[00:00:00] I like it I just run, run, run I'll make you turn right to be right
[00:00:16] You're so bad at it
[00:00:18] Yeah
[00:00:21] You're afraid of disappearing
[00:00:27] To make your stages fine
[00:00:30] Yeah
[00:00:33] I like it, I go la la la la
[00:00:36] I like it, I just go la la la la
[00:00:39] Oh baby, it's exciting
[00:00:41] It's exciting, exciting
[00:00:43] I like it, I just love it, I love it
[00:00:53] But it's all right to be right
[00:00:57] Cause I love it, I love it
[00:03:13] I
[00:11:43] I
[00:13:43] New Osaka Major, Takuya, Hikaru, Eilishan, Yixainu.
[00:13:50] Hey...
[00:13:54] I can't see you again.
[00:14:01] I won't see you again.
[00:14:03] In Osaka Major.
[00:14:43] Our path will continue here.
[00:14:51] My body...
[00:14:54] My body...
[00:14:56] My growth...
[00:14:59] Then, oh no...
[00:15:02] I should be able to climb higher.
[00:15:05] And...
[00:15:08] We...
[00:15:13] Well, good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome. Come on in. Settle in. It's Play Day
[00:15:26] 5, EPL Asia. We've got a big one for you. We've got Sharpa, we've got Waybo. We've got the
[00:15:31] rise of F5 Esports. We'll see if they can carry on from yesterday. Michael, we've got
[00:15:35] ourselves a really, really big night ahead of us. Play Day 5, some would say it's
[00:15:40] magical play date because we get a little closer to determining the top four. Very chill intro for
[00:15:46] you, Jake. You're vibing out right now. It's good to be back. Yeah, yesterday was actually pretty fun.
[00:15:51] We had some pretty shock results, even a weird non-result with F5 being unable to get points
[00:15:58] against Weibo after a strong start. So we had a bit of everything yesterday, but there's still
[00:16:04] a lot to be seen in terms of clarity for the top four and hopefully we get a bit of picture
[00:16:07] on that at the end of today.
[00:16:09] We had a lot of really good games yesterday and in terms of our highlight round from playday
[00:16:14] four it came on the very last game. Fury versus Daystar and what a game this was it was a little
[00:16:21] back and forth in the first half but the second half was all fury and Dark ended up
[00:16:26] being our MVP for the night and this 1v2 play was a big factor.
[00:16:31] Yeah it was solid from him, Yao above, almost denied the plant right here, lost a reload,
[00:16:39] didn't complete it and that proved to be very, very costly.
[00:16:43] The plant may have still gone down regardless, but either way it was confirmed, put Daystar
[00:16:48] in a post, Dark then positioned himself over towards Dining Hallway and Daystar played
[00:16:53] this pretty much spot on, but the trade attempt didn't land, he clutched up and
[00:16:59] Unfortunately for Daystar, things are starting to go from bad to worse, but for Fury, they got themselves back in the top four.
[00:17:06] And as we look across at the standings heading into tonight, there's only two teams with the perfect record.
[00:17:11] It's Sharpa and Waybo.
[00:17:13] And what a guess they'll be taking each other on tonight.
[00:17:16] So there'll be one team left standing in terms of maintaining that win record.
[00:17:22] And then in terms of the battle for the top four still raging with fury in falloff as mentioned an f5 just on the edge trailing by one point
[00:17:30] You missed the chiefs and enterprise game the other day
[00:17:34] Which was also similar battle, but I don't think you missed out on much in that five minutes
[00:17:40] It was very very one-sided. Hopefully this one tonight between sharper and weibo will be a little bit closer
[00:17:45] At my eyes are on that four versus five and we've got first game of the night fury f5
[00:17:49] And how important this now is I mean yesterday
[00:17:52] for Fury the storyline was pretty simple in that match against a star the loser if that was going to
[00:17:56] have a very tough time of making finals the truth of it is though is that if you do lose this it
[00:18:01] remains to be seen the same outcome where it will be difficult to then make the top four so
[00:18:06] it's it's a big week for fury got past the first test yesterday but now the next test awaits f5
[00:18:13] esports yesterday were very competitive against weibo gaming the other games elevate dolphin
[00:18:19] of course and then we have one more after that which will be Daystar 999 but as for F5 Esports the
[00:18:26] talk of the town yesterday a 5-1 lead a 4-0 start against Waybo Gaming came out of nowhere almost
[00:18:33] cost me my hair but you know what it was worth it they were great they played some really really
[00:18:38] good seed we even have a little graphic F5 Esports rattled the beast but look in the end the
[00:18:43] beast awoke yeah defensively F5 were great they were able to back themselves in to make
[00:18:48] really strong individual players and I think we actually got a little bit of a glimpse as to
[00:18:52] what we saw at a tier 2 level. It was a thing that stood out to me the most watching them
[00:18:57] in bootcamp and I was waiting to see if they'd find a way to translate it at a tier 1 level and
[00:19:02] oddly enough it was actually against Weibo where it worked in that first half of the
[00:19:05] Dominum across the map with so many fights. Weibo looked a little bit asleep at the wheel
[00:19:11] finding it difficult to get players in position etc etc. I had changed very quickly second half
[00:19:17] the complete opposite story with
[00:19:21] Waver commanding on defense F5 went
[00:19:23] back into a bit of a shell. I think
[00:19:25] of a little shell shots there facing
[00:19:27] Waver trying to attack and trying to
[00:19:29] make plays and show that initiative.
[00:19:31] So it's a little unfortunate that they
[00:19:33] walk away with nothing to show from
[00:19:35] that matchup in terms of impact on
[00:19:37] the standings. But I still think it
[00:19:39] put them in good stead heading into
[00:19:41] this matchup, which is a big one
[00:19:43] against Fury in terms of top
[00:19:45] Piri started really hot in that game yesterday against Daystar on Chalet, they got out to that 3-0 lead
[00:19:50] and then ultimately Daystar kind of got themselves back into the series, equaled it up at the half.
[00:19:54] We weren't quite sure where we were going to go into the second half, but in the end, Piri bought straight on their attack,
[00:20:00] looked really clinical, dark, elevated, he's gameplay, and look, they deserved that win.
[00:20:05] Daystar, a shambles of a stage, but I think for Piri, when you've got so much experience on this roster,
[00:20:13] a team that many, many years ago used to be competing to try and get to international events.
[00:20:18] Well, I don't want to say this feels like a last hurrah.
[00:20:21] In terms of what they did yesterday, now this challenge against their five,
[00:20:25] this does feel like a chance for them to still stay in a race for top two.
[00:20:30] I don't think they're going to have the capabilities of beating out of Wayvo Gaming.
[00:20:34] But I do think the best of three on a given day, where maybe they're 10% better than, say, a Sharper Esport,
[00:20:40] they could still qualify for Osaka and I do still think that they've got that within them
[00:20:44] especially if they just play to the best of their ability and they're very much going to be good enough
[00:20:49] it's just a matter of what's the consistency going to be like. I mean you look at their stage so far
[00:20:53] and really the only two losses have been against Alivate and against Waveboat. The Alivate loss
[00:20:58] now in hindsight has looked bad at the time but that was in playday two and I think also
[00:21:05] it doesn't really matter it's the best of one. So as long as they get on a good run here as
[00:21:08] as we go into the map, Nido is for this game. You beat Daystar, you beat F5, then you play
[00:21:12] triple nine, you probably win that. Then you actually play on the last playday and maybe
[00:21:16] not even for a spot in the top four, but sharper. And then that will get you ready
[00:21:20] for finals. As we head to clubhouse for this game, F5 were going to back up their performance
[00:21:25] yesterday against Weibo. Yuri though, will start defense.
[00:21:28] Yeah, in terms of Furious numbers, they've been to play it once this year that was
[00:21:33] against Daystar. They actually got hammered in that match. They only got one round. So
[00:21:38] that's kind of funny given the performance last night where they were able to get a
[00:21:42] win. That wasn't a best of three, however, one where Daystar actually very dominant and
[00:21:47] then went on to beat them 7-2 on Shallay. So looking like time ago, not going to worry
[00:21:51] about that too much. But I mapped that test structure and for F5 on their attacks
[00:21:55] yesterday, they got exposed. And so whilst Fury won't be the same challenge in that
[00:22:00] regard, it's still the style of map where F5 will need to be better structured than yesterday.
[00:22:05] Well, let's transition into the game shall we, and have a look at the recent form. Both
[00:22:09] two wings, two losses, six points and five points. Couldn't be closer coming into this
[00:22:13] match than for F5 despite the loss yesterday against Waveboat, called Shove Kasing, that
[00:22:18] this is a team that can be a threat for a final spot, maybe in finals. Go on that
[00:22:23] Cinderella run. They're going to have to be a lead a bit better, certainly in
[00:22:26] their attacking side of play. They struggled in that department on land and they will get that opportunity in the first half.
[00:22:32] And I think this first half will give us the most critical amount of information.
[00:22:37] If this ends up being a super defender side at half a few, 5-1, 6-0 territory.
[00:22:41] I won't go for 2, but 5-1 and more.
[00:22:44] And I struggle to see maybe F5 winning this game.
[00:22:47] I think Fury have got too much experience on a map like club to not then be capable of at least getting a minimum of 1 attacking round or 2.
[00:22:54] So F5 are going to have to, at least in my mind, get two attacking rounds in this half
[00:22:58] and show they can have good attacking play because they didn't show it yesterday
[00:23:02] and that was the only reason why they didn't walk away with points against Weibo.
[00:23:08] Now the bands for the first half played Zami and in my eyes were not fast enough.
[00:23:14] I'm an aging man, so I didn't quite see what the remaining bands were.
[00:23:17] We'll note those when we jump back into the server as all ten players prepare themselves to do battle.
[00:23:24] in terms of the attacking bands Ace and Snake. Now again, as we keep reiterating, this match especially big implications for the top four as it stands, in terms of the percentage chance to qualify to make the finals right now before this result,
[00:23:42] Fury sit at 60%, and F5 sit at 45%. Now I would hazard a guess that the result of this, especially if it were to be in regulation,
[00:23:52] one of these two teams takes all three points, is going to swing that dramatically.
[00:23:56] And for context, the teams that are trailing, Daystar, Jipodan, Dolphin, they're all under 10%.
[00:24:01] Like, there's a very, very, very low percent chance that any of those teams are making it.
[00:24:05] So the loser of this match is destined to probably finish in the bottom four both team stages really are quite literally
[00:24:14] percentage wise on
[00:24:15] Balance at the moment. It's very close to 50-50 for both of these two teams right now
[00:24:21] When you factor in the schedule ahead, I mean f5 still have got a place sheltering I will make next week
[00:24:26] So I think there's a tiny bit more emphasis on them to win this game. Whereas fury still get to play triple nine
[00:24:35] It's gonna come down to potentially that final day.
[00:24:37] Opening kill goes the way of KLZ on the Daymorse and a good start for F5.
[00:24:41] Getting rid of Kineki.
[00:24:44] Big extension for Fury here on the basement side of Clubhouse to begin in this game and they
[00:24:48] lose the first challenge and now Edward on Monty already getting in the face of Labyrinth down to Yellowpink.
[00:24:53] Labyrinth knows while the Monty's not the core threat.
[00:24:56] Or he might go for the shoulder shot instead of guard break into the headshot.
[00:25:00] It doesn't get the second but quite honestly dealing with the Monty
[00:25:04] and keeping it at a one-man disadvantage, not an awful effort from Lebrunth.
[00:25:13] Yeah, it's a bit of a strange trade. Yes, you take the Monty off the floor, but losing two now means
[00:25:18] that these pieces of the defense need to be really cognizant of not leaving a gap that's
[00:25:23] exploited. It's going to be very difficult to watch all positions with the hatch-drop threat
[00:25:30] and Roldini offside. I think if all three were on you could post one blue one main and the other
[00:25:36] would be a bit more versatile maybe watch dirt but two for those three funnels is really tricky and
[00:25:43] I don't really see a ward on which Roldini gets back towards the objective. This drone is likely
[00:25:48] to spot him out although it may have been a miss drone. I mean purely based on the body
[00:25:55] Body language. Janus will continue to watch this, so he wins this fight.
[00:25:59] Ah, but Jiri, anyway, has to get the kill from outside. It's a solid win there.
[00:26:01] Well, he doesn't win the fight, does he?
[00:26:03] Well, he doesn't win the fight because there was no fight.
[00:26:06] Oh, that's dark, unfortunate on the timing. Looking back for the potential push into church.
[00:26:11] You have the motorhole from Triple.
[00:26:14] There's Mark the Solid. What a great start from F5.
[00:26:16] They should be able to close this out.
[00:26:18] Mark's position known to the bomb chassis.
[00:26:20] And KLZ, who started it, will finish it. Well, there you go.
[00:26:23] That's a good way to kickstart this game, attacking around on Basement to open things up for F5.
[00:26:28] It was the one weakness in their game yesterday, but admittedly, when you're playing against Weibo,
[00:26:33] not many teams are going to be able to get many attacking rounds against Weibo anyways.
[00:26:37] So maybe you give them the pass.
[00:26:39] That's a good way to start, though. Must be a good feeling.
[00:26:42] Defensively yesterday, they were amazing.
[00:26:45] Evidently, on the attack of Lair, it was a tricky proposition for them.
[00:26:49] And attacking into Clubhouse, especially Basement, is not always as easy,
[00:26:52] Yeah, like the forwardness of this opening round. I mean look at that 55 seconds left
[00:26:58] They kind of just kept the pace going they didn't really slow down didn't allow fury to really reset get stabilized down in basement
[00:27:05] That's a really good round from f5 and showcasing that they're a team fighting the top four for a reason
[00:27:12] They haven't fluke their way to this position
[00:27:14] I'll also go back to that discussion quickly in terms of the aspirations and the chances
[00:27:22] to make top 4.
[00:27:23] I've had some much smarter people in behind the scenes crunch the numbers and a regulation
[00:27:29] loss here is all but aligned through the name so for context and it is going to depend
[00:27:36] on the results tonight but just purely based on this one in isolation so if F5 win
[00:27:42] agree well you can't I know you I know you're going with numbers I know you're
[00:27:47] going with the numbers but I'm looking at this it goes down the silver digits for
[00:27:51] context but yes when you when if you were to bias the results with what you
[00:27:54] expect to happen in some of their other games it probably does help a little bit
[00:27:58] but I mean if I win this they go to eight points but then you've got to
[00:28:06] play sharper and elevate so let's just say hypothetically they lose to those
[00:28:09] two games they stay on eight points fury then on six points and need to win one
[00:28:13] game and they played triple nine that completely outlandish to suggest that's
[00:28:18] a possibility so like I agree in the sense that you want to obviously win this
[00:28:21] game but I think it's more if F5 lose this game then yes I would probably put
[00:28:27] a line through them because I think fury would then go and beat triple nine
[00:28:30] as well and that would get them to a pointality that F5 then could not
[00:28:34] match. So, I didn't hire stakes for F5 and they've started really well in this game.
[00:28:44] You'll see what Furikin looks to do to respond here in the second round.
[00:28:47] I bring the Scopus on the gym bedroom site over towards Lodgy for now.
[00:28:52] I can't quite see where he put the shell.
[00:28:54] Okay, I was there already to stalk on the Zofia and Monty
[00:28:58] brought again in the second round from F5.
[00:29:04] As they may be looking for a util set here in 3-con, interesting lineup, does have triple
[00:29:12] impact of course if they could try and flash the defender in towards cash.
[00:29:15] Might go for the crunch instead, onto dark but he swings, good initiation, and again
[00:29:20] f5, struggling to get value from the Monty.
[00:29:23] You know, with a couch stand outside to net one back and Zedot's pucks one onto
[00:29:28] dark by just walking straight up red.
[00:29:31] And so somehow again despite a pretty suboptimal start to the round and especially losing the Monty on both occasions
[00:29:38] F5 have been able to stabilize. It's certainly not as adventagious as they found themselves in sort of this time last round
[00:29:44] But it's not unwinnable. There's gonna be a lot of U-Tool to lay over here on the objective and without the Monty for a bit of safety
[00:29:51] It's gonna be a challenge, but it's not the Capitao U-Tool to play off. They've got a Nade
[00:29:56] This is certainly possible for F5
[00:29:58] 30 seconds, 3v3. Two adrenal surges left for Yanis as well, plus the Capitao bold, but
[00:30:06] the Panaceous goes for the peek and Konecki gets the kill. Jittery finds a tight angle
[00:30:10] onto Labyrinth over. He thought he was safe behind the deployable shield. Zdox has used
[00:30:16] these incendiary bolts into War's bathroom. Roldini just stuck inside of the shower
[00:30:20] for now, but luckily Konecki did his job. Now makes it a 1v1. Roldini, stuck, made
[00:30:25] bit of contact. ZDUX has the information, pre-fire swing and what are we doing? Why
[00:30:32] are we swinging then shooting? Just just spray him down!
[00:30:40] Oh, I should have done it again early on here. It would seem. I thought he had
[00:30:44] him dead to rights to be honest. I mean he's just stuck in the shower. It's eight
[00:30:48] seconds or plenty of time. Just start spraying and just...
[00:30:53] It's a missed opportunity for F5 Fury get the second round
[00:31:04] Look back at the replay package for this round it will officially go down as zero players survive which is a rarity
[00:31:12] F5 did a decent job fighting back into the round duty with a good catch and run aside outside
[00:31:19] Zedux then one versus one
[00:31:21] caught sprinting, proved to be costly, makes no sense. If there was one second left, maybe,
[00:31:28] you know, like if there's the time factor and you literally have to sprint, but...
[00:31:34] It's a pretty surprise for you looking to play the Norhi around three. I presume it's
[00:31:44] been spotted because F5 will re-pick off the Monty. The Monty was killed early on,
[00:31:50] rounds I didn't think it was posing too much of a threat but I guess for this
[00:31:53] site specifically if Mark wants to play over towards rafters and that seems to be
[00:31:57] his position right now then better safe than sorry and then you do have the
[00:32:02] added benefit of maybe being up at 8 a little bit in terms of hybrid
[00:32:05] Stunnel but without the tub it's pretty limited.
[00:32:12] Yeah I'm sure a little surprised they've gone with the bandit instead of the
[00:32:15] tube route he couldn't bring the norm probably could just swap those two
[00:32:19] around unfortunately if I didn't bring triple impacts so they're pretty safe to
[00:32:25] play the bandit also into the maverick so doesn't matter but you got the maverick
[00:32:29] now anyway so yeah yeah I honestly if I'm at five and I see no castle and as a
[00:32:36] bandit again they may not have full info I just bring the fear and try and
[00:32:41] bait it for the kill you could even go as far as the playing yeah into that
[00:32:46] bait and trying to bait and switch the defense but they go the safer route nothing wrong with that
[00:32:51] either they've also they got the util belt set with the capital to play for artists there so
[00:32:58] see how plans out the maf trick has been a little bit sketchy but they'll follow it up with the
[00:33:02] thermite so can you can you use the horus launcher into the floor top of our upstairs is it a
[00:33:08] and I push up in what sense shooting it from rafters yeah like you as the nor in
[00:33:19] playing the rafters position just shooting at the floor and then having
[00:33:22] the fire stop the push up the stairs KZ gets the opening kill and roll beanie
[00:33:26] in so yeah I'm in you can I lounge you're pretty cliche yeah I don't know
[00:33:31] how effective thing nice kill all that with gunwood as long as you can always
[00:33:36] get at least this one kill. There is that Horus launcher towards the stairs.
[00:33:45] You think about one of the weaknesses really of that sort of Gara draft as
[00:33:47] whole, there's usually like the Monty pushing up and then like Nor could
[00:33:51] actually end up being a pretty good operator played from that position.
[00:33:57] Ock's very weakened now though.
[00:34:01] But no one's in the areas, couple of frag grenades from KLZ, so
[00:34:04] can play a little bit safer 40 seconds he's already got one kill for a lot of
[00:34:09] time and in the end the slow push up from Janus will get the free kill no one to
[00:34:14] really help out. Nitrosel from Kinect he's gonna have to be really really good.
[00:34:21] Actually had dark over the stalk and KLZ just gets the free entry kill and now
[00:34:26] only two on site left for Fury tucked into the corner like that's from
[00:34:29] No chance for the nitrosol from Kineke. That's actually a really well worked
[00:34:34] around for about five. Yeah, solid. I mean there wasn't really a moment where Fury
[00:34:40] looked like they got that round back under control.
[00:34:45] Yeah look I think I was a little bit concerned for F5's ability to attack
[00:34:51] on this style of map especially after what we saw yesterday but look as I guess
[00:34:56] I suspected that was more someone on way both their ability to lay pressure and really
[00:35:01] Shut down f5 early in that second half. We're not seeing the same concerns here
[00:35:07] That they're going through the checklist. They're making plays. They've been pretty proactive. They're gaining good info
[00:35:11] They're not afraid to then action off that information and
[00:35:15] They're kind of keeping fury honest here a lead after the first rotation
[00:35:19] on Capitao to be bent out so some of the trap you till off the board that's going to enable
[00:35:25] a little bit more freedom on shield play and lurk and then Capitao naturally strong for
[00:35:31] the basement set. I mean there's a util set for every side but basement and top floor
[00:35:34] especially going to be quite a strong operator now on the bench.
[00:35:40] 05 up and about definitely one of the more animated teams here in Asia every round win
[00:35:45] they get pretty excited which is good to see. On the side of Fury though for this
[00:35:50] basement reattempts it's looking like we're gonna see a castle mute room so
[00:35:55] they'll probably try and meet this attack head on. They still want to see him there from F5. I have strong
[00:36:01] confidence in their ability to clear this. They actually off the Monty
[00:36:07] So, oh no, back on. Right. Makes sense to me. Gonna bring the Demos as well for the information gain.
[00:36:16] We'll see if that is to be the case, if they want to go full map clear.
[00:36:20] There is also the possibility for a bit of dirt lock pressure, although in what I've seen in APL this stage, very few teams are willing to play that.
[00:36:29] Well I mean drop down for F5 as it's coming into this half that if they can get two rounds
[00:36:36] on the attack I think it puts them in a really good position defensively they looked really
[00:36:39] good yesterday on land I think that will translate to clubhouse and their general play has
[00:36:44] just been better than fury right now.
[00:36:47] Ziduck's five kills Khaos he's been really good on the entries.
[00:36:51] They've looked the better team and that's concerning if your fury is starting on defense
[00:36:54] club.
[00:36:55] They've got to really kick into gear quickly now heading back to basement
[00:36:59] which already was one back at the opening round and pretty comfortably too
[00:37:02] but I have to have five
[00:37:06] and it's the solo Rottini mute on the top floor with a bit of help maybe from
[00:37:13] secret later on but no one really positioned there.
[00:37:16] It's at the double-stack main stairs so I mean how long does Rottini stay here?
[00:37:22] I mean he had little to no impact last time on the roam or at least his ability to get
[00:37:26] back towards the objective was incredibly limited and F5 didn't feed into him, they didn't give
[00:37:32] him that opportunity that win condition that he was looking for in the round which was you
[00:37:36] know take one or two with me to the grave they just kind of ignored him and then cut
[00:37:39] off from outside so wouldn't be too surprised if they go for something similar here they'll
[00:37:44] just leave Roldini to himself he can't really do a whole lot from second floor if they
[00:37:47] feed into him and they have the cut covered.
[00:37:50] How's it we'll get live drone so this is interesting Rodini inside of garage drone will spot him
[00:37:57] out.
[00:37:58] There should be a free kill.
[00:37:59] Okay, I'll say this is very terrible.
[00:38:00] Just kill the drone.
[00:38:01] Oh my god.
[00:38:02] Yeah Rodini is just simply forward.
[00:38:04] I mean that's a team directive.
[00:38:06] It's not like Rodini said alright you got U4 go basement I'm gonna go play rafters
[00:38:10] like that's clearly something the whole team has to be in a greens off but it's
[00:38:13] just played horribly.
[00:38:17] opening kill for F5 and I'm left just bewildered by the play from Fury here on Clubhouse.
[00:38:23] There's just opening so many gaps for F5 to exploit and to their credit they are exploiting.
[00:38:30] And yeah the time starts to get a little bit low and they will need to be very clean in this
[00:38:34] execute because it's 40 seconds on the clock. Mark does get one but yeah this is the trade
[00:38:40] game that F5 can now play. It's actually pretty good at it. It's already been yesterday
[00:38:45] against Webrow. They play strengthened numbers. Usually everyone's on the same page. Jittery
[00:38:51] gets another one from Kitchen then follows up with a drop down kill on Kandaki. Water round
[00:38:56] from Jittery. Plants going down. Leblanc can't do anything. Fury haven't fired a shot and
[00:39:02] this needs to be timed out for Fury after this round immediately because this is a
[00:39:07] really sloppy start and F5 are making them look absolutely bang average. F5 are looking
[00:39:12] really good. Yeah, they are. I don't think Fury are playing into the weaknesses of F5 particularly
[00:39:22] well. If anything, playing into some of the strengths that I think we've actually seen them
[00:39:27] display over the course of this stage so far. So the Fury gameplay at the moment,
[00:39:31] I don't think has been the greatest, but as expected, they'll take that tactical time
[00:39:37] mountains are a bit of an opportunity to try and hit the reset button. In terms of
[00:39:42] revisiting those calculations as well so it wasn't as quite as dire as maybe I
[00:39:46] pictured it to be before it's not quite single digits for the loser of this
[00:39:49] matchup. You can just say JQ are right. That's fine. No, no, no. I don't think I've ever said that and I don't think I ever will.
[00:39:56] That's not a point in clock analogy. So a Fury win would leave F5 with a 27% chance of
[00:40:04] qualification whereas for an f5 win fury would still actually have a 40% chance
[00:40:09] given some of the string for the rest of the stage so I mean it's still well below
[00:40:15] 50 it's not you don't want to be there you don't win I want to confirm see so
[00:40:21] saying if f5 win that suddenly fury are gonna have the better path but and
[00:40:25] that's why I sort of emphasized was it's far more impactful for f5 to win
[00:40:30] this game and I think most statistics clearly showed that there's a fury
[00:40:33] win this game is to set 92% f5 go down to 27 but if f5 win 81 to 40 is obviously better so I mean
[00:40:40] there's more on the line I think for f5 in this game based on again the scheduling to follow next
[00:40:46] week and so far maybe even the scheduling next week might not be the full concern for them
[00:40:51] because the way that they're playing here I wouldn't be surprised if they can take it up
[00:40:55] to sharper and elevate on the final two play days and sometimes with the way the schedule
[00:40:59] works out for a team especially like f5 coming out of tier 2 you get an opportunity okay day one
[00:41:06] didn't go their way against daystar but maybe back then daystar didn't know they were about to start
[00:41:11] the descent then you go and beat two opponents that maybe we thought were going to be closer to
[00:41:16] their level in triple nine in dolphin and your competitive against wave break so you kind of
[00:41:20] play four games and you get up to scratch you're in a bit of form and they're taking that now
[00:41:26] well and truly into this game of fury you win this then you full of confidence going into the last week that you do belong that you
[00:41:32] should be in finals
[00:41:34] And you're not going to fear sharper or elevate
[00:41:38] Because once you rattle the beast you can very much rattle everyone else in this region
[00:41:42] They're rattling fury really well in this first half
[00:41:46] I'm getting on the f5 train. Oh
[00:41:50] When you bought the JJ, get us a tendency to derail
[00:41:56] Actually, no they to be fair that's more so tested on individual players
[00:42:00] I don't know if we've seen you curse a whole five man roster yet. Maybe that's still up the wheelhouse
[00:42:07] But I mean I agree I'm in a grains
[00:42:09] I think they've impressed that they they impressed me genuinely at a tier 2 level and I was obviously very uncertain if they'd be able
[00:42:14] to translate that any
[00:42:16] Stretch the imagination to one because we typically don't see it at least not in their first stage, but
[00:42:22] We've seen some good glimpses from them, playing well as a team but also having some really
[00:42:28] strong individual players and moments.
[00:42:30] And a good test before them here in the fifth round, they lose the first pick, they lose
[00:42:35] arguably their star player in Yannis, I don't know if that's maybe a bit of an overstatement,
[00:42:40] but we've seen some really, really good stuff from him.
[00:42:42] Okay, so I mean, yeah, now missing as well the full kill on the dark, but as
[00:42:48] you're kind of alluding to, what's the follow-up now for F5 in this opening death?
[00:42:51] So far, 100% open and kill conversion for pro teams.
[00:42:55] F5 has just had far more of them.
