You
OTC, give it to me, give me OTC
It's all on me, give me OTC
Give it to me, it's like this guarantee
I
Thank you for watching!
I'm not sure why.
You're a sucker major, Takuya Encrunch.
Next, the excitement.
Hey
I'll see you later
I'll see you later
I'll see you in Osaka
We're starting to properly shape up here in the APL as we get a little bit of a flavour
of what stage 2 is going to look like with the Osaka Major coming up in November. Everybody
in APAC is thinking the same thing and it's who is going to make it to the first major
we've ever had in the APAC region, Pengu. We've actually had quite a few play days
of Asia now. As we back into the third one, it means we're almost halfway through
The group stage, which means that after just a couple of more days, we're actually gonna
take a fire up half the teams in this league.
Half of them?
Really?
Just like that?
I mean, honestly, it has to happen, right?
We gotta figure out who's gonna be the top box in the region.
And after seeing my first video, is there working with you?
I'm thinking I have my favorites, okay?
But it's still early, things can change.
Yeah.
It is very early days.
We've already seen a couple of surprising results coming to me yesterday.
A-star getting slapped by Sharpa.
I kind of slated that to be arguably maybe the best game of the group stage.
Could have been the closest match.
That's meant to be the battle for second place.
Of course, Aji gets a second slot now.
There's a lot on the line for these teams.
We've also casted a little bit of regions outside of APAC.
You and I haven't actually touched NAL or SAL,
but I know the Aussies shaking does have.
And NAL is proven to be pretty exciting.
It's crazy to look at the lineup that is on an outlast.
But yes, your eyes do not deceive me.
That is Tyrant from the old M&M, Iconic from the old Astralis,
and Joystick from Empire on the same bloody team
and Iconic who we had the pleasure of hanging out with
at the Esports World Cup has come back into form.
Batman is back.
He's shown that bat signal
and he's really making his mark back on the NAL.
They've never left.
And here are the standings for the NAL.
Only one thing to suppose you can see
are by the standings,
but they had a bit of everything, right?
I mean, I guess the only thing they were missing was actually an OT, but that is 7-0, the 7-2-7-3, the 7-5, it was all over the place.
And frankly, I am happy I'm not working at NAL because I was watching a bit of Fed's post stream, watching some of the analyst's.
Dude, there are mint Fed hands on their forward spin, and oh my god, how did this team fumble this round?
A lot of objects happened last night.
Yeah, well, it's crazy to see M80 and BZ both losing their opening games.
And it's possible across the world down in Asia, of course, we had our fair share of upsets hoping for a few more.
But one thing stays the same, we can week out year in year out in this region.
It's that Wayvo just tends to be the number one team.
However, thanks to their performance at Esports World Cup, we get those two slots to this region now,
which means that it's all eyes on the second place team.
And for a very long time in this region, that has been Daystar.
They went to the Six of Motation, they went to Salt Lake City, they won their first events as well, they've been there plenty prior to that.
What's going on with them at the moment? I'm really not sure. It's hard to have confidence on their only one, you know, seven rounds in their first two games.
Exactly. So I feel like today and just like the, you know, upcoming matches, it's going to be about redemption for these guys in Baselab,
because in terms of confidence, they're going to be in the basement. Losing a 0-7 fashion to Sharper on bank should never happen.
So we got to see a swift turn on because they should by all means still be in that conversation
But if they have one more bad matchup, it might not make it that far
Yeah, that's a very scary prospect for teams that shouldn't theory be gunning for a spot in Osaka
Let alone just the playoffs which is step one for most of these teams
Of course top four in the region will make it to the double elim playoffs play after the seven
Matches in the group stage
I'm going to be excited for as there are a lot of implications for the standings on that one, but let's crack into Dolphin eSports. They haven't made a splash just yet. Pun intended, Pengu. They were HL Tory for the most of this year. They actually qualified into APL by playing in the Challenger series at the start of this year.
of this year they actually qualified into APL by playing in the Challenger series
at the Stargaz here under the name Dolphin then they became Hellchill Tari and
sadly the story for this team is not a happy one it's the fact that these
guys have yet to win a single match in the APL since joining at the Stargaz
here. So far in the second stage there are three seven lost to Fury they
had a one seven lost to Wabo just yesterday we're still looking for
them to just get progressively a little bit better and eventually get a
win maybe at the end of the stage against one of the weaker opponents and
you know we need to see these guys get into it because I'm thinking to myself
how long can they keep going without just making significant roster changes
without it maybe just like outright leaving the T1 competition because how
long can you play for without getting a victory like this is such an unheard of
thing across the entire ecosystem of number six each. For sure, for sure, I mean
of course like I said they qualified to play in the ABL because of their
performance in the Challenger series but that was all the way back in March, April, very long time ago and
you have one good run for a couple of weeks maybe there's not as much
competition in tier two at the time you qualify for the APL you're there for a year that's our format
if anything it was a gift to other teams in the region up and coming to your two teams that we had two of our
APL rosters to Span, Sol's Heart and Psychic Company left which meant that we had to essentially qualify
teams from bootcamp, which is
the official tier two part of
the Challenger circuit for the
Asia region. And yeah, if
Dolphin had to go and
re-qualify stage after stage,
arguably they wouldn't have
made it, right? And today is
actually going to be a little
bit of a temperature
tester for that thing, because
we get to see Dolphin play
against one of those teams
that has just been thrust
into APL up from tier two.
It's left overs and a very
exciting moment for them
because they finally have their
first win in tier one after
tier one after beating 999 the other recently promoted tier two team just last night. Yeah,
I've been to one of very big fashion honestly these guys have good discipline with patience,
good chemistry in the server. I feel like there are a lot of reasons as to why we should be excited
for left overs as a roster and we can talk about some of the individual players in the
second or third because I know you're excited about one guy in particular they did have a
three seven lost a day start they came out swinging but it's simply the victory of their
Oh, like you said, it gets 999, just yesterday.
Yeah, very good, it was a 999.
Especially after that moment, so we really started to build.
And yeah, one thing I really love seeing in this team
was the smack talk.
Yannis, who very energetic in the cameras,
was a big smack talker yesterday.
And I have a feeling we're going to see a little bit more
of that today as well.
Of course, we've got Yannis, who's a prominent member
of the R6PH community.
He also is a sub for Elevate in pretty recent stages.
Zdux and Jiri rode from India and actually played in tier 1 before two years ago with various South Asian rosters
But it's been a long time between drinks for them
And then we've got the up-and-comers, Edward and
KLZ, Peggy, a lot of hype behind this guy right here
Yeah, and he really proved that in the very, so I was actually very first day, very first day that we passed the meetings together
Yesterday in the second playday, he absolutely popped off as a digital player
And it's not just that he plays well and he's doing his own thing on an island, it's that the entire teams understand that when this guy's having a great game, we're going to build around him.
We're going to help him be even better than he is as an individual.
For sure. For sure.
Let's see where we'll be playing this best of one.
We've actually had four different maps played between the two games of each of these two teams so far.
It's going to be either Labs or Chalet.
Labs would be a fifth of the map to be played.
play, but no, it's, uh,
map goers who get the final decide and
it's a goalie.
Now Havenlabs, which, yeah, we did see them play yesterday
against 999. They looked very good on this map.
If I'm Dolphin, I'm a little bit scared.
I mean, they played this map three times in stage one.
They lost it every single time.
They only won four rounds across those three games
on Now Havenlabs.
Such a hard thing for Dolphin right now.
What map are they gonna be going to?
Because when you are on a complete Lucy streak,
You're not gonna feel like one map until you're gonna speak small to you than others night
Even like I always say it's an Oregon vibe right now where everyone can play it's slapped up in the middle
Which should go well in theory or a galaxy dolphin come on swinging they gotta get around early not start
I have zero four or zero five country
That's the real focus here for often is
Take the fight early because we've seen this before leftovers seem to ramp up over the course of the match
It was something I noticed as well when I was casting the tier 2 final when they played against 999
We saw that yesterday as well at the start of the game
It looked like 999 had a shot but before too long leftovers ran away with it
I can tell that they are a momentum based team. You can tell by the energy that
The Yanis brings to the server, you know as soon as they're winning he starts to talk a bit of smack
You see his reactions in the facecams and
Yeah, over time if KLZ starts to go on a tear like he did yesterday
anything's possible. I think of the top of my head it was 15 kills and 5 deaths that he had.
It was insane.
Will they target any of his operators like the Sofia? They will not.
Deimos and Salasnikov, I think these are excellent operator bands chosen by Dolphin
because they are not the strongest gunfight teams so to speak
and these will just make your life very miserable.
On the other side, Lithos will do the same thing as yesterday.
They're going to band it with the bandit and the Kai to speed up the very first step of the round
to ensure that they can get in the building and can start building towards that bombsite execute
Yeah, you do mention this oath that Kelsie was really good on that Zephyr yesterday
So I'm a little bit scared to see what he can do on it
And he is starting on the attacking side as well. He's actually going with the recruit this striker for now. Yeah
This is on the zone
Particularly I'm worried about the zone for the top four defenses, right the basement less so but that's said
I mean, I I really just want to play more so fear like I want to get into the ranked stacks brings off because she's just so good these days
As I say that family does swap on these days
You can run the tin can openers for hard breaching particularly hatches
You've got three explosions of the lifeline and a lot of the time people are thinking about the three big rooms
But people forget that's just the same as having three breaching charges except it's safe
Right like she is just as good as any verb operator that comes with reaching charges
But she also has hard reaches as well, and she still has the concussions
Yeah, so exactly. Yeah, so much potentials. She's really become a utile powerhouse once again
He's been a very welcome addition sometimes an operator will get buffed in and maybe
Unnecessary way by people's mind and then they go out but we don't need this operator to be in the meta
I think four and kind of struck people that way because you can die to the gadgets not as enjoyable
Maybe to play against but for Sophia was a fan favorite for a very long time
Completely with another met said the gun got nerve the gadget didn't really see much person's rate
So they're lost her with stand many years ago, and then now she's back
Now leaving there was only one time in recent years as she was brought frequently
That was during the LMG meta because she has an LMG is so you'd bring her
And ever since the LMG nerve that happened. What is that now two two and a half years ago?
We haven't seen yourself
It might have been longer than that.
No, no, no, it was after Miteshun and Pro Play.
So it was at the 1, maybe.
Long time ago perhaps.
KLZ was probably in primary school.
Does he know that she has an MG?
It's AR or nothing, baby.
I genuinely would love to know when, at what age, KLZ started playing this game, because
as we mentioned, he turned 18 a day before the qualifiers for the Challenger Circuit,
So he's only 18 now.
And his game's been out.
He's a little bit of a mistake early on from Leftovers.
Uncharacteristic of them.
As Edward and Jittery both get caught off guard.
This run is working out pretty well for Dolphin.
It is the best start it had all of the stage long,
probably.
5v3, they fall back towards the bomb site.
It's not particularly about the Tiger Starekis,
but they're playing in strong player positions.
And Leftovers, they are left just kind of doing a bit of everything, watching the flanks, watching the staircase,
not having the drone information because they have almost nothing left alive.
Finally, doggie people just come out, so if he's done as well, there's no players on the staircase,
they have no idea he's supported in the hallway, in fact, on his lonesome.
But, as you say that, Yannis takes control of that same hallway, so Leftovers have got a lot of map control now.
Kailze can prepare to actually go for a hot-drop here with Yanna, so because there's a fear explodes instantly
It allows for this aggressive play from Yanna, so he will take quite a lot of damage and the second the door
Get destroyed straight away as well. Yanna still runs into that mirror immediately. No good counter to that
I do hear a mirror get popped. I'm not sure which one that is. Time is up the effence essence though
Kailze with that defusing in hand has to look to try and get it down and Zedux finds the opening kill. A plan
Potential needs to come through big here, but for the retake upstairs Dolphin, look to lock it in, it's just Kailzey left and the nitro from Killers will take him on down. Dolphin, find the first round.
And they did what he said, fight early and fight convincingly. They were fully committed, getting not just one, but two picks.
They leave a player on the cargo stairs to be like the flying watcher right leaving one gap closed for the bomb side
They had barricaded off that solo headstrap in warehouse above the window and door was at a barricade
That means there's no way into the side that's gonna go unnoticed
I get a sound cue or you get a gun fights. They had the mirror window. They want my disc. No mistakes
They lock it in a lot of confidence the sack stock of often needs here in the gimmick of list overs
That's the base on BumSight. We gotta go upstairs now and I think this is gonna be the real challenge
because this comes down to having the right operators in the right locations to stop the pushes.
And also more notably, because you have the ability to go downstairs with the Sophia, the three big booms as we say,
you gotta also worry about what's beneath the BumSight.
So now Dolphin will test it and spreading out for a lot of map control,
rather than playing on a strong BumSight with just that one staircase of access.
There is a lot to worry about on this bombsite these days
If anything, I wonder whether it's worth it for a lot of teams
Leave the solid snake in ban out the
Deimos and because at the moment in the current meta like they are the two primary
Operators if you want to try and wreak havoc from below upwards onto a bomb site
It's typically Deimos and and so if they do that in the car, but you can't do it with bark
But he's a lot more vulnerable and a lot less forcing compared to those ops
Interestingly though, it is actually Janus who is on the Zope this time around.
Yesterday we saw KLZ playing it from below to great effect.
Another opening kill very quickly.
Actually, it's going to be Slytherin C4 taking care of Edward.
So again, a strong start from Dolphin.
This is a really good start, um, the best start.
Keep in mind that Dolphin, the most rounds they have ever won in a tier 1 match is 3.
In a single best of 1, the most they have ever won is 3.
Which is crazy.
Like, that's two stages of best of 1s, of course, kickoffs was only best of 3s.
They won a map that, that no series.
And even then, the map that they won, they only won at 8-7.
like, literally the closest possible margin you could have.
Like, they have not had close games.
There's a 3D group that's come out from Yanis
to try and take down the player on that mirror
when it doesn't find it, but opening up the angle
does allow him to pop the mirror itself.
The Sun Strike is a lot more exposed now.
We are connected to control, though, with a shotgun flare.
Ready for the fight.
It's going to be Siss on the smoke as well.
We'll walk it into connector.
Look at...
But it won't check the left-hand side,
They just push up the side. Oh well, this is a very different looking left over as to what we saw yesterday
Dolphin to their credit have gotten the numbers advantage two rounds in a row
They're looking to convert it. They did so quite well in the first round like you said they played off their advantage
See that so guys bring one back on the Sun strike. It was fairly exposed already because of that open mirror window
Has to vault does get the sound coverage though, and I don't think tenor would have heard either
The big thing here is just don't over peek here for Dolphin. They were up 5v3 and now a Tenno on the floor.
Chathamnit, low HP. They are not winning this round at the moment.
Jirri actually did seize this for just a brief moment, but I think doesn't quite respect this angle where Jirri is coming from.
Quite enough. Tenno is going to be careful or he's going to die to the ex Kairos. Big mistake from Dolphin.
This was meant to be their round, but Pengu, it's all gone down the dunny.
Chathamnit in a 1v2. Good luck, but I don't think this one is going to land.
to land. It's down center to C4 that could win him the rubber at a time of being very low 15 seconds.
He would have robbed the Aqua Stairs though looking for a fight instead but there's no
case here for leftovers. They finally pick it up and get back into the bomb site.
It holds perfect. Jittery has the advantage for many reasons.
Channelman still has that Nitro so he doesn't know where the plant is going down. Nitro
goes out and it's pretty deep but not quite deep enough and Yanus will find the final kill
Dolphin. That is a tough pill to swallow. They really should have won that round.
5 vs 3 but left over is still in the way and is unfortunately the most dolphin way to lose
a round the same thing back when they were Higel Tori they would be in a strong position and then
just individual blunders right I mean Tenno dying to the exkairos of the Hibana trying to
prone next to them being 20 HP having been injured just moments earlier not watching the
IT Beach store surrendering Catwalk control by reinforcing the wall way too early all these
small moments leads to just a death here and a death there playing two players in
literary parks and nobody wants an IT don't walk in like he's died for free big
round win to a big round victory there for leftovers but not around that any
business actually winning that's the thing like all that matters in a
best of one is get to seven rounds doesn't matter if you win a bunch of
messy 3v5s or what you know all that matters is the result at the end
of it and that's something that you got a credit left over just for and I think you win a round
like that and you just kind of laugh you're like oh my god how bad do these guys have to be to lose
that round it's funny because Dolphin did play well at the start of the round but then just mistake
after mistake giving gaps overpeaking not realizing I don't know whether it's comms or just
general game awareness but like not realizing that IT was taken just some mistakes for Dolphin
that they're gonna have to fix up.
Loading man!
I'm so like the IT players have super tiny Hibana vault hole in the far left hand side if you're inside looking out.
You can easily cover that with a guy just playing in IT behind the box and swinging off the contact or swinging off the sound cue etc.
So there really were many things that Dolphin could have done to punish their opponent and maybe this is one of the weaknesses.
when they're in a very winnable position right early c4 early fight oh god play safe don't take a risk
and it's like you're kind of giving your opponent a much easier way back into the round if you don't
take any risk you don't apply any sort of pressure by trying to avoid all the gunfights
so you gotta start fighting you gotta keep fighting especially in a bomb set that doesn't
tend to favor the defenders very heavily we're seeing a blitz now instead to med what though
there should be a fast push to the desired strength the bomb side here from the window
a cargo hallway. I noticed waiting for the intel. It got the case on the blitz looked
into jump on him.
A lot of drone work set up the air jabs from Yanis and then you can go to them and execute
using the grin. Careful there. And a little bit too overextended. Nice kill from Yanis.
I don't mind the aggression there from Yanis. I think for a second I thought he was
going to win it. Uh oh, this is not a good look though.
As the support from KOZ will guarantee not just one but two kills as Edward is into the bomb site and looking for that plant
Killers and Sunstrike both of whom have C4s
One will actually get a kill Sunstrike with the Reaper takes down KOZ
But the plant goes down regardless and now this retake seems die impossible the nitro cells neither of which find anything
Janus is locking in this game three kills so far Sunstrike
Back into the bomb site Zdox is there with the bailiff. It's a great execute there from leftovers and Dolphin
Unfortunately after what seemed to be a good start and letting it slip away
We also got an answer to yesterday's question. Do the new jammers actually stopped the bitch music gadget?
We were like I don't think so, but I don't know for certain now
We know because the blitz is in the new jammer when the flashbang came through
Yeah, there's exactly on the door in towards the bomb site
damn you threw a thorn trap basically on top of it so well there goes my blue
bunker hold on argon yeah yeah exactly right so so the reason why there's some
confusion for people wondering how would they not know that is that mute got
significantly changed very recently how there's two kinds of signals now in
situation it's like an internal device the second they're having the
electronic, yeah, whether something has power or whether something is like sending
a remote signal, like a radio signal. So like A summer charge versus thermal charge, right?
One is like your thermal wall itself activates, the thermal charge you put it down, you gotta
click the little clicky clicky guy and then it will activate with the signal. So whenever there
is a signal from outside the device, it'll get stopped by the jammer. If it's an internal
device we do not stop them each other yeah so I actually wasn't sure how that
would work with bits because you probably would click a button on with that
being said it's a hot wired thing right it's not like that I guess you think of
it like the difference in like an EMP or like a radio scrambler yeah yeah yeah
because like radio scramblers prevent the long-range signals from being sent
that's what I'm each other gets very different to like an EMP from like a
time to baby which deactivates electronics not necessarily the signal
It's been a buff and a nerf in different ways for Mute, funnily enough, but it's more realistic
and more intuitive I guess, but also more confusing, particularly if you did play when
the Mute Jammer essentially functioned like an EMP.
Also because Mute for a long time was seen as one of the Walden Eye operators because
it stops heart-beaching, but in a much weaker way because it doesn't destroy the
I got you to just observe from it being activated and now he is but only to
throw my nibana. He doesn't stop ace doesn't stop the can opener and there's
nothing worse than putting a new gem on a wall being like I did a great job to
have yourself in the back right? They put a can opener, it's like I don't mind my job
here was useless I was not needed for this. Yeah, that's what makes you want to like
do we need an EMP operator on defense like we've got. I had the thought
just now actually yeah yeah to work against your blitz to deactivate certain
gattie tree I mean bulletproof camera MPs technically work in some areas but
kind of triggered a certain the camera sometimes yeah like you can't even pay a
thermo charge right for example with yeah before he gets the activity I
gotta be quite quick on the trigger but possible if you have two separate
to put the MP cameras you can actually juggle between them and keep the film up and breaching yeah
because I don't think we've ever seen a pro play but it has happened in there you know some fun casual
games that I've seen I've seen that like against flores drones before yeah flores first came out
he was a machine especially in the near the youtube sync better yeah I feel like we could talk all
day about off-reddit content.
We need to have a podcast or something, thank you.
A lot of cool interactions, I gotta say.
Also, have you noticed that on Night Haven laps this box that he's looking at, it has
like texture on the top now.
It's not like a flat, glossy surface.
Whenever we're watching this top-down perspective, it throws me off.
So I feel like it didn't always have this, but I could just keep riding the car.
Enemy involved!
I don't give a damn.
It seems like there's an execute.
It's been two minutes of preparing, and then finally the incision is made by
is made by left-overs. On the back of some smokes, Edward goes in and looks for the plant.
It's free with the Monsi. It does seem to be free. I mean, the Grimus bees are just
preventing any kind of detection up close. Tenno eventually does throw out a C4. It
kills Edward, but not before the plant goes down. So Dolphin are probably kicking themselves
thinking, hey, if we had tossed that out earlier, we had three C4s up, we could have
denied this plant and pretty much won the round. Like, if Edward doesn't confirm
that plant, I don't think that left-overs have a second shot. But now in the
post the attack is sincerely in the advantage especially if a kill comes up
here from Z docks and a second one triples for the round just playing from
this single little breach making a 4k it was a little bit silly now he's gonna
push for the ace it's this trying to look for the retake and he will take
Z docks tonight he ace look for a second kill it doesn't matter if he
kills jittery here because well even if he does the round is over the bomb
will be defused and see a big round from Z-Ducks on the breach in Dolphin
Esports a bit of a hey hello anybody home yeah definitely a lack of reaction
like you said 3c4 is toothed in a very close proximity and it's his way to lead
up a reaction maybe the thought that hey they're smoking and grooming but it's
a bait and I should go in for a plan but what guys they are is a very big
middle there thumping in breaching using both the smoke and the grim
bees you gotta have at least once you fall go out for safety check so a little bit
Blunder one could say. Tag time right now from Dolphin Esports gonna talk it through and be like
guys what bombs do we go to, what's gonna be the playstyle, what choice do we have here.
I still liked it when they were fighting early on the roam clears, but notice how lift doors
have been attacked in the last two rounds in a row. Direct attacks. Like two rounds ago they had
one player IT breach that got a kill to 10-0 and then the blitz jumping cargo window
which took the bomb site. They don't take any roam presence whatsoever. In that rather
that we just witnessed it's a fork in the external breach with three people being outside
and Monty jumping in from Gustav round over. They're not allowing Dolphin a fight early,
they're just saying we want the bomb site and with that we'll take the round.
Yeah that's what happens when you spend two minutes preparing everything as long as you're
not stalling out as long as that two minutes is actually getting the adequate information
to know exactly what you do and don't need pressure. I gotta say like I'm impressed by
left overs obviously like they are still a very young team they're still
developing they're still getting their experience in tier one but I know that
you think but I feel like they play a good style of siege I feel like they play
a tier one style of siege you know sometimes you see tier two teams and
they win games because people run around like headless chickens and maybe
they have good frags but they're not playing smart or maybe they have a
really one-dimensional play style when they're really good when they all
all shape up with a shield rush or something like that, or maybe they're really good at
roam clearing but they're not good at xc. I feel like left owners actually have quite
a few different tools in their tool bells. They've shown a few of them, of course. You
know, they are yet to be tested outside of that first game in Daystar, but convincing
one of the 999, looking really solid here over left overs, I feel like over the course
of the stage, if they can build up and then their final games or against, oh,
If they keep it up, I feel like they've got a really good shot against Fury, and maybe on their best day and Elevates' worst day, they could make a really competitive game out of that as well.
Now with John the Acre and the Swell, it must be so much more exciting that maybe an upset team may be for this stage, and it's taking a couple different names.
And I feel like like he said yeah, there was a very different ways of finding victories in a round
And that's why I was so surprised in the very first and second round of this matchup at how
Holy you are playing compared to what we saw yesterday, but then they switch it up. We're like guys
This is not good enough. Let's stop switching up to a hundred ten percent. Yanis there
He was leaning against nine nine nine. No, at least you guys would be both invited
What if this was themselves they couldn't do it that would have been a huge upset
I was thinking that after the first round and the first half of the second round
I was like look left those you guys talk a lot of smack about golfin yesterday
when you were playing 9-9-9
You gotta turn off the view
If you lose to the view, there'll be a lot of egg on your face
But no, well, I mean they've really locked in his last couple of rounds here ever since the last time
there was 3v5, they seemed to be a lot more confident and while there isn't initial trade after Killers goes down
Janus is seemingly upset about some kind of alleged bug, but
I think it doesn't matter for this at the moment and Z dox has found a pick. He's having a phenomenal day, by the way
KLZ is over shouted a little bit by Z dox. He's really hit 10 kills
She dolphin you're falling apart one by one near the bomb site, but it gets a bit better some strict
It's one kill. It's gonna gets injured in the tree. Oh, and it gets a lot worse
Yeah, she just walks in if Marco holy and takes her names gets the final two kills in the round
Yeah, huge one round left in the half now and
Dolphins and what would it be like for these guys? I mean obviously they've met a few roster changes
Nongju was actually on the core five roster coming into this stage
And he's been subbed out every single match so far for tenno or killers
And we just got word from the admins today that he's officially been benched
often have played kickoff stage one and it failed to win a single match and now in stage
two the best chance they would have in theory would be against Leftovers Fury in 999 and
if they can't make this competitive against Leftovers then really it's going to come down
to how they can compete or if they can compete at all against Fury in 999 now they've got
So they've already lost a fury, I forgot about that. They've lost a fury in their first game.
