Hello everyone, this is the APL mode Marikus!
You're a sucker major, Takoyaki Kurok.
Tails, you excited?
Hey...
I'll see you again.
I'll see you when I get back.
I'll see you in Osaka Major.
I'll see you in Osaka Major.
I'll see you in Osaka Major.
I'll see you in Osaka Major.
Osaka Major.
The war has ended.
That mountain that was about to climb up,
now, it has climbed up before my eyes.
And our path continues here.
We are still here.
We are here.
We have broken through the battlefield.
Welcome back to another beautiful day of APL.
Today we're going with the third playday of Apex Morph and there are a ton of things
to be excited for.
close matches, I'm hosting today and with me we have the one, the only, the truly beautiful,
magnificent, Michael Russell. How are you doing? It's been a while.
Oh, Nick, that was pretty good. That was not bad.
It's not too bad. You're beautiful. You're my, you know, my give and send. You're a great lad all
around. Like, you've been helping me so much through my APL days. I haven't had a clue what
was going on today. I'm going to guide you through today's matchups.
Yeah, absolutely. It is good to be home. Jake and I were over in NAL for a couple of days,
So the sleep schedule is a little bit wrecked. It's lovely to be back in my first time actually for the stage covering north
So I've had a look across at some of the results and the standings and how it's kind of shaped up so far
It seems pretty interesting on a surface level. So excited to jump in
Well, how about I show you a great match that happened very recently?
Okay, we had just yesterday's scars versus keynote rope that was gonna be the match of the day in our
Thoughts and predictions and in reality it's about the exact same way this game started 0-4 in favor of stars
But you'll see the score line changing very quickly here.
KinoTrope, they mounted the comeback.
They started playing some pocket shots in defense.
Maestro every single round.
Scars that are struggling.
They bend away the Maestro.
They go to OT and guess what?
Scars for the first time in a long time
actually overcame KinoTrope in domestic play
because the last what year or so
it's been KinoTrope winning almost every single time.
So how about that Jake?
Well Jake, you see what I mean there?
Already messed it up.
I worked with Jake last time.
No, it's Goss, I'm sorry. How about that, Goss?
Take a look at the standings. Anything that stands out to you? Anything that's surprising?
Um, again, looking at the standings, I don't think there's too many shock factors probably outside of that Scar's Kinetrop exchange, right?
And as you mentioned, it's such a historical precedent that typically Kinetrop, funnily enough, given, um, despite, I suppose, Scar's success or appearance, at least, that international lens of recent time,
that is that domestic rivalry where Kinetrop typically have had their favour.
So unfortunately for them, they now find themselves in the bottom four and it kind of makes it quite interesting now
That they're sort of teetering on the edge of qualifying for the playoffs
Of course just top four in this particular region
But I think it's probably clear cut at the bottom three
This stage right now based on their form line. It's gonna be a real struggle to see any of them making into the top
Yeah, I had to agree with you on that one also if you take a look at the third place there
a beacon of fear 15 and 6 in rounds right one thing is being third place but
the way in which fear except in doing so has been very one-sided and that this is
with the question of who do they play next what does everyone play next
because the day genuinely is going to be a lot of very close matchup if you look
at their first one here for example goes double RX versus can you be my enemy
kind of battle of the first victory as the both winners currently and just take
your eyes down the screen every single match today should be a close one
probably not gonna finish early today. No, probably not. It's gonna be a bit of a
grind here. I think I'm most excited probably for that third matchup of the
day. I'm looking to KineTrope and seeing if they could potentially form a comeback.
Any points for them is gonna be massive. If they lose again this evening, it's
gonna create even further of a rift in terms of them trailing the top four. And
again, pending that RRX and can you be my enemy matchup. A clean 3 pointer for
either of those two teams and then compounding that with a KineTrope was
only makes their run even more challenging. So it's a big game, some big high-heating organizations
as well, and it all gets topped off by the final game of the night as well. Big CIG
Phoenix is going to be a really high-quality matchup and excited to see if that's going to be a bang.
Yeah, we're ending off the day strong with seeing who's going to kind of pull ahead,
but we're starting with a here to see who can actually get a win on the board.
Can you be my enemy right now? They've been going through a very tough time as a roster.
They have, you know, gone completely winless the entirety of Stage 1.
Their current is still winless here in Stage 2.
We're just looking at these guys saying, can they get a lot of rounds on the board?
Can they get more and more experience?
Can they get into a position where we can sit here and go, you know,
I think they can beat this opponent.
Because generally speaking, what happened last stage was,
you had just them and double RX playing each other in a very competitive matchup.
Otherwise, they didn't really stand the test of their opponents.
Yeah, there's a lot of parallels between really both teams heading into this matchup
Can you get my enemy and RRX afraid that pretty stiff competition first couple of play days and the numbers
Reflecting with kind of how rough the intro has been for them here in stage 2 for this team
Specifically looking across at some of the key metrics key numbers attacking win rate 30% it's even rate
13% of course there is gastric so it's a limited data set that the numbers are still pretty damning either way
The question really is going to be how do they now go against that opposition that should be on a similar playing field
I think it's probably fair to say that them and RX are both probably still very much in the discussion of
Finishing to the mid to low table and an opportunity for them to kind of break out of that tonight and again pending other results
Three points for this team would be massive in towards any aspiration for the top four finish
It really would be huge and their opponent in double RX action had a phenomenal match
yesterday against CFG.
I know this is going to sound like what I'm talking about, they lost 1-7 and it's not
so much about the score, it's about what happened in each individual round in that 1-7 loss.
They actually came close in a lot of those rounds, it could have been a 7-3, it could
have been a 7-4 if you really stretched it out.
So it does feel like two minutes double RX might actually pull a hit here against, can
Can you be mine to me if they're playing the same level as they did yesterday against
CIG?
Yeah, in terms of the key player, I think to watch for this team of course, Akuzu leading
the charge in terms of the numbers year wide at that 109 EPS.
He's been a little cooler though in the early stages here, back half of the year.
I've been down as a 101 EPS and ranked 22nd in the league.
So comparatively a stage one, he hasn't quite been near his absolute best, but we'd soon
be a hard hitter whether it be in stage one or in the first couple playdays here so maybe this
could end up devolving into the kind of match where individual performance is going to be quite
a determining factor so again looking at him to have impact in this game. We saw in the replay
practice there are some mounts a cg just get like an early c4 kill it's four it's five versus four
in the favorite double x then struggle with the plan b but we all saw a couple of highlights
whereas actually like a 2v2 and a 1v1 those moments that I'm speaking of that could have changed that
let's go from a 1-7 to maybe a 3 or a 4-7.
So I'm right the way you just,
I think if they get a strong individual performance,
perhaps they can pull ahead, perhaps.
But I mean, today is gonna be the matchup,
like you said yourself,
where it's gonna be the most even matchup of both.
Can you give my enemy and for double IRIX.
So do you have any favoritism here?
Do you have a map in particular,
maybe where you think that one team is favorite
over the other, or maybe they meet on neutral ground?
What do you reckon is gonna happen?
I would love to be honest with you, Nick,
but I've already picked the theta, so I reckon
You know what the bottom map is going to be, and it will be played on day 1 and 2.
Aura works with an appearance last playday against COG, so this is a map for our teams.
I mean, naturally, regardless of any context, they can be comfortable on, but the fact that
they've now shown it on several occasions, that now brings in an element of counterplay
and countervoting heading into this game, as well, depending on how much research and
homework both teams have been willing to go into this matchup.
I even saw in the replay package there as well, a bit of a gnar play. I don't know how much you want to speak about that
But there's been some interesting elements that both of these two teams have brought to this map
So I probably can't think of too much of a better battleground for these two
Also just to run here for a pack north last night
We finished off the play there with five out of the eight personal games been played on clubhouse
We are starting up days played number three with another clubhouse over this region
They'd love to play here every single team
So you know what this is gonna be the new Oregon the new football playing ground
We can face each other on the battlefield.
It's gonna start off the first game here.
It's gonna be WRX and can you be mine to me?
Not bad, Jake. Not a bad little haste, Dr. Yaw.
I've said before, it's about the only thing in Siege you haven't done.
So you've never been able to take that off.
I don't really know what's left.
We got off to our raw start.
When I put out the Jake, I was like, it's over.
Just kept me going already.
When I, um...
I was working with Desert Sheer once and we get into overtime naturally.
And he asked me like on broadcast,
would you like to do the bit?
And I messed it up.
I went, we're going all the way to overtime this and then like that's only what you do when it's like 7-7
I said it at the 6-6 mark and then we went all the way to overtime at 7-7
I said, oh, we're going to overtime and I never dare do anything like that ever again, you know, do always they have their bits and bobs
I'm gonna stay on my side of this one. Okay. I'm no Jake. I'm no Gus. I'm just Pingu
The band's played through and it's pretty, someone stand for club with Kai Bandit, Maverick
is a little more left of field, Monty is banned out, I mean I've mentioned very briefly
before in terms of the Nord, I don't think we've seen him played in any other region,
not that I've seen at least, so did you not see a single Nord NAL, we saw, I checked out
one playday, I think we asked you guys, but for the second one also none, no, unless one
I think I would have remembered some very, very good things.
So we actually saw Nord being played every single game of the last Asia playday at least once.
It was also banned away once, funny enough.
And then for Akron North yesterday, it was played at least once in the majority of the matches.
I think most of them, it's like, you know, they play the Nord, attackers can read the game with shields,
so we don't see the interaction.
Then sometimes you play the Noir, but the shields aren't anywhere near the operator because they're playing in one area
They should attack in the other area, so we don't see that but we didn't have one round where I think it was like a
German CCTV defense, the Noir was playing catwalk rafters
The Monty pushed into a garage in like a 3 vs 5 angle, so they kind of over and Noir's gadget hit the Monty and actually got the kill
So we've seen one round so far. What's happened?
Yeah, we'll see if it does have an appearance here in this particular first half, of course
not a double shield band, so it puts the big blue here in the opening round.
Maverick app, there's still plenty of hybrid substitutes that are still available, Ace,
Upland and early summer already expended.
You get to see the tempo of this matchup and what kind of pace both teams will want to bring in with, I think, so prevalent in the region and a comfort pick for both of these two up until this point.
I think it's quite fast, so...
See if that is to be the case. I've been for map clear initially here and the Ash used into the mirror.
Also, when both teams are usually against much stronger enemies on paper, who wants to be the pace-sitter, right?
Because normally if you're up against like, you know, your C.H.G., your D.P.L.A.S., your K.H.I.T.H.I.P. scars,
they will kind of run you over, like, very often, because they're just that much better.
But this is an even matchup.
So I'm curious to see who's gonna pull ahead.
You know, double R.X. and they're gonna go crazy in defense, that's bomb peeking,
and they're gonna actually peel back the layers, because right now, they're playing very structured.
You know, T'Chang'e, playing the Mira, playing behind deployable shields.
Almost letting Kenny be my enemy as close to the bomb side as humanly possible.
There's no extension.
They were literally just playing air drafters and un-CTTVs from a bomb site.
They're not holding master bedroom, not holding construction, and despite that,
enemy enemy are mostly just on the roof, kind of waiting and slowly inching forward,
scared to lose a player early.
It's two pronged at the moment here from the attack, Prashikon and Kennel's side.
And a late Selma now to make an entry point four in my enemy.
We'll see if that's exploitable.
There is info facing into that position, courtesy of the BPC.
Looking objective.
Macho line up the con side here, so...
At the moment, Rx, you have their bases.
Pretty well covered.
Have a patient.
3rd C4, a bit of fire going on the position.
CBE, she's going to check in for the flame stairs while downstairs.
There's nothing happening, it's a full done bunker, but I could double in and pay 3 shots of Maui.
That was clean.
See if they're able to flood flames though, stalling out the final part of this push courtesy of the Shamiko launcher, Jin.
Nine shots, eight shots.
They've been maintaining pressure and position.
Let's jump over towards top red, but the follow-up here from the attack lacking,
see a lurk down below from the ace and the flood now to follow courtesy of that plitz.
Couple of picks now.
RX finding it difficult to...
Put themselves back in the round.
Jin will go for a lurk or a Momo. He's able to find...
Ooh, one key kill as well.
The plant will be secured though.
Unable to be denied, what is it, Blitz?
Jin?
Push forward.
Hasn't read that there's a lurker outside the bridge.
If he isolates this pick, it could be winnable, but a perfect drop there.
Yes, we'll be able to play back up red stairs and Jin...
Ooh, in fact, went back to the bridge.
Jin has the read, but getting the line of sight prudent and challenging now needs to make a move.
20 seconds.
And it's been well played here in the post. The attack just giving absolutely nothing to June.
The reposition back to the plate gets to kill Nismo immediately get on this diffuser. He will be
able to stick. He can stick this. Will he be able to get it all the way? Not quite. It was close.
Jim played that basically as well as he could, but can you be my enemy in the post just a little
bit better? I mean so much discipline. Like in the very beginning, right? It's a slow round.
They want to make any mistakes get to the bombs in a 5v5 fashion. They do that that has been achieved from them
Then I'm thinking how they possibly going to execute given the player positions and honestly in my mind
It's a single of flashbang that makes that very winnable
They're just playing by the con for the construction door towards the season TV bomb side and they bounce it off the red
Rotate and it flashes the two different defenders right here in that position of top red and they push on in
Obviously the blitz of Nova
just going because you have a shield in front of your face, but getting the teammates behind him,
that was the big question mark for me. And then in the 2v1, we saw a hell of a lot of discipline.
The Blitz staying posted, shielded up, not going for any of the flashbangs or ADS fights,
the ace, the king go out of the main breach, dropping down the platform whenever Jim would
approach, then repelling back up, then he would walk away, always getting into the right location.
And I'm very impressed with the amount of discipline and respect also for a children's
server for both teams. Nobody wanted to be the one to instigate a fight really. They were both
channel waiting to be perfect. Yeah, positive science here to start off. That round not really
played out in a fashion where it looked like it was through the bottom teams in the league.
Pretty high quality in terms of their ability to execute and hopefully a good sign of what's to come.
It's basement to be played up next.
To the side of the attack they're going to go with.
Interesting lineup.
I bought on a course into the hatch play, once again leaning heavily into the blitz which
was useful in getting space last around the introduction of the sense as well.
Intrigues me.
And I wonder how they will be able to utilize that.
The merely pressure of the words garage courtesy of Mallory the barrier is going to keep this shield at bay
Just being a nuisance in the zero right now stalling up no one for as long as you can be possible
And nobody willing to make that first aggressive move
It's all if it double RX falling back step by step by step now by the bomb side
Accuracy by the main staircase gin was being inside the blue staircase as well
Well, it is kind of as much time as possible. Make that smoke grenade, or the trucks that
are behind the smoke, much, much higher in value. Make that see-through from Akosimene.
If you do find the kill, it's also going to be very high in value. Maybe I pick up the
hatchet from Jin. Getting a little bit impatient, but this angle is very much favourisome, as
the door is also barricaded. It's a wonderfully angle, if you will.
I decided not to commit back to a regular programming for the defences.
Can you beat my enemy?
We'll continue on attack that shock drone while he's drifting.
It's very difficult to collect some utility and unless why it is deceiving me, I believe
that mirror window was not dealt with effectively.
So we'll be standing still in towards blue and it makes that late round push for the
attack when it gets split.
Yeah, far more challenging.
The other mirror window is still standing triple.
Yeah, these mirror windows do not get cleared by the attack.
It means that double RX can put more guns facing other directions.
C4 tossed an up-dust find because of Yanaghi on the block there.
And he was playing very smart.
He was inside the bar during the vert through the softball right here.
The C4 was also very smart.
It went up in between the middle beams effectively.
And then the exposed radius goes a little bit further up through the floor.
Miroindo has been dealt with by bottom main, and while swing out comes, Asus has a little tiny bit of damage, but the Miroindo does get countered.
Yeah, I saw the work there from Havana, Rakuza's position over towards triple, suddenly under pressure, and you can see,
this guy desperately, he's trying to fight back, Nova drop over towards Moto, immediately dealt massive damage, now very susceptible to the explosive lineup.
Still up for the defense, as Yuya will find a pick, second in the round for the defense, the Blitz Force, deep.
I think my enemy is just not finding any picks on this entry. It's all one-way traffic.
And a good response in the second round from doubleRX.
One-way traffic is a good way to put it.
Often for top-off-spaceman attack, you really want to get as much pressure in different areas as possible.
You know, have one guy third channel, one guy kitchen edge, one guy motor door, one guy blue.
And then in any of those areas, you will double up and send a second attacker.
That way, you kind of have a main push, then you have all your feelers being put out.
And if anyone wins their individual gunfight, you know, one attacker versus one defender,
you now create a huge gap that all the other defenders have to turn around and try to cover shortly after.
But when you attack from a single angle, which you just saw there from BME,
mototor, and I guess a little bit by the breach as well,
you have all the defenders looking at you, right?
You can have two guys at blues from the left to right-hand side,
one guy by the bumpside chassis, swinging the breach, and it makes it much more difficult.
Sure, the sense is nice there to kind of split the bumpside into a third,
But you can't see through it.
If you bought a glass, for example, it doesn't come about smoking it,
out you can now see through the smoke.
Unless they have a warden, you should be wearing those gunfights.
If you have a damos or a solid snake to get really accurate information,
that too can get you away in as an attacker.
But with just a sense of all, it often comes with a quote,
isn't enough, it's why we commonly see a pair of operators
like your Ying or like your glass,
they give them more bit of chaos in the server.
I give bedroom then be selected up next for the side of our X as they look to try
and double down here you'd be a man in here looking for the rebound and it's
the blitz in play again it'll be intriguing to see whether or not this
does get banned out after this particular round of course an additional
band phase to follow then I look to compliment the Monty and also extracted
Out of play, the Daemons as well also selected here by the attack and that can introduce a pretty devastating
vertical dimension to this attack and even there's some drone work down below as well
I can only assume that that's going to be a troll if you argue get below and start pressing that defense anchorage on site
No worries third round on a blitz operator here doing good value
He does a lot of different things in the server both from the entry to clearing to being the planter as well
If you were to go down early to a C4
We'd share a three in this round that could of course make it much more challenging for the attack
They have to find that little kind of thing fast-paced, but also place safe positions
And that goes out. It actually denies the hot 10 opening on the jacuzzi wall
Yeah, and that's that with that they have no more hard bridge
That's a massive airbag.
Something that was saw yesterday as well actually.
I think from B&E where they spent all their heart destruction before they fully got to
the bomb site, and that was actually a CCTV attack, unlike this one on Jim.
But you're right, this creates, again, like very few pressure points.
They can now go construction on the windows or off his headstrap.
They cannot work the Cousin breach, but they can push the player there and see through
the open mirror window.
Yeah, it's just, now lack of perceived pressure.
One less position that Rx need to be mindful of, but the fact that they are a player down, that pressure could mount quickly.
Jin forced back courtesy to Yutul, done for the Blitz to follow, over towards Lodgy.
Not denied initially, the Damos down below, also effective.
Yenagi eventually got a foothold down on first fall bar.
He makes good work of that positional advantage, the defense already now chipped low.
Maui about to find himself on an island.
Jin loses the dual courtesy for great swing on the bulk.
Haramomo falls back over towards 90 UU alongside and this well will be flawless
around in the end. Clearly they didn't need all that hard breach they were able
to amount the attack in other positions and again really good value from that
blitz. Good plan B something that we often see from the teams that are
struggling with bit more domestic players they have a plan A they stick to
it and if anything goes the wrong direction then the plan B is just not
solid enough and they can often not find or find a comfortable round victory. That is a good example of
you know plan A probably not being what they wanted you know they didn't get all the breaching open
they didn't find all the avenues into the bomb site but then they find an opening pick and off
that they grace forward. We see nobita bang come out we also double r8 taking their tactical time
out early days here on the defensive side but perhaps they don't think that their attacks are
gonna be all that impressive so they know that they need a couple more rounds on the board to feel
feel comfortable in the first half.
That's a good time out from RRX.
As they look to discuss things over before the, I guess, second quarter of the match.
Yeah, the good old quarters, halves. What do we do there?
So many pauses.
First, the second half in the first half.
Yes.
I think it's probably less confusing than saying it. I was going to say the second half, the first half.
I think for me the biggest talking point is really going to be how do we deal with Blitz
or do we ban it out.
Now I did quite capture if we'd already seen what the bans were, or was the Blitz ban.
So that makes a pretty perfect sense, a lot of the attacks are being centred around the
Blitz being able to play the frontline and gain good space, with a really strong late
round as well.
So unless tool that they'll need to deal with and then triple heart breach denial ban expected
from their opposition.
Exactly what we get.
over something else and then nowadays when the bandit kite
bend very commonly and now mirror becomes another wall denier
where you go sometimes with both of those narrow windows on an external wall
open it throw a C4 start throw impact grenades because breaching is
that important usually and maybe succeed
evolution it's not 2018 anymore it's not
pick it up um i asked james's last night and he actually didn't remember it
Do you recall the last time Villa was played at a tier one level international play?
Because Villa was played back to the map pool.
I've already cheated my health on this because I looked into it when he asked of it.
But it was this time 2023.
Exactly right.
Yeah, exactly right.
And I'll say the same thing, I'll say the same thing very quickly.
