So they go above the legendary status.
They're like, you literally form the,

Um, apparently, if we get like one artifact weapon, I'll put in like five gift subs every single time we find one.
And the same thing if we find multiple, um, and then if we make like top five, I'll put in gift subs, uh, top three.
I could do like, let's do top five, we could do five gift subs, top three.
We can do, um, 10 gift subs, and then if we actually win a game, I'll do 25 gift subs.
I can do that. Yeah, they're like red weapons. Yeah, they're like new, new rarity and for those of you that have never played the game.
The big weapons in the game, the legendaries, the gold weapons, have like completely unique movesets and crazy stuff and there's not just one weapon set in the entire game.
There's literally a metric boat load of different weapon types that you can use throughout it. So yeah, getting used to how they work and how they function is just a part of the game.

And he's like, this looks kind of cool. So we started playing it on,

S. And it was just free to play. So of all the people that were out here,
and like, dump in time in the Naraka, dude, like Simmons found his BR for a while.
And like, Simmons has officially played this way more than even me at this point. It's kind of funny.
Yeah, it's just such an easy game because thing is like, honestly, like, there's like the really high skill level stuff.
But you generally on quick matches, you don't get put generally. They don't put you in the lobby with high level people.
So most of the time when you're playing, you're playing with people, if you're a newcomer, you're going to be playing with other people.
There's the best matchmaking. Yeah, for sure. It's one of the most like easy breezy to jump in in our
beers because some some games like this you'll jump in and you get you get owes immediately. That's not
good. That just doesn't happen. Not immediately. It's funny. It's funny how obvious it is when you're
about to get hosed because you call them peacocks, right? There's like a trio of beautiful ladies
like running around and they're just adorned like beyond limits. Like it is
have so much crazy fancy blingle over there. You're like, we're gonna die and
they start running at you like, oh no, this is the root of peacocks. It's gonna kill us.

so you synergize it and someone's got a healing super,
but they just are constantly healing the team around them.

Rumble verse was much more grappling focused, right? The RPS and rumble verse
really revolved around strike throw. And in this one there is throws, but not
a part of the core systems. It's mostly about it's attack and parry, right? And
you have regular attacks, you have charged attacks and you have like parries. So the
system makes almost every interaction rock paper scissors based. And it's about evasion,
mobility movement, all that kind of stuff. This game has like legit like crazy aerial
footsies. You're not going to be doing that in the first few sessions you play because if
If you engage most people, it's going to be like normal.
But the cool part is that, yeah, like,
depending on what weapon you're playing,
everything has a different boost set.
So you have to figure out the boost sets.
There's duck attacks.
There's like launchers, all that kind of stuff,
that this stuff can be a little predictable,
but the speed of the game is so fast that, like,
you know, it's about minimizing options
and figuring out what are people going to do.
Great sword users like to run in and like charge heavy
and you can easily carry those.
And when you pair somebody, you disarm them.
They literally drop their weapon on the ground,
so it's mad powerful.
That's why you're like holding on
to a whole bunch of different weapons.
Yeah, then you get your accessories,
like your soul jades, give you different stats.
So you can make yourself like health-based,
defense-based, you know, whatever.
And they also modify your moveset.
They also give you new moves.
So it can be very good.
Yeah, I didn't get a chance to use the whipsword.
This is what dusk was going to be like, I don't know, dude.
I don't know if you're going to get any from soft online games
with like the combat depth of this.
This game's got a lot of crazy combat depths.