And then 999 is their final match of the stage, so it could be painful that it comes down to the very final playday of the group stage in APL Asia Stage 2, and Dolphin are yet to find a win real year in Tier 1, and it's the question of can they find their first win, or will they be maybe their first team?
Oh, I'd have to go back possibly. Yeah, I think the first team ever to not get a single win all the year until one
I just don't think that's ever happened
This outlast was I think in that conversation till last night when they had a victory, right?
They were also winless as far as I understand if I nail
I don't know what actually but well, I've seen teams it's happened for one stage
Like yeah, but I've never seen it happen for a whole year in a three stages or two three stages
It's about to get lucky once, let's just say, right?
It's about to get...
Your opponent has like a worst day of the year and you have a good day
and they get a victory.
Yeah.
Lots of happen, just get it.
And so... Oh, I love this.
That even has to answer his phone, otherwise it'll be destroyed and you won't be able to...
transfer between shells.
Ooh, nice amount of damage there onto Z-Docs.
That's a high priority player to take down if you're able to do it.
Oh, Shadamins!
Sit down, Yanis.
That's a quick flick good reaction time and a very lucky bit of hip fire another 5v3 penguin
We've been here before for dolphin and as we find ourselves in the last round of the half
They'd sorely need to close this one out
The last time they surrender too much map control for free didn't take any fights after getting into a strong position
So now they gotta do a bit of fighting Kato is sticking around to TP away
Local punish door 2v1 swing from below and above there from leftovers to cure the first kill
That could be a snowball. Yannis, Christian, Marks, and Chad saying, why didn't he TP away, bro?
Well, he wanted more. He was feeling it. He had two kills to his name already.
Even from the grave, Yannis is still talking. I think you're right though.
He's always in there.
Absolutely should have TPed away. Like, that's why you're picking the Scopus.
Like, why did you answer the phone if not to give the aburred TP away?
And if you don't have anything from the 5v3 they lost in round two,
It's maybe hold your advantage instead of doing this
This is a very ballsy flank the mute player
If he finds one he just needs to like sit back and wait like don't make too many moves
There are no drones though
So I guess there is as a matter of fact no flank watching here from leftovers and if cyst has this information as well
That's why he's so confident because normally this would be a bad play
But if there isn't that been the ability to be seen very safely all of a sudden that's 25 seconds left
He's locking down this
You know going down this feels like an unwinnable round now for leftovers
This just has to make sure in October extended money does get traded there by generally but with KLZ falling
It all comes down the jury now
1v3 and it looks like Dolphin may be able to finally get a second round on the board indeed
They do leftovers can't quite lock out the dominant half
They were looking for but a 4-2 split is a very good one
Nonetheless Dolphin find their second round as we move into the halftime vibe check
I think it is resilient to turn it into my heart to read the mask and know the pain.
I symbolize the vigilance we need to rise above it.
It makes the heart so free but we live in the flames.
So they bring them to me and influence the youngest.
So I'm gonna see the motion growing to the names.
Lady of it's studying Ibrahim Treyori.
When it takes the men change, nothing tears.
The day is sure me.
Straction gun range, money guns, the heavy doorway.
So rise to sustain this peace
Oh, well hard luck
If we had to fight, we had to die
That's why we ain't seen another Thomas and Carl
Who are you when you can change your fortunes of your people?
I'm tired too, I used to blame western forces on people
I'm tired too, I'm choosing pain
And let my hatred track and preach you
I'm asking, can I really flex?
Forget the poverty we've been through
Pop it, sell our section
Check the streets above, you know it's peaceful
And I'm still collecting my type of set my own piece and raise fruit
Thoughts are wandering away with me today
Fading into grace
The same is so crazy
Paints and pictures are pissing low and too dry
Second round on the board for the underdogs or the underdolphins as we should say
Leftovers still talking plenty s max still gunning like they love to do for two rounds on the
Attacking side is a pretty strong split here on night Haven labs my concern here for left over's Pengu is that
Even if at a certain level even if at the top level if this is phase clan versus fury up
Maybe not Haven lab skews the attack. I just don't think it does for Dolphin. I don't think they're gonna be out of hit for attacks
I'm with you on this. I do think that this is supposed to be defend their heaven
Again dolphin are not known for their executes necessarily. So I
Think their wing conditions are very similar on attack and defense
They have to find like two opening kills getting that five three three position and it's like stay stable
Getting a single up pig is not enough because you know, you lose one back from five you're back to even numbers
So this right here, Chatterman putting them into that 5v3 conversation position and then Dash shortly after.
But then Sist, danks again as a second player and makes it a 4 vs 2. Again, super duper winnable.
But it still becomes a 1v2 in the end. So you see, we often needed two meta advantage to lock in the rounds.
And that is a life form to get.
Yeah, I still didn't work for him.
And this is while Edward is going 0-4.
Which is like, not a jab to him, but we don't even have 5 players on the scoreboard on the side of leftovers.
So they're not at full capacity.
And K.O. said it isn't even popping all 5, but he's 6-5.
So, this is kinda the best case scenario, I guess.
See you guys in the video!
That is the first...
Yeah. Oh, sorry, I was I was confused. I was listening to our producer and I just
realized so we have the very first North in APL now if I'm not wrong it was
actually playable for NL this morning. I haven't seen any clips of it in
play. I was actually in casual just before we went live spamming North
every round. And my first round I picked Noor and I saw a blitz and I smacked him with that little gadget
and uh yeah, lanced him the hell off. So this is very exciting here for leftovers. They are
potentially expecting there to be a shield pick which there hasn't been so far. Both Dolphins
are nice to use to drift the Thatcher there to make sure that that Kai'i trick doesn't land.
Yeah it's a shame we don't have any shields here because yeah Noor is such a hyped up operator
specifically for the counter for shields and, yeah,
sadly we don't consider interacting this round,
but still there's a lot of value you can get
from the gadget, in other words.
You can take it easy for waternile,
but it does take you like five seconds to activate,
so if I pre-fire the Nord gadget on the external wall,
so trigger to get the timing right,
and it works also for plant denial,
almost like a throwable,
through charge, maximum operation.
It will shoot the Nord gadget onto any surface,
and the files are spewing out,
and obviously doing damage very quickly,
the guy going for a plant spot. The downside of Noir being a defender, so to speak, is that
with attack or repick being in the game, if you join the defenders, you see Noir, you
could just not pick the shield, which of course is going to make you weaker on the attack
and side, but you are rendering the Noir gadget lower in value. It's a bit of an
awkward back and forth there, but Edward will keep our eyes on that gadget counter.
He has 5, 20, he has a gadget in his hand using one of those charges, off-screen,
a second. Just stalling him here. I think that's what you're walking on in. Oh, I like
that. Yeah. Combining with the keeper barrier. That is going to burst into flames and surely
do a little bit of damage. And Edward gets the first kill with Noor that we see in pro
play. And it seems to be for Leftover's exactly what they needed. The round all but one now.
Tenno, the last one standing. Of course, Leftover's going to feed him a little bit.
I think they're just impatient at this point. Come on, Edward. Give us a little
bit more actually maybe don't maybe don't now after ten those baited for two
don't give him a chance to clutch it I had a quick flick back through the NA
games I was asleep during this one I hate to say I didn't I just live on Twitter
I didn't see any nor pics in the NA games I think it must have still not been
available another one after the patch so this is the very first time we're
seeing it
careful ten oh wow each through the fire takes a hell of a lot of damage and
is finished off by Zedux. Great start. Four left overs on their defensive side. Just two rounds away
from finishing this off. I did a little bit of testing last time I played Siege with
Noor and if you sprint through the gadget as a two-speed two armor you will take two ticks
of fire on a doorway for example right which does about I think it's 22 or 24 damage so
In a best-case scenario, you see a Nord gadget on the doorway, you sprint straight through it at the two-speed, you will take 22 or 24 bits of damage.
Also, you're sprinting, so you cannot have your gun ready for a gunfight, obviously.
If you're ADS walking ready for a gunfight through the fire, you probably take about 4 ticks of fire, that's more than half your HP at that point.
So, just a little small note here, it is quote-unquote very worth it to sprint through the fire to get past an angle.
Whereas for like, you know, the boy of fire that's pushing a much bigger surface, it'd be a bit trickier to navigate it.
What do you think so far? I mean, obviously we have only had a few weeks to play with it in rank.
We haven't really seen much of it at all in pro play while it's been quarantined.
Do you think Noa is going to be a good operator? Do you think it's going to gatekeep the shields?
I think the issue is, is Call of the Attack Reaper that's mentioned before.
Like, if you're like a really, let's say we're talking like phase fury, like the best teams in the world.
that is a grand final next year. If you see nor you just don't play the shields in your
Vendor here not useless but much lower in value and you can like play around the
operator. Also if you're really high level shield player once you do see the
nor in the server and you are playing the shield it's a matter of playing a bit
like a crash against Akali or Sophia. You just don't want to over commit and
get too close to the nor operator in an area where you cannot hold F and pull out the fire because that's how it works I
second boom mine nor shoot the shield it'll drill into the shield itself and you
got a whole depth to pull out the gadget or you'll keep burning and die very quickly
so it's about adjusting your shield playstyle against the operator more than
anything else I still think of this if you're in that you're a thorn your
echo a really strong shoot counter as nor is it a different way
I wanted to check as I'd heard conflicting things after the patch that
was deployed last night, Nor was actually out of quarantine, the NAL playday today.
But it wasn't played a single round, also wasn't banned a single time.
So I think that really goes to show that people, since the pre-release nerf that happened
to Nor with the changes to how it interacts with Hardreach, people are really not seeing
quite as much value.
So I'm glad that we're seeing it here, even if this is ending up being quite a one
side affair and we're not necessarily seeing massive value out of the Nor.
But Sunstrike will at least find one kill back.
though dolphin running no shields I don't know whether that's because of the
Norpits or whether they just don't want to run shields
good question we heard dolphin not like a big shield team in the story from my
memories so that could just be the case here so Edward can use it for a bit of
hand denial inch denial not for this time though this is walks in for free
takes down jenice even KLSC look for more
LZ is hungry for it but gets covered by Sunstrike as this looks through that vert
now it's just up to Jittery and Edward now as they sit on the ground floor I
mean there's a decent amount of time left Dolphin have good info on Edward's
position a bit of vert pressure as well they might actually have to go for a
plant sooner or later I have to see I mean ideally you go for a plant
Oh, we're in that pit.
Timing is bad for it, I guess the gadget up it dies.
Not worth it.
I don't mind that placement of the gadget, it denies some of the mobility there in the
bomb site if I'm not enough.
Flashbang doesn't work, nice idea but it doesn't land.
Chittery in the 1v3, killers will take him down third round on the board for Dolphin.
Big moment for them, I mean they could be about to break their record.
Pengu, they've never won more than three rounds in a best of one.
They could be on the verge of turning a new leaf.
They're right there.
Not at the finish line, but crossing into new territory, as you mentioned.
Just one more round to go now.
Every step you made.
Maybe you see much of our team action this round.
It's like 1v1 gunfight, 1v1 gunfight, a lot of back and forth here.
And then no real plant denial, because it was kind of the wrong spot with the North Gadget.
gadget, you gotta have a line of sight, you can bounce the gadget off the wall, you gotta make
contact and that's that. Instead it will go on to the clash actually and left-overs this entire
team is really changing the approach now into a much more bunker down turtle strap maybe,
to shanggye, the warden, the clash, the idler, thorn. This feels like the one I give them
that won't kill very quickly, played by the staircases, played by the site and say good
luck with fun and try and go for execute. So now for dolphin if they read correctly into this
They got to get vertical operator right now. They got the round lock in that's very great
I got that sure to open the walls not necessary
But it does deal with like the thorn traps and seafold the plastic really so it'll help you plant later on
Hot bridge to go up and then they got the bomb side to execute operators
And the reason why those are very important the unit glass is if you're expecting your opponent to not have much of a roaming presence
Instead of playing your jackal your table should go could be to hunt down those players
you've placed things that are much stronger for the bombsite. So I actually will say this,
I think Orphans is quite a good reason to this round, with the right operators to go for around victory.
But as you say, leftovers change their strat too, and they do have a lot of good
operators to counter this type of an execute, so it depends on the execution itself,
it depends on how you often play it. We saw leftovers go for a really good bombsite
play and execute onto the basement earlier in this game, but that was kind of on
dog for not having adequate plantamal. The only one with a nitro cell here is Zeduck's,
but Kailze has three bridge months in pocket, and Edward is in position to prevent this push,
and immediately a spray through the smoke will claim the life of the Ying, but be careful that
Edward didn't realize there was a glass in play. Killers is going to confirm that. Meanwhile,
leftovers are falling apart and have to pick two pieces, and now that class
It barely covers any kind of an entrance into site for Jittery.
If the clash was still alive, maybe she could reposition and get into a spot to look for a plant,
but tucked away in assembling its killers.
Right on top of the plant position and Sun Strike delivers the killing blow on the Jittery.
It's Yanis now, the man who talks so much smack.
He's gonna have to 1v4.
Otherwise, Dolphin are about to change their fortunes for the first time in the APL.
minor celebration for Dolphin as they finally crossed that threshold of finding a fourth
round on the board. Something they have failed to do up until just now.
There's the confidence, the conviction, the bombsite are rushed right?
Thinkin' okay guys, we have the right tools to go for plant denial.
We see the Shunget is off the bombsite. We don't see any of the Razor Thorn traps
on the bridge with the EMP scanner. They lost around different leftovers with two of those
racer booms in pocket that could have been plant denial. But even if they tried,
now Y7 actually impede that has now been target bent away, like the clash and left over is.
Not in the back footings around scoring, they still lead by one, five to four,
but they feel like it's slipping away. They're calling their own technical timeouts.
They're only leading by one round. I said I don't think that we're gonna see Dolphin
win four attacks, but with how the last two rounds have gone, I feel like I'm eating my words.
And as you said, Bangu, yesterday it was leftovers, Yanis, talking smack in the old chat.
While they were playing against 999, they said, don't worry guys, you'll be Dolphin.
Well, at the moment, leftovers are looking a little bit silly because they are on the verge
of losing to Dolphin. They've just been the first team ever to give them four rounds in a match,
and Dolphin don't want to stop there.
Hey, I'm going to correct this game.
They didn't give Dolphin four rounds. Dolphin, they have taken four
rounds of the run because they have been the play exactly like they've been
playmaking man they've been doing good in mind you they arguably I know this
doesn't work but they argue we should have won a fifth because that was that
or is it 4v2 they had early or whatever like on the top four decent
so I fell apart like there are moments where they probably should have won
around more than they did when they died to the Abinah Skyro breaching
whatnot when they give up IT control etc this right here is a much better
look. The wing conditions are clear, the communication is excellent, every individual operator gets
to use their gadget to high efficiency and it's how they're funking these victories.
And now Lefler is going to respect that. Okay, we're playing for early gunfights, we've
got to be ready for that. Okay, we're playing for bombsite executes, we've got to be ready
for plant denial. So they've got to get a more, quote unquote, like legitimate operators,
right? Have smoke by the bombsite, not a Roman Tashanga. If you're playing Thorn,
We closed the traps, we placed the traps, we'll just keep them in pocket.
They gotta play 110% capacity because if they make a small mistake from our leftovers,
Wolf and I are actually able to cap it to our lives and I think that's been catching them by surprise.
Yeah, very much so.
Look, I think there's a little inch of respect here from Leftovers, which was a bit absent earlier
because the team has banned that Thatcher, right?
Like it tells you a lot.
Thatcher is not a common ban these days.
often that should use it really well they played it every single round so far up until it was banned
and of course it is going to now force them to bring that Maverick to Canada Kaid instead but
the factor wasn't just used for that purpose it was also used to counter other utility you know
clash some flaws almost a chance there for Edward to get a pick but leftovers have a lot
more respect now and they should do so KLZ the star kid is shut down by Sunstrike who's
just hit double digits himself. Both Sunstrike and Zist have really stolen the
show. The only one on Leftovers outfragging them is Zedox today and he can't
carry the team on his own. Now having to be a playmaker on defense in a 4v5
into a Lash on Akato with a shotgun. Right now yes you're gonna try the
Jittery but this can very easily go from okay 4v5 not too bad but with
Desperate to a 35 oh snap this is now really really awful left over set up a fine line up
We gotta try and make it play somewhere or make it a 50 50, you know what it and even done by the possible
Game is so terrible. There's one body and that goes away. They will do that second player
So I'm strike it's treated back actually a piece of wanting to pass was a bop on the staircase
Yeah, I don't even want to barb wire. Yeah
Unlucky, bro
Res could come through here
Is the barbed wire will need to be destroyed otherwise he's gonna take more damage leaving it afterwards
ZDUX has to be the hero of the moment here for leftovers
Dolphin in the 5v2 a
Fumbled numbers advantages before but this time it feels like something has changed
It feels like Dolphin have finally got space to breathe
Zidux is just hoping to be pushed as the lion locks him in place.
Janus with the TCSG, one of the best weapons the defense has right now.
And it's a flawless round for Dolphin.
Five rounds apiece.
As Dolphin pushed left overs to their breaking point,
they could be on the verge of finding their first match point opportunity
they've had in Tier 1 of Siege.
What is happening?
A flawless round, opening peak.
pick they stabilise, they double push the guard, Aqua they get a second, they use the utility of the
floors to dislodge the player positions by the bomb site, like they're doing so many things
incredibly well that we have not seen from them and there is a bit of consistency, it's not like
oh my god, both of them play really well for like one round and it falls apart. No, they're really
showing up on the attacking side as well, a place that they've been struggling with so much
back with a hedgel torii and kickoff in stage one they would usually get a couple of defense
rounds victories but had no chance of the attack and they have played a lot of night
even mind you in this year something has changed perhaps kattoman sun strike on the roster
sharing that experience be like guys let's do these things it's changed these approaches
to speed those operators because they are much more meta oriented like when does golf
normally play that trip or something like that denial. When we do the Ying Glass and
go for a BumSat watch that normally isn't their play style, there's much more of a
clear and precise plan one in action instead of being like gilly-dallying and
people make mistakes and then it just kind of falls apart. Leftovers are gonna go
back to the same BumSat surprise name off, whereas you know how it was a one-off?
How we died that run is not gonna happen again. We can go straight back to
the same site but this time we can get a different result.
Well this is just such a big confidence boost for Dolphins regardless of what happens from
here on out.
This is a big moment for them.
I know we're hyping up a lot for a team that's just found 5-5, but this does mean something.
I mean, kickoff was an embarrassment.
After that they moved Hoxslus off the loss they bought in Zoshev.
After stage one they moved off Zoshev and brought in Zist and Nongju.
Nongju hasn't even played a single game and now he's been benched for Tenno who's
managed to stick around.
Yeah, it's it's great to see Dolphin finally finding a little bit of confidence. Zist as well the new kid on the roster
He seems to be performing well today when it matters
This is a massive chance here for Dolphin find a sixth round against leftovers
And really make them eat their own words surely leftovers will be a little bit humbled
If Dolphin now are able to keep pace with them especially after those comments from Janus yesterday
Maybe that pressure is getting to them.
Oh my god, Yenis goes down first.
The guy, oh, tops so much smack.
The guy who was spamming push marks earlier,
just against Dolph and E-Sports a couple rounds ago,
is now dead on that 5-5 scoreline,
put his team on the wrong side of the equation.
Got Apert, one and seven scoreline,
individually not showing up.
Galzett wants to make a play.
He feels that pressure to be the hero.
Yeah, I mean, Galzett has been the opening down
for his team, lost two rounds in a row.
Thankfully, he does finish off 10-0.
takes a lot of damage for it. Thankfully the Fenrir survives to continue juggling which of his
dreadmines are active. But yes something has really changed in the last couple of rounds.
Leftovers were up five rounds to two before Dolphin started bringing it back finding round
after round. On the back of that execute onto the basement things have looked so much better for
them. KLZ not able to deny this wall instead he's going to sit off to the side with some
Big risk for Leftover's to make. Dolphin, not all their eyes, cross all their teeth, they should be able to kill him, actually spot him with the Grim, and they find Xedux, that's the top fragger here for Leftover's.
Dolphin have numbers of damage, they're going for a plant, Jittery needs to get into position, he uses his last gas, but doesn't cover off the default plant position, takes the gunfight against Sistin, close range, wins it.
Sunstrike in the post plate has those E1Ds to try and lock him down.
Jittery's the last one, up and alive, four leftovers in the 1v2.
No utility here, but Dolphin are trying to make this harder, but none either for Jittery on the retake.
He has to do it himself with that SMG-11.
Shadamn is just waiting in con with that bailiff at hand sitting behind that deployable shield.
He can listen for the ticks.
The Sunstrike exposes himself with the Dreadmine and Jittery will capitalize.
Now it all comes down to Chatham and Pichirri can't afford to waste any more time
and now that he's gone running for the kill, there's no time to get on that defuse.
Jittery, it doesn't matter if you find all of them because the round has slipped away
and Dolphin has slipped through. It's their first match point opportunity on the APL.
It's so convincing once again. They get the first pick, they hit the bomb site, straight for a plant.
They waste no time. They are not allowing leftovers to go for an adaptation, to read the play that's about to arrive,
to understand how to get the right players in the right locations to go for a plant denial.
And this was actually a round where Dolphin made a tiny mistake, okay?
And it was missed by leftovers. When they went for that default plant spot behind the pillar, the leg of Thermite was sticking out.
You maybe would see it in the replay possibly from Jittery's position, but he actually could see the guy planting right here when he killed the floor's operator, but it was missed.
The chaos in the server, too many things happening, the comms are flowing, etc.
They were expecting Dolphin to play perfect, but that was a small mistake. They didn't have the counts, they didn't have any answer to the plant spot.
Now they go to her, Sherry.
They go back on the North, but there's not been any shield play, and we haven't seen Edward use this gadget to create the effect necessary.
There was one round where he did a bit of damage to an enemy attacker, but it's come down to opening fight more often or not.
Who gets that first pick?
And it's been Dolphin, and then there's been no answer from Leftovers.
I want to see them play a lot safer in the early stages of the round, or if they want to take fights, do it in a 2v1 or utilizing gadgets like the Ekrodron, a C4, or the Solar Scanner.
Because you don't want to take an even 50-50 right now, because Dolphin, they got that confidence.
They do. They do. Zedax has been quiet for the last two rounds. He hasn't gotten a single kill.
Yannis and KLZ have been the first victim for the team in the last three rounds as well.
KLZ wants to take an early fight, but as you say, if he dies early, the soulless
Util goes with him
Funnily enough we see Edward back on the North for the first time
Spotting Blackbeard on the other side so might actually get better value this time speaking of spotting Kailzee was
Undetected by that drone here and zists could be a free kill depends how good his audio is
Doesn't hear him, but meanwhile there's been a kill onto the north. Why is the North jumping out the building?
Why is Edward jumped outside? He's meant to be the support player for leftovers
Just as one player does something right for left of us, another makes a critical mistake.
Again, even if you heard the guy go and drone, it's not risk versus reward.
And it's not worth jumping out of all use of the pocket.
You've been struggling so much earlier.
C4 attempted there by Yanis to go outside the Maverick breach,
but not to be.
He doesn't find any damage, doesn't find the kill.
He'll come up instead.
IT under pressure.
And you see how Gen is holding an aggressive angle from the IT door outside the breach itself.
itself they want one more pick but honestly I think the leftovers is calm
down in a full position you got so is a plant and I'll echo for plenty now you
got a lot of intel to work with just work around the drone information and
don't stress too much about oh my god this guy here this guy there
you come to push there's a fight here all but the blackbeard gets counted
by the echo man a second kill now as KLC comes in to support this
This is exactly what leftovers needed to dig deep in this round and in the game.
Killers 1v4, it's not happening.
And while the Nor went down, the Yokai from Jittery was what helped leftovers counter
that Blackbeard regardless.
Nice to see they have a few different options in there.
Arsenal, as Killers is now left in a very tough spot.
Not likely to win this.
I'll take the building right now and look for the extra frag and zoom trap to call to
see what we can do for the game that will become overtime very shortly right now.
It will be a 6-6 call and I would say guaranteed 20 seconds left, 1v4, it doesn't look good
to make a play.
And the curious and starting signs actually you know T as well because there's been
an attacker's paradise.
Yeah, there has been 8 rounds of attack 1 with just 4 on the defensive side, very
much contrary to what I had expected killers will look for a couple of
exit frags but he gets traded back by the shotty from KLZ leftovers push us
into overtime and while this has been far closer than they had hoped there is a
chance that they can push this deep there is a chance that they can find a
redemption at the end of this battle. Going towards here though and then
coming out as a loser would be quite I mean in a one-way for Dolphin it's
big victory because like you do get on the board and you do find some success but
when you're pushing left or is this far you're gonna want to go all the way right
finish it get the victory mention how they had a single a map when the view
three earlier in the year that was an 8-7 so they have been this territory
before but this time it would be for an actual game victory whether it's the
map in the view three so a much bigger significance of course and they will
be dolphin on the attack and if there was some defense so they're not quite out of the
danger zone just yet for left overs because they have been struggling on this particular
side. I like the return here of Jitter and Ekko and Solis and KLC just getting the information
and they go back to tertiary as well. I guess they felt that much pressure that they have
to do it. KLC is not moving. He is standing still as Solis, middle of the bomb site.
he is he's back I was gonna say we're gonna reset and it rehearsed and better
call that quickly I'm gonna get approved I know it doesn't seem to be the case
maybe yeah consulting the strap hook perhaps I wonder if the echoes can be
as effective this time as it was last time I mean there's no shield in play
the dolphin this time around. This is getting spawnpeeked by Zedux. Maybe don't
ever commit to this Zedux. He does get out alive, thankfully.
Good old 6-6, let me go spawnpeek real quick. Either win or lose the round in the first 10 seconds.
Some players will like that. You know some people are like you know what I'm gonna spawnpeek because they're not gonna expect it.
Other people go I don't dare do it because what if I die? It's really
about like how much fear, how much of fear you have in the server.
Let me have a trick here from Dolphin. Nice and clean. Yeah, indeed. And I guess that
thermite will probably look the time. Reached the water for safety, should he? Yep. Okay.