Yeah, yeah, same except for me.
Like I thought it was like 2021 at latest 2022.
I know it was 23 when Conchured and I even lapsed into the porting map pool
Let's see Mera
Kenos works by yeah, and so this canals reach with a pretty quickly here. Can I see can you be my enemy?
You wonder a lot of pressure you to lose the glass follow
It's the glass though massive pick right of those smokes felt like they were going to get into play
move but did not deploy either of his asphyxiating bolts and that caps now
courtesy of the Yeager Regenian. Can they get line of sight? Ascle finds a kill
doubles down. Accused of a Jin 4L so you are still standing over towards Rafters
but can now be isolated for a moment by its back. So a lot of isolated jewels
midpoint of the round and it's a 3v3. Super awkward round indeed I mean the glass
dying first because okay time for plan B. Ascle finds two DMR kills but then they
trade them back to even numbers. Now it's double Rx, I think feeling more comfortable than not.
Yes, they have an exposed player, Yu-Ju, on the garage rafters who's in a very solo position,
but they're trying to support them downstairs from lounge. The question for Kenny B, my enemy,
will be will they flip the entire attack? Now go for Master bedroom, will they go downstairs
to hunt the player's support and the catwalk member? Yes, they will. Now he goes down, so they
find the solo player. This now puts Yu-Ju on even more of an island because they have lost the lounge
control, which means Koromomo, if he wants to assist, he has to walk down the red staircase
of trying to make it to the caracrafters to help his teammate.
Last full tank and low. You're committing to this position.
Now flanked out, but still wins the duel onto Nova.
As for the last one standing, I think the full process behind the final part of this attack
was pretty good but unfortunately the execution has not been up to the mark.
As for Force Deep has a read into board's cash, Koromomo looking to dance around the chassis,
feed exposed but then rounds the corner wins the fight and double RX off the back of the attack
timeout do successfully convert to two of the score. Again like I gotta say I'm very
impressed with both teams without how many good decisions that they're making the server it's
very logical. You know you start off, Coward attack, you got the glass, okay he dies, okay
what do we do now? Well who can we isolate? What is the free kill that we can get to put
ourselves in a much stronger position? This right here, that should have been the turning
point for the round. The three versus two. But then some individual mistakes maybe. Nova who's
playing Capitao, solo walks in Garrett's door with the diffuser and dies to the Catwalk member,
Sasami. And you take in all three attackers, you know one by the breach, two guys by the door,
Tablet of fire, what's the roadside? You get that kill?
What now? Miski scenario? You're a 3v1.
You got Garrick's control, you got breach control, you have time to play.
Gorski scenario, why do you die from the process?
You're still playing 2v1. Super winnable spot.
But the whole one solo Garrick, one solo breach, one solo window, I'm not buying it.
I might get a little bit more close teamwork together there.
Can you be my enemy?
but uh well praised here for double rx i will see again really good decision on the positionings
that they were playing i've been deployed here from double rx into round number five their second
attempt down on this basement site and we'll see if can you be a man who will be able to plate into
this uh the positioning and some of the useful use to cheer over to what's canals will suggest that
They probably want to flush this defense out.
They bring the sense as well in playing out the third appearance of that particular operator in the half.
It was used to lay some mutil through church last time out.
Off these playability right now in general, we've seen a lot of different operators.
Noblarx, they have this tendency to play the two growls very often.
Even if they're not paired with like a wall deny now favorite, they just love the ability to stall for time and say
Oh, you're a breach right now. You can't wait 30 seconds. Wait for your turn
They will do it in this time around as well. Jin's been improved those over canisters once still left in pocket
Also getting a bit more active on those staircases
How are you holding a rafter still?
Being supported by one more member of Jin
Yuji is playing by blue stairs. They're trying to redirect the attack to go
towards the frontal push and main staircase kitchen or they're trying to
comfort the room clear. We see that Yanagi in construction right next door to Jin.
Looking for a fight. Oh yep got caught. I thought maybe he'd get a little lucky with
the timing and squeeze through the red rotate but not to be Yuji as well needs
to be careful. Probably sensing he needs to make a play. It does get caught. May
They've been better serve committing back up above and just taking the jewel and you
be my enemy looking for a flawless round.
That's exactly what they do.
Great clear of the roam, explosive onsite and again just a good logical attack.
Yeah, again good pre-planning, it feels like either the prep work has been solved here
for can you be my enemy or it's been good adaptation in the middle of the round.
Again how do problems solve that?
The Jinkadilla goes in from the main breach, Inagi is hiding in construction, you play
off the timing, the sound cue being covered by the Jinkadilla, exploding inside a CCTV
and they find the first two picks.
And it feels like whenever you give B&E momentum, opening a pick and a bit of an explosive push
after, they are very successful.
So as long as they can keep fishing for that, I mean that's going to be the way forward.
They've gotten the three rounds already on the attacking side, could potentially look
for a fourth here.
There'll be a gym defense though and a lot of utility being placed on the end of the creptase with double RX the castle bear kids
They're on my magnets
Whatever with camera. No deploy. Sorry. No, there is a deployable. She was rather from the recruit operator
So again, they're all about we're gonna play these positions covered by these bits of utility
And it's gonna be able to be a me the problem solve that it's much more
I can't appear our exes very first depending on what they've made basement and just kept playing by the side itself
And for their CC defense actually
This performance inside of the server at the moment
as full and
Take you sharing the top frag
title between them at the moment
down with the attackers of Nova on the BB and Zikin go on the ace and looking over it.
When I get that grenade in first, he did bullet with a camera and maybe rotate it off afterwards,
but though my magnets are super annoying to deal with.
You get so many of them recharging extremely quickly.
So by about by the 1 minute 40 second mark give or take, you'll get the last of my disc,
1 minute 45 actually.
So unless you're rushing towards the building, you're gonna be dealing with what is a 5 or 6
different disk there from the OMI. You're gonna keep committing to it. You wanna try
and bring them all and breeze that bathroom wall towards the bomb site.
Wow, very searching for the game, telling clear about alchemy as no one has watched.
It's washed. Oh no. Oh no.
Can we get back though? 3 vs 3. Very chaotic there. They can go get a pretty good job though
to mow down 2. Jhin, deathmark elsewhere, 1 HP. The defense at the moment, who's gonna
We're not the most comfortable feeling for Jin over towards Lodgy, Kuzi though is still
stationed to Con and Maui commits over towards Garage but rotating lounge now.
At four separate defenders, Swing and Kuzi breezes to get those two kills.
Worth it, we're about to find out.
It was an even trade but as you said, Jin is very low on health and you got operators
like your Solar Snake and Microdemos.
Maui got your Nadesville Hockey.
Mario looking for something?
He asked in the server, injured and confirmed they're on the Yanaghi, no more demos.
Oh now I got caught on the flank 0-6 again in the first half.
Asphool, able to fight two and it brings it down to a 1 vs 1.
Both players low on HP, flush up 0-4 Asphool if he looks to commit a bit of utility.
He's going in blind, doesn't know the exact position of the Kuzo stationed over towards Jim.
has the diffuser to play off. Now 10 seconds on the clock is as full force to go for the
blank clear. No time to worry about the plank condition. Needs to try and find a kill. Spots
the final defender. Can he land the shots required? Both players low, but it's an ace
for Akuzu and what a way to top off the half.
Turn up the music.
What?
It's just sparing it up!
It's so quiet!
Oh
,
Now that was a great vibe check right there, great tunes, great music, watching the player
camps here, seeing if there's any big reactions emotionally on the faces of the players, but
not really, and I think that's for a good reason.
It's a very even matchup, 3-3, no one's feeling uncomfortable, everyone's feeling locked in,
the big question's gonna be what happens in that second half with the side swap.
DoubleRx not on the attacking side and can you be my me, they will go on to defense.
Yeah, it was a really entertaining half of siege and I'm not seeing any indication that that's not going to be the same case for the second.
I think it's going to be very similar.
I wonder how much of that is in terms of preparation and VOD review and these two teams knowing each other inside and out,
given how much club is being played so far this stage and how much of that is sort of on-the-fly adaptation.
Because more often than not, we've seen sort of the primary plan of both teams on several occasions be disrupted,
be disrupted but the ability to quickly pivot into sort of a plan B and try and find other
wing conditions and whilst it hasn't always worked out which is naturally the case it's been
pretty impressive to watch just how clean and as we described it quite robotically it's been
quite logical over the course of the first time which was good to watch a bit of a highlight there
at the end with Akuzi being able to net a big ace and get himself back in the game after
to the slowest start, I believe.
Yeah, you're sitting with six kills right now, right?
Yeah.
So five of those six kills happened last round.
I know sometimes it can be a little bit weird
in how it nets them, but I believe it actually was the case.
You got an opening kill back in round number two.
Side of that is pretty quiet until that last round.
We're still missing Maui as well,
like 0-6 right now, playing a ton of different operators
on the defense, now find himself on the shield on the attack.
I'm a very big fan of when an individual player might not
have the most skills in the server,
and they start playing either the flicks role,
and just like, I can help, I can help.
I'll play this operator, I don't care, whatever,
to make everyone else shine.
Or you get onto an operator that can help you get those kills
or get good value otherwise.
And I think Blitz is a great example of this.
If Maui can find an isolated defender, get the flash off,
that's gonna be a freebie.
He gets a kill, he's gonna feel a lot more relieved
about that on the scoreboard, but if it's not going to be about the kills, he cannot
become the guy who's like a droning in this shield, right?
You get this mission, you jump on in, you're seriously right there to get the opening.
What a shocker there for Yanaki, I mean I don't think he was expecting three different
people that quickly to be running it down top floor, but they did in fact send three
different people and they found the kill very easily.
Now having a look across at Mao's pool of attackers for this year and the top three
Lapid, Bokobi, and Rimm, so I would describe that as fairly flexible, and we're going to
see the Blitz here on this occasion, but wouldn't be too shocked if we see a couple of those
others over the course of this first half, especially with Blitz available just the
Monty band out. A banner up, of course, and so that gives the attack a little bit more freedom,
especially on this basic side, dealing with the hatch's impact trick code in response.
Think of it as second and able to get that, and whilst the hatch will of course eventually
get now opened up and the impacts remain just slowing out a little bit of time and that's
going to be potentially the biggest wincon here for the defense trying to just stall
out this push for as long as they can but still being a player down not a great start
especially for this side.
Being a player down and you're against one of the fastest paced operators on the attacking
side the famous the solid snake that blitz the ying you can try and slow them
down but if you want to go they can go at a moment's notice you can take the
damage you're in bottom-end staircase but we know that maybe when you're
falling back even towards the bomb site you can scan that get that bit of
information rotate another operator down there it's gonna be called Momo on the
Hibana over of the church triple wall and have that one more pressure point
hatches open wall though I think has a jam on it so they can't quite get through
and they have no EMPs in pocket.
The only way to find an EMP is if Jin were to go up to the corpse of the Anarchic Graves
and get that satchel, if he hasn't already done that, and then he could choose to get that EMP.
It's a passing of some snake, but we don't have enough time for that.
We have 35 seconds to go.
It's a 30 on the clock.
Hard work still to be done here in the round for the attack to successfully convert that entry kill
and maintain a 100% entry conversion in the match.
20 seconds now the drop now we immediately tries to go for the plant but the clash is up close
and was able to deny the follow-up slow a little bit delayed gin on an island over towards a moto
and can you be my enemy able to fight back on that base with defense ridiculous the clash
literally walks almost straight beneath the kitchen hatch puts down the shield and just starts
taking names the guy planting the guy covering on the hatch I mean it's a ridiculous amount of value
And then it's up against multiple fraconates from the attack, but they're spent too early or didn't have them in the right
Locations and therefore sekingo can thrive on the clash operator
It's a tough spot to be in we often see proteins
So they try and locate where the clash is playing and they attack as far as possible
So the clash is playing below the kitchen hatch
You can go motor gore into was the church bomb site
You can go blue for example because it's so hard to attack into and sekingo had and
Frankly, the awful day yesterday is absolutely popping off right now, 9 kills to just 3 deaths
and one of their sole reasons why the one that previous round is so effortlessly.
Again, took 7 rounds but finally an opening kill not converted so great fight back from the defense in that last round and...
There would be a depression now for the WRX to try and respond here on the side of the
attack.
I'm going to see the Maverick in play here pretty early on in the second half and operate
it.
I guess it's somewhat strangely banned out in the first, not the most typical ban that
you would see in modern day club, but we'll see if they can get value from that operator
now being up.
So just for reference, he can't go yesterday against D plus Kia when 0 and 10 as his final
scoreline.
He's now 9 and 3, like that it's a complete switch around.
And there was a different opponent, a different team, but still doing this is very impressive
and also it's the same map.
They also picked up house yesterday.
So it's not like it's that oh my god he based a new role, new position, etc.
Just a big switch around for him as an individual.
other clash once again be as annoying as humanly possible because it's probably gonna get banned
away after the third I think at this rate uh it has to be the case
yeah probably it was a real nuisance in the last round without him I doubt that it was one of it
Jim with a double cane dollar investment to get entry and secretary heart breach into
towards cash that's to keep toky honest and also now into responding with a keep
the barrier because in the meantime was successfully opened and so double RX
will probably now start posturing to pressure into boards position puts the
midpoint all the bound to double extra and flood 90 control the Cousins over
boards main is Cormomo does financially with that frag grenade there is the shock
I'm ready to work.
Jin, Logi side.
Yenagi, a token, now the last two left.
One now standing, Asphal confirmed.
The flank over towards Cache into the 1v4.
This has been a phenomenal response from RRX.
They have the cutoff in play now who lands the shot.
And that was a really clean split attack.
Very, I mean...
I think the fact that the fracker they killed took care of the clash.
I mean, that made it that much easier, but still,
They get into the office, they get killed by the Rotate, they injure themselves at a Gym, Bedroom, like, it didn't really matter if one of those three kills didn't happen because every other kill was going to be successful.
And it just goes to show how evenly matched these two teams are.
Maybe my name is on Basement, they lock it down, not much of a fight, double RX, they attack Gym, not much of a fight.
And I think it truly comes down to the openings and trying to set the pace.
If you're the team making the actions making the push and you're controlling when and where that attack will happen from
You're gonna be in a much bigger advantage than your opponent who's reacting to all the things happening at once
So I like these
Instantaneous moments of three two one. Let's go together
And I also think that if you're can you be my enemy?
It's gonna catch them by surprise because double RX they haven't been this efficient in the past
But they are giving everything for this matchup
Yeah, absolutely both teams are, I mean quite literally fighting for their stage, I've lost
here, will result in walking away with just, I guess, 1 point maximum, or potentially zero
still in the group stage overall.
And if that's what you stand on at the end of the third playday, your path forward to
making the top four, it's very, very narrow.
It would be a massive turnaround to see the loser of this game go on to make the top four,
Whereas the winner would remain in touching distance, may even hang a line on top of KineTrope just as a point of reference, which would be quite exciting for that team.
So fortunately we have been, I think, blessed here with a close and competitive matchup that's been high quality.
See how this round does though develop as we jump over to CCTV, cash pick focus, you
can decide early here on the attack indicative that we might see a con side hit.
Interesting way to defend, flame stokers rafters in this round.
Yep, I mean I guess you can get away from the capitol fire if you're very quick to react
with the scope of the shell.
You can turn sideways and teleport away before actually getting taken out by the fire damage.
It also technically works with grenades, but very much tricky to get done.
If you just have a second to live with the reaction, you will definitely blow up.
Although the attackers POV is not what they're interested in.
They're attacking most of the bedroom, but they're also getting flanked by Yanaghi.
Shoot the drone, falls on back.
I think it's a wise choice.
Often when you're a defender right now, if you're flanked too early, you'll die.
No, nothing's happening in the server. They'll reset the round for the attack and they'll go again.
The idea is to flank much later in the round when they're trying to plant, when they're communicating very rapidly,
when they have so many things happening at once that they could make a mistake as they get to watch you for just a couple of seconds.
They keep numbers up. It's 5v5.
In me, they're just kind of waiting for double Rx to mount their attack.
You can see how eagerly they are watching that flank as you and Arky does go down to basement.
In the meantime, the attacker, or in some of this defensive view, too, in the form of the gas babes on smoke as he's still though with two remaining.
It's all a snake to get really good information towards the objective, so he's forced into action.
Does get one.
Traded.
Probably the right decision there from taking a push forward, given he was in an exposed position.
Triple radar then to follow.
Ynagi, the only one still offside.
In five seconds.
with that first attack of dying he's permanently watching the flying drone by
the main staircase who are flanked now wouldn't it be possible final 40 also
found a babe but you know she puts on in here he wants to go make the first move
and they're pounding as well.
Gigi the flying stick we'll see if it's successful.
I was being shot elsewhere but the plant is a success.
Inagi now with the light flank took himself out of the round for a large
portion. Zero impacts and it could prove costly if you isn't able to find the
1v2. You do on an island. This is possible. Sharks do land. The Capita just survives.
Space now to be taken. Claim bolts out and you almost got caught. Now off
close and down. And Yanagi try and stick long armor potential here. Needs to try and
bait out now we're on to the vault. 8 seconds remain, Yanagi will need to stick, thought
off doesn't win the fight anyway and it's a big win for double RX.
Very big indeed and I gotta say there if you're Yanagi you might be sitting there thinking
oh my god I should have flanked, I should have gone back to side, I should have not
run out to the garage store for the rappel like he just made without having any information
the wrong decision is time and time again and it's not his fault it's just kind of
bad luck, right? Had he committed to the flank the first time around, we knew from our point of view
the flank drone wasn't being watched. That could have been a free flank. We also know that running
at the Garrett's door, looking for a guy on CCTV rappel, was a bad decision because there was nobody
on the rappel, and he learned that too. And then unfortunately at the same time, his teammates died
to the injury of Jin walking in from Connector. So wrong place, wrong time, unlucky there for me
and I cannot find any value. Like you said, he does find his one exit frag in the 1v2 clutch,
but not the round so it does not matter. Now it's going to be can you be my enemy calling their own
technical timeout, talking with each other and any of their supports. Definitely there is some
about how they can tune this one around because it is not slipping away but they are now trailing by one.
And the second half proving that the entry not necessarily as much of a determining factor
that's now two of the three rounds where it hasn't been successfully converted in contrast to the
the first half where it did sit at that 100% rate. We'll see how much that changes things
going forward. The expectation I would assume is we go back down to that basement objective
where can you beat my enemy, found success back in that seventh round. And it was a pretty
prominent display from them on this site last time out. We'll see if this time around they
can produce that success. Again, with every point towards the standings for these two teams being
really important, as much as it would still be great to push it to our team and get a win,
that one point could be pretty influential later on. So, can you be my enemy? They really need to
lock in here and try their best to get to 6-1st. I mean, I title this matchup a battle of the first
win for one of these two teams, and can you be my enemy? It would be the first win since stage one
and for double rx they were victorious you know last stage getting one overtime win and one overtime
loss rather so the regulation victory over kb mania and overtime loss so they got some points on
the board but not necessarily enough what they wanted we are seeing nor bevert to action actually
and there is a shield also not referring to by double rx so nor v blitz it's all about can they
find each other in the server or from blitz's point of view can they avoid each other in the server
because it's a very one-sided affair. If the Blitz Flash goes off, Blitz will get the kill.
If Norris Breaching Charge goes in throughout the Norris Lands I think it's called,
then he will like to get the kill. It's something lands. Hold up. Let me cook.
It's something launcher. I remember learning it and then quickly forgetting it.
Oh, the Horace Lands Launcher. Horace Lands Launcher.
Again, this is my first time casting it, so I'm hoping it does something. I'm
I'm excited. Quick entry down below through pool, Kormomo almost caught a media drop motor.
Hit in the side.
From double Rx, they have side control. Plant likely to go down. This could answer a 5v5 post.
This is so awkward. One or two defenders in the basement, three guys above. Time for a
retake.
Bring it on, this is going to be a brawl. To win the round, 10 double Rx, get themselves
on to match point. Still a 5 vs 5, 23 seconds to get on that diffuser for the defence and
they're static. They don't even play it down right?
20 seconds now and the defence still static, the line I guess somewhat keeping them at
bay now fighting over towards short as only 10 seconds on the clock. They will not be
able to get on this diffuser regardless of how good that clear is. It gets down to a 1 vs 1,
ultimately one out with guns, but they were never a chance of retaking that site. Far too slow
and credit the double rx in finding that opening. I mean what a push, straight into the pool table
window, down the motor hatch, into the bomber side and I mean they they steal around completely away,
instantly hits the plant and I was I was confused like you were as well. The defense,
They are aware that the bomb was planted, right? They are aware that they're on a timer now, with just the 45 seconds beginning to end.
And they did end up responding pretty significantly, you know, they got 4 out of the 5 kills, came down to a 1v1, but there wasn't enough time to both get the kill onto Maui's Blitz, and then of course get the counter defuse.
And speed of Maui. Look at the guy's scoreline, Bro is 7 to 7, Bro is tied it up.
He entered the half what zero five zero six. I believe and now he's an even numbers
Nominal switcher here since you got to play the shields. Yeah
Three rounds in a row double RX. They've really been able to take a stranglehold of the momentum here attacking into clubhouse which is
It's somewhat surprising but I think, honestly reflective of some of the ideas that they've
brought into the server for this second half, great presence of mind at least in the last
one there to find that triple stack, drop into board's motto.
