfast club joy read or any other black commentary interview with yes and also
um poll after poll is shown time and time again which is something that simon also readily acknowledges
and and talks about in the beginning of the conversation which is like who do you think
is not woke because my people are woke like remember when she said that yeah that's also
shown in the polls. Black people are far more positive about socialism than any other demographic
in this country. Black people are far more critical of Israel. Poll after poll shows this
than any other demographic in this country. Black people have always been woke and will
continue to be woke. Black political expression, on the other hand, gets filtered back into the
Democratic Party and sometimes the most like conservative Democrats ironically
enough but that doesn't change the reality that black people are by and
large the most progressive consistently progressive voting block the most
consistently progressive people in the country
That's it.
What is this?
Is really Prime Minister Netanyahu says, is really to influence American public opinion
to increase U.S. support.
Yeah.
Oh, like they weren't doing that already.
People will inevitably recognize that perhaps you weren't wrong all along.
One thing Hassan that has been kind of interesting to like, because I've been, I, you know, I
I think Simone has too, but we've been watching you for a very long time, right?
From young Turks until now, um, and the amount of attention on you has made me realize that,
oh, a lot of people don't know who this person is. Like, I, like, I, like, because I'm so online,
I'm like, y'all know Hassan Hassan, like he's been around for a little bit, but, and, and,
but most people do not know who he is, which is, that's the thing. And I realized that like such a
small subset because I'm also a subset of a subset, right? Like who understood, I think
we're around the same age. And I'm curious how you, as you, as you've watched yourself
become, you said pariah, I think other people would put it as, and when I talk to some of
the Democrats, whether they be, you know, more in line with you, a little bit more moderate,
what you would probably call the establishment, they may call you a, you know, a liability on
the trail, right? The amount of attention you've got on Fox News, the amount of attention you have
I've gotten the fox news has actually been insane and become fodder for a cat cat. I assume when you got into this
You do not assume you'd be an intact ad in Michigan
and
I'm curious if that has changed how you approach this aspect of it not the question of whether or not
It's made you want to change how how you speak
But like how you approach all of the electoral aspect of this because I think and correct me from one
But I think you kind of basically, you know kind of unpromptedly was like me and you know each other
like I'm not trying to be up in her thing. And you talked about publicly how this experience
has been to you. Do you see your doctor was basically like, yo, you're killing yourself
by doing this. But just like the experience of being a liability on the trail, has that
changed how you want to approach how much you're actually involved in actual politics?
No, not even a little bit. Because it seems like it sucks.
Yeah, why not? Yeah, unpack it for us. Okay, so yes, it absolutely sucks. But also,
even when I was a lone figure on the internet for the last 13 years, that was like seen as
because the internet is very, very violently reactionary. And yes, all the apolitical people
are, you know, they're like Andrew Tate. There's a lot of people who watch Andrew Tate and like him
or Nick Fuentes and like him that don't think that they are political at all. So that's like the
norm. The norm is unbelievably right. So I've existed in this incredibly hostile space as the
singular figure that all of the enmity that young men have and all the enmity that people on the
Internet have towards wokeism, liberalism, the Democratic Party, socialism, Russia invading
Ukraine, things that are just like utterly irrelevant, things that I do not advocate for
at all, I have become like the figurehead for that. And so I'm used to being in a hostile
environment. I'm used to operating in a hostile environment because I understand that the average
American is unbelievably antagonistic. They've been conditioned into thinking that like socialism
is this foreign alien concept. But do you really think the average started to interrupt you? But
do you think the average American is antagonistic? I find the opposite. And I don't know how much
you're on the road, especially during like midterm seasons and during the election. But I'm, you know,
my poor husband be here by himself with our child over the dog. And so what my experience has been
not that. And that's why I want to like the internet, like tricking all of us into thinking
people, when you interact with them in person, will be more antagonistic. I was at the midterm
convention in Dallas. Very strange to be very clear. But the thing that I found interesting,
you got to see the meat on the Jumbotron. I saw the meat on the Jumbotron.
Oh my god.
I guess we did too much if you ask me. But the, my landlord had an MS now on it,
right? And because I'm very proud of where I work. And so I'm walking around.
This is why no one will sit down with you, expose the hot areas of the consultancy
class while validating their general opinions. Yeah. This is why I need to go on liberal media.
That's the difference like Fox News will will do what Axios did, which is fine. I can handle that
You know, I'm willing. I'm capable
I can be even more contentious if necessary
Like if I go on Laura Ingham, for example, it's going to be different than like the Axios one because Axios is seen as like a center
Right publication even though they're right wing
Um, whereas Fox News is like objectively the most right wing you can be so like you turn it up a little bit
You turn the dial up a little bit whereas if I'm having a normal conversation with like any liberal commentator
They can't get away with saying how they truly feel, not to say that Eugene feels this way, right? Or Simone feels this way.
But like, if I were to sit down with Jake Tapper, Jake Tapper can't speak to me like, you know, Alex Thompson did.
What is this? At Black Left Twitter? Maybe for you all, Hamas and Palestinian people are the same, but for me they are not. I am clear on that.
Explain. It's very simple. Jake Tapper occupies a space in liberal intelligentsia, whether
we agree with it or not, doesn't matter. Whether we agree with whether he deserves it or not,
doesn't matter. Jake Tapper cannot do the transparent attempts that a Fox News commentator
could do to disparage, okay? There are certain things that I could say in a conversation
with Jake Tapper on CNN that I know the audience will react fairly positively to. If Jake
Tapper comes across like contentious in those conversations, given the CNN watcher, the
ever seen him watch was like attitude on these issues. They would side with me
against Jake Tapper which is precisely the reason why he can't do that. He can't
do that so he has to send someone else to do his bidding and then hype them up.
Prop them up even though they're like a right-wing figure in a right-wing news
outlet, right? And I am watching folks and people are starting to engage with me
And only one person you know what I mean in the two days that I was in and out of the actual convention center on the floor
You know walking around talking to people
Only one person was like are you gonna tell the truth MS now?
And I was like are you so you know that was that conversation
But they're doing the equivocating homosapositions Islam before discourse against you bro. Yeah, that's just not that's just not flying in anybody's
Household, let's be real large like it doesn't matter. That's what Israel does. Okay, so
So it's it's the fact, though, the outcome determines how how Palestinians are seen.
OK, Israel is doing that.
There is no world where it's like, oh, well, the Palestinian resistance is like a
separate entity and therefore Israel's violence is like justifiable.
It's fucking ridiculous.
Actually, I found people like less antagonistic.
I found them to be and this is out of like a Trump rally, essentially.
Like I found them to be not fully, I guess, consistent intellectually about a lot of things
when you're talking to them about, you know, Trump, they're mad about, you know, them not
having money, but then they don't realize that that has something to do with Trump and
Iran.
But I didn't find them, and I don't always find people on the left or the right immediately
antagonistic.
I find them to be steadfast in their own kind of values, whether you agree with those values
or not.
Okay, so I 100% agree with you, which is why I do the advocacy that I'm doing.
I do think that at the end of the day, if you were to just like sit people down and be like,
do you want health care? They're gonna say, yes, I want health care. Do you like paying, you know,
unbelievably high premiums? They're gonna say, no, I don't. Or do you like your your health care
provider? Most likely gonna say that they're not exactly a fan of their health care provider.
So I do agree with you when we get down to the issues, when we get down to specifics, or when
we're having a conversation in person, people are much more agreeable. And that's my experience as
well. What I was referencing more so is like people on the internet and also people in the media and
people that consume both regular legacy publishers or independent media outlets,
they are geared towards being antagonistic. And their expression especially on the internet
will be very hostile, even if they're not that way in public when you meet them where they're at.
So I'm gonna take us back to, I feel like I'm taking this back to Eugene often, but he's saying
good things that I want to get the answers to. Because Eugene specifically asked about you being
on the campaign trail and you feeling like basically like you don't need to be as hot, okay? Like maybe
you need to maybe we need to cool it off just to touch. Keep saying what you want to say but cool
it down. And you said no, you don't feel that way. And we said why? And this was your explanation for why.
Do you want to be right or do you want people to win?
And I ask that because we started this conversation, but he's saying that the reason you wanted
to get involved even more electorally now in this midterm is because of what you experienced
talking to people over these last, you know, like 18 months of Trump, the second Trump
administration and like their anger.
So and that the elected officials that currently were there, the leadership, you feel as though
were not up to snuff.
And I think, I feel like I said that in like the first two days of church administration.
I'm like, why are you not ready?
You're taking too long.
So if that's how you feel, don't you want to, how is what you're doing helping people
win?
So, great question.
My theory is that the anger and my beliefs are far closer to the majority position than
the beliefs demonstrated by the National Democratic Party,
which for the record-
How do you know that?
But wait, what beliefs are you talking about?
Because I think that there are things
that you and I agree on.
And then I'm very sure there's many things
that you and I do not agree on.
But I am the base of the Democratic Party.
And so for you to say that like most people agree with you,
I just think it's-
I guess what it forms that is her question.
Yeah, well, I think you're painting
with a brush or a brush.
So how can you prove it?
Because I don't believe that.
So yeah, I mean, we can go down issue by issue, right?
like when I'm talking about that, I'm referencing specific policies, Medicare for all or like
some form of, of, uh, socialized medicine says she says I'm the base. She's talking
about black woman chatters. Please calm the fuck down. I know, I know it comes across
as like maybe a little bit too blunt. Okay. But that's the point that she's making and
she's not even wrong about it. Okay. We can't be you, you're falling for the trap of divisiveness.
Okay, you're following the trap of divisiveness. This is like, if you turn around and just say,
oh, this is just like perfectly hollowed out id Paul, who cares, whatever. If you come across as
unnecessarily antagonistic in this moment, you are not going to win over people, right? You're
not going to win over people and we have to win everybody over, especially considering that Black
Black voters, black people broadly, black women, especially, are the most progressive
political force in the country and yet they don't vote for the most progressive candidates.
This contradiction must be solved.
And let me tell you how you're not going to solve it, okay, by coming across as a white
identitarian, okay, by trying to debate people to be like, well, why do you, like, why do
you bring this up?
blah, blah, blah, you can't do that, okay?
You can't do that.
You have to understand, even if Simone in this moment
is like ideologically opposed to my worldview
as someone of the liberal variety, right?
And like hitting the left and maybe even saying like,
well, black women do not want this, right?
Even if it's incorrect, it doesn't matter.
The way that you, the way you're supposed to deal with this conversation is by explaining
your position without coming across as annoyed, without being short.
These people are our allies, okay?
There's a way that you speak to your enemies, and then there's a way that you communicate
with your allies, even if your allies are ideologically opposed to your worldview.
Okay, you know
Stop leaning into the Bernie bro dynamic
What you failed to recognize in this moment is these kinds of conversations are very productive
These kinds of conversation will kickstart
Into community discourse within the black community it already has
Okay, it already has I
See it on my timeline
Sometimes it's okay. Sometimes it's okay for you guys not to fucking get your panties in a bunch and then stop this otherwise very productive discourse from taking place within the base of the Democratic Party, okay?
Yeah, and well, and although she's disagreeing me, she's also giving me plenty of space to speak. Okay. She's offering me a platform and you could say, Oh, well, your platform is larger. It doesn't matter. She's offering me an outlet to communicate directly with an audience that should hear what I have to say, but never do.
Okay.
That's it.
This is a great opportunity, and we must seize on this opportunity and not behave in ridiculous ways that then turn around and understandably disturb and annoy the people that we're trying to speak to.
Be smart.
Be smart.
Also, this is a wonderful interview. You're so, you're honestly being so cordial and patient.
I think that's amazing because I found you're absolutely horrible. Okay, listen, listen,
I, that's your own perspective. I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to speak to
the MSNOW audience and to speak to Simone, speak to Eugene. I think they did a wonderful
service for not only myself, but also for our movement in general. Because these are
people who already agree with us, but there is unnecessary tension between us, okay?
Them socialized healthcare system is not only beneficial for the masses, but it's also
fairly-
It's also ironic because you guys don't need to chirp. There are plenty of people that
are in their fan bases that are seeing this commentary is very agreeable. Okay, so you
don't have to fucking portray yourselves on outsider complaining now, because that will
only cause people to harden.
Your audience is showing why so many black folks even left black folks don't want to
fuck with the SA times. Exactly. This is true. It's not sometimes not about being right.
Sometimes organizing isn't not about like making the best argument and being right like stop
Stop sometimes is about having an honest albeit somewhat contentious
Conversation
Even if you are not intending to come across as anti-black the reception of
of any sort of like negative commentary in this moment will be as though you are
Okay, it will come across as though you are being anti-wack. So just be chill
Dial it the fuck back
Re-examining our relationship with Israel and revoking why people don't know how to
be patient, explain the worldview and perspective of the other's law.
Yes, this is just true.
those on the left like we because we always do this thing where we're like well we're
we have the morally righteous position so you need to shut the fuck up and listen it's like
dude we're gonna lose out on explaining our position to like-minded individuals if we if we
you know have that attitude you just gotta you just gotta always approach the subject matter as though
anyone you're talking to has never heard your ideas at all
Why don't you have the dislike add-on? Because it's bullshit. It's not correct.
Aid to Israel is an unbelievably popular position and there's plenty of polling to prove that as
well. And then the notion or data centers, another one, flock cameras, another one. Obviously,
these are things that we have been talking about for quite a while. Labor unions are at their most
popular at their peak at this point, even though union participation in the
labor force is at its lowest. And these are the things that we believe in.
These are the things that we are advocating for. But not only that, but
also there's this disconnect, right? There's this disconnect with how the
people perceive the National Democratic Party and how the people perceive even
like the liberal side of mainstream media and what the desires of the masses are.
First and foremost, everybody wash Trump out.
I think we all agree with that.
We all want Trump out.
He's unbelievably corrupt.
He's unbelievably violent.
And he's also now unbelievably unpopular.
All the people out of office.
Out of office, yeah.
Yes.
Oh my God.
Yeah, of course.