Angle being held here by Tenno as well. Coverage. What do they do to find clear
Zed up so that's my question. On Rafters that's kind of the first position that you need to target here.
I mean what are the options, right? Grimpees, DMRs, grenades, flashbangs, I guess single
off flashbang would be enough in theory. Theory, but yeah. They're actually on the door. Almost
it. Killed there from Sunstrider. There are actually no DMRs on this lineup at all.
Innocently, good name, forces Yannis back, but he is still under the pump. He wants to
fighting wants to take this but no he is going to take more damage a little bit of HP done
onto Killers but no kill as of yet as Tenno and Killers are two high breaches continue
trying to battle with him on IT ZDUX has fallen back away from rafters playing inside command
itself and Yannis will find his pick that's what he needed that's what leftovers were
looking for try and break this curse that has plagued the defense for the last
What feels like this entire match, Big Lash out from Seagulls, misses his chance, when does
he decide to fall off? Not yet, no he'll take the fight again, Sunstrike has fallen and
that gives space for Yanas to come and support. Now it's the queue here for leftovers to
retreat with their advantage.
The Tigers are split, Shadow down stairs but the bombs slide 10 or upstairs with
the defuser right next to him, so they can't help each other, and I still go
big here.
smart move to just sit back and wait even though he is going to fall it buys enough time for ZDUX to
come in and refrag 15 kills for ZDUX it was Kale's turn yesterday it looks like the shoes on the
other foot this time around Yanis finds the final kill off the round and with that dolphin on the
back foot again leftovers pushing us to match point of their own and a very different approach
there in the server right the leftovers which is fighting, Hermes wing the bridge fighting
a catwalk rafters playing inside a commando with the keeper barriers and just keep swinging off the
contact and this is maybe where dolphin felt all that pressure that's been mounting upon the mess
this feels winnable they didn't shoot the keepers like they would shoot them and chatter them like
partially but if they shot a few more bullets into those keeper barriers they get destroyed
there's no playable spark from sea dogs and you can destroy the crossfire that's being
established up the floor you could always just say guys we see three defenders upstairs
The bombsite is pretty weak.
Because mind you, by opening up the IT breach from outside the building,
you now control the above area of the defile plan spot inside of stock.
Then you can go a tunnel, finish the round, jump in the bombsite window, maybe go for a plant.
That would be a possibility given that you saw three players above.
One of them was Sunnis, one of them was Asami,
and the C4 that was spent by Yenis was also gone.
So there wasn't really any proper plant to now, so to speak.
So, has abilities there for Dolphin?
Now they go in defense.
We'll see if they're able to finish the job here in 8-6
or if we will go in the final round.
10 seconds left.
Well, the hard thing is leftovers are now back
on the attack, so for Dolphin,
this puts extra pressure on their shoulders.
It's been a hot minute since they last won their defense.
Well they do go all the way down into the basement, that is where they won the two times they did on that defensive side.
They've still had an attack around me, and I think Chathamnit is on the run with the Scopus again.
I feel like he's kind of just backed out now, it's not worth the risk.
Unless he wins the battle on the... Momsy, surely? Oh no, Edward, he's gone!
Value indeed, but Chathamnit just has to get away with his life.
He is the scopus. He could take me away at a moment's notice. He's making me scared. Pengu. He's still loitering in positions where he is vulnerable
Billy has shifted here since OT the aggression the confidence forcing the gunfights and so, you know strategy
What's that? I'm gonna go for the individual swings and just play man advantage
Golfer can now deal with the dead previously on this one. So I'd like to get laid back on the staircase and play the layers
I say that but I see a couple of silhouettes sticking around. Perhaps they want one more kill.
Especially with that monster going down, it is one of the most important tools that leftovers have to look for and execute, and it's been dealt with.
The patients as well, they often are moving, but they just seem to be holding on.
Oh, there you go. This gets caught off guard by KLZ. Leftovers, show us once again that
if you're just patient enough, Dolphin, maybe induced to make a mistake to expose themselves.
The only Roman now is Sunstrike and he's barely roaming. He's just on the staircase looking
to try and shoot drones, maybe catch an unaware player. As I say that, he looks
to get aggresive. I don't think this is the right way for him. This gets me
nervous pangu go sideways very quickly inklet if there was like you say about
the Monty how do they find the way into the bombs and how do they get down
hysterics because drone they're dying there was no inter left oh I see this
channeling actually sure they're not essentially flanked Sunstrike go will
fall big mistake from Sunstrike the go for that rerun he was hunted down
And Chathammin decides not to go for the TP, not just yet as the drop into sight comes
through.
Chathammin is in a very cheeky rat spot on the bomb site.
Killers has lashed out on the Redux.
And now in the 3v3 the focus is on left overs, the Thinkabooce, the Adrenal Surge, flooding
their veins and that tells them that it is time to go, it is time to make a move.
KLZ finds his gap as well, Chathammin will respond for a double, three on the
round!
By Yanis into the 1v1 Yanis the weight of the round and the game on his shoulders, but he cannot deliver
killers
Refuses to let this game go down without pushing us to round 15
There's so much happening in server against individual battling back and forth trading number is finger boost going out
Sound queues being covered but at the end of the day I think killers swinging first getting that first bit to get the numbers
advantage which all the difference there in the round had they stayed passive in
the corners left doors had a way in but they shut the door right in their face
seven seven left doors would have to find some magic here on the defensive side
with Dolphin everything to be won everything to be lost on the attack
well they have been so good at going for direct attacks with the Thatcher but
ever since that was fanned away it'd be going for these wrong two shots in
step which there's been success but not the same liberal degree as the
washes that we saw previously just saw the comment that one of our team
posted in the in the chat which is very unfair can I just say that which chat
user who posted this very unfair to say coughing baby versus sneezing toddler
hey these guys they've had some pretty damn good moments look dolphin I have
been really impressed with them today because their stage is really strong
and I don't think this is the case of all dolphin are finally on the
of winning their first game because they're playing against an old T2 team.
I think leftovers play some really solid siege, but they have made some critical mistakes
at the cost of their ego.
I think that's what it's been paying for.
I think leftovers came into this, thinking that they were hot shit, and as soon as Dolphin
started fighting back, leftovers realized they really need to wake up.
I just know jannis talked all that swag and it would lose himself the dolphin that would
be there would be some poetry to it right
I kind of want to see that like just just to the the meme it's the potential meme it's
like someone can take an edit from all of yannis's shit talk yesterday and then cut
to like him dying first so many times in this game I saw that step by the way the
fastest kill in this game has been Chathamnit finding a pick with 21
seconds into the round that's not bad that was last round when he found that
early kill on to Edward finding that shield early was very important moment
there for Dolphin set themselves up alright I'm a little scared for Dolphin
whenever they find an early advantage they struggle to hold on to it they
always try and bite off a little bit more than they can chew.
I'd like the Monty here, that's like gonna tell you guys how to stabilize the rounds.
Monty locks in first, only risks down to a C4 vertically, but that's not gonna happen.
C-Docs, the only C4 left in pocket, it's an energy band roaming upstairs.
Second line of threat is gonna be the echo of jittery, but Monty can just kind of look at the ceiling
while having that extended shield to try and look for the drones himself.
Arthur on to go, often making good brokers. They got a breach, just with the third micro off, they got
games control, then damage. I guess that was a pre-placed C4, they went off, they're just on strike, taking a lot of damage, but does stay alive.
Oh, good catch here from Tenno. This is a big opportunity for Dolphin to find a free pick onto Xedox.
That's really the question for Leftovers. Can Xedox have an impact?
As Zist goes down, as I said before, Tenno has a drone and Xedox doesn't know about it.
This can now sit on that drone and call out for the rest of Dolphin
Try and look the corner and kill Z docks, but it seems like Dolphin are a little bit distracted at the moment
They're on the verge of planting
It's very hard to do that while Z docks is still at large
There is a player watching it, but finally enough Chathamnit loses his gunfight the Z docks
This could be the end of it now for Dolphin
They've had a valiant game and they pushed leftovers as hard as they can
But now the setup on this defensive side looks nigh uncrackable here for Dolphin as
Into the bombsite Sunstrike will go killers behind him looking for a chance to support
But Zeduck's up above kill the Monty and leave Tenno all alone outside the breach
Nothing to be done. Yannis takes the fight with the revolver and while leftovers
Who were forced to eat their words for a brief moment? They find the win regardless
It took overtime, but Yanis does not need to retract his statements.
He can hold his head high that he has won his second game here in the APL.
So close, yet so far, right? It brings you a 7-7 scoreline for Dolphin,
but in the very final moment there, it's a flawless loss in the rounder.
Everything goes the wrong way, well-coded left overs, I think really locking in at the end of it.
It was a tough one, right? C-Docs was popping off individually, Edward had it with shock of a game.
of a game so they cannot ambition it out there in the middle and this also means we left the worst
if they've not even matched twice actually quote unquote saving stats if you will i'm very curious
to see how they'll fare on other maps in the future yeah look i feel like the dolphin this
does feel like a bit of a breakthrough even though they had match points that they were unable to
convert it feels like a big moment for them that their story of day year has been turbulent it's
It's been up and down from the heights of coming through into the APL from the Challenger series to the lows of struggling to win any games
But you look to the matches that still come for Dolphin and let's be honest
It's gonna be a couple of tough weeks sharper elevate Waybo their next sorry sharper elevate
I guess must be Daystar the next couple of games, but then their final match will be against 999
I think Dolphin do have a solid chance in that match based on how they fared today on the flip side of that
Leftovers, look I've been impressed with them and of course their match yesterday was a lot more done against 9-9
But this game if anything does perhaps so that there are a few more cracks in leftovers
That need to be addressed before they start taking on their bigger opponents
Yeah
You're right and they called me by surprise because yesterday's game people were super solid and today
There were good moments from left over sure
But like you said that if they were for more cracks
Well, it's gonna be the lack of team play maybe like a respecting their opponent entirely certain
But if that's the first four rounds for them to not figure out how much do we have to try
to actually beat Dolphine's course, then they realize very quickly
we're going to try a whole lot because we're actually about to lose.
Yeah, you really can't afford to get complacent here, but of course I'm sure it'll be interesting to hear from Yanis himself in the interview.
Yanis, congratulations on your second win here in APL.
I have to ask though, it got a little bit closer than we expected.
Did after your comments yesterday in the game against 9-9-9, surely there was extra pressure going up against Gullfin today?
Yeah, 100%. We didn't really expect to be this close against them. I think it honestly should have been a 7-2 or even like a 7-3.
We just got two complains and everyone agreed on the team after we won. We just got two complains and at least no one tilted, no one got mad at each other, no one was screaming. Everyone was fine.
At the end of the day, we just have to win the game, even though we already had like minus setbacks or like issues that we
some chose we had
Like trying to go for once
Even though we know we're like a better five man team against them and we didn't need to take once and
after them they
They countered us by like just holding and waiting to get one pick and that's when they push
We had many, many passes to pose it out, even in an attack I think we just trolled the rounds.
But at the end of the day, my team played good, we played good as a team and we won the bad things we won.
But of course we're not happy with the result, we didn't have three points for us.
Yeah? I mean it sounds like you guys have a very good mental like you said right?
Nobody tilted, nobody got angry, you guys did also get a victory at the end 8-7, so it's okay.
Woo, it's okay. You guys are not playing back to back night even maps for example. Are you guys
just hiding some strats right now waiting for better opponents? Like are you guys just happy to
show as little as possible? Or what's the kind of strategy with the map pool right now? Because
you know we tend to say the really good teams play as few maps as possible. So that's a best
of threes in the playoffs final. You can then show the real maps. Are you guys hiding strats
What's an L?
With strats I think we don't have much to hide at all, but with map pool I think we just play like what we're comfortable with, like team wise what we're comfortable with, depends on the opponent, like what can we get out of them or like what's the place, like what are good maps and we try to avoid them or play them but counter them in a way.
Like as for stress, we don't have much to hide.
Like I think we don't like,
really don't want to hide anything as much as possible.
We want to like take as much wins and points
as we can at the end of the day.
Like what I said yesterday,
I mean, no one expects us to get into playoffs
or even like five or four.
So our job here is to like,
group with the other teams like performance, map pool,
Or they can show their strength and move in the standings in a way.
With your win today, you have made a pretty strong case for top 6, maybe top 5 if you can compete with some of the other teams in this league.
Of course, your next game next week, you have a little bit of time off, is against Wave-O.
The big dogs, everyone's looking at Wave-O.
How do you feel going up against the best team in APAC?
What do you think you guys are going to get out of that match?
Of course, it's like so good to finally go up against him.
Since like ever since I started, like I guess each or even trying to compete in T3, T4, T2,
I think I've watched majority of those players, especially Izzy,
even when he was in Giants or even Averwolves and I think just when I get a lot of experience,
a lot of knowledge against them, I think we're going to learn a lot from them and grow from them.
Of course, even us, we don't expect to win but if we win, I mean it's better, but I doubt.
I mean it's not like we doubt but we already talk about it, we just like against them,
we just have fun guys, no one expects us to win, it's like they're the best team in
I think all of Asia are even like a top 18 in the world and they just have fun, they play a game,
they just have fun and chill, enjoy the game, just like that. I don't even want to be here,
like let's just enjoy every game. We've got plenty of time to prep for that. You've had two
phenomenal games this week, double wins back to back for you guys. Anything you want to say
is I trust you to mind before we close up the interview. Thank you for like coaches,
for like slim lans for like prepping us and calming us down especially slim when he called the time
off he called us to calm down and like the idea uh our family and friends thank you for watching
my dad my siblings my stepmom uh my beautiful girlfriend for always supporting me my university
friends and like everyone thank you very much and pick us up please please pick us up
yeah somebody pick these guys up come on any orgs out there yeah listen see what these
guys have done back to back wins two wins a week congrats again Janus and we'll
see you soon. Good week in the office for Janus and the boys from not very long
ago qualifying into tier one and now back to back wins. Next game though Pengu
is elevate versus day start and a cool world game. Very much need the win
after losing 7-0 yesterday to Sharp, but we'll be back for that game after this break.
I think the the tactical aspect of Siege and it's kind of what made me hooked to
Terra Sun in the start like being able to drone, see the enemy's locations and
like plan out your own is what hooked me and then obviously the more I played the
better I got which made me want to play more and you know raise my my confidence
in the game as well so the early days of Bleed were insane to be honest like
everything that they would show us while we were at home before we went
over it looked too good to be true but when we went over like everything was
was perfect like we had the best gaming year we were staying in houses that none
of us could even fathom staying in I was staying in a house on a private island
in Sintosah Island I was staying in a house near Orchard Road a 22 million
dollar house being a fresh 18 year old channel into a different country
of play games I felt like I was a little celebrity to be honest yeah
everything was perfect in the early days there was no pressure on us
because we were a brand new team, all the Carson staff, they didn't know who I was, they didn't know who Asti was,
all they knew was we had Reeps and Hoven.
I think it was kind of after we started smashing everyone and you know getting 7-0-0
to all the stages every stage, the end of the pressure kind of built up a little bit but
in the first season we were still like just four friends having fun just playing the game
on a larger scale. Yeah four friends.
So the first event we qualified to was Atlanta in 2023. We actually missed the
first major which kind of devastated us because we went full stage 70 and then
we got into the playoffs and there was no lower bracket. We've had a bad day
against Fury I think. Yeah we were out of the major and the offseason back then
was like three months. There was three months of us just like sitting doing
nothing to us just trying to improve. When stage two came around that we
We didn't want to have the same thing happen.
Stature came around, we went for us again,
and we ended up losing to Fury again in playoffs,
but we had a lower bracket this time.
So in the lower bracket, we ran to that,
and we ended up saying elevate in a barn burner game,
at like 3 a.m. in the morning or something.
Reap dropped like a 25 bomb in one lap.
By the end of that series, I couldn't even be excited.
I was so exhausted.
My teammate now on Speak Easy,
he was on elevate at the time, bursting us.
He said he finished that series,
took a shower and went to work.
So that's just one of the most memorable moments of my time playing.
Now I think going into Atlanta, like we were still kind of in the mindset, you know, just
four friends having fun.
We saw as well, like the previous major scars made like a top eight run.
In scrims we would literally smash scars, we would 11-0 them like multiple times,
10-2, 9-3, 11-1, always, we'd always smash scars.
So we kind of went into it with that perspective, like, oh, these guys just got top eight
and we're literally smashing them, like we can seriously play.
We ended up scrimming as well, like when we got to the player hotel for Atlanta.
We scrim phased and we smashed phased, we scrim fury and got smashed, which is not fun.
I think we scrimmed on what seemed like coming boo.
We had kind of an easy group, like we had Kagan our group, who you know at the time
they literally got grouped at every event, so we had that like mental bonus going into it as well.
We made out of groups and then it was swiss stage and that was our first like real
international matchups. We ended up versus MAD and Sonics and we beat both of them. So we went
2-0 on Swiss. I don't remember what happened after that actually. I think we won the Major actually.
After Atlanta we like barely scraped into ESI like based on points. Even though we won the Major
we needed something or someone that could help us kind of go to the next level. We were looking
around the the ecosystem for like coaches and just so happened the Julia from
Eminem at the time they're all collapsed so we ended up being able to snag Julia
going into SI 24 it's kind of our first like true test to see how good we are and
if we we kind of needed to make changes to our roster or our system.
SSI's you know always start with BO3's start with the group stage so you know
the best teams are gonna come out of the group stage there's no funny
business at just like cheesebio ones.
moment of course for leftovers despite often getting very close but it heats up
further and further from here. Pengu next up Elevate and Daystar.
Yes it's gonna be I don't know it could be a spice when we're thinking like super
close super intense but in the back of my mind I'm a bit fearful for Daystar
because they're coming off an awful game last night as 0-7 lost to Sharper. So
when we're looking at Daystar it's just the part really swing this 180
degrees in the all direction we gotta see them play better as individuals as a team communication
the operators the prep work literally everything because when you talk about last night's game
against sharper there weren't a single like wheel shining cause of the habit of liking
yeah that's the problem is that one seven zero does get much worse than that what do you say
after a seven zero three kills in the first four rounds yeah and look we spoke to that
We spoke to Harambe before the match the previous day and I asked him like you know what do you feel about Sharpa?
I mean you guys are clearly the rivalry for stage 2 about who's gonna make it to Osaka and he was confident.
Harambe said look we made no roster changes unlike Sharpa, unlike a lot of other teams in the league
and we think that lack of roster changes would give us an advantage.
We've had more time to work on our team chemistry in our Strapbook.
He was very confident in that and yeah I would love to talk to Harambe after the game today
because it would give us a chance to ask about what the hell happened from his perspective
last night and yeah I don't know they need to lock in because top four is a given surely
for Neistan. This is the team that was top two in the region for a very long time.
Their goal was certainly making it to Osaka and step one is getting back on the horse after
a shocking entrance to the stage. I mean it's easy like there's no something in the air
because we hyped up top 4, the top 2, the expectations for APL Croatia, but we never know what's going to happen.
And on the other side is a similar story for LL, because we don't know exactly how good they were going to be
until they showed us, I think, yesterday, Abril's Fury.
They come up with 7-2 victory, but they've been not even last, but they showed us a very high level of teamwork.
We also saw some of those niche operators that they were playing as defense, like right here,
you're told you're the maestro,
mobbing your encounters, countering the planter,
the monkey, et cetera.
It feels like Elevator going into stage 2 here in Asia
with a new look, a new place, a new feel,
and I think in the right direction.
Yeah, absolutely.
It's been a headache for Elevate as an organization
for quite some time.
As a roster, there's been so much turbulence, right?
Like, all of last year, it was about bringing in the goats,
you know, Psycho, all of these crazy Brazilian players,
world champions, and what could they do in APAC.
And after such a disappointing showing at 6-in-1-tional,
started this year where they lost to Daystar fun enough,
there is a bit of a rivalry between these two gorgs,
even back with the old roster.
Obviously that team imploded it,
and it was goodbye to the Brazilians,
and it was hello to a sadly very weak,
but all Asian roster.
And now for Elevate, most recently,
massive roster upgrades in the off-season
between stage one and two.
Mr Punch and Sapper coming in from Soul's Heart up there,
coming in formally from Wave Open.
Let's really hone in on some of the OGs on this roster
because for Sapper, this is the first time
he has ever played in tier one for a team outside
of that old legacy Soul's Heart roster
that went through so many names, including Elevate.
Back in 2021, in 2022, of course,
that Ty Roster he played with was Elevate.
He's played against Pika so many times
the captain of Bay Star has also been in this scene for a very long time. He, however, has always played with that exact same roster ever since 7th Heaven qualified for the APAC North League in 2020.
He has been playing with this roster through various organizations, Electrify, Dire Wolves, Daystar, off to international events like the Yonchoping Major, not too dissimilar to Scatman.
and both of these players know what it's like to be the best team in the region and go overseas to represent
APAC and and now here they are both of them just fighting desperately to try and join weibo at an international event after what has felt like
forever of failing to make it
So look at that multi kill from Piggler 65 multi kills for the scapman's 34
Like to speak about how many rounds right this guy has such a big impact getting in multitude of kills
Because that's often what we talk about, right?
If you get like one or two kills grilling around, you get good mana vented, that can be a much easier run for your team.
Or, on the flip side, at the end of a round, if things are looking dire, you find a multitude of kills as well. Same exact story.
It's a player and figure that can save his team time and time again, in a very consistent basis as well.
Yeah, and Paker is one of a duo that has been in Rambo Six Siege playing on the exact same team for the longest time.
Pika and Sufley, these two players have been playing together on
A-Star, slash Dire Wolves, slash Electrofly, slash 7th Heaven
for almost seven years, Pengu.
And I'm trying to rack my brain right now.
And I'm trying to think of what other duos are still together in Rainbow Six
for over six and a half years, even internationally,
because a lot of OG duos like Nesk and Palu, they have broken up.
You know, we don't have many players who have been playing together,
for that long of a time.
I'm really doing a very impressive statement to make
to, hey, seven years going for us here in T1 competition.
And you gotta need that because you're going to clubhouse.
You gotta need that synergy, the experience,
the strat, the depth, and everything else
that you get over all the years of knowledge.
But when I'm thinking of clubhouse
and looking at Elevators performance yesterday,
compared to Daystar, I have to say,
I think on paper, Elevators should be heavily favored
going to this one,
both from confidence perspective of course, giving the result, but also strategy-wise.
I generally think Elevate have done a great job of somehow letting Kompos Gordy.
Yeah, it's a big chance now for Elevate to show that they practiced against Sharper on the first playday on this map,
just for a chance to now take down Daystar.
If Elevate do beat Daystar here, this is a huge moment, maybe.
This is such a huge chance after Elevate failed to beat Daystar in stage one.
And of course, the Orgs, like I said, have a bit of a rivalry.
Daystar knocking Elevate out of the six Invitational at the start of this year.
It's a big chance for Elevate to get back into that conversation.
A wounded Daystar seems like the best target for Elevate to put their feet
forward and suggest themselves to make it to that top four,
which has evaded them ever since changing back to a full Asian roster since the Brazilian days.
Daystar though, they sorely need this as well after the embarrassment that was last night.
Can't go another playday without finding a win.
The tournament has been locked in and to no surprise, we're talking about the external walls,
the thermite and the ace, the bandit and the kairid.
And then we'll have to kind of see what the key operators will be for both of these teams.
You could see operates like your Monty or your Capitopping bend away your asami or your mirror for example
That's gonna be more about the adaptation of the current problems in the first three rounds
Or as always here is the kind of sitting the tone
All the same that's all look at this scat man on to the north right off the earth saying hey if y'all is gonna
Spend the black beard which he does every single round usually I can counter and that is the thing of scat man can find
himself in the middle of the map able to rotate in the right location because this is the weakness I
think of Noor. If you're going to play by the bomb side as an anchor, hoping for a bomb sub rush with
a shield, now you got the perfect counter. What happens if Scatman is going to play on the bomb
side waiting for a bomb sub rush, they're going for a full clear top floor down. You can't find
the shield operator with the Noor gadget then, so it really is about putting Noor, the player
who's playing them at least, in the position where they have a lot of freedom to move around.
Yeah, they're not locked to a single position holding a single angle and right now Scatman is actually with the one Roman Topflow inside a gym master bedroom
So he is gonna be in that spot where he can help us to meet wherever y'all goes
I've noticed that most players tend to do that interesting I would have thought the elder would get picked
It does have better stats, but perhaps the recoil is not quite it, especially in the air-speed it's a bit slower
One of the issues is when you start reloading
You uh, you're dead. When you start to reload you only have one single up with it
Um, because she's like a good reload kind of gun so you are committed to the reload every single time
I just recommend going, you know, if you have 15 bullets or not you kind of just get back with it, so
I'd love to see Scatman have a big impact, especially against Yao in this round with the Nohr
we haven't seen it really have a huge impact yet.
Done, we've been picked a couple of times in that match earlier today,
wasn't picked at all in NAL last night.
For Elevate, it's a big chance.
I mean, it has been a year since Elevate last beat Daystar.
It was with a completely different roster, but way back,
finally enough, in stage two in the round-robin phase,
this exact matchup a year ago, Pegu,
that was the last time Elevate beat Daystar.
And, well, up eight, all the time.
Hi, mate.
bit of very loosey-goosey fragger since coming back onto the elevator squad. Unfortunately the first
one to fall is told to detonate some of the Goyos. Daystar have made good progress with that pick.