Often you see that executed and certainly not super, um, successfully either so.
Yeah, credit to them.
But the job's not done yet as mentioned and I'll reiterate it again every point for these
to especially where they sit right now for the standings is so important.
At the double RX, they'll be fighting with everything they've got here to finish it in regulation.
Can you be a man who, and if you're careful, they don't drop their heads here.
And OT results would still be pretty decent.
And we'll see if they can formulate a comeback here. It all starts on this Jim Bejim side.
Just gonna hold your nerve right now and not let that pressure get to you.
And it works for both teams, of course.
If you're in the lead right now for double RX, you gotta keep up the pace.
Make the fast entries, play with confidence, go for the fights.
Don't start second guessing anything, being oh my god if I lose this gunfight we could lose the round.
And for Kenyubi my enemy, it's not over yet.
Do not believe that for a second, it is just as winnable as when the game first starts it.
Even though the last two rounds have been tough, you aren't even grounds for your opponent.
It's a king go again, most of them will be seen on 12 kills right now.
Same with Asville, we're finding a lot of value each in a Bersinkel round.
And for this time, it's actually going to be a lot slower pace as well.
Double Rx is using the Twitch drones to burn away some of the Gorya canisters,
look for the now-relacers, they're droning things, they're breaching things,
and the timer is going to slowly start taking away.
It's much more likely we'll see that 5v5 late-run execute.
You know, you put the back end there of the first rock drone from a cruiser,
and I think it was recently effective onto some of the Gorya utility bedroom side,
But evidently as we saw in a flash there, still some standing on the wudgeside push.
There's a two-pronged here from doubleRx. They'll need to be careful that I don't get too de-synced.
It's Jin now will rotate elsewhere. He still has three Reteros in pocket, mind you.
That could prove expensive if he's unable to deploy some of that U-Tilt.
Huzu's still dealing with some of those canisters. I think he may be able to at least pop one more.
So not too bad from him.
Checklist has been okay here from the Blarex but I think can you be my enemy will still
feel pretty well settled as they now look to reposition for the late round.
And just waiting for that first overly pick.
It's going to determine so many things.
I actually see a flank within it by Yanaki again.
This time around to rectify the mistakes of the past.
Seiza Jones shoots it and goes for a wall bang instead.
And he gets shot down immediately.
Maui actually with a CCTV watching the flank and covering the window outside has the
the perfect read so they get the first pick so Kingo could survive back.
Oh, asshole.
Little like you to survive there and now we will follow it up with a great swing and punish.
Good read, Logi.
Lands the shot.
This should be round of game over as he denies the nitro by marching forward.
So, Kingo, what can he do?
Who more to find in the post?
It is doable.
If you do it with a Koosie, they're able to double stack our conside.
would have been traded I assume but not needed. That's a massive result for double Rx. They play
really, really well in this matchup. They get rewarded with all three points and the finish of
the top four is still on the cards. I mean that is again the way we should do it. We did
the victory showing up, the prowess in the server, the sheer confidence we had and A's. We've seen
a 40 there from Maui as well. We've seen just, I don't know, such a higher level honestly than we
see from both of these teams against different opponents and I think it goes to show that
when you have confidence and you go into a matchup, you should be thinking that you can
win. It will all throw you into a higher level because this was much much better showing
than what we saw yesterday.
I don't know how much of this is recent advice in my mind and I'm not trying to say this
as if it's too much of a hot take or anything but I genuinely feel like this game was one
of the better matches from a bottom 2-3-4 style team in terms of that head-to-head game.
Important to remember, both of these teams entered the day knocking on Death's door
in terms of trying to make the top four. Not much to show for it up until this point.
Stage 1 as well, also really rough, but we got a really good high quality game of club.
It's exciting to watch as we look at the match summary for the side of RX, a pretty good
team spread in terms of the effort. But can you bear me any of these? Some of those players
Hosting big numbers.
Yes, the team play on a couple of occasions just fell short of the mark.
It was only small margins, but ultimately it did blow out to that 74 margin.
Absolutely. Also, when you go into that clubhouse where when you're attacking,
you're trying to fan out on attack from many different locations,
they respond from defenses that you can match them, right?
If they're attacking from four different areas,
you've got to send four different defenders to cover each and single one of those posts.
So you want to have every single member have the ability to shoot back and treat themselves evenly.
Sikinko did that. The individualism was there, but like you said, the team play a little bit better there on the side of DoubleRX, especially since they got onto the attack and side, because that was where they shined the most.
Yeah, I mean, the discussion now I think we'll pretty quickly pivot towards whether or not DoubleRX are a realistic shot now to make Top 4, and I think it's probably a little too early to get excited for them.
Again important to remember that these two teams are pretty equal footing heading into the night, but
Pending what double RX can maybe show over the next couple of playdays. You never know where they could ultimately end up
I mean looking ahead at their road that got Eurex in the next playday then scars
You've got to get a result in one of these two games and it's gonna be a challenge
Who knows after tonight? I kind of want to see them actually go to make a bit of a run because I really enjoyed watching them
Well, I would like to see the same exact thing and we've had the first assault, of course, being established now, but we got to look at our Skeptical, right?
Because there are more things that we got to assault out here. We got four games that day across the board.
Next up, we're tripping main telecom from against Skars, and then as we go later into the night, I feel like we're kind of ramping up the level match by match by match.
And honestly, I'm not sure if I have one favorite, but I think tripping main telecom, if they can show us the same kind of level as double RX and can it be my enemy, that could be a new good look for them as well.
as well. We'll find out in just a couple of minutes. Go to a very quick break. Do not go anywhere.
Let's put them in the ground.
Fall back!
Team one, report.
Alive and worth it.
We lost contact with the other team.
They have their orders. We need to go for Nix.
Don't give me my eyes. You'd cover her.
Monty.
Off-dive. Sending a payload.
Your corner, bitch!
Surrender!
I see one old man.
One old man about to die.
I need you to run yourself, three rows down.
Pack my phone!
Huh? What if I do it now?
We're sticky there, Steve.
We trusted each other.
And it paid off
Rondae go for extraction
I had a lot of fun doing this since I was a little kid.
I was a little kid, but I couldn't play outside with normal people.
My mom and my dad often played games.
That's why I was in a place where people would play games for me, so I did a lot of things.
When I was a kid, I was a very rebellious person.
I would do things that I didn't want to do.
I really didn't want to do anything, but I was walking, playing soccer, or basketball.
I didn't want to do anything at all.
The more seasons, the less you can play outside, and the more you can stay in the hospital.
For example, games have become the main theme.
It's a type of person who says, I can't do it.
So it's not really a game that was created.
Yes, I think it was the most fun game I ever played when I was young.
I was basically sleeping in the school, playing games at home, playing games at night, and sleeping in the school.
I was always thinking about it.
Now, when I look back, I have to say thank you to my family.
I was able to enter this e-sports conversation and become a professional gamer.
I can earn more than a person's salary.
I have to thank them.
When I first started CIGI, I met my friend at CIGI for the first time.
I was playing with my friends, but I've been playing with my friends for a long time, so it was a very good impression.
I think it's a good feeling. I think I've never played a game like this before.
I think that's the best part. I think I've been playing since season 0.
When I first started my series, I felt like Minecraft was more important than anything else.
I felt like I was the only one who did it.
So I felt like it didn't have that kind of impact in Japan.
I think I've been the strongest since the beginning of my series.
I think it was the best thing I could do to win anything.
I was so happy that I didn't lose to anyone.
Little check in the morning
I said I felt that you know it
Try to keep the look on the red
You're born with a little bit of a moment
I don't want to say hi like it's not nice
Hey, good job boy, you were bye-bye
I never hit the ring when I work
Cause I tell my phone, phone, phone
I'm a fat fuck, killer killer
Like a something so unique, killer killer
I can tell, tell, tell, tell
Dabuserumai de
Dabushimu tenfai dabu tabu
Utsutsu ki wa iranai
Dainenate iwasenai
Shibun no kachi wa
Shibun de kime no yorou
Tick tock, tick tock
No kura nai
That's too amazing
Tick tock, tick tock
Furi muka nai
Yukkuri kono
Nani kagametsu en nani kao shite
Because I always say
It's a different situation
If you hide in a corner
I can't find you
I can't drive
Everyone's life is a mess
I can't take a moment
I stand up and I'm in the red
I'm in the mood to change
I'm the type of man that doesn't want me
I'm all set
How you like it tonight?
That's because I'm all human, bye bye
I never hit a beat when I work
Cause I don't fall, fall, fall
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yes, it's a beautiful scenery
You and me, it's amazing
You know, you'll never be cute
But I don't care anymore
Does it feel so right?
You gotta use your time
I'm gonna tell you the truth
I'm gonna put it on you, I'm gonna give it to you
In the back
I won't take it anymore
This feels amazing
Welcome back, we just finished our very first match up here on the third playday of APEG
North Team.
Can you be my enemy and double our X?
This is a surprisingly pleasant game.
Both teams played at a very high level and really maxed out quite evenly in the server.
How can I make a takeaway from you guys to wrap up that series?
Look, I think I basically doubled down on the point. Very pleasant viewing experience.
It was actually a really good game of club.
And it's now opened up an opportunity for DoubleRX to make a run potentially towards top 4.
Of course, still quite a distance for them to get there.
It's going to be a pretty challenging road to go on.
And then of course, two sides to every coin.
Can you be my enemy?
I think they basically now have a line through their name when it comes to top 4 aspirations.
and linked that into our next game.
One of these two teams, especially on the side of TrippieMainTelecom,
they could suffer a similar fate if they don't get any points tonight as well.
They could, but before we talk about Trippie, let's talk about Scarcer's, okay?
It's gonna be their opponents, it's gonna be their big dogs also from Japan.
They are looking for some victories, okay?
They have had, I want to say, inconsistent or shaky time here in Stage 1 and Stage 2,
but they definitely want to get a little bit more consistent with it, you know?
We're talking beating teams that are lower seated on the bracket,
Convincingly and taking close games and victories against the higher seeded ones. Do you have any kind of expectation for scars?
They didn't work here and say super big log yet guys, but like thinking historically for the source of scars anything
You're not talking about. Oh look
I mean I think the storylines pretty clear for them and it has been over the course of this year that with North now being a
One-slot region and retaining that title heading into stage two they need to step up their game
But that's the obvious
I'm sure they know that better than anybody that doesn't need to step it up here if they want to go to the
a Psycho major and look it seems like there has been a level of improvement
right taking down Kinetropes, Shaw, Oteed is the best of one say what you will
but even just the historic nature of that matchup they've finally been able to
kind of get one back on arguably their biggest rival in the league and I think
that that could maybe slingshot them here and of course the rest of the group
saving give them some nice confidence and this is the kind of matchup where I
think they'll be going in and looking to prove a point right this should be one
decided they should be in and out quickly and I think that's exactly what they'll be
aiming to do.
So it's all going for Skars going up against Kynanthrope to now today facing Trippie main
Telecom, a much weaker opponent on paper but maybe some of the team that can actually throw
a curveball, I think for them from my perspective here they need like a weird map, they need
something where they can do something unexpected up against Skars, maybe try and cast them
off guard in that direction but then I looked at all yesterday's result rather where we
see right here, the AKFEERICS versus TRIPMENT ELECTRON, they did that curveball against
FIERICS, they went to VILLAGE, they newly reworked map to get that basement bomb site, and look
at the scoreline, 4-0, 5-0, 8-0, 6-0, like it didn't really pan out whatsoever. So if
I'm trippy, I'm not sure what their biggest strengths are, but I feel like whenever they
play default Rainbow Six seeds, they tend to be the losing team in that matchup.
Yeah, unfortunately the number is 4 this roster, quite damning up until this point, and again
to illustrate that the easiest metric to observe is that attacking wing rate and defensive wing
rate on the attack they played 12 rounds only walked away with two and then defensively because
the those two matches were quite one sided and that was the second half they've only had four
defensive rounds so far and haven't been able to win one yet so look as hard as it may sound it
probably can't get too much worse for them and they don't have much to lose in that regard because
I think top four whilst it is a nice aspiration to have is pretty unlikely and all but confirmed
They won't make it if they win tonight
So I think they just need to go and try and have some fun and I agree maybe try and throw it to all map
That's a little more off-center to try and patch their opposition off guard and as we look across
At the map veto. We'll see what the final will be as we run the rule at table
It was between fortress border and chalet as the final map it shall lay to make it through
looking across at the record for these two teams,
Scars are one this year,
of course, the entire year,
TrippieMent Telecom, who fall as an organization.
I quite like this actually myself,
because we saw Trippie try and play Villa yesterday.
It was very structured, slow,
and I thought that denying the attacker space in the server,
now it was between, like you said,
Border, Fortress, and Chalet,
where attackers can thrive a lot more,
but also it's more about fighting, fighting,
fighting, being chaotic.
So I feel like it's just them having a very bad resort on Villa wanting a better assault different playstyle and they kind of got that
So from the map view to perspective I actually been tripping on a great job. What would that be instead?
Scarce and she'll leave there. Not a bad team
Yeah, for sure to prevent telecom have had successful map has mentioned two wins funnily enough five months ago
They actually got a win seven five over fear X their most recent victory again five months ago against double
Rx can they call something special tonight?
Let's go, let's get into it.
See the stats right here.
Maps played, 6 times a tribute, 1 time for Scars.
Map records though.
Whatever, I wish you watched it between the 2.
I love these kind of map statistics that we're seeing here, to hear quicker reading it,
seeing what operas are going to be key for these different 2 teams.
The smoke, they must be mentioned there as well.
Of course, they just like being the difference maker from the side of Scars.
We also had the good old time of Rek and Nina Departip, they're now back on the same roster
as well, so I love the kind of storyline following through the scars. Let's see what
offers me when the way we start off with a solid snake and the asami.
Yeah, the asami mainstay for Wreck on Chalet, it's a mainstay rather for the bench, very
infrequently available. There were my as well very, very popular band now universally post buff,
but again, especially here on Chalet, great on some of those power positions for the defense,
So no longer available.
Truteman telecom are gonna be forced to drone heavily in this first half.
The Snake and the Deimos both out of play.
Getting those shields, man.
You know, replace the drone with the shield, jump on in.
That's one of the two styles.
The normal being played maybe this after.
The normal could be drawn out by Skars.
It could be.
One thing I actually would love to try and do one day,
and this is kind of required on me to like get to Australia,
probably all of you guys from Europe again,
We should try to hit a ranked session.
You know, I had stacks before where, you know, I could have fresh, I played with Leo,
I played before we kill Jacob doing one of the SI events where we have like a play-improved
as casters, and we could all like play the game together.
I've never played with the Aussie boys in my Siege career, you know?
It used to be pretty good back in the day.
Well, good is a stretch, but we used to play quite a bit.
And then we always get the 3AM versus Auss pro stack and then call a lot of that because we
It's time to do it, big boys!
He was just like, Brendo, it's some crazy stack of 3 in the morning and then we'd be like, yeah, let's call it.
I saw fingers turrets there on social media saying how, you know, he got championed very quickly, obviously he's a very good ranked player,
and now he cannot really find a game, that's a very long few times, and I imagine when you get into the old servers,
like you say at 3AM, you're ready to get high ranked, you find the same kind of people very often in the server,
and you know very quickly if it's an enemy you can beat or not.
or not then if you can you can keep playing it if not you you just call
the night let's jump into the first round then it's bedroom in play scars on
the defense trippy main telecom again they haven't actually attacked along this
stage courtesy of typically starting on the defense we'll see how this does
fall maybe I misspoke there maybe they've attacked a lot but not defended
let me triple check that stat and actually yes sorry I apologize I've
attacked a lot, they haven't defended a lot. Unfortunately though, their attacking success
has been due and far between. Two wins out of 12 rounds and unfortunately, this might
go down as another loss losing two members early.
When Scars get the opening pick on this both side, they just win the round. Like that's
the stat basically. That's a scary prospect to be looking at here because if you look
at the current drill trajectory, they didn't just get the opening pick, they found two
over on the heart breach of the ace and the black beard and also the grim for the information gathering
and this round is completely falling apart for Trippie. I think it's starting off well,
the EMP to Griswold mine, they jumped in the window but they didn't see the second
Griswold mine later on, that's how Blackbeard died, walked in, Griswold mine pops, he shoots,
doesn't block his face anymore, he got shot straight in the dome. Now Trippie is stuck inside
a mud room in the parking window, he jumped on in trying to survive so they ultimately get shot
down even just one member standing it's dochi you know 1v3. It's a scary start then if you're
trippy about fascars this will fill you with confidence. Tricky to envision a 1v3 clutch but
not impossible. Offers piano in play for scars and so they'll have a cross and really good
tradeability they've positioned perfectly for this library side push on Dochi.
There's no way the defense will lose this. No, she would stay over towards piano it's going to take.
What a wonderful Dochi to be able to start unlocking this cross.
Any seconds now remains as she tries to break it down but
unfortunately no opportunities presenting this has been discipline siege from scars.
They got the aggression out of their system early, playing off the U-Tool that was pre-placed,
and then rewarded there at the end of the round. A good start for Scarce.
Yeah, good bet. discipline. I think Scarce historically, they kind of like see a G if you go far enough back.
Whenever they find themselves in like a 3 vs 1, 4 vs 2, they don't tend to sit back and wait for the round to be over.
They will swing out, trying to go for the kill, and usually it's fine, they'll still win it,
But there is that occasional round where they actually throw the round away and the enemy clutches against them.
I love seeing how in the very first round here they play very disciplined, very respectful,
utilizing the get-to-tree, the crossfires early on.
Then they fall back to the side here when he becomes that 3 vs 1 as well.
They have a player in the piano behind the cover shield, a player in office with a crossfire,
and they don't make any silly mistakes.
Then right here at 5 seconds left, the shotguns remain close quarter.
I think that's completely passable, I'm not gonna adjust them for that.
So a good look here for Skars who really show up and I also think you know you
said it yourself earlier like them beating KinoTrope was a very big step
for them and I also think they gave them kind of a new look at how they need to
play in order to have one yesterday and it is gonna be about getting a bit more
respect and when they are up against KinoTrope they prepared for example for
the Mind Show that was what Leo said the coach of Skars in the winning
interview but they didn't actually manage to come up with the right
counter is in the moment in the server so they adapted their game plan they respected it they
banned away the maestro saying it's too good for us right now we're not gonna try and play the
sophia the the florist the cali etc we'll just ban it away and now for trippies okay these guys
they're not the strongest team on attack don't give them easy gunflies making really struggling
for the game we probably could just ego swing them but let's make it as hard as humanly possible
So the Twitch in play then for the second round here from Trippie.
Decent belt of utility that can be chipped way out and then the Grismont Lions which
were a great counter on the white fit in the last round as a bling as well.
And those promises if they are to be deployed as Nina pops up over to West Main.
Tucci caught out.
And unfortunately again for Trippie main telecom they will be fighting from behind.
I'm able to really get much in the way of map control and exchange for that player either outside of Munu over towards Solar.
But he too, now immediately under pressure, does have some support. That's good teamwork.
That was great from the Blackbeard in drawing out U2s.
Flying beings have to their right wreck, but it's a little too late for them to see for and force on back again.
Not wanting to give them any easy fights.
Munu will be below in health, now Shocker downstairs, damage takes a little bit of damage, but not anything of significance.
There's still so much time to work with, half the rounds to 1 minute 30 seconds, scars
will relocate, a little bit closer towards that bomb site, they have far controlled
blue staircase, it's living a player also inside a library, so all we gotta wait for
now is for Trippin main telecom to get to that next choke point, pushing top mezzanine,
pushing the Ivy hallway here next to the piano, that's gonna be the next step for
Trippin.
Unless they wanna skip this whole thing and try to hit the bomb site directly, that's
going to be difficult because if you do that you're going to surrender library control and that
vert will work against you. Now Akaza doing his due diligence with that shock drone looking for any
catch utility potentially in position for the library stairs hold and clearly none identified
not required to be clear. A bit of a rotation in the meantime as Munu now considers a more
diffract approach on site, turns off this on site hold pretty now extensive on the defense
Both Fish Lake and Washoi nearby, but no bastard closest to the defense despite that the Blackbeard still will fall and Demik is able to catch wreck on his late rotation.
So with two versus two, a winnable round for Trippie, question will be can they get this diffuser on the ground?
Demik is trying to draw out this defensive hold from Stars and NL will remain up above on hatch.
Skars now problem solving their way through the ground, Demik spotted and sprayed down
courtesy of the SMG and the train not quite landing through the wall.
That's some sharp work from Skars at the end of round two.
Again, just individually and a little bit better right now.
They win their individual fights but it was actually a good team play from Trippie.
They sent in Moonoo on the blanket first and kind of tanking the racer's thorn from the
loom rather from the phone operator he gets injured and then when the defenders try and go for the kill
confirmation that's when Demig jumped in behind them and goes for a 1-4 and treat that's how he
found himself in the middle of the bomb site so small bit of wind conditions there being successful
for chirpy if he can't went out in the 2v2 it's not gonna matter and it was a tough spot that they
were in as I said Demig was in the bomb site with the diffuser could maybe try and go for a plant
by the half wall but then the issue is there's two different defenders and you don't know exactly
where they are, you knew that one guy was inside a bar, other guy could be the hallway, could be
thanking the boss for you, so having only one attacker watching both involved and beneath
two separate staircases adored by the bomb site is too tricky for them, so they try and go for
kills, just saw what happened, fish like, just a little bit better.