[00:42:58] Like a heavy amount of pressure on Dark Insider Cash.
[00:43:00] He was the hero yesterday,
[00:43:01] the MVP one and five in this game,
[00:43:03] but Mark and Kineke, especially from Mark,
[00:43:06] got on the move, finally a response from Fury.
[00:43:09] That is the first time we've seen them do that,
[00:43:11] this entire half.
[00:43:12] Where's that ping?
[00:43:14] Yeah, solid work.
[00:43:19] I mean, an individual moment, but the setup there from the rest of the team was pretty
[00:43:24] good.
[00:43:25] Didn't bleed unnecessary picks.
[00:43:26] They were welcoming the pressure, but then in the meantime, repositioning defenders, putting
[00:43:31] Mark in a good spot to make a play.
[00:43:34] I mean, outside of that, not a huge amount to comment on.
[00:43:37] There's a bump in the road for F5, I would assume, a little incentive for them to call
[00:43:42] the tactical timeout, just the one round remaining in the half.
[00:43:45] They've already been able to capture three attacks, anything from here.
[00:43:48] Typically consider the bonus you could maybe stress an argument that if they wanted to take attack and really discuss basement if they think
[00:43:54] They have a good way of cracking it
[00:43:56] That would be good
[00:43:57] But the reality is they've already won it back to back and it's probably oddly enough actually been the weakest looking side from fury
[00:44:03] So I didn't have a pretty good read and how they want to play this site. I don't need to take the break
[00:44:09] In terms of composition Daniels back in play
[00:44:12] They're roam clear and their map clear and they cut offs back to side have been really really good
[00:44:16] I love the introduction as well of the Nomad is to offer a little bit more flame catch
[00:44:19] We haven't seen that from them so that will be largely in exchange of the Monty
[00:44:23] But they change it late for the third which is interesting
[00:44:27] So we'll see how they try and include that I guess it's probably for kitchen haul bring a couple of nades as well
[00:44:31] It could help with some of the util clearance on this objective and then from the side of fury
[00:44:37] Pretty different looking lineup for them as well patch clash. They even the warlin in play which
[00:44:44] which is a little peculiar given we, I mean we've been seeing in the last couple of rounds
[00:44:49] so I suppose it might be in anticipation for that utility, the Capitao of course was banned
[00:44:54] out so that's not necessarily a major concern but you're going to have to see how they're
[00:45:00] trying to put Kineke in a position here to be influential.
[00:45:04] Yeah I agree, I think it's probably based off what we saw in terms of getting usage
[00:45:09] the last two rounds prior to this and then if they don't bring it, fine. Less pressure than on
[00:45:14] Kineki to have to be the hero on the warden means his life is not as super valuable.
[00:45:21] Brings deployable shield in this round anyway, couple of smokes from Edward so I mean he may
[00:45:25] still get some value. I tell you what they try different things at least fury and have a good
[00:45:36] chance to now still get the 3-3. The operator lineups have been changing quite a bit. They're definitely
[00:45:43] experimenting. Well it's taking them a while to start using this clash and now back to backgrounds.
[00:45:51] I think it's going to have good effect. This is going to be a new challenge that F5 have to
[00:45:55] contend with on this base and site. They're not afforded a free-opening kill like the world's
[00:46:00] rafters. They've got extra mini-games they have to contend with. And so Fury can kind of get
[00:46:05] that time down to about 30 seconds and it's a 5v5 I think they'll be in much
[00:46:09] better shape to win this round and tie the half.
[00:46:15] It's checklist at the moment for F5 as I looked at Chippewaway setting the ground
[00:46:20] for this final push. Nitro at third from dark, only one left in play,
[00:46:24] Naldini's over to Arsenal so keep that in mind for the clash position late
[00:46:27] which can be influential but Nitro doesn't quite land. If he killed Jittery there
[00:46:31] that could have been big. I think the X-Cars had already been
[00:46:34] So the wall of course would have still been exposed and that will flush out this church position a little bit
[00:46:40] Mark goes for the off meta boost. I'll play close box
[00:46:45] F5 have they got info have they got a read they need to make them move
[00:46:48] Yeah, I mean they dropped down this motor hatch at least one's dead
[00:46:51] And then the trade game begins and fury are gonna be ahead of that
[00:46:54] So for f5 now someone has to go and get two three kills in this round
[00:46:57] This is gonna have to be a really good multi-kill round
[00:46:59] As Dark finds the first pick on the Z-Dibs, the second shot will be dead instantly.
[00:47:04] Oh my God, Mark, no way. No way.
[00:47:07] Edward then found a second onto Kineke.
[00:47:10] Of course, he's got the shotgun! Dark is so fortunate he's just better.
[00:47:14] That got a little spicy.
[00:47:16] But in the end, we are tied here on Clubhouse in this two or die game, 3-3, heading into the second half.
[00:47:29] I
[00:47:59] Mentalist is out of deal, what you think it cost me out of deal?
[00:48:03] All I know is I ain't mean for the dope
[00:48:07] Since it touched down, all I want is hope
[00:48:11] Now I know I'm too proud, I ain't tryna feel
[00:48:15] Just run it off, run it up to late
[00:48:17] My money wrong, project wrong, feel at home
[00:48:19] Got the juice, many made, I'm calling game in his face
[00:48:22] Soon as Slim hit a J, when it gave my people on
[00:48:25] Won't be long till we all see it on stage
[00:48:28] Get right out what I do
[00:48:30] I know they can't tie it off how I move
[00:48:31] I still get it right off on this junkie shit
[00:48:33] I knew we been clean and we was cool
[00:48:35] Really I was just playing it by the roof
[00:48:37] Still moving like gang I never lose
[00:48:39] The whole storm won't know until I shone
[00:48:41] And that's why I just try and keep it smooth
[00:48:43] Did it all of my prying just to prove
[00:48:45] That I can make it all real without their news
[00:48:47] It's what I hold on, can't on stop this soon
[00:48:49] All I know is I can't mean for the dope
[00:48:53] Since it took me out on it for the quote
[00:48:57] Now don't go around like trying to beat it, just run it on, run it on till I get up to beat it.
[00:49:04] Just run it on, run it on till I get up to beat it.
[00:49:26] The 3-3, a fun opening half here in Clubhouse.
[00:49:30] A little similar to the day start I came yesterday, guys,
[00:49:33] where it was, you know, 3 to Fury, then 3 to Daystar.
[00:49:35] Well, it wasn't exactly the same.
[00:49:38] A 3-1 lead for F5, then Fury closed it out,
[00:49:40] tied at the half.
[00:49:42] Curious to now see where the second half goes,
[00:49:44] because it's not gonna be as easy to just say,
[00:49:47] well, F5 got the three attacking grounds,
[00:49:49] defenders are typically at times,
[00:49:51] and while they did look good on lead defensively,
[00:49:54] How much of that yesterday was also in due part to the Hoffen shenanigans that Turd was alluding to in the interview.
[00:50:00] So I mean, this is still a game I think that's going to be quite wide open, double shield ban,
[00:50:04] Kaeyid banned it for the Wolden, I'll ban it away as well.
[00:50:07] Uri a decent shot here on their attacks as well. This could get really close.
[00:50:12] And the other part of this, I might need you to go back to the people behind the scenes running the numbers.
[00:50:17] But what happens if this goes OT?
[00:50:19] Because that might shake things up and that might be a really good pathway for Daystar as well.
[00:50:24] I don't want to overload their brains, Jake, I mean...
[00:50:28] I don't want the mathematicians turning out before me.
[00:50:32] I guess we can wait six rounds to see what happens.
[00:50:36] Look, if I had to...
[00:50:40] Yes, I think... if you do some like...
[00:50:42] It couldn't be any rough math.
[00:50:44] Very rough math.
[00:50:46] Well, yeah, for Daystar, yes. And then in terms of the chances for these two teams, it would just be kind of somewhere
[00:50:52] in the middle of the extremities that we listed before, right? So, we basically just leave it
[00:50:57] a little unsettled, but...
[00:50:59] Yeah, we'll see if that tiles the ventuate. A few got what it takes here to show the same
[00:51:05] proactiveness on attack that we saw from F5, which was of course good enough to
[00:51:11] see them achieve an even scoreline. Bands 4, the second half, double shield, about
[00:51:16] I'm at five and then double warden oil from fury as they play room mute here
[00:51:23] Counterplay to the snake or Deimos
[00:51:27] I'm no to him neither is in play
[00:51:30] And it's be carefully doesn't get cut off here
[00:51:36] There's a drone in the pool if I can fix it
[00:51:39] That was close with KLZ on the flip back over to Kineke. I
[00:51:43] I like the fact he's not stationary though, just on the move. Always expecting someone to be in some way, gets a bit of help from Edward.
[00:51:50] He'll go back down, Edward will then follow behind him.
[00:51:57] Pre-placed Nitro that Edward can get the intel off, and I like the activity early from F5, but I also like the fact that Fury are pretty clued on.
[00:52:06] But the way that they're droning and
[00:52:09] Just not walking into the building carelessly they're giving respect to f5's ability to kind of push around the map
[00:52:15] Now that they're pushing back down to site 5v5
[00:52:19] The area will get into the checklist game still to boogie auto breaches for dark
[00:52:23] And this is where I think for a team like theory. They're gonna be good at maybe playing off this ver
[00:52:28] We didn't quite see f5 do the same already damaged onto Edward
[00:52:31] position now around kitchen and main stairs established and they will have
[00:52:36] the blitz then for the execute into the site. Fury wall set up.
[00:52:44] Plenty of time still to work with here for the attack.
[00:52:49] Playing into the mirror though in the clash is a little bit concerning for me.
[00:52:53] We'll see just how effective that ends up being for the side of F5. If they
[00:52:57] go for hatch drop. I'll be playing into the Nitro of Yannis but he's open towards church.
[00:53:04] Jittery though, those smokes should be able to layer that in towards the default plant
[00:53:07] position. Oh, the Necky! That's ballsy to take that fight but it wins out the high
[00:53:12] ground. Good enough to win that duel. So Fury, a player up 40 seconds.
[00:53:18] Yeah, go off this though. I mean this is where I think teams just fall out too
[00:53:22] much. You clear the mirror window player. That means someone has to rotate over,
[00:53:25] They're out of position, caps open up.
[00:53:27] They do go for the plant.
[00:53:28] Gittery and K.L.Z. though well positioned.
[00:53:31] K.L.Z. still defending Arsenal.
[00:53:33] The problem is not everyone kind of went here with Fury.
[00:53:36] Couple of late arrivals, but it doesn't matter
[00:53:38] because those late arrivals have made an impact
[00:53:40] and it's only Edward left.
[00:53:41] Niki down, so it's a 2v1 in favor of Fury
[00:53:44] as Leverent catches out the clash
[00:53:46] and Fury will get themselves the lead here on Clubhouse
[00:53:50] for the very first time.
[00:53:53] And they take basement as well.
[00:53:55] we keep going with that 100% opening kill conversion.
[00:53:58] Neither team showcasing that ability,
[00:54:01] kind of get the round back on their terms
[00:54:03] once they lose that opening player.
[00:54:05] And while F5 did a decent job of just almost stabilizing
[00:54:10] because of the sort of way that Fury were attacking it,
[00:54:13] first kind of entry, then the second entry,
[00:54:16] that did give F5 a small little window,
[00:54:18] right here, 3v3, 25 seconds.
[00:54:20] But as soon as Dark wins that battle from Kitchen,
[00:54:22] round's done.
[00:54:25] Yeah, it was a key duel to win that out of the first so solid work from him good position made it count
[00:54:32] Composure
[00:54:34] And with that a solid start for fury
[00:54:39] The basement site seemingly very strong
[00:54:42] For the attack at four appearances now in three of those the majority of those rounds have been successful for the attack and
[00:54:50] and can't right off the top of my head, I'll have to take a little bit to load up the numbers, but
[00:54:56] if I had to guess what that map is globally, or what that objective is globally this year,
[00:55:01] I would say it's probably at least 60% towards defense, maybe like 65, so yeah that's pretty crazy.
[00:55:11] I mean once you get into like the global numbers, unless it's an NA and then it's like
[00:55:15] 80% attack. We didn't even get that a little bit.
[00:55:26] Okay, so Clubhouse. 1880 rounds played this year globally.
[00:55:34] 56% defense. I was actually pretty close. I was pretty
[00:55:37] I've got it from the 1st of September so this stage alone clearly it sets it 50%
[00:55:41] Yeah, not much
[00:55:43] I know but I'm saying for stage 2
[00:55:47] I've got a maximum data
[00:55:48] Or ZDUX?
[00:55:49] Oh, he had a little chance there
[00:56:01] Although I don't know if I trust this
[00:56:03] What I'm looking at because it says bar stage since that 100% defensive winner at this stage and that's just not true
[00:56:16] Jim bedroom the side of choice here for the 8th round and this is on clubhouse this year globally a bang-on 50 50 site
[00:56:27] across 610 rounds
[00:56:30] That's Fury to find the first kill and as he highlighted before it's still a 100%
[00:56:37] entry conversion ratings. Both these teams finding it difficult to fight from behind
[00:56:42] and here is the snowball from the attack.
[00:56:43] Yeah I mean to be fair Fury aren't really giving too many avenues for these trades and
[00:56:47] they're five on the best positions. Not really playing off each other as much either as
[00:56:52] Mark slips into the gym for the plant. Good chance now for Fury to get a little
[00:56:55] extended lead. Yannis, oh my god he got a cross. He got one drop of a window
[00:56:58] and then he dies as well. What a hero play from Yannis!
[00:57:03] The Kineke will put him to bed and leave it down to ZDUX. Again the cross made as Kineke
[00:57:10] grabs the kit. ZDUX then can't fully connect on to Roll Dean and the plant will go down.
[00:57:15] ZDUX has to make a push, makes the cross, gets passed from top main, catches out the
[00:57:21] foot of Kineke, 14 bullets left, doesn't go for the reload, no can't get the kill and it's 2 in a row
[00:57:31] here on this second half for Fury and 4 in a row in the entire game and unfortunately as soon as
[00:57:39] F5 went 3-1 up and I said I was joining that train it has derailed
[00:57:45] I might hop off on the next station
[00:57:51] Well, I mean it was a fair clutch attempt there, Janus in particular was wreaking havoc and almost brought that round back
[00:58:00] But this is a good example of time management. So they, there's a minute on the clock
[00:58:04] He makes his hero play 2v2, but imagine now if there was 10 seconds or 15 seconds left on the clock
[00:58:09] That probably would win the round for F5, but because Fury
[00:58:13] Went earlier in the round and had good pace and went off that opening kill followed through
[00:58:18] Went for the plant when they knew the gap had opened up
[00:58:21] That gave them enough room then to reset and that was the reason why they were able to still win that round
[00:58:35] So back to basement to go f5 electing not to go
[00:58:39] Cash up next and said they want to go for the repeat
[00:58:42] And so we'll see if this one is successful pretty different looking lineup. They drop
[00:58:47] Clash they drop a mirror
[00:58:49] more active and yeah they're going to be a little bit more active they probably sensing
[00:58:56] a few and their structure on this here at least last time is really good at being able to sort
[00:59:01] of circumnavigate that. Zedak's stock aggro hatch not open for the fallback. Probably makes
[00:59:09] the right call there and giving up on that and trying to rotate back has the key buff.
[00:59:14] The playoff of the wood secret.
[00:59:18] There's the rest of the hold, Yannis bar.
[00:59:20] Kazi stairs.
[00:59:22] And then the two stack of jittery and Edward on site.
[00:59:27] And in terms of the activity, it doesn't have to be overzealous.
[00:59:29] Like, you can just play these dead positions.
[00:59:31] Play secret, play mage, maybe one bar, get rid of a couple of drones.
[00:59:35] You know, waste a minute and a half.
[00:59:37] And then if you fall back, you fall back.
[00:59:39] You got double Microsoft, so maybe look to play that into the vert game that you will eventually give up.
[00:59:43] up but Yanis doesn't go over to a strip and don't mind this.
[00:59:49] Fury's not really going to go to Dirt Rush, they've also got them off the canister set
[00:59:54] up to kind of deny that anyway.
[00:59:55] I think this is a better strategy that's been employed by F5.
[01:00:00] And now it's a full stack but they'll leave Yanis as the key roaming threat that
[01:00:05] maybe Fury won't expect if they haven't drawn strip side of the map because a lot of
[01:00:10] the present actually shown from F5 was more secret side rather than strip so I think Yannis
[01:00:16] has rotated in really nicely in a half just sit here and wait for the next 30-40 seconds
[01:00:21] and then look for it back here I wouldn't worry about outside then he's just more so
[01:00:25] careful in case someone makes an entry but eventually he should turn his attention towards
[01:00:30] kitchen.
[01:00:31] Oh, Konecki falls, good setup there with the razor bloom and a good catch from the side
[01:00:41] of F5.
[01:00:42] It's Yannis in an even better position now, where he got a little bit more proactively.
[01:00:48] Yeah, that won't have the clue.
[01:00:51] I'm seeing if Konecki flicks the drone, but he hasn't.
[01:00:56] approach from Yanis, catches the timing, gets the free kill and the second on the
[01:01:01] mark of the round is done.
[01:01:04] For four to five.
[01:01:09] It's Furycourt asleep at the wheel allowing that rooming to fend up and
[01:01:15] despite the next two kills it's just not gonna be enough as ZDUX and
[01:01:19] Jittery put an end to the round and F5 finally will stop this run from Fury.
[01:01:25] Just as I hopped off the train. For the better sake, I'll wait for the next one.
[01:01:38] They fixed up the parts that were causing it to just teeter off the tracks.
[01:01:43] They're back towards their destination to try to win this game.
[01:01:46] And again, considering Fury did get to five, they can't really allow any more rounds now.
[01:01:51] now they need to probably win the next three straight to well they need to win
[01:01:55] the next three straight to get all three points. If this does go to overtime
[01:02:02] F5 would go to seven points with a win but Fury would also go to seven points
[01:02:07] with an OT loss and they would have the same round differential. Kind of
[01:02:11] leaves both of them then in a perilous position while then allowing
[01:02:14] Daystar way back in late in this stage.
[01:02:21] Daystar right now you're hoping this goes to OT.
[01:02:23] Yeah, I'm hoping no stars align.
[01:02:27] But let's see what happens.
[01:02:30] I'm back to Jim Benjamin for the 10th round.
[01:02:34] If I'd be back onto the mirror, we'll see if I can aid them on somebody on the site
[01:02:39] and the structure play that's going to be required on this particular objective.
[01:02:42] Goat flanked last time out, courtesy of Yannis.
[01:02:46] Do you think it would have to say if that was necessarily round defining or round winning?
[01:02:50] I suppose it definitely did cut out any opportunity for Fury to be able to
[01:02:54] formulate a push on towards the site, so from that perspective it was good.
[01:02:59] Went on to claim three kills total in that round.
[01:03:04] They back and forth as you can see that on the round history.
[01:03:08] Last time out on this objective it was a successful attack
[01:03:11] attack, full fury. You come down to a live in the end, but that was courtesy of a pretty
[01:03:18] brazen clutch attempt from Yannis outside of that fury, but both structured and particularly
[01:03:23] afforded themselves a lot of time. So I think from the perspective of F5, they're going
[01:03:26] to probably try a little bit harder here in stalling out that push. And a force a bit
[01:03:32] more of a grind around here from the attack.
[01:03:34] Ubral mirror trick and that the land
[01:03:40] And they just one exo now left for Kineke so I
[01:03:44] Could put them in a precarious position if jacuzzi isn't opened up. It's just less perceived pressure on them up
[01:03:55] I don't know if jacuzzi is gonna be really opened up
[01:03:58] I mean you got the secondary to leprons, but it's just gonna be a mess and dealing with the mirror window
[01:04:03] You've got quad nitrocell to deal with this might have to be fury in this round now far more of that focus
[01:04:09] Then play the balcony maybe get someone on main stairs potentially logic. I think jacuzzi might have to be an afterthought
[01:04:20] And it looks like it will be
[01:04:27] And I don't mind that I mean F5 clearly
[01:04:29] brought something to stop that jacuzzi wall being opened up. Fury don't just kind of stumble
[01:04:36] then and act a little bit unsure as to what to do. They just kind of go through with the
[01:04:40] rest of the plan without jacuzzi being opened. Wouldn't mind Blitz maybe pushing into logic
[01:04:48] here. Nice pick from Rolppini. Yeah, now they can follow up as well. It's what's
[01:04:55] another one mark will push through still got
[01:04:58] valdynia's cover avoid the nitrocell
[01:05:01] good adaptation and flexibility shown from fury in this round
[01:05:04] slowing down the pace nitrocell damage but now most of it
[01:05:08] mainly avoided they do get the kill on valdynia big pick for f5
[01:05:14] mark oh no into the tripway and he's down
[01:05:19] oh no way hey should be recoverable
[01:05:23] Oh, no. It's over dark.
[01:05:25] He almost worked, and then Leprechaun able to deal with KLZ, it's only Jittery left.
[01:05:30] And he loses the battle to Leprechaun who saves the day inside a Lodgy.
[01:05:35] Yuri will get to 6. F5 cannot get 3 points from this game.
[01:05:39] The best they can manage now is to force over time.
[01:05:45] Yeah, wow, that's a huge round.
[01:05:47] It was a massive onslaught over towards Lodgy in that round.
[01:05:50] round it was it felt a little up in the air in terms of the end result but yeah
[01:05:55] good work from Labyrinth, Stark of course with his entry kill started to unravel a
[01:06:02] little bit there I thought that Mark being downed courtesy of the the trip
[01:06:06] I was quite literally gonna trip them up in the round but they're able to still
[01:06:11] continue their way applying good pressure onto the defense F5 were given
[01:06:15] little option they sensed that they had to swing trying you know
[01:06:18] continuously take these fights instead of peeling back and maybe they would have
[01:06:22] if they had their time over but ultimately it's a situation we now find ourselves in
[01:06:27] it's match point four fury and if f5 want to retain it a realistic chance or
[01:06:35] still a strong chance of making the top four they need to push overtime a loss
[01:06:41] Cossk here in regulation is going to be quite costly
[01:06:50] Three rounds is not impossible so I mean I'm not giving up just yet for F5
[01:06:55] They're gonna need the opening kill the way this game is going 100% conversion after 10 rounds
[01:07:00] It's clearly being a big factor
[01:07:11] The credits of Fury, they've been on a rampage really ever since the opening four rounds
[01:07:17] that came and went and since then it's just been their game.
[01:07:31] Yannis has turned out on the North to play over towards Rafters with the Horus Launcher.
[01:07:38] It's extremely execute-centered composition here from the attack.
[01:07:46] I do wonder if you even consider just going main breach direct to try to go for a sort
[01:07:50] of tuck plant position close to right of the wall.
[01:07:54] Sometimes you can pull that off pending the U2 layer, so we'll see if that is to be the
[01:07:57] play.
[01:07:58] Maybe they go for the dive deep.
[01:08:00] I think it's going to be direct either way.
[01:08:02] Oh, good flush, but Janus is better.
[01:08:07] out of rafters though so at least position clear to the fury. Are they aware of Z docks?
[01:08:15] Interesting little position that mark might not spot. He doesn't spot anything and then Z docks
[01:08:22] if he times this right might just catch him smoke still up. Does get him low but mark now aware
[01:08:27] of the threat. As Kanaki finds the kill onto KLZ. Jittery got brought back up he was downed
[01:08:35] but revived on the Tachanka over the Ward's lounge.
[01:08:40] He needs to make his way back up Red Stairs, get back to site.
[01:08:43] The Shamiko launcher is going to be useful late in this match point round.
[01:08:47] Xidok's on the move, trying to retake some space inside a garage
[01:08:51] and block off the ability for Mark to play from this position.
[01:08:55] But also gives himself a chance, although Cleymore will deny potential runout.
[01:09:02] Oh, that's a good type of position there.
[01:09:04] Oh, drawing, good drawing.
[01:09:05] Yeah, unfortunate.
[01:09:09] All he plays behind the bicycle, oh!
[01:09:12] Doesn't hit the shots.
[01:09:14] I think Xeaduck knows his life is super important.
[01:09:17] If he dies here, full garage control for Fury.
[01:09:19] And West Bank going down anyway inside a CCTV.
[01:09:22] How is no one denying that plant?
[01:09:25] Bynsecill on to dark, they will still have garage
[01:09:28] for the potential retake attempt.
[01:09:31] It's Mark though, up on the glass.
[01:09:33] And Leprince just sitting outside a CCTV ready now for this post plan.
[01:09:38] I mean ideally they don't need to run out. A secret jump out here it is, but it's covered.
[01:09:43] 20 seconds, Yannis can last one up.
[01:09:45] And Yannis could not be the hero as Fury will get this done. All three points are quiet on Clubhouse.
[01:09:51] In a crucial matchup between two teams close on points trying to get into the top four,
[01:09:57] It's fury that will maintain their position in the top four even now temporarily jumping above elevators
[01:10:04] They get to nine points and leave at five stranded on five points. That's been the horrible number
[01:10:11] But at five they got to five yesterday against Waybo
[01:10:14] They couldn't get to five today and therefore stay on five points and now a gap has formed to the top four
[01:10:22] For our Cinderella tier two team
[01:10:27] Yeah, look at a bit of a shaky first half in Fury. I was quite concerned. They showed
[01:10:32] an inability really to defend that basement site successfully just once in the first three
[01:10:38] attempts and at that half-time break that the tackle had used, I was concerned. I really
[01:10:43] thought we were going to see F5 be able to pull off this result but unfortunately, not
[01:10:49] quite having the structures there in place defensively to kind of keep Fury at bay.
[01:10:54] You did a pretty good job though, a couple of rounds there where I didn't think the primary
[01:10:58] playing quite worked out or they either had to pivot to a play and beat or they really
[01:11:02] had to just go for all in plays despite some of the resistance that F5 did offer and they
[01:11:07] were just a little bit better in being able to refine that and get it across the line.
[01:11:11] An ugly win for Fury in some regards but a win is a win.
[01:11:15] It's the kind of matchup where it doesn't really matter what it looks like inside of
[01:11:17] the server.
[01:11:18] It's so desperate to get those points to keep finals hopes and aspirations alive
[01:11:22] and they do that.
[01:11:24] Unfortunately for F5, they're now in a pretty rough spot.
[01:11:26] Well, it's great to have our interview with Manny, the analyst,
[01:11:29] for Fury after their win.
[01:11:30] And Manny, a very important win.
[01:11:33] Might I add, by the way, I thought Dev just showed up
[01:11:35] on my screen for a second.
[01:11:36] He looked very striking resemblance.
[01:11:38] Congratulations on the win.
[01:11:39] And certainly for the week as a whole, Manny,
[01:11:41] considering really coming into this week,
[01:11:43] it was super important you guys get the wins.
[01:11:46] Yeah, of course.
[01:11:47] I think we had a lot.
[01:11:49] We had to set an easy start against Dolphin there.
[01:11:51] It was two very difficult adventures after that.
[01:11:53] Elevator kicked up really well, they're a very strong roster and we both are we both are one of the top eight teams in the world
[01:11:58] So we knew how important this week was going into it and it's just been getting a lot of prep
[01:12:03] And it's been a very heavy week on my end. I got called into two workships
[01:12:07] I didn't know I have I had a best of five grand founds in a random tier four league last night
[01:12:10] So I was up till about 3 a.m. Doing the prep for this game, which was an absolute nightmare
[01:12:15] But that's what you got to do sometimes and yet the boys have been putting really hard in screams constantly
[01:12:20] We know how strong our attacks are, we know how strong our fundamentals are.
[01:12:23] We couldn't get a lot of prep runs for this game, because the thoughts we had were to 7-0s that they won from Bootcamp and by the second game they'd already qualified.
[01:12:30] So it was a lot of just running about, hiding strat stuff like that.
[01:12:33] But the boys just relied on their fundamentals today, we played really well, so I think our attacks were really fantastic.
[01:12:38] So yeah, really happy with how it was played.
[01:12:42] Yeah, absolutely. I mean, talk us through maybe from your perspective as an analyst, as the support crew.
[01:12:46] when you're going into a matchup like this against a team that has very little data, has very little vods,
[01:12:51] they've shown a bit of pizzazz, obviously yesterday against Weibo they've looked quite strong.
[01:12:55] How do you sort of approach this matchup from your perspective and ensure that the team's as best prepared as possible?
[01:13:01] It's like I say, you've just got to go back to the fundamentals really.
[01:13:03] Like, we know they're a very good team.
[01:13:05] To be 5-1 up against Weibo at any point is incredibly impressive.