And I call though, here's the player inside of Blumos Diagon, past the road to the covers of
Doctoral, who will often be off on very quick leap. Action happening everywhere,
they would fall right down stairs with soundcubers and punchstrikes first because we'll
more kill, you are Yao watching to sight. Where is the Nohr? The Nohr is nowhere to be seen
and Yao might be fighting ghosts. Unfortunately, ADS is a little bit too much and does lose
the fight to Enhaikal. Here you can now 1v4 Enhaikal lying in wait, he'll deliver
the killing blow, elevate off to a strong start on the basement despite losing that
opening pick. There's more to see here from Daystar. I know it's the very first
round so you can't take too much away from it but that looked a lot like yesterday's game on bank
where there's not a clear plan being cooked around from the beginning of that round there's half the
attackers are roam clearing but they don't drone bar they don't get full top of control for a while
the other harvests walking into the bomb site also without a drone because yow when dirt tunnel
into the bomb site looking below the kitchen hatch with the goo fire has popped i'm thinking
there's gonna be a player here we have the silhouettes nobody was ever there they're
fighting ghosts. They have no clear precise amount of information. I'm thinking
the devil is a solid snake. This is crop house. It's such a small map that you can
scan so much of the problems of an outside the building, especially here in
the German master bedroom, right? You go outside the connector window, the master
window. You can see all the way to the top main staircase effectively. From that
we see a lot from teams like, excuse me, teams like G2 and Benjamaster. He
lost ping on those windows because he just tried so much intel and then
Yeah, you're much more knowledgeable by knowing what the enemies are rather than looking for the first maybe getting shot look in the wrong direction
Just a million different ways you can play any particular round
Problems in a round often remain the same for you to hear in different that is it's just the solutions change right and
When it comes to map clearing when you've got a lot like so it's like you kind of kind of forward to it
not play him. It's funny, I was thinking about this earlier today, Pengu. A lot of the operators have
come out recently, have been really strong and then been nerfed. Like, nor his initial concept,
which was shown in the reveal, are a lot stronger than currently because of the way
interacted with hard breach gadgets. Dockabee on the initial announcement, much stronger than
she is now where both her primary and secondary weapon and gadget have all been nerfed. But
Solid Snake is the one operator that really hasn't actually seen any tweaking since release,
and it's just as powerful as when it was first announced.
Really used with the big booms there, is that a kitchen?
Doesn't find the kill but it will watch the rotation now from below from a connector into office.
You can argue that Zucca used a singular of those amphibriches and still gotten the
cement go done but it must have had false influence that wasn't there there.
Pussy goes on down, destroys the miracle asphage,
The job here is step-by-step problem solving right now from the attack of Daystar.
In the game, I'm having three U.M.I. magnets in conflict with the knight that asked for each
but has the problem that it's before when you have an operator in the quote-on-quote
wrong location, you can't get to utilize the gadget.
The knight tells me to help in the extended room here in SCASC-ZTV, things that are
construction instead, but his strategy is never the mirror with him.
We're almost to the large here for Toll G. I don't know how to say that, but Jinx Simony
retreats.
They're out.
They are.
They're worried about that side pressure just because of this breach here on the main wall
from Azuki and with that mirror countered as well, he has a way to peek quite aggressively
from this position.
Up on the other side.
Yeah, really noticing.
Up there playing so much more aggressively than he did on Waybo.
It's very interesting to see the way that he's been afforded the ability to change.
He does find one before being traded on back. Shotgun comes out for Toji, bit of damage, but no kill yet onto Yao.
He needs that support. Oh, the nitro cell's gonna come out. The peek comes through from Yao. Good pre-fire.
Toji didn't have any ammo on the SMG-11, so he wasn't able to fight the ADS in Blackbeard.
Now it comes out to win high-cow up against that Blackbeard.
But guess what? Mr. Punch hiding behind the desk in the corner. Good for one, good for two.
Can't find the third though is it trades him back and show you'll be able to finish off and high cowl on the ground
It's just
Scatman left in the one beat two. They shouldn't know where he is put down
Can't find this. No he does he trades and elevate clutch up the round. Thank you very much to Scatman. Oh
My god
So when you trade as a defender in the bomb Eastern plants and you will win the round because you achieve the
objective of the round, right? You don't allow the attackers to give the bombsite and plant
on the diffuser. Had the bomb been planted and you go for a trade, then the attackers would have won
the big clutch from scat man, good double swing, good read of isolating his opponents and using
his injured teammate as a bit of a bait. Because when you get shot out of office from
in iCal, he knows okay, it's a fear, it's in office, pushing you towards the rotate. I now
have like a one or two second opening where I can go for the swing, hit a quick flick,
If I get the right timing and I hit the first couple of shots, I can actually win the round.
Huge moment there.
I would love to talk to Scatman at some point on an interview
and hear what it's like rejoining Elevate. I mean, iconic moment for Elevate was the
6th of October, 2022 at Stockholm, Sweden. And Scatman back when both I9 and Otagiri were
on the team, made it to, I think it was top 12 off the top of my head, but had a particularly
memorable game when Anagiri broke the kill record. I mean it was a great one that Elevate
had, also Berlin Major made it to top 8, ended up getting eliminated by W7M shortly
before their rise to power. And yeah, it's just so cool to see both Scatman and Arpe
back on the team that they, and just a bunch of stuff, back on that team that
They were on for about some time.
Ape had a stint with Elevate around the time of the Copenhagen Major, if memory serves me correct.
Back in the day with speakies.
Funny, Elevate is just an org that has just had every single player imaginable.
That'd be a fun little game that we could play.
It's like, what organization has represented all these players and just have a few pictures of players?
and you could have like laxing scatman and psycho and it's so much like nicks
yeah very funny we got about the laxing more i think i spoke with him recently about his endeavor
because they're comparing notes from like my time work with the koreans and pc talent or his
time working with the innovative players as well and just like the again like the number one thing
when you talk to like the old alien, the import coach and stuff, it's often the cultural differences
and I think that goes very underestimated, thinking ah you play a CH, you play the same game but
the way you live, the way you practice, the way you think about things is very culturally impacted
and that's usually the big thing right, culture shock. If you move from one country to another
and start working with your kids and you're working full korean, it's gonna be a bit of
a switch up, you gotta adjust to your environment. I since I did the same struggles where the
First couple months was like what am I doing? How do I see the right things in these players?
Yeah, it's always a tough game and now that elevator actually in English speaking roster compared to
exactly laxing works. I was actually talking about laxing playing with elevator back in the day in
North America. Oh, okay. I mean he did coach inside. Yeah. No, he did coach the the tie roster
for a fight. Yeah, but yeah, I mean they were they were coming and playing in tie at the time.
I'd be very curious to see how it changes. I'd love to ask Gatman, what's it like playing
on the English speaking team for the first time in your career?
Missed opportunity, up is one point of health stuck in a corner, gets shot down by Seal who
was playing outside the CCTV breach I believe. Very well done, they were getting an opening
pick and I can also bury low on health right now. Also goes down as I mentioned
his name. Dusty, both to shotgun, smoke over with a flanking spot, he's in the
punch. These are locked in. They got the front and the back push.
Oh great shot there with the glass from Yaw though. Big pick on the bomb side
leaves it completely vulnerable. They still haven't quite realized it yet. I think
now they finally have. They flooded inside. Scatman trying to retake but
it's not likely to happen. Okay, he takes down Yaw. I mean look if there's
anyone to take down. Yaw is certainly a good one. Azuki not able to get
position of the plan but it doesn't matter because the final players from Elevate will fall
on their retake day star on the board looking a little bit more substantial in that round.
Yeah, it was a little more stable in general right they had opening pick second pick and
they had a flying drone watching the main staircase push up which very importantly somebody was
watching the drone relate the communication and the player master bedroom turned around and started
watching it. So back to basics with Daystar in a very positive way. The kind of performance
that I want to see from them on maps like your clubhouse, your bank, back when like
Conchlit was in the map pool because now Villa is in instead. Very much like step one, step
two, step three, and make sure that nobody is skipping any of the steps or if you
are going to skip them, you do it together so no one is left behind because you can
very quickly get caught off guard in like a 2v1 swing or a nasty flank. What do you
you see actually Mira getting banned the way, it's the third kind of wall denying operators
have banned it, Kaede and Demira, where on the other side it was Grim being banned the
way, I mentioned operators like A shield, the capitol, the glass, it's gonna be the Grim,
it's gonna be about that intel game, and I guess it makes sense to think about it
because Grim doesn't really have any like heart counters, whereas Warden can counter
glass and games, so from my shield through the cameras you can see through the smoke
For example, Monty can play any of the trap operators, the forest, smoke.
It does feel like Grimm just has the least kind of interactions right now in the game
where if the Grim Beasts come out too bad you're spotted or you're running away from the bees.
Yeah, yeah.
Kind of like the opposite of Lion. Lion locks you in place, Grim forces you to move.
Or be detected, right?
Yeah, true. And what happens if they're Lion and they play the Grim?
Run away, he gets spotted.
And he's leading it either way.
It's what, no matter what.
No winning!
It's funny though, I like, Elevate Band double Hard Breach.
And, notably, the only round they start one on the attack is the round where they actually didn't bring any dedicated Hard Breaches.
Last round they didn't run Hibana, they got all their Hard Breach from Zodan, from the Striker.
I was saying, I was saying, Striker.
That's two sets of Tinkan Openers, which is more than enough if you know how to place them.
This round, they've got two sets of Tinkan Openers, and the Hibana is one.
And there's maybe one of the most influential changes ever in siege from a T1 level at least
is the introduction of the secondary harbinger canisters.
The fact that you can play Ying, Monty, Sophia, Grimm and have 8 ways of reaching a hatch
or a wall, because all of those operators that I mentioned and others have the secondary
harbinger gadget.
It's a very flexible tool.
And even in this round, like I said, Stryker and Capitao and Ibane, you have more
So you could ever possibly need here unless someone dies, of course.
Bulk used to have them.
So there was a time when bot had like, what, gone six, can openers, can a self-reaching gadget.
I love it.
And then Grim became that operating state, he was sickened there, shook on Belief, commando
primary, and then can openers.
It was like a mini bulk, if you will.
No, it's good for the root.
Oh, wow.
Nice angle there from seal.
It was just a tiny little bit of a tilt ball with a broken, so you can see that angle
up to arpe.
Four rounds in a row, Panku, that Ape has been involved in the opening engagement.
He got the first two opening kills, and then he died first in the last two rounds.
He really is going polar opposite to his replacement on Waybo and Gossy.
He is always in an aggressive position, looking to try and have an impact to make a play.
And that's the funny part, right, is that Ape is now on decent elevate,
and Waybo, they actually got a player that would just not do any of these things ever.
I'm sure Api would happily adapt as she didn't wait once, so okay guys I'll play passively if you want.
But it never feels good to be kind of on a leash as a player, because you're not playing of instincts,
you're playing of like a command being told by the dealer.
So won't kind of argue maybe an upgrade for both players or both teams in a way.
New jammer on our right, it does count that the Hibana quite effectively,
so they cannot open up the triple wall, more than it already is when they rotate it herself.
There's no deep angle here, or I still get to utilize, and he gives
We're single point of health there, I don't see that much Scatman.
Well, let it just waiting for this eventual push, not to tell you where it's going to come from.
There's quite a few avenues and there's no real time to rotate now for Daystar,
so it's likely to be a drop down the kitchen hatch as Scatman sneaks his way through.
Still look by the bottom main stairs, but Azuki goes down.
Bax had lucker to come from third tunnel as well by Yao.
Scatman has to catch the off angle here as Mr. Punch tries to buy a bit of time. Scatman seems to be
Undetected and he finds one finds the double the scatman looks for the fill of the shock over gets traded on back as a
Dfuse needs to go down from suit plate olji and Mr. Punch must take him down and in the end
He fakes it. He cannot confirm it elevate find a third round of defense
Very good read right there. It's a bad off figure on all you guys
I've been playing a very safe sheltered round
We have to make a place somewhere and if you gotta make a play just have one guy go for it because if everyone should
I make the hero play not only giving away
They try to do something crazy in the server
But also you can have four people die very quickly
So they sent just one guy scat man below the hatch with the FNG 11
He should be good for two kills and he catches the perfect timing that smoke fire extinguisher
That was on the third tunnel door was popped at the perfect time
So Yao walks in right after, doesn't clear his hard right because his teammates on the hatch already said it was clear.
So BB goes in deep, G gets shut down, and then he catches the first player dropping down the hatch at his best case scenario.
As Scatman just got in one kill on the hatch, Yao keeps looking forward to BB.
Now Scatman is completely on an island with Blackhead locking down his teammates.
So he saved his teammates, he got to kill himself after just stay alive for a bit longer,
and he sees the third player dropping down for the planned spot.
So it gives elevate so much information to work with make all the right decisions
Now they go back to that gym and instead a lot here about the extension to CCTV
Something that you just in our could leave
Have to go for if you stop the round with all five defenders just in off the big room
You don't have enough space to come for the exist
Right, you can play one guy by a mattress one guy office one guy bathroom now
You're kind of running out of positions
So you take the Stalin's CTT instead of the extension, over a couple of fights, fall along back,
and if you end up in a 5v5 with a very low counter on the clock there,
you can go down the main staircase, drop the hatch inside the gym, and play inside a fire.
Because this bomb set is all about just spreading out, and like a net worth of hairs that can help it jump out.
I quite like that N-Hackal's going for that aggressive shoot, just on the off-chance because
of the way that the Blackbeard animation happens, I don't know if it's ever happened to me before.
When you go for that dash, the dash effect with the Blackbeard where you break your softwall,
sometimes you just get really unlucky animation locked and headshot, I don't know where.
So I like that N-Hackal's just spraying a little bit, I hope so you might deal some
damage or get the kill. To elevate it's just about slowly healing back the layers
for treating and overextending. Very keen to see if Ape ends up in an early
engagement for a fifth round here.
Surely is keen for it. It has to make sense. There has to be a sensible run-by.
I just got random one. You got to swing off a contact, clear 50-50 and
a wave of these that leads to your position right now being top red. Actually that's gonna
be Mr. Punch up, he's been set up off, still the same thing applies. Your background clear,
it's gonna be a late run, gunfight most likely.
A shot from Scatman, man, he is popping off today after a 1v2 clutch, now another
kill for Scatman! Eight so far in this half and he's doing his best to keep Elevate
in a powerful position despite his position being completely obliterated by that hard
breach from the Hibana he still manages to survive for a long time and elevate
look to try and retreat back to the box ice gap that's on the floor he's just
required as much time as he possibly can looking for the kill got that spirit
toxic thven pocket but right now it's about just catching timing with the gun
up right here. Swing comes through. It's going to be ready for a fight.
Just waiting.
Biting his time trying to bait Peaker in, but now I've got the reaper. That's probably going to be a retreat.
We've heard that rappel. It's based on trying to pivot Yao, making his way into the office.
And the C4 says goodnight Yao.
I told you and up a boat get aggro and up a fine snot just the opening kills. It seems in this game
But also some closers. That's a big 2k with the scorpion
Scatman again, just the unkillable man on the bomb side
The beautiful round again just solid seat across the board
There is the question of like what would happen in these late round moments of Scatman doesn't find some kills in the mid round
But that's what's happening very consistently. He is finding those kills time and time again. It's the third time I think from my account here
He's been saving elevator, right?
There's a first victory on Jim bedroom where he gets a 1 to 2 trade clutch and gets the run victory
And we just saw basement where he gives up two peas on the cabbets on the black beer and now again right before execute
He finds players from bathroom quantity goosey breach
It's getting a lot of value in the server and on the other side right looking at yowl for example
When he first joined Daystar, he was given like the glass, the black beard, the shields in general, like a very high-valuable role.
Today and yesterday, it is almost exclusively his black beard, and he walks in like a 3v5, he dies to a c4, round is kind of over.
We haven't really seen Daystar building on Yao as much here in this stage, as it did in the previous.
And Yao has had some individual struggles, I think because of it.
Not that he is playing poorly himself, necessarily, but that the team is saying,
you go do your thing, you'll be fine.
When in fact he does need some help, he's playing his shield for God's sake,
like he'll give you the information, and you gotta help him get the right
cocktail together, or they're right there, cocktail together, right,
or give him a round strategy.
Now he's actually gonna be on the glass, much more of an entry duty.
That means you gotta smoke for him, peek for him, drone for him when he needs to.
And look at the attack of lineup. There is no support of smoke grenades.
They have grenades, they have flashbangs, they have garbage destruction.
All things in which they need. But it's again Yao only having his own tools in pocket and no one's supporting it.
On the flip side of that you have a pair of cowlids, folks, in terms of the bulletproof E-L-I's for Vice-Church,
who is also running ACOG on the ACS 12. It's so funny how swings and roundabouts happen.
like people would have never picked this gun in the past when the DMRs were active
but now that those DMRs have been there people have been hanging on us like maybe it is worth
running this absolute pea shooter of a slug shotty.
Training construction though at the moment is dodgy so that he can stay safe while he uses
those evil eyes to try and support and high-cow. He's done a lot of damage on to y'all.
Half HP remains for the glass who also only has one smoke left.
Exactly, so the wind conditions are dwindling here, we'd love to see a
capital, you get smoke and a fire for glass, you get different ways of dealing
with the problems of calibrators because with this attack on land or right now
like Sophia, Deimos, etc. I would have loved like a master bit and push into
cash, but they tried that previously and it wasn't successful round but I
guess I don't want to repeat the exact same shots twice in a row instead
to go from this down to the other store and no one go to no one covering is a trade thankfully and you're gonna say worth it
Yes, because the three car rockers
Because the beach push very weird
Suflate now. I don't know what the play was
Decisive just push the breach like to this time of the whole despite the
full control not being maintained and now I told you can harass this player inside garage seal
Taking quite a bit of damage from that laser
Unfortunately does lose that evil eye. It's still got one in cash. I'm not sure if the other one is still up it alive
I think that was destroyed
Evil eye smokes they all work off the timing
Issue is a based on recognized that hey smokers that he's catching out
Scatter the place you thought told you the nicer cams. Who's got the guns up ready for a fight?
That's the big question right now the player below can attack one by the beach what my cat offers
Scatman is still alive, which means I'm gonna count on elevate here he is
SNG 11 oh my by the peaker
So how's that nitro cell as well planting is gonna be a real headache here for daystar
Especially a scatman can always go below. That's a massive nitro
11 kills the scatman as seal is the last one left alive daystar
have only won a single round in the first half they have not bounced back after that loss to Sharpie yesterday and
Now elevate and finally found their footing 5-1 on their defense
And I'll be yours forever
Don't check me
Don't hang your head
So no we can make it
Make it if we try
Just be mine
Don't know if he wants to laugh more
Blast it together, huh?
You don't see
Come in or crush on me
You'll be happy with me
So just be mine
5-1 for Ella Day. It's a phenomenal day for Scatman in particular who's popping the
hell off. But they star man, they went six, so in the first half against Sharpie yesterday
today, it's five, one down. What the hell is going on with this team right now, Pengu?
Because there's clearly something, there must be something more to it, right? There has
to be a deeper story here. There has to be something happening behind the scene. Like
their first playday seven through the left, everything looked fine. We talked to Harambe.
seemed fine it just makes no sense to think that they have won one of the last 13 rounds.
No it's a massive concern and you know the story going today was that they got to just flip it
you know all the way to the other side because yesterday was an embarrassment to be honest and
I'm thinking it's a day off you know we'll allow it it's fine and you can argue that
scatman is putting in a lot of heavy lifting right now for elevator to get them to this five
on Skullline and they would be true. A daystar even if they just got that word popping off,
they're still not hitting all their checkpoints, right? There's some gaps, there's some issues
like a communication, enough to fire around in the half. We saw them finding clear cattle
rafters, yow dives on Garrett's door, they get a trade from downstairs, they get cattle
control. This is great! Now they gotta put a drone downstairs, walk up the rafters,
breeze the walls and go very execute, right? Wrong! They have two guys walking the main
and Freezion just dies out of nowhere and they're round us now back into its favor.
It feels like they start working again very much like five individuals, maybe three individuals
more so than one unified team and that is a big surprise because looking at them in
the last stage and just recently in general, they've been a good team.
They're going to be back into the Locator Bomb and the Beauty and the Beast.
Like Karambe said, after they beat Leftovers in their first playday,
they start to have the advantage of not making any roster changes.
So in theory they would be the most practice of working like this.
Yes, it's a team
It's of a concern have to be honest
I also think go into maps like bang yesterday clubhouse today given the struggles in the server with synergizing together
Probably not the best
Rather have slight night Haven border
chalet
cafe
Villa if you're thinking of course
I think those would all be, what I call, better options.
I have a lot of questions here for Daystar.
Unless they really turn this camera and we're not going to get any answers.
Are we? Certainly not from Marombi.
Oh, do they're getting peaked from outside by seal?
There's that man in upstairs with the black beard looking to hunt down Sioux Flay.
We will slowly retreat, it's just a bit of a roam before heading back down to the basement.
The Daystar is the Alice trying to set things up and actually catches Sufley on the retreat.
The Blackbeard here about to find his man, never mind he is baited, well played here
by Seal who finds the double kill.
The only lifeline at the moment for Daystar but he is quickly traded back.
Half the round gone, half the players in the server dead.
elevate, maintain the advantage and the roam clear is stopped in its tracks.
And again look at Daystar, it's one player deep in the room from Seal going for as many
kills as he can with all its members now hiding downstairs in the bomb site.
You can want to be a bit picky here and say Seal could have gotten those first two kills
and then just like stayed inside of here and dropped down the hatch or a Sammy optimist
window, but he swings outside against EMR and just dies afterwards so he gets his
two kills, Zero's 9 and 6 is looking as a great player, but the team is suffering from it.
Does they or not in a particular strong position?
Warcraft is going to affect poppin' the gas pipe, open up the triple wall for pressure,
but that does the same thing, and to make me worried, I have saw the Snakeman I count.
If he can walk down the main staircase or drop down the hatch, he can hit the scanner
on the device and see exactly where these two defenders will be.
Yaw and Church and Asuki, playing by triple box.
Yeah, I deducted by N. High cow knows exactly where he is
Thanks to fight but how wins it regardless up a able to trade a Zuki looking for his first killer the game gets pre-fired through the wall
A response to his own up a forcing that black down told you look at a cover he'll find the kill with the DMR
Elevate on the verge of giving daystar their second L in a row
in a row. Daystar looking so rough around the edges. I have no idea what is wrong, but
Elevate right now, they are looking in peak form.
It's very, very convincing. Again, their ability to very quickly solve the problems.
You know, they lose the Blackbeard top of main staircase, the seal of hiding inside
a gym hallway. Instantly, they turn three people's guns in the direction of seal
to take them down as quickly as possible. They don't waste any seconds on their own
right after they get that kill they go straight back to wasting no time destroying the bombsite getting the hatches the walls etc
6-1 and the big question is where will they start to go? Where do they think they can get around victory to the gym now instead?
Bringing up the tube around
It's going to slow down the walls, but there's no wall denial. There's no mirror
Indicate up both band away. So all you're gonna do is maybe have a DMR
You shoot you up before then check actually it's a piece of right now right now and
You can just like
Stalp for 30 seconds at any of the walls, but it would have so quick in the server that
Time is really not a problem for them
It's such a shame today star isn't it? Like this was meant to be the stage where
Asia's got a second spot to the major back again. This is their chance the best chance
they've had in a while and not only are they losing to Sharpa that's perhaps a
little bit forgivable even if they lost them. Elevate look to jump up if they do
win this game as you'll see I mean they have a big chance to jump up the
standings.
I've been confidence boosted here if the Elevate goes with any roster. I mean it's quite the contrast between these two players.
gadget on ice two teams they start with no roster changes elevate which is looking
for the opening cake of course they let me can find the calic player of seal for
example as an isolated member in a gym defense that could just like rapidly
turn up the clock here for the attack that's the thing about the kills is
Yeah, you get like a five-year four, but also you get like 20 seconds extra, technically,
because you just speed up everything else.
You have less gadgets against you, there's guns against you, etc.
Well, they've actually rotated over.
They're going for breaches, the Cousy wall, or yeah, the Cousy wall, the CC wall,
connect the single wall, off the couch.
They're just setting up everything right now
and applying all the phantom pressure, opening doors, opening windows,
trying to make it feel like they're attacking from everywhere, yet nowhere at the same time.
all the time
the opening kill on the top raga from daystar
mr punch is trying to catch the cross he will do so great use of the kali couldn't
ask for much better of an operator very patient
great reaction times love to see a bit of kali play after the recent buffs
daystar 3v5 i don't think they've got it in them
not in their car form, not with steel
See, it was like they're not attacking garage, let me just move away
they're sticking it in his way, and he'll not kill us there
Asugi, or let me fall back, I don't want to die
Jiggle peeks the window, or it's safe
Fully swings the window, there's a column of the roof
holding a tiny angle like
they've been out red perfectly
They're having a zuki, my unfortunately
go without a kill for this game
but don't up on him, if he can't get
another round on the board
if they start, can't come back here from this 3v5
Elevate, very slow though looking to convert this safely and high Cal.
It's so over.
It's not just SuFle, it does feel like it's only a matter of time.
The hour the new kid for Daystar is the last one standing.
Patogi finds all three of the last kills for Elevate.
He's having a return to form today and Elevate decimate Daystar.
Nothing to say for the once second best team in Asia.
They have had a beautiful week, only a single round found in their last two matches on the flip side of that.
Elevate are showing that they are a real contender here in Asia.
Sartre, Rob, Skidger, why you playing back-to-back ladies?
You're going through a struggle right now.
You only have 24 hours for a full tournament rather than these, so they couldn't manage it.
Elevate showed up in great form, I mean, scabbing in particular.
So you know what, their first couple rounds might be a little bit close,
But it's fine because I am playing my very best Rainbow Six Siege right now and then everyone else on the attacking side
They started getting into the mix. We saw the N.I.K.K.L. entry
We saw a total actually getting incredibly active on both sides as well
Sometimes you have like a one-fourth game in place like droning operators in attack, maestro and defense
Doesn't get into the action
But he was actually the person going through those interviews at the tail end of these attacker rounds finding two kills not final round as well
Big game for Elevator as a whole. I mean look you can highlight an individual player like
Scatman but to be honest it's not just him, yeah he had a 1v2 clutch, he had a lot of
big moments where he probably should have died in his position but I feel like we're
seeing the strengths of the individuals on Elevator. I think it will take time for this
to become a cohesive roster but we're starting to see the talent on the individuals
on this team really come in and show off. Like Ape playing his old style nice and
aggressive and high Cal with his fragging capability scatman the unmovable object in power positions mr
punch and poji very consistent big win for elevate over daystar let's go and have a chat to elevate
we've got cooly on the line cooly my friends congratulations on this win this feels like
a big win obviously you guys beat fury yesterday but it's on another level to take down daystar
especially in such a dominant fashion, were you expecting it to be this one-sided? Because
I have to admit, even after Daystar got 7-0ed yesterday, we weren't expecting this result today.