Some positive signs for Chippy Man Telecom but again it's not going to be enough to one
generate a result and two if they don't get a result the flow and effect will be
that their stage is essentially over outside of a massive run towards the
tail end so again similarly to the last game especially for the side of Trippie
this is a borderline must win match at minimum have to push over time so they
need to start stacking rounds that could be a good start wow
Poochie catches a perfect timing on to Nina whose attention just got directed
else where the unfortunate start to the round, the Scars put a great punish from the attack.
Now Scars on the back foot have two options now, try and keep up the pace and try and
lash out for one for a kill to even back them up to a 4v4.
Or try and say, okay, we've already lost one player, Pina, you're not fortunate with
anything like those.
Let's just peel back the layers, the aim there for face like, not quite hitting a smog
on the drone.
And all I've said, hitting a drone is much more challenging than hitting a player, the
The way they move, the way they're moving off the map is just not always easy.
Much more challenging than a console.
I remember the Happy Cowboys times where you just run around the entire round trying to shoot one turn.
Sorry, Dory.
I would just go for a hip fire at that point.
You know, I've played like five hours of Steve's control of my gameplay myself and I am awful at it.
You would not believe how bad I am.
Player advantage for Trippy.
Still a bit of a lurk threat.
Up above here, from Skars.
Rack will be looking to do some damage before peeling back over towards Solar,
eventually back towards Scythe. I'll show you as well, playing a backline position
inside of Solar. Kippy will now look to take some of this control. Slow but truly,
they're going to be careful they strike the right balance here between overextending,
but also not taking too long. U2 now to chip the way out over towards Piano.
Dragonade for the flush, as Moonoo now finds contact.
All rack, tricky position, he's trying to draw this Blackbeard in.
There is a cross left-hand side, it's a good read from the Blackbeard,
but a better shot from Newkiz, does get caught however,
that we'll show you to trade back.
With that it's a 3 vs 3, we'll show you to drop the defuser.
Can he get out? Yes, but Wreck unable to do so.
And that's a great catch, we'll show you.
to make it down the stairs and overall a pretty solid attack there from Trippie main telecom.
And thankfully they actually found to have been picked onto Nia much earlier in the round so
I don't have to worry about the solos going for a flank from the operator perspective and also
having numbers advantage to start off that push with the BB. Loosing the first body isn't the end
of the world, they keep trading back and forth and Trippie really forced the issue. They didn't
have a player in a bathroom window, solarium or pelcher that caught them from running away,
They just wanted to fight, fight, fight on the front lines.
That's the third round being finished means that we got to get some more
up and events in the action and actually a clash prefire saying,
Oh, no, no, you'll not have the luxury of playing that operator
and slowing down our pushes.
You know, from the other side of scars, they take away even more
information, solid snake with the demos with the grim.
So this really elevates the shield play.
And with that, I was about to say it myself, Norse value, skyrockets.
And I didn't see it right before the replay date there.
Scars did log in more for the upcoming round.
It's time to buy your Norse stocks because you're right, they should start like it.
We'll see how influential that ends up being going forward as we look back at the previous round, a heavy trade game up above.
Scars did their best to get a back to play advantage, but then they cut off from Trippie ultimately, ended up being their best win condition, preventing the defense and getting down below.
below, worked out well and now they maintain touching distance and this matchup has been
returned to Master Office. Successful of course, first attempt on the side of Skars, and three
players at the conclusion of that round. And for me it all lies on fish like this around
to see what you'll do into the double shield lineup of Trikic.
I mean this is, it feels like stars did a great bit of perp-booking right, particularly
all the information attackers knowing that the only other way to get intel in an operator
lineup is gonna be shield operators most likely and then they play across the traps
right, the Nari, Thorn, Ella and there are supports being at the north and even the mirror
windows.
It's a really good read, Gryffindor and Telecom have brought counters of their own though,
again the Twitch can deal with maybe the mirror windows and if not then the trap operators
and the Ash can definitely deal with the mirror windows himself.
Let's see what happens in the server though.
Base straggler's curvy and the basement of West Main Stairs are not here by the first bit of action.
Entry over the woods.
Dame's in a sharp shot!
courtesy of the F2, and now up close under pressure, Yuuki's slapped to the ground.
So it's a good value from the shields early here, Norr still up, Mortar in hand, and damage
onto NL to keep them on T at bay.
Now down to about 50 HP, so evidently Norr getting some value in this round, but Fishleg
is isolated from the rest of the team.
Wreck and Nina looking to be proactive inside of Piano.
I know that Norris in the action as well so the shields have to be cautious
It works a bit like a boom I'm aware if you get hit by the gas you can hold it to pull it out
However, it doesn't stop you from taking damage when that fire first ignites
So you saw in those how far they was taken down and it stopped
That's what he took out of his shield here same stories. We're gonna get injured. He's wanted to be actually just get that on time
Of course, you know, I think it did with the gadget and then chase them, but you couldn't bear if you lens one more though
Then that puts an out of a really weird position where he probably is going to be too comfortable pushing forward the north still up
But Demik takes up for that by taking the mirror out of play
Munoz as well now solo these shields kept it bay nicely
And it just there is a bit of a spanner in the works here for Trippie
Also, we'll just kind of denial minds you on that wall by defaults of finish not be a possibility here
Trippie has to go for kills, but he has no help for you, so all four attackers are less than 30 HP left on their bar.
Only 30 seconds remaining in the round. Flash is now to be deployed late.
Munu could go for a default plant, but his head is exposed and Rack will just trigger discipline.
Nets 2 makes it a third.
And Trippie main telecom have stumbled at that final hurdle.
I recuse though does find a good timing it all up to fish like on that north to try and clutch up
This is a huge round and he does
That's big from scars. They fight back
Beautiful to see a new operator coming to action right there
I mean, yes, we didn't see like any kills at the north gash necessarily
But it made that round so winnable by making sure that all the shields were so long health that a single bullet in the toes
Or in the shoulder would be enough to get that kill confirmation or injure
and again scars I don't feel like they're playing too respectful in the
beginning of that round trying to shut Trippie out from entering a building
initially and losing some gunfights but they certainly started respecting them
in the later half of that only playing in strong positions using the fully
proof or is there a part of the shoot rather that is in fact also fully proof
and locking down the round this week Nina probably the one moment where I thought
oh why have we done that in the three versus four why I might feel a little
bit desperate for a kill that was gonna be a high value operator you know the
mirror high fire a weapon C4 in pocket can do a lot with damage in the server
regardless those guys the a victor is in that round and now leading with two
scoreline is 3 to 1. Yeah it's pretty impressive just how much utility the
north level to layer and I think it does kind of scared trippy a little bit
probably both shield plays and they're calling up they were low and then just
disrupted their kind of structure there for the final part of the portion and
ultimately it does prove quite costly and rounds are going to come at a premium
against scars so being able to stack them here in the first half would have
been great but unfortunately that's not the case into the fifth we go and scars
actually electing to go down to basement it'll take me a little bit I'm gonna
bring up the numbers in terms of chalet so globally over the last week and a bit
this site has only been played 10 times the next model is kitchen dining at 60
the basement is definitely not the preferred side of choice for the defects
and there's a reason for that 80% in favor of the attack okay
Bruton on three seer, Bannock tricking also not successful by the main breach
of snowmobile. It's always tricky when there's a drone hole right next to the wall that you're
banning juggling because you'll toss a grenade in, and that'll be that. You also pop the
Goyer fire with it, so even if you were to start the grenade damage itself, you would
burn right away after. Smoke grenade at switching to the other side, and a glass on the other
side, and a two-stroke going deeper into the side itself than I knew of the information
you got you. It's a matter of waiting up a trippy. They have a couple of dosages. They
They have four more smokes in pocket, so plenty of time to wait here to enable the glass.
Well, that could get caught here if NL continues his push through Piano.
Well, that could be like ships at the night though as NL wants to pass through when he
gets a free kill.
Good read, good patience, and trippy with the player advantage.
The roaming thermite, not what you expected in this round, but it is going to be a winning
ingredient.
Still two more smokes now in the pocket off the twitch so glass can just keep throwing out the last one here
Peek through them. It feels like they're ready though. This smoke could be the push if we were to go try and go for pet on the boost
Still a nitro in play for the defense, but no gas babes
But there's a path forward for the plant. Moody to push
Full stop, but they did draw out that nitro cell and there's still one smoke available for the attack
This is well primed for Trippie.
Minutary position, back inside the smoke,
but Nina still finds an angle despite that.
Wow, really thought that that was going to be
well covered and well masked, but not the case.
And Trippie, much like the last round,
I think you're going to struggle to move into a plan B,
but a good flush from Enel.
It finds an advantage back for Trippie.
He though now stole courtesy of the Goyo.
This looks really rough, but trippy. I'll now need to try and stack through the
breach and that does force that backline into play, but NL gets caught.
Demik now to go for another plant attempt as Arakazo tries to cover and he
does so successfully. Nina now in a 1 versus 1. Shotgun!
Inhand Demik trying to create space and he does! Just create enough. Trippy doing a
great job to grind out that round oh my god again such a good way of playing
utl versus utl having more smoke grenades the enemy has toxic babes in c4 so
you thought of smoke toxic babes smoke toxic baby keep going like that onto the
defenders have nothing left you just go for a free plant in theory at least
somehow Nina found the smoke wall bang headshot and somehow gonna build around
the shield of the blitz because he was being protected I don't know how that
happened and I also think that in that moment there's a small mistake there
made by Chubim in Telecom because they're planting on the right hand side
off the bridge in a smoke grenade. You're gonna know as scars kind of wear
that plantage and of course you can get lucky with a bullet. Ideally if the
glass is gonna cover the right hand side you'd want to plant on the left hand
side because that way the glass is kind of looking towards the dangerous
position. Instead the glass is watching towards the connect the door but
Nina can actually get the shutoff deep from one seller as the wall between the
bombsite was opened up. So maybe a small oversight there from Dochi on the glass
but on the left Demik turns up Bik here in the final moment. The shotgun shell
from Nina put him down to having 20 HP so very close there to a round win but not
quite enough.
A big round for Trippie as they look to contend against Skars and they're voluntarily in
the mix now and even half and it would really be quite impressive.
I think they'll now have a little bit of motivation that this does feel possible and again it's
A matter of survival for them, they don't really have too much of an option.
Let's see how this 6th round does develop as we back over towards bargaming.
One out last time behind the defense.
Skars with some different pieces this time, notably the pulse.
And triple nitro up. All Skars.
The pulse return has been a beautiful thing to witness in the last couple of patches.
the Reaper of course being added to his kit and then getting buffed also right
before the Esports World Cup started. He built in to play the post shotgun
primary Reaper secondary and it's just generally speaking has been a much stronger
operator in recent times. He was diving to see a lot of defenders using the
verticality bit more on the soft floor that the map has to offer. Scars will
try and do that here as well. They actually fall back and surrender library
extremely early this time around. Perhaps like I said to utilize the verticality
with the pull scanner, the C4s, and doubling down with the kite claws to lock down those
hatches. The only problem is there's a thatch here in play. They can just EMP the kite
claws, breach any of the walls of hatches, and this is going to be trippy peeling back
those layers uncomfortably quickly here from the side of scars.
That's one nitro down as well. Nina fails to find anyone. Still two though remain, and
those could be pretty influential later on in the round. Tripping in the meantime we'll
invest some of that
time to turn it towards the objective
some of that coast now has been identified as cleared by
munu
similarly to last time we'll rotate over towards this main
double window position
but with double bar stock
hold here to deploy the shield, some coverage
this is not going to be a straight-thru
for the attack and not made any easier courtesy of washui
finding that first kill
uh... great angle to find
Now, there is a world where you can try and catch the next topsy-dake in the air with the EMPs here.
Okay, never mind, as I said, not to be.
But still, they can fight the C-Force later.
A plant is hit only possibly. You can throw in a smoke grenade, dummy with BB, go for a plant.
Thatcher has to catch both of the C-Force that's remaining, and you have to watch the flank above,
which no one is currently watching.
Yeah, no one's watching.
No one's watching the flank above.
This is the safe plant denial, and there we go.
The attack completely perpetulating.
a strong end to the half from Skars, they're up. Four rounds to two.
We're back in the server, and a good bit of a vibe trick there with good tunes.
Skars taking a very comfortable lead 4-2 starting on the defense, but honestly, Tribumane Telecom
aren't too far behind them.
There's been a couple of close rounds and close moments, but with the side swap, I'm
I'm wondering if that's going to continue, because Shelly tends to go in favour of the attack.
Yeah, let's see how this one goes. It's been pretty intriguing so far.
It was definitely a very scary start to the match for Trippie, but they showed some pretty good glimpses and a couple of key moments,
and that's now just kept them within a challenging distance.
Defense though, a whole different kettle of fish on this map, and going to be a good tester for them.
I'm sure we'll come out of the gates pretty strong here fired up ready to go
Quite catch the bands. Okay, so double trap from scars
I'll a thorn out of play and double info from Chippy with the snake and groom benched
Have we into an error you think us where if you don't then like solid snake and Monty on like
80% of maps you're kind of trolling or what what's the Korean like temperature check on solid snake as an operator?
Oh, you reckon?
I'm kind of building to myself like I feel like solid snake just kind of sir almost like when solids could see Jones in prep face
It circumvents so many mechanics that he just to offer and visual newt and I buy aren't like super meta for the grown
Yeah, I think I would agree. I feel like maybe joining needs to be brought to the forefront a little bit more
I don't think you necessarily have to touch strings all that much to make it happen
But we probably do at some point need to see snake and or they most probably adjusted a little bit
I think they're fun operators. I definitely like the being in the game at times, but
Probably just needs a slight chin down. I don't want to see them taking out the packet shot
But I do hope that eventually
See the be not as must pick slash ban as they kind of are the bone
No, the rainbow six mobile game
They actually have the droning after death mechanic, but they've given them a battery so that when you're dead
You can keep using Jones actively but only a certain timer hold that thought real quick blitz in the building fish like it's a first flash bang off
But does not really push after thinking it might be a trap. It could be a crossfire. You'd be right to think so
There were two different players waiting for him to push
Yeah, there's a battery on the mobile version and it wouldn't really buff the early state of the Jones
But I would buff that if you were to die as an attacker
you can still help out your teammates and the more that I feel like attackers have like
ways to get into the basement drowning the more I like to do it in the in-buffed big
boomerang below.
Yeah that was big.
What's your Rainbow Six mobile rank Nick?
See I can't even lie because I don't know if it's the same as on the PC client.
I have no bullets to give my mobile.
I gotta say I think I'm due for a new phone before that happens.
My phone is not happening at this time right now unfortunately I am on my-
Mr. Goss?
I see. Do you have a rank?
I don't know if I've got a rank, but I did play a little bit of rank, so maybe...
All right, well this ground has gone by pretty quickly
and unfortunately for Trippie not in their favor.
There's a great triple impact to get things going and Skars have been able to
steamroll that momentum throughout the mid-round.
Don't you the last one standing? Solar, solar side that will give office completely to the side of the attack.
It's the case of getting with Shaw in a plant position, but even that not required
Crows marching forward towards a map win
Marching storming Russian running sprinting they're definitely doing it fast
I mean, it's in the build of a fish like and take a bit of a breather
So if he gets in the action they go up the staircase to find all the kills and right off the rip
Tribumentelecom will call for a technical timeout not liking the result of that round
And I agree with them. That is not the way you want things to go
Pretty quick attack, but yes, they also don't have all that long to start doing this matchback
such as the nature of the best of one can finish before it really gets started.
And with their stage on the line, these next rounds, or certainly the round after the tactical
timeout here, I feel as if it's critical.
If Skars go back to back especially if it ends up being an dominant round, I don't really
know if Trippie will have the resilience to be able to bring this one back.
So I'm with you on that and as I also kind of alluded to before, this is usually an attacker
heaven. Like you kind of want in a peripheral to get like a three or four round yourself
on the attacking side. Boom, you're in a great spot. Only getting the two, I guess scars
is four in defense. It just means that you're going to be fighting a lot harder for each
enemy snicker rock to bring it back into your favor. And of course scars being the more
experience team, the paper also the banner team. Not to count Tribune Telecom out of the equation,
but they haven't really made that splash that I was hoping for when they debuted earlier this year.
They had a great start, they won their very first game as unfortunately, I remember they were clearly
thinking oh my god there's gonna be a new team in the region and then they kind of fell apart
ever since. Obviously, Dongwook, who is the former PhD talent manager actually, is currently the coach
for your mental outcomes so I do feel like he has to support staff member does
have a pressure in his shoulders to get some decent results and he's all
spoken in the past on social media and how hard it can be to find a team and
build it in Korea for example there's not that many to two players to pick from
and a lot of human players either taken already or in more recent history like
Lisa for example Dave retired so it's a bit hard to get together like an A-list
team redot holsters. So the gnar here to reappear in the eighth round and unfortunately there's
no shielding plate so unfortunately gnar is not quite useless but probably pretty close
to it unless you're going to be in some kind of plant position, plant in opposition maybe
I guess like if you're playing bar stock and deny half wall maybe that could be possible
But, the feels of generally speaking without a shield to directly counter, nor is it great to be back right.
Well, you've done a bit for sure.
And I think that's the awkward part about the attacker replays, you see more, they go up the shield and now it's like,
as you say, you're a plant denier, but not guaranteed and to make it even more awkward.
You don't know as a defender if there's going to be a shield or not until you're pretty deep into the round.
Because you would need to spot all five attackers to be certain.
So, you might be dead at that point if you're roaming operators, nor for example, either way, see what they make it do with the operator.
You're all watching wrecked down, sitting in the basement, looking for a backstab here which could be fruitful because Mooner is waiting for my other...
Can I be called by surprise? Ooh, what if I was to kill, but we're going to go trade back.
You're just able to sneak up in close distance despite that barbed wire.
That means that Skars are not quite out of this round just yet, but can they connect
the pieces?
A lot to still deal with from the defense.
A 3-1 stack from TrippieManeTelecom 3-5 and it's just, our cars are down below inside
of Barstock still with three gas babes are positionally tripping in a good position.
Is there potential though for Skars to be able to isolate these players?
We'll see what they can cook up here.
Throwing a beam shot away there from Dochi, playing with a half wall of office.
It's a very strong power position.
There's no more frag in his left pocket off Wreck on the demo, so getting rid of him
could become a problem.
Not that the bomb site is in this area, but I did want to try and hunt down those players.
The demo track goes out for that exact reason.
I think Douchi is then actually QBarick is fought beneath him, trying to stick around for as long as possible,
but Rekk finds them across the building by the blue staircase.
30 seconds.
Ken Scars get themselves on to match point.
Just the one Ken Della here for Nino, and in the meantime, Yuki's does fall.
No quick temporary death mark, going to look to try and outflank Barstok.
Successful.
So NL and Dochi now to try and retake position. NL far isolated. In the meantime the diffuser did fall and there's only 5 seconds. Dochi up, up, Nina forced the plant inside all the smoke. This should be round over.
Nina could have stuck that. He may have been able to stick that right at the end. A couple of shots did land, so I think it would have been round over. Unfortunately, they're four scars.
Good from Trippie, they do successfully convert that tactical timeout.
They still got some fight lift in them, not gonna give up just yet.
Again, it is chalet, like these rounds can flip extremely quickly.
Often we talk about the opening and kill engagement being super high in value.
And I think the reasoning for that more so than other maps is, you often see people hard hold one location.
For example, on this round of fire defense, you can hard hold the top blue staircase, the mission infront of the library area.
area and if you just get a couple of kills there and fall back that could be
round over. That wasn't the usual round of chalet we saw Moonoo getting two
kills and blazing blue staircase and then Rick flanking him from below as well.
It was a very awkward spot to be in for both teams arguably but as long as you
find more kills in the period you've been losing really there'll be a great
spot to continue throughout a round.
Pitching up next, a site that saw just the one appearance back in the first half, and
it was a success for Trippie, that time though on the attack.
So we'll see if they can, uh, represent success here on the opposing side of defense.
Double shield blind up from scars in the ninth round.
Funnily, the law of not to actually be selected this time out by Trippie, with a bit more
of a license for the shields to be more proactive and play a more aggressive frontline position.
I thought that maybe there was going to be potential for a direct trophy side entry and
hit, but it seems as if they'll hedge their bets with a bit of a split attack with direct
Bar side and other moving pieces solar side
Up to switch up here from the side of stars and look at the confidence here once a bomb site finger
Who's double shield to go in they take it back outside watching for a thing instead actually you don't want the side just yet
Oh, no, no that they have it
But break us out running control. No one is there with them though
Oh, the defense up a par with the third unable to really deny that plant, Solace not having
impact and Skars will cut them down as they look to get back. Now through this objective.
Oh, it's devastating for Trippy, it's unfortunate. Skars have been able to exploit their positions
in this round and it will be flawless. Skars, on to match point.