We'll be clear.
We'll be in it.
Yeah, we're extra worried about getting clipped here.
But maybe we just want to be clear.
Yes, we want to be clear.
Okay, I don't like the way you're saying it.
Yes, get Trump out of office.
Yes, get Trump out of office.
So most people in the Democracy Coalition want to get Trump out of office, all of them.
They agree with that.
I would agree with that.
Yes.
This literally was holding them together.
And beyond that, I think most people also want accountability as well.
They want maybe criminal charges against, whether it be ICE agents or even members of
prominent members of the Trump administration.
And this desire is, unfortunately, not being expressed by the National Democratic Party.
I'm sure that there are plenty in the National Democratic Party that feel this way, but there
is no unified vision, this unified agenda that people are hearing from prominent members
of the Democratic Party, whether it be Hikim Jeffries or Chuck Schumer, or even like establishment
Democrats.
I think the exercise in which people came out and and disavowed me was a great example
of this.
Like, my statement was not even in time.
Why are you the example?
Not you being the example.
Here's why.
Because I am an unknown entity.
Most people don't know who I am.
I'm a brand, but no for sure.
But you have become a topic of conversation, which is why we wanted to talk to you because
we're like, well, let's just talk to the man.
Yes.
use that as an example is not because I'm like this profoundly popular person
and everyone's gonna get really mad. I wasn't mentioning that at all. I have
become this figurehead for whether I agree with this or not doesn't matter.
I've become this figurehead for pro-Palestinian sentiment and attacks
against me in that regard are oftentimes a disciplining operation for others
who share similar perspectives.
They can't really yell at every single person
that are going to their town halls to be like,
why aren't you putting an embargo on Israel?
Like, why aren't you doing more about this issue?
So they choose media figures that they can yell at instead.
Same thing that happened with Mark Ruffalo,
same thing that happened with Macklemore.
And these are people who aren't maybe personally
super popular or super well known,
even though obviously Ruffalo is very well known.
and so is Macklemore to a certain degree. But the movement and the attitude that they demonstrate
myself included is broadly popular. So I think people see this, this, this, yeah, Eugene is a
house on Abbey Head. It's kind of funny that he's catching strays here, disciplining operation from
establishment Democrats, many of which are backed by the fact that he got a lot of money from APAC to
come out. Out of Portugal as well. She's just like, you know, doesn't agree with me. Nowhere and be like
the number one priority that we have right now is to make sure that people know this is song guy is bad
then i'm gonna let you gene i'm gonna let you gene take it but i'm laughing because i used to work
campaigns it's on and i have to tell you if i was a strategist or a consultant or you know the political
director on one of these campaigns i would absolutely be telling my people to disavow you because
depending on where we are. I really would because we want to win. We want to win. And so like if you're not going to have people win, this is the decision.
That's the disagreement we have.
I've elected people though and you've never elected anybody.
No, I know. You're right. You're absolutely right. But here's the thing. I'm not expecting these people to hug and kiss me or even defend me vociferously.
Obviously, I'm expecting them to tackle the form, tackle the framework, to expose the
hypocrisy.
Now, the hypocrisy is not going to work for MAGA, they're a cult.
We know that.
But, there are plenty of people in the broad coalition that we have designed, the anti-Trump
coalition, that will go, oh my God, finally someone is addressing the fact that they are
holding a Twitch streamer, a rabble rouser, to a higher standard than the President of
the United States of America.
This is so insincere.
So when I see Democrats lean in to a Republican-backed messaging campaign to show how wonderful
they are, to show how different they are from people like myself, I get increasingly
frustrated.
It's like a messaging bill where Democrats always do this, where they go and they vote
against socialism and communism or whatever.
They're still going to call you communist.
It doesn't matter if you voted against, you know, or if you voted for a messaging bill
that says America will never be a socialist country, they're still gonna call you a socialist.
They called Nancy Pelosi a communist, right?
They're interested here.
So we should never play by their rules and we should never play by our opposition's
framing.
That's what I'm frustrated by.
I know I'm in the center of the story, so it seems like I'm just engaging in self-defense.
But this is what I've been yelling at Democrats for for years, far before I became like the
the number one villain of the Republican Party.
We have an example that we think kind of is an interesting,
brings into the institution question like right or winning.
And it's not the old 9-11 thought
that you are talking about 9-11.
This was last week talking about the how people view 9-11.
In our generation and younger,
9-11 has been memed into oblivion, right?
Let's be real.
That's like, there's a generational breakdown here
where like a lot of people, it's almost like the adults,
not the adults, but the elderly are trying to make everyone,
make everyone talk about this in the way that they want to.
It's obviously not going to happen
for like the last two decades, pretty much.
From Seth MacFarlane and Family Guy
to numerous other cultural moments,
people have talked about it.
People have talked about it in not so serious ways.
So this forcible reverence coming from institutions
on its 25th anniversary is,
it's probably not going to take hold amongst the masses.
You have said you don't wanna be a burden
to the candidates you support.
And then you spend the anniversary weekend, 25th anniversary,
saying that and I'm curious like help me square those help me square those two things because when you were when you say you
Don't want to be a burden and you know that you've become a lightning rod fair there unfairly right that the Republicans are going to use you as a cudgel against
whether it's Abdul al-sayed or you know any other Democrat you know name your Democrat if you already know that
that. Why spend the anniversary weekend saying that? Help me square those two things when
you know that.
Because you're a smart guy.
Yeah, absolutely. Well, it's because it's simply put, it's true. It is a thing that
Americans have because I used examples. I was showing examples in popular media. And
this isn't about like 9-11 was a horrifying moment in American history. It's one of the
most consequential
uh... uh... one of the most consequential the incidence of of my
lifetime of our generation in general i think it changed the trajectory of america
there is covering you right now in the straight news coverage that's crazy
bro democratic senators in washington i guess it's just this is my life forever
now say it has said
shouldn't be the democratic leader this is my life for ever now meeting
uh... we talked all about how we're going to win in michigan
and brettess on piker is responding to this controversy over his new comments
tonight he writes in part quote
i give a nuanced answer about acts of terror this admins cost and they
clickbait it
he asked i gave a nuanced answer
we've armed al-qaeda since nine eleven we made its former commander
the president of syria and quote
was in a back to you
all right bill lewitt
was that wrong
but that wrong
wait a minute was that wrong
Go ahead.
Say that's wrong.
Tell a lie.
Erica, I'm not talking about the impact at all
in that moment.
I'm talking about the ways in which,
and I wrote about this in Huffington Post
like 2017 as well. I said 9-11 was horrifying. What we did after was far worse. That was a piece
that I wrote in 2017 and continue to unfortunately relitigate every single 9-11 or just in general
about how those in positions of power took this horrifying act of violence and used it to expand
on that violence. Quick repose the recount comment section.
This is the truth, objectively true statements, by the way, that's a reasonable assessment.
We literally made al-Qaeda, we funded it, created him to fight the Russians to help
remove democratically elected official allies of the region, zealots were worse al-Qaeda
because we created al-Qaeda.
Oh my God, people are getting it.
Why do they hate him when they speak of facts?
You can be mad about what he said, but you can't dispute that it isn't true.
He's never wrong, bro.
He sadly on point is not some we want to admit to ourselves, but if some does happening,
takes are reasonable and sane, hot and smart with morals 10-10? After reading the comment section,
I'm very worried about our future. People are so mad at people who are down on America and have
zero interest in bothering to try to understand why. Bro said the sky is blue essentially and
they're mad. He's never wrong just early. What the fuck? By the way, here's the thing. Like,
I think when people hear this kind of sentiment, they immediately go, hold on, this makes me feel
bad. But it's like, dog, you didn't design this system. You're not even fucking benefiting from it.
Don't you want to change this? If you disagree, if this makes you sad, if hearing about this makes
you angry, unless you literally agree with all of the death and destruction and you think it's
awesome. It's awesome that the Trump administration blew up that school in Minab, right? And there
are plenty of people who do feel that way, right? Many of them are in media. But unless you feel
that this is dope, these actions are sick, it's perfectly fine. And you're God-given American
right to oppose these actions and to say, look, man, I don't want it to be this way.
I don't want to do this much violence. What is all of this for? It's not for me.
It's not for my neighbors. As a matter of fact, it has a negative impact on my life.
Not only does it oftentimes create a security issue, okay? Not only is it a moral stain,
but it also is sucking up all of our attention, all of our productive output, all of our resources
to wage war for profit and plunder that doesn't even circulate back to the american homeland
It just goes directly into the pockets of of oil barons and and the epstein class so it's not even for you
It's not for me. It's not for any of us
You are pure evil terror supporter only mentally disagree with you evil hampshire under rape and you ignore it because you are evil wait what?
So fuck. I don't even know what that last bit meant.
Stan and Edgar got so excited. Abdul will have to address it. Yeah, I saw this.
with Axios and Alex Thompson, left-wing political commentator and streamer Hassan Piker said,
America conducts more terrorism in the world than Al Qaeda.
You once said that America is the top dog in terrorism.
Yes.
Do you think America then is worse than Al Qaeda?
Pound for pound as far as the number of deaths.
Yes, we've caused tremendous terror all around the world.
world. All right, with us now, Jim Vandahy and Mike Allen, the co-founders of Axios,
they are the authors of a new book, Simplify. Do 50% more with 50% less than we're going to talk
about the book in just a second. But first, I did want to start with this really big development
overnight with Axios, with Alex Thompson, that interview. It was struck me as I was hearing about
this interview going on. I'm like, oh, Abdul Al Sayed, the Democratic-Santa candidate in Michigan,
so he's going to have to address this. He's going to have to answer questions about this.
And sure enough, he had a statement in Axios this morning.
I do not agree with this statement on Al Qaeda,
nor do I give much weight to the statements made
by a social media streamer.
But this is just another example
if Hassan Piker won't go away.
Yes, it has become a central part
of the political conversation.
And that's why the Axios show went out to LA.
Alex Thompson did the great interview in his house.
Piker.
Dude, guys, jumping up and down, bro.
I got old white man jumping up and down on the fucking time he's like, oh, oh, it's so sick. Oh, oh, we got it
Afterwards told status it was the most contentious interview he's ever done and
Alex was prepared and he had things that
A piker had said over the years the piker didn't remember. Yeah, he hit me with like you said you wanted to kill Charlie
I was like, what the fuck are you talking about? He's like yeah in 2018 you said oh
I wanted to kill him and I was like I don't remember this but it's very clear that like I obviously wanted to debate him because
That's what I was supposed to do before he got killed
Wait, how did they know wait? No, these guys are at axios. They watched the they probably watched the interview before they went on and
And they got the cliff notes, but what's um, but what's crazy is like they he did that's why I say he did the clip show, right?
He did the fucking clip show where he's like you said this you said this you said this and
In this profession if you're explaining not your worldview, but your past positions that are negatively framed that are
You know chained together to have maximum impact you're losing
It's not anything that I haven't addressed before you know and the the answer is always the same
The the answer is always the same having said that they are going to do whatever they can just be like see this guy's a dangerous nefarious force
It's uh, you know, you guys should just stop listening to him and it doesn't work that way, right?
And and not only that but also of course their goal here is to be like well, you know this guy who's really damages Abdul why?
Why I'm an independent contributor nothing to do with Abdul's campaign, okay? We're not campaigning together
these disavowed, uh, comments that you disagree with, disagrees with.
I have also disagreed with Abdul as well. I like them, but there are things that I disagree with
them on. That is the beautiful and complex nature of democracy. They want to be the new 9-11 take.
Yeah, this one's going to be even fucking, uh, harder to stick in my opinion, especially considering
that, you know, we participated in the creation of al-Qaeda and continue to give al-Qaeda weapons.
This level of professional misunderstanding eventually is going to have to go away as a technique,
okay? Yeah, how darezons say America kills civilians, the UN today, U.S. likely committed
war crimes against Iranian civilians, according to independent experts.
There's more people agreeing with you on blue sky lever shimmer something does access please America does more terrorism
This is very very obviously true. It is but might make some Americans uncomfortable and well
We just can't have that best do brave things like kick Macklemore off the tour and such 50% of America's okay
And then y'all getting arrested on behalf of the ICC everyone's upset that America tax
I was being sent to phone wars in Israel. So we all know the damage we do this is exactly the time for him to say this
I mean the body count America has ratcheted up directly enabled around the world over the years as far exceeded anything Al Qaeda
Any other terrorist groups achieved?
Even just look at the most direct one-to-ones 911 comparison. He's just objectively correct
Like we're currently murdering fishermen, okay
We're currently murdering Fischermann at the coastline of South American countries
With impunity like there's no accountability for that. What so ever we're just doing that. We're
Shocking Cuba. We are slaughtering
starving Cuban children's right now
And it goes on addressed no one can oppose us
Okay, this is before we talk about the death count of the global war on terror this before we talk about minab this before we talk about
Israel's genocide that we aided and abetted
What are we doing?
If you find American actions such as this to be completely and outright unacceptable,
we have to address it.
We have to see the truth at times,
even if it comes across as kind of mean.
The gamble from my perspective is that Americans of good conscience understand right from wrong.
They recognize this reality.
They might not like hearing it from this package, okay?
But I know deep down aside many people agree
Because if they didn't agree they wouldn't have voted for fucking Trump over Hillary Clinton
They would have said Hillary Clinton is a smooth operator
She was the representation of American exceptionalism in that regard
She was the figurehead of the American global war on terror doing everything by the book and yet still
Leading to tremendous amounts of violence as opposed to Trump at the time in 2016 the unknown entity
the outsider, the quote-unquote supposed anti-establishment candidate, was railing against Hillary Clinton and
all of that violence and all of the money that we wasted, all the people that we killed, all the Americans that suffered as a
consequence of that when they served, and also
the trillions of dollars that we lit on fire in the process. For what?
for profit and for plunder. That's it.
Americans deep down inside understand this reality. Okay? They do. They recognize it.
