Thank you very much for your support.
You're a sucker major, Takuyaki Crunch. Taste the excitement.
Hey, I'll see you again.
I'll see you in Osaka.
I will not let you go.
The war has ended.
The mountain that was meant to climb,
now, has reached its end.
And our path continues here.
as we approach the halfway point for APAC North. A new playday is upon us as these teams
from Japan and Korea look for their next chance to take one step closer to the soccer
major. I'm Dev and Pengu. The APL is well underway. We're almost actually at the end
of the group stage already. We're flying through it honestly and there's been a couple of surprises
and expected outcomes, etc. It's the classic usual APL where you never know what's going
have been even though half of what happened, as you do actually know, still confusing.
It's been drama central for the entire tournament so far here in APL. Let's cast our minds back to
some of the shenanigans that happened in age with our feature round that we had just the other
night. This was a crazy game, of course. Dolphin eSports, formerly HLT, not a favorite team in
the tournament, Tengu, but they were losing despite playing 5 vs 4 while Tolji from Elevate was unable
to connect to the server and they were about to get 7-0ed when this happened.
That's right, you're clutching, you're trolling, what's the grenade here in just a second, okay?
He's got the 1v1, he's gonna look down the turret, force, missed a punch off the plant right here,
successful, gives off the angle, now what's the grenade, okay? He does have to go forward,
but he wants to. But you said it's gonna roll right behind his feet and it's about to explode and
and actually killing him, but he gets the pistol kill half a second before they can explode,
therefore winning the round instead of losing it.
Bro, that would have been the most insane moment ever if he had naded himself in the,
essentially, 3-1-v-1, I mean, we can say on the timer, but there was actually no more time to fake it there from the defender.
So, as long as Sunstrike could line up a shot with the pistol, that's his win, but no, the nade couldn't have stolen it away.
It ended up as a 7-1 anyway for those who missed that game.
Phenomenal hilarious matchup.
I'd surely never seen anything like it if you guys want to go back and watch that.
Check it out on the R66 Sports YouTube or Twitch channels.
But, of course, here at the standing, it's not in Asia, but in APAC North,
as we stand going into play number four.
Also, look at CD, by the way. They're doing what we call the Wave of Special.
They have won 21 rounds and they have lost four.
They've played three full matches.
They're losing just over one round per game on average.
They are right now on like a hot streak, man. No one can seem to stop them.
Yeah, and they'll be playing against Knight though. It will be a tough game against Skars.
That's our third match of the night. I would say probably one of the most anticipated games tonight.
But to be frank, we are starting to see a bit of a top four bottom four form at the moment in
APAC North. And you're coming into this stage, there was a bit of a question. The battle in
stage one between the top four and the bottom four was we have five teams that are kind of competing
for the top four and Thierrex, KineTrope and Scars tend to be the ones that are battling
it out to try and find that fourth spot. And at the moment, KineTrope are winless. So this
game against CYBME is going to be really important. Let's talk about the Can You Be My Enemy roster.
The newest team to join the league, of course, they came through the Challenger series, started
this year, promoted up from tier two. And they unfortunately haven't had a great run
all year long.
Yeah, I was gonna say when you mentioned how she is about winners you could a secret saying and their opponent and can you be my enemy?
They are also winners. They have not won a single game all year long. That's right. They haven't for these guys
It's literally about getting a win on the board and it's crazy to say that they're up against an even opponent in terms of the current system
Because here's short they should have points their phenomenal team
What a great last stage who should have had the great states of foreign states, too
But they've fallen short old time losses. So for can you be mine to me?
I mean I don't expect much from them. I would just like to see them get slowly better and better and better every single playday
One of the only issues is that the previous pitted for them. He actually face against double RX
So the highlights right here in the screen that should have been the moment where they could have gotten some points
But they lost the game this one
Yeah, unfortunately, that's kind of where you put your target like I've got double RX coming up
Maybe there's a chance but no it means it's gonna be really hard from here on out
I think you know arguably the only game that CYBME might be in for a solo chance might be against Trippie because yet Trippie
are actually looking extra rough in this stage even more so than the last but yeah
Just to really drive the point home. Thank you. I look back CYBME had not only not won a game this year
They haven't even won a map of the BO3s that we played in kickoff
So they actually haven't won a single match in tier one
Throughout their entire career and none of these players have ever played for any other teams in tier one as well
So it's been yeah a bit of a sad story for CYBME after the elation of making it to tier one through the Challenger series
They are still looking for their first win
but anything is possible and of course sometimes the top teams do get upset and we've seen that with KineTropes so far
They've had two games and arguably should have been winnable pink and we hyped the hell out of KineTropes in stage one
They came third place just behind D plus and CAG
even beating out Skars when it mattered the most but in the last couple of weeks
they've lost to Skars, lost to DK and even lost been reversed swept by BNK, Firx
who they beat in stage one so it's a really tough spot to be in. 6-8 BNK
Firx, 6-8 loss also against Skars again very very close matches, the deep loss
given the different story but while they haven't gotten the best results I will
see how they played the games and how excited they've been to watch. They still
have that flair to Nasa Roster, they still are the team that plays the most maestro
in the world. Look right here, DiploSkiya banned maestro against KinoTrope, Skars also
banned maestro, they played before this one against KinoTrope. They've been target banned,
right now KinoTrope are arguing their defense, innovating a new style of Rainbow Six Siege
and it's working very successfully. But when that one operative maestro gets banned away,
their win rate also plummets. So it feels like they have found themselves one playstyle
with high success rate, but outside of that, they're missing some of that magic.
Yeah, and a lot of the credit to the rise in stage one was the performance of Gatorada
and Iigata, the former C.A.G. players. Of course, we can also credit, like you said,
the exciting innovations that we see out of them, the Maestro play, some weird choices
of reinforcements. I'm thinking on Clubhouse, which we've got to see them play a couple of
times. They like to reinforce where most people put a roadside on the gym bombsite between gym
in the bedroom. Instead, they'll put a reinforcement, they'll have someone climb up onto the weights
and then sit hard in that corner with the mind and protect it. It's really cool that
they have so many cool ideas. And yet it just seemed to be figured out so far because, as
you said, you have two close losses and then most critically, domination from D plus last
week, these guys got seven or two. So we'll see if KineTrope can finally get their first
win on the board. This is the best chance they will have if they lose here to CYB and
I mean, it would turn their stage into an utter embarrassment and probably mean that they can't make it to stage final.
So let's have a look at the video. It's Lera Bank.
We're going to Lera, Kino getting the last choice. Interesting to see Clubhouse was left in.
That is a good Kino trope, not despite them losing it to Skars.
But CYBME decided not to go to Clubhouse. So Lera is where we go.
Also, Kino trope themselves are he bending away Shelly and Night Haven, which are two of the three maps that they lost on.
get a clubhouse like you mentioned. So I feel like for KineTrope the mission was either we get clubhouse
or we get a new map. Something else we can play that we haven't lost on just yet where our confidence
is in shot or we haven't shown our strategy. And to be fair I think against Kenny B my enemy you
probably could have gone back to any maps that you've already lost on because it is a much weaker
opponent but I think for KineTrope it's not building your depth and building your strategy for the
future games to come. Yeah I look to flip the story for CYB and E for a second when talking about
the operator bands, oh sorry, map bands. Look at the clubhouse band, right? I mentioned that that's
a good map for Kino. It's also the only map that CYBME have actually played so far. They played
clubhouse against SCARS, they lost at 7-1, they played clubhouse against D+, they lost at 7-3,
and then they played clubhouse against double RX who, like we've said, is probably the opponent
that we would expect them to have the best result against, and they lost that game 7-4.
I guess fourth time is not the charm for CYB and me. They're really happy to ban out clubhouse finally
But yeah, you look at their campaign for the rest of stage to pingu
It's kina trope tonight tag coming up and then trippy and then being kfurex
Realistically and less of one of those teams has a really bad day
It's probably only trippy that they would have a chance against kina trope
I mean if CYB and me are able to take down kina trope that would be such a big surprise
It would be a huge upset. Kino with a top three team in stage one and
CYB and me are yet to find a lap when you have to really have any close games at all
So it would be a huge upset and I think that really puts a little bit extra pressure
Onto the Kino trap cab just because of how their last three games have gone
I mean the plan is pretty sure but also you must be a little bit confused right now if you're a player because so many things
We're starting to go well in the first stage and we're all expecting that kind of momentum and that performance to carry over into the second stage
and it hasn't. Sometimes it's because you play the strong tunes first, you know, reverse
her buggy in your theorist, bad map video, you just play it bad on the game and who knows?
But my point is that when things then are not going very well, despite you trying to
replicate the exact same things in the server, you can start now changing your play style
without really meaning to. Because it's very natural for a player to, okay, you've done
this play like 10 times in a row in portic, 9 of those 10, it failed, it did not work
out any favor, you're gonna make a different play now. And when you start changing these
small things because your confidence is being shot, your team is might not be aware that
you're doing something else. So all of a sudden, if you go off the paper because of those
bad results, you're putting a spanner in the works for your entire own team with the synodities,
the timings aren't going to be happening. So for Kino Trope, there's kind of two things
they can do right now. Stay with the system, stay with the strategy we've been doing so
far and just believe that it's going to work this time or if you're gonna go off
the paper need to very clearly communicate it so that you don't catch
your teammates by surprise and it come on gaps get lift open either on the attack
or the defense. We got a lair right so that's a map that KineTrap haven't
actually played recently I'm trying to look back maybe they played it in so they
can see they play it against Skars and against D plus and stage finals last
stage but we haven't seen it from them in the B01 so far. Of course Kino is
actually one of the only rosters in the league that didn't make any roster
stage, Queen stage one and stage two. They kept all the five players and I don't
blame them. I mean things were looking so good since they picked up Yanarata. The
only change that they made at all was actually on the staffing side. They kept
Okamesh as the main coach but they brought in Magnet as an analyst and we
haven't really had a chance to speak to Magnet very much since then. I mean of
Of course, unfortunately, we haven't had any wins in interviews with Kinatrop.
All if we do tonight, I would love to have a chat to Okamesh to see what he has to say about it.
But yeah, I do wonder how much bringing in Magnet with his experience, particularly recent successful
experience earlier this year at the Salt Lake City Major with Enterprise going deep to a top 8 performance.
What kind of a perspective he would bring to this team, especially because he has been living in Japan for,
Oh, I'm gonna say six years now and he's been competing in Japan for a number of those years with that old fanatic roster as well
So he does have a connection to this thing
No, it's entirely right
And it's also a shame because speaking to their opponents because of course they were the beaten and they would have been in this interview
We spoke to the coach of scars in Leo. We spoke to false with the plus
They were actually all praising Kino German saying that they believe they're one of the strongest teams right now in a packed north
and they were surprised as well at the results they've had with having so far.
All this has become about the fact that they're playing something very new in the maestro
and the fact that we have to ban it only against them is kind of insane actually.
It's something that's not unheard of but it is quite rare.
So on all the outside looking in points from us, from other players and coaches,
everyone's equally surprised about the current landscape of things.
Yeah, I mean the stage is still redeemable for them.
I think the stage finals top four would definitely be the goal for these guys.
even if you can't get top three top two or make the major, of course that'd be ideal.
But you know, top three in stage one does kind of set a benchmark. That's kind of the
the false sense of security that you can get into, right? Like when you get up placing and maybe
you're making gradual progress, one year 2025, you managed to break into the top four consistently.
And then in 2026, you manage a top three performance, you're like, okay, next let's go for top two,
and then we'll go top one and then eventually we can be a
the premier team in the region when you start to fall off when you start to go outside of those expectations and the benchmarks
That you've set for yourselves
That's when the cracks really start to form and look the recent form graph shows you everything that you need to know both of these teams
Desperate for a win both of these teams going to lair for the first time in stage two
I'm going to keep the number of bands, seeing if it's going to be a target band up against
Kinatrope, where it's taking me a bit of time.
Let them give it to me.
70% of round win rate when playing the Maisha for Akaiyo, that is why I always target band
away two times for both stars and from Kinatrope.
From D plus up against Kinatrope.
It's going to follow up with a Kaiyit band, from B and E, are they going to go for it?
Could be a band of Kaiyit.
It could be kite, Maestro could be a...
Yeah, what comes in as the third ban?
Yeah, except for D plus, they banned it on the second option.
And the crazy thing is, GenoJob actually banned the Brava as well in response,
so they both played into the exact same guessing game of what they thought was going to happen.
It was quite fun to watch.
May I be banned away? So not to be, maybe you're right.
There'll be a third option ban if it becomes a problem for them.
I guess on the side of BME, they haven't seen GenoJob play layer since the first time they played this stage,
As you said as well, so maybe they're not sure they're actually gonna bring it on this map because it could be a map dependent thing for the roster
I guess we'll find out
Sometimes it's bomb side to parent as well sometimes they like to not play it for a few rounds
Just so they can bring it out after the other operator bands have played like if they play three rounds here
They don't play it once like you often say with flash kind of in the reverse
like sometimes teams will stamp off the start of the game or spam onto the start of the game,
try and get it banned and then go and go for their plant B, whatever that is. In this case,
there's just so many good operators these days on both sides that you can never ban everything.
You've got to learn how to play against the good stuff. In this case, one of the real good things
that we've got from BME here is that Monty. What are King Troke going to do to deal with them?
We have a few traps in play. We've also got one of my favorite underrated
Monty characters and just shield counters in general
No shield one of my favorite underrated shield counts
Which is sentry with impacts and C4 because that's a hell of a lot of damage once you have the double explosions, but
This is the glaive sports
It's not bad
I thought it was gonna do a lot worse actually
That's insane. I mean, I don't even mind that even if the intention is just to deal up like one shot of damage
That's what?
67 damage there on the Sikingo for the rest of the rounds the Kingo is gonna be probably
Losing every single fair fifty gunfire with that much HP like one bullet from most of these guns instead
Think a lot of people is vision rain
They will go for a spawn pig do a lot of damage and then feel a bit like bother that they didn't get the kill
But mind you guys, doing over 50% of damage to any attacking operator in the beginning of the round
will significantly change their strength and how much confidence they have going for an entry fight.
Right now, Sikimbo, yeah, he's going zero, probably wasn't going to become the entry anyway
because he got the Monty and he got the Gretel, they can kind of go in first.
But now he is certainly not going to become any sort of entry player.
He's going to behave super super far back, super passive in the server.
And actually it's going to be...
Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!
I'm a pixel angle from far away and once upon to Monty this round is not to me from be me so far
We have two attackers Lord HP and no longer a Monty alive
Wow, that's a tilt
Yeah, I'm gonna say last little thing on the glaives one peak by the way
As unfortunately a battery
Stacked in the back last thing on the spawn peak from the glaive there is he was holding the angle where the piece of cover
That he was behind and the piece of cover that the opponent was behind
behind, we're opposite, which means that it's actually very hard for him to get re-peaked
back because of the way his angle picks out as the enemy picks.
It's like that old Serenity 17 video, I don't know if you remember that, the idea of holding
an angle that's too garry for either you or opponent to use and then you just peek on
the info from it, and it's really a safe way to spawn peek.
As I yapp about that, quite a bit of action has happened, sadly, Pengu, I was gonna make
point about the Thatcher getting shotgun which I think was so funny to see
Asma running shoddy. We get stabbed in the back with force in every one of them.
Unfortunately, yeah. I will say this though, there's no plan to now. There's no
Goyo smoke, there's just a single C4 left from the pocket, so it is taking a win if it will be in me.
But a lot of work is against them of course. They're getting flanked upstairs by a
coyote, they have two attackers to the low on HP. But by these bombs that door, but
walking on them, that's going to be the real challenge. If you would actually, they're in.
And they do indeed, but unfortunately a sport peak ain't gonna help anybody
From the vert up above, you know, you get spotted and then with that it's an easy flank as well with the scorpion and
Really cooks up the round for
Kina trobo it started strong as soon as that Monty fell that just felt like there was something irredeemable about the round for BME
Yeah, it's again
Siege is such a punishing game that when you have a bad start to a round, then we all know this from rain from casual from pro play
It does just tend to have a kind of ribbling effect throughout the entirety of it
There's a bit of frustration. You gotta now play more passive. You can take the gun for you supposed to take
Monty dying and so guys are only in for operators Monty. He's gonna get everything done inside instead. Okay, um
plan B
Run in there Siege is clear
You know you don't have the time not to rejoin the entire building you might even have bones left a large region the entire building
So he's not going to plan B. It's a little bit a little bit less
What's you say structure a little bit less safe and it can just fall apart and trickle down like I said that your ghost and solo
He dies and just one for one for one for one
So for being me hopefully they can get a bit of second round
I did like the trickery though
I do enjoy when Kim trip they go into a round of defense with a very very clear plan saying hey three men
All we need is like one guy to get a kill, or a couple people to get some damage, and we're having crazy amounts of value.