After the 7-0 yesterday, I was expecting us to win, if I'm completely honest. It might be a
little bit egotistical of us to say that, but I think we're better than Shuffle. We had a
shit first day and so excuse my language um but we had I think enough skill to push across the line
so beating day style wasn't really much of a question it was how close it would be I thought
it would be a lot closer maybe a seven four uh someone is kind of crazy so it's a big win
big confidence we said once again for the boys so we uh spoke to yesterday about you know the
teamwork strategy getting the boys working together. How happy were you when you saw
clubhouse was lucky because I'm thinking that changed all of you guys's boxes for how you're
playing right now. Um, actually, the the map bands for us was a little bit rough for this game.
What clubhouse is a good map. I didn't think we'd play it because I thought, oh yeah,
they're going to crack for it. So I try and ban it. But then they banned all the maps that
I wanted to play so it kind of forced us there. So normally I say I'm very good and I win the map
bans most of the time but this one I was a total loss for us so I'm very happy with our performance
based on that. Wow, that's certainly not what you expect to see a 7-1 come through after you lose
the creditor. So upcoming for you guys you've got 9-9-9 Dolphin, Wabo and then left
left that was to round out your stage.
One could argue that you've actually got
two of your three hardest games behind you.
How do you view the rest of the round rather than the first?
So what I've told, and they, my assistant coach,
is that all our effort now goes on way back.
They're the big strong team, big giant,
the kind of, it's very scary.
And so that's who we're really worried about.
We're not really worried about 9-9,
They're our academy team.
And so we've practiced against them before.
We know what they're capable of.
And we know what leftovers is capable of.
Yannis used to be our sub.
So we kind of understand that.
And Ofin, I mean, I really need to say anything.
No offense to the boys.
They're very good players, but I don't think they're
quite up to the standard that we would need to worry about.
So Waybo is our kind of big issue that we're going to really focus on.
Sure, I mean it's great to be ambitious and look, Waybo are beatable.
Of course they are the team to beat in this league, but of course because Waybo did so well at WC,
you technically don't need to be Waybo, you could get 7-0ed every single back and play against them and still make it to Osaka.
So are you like, you're probably going to be battling for that spot for Osaka against some of the teams that you've already played,
play, you know, Daystar or Sharp are probably going to be the team.
So what are you going to do to make sure that when it comes down to the
PO3s that matter most in playoffs, that you're going to be ready for those rematches?
We've got a lot of prep going on, ready for those games.
We're making sure that the players as comfortable as they can be
outside of the game and doing, I've been looking into a lot of the
outside of the game routines and stuff that can be implementing.
Um, I think they styles a map pool for best of freeze. It's not great. I think they're not a best of three team
So I think we'll kind of be fine on that side
Sharper day. They look incredible with i9
Yes, he's really coming to fill in their weakness. So
They're the kind of team we have to worry about so we focusing all prep on them again
As well as we work. So that's our kind of focus
Awesome. Well, your next match is against 999. We'll see you after that game, I expect.
So, congrats on the big win today and we'll see you very shortly.
Thank you very much. Have a great day, guys.
Thank you, Coolie. I will. I mean, it's 10.12 p.m. for me at home, so the day is bus closing,
but I will have a great rest of my day. And we're going to have a great rest of the broadcast here.
broadcast here thank you Sharpa who are likely to be elevates biggest contenders standing
in their way of making a socket they're up next they play against the new kids 999 still
looking for their first win in tier one that games coming in guys after the short break
Let's put them in the ground.
Fall back!
Team 1, report.
Alive at where's they?
We lost contact with the other team.
They have their orders. You need to go for Nix.
They'll communicate with my eyes. You need to cover her.
On your knees.
Offside. Set the your payloads.
Your corner, Nix!
Surrender!
I see one old man.
One old man about to die!
I'm sure of yourself. Three rounds out.
Hack my phone!
Huh?
What if they do now?
We're sinking there, Sink.
We trusted each other.
And it paid off.
Rondeful for extraction
We have the group of death as well.
We had VP, MAD, Liquid, and WSVNM who won the event, one of the best teams of all time.
I think we had our first BO3 against WSVNM, and we went all three maps with them, which was already like, even though we lost, we lost 1-2.
It's a good sign to go, you know, go three maps with a team that just won two majors in a row.
We had MAD, and we beat them 2-1.
Don's a barn burner, but we kind of had like the mental advantage over them too, since we had just beaten them in Atlanta.
Atlanta. We both liquid and we beat them 2-1 as well. Their team was like falling apart at the time.
You know, it was kind of our game to lose, like they were just fighting amongst each other and stuff,
they ended up making a huge change after that. And then on our final game, like we were 2-1 at
the time, we were just 1 against 2 teams. Our final game against VP, we were coming in super
confident and that one, I think we lost 1-2 and on the final map, we were done like 1-6
and we came back to like 8-7 I think. We nearly won that 1-2 but even though we went 2-2,
ended up going to the lower bracket I think because of like we were like fourth in the group.
We ended up winning against Loss which felt amazing like getting a Brazilian team
and then we ended up getting smashed by SSG very shortly after that. At the time I wasn't really
surprised that we were playing my first two events major in an invitation because I kind of knew
how good our team was just based on like how we were smashing everyone in practice you know
after Atlanta as well we knew we could beat some international teams who were scrimmage
intentional teams and smashing them too. So for me it wasn't really a surprise
until I kind of looked back at it like a few years later and I kind of counted
like how many APAC players have even been to multiple SIs, have been to you know
every SIs since I started playing, even like APAC players total that have gone
to events. The list gets shorter and shorter the more filters you add. I kind
of look back at it now and think that that's quite impressive but at the
time I was certain that we were one of the best teams in the world so I
So I felt like, yeah, I wasn't surprised by it at all.
I felt like we earned what we were doing.
I think something that I had the most anticipation for was probably more recently, like SI 26,
the most recent SI we played at.
I was super excited to play because we just came out of winning our regional finals where
we smashed everyone, like we had a full upper bracket.
We knew our group a few weeks early and we knew our group kind of sucked too.
So I was super excited to play SI 26 as well.
I think we went into that event with really good form.
Our bootcamp was great as well.
Just like the team environment as well,
we could kind of just tell that everything was
closer perfect for us.
Winning a trophy at regional finals,
I think subconsciously in a lot of,
like, APEC players' minds, including myself,
as you're getting into the scene,
you're maybe watching Pro League,
you kind of know that just being in APEC
just lowers your chances to ever win
like an international trophy by default,
just because of, you know, how the region is.
You kind of go into it knowing it's very unlikely that you're going to win a trophy.
I mean no one from APACs ever won a trophy before.
Being able to win something even at just the regional finals, it's something that I'm
going to remember for the rest of my life.
I could finish my career, never win another trophy, but I got one trophy and I put it
on my profile picture everywhere so it's immortalised.
The people that showed they were happier than most was definitely a fan muslims and
a speakeasy.
three of us try to act cool and like hide our emotions sometimes but inside like
everyone is definitely super happy you know like there's nothing better than
winning a physical trophy and I hope to do that someday on a real international
stage. What separates me from other players in APAC? I don't think I'm
mechanically the most talented I don't think I'm the best the most
genius smartest player here in APAC but I think that surrounding myself with
other great players and learning from people that are better than me
Having a good coach helps as well a lot in terms of your personal development inside and outside of the game
Big game from LFA starts to make a little bit of a case for why they might be a contender
for a Saka, but Hengu they're gonna have to get through Sharpa who are looking in really
solid form right now with that roster upgrade bringing back I9.
Realistically I feel like Sharpa after stage one toppling Daystar now with this
roster change.
chance that that team has had maybe ever of making it back to an international event.
Yeah and I mean they have been on a streak right they took down day star 7-0 just yesterday and
I mean you often think about how can certain teams get better and better and how about getting
i9 who's now rebelling back to his old name of Napew onto this roster. A player who has been
not on an island but needs to own him to carry Solzhard but definitely the star player
off the iteration of the roster. Now, what we saw yesterday from them, he has an element that makes
everyone else better rather than being the sole carries sometimes. And honestly, it was a big
reason for how they found that similar victory against Easton. Yeah, that's something like
Napier was known for being a star player a long time ago. He was kind of criticized for being
a little bit of a too much of a risk taker. But these days, I feel like he has evolved a lot
as a player he's also a father now he's you know he's married and sharper have
actually become a very mature team i mean i9 and bgman both 26 years old they've been playing
on this roster well bgman's been playing on this roster for over four years like holis
has been playing on this roster for well over four years he's 27 years old critchey is the young
gun who's only 21 but he's been playing on this team with bgman and like holis for three years
already peeps as well. You know, he's come through this year and been a really solid player.
He's had some highlight moments. I know I'm returning to form. He just feels like he's back on.
It's going to be a good feeling though as well, right? Like when you get into your older years
as a pro player, you're thinking, what's my future going to hold for me? Am I still good
enough? Do I have offers? Like who do I want to play with? What's my dream and my goal?
Because there are definitely players that will go through their entire career thinking,
Oh my god, I wish I could team up with this player, you know, a legendary IGL or a player that I've looked up to for a long time and
Getting this kind of mixed together feels like that could be the case with these players
But of course, there's gonna be the start some of shopper and I have an opponent in 999 which is a very different conversation
These guys are completely green coming from tier 2 into tier 1 and the good old saying from leftovers
They're not supposed to be here, right? We had two orgs dropped out
So in last second notice, we had some challenge teams have to make it back in and that is how these guys they came to be
Yeah, yeah very much so and she but you've probably seen him in the previous photos for not an unease their coach
He's stepping in for staxter. I'm not exactly got a nice mullet. He does. He looks very Aussie. Actually, that's a very Aussie
But yeah, it's
Oh, probably something in for Jade on that.
We'll get confirmation of that in a brief moment, but yeah.
We've seen 9-9-9 play two games so far, and unfortunately they haven't all gone to plan.
Leftovers was their chance to rematch what was the challenger-certed grand final
in the bootcamp community series.
And unfortunately they have quite go the plan.
And they of course also had their game against Waygo, which, yeah, obviously,
it's definitely going to be an easy one.
But now, no no no, I have another chance. It's against another real top team.
Is she gonna, did he cut the mullet? Oh that's a shame.
No!
That's a real shame.
Gone!
That's, that's very sad.
Apparently Jett will go cold into his shield and then, yeah.
Apparently Jett will go cold into his job so he's, uh, he's unfortunately not able to play the match tonight.
Stax is around though, I well thought.
And, uh, yeah.
I saw a screenshot from our admins.
admins. We had some really cute interactions in the chat, you know, because there's so many
Thai players in the server and all of Sharpa Esports and a lot of 999, Niku said the seven
Thai players in here, Fusera plays Bishiba says, you know, two Filipino players is crazy.
And it's true it is like it's been, you know, a long time in the Asia region, we
haven't had any Filipino players represented and then a nice little comment from so
what young up-and-coming tie player who said I watched you guys compete since I was in 7th grade
it is crazy to think now I'm playing against you guys I think that is just awesome and Sheba on
the other side said I've watched you guys since I was I don't know yeah let's get into the map
And so we find out what map we're playing here. Sharpa obviously on the back of the big win on the bank.
That is going to get better now straight away by now. No, no, no. We got a club. Okay.
It's going to be a very good round for Sharpa.
Very good. Yeah, I mean, I'm expecting much like Elabiglian based on this map just a few minutes ago.
Sharpa, you know, the way they're playing, the synergy, the clutchability.
This very much you feel like a convincing victory on paper at least.
least. I'm sure they can show play in the server as well. We did see already in the first playday
Sharpa get a win on Clubhouse against Elevate. A comfortable 1-7-4 as well and we know how strong
Elevate are, how they're just 7-1 day-stars. So this is a real chance for Sharpa to continue
their flawless form across their three games so far, having only dropped four rounds 9-9-9 on
the flip side of that, gunning for their first win in an APL up against players that they
They were watching when they were just young teenagers.
Let's dig into it.
Cobhouse, can 999 come up against the big dogs from Thailand and Sharpa.
Let's find out.
So we're in the first operator ban.
What they're going to be going for.
They're like 999 might just opt for the bandit kaiban, make it simple to get to the first
layer because Sharpa, I'm sure they'll make it difficult otherwise.
It's not often that I feel like high band is a wise choice.
Right now coming from tier 2 with a sub player, their coach, I guess a really high level tier
1 team in domestic play.
You want to simplify the basics, okay?
Meanwhile, Sharper, they can target Benway, but they don't want to play against, but they
think that 9-9-9 are very strong at playing, it's going to be the glass, and it's going
to be the blitz, and that was correct, it's going to be the double Electrobros
there on the side of 9-9-9.
So I quite like this actually.
You're giving yourself a good shot on the attack.
all about can 999 get to the bomb site and like a five versus five or a five versus four because if
they start losing a lot of bodies and operators early in a round they can't go for execute and
individually i think in gun fights are also just not going to be as strong as shopper so very few
ways of winning a round on paper for 999 and utilizing all the strong operator gadgets correctly
is definitely going to be the way forward. Every game that goes by we get a chance to
to see what Sharpa look like as a new unit with Nape U, not even i9 Nape U on the roster.
And we're seeing Lycolas bring the North, Norway.
This is, I'm keen to see what these guys can do with the newest operator, and so will
bring the Blackbeard as he's been wanting to do for a lot of the matches that we've
seen in play.
I saw that in the bootcamp Kiddies series 12 in tier 2.
And now we're seeing it in tier 1, I think so what is going to be for a bit of a rude awakening if he sees that new operator on the other side.
It's the third match we've seen now, nor being brought out.
We've only seen the gadget being utilized successfully, maybe like once.
Because either the enemy doesn't have a shield operator, or they have died quite early to a different operator than nor.
So
To see if like colors can be the difference here also playing in my street
I'm G commando probably goes to play more of an anchoring role by the bomb site rather than going
It's just on for that room at the moment stacks. I don't think detected him yet
Also gonna be constantly second guessing himself about that visual speaking of maybe finds a pic and
Heaps peaks at the perfect time. It really is a bit of a disaster, isn't it for 9993 players drop on that Rome clear
Now BG is looking for the push onto Niku really putting him under the pressure spots in bit of a lot of damage
On from the wall bang. Yeah, I think you're right.
around. What you said earlier I think is very much true, Pengu. Nyan Nyan are gonna struggle
if they can't even deal with this rune game and shop it, just dominate. Every player separated
does a phenomenal job. Yeah and again it's not to be mean right when I say there's maybe like
one way to win here for Nyan Nyan Nyan, utilize an operative gadget, it's just the
reality of the skill. You see the player smiling right now, Shiba who is the fanpoint
that served before right like it's such an honor and a pleasure to be here,
But we also just get to witness exactly how many levels there is to competitive Rainbow Six Siege.
These guys were just in Tier 2 a couple of weeks ago.
Now they're up against Sharper, some legends in the server, and they're getting picked apart
at the first entry of the map.
It's a basement bomb site, but it ends by the CCTV breach.
Again, if Diana and I can get to site with all the operators alive, that's going to be a big win.
And I think for the top 4 attacks with like CCTV and Jim Bombsite,
Because of that direct access, like jumping in the windows, going for the external breach, etc, this is probably going to be their best shot-off around victory, because you can go for a very limited direct attack where you're naturally going to be playing very close together as an attacking team, which means you can force those 2v1 gunfights on towards you.
We only saw 1v1s that round I think and we didn't really get to see the interaction
with Blackbeard getting pressured so he's going to bring it again like I will say you
get a pretty good loadout you've got the secondary shotgun you've got a deployable shield
and while that isn't quite as powerful as people originally thought it does put the
shield on the back foot it makes them stop dead in their tracks they have to
relocate often you can safely remove the gadget from your shield but it slows
down
during the test server you could actually just hop to the north gadget at the
same time as I threw my charge I got a pre-fired but I see a lot there James
he actually like sidestepped it but the north has to be in the middle of the
wall the corners are not exposed so it gets you shoot two noors one left wall one right wall it would cover the whole
it doesn't stall for any time it's trying it again and you actually might get this one maybe
you got it you tricked it through my charge let's go all right that's crazy this is like what
everyone thought no one would be used for when he first was announced and we're testing
He's just like playing Castle, the YMP in Gym Door, just gets one, two, three kills.
Like Colors, the Nine and Thermalchars on a single Convault, and they had Crossfire from Con on to the Office Headstrap as well.
Small victories, big victories, victories, all the less like Sharper just looking phenomenal in the server at the first and the last, but around the...
And I guess the only question that's left remaining for Sharper now is consistency, right?
Right like that is sitting for victory over elevate at a 7-0 versus they start up against 9 9 9 and leftovers the newer teams here into
Into Asia they should have very convincing victories
I guess it really leaves the only question mark is gonna be way
But I mean that honestly I think that is gonna be the level we're talking about are they good enough to take down a
Weibo or they just be good enough to fight for second spot because there's certainly a good enough for second spot right now
Yeah, well the thing is like thankfully it second spot is good enough at the moment
But you're always going for like waybo as well
We spoke to Cooley not long ago from elevate
and he
Very much said that now that they've had their two hard games against sharper and day star
The focus is on figuring out whether they can beat waybo doing everything they can to prepare for that upcoming match
But yeah, I think you need to make sure that you do that
But at the same time don't lose sight of what really matters which is for sharper
It doesn't matter if you lose every single game to weibo if you come second
Then you're gonna make it to the event regardless. I was actually thinking about this earlier today
The standings the global standings for the sixth invitation of 2027 in Brazil
I'm extremely excited for there's time to shape up. You know, we've had
We've had one stage, a second stage, well underway, we've had a major and the eSports world cup which means we've qualified our first team phase plan to the Invitational 27, but we still have our point standings, right?
So the top 16 will get invited to the Invitational and then we'll have them called, but I'm looking at the standings as they currently sit and we've got Enterprise, WABO and CAG.
only three APL teams who are currently in the top 16.
Now, whether they stay there is a different matter,
but who else could potentially contend?
You know, like Daystar and Chiefs D-Post and Sharpa
are the next ones who are close.
But, you know, I have a feeling that like Sharpa
is the most likely to be able to make it.
Unfortunately, Chiefs sit in a unfortunate position
of they didn't get any points
for going to Esports World Cup at all.
They only got points for their position in the regional league because the Esports World Cup itself doesn't give any points, but the Salt Lake City Major and the Sarka Major will both also be giving a side point.
So for example, Daystar got 250 just for going to Salt Lake City, even though they got first-rounded.
I have bad news, James, when it's technical time right now, okay, but I also have good news because we can do a little second thing, okay?
We can play a game of Will They Plotch It?
So, right down here, we're gonna play a clip, we're gonna watch it, we're gonna discuss whether
we think that the person in question is gonna watch it or they're gonna get kicked because
they don't watch it.
Play the first clip!
Oh, I know this clip.
Yeah, we cast this one.
This one we know.
This is, of course, a big one right here.
This is gonna be Aniston, and then 1v5 clutch.
We're starting off easy.
Yeah.
I mean, I know this one, and I know Aniston, and he doesn't mess us up.
You just never kick Aniston.
When you see any of my sure is like he's gonna win it obviously, right? Oh, yeah, and this happened like few weeks ago
So it's very fresh in the mind. Yeah
Look, we all know what's happening here guys. Let's and it's and wins 1v5 ace clutch like
We know what happens. Let's go to the next one. There you go. All right. Here's the next one
Bappin 1v3 against Chiefs. I'm gonna say kick
Yeah, no surely they don't beat this. He did he did get
Oh
Hold up
Hold up if the guy that chases wings is one HP you're string to the right with four seconds
I actually don't know the outcome of this, but it's like it's much point
I'm gonna say kick. I want to say kick. I feel like he actually did win this one though. No, he's kicked
happy about that one. I wonder if... Alright, here we go. Orc and Weibo. Critchey. I think
he wins this. No, that's a kick. It's the big boom. Big boom. Listen. Smoky Cavitile.
Three big booms. Sophia Stunders. No way you win this, right? No way. I don't know why
my memory is telling me that he won this, but like, surely this is unbelievable, especially
with turds down below. You can just wait for like two or three kicks. Oh, fine.
It's way bow kick fine
Long arm I remember this I remember this I should have stuck to my guts. I should have stuck to my guts
I should have stuck to my guts
Yeah, it was so high though that moment. I was actually a really good player in both plays.
What is this? We're looking at a wall. Another chase.
This is the basement of Bang.
Oh, playa. Does he clutch this?
Wait, does he have double shield, solid snake?
Surely not.
Okay, I feel like he does though. But how?
Like, I think he does but I don't know how he does it because it's unwinnable.
I remember Chino.
Didn't play it knows where it was got a big clutch against she wins it. All right, he clutched it. Let's say clutch
I'm standing up
That's one
Innovation
definitely a game. We're about to get back to the game. That was fun. That was fun. Thank you.
We uh, I'm surprised constantly by like how bad my memory is. I feel like I cost it half
the time. I still can't remember. We probably did cancel half those. The odds were definitely
there for it, but it's also there's so much siege and mind you, seeing a two-brow on basement
on bank is like, what did DMR made that? We probably costed like 50 times last stage,
right so I think I did just want to kind of bleed together yeah I agree well we
look like we're back to get back into it
some shoulder pain there she both we need a little massage he looks like he's
in the game at cafe or something VIP yeah yeah he's got an AC that's pretty
good yeah very good I mean well I mean we have a lot of Southeast Asian countries
If you don't have AC, you are struggling.
Very, very hot.
The funny thing about heat, right, is I'm from Denmark, so everything's hot to me.
People go, oh, but you live in Denmark, so it's not actually that warm.
But it's like, comparatively for me, 25 degrees Celsius is extremely warm.
People are like, oh, you're complaining for no reason, but like, but come on.
Yeah, usually heat.
Yeah, look, it's the same with me.
I mean, I'll complain.
Like, we've just been coming through Melbourne winter.
Melbourne is one of the coldest places.
You can play this cold.
It's cold and it's like, you know, five degrees.
Which for you is cold.
Which isn't cold for me.
Exactly.
Oh my God, it's so chilly outside.
It's like big socks in the big day.
How cold is it?
It's like 15 degrees.
My pro, we get minus 10.
What do you mean it's cold?
When my dog is waking me up in the middle of the night
and I have to go downstairs and take her to the toilet
at like three in the morning in my PJs,
it's cold, all right.
It's cold.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm
Thankfully we're in kept one right now with some good gameplay, okay shoppers they're back in the server
They're bringing the heat the Goyo the cap can the explosions of fire from like close and nor once again
Yeah, nor is like what do you say nor is more fire or is Goyo more fire
Nor is like a volcano explosion eruption and Goyo's like I know you open the oven and like
I don't know if fire falls out of it, you know?
If that often happens to you, Pengura, I think you should really get your house checked out.
Okay, imagine, okay, no, no, you know what glue is? You're drilling with a charcoal.
Not the electric electric, like a proper charcoal drill.
And you flip it. That's a glue.
It's like fire on the floor.
Yeah, look, glue is the floor's lava, nor is the wall's lava.
Unless if you're a shield, in this case my arm is lava.
My arm is lava.
We're back into it.
And Sharpa, it's the final round that we get to see on their defense before Nanna Nanna gets a ban.
And I'm very curious. I don't know what they get rid of.
I don't think that we'll get rid of the north.
We're just gonna hear that.
Don't be too tempted.
Doesn't go for it.
He doesn't have any impacts or utility to try and tear this town quickly.
has the problem isn't it? Saksa seems a bit damaged, me too, Peebs, a lot of fire happening, Rips on the barricade
She's been hurt by the player on the rappel, yeah
Should be a free kill surely, if he tries to run out on the Saksa, Saksa should punish him
So he just sits back and waits, a very aggressive play from him there to be at the bottom of the garage
But as Krithje finds one before he's traded on back, and she was also finished like Hollis.
So the Blackbeard is going to be a lot safer this round with the Gnore punished.
Waiting to watch here what's going to happen next, sadly there's going to be no more.
Gnore get to this mentioned, he's got some fire from the Goyupi place most likely.
I don't know, I don't know, internet construction, they got thermite, they got a shield, they got info with the solid snake, that they have the right tools to get the job done here, get the first round victory on the board.
The lagging at backstab has a barricade and CC window is still intact, enabling that chassis position.
But look at the silhouette, Mifu on the roof, he goes towards the breach, all go Garrett's door, and off of the breach it looks like.
And if he gets on that rappel, that could mean that he should be about to happen.
The problem is, the replay is very separated, which means as soon as somebody falls, it changes everything.
Good pre-fire, and Mei here, from so far, but Peeves manages to get back into his position.
Miku also has a Naive, he'll get tossed on out, he'll punish one position.
BG man dies, and the Claymore doesn't see the lasers, he tries to run outside onto that player on the balcony.
Peeves tries to take the fight with Miku, loses it, it's now Naive Q.
In a 1v3, they know exactly where he is, detected outside the building.
Miku takes the fight and loses it to Napew, very sharp shot, but now in the 1v2, up against a Blackbeard in the post-plant, this feels nigh impossible, even for a player as esteemed as Napew.
Good post-plant, so all these kids all over the last victim as well. Oh, he doesn't plan to kill.
kill very close though and good aggressive play from so what he must have
known that Napier got onto the shotgun and so taking the ADS fight was better
big round on the board for 999
they're curious though about the orbiter bands and going forward because
we saw the solid snake that used to create effect but the same thing for the
blackbeards maybe sharper being put into a decision-making spot now which
one is a bigger problem they're already bent away one shield operator
Is it worth going for another one was it better to target the Intel off the southern snake?