Sometimes they don't like the messenger, but they deep down inside, they deep down understand the
message. This is how TPOSA is countering you. What is this? Fuck yeah, dude. University of Nevada
students remember to turn off SnapMaps while Chris deletes in town until the all clear sign is given.
Oh god.
you
When is the when is the CNN Jake Tapper piece because that's supposed to come up soon?
And remember just a couple months ago
Trump got mad but again this country is in fucking Tatters
This country is in tatters, man. Everything is collapsing all around us and we are drunkenly and
belligerently yelling about a fucking Twitch streamer. Like, what are we doing? What are we doing?
I think Americans do recognize that that is fucking stupid. I think...
What Mike from New York was defending you on MSNOW with Ari Melver? Mike from New York.
Oh.
Everywhere, especially that opening of the administration with all the executive orders.
All powerful. Well, people are smart. They say, oh, if you're all powerful and our lives
are getting worse, well, then you're the author of that. To make matters worse, the obsession
with tariffs, not just, I like tariffs, but liberation day, something moat. The fascinat
americans had no idea what he was talking about. And he's never-
They're asking Elizabeth Warren about you now clipping you like crazy.
Yeah, look, American foreign policy is uniparty. And let's be real,
even Bernie is going to say that that statement is wrong and immoral or whatever. Okay.
Unfortunately, we don't have, we haven't been able to carve out political, adequate political
representation when it comes to anti-imperialist perspectives.
Okay?
That's just the reality that you have to reckon with.
No American politician is going to come out and be like, we've killed a lot of people.
The only one that has the capability of doing that is Donald Trump.
And he has done it already.
done it in the past. But Donald Trump is right-wing. Donald Trump is this unbelievably powerful
force in American politics, this singular powerful entity. And therefore, he can get
away with saying stuff like that and even benefit from it.
But until we have a sufficient force, until we have true anti-imperialist voices in American
politics, it's just not, it's going to be very difficult to have political representation
that abides by not only this perspective, but just abides by the truth really.
That's the issue.
South Park's hit site on Trump.
Oh, based, but we're based.
Oh, this is a country where Madeleine Albright went on television and they asked
directly. 500,000 children in Iraq have died as a consequence of the sanctions, and she straight up
looked at the camera and said, that's a price we're willing to pay. Okay?
Like, that's, you know,
She says sometimes you got to crack a few eggs like that is ruthless, but it's also honest now of course when she says that she says that in the affirmative
Okay. When she says 500,000 Iraqi children, well, that's, you know, you got to crack a couple eggs.
You're right. We haven't, we have heard that half a million Iraqi children have died. I mean,
that is more children than died in Hiroshima, Stahl said. And you know, is the price worth it? I
think it's a very hard choice, Albright answered, but the price we think the price is worth it.
So, if I were to say, like, that is the American calculation, people will yell at me.
That's an outright, objectively evil thing to say.
It's an unbelievably evil thing to say.
And we, as Americans with good conscience, have every right to oppose this evil.
We have every opportunity, not even an opportunity, we have an obligation to say this is not us.
And we have a duty to make sure that our political representation also pushes back against this.
Do you understand?
Good conscious, making a lot of work, buddy.
There are, I'm telling you, man, it's just about unlocking this, this, this nascent attitude.
Okay, it exists. I promise you.
And there are ways, there are ways to explain this to others.
I often think about like what the partisans did, right?
I think about what anti-fascist forces did historically when they saw their neighbors
lean into this scourge of fascism in Nazi Germany and Italy, right?
And I want to embody their revolutionary spirit.
And I know that there are plenty of people
who have that capacity to see right from wrong.
It's that simple.
Murder Trial Begins Former American Idol Contestant Five Minutes Remaining Until Jake
Tapper, uh, his, uh, Jake Tapper covers the, the interview of his life, dude.
He's so excited.
You know, he's nutting and she and says, whatever you think about, some part of this is objectively
true that this instruction in America is unleashed upon the Middle East over the past quarter
century furships that of any other terror group anywhere in the world. I don't know how anyone
could argue otherwise. Again, South America, Central America before then, Asian continent
as well. All around our fingerprints remain and by God are they bloody.
The question, is one of the biggest hurdles historians agree with you?
People don't realize how sharp and studied he is.
Not just the level of research, but his articulation of the message of dauntless and singular political
force who thinks seriously about these precise interventions and possibilities of this particular
moment in my honest opinion.
I saw somewhere he said that his views wouldn't be out of place at all if he were in a standard
post-colonial studies department which I thought was funny.
I mean, it's true.
My, my, it is true, the problem is getting that in front of as many people as possible
in a way that is appealing and understandable.
That is difficult, but it's not impossible.
What makes it impossible is the reflections upon this basic post-colonial studies department
style commentary in an unbelievably hostile pro-American imperialist, pro-American exceptionalist
media environment.
That is the real issue.
Okay?
Everybody that hears stuff like this in mainstream outlets the commentators the commentary they turn to the little Henry Kissinger's
But to be fair even then like oh
Yeah, this guy is my number one op to my number one hater
He said a some might have completely wanted me over with his interviews push back against the most standard on top of your resistance
which says, not to compare black people resisting police,
the Palestinians resisting Israel
as a master class, they in your labels are only rebuttal.
Yeah, this guy normally hates me.
He always gets mad at me when I speak
on behalf of like DSA or socialism.
He's always, he always says like I'm stupid,
but I'm glad I won him over finally.
Overseas to people that had nothing to do with it
and to also take away our civil liberties
And also on top of that to to take the the remainder of our productive output and put it directly into
Waging wars for profit and plunder overseas, but the question
Is why I do what I do rare parking W's got two W's this week. What was the other one? Oh
This yeah, nice
Hell yeah, hell yeah, Andrew the question's not it's it's I hear you my father was sent to war
after 9-11, he went to Iraq and Afghanistan.
So I have personal stake in the conversations that happen around those wars.
My family was impacted.
I have friends whose parents did not come back.
So we don't need to get into the actual war aspect.
My question is more about strategy.
It's like, why talk about it?
When that specifically is something that keeps coming back,
I know you've apologized for the original 9-11 comments until you were blue in the face,
but why go back to that in this moment when we are 50-something days away from the end
of the midterms, right?
Because people are already voting currently, and in Michigan, they'll be voting very soon
specifically.
Why go back to it as a strategy?
I think the broader pointā
Like I said, because the broader point that I'm making has nothing to do with the choice
quote that has been reduced to me saying like, oh, the Sompiker doesn't care about like 9-11
jokes, but it's about how insincere this iteration of reverence actually is in an effort to foment
Islamophobia and to specifically attack Muslim candidates. And someone has to say that. Now,
of course, it would be... Why does it have to be you? Yeah, and why do you have to say it with
things that are... The way you say it. The way you say it, but also like, I could not find any
evidence for the broader claim you made about most Americans, most people under 45 have
made 9-11 jokes at this point, and most people, like, they don't have the reverence.
I couldn't find the evidence.
And so you muddy up, in my personal opinion, what you're trying to say, and then when they
clip one piece of it, which you have been clipped out of context, then you do take issue
with the clip of one piece, but Eugene is drilling down on since you know that's going
to happen.
Right.
You're very smart.
That's clear.
The alternative is for me to not talk about this issue at all, right?
And that's not, I mean, yeah, because there's no matter, see, like even the broader conversation
that I had about 9-11, that's not something that people want to entertain at all.
They just want to say, this guy whose name is his son, who's Muslim, who said America
deserved 9-11, even though he apologized one day after for the language he used all the
way back in 2019 is doing it again.
He is Islamically defending 9-11.
He loves 9-11, he wants it to happen again, and then it just like expands off of that.
But you know that that's going to happen.
I guess my thing is, and like I said, you have been clipped out of context, right?
Like 10 seconds of a long monologue is not representative.
We've been clipped out of context.
We totally understand what you're saying.
But if you know that, if you know that that is going to happen, if you know that Abdul
Also, yeah, it has had has had to in front of a camera say, you know, I'm not talking y'all
I want to ask him about a twitch streamer in California. That's not what I want to talk about, right?
If you know that
That's the questions why do it if you know
At stop awful hoodies calm stop awful hoodies calm
The detour with David James on the Sunday night on CNN and next day
all right let's see let's see the jake tapper live with just forty seven days to go until
midterm election day many democrats are hoping that the far far left voices in their party
do not hurt their efforts that includes of course streamer hassan piker but piker who
is no stranger to controversy in fact he seems to seek it just gave republicans plenty to
work with in this final stretch when he sat down with axios is alex thompson and alex
exclusively brought to lead this part of his conversation.
Do you think Iran should be free to build a nuclear weapon?
I think Iran, much like any other sovereign nation, has a right to defend itself, regardless
of its domestic policies. My opinion on the matter is, not to say-
Oh, it's the John Mersheimer thing.
The thing is that in order to create regional stability in a world where mutually assured
destruction is the only way for countries to have sovereignty, it is the same principle
that I applied to Ukraine as well, countries that would have nuclear arms in an age of
nuclear proliferation are the only countries that can generate true sovereignty.
Having said that, do I want Iran to have nuclear arms?
No, but I also don't want America or Russia or China to have nuclear arms either.
Do you think the Middle East would be more stable if Iran had nuclear weapons?
I believe yes. I think that the Middle East would be more stable.
Having said that, once again, I'm not advocating. I'm not trying to, you know,
send Iran in rich nuclear uranium, nuclear grade in rich uranium.
But with respect to Iran, I think the nuclear conversation is a distraction.
Time and time again, they have shown the Iranian government, regardless of whether you want to
want to trust them or not, you can just look at their actions, have proven that they are
utilizing the conversation of enriched uranium as a point of leverage to bring America back
to the table to get sanctions relief.
Wow.
All right.
Alex joins me.
Wow.
Alex, I want you to take a listen to what Congresswoman Debbie Dingle from Michigan had
to say earlier today about Mr. Piker.
I'm so sick of talking about Hassan Piker and I want Hassan Piker to go away. I don't know
why he had that was the big bombshell to see Abdullah El Siyad elected stock going on television.
I guess the bombshell is there to solve those around to have a nuclear weapon when I literally
said I don't want to run out of a nuclear weapon. Democrats campaign with him. Abdul
also had campaign with him in the primary. Mom Donnie didn't interview with him. He appeared
at various rallies a very successful
uh... dsa uh... i wonder what the cnr watchers will think about this members of
congress
but is there a way for the democratic party to separate themselves from
piker
and it's on piker has millions of followers on twitch and other people in
the wrong clip now they played it they're just gonna say was around the
nuclear weapons or something in the left wing of the party are campaigning
with them
uh... now maybe that works and i can vary deep blue seat congressional seat
but in a swing state like michigan which is one of the key senate races
this cycle
uh... it could be deadly which is why
you know mike roger's republican nominee has really honed in on abdull said
bring in hasa mpiger i was actually talking to democrats today
that feels that
even though maybe a sump hiker did rally a lot of like young
progressives
in uh... the primary
that they felt it was a mistake in in the end because
uh... he probably could have won the primary anyway
and you know but it and now it's just become a political liability in the
general election
piker in addition to in that clip it's kind of funny he's they're not even a
tagging out the one that is just attacking me
with a theocracy like iran or
the united states uh... democracy like the united states with a theocracy like
iran
he made this comparison
from of all kind when you ask him
which is the worst uh... well let's just play the clip it's about the united
States and Al-Qaeda. You once said that America is the top dog in terrorism. Yes. Do you think
America then is worse than Al-Qaeda? Pound for pound as far as the number of deaths. Yes, we've
caused tremendous terror all around the world. That's it. Nothing else. That is not only terror
that we are waging on regular civilians in nations in the periphery, but it's also having consequences
on ourselves. It's having dramatic consequences on the home front. One clear example, this
is what we did in Minna. There's no distinction between blowing up a school, triple tapping
it with Tomahawk missiles. If you're killing 140 schoolgirls, that is an act of terror.
If they ever explain how your political liability beyond the Republican attack has a cause of
being unknowing, we have to create an environment that's not going to be a bad thing.
Yeah, they're trying to say that people will oppose this when they hear this kind of sentiment.
So Alex Piker walked away from the conversation, said this was the most contentious interview
he's ever done.
Why do you think he saw it that way?
Well, because I pushed him.
Some Piker, by his own admission, is a provocateur, says things that, in case seemed to incite
political violence or at least suggest that.
And I really pushed him on every single statement.
And the reason I pushed him was because he is influential.
he does have a real constituency on the left wing of the Democratic Party.
It's why he has become a fixture in this in this midterm cycle and he could even become
a force in the future.
And the Democratic Party, you know, officials at the very top are sort of, you know, a little
bit in the eye.
Yeah, it was contention because it was a clip show, but it's fine.
I mean, I think it was all things considered, it was a fine interview.
But the fact is that there are a number of Democrats, voters, that do agree with him,
which is why we sat down with him.
But I also really wanted to push him, because he had not, in my opinion, been really pushed
on some of his more controversial views in the past.
Oh, absolutely not.
I mean, left wing and right wing YouTubers alike have all been rather obsequious.
Alex Thompson.
Dude, they hate independence!
He has so much!
Because he has always been a friend.
Oh, my God!
Well, thanks for joining me now.
Hey, guys.
All right, Karen, I know you want to say something about this.
Oh, Jake!
They hate you.
Dude, they hate.
I don't know, but you have to talk about this.
Tiktokers, content creators are like, why won't they fucking die?
Media is building him up for very obvious reasons to try to, you know, I'm sure the Republicans are putting on a lot of pressure because they have a lot of whack jobs that we have to talk about.
Yeah, Jake, perhaps because you don't have a constituency other than people who are forced to watch you every night.
We have to fight for the audiences that we generate, that we cultivate, that we amass.
But I'm just saying, I'm using David.
These people are even talking to me. Nobody's talking to me about this.
We covered this because Alex did this interview and it made news, and for the reasons that I gave,
which is Democrats have this guy campaigning with him.