Yeah, I totally agree.
Especially, I love a play that is really low-risk. Like, spawnpeeks are typically very high-risk, but I've got to say, for the way that you hold an angle can make it very low-risk.
Don't just stick your nose in the window and peek out. Like, you hold a really tight angle where your chance of getting the kill extremely low.
But
That's early break, but it's there is actually
Oh, no, my oh, I thought he had it out
It looked like that the banner battery was placed before the death nation happened
He can own it the time
adults demand the batteries so it was put down successfully and
It's not like only one of the summer. Oh, maybe okay, maybe he did trick the second
Never looked at some of the first one went off. I'm up to a certain
Yeah, Gala impacting himself, the breach will be opened up unfortunately for him.
Now it would have been the only half destruction left in the rounds.
I had the impact actually destroyed to Kingu Selma charges from the ace.
They would have had only a bomb sight or took into the building.
Now instead they got the breach, they got the vert upstairs and will have that same door below.
I mean, again, it's kind of up to Novot as in Monty to leap away.
If you go down the green staircase and go for a plant, if you want to go upstairs and
contest the wrong streak, go for map control, you got plenty of time to do either decision
right now.
It's a matter of committing to one.
There is a world in which you can actually take the Monty downstairs, plant on the bombset
door.
Monty isn't a planter.
You plan behind the Monty and he blocks the angles from above and then all you got to do is EMP the Toxic Baber C4 mid-air
Maybe he's just at the door. He's got a cover pretty effectively. I'm trying to go for something like that
Well, that comes in nice. I think it just got EMPed very nice from the Thatcher
Still gonna have to shoot it. Otherwise it might be used again
worried about the
Necladius gets active and takes the kill meanwhile the Vert from Gallerada was in position to deal damage to that Monty anyway
So unfortunately the plan not working out for be my enemy as they're pretty much slowed to a stop as
Kino just sit back still with the defuse a in the bomb site
Positions for plant and I'll nice entry there from asphalt in the close range against Carl out
But you have to do a hell of a lot more than that on the top floor
Is pistol we're being
Angles gets an enemy spotted there from gutter on
Second kill though, has got a right of peeks out a little bit too wide against the DMR but Astle
very low on HP now, blocks off the angle to his left. However, Turkey falls and beat my enemy
in an hour, a real tough spot even if they are able to finally take control of the top floor. No
reply possible as he drops straight into the side into the man who kicked her off. It's a Clare who
was on the bomb site to begin with, denied that plant and Keenatrope are looking very chill as
they find their second bomb site successful and they haven't even tried the top floor as of yet.
And beanie is being way too simple right now on the server. When you want to go for like
multi-planting, thatcher covering, sort of direct plant attack, you kind of want to have all five
attackers have a lot of value and a lot of presence in the server. And there's many ways to do it,
right? You can run through the bomb site with a monty's planting, trying to get kills when people
You can attack upstairs, against the people who are moving down the vertical holes through the exact same thing.
They have nothing of the sort.
There's Monty walking in, that's you behind him, and everyone is just passing and holding a pixel angle, watching the flanks, hoping the plant goes down.
They only had two out of five attackers actually doing something in the server in the round, and you can tell from KineTrap that they moved that.
You're not afraid of moving around and going with gun flashes shot down the Monty because nobody was applying pressure towards them
It's very important we go over this three to one full committal. Hey, you seem to like a sacrificial lamb
It says hey guys look at me. I have it gone. I'm shooting back at you guys should be first
They didn't do that so they're only worried about the plant and you have everyone working towards countering it
It often goes just get stopped. Here comes the minefield on the first on the third round
And now if it's really powerful to be me have to be like well we lost two rounds where it wasn't even play
Do we really risk spending our entire ban on this operate? It was back? Yeah
You're saying about the last round like so many teams will head a player into the top floor
I'm a hard clear the top floor first. Yeah, or just send one player in like typically yin
So I'm looking for a lot of chaos while they're going fast
You mean sadly just a little bit too predictable a little bit too one-dimensional
I think right now, I mean, let's say the round 3, they hit the maestro and then they ban it away.
You thought you could just bring the clash now, unconsisted.
Or, you know, or better it's like your bandit will stay in for the rest of the game
and ban it tricking could be a huge problem for people by enemy.
So, I feel like they're now in a spot where things are gonna get rougher after this round for them.
You see it over there, they can get around on the board, maybe get some of that pressure back into their own side.
Now it's again the month on the entry looking to disrupt that existence of the extension upstairs
Like in a shut up by the fire the impact is he forced to grip the way hard to push down a narrow corridor off against a chunk
Especially because it's just got so much capacity news
There's gadgets even in the early round because he has so many still left over
Oh, this is a nice angle being held by I agator though
Just waiting for you now you to cross this line of sight and expose himself
I do like the idea here from BME to use Yanagi, the bark down below, have some kind of vertical pressure at the bark and then
Game was typically really good for this, and Clare actually loses his gunfight. Funnily enough, it feels like BME are winning a lot of their fights,
but KineTrope seem to win the game because they're playing better as a unit.
Strats vs. Mechanical skill, really good value for Yanagi getting the bender batteries downstairs,
stairs, breaking the four-part, helping Sikin go to open up the walls later in the round.
And there is still 60 seconds left here to keep progressing, but they cannot slow down,
they gotta keep up that pace, they gotta get the player, to get the high destruction,
gotta get the Monty to attack the extension. And also, the bot being downstairs,
in touch with the round, not finding any kills after the Claire died. He probably has to get
up a staircase down and assist his teammates on the main push. And there's a split theory,
attack from every single angle at the same time. Because we've got that 5v4, it should be a gap to be found somewhere.
Time to isolate these players though. No nades left here for us for the train.
They count the players right on that bomb and they want an over-6 for him.
No nade elsewhere, and no nades are actually spent on the other side.
Now they're going to have to take the fight with the guns against Gatorada.
He found his first, and the Monty is not applying adequate pressure.
He's still managing to dodge the angles. Finally, Nova goes for the ABS.
At the same time as his teammate looks to take the fight and they finally finish off that player in the bomb site question now
Have planned denial. Well, they baited it well with the fake C4 pull and call out to cover his back
Who forced that plan down, but they'd be harassed until he is found
Wow great round from Kana Trove particularly that C4 bait. They always seem just one step ahead
It's genius from Kina show but a bit of blunder there from Asheville who's playing the grid lock
I mean yes, he's ripping the C4 in front of you
But there's no way to throw it to actually get a kill onto the planter
So you don't have to sprint into the room trying to save the round you got baited
Which again speaks to the level of guinatra being one step ahead
And now it's time for that third and final operator ban
Do they go for the maestro because in that particular round it didn't have much of an impact sure
Kawa got two kills with the primary weapon, but the gadget we never saw really get much of an effect
They will ban out the bandit instead. That was my big question. The bandit, the Clash, or the maestro
will be able to Thatcher in response. I guess this was them trying to bait out the maestro ban
Then they can play the bandit for free, but ban it in any way they're Thatcher
And it's forcing them to go down instead of a bog or a famous of the sort and work the verticality
Which will make it more strategically difficult for B and E to actually attack.
So again, I generally feel like the game could have a really good reach, strategically, in all the games they've played so far despite losing them.
You're right. Look, BME have been trying to use this Thatcher. They had it two out of the three rounds playing so far.
And so that ban from Kino, if the Maestro was left in, obviously Thatcher could counter to Maestro.
But also a really good counter to, well, in this case, I think it's the Echo that they were banning it for.
I mean, obviously, also a really good ban on the Thatcher.
If you want to play a lot of C4s, you'll play a lot of Plant and Nile.
But these days with Thatcher that is already keen to be played by BME,
Thatcher also has the ability to find gadgets which he didn't use to, the budget IQ.
And the Echo drones, being able to sneak them around here for a Caillou, that is going to be a massive benefit for him.
So, despite not playing Maestro, it's fine by them. They've got another very similar operator that can commonly do plant denial.
It also helps these drones as well.
Now, I don't think there's a value to be had.
Also funny enough, like, you know, no Monty Bam,
but no Monty Presonance is an attacking case,
so there's no way out.
You got to stop adapting all of it.
Monty's often a player that we see being crouched by good teams
to simplify a round.
Monty's also often an operator that will make the lesser
good teams able to play the game most successfully,
not the case here for BME.
They had the operator that got to the bottom side,
got to get a proper execute down and also just shows a skill level difference in teams and what
their issues are. BME, yeah they could get to the side, yeah they can start holding down air from
the keyboard and actually try and go for a plant. That wasn't the issue. The issue was supporting
the plant adequately with pressure, with guns, with aggression to make sure that it didn't
in fact go down without just being the muncher left alive or alone
I don't think I've ever seen someone play the LMG E except the R4C on R4C
Oh no good point actually
I was sitting there like does friend even have another weapon?
That's why I was looking for the insulps from Pia
Everyone loves that
Oh, you're right! Also, I mean, LNGs haven't been super in meta for a while and they often
just prepare with like a finger. Oh, you're right!
I'm not high enough to amagize, I think.
I don't know.
Me, with the secondary shotgun of ramping the move quite some time ago, you could argue
that LNGs do a bit more destruction, maybe, because it does whip the floor apart, but
now I'm close to you.
You man, what did you do?
It's clear.
At the moment, the ramp has been successful in tearing up the floor, but not really fighting
any kills here. KineTrap can make a good job to dodge this.
Left to play, and still, got a Ryder is on for the roam. He's just tucked away in reception.
Just around the corner from Y'nagi.
Slading here so patiently. Slowish down so far.
Waiting for him to say go, go, go, but actually they're shut down again and Kyle the Echo gets
opened in front of Toki, just starting off the wrong side.
which could be big here from Tsukingo, especially after Nova has found Iyageta.
And it is indeed Tsukingo who opens the equation on the bomb site with that shotgun,
but Inotro barely stays alive, would trade though, as Nova finally cuts the bomb site in half and
finishes off Kawawa. Akagi goes down, which forces it all on to Gatorada. Now the Roma back to the
bomb site might have some info here from the Yokai drones, despite the Eko himself being dead.
There is one alive in lab and while I won't be able to deny the plant that'll be plenty of info for him
This is very winnable here on for the retake
It's one frag grenade for Nova to try and use but Garada doesn't have info where all of these players are
He's to make sure he cuts these corners quickly
I'm just gonna take away as Nova makes it I believe at 3k in the round huge one from him
Get him off the montian onto a gun and he will have an impact
As far as I say, maybe having 5 guns for the execute was going to be all they needed.
I mean, they start off on the wrong side, losing a player to the Echo shotgun, but then
Tecinko gets it with the aim, gets it even trade, and just kind of gets that pressure.
They make him to look in every single direction, they feel the spin theory pressure, and they
get around victory.
They also more importantly get the bomb planted in the 2v1 with good cover, in a good post
by position, and playing a discipline 2v1.
one guy watching the flank, one guy watching the front and not having any gaps left at all.
Also this grenade falls in the coyote's swing, I mean there are so many small victories there
for me and my enemy. Best round so far.
Hey they got a round on the board, Penger, it's a great start on the attacking side,
Melissa, I think we would probably expect them to be a little bit more comfy in the second half
on defense. I'm not sure if they really need this room, let me say. I think they arguably need this
more than BME, but if you're BME right now you're probably thinking look this is our best chance that we have maybe
ever had. Because we're facing up against a team that is really down in the dumps, really
struggling at the moment. You know, having lost their last three games, particularly their last game
7-2 against B plus a team that they have beaten before. BME actually fun enough and looking at
the stats playing, you're obviously very small sample size. They have a 38% attack rate and a
Only a 15% defense win rate, but I'm guessing they just mostly tend to start defense and then lose most of their rounds against good teams, so only 1-2 rounds a stage.
Breast chop!
That's a start.
There's walking robot effortlessly.
Despite the, uh, a Thatcher ban shenanigans, it's like you can't really play the Mutus Waltoni because the can openers and the aids are just circumvented.
You cannot loot generous devices any longer.
So why Maverick when Kaede banded a band? Am I missing something here? That feels very troll.
Yes, so I think like why they would do it and I was thinking like if they play the Mew you can't play the Thermite
but then as a set they got the Can Open and Base Open so I don't really know either.
You could have played Maverick and Thermite and then circumvented that way as well but they don't have a Thermite
so I don't really have a good reasoning as to why they opt for the Maverick.
And then you just want to Franklin it, but then again, you can do
He's a striker, he's a striker and you can make flashes as well
Yeah, I'm not a troller
I'm on Maverick's shield and I think this is a troll pick
Unless if you really think, well he's used most of his torch, what does he use it on?
No, no, no, no, Maverick only has two, uh, two, uh, two canisters
So he can only reload once
Yeah, so he hasn't used any of his torch, you're right, I forgot that they changed that
They're the same, like so now instead of having like four redotes, you have two big canisters.
Oh, he's using it now, where is he using it now though?
That's a vibrational boost.
Oh, it's in the ops wall, so I think he just wants to create some really like one sided angles.
He only uses a tiny bit just to make some lines of sided ops, maybe to prevent the rate take.
I don't really think so.
They have like a doubling pick though, Kawa is in the grave, that's the orange player.
Again, no shielding this round, some of the most high-value operator, but maybe it's just to kind of pound the Munty in case we're gonna up that strategy.
This is being me with a lot more pace control, a lot more conviction in the server.
And again, I try to bait the rotation here.
The Anarch is holding top rock of stairs, expecting a flank from Kinetro, but it's not happening right now.
Instead, C4 downstairs, looking for freebie.
Solar to the scanner, looking for their drones.
And only in the last 40 seconds here, be my enemy, they're on a timer, they gotta go soon.
And there was a nitro from Akai through the floor from down below.
DME are running out of time and while they had the initial opening pick,
that advantage has evaporated almost a second now for Iogator.
Askful, he's not checking his corners.
He can breach this wall, that doesn't guarantee that it's clear.
And they might be able to kill Iogator there, but no, it'll just force him back.
But now the friend from Gatorade around the corner is going to be the problem for Nova.
And unfortunately he tried to deliver the same way that he did last round, Tokyo 1v2, and he's got to watch every single direction at once.
It's another round for Kino, and that victory for CYBM here was very short-lived.
So good, yet not good enough.
Opening pick, so in one part of the equation you got to get all the way to the bombset and go for a plant, and again, can you give me an enemy?
They're losing in small areas.
like they have what 32 seconds left and they just jump in the the breach towards the bomb site
they never clear the corner they had frag grenades in pocket on two separate attackers they had a
spare drone if you just take it extra three seconds bounce the grenade off the wall so that the
grenade he gets to kill or the guy in the corner will run away right here there's one grenade
there's three grenades right now two on november who's right behind the player one you're not
getting a different hallway you can just do that jump in after and maybe go for a free plant because
because a C4 was spent earlier by Akayu.
They didn't have any real plant in outlift.
Instead, they lose the round, things go their way,
and now look at this defensive round.
Maestro with the clash.
What they were my magnets, also protecting them.
This is cute when you're bringing out all the stops
for the final on the defense,
trying to make their life as miserable for BME,
and probably forcing Nova off the monkey with that as well,
because you can't do anything about the clash in Maestro.
You're gonna get soft destruction, utility, EMPs,
Verticality because you got to counter the uptrend now. You can just play your usual round of siege
And clash is actually really hard to counter even these days with Sophia and Carly buff which both kind of technically counts in clash
I've been trying to play that in ranked. It actually requires quite a lot of coordination to get the most out of that
Even these days if you have a Thatcher like you could Thatcher off that clash
There's no guarantee you're gonna be able to close the distance and actually get that kill and then it'll be recharged before you know
It's the same problem with both the Kali and the Zofa.
I mean, I love that the Kali, if you're playing Kali,
like you don't have to think about your U-Till when you want to counter-clash.
You just shoot it with the sniper and it knocks your shield back.
I think that's a great interaction because, you know, with the Zofa,
it costs U-Till to do that, but for Kali, you don't have to feel free.
But it's still very hard against a good clash player
who knows how to look the other way to get the shield to quickly cover them again
to actually get a teammate to shoot their leg at the time.
