Welcome everyone to the 2026 Pokemon World Championships here in San Francisco.
Competitors have been competing all weekend long preparing for exactly this day.
Championship Sunday and we are here in the Chase Center Arena.
We are going to be starting with Pokemon Unite but we got all the Pokemon titles here
and we are gonna be crowning champion after champion on that stage.
Welcome everybody, this is your pre-show, I am Zoinks,
joined by Wondership, Danly, and Sochan.
We're gonna be talking all things world championships
as the crowd starts pouring in what's going on.
It's early in the morning, but we have incredible Pokemon action
to be breaking down.
And what a weekend it's been.
Wondership, how fun has this world championship been?
It's been amazing and there's so much to go today first. We're starting off with Pokemon unites of course
We all here on the desk are very excited about that the grand finals
And then we're going over to Pokemon go grand finals right after that followed of course by the three different
spots for TCG and then BGC a little bit later on for senior senior and
Masters so lots of action throughout the entire day
I know that so thanks you and I both love all of the games and I know we're very excited for oh, yeah championship Sunday
You can't miss a single moment and I mean that's been the case for the Pokemon you might championship series as well
Our tournament has been
Unbelievable it has been a lot of fun in the landscape of Pokemon United has been changing a quite a bit this year leading up to
to this championship Sunday moment,
Denly, about this tournament,
any favorite moments that you could think of
that happened overall.
Look, I think we have to be completely realistic here.
The entire tournament has been my favorite experience.
Like, this is the grand finale for Pokemon Unite
because for anyone that is unaware,
this is our last ever championship at Worlds.
After this, we will no longer be around.
So for crowning our last champion,
we're basically experiencing the best of the best.
We couldn't ever have the Pokemon Unite and so, I mean, we've had incredible weekend.
We have had so many upsets.
We assume our top teams are going to be making it to the grand final,
but time and time again, our underdogs coming in and surprising us with some incredible plays.
Yes, that is so true, Danily, because we saw earlier in the tournament,
Thanos, one of the highest contenders that we had before going into Worlds,
getting eliminated, then we saw Root Vignitas, number one...