[01:13:09] These guys can shoot.
[01:13:10] Khaelzi is one of the best young gunners in the world.
[01:13:13] I think he'll be on the top team very soon.
[01:13:15] Gannett as well, he's a star player, he's proven that he can shoot against the very best.
[01:13:19] We know what they like to do, we know they like to power positions, they like to get
[01:13:23] fragged early.
[01:13:24] If we can set an execute against them like we did on the first basement attack, like
[01:13:27] we did on the first gym attack, like we did in that last round against CC, that's where
[01:13:30] they really struggle.
[01:13:31] They have to power early to get these kills, that's what we saw on the other maps.
[01:13:35] So even if we don't have much foreclub rep wise, we know very little what they
[01:13:39] do and they change a lot of it anyway.
[01:13:40] It's just knowing again our fundamental attacks are very very strong, we can
[01:13:43] do with these very much on paper executes we take these power positions we abuse operators
[01:13:48] like the grin, the glass, the shields to take these positions to power areas using the cali
[01:13:53] on and the logic hatch as well stuff like that. If we can get ourselves in these positions
[01:13:56] where we can rely more on the utility and more on the operators that we can bring to
[01:14:01] get us these kills, get us in these positions and not just having to win these heads up
[01:14:05] and fights that's where we win it out. So once we get to a position where we're
[01:14:08] executing with 4 examples left 5v4, 5v3, 4v3 whatever we know we're always going
[01:14:13] win the out they almost won the gym attack on a bit of a power play but even
[01:14:16] then we were able to look back and that's the thing time after time if they
[01:14:19] weren't able to get those kills early we just went out the attack and that's what
[01:14:22] we saw in prep and that's what the boys were able to do first though I think we're
[01:14:26] gonna have to hire you to help train the players not just in the game but
[01:14:30] out of the game after interviews tremendous job from you anything you'd
[01:14:33] like to say before we let you go yeah I just like to say shout out to Slim the
[01:14:37] coach for F5 he's a guy I've worked with for a long time he was part of
[01:14:41] A7 project last year. He's a good lad. He's took two teams from the depths of CL all the way to
[01:14:47] very top of Pro League and been competitive twice. He's one of the most underrated coaches in the game
[01:14:51] and he really gave us a run for our money today, so yeah, just shout at them.
[01:14:54] Awesome. Thank you so much, Manny, for coming on and having a chat. And obviously,
[01:14:57] best of luck next week is still another big week ahead.
[01:15:01] Yeah, brilliant. Thank you very much, boys.
[01:15:04] Well, in the end for Fury, it was looking like a stage that might pass them by and not
[01:15:09] not make finals, but six points gained this week
[01:15:12] as in two massive matchups against A-Star and F5.
[01:15:15] They win both of them 7-3 and 7-4
[01:15:17] and they pass their test with flying colors.
[01:15:20] But as I was learning too, of course,
[01:15:22] job's not completely done for them.
[01:15:24] Still some big games next week against Triple 9
[01:15:26] and then certainly to close against Sharpa.
[01:15:28] More important than for Fury,
[01:15:29] as long as they don't trip up and fall against Triple 9,
[01:15:32] I think that should now be top four
[01:15:34] with that result against Triple 9.
[01:15:36] But if they do lose to Triple 9,
[01:15:38] then that's going to put them back probably in the middle of the park and who knows how things will
[01:15:41] end up. We are going to head to a break when we come back up next. Elevate this, as Dolphin.
[01:16:08] I think we have our first BO3 against WSVNM, and we went all three maps with them, which
[01:16:32] was already like, even though we lost, we lost 1-2, it's a good sign to go, you know,
[01:16:37] three maps with a team that just won two majors in a row. We had M80 and we beat them two one.
[01:16:42] That one's a barn burner but we kind of had like the mental advantage over them two since we had
[01:16:46] just beaten them in Atlanta. We both liquid and we beat them two one as well. Their team was
[01:16:50] like falling apart at the time you know it was kind of our game to lose like they were just
[01:16:54] fighting amongst each other and stuff they ended up making a huge change after that.
[01:16:57] And then on our final game like we were we were two and one at the time we were just
[01:17:01] one against two teams. Our final game against VP we were coming in super confident and that
[01:17:05] And that one, I think we lost 1-2 and on the final map we were down like 1-6 and we came
[01:17:10] back to like 8-7 I think.
[01:17:11] We nearly won that 1-2 but even though we went 2-2 we ended up going to the lower bracket
[01:17:15] I think because of like we were like fourth in the group.
[01:17:17] We ended up winning against Loss which felt amazing like beating a Brazilian team and
[01:17:21] then we ended up getting smashed by SSG very shortly after that.
[01:17:25] At the time I wasn't really surprised that we were playing in my first two events
[01:17:30] a major in an invitational because I kind of knew how good our team was just based on
[01:17:34] like how we were smashing everyone in practice, you know, after Atlanta as well. We knew we
[01:17:38] could beat some intentional teams who were scrimmage intentional teams and smashing them too.
[01:17:42] So for me it wasn't really a surprise until I kind of looked back at it like a few years later
[01:17:48] and I kind of counted like how many APEC players have even been to multiple SIs have been to,
[01:17:54] you know, every SIs since I started playing. Even like APEC players total that have gone
[01:17:59] to events. The list gets shorter and shorter the more filters you add. I kind of look back
[01:18:03] at it now and think that's quite impressive but at the time I was certain that we were
[01:18:08] one of the best teams in the world so I felt like yeah I wasn't surprised by it at all.
[01:18:12] I felt like we earned what we were doing. I think something that I had the most anticipation
[01:18:20] for was probably more recently like SI26 the most recent SI we played at. I was
[01:18:26] super excited to play because we had just came out of winning our regional finals
[01:18:30] where we smashed everyone like we had a full upper bracket. We knew our group a
[01:18:34] few weeks early and we knew our group kind of sucked too so I was super excited
[01:18:38] to play SI 26 as well. I think we went into that event with really good form.
[01:18:41] Our bootcamp was great as well just like the team environment as well we
[01:18:46] could kind of just tell that everything was closer perfect for us. Winning a
[01:18:51] trophy at regional finals I think subconsciously and a lot of like APEC
[01:18:55] players' minds, including myself. As you're getting into the scene, you may be watching pro league,
[01:19:00] you kind of know that just being in APAC just lowers your chances to ever win an international
[01:19:05] trophy by default, just because of how the region is. You kind of go into it knowing it's very
[01:19:12] unlikely that you're going to win a trophy. I mean no one from APACs ever won a trophy before.
[01:19:16] Being able to win something even at just the regional finals is something that I'm going to
[01:19:21] remember for the rest of my life. I could finish my career and never win another trophy, but
[01:19:25] I got one trophy and I put it on my preferred pitch everywhere, so it seemed water-liced.
[01:19:31] The people that showed they were happier than most was definitely nothing I must have done
[01:19:34] to speak easy. The other three of us tried to act cool and hide our emotions sometimes,
[01:19:38] but inside everyone was definitely super happy. There's nothing better than winning
[01:19:43] a physical trophy, and I hope to do that someday on a real international stage.
[01:19:48] What separates me from other players in APAC?
[01:19:50] I don't think I'm mechanically the most talented.
[01:19:52] I don't think I'm the best,
[01:19:55] the most genius, smartest player here at APAC.
[01:19:57] But I think that surrounding myself with other great players
[01:20:01] and learning from people that are better than me,
[01:20:04] having a good coach helps as well a lot
[01:20:06] in terms of your personal development
[01:20:08] inside and outside of the game.
[01:20:48] On the ground, ground, ground, and the baby can't write
[01:20:50] The wind is going to set you on fire
[01:20:52] You're starting to tell me to see the light
[01:20:54] Let's see the light, let's see the light
[01:20:56] Let's see the light, let's see the light
[01:20:58] Let's see the light, let's see the light, let's see the light
[01:21:02] I
[01:22:02] I'm in the pattern
[01:22:04] That's where I'm thin, I'm about the way I move
[01:22:09] Move to you
[01:22:15] It's really nice to make it matter
[01:22:18] Look at me differently from what I'm used to
[01:22:32] I feel so sorry
[01:22:42] I feel my soul is gone
[01:22:48] I feel so sorry
[01:22:52] I feel so sorry
[01:22:56] I feel so sorry
[01:23:02] The answer
[01:23:10] The answer
[01:23:17] The answer
[01:23:24] The answer
[01:24:32] So we return on this five by an evening. It's played a five. It's f5 that lost to fury and now it's time for elevate versus
[01:24:46] dolphin eSports for dolphin. It's been a rough stage only the one point gained up until today and now a difficult task in
[01:24:56] I don't know where you go with all this though, it's a night, Jake, there's something in the
[01:25:16] water.
[01:25:17] Yeah, this one does live on.
[01:25:18] Let's have a look across at this stacked team and I mean, so much history in the APL region.
[01:25:25] is, of course, just DCH on the sidelines of the moment, the rest of the team has found
[01:25:29] residents elsewhere and elevate specifically a long tenure in the APL region and excited
[01:25:38] to see if this particular iteration has what it takes. I mean, they're currently in third
[01:25:42] position on the standings, at least heading into the day. They'll be looking to, I suppose,
[01:25:47] reclaim that position, pending other results if needed. But yeah, we'll see how they
[01:25:52] go tonight, the kind of matchup that they should be getting all three points.
[01:25:55] Well, let's go to the Elevate roster as where it stands today and some of the statistics across the year it's again
[01:26:03] Kind of team I have high expectations on to be honest throughout
[01:26:07] The run into finals then finals itself
[01:26:10] They very much have the capabilities to go to the Osaka major a little slip up yesterday against
[01:26:15] Triple 9 Nelson Clubhouse went to overtime 8-7 loss against triple 9 which
[01:26:21] right at the dribble nine they play a really good brand of siege and needed to
[01:26:26] showcase that they did belong in this region after a pretty slow start to the
[01:26:30] stage triple line up until that game yesterday one seven lost away both three
[01:26:34] seven lost and five and a three seven lost to sharper so they took it right
[01:26:38] up to elevate got the win got the two points kept their stage alive but the
[01:26:42] elevate a little bit of a stumble which opened up the gates for the likes of
[01:26:47] fury at five day start they'll be hoping to close that gate today and
[01:26:50] get the three points which would put them on 10. They do though then still play
[01:26:54] Waveball on playday 6 and then F5 on playday 7. So you win this you get to 10
[01:27:01] points. That's still not safe. I mean it's still gonna be a rough run home. You
[01:27:05] lose this though against Alphen and you're looking like you might still have
[01:27:10] a chance to miss finals so they need to lock in tonight and bounce back. Yeah
[01:27:14] let's start look across at their opposition for tonight of course
[01:27:18] the side of Olfen Esports who yeah they've had a bit of a rough go of things at this level of play
[01:27:25] as he kind of alluded to before they head in with just a singular point and a ground differential
[01:27:31] of negative 16 so they struggled a little bit where I put a capture one point that they're
[01:27:36] coming at the hands of their playday three matchup of as I've known at the time LFT so
[01:27:43] So, not a bad result given what we have seen from that F5 roster since then, but obviously
[01:27:51] it's not going to be enough to be really challenging in terms of the top 4.
[01:27:56] I don't know if there was, I think about a 1% chance they could still make top 4.
[01:27:59] I don't know if that's now closed pending the early results tonight, but I mean, irrespective,
[01:28:03] they are either highly, highly unlikely to make the top 4.
[01:28:07] So for them it's about just trying to gain as much experience as they can in
[01:28:11] is best of ones for the remainder of the stage and I think Elevate will be a good challenge
[01:28:15] for them. And it's certainly not an impossible matchup, I think given what we saw with Elevate
[01:28:19] struggling last night against Triple 9 and not looking their sharpest, I probably smelled
[01:28:23] blood in the water for this particular game.
[01:28:25] Let's go to the map Vito's yesterday Elevate lost on Clubhouse. I don't know if they
[01:28:29] want to go for the repeat in a pretty important game. They need to get the job done against
[01:28:34] Dolphin. In fact, it was their first ban. Shallay, Labs? Shallay is not where
[01:28:39] We're going it was banned away by
[01:28:41] Elevate instead of thing to go tonight Haven labs dolphin will start on defense not a good map though for dolphin e sports
[01:28:47] Because sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but they've never won this map
[01:28:50] And back that's only been closed once which was against F5 in that eight seven loss which I mean look in the end now
[01:28:58] Considering the the rise from F5. I guess that's a little bit commendable
[01:29:02] But unfortunately they go into this as heavy underdogs for elevator three one record over the last few months
[01:29:09] And I think they'll be very very confident in heading to this map and looking to rebound from yesterday
[01:29:16] Yeah, I'm looking at the recent form
[01:29:18] kind of a lot of red in the form column for Dolphin
[01:29:22] That one point again courtesy of an overtime loss
[01:29:29] On this map I
[01:29:31] Don't know. I kind of have the feeling here that Dolphin have literally zero pressure nothing really to lose
[01:29:36] Elevate didn't look super sharp last night that carries across to today. I
[01:29:40] could see dolphin pulling off the result here and
[01:29:43] Maybe I just want to see the the fight for the top floor get even spicier
[01:29:50] What does that dolphin remind you of
[01:29:59] First thing that comes to your head when you look at that dog, I can't say what I was gonna say
[01:30:03] I'm just gonna let you answer your question.
[01:30:07] No, no, it's a person who doesn't remind you of Rob with the shape head and the beard.
[01:30:15] Yes.
[01:30:16] Yes.
[01:30:17] It's Rob the dolphin.
[01:30:20] Oh, you gotta have fun sometimes.
[01:30:26] Dolphin need to try and have some fun in this game because yeah, it's been a rough
[01:30:30] stage under the single point and maybe the hope is that they've learned their
[01:30:36] lessons here at Night Haven Labs and they can get a little bit more they do
[01:30:38] get to start on defense this will tell a lot of the detail about just rampage
[01:30:44] through and get at least three or more attacking around something that will be
[01:30:48] a shoe in. It's all Snake, Deimos, Kaye, Bandit will be the Bands. What do we need to do to have a world in which Kaye and Bandit is the
[01:31:00] very strong band-rate operators at the moment I don't even necessarily think it's
[01:31:06] them as operators in terms of their strength I think it's just the nature
[01:31:12] of the game in terms of wall denial etc what do you even do get them off the
[01:31:16] bed list I mean it is also map dependent right and even within those
[01:31:22] maps sometimes we like you think about like club and labs are probably the
[01:31:25] best of examples sometimes we do see teams deviate so it's I don't think
[01:31:29] I think it's too concerning.
[01:31:32] The only way you actually, I think would alleviate it is you just have sort of more operators
[01:31:37] that can make up for the loss in which case the bands would be less impactful, but then
[01:31:42] that kind of dilutes the bands, right?
[01:31:43] So I don't know.
[01:31:44] I think it's okay for now.
[01:31:45] It's not keeping me up at night, but I would be very concerned if it's keeping
[01:31:53] me up at night.
[01:31:55] I don't mind variety though, so it would be nice in an ideal world for it to be a little
[01:32:03] bit more diverse in terms of what those bands do look like.
[01:32:08] Shadow has an interesting position here, over towards lounge, has Nitro for the vert from
[01:32:15] below.
[01:32:17] Curious what his end goal in this round will be as Elevate begin to probe over towards
[01:32:24] warehouse. He's actually going to be quite fortunate here because Alibai
[01:32:32] haven't really bought an op that's going to be thinking about first floor.
[01:32:36] As Tolji has left the server, way too much time has passed in this round and
[01:32:45] it's gonna have to be play on for Alibai. Not a good way to start but it's the
[01:32:49] one site that Alibai may be in this half of its space to have a little bit
[01:32:53] on difficulty on to at least find the opening killer of this game of desist so
[01:32:59] no gaspabe store out that's important to me now it's a little bit of a stall and they can play this out as if it's a
[01:33:05] regular round oh tap from our pay on to killers and they're starting to open up
[01:33:12] this site with ease didn't even need tolgy and as that they pushed in
[01:33:18] Sunstrike finds the kill and it leaves it for Scatman and missed the
[01:33:21] punch 55 seconds are they ready for
[01:33:24] Chateau? Oh didn't quite get the kill
[01:33:26] on to Scatman how they know that he's
[01:33:27] made his way back over towards Rafters
[01:33:29] I wonder how they try and connect
[01:33:38] with Mr. Punch you get him in on this
[01:33:40] play could find timing Rafters and
[01:33:43] does Chateau left himself exposed
[01:33:46] It's on strike now on an island
[01:33:52] Not impossible, but not easy and lay of the smokes
[01:33:56] Scatman didn't opt to plant into the corner
[01:33:59] and Indian actually got the kill on Mr. Punch but they traded each other
[01:34:02] and the opening round will go the way of Alivay
[01:34:05] despite the disconnect from Tolji they'd still go and take the top floor
[01:34:09] good signs for Alivay, that was an opportunity for Dolphin
[01:34:13] for Dolphin they could not afford to pass up win the opening round on the top floor of labs
[01:34:19] in a five versus four start I just got completely shredded inside up a very strong towards rafters
[01:34:28] and I got that open kill and it was yeah that moment there what a tap on the killers then gets
[01:34:32] the swing under the Azami of tenno and while there was a little bit of a fight back from
[01:34:35] Chateau and Sunstrike there's mr punch made his way up in waltz warehouse the round was then
[01:34:42] done and luckily for us told you straight back in as if he never left and
[01:34:47] we get into the second round.
[01:34:57] And nice of him to join us without a delay or is this our welcome?
[01:35:05] Interested to see how... I'm looking across at that castle pretty
[01:35:11] tantalizing that to me is suggesting offsite play and positionally you can see
[01:35:17] yeah pretty heavy presence away from the objective here from Dolphin trying to
[01:35:20] start out top floor solace. They might even look to play the yokais on a bit of
[01:35:26] roam here as well which could be interesting. That can be really strong
[01:35:29] into the Monty especially if they can try and gang up on Scatman early in
[01:35:33] this round. All it takes is a burst and a cross and he can find himself in
[01:35:37] a bit of trouble so without the IQ Elevate could find themselves exposed
[01:35:41] here. Again, they depend on just how active Dolphin want to play. I'm looking across
[01:35:47] the kills flicking now and those yokas are on the objective for now. And so it
[01:35:54] does mean that Chateau, again similarly to the last round, is on a little bit of an
[01:35:59] island. Oh no, not again. I was after 30 seconds again, so. Yeah.
[01:36:07] If I speak, I will be in trouble.
[01:36:15] I told you he needs to reset his router or whatever is happening, I don't know, he needs to sort
[01:36:19] that out.
[01:36:20] Two rounds in a row, it's just, it's connecting.
[01:36:24] Luckily for Alivate, they seem to, don't need him at the moment.
[01:36:34] We're going through the round, we'll need this first kill though.
[01:36:48] That's a good cross from this defensive structure.
[01:36:58] It's on strike with a catch and Hiker with a trade needs to find the second critical.
[01:37:02] the grenade, great flash, clear, and then DOLF is on site, the fact he doesn't die there
[01:37:10] is important and then Tenno will go down to Arpo in basement, Shadow falls back down a
[01:37:15] site quickly because Arpo and Scatman hit site and now it's only Chateau left, as they
[01:37:21] find him and eliminate him, elevate one back to back 4v5s without Tull G, that's gotta
[01:37:27] to be demoralising for Dolphin eSports.
[01:37:30] Yeah, it would be Elevate playing on hard mode in the first two rounds, but still being
[01:37:41] able to find success probably reflective of the golf between these two teams and look
[01:37:46] if anything positive sign for Elevate that they aren't looking sluggish like they were
[01:37:49] a little bit yesterday, almost switched on looking like the dominant team here
[01:37:55] at the moment. Unfortunately this tech pause will be a little extended and so with that
[01:38:07] we are going to go to a break so that you guys don't have your ears bleeding and listening
[01:38:11] to us to yap at it. So we'll go to the break and when the server is back up and ready
[01:38:16] we'll join you for the rest of this best of one.
[01:41:25] I'm not sure what break hopefully told you's been able to sort out his disconnect issues.
[01:41:44] Luckily, it has not affected the team though whatsoever to no start for elevate both 4 v
[01:41:48] 5s told you disconnecting in both of the opening two rounds.
[01:41:52] Not that it's mattered.
[01:41:54] Played the ace in the opening round didn't matter I played the lion in the second round didn't matter
[01:42:00] Back on to the ace
[01:42:03] It's often needed
[01:42:05] Clicking to give pretty quickly here this game's getting away from them
[01:42:08] I made two attacking rounds already for alibi puts them in a perilous position and
[01:42:12] Completely honest they might need for straight on the defense and I'm just
[01:42:16] Struggling to imagine how that's going to formulate
[01:42:19] Just not being competitive so far
[01:42:22] They're storage controlled, they'll go through the rotation and try the tertiary side and see if that works for them.
[01:42:37] So what do you think the odds are that there's no disconnect this time? It's a straight 5v5 and then delve them in the round.
[01:42:44] Special charge.
[01:42:46] I wouldn't surprise me.
[01:42:48] See how it goes, touch your side of course as well here from Dope.
[01:42:52] Well I told you it would be the opening death.
[01:42:54] So it'll just play out the same as the opening two rounds.
[01:42:57] I don't want to put that bad juju on you, told you though, I apologize.
[01:43:01] I shouldn't say that.
[01:43:04] And he's playing the ram over wards IT.
[01:43:06] Oh my, oh my god!
[01:43:09] Wait, what?
[01:43:10] Well you must have been stuck or something.
[01:43:12] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He dc'd again. But he hadn't left the server.
[01:43:17] And again, after 30 seconds. So that's the precedent.
[01:43:22] It hasn't mattered. I mean, honestly, at this point, I think, told you just take a rest and I elevate 4v5 ballgame.
[01:43:28] I left him.
[01:43:33] Kind of unlock control over towards IT. There is a player though inside of that rafter's position.
[01:43:39] Tenno hasn't really moved an inch though and Elevator finding it tricky to get that read.
[01:43:48] They look to lurk and sort of scramble around the map to try and net a pick at least.
[01:43:54] Bring it initially back to a 4 vs 4 then they can worry about initiating plays as a team.
[01:43:59] Just bring him a boss this kill of the game.
[01:44:03] Mr. Punch King killing Tolchi.
[01:44:06] Oh my God, this is so high, Cal.
[01:44:08] He got the first nicely onto 10.
[01:44:10] I put couldn't quite transfer over to Chateau.
[01:44:13] Oh my God, up by the way, they're hitting shots right now.
[01:44:17] I think he's down inside of it.
[01:44:23] And Mr. Punch needs to get this kill.
[01:44:27] In the left and does convert with a triple impact on the Zofia and we've got a 2v2 55 seconds
[01:44:39] Surely Dolphin can't lose another 5v4
[01:44:45] So good Valk information up here for the defense when it comes to the
[01:44:50] Execute onsite, but it looks as if the attack privy to that
[01:44:54] The fuser though, up above. Killers up close. Shotgun 30 seconds for Elevate.
[01:45:02] They're looking for the kills here.
[01:45:04] They're pushing together. Oh, lovely play from Mr. Punch. Oh my God. Elevator just on it tonight.
[01:45:12] Well, four of them are...
[01:45:13] Three nothing in a 4v5 every single round for Elevate.
[01:45:23] He's literally done nothing this entire game.
[01:45:27] He may in all three of those rounds spawned and walked for like 10 seconds and done nothing
[01:45:33] else.
[01:45:34] So it has effectively been four men elevate have won three straight over Dolphin on the
[01:45:40] attack of labs.
[01:45:42] Now not only is this great for elevate, but I'm sorry to say, but this has got to
[01:45:48] be very demoralizing if you're Dolphin eSports.
[01:45:51] Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, it's one thing to get beaten down on a first rotation for every single round
[01:45:57] you to have
[01:45:59] Essentially being gifted the entry kill and then to lose has got to be
[01:46:03] Yeah, probably frustrating definitely sucks from their perspective
[01:46:10] Suddenly feel bad for them. We'll see if they can turn it up though look back in
[01:46:16] I told her his cam's on so I assume he is either in the lobby or he will be shortly so hopefully whatever the problem is it will be
[01:46:25] resolved
[01:46:28] I mean touch wood we haven't I mean I haven't seen a huge volume of issues this stage so
[01:46:36] Hopefully he's all good now
[01:46:38] nice, he's still laughing and smiling but I
[01:46:43] Guess you can when your team has won
[01:46:46] I mean, I was trying to hear if he feels bad.
[01:46:50] It was like, oh yeah.
[01:46:51] So his fault, he's inadvertently kind of letting the team down.
[01:46:54] Luckily the team is like, don't worry, we got you.
[01:46:58] I think just let him play.
[01:47:00] They don't need him.
[01:47:01] They don't need him anyway.
[01:47:05] We are going to have a technical time out
[01:47:07] to try and sort out the Tolji issues.
[01:47:16] What do you think about the sleeping salts, Jake?
[01:47:23] It's become more prominent, hasn't it?
[01:47:26] It's becoming a bit of a sub-meta here in the Asia region.
[01:47:30] At least within the last year, I feel like it went from, I didn't think I saw anyone
[01:47:34] ever use it, to now quite a lot of people are using it.
[01:47:39] construct also looks like he's in a hurricane with the fan on full setting
[01:47:49] yeah let's let's change up the halftime vibe check and we'll play some clutch or
[01:47:54] kick let's let's do that let's sit up and while we get told you all set up
[01:48:00] apologies for the delay everyone but we'll have some fun clutch or kick here
[01:48:05] an APL rules for this well the rule is it's classic what does it look like we
[01:48:15] got to get to the clutches and all that so this is all good I can't remember
[01:48:17] souls heart this was yes yeah 100% he wins this do you remember this no you
[01:48:26] remember this no I don't even casted it I don't know 16 seconds on the clock I
[01:48:32] I don't see Kit in hand.
[01:48:35] I believe this is a Crit J win.
[01:48:37] I'm gonna just say it.
[01:48:38] I'm gonna say Clutch.
[01:48:39] I'll say Clutch.
[01:48:42] You play now.
[01:48:44] I can't control this.
[01:48:46] Oh, it's gone.
[01:48:48] Oh.
[01:48:51] We might need to put Clutch or Kit back in the workshop.
[01:48:57] Have we got it now?
[01:48:58] Maybe we're running this off Toldjie's PC.
[01:49:00] I think Tolji is affected. Here we go, here we go. I think I remember this.
[01:49:07] I think we actually didn't cast this.
[01:49:11] Oh yeah, because he denies it from below with impact, no?
[01:49:15] Yeah, yeah, and then he sprays. Yeah, I remember this one.
[01:49:17] Yeah, so I remember this one. Catches the head.
[01:49:20] BANG! Yes!
[01:49:22] I had faith. I had faith. It's Crypt J. He wins this.
[01:49:25] All right, well that was enough of clutch. We keep apparently let's get back into the game
[01:49:30] We'll put that one back in the in the microwave
[01:49:36] All right, how long back in that now the next game segment we have is how long this told you lost
[01:49:42] In the server
[01:49:48] You give him 30 seconds a minute does he lost the whole round
[01:49:55] I don't know Jake Monty and Goyo are banned out we returned to top four
[01:50:07] Well, all right, let's refocus
[01:50:10] And the answer will be he will not I assume this is for him
[01:50:15] In crash again. Okay, but like we get into the point now. So this is clearly gone on long enough
[01:50:22] We can rehost this but
[01:50:25] We just can't spend the next two hours loading in, rehosting, loading in, rehosting, loading in, rehosting.
[01:50:31] So something's going to have to change.
[01:50:33] Let's speed up the clutch or kick one more time.
[01:50:37] We're going to run out of clips.
[01:50:39] I haven't done this at all this stage, so I mean I'm hoping we've got a good amount of clips in the bank.
[01:50:45] And we'll let the admins sort out the tollage issue.
[01:50:48] So this one we've already gone through. Here we go.
[01:50:50] D plus K, Kina trope.
[01:50:54] What have we got here, Niers?
[01:50:56] Has a nitrosol 6 second plank going down inside of Bunkz.
[01:51:00] I think I remember this, he wins this, I'm pretty sure.
[01:51:02] Is this a nitrosol denial into the 1v1?
[01:51:09] I can't quite remember how it plays out, but I think he wins it.
[01:51:12] I think he ends up swinging green here and he makes a play or something for memory.