It will be the it'll be the ink. No, okay a whole different operator. Meanwhile, hold the phone
Norban
So we're seeing the first nor being played in APL of Asia every single game so far
It has been played at East once and now is being seen target band away by 999 on clubhouse after being played for two rounds
That's wild
Yeah, I also don't think it was particularly impactful
But I think so what just really wants to play that blackbeard and doesn't want to have to worry about the nor the thing is like obviously
People are still figuring out how to play nor but also figuring out how to play against it
And if you're not getting a lot of practice to do that
And you're not getting as a blackbeard player
You're not getting prepared for all these situations that you might be in it once nor has been out for a year
You can sit there and be like no, we know exactly how to deal with that
You know I play it like this because of this
So look I like the idea
We're gonna make use of that black
Sharp still have plenty of other counters
I see three sets of impact grenades and the Ella from EAPS plus also don't just create a howl impactful that
TCSG is from like holis up against a shield if you spot a tiny angle onto the tree
You can really mince those shield plates very quickly
like the Nari I think a very not underrated operator but I think much
like a Samur when she first came into play not fully figured out just get you
know when a Samur first got launched didn't know all the praise to keep us
spots and how to do one-way angles and all these different things I think for
the denier laser it's similar story we're seeing some teams create a crazy
like spider with the denying like every angle in the bomb side but we all
All season times the inability to connect those dots and just being a single a doorway denial is incredibly valuable.
For me, a big impact on this particular bombsite is if you just denari out Moto Hatch.
In the late round there's going to be nothing that the attack can do, but now Sharper actually on for a bit of a run.
The very first round of this game, you know, dominated on that running side.
Now, no, no, no, I'm putting a lot of pressure directly on the objective.
This is gonna be a free kill. No, it won't be free.
So it will find like Colas, but Crit J to trade him back.
That's a worthwhile trade here for Sharper.
Getting rid of that Blackbeard.
No, no, no.
Trying capitalise on that pick by rushing, getting aggressive,
but they are stalled out in blue in one player in dirt tunnel.
So I think that this push has unfortunately lost a bit of steam.
Thing is, right now for Sharper, there might have been three tunnels completely clear,
but we most certainly second attacker are waiting for that backstab.
that that could be the win condition because right now the other members are stuck inside of blue.
It's going to be a kill box with no real ways into the bomb site.
So does Shaba have the correct read? Do they catch the player? That's a push from Dirt Tunnel.
EG finds one, but good picks found by 999. They are really forcing the issue here on blue.
Time to get the bomb site. Naphew has to rotate back to site. He can change
shells and get back into the action. It's just him and Kritchy. Kritch actually has a great
Deployable shield to play aggressively underneath kitchen loses his oh, that's a real punish there and 999 even the scoreboard
With a second round against sharper
Not an easy round to find the double and put the dude on the left second
Grigidna second player in third tunnel did catch them by a surprise or they found a free pick
Then Chrigie wrote you to the back B portion for the shield
But that gives the attackers away in from blue to the third box position
So really well problem solved there. I gotta say and for sharper
I don't know if they're slightly over-complicating these rounds or maybe limit testing trying to see how much they can get away with
But they're not playing conventional usual club paws right now and it could really be why they're struggling with those rounds
Whoa
Well
Yeah
I'd agree. I mean you look at the fact that the kitchen hatch was still solid a lot of
weird stuff about that push, but it worked. It caught Sharpa off guard. They never stopped putting that pressure on.
And yeah, it might have been a very different case had the
Noor been in play because the Blackbeard of Sova wouldn't have been able to take such strong control of the tunnel.
I do feel like Noor is going to be very deadly at holding the tunnel.
We already see people doing it with Goyo, which is what I call is ended up picking anyway.
You can put Goyo in
quite a few different canisters in the tunnel and then suddenly fall back and shoot them and try and take some fights
Maybe use some impacts, but I think the north it does put a hard stop to the black bit
Even Sharper can just
Play a bit more into this strategy rather than just the simple gun fights
And I feel like with this lineup that they have currently that that's going to be that shift, you know
The clash, the thorn, the Wamai
With the Asami, now they can kind of bong it down and create new spots that are going to be protecting their player positions
On the previous two rounds
They've just been like swinging and taking a lot of run-flags, running out Gehra's thorns, easy TV
Picking into blue with like some Gs versus AR and ACOB strokes
So I expected this Shaba to go in. Alright guys, we've had our fun. We've lost two rounds in a row
Let's shop up a bit
Yeah, look Sharper actually went four rounds of defense to only one loss
They won four and we lost a single one against Elevate in the opening playday of APL
So, no no no I've already done better than Elevate managed to on this map against Sharper
So I think that if you're like Hollis and the boys you better look in now
They should be gunning for a 4-2 split. They only managed three rounds of attack against Elevate
This could be a very close game if no no no
I'm going to go now.
These are protectors.
I've been knocked!
Here, the bug is bugging from beneath inside a stock room in an old school style approach
of the clubhouse.
I lied during this step first.
It means that you cannot play on the green box.
You can watch the door open from the bed right now that puts you through the
stuff right here.
But some of the...
I will just shut down, as I say.
It might actually somehow finally come to the clubhouse, but you will not.
Good trade.
BGM strikes back with another.
Yeah, I grew here from Sharpa.
Actually with that Exami, I do wonder if the Norban
apps is costing 9.99 by leaving that Exami in play now 9.
Napier has been afforded the ability to go onto the clash as well,
and this will surely stall out the far less experienced team
in 9.99. A lot of objects, a lot of hard positions to clear,
a lot of protections, a lot of power positions
for sharper to use as they fall on back they can sit in the bombsite pretty safely despite the wall on the bombsite being breached
999 don't have a lot of ways to look for it
No, they don't
This one will be a challenge
You gotta have someone from shop or swing out in a bad manner and then just have the angle ready to get that kill
Right now that community guys who's gonna be able to use sir. Oh, well, I guess I will again then never mind
the day job was also the entry last jump in that basement attack I'm gonna kill
from third tunnel it seems like right now that pressure is on his shoulders again
stacks that jagoosie breach lock in the bombs that rotation a job
jump in me could take an office stacks is taking a lot of damage there from
paper peeps here and probably not be too much never mind that he's ready
for the angle right as the flash tries to come through me cuz the last one
left BG man finds a big round for BG on his army. Big impact and with that
Sharpa retake the lead again trying to humble 999 but there's one round left in
this half and Sharpa really need to win it.
Let's feel that way not desperate but just a matter of being a bit convincing in
the server. We're seeing Crickey and Phenomenal of 3k on the Caster team
kind of with a few bullets in the denarii so consistent is the only thing missing right
now I think then they're gonna be fully there at 100% but for these new teams that's coming
from tier 2 in both leftovers and 999 they've had an incredibly strong start to their debuts
and no like across the board even if 999 aren't finding like victories necessarily
the way we start playing and keeping up with really strong opponents is definitely impressive
They had a one-seeming against Waveboard, hey they got a round, that's not too bad.
They had three rounds against Leftovers, which, you know,
Leftovers said that they expected a new exactly how 9 on 9 play since they played them previously, so like whatever.
And then now they've got two rounds in the first five against Shotgun.
I wouldn't agree with you, Penguin, but it's just like, it is a little bit early to call that.
I feel like, like a one round against Waveboard, three rounds against Leftovers,
and now two rounds against Shotgun.
Look, if this is a set of five, I'll agree with you.
But even if they get 7-2, the fact that they can keep up is the debut season,
that they are completely fresh out of the water.
Look, if the reference is Dolphin and HLT, then yeah, I think that's a pretty good showing,
but I know they seem to be better than this.
And look, the difference between a 2-4 and a 3-3 here is massive.
If 9-9-9 are able to climb down, I would really back them in.
This is a good push, though, for Miku and Sowon on the top floor,
I'm trying to rush down peeps who's been spotted by the drone as well run clearing has been a headache for 999
But sharper assigned to respect them a lot more
Very fast push here on top floor
You said respect fall on back don't come out as well gas pipe careful
You shoot that on me care on me covalent
I want some to it took a lot of damage might even die actually if you need that explosion
But I mean, this is gonna be about the layers, the echo, the mirror windows, the plant denial.
The fact that 999 are so effectively room clearing is a really good sign, because that means you're gonna have a bit of time left on the clock to get all the hatches open and sign to conjure up what their attacking approach is going to be.
And you're right, there might be a bit of impact trick in the middle of the kitchen hatch, but here's the banana.
We can use two-week sky rows at a time and easily burn away as many impacts as humanly possible.
It's not a time delay, isn't it?
The only reason it's a cost question is it's worth the impact grenades in the bioweapon
for about 20 seconds at most against the bioweapon.
It depends, because Sharper have actually bought a lot of time on that roam clear.
For the 21st of 1999, they've done a lot of hard breaching,
but they haven't really shown a clear way where they get an extra kill on the side.
As you said, there are a lot of layers for Sharper defense.
Ooh, a lot of damage there.
And I think that Selma, near stall, perhaps wasn't even thrown in the end.
in the end.
NAPEW's in such a good position here, and if he falls, that would be one of the first
Jomonos, but sadly for 999, NAPEW finds the timing and the angle against Stax that's
so what, not able to help him in time, and now this attack is looking much more sketchy.
Yes.
It's still waiting in low, you've got the capitol by the blue hatch, you've got
player even to drop up more than a point of view all the way to one and attack from every angle
perfect c4 as well from maybe you could see he was waiting to do that for the whole round here
comes the Hibana, he could actually get the fight and kill for a blue very deep in,
peeps lashes out aggressively sharper look to try and come back and close up this half in
style it is a dominant defense of the basement for sharper as we head to the halftime vibe check
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
Well, that was the magical timeout that we were all waiting for, wasn't it?
That was a half-time vibe check.
Do you know what the vibes were for checks? Can we just check in, Panky?
What do you think?
The vibes were goofy. They were very goofy, but it was actually a request that the Mandel could say
because someone got caught in a crossfire and twitch chat
and got accidentally banned.
You're going to ban someone else, I suppose.
And the person when they got unbanned said,
you know what, make it up to me
by playing a goofy song on their playlist.
So to that twitch chatter, there you go.
That was our goofy song.
That's very valid.
Look, fair enough, honestly.
Fair enough.
I wish I got banned next time that I could use the song.
You know?
What would you pick?
What song would you pick?
There's one absolute...
Honestly?
Yeah, we heard it this morning, right?
When we're doing the rehearsal.
I'm not sure what it's called either, but it could be a playlist.
The ad, honestly.
Playerbanger.
Playerbanger.
Look, the team-win music, even the map-flatching music.
Ah, that slaps.
We like that.
When we got a few bangers stored up, we're just waiting.
What about the right timing? Like most things in life, it comes down to timing.
All good things come in time, as I say.
For example, Chopper's chance to return to the international stage.
That feels like it's been a while. It feels like it's been a long time.
Is it going to be this stage? I don't know. Remains to be seen.
No, I saw it's been a good times. I saw during the
much
It's called the campfire chat like little little ever sit down at sea chat
Mention how in year 12 to come back to releasing four operators in a year
That's a good time
I'm not thinking how can we release for in a year because it's like such a much nowadays
Yeah, I mean what did we really get one new operator this year like isn't nor the only new
We've had reworks outside of that. I'm actually getting someone
We had
Something coming next season
We have season one blackbeard. No
No
I'm thinking as well
Anyway
I was actually quite a nice c4 over the top of this little solid snake my guy
what do you know of course okay so two to two new operators this year yeah
Staxter, he has to try to take that fight but he baits Critchey into Jail
which is a pretty big pick to find the second one now for 999 and make that
Three shopper looking very rough in this opening to their attacking side. They keep feeding bodies
Stax has got to decide is he retreat back to the bottom side. He's gonna do it
Okay, one more though me co looking for it each make you both on HP
dropped on the hatch and escape actually nine-on-nine
And then, solidating, getting very smart and passive in this battle, but getting that significant understanding.
How long does it take to continue fighting that?
I don't know how that happened.
Keep in mind, Staxters, the spare shell is still upstairs. It was never actually destroyed.
this is not gonna be an easy end round here for shop almost impossible
just over as we say
oh yeah
say oh there's a nice skin I got there let's go look at that
off of this is that a threat
what what what happens next is that a request is that a threat could take
please tell me
I want Miku to win this round with two impactor and eight kills.
Oh nice, almost lands the position there to enable people to get back a little bit.
This is killing Sheba, almost a pick for Meku who just continues being taken down more and more.
I shot from Peebs but Miku is there with the 9x19 to find both kills.
It's not with the impact but it's with the gun regardless.
regardless, 999. Looking pretty solid in their first defensive round. A roam clear that was
unsuccessful for Sharper and 999, having the ability to fall back and fortify their positions.
Very nice.
Very good start, very confidence inspiring and would you look at that, you get a third
round. It's not going to be a 7-2 loss, they're building the last 7-5 that you
asked for James. They're building the...
I would be very impressed.
Apparently everyone watching loves that halftime 5 check music.
Apparently everybody does.
You guys can request as much as you want.
The only reason why we listen to chat in the first place is because somebody got accidentally banned.
That hadn't happened. We had never played that song.
What do you think about this song, Chad? The technical time-out.
This is a bummer. This is fine. This is good.
Every good streamer knows, a chat shouldn't always have their way, anyone can tell us.
What if we make the song on the soundtrack, or the textual timeout, like get me on the
drums, you'll get the guitar, and then we can make the APL song like the APL tactical
time out soundtrack. It could be fun, it could be content. There's no singing, I think that's
sticking to the fire. I feel like we should just leave it to the professionals. Leave
it to the professionals. Somehow, someway, we have become the professionals. I don't
know when it comes to the music. I feel like we should probably leave that production team
on me. They seem to be just going stride for stride, getting back after banging.
think our production team can change that?
That's a great question.
I actually don't know.
Can we make a band at the production team?
I'm not sure who's in the studio today, but uh,
surely, I feel like we surely got enough for a band.
Oh wow, apparently I'll replay up like three instruments.
Which instruments can you play?
Please tell me so I can tell our lovely viewers.
Of course, I guess you're not at the same time.
Piano is on there.
Drum, bass, and guitar.
Hell yeah, that's awesome.
Okay, we can we can definitely build something here. I I have been playing base
I I I don't think I really can play base, but I do play base
For my
Has EPs, you know, it's not even mine. Actually, it's my friends. I just borrow it
And I don't even like we go to rehearse we rehearse like every few months and I do not touch the base
But oh, that's rough base is
The Bm to the basses out there but like look to pay like really well
Yeah, like to play like good enough, but it sounds fine. It's wow
It's I feel like we could make a little bet
I wish sometimes that when I was younger that I had the courage to pursue an instrument because I was too shy to play in front of others
We just kind of required if you go to lessons where you get taught how to play
Well the thing for me that really did it was just having a piano in the house
growing up like this old hundred year old rich growing up oh vintage like a
hundred year old like crappy piano that's out of tune I grew up with one of
those in the in the house and I had one until a few years ago but I sadly don't
have one now so I'm kind of safe up. The thing about living in the apartment is the
is that it's quite tricky to get like a drum set or a piano because you have neighbors and they will not be happy with it.
I was learning drums a couple of years ago and I actually bought a drum kit, but I bought a trick drum kit.
And I didn't have that in my apartment. It was not a lot of space, but I actually have a slightly bigger room now.
I could potentially fit, but I've got a space for a piano picked out.
The hard part is that I live on the third floor of the apartment building.
Get the crane
Crane rib out the wall and just deliver the piano and put the wall back in if you can find me a crane sponsor that will do it for exposure then
Pay you in a content piece how about that?
Now look, I think you could play the triangle have you ever played the triangle man just like a little I have played the triangle
I had to hit it one time at a very specific timing. That was it every band needs a good
I'll not learn like a cello cello cello cello
Cello or violin. I have again obsession with cello sounding all right, so I'm violin
I I recommend to learn the cello not the violin and it's it's
I've I've learned the violin when I was a kid a couple of years is like one of the hardest instruments to learn
Cello is slightly ever bad
Everyone is bad at violin for a minimum of five years. That's how
5 years!
Cello is a little bit easier because you think about it, like if you play guitar, there are
frets on the guitar which means that you just have to kind of be close enough to the fret
and it'll be in chin, the string will be in the correct note.
If you play a fretless instrument like a cello or violin, your finger has to be in
the exact right spot and if you have big fat fingers like me, even just rolling your
finger slightly left or right changes the note more quietly on the violin.
a bit more forgiving but you should do it pick it up give it a go we'll we'll be
sick as if we could recreate the number six si thing you on the cello we'll get
our production team on the drums I can play the bass or whatever we'll make
it work I think we could actually desert you plays drums and so yes so
this fluke. Yeah I was gonna say Emmy also plays drums. Yeah, guitarists. Yeah, yeah.
We could definitely get a Rambo 6 band going.
I linked you to my favorite cello main piece in this group. This is like my inspiration.
I wish this was fucking right for me, I'm going to show it to you guys.
Yeah, no, it is, it is like, I can't say the word, it is a goosebump worthy, it's something I'm going to go with.
It's such a good sound.
I do love cello, like any TV theme or movie theme that has a cello in it, like an instant movie one of those.
Like the Game of Thrones theme, dang.
Yeah, Twitch chat is plotting against us, I just saw.
We have to buy it against the casters, and so they play our whimsy once again.
It's cool, I'll just accidentally ban me and play that last fanger once more.
Why did we create a monster?
They don't want it back.
All right.
Ah, well, the producer said you can't have it.
I'm sorry, guys.
We talked to Mr Ubisoft, John Ubisoft at the top.
He said you can't have it.
Instead we're gonna fight again.
Nice.
1-4.
9-9-9 looking pretty good like we saw.
Getting the third round on the board.
And only one away now from tying up to a 4-4.
Which, honestly, it's like on its own.
I think very impressive, even if you don't think it's impressive, James.
If they get 5 pounds, I'll be very impressed.
That's the thing.
Big chopper? I was just like throwing my hits at the wall, you're like, why are you
doing that?
That's not, no, let's not do that. Let's, let's if you need a hatch, let's not do
the hatch again.
I'm a bit hungry.
It's getting to that state. I need a launch of fingers on point as well.
Two PM.
Two PM.
Three PM.
Three 12.
Ooh, three PM.
I feel like we start later this stage. Not sure if there's a time zone change
or something like that but starting at like uh like mid day for me it's a later than i
don't know it is kind of nice in that regard yeah you have like the perfect
workouts by the way to be like that i'm it's not stop comparing as the
comparison is if evil joy we have we have pretty worse period
I
Mean we get the pleasure of watching these teams go ahead to head and I'm looking to talent come up from the challenge circuit
J.M. I was glazing your team my guy
That's so well. I don't know what it was he trying to shoot like
You started laughing after so hopefully no till just bit of whimsical activities in the server
They can make it up! Just gotta get a kill or two.
It's been nothing if not whimsical today, you know what I mean?
I call a stake into the ground with the Monty.
That's not a no, I need to be bringing the, uh,
noir themselves to try and counter that montane.
That's like my favorite hiding spot in the game.
Like, not like hiding, hiding, but you stand up,
bow, you get a kill.
I think the info has been had from BGM on Toshiba, unfortunately, so what on 1HP, hold
down the floor on the bomb site while Niko looks to try and peek on outside, maybe he
Sit there and waits for him to peek into his line of sight 1v3 now 999 have been pushing them closely, but sharper
Playing this so perfectly BG will finish him off. It's a fifth round on the board for sharper as they get their first attack round
But unfortunate there a team kill it happens Shiba has been turned sideways
And he's frozen. We have lost Shiba on the player camps unfortunately
But 9 on 9 looking good or the wise and they will call it a typical timeout
That's why we're seeing them that makes a lot of sense actually
They can talk through the weaknesses and they can apologize formally in that TGO
Yeah there it is yep i'm sorry
Back timeout how tactical is this timeout i wonder
Well i'm sure
This defense the first question is what bombsite do you go to church Arsenal still locked?
So you could retry gym bedroom or you could go to cash cc or if you want to be really crazy you could go bar
That's the
Yeah, you'd love to see that would you bar against them like hold some money
Yeah
I'm not sure what happened. Maybe we're shooting the items on the table to get like the head
angle, like the little sandbags where they are?
Yeah, I know where it is.
No, he's not recovering from that one any time he sets the cap.
We're back into the game and 999, they looked good on their attacking side. They
They won those two rounds, they found their first round of defense.
Now we go to Cache CCTV, Sharpa, looked to try and stick that Monty.
No Nore has been picked by 999, no real hard counters to that shield.
This is a deadly looking Miner, the Capitata Clear Rafters, the Rayora as well could
get just in front of Gemma.
Activating camera!
I'm ready to light.
Just having a way of looking for drones downstairs.
You can't be out there running!
That camera is being positioned by a CCTV for vertical C4 later on,
which there are three in pocket right now.
Swapping man!
And an extension.
Playing master bedroom, holding construction.
If she's the option of a late round flank,
if she bay isn't contested here by bathroom.
Now just gotta see if Shava will go for a contest on the roam clear or go for a garros
attack.
We know like you mentioned we're already being introduced here, they could just go main breach,
close off the top red wall and push into the bottom side of the very past one here
and then garros at the same time, yep.
Alright, critchey!
Can't find the second one though, could swing from Mika with the MPX.
And so the raror will go down, but meanwhile Lypolis is looking to take rafters on the
Bonsi he's still gonna be contesting with Jeya who believes is on the rampage indeed as the
Util needs to be burned here come the EMPs that destroys the last of the magnets the fire comes
out will it kill this as army player or at least buy enough space for Lycolus to try and take
the gunfight and so as of yet the Nates will need to come through here to put some extra
pressure on and allow Lycolas to take that ABS fight.
Meanwhile though, with Miki overextending, he goes down.
This mage should surely be it.
J.U.V. desperately just needs to try and find one kill with him.
He does!
That's the kill!
Onto Lycolas!
There's no way that the Monty should be losing that.
Now the diffuser is in J.U.V's clutches
and Sharper all out of grenades.
Finally the kill comes from Pipes.
J.U.V will fall.
so much plantarile steel here available from the two remaining of 999.
For the two business defenders to have standing smoke and seafoar on the muke.
On the other side of the attack they got smoke grenades that can cut off the
angles pushing through the bomb site and actually also perfectly here.
The walls are double reinforced in calligraphers but they have
fair mites with spare charges and pockets.
They can open up the wall, take the first step, seafoar tossed it out by the window,
it clips it, and a wall bang from peeps gets to find a little kill.
A good effort there from the defense but sharper. They did manage the proper solve that calock after his position in the end
Yeah, nice finish there for sharper
Credits a 999 the battle in the mid-round was actually pretty good
Particularly with those were my magnets and j up on the rafters, but
Sharp would just seem to find kills out of nowhere
Final operator band comes through and for 999 you gotta say it needs to be that Montaigne this well, okay
Hey, Blitz?
Blitz, you been?
Not what I expected.
No, I mean, why are you not gonna get rid of that Monty?
I think the Azami is a great pick, yeah, for Sharper.
It makes every bomb site more playable,
but Blitz, man, you gonna give like,
Polis, Monty, and Blackbeard?
Leave the shields open, they nor, boom, mind blown.
Look, that's an idea.
Silence is deafening. Okay, nice. That's an idea. I don't know. I just think that like holis do be
Doing some work
No, no, no, I'm using to play that no
game
Basement defense was very rock solid though mostly because they won the Rome game
Same way this time it looks like they'll change things up. They obviously don't have the asami
available anymore they've elected to get rid of the Skopos and the Mollusia
they brought last time as well bringing quite a few new ops very much
different I wonder if that suggests that they'll be roaming a little bit less
I'm curious to shopper though because last round they circumvented the entire
setup of masquerade, drew him the Valkyrem's vertical supportive setup
But going for direct attack, it does feel like Sharper is choosing the path of Least Resistance, which for this round
could be something like Bird Tunnel plus Kitchen, it could become obviously full run clear, it could be like Blue Window down the staircase, they've got options.
I'm seeing both like Hollis and Kritchin down the Blue Window, they might just try and jump on in.
Oh, the Flash landed, but yeah, everyone.
So, oh well, paid from Lycolas and the pre-fire, and that's a good part of J.
Great start to the round for Sharpa. Fortunately for 9-9-9, even though they've had some good
moments in this game, the momentum has been firmly wrenched out of their hands and now
sits with Sharpa. If Staxter has a big impact on the
on the kitchen before he falls back then maybe there's Jets?
He's doing that pretty shit though.
Booyah 5 being popped right on the bottom side, got their internal entrance here, the ram boogie
drones up above and all defenders now falling back for the bombs.
Actually no, I'm an liar.
There's two roamers though.
Shiba is still on the top floor, Miku is in far by the stage, this leaves the
bomb side very vulnerable.
If Shabber had a drone somewhere, they'd hear the sound cue of the members up
above.
Let's go 5x2 on site.
I shot down the Staxter.
Sto Sheba is at large on that run, but Maeku is looking for a flank.
You're too successful though, where she goes off at last second and then comes back around.
Good shot, but BG man finds so one of the trains.
Sheba back to site finally, but a 1v4.
He has a nitro in pocket, he needs to deny this plan.
He is team alive in the match like Hollis though, not looking for the plan instead.
He looks for the kill and he'll find it.
It's a 7-3 win for Sharpa and while there were a few moments of struggle, they recompose
and with that they will take a convincing 3 points out of their match today against
9-9-9.
Very well.
Very good.
It did give up the 3 round count so technically you can see that 9-9-9 lead better than they
started if you want to go into the specifics of that.
But expected outcome, Sharpa winning, Dairon looking, I was going to say better and
are every match, but every match that you see from them they are matching the expectations of how
good they actually are, and makes me more and more excited for the eventual Weibo vs Sheperd matchup.
Yeah, very much so. I mean, Sharpa, they did play Weibo in the grand final in stage one that
match for the Osaka Major, they lost 7-1-7-1, so they need to step up in a big way in order to be
competitive with the top dog in the region, but at the moment their form looks like it
might be good enough for a top two finish. They just need to keep it up. And unfortunately for
no no no of course they were playing with the sub today but they gave it their all. Three rounds
is respectable but likely want to be gunning for a little bit more than that in future.
As for the sharper conversation where does that leave them right? Next game is against Dolphin
then you've got Wayboad then you've got leftovers and closing it up with Fury. I feel like
we're just kind of taking for granted the moment that Sharper will likely make it to the
top four and go into the playoffs. Exactly right mentioned like you know
9-9 getting three rounds with it with a soft win the 1 and 8 like no no shape
of she but I'm so thankful that they had a 5-man roster feel for this matchup but
it does to the question mark of what if they had all five player games could they
have gotten a push to throw to like a 7-5 like you mentioned because that was
certainly close to Gaps just a little bit more and that's the big
which might that I feel like is left after this match.