But Jake, he said all these people, three, four, I think you counted out of how many candidates total,
and this is not a, I guess the thing that I resent is he's not someone that has any power,
or any authority, I don't know that we can say
he has real influence,
because we actually don't know who his followers actually are.
I mean, what do we, some of them could be Republicans,
some of them could be-
Some of them are in that production studio behind you.
Yeah, I know that right-wingers don't like Hassan Piker.
I can say that with near-circuit, actually.
You don't know who his listeners are.
Oh, I'm sure he's got a lot of fans in Pakistan.
I don't doubt he's-
No, no, no.
But let me come to Karis-
Whoa, whoa, whoa!
of all sect in it which is the horseshoe theory and you see right-wingers like
Megan like talk it is crazy expression as of agreement with Hasan Piker on
some things yeah well we're burning you stop let him go ahead okay yeah so we're
talking about Abdul al Said who invited Hasan Piker to campaign with him
Hassan Piker clearly had some power in that primary.
He turned a lot of people out on a lot of campuses,
injected some grassroots energy into the campaign.
Abdul way underperformed polling in that election,
but he did win by the skin of his teeth,
knocked out Haley Stevens,
who had the support of the broad majority of black voters
who are the base of the Democratic Party in Michigan.
And now Abdul is the candidate.
And now anytime anyone wants to ask Abdul Asayid
about why did you bring this scumbag,
and let's be honest, this moron, I agree with you there,
to campaign with you on the trail,
who says things like America deserve 9-11,
like Al Qaeda, oh, he took that one back.
Okay, so he says,
I had a fairness.
He just said that America is worse than Al Qaeda.
I'm genuinely not sure which one of those things
is more absurd than Al Qaeda.
You sure love having this right wing,
should head on and excitedly agree with him.
But the problem is, why does Abdul-Assadid now get to,
yelling. He's just passionate. I am passionate. I'll bring it down a notch for you. Thank
you. He didn't even fucking defend me. He just jokingly said, oh, he took that back.
Come on, guys. I've got nothing to do with him. He's no connection to my... Let me bring
in guys. Get ready for a sought number in question two. So here is what Abdul Assyed,
the Senate candidate, Democratic Senate nominee, Michigan said, when asked by Fox about Hassan
Let's play that.
The reason I talk to Hassan isn't because of Hassan.
It's because of the 3 million people who pay attention to what he has to say.
And I think it's important to be able to offer those folks a pathway back into our politics.
I understand that that's exciting conversation in DC, but I would encourage you to come to
places like Michigan and have conversations with people.
I promise you, they don't think that a streamer in California is raising the price of their
gas for their groceries.
You know who's doing that?
The guy right down there who lives in the White House, he's doing it.
okay so that was
as i mean uh... dual talking about us on piker
once in detroit with a local fox affiliate explaining why he talked to
him
and then in dc getting mad at people like me at that it wasn't how i mean that
in fairness and i counted it he got asked about us on piker more than any
substantive question about what is going on on the ground and why is the cnm
back
all my god cross the board because i'm sure i'm not going to ask the republican
jake is like okay how about you republican their election of duty on our part because i'm more
interested in not getting what he wants out of the liberal commentator on the panel so he's just
pointing to the republican directly resonating the appointment he's so desperate what a jerk who
cares more importantly though i think the other piece of this is literally moments when we're
like shut up karen enough they're not caring fitting now that we're calling you know you
Reversed him as a a political commentator far as I know you know, oh, he was his tyron was political commentator
I'm just saying if we're gonna legitimize him like that then and we didn't legitimize him up to us
I eat legitimized him when he brought on to the campaign
This is so funny look at what he said in front of his own logo his own Abdul al-sayed campaign logo back in April
Alex Ren just posted it from Politico to his Twitter earlier today
He said I'm not willing to disavow any of Abdullah Sayed's views. It wasn't I want to talk to Abdul Hassan Pikers
Excuse me potato potato and mix them up. It was Abdul Abdul said he wasn't willing to
Abdul's doing back in April to disavow any of Hassan Pikers views. He did not say I'm looking to speak to Abdul's audience
Pikers audience just for the record the political commentator was actually
Yeah, give me some of that good racism.
I'm not going to change.
Just answer to that question.
Yeah.
You know, potato, potato, both of them are Islamic jihadists.
Is there a legitimate difference between us talking about this and talking about like
Nick Fuentes or Tucker Carlson?
Absolutely not.
We should be talking about both.
That's what I'm saying.
Oh my God.
No, I did not.
You just said that.
That was how you began the segment.
I said that we shouldn't talk about him as someone who is important in the Democratic
party or has power or is it political? It is important. He does have power. Nick Fuentes
and Tucker Carlson are important enough power to and they're really bad and I'm happy to talk
about them anytime you want. What do you think about them? They're really, really bad. Do you
think they have too much influence? Once again, this conversation does not de-legitimize me.
It legitimizes Nick Fuentes, but these guys don't understand that. So let me just say this,
we did a piece yesterday on the show. You lost. You lost the argument. Everybody
fucking hates israel now so when you say oh look at all these guys who are bad
they all happen to criticize israel some of them do it anti-semitically like
nick went as and others don't like myself when you push all of these people
were anti-israel together in the same fucking box you don't end up making me
look bad you end up making them look like legitimate political forces oh it's so
dumb these guys are so stupid streamers and you just let her finish and then
we're done yeah I just think we have to be I'm mindful that for those of us who
actually do the work yeah politics and do our research that it there's a
difference between that then some guy you I mean when of course that's just
fai that's why you're on this platform as often as I can get you and now and I
don't have him okay that's my point that but but we know why you want to be on
Jay's point is true which is the Nick Fuentes is of the world and the
Hussainikers of the world have a lot of big audiences and thanks to both of you
and I'm sorry if this guy could too contentious but it's it's it's a well
I know everybody can handle it anyway speaking of Haley Stevens former US
Marine Paul Wheelan spent five years in Russian detention but now he's using his
platform. God damn, dude, it's so fucking annoying. We're in a war. Wait, as a long time
frequent user of the site, it was substantially improved politics. It was servers imploded.
We're in a war that is by every objective measure, a disaster for the entire world,
just to name one thing. But because this site, this site still functions as a clipping factor
for operatives and assignment editors for journalists. We're on month three of the
Hassan Piker coverage. Very stupid. Yeah, 100%. Yeah. So here's the thing. Here's the thing.
a Jake Tapper did that entire segment for that final piece, right? Oh, Hassan Piker and Nick Fuentes, they're identical.
Horseshoe theory. He even said horseshoe theory, right?
There's a reason for that, because in his circles, in his worldview, he's surrounded by other people who are also
like-minded, who also feel like, oh, if you oppose Israel, you're a rabid anti-Semite, and you must be delegitimized.
But what Jake Tapper doesn't realize, and what the people in his orbit don't realize, is that regular Americans fucking despise him.
There are plenty of regular Americans who despise me now, too. They've seen the negatively framed comments.
But every single time they hear someone like Jake Tapper say, oh, this is Tom Piker. He's such a bad guy. He's such a dangerous anti-Semite.
You know what they think? They think, fuck you, Jake Tapper. I actually am going to tune in and watch what the fuck this guy has to say.
say because of all of these people that I despise, despise this guy, he must be doing something right.
These guys don't get it. There was a time when mainstream outlets could sincerely
get keep who gets to speak and how people are spoken about. That time has passed.
Okay? That time has passed. Long past. Now that people like myself have sizable platforms
that are competitive with CNN and that there is this tremendous ease of access to my commentary,
to what I believe, to what I am saying, and also, shouts out to this audience as well,
a sizable community in and of itself that can spread this message, that tune in every single day,
that actually trust my analysis, trust my commentary. These guys who never had to fight
to cultivate an audience like this, to participate in a movement, a broader movement in particular,
they can't contend with this reality. They don't understand it. And that's why it's hilarious
when these guys will turn around and say, oh, well, Abdullah said, legitimize this on Piker.
You don't get it. You don't get it. You're too old. You're out of step with the masses.
You do not understand that no, me going on the campaign trail does not legitimize me, okay?
My legitimacy comes from my audience. My legitimacy comes from my worldview. The trust that my audience
has. The trust that you have in not only my commentary, but also this movement broadly,
our legitimacy comes from that. Okay? This is something Tim Miller fundamentally understood
at Bull Work when he said to the Sarah Longwells of the world that Hassan has established
credibility in the anti-war sphere. Hassan has established credibility in the pro-Palestine
sphere of influence, which is vast, which is sizable, right? And this is my estimation, moral,
right? Tim also said, we do not have that credibility. So when we attack people like Hassan,
right? When people like Sarah Longwell, his cohort, his co-host, Tim said, when people like ourselves
at Bulwark Attack-a-Son, we end up losing our credibility. If you want to have credibility in
the pro-Palestine side, we have to back candidates who actually occupy the space, who have these
positions. But these guys consistently want to engage in that same factional
debate over and over again. They've lost the conversation, they've lost the
argument, they know they can't present themselves as a moral force any longer,
and they're losing their credibility every single day. But they are oblivious.
They're oblivious to this reality, which is why they just keep slinging shit over
and over and over and over again, trying to force associations with campaigns to try to gum up the
works of a wonderful Senate candidate, Nabil El Sayed, with the hopes that they can prove a point
that ultimately the same thing that APAC does, right? They spend like 60 million, 70 million on
a race. Why do they do that? So they can turn around and say, being pro-Israel is good politics
and good policy. It's not. That's precisely the reason why they spend all that money to subvert
the democratic process to dilute people into thinking that one candidate is better than the other
without mentioning Israel even one time, but they're doing that to flex their muscle to continue
further diluting the American masses to say, look, these guys won because they're pro-Israel. Sure,
we never used Israel as a term in any of the attack ads. We never used Israel as a term in
any of the positive ads for our candidates, but they won nonetheless. Perhaps it's because
just their pro-Israel. It's bullshit.
And the other side of the story is the enmity that the old gatekeepers and
mainstream media have towards people like myself, towards individuals in
independent media. We have had to carve out our audiences.
We didn't just, you know, Brown knows our way to the top, say the right things
every step of the way, like Jake Tapper did. And there is resentment there.
I'm 35 years old
The fact that I have a competitive salary
Because of you the subscribers at the piker broadcasting service support independent media by subscribing for six dollars or for free by the way
With a church prime connecting your Amazon Prime account through just gotta get one free prime subscription a month
Or you can gift subs to others as well
But that is how you support the show piker broadcasting service for tomorrow's news today
Got to do a little plug there. I keep forgetting as of late. But for people like Jake Tapper,
they see someone like myself and they're like, this is unearned. You did not get your wings.
You didn't go through the same process I had to. You didn't have to answer for a boss.
But what they fail to recognize is Jake Tapper without CNN is nothing. I built my audience,
Brick by Brick. He sits on top of an existing audience that's unfortunately dying out, okay?
So there's a lot of tension there. And that's precisely the reason why you see more and
more serious outlets instead of coexisting with independent media. And I certainly would
appreciate that coexistence because I rely on the good journalism coming out of these
outlets, including CNN at times, right? Do you guys know I'm not one of these like Joe Rogan
types that says like, oh, everything the mainstream media says is fake, dude, I'll fucking, I'll take
TRT, but never a vaccine. Like I'm not one of those guys at all. I rely on real investigative
reporting that still sometimes comes out of these outlets from the New York Times and legacy
publishers all the way to CNN. Without them, I wouldn't be able to do what I do. So I need them
desperately to do a good job, right?
But these guys, instead of coexisting with us, they think they could just like push back
and try to tarnish our replications, try to attack our credibility, not realizing that in
this moment, in this current digital age where there is an unbelievable amount of diversity
and where people can get their information from, when they attack us, it's not bad for us.
It's bad for them. And I wish they would recognize that.
Because they attack me, they say, Hassan is an antisemite. Well, people have heard that one before.
Okay, they've heard that. Oh, why are people saying he's an antisemite? Let me Google it. Oh,
that's because he's pro-Palestine. Hmm, interesting. Okay, well, I'm pro-Palestine. I don't believe you.
When that happens, you've lost a viewer, okay? Or at least, that viewer is at the precipice of
leaving to never return. This has happened for the last three years of Israel's genocide. These
people consistently kept defending Israel vociferously when every regular American could see on their
timeline on TikTok, on social media, the brutality of the American-backed Israeli government's
genocide, the violence, the children in trash bags being held up by their parents. They saw
that over and over again as people like Jake Tapper contextualized that violence as they brought on
Israeli forces, members of the Israeli occupying forces to come and explain why these children
had to die because they were Hamas. That destroyed what remained of mainstream credibility. There's
a real crisis in credibility in mainstream outlets right now. And a lot of people think,
oh, it's because these guys in independent media, they just fucking, you know, they lie.
They don't have the same editorial standards. No, there are plenty in independent outlets
that don't abide by editorial standards. I'm not one of them. I do have editorial standards
that I hold myself to. The issue is the higher purpose that CNN and all these
other outlets serve is to still regurgitate State Department propaganda
no matter how ridiculous it comes across and that is why they have taken the
real reputational damage. So go ahead keep yelling about me. Go ahead tell your
guests that you won't have someone like myself on that very same CNN has invited actual neo-Nazis
on in the past. CNN invites white supremacist Richard Spencer to talk about Trump's racist tweets
because Richard Spencer at the end of the day is not disruptive to the pre-existing hierarchy,
the pre-existing order. There is a closeness with the politics of Richard Spencer and the
politics of Donald Trump. That was seven years ago, right? Seven years ago when he was at
the peak of his popularity. That same closeness does not exist between myself and the National
Democratic Party and that is the problem. There are a lot of people on Twitter,
Hammer and Sickle accounts that will say, Hassan, he's taking the revolutionary potential
of the masses, he's harnessing it for personal gain, and then he's just blowing it on the Democratic
Party. All he does is engage in this branding operation in PR for the Democrats, right?
If that was the case, why wouldn't these people welcome me with open arms?
