On one hand, cases have been getting more and more expensive as they have slowly tightened
supply and we open all of them.
On the other hand, for a variety of reasons people have been speculating that cases might
be about to be deleted.
It's in this context of Man's songs but also the world.
What are we saying?

It's probably just a single line of code they didn't announce it and it's not even
something they publicly know as being a thing in the first place, but nonetheless, the community

So what is it exactly?
Well basically, when a case gets discontinued in Counter-Strike, it doesn't 100% vanish.
Instead, it goes to something called the Rare Drop Pool.
1% of all cases dropped in CS come from the Rare Drop Pool, and most of the cases in the
game are part of it.
This is the drop pool.
When you get a drop, it has a 0.025% chance of being a weapon case one.
Do you see it?
Or at least, that's how things were until about a day ago, because Valve just went
in and removed this feature.
Now, Valve didn't announce they'd done this.
In fact, they don't even acknowledge that rairdrops are a thing.
But it was spotted very, very quickly by case farmers,
and like every single small change that's taken place these days,
the community immediately responded by freaking out and panicked by stuff,
because that's just how skins work at the moment.
Now, when this first happened,
I wasn't quite sure how far this hype was going to go,
because some of it is stupid and really shouldn't be happening.
But as it turns out, pretty much every case is gone up in price.
At the high end, stuff like prism inspections and chromazism...