Yeah, maybe, maybe.
I think it remains to be seen for 999.
They still have a lot of games ahead of them.
I'm looking forward to Elevate next week,
Daystar, Fury, and then on their final playday, Dolphin.
Of course, there's a lot of time to warm up before Fury and Dolphin,
which are, in theory, the most winnable games.
So a lot to work on.
I think a lot to take away from this game as well.
Moving the conversation back to Sharper, though.
I think like Hollis and the boys have done a lot of work.
I'm really interested to see that they were the first team to really lean into that Norpic, however.
And they've brought in quite a few rounds, so we didn't really see it have a huge impact.
Clearly, they are one of the few teams that wants to bring it in.
Also, it's been the way against them.
I feel like they played it.
It was been the way we saw the Walden Alley, it's a very mild charge,
and it did also hinder the shields in terms of where they could be taken from.
I love when teams bring out a new operator and just try giving it a presence essentially.
Because often when a new map or a new operator comes down to, someone's got to do it first
and others will then follow. So it kind of speeds up the pace of how could an operator
can go to the mid-time.
Yeah, very much so. Look, there's been a lot of hype behind Nor. He's been paced out
for a long time by Ubisoft. Don't worry guys, a shield counter is coming. But recently
people have been a lot less excited for him ever since that nerf came through. But despite that
Lycolas brought it anyway, let's have a chat to the man himself from Sharpa after their win.
Congrats on your win. Before we start, I'm just going to say I promise we will let you speak
today. We're going to give you all the time that you could possibly want, my friend.
congrats on your
Productions messing with you
Congrats on the win today like holis 7 3
None of them put up a decent fight, but you guys really locked in how do you feel like the match went today?
We feel like it's
It's all way the same for me
um
for today it's kind of
We
We thought about it, we didn't talk much about it today.
We really wish we'd easily win it in a bit of struggle in between,
but the problem was later we were out in the attack.
Okay, after having played against 9-9 and maybe even watching left-levers games as well,
how do you feel about the new teams that have joined Asia here in APL?
Do you feel like they are better than you expected?
Are you excited about how good they might be?
Are you looking at some of the players thinking these guys might be really good?
What's been the take there?
I think it's because it's a qualifier from good camps.
So the overall quality is kind of better than challenger series at the beginning of the year.
Because like this year we need three teams joining in the league.
One is us and the other two is like Dauphin and Psyche.
Unfortunately, Choco left and Psyche is banned.
So only Dauphin left.
I would say the weakest team right now is Dauphin
and Levo and 99, Clutty.
Overall, I think it's better than Dauphin at this point.
So I'm happy with how they performed.
I would say they performed like what we expect them
to do as like some of the level they should be able to, yeah.
So I would say it's just like whatever it is,
I really don't care about them that much, yeah.
But they're doing pretty good, yeah.
Nice.
All right, like all this,
well, I'd love to give you the mic
and say whatever you will.
Of course, you're a professional.
You've been doing this for such a long time.
you know you've been playing this game at a tier one level for like eight years now
I've been casting you so you're a very familiar face and now we're
wrapping the Sharpa brand so the mic is yours very sorry for today but I'm
really tired so I'm gonna wrap up this really quick yeah bye bye for the day
um hope to win next week thank you like all this take care get some well
and rests and we'll see you very soon. That wraps up Sharper and 999. There's one match still to go,
the best team in the region. Weiber gaming going up against an old foe in Fury who tried to hold a
candle to the greats. That match is coming up after this book.
For me, I wouldn't want to retire until I've won an international trophy.
Obviously, an ESI would be top tier, but I'd be happy with a major, but in saying that if
I won the very next major, I'd still want to keep going and win more trophies.
I wouldn't force myself to retire unless I win something big, because I think that
the people that I'm teaming with now and myself as a player, I think that if anyone
can do it from APAC, I think we have the potential to. I'm 21 now and when I think about my future,
I want to be a world champion in Siege. I think that careers in eSports don't last very long.
You know, a lot of people retire before they even hit the prime age of their life. You know,
a lot of people retire before they're even 25, before they're even 23. Being 21 now, I think
that I still have a few good years left in me. I haven't even thought about retirement once.
For me at the moment, I want to go as long as I physically can, you know, if the accolades
and trophies come with it then I'd be happy to. I think that after I finish my time playing
and I physically cannot play anymore, I would either want to try my hand at coaching. I think
it's something that I'm not sure if I'd be good at but I definitely have a passion for
like teaching other people what I know and instilling a system that I would want to
play in. Either that or go down the line of like some sort of content creation. Mostly
staying within the gaming space and probably within C as well because that's where you
You know, I have my community, I have a following.
For me, there's a few things.
I can content creation, I can kinda still scratch
my competitive itch, whether it be like co-streaming games
or grinding ranked.
I started from grinding ranked
without the leaderboards.
Content creation for me, that's almost the same.
It's like going back to my roots.
I really enjoy the community to get out of content creation.
I was streaming for probably a year and a half
in the middle of like the bleed era
and I built up a really nice community of like people
And I haven't streamed in like a year.
I still have that community.
They still talk, and my Discord and my Twitter community
and stuff like that.
So building a community of people that can support me
and support each other, talk to each other.
I think that's a different awesome part of content creation.
I like the idea of being a celebrity, basically.
The first time I signed an autograph
was in DreamHack Japan in 2023.
I had like 200 followers on Twitter or something.
So I was nowhere near like a celebrity status.
But I remember like a fan or something,
probably someone I smashed and ranked at some point.
They came up to me and asked for an autograph
and I had the biggest smile on my face
but I was trying to hold it down.
So I looked like an idiot.
I was like half smiling and half trying to be serious.
Someone got a photo of it as well.
I'm one of the photographers.
And I saved that photo and I looked back at it sometime
and it just brings me to the biggest smile.
The spotlight is definitely somewhere I like to be.
My girlfriend says I'm a narcissist.
I don't really know what that means,
but like being a star of the show,
my girlfriend's helped me in many ways,
like emotionally, financially as well.
Like I said, you know, when I first started playing,
I wasn't really making much money.
So she was helping me heaps like on that end.
She would even help me with like ideas
for like content creation and stuff like that.
I always talk to her about everything
like related to my job.
So she helps me make like important decisions
You know just helps me think and be a calm presence in my life
So I have a lot to her in terms of like where I am now
She's a big part of my life having a support network of friends family
Fans just having people to rely on and fall back on it puts me in a calm state of mind
So that when I'm working when I'm playing at events stuff like that
I'm
completely focused on the game because I know that if anything goes wrong I have people to talk to and
I have people I can rely on which is the most important thing for me.
I've been carrying this door inside for me
And now the cost can be stronger like the home finally
Here comes the
I
Didn't think I could change like the weight on my shoulders was part of me
I've got no time left to waste
Cause my heart flees to wait in a rounded corner
As the world opens up in the hearts of the poor and shy
Here comes the high
I
We're back into it for our
final game of the day.
There's one team that we're always keeping an eye on, we're always waiting, we're always looking in the wings.
And that's Fiora. No, it's Weibo, of course.
Weibo Gaming, top 8 at the Esports World Cup.
They won this region a second spot for the Osaka Major, and they're playing right now against Fiora.
Thank you. At the moment, the way we see it with the two spots up for grabs is
we pretty much take the ground and the Weibo is going to take one of them.
It's more a question of what can they do with it once they get to the Osaka Major?
What they can do with it.
So you're saying that it's a bad spell?
How far they can go?
How far they can get?
You know, Terzda said earlier that he actually wants to win an international
in tournament, preferably an SI.
You settle for a major.
I'm all right, buddy.
How about you make me follow the story?
I think you'll settle.
I think of Labour win the Osaka Major.
They're not being like, all right, guys.
Good job.
Let's pack it up.
Call it a day.
I think they're gonna say, we want this, we can win it.
I mean, it's been a long time for anti-Hobby's team, it's your one ecosystem and for the
last couple of years now we've been saying that oh this could be the moment where like
you're freaking top four, maybe make a grand finals, obviously the real grand finals, you
did see CG make it all the way in there, but then there was a case of like oh Mickey
Mouse tournament, it didn't count, and then now we got a re-earned spot again
And for some reason, right, label, they're definitely the team that we're looking at
for the last or two years now saying, these guys are the real deal, they're making international
tournaments all the freaking time, every single time, and they're starting to break in the
top eight, top six category consistently as well.
Yeah, absolutely.
And we've heard a lot of professionalism from Speakeasy and the boys, and this is
just such a well-regimented team with Gohan behind them.
I also just realized, since the addition of Gotti, now they have five players
players from five different nationalities, which is very cool.
You've got Reeds from China, Turd from New Zealand,
Speakeasy from Singapore, Holmen from Indonesia,
and Gati from Korea.
Also a truly all APAC roster, because they have players
who are from every single sub-region of APAC,
Gati being from APAC, not Turd being from Oceania,
and the other three being from,
so I mean, even Reeds from China as well.
I'm technically not exactly very cool to see
our Weber really representing the best of the region.
But of course, on the flip side of that is an organization that has been in the scene in APAC for an extremely long time.
And that's Fury. They've been fielding at Ty Roster for a very long time.
But of course, at the start of this year, four of the five players that have represented Fury for such a long time
departed, being just dark, remaining, Mark recently coming on board as well from that old Soulsheart roster.
with Labrin who went to the 6th invitation for the 1v1 tournament this is
On paper actually forming up to be a pretty strong team. We just haven't really seen them show that at least not at stage 2
No, not yet. A bit of a bumpy start here
I mean there has been the sympathy victory over Doc in eSports and that's like given right it's supposed to beat that
Maybe even better than a 7-3 and then a 2-7 loss to elevate and now we find themselves here against the Wave
So I think your theory from a mental perspective is you guys gonna have a rough start the season
I'm facing the best teams first, right? It's okay to lose and then we got to see how strong we can get
It's actually after Wable because the real matter for these guys is gonna end up being guys, you know, you're a day star
And you're sharper at the end of the stage. That's really gonna make a break your position at the end of this
After this game, next play Daystar, then Leftovers, then 9-9-9, and then Sharp, I think that if Fury
means you can be Leftovers and 9-9-9, that would be fantastic.
If they can actually be Daystar, which is looking very winnable right now,
with the form of Daystar being winning one out of the last two games,
then I'll be in a relation of huge fury.
Of course there's a lot on the line in terms of SI's points,
and prize money here in the age league, let alone those spots in the excitement major.
Let's dig into the map, see where we'll be heading tonight.
So far we've seen Waybo play Fortress and Lair. We actually saw Villa picked out by Fury.
Is it going to be Lair? It will indeed. So Waybo go back to back after 7-1 being Dolphin
in their last match. They make their way back there again, this time Fury up on the chopping block.
Yeah, again this happens every single stage for Waybo by the way. They will put the same
maps as much as humanly possible to hide stuff in the BO3s, they know that they're so good
that they can show the same map five times in a row, and we still win it the sixth time
as well. Fingal is in stage one, they play in Shelly like four times. It's a very smart
move from Unweibo, almost ashamed that more teams don't try and force them onto new
territory to weaken them for playoffs. Yeah, sure, sure.
What was the speakeasy? If anyone dares to take us to Villa we'd be happy to play him, but we'll never want to ban him.
I guess it's not speakeasy doing the vetoes, it'll be good fun.
Also, the speakeasy just plays what he's told.
But yeah, look for Fury, what's the win here?
I mean, not literally a win, obviously. I'm really wondering what you're going to do.
But what is realistic here for Fury?
We've broken three rounds, three rounds, four rounds, so far the best getting team has gotten. That's way better. It's just a single round.
What if you win? What if you slap down seven, two-way the game?
Yeah, that would be cute.
Then we take the headset and throw it against the wall. That's what we do.
Yeah, I'd be amazed to see it.
I'd love to see if you come in with that level of game, but we might have to wait for them to play again today.
It's all like 90% of speed against two kills on a game they win. It's like yeah, okay, fair enough
If we both exist, yeah, we both slept at all the night before they will win
They have five players in the server. They have an 89% chance of winning in a 7-2 or better
Well, they're two games so far but seven ones exactly
Their last two maps played in stage one will also 7-1-7-1 in the grand final against Hawkead.
There's some crazy score lines and it's funny when you go to the international tournament, you go to Osaka Major
and you pull up the stats, you're in an endless segment before the game goes live
and you're seeing other teams with like plus 20 and like plus 5 in 3.
Wave was like, plus 65 for ribs, plus 29 on entry, 7-20,000 plants.
implants like they have crazy stats because about if at least they can deal
with their positions in domestic play and it just looks insane if you don't
like read into why the stats are though third has died four times so far this
stage and two maps by the way do what Gotti has died five times what the
stats are pretty insane reaches only died six times as an entry
Colvin has died 7 and Speekies has died 10. How do you have such a bad son?
Speekies has died in 10 of the 14 rounds of that play.
I mean, he's trolling. He's literally annoying trying, I think.
If he's not playing, he should operate. Speekies, he's actually giving 100%.
He's on Kali right now. He's like, guys, they buffed the Kali.
I wanna play the new weapons, go!
Labyrinth, he's full tech.
Yeah, he is.
Look, Labyrinth is known for doing things a little bit differently, but, uh, ACS 12 seems to be better now.
I'll take credit for that being too special.
So, Reap's going downstairs with a Zofo, and I'm going to get a few kills.
Not a lot of sound, but I'm on the server for Fury to understand where that push will happen from.
Lair works in a relatively simple fashion.
Either go for a backtake or a frontal attack, and you pretty much always get the external wall leading to the bomb site,
regardless of which take you go forth or so that acts that potential and pumps up pressure
with this floor is thrown popping in the back portion that could be a sign that hey guys they
actually do care about the back the way they're just saying things up no real intrigue just
droning scouting for instance i think they're trying to figure out what's going to be the least
or the path of these resistance oh wow that was a really smart play the fact that there was
already somebody ready to take those fights, Hoven preparing with the DMR as the
flora is drawn to flush at that position.
Hover is getting way below a free kill.
Smoke solo and healthy, can't take any gunfights, now just take the cap away.
Caniky gets the open kill though, Hoven goes down, cap it down, no more fire.
Sophia big booms below, just needs to sign that it's time to go.
Is he playing by the desk?
Yes he is.
Very neat. Nice kill there for Reep's labyrinth showing that unfortunately that power position from Azami is not quite as powerful as it used to be.
Standoff.
Oh, well on HP, right? It is a bit of a standoff.
That's some flashbangs.
Why do you just wait?
Hopefully, gonna peek it dry.
Wins the fight! He only had to land a single bullet after Al Dini was low from earlier, but that's still impressive.
Now Fury really under the puck and he goes down.
Dark is just on the sliver of HP.
Finished off by Turd.
A triple kill on the round for the Kiwi Mark in a 1v4.
RRW.
Squalping in hand.
And it's free.
Waybo can look to the front.
So you're gonna dance with a pipe.
Yeah.
Well, I was trying to push for Reeves.
One does not simply take the fight to Reeves.
And Waybo seemed to kick off the first round curse.
They've got that off their shoulders.
They've won the first round of the game, but they couldn't get the 7-0 yesterday, the 7-0 has eluded them recently.
It is crazy how that's like an actual stat line, like we're expecting a team to just 7-0, like, I don't know, 90% of teams in a domestic region, but it is the reality because they are that good.
Alright, well let me read you off in order the results from stage 1.
in stage 1. 7-1, 7-0, 7-3, 7-4, 7-0, 7-1, 7-3, and then in stage finals it was 7-3, 7-1,
5-7, actually lost a map to Daystar, the only map that lost is all year, locally, domestically,
the only map that lost all year. 5-7, and then 7-2, 7-3, 7-1, 7-1, and then so far
instead she was 7-1-7-1 like this it is ridiculous like it has to be the highest
round difference we have ever seen from a single game in a year.
I think so as well. I mean you can argue that there's maybe a downside to being that
dominant where you know you go attack here and layer you get like a five one
a half right when the following two rounds of defense you never got to
practice a third bomb site like you do you only play puffle and basement and
that's it so what that means is you gotta really do a good job when you're
actually screaming matches in between pro league games because you're not
going to get as many rounds on the board and play out the bombs sincerely
because you're so dominant and that's obviously about the discipline to work
ethic and putting it a hundred percent every single day not just doing the
actual pro league matches and that's often gonna be a struggle to use in
the APEG is that you don't have the highest quality scrim partners
Sarely big easy churning again goes down early this time on the twitch unfortunately no much extra in action for him
Yeah, pop
I think a single ago your fire can start earlier. So some value was happy for it went down, but not ideal starting off will be five
These rounds doesn't need to feed. Well, it's gonna be a free beat
That's one from turn didn't even need to use his gadget
It takes a lot of damage by refusing to answer the phone.
There you go, payload from Reapst goes out.
The CD-Send here from Reapst still on the bulk would be, I guess, if the top is dead,
huh?
Well, yeah.
The CD-Send here is very fun.
It lost 10 bullets, and it lost 10 damage, I think it was, but I'm still seeing
tons of people play it but look if you're good now see 75 actually has a very high
damage this gun so it's a bit weird that the inside with the other side
except simply good if they added like a red dot scope like it less peaceful it
actually might be a very good gun we wouldn't know if you haven't tried that
before but look with people are running black bead iron sights really people can
get used to see 75 iron sights oh so there's a different iron sights though
mp7 and bandit has been a thing for a long long time
he differnt in the amount of visibility
ericsson no mad naeana
yeah
sorry there
there should be a wallbang here
nope
we're just running through the lab
we're just everywhere right now
we're in the verd
the hatch
the door barricade
the main hallway
we're in fireprop
it could do it as well
christmas wine and pocket
this could be a tough visual waybo
we're gonna have to go for kills
20 seconds to go, there's not a lot of time for this to work for me, I might have had
that pick, I should have continued, but I need a lot more than that, gonna be a desperate
jump from Terce, and he needs someone to distract, Holland literally just down to the
pistol, Terce that still wins the fight despite being held, looks for the second but gets
Ponnish holland with nothing with the pistol finds nothing at all mark finishes off the round with a big two-piece and fury responding kind to weibo I
Mean that's a very good round of a few to get opening pig
They burned down that clock
They don't actually get exposed to all the different angles you can get pushed from and you know
There was a gap there in the locker door where a member jumped in from way bow
There's a grisp of mine at grisp of mine
So not leaving anything for free
I know it all yeah, I feel like that round is ended up being a little bit too slow
Attackers need to locate the enemy
Yeah, I mean speaking to dying early, I think it does tell you three or four drones and
you lose one of your your map takers
Yeah, and even though they still refight, pretty surely after the lack of twitch drones
meant that they didn't have enough time to scout the side of you, you had Echo,
Goyo and Dinaria actually, there's four operators that are very well counted by the Twitch.
Perhaps as well, Hovind didn't have enough help on the Verts, which is why he ended up
not getting any kills and using all of his ammo out of his primary.
Yeah, I think they're just a little bit too caught up in the thick of it.
They're a bit of a good team, they're not getting complacent even when they dominate,
so I don't want that to settle in at any point.
I'm really interested to know who Weber Scrimm, I would just love to see a list of their Scrimm partners
Because it must be so hard for this region to find really like top level competition because these guys want to be competing with teams like
FaZe Clan, DarkZero, Virtus Pro, the best teams in the world
I think we reported my little key
Well, you used to Scrimm QC Talon, I can tell you that much
They're very strong in Scrimms
yeah it's like it's grim so uh a lot of APEC north and oceanic teams yeah
we're gonna stream across the it's a bit of a ping diff but you gotta do it
just like we round the really surely not that APEC north
not that north but north or oce you know
also fourth game of the day fourth game of nor being part of these ones so uh
Here in Asia after he's not like a quarantined the presence rate is getting up there
And also I think for the elder as well with a shield brought here by way by though
I guess it can be used to deny an entry into that door though if you just shoot it onto the doorway it might delay a bit of time
Also speaking to was
shown like it early but went off of it because it saw world in me sir nor or because he's wanted to
get the event gadgetry and then here could be difficult for weibo i mean ideally when i clear
up the player by the bottom side if the yin and the sense in the mix of it all i'm just like throw
all the util in and plant in the location but then their sources find it so it triggered to
get that initial hold and got two thousand yinx and now that plant might be dead yeah and dark
Mark has a feeling that he's being chased down by Turd and wins the fight with the SMG-11.
That's a big moment here.
Fury are really putting a seriously good fight against Waybo.
This is the most that Waybo has been pushed in this region for a very long time.
The last four maps that Waybo has played in domestic Asia play have been seven ones.
Fury are on the verge of finding a second round.
Kaneki finds a big pick.
There'll be a trade here from Speakeasy, but it doesn't matter.
trade back if they wanted but speaking is in oven to the full
having to take the top floor damage from hold on to Roldini but the trade comes
through immediately and fury find a second round way bow on the the trot here
fury really taking a fight to them and doing a great job of not doing too many
things in the server again opening big twice in a row they consolidate the
play strong, good player positions. The player by the bottom side isn't swinging anything,
just afk in the middle staying alive because that gives the more breathing room, the roamers
up above. In the doing good job of playing the one-mind to support the player by the bottom
side, we saw Dark felt that presence of, I think I'm being hunted downstairs, goes
through a very convincing Godfight swing and wins his individual fight as well. Fury
are doing a whole lot in the server, but it's because they don't have to. They
keep finding an advantage and just holding on to that, Waybo's got to be better in the
first like minute and 30 seconds of a round to get back into this on the attack inside.
It's up to Waybo to make an adjustment because Fury are playing great Siege.
Yeah, this is a lot more of a locked in Fury than we've seen from in the past.
We all knew that Mark with his experience would be a good addition to the roster.
We also having had a little chance to speak to some of the support staff from Fury,
we knew that moving to a high-speaking coach would have helped out as well, like a little
swap-a-roo that they did, between the assistant coach and the main coach, Manny Gainian, swap.
I don't know exactly what terms they use, whether it's assistant coach, coach, head
coach, analyst or whatever, but the one who's giving the tactical time-outs and being
the primary voice for Fury, now speaks time, whereas a person like this, which is a huge
help, I'm sure, but they've been working with between stages.
A lot of people were very critical of this roster when they lost, like, Polis and the
Polk with that OG squad that really gave Fury a name, but to their credit, they've
actually built a pretty formidable roster.
experience and getting more time together, take a couple of stages, hopefully maybe possibly
get some international experience at some point as well.
It's always a challenge about different teams qualified, like like, stage type of a major
alongside Wable and then maybe like now Hero do it for example, it's like you're taking
turns you get in that one international trip whereas you go back to your
Wable making every event, Fnatic back in the old days making every event, CAG making every event
that really is the best way to do it because then you take one team that
learns a lot continuously internationally and you bring your learnings back to the
risk to play now you gotta share it with the rest of the class right and
make the entire region better
Wevers doing everything they can to make the entire solo.
Doesn't want to reveal the sound of the rip.
Wevers do the best thing that they can to make the entire region better, which is to bring that second stuff to Asia back.
Yeah.
Reeps with the SMG9, great little secondary from Kali there.
I love seeing the Kali play here from Weber.
I mean, I just said this before.
I love Kali.
Right off, right off.
Really happy to hear about the recent buffs.
recent buffs I think she's going to be tuned into a very good position where she won't be too powerful
but she'll be just useful enough and very deadly in the right hands.
Other surprising that it's going to be Reeves playing the card though because if anybody
sneezes or just moves a little bit and shakes his desk and mouse mat he's going to take that
sniper into the sky so it's a very uh that'd be very accurate but somehow despite Reeves playing
a crazy fast sensitivity. It doesn't shake ever when you spit to the other clearcams or
just guilty.
Dark and the Pindle spot wins this fight against Hovvind. No real support here. Speedy as he
tries to come in and he actually, I don't know how he's so smart.
He gets the angle onto Dark and Gossy will confirm that plan.
Radio now into the posts. Numbers advantage. Great shot there from Reeps. Love to
to see this I mean how on earth could you possibly lose this fight with the
Kali sniper rifle full force. Roldini goes for the run out that was fine
turdster. 2v3 on this retake as Kaneki makes his way forward but of course
Roldini is gonna have to battle with Reeps on the off angle sniper but as
soon as he misses one shot he is vulnerable. Roldini the last one
standing with Reeps on the floor but he doesn't have much time here and
and there's an upside down repel from Speakeasy, plus the long angle from Gossy who will find the kill
Weibo back onto it again to tie up the score. It is one of those rounds where if the bomb goes down
or you're winning it, you can be on the roof, you can be outside, you can play skybridge,
like that is so unwinnable as a defending member. A very good plan spot as well from Weibo.
They don't go for a default plan spot, they go for it on the breeze like we saw there at
the end, kind of simplifying the process. It wasn't the best start to the execute with
Hobbit going down in Capitao without using the last bit of fire or smoke as a glass operator,
but everything else worked out fine. Yeah, Fury got a couple of kills in the backstep
by the bathroom window and they even took down Reeves instead of Upstream,
but that doesn't matter because look at that, it's about the Gotti and the glass on the
rappel, that's the real threat. They are staring down at the fusel.
And now they go down to the basement again for Fury, this is where they won that first
round on the board.
And really the problem was Weber took way too long of course, it was a pick on to speak
easy at the start of the round, but aside from that, Wayne had just spent way too long
trying to make that, oh that's unfortunate.
This should be a rebound though I believe, it's disconnected in the prep phase, the
tech was called immediately and we should be able to get him back into the
server in a brief moment but thankfully pingu this is a chance to just listen to
some more goofy vibe in music is a young lady goofy tunes give us the
goofy isn't what's in life a production I mean this one's a bang up
There we go.
Oh, this isn't even good, it's just a bang.
Jazz tunes? Jazz vibes?
I'm telling you.
Don't you like jazz?
I like jazz.
Oh yeah.
Oh man, it's not just jazz.
It's got this little wop wop wop wop wop.