[01:51:16] Yeah, I'm gonna say clutch. I'm gonna say clutch because as long as he gets the kill here on the Bunk's planter
[01:51:21] I just five seconds left in the round. I'm gonna say clutch
[01:51:25] All right. Yeah, I think he's clutches it
[01:51:30] Okay, then one oh
[01:51:32] Yeah, it was okay. He didn't push out grand like the foot he might have but it was a good clutch
[01:51:40] Right back we need to get like
[01:51:43] um really old clips like really that's what i was saying i think yeah i think that that would be
[01:51:49] the goal in future i'm gonna six targets and shycademy yes again this is just a little too
[01:51:56] too soon not that i remember this at all uh ryan one beat re on the attacks 45 seconds
[01:52:02] rani's low he is in sight do we remember this i'm gonna say kick on the uh meta of
[01:52:12] We've had two clutches
[01:52:14] So I'm gonna just say you're just chasing the numbers exactly. I feel like I remember this, but I
[01:52:22] Think it was kick I
[01:52:25] think
[01:52:31] Yeah, I don't think
[01:52:34] Actually, no, no they feed ones actually I think he does win this
[01:52:37] I think that's why we got three clutches in a row and I've been set up here. Yeah, they feed they feed they feed. Yeah
[01:52:43] Yeah, he means it
[01:52:52] Think I'm gonna look silly if I'm wrong
[01:52:58] Well, how do they lose it from here?
[01:53:01] Why is Ronnie playing behind tank? He gets out
[01:53:04] Yeah, okay
[01:53:08] Yeah, the wall bang
[01:53:17] Good old Nico
[01:53:19] Do we have any more in the pocket we do arcade e-sports and sci-cademy cake and one of the five
[01:53:27] On the attack in a minute left. I remember that you remember this one, right?
[01:53:31] isn't this the where he gets it down or 1v1 and then loses I'm gonna say kick
[01:53:39] it ends with a two-stack mezz 90 and you almost wins it but you got traded
[01:53:49] right at the end of the round pretty good attempt though I'm getting worried
[01:53:56] that we should be getting back into the game after this one but yeah this is a
[01:53:59] kick. Apologies for the scale I'll take if there's not one this one.
[01:54:02] Did he use his flash?
[01:54:04] He did.
[01:54:07] Yeah, it was into the warden glasses.
[01:54:09] Yeah, he gets the kill on the standing player, I'm pretty sure from memory.
[01:54:15] He gets a kill onto one of them.
[01:54:17] Yeah, he definitely kills one.
[01:54:19] Oh, maybe not.
[01:54:21] Oh, it's the prime player.
[01:54:24] Oh, he almost won. It was very, very close.
[01:54:26] Yeah, very close.
[01:54:28] Alright, well, that's a good effort from Kagan, so we did alright.
[01:54:36] And we'll see if Tolji can stay inside of the server.
[01:54:39] If it happens...
[01:54:40] Look, you get one re-host, I reckon, and if it happens again, it's like, well, you might
[01:54:45] have to just play the game out as four.
[01:54:48] Yeah, I mean, yeah, so he's DC'd again.
[01:54:51] This is turning into an issue that we'll have to leave with the Atmance.
[01:54:54] I think we're gonna head to a Vibe Check as Elevate.
[01:54:57] This is the strange predicament of it all, the 3-0 up having already won 4v5 in the opening 3 rounds.
[01:55:02] Clearly there's an ongoing issue with ToLG that's, I imagine PC slash game related, not internet related as we still got his camera, but it's an ongoing issue that seemingly is not just being resolved and we're going to have to dive into rule books and all of those things, but I'm going to leave that up to the smart people and I'm going to go vibe out.
[01:55:27] I
[01:55:44] Yeah
[01:55:48] New beginnings on the cusp not to hold to adjust all dogs new tricks remember I was just a pup something dirty in my cup
[01:55:57] Clean soul, good karma is the muscle I'm shooting in the cut
[01:56:00] I was stuck inside a rut Played the game, made bag group G
[01:56:04] Anything to get a buck, you won't find me in the club
[01:56:07] I'm in the lab, trying to sharpen up the sword Swinging blades at the scrubs
[01:56:11] Block like rugs to the light, getting bright
[01:56:13] Treat my wounds like these raps I don't really got a type on top
[01:56:17] Bullshit, all I needed was a mic
[01:56:20] Past the walk, it's all butter Got your bags and tape flight
[01:56:23] Don't worry, I saw him covered
[01:56:25] Live your life or you can't, our days are on number
[01:56:28] Rain can cross thunder, but the sun comes after
[01:56:31] Fair enough to disaster
[01:56:33] It's an 11th, I ain't lookin' back and focus on us
[01:56:36] In front of me, everybody days a number
[01:56:38] But I'm still here, luckily
[01:56:40] I know that guy got me so I'm in good company
[01:56:42] I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I
[01:56:53] So take it from me, I got some places I should take you to see
[01:56:56] You know it's easy when you ride with a cheat
[01:56:58] Light speed, moving fast through the city, trying to find me some peace
[01:57:01] I'll find me lived to be the guy that I was dying to be
[01:57:04] Still I got some trust issues, people live through their teeth
[01:57:07] The more I grew, the more they harden to crease
[01:57:09] Squad building, weak members get released
[01:57:11] If we tryna compete, slowin' pitches need relief
[01:57:13] Bro, we buildin' a team, everybody gotta niche
[01:57:17] I've been known to play mine to a T
[01:57:19] But it's time for me to lead
[01:57:20] Picking dirt right out the cleats
[01:57:22] Steak path, roadblocks in the streets, trying not to be on my feet
[01:57:25] Cause the devil never sleeps, so I'll sleep too
[01:57:28] And trying to break sage that I didn't have the keys to
[01:57:31] We all be victims of trauma, we ain't agree to
[01:57:33] But the sun comes after, starting up a new chapter
[01:57:37] Isn't it lovely, I ain't looking back and focus on what's in front of me
[01:57:41] Everybody dates your number, but I'm still here lovingly
[01:57:44] I know that guy got me so I ain't coming to me
[02:02:16] I hope you guys enjoyed the vibe check.
[02:02:19] We are heading back into the game and it has been stated to us from the admin team that
[02:02:26] if Tolji does disconnect again from here on out it will be similar to the first three rounds.
[02:02:33] That's the easiest way to explain it.
[02:02:34] It will play out in a similar fashion to the first three rounds.
[02:02:37] So in the first three rounds for those that maybe missed it, Tolji disconnected,
[02:02:40] but after that sort of a lot of the amount of time was after two and a half minutes.
[02:02:45] in round 4 he disconnected before the two and a half minutes so they called a
[02:02:49] rehost due to the ongoing nature of this particular issue it will not be afforded
[02:02:54] that potential rehost now if it were to happen say right the second it would
[02:02:59] then have to be played out 4v5 luckily this is the good news is that
[02:03:03] Elevate have won 4v5 for the first three rounds anyway it's back to business
[02:03:08] and Katology hopefully he can stay inside of the server for his sake
[02:03:15] That's a quick opening kill and it's a 4v5 in favour of Alivate for the person.
[02:03:22] I was gonna say back to regular program but that honestly doesn't make sense because it's
[02:03:27] incomplete contrast to the regular program that we have that up until this point.
[02:03:30] I'm also meant that the end round has been very predictable in this match so far.
[02:03:35] Alivate have been very dominant.
[02:03:38] Good fight back though in this round from Dolphin, RP, it's caught unfortunately though
[02:03:44] all the defense
[02:03:46] very likely to be brought back up to his feet
[02:03:50] and that singular as charged that remains could be uh...
[02:03:53] the utility
[02:03:54] and we have a mirror that one pop-con or
[02:03:57] some other pieces but
[02:03:58] all the potential elsewhere
[02:04:01] many of which is on the table here from the defense so it could pick up for
[02:04:04] elevate and they retain them an advantage
[02:04:10] oh no
[02:04:13] trade. That's going to be really tilting
[02:04:19] photography I shouldn't laugh like it
[02:04:21] genuinely I think for him
[02:04:22] individually it's probably impacting
[02:04:24] him more than even the team. Alivate
[02:04:25] clearly are just locked in and playing
[02:04:27] a really good brand of siege in this
[02:04:28] match. And oh ho ho and my Cal's so
[02:04:34] good. It's not gonna matter and they're
[02:04:37] quite fortunate that no offense but
[02:04:40] the team they're playing tonight is
[02:04:41] This is an exactly Wayvo gaming.
[02:04:43] Mr Punch, good triple, gets the down on Toteno.
[02:04:46] Three versus one.
[02:04:48] And on this top floor again,
[02:04:50] despite the ongoing tollage issues,
[02:04:52] that's no problem.
[02:04:54] Four, elevate.
[02:04:56] They're gonna go four, nil up.
[02:04:58] Unless Zist's can find himself
[02:05:00] in the future clutch or kick moment.
[02:05:03] Let's kick.
[02:05:11] Well this is turning into probably one of the more peculiar games that you and I have covered
[02:05:16] and we've been doing this for a very very long time.
[02:05:18] I've never done something like this before and the fact that it's the fact that they're
[02:05:21] winning as well.
[02:05:22] Yeah, that's what makes it even stranger.
[02:05:24] At this point, you've got to change your strategy and put Tolji on an operator that
[02:05:28] can have an impact inside of the first 30 seconds.
[02:05:31] He just played Lion and get like two skins out of him.
[02:05:35] I don't know, just something that he can do before he inadvertently crashes.
[02:05:39] So if Ontology, run into the building and just try and kill someone because you're going to crash.
[02:05:44] At this point, adapt to the situation that's been presented.
[02:05:48] He's just not even back in the server, so at this point it doesn't matter.
[02:05:50] But if he were in, I literally would just say to him, run forest, run, get in the building.
[02:05:57] If you kill someone, hallelujah, if not, it didn't matter anyway.
[02:06:01] Yeah, unfortunate for photography. I don't know. I mean, it has to be an issue, but like
[02:06:11] related to him specifically, maybe needs to do a reinstall or something. And I don't know,
[02:06:16] the glitch is kind of strange because it keeps happening at different times in the round.
[02:06:19] It's not like right when they load or at a specific time marker or anything. So I don't
[02:06:23] know what exactly is triggering it, but it's happened from any way.
[02:06:26] Hopefully then second into about a minute. So it's yeah, it's been a weird range.
[02:06:29] I don't know what it's causing us, but it is arranged that's also
[02:06:33] This is you're looting to like there is a range to it, which is strange
[02:06:35] But it's not like he's been able to even last a single round. So it's
[02:06:40] It's still a pretty short leash that he's getting inside of the server something's really strange going on and it's only affecting him so
[02:06:49] Luckily it's not affecting the team in the sense of that they play if anything that I feel like they're spurred on by having to
[02:06:55] put a bit more effort in tonight and
[02:06:58] high cal seven and two we of course had
[02:07:00] a rehost but just a punch six and two
[02:07:02] up a six and three scatman just one
[02:07:05] zero actually was his first kill in the
[02:07:10] fourth round so he's that's a
[02:07:11] legitimate even after the rehost in a
[02:07:16] struggle though for dolphin the best
[02:07:18] performance being some strike up close
[02:07:21] and I cal's done it again back to
[02:07:23] back opening kills and three opening
[02:07:25] kills now in the first five rounds from and high cowl and we've got a four versus four
[02:07:31] Yeah, we do is this is this the moment for dolphin
[02:07:37] We need to win the next two to remain competitive in this matchup irrespective of the whole will be five
[02:07:42] They give up six attacking rounds
[02:07:45] And all six rounds were four versus five. I'm sorry, but yeah, you've got some soul searching to do
[02:07:52] You're not really sorry though, right?
[02:07:54] well I'm not it doesn't affect me but I'm sorry for them yeah
[02:08:01] yeah this one does like continue some sharks on an island over to what
[02:08:05] storage mr. punch will probably fall after that utility I love the free kill
[02:08:10] machine yeah so well played they've been very good tonight the four players
[02:08:14] of elevate I will say that as maybe a small little asterisk I mean dolphin
[02:08:19] getting a an elevate 4 that's being affected by the toll g issues you know
[02:08:24] sometimes it can affect the team it can have that flow on effect where they
[02:08:28] maybe hang their heads and think oh what a rough nut they just locked in clean
[02:08:32] plays playing together really well good comms clearly right with that double
[02:08:37] push in towards storage and the clear 40 seconds left and high cowl another
[02:08:43] one. Our pay. Another one. Dolphin aren't even going to get a kill in this round.
[02:08:50] Flawless. 4 vs 5 Flawless, 5-0 down. This is insane what we're watching.
[02:08:55] I feel like this is, I don't know if it's too far stretched to say, but it almost feels like
[02:09:02] this is a bit of a once in a lifetime kind of thing. And Tadik Kalu's reaction probably says it all.
[02:09:09] He's like, what is going on?
[02:09:13] I will have an opportunity to talk to him when this game is over.
[02:09:19] And I think it's going to be an all time on because I can't even imagine from his perspective
[02:09:23] how stressful it would have been over the course of this match thinking, oh boy, our stage
[02:09:30] has been thrown upside down courtesy of this four versus five that keeps on happening.
[02:09:33] But seemingly they just continue to pull rounds out and it hasn't mattered.
[02:09:38] This is a very strange game. This is about as bizarre as it gets
[02:09:45] Could we see elevates 7 over to 4v5? I mean, yeah, this is I mean they're closer to it than not so
[02:09:56] And I calc on an absolute 10 9 and 2 4 0 on the entry a 203 EPS may be on the lock up MVP here for a second game of the night
[02:10:08] This is also the longest 5-0 you'll ever see.
[02:10:18] And kind of where this game was going, I thought maybe because of the ongoing issues,
[02:10:24] that if Dolphin could get even just two rounds in this half,
[02:10:27] that Alivate might struggle more on the defense,
[02:10:30] because naturally you've got one less defender, that's one less spot,
[02:10:34] there's an extra gap always available,
[02:10:36] So if the attack then gets that opening kill, you're gonna have a 5v3.
[02:10:41] That was where I felt like maybe Elevate would be more susceptible, but
[02:10:45] they're looking like they might go for 6-0 here on the attack and that won't be a problem on defense.
[02:10:50] And the thing is, by the way, if ToLG does get back in and stays in,
[02:10:55] no, you've got that that's on the card.
[02:10:57] So if somehow it's often maybe bring this game back,
[02:10:59] he will be allowed back in at some point as Oilers will get the opening kill by
[02:11:04] 3 and make it a 4v2 one for one trade and high kelp and chateau take each other out
[02:11:09] Down to just mr. Punch and scatman
[02:11:12] And I run a clinic hold you successfully reconnecting and staying in the game is less likely than elevate going on to win this 45
[02:11:20] I've never seen anyone needs to crash that frequently ever in this game, so I think he's down and out until he can
[02:11:26] Reformat his computer or whatever is going on
[02:11:29] So this right now we'll see if Scatman and Mr Punch can watch up to me for not impossible.
[02:11:34] I do want to add by the way just in case people are a little confused you are not
[02:11:38] allowed to start a match 4v5 but because this game started as a 5v5 it is allowed that's the
[02:11:44] all set. You cannot substitute mid-match hence the playing this out. This looks like it'll be
[02:11:56] finally Dolphin getting around. Mr. Punch half health. Scatman hasn't really been as involved in
[02:12:03] terms of the shooting department. It's largely been M.I. Cal. Mr. Punch does beat out Sunstrike to
[02:12:08] keep this somewhat winnable for elevate. That was an important kill. But a double swing from
[02:12:16] Control Hallway will be the demise of Mr. Punch even if he finds the kill. That would then
[02:12:20] leave it in a 1v2. Again I have to be pretty much flawless from here. Oh my goodness, there's
[02:12:28] no way. 35 seconds is still plenty of time and now they know that the two defenders kind
[02:12:35] of need to split the sights. So it's a one-storage one control. Ten-o. Have you got the nerves
[02:12:43] to steal here on this swing? Again, Scatman! No you don't! One left! Scatman puts them
[02:12:49] To bed? It's six?
[02:12:52] Nothing?
[02:12:53] That was a 3v5!
[02:13:00] Just throw it to the break. I mean this game's done. Told you it's not the easiest game of his life.
[02:13:19] I want to go in your arms, but I don't want them
[02:13:24] I don't want them, I want to take the city
[02:13:29] Just so I could make you feel all of it
[02:13:36] Everythin' time, I'm really hoping to make it
[02:13:43] I'm out in the clouds
[02:13:46] But I can see the world from up here
[02:13:50] From up here, from up here
[02:13:54] The world from up here, from up here
[02:13:58] From up here, can see the world from up here
[02:14:06] From up here
[02:14:13] I
[02:15:13] In Siege you have not and I'm just bewildered, 6-0 on the Attack of Labs, 4 vs 5, every single
[02:15:24] round.
[02:15:26] And in two of those rounds as well it was 5v3 in favour of Dolphin and they still couldn't
[02:15:32] win and Heikal went on a tear, 10-3, 4-0 entry, 100% cost.
[02:15:40] I don't know what else to say.
[02:15:42] I mean, genuinely, if you're Dolphin, they might be even more upset than Tolji.
[02:15:46] Tolji's just chilling.
[02:15:47] I didn't see him on the camera.
[02:15:49] At this point, he's like...
[02:15:51] At this point, they're just like, don't worry about it, mate.
[02:15:53] Just sit back and chill.
[02:15:56] He's been a good boy.
[02:15:57] He's been sitting there watching the whole time.
[02:15:59] He hasn't moved an inch.
[02:16:00] I don't think he's going off his chair.
[02:16:01] I think he's trying to figure out what's going wrong.
[02:16:04] Luckily, luckily he doesn't play tomorrow.
[02:16:06] He's got a week to sort it out.
[02:16:08] But, and even more luckily,
[02:16:09] Elevator going to get the three points and it won't matter.
[02:16:12] because I tell you if they had a loss this game told you would have felt really bad
[02:16:18] not he's full but like happening to him like you're naturally going to feel
[02:16:23] bad but it hasn't mattered means it's even worse with dolphin because I mean if
[02:16:29] you get 704 v5 I need to be careful with my words here but I don't know if
[02:16:36] you could keep the same five after the stage like that's a that's a team
[02:16:40] breaker like that's I don't know how you bounce back from that if you can all
[02:16:47] credit to you guys
[02:16:54] I'll see if they can pull off the most unexpected 7-0 probably in the history
[02:17:02] of this e-sport and I don't think that's too much of a stretch to say if
[02:17:05] somebody right now in chat can find a team winning a 7-0 game at any level
[02:17:10] level 4v5, shocked, so not on a tier 1 level. I mean it's rare enough that we see a 4v5
[02:17:17] played out with this video round so never mind that team they're going on to actually
[02:17:21] win, it's genuinely just unprecedented. We've only had one other 7 over over the
[02:17:29] course of this stage so far in Asia and that was sharper back in playday 2 over Desta
[02:17:35] on bank. See if Dolph could formulate a brown winning play though, looking to play for an
[02:17:43] XC heavy setup here, straight into site. Glad for coverage. That though is going to bring
[02:17:49] the solace and the warden into play.
[02:17:51] They're going to go for the rush. I mean they got the numbers. Nitrocell throwing
[02:17:59] Surely that gets shot out. No
[02:18:02] We'll get the plant down. It's a 4v3 in favor of elevate
[02:18:05] They get the first two kills, but the plant will be successful. No more nitrosols either
[02:18:12] To deal with the Monty. Oh, whoa, and I kill death from above
[02:18:17] The 7-0 now looks a little bit more likely as he is just
[02:18:22] And I kill
[02:18:24] If he plays like that for the remainder of this stage they might go to Osaka Sunstrike.
[02:18:29] They might go with a triple!
[02:18:31] Oh my goodness!
[02:18:33] Another twist to deny the 7-0.
[02:18:37] Mr. Punch gets off the kit, now needs to stay on it.
[02:18:40] Sunstrike!
[02:18:42] Oh my goodness, there's no way.
[02:18:44] He's shooting, he does.
[02:18:46] What is happening?
[02:18:47] They avoid the 7-0.
[02:18:49] What a 3k. If you're not watching Asia, you're missing out. This is a peak entertainment.
[02:19:07] You wouldn't get this at EMI, that's all I'm saying. Oh my god, this is an all-time
[02:19:12] This might be my favourite game of the season I've ever casted.
[02:19:15] I don't know, I don't know.
[02:19:16] This is just...
[02:19:17] I mean, I don't wish it'll be upon anyone, but if there was one way for it to end, as
[02:19:27] self-made to 7-0, would've genuinely been the cherry on top play.
[02:19:33] What a play from Enhoy, Cal.
[02:19:35] Oh my goodness.
[02:19:36] To be honest, how the hell have they even lost this round though?
[02:19:40] It's a 4v1!
[02:19:42] Oh, that's a...
[02:19:43] Great at the Sunstroke!
[02:19:44] Yeah, bloody hell!
[02:19:48] I wonder how close he was to killing himself though, yeah.
[02:19:51] So he was there...
[02:19:53] There was for the nade for some reason, when there's no time left.
[02:19:57] It's the shot right there, and then it's...
[02:19:59] Oh my god!
[02:20:00] It was like 0.2 of a second!
[02:20:02] 0.2 of a second!
[02:20:04] Wow.
[02:20:06] Is that the greatest worst clutch you've ever seen?
[02:20:10] yeah the 3k spray was great and he got the the kill on to and high cat of the
[02:20:17] 2k spray but they got the kill on to and high cal before it like I mean that was
[02:20:20] looking like an all-time play and then he almost bottled it but he didn't
[02:20:25] didn't guys and dolphin get at least one okay so I think I think it might have
[02:20:38] just been a prolonged one rather than a back to a regular program. Oh my. That's from
[02:20:49] Chateau. I can't believe there are four, three players on a red skip. I know you get
[02:20:58] to get a kill. The soundtrack only got four thanks to the clutch. Like this is, I can't,
[02:21:03] I can't believe this game went out.
[02:21:07] Couldn't even dream this.
[02:21:09] No, you couldn't.
[02:21:10] Yeah, you couldn't.
[02:21:13] You put it all out on the table.
[02:21:15] I put it into a script and someone would reject it.
[02:21:17] It's just like, well, that's not pretty possible, is it?
[02:21:20] You should make it clear.
[02:21:21] I'm not laughing at Dolphin or Toji or anything like that.
[02:21:24] I'm just laughing at the whole situation because it's so absurd.
[02:21:28] You should definitely say this.
[02:21:33] Elevate will retain a bit of luck presence of Ambrone presence and Highcarb
[02:21:38] Given the license to Frank. He's top floor
[02:21:41] Does have line of sight and information on to Tenno down below on the Monty
[02:21:48] You'll see what he can do from here
[02:21:51] Nobody nearby in the attack just yet. So he's pretty chill although repel exterior Klon means that
[02:21:58] Perhaps dolphin have a read and you're gonna try and isolate this
[02:22:03] We fight
[02:22:06] No
[02:22:07] What oh he's so good?
[02:22:10] What and I cow?
[02:22:13] I'll tell you what for elevate this game might just spur them on for a big run to close out this stage
[02:22:21] I mean this is
[02:22:24] Rotary building
[02:22:26] Ballas it should have been seven zero if it wasn't for a Sun strike power play
[02:22:32] elevate four versus five had beaten Dolphin 7-1 four versus five every single
[02:22:41] round in pro league unbelievable we have never seen anything like that before we
[02:22:49] have never seen anything like that before and I honestly don't think we ever
[02:22:52] will in our lifetimes that was a generational game both from in high
[02:22:55] column the team but the circumstances surrounding it for all intents and
[02:23:00] purposes. Basically a 7-0, great effort from Sunshake, you ever clutch up just that one round.
[02:23:05] That's Dolphin Season officially over and elevates. Well, they've added three points to their tally.
[02:23:11] You cannot argue that the entertainment level in Asia is not peak for Siege. Or in A-Pack
[02:23:18] in general. Like, it's just number one. Like, it's not even close. Is it the greatest Siege?
[02:23:24] But it is the most entertaining 16 and 4 from Enhye Cal 208 EPS 4 first kills the MVP of
[02:23:33] this game locking in for the MVP of the night to be honest in a 4 versus 5 tolgy.
[02:23:38] The only reason why he's 0-1 by the way was because of the team kill in the fourth round.
[02:23:44] He technically was 0-0 for that game.
[02:23:48] It was the only player not to die in this game so that's pretty impressive.
[02:23:52] If it wasn't for the 10 kill, let's go to our interview with callie the coach of elevate callie
[02:23:58] We've both been in this game for a very very long time. None of us have ever seen a game like that before
[02:24:06] Talk us through
[02:24:08] Firstly, if you have any insight to the issue of told you and but then also how the team
[02:24:14] Responded to that because clearly inside of the server. They almost look
[02:24:18] galvanized and invigorated and just wanted to showcase they could still do it 4v5 and they did
[02:24:25] Yeah, so
[02:24:27] So to be honest, we actually don't know what the issue is told you PC kept crashing
[02:24:32] Rainbow six and then the the last time you've managed to get in the lobby and then the game kicked him and he couldn't reconnect by that time
[02:24:39] We've used up our
[02:24:42] So that was gone. So we just said, you know screw it will play the 4v5
[02:24:46] But no, the guys I can't lie, it was the second round that it seemed like it was kind of mental
[02:24:54] was going, but we just kept winning and that was the thing that us winning on a 4v5, taking
[02:25:01] them 6-0, that was the real like, oh my gosh, I actually, like, no offense to the building,
[02:25:08] but like, we obviously do need him, but we didn't need him for that game.
[02:25:13] So, um, the, the one thing that we did change though was normally app a plays are like entry
[02:25:20] fragging roles.
[02:25:21] Uh, we just said to him, how about you take with a hard reach and all the roles that
[02:25:27] told you plays, we'll just do a mid role swap in the game, uh, and see what happens.
[02:25:32] Of course, it's all what happens, right?
[02:25:35] Uh, yeah, we did.
[02:25:37] That was insane.
[02:25:38] Insane as we're trying to put words to that match one round in particular though
[02:25:42] That will have a look at now was the Sunstrike clutch against you guys
[02:25:45] We thought that you'd be able to get the 7-0
[02:25:48] Then this happened. I don't know if you know but Sunstrike almost actually needed himself and and failed the clutch right at the end here
[02:25:56] When you were watching this what was going through your mind?
[02:25:59] So actually I don't hear I don't see any of the game from my players PV
[02:26:04] All I have to go off
[02:26:06] during the games is actually audio. So all my all the stuff I say is just from what I heard them talking about
[02:26:13] but that round I
[02:26:16] Was a little bit shocked basically the whole aim of today
[02:26:20] That we really focused on for what we needed to fix up was our team work
[02:26:25] And I went from what a free V3 V2 free V1
[02:26:29] Is that one day one?
[02:26:31] So it was a little bit rough, but
[02:26:33] the the made we had a pretty good laugh at. Um, so like it didn't do anything to our mental
[02:26:40] is us losing that round. We just took it with a pinch of salt and said, Hey, we're playing
[02:26:44] with 45, uh, like it is what it is. And we had a good chuck of the guy nearly made
[02:26:50] it himself. We lost the run due to that nearly. Uh, call it is it fair for me to
[02:26:56] say that this game is like a fork in the road where the mental could have dropped.
[02:27:02] lost this game threats and
[02:27:07] then miss out on top four, but
[02:27:08] you go down the other path. The
[02:27:10] team ends up winning its happy
[02:27:12] days and maybe that might be a
[02:27:14] sparing moment or a really good
[02:27:16] run through the end of group
[02:27:18] stage into finals and a good
[02:27:20] chance at the soccer because I
[02:27:22] imagine spirits would be higher
[02:27:24] than ever after tonight.
[02:27:26] Oh yeah, 100% I think it's a
[02:27:28] it's a good analogy for it to
[02:27:30] If the mental went today, I think we would have struggled for next week, not just mentally,
[02:27:37] but also just mentally, for motivation, even just in practice, every single day I think
[02:27:44] would have been affected by it, but no, today it was a real motivation together and I think
[02:27:51] we're going to be on quite a high and approach with these games with a definitely more happy,
[02:27:56] more motivated experience. I think real fork in the road though, if you don't mind me straying a
[02:28:03] little bit, was yesterday our loss against what used to be our academy. That was a really big
[02:28:10] wake-up call to the lads. We realised that actually we were just kind of posting and we weren't
[02:28:16] thinking as much and kind of got complacent in what we were doing and then that we just got
[02:28:21] it's sloppy. And so today we were going to make a statement that, you know, that wasn't
[02:28:27] us. And I think playing a full V five kind of did make that statement. So well, I think
[02:28:34] that moving forward for the rest of the stage, end of group stage finals, if you get there,
[02:28:39] which now looks a lot more likely with the three points today, it's going to be a lot
[02:28:43] of fun to watch and see how you guys continue to perform.
