I work with people who are in recovery
from eating disorders, for trauma education groups,

disorder. That's over exercising or restricting food or just being really, really hyper critical
of certain parts of our bodies. When we see a large portion, at least in our western culture,
of people doing that, it feels normal. I like to go damper every week, weekends,
to go back to reality, you know? Yeah. Because if I have an 11-year-old daughter, I want to
expose her what reality is because this is kind of both. There is an island. It's not
kind of all the reality you know. I struggled greatly with him sort of
growing up as a kid and it was never something that I actually even realized
or he could even even cause. I started talking about some zombie apocalypse and
I've not seen a zombie is what I'm saying you understand what I'm saying like
they're talking about the zombie apocalypse you're talking about how he's
gonna escape and get away and it's a cult and it's like he's guys gone about
prepubescent vibes with females and it was good to see anything we get to I've

Typically in the eating disorder programs,
it tends to be mostly female.
There's a certain type of stigma for men
with eating disorders.
Age-wise, teenagers are struggling immensely.
Our programs are always full.

And sometimes it's really well-intentioned parents
that have this idea of what it means to be healthy.