If I was doing that, if I was truly controlled opposition, for example, you think these guys
wouldn't love having a guy like me on their side, it is because of my independence and
our movement, our broader movement's honesty, and our broader movement's interest in representing
the interests of the masses rather than putting corporate profits first, that they oppose us.
Okay, that's it. It is because we are unbought, because we are unbossed and increasingly becoming
undeniable that they treat me very differently than they do the likes of Brian Tyler Gohan,
for example, and Brian Tyler Cohen is an independent content creator. He does great work, right?
Well, why is it different? I like Adam Mochler, for example. Why is the attitude between someone
like myself and Adam Mochler different? Even with the Potsafe America guys. Why is the attitude
different? Those guys are on the independent side as well, because they won't rock the boat, but I will.
still. Okay? That's it. Because I care about the policies first and foremost. I care about
this movement first and foremost. If the Democratic Party tomorrow came out in opposition to immigrants
existing on U.S. soil as they did last election cycle, I will oppose them as well.
If the Democratic Party in unison comes out and says, you do not deserve Medicare for all,
I will oppose them as well. That's the problem. I care about action. I care about achieving
the desires of the masses. I care about advancing people's material conditions. I care about these
material changes on pragmatic, I'll work within the confines of permissibility, I'll work
within the confines of the electoral system, but I'm not a DNC consultant.
I'm not bought and paid for.
I have my principles, and sometimes those principles are at odds with the higher purpose
that the Democrats want to serve.
Maintaining the same corporate oligarchy in this country.
That's it.
Their whole argument is that you're not pragmatic with this rhetoric?
Yeah, they're wrong.
I am pragmatic with this rhetoric.
Things are changing even the centrists are realizing that not taking size doesn't put you in the middle
No, Philip DeFranco is not a centrist on this issue come on dude. He hasn't been a centrist on this issue for a minute
That's this Rachel basically came out yesterday on Instagram and called it
Well, I'm actually gonna pull up the exact quote because but you keep going while I find the miss Rachel
I love I say I love I love the way Miss Rachel's rolling.
You know, Miss Rachel makes me feel like there's time to I look at Miss Rachel.
I'm like, oh, I am too much of a centrist.
Like, like this Rachel will look will say something.
OK, no, that's genuinely.
Yes. OK. So also, fuck people that are like
that are in privileged positions because it is it is I understand
like this this was a good point that some people had of like, hey,
If you're a small artist, you're struggling, you're trying to find a way, I understand
there are reasons to try and navigate situations.
People are just trying to survive, but when you're in such a privileged situation and
you're being a centrist pussy about this, it is crazy, it is something that you should
look on in, Ed Sheeran should look back on this.
If he does not change up, and we got to leave people room to grow and show it, but if he
does not change up here. I hope he looks back on this in fucking shame and
disgust of himself. Oh, he should be a miss Rachel in World of Ed Sheeran's.
Great take on Philly D's evolution on this issue. Law. I've been watching this do so as a little
kid probably for 20 years at this point. You know, it's so crazy with nerd Dean. It's like so
strange to me to think of her as a child watching Philip DeFranco, because I've only known her as
this like very, very bold advocate for Palestinian emancipation as like a fully fledged adult.
So imagine her as like a child watching sexy Phil is so wild. Okay. You've just been filled in.
It is kind of crazy because like we used to more odd has been watching Phil Franco for
like fucking 20 years at this point. Like we used to watch and joke about sexy Phil,
you know, even as I got older and thousands of views genuinely reprehensible. I still
watching over the last years. I've seen a shift in the direction. I really respect.
We're really cemented it for me was the coverage of my viral joke. The renaissance harass me
over it was some of the best coverage I saw in the entire situation and the funniest part
is that I didn't even see get out it was just another random day where I put on the pds
like I always do except this time sitting there watching a guy watch those a kid covers
only that happened to me truly such a weird full circle moment.
Yeah, dude, Philip DeFranco has been filling me in. Philip DeFranco as sexy Phil has been
and filling my entire family in for two decades, okay?
Myself and my brother.
So it's a pause, pause.
Listen, listen, that's my shredded goat, okay?
Calm down.
Calm down, sometimes we gotta say that.
You know what? You do need PR training. I know I know I gotta do PR training.
Sexy Phil was my main news source before my little bro put me on PBS, Piker Broadcasting
Service People's Broadcasting Service. Sponsored by You the People, for You the People. Let's
go for tomorrow's news, today.
What is this? The White House Faith Advice saying you should be typing 10% of your income to Israel. Oh, that's awesome. Well, this GBC account is like so sus. They post the weirdest clips.
But yeah, Paula White is a psycho. Remember when she was speaking in tongues?
This is getting encapsulation of one of my hobby horses that activists are almost always
employing literary devices.
We exaggerate, compare, personify, and simplify because we're desperate to draw attention
and outreach for our causes.
And staid language usually won't do it, it's true.
It is true.
I love hearing this shit though.
Every hip-piece makes me like a song more while simultaneously making my resentment to our
centrist stems and corporate media more palpable.
Kyle Glazing You?
This motherfucker don't miss.
No, he's fucking good.
That motherfucker don't miss, man.
He's good.
In the heat of battle, he don't miss.
No.
In the heat of controversy, he don't miss.
No.
This motherfucker.
So funny to have Michael Rappaport saying I'm based.
Can we talk about how wild of a sentence in a world full of Ed Sheeran's
being a Miss Rachel is? No, man, that's the world we live in now.
We got a bunch of we got a bunch of Ed Sheeran's, but we also have some Miss Rachel's.
OK.
Sorry quote to be able to see the reply to her pose
Yeah, Jill Filipovich said I truly don't mean to sound like a reaction right where you're but I am going to
But if you generally hate the United States and think of the worst most evil country on earth, but you're a wealthy person with a job
You can do the from anywhere. Why do you live here? I?
Said beautiful question happy to answer I'm an American citizen
I love this country in spite of his dark chapters because I believe in its promise and its people
It's up to us people of good conscience to continue the struggle to unlock his true potential
This is the whole point
People think no no no if you criticize America that means you hate America that means you want to you know
You want America to fail no I want America to succeed right now
Right now
America is succeeding in death and destruction abroad and
chaos on the home front I
I want America to no longer do that. I want America to succeed in prosperity for all
Okay
Anyway, there was a time and place when this kind of attitude was look down on
one. I think the dilemma for a Sompiker is obvious. He wants to be rich, a Twitch streamer,
and he wants to be an electoral progressive kingmaker, but they're ultimately mutually
exclusive pass. And he needs to choose one. I said, laughably wrong. If I wanted those
two things, the pathway is clear. Never oppose Israel. Never critique American exceptionalism
or empiricism. I'd be welcome with open arms. That's a strange dodge. I think it's clear
you want to boost the democratic socialists and adjacent to the surges in the party.
well and fine. I'm saying that's inherently going to be at Osworth Punditry, which uses
provocation as a rhetorical technique. Both fields require being bold, but one field requires
being disciplined and being circumspect about how messaging is received. The other often
involves the opposite. No, once again, here is the issue. Here is the issue that people
don't realize. There are a million academics in the field of postcolonial studies that
speak extensively on the subject matter with tremendous amounts of information, far more
knowledge than I could ever accrue. The reason why they don't have 30,000 people listening
to them every fucking day is not because they're wrong or because they're, they're, uh, you
know, silly or, or, you know, incorrect or whatever. It's because they are speaking in
the tone of academia
is that simple
a very different ballgame
to take
the writings of of uh... uh... finan the writings of scissor
and then try to filter it into a much more palatable
normie facing conversation
norm finkelstein is a great example of this to norm finkelstein is brilliant
Norm Finkelstein is a respected academic. The issue is, when he goes on a long rant,
he's using his words very carefully. Now, of course, he has some kind, some kooky beliefs
as well, but like, he's using his words very carefully, but his language and his tone is
academic in nature, with the exception of when he calls Trump the orange-arward, right?
That is not going to both entertain and unlock revolutionary consciousness amongst the masses,
right?
It's difficult.
It's not going to work.
What happened to the audio?
What happened to the audio?
and
lives in the comments that many of you are dragging kill me
like the 11 on a Cameraman's Tuesday night you worked hard go the full right
of college you spend the next years with a lot of work for department of defense
because he loves him so much you want to pay back
uh... with his service of brank a fuck all the way off
Yeah, it's just like
Brian killed me, dude. Brian killed me being like, oh, he's fucking not real American.
Bill Malugin looks like Fox News were on the Iran club too.
In New Clip, just released by Alex Thompson.
As I'm working on something he believes in Middle East would be more stable if
they're on a nuclear weapon.
I grad that it's not something you would advocate for and it doesn't want any
country to have a nuke.
What the fuck? Does he please one thing but says he doesn't advocate for it?
Then why say it out loud?
Yeah, I saw Mattias on do I want Iran to have nuclear arms? No
I said I agree with Professor Mercer Sharma's assessment that
If Iran in in a nuclear armed Israel in a region where Israel is nuclear armed
Iran if they had nukes would not currently be under fire
And in Iran that currently is not under fire, does not shut off the Strait of Hormuz.
So yes, technically, Donald Trump is worse for the world than a nuclear Iran.
That is objectively true, okay?
I know it sounds insane when you hear it, but that's how fucking insane our current administration
is.
Donald Trump, in this day and age, is worse for the world than a nuclear Iran.
of Iran was like North Korea and had fucking nukes, then Donald Trump would not be able
to fight it because Donald Trump is not fighting North Korea.
And therefore, Iran would not shut off the Shred of Hormuz and basically stop 20% of
the entire fucking global energy trade almost overnight.
And the argument that I presented in this conversation was very clear.
uses nuclear proliferation not as an end goal, but as an opportunity to bring America back
to the table as leverage to push for sanctions relief.
And I also repeatedly said in this conversation that Barack Obama proved with the JCPOA that
But that was a far better way to deal with Iran.
Trump reaffirmed a Hassanabbi nuclear doctrine of Iran, oh yeah here it is.
There's always a fucking Trump clip for everything I say by the way.
People will be like Hassan said, the Houthis successfully thwarted America's attempts at
destabilize in the region or whatever the fuck and then Trump will come out and be like the Houthis they got hands
They're brave warriors. They're so strong. I love them
But again, that's Trump he gets to say it. I don't get to say shit
The weapon right now and I would be addressing them as
Supreme leader mr. Supreme leader, sir. How are you?
And now I don't have to do that.
If they had a nuclear weapon, I'd be calling the Supreme Leader.
And I'd be saying, Mr. Supreme Leader, how are you, sir?
Is there anything we can do for you, as opposed to bombing the crap out of them?
A nuclear weapon right now, and I would be addressing them as Supreme...
Yeah. This was another good take as well from a former Yale guy. He said, Tim Herschel-Berns,
Global Development Policy in the Paseo Law School, Tim Herschel-Berns says, My general
prior is that a Sompiker is pushing discourse in the right direction but says some dumb
things. But when I actually listen to him, instead of just looking at whatever dumb sounding
quote ends up on my timeline, he sounds way more thoughtful than I expected. I am perhaps
to a fault someone who generally assumes good fate, but hard to get around the idea that
the whole panic is malicious slander.
I said this is why Jake Tapper is terrified of interrogating my youth on sand, but will
gleefully play clips to a panel of right-wingers.
That's how you do it.
Because Jake knows, if I were to go on Jake's show, that would be a fucking ratings boost.
But he'll never do that.
He literally said, oh, I can't have him on.
I can't have him on, just like I won't have...
Wait a minute.
I can't have him on, just like I won't have Nick Fuentes on.
Lawley said the same thing in regards to Trump.
Yeah, oh, a photo of the current president of the United States meeting with former leader
of al-Qaeda, designee of the terrorist with a $10 million bounty until three days before
his meeting.
In November 2025 of the White House, Trump called him a tough leader he likes and gets
along with.
Yep.
Every news that was way more favorable to a literal terrorist than they are to Hassan
and Twitch streamer links below.
That's it.
Dude, dude, here's the thing, okay?
The moment that Jalani becomes of interest to American foreign policy in the region,
despite the fact that he literally commanded the commandeered the forces of al-Qaeda in
in fucking Syria, which included like straight up beheading people, right?
He becomes a far more normal figure in American discourse and polite society and major media
than I am as an American Twitch streamer, okay?
Like Trump is shaking the hands of a man who fucking chopped people's heads off and the
media will be like, this guy is a wonderful institutionalist as opposed to that dastardly
Hassan
It's crazy
It's crazy. What are we doing? What the fuck are we doing? He wore the suits first. Okay fair. Yes
That's where I learned to wear the suits. It wasn't Zoran
It was Joe Lensky that taught me to wear the fucking suits
There was another clip that he posted that he thought made him look good, but everyone
was cooking him again.
This one is even worse than the previous one because he tried to do the real thing he
wanted to do was Israel, right?
But it didn't fucking work.
My biggest mistake on this is that I didn't do the classic thing, you know, the classic
bit that I do about how if Benjamin Netanyahu treated the Palestinians in the way that Xi
Ping treated the Uighur Muslims, you would be sitting across from me advocating for him to receive a Nobel Peace Prize.
I should have said that because that was a direct comparison in that moment, but I forgot to fucking deploy that.
But you know, here it is. As soon as you care a lot more about how Israel treats Muslims than how China treats Muslims.
Yeah, because Israel is murdering not just Muslims, but Christians as well with my tax dollars.