The confidence there, I mean, there was Monty in the bombsite alone because Reg left and
to go watch his own flank from the fireplace area of the map instead I'm
thinking there's no way to go for a plant here but they did smoke monty plans
to get back into the bombsite with wreck and then there's a complete lockout
the flawless round scars took that previous round personally and said you
know we can do a lot better than that and watch this attack instead very fast
pace just finding the gaps getting in where it's clear going for a back step
by the bomb site that's all you really need right now should be there force
into an awkward spot off we gotta have one guy by the bomb site and four people
roaming, kind of supporting it above, but if they get on the side, the anchor, as we
call it, if you were to die, like we saw previously, you will lose all access for the retake.
You cannot drop down the hatch in the longer, you have to walk down the staircase, the attack
is waiting for you, and it gets extremely ugly very quickly.
Final up and events have come out, you see them on my beam of the way, and they're dangerous.
So less protection for the defense, and less intel again here for the attack, very similar
Our fashions saw it from the scars and they were defending the Solisnik, the Grimm and the Demos.
Well Trippie's stage now is very much on the line.
Unfortunately for them, of course, with scars now on six rounds total, maximum they could walk away with is two.
You can see that some of the live standing updates there pending this result for scars of wind will be massive
It really bolstered their opportunity for a top four finish, but it would leave trippy
stranded down below on the standings.
Currently on zero, they ought to find something here.
But it will require three defensive rounds rather in a row, but a full clean rotation
from them against a skies opposition.
I feel like as the match is going on it's probably going to build more and more confidence.
There's been a bit of disruption from Trippie but it's haven't quite been as refined and
that's going to be one of the biggest difference maker in this matchup.
Candela's early big YouTube belching from stars as they look to try and flood this
half-war position and break on the glass outside of the breach.
Epidifying the first kill with Shui as well lights up the kill feed, falls in response.
they're planting all the nitro was in the hands of moonoo but wreck covers that as well and it feels
like it's inevitable surely scars will be able to hold on in the post the blitz flash onto demik
and now the last one standing solar side it's been a clean attack from scars and overall
a great map from them deserving of the win deserving of all three points and unfortunately
for Trippie, their stage now basically is over.
Yeah, what a convincing way in the final two rounds there from the set of stars to guide
and speed up the pace right now.
You know, we're playing too slow.
Just get in there.
Not ready for, not watching the right angles.
The Bits gets in, the first quarter combat, gets the first fly off and instantly hits
the plant right after.
Supported by the glass, supported by the entire team, in fact, what a convincing way for
the stars to finish this match.
You know what's convincing again trippy boy gave them more of a challenge
Honestly, then I expected of course able to gather three rounds over the course of the match
And I think overall there are a couple more that were actually pretty close
So look credit to them. They put up a decent fight, but they're not quite good enough in the end scars
Clearly pretty switched on from the onset they kind of match up that can trip you up and again a couple of rounds where we get
See that play through but ultimately in the end scars were just the better team as we expected
Yeah, and I think Tribute have this problem of identity crisis.
They try so many different maps, different playstyles, different operators, and it feels
like it half clicks for a moment, then they get a hard counter, like yesterday's matchup,
they're 0-7-users, B-configurics, you go up against Scars, then we go to Shalade, play
a whole different playstyle, it kind of works, kind of doesn't, and I'm sure that for play
before, they might try and do something else.
They haven't been stable enough to figure out what their identity actually is, and for
reason they continue to struggle. Yeah I mean the reality is they quite literally might not have
too much to lose. It's basically going to be mustering for them from this point onwards which
is a very difficult prospect in a region that has been quite competitive especially in the mid table.
It's a lot of questions up in the air for them and the side of scars I think the first is that
they are so back. A big win over Kiritrobe yesterday, a very one-sided win over KennyDima
enemy 7-1 that was in the very first playday and now I'm down to the main telecom. It feels like
the real test is going to be those top top teams against them. We're speaking of teams like your
D-plus, like your CAG, maybe even BAKF because they seem quite strong as well right now and I
love that for SCARS because there was a small period of time where I was thinking, ah they're a bit
behind the top teams so they're kind of in that awkward middle portion but they've been digging
themselves out of that in recent times. I mean funnily enough actually the next matchup will be
against CHE and that will, I mean I'm looking across at the picture, that's most definitely
going to be the match of the day, like that's going to be super exciting. Could you,
could you imagine a world in which guys actually walk away with all three points or a minimum
win in that matchup? That would probably be pretty crazy and maybe a sign that they're back to
their very best and if they're at their very best then I think there will be a proper freehorse race
in terms of who could take just that one slot that's on offer here for APAC and on.
Yeah you see our schedule right now, we are halfway through the day, we had a seven four,
We had a 7-3, but this I think is what we're gonna expect a lot more closer games, right?
Maybe a 7-5, so your OTs, KineTrupp up against D plus Kia, KineTrupp coming off a loss from yesterday's match against Scars
We're gonna go to a quick break and load back with more action
I'm looking right at you
So I did a lot of things.
When I was a kid, I was very rebellious.
I would do things that I didn't want to do.
It was really bad, but I would walk, play soccer, or play basketball.
I would do everything I could.
And then, I would have more of a facility.
I couldn't play outside, so I couldn't physically do it.
For example, I could play games in the hospital.
I was told that I was going to be the main character, and I was told that I shouldn't be the main character, so I wasn't really influenced by that.
I think the game I played when I was young was the most fun to play with my friends.
The basic school was sleeping, playing games at home, playing games at night, and sleeping at school.
It was always like that.
Now that I think about it, it's all thanks to my family.
Being able to enter this e-sports conversation and become a professional gamer,
it's like earning more than a person's salary.
This is the only thing I can thank you for.
When I first started playing C.G.,
it was my first time playing at my friend's house.
It was a great impression to play with my friend,
but I've been playing C.G. for a long time.
It was a great impression.
I think it's a bit of a different feeling.
I don't think I've ever experienced anything like that in other games.
I think that's the kind of thing that's good.
I think I've been playing since season 0.
When I started playing for the first time,
I felt like Minecraft was doing it for everyone.
I felt like I was the only one who was playing for the first time.
I didn't have that kind of impact in Japan.
I think I've been the strongest since the beginning,
and I think I'm the strongest and I don't lose to anyone.
I was in a good mood.
You call me, you call me, you call me
You call me, you call me, you call me
You call me, you call me, you call me
For the day you called me
I said not a fan from the moment
Shut up, keep a look through a red chip on the floor
But we've been a fool man
So how you like tonight?
Hey, cause you're blind, you're blind, blind
I never hear the ring when I work
Cause it's on my phone
Phone on fire
I'm a bad boy killer killer
Like a star, me die killer killer
I get down down down, set it right there
I'm a shiver, that's life, that's lovin'
I don't need a lie
I don't want to say it's a problem
My value is
My own color
Tick tock, tick tock, I can't take it anymore
That's still so amazing
Take back, take back
I'm not crying
I'm slowly going
I'm telling you something
I'm not going to let you go
I'm not going to let you go
I'm going to get all the power
Bet you're making a moment
I'm not going to let you go
I'm not going to let you go
I'm not going to let you go
I'm all through, I'm waiting all night
Take it to my mind, bye-bye
I never hit a theme when I work as a ton for all
Oh no, yeah
Yes, it's the first scenery
You and me, we're from Asia, right?
You know you're never the key
No one's gonna say no
As if it's alright
You gotta use your time
It's like a real change
I'll put it on you, keep it right in the back
I won't go back, just do something
I won't give up, let's go
I don't care, tell me something
I won't give up, I won't give up
I won't give up, I won't give up
I'll try my best, I'll try my best
The train is down for you.
She's for you.
You're a soccer major Takoyaki Crouch.
I'll be back.
You're a soccer major, Takoyaki Crush.
Next, the excitement.
Osaka, Mejia-den
Welcome back, we've entered the second half of tonight's schedule.
That means we're officially the halfway point and we've had some exciting endeavors so far
I wouldn't say any upsets as of yet, but certainly some high-level octane matches most notably
We just had scars which is trippy a one-sided matchup
But I think that's gonna chase not close because next up he neutral versus D plus
Yeah, I mean let's hope so when we saw the schedule at the start of the night
It felt like first you would kind of be curtain raises and hopefully the third and even potentially the fourth as well
It would be quite close and competitive. So yeah fingers crossed
So I think this will be an exciting game, especially KinoTrope from their perspective, looking to bounce back after yesterday.
Yeah, it was never... I'm not sure if I want to say heartbreak in defeat, but it started off at one side of the stars, KinoTrope they started making that comeback happen, but then got shut down at the end.
And I think for a long time, if you're to compare the KinoTrope versus D-plus conversation, you'd say, ah, easy win for D-plus, they should take that one, they're the better team.
But I can't help but feel like in the last 3-4 months that gap has been closing.
Kynotrope, they're getting better and better and D-plus, they have made some roster changes, right?
They're not like the same team building, the same killer, taller and taller and taller.
They take some of those pieces away, they rebuild it.
So I feel like this actually might be the perfect opportunity for Kynotrope to cause that upset.
Yeah, potentially. In terms of their performance up until this point,
When attacking has been their down 436% win rate there whereas defence has been a more
stabilised 50% off.
That does still trail though against some of the big hitters in the league so far.
So they have performed sort of below expectations that we thought they'd be able to achieve
this stage and I'm sure themselves but of course still plenty of time to be able to
turn that around and I think at least able to take some positives away from that result
yesterday.
I think it would have been highly disappointing to have walked away with no points to show
against Skars, so they at least got one for show for that performance, but it's our three-point
gap for that top four. They can't afford from this point onwards to lose too many more games,
so this is a pretty critical matchup for them, one in which they'll be looking to be highly competitive.
And then, of course, that's going to cover everything about CUNYTRIP. What about their
opponent in D plus? I mentioned they made a couple of roster changes. Who are the new guys on the
block? You might be asking, well, you see them right here. Ion joined the ranks together with
Yuri and it's actually been a phenomenal start for them. You do the stats, Ion 17 and 13 so far, plus one entry, Yuri 16 to 12, but the reason it's not just the stats themselves, it's how they got them, okay?
Ion is going to be the in-your-face kind of player, almost like Nier's, the player in which he replaced. This guy always wants to fight. You see the second to the operators, he plays the son of Snake, plays the Asami.
For Yuri though, take a look at this, ok? He's on the monkey, and he's going to get so many kills with right-picking people,
being the entry, being an aggressive kind of shield player, when he needs to be on the other side,
he'll also be the planter, when it's not going to be about him becoming an entry player.
So, I'd ask you to like the applause while they are, and new team of Eastern New Members,
they're gelling quite successfully and quite well together already.
If your first two play days highly successful at 73 victory over double rx into a 7 3 victory over
Can you be my enemy now when you look at terms of their quality of that opposition so far?
I think it's will be fair to make an argument that they are in the lower end of this section
So today is going to be the most difficult match so far provided
Kinatrop are here to play a deep us a certain kind of roster where I've sensed over the last
How many stages they're not really too feared by anyone and whilst they may never
Well, they may never go into every single match considered favourites.
I don't think they go into any matchup scared or, you know, not being willing to put up a fight.
So I think this matchup will be really interesting for both perspectives,
with KineTrip looking about in the back and D-Plus looking to prove that they have what it takes against one of the better teams in the region.
Do you tend to go into one of these two teams and say,
I think that this team will have my slight favour?
Do you think it's map dependent?
What's going to be like the deciding factor for you guys between these two teams?
It's tough. I think again when you consider the quality of the opposition for D plus up until this point
I don't know if we've seen this generation of the roster truly tested
So I think it I mean, it's a bit of a cop-out answer
But I feel like it's a little tricky gauge. Just who is the favorite in this matchup. You then also factor in KineTrip
Not looking the greatest yesterday. It's tough. I think
My heart was at that KineTrip, but my brain is telling me that the across will probably be a little bit more well-rounded
So I think I'll go with the plus in this matchup, but it's pretty similar to this.
is left in, I did not cheat, I didn't peep. It's going to be Chalet actually, so I backed
the backer in the scar spots we just saw, now onto Q and trope versus D plus. But it's
actually D plus opting to choose the final mapbam, because they found the fortress leaving
Chalet open. And neither of these two organizations have
lost Chalet since March in 2026. With D plus K, it's a 3-0 record, most recently played,
1 against double Rx and for Kino Trope a 4-0 record that's recently played and beat Skars
on the LNR.
So this is a good battleground for these two teams to go at it.
So that's Kino's reaction.
You see the stats right now in the recent forums.
There are some wins here from D-plus in recent history.
It is September 10th, a confidence weak opponent, some double Rx and can you beat my enemies.
So I guess if you're for maybe he does not truly tested as of yet, Kino Trope.
It could be that opponent to take them the entire way, hopefully, from Aisle at least, into all the time.
Yeah, let's see.
Whichever way it falls, of course, is the neutral observers, we don't really mind all that much.
I don't think it's close to doing that.
It's false.
I was gonna say, I thought it might have been you for a second, Nick, but I think...
Nah, that's a full head of hair, so I don't think it was you.
All right, buddy, reel it in.
Okay, listen, okay, I'll give you a head down, okay?
I was like gonna lie.
My hairline has been receding bad.
There's been a couple of times this stage
where I've looked at my forehead and I've been like,
ooh, I may have to start considering shaving soon.
You could join Rob and I.
We've both been there.
And in fact, Rob is still down there with a shave then,
but he looks great.
He's a beautiful bald man.
Yesterday, D plus Key has official R6 Twitter account
posted the entire five-man team of the Siege roster
doing like a tiktok-esque dance, that right there was just,
uh, Falls was in the middle of the portion there,
just cropped out in a solo performance,
because he was beating him, okay?
He did a great job.
If you haven't, go to the Twitter page there.
Oh, actually, we're gonna play right here for you.
Look at that.
The new guys in the back, they're hiding Ion and Yuri.
They don't want the action,
but Falls is giving it a hundred percent.
Look at that.
I have not seen that.
I was so confused as well.
How that was, okay.
Oh, good man.
Look, the vibes are good in the D plus key.
I mean, I get that impression sometimes that they are a bit of a five-base team.
Simply based on some of the performances that we have seen in the past on them.
So, we'll see if they can get off to a strong start here on Shallay the Bands as follows.
It was the Miramonte in the first wave, and then the Maestro Brava against the Montalera in the second.
Insane. So, this is actually the exact same thing that happens in King of the Scars.
However, it wasn't in the very beginning of the matchup. It was a third operator ban as a reactive counter, right?
It was scars of strutting as the maestro to the band had away
Genetrope, the band of Brava, hoping that the bicep would have been left open.
The fact that both of the teams perfectly read into it here is phenomenal prep work as well.
It is...
Genetrope is the team that plays the most out of my showing in the entire world of CSK1 professional play, and it's not by a little
it's by far. They'll take almost everything around that they want to almost every single map
and I think so far this takes them to the last.
Cricks may stake in, move towards library, now through mezz for Yuri. Red ping down below
onto the clash, one of the best counters into that shield. It's a quell, we'll want to make sure
that he's well positioned to prime the ready to deal with that blitz when push comes to
to show up in the meantime though, the play courtesy of the ram, because Key will be pretty
satisfied with the amount of space that they've been able to take early in this round with
little risk taken.
Now Kawa's speech is to say that they brought the game back against Scarce and got into
the OT, and what's about playing the pocket strats, and pocket strats is like a one-off
strats you play a single at a time in order to catch opponents by surprise, and they're
kind of doing the same thing here.
We just saw Kawa with the Klairs walking deep into fireplace, threatening a flank, and then they went to speed it over the stunts and guess what Kawa's gone.
He's just prodding and prying and being a nuisance in the server.
In a trope, their goal today, and their goal so far this entire stage is not to play conventional, usual siege.
Try and see if people can prop us off against it.
We got the planks upstairs, we're going to go for the hatch before our plant, and also just found they're going to take onto a Klairs.
I'm pulling up too long until we see the drop in towards the objective and it's Yuri to lead the charge
Akai with his final gas pipe to be deployed. No denial.
Hasn't gone though for the down plant immediately and Yuri actually goes for the kill?
Why do you get caught out?
The shotgun up close.
Fortunately Falls was patient up above and able to trade the swing and it is sight control now.
Gained by the attack.
Got scary there for a moment.
Well, falls last and overall a pretty stable attack from DPSK.
What did I say about Yuri?
Not your usual shield player.
I mean, he'll plant if he absolutely has to, but he thought, you know what, I could get just one more kill for my team.
I go into Stalker, flash him, ADS should be a freebie, takes a shotgun, shows straight to his feet
and doesn't get to live for any more of that round.
But regardless, very successful attack, opening pick into a swift execute,
No mistakes made from D-plus KIA and no real gaps that open for KINOTROP to utilize.
Yes, they have the clash, but on that far bomb side, it's not going to be the most efficient operator,
lot of verticality, lot of hatches, and flying it into fireplace makes a ton of noise,
and you're going to be very open and exposed.
Yeah, I think from the perspective of D plus key are going to be intriguing to see if that
kind of tempo where they leverage the Blitz is going to be something that ends up being
a commonality in this first half.
And then if it is to be the case, how can the Chep go about trying to slow that down,
trying to get their turns. Sometimes it can be difficult on the side of defense to be
the turn for a set up because typically it's the attack that have to be the ones to play
make and steer ahead how the round is to be played out. Riding up next in a trope, we'll
see how they look to leverage and this big bout of plantar now
shout out there to a ion with the rainbow's magic mental skin you see
here again a very loud and bright skin if you like those sorts of things look
in for another rush it looks like though I mean so they're repelled in green be
all of solar they jump in whispering with two different operatives and trophy at
the same time they're gonna hit the bomb site or bomb sign or so what staircase
I didn't mind.
Okay, Akayu able to net that first kill.
Midi takes space though.
Move towards West Main and in the chaos, I don't think you'll be hurt, but the projectile
is, doesn't matter.
Akayu was dislodged.
Had an opportunity to maybe hit the spray, but it doesn't land.
Midi now with sight control.
Let me still outside no diffuser collected ID plus. This is a strange round
And spider bongos all upstairs a cow all kind of watching over it
No much of this apart for the shock and it's just a sleeve feeling close distance
And even if the bus wouldn't get the case picked up. I mean go for a plan
It's a very very chaotic round. It could be yoga turns lingering around could be about Kemsworth building as well
Well, they gotta re-stabilize them, how and get some structure to this round because look at the defense here
They have fully retaken top floor, breaking all the floor apart
Then maybe someone finds another kill and so all of a sudden falls also maybe to stop landing
Yeah, little bee denied
Vertical control for KineTrope needs to be converted into that to not as a BPC
in play
So the critical oversight from
KineTrope in this round
Probably could have been an opportunity for them to prevent that diffuser from being planted either way
We'll see if they could unlock the post but a player down in some great positions here from the attack forcing hyper regression
Gallerata
That's isolated outside the map
And I on able to go on to find a second in this post plant
10 seconds for Kawao the only thing he could do from here
He's trying stat pad
Let's find a shotgun kill on to Levy down at long range, the D plus Kia, it's back to
back successful attacks.
I think this is just a good prep work that we're seeing from D plus, I mean every single
round so far has just been premeditated executes right, they get the blitz, they get the dogabee,
they get the line in very specific positions, 3, 2, 1 and the attack the side itself, it
wasn't the exact push I was actually expecting.
I thought the Blitz was gonna go into the bottom side of Kitchen Dining, rather than trying to attack the Solarium staircase.
Because the player on the rappel in the player trophy window would have locked Hawa's stock on the staircase instead.
But I guess the one at the free kill first, built that man advantage, then hit the side after.
So Kinochrope, they start off around in the right fashion, they took down the Blitz, they got the case in the middle of the floor and next to site.
But after that, it's a bit awkward.
They had the Val'kem, the Yoka drones, the BPC, and the default cams, and I think in the midst of that, like I said, too much chaos.
They didn't realize what cam they had to watch, and therefore the plan actually did end up going down a bit of a bummer.
But honestly, KinoTrip are not too far away in that round to get a victory. It's just small things with D plus a pulling ahead.
And we'll see how Kinotrape now look to respond and try to get themselves back into this match
before D plus Kia get a stranglehold.
Again a momentum based team and a lot of their games so it could be difficult to put a breaks,
Debrates on the matchup from the perspective of Kinetrope if you allow it to unravel quickly
And it's a blitz for third round in a row into the clash, which sees a reappearance for Kinetrope
And just trying to be annoying you're gonna find Yuri if you're gonna be a Caillou on the clash and just try and match him one to one
Because that is gonna be the biggest shield down to the server right now
Now, things at the library are dark spot, gonna fall on back and give it up, don't want to sit down too long because once those air-jabs and grenades come flying, you're gonna be as good as dead.
And they actually have 4 frag grenades in this round, bringing both the Maverick and the Deimos, so plenty of spare utility.
He plots again very good early round. They get their first check mark kind of ticked away.
I say okay. We got the first step. What's the second step? Do we want map control? Do you want to go for a bomb site take?
Can we find an isolate member somewhere? Go for a kill?
I think we'll continue to bring the library stairs and...
And above falls will take ground inside of library itself.
And you get it with a good opportunity but gives away that position courtesy of the spray.
About to try and cover from down below when Yuri falls.