I
Also think various lightages how testing the coordination level off me because it has been their weakness
But they're done a great job getting about operators
Boxes here. They actually said it's tricky, but it's doable and he is by everyone
Kyle I'm no longer defaulting behind the clear two and three, but this hasn't seen much of the action. I suppose
No, it's really
What is this?
The anchor from a car you're outside the building.
I mean, you're just taking one of those ones.
You're wasting Yanaki's time and your own, but you're just coming back safely.
Yep, hi guys.
Oh god, you know, he has no idea what to do.
Nice breach here on the internal wall, but the external is still solid,
so the clash is just sitting there and waiting.
They're peaking him out.
Now that's a nice job from the air jab to send Eclair back, but he's just going to stay on the floor as Akagi continues to get aggressive.
He will go down, but the flank comes through.
Eclair wins! He shots!
This might be a solid chance now.
Triple for Toki in the round as Karawa is the last one left for Kinatro.
BME might have just done enough to make this half redeemable for them.
Out comes the Evil Eye, but all it achieves really is baiting Yanagi in for the 1v1.
Now, on 1v3, he finds himself in.
There are plenty of Bs left.
The Kwanhives from Nova could be shot on out.
He could even go outside and breach the wall if he wanted to.
On the flash to go through, Kawa low on HP, but it'll be so easy
to counter this on the attacking side.
Toki makes it a 4k for himself.
Can you be my enemy?
Manage to salvage the half with the second round.
I
Oh, CYB and me managed to walk out of that.
half with two rounds on the board against KineTrek no less and look thank you with how that half
started three rounds in a row for Kino I certainly didn't see this coming no it's uh the niggard
switch up towards the end then honestly in the you know sixth round the last one in the first half
toky just popped off he was in there with nomad got three kills and with that you know that is
more or less a guaranteed run victory the matter of the problem here is going to be consistency
for BME, can they do these sorts of things more often than not? Can they have different players
pop off? Can they get the team work together on a reliable status? That's what we're going to be
looking for. They are now in defense, which on paper should probably be a little bit easier for them.
But then again, we go back to the point of Kintaro being a better team strategically.
They should also have a good idea of how to pick apart these defensive setups.
Yeah, I think you're right there. Like, look, honestly, a game like this, a half like that,
Makes me have hope for BME. I mean there are some teams in the APL. I feel like we kind of have like one or two teams in each
Of the sub regions where you're just like this team is just going to lose every single game. You know sadly
We've got um dolphin e-sports in an asian. We've got BME here in apack now
And these teams just like you know, they've got a single team and all year long
They're struggling to get any points on the board
But half like that like I think if BME work on their teamwork a little bit
then they might have something because that was two out of six rounds per week
where one player essentially single handedly won the round like Nova had a
big round where he got a 3k and essentially won it for them.
Tokyo had a big round where he got a 4k and essentially won it for BME so if they can tighten up it
play a little bit maybe just I think it just need a bit more experience playing at the top level
like I don't know who their typical scrim partners are but if I was BME now we
you know try and scrim top teams as much as you can even if you're being
smashed by 10-2 every scrim by as many as you can and take inspiration from them
like look at the defaults and then try and play a little bit more deeper
variants like particularly that attack that we saw from them onto a Bunk's
briefing I think that was a great example of an attack that's just a bit
undercooked like you just were a year behind the meta you just need to like
look at what the top teams do see how it's a little bit more complicated than
what you're doing do what you're doing but then just add those extra two of
pre-layers on top of the top things do and then yeah if you have players that can
pop off every few rounds then you might actually start taking some wins here in
ADL. You mentioned BME here, Dolphin in Asia, what's the O's equivalent or is
O's just better?
I can't just call out all the other sub regions, but O's is so good man, everything's amazing.
There's no team without a win all year in O's.
I don't for memory. I would say that there isn't no maybe maybe oh this is better
Current o-standings. I guess arcade or on five in stage two so far, but they have claimed them stage one
I know they went on seven in stage one maybe our cat out of that conversation
Okay, he's making sure
We're gonna cover all the areas because you are from oh, so you can have bias cast this in the box, right?
Yeah, yeah
Oh well, meanwhile, the Scopus has unfortunately died before managing the TP back to side in
classic Scopus fashion.
Hey, hey, but Scopus-
We need that on the pingo card!
Scopus killed Iagid on Bug.
I'm gonna say a worthy one-for-one trade, okay?
And half the damage to Eclare, like that's not bad.
But you're right, like, sometimes you stick around for a little bit too long, you'd better
have more than you can chew.
Could it be the one for C-Row?
There's too much I could pop the other wall by the way, but the mirror was just gonna
be very awkwardly located, I believe.
matter. No one will fall on back, Akai finds a king ghost, so it starts off well again for BME.
Then again a small individual mistakes perhaps, and now it's back to the side of favor of KinoTrope.
Yeah, that's something unfortunately you can get further that direction.
Is he in sight? Yeah, he's in sight.
Akai uses it on the bomb site, says, hey guys, I'm here, I'm here.
Where is he?
I'm holding my AR33 with the CAG logo on it, by the way, I didn't even know CAG had a skin with
the day on 33 oh well just holding the line now while the clear gets that diffuser down
and toky has decided to just keep on out sitting warehouse maybe pack a few boxes work the
day job skin I believe by the way they got a new one not like a few days ago I also didn't
know it but then I was oh well they got a forest give you days ago so should I just
got the AR33. I want to see Kai's skin. It's very light. It's pale. White. White. You saw
it right there. It's very bright. Oh my god. Love that. Good stuff. Yeah, the new skin
drops look pretty insane. Hold up. I have a photo for you in a second. I can soar to
in discord
i am
it looks like it's a good goal cj's no no it is it is i give you
or is that all right it's a red was white
all
yeah that's interesting
account i can't see the gun skin
and you know i wait wait different angle different angle i got you
that i just need to locate and it's not many bombs that you look at this
it's got me
guys if you wanna play along at home
look up
the gunskins cool is that attachment skin
also like cg attachment skin no i think they just picked one that fit it
uh... yeah that attachment skin is sick
yeah it does sell it very well
if you google uh... cg florist you know google it will come up
there will be uh... all the... i think there's a pistol there's a pistol
ar-33 in the florist uniform it's very like a red and a white colors
and WCNM they got a I don't remember the century of striker skin but they got a
recruit skin oh yeah so what's the what's the best skin
ooh I don't I I haven't seen the full job I just like individual videos like I
know like it's just G1 and CAG1 WCNM but I haven't seen like the comparison
Oh, I'm looking at... I'm getting super distracted, but I'm looking at one screenshot of a video from the second of July with wildcard, um,
Fyrex, Team Liquid, and Fnatic, and I don't know if it's just the pose, but these are all... so cool.
Oh, Van Gumbel from Navy as well, Dr. Rathies, yeah.
Well, so they choose that right in your soccer trailer picture if you would go up is the final classic operator to get a rework
So doc rework will be re-confirmed
And it's HLTV confirmed by the digital media channels of our members exceed at this like a major they will show us the document
Meanwhile, there has been a little skirmish on the bombsite, not off the bombsite I should
say.
Asphalt's died.
He's got info in box.
He can actually continue sitting in that can as Karla was faking something on the other
side.
This is a very unusual way to attack this bombsite from Kiritrip.
Also, a very unusual potato there from Iogator, but he eventually gets that kill onto Yanagi.
A little bit longer than it should have perhaps.
And now the Grimby's are gonna put the King of the
Look, this is very winnable for BME. I don't want to...
Well, he knows too much. But yeah, like you said, two players low HP.
Well, they've spent a lot of Utah. They haven't actually taken a lot of ground.
They've had a lot of players to force themselves in here. The bomb site is down and Bunk's briefing.
And finally starting to heal a late at some of the...
Goyo fires, but...
Koki now can just drop down below.
He's very close to site.
His two teammates are still up above.
In the triple completely stole that they have I mean they're two members soul and HP to the camera you go in and take the gun fire
But they still got like kids a fire
They got two grenades in pocket the floor stone. They should be able to progress this job, but they're completely stuck
No, but upstairs alone and depending below the same time. Oh
Is that fire gonna kill him? It will how well place Goyo fire the clutch moment for Nova
But the kill comes out from God arriving close range regardless with Sikingo the last one left
All I have to do is go for the guns and Akai with that CAG scheme goes deep on the flores
Finds that final shot Kino
Thankfully managed to redeem the round and went there
They're just two rounds away from finishing off this game. Oh my god
I was such a beautiful double swing there one guy of all ten roads here one guy walking in the door and very important for
Kenan shop there the order of that sequence
It's gonna be the guy vaulting that goes in first because you're stuck in the animation you can't go for an ABS shot
So you're gonna have a very bad chance in a gunfight. So you vault in first
You bait out the shot then start to swing the door gun ready with the prefire and that way you get a very successful trade
It's uh, it was looking to be me for the majority of that round
But at the end got out a shotgun a kaius trade game here just too good
To the two rounds away, I forgot that they were just one round away man. This game is actually flown by
I feel like that first half was a really solid battle back and forth
But especially with King of Trope that first round when they're attack just a car is in the bomb site in like yeah
in
See now you're talking about is he talking about the fire? Oh?
Oh, he's got a fire
Fire fire, so I'm curious if this is a visual bug or he's gonna start taking damage in three seconds here
Let's see is he a lion. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he's a wire. Yep. He's dead
Unlucky
Wait, so he wasn't taking damage because
Friendly fire was off, right exactly cannot do friendly fire and prep face or whatever. Yeah, so that's so funny. The thing is you can take
Fire, oh, maybe you can't anymore. Okay. Yeah back when twitch stones were a thing
You could obviously shoot the good fires in prep face and you could therefore do damage
Yeah, I guess that whole system changes since then you can no longer take
Oh yeah, if you detonate it, so if you shoot the gas pipe, you will take damage.
If your team is in the gas pipe and you shoot it, he doesn't take damage, yeah.
So I think what happened was it was Yonagi, or whoever it was last round, shot the Goyo
fire, and then the fire detonated, and then for whatever reason the game thought that
he was still in the fire in the next round, and the future teammate shot it.
Skulls can TP through rounds, that's insane.
So, uh,
Ideams U, I think you saw it, like a docked rework picture.
Yeah.
That's a very official, like no detail, okay, official.
So essentially, to get us through the description here,
it's kind of like a watercolor picture of dock.
That was announced to the Osaka Major,
and he's holding what looks like his new gadget device,
because it's not the regular stick, it's still.
It looks electric, right?
Like it's got a little antenna on us. It does it looks like a stimpest visual hard
It looks like a mini thatcher EMP launcher combined with a stimpest like a little help. Yeah
So I'm curious, but it does have like a chamber right that it can shoot something out of
Yeah, I mean it's mean
I don't think the question is what will it get you do?
I think it's a matter of how does it work right because it's probably it's gonna be healing device of some sort
I'm gonna be some kind of healing. Yeah, I think there's two way. Okay immediate thoughts
It's a it's a it's a healing pistol that has ammo instead of a single a steam charger
It's a so you get like a hundred here looks right
Yeah, exactly or hold this thought okay, what if and I actually don't know anything about this
So it's really guesswork here.
What if it's a device that works
as a quote unquote protective shield?
So it has ammo, you will hold, yeah.
So imagine you're aiming at a teammate,
you hold down left click with the gadget out,
it's gonna consume ammo, as it's doing so,
it grants you protection of some sort,
like a little barrier.
It could make you-
Like a finger, like this.
Like a finger boost, but you're holding it.
So it can be the RA, give you the vulnerability,
which would be crazy, you can see it obviously.
Or B, if you just say it gives you 50% damage reduction,
you can just take fire, tank the fire.
I don't know.
Why does it give you the damage reduction?
Because you don't have that in siege.
The only damage reduction we have is explosive resistance.
Okay, wait, I got more info.
Officially, the gadget is called the E-heal.
So like E-heal?
Yeah, the gadget is called E-heal.
Is that a dog and an e-girl or something?
Iq running simulations at night hidden labs on the gadget, Gadget Seemly is electronic,
has a hot base on the image, soma corp, a clinic helping thinker may be involved with
mark docks proper official return to rainbow so this all lower stuff obviously right rainbow
not the game but rainbow as the unit if you will so very interesting and also because obviously in
siege and defense you have dock which is a healing operator and you also have thunderbird which is a
healing operator dock has the ability of shooting a skin pistol currently arranged to a target where
where Thunderbird has a low station,
like a chap device that you pre-place
that people can then run into to get healed.
So I'm very curious how they're gonna balance
and change doc because you need to always keep in mind
that Thunderbird exists.
So you cannot make doc into Thunderbird.
You need to make them symbiotic or fill that,
the role-playing aspect of a healing operator
in different ways, right?
Fantasy rather.
So I'm keen to see it.
Neav Rook who's never played,
but I think is sleeper overpowered.
get your more health baseline with the armor that's crazy man we were kind of
talking about this I think it was you know you say whatever like if it was a
dog for your work and you do whatever you want what do you think I was like what
if he also has like a D fit bring someone back to life yeah we're thinking
of sage style right from from bellow well well that was filled if you give up
Like you can be injured or you can be dead if you're dead you know, yeah, no, so it's not like that
I haven't played since be a fall like you are dead you are dead on the ground and you can respawn. Oh
And you can do this. Yeah
Yeah, yeah, well, I mean we only like you can get you can get RPG you could get
I always play the medic and I just see this we get obliterated by a tank and like
I mean, it could be cool. I mean, I guess that makes sense if you could revive some of your defense
But they were talking about a sixth life think of Skopos
But you have both shells whereas if the shell you control now for Yanagis that shell gets shot
You lose your debt officially by imagining Skopos where even if you're controlling the current shell and you lose your first gun fight
You would just become the second and that one
Yeah, well while we're talking about operating some buffs, I have a buff to scope off that I don't think is okay and
It's that when you get on camps any cam any observation tool you still put out the shield
Yeah, so you can actually be this yeah, like me to yeah
So you can still be sitting like protected by the shield while you're like so like you could just be it's a it's kind of like
You're nowhere like that you protocol event where you put on cams. You're invulnerable. I like that idea
Anyway speaking of maybe doesn't need a buff because scope is farming at the moment
What how will doc heal scope like how can't you stop us?
I'm sure we'll see any healing no no look on her. No, it's not a personal buff
Yeah, so you have two half hours. We cannot gain healing or gain health
I shot there from a clear by the way.
They have an awkward pace though, it feels like Gintra, but they don't seem like they
want to take gunfights, but then you just run in, take the phone, trap and get a kill.
So on one hand they do want to fight, but now we're looking at them avoiding the pipe
as much as possible right after.
I feel like when you're 6-2 up you just have to play a bit carefree.
The last time they attacked Basement, remember R'Kai who was just in the bomb side, the
the first like 40 seconds looks like they're trying to flood at the moment
Sikingo with a shoddy is there to receive car well but the car you the AR33
continues to wreak havoc and with that Kino are very close to executing into
the B bomb site Sikingo waiting for his chance to do some damage with the shock
that's great in close quarters but limited the world you can take those
fights in the flank upstairs pickle punish last I have a schoolboys once
again, it's going for a flank, shut down. And with that, the game is over. Kiritro finally
have their first win on the board, an underwhelming one I'm afraid. Thank you, 7-2 over, can you
be my enemy and a flawless set of attacks from Kino as well. It'll be great to have a chat
with Okamesh after this game to understand what has gone wrong for the last three weeks,
but one thing's for certain, it'll be nice to finally get a taste of a win once again
to Kinship. And decisive ones with good stuff, having to serve from team play, individual
pop-offs and stuff that reflects the muscles in terms of operating a lineup, playing the
maestro twice, playing some plans, playing some bandit tricking. I feel like it's true
that in a classic case of a Kinship they are capable of, but I also think, you know, we
didn't see that many attacks from them, but the kids stole out on a number of times and
I guess a stronger enemy on this exact map and this exact kind of playstyle, I do think
I think that Kinshu would have struggled today as well, had to play the strong Graveau.
So I'm curious, and here, what can we say about what he thinks the issues are?
Because it doesn't have to seem there's a lot of confidence, it's a bit in the preview stage.
I think you're right, I mean, the concern here for me isn't that Kinetrope have lost three games,
and like, oh, it's all good because this was a 7-2.