And that I think is unacceptable. It's the same principle behind America's global war on terror
That is an abject failure that I oppose as well that many Americans also oppose as a matter of fact just like you wouldn't be talking about it
If you if Israel wasn't an ally
Yeah, I would not be I would not be as as frustrated with the actions
of course
I would still talk about it because there's a genocide and there are and I believe amnesty International
International considers what China has done to the we were Muslims to be a cultural genocide if I'm not mistaken
Mm-hmm, and you agree. These are these are I do I do agree with that. There are there are different
There are different terms applied for for different actions. I think what Israel is doing is an outright genocide
Yes, but you think China's perpetuating a click I genocide here. I'll give you another example
He tweeted is like one of your reply guys
My girls told me you wouldn't visit Israel and says he's Israel maxing the way he did for China
Even if Israel weren't a US ally said Israel's entire existence is still built on the principles of ethnic cleansing the China trip
Yeah
Like Russia Russia's actions are
Utterly unjustifiable in Ukraine. It's an illegal invasion. It has been monstrous
horrifying, it's had negative consequences for Russia, of course, and first and foremost,
tremendous negative consequences for regular Ukrainian society, right? Having said that,
it's a different standard between, and a different weight in the immorality of these actions as
opposed to what Israel is doing in Gaza. Yes, and also the 75 years of apartheid and occupation,
now 80. It just seems there's like a different level of outrage when it comes
to Israeli violence versus Chinese violence. I think it's, I think there's a
sufficient amount of outrage not just coming from myself but also from
American society broadly. But you wouldn't go to Israel and post about Israel
maxing. Yes of course not. I would not. Why? Because I think that Israel's
totality, like its entire output, its entire existence is still built on the
the principles of ethnic cleansing and never truly addressing the the inhumanity
of the acts that came even at the inception of the Nakba and and continued
onward with full-blown American support. If Israel existed as a nation with a
binational commitment to the Palestinians but every now and then there
were, you know, tense environments every now and then there was like a back and forth struggle.
I think the calculation would be far different, not only by myself, but also by many others
and Americans, you know, around the world.
Yeah, I think the best argument that I could have deployed in that moment, which I forgot
the mention is, and by the way, I think that comes across as fairly reasonable now, like
I mean, I'm being very reasonable there. I'm like, dude, there's a significant difference
between like the severity of these actions. And the reason why I didn't say the whole
like, well, you know, China didn't do to the Uyghurs as Israel has done to Gaza is because
then it comes across, I'm defending China's actions and I don't want to do that. I have
been very critical. And also, not only am I very critical of China's actions there,
I'm also very critical of Russia's actions as well. So like I need to,
I need to, you know, make that very clear in these sorts of conversations. I have very
short amount of time to describe my positions that require nuance and understanding of, you know,
of Chinese development or history, historical developments. But that's it. You need to start
focusing especially on numbers of dead people. There are not 20,000 dead Uyghurs,
those in the entirety of Xinjiang was not bombed or rubble. I know. But that's also,
that's also part of the reason why, that's also part of the reason why I always say like,
look, I'm not Chinese taxpayer. I'm an American taxpayer. You know what I mean? I'm an American
citizen. I'm an American taxpayer. You know, I am trying to reassert control over what I am
theoretically supposed to be able to have control over as a taxpayer and citizen and a voter.
And not only that, but also once again, once again, the answer is pretty simple.
If you want to make an even more direct comparison between Israel and China, all you need to say is
like, look, I have objected to China's policies in Xinjiang. Having said that, while I find
that to be immoral, it's to a much different severity, the actions of Israel and Gaza,
and the proof is in the reality that if Benjamin Netanyahu adopted Xi Jinping's unjustifiable
policies against Uighur Muslims and Xinjiang to the Palestinians and Gaza, the world would be
celebrating him as the most peaceful candidate of all time. The world, the Western leaders,
would straight up demand Nobel Peace Prize be delivered to Benjamin Netanyahu's doorstep
day in and day out
so gross implication you only hate what's happening in gossips jews doing it
yeah
now i i know i know he's well i think he's just trying to do a basic gotcha
he cooked your ass in this interview i don't know why you did this yet you
constantly on the defensive you got nothing good out of this only more ammo
for the right
no he made you look hypocritical he made me look hypocritical
What are you talking about?
dog
Do you live in in Israel like what do you mean? He made me look hypocritical
Not only did I stay consistent on my on my principled stance there
But also he looks ridiculous, but he's like why won't you criticize China?
I'm like well, I do but I'm an American taxpayer first and foremost
So of course, I want to fucking criticize Israel's action because Israel's doing it with my tax dollars
With China, Israel, and America's believe they're genocidal. Wait, what?
Do you think that we should never be able to
You're saying that the guy who said why won't you vacation in Israel actually made up a good point
I think you're a little out of step with where people are at this moment
Are you saying that any I will be considered peaceful to change the positions
I'm saying that the Western world would treat Nenyeho like he was a god of peace if he
took the mistreatment of the Xinjiang Uyghur Muslims, okay, in the hands of Xi Jinping,
which they treat as like the most evil version of genocide in this conversation.
He's saying like, well, why don't you cover, you know, how bad China is? And I'm like, I do.
Of course, I'm going to criticize the Chinese government for suppressing an ethnic minority
and going absolutely overboard with their policies there because I disagree with them.
He tried to frame me as hypocritical, it didn't work.
Did you read about the first government crackdown on all of these persons?
I did.
I think they arrested like a hundred and, uh, 140, uh, activists.
Yeah, also, here's another point that doesn't make any fucking sense.
Currently, as an American citizen, you can go and visit Xinjiang as an American citizen.
You cannot visit Gaza.
So you tell me if those two things are similar to one another.
It's also funny because like to be like, hey, oh, you oppose this genocide, name all genocides
is ridiculous.
I love when Dems are honest, foreign policy, and the views of Democratic Uniparty, I can't
see it.
It's more that you visited China, does the Gajia moment?
Yes.
Yeah, I had another rebuttal for that too.
I told them I visited Japan.
There were a couple instances where we talked about, there's a whole segment that we talk
about China where I'm like, look, there's some things that the Chinese government
does that I think are fascinating and we're oblivious to it and we should try to attempt
it. They have a very meritocratic approach when it comes to governance. They have a very
practical meritocratic approach. I like that they control the flows of capital and redirect
industry and rebuild industry and develop the engagement rapid organization, even development.
These are policies that I think we should be able to adopt here, make it fit within
American system. However, we already take note of China. We do the things that we shouldn't be
Chinese style. We have mass surveillance. That's backed by AI. I despise that. We are moving the
direction of political repression. I despise that. I don't want that to happen here. I love free
speech. I want to defend it. That's why I'm fighting against this administration.
Okay. And there are, there's so much more in the, in the China conversation. They're obviously not
going to put all the highlights where, where, you know, I'm making these points. So this is the best
they got on the China front. It's fucking nothing. The other, the other thing that I said is like,
look, I go to Japan, I love high speed rail in Japan. And nobody's talking about how the Japanese
government still to this day doesn't account for its war crimes in the center Japanese invasion
of China, right? Like, I told them, look, I told them, look, there are things that the Chinese
government has done, both historically that I'm very critical of and things that the Chinese
government still does that I'm very critical of. But I've told you in this conversation on numerous
occasions that i love america
at no point did you stop me to say hold on
america has more prisoners per capita and slavery protected by the
constitution in the united states of america
to to interject with that state sentiment whenever i say i love america
we can have a nuanced discussion in that consistency is what's frustrating for
many people who want our enemies are foreign adversaries to be considered
the most evil entities that have existed
or even a nuanced discussion about american wrongdoing is treated as a
nuisance
i did say that yes
i did that i did the classic like every time i bring up something that i love
about america
there isn't an interjection about how our founding fathers were slavers
You know?
What is this? At this point, you have the bypass on the MCL in the house,
and we're hitting record of four cameras who's hanging out in the studio.
Whenever a journalist is around. Yeah. Uh, it's not gonna, it's not gonna happen.
This instance, it did not happen because, uh, Hannah was walking Kaya.
U.S. attacks Iran unprovoked. Iran defends U.S. attacks Iran unproved. Iran defends itself
by attacking positions of the aggressor country. And this becomes the story of the danger that
Iran can still present. And evidence we need to spend more to maintain our posture against
them Russia and China. The House always wins, win or lose. The answer is always more mystery
money for the war machine. Getting our asses handed to us is not a story about whether
it was moral or wise to attack around with that provocation. It becomes a story about
how we need to do it better next time.
an assistant Michael La Rosa.
What? Oh God, I don't care about Michael La Rosa.
You fucking found a Michael La Rosa tweet.
On goddamn blue sky.
You want me to fucking.
That's crazy.
Yeah, Benchversa, this is my citizen Kane about his coming up, his movie that's coming
up, his dumbass movie that he made, the Islamophobic dumbass movie that he made.
this is my citizen Kane. I'm gay.
This movie is ass brother. Oh, that's so funny. What the fuck?
I hate white people.
Oops, wrong one.
I'm gay!
I'm gay.
And Lebanese!
Oh my god, why did he fall for that long?
That's crazy.
Wait, is it out yet?
Watch the full scene.
From up here you can see the first of our victories.
There will be many more.
Remember, O Muhammad, when those who disbelieved plotted against you to kill you or restrain
you or evict you from Mecca, what they planned and Allah plans.
And Allah is the best of planners.
You both did your part in our conquest and for the science things.
Is that an Israeli actor?
Come on, do you really have to ask that question?
Yes.
The answer is fucking yes.
And I don't even know.
Yeah.
Israeli guy dressed up as ISIS is actually pretty accurate the real life.
Oh, yeah, what do we do?
Transcends the things of this world
We just why the fuck would a supposed Palestinian give a shit about the caliphate
Like that was the Ottoman Empire that was you know imperial domination of a different sort
This do these guys just think like all Palestinians love the Ottoman Empire unconditionally cuz like obviously you know
No. Wait, are these guys positive or are they ISIS? I actually don't even know what they are.
I don't, I don't, I just assumed that he was like trying to dunk on.
Um, it's literally two characters from the Israeli SNL.
This is cuckold porn for the if-eat American fascists.
They can't bring their impotent selves to follow through on what they want to do to their enemies
Are they fantasized about watching Muslims do it instead?
That's actually a really good take holy shit
Probably ice members who are palsy years of shit, I don't fucking know anyway didn't expect so much death
death. We have killed the right amount to instill fear. Many we let run so they could tell others
of our strength and the remaining ones or.
Okay, something that's like kind of fucked up about this, by the way, because this is
a Zionist joint, obviously. This is a pro-Israel, you know, pro-Israel movie coming from a pro-Israel
outlet. The entire purpose is to form an Islamophobia. It's also staffed almost entirely by, you
IDF soldiers. And what he said right there, we killed a sufficient amount and we let the res run away,
is unironically what Israel did in Deir Yassin during the Nakba. That is exactly what Israel did.
That is exactly what Israel did before Israel existed. That's what the Haganah did,
that's what Irgun did, that's what Lehi did, where they went to these defenseless Palestinian villages
that had peace pacts with the surrounding Jewish villages, okay, they went there armed
with weapons that they got sometimes from the USSR by way of Czechoslovakia, and they slaughtered
the Palestinians. They slaughtered them viciously, and they let some of them escape
so that they could spread the message of the barbaric nature of the Zionist brigades,
so that next time they went to a larger town, there was no resistance.
So it is, once again, a case of pure projection coming from the Israeli movie makers.
Piano keys. I expected more resistance, but I should not be surprised.
So many in your country cannot even be bothered to produce children,
But this is a day that you will tell yours about
We're not we won't have kids I
Like everyone in Bruce I'm gay
But that's crazy why did it take so long for him to fall man?
Why he fall for so long man?
What the hell?
You have to watch this on stream, gaze are just lighter, don't you know anything?
True.
They used AI in VFX shot and it's fucking bad.
It's called Infidels.
It's like a bad 2000 movie spoof, yeah.
I think one of the funniest things that Ben Shapiro also did in the promotional materials
of this movie, was he said, when's the last time Muslims were treated as the enemy?
Can't remember. That's because it doesn't exist. I was like, are you fucking kidding me? Were
you in a coma for the entirety of the global war on terror? Were you comatose? Were you
a vegetable? That was every movie, every movie ever made presented Muslims as the big bad.
got another clip run hide fight infidels excuse the sneak peek oh my god this
you got 76,000 views six days ago bro they're so busted everything they're
doing is fucking fake everything they're doing is fake the reviews have been
obviously bought it into oblivion it's like 92% positive reviews it's you know
Oh, it's completely ridiculous.
Captain, play Saunders.
Yeah, I saw this.
Ah, can you hear me okay?
No, YouTube.
Good.
Are we dragging tension?
There are three ways Islam will conquer the West.
Through immigration.
Through the wombs of our women
Yo
That's a crazy thing to say bro, dude
By the way, getting a black American man to say that is extra wild
Because those words have been said on US soil in the past. This is literally birth of a nation
okay
How far
Did this man fall and by that I don't mean literally because he actually did fall on set
Like this dude was a Marvel guy, okay, and now he's doing
Islamophobic birth of a nation for Ben Shapiro, okay
Kang the Conqueror man. Yeah, this was hilarious is Islam a true threat. Hey, I have a question
When was the last time a major studio made a movie where jihadi islamists were the bad guys take your time?
It doesn't exist because the people who make our movies are ready willing and able to make a villain out of a pastor out of a cop
Or even a guy who owns a lawnmower a radical jihadist. They're complicated nuance. That's not to touch it. Don't want to hurt their feelings
Yeah, never been done before can't think of a single time where this has happened
Yes, what I was in a fucking comatose
positions since 2001. What do you mean? I just got out of a coma yesterday. Never seen
it. Doesn't exist. The major reason why they hate Islam so much is because it's a huge
threat to capitalism. I won't be covered, convinced otherwise. No, it's not a huge threat to capitalism,
man. What are you talking about? Look at all the Muslim nations, the Gulf monarchies. They
love capitalism. The real threat is the negative association with the state of Israel in the
western world. Ben Shapiro is doing this in line with the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs.
When Amahai Chikli went on that podcast and openly admitted, look, we've lost the argument on
anti-Semitism. We should just, you know, foment Islamophobia. That came months after a
PowerPoint presentation was exposed by Dropsite News. The PowerPoint presentation explained it very clearly.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry had come to the conclusion that it was virtually impossible to defend Israel on its face.
People did not like Israel in the Western world, but in order to maintain support for Israel, they had to redirect the attention.
What were they to do?
Well, they pulled it, they tested it,
they did focus groups, and they came to the conclusion that the Western world was still very Islamophobic.