So the blitz is off the ball, that's a massive kill from Gadarada.
And there you get it just walks right into the line of sight for falls.
Seemingly unaware that that space had been taken.
That's a critical oversight.
Near the layer 4 versus 4.
Ema and Mitsu also downstairs in the basement is waiting to lock down one of those flanking members potentially and they'll all provide happens.
This is Tawa, who's out on top rather, taking down the demos of play, be a very valuable pick, no more tracking off those loose roamers and also now a number of advantage for Kiritro.
They could fall back, play piano, play master, layoff isn't just, try to play around the Tawa's class right now and make him the playmaker.
I'm reloading.
B versus 4.
Good test here for D plus K.O.
But the clash is still up.
This will prove to be a
tricky one to try and unlock.
Midi has the ability.
Down below in Dining Impact
we'll need to hit the mark, but I was
able to find the clash.
Midi will now go for the route.
I thought maybe over the woods solo, but
surely won't. That would be very high risk.
In the meantime, I'm trying to pressure over the woods half for.
advantage in the round for this attack. 15 seconds, Midi cannot commit to this. He needs
to get that diffuser back towards the objective. It also means that the rest of the attack
needs to spring forward and Gatorada, courtesy of that classroom now, will be in the perfect
position. Time expires. Kinitro, hold on.
Oh man, you were right. Midi was sprinting all the way downstairs from dining up the
libraries there is into the bottom side only to be met with all these teammates dead on the floor
and not not time on the clock to try and get all the way into the side itself and actually
get down the diffuser and even if you were to try there's gonna be three separate defenders
just looking at it with no time left on the clock so it's a stick it could be a clash band right now
that would mean you get rid of two of the trickery operators the mind short and the clash if nothing
the sum is a great choice or some information operators yep it'll be the clash don't make
surprise there and the Blitz so targeting Yuri actually isn't very playing it
every single round it does develop in the black kid that you just pick up right
off the rip or a fuse if you're keen for it or the third option I suppose is
that you stop playing in shields entirely and just play a bit more util and a bit
more execute think of like your ying your capita your glass but also pitch
We'll be looking for them
Hold up hold up we have nor in the game and got a lot of despite that it's actually playing or
You can't jump up hatches
Okay, that is true
fastest operator in Rainbow's and siege and that's his only trick. It's a muscular and very fast man
Yeah, I'm a little surprised as well, but remains to be seen if that will be impactful.
Some interesting repicks as well on the side of D plus key, they'll bring the
fuse into play that retains the Blackbeard, that roll now to fall onto falls,
and it will be double shield. They could go for a pretty direct setup here, double shield,
glass cover, you've got air jabs as well to cut off sight. Even though they're trying to sneak up
there miss you this new thing every that's right I did a fascist but I'm no okay so no
Michael lost on the library flank that's a that's a given with the air jabs lion will
stop everyone from moving but as you get taken that sure is that's lying I think you're flying
the bombs that window whereas now maybe when I try and get a pig somewhere first I'm not sure
I look ready for a show smoke some hand getting tossed out or my man is catched one but in the
There we go. This feels risky. The nitrocell is not particularly effective though. That's
not required. You're able to just stick that plant in time. Of all Vs. V though, in the
post we'll pose problems for the plus keyer. They lose another member. In a trope though,
we'll still need to move quickly. Uh, atorado outside trolling, gathering I guess some attention
from Ion. It wasn't open up enough of a window though for AIGaya who will fall courtesy of
the Glayers. Clean headshot. Levy as well onto a clear kinitrope of trolled this round.
There was an opportunity for them to successfully retake that but they have lundered. D plus
key of punish.
And a great beautiful display there of how to simplify what actually should have been
a very tricky situation. No factory in P means that you gotta cost that C4 to pop in a different
So, Blackbeard jumps in first, says, hey, look at me, and he's pushing towards the
allies out of the stock room, he's forced to use the C4 on the Blackbeard, once the
explosion happens, fuels with the diffuser, then jumps inside the building and starts
planting down the case.
And very commonly, on that barred defense, there's only gonna be one form of plant denial.
Either a smoke, or maybe a single or C4, rarely both.
And look at the defending lineup, it's not really a lineup that says, hey, plant denial,
Renderer, Aurix, 2c4s, no smoke.
It's not really gonna be hard on paper to get that plant down and he probably didn't struggle at all.
The normal opposed plant.
I like the idea of Gadawada running outside but he didn't really manage to get much of a distraction.
Go and never got past that initial ramp from the basement up onto the main courtyard.
So this is kind of jiggle peeking on the statue area and ends up getting one tap by a glass later on.
you know what I'm thinking about it more what I think you are running could
have run is better sink with the mud swing and literally just ash for just
like do something completely stupid to catch that might have worked but yeah
yeah that didn't boil down to a bit of a troll mower with that I'm gonna show you
try as you might we've been good could have been bad look at this still from
D plus I mean this is a disgusting speed of which to take a map control then if
you're solid snake it's a good few place drones he flies in bar checks fire plays
blue staircase fireplace is right by the bums are walls has to use a drone
no because they are mood jammers and if any defenders are standing on the mood
jammer they will not show up on the solid skin scanner so if you could bait
yourself in if you don't keep taps on that while he's gonna play downstairs
we're seeing the main push happen on the box. Yuri and VB take inspiration to add your hallway,
capture with the ace within the main office wall, and they won't attack top floor very quickly
because they're in piano already. Falles take a chunk of damage but exchanges that for time and
it's fast enough to catch it, Clare out. Still peeking over towards the bell, doubles down,
Gatorada, then finds himself exposed. Could be brought back up but it would need to be
swift and unfortunately it hasn't been. Balls to find yet another. Been a great
entry from him over to wars that offers preach position, aya gator as well.
Caught out in the open. D plus Kia, I think it's honestly a bit reflective of
their performance so far. They have been caught off guard by D plus Kia. I have
not been able to keep up with the pressure that this team is delivering
Round after round. Wow, the last one left.
There's an enormous spot over to the trophy exposed by the third forced out clean shot.
But obviously D-plus here, no one to convert the round. It's a 4-1 lead.
I mean, beautiful. There's not much more you can say. There are so many small things happening
simultaneously there for the attack of D-plus. The downstairs room clear, the upstairs take,
falls just walking straight through the ace breach into office. It's the first
pick with the yellow ping with the green bees. Flix always just a Valkyrie getting
panicked and running away gets the second injured. They then duke the C-force
vertically by walking away from the soft wall with the perfect timing. There
really one step out of Kinnotrope at every single aspect right now and they
are showing just how attack our favorite Shelly really can be if you are good on
the attack inside. Absolutely, it's been rough going for KineTrope to start off this map.
Plenty of opportunities for them to start wrangling it back. It's important to reiterate
that the consequences for them having a poor day today will leave them outside of the top
and potentially they'll see themselves trailing by an either larger margin through those top four teams so
Certainly in a rough position at the moment, but not all hope is lost around win here would be okay
You can certainly recover attacking
into a map such as
Chalet
It's gonna be about those 1%ers and being able to compound them because you're right
There's a lot of small moments and a lot of little wins for D plus Kier in these rounds that are leading them to be quite dominant
They're sending up once again
They're jab by the train store against the pillar of hell and plant on the bar to be demonstrating
Blender Akai is there easy two kills for him and his shots done and stops the first entire attack for now
Oh nice from Yuri though, dislodged parrygator with that frag grenade.
We needed to see his response there from Kawhi and that's exactly what we get.
With that kinetrope routine, they play your advantage.
What can falls do? Shotgun in hand on the sledge.
A fight up close would be perfect for him, the frag grenade for the flash,
but Akai runs the wrong way.
Could go for a plant baby though. There is a Valkyrie downstairs, we know that,
But I don't think he puts any information as you nobody watching cameras downstairs. This C4 is not really positioned in the default plan spot
There is a real sense of false. It will back those close up to his left ear and go for a plant if Levy
Get into a spot to cover you can sense the trepidation though falls doesn't feel comfortable
Committing to this plant the longer he waits the more kinetropa able to reposition
Levy does go below can tests the nitrous cell but that defense is back on the second floor
You're thinking, why isn't even the big one there a pal? Well they actually ran out of
basement and baited out the edge which has no coverage, has to be on the side and cover
all the angles himself.
That's him. The plant's secured. They've been entered. The post. If you mind, Fools
does have that shotgun up close and he's looking to use that up close. Frag grenade to stall
out this push a little while longer. There it is! Both him and Levy find a pick and
Well, so low on HP misses the key to barrier.
This sums up Kinetrope's day.
It has not been good enough and they haven't been able to capitalize upon
those opportunities that have been presented.
This has been a well thought out round though.
My D plus Kia about pushes forward.
It was the shot or two does land.
It is not enough to bring the round back.
That was pretty dominant from D plus Kia.
Way into the hard time life, Jake. Up the music!
Not the exact score I was expecting here between KineTrope and Diploskea, but it has certainly
been a match of all time if you're a fan of Diplos because they are running around the
building, they are planting everything around, they are problem solving every single scenario
to perfection.
And that's how we find ourselves at this equation.
Five one attack on Chalet, KineTrope, they gotta do everything and a bit more to make
the combat possible. Yeah it feels like D-plus Keo struck themselves through a
rocket they're on an uphill trajectory pretty rapidly at the moment and the
no signs of them slowing down. I did not expect to see a 5-1 half and if
anything I didn't expect it to be in favor of D-plus Keo I think they have
done a phenomenal job though so far tonight. Now the bands for the second half
Grim Snake, Mirro, and a fourth operator that I didn't quite get to see in time as
We look back at that sixth round an opportunity gone astray for guinotrope, but D plus K it falls especially in this round
slow
Disciplined a problem solved that to absolute perfection
They got really good value of that shot down position up close as well that frontal band
Well mine
Let's see how this second
He is the entry, he is the clutcher, he is the planter, he is getting so much value.
Most of them in the last round.
He is quite the player in the server.
And I think for a long time I've actually got a force, it's also the primary IGL of the force, but actually it's Mitty.
Falls is a vocal guy, you have all been sure, but Mithy is the primary RGL.
We learned that during some of the interviews with him last stage,
and it certainly surprised me to hear, because we always speak to Falls in interviews,
which often will be like the captain or the leader, and those often become the RGL, of course.
The brother in play available here in the second half. It was
Competed by a maestro band back in the first half so we didn't see
Any play of that particular operator clod strings here going to be great into the default cams the denari tripwires and of course the
Thorn razor blooms as well from this defensive lineup. We're looking to try and keep the attack at bay
Over the wards library pretty aggressively making barriers facilitating that
He plus Kira though, I'm gonna say somewhat respecting it by peeling back, but no they'll hold their ground for now
Yep, just kind of waiting for the right time to strike for the right time to maybe give this up
As long as they have Kira, Spare in pocket and Toxic Bear some falls, I think they can kind of fight it out, actually
Once the shields are in, that's when it gets tricky and hearing comes to Monty
I'm not really sure what does. I can't hear you though, falls. One shield down
down, down just one left standing and under so much pressure, getting sandwiched by this
defense and the coverage as well looks pretty compromised. D plus Keo just playing me so
much freedom at the moment. Kawao does fight back though. Good catch on to Yuri. Such a
long fight right now, a continuation of just the battle from the very beginning here and
they're not gonna stop, they're not gonna slow down, maybe low on HP, mid and low on
HP Claire somehow still alive with that Monty power finds one traded back by falls
It's still even numbers in the server with 60 seconds to go
I'll be low on ammo at this point as well. It's been the never-ending war in this hybrid position
Midi is the very low on HP though. Ion steps up
Now the Monty is isolated and with the car you still outside. He can't support and so a Claire now finds himself in the grave
D plus KIA now moments away from getting themselves onto a dominant match point position
against KINATROPE, a team with finals aspirations, and whilst a loss here today won't completely
squander it, it will make it more challenging. This has been a great display from D plus.
I mean, remarkable display. I feel like they're just going into this match up where they say
guys the mindset that we're going to have today is that we are better and if a round gets tough
remember we are still better if we keep fighting we'll get around victory. The fact that they do
not back off at any point in this round is kind of outrageous and what happened all of the screen
that we see in the replay here is actually that there was an attempt of a back step by the bomb
side while the library push was also happening on the other end of the building and yet D plus
it didn't send that many bodies towards library but this site was too vulnerable. They were fighting
3 vs 4 on library and 2 vs 1 by the bomb site. That is very impressive and it goes to show that
Kintro were not able to find the gaps or create them themselves. They tried the double shield
and while they were in the building with the Monty for a hell of a long time,
D pluses didn't care about the Monty at all. They let them stare at them, get them the yellow
ping information. They knew that all the other attackers are outside on the single or double
window with no real way in the building.
I have opportunities to close this one out in regulation, now we touted this one as hopefully
being close and competitive but unfortunately we were incorrect.
This has been the D plus KIA show from beginning to what feels like will be a pretty abrupt
end.
in a trip have not been able to find themselves back on this map
v plus keel and run away with things
there's the lineup here for this next attacking effort
uh quite similar in many ways to the previous round
and in fact it is identical
No, it's not. Not quite likely to in play as opposed to the blitz. It seems like it's
really anchored around this braver and kind of value that the world could find. And there
is some of it. The default came over to what's maz. That will help. Well, that will really
help. Okay, I like this.
Oh, they don't realize.
Can they actually do something with it?
One thing is the information, but can they get the kill? Yes, Akaya walks in, does get treated back though.
It's a worth it as a Monty to take down the soldiers. Maybe because you have that second shield on Garurata.
But you'd now lose a lot of map presence as you're now mostly outside the building, so it's kind of back to square one.
And they might have seen the camera being hacked as well, possibly with Meiji checking out which cameras they have access to.
So that would be my first reaction if I get...
Pre-fied by MontyWalketh, he's either cheating or they've got the default can, so...
Yeah, they've shot it, it's gone. Unlucky.
Second clutch drone, they're still available for Kawao, so in fact, potentially still to be found.
In the meantime, Elswey, Gatorade, and other Soul Shield standing is taking space from, you know, side edge of side ult and that.
And I wouldn't be too surprised if there's a sustained fight, Ness, but maybe not.
Hey, Gator, disrupts from below.
The timing there, found by Kienotrope to find another kill for free this time around.
Final 60 seconds, and they got to keep up that confidence, because if they let the timer get too low against the smoke, against the good canisters,
they could lose the round simply on the clock. They can attack here, top metamine, top blue stairs,
trying to find that spot if you like it jumps on in and
Teamplay defaults actually wouldn't be falling back and surrendering that map space for them
35 seconds then on the board diffuser is still on an island of towards that front door position
And so there will promptly rotate to collect it
Hey Gator trying to sneak from below the rays of bloom to impede his progress at Gatorada will meet him halfway. This is tricky
Yeah, this feels a little bit scary for Kinnotrope, but a clay hits a phenomenal shot, patches
falls off guard, 10 seconds they still need to be clean and clinical and so far they are.
Yuri Barstock try and clutch, he falls in an instant.
That is easily the best round we have seen from Kinnotrope today.
They utilize every single second on the clock almost running out of time, but they do it
in a way that ensures perfection in that four versus three push.
I mean the most brutal gunfight that happened there is gonna be Faust who was creeping up
that bottom basements staircase fighting the lion by the main door.
That was the guy carrying the diffuser.
They won that gunfight from D plus that could have changed everything as a time over that
likely hit zero and that would have been that for the game.
They can drop the lid to fight for at least one more round.
They gotta be perfect for four more in a row.
And the issue is, you know, D-Puzz, they can just keep flipping their bombs at rotation.
Start on bar, then go top wall, then go basement, then go kitchen, dining.
All in here is one victory.
One lucky round, one clutch, one nasty spawn peek, and that'll make it that much more difficult
for D-Puzz.
We've got a timer here, yeah, four seconds left, but they found all the kills.
Now we'll see Kitchen up next for D-Puzz.
Yeah, to be a little bit of a shame, but D-Puzz starts to show positive glimpses and having
afforded themselves enough of a buffer to allow for maybe one or even two trip
ups because you know they just don't have that buffer in the tank courtesy of
that first class you can see the round history very very very dominant in the
side of D plus K who were a well old machine on the attack. Defensively ensuring
that they want to take as many fights as possible and right on cue I cleared dead
that's one of the two drone specialists now off the board.
Like I said, all you need is one nasty spawn peek and it makes the life so much more challenging
for Pinnacle, makes you find it.
And it's gonna impact the entire wind condition out, losing one or two drone operators.
Twitch, I mean, that's gonna be a main way of dealing with the Gristle mines with the
Denial Relay, the default camps, of course, will be hacked by the Bravans.
Taking it so carefully traps.
It's just a lot more work now for Kawa, a lot more dependency on one solo gadget to
to get the same job done.
Watch them ping 45.
We'll see if Kinitrae can try and problem solve their way out of the hole they've dug here in round number nine.
Clutch in play fireplace so we're looking for more information.
There's something to spot it elsewhere, but it seems as if I'm going to try to put a little
bit blind in terms of the majority of this hold and as you can kind of see illustrated
there from some of the outlines, D plus K are very scattered around the map, so this
is going to force a very challenging clear on the side of the attack and they shield
to play front line and lack of information going in blind is going to be really difficult.
more drone work now, fella.
But with that time starts to window down.
Well, that's gonna be their biggest enemy.
Means he knows this.
He can play his sole body, just try and waste as much time as possible,
and actually get a second kill.
It's a great time to win this ring there on Barak Double, the window.
That's gonna show better eventually, though.
So, Kier and Chobb in a 3 vs 4 with the last 60 seconds to go in the round.
No shield, no real entry operator right now.
They have to find all the solutions to the problems.
Well, 50 seconds remain, Genetrope have not looked in the best of form tonight, and that's
an unfortunate drop, I think unintentional there from Ayagator.
40 seconds now, Akai likely to route Kit through Trophy, will have some support from
Kawao to link up, moving towards West Main, as Ayagator posts up to contest this top
wall hold, small opportunity to flush out half wall but he's unsuccessful he'll
now basically be forced to try march forward and take on that one versus one
we'll tell you on his vault, we'll get caught, defuse it down, that should be
round over, that should be match done, well take space west main but he too will
fall, a gator still above, little impact in the round, the GGs go out in the chat
E plus K.O. was really good today.
Those first two play days were not a fluke.
They are here to play on stage two.
Yep.
Convincing that is for certain a one way to put it right now for E plus.
I mean, that is not for score on ice, but then what's whoever asked him.
And they don't go to the bay and title their assault.
I was really expecting and thinking that this could be an overtime road to the matchup,
but not to be.
He and Trump obviously are not fixing their problems.
They're holding them yesterday against stars.
And also not going to this matchup with any more firepower than yesterday.
D plus looking for middable, 7-2 is a hell of a scoreline.
And just like the way they did it, getting the 5.5 in the attack,
that was who was hitting the tone to this matchup.
So many pre-structured strats, bombsite rushes, pusheers, problem solving.
They were never slowing down.
The nigger on defense, and they just never stopped fighting either.
Yeah, absolutely. They were really ruthless over the course of the entire map
been on both sides. I think I was most surprised with just how many fights, especially in the
second on defense, that they were willing to take over, forcing as many gun fights as
possible. And I think old adage or wisdom against some of these teams from North would
be that that's under the playstyle you actually want to avoid, because they typically will
actually thrive in that sort of round state, that that was not the case in this matchup.
D plus Kia matched them on all fronts. And then even in a couple of rounds where the
going got tough, their ability to problem-solve and find the most optimal path for the best
win conditions to stand a chance in those rounds was really, really impressive. So,
they're basically off to a perfect start in this stage. That's a 7-3, into another 7-3,
into an even more dominant 7-2. It doesn't get much better than that.
It doesn't, but the thing about the playoffs that, you know, they've been going to the domestic
finals and fighting for the international spot only to fall at the very end there to CAT. So,
It's not like they're playing any better than usual, technically speaking, they're playing I think
on par, but looking really good given their roster changes. The real question is,
who in this group stage and best of ones? Great, but it won't matter because the goal for these guys
with the entire team's organization is to make it to the international grounds. That's the
massive matter, it's much more when we enter the stage finals up against the CAG in maps like this
the reason. Absolutely, I mean you've got to get to that point first and foremost and by
setting that goal you need to finish top four and I mean fortunately then now in such a strong
position that to proceed D plus K, now not making top four basically impossible. I mean for reference
as well then their first opposition of the next week will be tripping me in telecom and you never
want to take a win for granted that it really should be win that you basically locked so D plus K
really really well up until this point and like you said I think Sidesville
immediately he already be set on finals yeah we're thinking of what makes
D-plus so good how about we ask Sway from the roster we have an interview ready
with hell the coach of the D-plus gear boys congratulations you guys have played
phenomenal today hell love to see it you had a great game yesterday too we spoke
to Falls after yesterday's matchup and he said that you guys are focusing on
synergizing and learning each other's timings because you've got two roster
changes. It felt like today was the best version of this new squad recently, so far.
Hello guys, it's good to have a convincing victory against them because they are a strong team
and we can see like we are doing a really good job, you know, so that's the main thing for us too.
It's good to see. Yeah, congratulations. How you guys played really well. I think
from our perspective, it looked like you're problem solving and your communication was really
There were some tricky positions for the team in that match, yet you were still able to win rounds.