[02:28:46] Big congratulations to the team. Honestly, pass on a message if you can to the boys
[02:28:50] of how impressive that was because people will look to the opponent. I personally don't, I think,
[02:28:56] any 4v5. And to do it 7-1, majority of it attack on labs is an all-time effort. So hopefully,
[02:29:04] the boys are proud of themselves and also hopefully, Paul G. can fix these issues.
[02:29:08] And best of luck next week, Kully. Thank you very much. Y'all are fast on the message, guys.
[02:29:14] Thank you very much.
[02:29:14] to the very last round. And
[02:29:24] could have been. Maybe should
[02:29:26] have been seven zero and
[02:29:28] Hike was exceptional. Daystar
[02:29:30] versus triple nine will be up
[02:29:32] next. Following that we still
[02:29:34] have what would have been
[02:29:36] match of the day. No longer
[02:29:38] possible. Sharper Esports and
[02:29:42] sport and way boat. Asia has been providing us entertainment for many years now because
[02:29:48] and somehow it finds ways to top it. I genuinely think that might be the greatest best of one
[02:29:56] that we've ever casted. I want to be one of the greatest of all time overall just in terms of the
[02:30:00] sheer absurdity of the storyline for that game. So congratulations to elevate and it would be such
[02:30:05] a strange way for them to ramp up heading into the end of the stage in the finals. We'll see
[02:30:09] see how much of an impact it ends up ultimately having.
[02:30:39] I would be happy with a major but in saying that if I won the very next major I'd still
[02:31:05] want to keep going and win more trophies.
[02:31:07] I wouldn't force myself to retire unless I win something big, because I think that the
[02:31:10] people that I'm teaming with now and myself as a player, I think that if anyone can do
[02:31:15] it from APAC, I think we have the potential to.
[02:31:18] I'm 21 now, and when I think about my future, I want to be a world champion in Siege.
[02:31:23] I think that careers in eSports don't last very long.
[02:31:26] You know, a lot of people retire before they even hit the prime age of their life.
[02:31:30] You know, a lot of people retire before they're even 25, before they're even 23.
[02:31:34] 21 now I think that I saw a few good years left in me
[02:31:38] I haven't even thought about retirement once for me at the moment
[02:31:41] I want to go as long as I physically can you know if the accolades and trophies come with it then I'd be happy too
[02:31:47] I think that after I finish my time playing and I physically cannot play anymore
[02:31:52] I would either want to try my hand at coaching
[02:31:54] I think that's something that I'm not sure if I'd be good at but I did have a passion for like teaching other people
[02:32:00] what I know and instilling a system that I would want to play in either that or
[02:32:06] get on the line of like some sort of content creation mostly staying within
[02:32:09] the gaming space and probably within seed as well because that's where you know
[02:32:14] I have my community I have the following for me there's a few things I can
[02:32:17] content creation I can kind of still scratch my competitive itch whether it
[02:32:22] be like co-streaming games or grinding ranked I started from grinding
[02:32:27] ranked at the top of the leaderboards. Content creation for me that's almost the
[02:32:30] same. It's like going back to my roots. I really enjoy the community to get out of
[02:32:34] content creation. I was streaming for probably a year and a half in the middle
[02:32:38] of like the bleed era and I built up a really nice community of like people and
[02:32:42] I haven't streamed in like a year. I still have that community. They still talk
[02:32:46] and my discord and my Twitter community and stuff like that. So building a
[02:32:50] community of people that can support me and support each other, talk to
[02:32:55] each other. I think that's definitely an awesome part of content creation. I like the idea of
[02:33:00] being a celebrity basically. The first time I signed an autograph was in DreamHack Japan
[02:33:06] in 2023. I had like 200 followers on Twitter or something so I was nowhere near like a
[02:33:11] celebrity status but I remember like a fan or something probably someone I smashed and
[02:33:16] ranked at some point. They came up to me and asked for an autograph and I had the
[02:33:19] biggest smile on my face but I was trying to hold it down so I looked like an idiot.
[02:33:24] I was like half smiling and half trying to be serious.
[02:33:26] Someone got a photo of it as well, one of the photographers,
[02:33:28] and I saved that photo and I look back at it sometimes.
[02:33:31] It just brings me to a bigger smile.
[02:33:33] The spotlight is definitely somewhere I like to be.
[02:33:36] My girlfriend says I'm a narcissist.
[02:33:38] I don't really know what that means,
[02:33:40] but I like being the star of the show.
[02:33:43] My girlfriends helped me in many ways,
[02:33:45] like emotionally, financially as well.
[02:33:48] Like I said, you know, when I first started playing,
[02:33:52] I wasn't really making much money.
[02:33:53] So she was helping me heaps on that end.
[02:33:56] She would even help me with ideas for content creation
[02:33:59] and stuff like that.
[02:34:00] I always talk to her about everything related to my job.
[02:34:03] So she helps me make important decisions
[02:34:05] or just helps me think and be a calm presence in my life.
[02:34:10] So I owe a lot to her in terms of where I am now.
[02:34:13] She's a big part of my life.
[02:34:14] Having a support network of friends, family, fans,
[02:34:20] it's having people to rely on and fall back on.
[02:34:23] It puts me in a calm state of mind so that when I'm working, when I'm playing at events,
[02:34:28] stuff like that, I'm completely focused on the game because I know that if anything goes
[02:34:33] wrong I have people to talk to and I have people I can rely on which is the most important
[02:34:38] thing for me.
[02:35:23] Let's give it life! Let's give it life!
[02:38:53] Welcome back to peak entertainment ladies and gentlemen playday five of Asia is turning
[02:39:18] into an all-time playday and we're not done. Two more games to go tonight.
[02:39:22] Daystar, triple line up next. Must win game for Daystar to have any kind of chance to make finals.
[02:39:29] And then later, after this next game, Sharpa versus Weber.
[02:39:33] The two undefeated teams with the same round differential. That awaits, but for now, all eyes turn to Daystar in this match.
[02:39:40] And that's not to be disrespectful to triple nine.
[02:39:43] and we'll in fact look at them first and talk about them, but between the two teams it stays so that still have a chance to make top four.
[02:39:50] Yeah, absolutely, but Chipadine can disrupt. I think they'll still want to go into this matchup to prove a point.
[02:39:57] It does seem relatively likely that they won't finish in last position, of course though that is pending other results and of course how the rest of their stage in particular does pan out.
[02:40:07] So, they'll be wanting to fight hard in this matchup. They only just trailed A-star in the standing by a singular point.
[02:40:13] They could walk away actually ahead of them in the standing, so whilst they are run towards finals, very unlikely.
[02:40:20] Why not go out, give it your all. Clearly, A-star not in the best of form.
[02:40:24] So, I think triple nine, they have some hard hitting players on this team who in their moment can be very challenging to contest, to kill, isolate.
[02:40:32] And so, I think they just need to go in, worry what they've got at it.
[02:40:35] Again, we've seen them at a tier two level really be able to sort of rush around play very aggressive and keep the opposing team on their toes
[02:40:42] And if they start firing if their comms aren't you know cup point that kind of place. I was gonna work really well
[02:40:47] So I actually have some faith that they'll be able to get a result tonight
[02:40:51] Well, they start need the result tonight as it's been a rough stage really rough stage
[02:40:57] They opened their account on playday one in normal fashion 73 over at five
[02:41:02] I don't think anyone had any expectation of what was to follow in terms of the descent and 0-7 sharp
[02:41:07] But 1-7 to elevate so in those games which clearly elevating sharper of good teams
[02:41:13] Previously though you think about started this year and the blast you those are the games that they start were winning
[02:41:19] They were the better of the rest of the region except for waybo
[02:41:22] Then they followed it up and lost to period yesterday 7-3
[02:41:26] pretty much confirming that they're in a downward spiral and this is now a last
[02:41:31] hope hurrah win against triple nine win against dolphin on playday six which I
[02:41:37] think they will manage after what we just saw and then they set themselves up
[02:41:41] for probably still a must win game against Waybo which wouldn't be totally
[02:41:46] past them if they get back to their very best I just don't know if they
[02:41:50] have that in them and certainly I don't think Waybo would allow them to
[02:41:54] get that result which would then leave them stranded on potentially nine points provided they get the result tonight.
[02:42:00] We'll head into the Vitos for this best of one.
[02:42:03] It must win from here on out for Daystar and it starts here against Triple 9.
[02:42:07] Let's see where we're heading to. It's either Border or Labs.
[02:42:12] It's Border. I feel like I've not done Border in a very long time.
[02:42:16] I'm excited for this game. Starting on the defense will be Triple 9 and we'll see if Daystar can respond on this map.
[02:42:23] So far throughout the stage they've played Chalet yesterday, Clubhouse before that, Bank and then Cafe, not many of those working out.
[02:42:31] Let's see what board has got in store for us and for Daystar as we head in triple nine, can they play spoil?
[02:42:37] Yeah, this is a massive match for Daystar as a squad, as an organisation, of course they're eyeing off three international events in a row
[02:42:45] if they are to make it to a Saka and they are very much holding on to the cliff at the
[02:42:51] moment. A loss here would be absolutely disastrous. I am a little surprised that they've elected
[02:42:56] to go to Border over Labs. Again, they may be trying to play a little bit more of a fluid
[02:43:01] map although Border at the highest level is really highly structured. And I think
[02:43:06] triple nine are going to be the style of team that are looking to disrupt that. And
[02:43:10] I think that defensively they're going to be very aggressive. They'll want to
[02:43:14] disrupt a star, hit them on us. And if they start have issues in
[02:43:17] containing them early here, I'll be worried for them. So I
[02:43:21] think it's about setting the tone early here, if your day
[02:43:24] start and making sure that, you know, your dotting eyes,
[02:43:27] crossing teas, no shortcuts, try and put aside what's
[02:43:31] happened up to this point, because we know what they're
[02:43:33] very best, like, this is the kind of matchup we're used
[02:43:36] gone by, it'd be a 100% 99% kind of in their favor. But
[02:43:42] For whatever reason in this current meta with this current iteration. It's just not quite being up to that same level. So
[02:43:49] Let's see what they start we see tonight
[02:43:52] Hopefully for them. It's the better side. Oh, Azuki's dropped the the antenna
[02:43:58] Unicorn horn. I was looking at the socials last night at last night shout out to the socials team by the way
[02:44:05] They did they do a fantastic job on Twitter if you're not following then you should because they put out some bangers
[02:44:09] They they kind of stitched up a zuki yesterday. I don't know if you saw it. Did you see it?
[02:44:13] I had any chance cause no, I didn't I
[02:44:17] Mean production can do what they want
[02:44:19] But if they want to show that picture of a unicorn a zuki feel free and it's theirs. I can do what they want
[02:44:24] But it was hilarious
[02:44:26] He has dropped the antenna though and look for day star. It's not all fun and games
[02:44:31] They need to lock in here and they need to put together a good performance
[02:44:34] This needs to be the kind of game where it's not so much scrape over the line against triple nine
[02:44:38] It needs to be domination they need to find that that mojo they need to get their mojo back and I
[02:44:43] Don't know what that's gonna look like. I think actually maybe starting on the attack of border might be the best way to do it
[02:44:48] Maybe not on this side. Armory archives. I think triple nine should be able to get off to a good stop
[02:44:53] But ultimately today's star I think being on the attack and the onus is on them
[02:44:58] They've got to push into the building. They're gonna take gunfights
[02:45:00] I think that might be the best way to try and reinvigorate this team
[02:45:03] Which has just been in all sorts of problems ever since they won
[02:45:08] Bans for the first half, Yinglai is into Wamai Azami, we're just seeing that we're going to see the visual here in the up-and-round from the dude.
[02:45:19] And we'll see what kind of influence he has there, but have Shotgun of range, he could try and cut down some of the entry over towards security at break room.
[02:45:28] be susceptible depending how they start with the play, but they're going to be pretty traditional
[02:45:34] or pretty expected route here on board with the top of the start.
[02:45:40] When I'm with an extension through all first meekly line on site, I do wonder if they'll
[02:45:45] rotate the clashback over here, so what is still situated outside on that security
[02:45:50] bulk position.
[02:45:51] He needs to be careful of the utilitarian potential that they start have though, especially
[02:45:55] is the main part.
[02:46:02] People mind it, they looked good yesterday when they against Alivay
[02:46:07] and you know, Cooley even kind of said it in the interview too that they were very disappointed to lose to the Accent
[02:46:12] I love it, they played well and if they bring that same level today, it's gonna be a tough game today style
[02:46:19] and already the damage onto Yow trying to push in top these stairs
[02:46:23] That was not ideal. Not the worst thing we've seen tonight.
[02:46:30] Oh, so what? Take and low. Force back a little bit. There's a second impact right this time
[02:46:36] if he does get the opening kill on to Souffle. How gets the immediate trade though?
[02:46:42] Or versus three, as Peake is able to find Staxter, Juve on the vigil, slips out of
[02:46:48] CCTV and over towards fountain does escape clutches of Daystar
[02:46:53] And they're starting to actually get some good groundwork here on this top floor still a minute left in the round too
[02:46:58] So they've got a lot to play with in terms of time for the attack. I
[02:47:03] Think seal has an inkling on this position fountain nice shot
[02:47:09] Pash still standing the ball on HP
[02:47:11] He should be left on an island but J-Dog's doing some good work at Archives, 40 seconds
[02:47:16] for Daystar.
[02:47:17] He was very, very good yesterday but taken even lower.
[02:47:20] They deal with the clash.
[02:47:22] J-Dog got the trade, a little delayed but then outnumbered as Daystar will get the
[02:47:27] opening round here on Armory and Archives.
[02:47:29] There's only one round though.
[02:47:33] Yeah it is but I think again for this game especially given the trajectory of them
[02:47:38] this stage they need as best of a star as possible did you say that I did not I
[02:47:48] did not I was looking at the stats I was at the unicorn was it Jake I went to
[02:47:54] go look at my STP bring it back up bring it back up no who's on the sticks bring
[02:47:58] it back up there you go ah there it is that is the most majestic beautiful
[02:48:07] looking creature I've ever seen whoever cooked that up well done don't know who
[02:48:14] actually does the socials I'm terrible with roles I know names of bases but
[02:48:21] roles at Rex I'm lost it was camp all in camp even up downstairs up next and
[02:48:35] it's not workshop so this is gonna be very intriguing customs the side of choice
[02:48:40] here for triple nine the unicorn site if you would very rarely seen context you
[02:48:49] have seen 1,120 rounds of border this year globally 32 have taken place on
[02:48:57] this side pretty crazy though it actually has a 78 percent offensive
[02:49:03] win rate. There's only two plants, neither of which were converted, so this has some
[02:49:09] crazy numbers going for it. I can back you up here with some extra stats, we can
[02:49:12] start out. This stage played six times globally, 83% offensive win rate, one
[02:49:19] plant. So I mean that's two different sets of data that does actually
[02:49:24] suggest that maybe custom supply isn't particularly awful, but probably one of
[02:49:31] those sites where the teams that play it are usually the ones that are prepared to play it.
[02:49:36] Shopper 5 played it quite a lot and I think they've won it every time.
[02:49:42] They're quite a few teams and I think they're a very good boarder.
[02:49:52] I've played this site though in the last five years.
[02:49:55] I mean I'm not even talking to fishes I'm talking ever they even scrim this I
[02:50:02] surely it's not that fun to be pretty heads up reliance here and I don't know
[02:50:09] if they still have that in them at the moment but yeah I was fine the entry so
[02:50:12] that's good for him I think you're in response he's getting a little bit
[02:50:16] pressured too but he's dealing with it well we'll push out from J-dog this
[02:50:20] jube it does win the battle against seal so no no no I've actually got the
[02:50:25] extra number up now, after that little exchange on the top floor and around the map.
[02:50:33] I mean I like the way the days start kind of played this round anyway, I feel like
[02:50:36] too often we see custom supply teams on the attack who maybe don't really want to play
[02:50:41] the site properly, just go for a fast hit and it just doesn't work. J-Dog gets through to
[02:50:46] suit Flay and and triple nine go to this site for a reason, we'll add that one to the
[02:50:50] the defensive win rate statistic as triple nine will get themselves on the
[02:50:54] board here for border. I think that yeah that site and the way they played it
[02:50:59] really suits their strengths in being able to take a lot of those isolated
[02:51:02] fights they're catching day start in positions where they haven't established
[02:51:07] the trade I think that's probably reflective of the inexperience that
[02:51:10] they have in attacking this it was a lot of solo play around the map and
[02:51:15] And that's where triple nine and can and do thrive.
[02:51:18] So, yeah, look, I'm not going to take that site into consideration too much in the assessment
[02:51:27] of the match so far.
[02:51:28] It's the very early days, but there's every order in which they return there in the second
[02:51:32] rotation still in this first half and if they're as successful as they were then
[02:51:38] on the second attempt, that's at least two rounds and that's really strong.
[02:51:42] So I guess it is a little concerning.
[02:51:44] That's the thing on Bordor, I think what can make you a really, really good defensive team
[02:51:48] on Bordor is having the two sites.
[02:51:49] So usually most will rely on armour in archives and then it gets interesting outside of that.
[02:51:55] But if you can find at least one of the other sites that you're comfortable on and you
[02:51:59] can feel like you can lock that down, then you can turn this into a very, very
[02:52:04] good map.
[02:52:08] with Armory Archives is because it's the go-to staple site for most teams it
[02:52:12] actually ends up being a 50-50 site, but the ones who know how to play it well it
[02:52:17] is pretty strong defensively and border funneling up globally this stage actually
[02:52:24] sits slightly defended sided but I think it's not really been played
[02:52:29] actually all that often in APL this stage I had not really seen it and in
[02:52:35] In the APAC region it usually tends to lean more to the attack.
[02:52:44] But I still remember at eSports World Cup when we did Shopify Rebellion and CAG, CAG
[02:52:49] destroyed SR on the first and the third map, but on this map the border Shopify just
[02:52:53] We're insane.
[02:53:06] Paleo goes out. Counter-player is on offer courtesy of Neat.
[02:53:12] Has a two-tool focus at the moment from Daystar, Shockdrone up for Souffle.
[02:53:20] I'm not sure if he's able to capture much.
[02:53:23] Dangerous cross that they start looking to try and break here.
[02:53:28] We break itself in security.
[02:53:30] Unintentional.
[02:53:31] This looks pretty intentional, though, from seal.
[02:53:37] Very small opportunity, doesn't quite land, but Souffle makes the most of his and that
[02:53:40] takes the chanker out of play.
[02:53:41] Yeah, I mean that's a big kill on to the chanker.
[02:53:43] Oh my goodness, Gal, though, you've got to be more careful.
[02:53:47] I mean, you just spotted a tube inside a break, so top waiting is volatile.
[02:53:50] can't be walking into a beast like that and seal boat finds a hatch on angle that
[02:53:56] you didn't know existed Stax the falls to Peeke and he's found two it's only
[02:54:00] J-dog he goes down quickly and they start respond on vent workshop which we
[02:54:05] never saw no we didn't and look it was a bit rough around the edges if they
[02:54:14] played that round like that against a top four team they're in strife but
[02:54:19] They got away with it here.
[02:54:21] And look, you can only play the opposition that's presented.
[02:54:23] And with that, they'll now take the lead in this matchup once again.
[02:54:28] Additional bans to be the Nomad and the Clash,
[02:54:30] they'll somewhat cancel one another out.
[02:54:37] Kippenine may have been looking to play more Clash without the Nomad in play,
[02:54:40] but they have denied that opportunity.
[02:54:43] Look back at that third round.
[02:54:44] There was a pick from Souffle down below.
[02:54:45] good job in catching Miku off guard. Pretty poor call there on to Yao, or he didn't hear the call.
[02:54:52] There was literally an engagement just before that info break yet he went in blind. Despite that
[02:54:57] though they start able to pick apart the rest of the defense. Get the win.
[02:55:01] Good, but I respond by heading us to bathroom towers.
[02:55:08] Yeah, four sites.
[02:55:20] It's good to see the experimentation, and for triple nine, bathroom towers offers a,
[02:55:27] you know, a completely different playground now for them if they can win this, then
[02:55:30] back through the rotation and you kind of then go back clearly to the sites where you found success
[02:55:37] give them a really good kind of position to go through them in rounds five and six most likely
[02:55:42] to focus then towards custom supply and then maybe you look to try and fix up armor in archives
[02:55:49] for the final round gives them flexibility i need to win this one though to stop in a
[02:55:56] really good spot. You win this round two on the defense going into the next two rounds
[02:56:03] and keeps them in that good spot but you lose this and then suddenly some worrying sign starts
[02:56:07] to open up and certainly the most worrying is probably two rounds in a row now days don't
[02:56:11] get that opening kill halfway through the round and then they flow on nicely. You just got to try
[02:56:16] and keep them a little bit more available. Wouldn't mind 10-9-9 just be doing this a little bit
[02:56:21] more of this denial and making it tricky to get into the building. I think they start really
[02:56:27] worked for some of these entries. Now that's better. Good fallback, some stack star, kept himself
[02:56:32] covered so that he wasn't going to get traded from this break position. Now it's another solo swing,
[02:56:37] yeah, he's struggling. Suflate does get rid of the Dachanka. The Dachankas just clearly
[02:56:43] not work for triple nine. That thing is just being hunted down. Better for triple nine here
[02:56:48] here in the fourth round as they lead four versus three.
[02:56:59] Let's see if they start having in them to give triple nine a run for their money here
[02:57:04] in the fourth round. Looks very strong for them. Payload on the stackster. He's quite
[02:57:12] low now. About 50 HP. Zuki does have cross potential though from armoury. He looks to answer
[02:57:20] the call, nothing wrong with that. As Zuki tries his best to break this, Pika's low
[02:57:24] from down below in the meantime, maybe he looks to try and connect up main. Oh, Saksda!
[02:57:30] The pop flash, nice! That's some good teamwork from day start. Plenty more of the round
[02:57:37] Although it still goes 60 seconds infotop east.
[02:57:47] Swing timing from so what's good but it is off the back of J-Dog being knocked down.
[02:57:53] We can now confirm 2 vs 2 heading into the final 40 seconds.
[02:57:59] So what on the solace is going to be important if they start opt for a plant attempt?
[02:58:09] Miku's clearly clued on though with a good way to make over contact as they push in towards the site.
[02:58:14] Smoke will help and they start to try and get a little closer without Miku being able to be the first contact.
[02:58:20] And that then means he's sorry what's by himself.
[02:58:24] As soon as that smoke popped Miku had to rotate. He just held too long.
[02:58:27] Now the 1v2 post plan is going to be far more difficult for him.
[02:58:33] Azuki's in the best position.
[02:58:38] This is going to be so difficult for Miku to clear.
[02:58:41] Azuki, you don't need to push out and make it easier for him.
[02:58:45] He did actually pull that clear and it's a pop up for Azuki to get out of the
[02:58:52] kettle.
[02:58:53] 3-1 lead for day start.
[02:58:54] All right, so a little bit back and forth here on border in the first half
[02:58:59] But to in a row for day start
[02:59:02] And only a single site that's been successfully won by triple nine being customs and supply
[02:59:09] Least them in a strange position heading into the next two rounds not out of this by any means and look
[02:59:14] I imagine we will go back the customs supply and then Armory and archives
[02:59:19] So still a chance for triple nine to get themselves back into a good spot in this half
[02:59:24] the rounds have been pretty close like it's not kind of half where I'm thinking
[02:59:29] they start just running away with this two Tuesdays late on the opening kills
[02:59:33] the rounds have been pretty back and forth I need to win this then go to
[02:59:39] custom supply and you could end this half three three and be in a good spot
[02:59:48] yep they start obviously eager try and start running away with this one but
[02:59:53] Tribunai look competitive and given that the only defensive round they've went up
[03:00:00] until this point was custom supply and very...
[03:00:03] We'll be shocked if we do see a reappearance of that for the final round of the half
[03:00:09] and now though it's back up to the expected default.
[03:00:13] Armory archives.
[03:00:14] See what they start to go for.
[03:00:18] the sense in play, also running thinker shield.
[03:00:24] This could be some kind of quick play sandwich.
[03:00:26] We've seen that become pretty popular
[03:00:30] for some teams for a direct approach
[03:00:31] that's a little different to the archives here at old,
[03:00:34] but in the spawn positions here,
[03:00:38] that doesn't seem like it will be
[03:00:39] the primary option for day.
[03:00:41] So the sense can also be used
[03:00:42] over the wards, the armory side push,
[03:00:46] If I had the coverage against the security cross, the triple don't have been constantly playing.
[03:00:53] Either way, this is going to be the kind of round, presumably, where Daystar need to rely on really high levels of coordination,
[03:00:59] which I think has been probably the biggest hitch for them so far this stage.
[03:01:04] So, if I was going to deploy that utility, then we'll see what they go for.
[03:01:10] I mean, it's going down.
[03:01:11] I mean, if you're going to keep playing that same spot, eventually Daystar are going to clue on it,
[03:01:15] And the plant's going down in archives.
[03:01:17] Ooh, never mind.
[03:01:17] That was so close.
[03:01:19] Nitrosol from So What did deny, but unfortunately,
[03:01:23] he lives up to his name, because So What to 1v3.
[03:01:31] Yeah, really good job again from Daystar
[03:01:33] in a lot of these fights.
[03:01:34] Nicely done though.
[03:01:35] OK, maybe he might just keep this around alive.
[03:01:38] Knows where the plant's going down.
[03:01:41] Expecting the cover, made it across, got the kill,
[03:01:44] but the cover was there.
[03:01:45] decent effort from so what before one lead now for day start and taking good
[03:01:51] control of this game of border I mean that was a almost perfect clutch attempt
[03:01:57] there they start a little fortunate to actually hit the wall bang there and win
[03:02:02] out the one versus one for the trade I'm out from she but yeah then you got to
[03:02:08] call it this point trailing for one I do wonder they're gonna be discussing
[03:02:12] the custom supply up next I assume that that would be the case we focus on the
[03:02:17] strategy for this site I'm expecting them to go back there unless they're
[03:02:20] fearful days are good enough to live where else do you go no one's a single
[03:02:25] round and it was on that site you have to go back custom supply and look I
[03:02:28] agree I think that they start will then be better prepared for a second go
[03:02:32] around but you have to go there right you're not going back to army
[03:02:39] you've lost that twice. Unless they feel like double down on it, we can play that
[03:02:44] better, we'll change a few things. And that's the benefit then of the tactical
[03:02:47] time now. We don't know what she said, we don't know what they've been discussing.
[03:02:52] But that's the only other expectation. I'd be very surprised if they go on like
[03:02:56] vent workshop or bathroom towers. I'd be very surprised. But this is also a
[03:03:03] case of a round where they tried to do the same thing again with this sort
[03:03:05] of like break and cctv kind of stack they start clue onto that so they split
[03:03:10] they go for the plant wall also drawing attention over to this side of the map
[03:03:14] that really then just kind of kept triple nine in a position where they
[03:03:18] couldn't really fight a battle in two fronts okay so we're gonna go bathroom
[03:03:21] tell us I don't know about this yeah maybe they are just respecting this much
[03:03:30] in a fearful they've been able they would be good enough to recover after
[03:03:34] last attempt but I don't know. It's not so much that this side's bad it's just you've won a single round
[03:03:40] you've got one round to go in the half go back to the site you won.
[03:03:45] And it's also known as if the bands would have changed much they didn't play the clash on that
[03:03:49] site um they also took the nomad out of play that they started to play so yeah I know interesting
[03:03:57] we'll see either way it's a it's a master round that I don't see them coming back
[03:04:03] 1 to 5 down against A-style, irrespective of whatever form A-style may be in right now, so...
[03:04:08] The change up to this site is they bring the Goyo along with the Denari in place of the Mute and the Warden.
[03:04:19] That's the main change up, and a bit of shuffling as well in terms of who's coming what all the way up.
[03:04:26] Positionally looks the same.
[03:04:33] A J-Dog active, over towards that sort of waiting room elk, hit a presence top east, you got double stack security.
[03:04:42] Does leave a vulnerability over to archived, so I think they start with all of their time exploiting that.
[03:04:47] Peek is looking to flank early here though, so I don't know if there's something on the right happening on the side itself.
[03:04:52] I actually see her walking in.
[03:04:53] You did find first kill though.
[03:04:54] Yeah, Jude just gets a free kill.
[03:04:57] Looks like gets one back, but then Miku...