Like, what matters is how the rounds play out, and you're right, those rounds were not all decisive,
and there was a lack of confidence at points for Kinetrope,
So I do want to understand what's going on. Also, I'm not down three times there from BME in the first half
which was a little bit of a surprise, but Keenan trip let it go down quite a lot
But yeah, nonetheless 7-2, Akayu and Aiya get a top fragging, particularly Akayu getting a lot of kills is always nice to see
I mean, he's typically a support player doesn't usually get a lot
So nice win to him, but yeah, this has just got to be the first step for Keenan trip. That's the thing, right?
You can't celebrate too hard at this win got to go on to the next games against trippy double rx
And then finally round it out against cag, but let's have a chat with the coach from kina trope ockermesh
It's been way too long my friend nice to talk to you again
Congratulations on the win today. How do you feel after finally getting a win on the board? Yeah, it's very
I'm so glad to win because we lost the first three game
and I don't know how to say it, but we are so hardest positioned to secure a playoff right,
so we need to win almost every single game on here, so yeah, anyway, I'm glad to win
thanks so much.
Yeah, well the thing you do have going for you is the fact that two of the games you
did lose were an overtime, so you took some points out of those games and also SCARS and
FioraX didn't get the full three points, so you're probably going to be competing with
with Skars and Fiora X for that extra spot in the playoffs.
So yeah, what went wrong in those games
that you played in the last couple of weeks,
losing to so many teams that we would have expected you
to be much more competitive against?
Yeah, we pretty struggle adaptation and mid game.
Like, for example, we versus Skars in Clubhouse, right?
And then Skars ban Maestro as a third ban.
And this is so rare to see, right?
So we should spam more Wamai, Mira,
or something like meta operators,
but we couldn't have that idea in mid-game,
because I already used tactical time out of the early game,
so I couldn't up, I mean, I never mind.
That's not right.
I used, never mind.
I forgot to tell, I mean, I tried to,
yeah, I tried to communicate,
but I couldn't have a better idea of just doing strut, yeah.
It's hard because there are so many operators in Siege right now.
It's a very complicated game.
I know right now when there's no game happening,
it's easy to say, Maestro Band, we should have played this, this, that.
But when you're in the moment, right, it's so much more challenging.
I want to talk to you about Magnet joining, obviously,
coming from a coaching position where O is now going to join you guys as an analyst.
Analyst, what's been that experience like and what's been his like main role in this team?
He's actually helping like sub-structural coach and an aneris.
That's main focus of them.
Then, like everyone thought Magneto would be head coach and then I'm stepping back to
like sub-coach or something, but like this time Magneto respect me, thanks so much and then
And we try to, I mean, magnet helps us so much stuff on like, especially small stuff.
Like, we don't have good small stuff like communication timing or like gadget timing.
Sometimes we mess, sometimes we mess because we always run spirit theory, but sometimes
We need to focus one by one then we need to do something as a team or more and then he he taught us how to
So this is very
helpful, but this game I mean this game. I'm so mad because
Five to round I thought everyone is gonna be focused for something but like communication was not good
I'm gonna be mad man after this
Yeah, you go tell off the boys
You started this interview by saying that you're a bit concerned because playoffs or stage finals
will be very hard for you to get to now, but I'm just looking at the standings. I mean, you're
now going to be on five points, which actually puts you tied for points right now with Thorex
and in fifth place above double Rx. Now, those two teams play each other today,
depending on the result between those teams, you could be very close to coming in
into the Stage Finals spot for spots. You also, in your next couple of games, you're playing against
double RX and Trippie, which are arguably some of the easiest games that you're going to have to
play before you finally play CIG in your final match. So it actually is very achievable for you
to still make Stage Finals. How do you make sure that the team stays focused, keeps their eyes on
the prize, and doesn't get too distracted by the fact that it's going to be hard to win from here
in a hard to make stage finals because if you look at it from a mature perspective it actually is
very possible. Yes, of course everyone went to stress this whole match after we lost the
three game league at all but we just talk much and we just everyone do what we can do. Do your best
every single time. Just keep it in mind and like as a professional not like
human or not like kids we just playing as a professional so we need to win one by one
we need to practice one by one that's it that's what we talk. Awesome well it's been great to
finally get a chance to talk to you Okamesh about how the team's going I can't believe it took until
playday four but I'm glad that we finally have you and hopefully we'll be speaking to you every
play day from here on out. I'd love to give you a chance to have the mic for yourself if you want to
say anything to the fans watching. For Japanese? Of course. Yes, sure.
Thank you so much!
Thank you Okamash! See you next time!
Thank you very much!
Thank you!
We've got to brush off on our Japanese Pingu if we're gonna try and put our best foot forward to go to the Osaka Major.
All of these teams are doing that at the moment.
Yeah, I can't believe it. We're already 18th of September.
Can you believe it?
2026 is already looking at sunset.
It's very close. This major is coming up very soon.
All these teams are gunning for it.
D plus Kia, one of the teams very much in contention for that spot at the Osaka Major,
are taking on the underdogs from Korea, trippy main telecom. That's coming up in just a few minutes.
I like the Enterprise Esports and we're competing in Oceania and the APL.
My earliest memory of playing video games was with my dad and my two brothers playing
4 person split screen Call of Duty.
Playing games with my brothers and my dad is 100% where my competitive side came from
because it was always trying to be the best in the household sort of thing and that was
just, they felt the same way as well so like in basketball as well being the best at shooting
threes or in footy hooker kick the furthest is this, it's sort of something I've always
had and it's something that is definitely present when I play Siege as well.
Life growing up in Perth is very relaxed so basically it's just playing sport or video
games either way if I'm inside I was playing games when I was younger but if I was outside
I'd always had a ball in my hand,
whether it was a footy or a basketball.
And yeah, playing with friends as well,
and yeah, driving down to the local court sort of thing.
My free time was either literally playing games
or playing sport.
I was really no nothing else.
Originally I was the worst obviously,
because I was very little,
but I quickly overtook my dad at first.
And then my eldest brother as well,
I easily overtook in video games and sport.
But I'd say in video games,
I became the best very fast,
but in actual sports, maybe not so much.
My middle brother, Mitch or Sage on,
as a lot of people know him,
definitely my main role model in life for sure.
The way he conducted himself in even school and every day,
like I looked up to him a lot
and getting to travel with him
and play on the same team with him, he really helped me.
Even this recent solo trip,
my first ever major without him,
and it did feel weird because even if I'm just thinking,
oh, what are we eating?
I'm asking him for a bit of guidance,
but yeah, he taught me a lot
And he was definitely the person that I try and be the most, I guess.
My family is very supportive, and even of what I do now, my mum and dad watch my games
and they're very happy to have me in the house, still not paying rent and just playing video
games, which sounds a bit silly.
But they're very, very supportive and I think they never pushed me down an alley or anything
and I clearly didn't want to go to uni or anything, so they were completely fine with
that.
Mitch was similar, like, just helping me through but also being realistic. So if I'm doing something stupid, he's like,
you know, probably don't do that. My dad started with Rainbow Six Vegas and so did my older brothers.
And then I remember when Rainbow Six released, Mitch kind of got into the beta and I would sit on the couch and watch Mitch play Rainbow Six,
like, for hours and hours, but I was never brave enough to try it. And yeah, I started playing on console once Mitch moved to PC.
And then eventually one year I got a PC for Christmas and that was how it started.
I mainly played Call of Duty. I feel like it was a bit repetitive and what not, but I think like
Rainbow Six is really unique. Like every round is different. You can have different combinations
of operators depending on the way you play. If you play aggressive, passive, no round is the same
and I really think that I've never got bored of it because of that. I was really bad on Rainbow Six
console at the start and I would just play with my school friends and we'd be stuck in gold for
like, we'd play a thousand games a season and still be in gold, but the thought of seeing a diamond
in a lobby or anything it was just something I really wanted to achieve and I wanted to get to
that top rank so I just kept grinding and grinding and then eventually on console I got pretty good
but it wasn't until I loaded up on PC that I kind of it kind of just felt instantly comfortable
and I would like slot straight into the top rank lobbies and it just felt natural I guess.
I remember for when Mitch or Sage got a PC he was always pretty good. The first of the
challenge league team he joined I was just really excited to watch his game and I don't think his
His team was very good, but I think he was pretty good.
I watched all of his Challenger League games,
all his Pro League games,
while I was still playing in console,
and I was like, basically like his biggest fan.
As soon as I got a PC,
and I started getting a little bit of a feel for Wraith,
and I saw like, I guess Mitch showed how accessible it was,
and how actually doable it was to get into Pro League.
I think he kind of inspired me a little bit,
but as soon as I got a PC,
I knew that I wanted to play pro, for sure.
I'ma keep it going, I'ma keep it going, I'ma keep it going, so I won't let you go
Welcome back to APL for our second game of the night, PENGU.
Our first game delivered, finally a win for Kena Trope.
Today the question is, can we see a first win for Trippie main telecom, who unfortunately
are at the very bottom of the standings without a single point on the board, but it's not
going to be easy because their opponents are the big Brazilian dogs and the devilishly
handsome foals on the D plus KIA side of things.
Yeah, it just feels like a Trippie, it never truly ever gets easier, but before talking
about them. Let us first discuss what he said. False. The guy with the moves, the guy with
the swagger, and of course their new pickups for this stage in both Ayan and Yuri joining
here for stage 2. They both had a phenomenal start to this roster. Ayan being 27 and 16
in the kill depth department. This guy is always looking for buys and always getting
it done. Yuri Harbour, he is a new shoot player for this team and he doesn't play your standard
shield while he is extended with the Munty and not going for kills. No, this guy will
go for every gunfight you give him. It was so hard to play against that Kino showed themselves
playing the Blitz and the Mungy because it was way too hard to counter him otherwise.
Yeah, very much so. I mean, D-plus are a very strong team. They have been consistently the
second best team in the APAC, well, for a very long time now, Pengu, but always living in the
shadow of tag. And especially this stage when the Major is in Osaka, there's a lot on the line.
Of course, DPLOS kicked off their year with a phenomenal showing at the Invitational.
They booked down Shopify Rebellion. They took a map off of FaZe Clan.
They had a really impressive run at that event, yet they didn't manage to make it to Salt Lake,
and they haven't managed to make it to EWC either. So they're sitting in a rough position where
can they afford to go three events in a row without making it to the upcoming major?
It also puts them in a very hard spot trying to qualify for SI in their home country of Brazil
next year so really they need to make this their stage and a three-point winner of the Trippie
main telecom is just the first step really. Trippie on the other side I mean sadly they have found
themselves at the bottom of the standings for most of the year. The majority of their wins come
against the lower end teams they've got actually an overtime loss in stage one to double Rx there
was 7-0 by D plus, 7-1 by Kagan and Fyrex they lost an OT to Kino also 7-0 by Scar so like the
The record of the team with the most 7-1s and 7-0s against them is sadly not the kind of record that you can boast about to your fans.
It's not. They start off with their very first game and stays one of the big three, unfortunately not.
It's like, you know what, maybe these guys are the real deal, maybe they can actually hold the cantals to the mid-tag teams in the region.
No, they currently cannot be crewing that. Unfortunately, they're the very first to understand games.
They're looking to get around with here and the game went there.
They're looking at the double RX that can't even be my enemy, maybe hopefully for them
they can start fighting against a team like Team Kiritro, who's going through their own
struggles at the minute.
But I'm against D plus, it feels like it's going to be a D plus wins, let's go next.
Of course, an upset can happen, but that's kind of the baseline expectation now.
Look, I think if you're trippy, the goal just has to be like every round matters, how they
got 7-0ed by fearx this stage added to all the 7-0s and 7-1s last stage but you know every round
the trippy find of this match is an improvement over the head-to-head game that these guys had
in stage one. Let's see what map we'll be playing. We've seen Trippy already play quite a number of
different ones. Same for D plus both of them play three different maps. We go to club which both of
these teams have actually already played. D plus destroyed CYB and E on this map 7-3 and Trippy
unfortunately lost quite convincingly second two to CAG on this map. So what will we have to
show for us on Coghouse? Hopefully a lot. Have you seen the clip that's kicking around of vets
on Coghouse? With the fuse? I'm just waiting for someone to try and do that in pro play.
Quite exciting. There's a new trick we can kind of like make the few charges go further into the
the room of bounce left and right something like that I didn't see the fourth
clip but I saw that it was kind of crazy. Oh I can explain it is crazy. Okay for now let's
focus up on the game at hand whether or not use Chakri is played these stats are
crazy by the way. Only 4% round win rate when Levy plays Castle surely that's got
to be a much lowest really low play rate I would have to assume. Not for the trick to say that's not for Fnatic
He was in Science Center some night when he gets a place to kill 20% of the night, but he doesn't.
That really puts things into perspective. Tippy, me, then it took off off.
I had Mira and Grimace being removed from action here on Clubhouse. Nothing too out of the norm.
But I will leave open the meta operators in your Solid Snake, your Deimos, and of course the Bandit as well for some of that trickery if you would like to go for it.
The only thing is for D plus, they have a lot of utility, you know, Mira, Kaede is a lot about Walden Isle in some ways,
but what about the Capitao, the Ying, the Glass, the Monty, I mean you're leading them so much,
and they're picking three of those up as right now, Solicene, Ying and Monty being hovered.
I want to see Trippie, they have left these operas open with a counter in the back of their mind,
or if there's been an oversight on their end, thinking that, ah, we can deal with it when we get there, don't worry too much.
You guys trust me if you leave this kind of operates open against the plot you need to know how to deal with it because they will play them
Break down the fuse trick by the way
Yeah, I mean why don't we do it when it's on CCTV?
When it comes to it's easy to take it okay, so just keep you guys doing keep you guys
interested keep you guys full of tests like that's what we do in the broadcast business, right?
And before we show you the fuse trick here's a word from us
I feel we haven't had to do any of that.
We thankfully did.
There's some great meme potential in those seconds.
I actually would love to.
Can we do some sponsor segments?
Not because we want money, but just because I want to create some memes.
We would like to get paid by the way.
Yes, the money would be nice.
We take a card.
Yeah.
I mean, you will all know that, hey, my name is Ingle, but you may, my name is Niggaz
Morton.
You know me as Spingo.
That anime band that we see remember is awesome.
What was the song before? I don't know, but I know the phrasing of it all.
Oh, Dochi!
Dochi's already coming!
Yeah, I mean, if Big Pig defines, though if Midi's just gonna reply with two, then maybe it's not worth it.
But look, if there's anyone to take down from the D, if you're a defender, it's probably that Monty.
I'm sure Yuri, like ADS, trying to win the gunfight and just die, which is a really
thing to do.
Yeah.
Downside is Aelusta Monty, upside is always the first person to die on the attack and
or defense.
You now get a permanent flank watcher on those cameras.
And I think for attacks that will very often give you a, not advantage, but it's like a
nice little upside to a bad situation, is that Yuri is going to be watching the garage cam,
blue cam and now they can ensure the top floor will be there so nobody can retake that area
meaning the rest of his teammates can focus on what's in front of them rather than what's behind
the castle barricades changed the scope of this room a little bit demik not as worried about
bar because of it nice shot all the way from dirt as well hey hold the phone for a second
with levy and falls going down d plus are now in a really tough spot because mid is low hp
It has to be a kill from Aion, never mind, Demik has his one.
If he finds two then that just adds to the stat of that when Demik finds a 2k or better.
Having a 70% win rate for Trippie, but no, I mean it's no one player from the Koreans
that are doing the heavy lifting, Demik will get his 2k and the stat increases.
It's almost a team ace for Trippie Man Telecom as they somehow win the first round when they
probably shouldn't have.
I think the plus they they heard the player the whole minds that are allowed to that drone and they thought okay
Four versus two in the bomb side. Let's hit it super fast
The only problem is only two of the four attackers actually managed to get to the bomb side one guy dropping down blue hatch
One guy close walking down. I think I've been on the bar hatch actually and it created this awkward moment where
It didn't really get the rest of the players into the mix of the battle
So it became a 2v2 the thing that's waiting for you to live going down
down. Meanwhile, Iron is here and lounge fighting them instead of blue. So it felt like either
in the moment play from the individuals or just a bad timing for the set of the blasts.
Also, I know on Kairi Teresida Yuri died that way.
For sure. Look, Yuri dying not the end of the world because midi traded back for two,
but yeah, I mean, I didn't notice it at the time, but I noticed on the read by the castle
got killed onto falls who was solo pushing into church from Moto on the glass at like
in an off-pace position, and that was just before the other player walked in and died
in blue.
So I don't know who made the call from V plus, but if there was like, who do you call, hey
they're roaming heavy, they've got that castle set up, we can rush into site, we can make
this work.