Can you give some insight into how good the communication and the teamwork was today?
Yeah, like as I said in my first interview, we are trying to change the culture of the team.
So now we are working hard to solve the problems we have in the past in the past team.
Communication is one problem we have.
And now I think we are facing this, solving this problem, you know, so it's being better and we are
knowing each other in the server.
Talk to me a bit about the Maestro band. Obviously we saw yesterday KinoTrope against Scars.
Scars banded after the first three rounds because they're struggling against it.
Is that respect? Is it fear? Is it just KinoTrope being the best Maestro team in the world?
What was the reasoning for this band in particular?
Oh, I think they have the best master in the world, so they are the only team who plays like a lot of master roles.
It's annoying to play against the master role. Last time we played they used it and abused it.
So now we, oh, let's just ban master roles. It's more easy to play. We can face everything without master roles.
And you proved that very well on the server.
Thanks much for your time, Helm. I want to go back to the more of it and you got some games to prep for next week.
Best of luck to the rest of the stage.
Thank you guys. Thanks so much
Thank you. So we heard it from the man himself
That was your first time speaking to help us. I've spoken to him before
No, I'm barely saying yeah, the first time having a chat. So I really appreciate the insight and a good to hear that
Communication and teamwork problem solving all of which are fundamental pillars of the game
I have clearly been identified as a sore point for them in the past and
An area of the game or areas of the game that they've looked to improve and we really saw that today
Like I genuinely can't think of too many other performances
I've actually watched whether it be here or NAL or whatever over the course of this stage where a team has gone in
Being tested and just done such a really good job at quickly identifying what the backup plan is and getting into action
and doing a good job in converting it was a really really good display of siege from them today and
The quality of siege that is ultimately going to be required
It's a one-slot region and if they can continue to play that level or even surpass that level
It could be good enough to take all the best teams in this region
Well, you might see more great problems
So instead of the up next the final match of the day is going to be CG by Veryl Obygans being confused for current on the heater
Do not go anywhere. We're back for this
When I was in CAG, or when I was in Norarango,
I felt like I was stronger than this guy, so I wanted to try it out.
That's right.
When I first started the tournament, I thought I could win,
but I didn't think it was going to be that good.
I was a bit nervous, but I was able to do it.
If I was still in the team, I'd be in trouble.
I tried my best in the team.
I did well.
I was in the first scene in the game in the game.
I was in a game that I was in the game.
I was thinking, I did it.
I was thinking, I'll destroy it.
I was so nervous.
And then,
I thought it would be hard if I wasn't strong on the team.
It was a good experience.
When I played for the first time in the online tournament,
I was worried about losing the game.
I was worried about winning the game smoothly.
I was thinking,
what the hell is this?
I was nervous after all.
I was really nervous about the first time, but I was confident that I could make it.
I lost with my team spirit.
When I first met him, he was a G2 fan in Mac, and I really admired him.
I think he was a very good fan of me.
When I first started, I watched a lot of videos of Kenji-san and Rammus-san's father's back, and it was really fun.
I don't want to lose too much, so I want to lose in the ranks, in the customs, and in the way I play with my teammates.
That's when I want to be stronger.
I wanted to be stronger when I was playing with my teammates.
Since I was born, I have been limited to anything.
I want to do everything I can.
I want to reach the highest level.
So I have been aiming for the highest level.
If I don't win the NBA, I think I will never lose again.
Let's keep it alive! Let's keep it alive!
We're down to the final match of the day, Goss.
We're almost at the very end.
My hosting debut.
You work in your first playday of Apex Mall during the stage two.
How do you think the day has gone by so far?
happy you feeling good well pretty good from your perspective you've done four
interests today Nick and all four have just been phenomenal in fact Rob probably
does have a target on his back for the host role so if you ever wanted to jump
ship I'm sure there's a spot that's looking at seriousness I'm really hoping
this last game is good I mean we counted the last one as being close it wasn't
surely this next one will be there this one for sure right now for us to talk
about fear X in particular these guys are an absolute heater at the
Norman coming off a 7-0 victory yesterday. They were brought to Villa by a trippy named telecom and that was their first mistake
Players like your hook man who's been around for a very long time is legendary Korean IGL
He had every single strat on paper for the map of Villa on defenses
And then all they needed was a single attack and the match was over
If you didn't watch it and you're curious how they might play out in professional play, I generally think as a spectator go back and watch this one
It's worth it. I'm sure there's so much you can learn from it.
The utilized great operators, moderate accuracy with the policy force below,
holding top floor, roaming downstairs.
And they just made Trubyman Telecom's life so unenjoyable
because they could barely into the building.
And when they did, well, they were die shortly after.
Yeah, it's been really positive for Firx across the board,
touting some really strong numbers of 15 to 6 round record.
Thus far, again, they walk in with the asterisk,
one of those results being against Trippie but still a 7-0 I think is a comprehensive victory
and it'll be interesting to see how that stands up against some of the other opposition
against Trippie going forward and then even going back to that first play day. O.T. Wynn
against Kinetrope so again a small element of disappointment they didn't quite get all three
points in that match up but a win is a win. They've put themselves in a strong position and
they've had a good lead up to what will be one of if not the most difficult game for them this stage.
And I see him who had almost as an impressive day yesterday, a similar victory against double
Rx.
It's C-A-G!
The Titans from Japan looking to make a statement as always, it's about dominance, about looking
in on one side of the fair.
It's about getting to the grand finals of playoffs, it's about making an international
major go into Osaka.
That is what these guys' journey is all about.
And I think the more convincing games they can put on the board, the better they are
going to feel about their processes and their systems, because that was the big talking
point in the very first stage. They were using groups as a way of practicing adaptation and
communication to get to the best possible level for those later matches that mattered even more.
Yeah for sure, again they've had a pretty favorable fixture though in the first week,
tripping into RRX and look, they've got the job done, flexed their muscles, both results were
dominant and so that's all that you can ask, you can only play the opposition that is presented
in front of you, but we'll see if the lead up to this particular matchup will see them be a little
slow out of the gates or not even the quality now of their opposition in this particular game.
I highly doubt it. I think I'll show what they showed at the last stage which was a pretty brutal
group stage in terms of this one so far and how it's shaping up. They're attacking winner at
89% 8 out of 9 defense. 6 out of 8. They haven't played too many rounds so far up until this point
given the dominant nature of those two games. But they put the best foot forward and I think
CIG by Viral showing you a no downward trajectory if anything they might be getting even that little
a little bit that off might just do that. We'll see about the map though.
And can we have all the buttons again? We will be less is a possibility here.
It's going to be bank. We're so close yet so far, but honestly, I'll take a bank
between these teams of C.H.E. by Varyl and B.N.K.
fear is both very strategical in essence and how they play the game.
And also, I think if you're a C.H.E. by Varyl, you saw how strong the Vila was
last night. You probably don't want to take B.K.
fear is because I generally think they are the best team in the north.
at that map in particular.
Yeah, for sure. I mean, they're not quite out of the woods yet in terms of making top four.
So you probably don't want to be mixing up with the whole village.
Just a little too risky at this point of the day.
Let's get into it.
CAG, we're speaking fierce, on-bank, acutations, very high.
But we said that as well about the last match, and that was a very once-in-a-fare.
Please let this one be different. Please let this one go all the distance.
at least that SinFive's goal line, get us some clocks here, some intense moments.
Given you all, because BoB teams, they need this victory for playoffs.
They sure do, as we rattle through some of the hard hitters and critical operators in this matchup.
Fingers crossed this one will deliver a match that will have potentially broader implications
when it comes to how the top four plays out and shapes up and how that bracket will ultimately be seeded.
Of course in the upper bracket, set me final in that first round, it's first versus fourth into second versus third.
And so pretty important to get yourself the most favourable seeding possible, which will typically be finishing in that first position and taking on the fourth team in the standings.
fans to play through. Let's see what it ends up being.
Haibisame into Capitao and Ying and I think that's a pretty standard set these days on this map.
Of course both these two teams, they have a lot of history playing these shield operators but they have their history for very different reasons.
Obviously Anderton from CIG Barbaro was very famous for his Monty and international play, drop shot and go for kills playing a very chaotic shield play style.
But from VKPherix, it's Wukiman, and he actually plays Fuse, who is one of the highest pick rates of any pro player in the current tier 1 level.
He loves the tactical usage of the primary gadget, and it's actually a great tool operator here in Bank in particular,
because you can use it on basement, on the hatches, on the reinforced wall, hop the bullet canisters, deployable shields, move anybody who's been caught by that wall as well.
And I think you could see a bit of a master class between the two different teams here on their attack and side, and which operators they will utilize,
because I think they'll be quite different.
Edward that there has been some kind of peripheral failure or speculation or issue or something
something preventing this game from getting underway so technical pause will be required
fingers crossed it's pretty quick fix and we should be able to get that player back in
in the lobby back up and running pretty quickly.
I thought we might get through the broadcast without mentioning it but I can't help it
And of course, Sparky on the screen now, I just had a bit of a browse with the reddit
all too long ago and it seems as if he's been tinkering around in the tier 2 scene as a
player correcting me if I'm wrong there, so that's an interesting little project from
him.
We were having a bit of a discussion between ourselves as to what the intention of that
may be, but yeah, interesting to note trying to get some IGL-ing experience, which I guess
in some way may feed into his ability to coach.
as if Nick has lost internet though, so you're stuck with a solo podcast with me right now.
Now, someone's... there must be a conspiracy to not speak about this parking problem.
I'm coaching a temp. I'm playing a temp blessure, so...
Technical pause both on our end and for the players. Hopefully we'll be able to get Nick back in pretty quickly.
As well, gonna take him a few minutes.
I'll update on the player right now.
Just joining map selection for this duel is Bank.
Villa almost making it through.
Banked out towards the tail end by CIG, but I'm not wanting to take too much of a risk,
especially depending on what we saw from Fiorix last time.
Now, Bank though, a pretty long tenured map.
Both of these two teams having a pretty similar kind of outlook and style.
I mean, interesting to see how they go about clashing in this game.
Now to basement first for the opening round.
CAG will be looking to build some momentum here in what will no doubtedly be,
or at least should be, then, those challenging match of the group stage up until this point.
And pending the kind of form that we see from Therax this stage, it could be
the most challenging of the group stage.
The lyrics to bring a very intriguing line-up then for the opening round.
The bands were pretty expected and pretty normalised in terms of the set that we saw,
but yeah, this initial pick from the attack, very interesting.
Now right around the north, so there'll be a lot of threat through Garage.
A high level of information can be gathered here by the attack courtesy of the Snake,
There could be a 0 combination, that 0 and the Argus launch are very powerful on a map
such as Bank with a lot of square footage.
It could even be a useful tool in countering the Oyo and other pieces of U-Tool that will
be on site in the late round.
Over towards Dirt though, at least part of this attack will be man-playing Frontline
on the Monty.
and it's in isolated now is trapped in this blue stairs position.
Nitro cell plus the yokai will combine to do a lot of damage on the wugi man elsewhere.
Yunseng did fall, but Anitin E2 will find the grave as Ryder now looks to sneak forward
and advance through the garage.
Things will just stabilise here for a moment.
will retain position inside of archives and if he's able to remain hidden that
could be interesting although bogeyman did go scouting there on the Monty and
may have seen him midpoint of the round and I don't believe CIG have a read here
on to Ryder. He continues to play patiently and I believe Nick is back on
the line. I won't get you to analyze anything because unfortunately you're near.
I'll just say that swapping to your secondary internet cable is fast and going for a reload,
okay? It was a quick one. We made it work and we are back in action.
Got some work happening in my house and someone moved the couch a bit too far and hit a cable.
I see that we've suffered blows here in both sides though and it's going down
earlier someone in Yongsan, Valkyrie Podogobis, who's like a valuable trade call, and look at this,
Valkyrie Podogobis, the most valuable operator in the run for detail.
40 seconds then on the clock, Fyrox, they struck early in this round,
did a great job to isolate Anerton, but the follow-up hasn't quite been up to the standard that
that they would have liked and soldier
brought out.
Ryder is still in Loaning Docks, mind you.
He is being there on the nook,
basically this entire round.
And hasn't gotten value.
Will he now be able to make a defining play in the round?
Of course, his position now revealed.
Two versus two, but there's only five seconds on.
The clock, the defense should be able to play time.
It got scary there for a moment.
Steven's position is known.
he was able to go prone. He was fortunate to win that fight up close over towards gold
if he lost it. It would have been round over. Somehow, they make it close there in the dying
seconds but ultimately CAG by Varel able to just win out.
Bangor started wrong right there having gold the entire distance to both in seconds and
our man can't be now one versus one. It wasn't going to be working man on the fuse like I
was hoping for on the first time like I would say. It was going to be the Monty. He suffered
an early C4 took a fair bit of damage in here, just starting to drone the corner, Saka, a
little bit better there on the positioning, finds two kills for death to each other to
then get shut down by JLT.
Now I wasn't thinking about Fiorix, that we didn't really cover much in the intro, because
we're kind of speeding through it, but Misa has actually retired from Rainbow Six Seed
professional play, and of course for that reasoning also he's off the main roster for
being KFiorix.
JLT is his replacement, he himself has had a pretty big shoot to fill, but then a great
job at it so far.
Misa had presence in terms of AGLing leadership, but also in the fracking department.
Obviously, Wookieman is the Korean masterclass AGL, so he can kind of cover that error that now that Misa is gone.
The GLT's main job is actually to be a fracker, to be a Kodohood star player.
I know it will only a couple of players in, but I'll say that he's actually done better than I expected,
given his, you know, having to replace a common teammate of his.
Yeah, obviously you disconnected earlier Nick so we didn't get your response nor do I even know if you heard the question that I posed but we had Sparky appear on camera and I made reference to that little thing we saw on Reddit in terms of him looking to get some IGL experience and he thought on that.
I don't know for what reason he's looking for it, but I like the idea of players and coaches going above and beyond in different areas to better the craft.
And if Sparky go into a tier 2 tier 3 team to do some agilin of his own, it isn't in a way of bettering his team of CT Barbaro, I'm all for it.
As long as he stays locked in on the mission at hand, that the primary reasoning for his job here is that these guys do well and these guys get better.
I mean we've heard from Sparky in the past and you referenced it earlier the group stage for them at least in stage one was
created
The Lase there kind of roll from his perspective quite hands off allowing the team to get the job done
Serve them well. They did great. I
Think they'll very much just be looking to duplicate that performance here in to stage number two
I'm going to drag a payload onto Anitin but he eats that on the clash.
In the meantime.
In the bomb site, planting, covering, EPS as well. I think there's going to be no counter for this one.
I don't know why BDD then was below, but late over towards Talos and got collected by Yunsan.
This has been a really good set play. BNK, fear axe.
I'm very very rarely with the propel in play
Will you see the defense be able to retake?
upside down and line of sight onto the diffuser
Cg by farrell still scrambling second four sheree poor hole for the long angle
But he is forced off zaka with a phenomenal jump out able to net to sheree back on the diffuser
Unfortunately, he will fall chibisu given no ability to stick
I think you've got a little hairy there at the end, but ultimately that was pretty good from being careful of your axe.
Yeah, one of the strongest postplains in the entire game if anyone succeeds you're on the window rappels, upside down, and everything in the Siege X loans have happened a little bit over a year and a half ago.
When you jump out those windows from very far up in the building, your force is a hipfire animation as you fly outside.
So realistically, you shouldn't really get a kill. The fact that they found two really good attempt there from CG by Veryl, but they were never meant to win that once the plant went down.
and down. This is the thing about BFK here is where they play Rainbow Six Siege. They
love these preset strats where they have a piece of paper and they say okay if we have
these operators in these exact positions and the enemy doesn't have we have you know denying
the plant for example we're bringing the factory they can get to see form it air you can stop
a warden, sketch it from work in, solo sketch from work in, echadrons etc we'll just plant
and then we just win and sometimes a round can truly become that simple but it has a lot
of things that has to occur first before you can actually utilize it. You have to if you
think of Geoferes, drone out the 5 defending operators and heal them in your own face and
of course find the bomb site. Now okay, none of these operators can really stop the plant
unless the plane is in one location and that's when they're downstairs near the bomb site.
So, if Geoferes knew that, they send one guy downstairs making sure that the soldiers
couldn't go for a gadget scan, impact an eye and take care of the blitz. After they do
that it's literally just a freebie. So, Cedric Varel now losing to this has to be very cautious
of how they approach these future rounds because they cannot get caught off guard like that again.
So, he puts in play then for the third round again here and Ferex will be looking to get
as much value as possible from Woogieman. Is that during the bobs suggesting it will be CEO
would cross and with the VAM also selected here by the attack it really is a no-brainer
to try and get that control and work the vert.
C.A.G.N.O. will contest and it's Chibisu-Jan to find the first small overpeak or misposition
there for Moogiman before the smoke was laid and the hard breach could follow and that
was very costly.
They should really only be going for the entry after that hard breach U-Tool has gotten to
work and flushed out that position.
So, a pretty big error, but another unsolvable round, it's like a falling, but unfortunately
right on QJLT also will fall to that nitro cell.
And it's a strong start to the round for COG.
It's a strong start, especially because they have so much more map to play with, the benefit
of open area bombs that you start top floor, that falls apart too, so you could choose
to fall on back.
Once that one more kill on the rappel and animation, then you can play the basement
staircases, of course on the side. Choose the drop, doesn't get the final pick, but still
4v3, half the round to go, second mirror window. They can just post up, see if you can truly
now just wait between good beers to get closer to the bottom side because they know they
got the most important kills. The gridlock is gone, that's gonna be the noise coverage
and the flank watching, and so is Wukimann playing that blitz, that's gonna be your execute
enabling operator and your planter. So realistic even if they are X right now, all they can
really do is go fishing for a couple of kills and try and bring back the numbers
advantage and then go for bombs that execute after.
They work play then from both sides and it's a basement and right of down main
soldier to retain his position currently on the second floor. It'll be a hail
mary attempt here one would assume from fear x and the 30 seconds remain and
soldier I think prepping for a stock hatched drop
good workout but we rely on some good util layering double flash soldier for
elbow knee went for the drop and immediately died shereep will inflict
the same fate on to rider and CAG will claim the route a lot of these rounds
to be determined by the strategy and the best way to disrupt them from applying that strategy
is to get the opening picks. The Inkey Fear is there a team that relies on having a lot of
different attacking tools available to them. If they have one or two casualties early around,
a lot of that useful then goes into the grave with them and they can't go for plan A,
maybe can't even go for a plan B. What they can do now is go for the next operator ban and I'm
not sure what they're gonna offer you if they're gonna be open as like your mirror or gonna be
something like a castle class that can protect you, class does come out as I say it. Montague
is talking it back in response. I think this makes perfect sense. The skull gonna be all about the
shield play of which we know that both teams are so capable at bringing.
Absolutely. At least so far, early science pointing towards this being a close and
competitive matchup. Important to remember the opening games for both of these two teams were
a little bit different in the sense that Ferex had a competitive matchup against Kenetrape on
that opening playday, an 8-6 OT victory, then into a very dominant 7-0 over Trippie. And then on the
other side, CAG having a little bit more favorable-fix string, Trippie in the double RX, a 7-2 and
a 7-1 respectively for them so at least on the side of C.A.G. this would probably go
down as the most challenging match for them up to this point.
I'm firing some kind of crazy dominant match up but I really don't have that
expectation the early rounds here it's been quite close.
Get a little Valkyrie getting a spin again near Commeniton, second time on Bank so far.
Can be tricky to play these camera based operators like your Maestro, your Ekko and your Valkyrie
in defense because action can just happen out of nowhere and you don't have to be coughing
on a camera.
Popping down the echo on the Valkyrie means double the camera duty but it makes it a little
easier if you find the opening pick.
Shuri was hiding by the stock double window, and when the attacker shut the window open,
he peeked towards the room, thinking it's a 3D under JLT, a top fragger, from beacon
theorics, and more importantly here, for our basement defense, is the Hibana.
They only have two can openers, so two set or two one set rather, of hard-bred shooting
ability now, to open up all the walls and hatches.
Shuri does go down, so we're back to a 4v4, but still, lack of hard destruction.
Yeah, things will stabilise and slow down.
See who that ultimately favours.
Anitin goes searching over towards top square.
Not for a kill, but instead for a drone.
Needs to be careful, he doesn't get cut off from electrical!
Got shot in the back!
But those shots fail to land!
Opens the window for Anitin to hit a successful nitro onto the sense.
And that's going to throw Plan A out the window in terms of a drop plant.
Yeah, and it also means CIG by power can now consolidate with player advantage on time
And we've seen this one before why the issue is
Suck it couldn't find this way all the way back to side you can cut them off
By tillers and archives
But still I think what you said stands true
Planting is still dead here for being a fear ex planting seems impossible
I mean, maybe they're getting some smoking a some young sang and get down towards the bomb site and tossing a couple of grenades
Maybe then it could attempt a plant. Well, what about the cool your fire?
What about the Echo Drones? What about the gunfights that are waiting for them once they get down that staircase?
Because like I said, they had only the sense that could do half destruction.
Since it's gone, they have no way of reaching any of the hatches or the walls now.
Lost some costly operators. They at least have the twitch up for some U2 clearance, but...