[03:05:02] I was able to get another one and it's just trade city. I mean, that's kind of really how this entire half is played out
[03:05:08] Backpacks plotted
[03:05:11] Zuki took an opportunity
[03:05:15] We're kind of just playing TDM really and we bought it does kind of have the tendency to play in that sort of way
[03:05:28] They don't forget about Mickey. I mean you just shot at him
[03:05:32] Unless they expected him to drop hatch off that pressure from azuki. Oh my god. Where are we going?
[03:05:44] I mean at that point maybe it was better to just drop hatches a minute left in the round 3v3
[03:05:49] Don't really need a contest over the armory and archive. So you know kind of putting what's
[03:05:52] the importance in this round for us that position no longer really was important
[03:05:56] Yeah, Daystar have played advantage of drones a lot of time and now a 3 versus 1.
[03:06:07] They're good from Daystar, triple 9 though unfortunately not showing enough in this first half offensively.
[03:06:14] Not going to count out so what just yet, double impact on the solos, 30 seconds, moves around a little bit, knows there's still someone on the second floor so they haven't got all three rushing at him.
[03:06:25] at him. If he can get an isolated gunfight, over towards safe passport, and then someone's
[03:06:33] planting one stays above, that can give him a chance. He wasn't raving the swing, and
[03:06:38] Suflay gets a wonderful kill. 5-1 half from Daystar. Utterly dominant, and more of what
[03:06:44] we expected this stage that's been sorely missing. We'll see if they can close this
[03:06:48] out here in the second half off to the break.
[03:09:18] So we return to our third game of the evening with Daystar 5-1 up. Very comfortable first
[03:09:28] half for them. And while the rounds were pretty back and forth, they were always the one that
[03:09:34] was slightly ahead. There weren't too many clutch moments from Daystar because triple
[03:09:39] nine maybe pulled ahead within the round. And every single time it looked as if they
[03:09:44] were going to go on and win the round they then did. There was no clutch just from
[03:09:47] there was no real fight back and in a lot of those 2v2s, 3v3s they start always just had their number.
[03:09:55] It's a long way back on boarder now for triple 9.
[03:09:59] Yesterday they did a really good job against Alarvay and they were good on their attacker.
[03:10:06] That wasn't club power so I'm not going to fully discount them just yet.
[03:10:09] just yet but they start really need to close this out and do so quickly too
[03:10:18] because they're round differential shock in minus 13 so this is actually now
[03:10:21] presented to be an opportunity to also not only get the three points but
[03:10:25] close the gap on that round differential to the likes of f5 and fury ahead of
[03:10:29] them.
[03:10:30] Well, the job's not done yet.
[03:10:41] I still have some level of concern in Daystar's ability to close this match, but so far it's
[03:10:45] been really good.
[03:10:46] So not taking anything away from the first half, it was impressive, trippin' and caught
[03:10:50] them out on the off-battery side, and outside of that, Daystar looked really, really positive,
[03:10:54] really good.
[03:10:55] Overall teamwork was a step up from some of the other matches so far this stage, so that's good
[03:11:02] Nor this round into the black is going to be very interesting
[03:11:05] Pickers should be able to keep so what?
[03:11:07] Hey, could you see the launch off? Let's see how much damage it does if you land the shot
[03:11:13] Perfect hang on to about 40 HP. Oh
[03:11:16] No, we knew that much was able to rip it out
[03:11:18] When I saw it with Nick the other week, I actually did a lot of damage, ultimately about 80 or 90 overall, but all me, Q.
[03:11:28] Okay, well, I mean, there are chances in this second half they're gonna play like this.
[03:11:32] Yeah.
[03:11:33] They're just shorting day-stars defense, and this should give Triple 9 the confidence that they can bring this game back.
[03:11:39] Come and get it!
[03:11:41] The question was too late.
[03:11:44] It's not in the end flawless from triple nine and a little statement just to
[03:11:49] suggest that they start this is not going to be a comfortable close here on
[03:11:52] border they're gonna have to really work on the defense do a lot better in those
[03:11:56] early contact fights that was too quick too easy that's a credit to triple nine
[03:12:02] there and their confidence to push in take gunfights and we saw that
[03:12:05] yesterday against elevate that when they would get that first pick they're
[03:12:09] not the kind of team that will find the first kill and then stall
[03:12:12] themselves they'll just keep going and see what the momentum can do on their carry through and so
[03:12:17] that's something that they start need to be clued on quickly about is that if they do have that
[03:12:21] opening death expect it triple nine to keep coming. Yeah I mean typically border plays out in a very
[03:12:31] snowball sort of fashion and uh I think triple nine thriving that kind of environment they're
[03:12:35] very very eager typically to kind of carry momentum forward in around attacking or
[03:12:40] defensively attacking, they'll take a lot of space, try and force more flights, defensively it's very
[03:12:44] much the same where they'll either fortify positions or sometimes advance forward as well.
[03:12:53] Let's see how it does end up eventuating. In fact the numbers actually do back this up,
[03:12:57] I'm having a look across at the entry conversion on border again this year,
[03:13:01] globally massive sample size. It's 74% in comparison to the lowest for both Leia and
[03:13:09] fortress at 69% so a pretty large gap and illustrating the point that yeah find the entry on border it
[03:13:17] saves it very well in the long run so yeah we'll see how this match continues to develop
[03:13:23] still a long way forward for triple nine. It's actually kind of funny when you consider the
[03:13:29] global numbers and compare it to this match back in that first half there are actually more
[03:13:34] rounds one where the entry wasn't a conversion so maybe it's a return to
[03:13:39] normality here for the second one I have to say
[03:13:41] I like the fact that they immediately go melusi right I mean that's just the
[03:13:52] ultimate respect it's one of the better slowdown kind of operators with the
[03:13:55] banshees at the norm you'll double down on that because of the multi-play
[03:14:00] now in this round previously the black fiat so that works out well for one split
[03:14:10] that does kind of leave you a little vulnerable and have his moments where
[03:14:17] especially if you pressure you out he can panic a little bit at times gets a
[03:14:23] good damage on the stacks that has a nitrocell disease the monty instead
[03:14:26] goes crying now getting the call from the drug of payload they are trying to
[03:14:29] Crush him. Throws the Nitro, sell out. You can see the panic in his eyes. He is, to be fair, he has just been completely
[03:14:38] pulled on an island. I don't think he did anything wrong. No, he did nothing wrong. I mean, that is a lot for one man to handle.
[03:14:44] Azuki does get a kill on Tostaksta to at least equal the numbers. And it meant Pika had to quickly rotate back to tell us.
[03:14:51] And it ends up being a pretty net-neutral trade for both teams for 70 seconds.
[03:15:00] Chipolano at least still...
[03:15:01] Oh, I was going to say I have the 1TR, but he falls.
[03:15:03] Great isolation from Sufrae.
[03:15:05] This is where Azuki just can't throw his life free.
[03:15:08] You cannot just be peeking pillar here into a 1v1.
[03:15:11] You've got to play into advantage.
[03:15:12] It's 4 vs 3, minute.
[03:15:14] Start thinking about your route back towards the site.
[03:15:16] You have Nitro.
[03:15:17] I'm looking for the isolation, we'll see if it works.
[03:15:22] Plenty of presence still on this second floor, so they may look to just redirect and force
[03:15:27] the rotation here on the defence.
[03:15:30] 30 seconds.
[03:15:32] Yeah, man, they've done a really good job now, Daystar, and just kind of stalling out
[03:15:39] triple nine, not giving them an advantage in this round, and now triple nine have
[03:15:44] to think.
[03:15:45] to think and I think it's a bit different to when they could just kind of rush in towards the building
[03:15:49] a little tap on the j-dog it's almost like silly play just saying yep we've still got vert and then j's
[03:15:54] on call as well bicep vert of seal inside of alphas just don't know how you get this plant down to stay
[03:15:59] start now looking to get to six the nine triple nine the chance to get the three points and
[03:16:06] giving themselves the best opportunity to collect all three some long faces as it's been a very
[03:16:12] long stage for Daystar but now I have the chance to kind of get themselves a
[03:16:17] fighter's chance going into next week. Win this round, it's a good round
[03:16:22] differential, a saving moment for them too because again they're so far behind on
[03:16:26] the round here and it may be a factor if they can win next week against Dolphin.
[03:16:32] Looking likely they'll get the three points here. That would put them on nine
[03:16:35] points and with the way that the stage is shaping out nine points might
[03:16:39] end up being good enough for fourth who knows yeah maybe it would be a very
[03:16:46] remarkable turn around if they start with go on make finals have a splash and
[03:16:50] have an impact in that that bracket you never know sometimes teams can find that
[03:16:57] form and peak at the right moment others will fly on the round etc so whilst
[03:17:02] it's so far too early to call that and far far too early to even confirm
[03:17:07] them for the top four. You never know, they are a very special team for a reason, and I
[03:17:13] don't think they'll give up on this stage without giving it their all. Triple nine though, I
[03:17:20] think are very much also going to reflect the same sentiment that they'll keep fighting
[03:17:24] in this matchup, irrespective of day start, at least of locking in. Over time they've
[03:17:29] had some pretty good moments, I think they've just been outmatched by a team with more
[03:17:33] experience in this kind of game. They wouldn't put pencil down their performance as being
[03:17:39] below the expectation for a team that lacks experience at this level of play, but let's
[03:17:46] see if they do show fight. We're going to see the Nori again here from Daystone. I'm
[03:17:51] pretty surprised just how heavily they're leaning into it. Triple 9 on the other side
[03:17:54] have not shied away from playing shields irrespective if they've spotted that out
[03:17:59] prep phase or not they're called Blackbeard Round 7 into Monty, Black to the Blackbeard,
[03:18:04] they're not too deterred. We're seeing it more and more aren't we as the stage goes on, like when
[03:18:08] we started this stage across all regions it was just not being played and I feel like within the
[03:18:12] last week alone we're seeing teams start to get a little bit more usage out of it, picking up
[03:18:17] more ideas how to use the Horus launcher. I mean even really just using it as not just
[03:18:21] Walton R but even Space Denial, we saw it over on Clubhouse denying the push-up rafters.
[03:18:26] I think teams are starting to clue on that not only is he not a good gun he's got
[03:18:32] He brings either a barbed wire or deployable shield
[03:18:36] And then you've got the Horus launcher which is got five bullets
[03:18:39] And you can kind of just use them more willingly than just having to reserve it simply for shield or even wall denial
[03:18:45] And so what dead courtesy of seal with the opening kill today start
[03:18:49] in pretty hit and miss though on the conversion with these advantages
[03:18:53] They still haven't had many of them though, I mean the opening kills have for the most
[03:18:59] part been dominated by triple nine and without the blackbeard now they find themselves looking
[03:19:03] apparently close to losing this 7-2, who's going to be the one to stand up and make
[03:19:09] a big moment in this round, Stuckster at least pushes into office, then workshop those
[03:19:15] a distance away from this position seal with the good angle he commits to this
[03:19:25] army position catches J-dogg off guard it is a strange off angle trade elsewhere
[03:19:31] yeah with the grave 60 seconds and sealed is in a pinned position although
[03:19:36] Suflate and a Zuki can aid good coverage from seal Staxter falls as well
[03:19:42] and they start. Yeah, I mean that's the day start that we expected coming into this stage isn't it just brutal 7 to
[03:19:50] Yeah, it wasn't clean. It wasn't super clinical, but they've got so much firepower and when they're informed. They're still a really good team
[03:19:57] It's just not quite being their stage
[03:19:59] but that doesn't mean you just throw the toys out of the cart and
[03:20:02] Disband the team and make changes sometimes you can just have a rough week or two and
[03:20:07] and unfortunately with the format and the landscape you just aren't really afforded to have a bad patch
[03:20:13] and otherwise then you might miss out on finals and it could be potentially the end of your year
[03:20:18] but there is still a chance back in this stage for Daystar off this win three points helps them
[03:20:23] with their round differential they'll go in as favorites to start next week play day six as
[03:20:27] well in their match against Dolphin which couldn't even be to four man elevate today
[03:20:32] only managed one round so they should win that should win that comfortably
[03:20:36] That will then put them in a spot where they'll be on 9 points going into the final playday.
[03:20:40] But that's where the positivity ends.
[03:20:42] Because on that final playday in the last game, they play Waybo gaming.
[03:20:46] And that might be a win in your in for them.
[03:20:50] Likely will.
[03:20:51] But the chance of beating Waybo, as we know, is going to be very, very tough.
[03:20:54] If they start play to their very best though, they will be a chance.
[03:20:58] But they'll have to play better than even this game to beat Waybo.
[03:21:02] For triple nine.
[03:21:03] I'm not going to be able to
[03:21:07] make finals anyway, but I'm the
[03:21:09] two rounds on border. Definitely
[03:21:11] a little disappointing. Let's go
[03:21:13] to our interview, though. It's
[03:21:15] the Harambe dance up today. A
[03:21:17] little whoop whoop. Not a lot of
[03:21:19] dancing, though. Best stage
[03:21:21] Harambe. It's been rough,
[03:21:23] obviously, but with this
[03:21:25] win, you play dolphin next
[03:21:27] week. You give your strength
[03:21:29] to keep the game going.
[03:21:31] often next week, you give yourselves a chance.
[03:21:35] But what's the vibe like on the team?
[03:21:37] How is the team tracking behind the scenes?
[03:21:41] Because as I was just kind of saying,
[03:21:43] sometimes you can have a bad week or two.
[03:21:45] That happens.
[03:21:46] It's unfortunate that for you guys,
[03:21:47] it's kind of been at a very important part of the year.
[03:21:53] Yeah, for now, we are facing our problems
[03:21:56] and we're fixing them like we did today.
[03:22:00] So, yeah, we can say last week was like, bad day,
[03:22:04] but yesterday, facing against Fury,
[03:22:06] that's not like, bad day,
[03:22:08] it's just we playing bad and we not transforming
[03:22:12] our performance and scrims into our official play days.
[03:22:15] So, that is getting fixed right now.
[03:22:19] And yeah, we have to win,
[03:22:21] I know we have to win like, both games next week
[03:22:24] to be able to have a chance to be in playoffs.
[03:22:27] And we'll do our best to do that.
[03:22:30] Yeah, absolutely. Wishing you guys all the best in terms of that run towards the top
[03:22:35] four. From your perspective, what's it been like? Has it been challenging sort of from
[03:22:40] a mental perspective or is it strategic? I mean, it sounds to me like it might be a
[03:22:44] little bit of an element of both if you're failing to transition your scrims into play
[03:22:49] days. What is it from your perspective? Is it the strategies aren't strong enough
[03:22:52] or the strategies aren't being played or is it maybe the mentality that's getting
[03:22:56] in the way of those strategies?
[03:22:57] Oh, it's 100% mentality part, because we were literally shitting teams and scrims.
[03:23:04] On the same map, like Fush Kalei was shitting us.
[03:23:08] Every Shalay scrims, we shit on our opponent.
[03:23:11] No joke, but we just lost ourself yesterday.
[03:23:16] And yeah, it's really all about the mentality, it's scrims, everyone is doing their part,
[03:23:22] Doing a job, talk and officials it starts to you know be a bit quiet and he didn't do this. He didn't do that and you know
[03:23:31] with us
[03:23:34] Is that something I guess for you Harambe that you're gonna look at
[03:23:38] Not even just now probably will now but also then in future around the scrims where yes
[03:23:43] You're winning these scrims
[03:23:44] But you have to be mindful that scrims are scrims and sometimes teams have got different goals and different thoughts
[03:23:49] And they don't mind potentially losing because maybe they've gained in other facets
[03:23:53] Is that something that for you guys and certainly for you on the coaching staff that we'll look at in future and not just be happy with the wins
[03:24:00] But more so little things that you can then have a better chance of translating that to game day
[03:24:07] This is actually probably the
[03:24:11] Second time that happened to us and we we know like screams are screams. We also know
[03:24:17] And officials, everyone have to contribute more than scrims, and we were just not, you know,
[03:24:25] win that in this stage.
[03:24:28] So yeah, I addressed that to the team and now they pick it up.
[03:24:34] We win today.
[03:24:36] Last one, Harambe, but who are you dropping for next week's game against Dolphin?
[03:24:39] They played 4v5.
[03:24:41] No, no, no, no, no.
[03:24:44] No, no, that don't happen. Oh my God, that would be a nightmare.
[03:24:49] Harambe, anything you'd like to say before we let you go?
[03:24:53] Actually, this time, sorry to the fans, sorry to Zalma and Eva.
[03:24:58] We tried our best to fix stuff.
[03:25:00] Fortunately, we lost, you know, three games in a row.
[03:25:03] That's really bad for us.
[03:25:05] But, you know, we'll fight 100% to the end
[03:25:09] and try to make us back into the playoffs.
[03:25:12] Well, Harambe, you may have lost three games in a row, but you still have the chance to
[03:25:16] win three games in a row and get into finals.
[03:25:19] Best of luck to you and the team, and hopefully we can see you make top four.
[03:25:24] Thank you guys.
[03:25:25] Yeah.
[03:25:26] So, Daystar, back to winning ways, 7-2 over triple nine and giving themselves a chance
[03:25:34] of top four.
[03:25:35] And a chance that in theory, they do technically hold their own fate in their hands, win
[03:25:40] against Dolphin, win against Waybo, and they're likely in.
[03:25:45] Yeah, absolutely. It would probably go down as one of the
[03:25:48] biggest redemption stories in the history of the APL. If they
[03:25:52] were able to turn around what was a very slow start to go on and
[03:25:57] win the last three games, the final of which being against
[03:26:00] potentially the greatest team ever to play Siege in a pack
[03:26:04] would be absolutely like insane. So we'll see how it
[03:26:09] of fellows hopefully at least from a storyline perspective they actually do win play day five
[03:26:14] six and we kind of get that final ultimate matchup where they have to beat weibo and that would be
[03:26:18] a huge way to end the session. All right well that greatest team in all of APAC history that
[03:26:24] you're alluding to is up next as they take on weibo gaming I'm just like it's shop up versus
[03:26:28] wave her up next off to the break for our final, give her the bat.
[03:26:58] I play for Weibo Gaming and the APL.
[03:27:07] My earliest gaming memories was on the PlayStation 3 with my dad.
[03:27:11] I used to play Call of Duty the first Modern Warfare I think, like Cod 4.
[03:27:16] I used to play a lot with my dad on the PS3, like sitting his lap, holding the controller,
[03:27:20] like learning how to play.
[03:27:21] After that, I was three years old at the time.
[03:27:24] I'm not sure when, maybe a few years later, I'd play a lot of like GTA 4.
[03:27:28] very child-friendly games, yeah off of that I would just play like all of the new
[03:27:33] Kool-A-Doodies that would come out every year, play a few racing games I need for
[03:27:36] speed and stuff, but yeah, mostly just like the Kool-A-Doodies every year. When I was 15
[03:27:40] I kind of saw like a lot of my friends around me were kind of starting to get
[03:27:44] PCs, like they'd get part-time jobs, save up and buy a PC, all of the
[03:27:48] YouTube was I was watching as well, streamers were getting PCs, ended up
[03:27:51] working with my dad for like a summer or something. My parents helped me buy a
[03:27:53] PC for my 15th birthday. My little sister is seven years younger to me,
[03:27:57] So we never really had hung out and especially never really played games together like by the time she was able to function as a human being
[03:28:04] Like I was already playing a lot of like single-player games
[03:28:07] Not really playing like kid-friendly games and my older sister just never had interest in it to us
[03:28:11] I first played Siege when I was 11 years old. I want to say in
[03:28:16] the first beta in
[03:28:18] 2015 I played I thought the main game mode of the game was Terra Sun
[03:28:23] I really remember like play on canal
[03:28:25] I would sit on my drone go red ping all of the terrorists and then go kill them and I would do that like on repeat
[03:28:31] I thought I was so fun. I literally didn't know that it wasn't the main game
[03:28:34] But I ended up going through all the situations often that was fun
[03:28:37] And yeah, I just never never even thought to like press the multiplayer button not until a full game release and probably
[03:28:44] Not until like a month after the full game release. I was just so excited
[03:28:48] I would even replay the situations over and over and like thinking back to that
[03:28:51] I haven't touched the situations and maybe
[03:28:53] 7 years. If the situation is a revamp then yeah, I would definitely go go on a once through but not more than once
[03:29:00] Yeah, so when I first got my PC the main game I was playing was like siege like in the you know the competitive mode like the rank mode
[03:29:07] I was playing a lot of siege, but I also tried out like Valorant kind of when the COVID era hit
[03:29:11] It was around around the sandwich time like I got my PC and I was 2019 then COVID 2020
[03:29:16] So played a lot of battlefield as well. I'd mix in like you know Minecraft like 2k racing games stuff like that
[03:29:22] but my heart's always been in shooter games. I actually quit Siege for like six months
[03:29:28] when it came out but ended up coming back as most people that quit Siege do. I played a little bit
[03:29:32] of like card rank play which is with my mates and stuff from IRLs but nothing really as seriously
[03:29:37] as Siege. For me, single player games, I think they're more enjoyable than multiplayer games
[03:29:44] like especially as I've gotten older when I was growing up like around my teenage years
[03:29:48] I enjoyed multiplayer games more especially when you're still progressing and like climbing the ranks in multiplayer games
[03:29:54] I feel like that's more enjoyable than being the top rank and smashing everyone then it goes to like single-player games are more enjoyable
[03:30:01] I haven't always been a quiet natured person though, especially in the rank lobbies
[03:30:05] I like talking my shit, but it's usually just all on the server like especially when I meet people that I've talked shit to
[03:30:10] But like it's all I can always like put it behind me and just keep it on the server
[03:30:15] I think that my mom was a bit confused at first when she saw me like typing in chat a lot and talking trash to the other team
[03:30:21] But I think like over time she's understand that's just a part of like who I am my online persona
[03:30:45] I'm bringing it right to the top, inside of Tommy you couldn't be good
[03:30:50] Take it to the ashes
[03:30:53] We want the ashes
[03:30:55] Let's, let's, kill them, kill them
[03:30:58] Take it to the ashes
[03:31:00] We want the ashes
[03:31:15] I'm going to make my skin rise, can it just be us tonight?
[03:31:28] Do you believe in magic?
[03:32:30] It's your sake
[03:34:00] I
[03:35:30] versus Weibo gaming to close out playday five.
[03:35:33] Two teams that are not only undefeated,
[03:35:36] but also have exactly the same round differential,
[03:35:39] 28-9, no separating them up to this point for this game
[03:35:42] will be the determining factor
[03:35:44] as to who will be the number one seed heading into next week.
[03:35:47] We've got a little special graphic.
[03:35:49] It's a birthday bonanza today.
[03:35:52] Certainly in Asia with Crit J and Speakeasy,
[03:35:55] both having their birthdays.
[03:35:56] Also special shout out for the wider APR region
[03:35:59] in OST, it's players birthday too.
[03:36:02] So three APL players with the same birthday.
[03:36:06] Yeah, for sure.
[03:36:07] Speak easy, turning 26 for the same age as me,
[03:36:11] making me feel pretty old.
[03:36:12] And he has been around for what feels like literally,
[03:36:15] or am I?
[03:36:16] So, yeah, he has the ability to be such a prolonged
[03:36:20] and successful player.
[03:36:21] And Crit J, actually only 22.
[03:36:23] I thought he was maybe a little bit older.
[03:36:24] He's also feels like he's been around since forever,
[03:36:26] probably since 2018.
[03:36:28] So, yeah, excited to see these two go at it and hoping that it's a close game.
[03:36:32] I expect Waybo to look dominant, but you never know.
[03:36:37] Yeah, here's Chris J. Mady's debut back in 2021 on the Elevate Academy
[03:36:41] and has been a star ever since once he turned 18 and joined into pro league.
[03:36:46] Let's go and have a look at Sharpa Esports first up for our rosters ahead of this game.
[03:36:50] It's been a really good stage from Sharpa so far.
[03:36:53] They've gone pretty much uncontested.
[03:36:55] 7-4 of an elevator in the opening playday, then 7-0 of a day start, 7-3 of a triple nine, 7-2 yesterday against Dolphin on Chalet.
[03:37:04] Haven't really done a lot wrong. They've looked really, really good. Are they way boat level? We're about to find out.
[03:37:10] That's really the last real big test for them in this game ahead of finals to come.
[03:37:14] But when we kind of spoke to Sharper yesterday, the general message really is all about not really having to be the best team.
[03:37:24] like that. You know kind of
[03:37:28] the shoot for the stars and if
[03:37:29] you land on the moon, which in
[03:37:30] this case is the second slot,
[03:37:32] you still get to go to a soccer
[03:37:33] and I think that's really the
[03:37:34] best goal for Sharper eSports.
[03:37:36] Can you beat Wayboat? Can you
[03:37:37] be better than them? Great. If
[03:37:38] not, second will do. Yeah,
[03:37:41] exactly. So again, not they
[03:37:42] need to look competitive. They
[03:37:44] can't be getting trounced in
[03:37:45] this matchup. Otherwise, we
[03:37:46] quickly then start to shift
[03:37:47] discussion as to whether or
[03:37:48] not that is going to be the
[03:37:49] case. So that's them wrapped
[03:37:51] up in terms of the
[03:37:52] discussion. Let's jump across
[03:37:53] It's been strong from them so far.
[03:37:56] Admittedly though, yesterday was somewhat concerning.
[03:38:01] They were pretty asleep at the wheel in the first half
[03:38:03] against F5, getting caught out by the antics
[03:38:06] that those guys were ever produced, over on lair,
[03:38:10] and very slow out of the gates.
[03:38:12] And the only reason why it's important to critique this
[03:38:16] is that because it's been such a big strength
[03:38:18] from Wayvo, especially since they've been able
[03:38:22] tidied things up and the support stuff that they now have on offer as well.
[03:38:27] We've seen that mental game from them in these style of games be so much stronger.
[03:38:33] I think Gohan has played a large role in that as head coached to ensure that the mental
[03:38:37] is really strong.
[03:38:38] They take every round incredibly seriously.
[03:38:41] They respect their opponents as much as is required to get the result.
[03:38:46] Say that up to yesterday, I don't know.
[03:38:48] Yeah, up until yesterday, right?
[03:38:50] Yeah, again, that discussion is
[03:38:55] not super relevant for this map
[03:38:56] up because they know that
[03:38:57] sharper are switched on their
[03:38:58] on equal footing on them in
[03:38:59] the standings. Um, but yeah,
[03:39:01] just something to note that if
[03:39:02] they are a little off today,
[03:39:05] that's an opportunity for
[03:39:06] sharper, but I don't expect
[03:39:07] that to be the case. Let's
[03:39:09] go to the map. Vito's and see
[03:39:10] what map we will be playing to
[03:39:12] settle this gigantic battle
[03:39:15] yesterday. Sharp played on
[03:39:16] We're going to play on Lair and we make it or I thought we're going to get fortress for a split second. It will be Lair. So back to back layers from
[03:39:23] Weibo gaming, which I imagine they're going to play this very differently. Certainly in the attacking half, which they will be on first up
[03:39:30] will be on defense. So expect a very different Waybo in this game. I think that's pretty fair to say. And look, I agreed that in terms of they usually will respect all opponents.
[03:39:41] to what Turv said in the interview yesterday, we're on that attacking half against their
[03:39:44] five. It was drone hoven simulator. I don't think that's happening here. Weibo though have
[03:39:50] played their fair share of let twice already their stage, of course, for both teams, 12
[03:39:55] points each for wins each heading into this match. Our last game for the day for the
[03:40:00] week of Asia as well, and it sets up to be a big one. Well, it's not going to
[03:40:05] have large ramifications in terms of standings or positions or anything like that with
[03:40:10] finals on the horizon this just feels like a test more so for Sharpa with
[03:40:15] whether being the kings of this region Sharpa want to look to dethrone them
[03:40:23] let's jump in eager for this game and fingers crossed it's a competitive
[03:40:30] showing I love this life away by that they're straight back in the Lions
[03:40:35] then attacking back into lair after what happened yesterday there's no
[03:40:38] excuses for them to be looking half-hearted this time out and I'm sure
[03:40:43] they'll be a lot more switched on from the get-go. I think Terted in the interview
[03:40:47] himself probably alluding to the fact that they didn't prepare as well as they
[03:40:51] would have liked for that matchup in terms of lack of warm-up and readiness.
[03:40:54] So I feel they've been hitting the aim trainer, hitting into this one. They're
[03:40:58] good to go. The comps start flowing early. Is there a spective of how much
[03:41:02] sharper have looked up into this matchup? It would still be a shock to see
[03:41:05] them put in a convincing effort in this kind of matchup. It should be still a regulation
[03:41:12] win for Wayberg. I think they've earned the right to have that sort of expectation labeled
[03:41:18] on them. And that's just a testament to how good this team really is.