That looks like a toy.
like the mental skin from Red Bulls Magic
how do you look jazzy?
we should do a Rambus inside
are you dragging?
or are you rushing?
you've seen that right?
I think you're rushing, yeah
we'll blast the lava maybe
I mean, will we?
I should go to the movie
That was only the first movie I saw with Miles Teller.
I was as far as it was in there, I think so too, isn't it?
A young Miles Teller.
A very different vibe to the Top Gun Miles Teller.
I'm having a look right now if I have seen him as something most prior.
I think that must have been his breakout movie, because that was a, I think so.
That was like a, originally, I had a fun bit of trivia for you, a bit much trivia.
Do you know what originally that movie was a short film?
Yes, I did.
Have you seen the short film? I think you can spy on YouTube.
I don't think I have, but I've heard about it.
It's worth watching. It's kind of just one scene from the movie.
And they show it, and it's got... What's the name of the guy who plays the...
Old man?
Ooh, it's a fantastic actor.
It's the Spider-Man news guys.
Yeah, the Spider-Man.
Which is the Spider-Man.
Um, fantastic actor.
Um, it's him, but it's not Miles Teller.
It's before they brought Miles Teller on board.
And yeah, yeah, it's a very good people have no idea what we're talking about
Watch it. Yeah, what's them something since AK Simmons AK Simmons
If you haven't seen whiplash definitely like top five movieable
It's more or less he's like great god movie
He was in a couple like one episode of TV show when some movies that I have no idea what they are and then he was in
Whiplash and then after that it was a lot of movies
You know another great movie about jazz, I think.
It's called Green Mile?
Very famous, very critically acclaimed, very popular movie, which heavily features jazz.
Oh, I don't know what it is.
Oh, I saw that recently.
It's such a good movie, also genuinely one of the best movies I've seen.
Oh, it's called Green Book.
Green Book.
Yeah.
You should watch the Green Book, it has jazz in it.
It's about the driver of the jazz musician.
That's the very simplistic concept of this movie.
What's your favorite movie of all time?
That's a hard one.
Same with food, depends on the day, the mood, the vibe.
What's your favorite food?
The mothering trilogy will never fail to deliver.
Valid, valid. Yeah, I need to go.
I'm due for a re-watch, I think.
I got the extended.
I did once a year, you know.
When I flew home from New Zealand's slagist trailer last time,
I actually watched it on the way home.
That's awesome, except kind of sad that you're watching it on a tiny little screen on the...
Yeah, but I watched it after going to Hobbiton, so like come on, like it makes up for it.
When I went to New Zealand when I was a teenager, we did a road trip with my family and my
sister and I would take turns reading the Hobbit book in the car, like two, two, three,
and that was, that was such a vibe.
Reading.
Yep.
Yep.
I've heard of that.
I read the Twilight books when they first came out and I was still amazed by them.
I read those books as well.
Did you?
In grade five I read all of them.
I never watched all the movies though.
Oh well.
I know we could do the next land.
We could go soccer together hopefully.
We could watch them play in my hotel room.
Yeah.
There's no time like the price and we gotta catch up.
Amazing.
I love it.
Let's do it.
It's a deal.
Who are we?
Let's do it. It's a deal.
Who will we invite?
We're going to make it to a Scythe.
Whoever qualifies, may share both teams.
We'll invite them to the series of watching all the movies.
It'll be a lot of sessions.
My favourite movie of all time is the Six Invitational 2018 Aftermovie.
My favourite movie of all time.
Aftermovie specifically of it?
Oh no, I was just gonna say fucking movie, it's not gonna be fun at all, okay that wasn't funny at all.
I don't think we have enough movie for the event, that's why I'm surprised you said it.
There probably was, like a highlighter, I guess.
There's one from Brazil, that's what they say.
There's like a documentary? Yeah, I still haven't watched all of that.
Ah, there is enough movie, I had it.
Let's play it for you.
No mind, anyway, back to the game.
We have Reeps on the fire in our warehouse,
but he's also shooting back onto lepros, doing a bit of damage.
Then...
He's came for it. Look at him go.
He's never a few bullets his way, or the impact comes out.
But look at the way he dodges behind the pillar to protect himself.
He wants to try and take the fight.
This thing about labor, and I play all that grief, it just puts so much pressure here on Fury.
Fury even if he's not getting the kill the fact that he survived and taken this
space is of massive value to the roster.
Speeky's a little enemy of a hard time in this game so far. We had to reset up
the storyline because the rehost but he wasn't having the best time in terms of
the kills versus death ratio. Auburn though finds a kill on Tkineke on the
door of Rocket. He's also the main lobby so now Fury has less guns towards
the same amount of angles, meaning a gap would be here somewhere on the side and a trade-back
between Gatsy and Garg means he's a dial-off for B3.
Let me get detected by the Solid Snake and it's immediately looking around for him.
Where is he?
He's coming for me.
I know he is.
Reeps finds him.
Rodini and Barken now in a very tough spot.
Reeps though low on HP so it's been easy.
This is winnable in theory but Terz just says get out of my way I'm going to run
him down with the F2.
Wabo are looking much hotter now. They've taken the lead back again. They want to finish this game swiftly
Yeah, they do and I think they also felt feel the pressure maybe I'm not sure they are on the rest of it in theory
But I think they have been challenged more than they expected in those first couple of rounds
So it was shift instead of going for a full roam clear and taking a lot of different fights around the building
It is today a simple take from warehouse with one guy watching the flank and then he's kind of played nice and slow
and inching towards the bomb site.
When the satisfying a couple of kills
in the capitals created, that's when they spit up.
So a good look from Waybo,
now go towards the tertiary bomb site.
Again, and we're once again seeing Roldini on the door,
just for the sight.
Attackers have discovered the location of a bomb.
I'm seeing a lot of movie recommendations in the chat.
Wow, I haven't seen any of these.
Big mama's house too, what is that?
What is?
I don't think we can talk about that kind of movie on the past.
No, no, it's not what you think. It's not what you think.
It's a comedy. It's a comedy.
And I think I've seen...
I might have seen this, actually.
I mean, I've heard from every man. I haven't seen that one.
A couple of ones on here.
I don't know.
It's an angry man.
What about this year? What's the best movie you've watched this year?
Thank you.
Uh...
I think I should have an answer.
Uh...
I've seen two movies.
I saw Spider-Man, but that wasn't the best.
Oh, really? I hope you don't.
I'll get back to you.
I watched an unexpectedly good movie. It was a horror movie I watched.
Oh, really good.
Project Hail Mary.
Oh, OK. Fantastic.
Maybe of the decade. I think it's in the top 10 of the decade.
So good.
I would have thought you'd said the Odyssey. I know you love it.
Maze, maze, maze.
Oh, did he stop there too? Did he stop there this year?
is the round is here
I'm trying to really in for a second thank you for your time
back in back in
Oven, nook, sneaking down the hallway
first that scanning for him
no genres
no visuals so you guys clear intel
there's no trickery, no anime
I will just promise
I was going to take you to speaking, the anime christmas show off
it's a real clear, god to get to kill
Fniki went from getting the open kill first two rounds in a row and out of being the open death two rounds in a row.
All of them making his way full with GMR in hand and he finds the backstab onto Labyrinth.
Poor Fury just getting completely picked apart. Turns the only one is full and it's Mark alone on the bomb site.
Everybody else fought the fight upstairs and died doing so.
Now the new kid for fury
Goal is experience on souls hot and previous iterations of that roster
That's the final one before against the best team in a pack and I'm gonna tell you right now
Stuck in a corner hoping for a single a swing, but they're droning the bunny side end up. Hmm. Where's he hiding? There he is
It's not gonna do up the green stairs or down the hallway. He goes down the hallway
I don't think he did.
Oh, we both really not allowing this one to slip by.
No, they're not.
They are playing this like their life depends on a gossy forcing that plant down.
It's somebody watching Mark's way back towards the bomb site.
He's barricaded up.
Prefire through the wall.
Did Reeps even know where he was?
I don't think he did.
Quick prefire.
Wave-o gaming.
Lock in the 4-2 split at the end of the first half.
It's time, Pengu, to listen to some vibes.
vibes at the halftime vibe check.
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I would say that song is such a banger and then it hits with the, how is it a banger
and goofy at the same time?
I don't know man.
You know a good mix you know?
You know everything but it provides a bit of spice.
Hmm.
Personally in the pitch for you.
So I'd get a team at, where's your team Jacob you know?
That's all I'm gonna say. Team Edward, are you kidding me?
How does he know that he's my goat, dude? He's so good.
He is awesome, actually. I have a lot of respect for that guy.
He was really, really good in the Odyssey.
He's so hateful.
And these beggars out of here.
It's a generational meme now.
Yeah, absolutely generational.
Have you seen the lighthouse?
Lighthouse, no, is that a you're not a real fan? Oh my god doesn't know about him in it
Yeah, it's him and a willow to fall and I could like a white movie scene clips from that
It is crazy
Do you like willow's a great need to watch that have you ever thought that willow defers name kind of sounds like
Frog talking to a bird
I've heard people say that he's more like William the friend because he's such a nice guy
and he's called William the foal which is kind of a shill
I mean I figured it was too good to be original but I know it's still good
Alright, Wabo on defense now, is this where they just run through Furious?
Is this where Furious is?
Alright, you guys have had your fun, you got two rounds, well that's it.
Kill him down more to like 3s, we let you to attack while Wabo's going to defend obviously.
They can get to an intricate state here if Furious is playable, but that early aggression,
lashing out, first look at the kill, got to looking for kills, that's the scary
part for me.
Nobody's here. Lock down the clash a bit more in terms of how much they can reach into the space.
And even got some feet as well, so they've got counters.
Yeah.
New Jammer's worked very well for DERDS to try to prevent that room clear downstairs.
It's slowing Roldini down, although he would love to get in position underneath the bomb site
to try and kill that clash, or perhaps one of the other anchors.
And why do I just sit back in the raiding looking to try and stall out the ops take?
Not gonna fight for their lives
There's one
And there is two booms three booms doesn't do any damage sadly
Look credit to him that is a nice way to quickly clear all the bad batteries
But the fact that I haven't found that angle is huge
Now we go up one player fury running out of ideas
I have one single air jet left so they can already clear the desk and lock the clash
and push it on forward so I think if Hobbin and Gachi works together by the bombsite
we're re-hoping the staircase with smoke like pushing forward here should be almost impossible
with Fury.
I was either gonna meet the clash, the smoke talks like babes, or how would all the
math has ever seen before.
Oh my god, 10 seconds!
Yeah he did. That's goodbye to Mark and Labyrinth both. That's a massive C4 for
Webo and now Koniki and Dark are in a very crappy position. I think they're
going to double peek it. If Speakey is he interst, they'll both peek at the same time. Surely that's a free kill.
Well, Overn's the one that steals it. I believe he ran out the breach. Now Koniki is in a 1v4.
Don't fall us round for way both
All right one by one feed him never mark there won't even lose a single player in doing so reaps finds the kill
five to lead now for Waybo and
It may well be the defense is where they cruise this to a finish
it is a classic case of you know webo they will get you know the three four
rounds of attack whatever which is like very challenging but then they go on to
defense they'll just like sound like they can go flawless so effortlessly
because it looks like because it's so hard to attack against them
attack time I call by theory phenomenal we'll get in the mix of things
talk to the boys okay this is what we're gonna change this we're gonna be
doing watch out for the aggression watch out for the first step go into
solo plays, remember to take in space upstairs, make sure we get a drone beneath to like protect
the vertical C4, because that's where the round wins, you won't have it, right? That novel kill from
third star is sealed to the open. And they're gonna need this, but I wanna guess in the area,
also play on the attacking side, you can pretty much guess it's probably gonna be a basement
defense, that's a poopy middle floor, it's like the tactical timeout on the flipside for
I think they're just chilling having a laugh. It's very rare you get to see rakes and turd cracker smile
But they're just having a good time
And why wouldn't you be when you're dominating like this?
Easy as I
Love when they go hunting well
I'm not gonna wait here for two full minutes and bring down a time and a win in the clock
But we're gonna go hunting for the kill and speed up the pace here
So, I've looked on Twitter, apparently all of the Thai players that were sniffing some
time, it's some kind of terrible inhalant.
Apparently it's becoming a bigger and bigger thing in tech, I mean it's like a Thai Tekken
player from Twitch that I was mentioned, and you know how I joke to you that we have
like the nose strips for like a month where everyone was playing with an EML and API
So for that now we got the herbal tea or herbal herbal and he's also will sniffing so it's herbal inhalant
What's your pasta mater like what's your you have a herbal inhalant you have a nose strip I
Feel like I'm used to be
Parker always took with him is
Kind of black tea and it lubricates your throat almost like you're drinking oil and
It helps you just talk for an extended period of time if you got
Yeah, well, you know
It's one of those but it used to bring into every single land event
We're working like three to two hours and I feel like we haven't seen or heard of that
What's the time now?
Almost like we're starting to take care of our voices
You know my matter I'm I'm on the bread of plain bread. Yes, you're the bread every broadcast plain bread and water
What's the can like can I get some bread?
Not needed I eat France. I will say it you can't all how long reaps what a flick through the wall
And I mean we've been needed it after they lost to those players on that road
You've got to keep fighting it. Surely not. Nice shot there from Mark. Quick reaction times on the bash and now Wayboat may well
be about to lose their third round of the game. Unless if Hoven and Speakeasy can step up
They're a quiet turn now. If you don't want to throw anything away so they're droning, they're checking, they're soliciting scanning
And I think they're looking for Stevie to just run straight towards his direction.
He's going to use the logic they brought on back.
Well, Dini is slow on HP though, so I would say winnable for wave, but I don't find the
kill sooner.
There it is.
Very winnable.
And they find a second.
And the third!
Okay.
A 2v4 through a 2v1.
A capitulation for Fury.
The last thing they needed.
The last thing on the tattoo list.
Labyrinth in a 1v2. He's the 1v1 specialist.
An all-1v2 specialist it seems as he runs straight into the crossfire.
That's going to be a tough pill to swallow for Fury, losing the four versus two.
And a little smile for Weibo. Almost unsurprising that they won that really with how their form is at the moment.
It's a fifth round in a row and now match point.
Chance to finish it off.
It's kind of a shame, such a good round in so many different areas and then at the very
talent there, they get a little bit too complacent.
Well, Dean walking around while he's trying to chase Speedyto's in a second, he just
dies for nothing.
Right after they jump in the warehouse, Breach put out a drone and I almost in front of
the breach, you didn't even get to vault on in.
So they must have thought it was clear and just get caught by a kid's surprise.
I waved with the stairs to enter the church, Sherry.
They do not bring in the wharf.
that they bring out the clash to be even more annoying towards the opponent.
Because clash is probably the most unfun operator brought against as an attacker.
I think the clash is going to be a very tough thing to deal with for Fury.
If you want to use that black beard and speak uses in the right position, it's a problem.
I don't have so, I don't have Kali, you have no clear counter to that clash, you know Thatcher even, what are you gonna do?
I would have loved to see a Thatcher brought here and what people say, whoa, why there's the Kaid ban, you know, ban in lane play,
but you can counter, not only the clash, you can actually counter a lot of this utility, in fact every single gadget here from the reason most importantly reaps.
Oh, turrets that goes for a very aggressive peek here, as soon as the
The doorway starts to get shot down dark, gets in for a real surprise.
Reef wants to do something very similar here, but he has been joined.
Reef, I could get a free kill here for Mark, but Reef's sprint's pasta only takes a bit of damage.
Missed opportunity, could have punched with all ones, then grenade, then shoot,
and maybe get a kill. Mark now low HP and stands in the opposite room,
impact going into him, but... Reef's in the ship at the location.
There was one missus, and we'll be looking towards the main staircase.
Here we have Tag and Top Floor find Himmley though.
But he don't want to stare at Kagan howl.
He knew that we just down stairs.
Back for Reeps as well. Guarantees that he will get the kill.
On to Mark the impact and the SMG-11 to follow up.
He is single handedly held on to that Top Floor.
Roldini and Kaneki.
Oh my god that is so close to finding Kaneki as well.
Who is still waiting inside bathroom. Reeps has the perfect game sense.
So much so that he's almost getting a wall bang kill.
Kaneki needs to be careful. Honestly, another pre-firing. I reckon he wins it.
Kurt is waiting. It's a bait, but Kurt's the will-fight-and-kill. All up to Rolvini.
It's going to be the end of the line here for Fury. They might have found two rounds off of
Weibo, but you cannot stop Reeves when he's on fire like that. 7-2 in the books for Weibo.
Okay, not their best result, but with how that game ended, I think they would be more than
that they're taking. 7-2, not their best result, but nothing. Yeah, okay. You know,
expectations are so high for these guys, they have fun for one round too many,
it's like, ah man, are they throwing, are they not trying? They lost two rounds,
maybe should have lost the third, but they, they reeled the back end, they got very serious,
and they locked it down and said, you know what, places end it right here, right here.
Look, I will say credit to Fury today, similar to what you were saying about the 9-9-9 game.
Even though this was a dominant scoreline, Fury actually had some good rounds here.
And look, they could have very well, probably should have very well won a third round,
just a round to go after that, or 4v2, 5v3, whatever it was, that was advantage.
And that's unfortunately a curse that seems to be playing a lot of these teams at the moment.
Losing advantages, losing numbers, advantage.
But for Wayvo, at the end of the day, a few mistakes, nothing to worry about.
Business as usual.
And I think that is difficult because when you play against most teams in Asia
You can get away with making a couple mistakes in a forward tune
You still win the round but you make a tiny mistake against Wable
They will make that 2v4 against them into a run victory
So it's just a rare case of we have to be perfect from the beginning of the run all the way till the end because otherwise
Wable they will punish us. Yeah, and hey, no donuts on the fury side and also Kaneki got three opening kills
he did opening death twice as well but for a player that is making their debut into APL in this stage
it's always hard to have the confidence to go for aggressive plays like that so I love to see
he did have the most deaths in the game but let's just gloss over that and focus on the fact that he
was all on the truck when they came to the aggression on the flip side of that way the
business as usual like I said Reeks inter leading the way in the frag and department
and uh yeah look speak easy only died three times so he's helping his stats as well
He died three times, so I think two of them was the opening death as well, so he spent a little bit of time on drones and calling from player POVs, but he's still, as you said, like, good in three, in spite of having a cauldron, so he didn't really stay alive for very long, so for no one of the jobs would be easy as always.
I like that. I thought you were doing like a little look him through the, I don't know what that is, but it's giving me, no, it's giving him a little bit of pain.
Oh no, I love that. Let's have a look at how the games went tonight, because to be honest, Pengu, a few one-sided matches that I thought would be a little bit, yeah.
We had an OT banger kick off the night, and then surprisingly one-sided matches. I think, obviously, Leftover's Dolphin, I thought that was going to be, you know, 7-3 or better in favour of Leftover's.
that Dolphin had two match points in that game, surprised me a lot. But the big disappointment
of the night, I mean really was Daystar yet again, two new games in a row and they've only found one
round between them, Elevate looking in great form but what the hell's going on with Daystar?
It's a big question and honestly I said it going to today's matchups.
They are searching out for Daystar, seeing they can flip it into a better match result.
I will continue to watch Daystar in the future play this because I'm starting to get a little
a little bit worried, a little bit concerned for them.
It must be a bigger issue at hand
than just having a bad day, you know, a one-off.
Yeah, and when they start struggling,
it opens the gates to Sharper
to be that potential number two team in the region.
But of course, we know who the number one is.
It's Weibo and Speak Easy is on the line
after the win tonight.
Speak Easy, in bats.
There he is.
I mean, basically live here
in the interview box at the moment
with how much we get to talk to you.
It's a real pleasure, as always.
I wanted to mix things up today
Because obviously, 7172, I wanna ask you firstly,
what's something that you think nobody watching right now
would know about you that is interesting enough
to tell the viewers about you?
Nobody, wait, it's something that no one knows about me.
Something that nobody would know about you?
Like, can you surprise us?
Can you surprise the viewers?
I'm sorry to disappoint, but it's nothing like cool,
like I mean, I enjoy riding a bike, so previously,
I wrote Dugali Panigali Wanwan Nanai
If you for those who understand the Superbike
Yeah, like it's a good bike
I think that's about it
Like I like I'm into bikes
I like that sort of stuff
And yeah, I think
Yeah, that's it
It's a fun fact
Oh yeah, not bad
When you guys won today, James said
Oh, you know, it wasn't the best game for Weybull
It was a 7-2 victory
They lost two rounds
Did it feel like you guys were a little bit caught by surprise by theory?
Did they play better than you expected?
Or did you guys have a slow start because I think in previous interviews you have said before
that sometimes you guys start a little bit slow in the server.
I think it's more of a slow start, like again that it kind of creeps into our game there.
I made the first two rounds, they were playing quite aggro, like they were picking out some windows,
they're playing fearless which is good for them, but after two rounds, we just adapted it and
and yeah maybe they just call me like look this is how they're going to play if they want to win
they have to do things like this yeah we just come there and yeah easy piece um
out of the game for a second again i want to ask you about what it's like playing
with playbo on a week-to-week basis you know you are from singapore but you guys at the
moment you're in is in bandung where you guys are at the moment yeah the boys is in bandung
I'm going to join them a week or like
Also, you're you're not in with the rest of the team right now. No, no, no. I'm back home. Oh
Right, okay. Cool. Yeah, I wanted to understand like how does that work with the squad like obviously you'd spend a lot of time away from home
There's events boot camps and even during the regular stage you guys are playing from the facilities at bad doing
So a lot of time away from home that must be
It's kind of hard for you like having a relationship with your loved ones and having hobbies and having a place to cool your own. What's that like?
I mean it's definitely quite not too worst experience but it's quite creating that. I mean we're just stuck in a house.
I mean not necessarily stuck but we are in a house most of the time you know. I'm screaming, we eat there, we make our food there, we sleep there.
And once in a while when we're all in Bandung, we just go to the mall and have some sightseeing
that's all.
But definitely it really helps about the team bonding like having a team and you guys live
together there's nothing to do but talk to each other and you know talk about siege.
So there's pros and cons about the teamhouse.
So for my experience it's in the pro side for teams to have the teamhouse and stuff
like that.
What's the best thing that you do with the team that's not seed related or not game related at all?
The best thing I was surprised at was this one time where I think it was last stage one after the group stage.
We all went out for bowling and I'm gonna ask you guys, who do you guys think scored the highest points in bowling?
I'm gonna say is it like a quiet achievement like Gossy or something like that?
No, I get more students.
He's smash boat.
He's smash boat, yeah.
And for a person that says that he doesn't,
bowls a lot.
This guy can bowl there.
This guy can do a lot.
I love that.
He can bowl, he can clutch up,
he can play in the games like crazy.
This guy is insane.
I'm gonna have my surprises.
Yeah, yeah.
Alright, thank you so much, Big Easy.
You've got a couple more games in the group stage
before we get to stage finals.
I'm sure we'll talk to you next week.
Until then, enjoy some time off.
Alright, thank you guys, thank ya.
See ya mate.
Ah, I love that. Always a pleasure.
I feel like, because, you know, we're at the point now with WayBerber, we talk to them so often,
and there's only so many times you can ask, you know,
what was it like to 7-2 another team in the Asia League?
I kinda just wanna take the chance to get to those Tiki's and get to know WayBerber as a squad,
because it is a lifestyle, like, separate.
WayBerber have quite a separate situation to all the other teams here.
Like, they've played with the same players for a long time.
They have so much support from the Weibo organization, it would be a very different life, it's kind
of like the Rockstar lifestyle for them, but it also comes with these challenges as well
as the nuts invention.
Chad, I just saw Chad said, ask me to film how unbranded that have been, if we had
actually asked him that question as much as we could.
I was actually thinking that, but I was wondering if it was a little bit too casual.
Guys, everyone watching right now, next time we interview SpeakEasy, I'm gonna ask you a question.
And yeah, you guys should tell us your interview questions in the chat.
It was a great day of games. I think the MVP though really was on the elevator. It was Scatman.
He was informed today. He was really on a heater in those power positions in a really important game against Daystar as well.
the newly elevate branded Scatman, it was playing his best game.
I mean, the reason why Elevator won as a dominant visitor, as comfortable as it did,
was I think Scatman won 3 or 4 rounds, not single-handedly,
but he got like a 2 or a 3k to really solidify it.
We saw there the clash, trading for the final kill,
because they're defending to get their own victory here against the 5th of the Capitao.
This team in the winnable spot as well,
time is really much lower. You're in bar, I think we'll find two kills or three kills
around. Like he was just in the right spot at the right time. Pretty much everything around.
Yeah, yeah, phenomenal job. He's one of those players that even if he's not top right, which
he was in this case, even if he's not getting entries, which sometimes he does, he's just
one of those players it's so frustrating to play against because even if you've got in
cornered, he's up back against the wall. He's still gonna find one, two, three kills.
he's still gonna clutch up against you. Of course that caps off Asia for today, but
stage two is in full swing. NAL is up next in about three hours time. So if you guys are watching
and it's not the middle of the night for you like it is for me, watch NAL. We've already seen one
playday and we've seen some upsets. I mean DZ and MA losing their first games. They were against
I think there's a lot still to play for in the NAL, especially with the Ryzer teams like DZ and Wildcard.
The stories are flowing and I personally am very excited to see what Outlast can do with their haphazard, funny little nostalgic roster,
whether they can keep up their form.
But of course, that finishes it up for APL tonight.
We'll be back for more APL before you know it.
it until then go watch some NAL and enjoy stage 2. Thanks for watching and see you next time.
I'm in the pattern
Like words and I'm part of the way
I move
Move to you
It's a nice to make it matter
Look at me differently from what I'm used
Used to
I'm gonna start going as quiet as tonight
Then when I was good, I'd stand here
Straight in the lost side of town
I've been carrying the stone inside from the east
And now the push can't be stronger
Like the wind by your ear
Here comes the
I didn't think I could change, like the weight on my shoulders was part of me.
So I had to find an escape
But now I feel like it's right in there for me
I see the life you can do in the class disappear
Now it's burnin' and gone
I've got no time left to waste
There's more life that's still waitin' around the corner
As the wind opens up
And the light starts to plug inside
Here comes the high