So as long as they dialed up the Islamophobia, people would one, despise the Muslims far too much to care about what Israel was doing, and two, you could present the narrative, the argument that Israel was a bulwark against the dangerous hordes of Islam conquering the western world.
This movie is a byproduct of that Israeli foreign ministry, Hasbra push. Okay? That's precisely what this is.
As long as Israeli productions can consistently say Muslims are the real danger, and Americans
fall for this propaganda, then they can turn around and say, and look, we're a Western
style country, we're killing Muslims, we have to stop these Muslims because they're too
barbaric.
That's it.
That's it.
This is also part of the reason why when Benjamin Netanyahu came out immediately after 9-11,
He said this is good for us because America will finally learn what we've known for years that you know Islam is this true danger
He said that I think literally on 9-eleven 2001 or the day after
right
Israel knows
That when Americans in the Western world broadly speaking are Islamophobic
They get unlimited weapons. They get to justify their cruelty
They get to justify their belligerence in the region, the advancement of the Greater Israel Project, and without Western support, they couldn't do that.
And the only way to cultivate Western support right now, when their popularity is waning, is to say, look, we're fighting your same enemies.
You have your enemies inside of your territory.
And in some respects, we have those enemies inside our territory, and they must be excised by force.
Our assist historic turning point. Here's more proof to exactly what I was speaking to historic turning point
Israel moves towards recognizing the Austrian party for founded by former Nazis jeet here says
This is no accident
The only argument Israel has for itself that has any popular resonance in Europe and North America is that it is the
Bullwork against the Muslim hordes, which is an argument of the authoritarian right who will increasingly be Israel's only ally
And that's precisely the point
Is this movie playing in actual theaters?
I don't know.
I wouldn't be surprised though because there are a lot of powerful people that want messages
like this to be mass distributed.
I mean, look at fucking Robert Kraft.
He got Macklemore off the tour, right?
Yeah, here's the run hide fight infidel showing the anti-Israel encampments.
Yeah.
Do you believe what you're doing here?
Like this movie's goal is to literally say the pro-Palestinian encampments actually brought about
ISIS-style control over a college campus and the only way to deal with these fucking Muslims is by
killing them. That's their goal. This is Birth of a Nation for 2026, right? What Birth of a Nation did
for the inception of the Klan, this movie wants to do for the new version of the Klan that still
hates black people, but is actively lynching Muslims in the streets. Will it happen? I
don't think so. Will it work? Probably not. Then again, then again, these guys are backed by
powerful entities. They're backed by very powerful, very wealthy individuals who want this kind of
narrative to set in and therefore they'll get a massive propaganda push. Okay?
But make no mistake, this is by design.
I could really make a difference. Every significant movement in history started with protesting.
What would you say to someone who doesn't understand this protest?
Zionism is a supremacist modality. To decree that some people are chosen and others are not
Is ethnic cleansing disguised as nationalism?
Excuse me.
Uh, PJ, I'm just a student here.
How many Jews are in Palestine? How many Arabs in Israel?
The answer is zero Jews in Palestine, millions of Arabs in Israel.
So, which is the apartheid state?
Yes, well, the Jews aren't supposed to be.
Yeah, dude, we fucking own!
We invented an environment where we own this person with the best talking points, dude.
Look at this fucking blue-haired lip-tart.
Got him!
What is this? It is a rule, strangely, as a rule against Chris as Mousy, whose rules
were resolved by estimated 40 to 80 million deaths by your victims of America. Yeah. In
this very same interview, I of course talk about the excesses and the deaths born about
from the great leap forward, the pest campaign, and also the cultural revolution. But once
Once again, you could just slam whatever kind of fucking narrative you want to Richie because
you are an attack dog for A-Pack and you're still feeling the goddamn hurt that you had
to shut the fuck up about Israel because you realized that it was maybe getting a little
too hot for you.
Yeah, it's stolen land.
It's your own stolen land.
Yeah, this is literally a fucking shower monologue turned into a movie.
awesome baking millions of dollars into this project is hilarious to me God it
is yet another testament to how far the sophisticated propaganda apparatus has
fallen where they're so desperate where they're like they're they got the daily
wire to do this you know what I mean this whole area once belongs to the
Menachin Trial Nation we know that but we already honored them with the land
acknowledgement on day one oh okay okay good good so you probably know that
before then, the peaceful Irrepoi people thrived here.
But then one day the Menachems rode in with their superior numbers to scalp their men,
rape their women, and murder their babies.
All because they wanted this land and they liked killing it.
Ugh! Yeah, this-
Wait, what the fuck?
Dude, I love when people who are pro-Israel make this comparison and it's like,
okay, so you're saying that was good?
You're saying that that was good when America did it then? Like the pilgrims?
Like you're saying Israel's doing something similar and that's awesome?
Like what the fuck is wrong with you? Do you not understand that like historic wrongs that we have acknowledged?
Historic wrongs that we've acknowledged are being repeated in broad daylight right now and we should have learned the lesson of how wrong
Those those incidents those actions were and stop it
Perhaps that is exactly the reason why the the Nazi comparison is like
is a real how dare you moment because these guys can come across as like super insincere when they
talk about the American manifest destiny campaign the the raping and the pillaging the wholesale
slaughter of the indigenous population here but the moment that you turn it back to what the
Nazis did the savagery demonstrated the ruthless the the mechanized death demonstrated by the
Nazis and make a direct through line and a direct comparison to the mechanized slaughter of the
Palestinians in the hands of Israel, then people who are pro-Israel lose their fucking minds.
Again, another thing that actually got brought up over and over again in my conversation with
Alex Thompson. I wonder if they'll put that in the interview as well. He brought it up a lot. He
was like, well, why do you call the defenders of Israel Nazis? I said, look, don't behave like
Nazis is that simple the entire purpose of never again and the entire purpose behind
Holocaust scholarship is so that we
Understand the banality of evil and how society becomes so ruthless and so vicious in an effort not to ever repeat it again
It would make no sense to learn about these historic atrocities if we can't use them to stop the new one from taking place
Huh
I also love how a random man had to step in and take over from a female journalist.
I know, because the female journalist was a libtard, dude, because she's a woman.
This is the revisionist history of the mouth-breathing insult.
The Palestinians could have made Gaza a bustling metropolis.
The whole world gave an aid to exactly that.
Instead, they voted in Hamas, a terror organization funded by the formerly-life fanatics of Yvonne,
because they don't care about a homeland.
They just want to kill Jews.
Now you morons are turning my homeland into a borderless lawless daycare for a bunch of third-world scum acts to wait everything about America
except our money
Don't this ice is killed this kid
Like what is this movie man? What so like where is Isis right now? Are they in the clock tower?
Are they waiting in the clock tower where they're just like alright now is our time inshallah we must strike
So I guess run hide fight is what your brain is telling you when you try to watch this movie
No the actor is not Israeli
My name is Ibrahim Asad Melon.
My name is Ibrahim Asad Gaddafi Osama bin Laden.
And I am here to destroy the infidel.
My name is Ibrahim Asad Melon.
I'm an expatriate of the Islamic State in Iraq and Al-Sha'a.
We who love and serve Allah, fought back against the American...
I mean, it's very cool that Israel is still making use of ISIS to the best of their ability.
I would say that this is, you know, at least in this circumstance, they're not like directly
using ISIS in the region, but instead using the imagery of ISIS and the likeness of ISIS
the new propaganda, right? I mean, Americans and the Zionists and established the glorious
caliphate. My name is Ibrahim Assad, Muhammad, Ibrahim Assad, Muhammad, Muhammad, and I have
voted one million times illegally for Zohran Qwameh, Muhammad, who is doing the great Islamic
act of Takia. This is a great victory on the college campus of
Columbia. This is what Mahmood Khalil wanted. At one point,
it's crazy, he turns to the camera and he says, and I will
never condemn Hassan Piker. It's I don't know why they added
that, because this whole media frenzy started recently, but I
I guess they had to like insert that in, yeah.
Ya Allah, I will never condemn Hassan Piker.
He is our greatest propagandist.
I love marrying my goat and a child, a child goat.
It is my favorite thing to do.
I have four of them.
It was a place where Muslims could live with dignity
find a refuge from the scourge of secularism and the lands of unbelief. But, unfortunately,
your imperialism would not allow you to leave us alone in peace, pursuing the ways of Allah. No.
It was destroyed.
But the miracles of Allah,
They never cease this kind of stuff is really funny because the Zionism equals racism shit
Like you know how fast you would get yeeted off a campus if you spray painted that
That would be media that would drive as the top story
On the Jake Tapper show on Dana bash for like two months
they'd be like, what has gone wrong in American institutes of higher learning? And how and is
the death penalty enough for the students that wrote this heinous neo-nazi style graffiti propaganda?
Should we punish the family the family of the perpetrator of this heinous act of anti-semitism?
What? Hassan is right or opposed?
said that America is the top dog in terrorism. Do you think America then is worse than Al Qaeda?
Yes.
Oh, shit. I don't want to fucking, there's probably TOS on this, right?
He that was calling out a man for sure. I just didn't realize that there's probably
some TOS here. Oh my God, literally the next one was Abu Ghraib. Oh my God. Thank God I stopped it.
Holy shit, literally the next clip was Abu Ghraib.
Good catch. Yeah, you can't watch a fucking compilation of American crimes against humanity without it violated in terms of service.
This is what, you know, it's crazy. That's the first time I ever got banned on Twitch was because that I watched a Michael Moore documentary and they showed like what America was doing.
doing. I can't remember which one it was and I can't remember what war crime it was that
America had engaged in and and one frame from that documentary got me banned for the first
time ever in twitch it was like 2019 or 2018.
Anyway let's continue with this cinematic masterpiece. I feel like I'm watching so many
clips that were basically, I'm watching this movie clip by clip at this point.
For here, today inside of your United States, we establish a new Cal Fates.
The blue sky just goes on, America tears a bit, went into he's right, but that's not
what pound for pound means, almost immediately.
Okay, whatever, still productive, it's healthy.
small. Every soul who truly serves Allah is a whole world. And only in a true caliphate
can we truly serve Allah. The great Satan America will fall.
Awesome.
I already did this one. I already did this one. We already covered this.
In this clip, some very reasonable reasons do culture genocide.
Little genocide takes precedence over culture genocide.
And as an American citizen, it feels a duty to speak out against his taxes funding.
funding literal genocide. Do you think he spells great Satan in malice standard English?
Yes. Is that Ryan Graham at the end? Wait what? Yeah. It's like watching a documentary
gets every detail right.
I feel like if I watch this on stream the fucking daily wire so petty they would collapse my ass dude
They would definitely copy strike me while I was watching on stream because they probably have enough producers that are like constantly keeping
Paying attention with fuck I'm up to you know what I mean
I would love to watch this shit
But it was like with with Gavin McGinnis remember when Gavin McGinnis did that interview with Kanye West and I was like shitting on him
Yeah, see, they are, they've disabled it already. See? I'm gonna accomplish the funniest scenes
from Run-Hide Fight Infidel, some intentionally funny, some accidentally funny.
Yeah, they're probably a big salty. Apparently, this is how the movie ends. This is the
terrorist big villain's speech at the end of the Daily Wars new movie, the terrorist
ideologies movies incoherent it feels like a 12-year-old wrote it after listening to his dad listen to Rush Limbaugh on the car on the way to school
The American way is your task forces and in your trials your climate change and your abortions
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
He assassinates a handcuffed prisoner?
Okay, one, true, has happened before, okay, that's number one.
to dog you agree with the fucking ISIS guy if you're Ben Shapiro why would you
write that the Ben Shapiro Ben Shapiro goes you know yeah I got a hand of the
ISIS guy me and him we're on the same wavelength we both hate the nonsense of
climate change and abortions. Why would he, why would he ideologically position himself
as having the same exact world view as the ISIS guy? And also, why would he then turn
around and, and, you know, kill the prisoner of war, this handcuff and be like, that's
the American way dog like we love doing fucking war crimes. Yeah, we love being ISIS. Instead,
that's the that's the American way. The worst part is the movies as a pro gamer. I can't
express enough. This is one of the most bashing career movies I've ever seen one of the heroes
is a maulsword wielding incel races and he's played as the comic relief he immediately knows
what kind of jammers terrors used from playing online video games. Yeah they got to put the
asmongold fans in the, in the, they got to insert the asmongold fans into the movie.
The thing about that run hide fight infidels movie is that it's like a cathartic fantasy of
what will happen for people who believe the events of the movie are currently happening
and then after seeing it they will believe those events literally took place in the past.
like no-go zones, 40-beheaded babies, etc. The fantasy world of the modern Islamahub is both
imminent and eternal and also hasn't happened yet. I know I spent a lot of time recently minimizing
the cultural origins of Islamophobia, but its cultural manifestations actually are very interesting
in the way that they syncretize anti-Semitism, anti-communism, and race panic. Yes, it is an
amalgamation of those three major factors that have played a foundational role in developing
contemporary western society, anti-communism, anti-Semitism, and race panic. It's a brilliant
assessment. Islamophobia has bits and pieces of all of those things, okay? Which I guess
makes sense because that's just what fascism is. It's just the more modern manifestation
of fascism. It's no longer, it's no longer expressly anti-semitic. Some fascists try
to do fascism the old-fashioned way, you know? They try to. They still are keeping up with
the old ways of doing, you know, the classic anti-Semitic mode of fascism, right? Having
said that, the new age fascists that are embedded in positions of power have decided to utilize
the exact same terminology, the exact same language, the exact same methods, but instead
of directing them towards the socialist Jews, which is what, you know, Judeo-Bolshevism was,
that's what Hitler did, they're directing it at Islamo-Commitism, Islamo-Socialism,
Islamo-Goshism in France, Islamo-Leftism. That is what it is, it's the exact same thing.
They say it's the red-green alliance, right? Much cope is happening on the right.
Build a 36 gallon tank of the King Ranch with premiums, 642 a gallon here in Bakersfield.