[03:41:23] But you think back to the grand final in stage one. And Asia in stage one, they only had
[03:41:30] the one slot for the eSports World Cup. Now, sharper back then, Team Orchard outside of,
[03:41:35] of course, the only real addition being, now, Nape U from the IIM, from the Nape U, 7171
[03:41:43] in that series, just a total non-contest. So, look, the team has leveled up since then.
[03:41:50] Organization changed, the addition of Nape U and so far being really, really solid throughout
[03:41:55] this stage, and better overall as a team than what they were in stage one.
[03:42:01] So that's your passbook, can you do better than 7-1, which is what the vast majority
[03:42:06] of the team did in the grand final against Weibo.
[03:42:10] I think they should be very much capable of that, but expecting a different Weibo
[03:42:14] in this first half than yesterday and already, you know, turned with the baseman entry
[03:42:18] lurk that these are the kind of things Weibo weren't really even doing yesterday.
[03:42:24] I think Sharpa are going to be well prepared.
[03:42:27] Everything's kind of led them to this moment so far through the opening four playdays.
[03:42:30] This is the ultimate test.
[03:42:33] And like this from Napier.
[03:42:34] Napier is the perfect addition to this roster because he just won't care about Wayboat.
[03:42:39] He'll have to respect and he'll happily look for these kind of early advantages.
[03:42:47] Well, OK, Reaps.
[03:42:50] in the fine AP, and Rizzle just stole 4, uh, let that kill.
[03:42:56] It could be a potential follow-up in terms of your usual dump or play through Bobby Kiefer
[03:43:01] or Sadaway Bo, and I'll drone D-Bo for the rewards of Maers, so they're looking sharp
[03:43:04] right now.
[03:43:05] No slugginess.
[03:43:06] Slugginess.
[03:43:07] Slug.
[03:43:08] Slug.
[03:43:09] There is, in my words, apparently.
[03:43:11] Rizzle, in the meantime, took a huge chunk of damage, but critically, he'll stay up,
[03:43:15] so he can still, uh, deploy Death Marks for the remainder of this round.
[03:43:18] That's a good catch from turd
[03:43:20] Unlucky timing on the pillar because as he's like on one side of it nothing and then he comes out on the other side
[03:43:25] And he's just standing in the doorway
[03:43:29] Good start from Weber, but this is also the kind of round that's shown here from Sharper
[03:43:33] They've wanted to try and do something they've wanted to try and be
[03:43:36] More advanced in their positioning try and take some of these early fights on this pot floor
[03:43:40] So you don't need to do that I would have preferred to see even try on a different side
[03:43:44] Oh, that's just wonderful team play. Expecting to swing off the Horus Launcher connecting
[03:43:50] on to speak easy, and it's only BG-man left. This is a wonderful start for Waybo, flawless
[03:43:56] from Waybo. But it's the kind of round that in some way
[03:43:58] sharper gave them a lot of these opportunities. Trying to roam around the map, trying to
[03:44:02] play a little bit differently rather than that sort of bunker strap top floor allowing
[03:44:07] them time for Waybo to sort of work through the checklists and the minigames, because
[03:44:10] they know that Waybo are good enough that they can do that. So they tried to
[03:44:14] do something a little differently didn't work. I honestly would like to see Sharpa
[03:44:18] repeat the bomb site and actually then play the bonkers try and then test
[03:44:22] Weibo a little bit more.
[03:44:28] Yeah they definitely look switched on though in the opening round.
[03:44:33] We go base Weibo. Playing much better as a team. Basement certainly fine. The lineup
[03:44:38] here defensively though is pretty interesting with the scopers in play
[03:44:42] nor as well for shield counter. Again, interesting to see if he's going to hide himself or is
[03:44:51] he happy to be exposed and at least scare Wabo away from playing shields. Doesn't look
[03:44:56] like he will be hiding his position here in the prep phase. That means that he could
[03:45:01] be susceptible to Wabo spotting him. I didn't catch it, maybe I was happy earlier
[03:45:09] I didn't see a drone make it all the way down into sight and see him, but either way
[03:45:13] There will be a prompt repair here from the attack
[03:45:17] The shields will be dropped
[03:45:20] They go for very info heavy
[03:45:22] Line up here with a day more stock be and line combo
[03:45:28] If they'll go for a little bit of map clear they could also look to just consolidate warehouse here
[03:45:31] I think they're the kind of team that would back themselves in to go for that play in and
[03:45:35] Flash that out strongly, but we'll say
[03:45:39] That's conventional from Sharper's perspective, but way by going direct.
[03:46:09] And with that, Sharpa's already brought one back over, extra to basement, so I need to
[03:46:19] clue on to the fact that Wabo are not really looking to play into that room game.
[03:46:23] Oh, Reeps with the movement.
[03:46:29] Peeps though catches him, and a little too much movement from Reeps.
[03:46:32] And that's a moment there where he probably tried to do a little too much, gives Sharpa
[03:46:38] but the open kill in the second round.
[03:46:43] Still got first floor control as well, mind you.
[03:46:45] So Sharpa will be able to play if they want the vert game.
[03:46:47] That's now up to Holvendor go searching
[03:46:49] with the death mark activated.
[03:46:50] It's now deactivated.
[03:46:52] Maybe we'll go from first floor to basement,
[03:46:54] gives up the shell.
[03:46:57] Small, very small little win for Waybo Dan
[03:46:59] found the kill on two peeps, so that's a bigger win.
[03:47:02] Orvie four and you get rid of one of the top players
[03:47:04] of Sharpa.
[03:47:08] Yeah, 60 seconds. Big pick side of the way for both teams and now Wayboe entered the
[03:47:16] river stalled out state. It's a bit easier to jump on drone toxin trying to find a
[03:47:23] way forward there. I think the utility's still deployed here for Wayboe, but also
[03:47:28] counter-util on the site still for stalled out on the side of Sharpboss, so.
[03:47:32] It's difficult for them to make a move, as like holes will pass on the
[03:47:35] Colvin speak easy forward as well, that's been pretty good from the defense.
[03:47:39] That's pretty much just kind of split entries from Wayboe,
[03:47:42] they haven't really done a good job in clearing up the defenders on site,
[03:47:45] who are well set up, and this is a great round from Sharper Esports.
[03:47:56] Just in the reaction time of their on turn,
[03:48:00] a little peek, or off shot on to make you.
[03:48:02] And then does get the next one on to Leicola's, but BGman says enough time was expiring anyway
[03:48:09] and Sharpa will answer back in the second round as we go 1-1.
[03:48:14] Head around from Sharpa Resports and just clued on to that fact that it was going to
[03:48:17] be a direct hit.
[03:48:18] There was no real presence shown on that first floor until very, very late and then
[03:48:22] by that point they'd pretty much covered off a lot of angles in the site.
[03:48:27] Waybo then looked for a bit of a split here around Basement and everyone essentially
[03:48:32] just loses their battles and the round falls apart but he from rapes I mean
[03:48:37] rapes is rapes he can do what he wants he's got that that freedom after all
[03:48:40] these years but he just didn't need to go for that sort of play through the
[03:48:44] doorway gives Sharpa a really good chance to get rid of him and
[03:48:48] ultimately left her no real chance late in that round
[03:48:53] Back to top floor in a more conventional looking lineup coming out of Sharper here.
[03:49:03] So they bring the Azami firstly which I think is much better and that's really the only
[03:49:07] change but it just strengthens the sight hold and then I imagine they're going to
[03:49:12] also positionally play this differently.
[03:49:14] Some way they'll ultimately end up committing to double, uh, a primary high bridge in play.
[03:49:31] So the upside is definitely in play.
[03:49:36] The capitol is going to be really important in this round, depending on what they shape
[03:49:40] for.
[03:49:41] Great for spacing up nez.
[03:49:42] control that side can use onsite as well more directly to cover the cross
[03:49:49] effectively so we'll see how that's playing out
[03:49:56] it is surprised we're seeing Nor still here from Sharpa but I guess it is keeping
[03:50:02] sure today or at least we're not picking it it's the more days in it
[03:50:07] seems to be I think it's going to be one of those kind of operators that
[03:50:12] many thought as it got kind of tweaked and then released everyone's like oh it's not that great
[03:50:17] doesn't really do maybe as good a job as it's advertised to do but once you start to play
[03:50:25] in scrims and figure out oh it can kind of do this it can kind of do that maybe a little bit
[03:50:30] more versatile than we thought slowly over time it's now just kind of making its way into being
[03:50:35] played and but not to the degree where i'd be very surprised with hints of panic because
[03:50:40] I don't think it's having that level of impact, but I think it's actually slotting in more to the level of impact of like a denarii
[03:50:47] Not similar op but in terms of just the the niche this offer like all his dies to God
[03:50:51] He after peeps ended up falling back to site and I call us held the angle and then dies
[03:50:56] We won't get to see the Horus launcher this round
[03:51:10] Big easy. Now we'll bring the bow out. We'll be looking to lay that U-Till 60 seconds of
[03:51:22] aim. Range hard breach now to create a path for default plant. You can see turn of reach
[03:51:28] on the opposing side, look at the pinch pressure. So it's a little set up attack at the moment.
[03:51:33] Wave over probe on this side of the map whilst the bulk of the push will come courtesy
[03:51:37] got it with that defuser on the opposing side great death mark here feeding info courtesy of reaps
[03:51:45] it looks really dangerous probably good for one if he commits here perfect read on two
[03:51:55] let's play on the opposing side or bg man but peeps elsewhere found two on the entry alongside
[03:52:00] the main push. The patient's returned, but there's a lot happening around him and
[03:52:07] the time has started to run low. Finally Reeps is, he pulled his back hit over
[03:52:12] towards server completely misses on the spray. Turf down nose, he needs to get
[03:52:16] moving. I was getting the kill on to Peeps. The APU shuts down Gotti, it's only
[03:52:22] Turf that's left up. It's the headshot time. We'll expire. Close.
[03:52:27] Oh, so close if you had to hit that shot first time over to the other side of the map
[03:52:32] He actually would have won the round but
[03:52:35] Doesn't connect and sharper take the 2-1 lead
[03:52:42] Well, it's still pretty early, but it feels like maybe sharper have what it takes
[03:52:48] Today
[03:52:50] Like that's the round, you know, like it's early. I'm not
[03:52:54] Yeah, this round three round at this game three rounds in and saying one thing or the other
[03:52:59] It's these two teams are good enough that it can go back and forth and
[03:53:03] Weibo's defense yesterday on this map was impeccable
[03:53:07] especially five one down with quite a lot of pressure to considering their opponent and the whole
[03:53:13] landscape of that game so
[03:53:15] Sharper gonna need to continue to collect defensive routes
[03:53:17] You replay a package of the last round, split attack ultimately from Weibo, the main push
[03:53:28] though foiled, speakeasy, and hoven fell simultaneously.
[03:53:34] Despite that some solid fight back, that's of course one of the hallmarks of Weibo is
[03:53:39] that, I mean with the exception maybe of yesterday, with how that kind of developed.
[03:53:44] In most cases, even in rounds where the plan A isn't perfect because of all their experience,
[03:53:49] because they're exposed to that so frequently in international level, they're so seamless
[03:53:55] really in being able to transition into a plan B, which isn't just a throwaway effort
[03:54:00] to win the round.
[03:54:01] Typically, they're able to fight back and have a very competitive outlook in many rounds.
[03:54:05] We saw that there, still pretty close, keeping Sharpa honest.
[03:54:11] I'm most excited for this side. I normally am when we go to lair between these two. It's gonna be a good battle for the Storm's objective
[03:54:19] Sharper to bring the solace
[03:54:22] Warden so they can be pretty hard here onto peeps and being able to
[03:54:28] Identify where plant bows down if we go electric go for a sense directed
[03:54:41] Oh my god, what a shot from PG Man with the SMG-11 again speak easy on the sends and that
[03:54:53] is a wonderful kill, but also an important one both ways.
[03:54:59] He gets rid of the sends, but more importantly stays alive.
[03:55:01] He dies there, it's 5v4 and they already then got quite a lot of control over towards
[03:55:07] his first floor.
[03:55:09] to make or break open and kill if I've ever seen one. It's not over yet.
[03:55:16] His turn answer's back. Well without the sends it probably needs to be second
[03:55:24] floor focus now from Waybo.
[03:55:27] I'm in a 30, another round that's looking quite close.
[03:55:39] Shockdrone pretty deep inside of the site from Goddy actually at the moment so I think that's
[03:55:43] been able to gain some really good information and maybe read here and that's going to
[03:55:46] pump the rest of the push.
[03:55:48] Goddy scouts does get though spotted by the solace so there's layers to this,
[03:55:54] now know that there's an objective insight that's now exposed and with the
[03:55:59] hard breach that has been deployed from Waybear Sharper will be a little bit on
[03:56:02] edge that Waybear will be preparing for a way to action that information shaping
[03:56:08] up green side for the moment and it has control I don't think Waybear were too
[03:56:12] far away from being able to go for a play with that play with advantage
[03:56:16] opportunities bolstered they're using the Horus launcher to block the
[03:56:20] doorway as well it's more denial stall out so you can't even rush through
[03:56:23] but they're luckily got turd up above and they found a couple of kills but
[03:56:28] that's an intriguing strategy from Sharper as well.
[03:56:31] Napier has opened up the floor and is using the Horus Launcher to block that
[03:56:35] doorway from green into sight.
[03:56:42] 3v2 now, 20 seconds left and you can't keep doing that so he drops down into
[03:56:47] briefing and immediately dies to turd. 8 and 1 by the way from turd.
[03:56:54] This way boat will unlock the tertiary site. Back and forth we go 2-2. It's a heavyweight
[03:57:02] boxing match and both have landed a few blows.
[03:57:11] Yeah they have. Another good example of way we're being able to problem solve their
[03:57:14] way out of sight they again split the attack nicely good control green side
[03:57:18] they ultimately needed pressure and clearance though up above that's what
[03:57:22] they did then when the rest of the dickens force down below pretty easy
[03:57:24] transition over towards the site sharp shots being exchanged both ways at the
[03:57:29] start they're both BG and turd hitting some insane shots turds lurk game here
[03:57:35] on layer has looked really impressive so far it's a really good temperament
[03:57:38] he's finding good openings I clearly play a while off the team comms that are
[03:57:42] being relayed in his direction as he mentioned he's up to eight skills which
[03:57:51] is strong start for him no one else in the server anywhere close to matching that
[03:57:58] effort at one point in his career he was kicked from the team and then had to
[03:58:05] Retrial for his own spot
[03:58:08] Yeah, that was a crazy time. There's like a lifetime ago and what a career
[03:58:13] He's had ever since then and will continue to have still so young and so talented
[03:58:19] into tonight
[03:58:22] In the top four rated players and eight and one in this game might seem leapfrog a couple certain these teammate and reaps
[03:58:28] All the reaps three and one as well having a good game
[03:58:30] Heaps and Crit J with a number one and number two raider players coming into
[03:58:36] tonight before from Peach two three from Crit J. Who kills yet at all from
[03:58:41] Nape U? So still a little bit more firepower I think available for Sharper.
[03:58:46] They're just getting beat up right now from Turd.
[03:58:54] I have to believe that Sharper got more plays in the top 10 raider players
[03:58:59] is all to two over Weibo.
[03:59:07] Weibo have inside of the top 15, five to four.
[03:59:14] Nitro rip as heaps finds reaps.
[03:59:19] Crit J keeping Hoven a bay for now,
[03:59:21] but Hoven is probably gonna be pretty eager
[03:59:23] to try and chase this fender down.
[03:59:27] Turd also got caught out this round though,
[03:59:29] So, yeah, positive work from Sharpa.
[03:59:31] They've done a great job in disrupting this lurk play
[03:59:34] from Waybo, which has been very successful for them.
[03:59:37] A vault-time swing from Napier.
[03:59:40] But Speakeasy was ready and waiting.
[03:59:42] Yeah, I mean, Napier plays that off the razor bloom well,
[03:59:45] but Speakeasy just hits a really good clean headshot
[03:59:48] on time and keeps the round alive for Waybo.
[03:59:51] He dies there, that's round over,
[03:59:52] and Sharpa take the lead,
[03:59:53] but he's still got Hoven on the blitz.
[03:59:56] God has got full bolts of utility.
[03:59:57] They've all got a decent amount of utility remaining still even a drone in pocket to Gotti
[04:00:05] Can't believe it's him nor me for a single round of this half
[04:00:08] But actually it's the horizontal edge of did land on to hover. He'll be forced back
[04:00:17] I was going to back out again from like Hollis and
[04:00:20] And Horris is realizing pretty quickly that the influence on the Blitz to be able to just
[04:00:26] push in freely is just not there right now.
[04:00:28] It's not a thought it's going to cause a disorder.
[04:00:31] How about another one?
[04:00:32] I've never seen a Blitz under this much pressure.
[04:00:35] Well, there's the power of the Horris launcher from North.
[04:00:39] And typically, Waybo in, well, there's gone by would have been able to play behind
[04:00:44] Horris and pushing in on the Blitz and maybe open up the site for Sharpa.
[04:00:47] you had to see at the Horus launcher from the north just completely stop them dead in their tracks
[04:00:59] it's been a good round from sharp up it's really nice work across the board I don't think their
[04:01:06] issue has been having a read on Waybo it's more so being that just Waybo's execution in terms of
[04:01:14] the half so far in its totality has just been a little bit better so that's a positive
[04:01:18] sign for them. They're not being majorly outbrained by Weibo over the course of this matchup, it's
[04:01:23] just that Weibo are insane in their level of execution.
[04:01:26] Good example on that round in their ability to read the lurk play off site, hitting
[04:01:32] some nice shots of their own. There's some good reactive play into what Weibo is being
[04:01:37] presented so solid from them they get the lead as the tussle between these two
[04:01:45] continues and we return to the top floor which has been a strength for sharper up
[04:01:53] until this particular point do you want to Xenox fun fact of the day heading into
[04:02:00] the font around of the half I would love it
[04:02:03] I can say no to these more than I do.
[04:02:06] I feel wrong to say no.
[04:02:09] Well as we know this is the 4th time wevers played in a row.
[04:02:13] I was looking back in terms of their splits.
[04:02:16] They've only given up a single offensive round
[04:02:20] as in the opposing team winning an attacking round against them once.
[04:02:25] In those three games from 4 which was dolphin back on play day 2.
[04:02:29] against Fury, three defensive rounds didn't give up any attacks and then
[04:02:34] against their five yesterday six straight. So that's gonna be the real test
[04:02:38] even if this gets to 4-2 for Sharpa. The test is in the second half.
[04:02:43] Weibo's defense on this map is faultless. This ends up 3-3. I think
[04:02:50] Weibo go into the second half feeling very comfortable. 4-2 okay. It'll be
[04:02:56] interesting, but even still I think Weibo will be very confident on their defense here
[04:03:01] on land. That's going to be the real challenge for Sharpa. One thing to sit back, play side,
[04:03:07] let the North counter the shield play, whole other aspect then trying to attack into Weibo.
[04:03:26] You can see the perceived pressure that that main breach offers.
[04:03:32] It's an area of the map that Sharper will need to be cautious of for the remainder of this
[04:03:35] round of wave of course of plustering and setting up elsewhere, spearheading largely
[04:03:40] from the opposite side.
[04:03:44] You can kind of see just when we're looking through some of these defenders just how
[04:03:47] conscious they are of the lurk threat or you know the ability for wave to make
[04:03:51] plays whether it be vert down below which Napier is watching out or from loggy or
[04:03:55] After involved etc like so many different entry points for this particular site that they know weibo aren't going to shy away from
[04:04:01] entering
[04:04:03] Unbeknownst to them that for the most part this is actually a pretty
[04:04:06] One-dimensional hit at the moment from weibo, but they still have 70 seconds to afford themselves an opportunity to look elsewhere
[04:04:14] I was launched from like holes deployed in an aid to try and still that I've reached here. He's body though
[04:04:20] Just with the one exit them if remaining
[04:04:22] Smokes go out and the players now in play.
[04:04:26] Oh, what a play from Turd.
[04:04:28] Not fearful at all.
[04:04:30] Got it inside of Mark went to flank.
[04:04:33] Crit J pushers and finds the kill.
[04:04:35] Pete's then gets rid of Hoven.
[04:04:36] Turd hasn't really found too much more though.
[04:04:38] Speaking as he will grab the kit,
[04:04:41] needs the protection.
[04:04:43] As Turd does protect against Naphew.
[04:04:47] I won six half for him and now we enter the post-plank
[04:04:50] for the first time in this entire half.
[04:04:52] Whether I look to take this top floor for the second time, Reeps will fall.
[04:05:01] Three low health members, doesn't matter, Peeps finds the double from the bridge against
[04:05:05] Speakeasy and Turd, Sharper go 4-2 up.
[04:05:10] The real test may await in the second half but they do pass the first test with flying
[04:05:16] colors.
[04:05:17] four to two heading into their attack.
[04:05:47] It ain't written out there game like I thought it
[04:05:51] It don't make me no bigger to show it
[04:05:53] The stickers on here for the trophy
[04:05:55] They made it law where they came out appeal
[04:05:57] Show them then to list it out appeal
[04:05:59] But you think it cost me out the deal
[04:06:01] All I know is how I can make me for the dough
[04:06:05] Since it touched down, all they want is hope
[04:06:09] Now I know I'm just a bird I ain't trying to feed
[04:06:13] Just wind it up, wind it up till I eat
[04:06:15] Project wrong, feel at home, got the juice many made
[04:06:18] I'm calling a game in its face, soon it slim, hit it jade
[04:06:21] When it gave my people wrong, won't be long until we all see it
[04:06:24] Now I'm selling stage, it right off what I do
[04:06:27] I know they can't take off how I move
[04:06:29] I still ain't get a right off on your junior shift
[04:06:31] I never even claim that we was cool
[04:06:33] Really I was just planted by the rules
[04:06:34] Still moving like I ain't got nothing to lose
[04:06:36] The whole store won't know until I show em'
[04:06:38] And that's why I just try and keep it smooth
[04:06:40] Then did all of my prying just to prove
[04:06:42] That I can make it all real without their news
[04:06:44] All I know is I can't meet from the door
[04:06:51] This is touch and then I know they want to go
[04:06:54] Now I know it's a world I ain't trying to feel
[04:06:58] Just burn it all, burn it all to like you feel
[04:07:14] I'll let the real test begin.
[04:07:26] Wapo's defense on lead this stage has been essentially impossible.
[04:07:32] Sharper give themselves a little buffer with four defensive rounds of their own for attack
[04:07:36] now onto the attack half they go.
[04:07:39] This will be the real test to see what their capabilities are against Weibo.
[04:07:45] They would know at the end of the day it's best to want to match that.
[04:07:49] That largely doesn't mean a whole lot, but in theory it would still be, I think, a big positive boost for Sharpa to win this game,
[04:07:57] taking more form ahead of finals that even if they were to then, they lose in finals to Weibo,
[04:08:04] that would most likely be a grand final and you're off to Osaka anyway.
[04:08:07] The way they're playing this stage, it's gonna be hard to envision who else can challenge Sharper Esport.
[04:08:12] It's one of either Alavade or Fury, potentially a Daystar.
[04:08:16] Right now, they're just looking ahead and shoulders above everyone else, and even in this game now,
[04:08:20] they're matching Weibo pretty nicely, but it's the next half.
[04:08:24] This next half, that's when we'll see if you can really silence Weibo.
[04:08:31] Yeah, I mean it feels like we've seen this a million times before.
[04:08:34] and yesterday a great illustration you can look competitive against Waybo but
[04:08:38] it's a whole different kettle of the fist to actually confirm the result and
[04:08:42] walk away with points so been good from Sharper so far but this is going to be
[04:08:46] the real test of attacking into a Waybo outfit that I'm not going to take any
[04:08:50] prisoners and overall I think we're pretty switched on in terms of game
[04:08:55] plan which is Sharper a little more refined a couple of instances and
[04:08:58] finding win conditions where Waybo got a little caught out so I'm very
[04:09:02] very intrigued to see how that Denimic does potentially develop here in the second half
[04:09:06] in terms of bands, played bandit, snake and grim. Maybe they're trying to take away a
[04:09:12] little bit of that work potential, sharper looking to alleviate pressure when it comes
[04:09:19] to hard breach. Might appear for Weibo, it looks very standard, I mean it does for
[04:09:23] both teams. Weibo looking to play into the Chanka, Smoke, double stall out for
[04:09:27] the default. Also double nitro which can be hugely info when she'll receive maybe
[04:09:32] they try and introduce a vertical element like they did last night especially
[04:09:36] with those nitro cells they might have the license to go down play below of
[04:09:40] course he's on the warden so he's probably best situated on site. The
[04:09:45] the basing side of Sharpa lineups looking pretty pretty simple bringing the
[04:09:48] basics this round. The blackbeard in play though it's going to be interesting to see if like
[04:09:53] collars can get value from that shield and whether or not Sharpa'd look to
[04:09:57] push to ultimately for a default upside or if they go for R6 in there both
[04:10:03] options are pretty viable with this lineup. And the way that Waybo is gonna set up
[04:10:07] and play I think a lot in this half similar to yesterday which is we're
[04:10:11] gonna play this for a high level of default and you've got to beat us we're
[04:10:17] not gonna give you much I'm not gonna roam around excessively certainly on
[04:10:20] hot floor when you don't need to. I'm already halfway through this round, Sharpa. Look, they've got
[04:10:28] one in towards Ops for Lycolus. This looks pretty default from them as well. I'll eventually try
[04:10:33] to get this Selma to open up Mask. That does it work though. They are actually then running out
[04:10:38] of ideas as to how to crack this top floor. I think this side in particular is going to give
[04:10:44] Sharpa the most trouble. Wapo played this so well. It is going to take place like that.
[04:10:53] Swing a window, can you hit a good headshot? Then from there maybe look to expose the position
[04:10:59] that gets opened up. Double Nitro, still three gas babes, Shamika launcher and only 50 seconds.
[04:11:07] That's a lot of utility with little time remaining for Sharpa. They need to pick up the pace.
[04:11:11] Yeah, they do. Pace is going to be critical in this half. So many good moving pieces still
[04:11:19] for Wave, double night show, should make the launcher firing, double smoke. This is perfectly
[04:11:24] playing into the hands of the defense. Flash thrown at Reeves, he throws a knife
[04:11:29] to sell back at an AP, but he had already, he's way, well it's really away from the
[04:11:35] window. And as like all of us, Khrtche have already fallen, and with little time
[04:11:40] remaining on the clock sharper haven't really given this much of an effort into
[04:11:46] display now for Napier. Essentially kind of running gum right now though for
[04:11:51] sharper if they got no time left in the round or they finally decided to give
[04:11:54] this one the old heave home just send it in and it's gotten quite close 2v2 time
[04:11:59] expires. It's kind of funny once you actually decide to give it a red-hot
[04:12:04] Crack things can actually go your way. They just left it too late
[04:12:11] Yeah, they did
[04:12:13] We'll see you about the time management for sharper ends up looking like over the course of this half
[04:12:17] It's definitely a concern. I have and the first round played pretty much perfectly into that time of the first kill
[04:12:24] What was 31 seconds remaining in the round you can trust that to the first half
[04:12:30] half. It was 203, 145, 135, 220, 201. The slowest was actually funnily enough the last round of
[04:12:41] the half. That was largely because Wabe was setting up for the kind of plant style, looking
[04:12:45] to leverage the glass, etc. That was at 55 seconds remaining, and they still had pretty
[04:12:50] much a decent chunk of breathing room still at the end of that round to get the plant
[04:12:55] down. So yeah, we'll see how that little storyline
[04:12:59] And as develop over the course of these next three rounds Sharper can look to pick up the
[04:13:04] pace.
[04:13:05] It's looking like they'll play Vert for the top down clear here with the ram.
[04:13:11] And yeah Shield play expected to be prevalent, it's like holes onto the blitz.
[04:13:18] Attackers must locate and defuse a bomb.
[04:13:22] Generate.
[04:13:39] They're actively running the same lineup weibo as Shafa did on base,
[04:13:42] but instead of the multi in the north, they go far more default with the smoke in the denari.