If there's one thing, Chad, you wanted to understand.
This game is definitely of all, like, the combat BRs
that have existed probably the most, like, fighting game
centric.
It's, like, just relatively quick.
It takes them getting used to.
It definitely has, like, a bit of a learning curve,
but there's a lot of tools in the game to ease you
through that learning curve.
And the best part is that it's free.
Best part is that the game is literally free to play.
there is no pay to win elements in terms of stats or anything like that.
Everything is purely cosmetic based.
And it's a true like still expression game, similar to how like fighting games should be, you know,
and yeah, this game did pretty well. This game is huge overseas. It's insane.
Yeah, it's very much classic style like you you spawn in with nothing, find what you need to find,
You know, there's no, there's no, you know, loadouts or anything like that. It's, it is strictly about like,
there's a little bit of map knowledge because okay, go to like a place in a map. You probably
you might find something good. Yeah, high value. Yeah, but it's like, you know, it's about what you're
fine. And you're not necessarily going to find anything you're looking for. You can't,
you can't plan to always have, you know, your favorite weapon. Yeah. So, encouraging you to be like,
Okay, we'll get good with a variety of weapons, so, you know, you're not just like always looking just for the one weapon or the one stole gem.
Yeah, it's, it kind of encourages you to play like a variety of different play styles.
And that's what the neat thing is is that I usually would have a great sword because I'm an idiot.
But like the dual blades, any of the new weapons they've added, the fists, we did a sponsored stream when the fists were added and they were cool dude.
I actually wish I used them there. I start to sword because it was the first purple I found.
It's like Call of Duty Blackout, but melee dude, why do you think Simmons likes this so much?
Because I'm not even kidding you, outside of being in the modern era, which is what Blackout does.
The design of the map and the way the map looks reminds me of Blackout, like it's pretty, you know?

I found one in that last mask called Ripple Step
where every time I dodge I would go invisible for a few seconds.

And in those, they all like synergize with other characters in different ways.
That freezing halt is so good.

can just waste her all because you know it's going to happen.
Yeah and then there's the the I forget who the character is but say you're getting you
see Viper because it's there's this long warm up before Viper can stun you see the
the lines coming from her exactly. Yeah there's a big there's a big queue. If someone has
the character that makes your team invisible. It breaks it. It's a hard
counter. Oh, really. That's cool. But he gets done because it makes her
her her concentration connection or whatever. That's kind of cool. So they're
their hard counter seekers. So it's a BR with hero shooter aspects that
sort of you could think of it that way. Here's the crazy part. We're not even
we're not even talking about guns. Because there's muskets. There's like
blender buses, like close range shotguns,
like that kind of stuff, there's cannons, dude.
Like the players that are insane
or the guys that are like flipping dip it in running around
and they'll switch to a gun, like immediately.
And boom, shoot you a little bit,
must get cancel out of stuff.
It looks, it looks actually nuts.
Like, like, the true, like, you know,
Wuxia, cinemas shit.
When you see players that are good at this stuff,
like running around and doing this stuff,
it's so cool.
I actually still follow the Naraka competitive channel,
that like has like translators and stuff,
where they have like big Morocco
events like every two weeks or something.
And the level of play on there is just, I'm like,
all right, this is one to watch,

in the guide and stuff, like getting used to it takes a couple of like minutes. And once
you kind of understand like the core base of the game, there's a really cool like story mode
thing that they have that opens you and as like you fight a boss and a couple of enemies
and teaches you how to loot and all that kind of stuff. And we might get it to the on two of
the maps, you might you might occasionally if you win, you might have to go fight moon bane or
or sunwing.
Oh, yeah, like the PVP's, PVE stuff, right?
Yeah, it's just, it's like a Perry battle
or a shooting battle,
where if it's against the Phoenix,
if to shoot it and shoot down it's,
it's a fire orbs, it shoots a unit,
if it's the drag and shoots lasers,
you gotta Perry the lasers.
Sick.
I think we did something like that
at one point last time we played.
The reason for that is if you do that,
I think if you beat the snake or the sunwing
like 20 times, you get a legendary weapon scale.
Oh, so it just gives you a nice visual reward.
Yeah.
So you get something.
It means that the win the match is, and you have to get lucky enough to fight
them after.
But after you've done that like a certain amount of time, you'll literally earn a unique,
a unique weapon skin for doing.

I don't know, but I'll recommend just checking it out on either PlayStation or Xbox,
or Xbox, that's what you got, because it's still just free to play.

which was okay. I thought it was okay.
We played it the first week it was out, and it was good,
but it was like needing a little bit of work.