But the problem is, if it's disjointed like that, then all it takes is falls getting picked
off and no trade, and the round is completely busted and you just blundered a 4v3.
That's the problem with like taking a risky gunfight, making a risky play when you're already in advantage, like typically the risks pay dividends more than the more indeficent you are and D plus took the unnecessary risk when they're at edge.
Well the confidence still for Tribute is exactly what you need, right? An early victory in terms of a round against D plus. And guys, oh these guys are nothing dude, we can beat these guys and it's impressive.
Take that momentum.
Yeah, it's an improvement over last day.
They got 7-0ed by D-plus last time.
Stands on the wrong side though, Yuri did not like dying first in the previous,
so he gets the first skill to make up for it in the second.
Ruling off there shortly after and in the first 60 seconds this round,
it is falling apart for Trumint Telecom.
Yeah, and it's rough now, well, even before I unfound that, going to Aracaze.
Because D-plus have a breach onto the bomb site,
and they can really put pressure on all of the avenues on the bomb site and off of it at the same time.
Temptation to jump out here, but unfortunately, although she does find one, he gets traded back by the claymour.
Demik has now got to get an ace.
1v4.
And he will find nothing.
D plus, looking much more rock solid in that second round.
I love the concept of the Assami jumping out the window to then go for the trade game, but there was a claymour, and then his teammate got the kill.
So it's like Assami didn't need to jump out, didn't need to die.
I don't know if we got there was his team and the solos got the kill swinging the master bedroom window at the same time
Maybe you can argue that you know a summit did some damage and therefore it helped out
But it's a hedgehog kill so it chicken didn't matter. It's funny
But it's a good thing though that trippy did it together. I like the okay, right?
It's like it wasn't a solo play in the 2v4
It was a 2v1 it tried to do the right thing and hoping for them to trade one for one worst case scenario
They also maybe didn't check with the solar scanner in the beginning if there actually was a claymore
Maybe they thought it was clear
But I like the fact that they tried to go for the play together
Good sign
Even the push
I mean the fundamentals of siege do stuff together
Such an underrated skill and like we see even six
Invitational champions grand finals like we we still see teams like lose because they didn't play together
even at the highest level. And you see teams even in bloody casual games where
because they play together they won the round. It's just one of the fundamentals
of Siege and look it's important a lot of shooter games but I've been thinking
recently about how different Siege is to other shooters and you know I feel like
we play Siege a lot and if you really just play Siege you kind of forget how
different it is to other games and you go and play a bunch of other tactical
FPS games and you're like oh my god it functions so different and this game is just so much more
punishing. So also one of the things about Tiki's is probably one of the FPS games that has the least
transferable skills in terms of mechanics right? Soft destruction, reinforcement, prep phase,
like how the game works in almost every single aspect. You go to them play any other set of
the FPS games like none of that transcends. I'm sure you're positioning your game since your
Understanding of recoil control, but it's still standing down. Oh, it can't stop
Only in that it doesn't give a chance to a bunch
Even if each throw has come from a different game successfully as far as I know. Wow, that's a great start
I've never thought of that. I've never thought about that before, but you're absolutely right
No, so any guys try and go for an valorant only made it to a tier two then kind of gave up
You know port neck and see a school pros they could just jump game take the vibe and just keep transferring those skills, but not to seed right
I'm not probably no
The class here is keeping a monthy if they
New news to hold this position if you find that kill
Misses the shop, but on the repeat finds it here comes the impact EMP was to try to take the fight up close
Of personal might be able to do so indeed here
goes down and still Munu has managed to survive despite d-plus marching their way forward from the
other side of the map he has held down the fort on the bomb site the shotgun cannot
deliver for dochi and now munu is in an awkward spot he's got to do so much more after already
having such a big impact in the round arokaze the last one left iron finishes him off d-plus
swimmingly on that second round disgusting crossfires right there from the con windmill in cctv and by
by the office wall. Triple crossfire onto construction, getting two kills in the round
there, combined for the team. Very decisive into the round, but Munu on that jacuzzi wall
getting both the Monty and the player behind him for two kills for the cost of zero. That
should have been the round winning moment for Trippie. The frontal attack or the defensive
attack on the jacuzzi wall, very successful, but then they're trying to bite off more than
they could chew on the other side of the map. In the perfect world, you kind of get those
kills with the clash, you fall back on the other side. Once clash is gotten those kills,
you pick up the shield, you run over and you help. Now you're strong on every area of the
map. And I think that's probably the hardest thing fighting up against your D plus, your
CAC by barrel, is individually all five of your opponents are so strong in the server,
whereas other opponents they have like two crazy frackers, two mechanical players that
can win 1v1s, but then they have like a little bit of a weaker player, the IGL supportive
cast they can't quite hang in those gunfights. It's about the trippy putting the right people
in the right like fighting positions to ensure you get some good guns against the opponent.
I mean I see continued rotating the bomb sites I said I would talk about the fuse tech from
FET on the C.C.T.V. but look we didn't get to see any action actually around casual C.C.T.V.
Sorry, I didn't really get a chance to talk about it.
I'll wait until the next prep phase on the Calf CCT build.
Then I'll talk about it.
Sure.
Let's talk about Nohr.
Okay.
Nohr has been brought into this round as a shoot counter.
No one on good quarantine.
And we've seen...
How would you mix results with Nohr?
It's a...
It's a kind of hit you when it worked.
I think it was with Xenon.
Yeah, it was with Clubhouse on Garrus' tour, no?
We got a kill happen?
Maybe there was a jeg, or with you.
I think that was when you were cheating on me with guzz, and then I casted nore when I was cheating on you with jeg.
So I casted white.
I started with on bank, and it like, he absolutely got killed.
There are a couple of things that have to work out for the nore pig to be activated, right?
You as a defender will pick the operator, and then you have to hope that the attackers pick a shield.
Otherwise interaction is not going to happen, first of all.
Secondly, if you go roaming with the Nohr Operator and they go for a Bumsat Rush, guess what?
You're not in the right spot, you cannot use the gadget. Likewise, if you're on the Bumsat, but to go for room clear,
you can save yourself a story.
So you need to have the Orators picked on both sides, the Nohr in the shield,
and you gotta meet each other somewhere in the middle of the map to have the gadget work out.
But it works pretty much like a
shootable boom item. You shoot it into the shield off the attacker and they got a hold F and pull it out of the shield.
Otherwise, they'll burn just like on this hatch right now and die in about three or so seconds.
We end up now seeing months inside a dead tunnel.
I would yell, FEMIC! I need help over here!
This basically tricking the model hatch still to this moment.
Gadget the hand right now, as it can actually destroy hard destruction through a hatch or through a wall.
I don't know if this is worth it, bro. This is just like a worse version of Tuber Al.
Yeah, I feel like a pre-fire, that's the awkward part, because it's such a slow, activating gadget and reinforced wall.
We have to shoot before they use it.
He's got two gadgets. Look, if he rotates now and plays the AK's position, in the late round, he can beat Yuri on the Monty, but if he doesn't play in that position, he's not used another one of his gadgets.
Yeah. He's just using two barricades there, stalling half a time, and if you look away, it's just singing along wholly. Getting a Nord gadget on Monty and dirt tunnels should be a free killer trade risky scenario.
It would have to fall all the way back.
In this late round, so I mean, he should at least save one gadget here from the door.
It is the only way to stop Yuri dead in his tracks.
Falls would go down, but ML and Moonoo have now fallen as well.
And I mean, the backstab here from Niddy has been massively impactful.
Even though he's traded, the damage he did from Blue has now made this round unwinnable.
In the end, Demek will die before he uses the Nord gadget on the Monty in its goat sheet.
In a 1v3 they know exactly where he is and Yuri in the end was able to march in from dirt tunnel
Sadly, it feels like a missed opportunity for Demik and the Norpik
Of course slated to be a Monty counter while he is good for hatches
It just feels like a waste of chance and now Yuri can actually lock Dochi out of church with his own Goyo fire
In this 1v1 you only feel like it's a matter of time before Yuri gets out of his pistol and tries to take this fight himself
I'll leave this waiting for those jobs here as either what's going to happen is going to be
levee waiting. Let's get the Dmars a little good prefire there. Phenol around for D plus once again
and if you don't stop them and don't go for a counterplay strategically they will take the round
simply on paper. So like we say that if that Monty is a big win condition taking dirt control
you really want to see the Nord being utilized as they respond to that rather than trying to trick
that modal hatch because in the end that gives them absolutely no real value. Trippi will lose
that round and call a technical timeout and talk about what they're going to do going to these
optimal rounds.
QT Intest music, you son. It's getting serious now.
Trippy started good on that defensive baseman. They lost the initial roam exchange in that
very first round and he yet won the round because D plus tried to go for a little bit
of an off-paced play and Trippie won. Now, D-plus seem to be less interested in taking
risks and with the Monty Knot banned as the tertiary ban here from Trippie, they need
to have a way of dealing with it and I know that I sound like I'm beating a dead horse
here, Pengu, but it just feels like such a waste to go and pick that gnaw and then use
it as a tuber out instead of using it to actually fight onto dirt tunnel control. I mean, like,
Look, if it was all that you need to change, like, do the exact same strat, you can keep the Goyo fire and then also have your Noir playing in that position, so he can be the one to peel back, shoot the Goyo, and then shoot the Monty with his Noir gadget, it just delays so much more time, or gets the kill.
Missed opportunity. I would have gone straight back down to the basement, man.
I've only played my placements and I've played six games just under six games because one
of them I was actually beating a cheetah and then I like, accusated him in the chat
and he was like laughing at me and stuff and then he got banned on matchpoint.
And so the game didn't actually hit him.
So I've technically played six games but one of them didn't count, but I won my first
game top-firing and I lost all my other placements and I got placed in Platte, so I was pretty
sad about that.
What?
You lost four games in a minute to Platte?
Yeah.
Platte?
Five I think it was?
Oh I mean I was playing against Platte's and Emerald's in my games.
And you lost them in Georgia?
I top-firing like every game.
I've got, you know he said, I top fragged the first game and I won it and then I lost 4 games in a row.
He never mentioned you top fragged every game.
I can't remember the fragging exactly, but you know, I was like,
Oh, he went for the top frags. I was a bit of an enemy.
I top fragged the first game 100%. Also, I had goaded, because I solo-ed you to all my games.
I had goaded teammates in the first one. Like, they didn't really have brains, but they had ears, which was nice.
Okay, now you've been to teammates as well, check.
People didn't have ears or brains in the other.
So I was like a gamer from champion lost three games. I was done in four. Okay, great. Very fun
Then I took a break and had a secret mission last night. So
Well, I love the sniper squad rolling out here glass coming into support the carly both of them find kills
This is one hell of a way to come to life here the d-plus on the defensive
on the offensive I should say, but the Deagle might work out for Doji! It's a
trip dig! And now D-plus are on the defensive as the Izami has single-handedly
wrenched this game back into the realm of possibility for Trippy. What do we just
see? Those just popped off getting all the kills of the Deagle playing a good
positional game. Maybe we'll take him to that gym window. Admits you on the main
stage. He's trying to capture him there in between them. When he's positioning strong,
He shouldn't die outside the window
Lovey has been targeted now 3v1 don't you will be trading finally mid he has to clutch up
There is time to make this happen. No you till
Fortunately for him Demik still has a nitro cell in pocket
All could rotate and drop my fruit hasn't decided to get that diffuser yet
But the time has ticked away. You can't afford to pay when he only has a few moments left to go
Demik has the shotgun Demik should surely win this I mean despite a phenomenal start in the round for D plus a
Big triple with the Diggle from Dochi brings it back
He single-handedly won that round for Trippie and well now they found a second round on the board
Gunning for three at the end of the half. It'd be a huge upgrade the Trippie man telecom
It's not even that D plus and making huge mistakes right now, right?
You might be thinking where was the window player outside to kill Dochi inside a gym?
Well, that was the first guy who died the Kalia or whatever so he injured the guy who's playing balcony then flows and takes the
Accord position inside a gym and then you can play on this weight position and get to do the coach of the after
So again, it's not because missing something in the server
It was trippy individual here from docci making the heroic play and just keep going from one more one more one more
until eventually get shot down
Each last day. I'm not gonna say that this was speaking to me
I think they're playing pretty well and giving it like a good like 85 90% effort
I think against CHE by Verrill they would I say I waited for that push get a second guy on the balcony to then capitalize to be one
The fact that should be a holding on right now as you could sign for them and it's on clubhouse
There's no easy map to win especially on defense
I'm glad to see the trip you're going back down to the basement here funnily enough
What operator have they decided to get rid of for this round, Pengu?
So many operators they could have gone with.
They've gone back to the castle and got rid of the north.
Why?
Why?
Bring that north!
These guys are insta-locking Monty every single round except for one.
Except for two, I should say.
The gym bedroom attacks, they didn't play Monty.
Every other round they played Monty, man.
I mean, yeah, and Yuri has got, oh, he's right there from behind, and Dochi, again,
Don't you keep up that firepower of taking early fights?
Yours only got a single or kills. It's a mostly objective base. Maybe they don't really feel the pressure
Because of it like it feels like once he exists sure
But no one's bothered by him. No one's dying to him individually and therefore I kind of went undiscussed
Not sure what the reasoning is but
It's the last round of the half anyway, so all that matters at the moment is the Rome
Clear, Midi wins his fight, he's so good on the entry.
And that does mean that the scales of tips now, Trippy, lost two, only got the one killed.
And I mean, Solid Snake is great at all times, especially for the start of the round for expediting
that Rome Clear, so now that they've achieved that, the loss of the Solid Snake is at the
end of the world.
I'm sure we'll be able to have a gnaw knowing that you can eventually be executing with the Monty coming your way.
I was like, he's stumbling up dirt.
I just one choice of trying to stall out the Monty. One way to do it.
Also a little small trick there with the Castle Barricade, right?
If any of you choose to keep holding F and hold down a Castle Barricade from the door or window,
it will go back in the pocket of Castle across the map.
If you break it by punching it and tapping it then it's destroyed, if you don't, but if you rip down the barricade you can castle trick.
So let's see how it counts, it didn't have a castle barricade, you know guys,
can someone rip down a castle barricade right now, and then you can then close off the dirt channel door.
Against him though, there's gonna be both the Skyros, Sophia, and the Stetchanel, so if you wanna deal with that castle barricade in the tunnel, they absolutely can and absolutely will.
Really, it's just a matter of time now for D-plus. They just have to make sure they keep you making gradual progress.
And that certainly helps out. Great work from Levy to make feed holes with the Hibana.
And then, with the try and isolate that player with the kill.
No nitrate here for Demik, which means that as soon as the drop comes through from Yuri, there's pretty much nothing that can be done.
Nice kill out of the bottom of the main stairs here from Arakaze.
Smokes come out. Ooh, nice kill out of the player on the hatch as well. Levy goes down.
that so does the diffuser. Yuri takes a hell of a damage and finished off making it a 1v1.
The fall is able to finish off Arakaze. No Nitro still for Demik.
It means that this is going to be a tough 1v1. He has a choice to make as he go upstairs
or as he try and defuse and indeed he will try to run upstairs caught on the roadside
doing so by falls as we cap off the half for D plus four two.
The question is, have D plus stolen this lead from Trippie or have they just followed it so far?
I'm diamond one.
I think they've earned it, so they have a good lead by being the better team and by being
diamond one.
I actually think FALL has cried a lot on ranked last I checked.
Really?
FALL's.
Yeah, hold on. Let me go. Let's run up the numbers like you wouldn't think it but falls paid the most of second most ranked
I think it was last stage, you know what we need
We need a leaderboard a worldwide leaderboard, but it's only for pro players in tier one and it's just they're ranked stats and
It's just so that we can say he's the best ranked player in tier one
Well, that's why we get legend division, right?
True, but that won't just be tier 1 players, there'll be players who won it.
For example, there are some 15 year olds out there that can't play Pro League, but I'm
sure insanely good at the game and as good as pro players.
I'm looking for new ways to try and lock the pro players that went past it.
For example, by saying, hey, it turns out that you actually have the same stats as Ace
of Pyrite.
Then like, or Zell, so why are you freeing shade towards Ace of Pyrite?
How did this happen?
I'm just using using my ring stacks man. He's a nice tax. We do that's I'm not having a go at ace
I would I would say the same about any of us casters, right?