[04:13:48] There's a largely again be I think over overall a focus for Wayvo where
[04:13:55] Early top floor first floor presence and then the slow
[04:14:00] Heal back to site
[04:14:02] Look for then god you to hold blue stairs. I'm not expecting Wayvo to over invest in these positions
[04:14:08] They do this better than most where they'll find a pick and then they just all rotate back and they say that's good enough for us
[04:14:14] their ability to assess the situation is really good so there's that first
[04:14:18] pick that's actually in basement from speakeasy on to peeps and it's already a
[04:14:23] pretty heavy stack from chaffer in the basement watch weibo in the next 10
[04:14:27] seconds everyone's gonna probably be basement surely
[04:14:34] maybe not
[04:14:38] it's going searching oh my goodness that was insane I don't know how I didn't
[04:14:43] get that kill turd helps out from above, get the assistance required and the airchab saves
[04:14:49] the life of Reef, that was a crazy play.
[04:14:53] And then the last two who were kind of pressuring basement site and now left by themselves and
[04:14:59] with not really much of a way in, never mind, like all this double pistol kill, where's
[04:15:05] the gnar when you need it, shotgun out from Goddy, that was land, like all this is
[04:15:10] just not stopping.
[04:15:11] Maybe we might have to bring out the Norr.
[04:15:14] Oh, no.
[04:15:16] Well, Gotti does a good job in the end, and the Denari tripwire does have an impact.
[04:15:21] That got very interesting as, like, Hollis on the blitz, making a little triple play after Waybo
[04:15:27] decimated the majority of that attack on the first floor.
[04:15:32] You're in a row, and the warning signs are there now for Sharp, but we knew for a while coming into this second half,
[04:15:38] to be easy for them. Two rounds in have not quite been able to pass the test. They've been
[04:15:43] competitive in terms of two alive for Weibo, but those kills have all kind of been after the round
[04:15:51] was already sort of lost. Yeah, Weibo with a great assist on to Reeps. It was like Holos to find
[04:16:02] a pretty crazy multi in the round. Unfortunately though, Tripped over himself into the arms of
[04:16:10] Goddick, who was able to collect that kill courtesy of the Triplier initiating the share of break.
[04:16:16] So for full of the score line, Waybo do Waybo things and stabilizing the match pretty convincingly.
[04:16:22] This site though would be the biggest determining factor it feels like in terms of just
[04:16:26] absolutely driving the point home. A confident win here on this site and it starts to spell
[04:16:32] Disaster for Sharpa with clean rotation so I'm eager to see which team can stage out.
[04:16:39] The lan up here from Waipo is largely what you would expect.
[04:16:44] Kirao's intriguing though, I do wonder what the full process will be behind that and how they're trying to get value from that.
[04:16:49] They look not to play the warden but the solos is in effect.
[04:16:54] It could be useful above in terms of some of the stall out and probably playing into the
[04:17:01] wing kind of trying to drain that clock as quickly as possible, not as quickly as possible,
[04:17:05] but as much as possible.
[04:17:06] I've got as far to say as a good shot with that on the side, I don't think they can
[04:17:10] win this map.
[04:17:11] You're going to rotate immediately back up to the top floor, so you're looking
[04:17:16] again. It's then being almost a 6-4 scoreline to lose this round on Bunk's briefing. It's
[04:17:27] not a guarantee, there's every chance the shopper could maybe take the top floor but
[04:17:31] They'll be unlikely.
[04:17:48] I'll just go top floor and just play this almost as if it is like top floor except minus one.
[04:17:52] Now, Robin's not going to be able to do a lot from this first floor, but they're just again just posturing outside the site.
[04:17:57] I'm not electing to take the Monty up and maybe play with Lars and look to get a couple
[04:18:02] of kills.
[04:18:03] Weak in that top floor hold.
[04:18:04] I've been fighting for his life here which I can't bear is but I was going to say doing
[04:18:16] a decent job but a little greedy and BG man caught him out peeps as well to find Gotti
[04:18:21] Sharpa in a good position but they haven't cleared second floor.
[04:18:26] Reeps remains up here unchallenged. Getting the plant down even with the Monty is a high-risk play
[04:18:40] My colas got out got out does get away back way towards the bridge
[04:18:45] Sight vulnerable, but you do have Reeps on the solos
[04:18:49] I just sell available for turd on the tuber out
[04:18:51] The Sharpa playing it to counter-files.
[04:18:54] He's moved away from now looking to take top floor fight. They want to go straight back to the site.
[04:19:00] BG man still holding top green stairs. A pivotal round in the landscape of this match.
[04:19:06] His position still feels really sketchy for Sharpa. He should know exactly where the plank goes down.
[04:19:11] If he gets the angle, Sharpa won't be able to get the defuser planted. Let's see.
[04:19:16] The turtle does work.
[04:19:18] It looks, yeah, that should now open the post plant B sharpers as like all the states alive even a one HP
[04:19:26] That's still an extended Monty shield up in the post plant for sharper dead though
[04:19:30] Reaps using one of his impacts to help get rid of the Monty turn
[04:19:34] There's one outside here gets the kill on to nape you moving with some good pace down in the post plan as BG man
[04:19:41] Nikesal thrown at his location but gets away as Chrisjade falls on the glass
[04:19:47] BG man what a headshot onto Reeps and knows that's her will push down green
[04:19:52] stairs missed the first shot you don't want to give third a second chance
[04:19:56] though misses the second shot he gets a third chance but time has already
[04:20:01] expired BG man wins the 1v1 anyway sharp they go 5-4 up yeah that was nice
[04:20:07] Look, I was shocked that they were able to get that plant down a little bit of misplaced
[04:20:12] utility there from the Tachanka, the turtle protection of the shield meant that Reeps couldn't
[04:20:16] shoot directly for the clean denial.
[04:20:19] And so Sharpa were able to work the plant.
[04:20:21] That's courtesy of like Hollis's good work there on said shield.
[04:20:25] Maybe I fought back pretty nicely there in the post.
[04:20:28] Some really good reads from Turd.
[04:20:30] The BG man did just enough from that green position to pluck that first kill whilst
[04:20:35] Turd wasn't in position to find the straight trade and played Ring of Ring of Roselyner
[04:20:40] so it didn't matter if you won the fight or not. He had drained enough time of the post
[04:20:44] to prevent Turd from getting back on for the counter defuse. Big round win for Sharpa. They
[04:20:52] felt like a must win from the context of the match and that rotation. Such a good
[04:20:58] win in fact it prompts attack timeout for Wabo.
[04:21:05] I wonder what really the discussion is for Wabo here, whether it's strategy or not, because
[04:21:10] you're going back to the top floor they won't have to overthink too much. I think it's more
[04:21:14] the overall landscape of the match and sort of the way that JARP are playing. It's
[04:21:19] been a heavy emphasis on shields, Blackbeard, Blitz, Monty. Do they think about bringing
[04:21:24] at the north. Do they think that might be helpful for them in the next couple of rounds?
[04:21:30] At least for Sharpa, by winning that round now they get to 5. They don't need to win top floor
[04:21:36] now either so they get kind of a free punch at this top floor site. Win it and you've guaranteed
[04:21:42] at least OT and have a really solid chance then to win the game outright. Lose it and then
[04:21:47] it's likely just 5-5 and they need to get one more away from the top floor.
[04:21:54] Yeah, solid work there, overall from Sharpa.
[04:22:08] Let's see though if they can roll that forward into the other sites because just being able
[04:22:11] to win out dorms is going to put them in a precarious position and it won't be enough
[04:22:17] to be able to secure the win, of course, because of that saying, in a regulation.
[04:22:21] Let's see the Clash in play now from the side of Wayboat.
[04:22:28] Maybe something they discussed over the course of the time out.
[04:22:31] It'll be a pretty useful tool into how to shield play here.
[04:22:35] I don't think they're going to be the kind of team that will be eager to play the
[04:22:39] North.
[04:22:40] Just probably a little bit too restrictive and too high risk with the Launcher having
[04:22:44] to be pulled out.
[04:22:45] But the Clash is a little more versatile, a little safe, speak easy, can still
[04:22:48] continue to try and be proactive with that utility.
[04:22:51] I mean just to see how Locals looks to pivot into this because going head-on into the clash
[04:22:57] is never fun.
[04:22:58] Huh, it's not.
[04:22:59] Usually I'd agree as well in terms of the nor, but after what we saw and how it was used
[04:23:05] in that first half, I don't know, it does have the place in the game as Turd though
[04:23:09] finds a very early kill on Peeps.
[04:23:11] It was like it's being turd versus Peeps in this match as well as almost a little
[04:23:16] micro battle.
[04:23:17] And Turds very much had the better, 14 and 4 now.
[04:23:23] Early advantage for Wayboot.
[04:23:33] Deathmite though from Napier as he is on the hunt for Turd.
[04:23:37] He was just below half health.
[04:23:39] Napier is as well.
[04:23:41] In the end, Critchey backs him up and they do get the clear.
[04:23:45] That's a big kill.
[04:23:46] All versus four, so you equal the numbers, but you deal with the one and only player
[04:23:51] that's offside and with Waybo's best player in turn. If Sharper a better chance
[04:23:56] now in this 10th round.
[04:24:01] In midpoint, about to eclipse some repositioning to take place then from
[04:24:06] Waybo to better posture for the final push here. From Sharper they look to
[04:24:10] formulate over towards the Skybridge at the moment, so the route likely to
[04:24:14] then end R6. I think Wabove started to clue into this though. There is at least some split
[04:24:24] pressure off with BG Opps to keep this one a little bit unpredictable. There's Mark
[04:24:28] Below speaking as he's trying to scatter around and stay alive, does a good job. Find safety.
[04:24:35] It's a good counterplay from Flash. And so good in fact, Hoven is able to react
[04:24:42] invited by the snappy kill back. That is an opportunity for Napier to look back at that
[04:24:47] and reflect against a quality outfit like Wayboat. They're going to expose you and they
[04:24:52] do on Q.
[04:24:53] They have 2 and 10 as well for Napier all the timing though from Holvun while you gotta
[04:24:58] be careful when you turn your back and Crit J will punish him.
[04:25:02] Jash has the ultimate test now into the site and with 30 seconds remaining they're
[04:25:09] They're starting to run a little long on time, but speak easy, dead.
[04:25:12] Killed will remain up, but now...
[04:25:15] Shotgun from Gotti.
[04:25:17] The airchap though to displace him and for White, but Reeps is helping him out massively!
[04:25:22] Double kill from Reeps!
[04:25:25] As like Callous is the solo left for Sharpa.
[04:25:28] For what looked like maybe an exposed site and an opportunity to take that top floor, it goes begging for Sharpa Reeps' forces.
[04:25:35] This game's tied, 5-5.
[04:25:37] The match that's living up to the billing to close out play date five
[04:25:43] All tied heading into the 11th round. That's the Reeps effects
[04:25:51] Chopper tack time out it felt like they were so close to being able to secure a point against Wayboat
[04:26:00] Reeps did reach things
[04:26:02] He wanted to his credit as well whilst not netting the kills there at the end.
[04:26:06] He did a phenomenal job to ensure that he stayed alive as well and aided them in the reaps.
[04:26:11] So he also deserves the plaudits in that round and doing some good anchor work and valuing
[04:26:15] his life.
[04:26:16] And they were cooking that round sharper but again, good example of if you don't put
[04:26:23] reaps on a leash and take control of the situation they late round and give him a
[04:26:27] little bit of freedom.
[04:26:28] give reaps an inch takes a mile time and time again and that's a quick reminder
[04:26:33] for Sharpa that they'll be kept honest here high five school line break point
[04:26:37] up next been yeah good tossing between these two so far but we both are looking
[04:26:43] for all three points we play package of that 10th and I love this little bait
[04:26:48] in onto Navery that was a big moment in the round Hoggin got caught on his
[04:26:53] rotation speak easy as well as well isolated by BG man on the pinch
[04:26:57] that it was vreets to just do so much damage at the end, good reaction to the BG, split,
[04:27:04] and then Gotti reeled them in there for the final two, so solid work from him, and it's
[04:27:12] way more down to basement.
[04:27:16] The good news for Sharper is that at least they don't have to contend top floor again.
[04:27:26] I've already won Bunk's briefing, so if you win this it puts Wavo in an awkward
[04:27:32] position of either having to repeat a site in which they've lost both at that
[04:27:36] point. So this is a crucial round for both teams. I call us onto the Blitz. He's
[04:27:46] just been cycling through the shield operators in this half.
[04:27:51] Actually been a pretty good game from BG Man and peeps both up to 10 kills.
[04:27:59] Of course had a good impact triple kill play earlier on in the half but didn't net the round
[04:28:04] win.
[04:28:06] And playing all the round, the map in this round for Waybo top floor, first floor and
[04:28:13] basement.
[04:28:14] All three levels actively defended.
[04:28:16] It's going to be quick from SharpBot.
[04:28:23] Potentially straight through Lockers here.
[04:28:27] It's a fairly dispersed defence at the moment from Waybo.
[04:28:31] It's just two players' basement at the moment.
[04:28:33] There is a bit of stall out there from SharpBot so they can't go just yet.
[04:28:38] That's going to open an opportunity for Waybo to redirect and reposition.
[04:28:42] As they start to clue into what might be on offer here.
[04:28:47] Good J as well, inside of staff is shotgun, okay.
[04:28:52] I don't mind this idea from Sharpa, but if they don't hit the go button now, Weibo
[04:28:59] are going to be able to reposition pretty effectively, I think.
[04:29:03] Also Fert in play as well if that's not contested.
[04:29:06] And that is not a good start.
[04:29:09] And they're losing the Blitz this early in the round, still a minute 20 feet.
[04:29:17] That's rough for Sharper, they're going to find a different avenue.
[04:29:20] And Critche on the sledge but he's sitting in stock.
[04:29:23] So they're not even really able to utilize first floor advantage and get vert and play
[04:29:27] off the sledge.
[04:29:28] You've lost your Blitz.
[04:29:29] A lot of the attacking shape of Sharper in this round has just gone out the window.
[04:29:34] And I wonder if in this final minute now they're just going to play this and just
[04:29:38] hope that they can hit some shots that's literally going to be their strategy and
[04:29:42] they won't be doing doesn't hit a shot there
[04:29:44] in for speak easy body will get ready to create Jay and it's falling apart for
[04:29:48] sharpie here in basement to give way by six five
[04:29:51] Napier hits an all-important timely shot onto turd people need to get his
[04:29:56] next kill tries to bait out body body doesn't swing he's a bloom and in
[04:30:04] In the end he swings off the contact of the utility, alone in APU left, 1 vs 4 against
[04:30:13] most teams maybe you'd give him a chance and not against Wayboat, not with this time on
[04:30:18] the clock.
[04:30:19] They will get to 6-5, but Schupper will get their chance on Bunk's briefing to send
[04:30:25] this to overtime.
[04:30:26] This game's not done yet, but Wayboat have got now match point.
[04:30:31] Yeah, Sharper's attack last time dawns was quite convincing. It was pretty strong. There were a couple of errors though made by Waybo with their inability to deny the Monty Turtles.
[04:30:41] So I think both teams will have that front of mind heading into this round. Sharper might go for a bit of a different set play like Hall's shot called that.
[04:30:50] And then on the opposing side for Waybo, it's probably going to be a very similar composition. Maybe they consider also playing the Warden as well.
[04:30:58] and then it's going to be about just ensuring they're better refined in having a means to deny
[04:31:05] that plant or making it far more challenging at foresharp but to put themselves in a
[04:31:11] plantable position. So they actually drop souls entirely, pivot into the warden
[04:31:18] solely instead. That could make
[04:31:21] the turtle a little bit harder to go for if there's clear of vision on that plant. So I quite like that decision
[04:31:27] from the side of Weibo.
[04:31:30] Japarro are investing pretty heavily into what seems to be the glass and the,
[04:31:35] I was going to say the In combo, but they switched out and that would have been quite risky
[04:31:39] into Speakeasy. So instead they opt for the Twitch looking to deal with Util and the Nomad as well,
[04:31:47] which will help significantly when it comes to cutting off rotation back towards the objective,
[04:31:54] we'll either taking some map space as well that should make the post a little more difficult
[04:31:59] if that's its primary usage so yeah it's all set to be big round here and it's going to be
[04:32:07] interesting can wabby walk away with all three or we'll sharp up be able to push ot
[04:32:10] I've been killing this entire half has been converted.
[04:32:22] It's been largely dominated by a way vote.
[04:32:24] In fact, they've got five of the last six opening kills in this game to go with four
[04:32:31] of the last five round wins in this game.
[04:32:36] I think regardless of what happens from here.
[04:32:39] This is what we wanted. Really competitive match. Sharper showing that this team has very much leveled up since stage one and that they're going to be hard to beat for at least the second slot and will give Wayvo a romp their money for the first slot.
[04:32:55] They're not giving up on this match just yet. It is going to be reliant on Leicotlus not dying as he enters in towards Fung's briefing. It's be easy with the OP kill on to Peeps.
[04:33:05] There's a couple of times in this half now on the attack that peeps has been first down.
[04:33:10] That's not what you need for one of your top players.
[04:33:16] Yeah, that's gonna hurt.
[04:33:18] Put Swaybo in a commanding position.
[04:33:23] Smokes to be layered but speak easy with glasses to counter.
[04:33:27] Could Jason with two smokes in pocket so to BG man so to Napier so the classic
[04:33:33] could be really really effective in helping clear out the site and offering
[04:33:38] a plan of a position but Turd finds a second in the round to the way boat.
[04:33:42] It's looking grim, the goal was taken low as well to the sky bridge and so they've lost all of this green
[04:33:48] control this is just way boat putting the foot down. Turd shot down at 16
[04:33:55] and seven. Look a little bit of time for the 2v4. I've pressed to imagine that
[04:34:03] Sharper will be able to bring this round back. It's been such a rough game for
[04:34:06] Napier. So many assists but so little kills. Kills are what are required in
[04:34:11] this round now and 35 seconds doesn't leave them a lot of time. PG man finds
[04:34:16] his 12 with that pick on to reach it's only 2v3 with 30 seconds. Yeah gonna
[04:34:23] tough to end to site Hovind still to lock it down 20 seconds and Hovind picking up
[04:34:30] Napier means that BT man needs the ace and he knows that at this point Waybo
[04:34:36] can play the drop as well. Not close with the shotgun, Speakeasy will swing
[04:34:41] and put an end to this game. Highly competitive, a little tune-up before
[04:34:46] finals for both of these two but it's Waybo that will remain undefeated.
[04:34:51] It was a solid match. I think way better we tested in a few areas sharper looked good
[04:34:58] In a handful of those rounds out playing genuinely way both at ultimately way better, but just true good
[04:35:04] In the end a little bit too much in the tank. It's a story
[04:35:08] I feel like we've seen and repeated a thousand times
[04:35:11] But a testament to just how great this team is even when they're going does get a little challenging a little tough
[04:35:18] able to get the job done and you sort of compound that with yesterday where on this same very map
[04:35:24] of where they were tested they were able to push through I think that's a good reflection of their
[04:35:27] character. Yeah that's the takeaway for me at the end of the day winning such losing this game
[04:35:34] largely irrelevant but needing it to be competitive probably more for the sake of Sharpa that
[04:35:41] matters a lot more I think they could walk away from this week pretty happy and walk away
[04:35:44] up to this point in the stage, pretty happy, look they're not going to be overly happy to lose,
[04:35:49] but I think anytime you can get Waybo to that sort of 7-5 scoreline and in a different fashion to
[04:35:55] the game we saw yesterday, I mean that was a very very different kind of day for Waybo. This
[04:36:00] they were tested, Turd was sensational 16 and 7, the clear standout and for Sharper Esports again
[04:36:08] key takeaways for me is that they were competitive, had a very good first half and this was a
[04:36:12] map as well. That Waybo have played now four days straight and they got this to a 7-5.
[04:36:19] The Waybo have been well prepared on Lair and Sharpa were still ultra competitive. So a really
[04:36:24] good tussle between the two teams that are the one and the two seed ahead of Finals. Don't forget
[04:36:28] for Asia there are two slots for the Asaka Major. So for Sharpa eSports they're fine tuned
[04:36:34] still for a run towards the Major. Well our interview with the winner is ready. Let's
[04:36:41] bringing me in, Hoven from the side of Waybo. How are you mate? Good to see you, congratulations.
[04:36:47] On the win today, how does it feel to take down Sharpa, who heading into today were obviously
[04:36:52] equal and you in terms of the settings? Yeah, it feels good. They're like really good since
[04:36:59] they add A9. So yeah, it feels competitive tonight. Hoven, I have to ask you yesterday though,
[04:37:06] you got live during apparently in that first half and things didn't go your way. Talk us
[04:37:10] through that. It's just early. Done. Never listen. Never listen.
[04:37:19] One thing actually to note, Jake was mentioning at the end of the match is you guys have played
[04:37:25] a lot of Lair now. That's three appearances straight. You guys wanted to get a bit sick
[04:37:31] of this match, of this map? No, it was three.
[04:37:35] We are practicing there for the international tournament.
[04:37:39] So yeah, we're going to play for maybe.
[04:37:44] Hovind, obviously so far the stage has gone perfect.
[04:37:47] Clint Sweet 5-0, we know how good you guys have been
[04:37:51] throughout the APAC region for many years now.
[04:37:54] How do you kind of keep yourself in this frame of mind
[04:37:57] where yeah, you guys know that Asaka's the clear goal
[04:38:00] and performing well at Asaka's the clear goal,
[04:38:03] but also staying grounded with finals and things that can happen.
[04:38:07] What's the mentality of the team?
[04:38:08] Is it just day by day, just creating the games as if it's a big game every week,
[04:38:13] or do you find ways to relax?
[04:38:17] Yep.
[04:38:18] So, just play day by day, run by run, second, yeah.
[04:38:25] What about Asaka though, if you get there, is that a little bit different?
[04:38:29] Nah, it's gonna be the same.
[04:38:30] That's the right answer.
[04:38:33] Holven, any shoutouts?
[04:38:35] Yep, thanks for supporting us.
[04:38:38] Thanks to the casters and the staff.
[04:38:40] See you guys next week.
[04:38:43] What about thanks to Turd?
[04:38:45] Oh yeah, right.
[04:38:46] Happy birthday to Mark.
[04:38:48] What about happy birthday as well?
[04:38:50] Happy birthday, Martin.
[04:38:52] Thank you.
[04:38:55] All right, thank you so much.
[04:38:57] Best of luck next week.
[04:39:01] So in the end, it was the game that
[04:39:03] lived up to the building, which is always good.
[04:39:04] Sometimes we don't get that, aka what we had in Oce earlier
[04:39:08] this week with EP and Sheaves.
[04:39:10] This one, at least, was competitive.
[04:39:12] 7-5, Sharper showed that they can mix it with Webo.
[04:39:15] They're in that realm.
[04:39:16] And it's the kind of game that, when it's a 7-5,
[04:39:19] it comes down to little moments, you know?
[04:39:21] Like, Hollis dying early or Pep struggling a little bit
[04:39:23] that second half and being the opening death when he's such a pivotal player. I work on the little
[04:39:29] things and I'm sure they'll want to give Waybo a red hot crack over in finals. Let's go to our MVP
[04:39:34] for the day which I'm going to spoil it. It's Tolgy. He was sensational. No, I'm joking. It was
[04:39:40] N-high, Cal. We lost this one in immediately. For those that missed it, of course, Elevate in a
[04:39:45] four versus five, that's right, from rounds one all the way through to round eight. They played
[04:39:50] out as a four versus five. Told you having some computer issues and Enhaekel, he wasn't messing around.
[04:39:57] He was phenomenal. I believe by the end of it was close to like a 200 EPS and he was the reason why
[04:40:04] quite literally Elevate were able to win this in a 7-1 fashion. He was aggressive, he was taking
[04:40:09] entry battles. He wasn't baiting like he was first in and he was ready to be the one to get
[04:40:14] Elevate in the winning book by the end of this game and I thought they were gonna win
[04:40:18] to win the 7-0 at the back of this round as well from N-HighCold, but in the end it was
[04:40:22] Sunstrike that kind of stole that round.
[04:40:25] Yeah, look he was playing like at least two, if not three people inside of the server today.
[04:40:32] It was that huge of a performance and even just the sheer unusual nature of the match
[04:40:38] playing quite literally with one player down.
[04:40:41] It was phenomenal from him and excited to see if that's the kind of form that
[04:40:45] we can expect from an high code going forward.
[04:40:48] So 7-4 fury over F5 earlier today.
[04:40:51] That was a very fun match as well,
[04:40:53] because with a lot on the line in terms of finals,
[04:40:55] that's now put fury into the top four.
[04:40:57] Elevate the 7-1 as we've kind of touched on.
[04:41:00] What an old timer.
[04:41:02] Daystar, way too good for triple mind.
[04:41:04] Bounce back in form for them.
[04:41:06] And then our build match of the day,
[04:41:08] Wayboe Sharper lived up to the very high expectations.
[04:41:13] In the end, it got to 5-5.
[04:41:14] it was close and Sharpa did some really really good things certainly on the defensive side but Waybo
[04:41:20] as expected on their defensive side were very very strong and hard to beat. We'll go to the
[04:41:25] standings after now five playdays with only two remaining. Madaev next week for playday six
[04:41:31] and then seven. It's Waybo that have now also confirmed their place in finals with 15 points
[04:41:37] they cannot be overtaken. Sharpa are probably there as well with the way that the standings
[04:41:41] to the top four. They start
[04:41:45] just on the horizon at five.
[04:41:47] We'll need a lot to go their
[04:41:49] way in the final two play days,
[04:41:51] but with games against Sharper
[04:41:53] and elevate, I think their dream
[04:41:55] run slowly will come to an end.
[04:41:57] Yeah, I think the key take away
[04:41:59] from me is probably way,
[04:42:01] but it's another flawless run
[04:42:03] for them up until this point.
[04:42:05] And if they are to go on and
[04:42:07] have the perfect seven
[04:42:09] perfect 7000 record in this second stage. It would be 14000 for the year excluding kickoff.
[04:42:18] So that would be a massive feat for them. And honestly, it feels like it's inevitable. So
[04:42:24] they're looking as good as ever. Well, the next region up next usually guys would be waking up
[04:42:29] at this time to go work at AL begins in four hours. Fortunately, we're not on today because
[04:42:35] Otherwise it'd be a very, very long day.
[04:42:37] But of course North America has been a lot of fun as well for stage to this year.
[04:42:43] So if you're not probably in Oce or within the APAC region, make sure you
[04:42:49] stick around in the four hours time, come back and enjoy some NSH.
[04:42:53] Yeah, for sure.
[04:42:53] I'm having a look at the standings.
[04:42:54] M80 still 0 and 3.
[04:42:56] They're in ninth position in the standings in N.A.
[04:42:59] Of course, make it through for the playoffs there.
[04:43:02] And they're still a distance away from making it.
[04:43:04] So that's a big story land out of North America and cloud nine probably enough on the flip
[04:43:08] So actually three zero, which is kind of crazy looking those results. It's been pretty stacked in NA. It's been really good
[04:43:13] All right
[04:43:14] We're done for the day here for play day five of Asia next week, though
[04:43:17] You're going to have a lot to watch when it comes to the a pack region
[04:43:22] Certainly when it comes to Asia with so much still on the line in terms of that race for finals
[04:43:27] Thanks everyone for joining us today
[04:43:28] It's been an absolute pleasure.
[04:43:30] Shout out again to our wonderful producer, Alex Skarmakalm,
[04:43:33] along with the rest of the team,
[04:43:34] back working behind the scenes, doing a great job,
[04:43:37] as always, to make this the best CS show there is.

[04:46:42] I'm a guitar ride to be right
[04:46:46] Cause I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I
[04:46:52] I'm afraid I might disappear
[04:46:58] To make these stages fine
[04:47:04] I like it, I go la la la la la
[04:47:07] I like it, I just love, love, love
[04:47:10] I like to stay, stay, stay, stay
[04:47:14] And take it from me, stay, stay
[04:47:17] Cause I love, love, love, love
[04:47:20] I like it, I just love, love, love
[04:47:23] I like to talk, I like to be right
[04:47:27] Cause I'm in love, in love, in love
[04:47:37] I
[04:49:07] 散ってく人の波 預きる日先に 儚く揺れる光
[04:49:15] 溶けてく夜明けに 声が最後な願いね
[04:49:23] 僕はそれもいいから みんな無いものでないね
[04:49:31] The lost voice, the town's born.
[04:49:35] The people who are far away from the pictures that are engraved.
[04:49:39] Even the distance between us is sweet.
[04:49:42] No matter how little, I'll let you know this world.
[04:49:49] I'm going to melt away.
[04:49:52] This is the last wish.
