I guess kind of a little bit of a spoiler, but the the obtained trident thing, that fifth thing
on the third row. That's only needed for two advancements. They're actually on the second
row on the far right. Throwaway joke and very, very frightening. Throwaway joke is easy. You
just throw a trident at anything. Very, very frightening is throw a trident at a villager
and get it to turn to a witch from lightning. That's just a game interaction. That's an
advancement. The problem is thunder is rare. It happens on average once every six hours
And it's also completely seed independent, game independent.
There's nothing you can do about it.
There's literally just a line in the level file that tells you where the seed is and
what the spawn coordinates is.
There's just a line that determines the weather, and that's random every time.
So even if you play set seed, which people do, the weather is still completely random.
And the odds of getting thunder in a little bit over two hours is a one and four.
So this run at the time was actually really lucky because it was world record at the time
and I never had a faster pace where I was just missing thunder because there's a lot of like
runs can die to a lot of stuff. Obviously, the God apple I cannot get the God apple I can miss,
you know, any one of the advancements just RNG. But you could make the argument that it's like,
oh, if I went a different way on the seed or I got luckier, like,
flew a different direction or the drops are better, I could have, you know, I could
have done something better. Like not realistically, but if I, if my brain was thinking a
a different way I could have gotten the record. But Thunder is just like fully random. So there
is someone who beat my time around five months ago. They got a 202, but they didn't have
Thunder. It's doi pingu. He's the like, I think he's in second on the spear.com. We do well
when you looked. He's definitely better than me currently, because I just haven't played
this category in a while, but he has a 202. He just didn't get thunder. He didn't hit
the one on four. He doesn't have it. He doesn't have a 202 by the game definition
number two or two, but by just like, you know, the skill based stuff he did in the run is
just better. Like he had everything but thunder for the last time. And then when you're waiting
on thunder, you're just digging around sitting in a village waiting for it to rain.
I mean, this is like low key hitting up, you know, a ranked PB in a private room. It's
like, yeah, I mean, he hit it, but you don't count it. Like it wasn't in a match.