You know, what that is centered around the more default approach, which as you've outlined, is really not going to be the...
primary option for FioraX, simply impossible now at this point as time will
start to quickly become a concern. Oh, the structure I missed. That could as well
prove costly. There's been some potentially costly moments in this
round but it's up to COG by Velo, of course, to punish those mistakes. The
round's not fun yet. There's still a world in which FioraX could trade their
way down main through elevator and it's with a key cross and loses the fight
massive from Ryder will be able to follow up with the flood DD man volt
jupy su cc TV it is a yokai up couple of seconds to go can DD man find his key
to the house I think he will bang right on cue missing that yokai drone with the
shock drone proves to be a massive blunder oh my god I saw there we saw
the IQ actually covering a rider on the plan spot where he gets shot down by a gunfighter.
Moments before the Yokai arrives at the feet of the operator. So again, team-time details
that impact the entirety of the round outcome. The Inkey Fierce call their technical time
out and I mean, rather sooner than later, right? Get ahead of the problem, talk it through,
kind of reset and go again. I mind you, they also have some backup nowadays because they
They have Nyx actually, or from North America, the 2-2-1-2-1 player who's now coaching them.
So should he's experienced right now, but was the player as the coach is going to come
into effect and hopefully get them back into the right shape.
Yeah, it feels like an important tactical time out.
This is where we were kind of outlining, or at least I was outlining the potential for
this to be close and the unlikely nature of a blood out result from CIG by a barrel.
They also shouldn't be underestimated.
That was pretty unfortunate round for Fiora, despite everything that went wrong up to that
final execute, they still had the potential to win it out.
One pesky yokai ended up being the difference for them.
Such a very sad to see as well.
There was a meta many, many years ago where I don't know, more than half the rounds, like
Yo-kai with zero seconds left winning the rounds for their team and it was back
So you equals had a lot of changes right originally. Oh my god
How was it you have one drone, but it was cloaked and then they gave you two drones
But they weren't cloaked and then now you have a third drone and they're still not a cloaked
I think that's been the primary changes that knows like the acres scope no acres scope three speed two speed
What could be can call them don't give you can't call them
Exactly, like, honestly it's an opponent that has faced so many different changes that the gameplay has basically stayed the exact same.
This only thing now is that because you get a third yokai, teams have been a bit more aggressive and spend them early for the room support.
You know, you lose one or two for that, keep one in pocket for the plant later on.
But it's still a pocket operator, we don't see it played all that often.
TRX then can they convert that tech for the timeout?
Has it been enough to have a meaningful discussion?
We returned to the top four and they were good on this last timeout, able to work a pretty
direct console hit in the end.
Got a pretty formidable post set up with multiple players on repel.
I certainly don't expect CIG to make this plant as easy this time around as they make
some adjustments that bring the castle into play and the melusi and play more
useful heavy on this occasion.
Be careful though, there's top floor attack and defense. It can change so quickly.
There are so many windows and long range comforts you'll be exposed to as a defender.
We saw how easy the plan was last month in BKF.
I'll at least see the entire timeline. I'll be saying that this is probably not going to be a Bombsite rush with a Shield or a Thatcher, because they're not playing Sheep or Thatcher.
But she'd need to have to keep that in mind and be respectful of the past.
You got the Kassar barricades, the peeling back those layers being destroyed by Wikimans, Sophia, Expulsive Charges.
But this is the downside of this Bombsite, right?
Both the Truthwell and the Arithium R has been nerfed in this patch. You have no acres on defense to fight with. It's Honoes or Zaycocks.
And it's the attack to draw first blood some control over towards top square
You see a JLT. Oh, I thought he had DD men dead to rights
But that narrative fit pretty quickly a sharp shot with the SMG
It's the one gaspade remaining for the smoke 60 seconds now remains Chibisu
funds himself down susceptible to these angles created by the attack and Anitin almost suffered a similar fate as he tries to
to get across for the revive.
They see the issues, on the window are pals in the staircases, again, ACOG versus HALL,
what such an unfair advantage they are fully attacked.
The D.V.M.A.N.T is so good, finds another soldier, locking down janitors, but G.B. goes down,
and I think it's a killback. That means that C.A.G. are leading by one.
P.P.C. on this push.
This Boogieman helps out.
Two versus two.
A full read on offer here.
CAG will know exactly where these last two attackers are situated in case they have the
kit to play off, some sharp kills to end the round, and CAG starts to feel like they might
be dominating this matchup.
It's DD Man who's going to be the hero of his team, seemingly out of nowhere.
He's placing janitor, fighting 5 billion different angles against three kills in a round, takes
full control, and it's such a crazy thing because he came in as a coach of this roster
took the planks but we needed him the most and he has not just been on drones and
how preaching and playing their passive positions he will be the clutcher he
will be the playmaker not every single round but when needed and playing smoke
in janitor's on this bang of top-floor defense is a very tricky spot to play
What do you think? Tell them what you're about to do.
And he's killed himself at 5-1 scoreline in the first 5 rounds.
He sure has.
You know, good performance from him so far up to this point.
It's in terms of the combination of both teams in their stage so far, loading up the numbers.
In terms of how the stage has played out so far.
So Sharip and Anitzen are first and second in the league respectively.
Top player for the side of Firx is Woogieman, I guess as expected.
He sits at fifth overall heading into the game.
Still very early in terms of how many matches were played up until this playday, but so many
hard hitters as you would expect right up there in the top of the league.
round of the half boat as we walk in for this one it enters not quite must win
territory for fear expert one five come back looks unlikely even how this is
played out so far
treat in the side of the load
so rats
now big challenge here do you go for summer charge do you let it pop open and deny the
angle well it's gonna let it go you want the long game
you bet your team 100%
every day of the week, you bet your team.
I'm never sure you bet your team.
If this is also an ranked match and we lose this round
and I keep the match replay,
you might get flamed a little bit for that.
If we lose.
If you get the kill, you got it.
Oh, oh, I'm about to flame you.
Hold.
Does he get out though is the question.
I don't see anyone in the position.
He answered the cut off, so he should be okay.
Okay.
Very except that it was not worth taking the risk
of going down early.
And I think this is again,
that plays out difference of wukimans saying,
I need you guys alive to do your jobs,
Player positions are half the gadget in pocket ready for the execute.
So they fall back early, but look at this, a second rat is hiding by the window.
And it's turn this time around, watch the double door of heaven, a white swing gets the kill.
Cannot get away, there was an even trade, but this is disrupting the attack of the UX.
Yeah, you probably take that, no Bs in play for the late round.
That could be a pretty useful tool on this site in cutting off some of those re-rotations from the defense.
So probably a net win for COG by Varel and your rat just does
I'm so slightly disrupt this push. The Janholt has been absolutely spot on here from CIG.
Now, Fyrex not really having the means to deal with that DD man with another massive kill.
He goes up to 6 and 1 in this first half, not bad for the ex-coach.
Sharip in Talos. Fyrex have an inkling on his position.
They had a head turn on the yellow pings, but they're still not really making a convincing move for this play.
holding the shuttle stock. The issue is you swing first, you get the worst angle.
If you don't swing, he doesn't find the kill just yet.
I feel like Sharif wants to bust through the smoke. He does exactly that and catches it.
Great timing. The soldiers all alone down there quad. Needs to find a quad to win out
this round for P.R.X. This has been pretty formidable from C.A.G. by V.O.L. They will
enter the halftime break with five rounds to their name.
Baby
I'm just gonna call you now, and tell you how I feel
Maybe I'll get lucky tonight, you'll come out tonight
I
Think for me guys think mashed potatoes for the best thing actually like I think that's my favorite like some garlic mashed potatoes
Well, I made that
Where you cook
Of course I cook you've never cooked for me. I've been Australia twice. Where was that?
I was in your apartment by the way. I saw it. I was there you and Alex is a little hot. Yeah
Oh, that is true. That was in my old place. Maybe when you come around oh, yeah
Bigger better places, huh?
We actually abandoned Alex
Like think about that like you work with this guy every day. You live together. You're not like I'm gonna move out
Take care. Good luck. Have fun, right? And somehow you're still good colleagues and still good friends. That's a back step right there, my guy
Think of Alex. I
Think it was a lot
No words. Oh, there's no words. I'm sorry. Say what I get in between you two. You guys can talk about your own time
I'll just talk about CG and Phoenix in that case. Okay, double shield ban
Respecting slash fearing anitins potential, but we always say this right you ban two shields
to leave a third open. You ban all three shields, well there's four, so you still get the fourth
shield. It really is a matter of diminishing return when it comes to the doubling or trifectating of
the shieldbans. And from COG themselves, they ban that away the Kaid, the Asari, most likely to be
extended. This is because it gives you probably the most amount of value on bank. Kaid, phenomenal
for both the basing bombs that lock you down the hatches. And for top floor, the nine, the
a Kento wall, a top airbidder wall, and the assignment works for every single side granting
protection, giving you rotations back towards the bomb side, and it's a very universally
locked operator that can be played on every single side of the area.
Sorry, I just did a quick Google search, apparently there's someone who has tried to survive on
nothing but potatoes before, that sounds, I mean I love potatoes, but that doesn't sound
I mean when I was a child I loved the idea of only eating pizza because you can have
pizza in like a thousand different ways but at the same time you know you can have protein
and fats and everything else potatoes is the potato you can make mashed potatoes or chips
or whatever version you want baked potato but it's still just a potato there is not
like a ton of things added to it if it's just potatoes. Still good at though.
Alright let's look back in here for the second half. Oh Chibisu, he is not a potato. JLT will
get slammed on the wall bank. In that position, CIG now really nicely for the rest of this
first round on the second half.
Well, I don't want to say they're proving the haters wrong or the fans right or what
they're doing, but they're playing better than I was expecting or at the very least
they're making this a lot more one-sided than I was expecting.
I really thought it was going to be a bit of a battle back and forth, not to be so far.
Not lost for being too few explaining means, but they just have gotten better and better
and better and better and are not slowing down as of yet.
And I guess we can cross off one more team when it comes to the list of potential candidates are taking them down because fear is so far
They're not that enemy
And on the contrary
CG by Varela putting in a very convincing effort
All sides are pointing towards this being another round win and with that
overtime at minimum secured and five match points
It would be difficult to envision them dropping that kind of lead and advantage.
They'd be disciplined here through the rest of their checklist.
Up next is trying to isolate Jhin, saying, you know, I think correctly, is trying to
take the fight here.
Again, it's bank defense.
Not an easy place to be, regardless of the score line.
Jhin has to go big, as you mentioned, but they got the green beat, and Kizela's waiting
for him, and play out time to work on their opening pick.
So 50 seconds left, and a green deep below, and Kizela, and expect the push traps.
Oh yeah. Good crunch. Oh yeah.
There's never a chance that you can find both of those kills and ultimately not even able to find one.
And so that player advantage now doubles in favour of CAG. They'll start posturing for default.
Last line of defense really will be to tank them and let Shamiko launch her and Ryder overloads gold with Nitro.
You can either default plant pretty easily, but why don't they go deeper, why don't they
plant in an unusual location, why don't they plant at all, why don't they take that 5v3,
push the bomb aside and create so much chaos, that I can't go for denial.
Or just plant there!
You need the strange plant position and the nitro cell perfectly poised.
3 vs 1 though, and CAG.
Dominant in that first attack.
I mean, DD made getting so much value, took the attention of both the shanggit and the
the guy throwing out the C4 so you lose one player, but they get two kills right back making
that a 1v4, then they push through the fire, go for a second plant attempt, this time there's
no denial and even if they wouldn't find the kill, they would've gotten a plant that
still would've been GG for the round.
It really does feel like being a Theorix, they are so desperately in need of the opening
pick and early events is they can hold on to because once they lose the first body,
see it here and not letting go.
They just keep making that small, smart advantage bigger and bigger and bigger, and even that
round with like 40 seconds left, they don't doubt themselves for a second.
They get plenty of time, all the right positions, all the right bit of utility used through
the counts of the defenders, and they get another one.
Now the infantry will go to open area, and that will play a lot more around the map control
than just the bomb site itself, and that's both a positive and a negative.
positive because of course they can it can play more straight out we can cover
more mapping and deny more entry access for a cd gov arrow it's a negative
because it's also more potential gunfights that are 1v1 that if CG were to win
was to have been for the majority of this game well there'll be a net of
all the fiber station once again and probably lose the round so as well there
the standing implications pop up momentarily a CAG win he would see them
deadlocked with D-plus Kia and we won't get a resolution in terms of
separating those two. Provided they go on to win the remaining matches until
playday number six, so that's in about two weeks time. That would be a really
interesting matchup. I'm expecting D-plus Kia to look competitive but I've been
out root the CAG by Valor being up to this particular point in time. It really
feels like they've even stepped it up after stage number one, which would mean that they
would continue to remain favorites. And what is a critical stage for them? These guys would
be absolutely desperate to play in front of their home crowd or at the very least attend
their home major. It's been so long since we've had an event in Japan.
It took an AME or at least an international tier one tournament at least, but that, won
by a european team of navi and you feel like they're gonna hold on but ctr again just a
little bit better they find that opening peak once again and it's over right after it could
be over i think it might be a massive clutch from rider and yun seng now the last two standing
yun seng over towards electrical rider office hallway both situated first floor gives full
control above here at the synergy and there's really no immediate flank threat unless rider
decides to try and route up main. There is a drone inside of L.O.V.A. so I don't know if his
position is known. There's that fight elsewhere. Goes in favor of C.A.G. Shaping up to be a 7-1
cannot believe just how one-sided this game has become. They've been ruthless in their approach
and their execution of the absolutely spot on fear X have been exposed in this game.
Ryder will try and fight if he's flashed out, DD man is flamed and he's down to fire.
They're tripping a little bit here at the end but they still have the black beard in
play.
They can still try and go for the kill to win this match and that's exactly what they
have been able to achieve.
A 7-1 victory and the 8 rounds required in this match Nick, I can't believe it.
How long can you be?
Well apparently I can be very wrong.
I really expected and thought that the second half of this match today would just be super tight,
boundarying matches between Team Trouble and Team Paws, and CIGP and Kiviric, and I was always so wrong.
If CIG and the statement match for them, it is turning into a case of like Waple for Asia,
CIGP, and Peknore, and it's so hard to imagine that anyone can be at least be stuffed in,
especially if you go to Fiora 3's later in the stage for the finals, because mind you,
These are just the best ones!
This is exactly the territory where in theory
anyone can have like a really good game against them across the upset
yet it's not even close to happening.
Yeah absolutely, again I'm pretty stung by this result.
Of course expect the ZAG by that one to play well and
it would have been unfair to say they're actually less than favorites in this matchup
but just the sheer dominance, the ability to do it on both sides, it was
really quite impressive and there was nothing really to signal that
FioraX were going to get really struggling in this matchup, like, sure, OT win against
Kinatrope, but that's not really too much of a plummish, and then a 7-0 into Trippie,
now to get flipped in almost a 7-0 against them. It's an interesting round of form for
them, as we look across at that match, somewhere no one really had to get firing on the side
of FioraX, and it left them with so many rounds where they were playing at disadvantage, and
CIG then did a really good job in preventing FioraX from problem-solving their way out
in a lot of those troublesome positions.
I will say regardless of the actual assault
being very one-sided,
I really didn't enjoy watching the two very different styles
of play we saw on the server.
I still think that being a theory is almost like
that when Dark Zero in North America
was like a superstructure team
where CT people are losing the server.
But I like to hear it from CT themselves from Sparky
what his thoughts were on this matchup
because I thought it was gonna be super, super close.
You guys took it as seven one-fashioned Sparky.
Talk to me about today's matchup,
prep work and what you expected to happen because as I said I did not see this one coming being so
one-sided. No I think the score doesn't really reflect like like I think they played well like I
think they had like a decent game plan. It was just the fact that the individual players, my players
are just so good but they had a very good game plan like I I love the way they played it. I only
I didn't see everything, but I saw some stuff. They went direct one time, but then they had back steps going on.
And then the other time, they baited, they didn't get to the king of the round, but then they went slow, like their pace was good.
I gotta be honest, and also the individual players were moving around the map, even if they didn't have info, they were assuming the right things.
So, I mean, props to them. I think they decent.
Yeah, absolutely. I mean, they played pretty well today, but you guys were just so much
better. Where do you guys feel like you're sitting right now in terms of maximum potential?
Do you feel like right now you're playing as good as you can get? Or how much room for
growth do you sort of envision all this team? And what does that actually look like in terms
of the server? Is that something we're expected to see here? Or is that more so when it comes
to international events?
No, it's for international events, but the potential of the team is the same.
You've got to think that you can see the team's results we had, like beating SR, and then
you could have beaten DZ, we were around the way, same for Liquid.
But I can assure you, the knowledge of my players, compared to those of DarkZero and
Liquid, is much, much lower, yet they managed to get those results.
So, I have no idea where the roof is, we're still working on fundamentals, so I think
they can be first, I gotta be honest, because I see them and I see they lack some fundamentals,
yet they win against some insane team, so if you can match the fundamentals, I think
they can win, I think they can win a major, I gotta be honest.
I mean, we did see the old CD go to the redoed for Grand Finals and then of course, rough
match against Furia, they were a really big beast back then, top matchup. What about showing
us some new stuff, Sparky? What about talking to the players saying, Vila, Vila, could we
see some of that new map in action for me guys, or not yet? What are we feeling there?
I don't know, I mean, if you expand all the maps, like what people know as our maps, because
we played them last age, I feel like it's because of this map, of course, if you played
I don't know, we just go with the flow, we just look up a bunch of maps that we don't like, but other than that, we just go with the flow, and whatever is open, we pick.
So maybe yes, and we'll see our confidence there.
Across my fingers for it, thank you so much for your time, Sparky, I'm sure we'll speak to you most playdays in the future as well, so go right stop and get here next week.
We'll see you at some point then.
Thank you.
Oh yeah, they were hitting from a sparky, again feeling confident, feeling comfortable,
and I think the most recent international results they're getting, also not just what
they're doing on stage that we all seen, but what they're screaming against and all the
first stuff that we don't know about that they do, they're feeling stronger and stronger
and the results are displaying that exact same thing in this river.
7-1, 7-2, and a 7-1 again.
Yeah, for sure.
I mean, when I posed the question to Spark, I definitely wasn't expecting him to turn
around and say, no, this team is capped out.
This is the best we're ever going to see from them.
But I think he went once step further in just how much positivity and comments that he was
able to make on the team in terms of, especially internationally, just how far they can go
once they're able to tidy up some fundamentals.
So yeah, really exciting to see.
And in terms of looking at how the group standings are now shaping up after three play days,
reference before it's now a two-horse race for top spot with C.A.G. by Valon D plus Kira,
courtesy of three four-less wins now sitting on nine points apiece and I think the biggest
shock to hone in on in terms of where they stand right now it has to be Kina Trope. They find
themselves in sixth position just the two points and that means there's now a full game gap for
the top four. And I guess we also have to figure out who the best player was as well but the
individualism and it was the guy with the best dance moves of yesterday was the
best player in terms of today it is gonna be falls for MVP but D plus Kia he
was the entry he was the planter he was the dancer this guy can do it all almost
a 4kd into this match yeah I think my favorite round for him had to have been
the sledge shop guy where they were performing slow but that was really good to
watch and look I'll be completely honest I wasn't actually expecting him to be MVP in
this matchup but I think it was one of those performances where he was sort of
the engine room of the team. He was very much about it going about a chip in a way outside
of this round. It wasn't really a massive collection of huge moments or anything crazy
like that, but he did a really good job in always being in a really strong position,
being able to play make, being able to get the job done. And yeah, to be dancing on his
opposition in this matchup and the large reason is why they were able to go on the win wasn't
just him, obviously, but someone has to be MVP. And I think the kind of player that you
don't typically look at again is kind of being an MVP performer, but I think today
It was a very much case that he was super cool.
And I mean, I know why we've been spending this story in the past,
you know, with Elevate, important roster and D plus,
that they are the villains, but every time I speak to Falls in the interviews,
he is such a nice guy as well.
Placeless server, very respectful.
I can't hate the guy, okay?
The guy is just too good.
That is the end of SEAS for APEC North,
but there is going to be more SEAS happening.
I believe SA-L is on later today, tonight, possibly.
Is that correct? There it is.
Three hours time.
SEAS doesn't stop.
We've been finishing off for APAC more of yesterday, then we threw it to NAL.
Now we're finishing today with a win to SAL.
You're a Siege fan.
You're living a great life right now because it is peak season, baby.
Yeah, I'm looking across at the scene very quickly.
SAL two-play days so far, and it's shaping up to be pretty expected across the board.
A few phase.
They're bread on floor, honestly.
The only two teams at the moment on a full six point.
So the mid table for SAL as usual, shaping up to be highly competitive.
Awesome.
I mean, honestly, that's the finalist for me, anything for you guys?
No?
It was a pleasure.
Happy?
It always is.
Alright.
Alright, thank you guys so much for watching, for cheering, for chatting, we'll see you guys very soon.
No more ATX Nord for tomorrow, we're gonna take a quick break, so we'll be back in a couple of days with one action,
throughout the entire vehicle, Nord, Oceania and South.
See you soon.
Have a great night.
I still feel so low
It feels like home
It feels like home
It feels like home
It feels like home