Uh-huh. You don't have all cast team. Well, you specifically mentioned him as the first ninja king to mine
Well, because that sounds like just obviously ace is a very prolific
Like I know he plays rank. I was gonna say Jake Zenox, but I know that he doesn't play right
But he had the path to crawl
That's pretty good.
And who rated that part?
I'm not a fan of that.
Touche, Touche.
I really enjoyed the content piece.
It's always fun to laugh at others while you have no stakes in it yourself.
I had to play against him, dude.
I was sweating.
I couldn't sleep the night before.
I was like, I can't.
I can't lose this guy.
It would be embarrassing.
I gotta keep my credit, you know?
I was more nervous than Paris Major 2018,
or playing in that 2B2 with no...
I mean, probably the 2B2.
Paris Major was a bit of a start.
We're gonna rock, we're gonna take every name in the book, who's a single map the entire tournament,
there was one of those dominant.
In the TV too, I guess, you had everything to lose and nothing to gain.
Yeah, and I was on 300 ping with everything to lose, I couldn't play the game in the normal way,
you had to pre-fire every time you fight and whatnot.
But I had a good companion with me, I picked Noah, so we went up against a Jake and Player.
The team secret let him, because they let him play with you or is that a violation of army?
I don't know, I just asked the friend if he wanted to play and the friend said yes, that's it.
That's all I know.
Like if you want something in life, right, then you know, you do it and then you ask for forgiveness, you know?
Ask for forgiveness.
Yeah, you know, there's a saying in Denmark that's kind of like, if you want the bike, don't wish for it, if you want it, you take it, and you ask for a gift after.
We have bike country, you know?
So you're saying just steal the bike, you steal bikes in Denmark?
No, I would never condone stealing. I'm just saying that's a saying, okay?
That's it.
I would never ever ever condone myself.
Wink.
Our bike.
Oh, there's an angle.
Almost the fight.
You see, I am really...
He knows, like, it's nice if he gets some damage on here, but it's not worth committing
to a gunfight, even if it is a 50-50 that he might win it, just because if he loses his
position, then that gives a gap to Trippie.
By the way, I'm not running the Monty for Dirt Tunnel, and that means that Falls has
got full control of it himself.
They're gonna go elsewhere, they'll look up the boots and stare at me to the middle
Hp and I'll seem sorry. We're waiting for Moodle right now on the base to activate, but it's
going to doji and down at the first bit, but all the attackers are soloing health.
Yeah, that they are, but still they find the bombs one by one. They find themselves
all the way in the bombsite and planting before Yuri is able to sneak through and deny it. 20
seconds to play. Tripping need to make sure that whatever happens, every kill from here on out
is traded, and the traps in the bombsite make it much harder for him to make an entry. Meeting
now 1 HP, the last alive in a 1v4, waiting for the backstab to come on through, takes
down Dochi, quickly traded back by Demik, and Trippie main, Teleko.
I have a third round on the board, coming through with their first attack.
I'm in very good attack against fit theory, main stairs, cage and hatch, motor door,
blue backstab as well, and they find the individual pigs, they hold the crossfires together,
and no one is kind of scared to take the fights during that execute.
That was with Mulu on the bitstying super early. No one else felt that pressure like oh my god
Now I can't go for push. No, you still have to continue marching on forward
It's a really good decisive first round there on this split
E plus I think a little bit surprised by the this year aggression
They're playing super passive very shell tier being all they're not gonna execute us on time
We got go you five. We got the nine days. There's no shot that can go for this and they did
So maybe a bit of a switch up now.
E plus.
Surprisingly enough, I should go for a CCTV on the second round of defense, which is very unusual.
Especially since they don't even bring a bandit, for example, that has me left open.
So they're trying to hide on my band.
So they've got a mirror window that can step on the external wall, and then they have no real hard wing conditions.
They have a single asifo for pan denial, and they can play cattle grocers.
That's really all they have to work with.
So they're playing cattle grocers without my Eager as well, by the way, with the show.
Yeah, yeah, so it's not bad makes things scary, but you look at the lineup. We don't have maids on
I wonder we have two sets of names. Yeah
Yeah, I think that's why should get flashbangs of fear stones
You could double flash with the feast of a clearing and you get double grenades anyway
Like what six frag grenades, right?
I mean, we got some a document that you can just burn the ADS with the frag grenade anyway
Exactly, I mean back in the day when you've got three flashbangs that only two grenades
it made sense to run flashes for burn-o the maids, but don't drop them. Take the extra set of maids,
or I take the capitol, you kill the smoke to burn, and the fire is actually better than the grenades,
arguably. Hey, that's one up the end deed. You pick the thatcher, you impede the whole thing,
and then you just touch your grenades. Oh man, there are 266s. There's just so many ways to do
the same thing these days, which is awesome. You're trying to get good at all of them.
That's a nice beauty.
That's her coming on out.
Let's see.
Yuri.
The shield's clear.
And also against the shields and defenses.
No support now.
He's done big trouble.
That's a big trouble.
Yeah, he is in big trouble and he does get taken down by Arkaze, but Levy is quick there
to trade him back.
Shocker up in his face as Levy was traded on back.
So D-Flast lose the exchange for now.
Well, from the expected, that shook up the means there gaze because it was the defenders closing the gap for levy, but he gets shot down in that close call engagement.
Game was shoddy, the lion flashbangs, they got all the tricks up their sleeves.
This is the best game that Trippie have actually played so far this stage.
I mean, look, they lost to Cag, few excellent scars.
So they've had the three toughest opponents outside of maybe D plus and Kina trope thus far.
But the closest game Trippie have played was actually a 3-7 loss.
So if they find this round win which they're looking like they might do, that's the best result of the stage.
Oh, he's doing the popping right now.
Oh, bad timing.
Runaan's team damaged. Runaan gets the kill though eventually, but this is T-plus desperately trying to lash back out and getting...
Oh, why?
...all in for a couple of kills.
It's working.
Runaan was very low on HP as well. Demyc took that gunfight when perhaps he didn't need to, gave eye on a chance to bring it back.
Now, it really just comes down to hitting one down below.
Down below looking for some vertical pressure and moon who is very low HP on the blackbeard
In a 2v2
We don't have the numbers. They don't have the HP and now they lost their blackbeard
Are you kidding me? This was such an advantageous round for them and now it looks to be sadly Peter it now
Same thing against the win condition also loses the ground the aggression the constant fighting their mindset from trippy a
A good start. It could be a very bad ending to this round. 1v2 with 20 seconds to go.
Now it's just waiting, waiting, looking for a chance and falls with the low angle on the TCSG.
Him and Ion together, lock in the round, falls. Feels like he's really come into form this stage.
Despite some of the top frags, the D-plus, departing the roster coming into stage two,
the new players and the old guard alike can fill those shoes. A big round there for D-plus,
One that trippy probably should have won after that run clear, but two rounds in the lead now on their defensive side
Also very dangerous and the two-way to their demos downstairs in lounge
The BP solo and construction and the downside of that is you can just run down any shield operator with two separate defenders
No one that the demos can't help him. So that's exactly what happened
Balls and Ion surrendered the bomb side. They chased him knowing that Enna was downstairs and couldn't help him and being a shield
You're not gonna have to gun out the entire time. So you're not really ready for gun that happens out of nowhere
So trippy again very small mistakes in the mid to late round but such a strong start to it and
With every round that goes by I think D plus Kia can be more and more prepared for those opening engagements
not syncing Yuri solo on the mirror window. Not having anybody in like ice and spots unable to get a rotation back towards the bomb site.
And if the going gets really tough here after the third round, they can start playing Flash if it goes on ban.
That'll change everything, because that sole operator for Flash can shut down these pushes.
I saw Fuse teased out for a brief moment. I know it's not CCTV, but there is a top red setup. Can I do my little Fuse vet tech?
Alright, Observer, I'm not sure who's on today, but can we get a top-down view looking over CCTV in top red if you can hear me?
Maybe you can't hear me? I don't know how you can say that.
Yes, legend! Alright, so if you put, funnily enough, a secondary hard breach Tink can opener exactly where Gochi has the ball on,
and a fuse charge just to the right of it, to detonate the fuse charge right after you pop the Tink can,
then one of the pups lands right at the hard wall, and then after the Tink can opener explodes,
It blows that fuse park exactly to where Yuri is standing right now actually a little bit deeper towards the top of the stairs
Pass that deployable shield
So you can actually land one or two fuse parks at the top of red and kill people who are there
Which is exactly what happened to set one of his ranked games and then he managed to recreate it in a custom as well
So it does seem to be reproducible tech and well, I don't know if it would be classified as an unintended
exploit or not. I want to see someone do it
Shadow, Aluna on the ups as well.
It's again, there's a lot of take and sees that if you go into constant games and spend
a couple of hours and min-max it out, you use some crazy stuff, but applying it in a live
round, when the intent behind it actually come into life, it's very tricky to do, because
the enemy has to play into it, you gotta do it correctly, and all the things have to come
together.
This could be often a tribute to the two secret armor testers inside the building.
breach there from the ace on the wall where the mirror window was and now there are very
few places to sit safely on the bomb site for D plus that said they happen to lash out they found
two pigs doing so finally traded back but they're gonna go deep get aggressive on the back of that
and with that trippy main telecom I lost completely 1v4 about to be a 1v5 as falls gets picked up
and dochi doesn't have diffuser and there's nowhere near that bomb site
I mean, this is one of those unwinnable moments, right?
Yes, false as low on HP, people are fighting while you're chasing, you're running at you,
you don't just have to reload first, doesn't even find the first pick up to Uri, a flawless
Vrallon for D plus, they have finally adapted and learned their lessons from the first
of defensive Vrallons and now it seems like they are fully countering Trippie's playstyle.
With that, it's a 6-3, so unfortunately for Trippie, right when I said hey there, about
to finally break through and do better than three rounds in one game the best
that they've done in the whole stage to now they are fumbling it but the bands
are about to come through what a trippy get rid of that's my question that can
get rid of his army okay good operator islands been banging at it every single
round so far but with the solar snake band I wonder if D plus will just lead
him to the room even more heavy yes it can go to Asia either you go into the
more heavy or you can just kind of stall a lot of time like you can have D plus
not room at all and it's gonna spend so much more time not droning because
others thinking to have like skip the droning skip or like you said you go into
the room more heavily because this was they can find you in this game most
you should go break it's considerate it does feel like there are other ways of
getting that kind of job done I think he plus this open lineup it's gonna be
about the fallback straps they might have a guy stop maybe blue staircase
main staircase, killer drone and fallback, but you really have nobody that's expendable.
Maybe in a way Force and Gullio put on all his passive util or live on the thorn,
but this basement bomb site is all about covering all the angles. Worrying about
motor board, kitchen hatch, third tunnel, blue hallway and blue staircase and bottom main.
That's six different areas and just counting with my fingers and listed them out right.
With having all five defenders alive, you still have one gap and that's where you put
the barbed wire, the guillot canister, the thorn trap so that if they go into the area they're not looking
you do get a bit of a sound cue that hey guys i need to pay attention to this area instead
the trap here from ion by the way he's the guy who has been playing that azami
he's uh i think he's tossed out one
he actually hasn't got many of his gadgets thrown out at all including some on the stairs
He was going to put one underneath the window, which would make it very hard to jump in, especially if you're a chill operator.
You see the set up there. So the narrow lasers on both the staircases leading to blue and bar fire as well.
Goyle fire. Then the race up thorns from Levy are still going to be in pocket.
We're going to be used mid-rallys in adaptive gadget rather than a passive gadget.
gadget. This will be D-plus head devonkering. Everything that's in the
basement, the pre-reinforced a triple church wall which is very unusual,
normally it's gonna be a rotate there, and you can just trick it with Mitty. So if all
goes well to plan, right? Church tripled will never be opened up, not an area of
contest. That makes the motor door a lot more scary than attacker because you
have no other way of applying pressure when you're stuck in a small box. Blue is
heavily fortified with gadget and intel and sound use. That means D-plus can put
more attention towards the hatches and towards the tunnel with more gun power.
So again, this is how they're trying to meet the base and bomb site, defendable, essentially.
It's a good setup, but the double shields shot here from Trippy could come through big.
There's not easy to hard reach on that softball piece, and it goes to the DMR, let him open
that up.
There he comes through to try and clear as much util, hopefully the Vulcan canisters in
particular.
feel like with double shields your best strat is probably going through a kitchen
execute if you need to take dirt control that's the big concern nice nitro idea
there for midi but doesn't land I think that we need to see either the blitz or
the blackbeard or both try and take control of dirt tunnel as soon as
possible because that's going to be needed to be able to keep things to be
kitchen but the moment seems like trippy a
poisoning actually for a church execute down this motor hatch which to me seems
a lot scarier. I think they've pre-cold the strat early on rather than adapting the middle
of the round. You see this now, the panic settling in. Okay, we cannot go for the original plan
because we do have that bandit bansering that brought us triple reinforce. We gotta flip the
entire attack. But mind you, on the blue side of things, they have their tripwires in Denari.
They have the barbed wire, and every spiral traps us without a swirl.
And now the Vulcan fire is detonated as well. Damage onto Isle, but not enough to flush him
out of his position as of yet. We need nades, we need some utility here. What is going on?
Is NL AFK though? Woke it up, but again the glaive comes out. It could deal some damage,
but we've seen it before. The DK are fighting every single one of the kills, and one by one,
Trippy will fall to the wayside. D-plus back in form, and the dominant 7-3 to finish off Trippy
and rocket themselves back up the standings again. They remain undefeated here in APAC North.
So, such a great display of utilizing all the traps in the intel, information operators
there at the end saying hey we know the fight is going to be happening, keeping some traps
in pocket so that when they fit the attack, you can then cover motor door in case you
go for another back step later on and then just fire you together.
From the set of trippy, it's like an adaptation in the mid-round and you know the attack style
is like oh guys, we're going for a Moto Triple attack, okay?
They do the full roam clear, they do all the breaching and then they realize we cannot
stole for a motor triple attack, now with 50 seconds left and no drones, no utils, we need to find something else.
There's a panic, they pushed blue, and that was the trap.
That was when D plus were going to be the strongest all that round.
So Trippy had a lot of good showcases, a lot of good moments individually,
but at the end of the day, when D plus tried 110%,
they showed just how much of a level there is between these two rosters.
That's exactly right, I mean D plus, such an experienced team, such a confident team at this point,
And, you know, they don't seem to scourge whatsoever by struggling to break out of that
top two position all year long here in APAC North.
They're still farming against the bottom feeders here in this league and sadly Trippie remain
one of those teams.
For a brief moment, it looked like they were going to find a fourth round.
They were going to break three of the shuttles of that 7-3 curse that has seemed to haunt
them the last couple of weeks.
I mean, we talked about it before the show as well.
that team that has faced the most 7-0s and 7-1s of any team that I can think of in 8 back as a whole.
I mean, they've lost 7-0 or 7-1 five times across stage 1 and stage 2 alone,
and sadly, they couldn't find more than 3 rounds here today, even though there were a few good rounds
when they were on that defensive side, and even one good round on the attacking side.
But D-plus, Stantor looking solid, and particularly Ion, the new addition alongside Yuri,
seems really in peak form to D-Class.
And with that tribute, I mean, Dochi, this guy was popping off winning rounds individually and saying,
you know what, we need a bit of aggression. I will be that kind of player.
And having the confidence to do that consistently against D-Class on the best teams in the region,
that can be a really good look for Dochi and tribute going forward.
They can kind of keep building towards that playstyle and maybe supporting me a bit more.
So it's not a solo play, but a team play that gets those little fingers.
I can't hear the name Dochi without thinking about the rapper and all her songs going through my head. It's amazing. I love it.
At least I can say, look at the Korean scene, right? It's very hard to find new talent.
That's why we see players like Annelle and Shyle keep coming into these rosters.
Players that kind of peep a few years ago, they keep bringing it back because sadly, there's just not a lot of talent developing in that region.
So it is nice when a player that I hadn't heard about before he joined Trippie in Dochi starts to make a little bit of a name for himself
But I mean the road forward is tough for Trippie. I'm looking ahead
Kina Trope, BME and then double Rx
I think there's one to two wins
Upcoming and the coming weeks for Trippie, but on the flip side of that
Let's talk about D plus and let's hear from the man himself on the D plus side
Always a pleasure to get chat to falls
Congrats on another dominant win. You remain undefeated.
You look like you're having a lot of fun in the server.
What's the vibe like in the boys' environment?
Hello guys, one more time.
And the vibe is pretty good.
Like as you said, I think we are playing really consistently.