They didn't even blink. Tommy asked if it bothers me. No, this is a parody one, dude.
I said, brother, if Iran doesn't get a nuclear weapon, then charge me 10. Then I bought a
couple white monsters. Freedom was over. Freedom is over. Put it on my tab. Yeah, no, this
is fucking satire. I mean, it's satire, but there is a real account that posted this and
Mark Levin was like, you might, you might get sir have won the day. Remember? I think
one of the, one of the greatest clocks from this guy, by the way, is the fact that many
Many people will legitimately watch this movie and think it happened in the real world.
That is terrifying.
Many people will watch this movie and think it already happened and it can happen in the
future and it's currently happening, right?
And their takeaway will be that the events in this movie have already taken place.
I do worry about that.
In the same way that I worry about AI, right, artificial intelligence, generative AI has
created this incredible opportunity for brain poisoned boomers to invent the hypothetical
dystopia that they're terrified by and then actually get scared by their own invention.
In the past, a lot of these guys didn't have the tools to basically generate this hypothetical
reality and scare themselves with it.
It was only an invention in their minds.
Now, you can just make it look real as a matter of fact and then make other boomers who might
be on the fence, who might be in the margins, also believe that this is a real thing that
place and unfortunately movies play a similar role because so much of the conservative mind
is poisoned by completely made-up fears. The more you lean into those made-up fears,
the more you materialize them in the form of art, which I don't even want to call this fucking art,
let's be real, it's not, it's just a racial agit prop, but the more you manifest this reality
in some kind of medium that you can taste, feel, watch, hear, whatever.
The more it becomes a permanent fixture in their minds, the more it becomes more real than it was before.
78-year-old white guy with a gun threatened to kill four Muslims, armed Troy Mann, charged
with...
Armed Troy Mann charged with hate crimes after threatening to kill Muslim men outside of
library.
What do you watch run hide fight? Is that what happened?
My man watch run hide fight in Fiddles and was like I gotta do something about this.
What?
Why does this song look like he's dating Elaine Benes for one episode?
What is- what?
Do I?
I know it's a Seinfeld reference.
I am ashamed to admit I love Seinfeld.
I just don't understand why I look like you should watch it off stream tonight that gives
a full review tomorrow like how Benchbear reviews lib movies like Barbie.
the color grading too.
Elaine pulls dude is a compliment.
Yeah, I'll take it.
I guess I'm not ashamed to say I like sign for Larry David has his
fingerprints all over that.
Have you watched the first movie? This was a sequel? This is a sequel? What the fuck's
the first movie? What? ISIS couldn't take over one college campus? Fight, flight, freeze,
Fiddles. Um, I will do, I will do the streamer awards applications or nominations for myself
tomorrow. How about that? Believe it or not, Ant-Man, Quantamania. I'll do it tomorrow.
about that. I will definitely do it tomorrow. I'm gay. And then just kicked off. We didn't
even get the situation monitor yet. What is this? See, if I hear a son, Piper's name,
one more God damn time, it'll lose my mind. It's not just the mainstream media. It is.
just the mainstream media. It's also a huge portion that still controls the DNC is this old school
democratic party kind of nonsense. It just doesn't work, but it doesn't matter. There is a very strong
portion of this party that is like dead set on maintaining what they used to have and or going
back to what we used to have. That's never going to happen. But this- It's more insidious than that.
The people that you're talking about, whom I refer to as the preservationist,
Yeah, they have the same donors that are funding MAGA right now. Hassan is the first blow at new media
Look independent media. This is who we're going after you. This is the example
We're gonna make my son's listen to his son. Yeah, now Republicans going after him
I get it but the Democrats that do it so patronizing to young people that are trying to get involved
Oh, yeah, you're saying anybody who listens to Hassan, you know, it's just we have to come outright dismiss them
And I asked my sense. Do you believe everything that son says? No
I'm like, I'm not with him on all the China stuff, but God, he really makes me critically think and he's so I love to get my news through
He loves China. Yeah, he loves it. Harold looks like they got the memo that
Is this
Butfell says
These guys call themselves progressive and their ideas never progress dude. You can't be a conservative and say that that is nutty a
conservative saying that
Progressive's ideas never progress is hilarious. It's literally in the name of the ideology
You used to be so cool suit era is a L chill chill on that chill on that big dog
Benchboro bus else I had you should ask that to a shimmering campaign for you
There are Jewish voters in your state who are concerned about your relationship with yeah
I don't give a fuck about Benchboro worse than al-Qaeda has some pagers views on the US from the national desk
We're skipping that. Else has a comment from my garage. We're skipping that.
There's fallout from the interest rate hike. We'll do that. Trump lashed out at European Union and also Canada.
The
new moral conservatives
breaking for the first time as the Iran war began, JPMorgan says no longer has a baseline view on oil writing, we simply don't know how to model the end game.
And then the assumption that the Middle East disruptions are temporary is becoming increasingly difficult to sustain per JPMorgan global research.
The bank says it assumed there were economic red lines.
The Trump admission will be unwilling to cross.
And that six months later, many of those lines have been crossed,
yet the exit strategy is less clear, not more.
Chevron CEO said this week the great fuel crisis has officially arrived as
Trump officials continue to claim the disruption temporary.
Alan Fisher posts.
Alan Fisher posts that I feel liberated instead of top banker.
We can say our word and pussy without the fear of getting canceled.
It's a new dawn.
How comfortable must you be to literally vote for just that? Like that is peak liberation for you.
That is mind-boggling, man.
Can we clip and troll you like this or will it mess you on the national stage?
It's not by your house on 34 uses bench for his leaders blockbuster confers j-tavres
Dude, what are you doing? What are you doing? No, don't fucking clip shit like that
Come on, dude. If you're gonna write it like and make sure that it's obviously satire
They're gonna fucking literally take you seriously at this point
We got to be a little bit more cognizant, right? Like we can't be like jokes or jokes. I can make them you can make them
That's fine. I'm not gonna tell you like, you know, this is a this is a legalized comedy sphere. Okay, I'm not gonna tell you not to do comedy
Having said that, you know, if you're posing on Twitter, that's dangerous territory
There's a lot of fucking neurodivergence on there who do not operate under the assumption that the comedy should be legal
Okay
Anyway, let's start with the interest rate hike against the interests of our big beautiful president
Is it in Trump blasting the Federal Reserve's decision to hike interest rates for the first time in three years?
Interest rates in the United States should be 1% or not.
Trump, who has long called for rock bottom borrowing costs, telling our Karen Travers that other members of the Fed's board are to blame for the rate hike, not his handpicked chairman, Kevin Warsh.
I talked to Kevin and I said you might as well vote with the board because it's not going to matter.
The Fed's decision was unanimous, despite pressure from Trump, Warsh arguing a rate hike as the
responsible move to bring down rising prices.
All he wants to do is build ugly-ass monuments with his name on them and also molest the
bags of money.
And the money folks keep going, sure, will let you molest it and then they just take
it away.
It's got to be a real tough time for Donald Trump, he's like, come on, let me molest it
a little bit.
Come on, you promised me I'd put you on there. I fired the live guy. I'll fire you too if you don't let me molest it
Let me molest the money
And in part by the iran war gas prices now at the highest level since may at four dollars and forty four cents a gallon
diesel at a record six dollars thirty nine cents a gallon
Since the start of the war in february the typical household has spent an extra
$930 in fuel costs
The plain fact is that inflation is too high and has been for too long.
We asked the Fed Chairman if he had a message for the president.
What is your message here to President Trump who has repeatedly called to cut interest rates, not raise that?
I've got nothing for you on a discussion with the president.
The rate hike means the cost of credit cards, car loans and mortgages will go up.
A 30-year fixed-rate mortgage is already over 7%.
It's frustrating, leaving first time home buyers like David Sekula in Virginia
priced out. I don't want to have to spend all my income or saving some
first time condo.
So the Fed chairman acknowledged that rate hikes won't cause overall gas and
oil prices to come down and it's attempt to try to slow spending the economy to
keep the rest of prices from going up. The flip side of all of this is that you
get more on your money in the bank when interest rates are higher. Certificates
deposit high yield savings accounts. Those rates close to 5% now on your savings, Michael.
You know, a lot of people fill in the pinch though. Thank you so much for that little bit.
Staggering rise in gas prices. Whoa, red lion polleys, the vibes on the ground are the worst
I've ever seen in my life. No one wants to promote candidates. No one wants to knock doors. No one
wants to do shit. Attendance for any right wing event is at all time lows anywhere I go. Thank
you, Donald Trump for ruining it for us and handing the country over to socialism. Yeah.
Now, look, don't worry, don't worry, go vote for the Democrats, red line politics, they're
a far more competent anti-socialist force than Republicans ever could be.
Let's be fucking real.
If you want to actually vote for a real anti-communist force in this country, there are plenty of
Democrats you could vote for.
They literally despise us, and I mean this sincerely.
I think there are Democrats out there like Republicans want to kill me, sure, whatever.
You know, I'm the opposition.
I hate them.
They hate me.
But I think the deepest thing that near-attended has for someone like myself is far, far worse
than the anger or resentment that she feels towards Republicans.
Okay?
Straight up.
I'm not even kidding.
I think Neera Tandon hates me and people like me, people like all of us, Jake Tapper too,
Dana Bash as well.
It's pathological.
I think they hate us more than they hate the Republicans because the Republicans are
a part of like the established normal way of doing politics.
I think there are a lot of people in positions of profound power and influence within the
ranks of the democratic establishment that would prefer republican fascist capitalism
to democratic socialism.
That's it.
Now the voters, the voters obviously, when left to their own devices, when they're making
their own choices, in spite of the barrage of smears, the dedicated, the concerted effort
to undermine our movement still end up voting for us instead of the establishment Democrats
with some exceptions, right?
But what's really interesting about it is the people in positions of power in the Democratic
Party, they would much rather fight their left-rank than the Republicans.
Yeah, are you on well?
I fight back against the SA every day, says Nieritan.
And notably, she admits she's fighting the SA, not Republicans.
Yeah, matter of time until she joins DSA folks, but oh, yeah, she bent the knee. She
Jennifer like to Dizora mom Donnie, which is good. Next up, Maylock heroes up next, maybe
even at some point, Dottie, Elisa of the chivalier, Claire Valdez, Skye's the limit, Chris
Donovan McKinney. We got studs. We got wonderful candidates that are entering Congress in this
upcoming session. I'm very excited about it. And they can't take that away from us.
Here's the co-founder of the American conservative who says,
my tentative thought is that between all the vans' allies being forced out and this
cow-towing to Mary Madison is that we're approaching a 2008 situation where the only
sane option is to vote for a Democrat.
So what kind of Democrat is important?
Not some woke lefty with someone who understands Trump's foreign policy is nuts.
So not a Schumer type.
My guess is that an institution like J Street will have its moment not extremist, not anti-Semitic,
not anti-Israel, but pro-priest, pro-diplomacy, and anti-Lakud.
I mean he's a fucking, he's the American conservative magazine co-founder.
Like him saying that shit is crazy to me.
If Niritana was in a room with Hitler, Mussolini and you, she would team up with the other two to Kirk, you 100%.
I'm telling you right now.
Neera Tandon loves a strong opposition because a strong opposition from the Republicans is only a benefit to her fundraising.
It doesn't matter if fascism destroys this country. She doesn't give a fuck about that. She's rich. She's powerful. She will survive.
I, on the other hand, and this movement that we represent on the other hand, represent a true threat to her comfortable cynic here.
Okay, that's it
Because
We make her worldview and her politics that has dominated the Democratic Party for the last
Three decades irrelevant
Especially if we continue to succeed and we compound on those victories
We continue to build on this movement
That's it. You see a college, Jay Street org was kicked out of hello for not being pro-Israel
enough. Yeah, that's not surprising. This is literally these. Okay, this is why I don't
like rip on J Street that much. I'm partial. I'm a little bit biased because of Simone
and Noah, but this literally is why Simone and Noah Colwin are anti-Zionist Jews. They
used to be in J Street when they were in Berkeley. Okay? It's good. These organizations, especially
they're like college campus branches are good it starts them on the journey do I
prefer them to be anti-zionist before then yes and I say this is someone who is
constantly in the crosshairs of J Street okay yes no Colwin and Samoza were
in J Street Samoza men made the Israelism documentary if you remember and
obviously Noah is, you know, my good friend,
you see her all the time.
So they were at Berkeley and they were a part of J Street
when they were in college, okay?
And this exact same thing happened to them.
And that's when it clicked where they were like,
oh, this is like completely unsustainable.
These guys unironically do not want any,
like they don't have any sincere interest
in finding like a peaceable resolution.
For Jay Street, I see it as a holdover state.
Jay Street will either produce ultra-Zionists inevitably, or the more likely scenario is
they will produce anti-Zionist Jews, because Jay Street's position is inherently contradictory.
Zionism is unsustainable because Israel is not a liberal entity. It's not a
liberal institution. It is illiberal in nature. So as long as you believe that
like, oh well we're gonna turn Israel into this like liberal Zionist utopia,
eventually there's gonna come a point where you recognize that that is
completely untenable and and or you're going to become super conservative yeah
put a jayshree to still awful in the position they push on progressives who
listen to them is still awful I agree I don't disagree with you fucking
condemned me as well but do you see what I'm saying for some they have to get a
starting point somewhere you know I mean this is a good entry point into that
conversation this is not right man it's like same birthright is giving people
like Adam go to Israel no no I wouldn't consider birthright to be on the same
wavelength ideologically as fucking J Street you're wrong
anyway I gotta go because I have an appearance on love it or leave it from
live audience being taped and also it will be featured on MS now as a matter of fact. So it's
very exciting. I have to go do that. Okay, I have to go do that. So I gotta end early, but tomorrow
we'll have more opportunities for situation monitoring and so much more, so much more.
Holy shit, your head looks hella small on the outfit. That's crazy that you said that.
Ah, that's disrespectful and also wrong and also fuck you. Anyway, love you guys, and I will see you tomorrow as always