And even with the old lineup was something that sometimes we struggle against like weaker teams
in the normal stage, normal stage.
So, I think this is pretty good. This gives a lot of confidence for everyone in the team.
So yeah, pretty happy.
Did you feel as if Trippie actually called you guys a little bit by surprise today?
There were a couple of rounds where they were being super aggressive, they were in your face.
On the attack they had two rush rounds and then on defense they were just holding onto the roam game for so long.
Don't you get in three D2 kills for example?
Was that surprised to you? Or is it just Trippie playing really well in those moments?
Yeah, they got us off guard a little bit.
They played different than the reviews we had from them, and of course it's good, we
got some rounds, and especially the playstyle, we are not expecting them to be like this
kind of forward, you know, we are expecting more of a backward game.
So yeah, I think it was good action for them, but we were able to keep on and just have
of the reading in the middle of the rounds and close the match.
I know we're still in the group stage,
you don't want to look too far ahead,
but the focus really for you guys as a team is the goals,
where you want to be as a team
is competing on the international stage.
We saw what you were able to achieve last season,
particularly with the performance of sixth location,
like incredible showing from you guys,
and it felt like it could have gone even deeper,
but you took a win over Shopify,
you got a map off the phase,
I think you really made a name for yourselves at SI,
But then it's hard because you compete in a region where there's only one spot to the majors, right?
So second place failed to qualify for Solic City, second place in stage one failed to qualify for EWC.
The Osaka major is coming up and I'm sure a lot of people are looking at a Japanese team to take that, probably CAG to go there.
Like, how does it feel kind of in a way being kind of in the shadow because you are a Brazilian roster competing in APAC,
knowing that it's an APAC major coming up.
I know that there's a Brazilian six-invitational in just a few months.
Does that change the pressure or the perspective of the team,
knowing that there's all these other factors rattling around in the background?
Yeah, like, at least for me, I don't think it changes.
Like, of course, that's a little bit of pressure, but I also like it, you know,
because it's something else you have to fight for, you know?
This gives you a boost, like, or it's not a normal in Six-Invitational, for example.
is a Brazil 16th edition, and we need to get the spot
to Saka Major, because it's really important.
And I believe that the team feels the same way, you know?
And like we are doing what we always did the best way.
We put a lot of work.
We worked so much to reviewing the teams like preparation.
We actually, I forgot the word in English, but effort.
We put a lot of effort on it.
So I'm pretty confident.
And we need to trust our work, you know,
We trust our work or daily work.
And yeah, and I think we are pretty confident.
Yeah, I think I already answered the question.
Yeah, you did.
You did a great job as always.
It's always a pleasure to talk to you.
I'd love to give you the mic.
And you know, if you want to do any of your TikTok dances,
please feel free.
Yeah, unfortunately TikTok dances
are being recorded like before screen time.
So I cannot have like some take you
at your help or something, you know?
So it's actually being hard.
I think my performance would be better if I had a little bit of alcohol.
But yeah, I'm happy you guys enjoyed it.
Yeah, we loved it.
Before we close up, anything you want to say to the fans back home?
The APAC fans, but also of course the fans back home in Brazil?
Yeah, I would say, I would like to say thank you for my family, my sister and my mom.
Always giving me my support.
And I'll be plus fans.
I always give a lot of good message and everything.
So, yeah.
Alright, thank you Falls, Atalaga, and yeah, chat to you later. Bye.
Thank you guys.
Why did I get so nervous when I just tried to say like two words in Portuguese?
Yeah, immediately.
I turned it red like a tomato immediately.
I'm like, oh, we're interviewing in Brazilian.
I can practice and then immediately got embarrassed.
My bad. Let's start just squeeze past that one straight away.
Great win for D-Puzz.
Next up, no, Pengu, it's a big clash.
It's of course, it's two Japanese teams.
and looking the best at the moment and looking like they are competing most closely for that upcoming
Asaka Major. That's right, it's Kage by Varyl, the Japanese favorite, going up against
a very hot-looking Skars coming up after this break.
I just remember playing ranked one day and I got a message from president literally saying
you want to try off my team and they were like the best challenge league team at the
time and I was just a ranked player so I think having that sort of connection elevated my
name a little bit compared to the rest of the people.
Esports is a very big who you know.
There's a lot of friendship teams and even playing ranked like it's all about you know
if you're friends with the other pros and stuff and I think it definitely helped my
my pathway to Pro just having a brother in that existing esports community because as
soon as I started playing ranked I was saying who am I? It's a Seijun's brother. So I think
that for me personally and I think that for a few other people esports communities are
really really helpful to become a pro player basically. When I first joined Challenger League
I think that I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Even throughout the first stage
of Challenger League I think I don't even think I got more than like seven kills in
an official for the entire stage but like my teammates just trusted me and I used that
first stage is the sort of learning curve and then I think we qualified for Oceanic Nationals
in 2022 and that was the first time that I got to play against like the big teams back then which
were like Knights, Wildcard or now sort of thing. Playing against them was like such a surreal feeling
and it's a really big adjustment but yeah I think it took me like at least a year to get into
sort of competitive play. That first year of 2022 my goal was just to be competitive against the
best because that's what I thought was sort of the one I needed to do as a pro. Throughout that year
I then got picked up to Bliss and once I joined Bliss it kind of elevated to the next level
and I could feel myself sort of surpassing some of the current pro players and that was
like the most amazing feeling and that's what like encouraged me to keep going and now it's like
I want to do that at an international level. I think the biggest challenge for me at the
moment is taking that next step. It's actually like the challenge that I'm currently on is taking
the step from an OCG player to an international siege pro player because we don't get the
the opportunities that teams in Europe and Brazil, for example, get.
So like the only time that we get to prove ourselves against the best is at an international event,
if we even make it.
So I feel for an host player, they would all say the same thing,
that that's the biggest challenge is taking our next step.
And you can't even go, you're not breaking it, why can't it go?
They thought they told me it couldn't be good
And you can't even take it to action
And we want to action
Please, please, camera, go
Give me the action, we want to action
Competing against my brother was like a bit of a mixed feeling, it was like a bit of sweet
beating him because obviously I wanted to see him succeed and I know how hard he works
so I really wanted him to succeed but at the same time obviously I've got to compete for
myself and there was one game we beat him and I had like 25 kills and everyone was like
wow that must be so amazing but I walked out into the hallway and he was already there
to shake my hand but I just felt horrible doing it. After that game that we beat him
in the 2020 through 6 Invitational qualifiers, we both kind of walked down and said we want
to do this together. I felt like I was finally happy winning because we were doing it together.
I always had a dream of lifting a trophy with him on an international stage or whether it's
like an A pack plan. Unfortunately, we never got to do that but we still got a lot of good
wins. We won a league a lot together and I think that was like the most rewarding feeling
was winning with him.
Kerben Hagen as an event was, to be honest,
our whole team, we were just walking around like fans.
Like, we had a bootcamp before at Australia's HQ
and the MAE team was bootcamping the next to us
and we just spent the whole time like,
like, sport just walked past like that.
But I think like, we weren't really fully locked in
and we didn't know what international competition was like
so it was definitely a huge wake-up call for all of us
and we went back and the next event was a lot better.
The start of 25 was,
I was lining up with the first team that I played on-pro without my brother, basically.
And there was a lot of hype around it, EU imports of course.
And for some reason playing Siege just actually didn't feel the same to me.
And for the first half of 2024, that was sort of the whole thing.
I didn't find myself passionate.
I wasn't into it.
I was showing up to scrims, like, showed in the results that was my worst six months
of Siege in my entire career.
It took like an off-season of me getting back into a team with my friends, which was the
Chiefs roster, which was, it was really good for me.
I got my want to play it again back as well.
And I think having my brother on the team helped a lot.
But I think that Chief's team that I was on really
got me back into the swing of things
and it made me want to play again.
And now I'm on an enterprise
and I'm so happy with the roster,
just playing with like five friends.
For the six months that I was not on a team with Mitch,
it was definitely a weird feeling.
And I think that I didn't adjust to it very well.
And him coming back into the team made me realize that.
Me just being my own player was,
I definitely didn't do a very good job of it in GG.
But him coming back onto the team
made me feel a lot more comfortable.
At the same time, I achieved so much myself
that I was no longer sort of in his shadow,
I was no longer St. John's brother,
which was a good feeling,
but at the same time,
I honestly did not mind being St. John's brother.
I
What time is it? Oh, it's time for the match of the day. That's right. It's our two top
Japanese teams going head to head when the Osaka Major is upcoming. Just two months away,
We finally get to see CAG play. They're looking undefeated so far, but credit to SCARS, they're also undefeated and they are punching way above their pay grade in Stage 2.
CAG aren't looking undefeated. They are very much performing in an undefeated fashion. There's only four rounds in three games so far.
That is why this is going to be the match of the day.
Let's have a look at that CAG roster and start breaking it down.
it down. I mean, these guys have been the kings of APAC North all year long. They had
an incredible run as well, despite not qualifying for the Six Invitational in Paris at the start
of this year, they managed to get to go to Paris just a few months ago for the Esports
World Cup. They had a really tough draw. They were into the play-ins, Pengu, and they lost
their first game to Fnatic, right? And then they went through it. They beat King Zero,
they beat MIBR Loast, and then they even beat the finalists from Salt Lake City Shopify
Rebellion in one of the largest upsets he saw at the Esports World Cup. In the group
stage, unfortunately, they lost to DZ in Liquid, but they took a map off of both of those teams,
both of which actually went really deep in the top eight as well. So, credit to CAG,
a really good international performance very recently, and hopes that perhaps they can have...
Wait, is that an Australian flag in the back? That Australian flag?
Oh yeah, it looks like it, yeah.
Yeah, that's so funny.
It could be a koala bear, maybe, with a little black attester.
I think it is.
I think it is.
Yeah, it is.
Yeah, it is a koala bear.
Yeah, a little koala bear in Australian flag.
I wonder if Mag gave that the chimpanzee back when they were teams.
But yes, Cag, anyway, as I was cooking up there in really good form, and they got their
eyes on Osaka in two months' time.
But of course, an important stat, Pengu, is that the longer games go on, CHE tend to
perform extremely well.
That's exactly right. So like what this means on paper right? Theoretically is that Scars want to get this match done as quickly as possible
because the longer the game goes on for, the later in the round come that we get so round nine and after,
CIG have a much higher win percentage. It almost feels like in this case that Scars, when the pressure is on and oh my god,
we're about to lose or oh my god, we're about to win, they perform worse every single time.
Or the last time when they feel the pressure, then okay guys, let's try 100% and start winning.
And the last time these teams did meet it was in a BO3 with the score lines that you see on screen
That was in the stage finals of stage one and and scars like you can see won the first map 8-7
But CAG came back and won the the next two maps two of the three going to overtime
That tells you exactly how powerful scars are in their current form. They are looking really hot
They unfortunately only came fourth in APL North stage one eventually losing out to CAG and
and Kina Trope, but of course you look at them now and they're undefeated in stage one. They had a
7-1 over BME, an 8-6 win over Kina Trope, and a 7-3 over Trippie main telecom. Putting them,
like I said, undefeated up with C.A.G. Asaka, but it doesn't get easier from here. This is going to be
their hardest game as of yet. And it is a must-see in the title of the 1-0 from Trippie. There are so
many stand-up performing moments from different kinds of players. We weren't sure, in feature in
particular had so many moments where they would make a round that was pretty much lost
into a round victory and you kind of stole the throw away there from Tribdi.
We're starting to build up a bit of power there in Chalet.
So I'm keen to see about the consistency from Scars. You know they've been playing really
well against the mid-pack and bottom half teams. Today is all about playing against one of the
very best and when I lose that's one thing but it's about how close can they get and how much
can they hang with COG on an every round by round basis? Are they going to get flawless sometimes?
It's going to be down to like a 2v2. That's what I'm looking for if Scars can hang in that department.
And this is a real breakout opportunity for Scars. Of course, a lot of these players have been competing
for a very long time in this region. You know, you look at the career durations for a lot of
these players and it's, you know, three or four plus years. Here a replay from the last time these
teams met, like we saw before, it was actually overtime on Fortress and the second map of the
series as well on it was Lair and then it was a 7-3 in favor of CAG on banks so
we had a lot of rounds played by these two teams and Scars actually gave CAG a
real run for their money so definitely I think today is going to be a close game
I think Scars in their current form on the basis of what's happened their last
couple of games of beating Kinatrop for example it puts them in a really solid
spot. The question remains, where are we going today for the Vito's? We only get one map here in a BO1.
Will it be one of the ones that we saw them play last time? It's going to be either Labs or Clubhouse.
It's going to be Club? Wow, okay. There's a lot of material. Both of these teams have played this map twice already.
Yeah, I mean, I'm not going to say that these teams are going to be super favorite, but leaving Clubhouse open will almost guarantee
that you're able to pick it against almost every single opponent. They love this map. They're great at playing it.
even locked it up T. Shins, the mid rounds, the death of strategy. So I'm not worried
for scars, but I would say slight favorite here towards C. A. G.
It's C. A. G. B. Shopify billion on this map. So anything is possible when C. A. G.
go to a map that they like scars, look to try and contest the kings look to try and contest
the number one most dominant team that APAC North has seen for a very long time back to
back after going to Salt Lake and going to Paris for EWC, CHE want to run it back and go to a third
event in a row with their sides set on Osaka in just two months time, but put another Japanese
team, contest them for the spot at the Japanese Major, well it seems like SCARS is the only name
that we would consider in that conversation for now. Let's go to Clubhouse to see how these two
Underfiending teams match up in the best of ones for group stage of APEC North.
Well Bandit, if you're in my band to start things off, I'm right calling for a tactical.
We'll see what happens. So the first is to go through the...
Technical man, come on.
Second, sorry, sorry, technical, tactical. Who made up those words by the way?
They're so close together. Make it make sense.
I will see Kaiid and X, what's the X, Monty, Solid Snake, let's see.
Grim.
Okay, I did not see the Grim coming whatsoever, okay.
What do you think?
Yeah, I mean, you're just saying.
What are the teams embedding Grim against CAG and I was thinking like they love the
Capitao man and they're good at playing Capitao, it feels kind of scary to leave that open.
They're good at both of them.
The thing about the Grim is it's info, whereas the Capitow is murderous, but teams that don't
want to have to get info from droning when they want to go for a set player and execute
can use that Grim to create that space, get that info, and then go for an execute.
For me, Grim has always been an operator, but it wasn't in when I was playing the most competitive
Siege that I have played, which was Scrim was way back in the day, and then a bunch of just,
you know, D-Gen ranked. I was never like really at that level when Grim was really in, right?
And Grim kind of took a while to get into the meta, and then just became so good. And I never
really fully got it. Like, I got it from an intellectual perspective. You watch the games,
you see teams have success with it. But I think the thing is, like, that Grim, it's so good for
for these teams that know how to create space,
use it to create gaps so that you can both of these
execute, because it's an operator with at face value,
like that, you know, played by low tier players.
It's not gonna be that good,
but in the hands of a team like CIG, it is incredible.
It's funny, because when Grimfresh came out,
he mentioned how he wasn't like a meta in the beginning.
He was seen as probably like a bottom three all time,
worst attack and operator ever, really.
Like he was seen as useless like a meme operator,
and then they both discheduled like in three different ways
in one patch, gave him secondary pace,
looking at the harbinger in peace,
like they did a lot of small stops, right?
But in two patches, kind of back to back,
and he went from bottom three worst of all time
to top three, maybe best of all time very quickly.
And the thing about Grim that's different
from other meta operators like your Capitao,
your Solid Snake, or Deimos, your Shields,
he doesn't feel like as unfair as those characters.
Like, yeah, you're red spotted,
It sucks there's pressure, but you're not getting any like significant downside to it plus
It's a very expensive gadget to use where like if they miss one of them
I get caught by an ADS or all my days
You do feel like we're stealing that value away from them because you only have like five of them
Which is not super limited but relatively limited so I've always thought that while grim is strong
I don't feel bullshit it if you will whenever I do that you've got you being spotting me out
Yeah, it's one of those operators where it doesn't directly kill you. It just creates an opportunity for you to be killed.
And I think that's why Grim is not frustrating to most players. Like maybe if you're at a pro level, yeah.
But to most players, what are the operators that are frustrating to play against?
Like, operators where you feel hopeless. Operators where you just jump in the window and then you're dead instantly to some kind of trap that kills you.
Or some kind of trap that kills you.
You're like walking at you. Yeah, like you know a shield player that's like
that you feel like you can't do that or you die because you're blinded by a blitz or a ying or whatever.
Yeah, that's why operators like your Grim don't feel so frustrating until you
realize that the reason why CAG is so good at executing is because of operators like that.
Anyway, it's absent so we don't have to talk about it to death. Instead it leaves
open so many other ops that CAG love. You mentioned the Capitao there ying is
because another one comes to mind for that.
The glass as well, like any of the Execute Enabling Operators,
because CQT in more recent history,
did not forget like literally 5 attackers to the bomb side,
do a 3 to 1 countdown, and then go for Executes.
So, pretty much every single round, I'm expecting to play one of these 4 operators basically.
The Ying sends a glass or a shield.
I'd be very surprised if you see like any Attacker rounds,
who don't have one of these 4 operators in play,
because it plays so heavily into what CT loves to do in the server.
In this round, we see two of them, Blackgate as the shield, the Ying as the execution operator,
and then supported by all the tools that you need to get there, right?
Verity, Canary in the snitch, Break apart the kitchen floor, and the bottom main staircase as well,
and the Apulchre of the Hibana, Canaries of the Ying,
then supported with that, we get EMPs in case they had a kite, because that hasn't been banned the way.
It was banned in the mirror.
So this is obviously what the CT shown us very, very early on.
They have really good problem solving skills. They understand the possible pressure points
and what they need to pick to make sure that those pressure points, if they were to show themselves,
they can be dealt with very easily. And they've done full map clear, breaching, soft and shocking,
and there's a minute and 20 seconds left in this round. They are way ahead of schedule,
and to make it even worse for scars, they don't have Goyo. Just a smoke from me now.
So CG can take it nice and slow step by step, and once they're ready, get that 3-2-1 countdown,
and hopefully they can find that first Albany pick.
Very little detail is destroying the gas pipe before CIG go for the execute.
You can actually do it safely from Moto Hatch as we saw by Annie.
Great idea there.
Now this player inside of Church, Nina, is actually still in aggressive position
and safely able to play that close wall despite the Hibana pellets detonating
because it's just a deep hole, high up.
So CIG, you have to be careful, I could win the round for them.
Nice day here, that should flush out the position,
should have sort of keep a barrier, it shouldn't have the kill on the washway and indeed it does.
Now Hanny wants to make his way forward, takes a hell of a damage to his feet but
meanwhile, Jibisu has made some space on the blue side of the map.
Rek's trying to compete with the glasses up and active but he hasn't been able to have an aggressive
moment for himself from this AK's position. The CAG are really shaping up to look for the execute
On to church, now Wreck is the last one standing, 4v1, CAG, their executes are so impressive,
so clinical, so perfect, and they take the first round by a storm.
It's again all the small geysers that are coming together, right? They get a very small breach
by the church triple wall that gives pressure from the bottom and staircase safely into the
bomb site, limiting where they can play from. Then they get anitin dropping down the motorhead
with one nade spare in pocket and it tosses it out directly behind the key bar saying guys
either Asami will walk right hand side and die to the player behind Andy in church or she will
walk left hand side and die to the person on that church triple breach either way they will take
down the Asami they will get the opening pick and they will give him to a man advantage that's what
starts off the execute then they at the same time they're trying pressure on the player instead of blue
saying this guy cannot swing the road safe. He can play in blue but he can't swing you,
so you don't need to worry about your right-hand side at all walking in from motor door.
A lot of small details happening and the final one is they actually dropped the diffuser pretty
much by the stage and bar between the motor hatch and between the blue hatch. They dropped it before
any went down the hatch itself. That is because they don't know where the push will succeed.
It could be that they get killed on motor door and they don't get church control,
then taking a case down the blue hatch is going to be better to go into a case for example
or if what's actually happening they win on church attack then they can get the fast
shirt take up the diffuser drop down the motor hatch and go for a church plant so they're keeping
the carts very open they have small strategies in mind and all these different small wind
conditions and it was a clinical first take a great break down use pick use pick on clubhouse
Is he going to do it?
Show us the tech, D.D.
Well, firstly, the fuse is being picked here.
So, if Hamilton breaches now, it's a waste.
You can't do the fuse tech.
Is he going to do the FET fuse tech?
I think he's going to do it.
They're timing it.
Alright, guys.
Watch.
Oh, okay.
So, firstly, it won't matter for now, because the Tuberow has stopped it.
So, we won't actually get to see it in play.
But the fuse is actually accounted to the Tuberow.
so that's why Kage picked it in the first place. Eventually, I'm sure he's just going to keep on
putting a few charges down. You could just burn through these tuberous very quickly.
I think for now it's going to test the wall and go elsewhere. Having two attackers waiting on
that external breach is too much. Time wasted into those. So I'm going to start breaching the
office hatch and the consingle wall and just kind of continue up with the strategy. I didn't know
that eventually he never run out of Soto canisters in the tube route, which they now have, so the wall will be opened up.
And CIG, again, what did I say? One of the four operators, they will play every single round, right?
As it shields Capitao, Ying or Glass, and this time it's going to be the Capitao, and no shield.
So they again bring that late game win condition, which can also double down, so it's getting the opening,
taking out something like a teleporter's position. The battling is set up blue.
Scar is trying to play actively in the room.
Oh wow, good peek out there from Washley.
Aniston is able to trade it back, but Yuki's from inside lounge supports and trades back
against Aniston and finds the kill on the Shuri.
That's a massive one tap.
Gagwip, fully aware of where Yuki's was.
Shuri spot him on the drone much earlier and was covering that position.
Oh, thank god that form of trap was shot before DD Man died to it.
Full info on the last three defenders now from Zaka as Gagwip to salvage.
It's been a bit of a struggle of a round.
It's gonna go for a run here.
Those satchels, the blue icons,
that can give you one keys of secondary utility.
So now he gets one frag grenade.
Could run somewhere else,
get a flash grenade, for example.
But you can only get one of each,
cannot stack the grenades, for example.
Got an office rotate,
and they got the door to walk in.
The question is, what is gonna be the path forward?
They know exactly where the defenders are.
Frag grenade out!
He does.
And unfortunately, on his entry,
the Nade does not cover him.
DD should know that there was one top main and one in stash and wreck lashes out at the perfect moment
Very round there from the defensive side scars looking very tight, especially on that extension
With that they are indeed in the game
Back and forth back and forth
I think if your scars at the right decision there is to fight for the early Rome game because again if you let
CAG execute with all 5 attackers alive. It's gonna feel impossible to win against it.
Not that it is impossible, but it feels like it, because there's no way to plant a defense
safe. Going for 1-4 and trade early on, there's gonna be a huge win condition, I think, for scars.
The fact that they got more kills than deaths that they suffered obviously solidifies it that much
more, but even if that final moment there was a 2v2, another 2v3, it would still be heavily
favorite by the defense because what the tg have then a fuse with a no-gap that
basically and solid snake that can see exactly where the attackers are or
defenders are but no way to be dealing with it like you through an grenade
destroys the contact they have a crossfire it doesn't matter so I would
expect scars to keep on fighting
No spotted, no spotted.
Rec deciding to play the no-seemly-actually-on-the-rafters position.
Like this innovation from Skars.
That is, uh, something.
No, there isn't. Like, through it you can also shoot your own depile of shield with the
Nord device and then you can like burn anything behind it, so if that was going to be a shoot
attack or you can shoot to what's the point.
Yeah.
Well, the other thing is, I've actually seen people use the Nord to shoot it into the wall
about halfway up the garage staircase.
Yeah.
essentially acts like a goya fire or like the gas pipe that's been you know
one taps like you can't run through it or you could maybe sprint to it if you're
lucky you surely die so maybe you can safely do that if you're a two-speed
operator sprinting through the north gadget you will take two kicks of damage
which is about 24 alpha you lose so sprinting through it just like a toxic
vape and goya fire is entirely possible but only if you're a fast operator and
going for a full sprint. If your monkey has extended, you're going to take a barbed wire
and you lose your Banshee. Not recommendable, you'll pretty much die.
Uh, kite countered by the good old Daxter EMPs.
Ensuring the wall is open up. This is step one here for a CAG.
It could then alternatively try and use that last summer charge on the wall, leading two
telegraphers, protected by a smoke grenade or kept a far arrow.
Right now, not to be.
There's a lot of setup.
One CHG, they're ready to go for it.
They, in theory, should get a kill for free on kelob after.
It just may wreck on the North.
And if they get that free kill,
then all they need will make all this time setup worth it.
My question is, does CHG have problem-solving?
They deal with it.
It might be out of target.
Player on the rafts themselves the glass and the fire from the capitol
Can they get that kill indeed rec will go down and
Well, it was a nice idea from rec on the north. He just could not safely sit there in that position while the capitol was alive
Nope, that's a spot where you can actually play a dock and heal for the fire or play as scope was in TPL way
The second you start taking damage and you can't update them to use all the utility
Problem is now 35 seconds left from the clock and CT got those five attackers
They got a second setup setup. They got three smoke grenades, two from the keratile, one from the glass, and they got one more fire in pocket with a final lion scan.
So they've used only half what they needed for their first step, and they made a path that'll come with the plan.
Here comes that lion scan, and they kill it a fish like with it.
Zaka has got the cover along with Aniston while that plant starts to go down, and Washoi completely out of gas, has no way to delay or deny that defuse.
It's just him and you kids now. Oh my shot there. Sure. He was just feeding a little bit. Same as Zaka.
ReV2 now it's up to CAG to just lock in, but got players on the rappel.
Tewi Su and DD Man both. Anatom's outside as well.
And with three players in this position, it feels possible. Surely.
Scars can get on that defense. Unless if they get some galley shots, but not gonna happen at all.
Two players on rappel, both peek at the same time and CAG can hold it in the post.
Again, I feel like Scars have no choice but to go for early battles because what happened
this round is again very good usage of the Gadget from CAG.
There's been three of the factory EMPs getting the main wall open up.
It's going to be like EMP the Tideclaw, they're going to trick it, EMP again, EMP again.
Wall is now open, happy days.
Then there's been another two EMPs on the Cattle Grouter ADSs instead of burning them
with flashbangs.
You just EMP them with one cap of fire and one smoke from the glass and a lion scan.
That means if he stands still, you're dead to a grenade or kept afire.
And if he's moving, he's red spotted by the lion, giving permanent information to the
glass which is looking at him through a smoke.
Unlusible, right?
They also got to kill down stairs at the same time because he shot down a flanker.
Excellent.
Then they get to the bomb site.
Guess what?
They have one lion scanned if they're meeting now.
They have one smoke from the glass, one grenade, and also one kept afire.
So the plant is absolutely free.
But the even more interesting thing is that one more EMP from Thatcher and the EMP, the
final toxic bait from Wachoi while they're starting to plant.
So every single EMP caught something that progressed around or outright held the wind around.
And it's just saving that one land scan, that one EMP, that one fire from Capitale.
That makes all the difference.
Because they didn't spend everything getting cattle control and then it went for the bomb
side.
They split it and it's getting both areas because of it.
And it's not about the gunfights.
They're making an FPS given siege into a tactical, strategic game of gatted and utility.
And that's how the people start the basement and now it's easy to do.
And that's the thing like scars have an answer for some of those pieces are useful right like they had an answer for the Monty push
They had an answer for what if these guys have to sprint up the stairs and kill us?
Well, we can sit there with the gnor and the gnor not only can kill a Monty or a shield
But can also delay anyone sprinting up the stairs, but they didn't have an answer for the capital
And the capital in the end was what really determined that position be one by CAG
So Skars now go back down to the basement and Hamilton is about to get in his face
The face of fish like he's just done a hell of a lot of damage onto any by the way
With four rounds now with those key operators last round we saw the
Blast of capital and not around here in the shield. They were staying true to the meta game of the operator flexibility
They're also now the more acro operators with obviously the
Solid Snake and Deimos looking for the roam clear.
Nidia is hiding in a Mute Jammer, that is a check here.
You cannot be spotted by the Solid Snake gadget all the Deimos tracker.
Are they just a wallbang away from killing each other as well?
Yup.
He must seem there's somebody up here.
He seems to have a pretty strong idea, you can see he's about to go for that wallbang.
As soon as this drone comes in, sees the Mute Jammer and a player,
This play will come through season a lot of damage onto him and it will finish him off a great pinch there by C.A.G
Such you really know a lot of people go guys
It is like putting down the image embers to fall back towards basements of fake Rome
But I think when they have scopus in the mix you're thinking well even if they're fake roaming it
There must be a scopus shell and that's gonna be put to feel it
So maybe an overcooked here from scars possibly now Rick upstairs and top call of rafters you kids in the red stairs
You gotta go there because they're hunting for you. Yeah, you kids is out of there wreck is out of there and
That spare shell is gonna be destroyed in just a moment sherryp. I think is just taking it down in garage
It's gone yet, I don't think you have because I see both of the shells in the bottom there
you know
This is such a good music to the cell estate by the way, like he knows that church is almost completely free
Maybe that's interesting because at first I said they're gonna have to go for kills, but none of the church is fully free
They just walk in trinkets and go for a plan immediately
Now they see a player by the chassis, but they don't have the smokes and the setup and any slow and HQs
I feel like they're bound to go for a 3-2-1 execute where it's gonna be more about the kills and the
They're side itself and just planting.
20 seconds to play means they don't have a lot more time to measure up.
They just have to make some moves.
Shuri trying to make that entry.
You have to find a kill in this game.
But Zaka and Shibisu are the ones that enter the scoreboard.
Shuri finally gets off the donut.
Wreck in a 1v4 position, but time is not on Kage's side.
Doesn't matter because Shibisu's still up above the hatch.
And a round win for CAG.
This is turning into a bit of a decimation.
and CAG are running away with it. Scar simply cannot keep up.
And again, if you're a Scar, I mean, I know these rounds, they look kind of one-sided in some ways,
but they really aren't that one-sided. A small gunfight, a small roam game, CAG mistroding, and it can change instantly.
But Scar is, if they don't get the opening pick and they don't disrupt them early, it is bound to be a round loss.
But the moment Scar gets the opening pick, it's going to flip it from 80-20 against them to 80-20 in their favor.
So much of this will simply come down to the first like 60 or 90 seconds in a round and if scars can't disrupt CHU somewhere in the map.
If they've done it once, that was around victory, but they haven't done it since.
So it's time for Leo to get in the ears of the scars players in the tactical timeout.
Four rounds deep, all of the operator bands with this half have come out. There's no relying on that here.
Scars really need a second or maybe even a third round. It's Sparky frozen
Or is he just not talking?
We're always doing his Darth Sidious cosplay
Attackers need to locate and defuse as many bombs as they can. Oh
Hold the phone and then nor be bunch of action. This is very
Okay, so scars are going for strategic counter, right?
nor for the shield, kai tuba for the walls
don't know if this is in mind head the way that i would approach it
i wouldn't mind flash i wouldn't mind trap operators like your ganari your thorn holding top red for
example stuff like that scott's gonna try and go for hey cg can you help him solve this
but they still have a lot of strong operators available right now no that you're being kicked
So maybe this gonna test it by surprise
Yep, I don't think that cgh to have to settle the easy tools to deal with this could actually have worked out very
Thanks for the problem
No EMPs of any sort
If use that could maybe get some damage done, but against kite and to browse you'd never give the fuse a wallet you're trying to find
Cgf showing that they do like playing the fact that they played a few times this game
This is gonna have to get very creative here. I don't know if a maid might be how to get charges
He's waiting I think he's waiting for all the florist
I think it worked. I can't believe it
Also the gas pipe wasn't destroyed by the defenders the gas pipe explosion might have killed the chai claw not the force
Well, it's entirely possible. Not sure
that is some even like if a defender was like camping the
journal for the florist that would have helped but
he also said he had Nina nearby freeze the wall and have you kids pick up the
second kite claw run on over and then trick it like there are different ways
to problem solve it but they've done this that of hey CC wall is our priority
because that's where the active player for Nina and Lucas are playing but CC wall
for a team defense isn't the main reason it's gonna be jacuzzi and it gets
when you peek onto the kite so no more to be and this round just like before is falling apart way
too early for scars. I mean there's credit to see Edgy man that was a really good way to deal with
not the perfect recipe of operators to deal with that situation but they did it anyway and like
you said I mean scars could have doubled down on the one wall with two claws because they didn't.
It's gonna be a gap found as well by Shuri, Mina goes down on the Tuberow and the chances of scars
coming back here on this defense, slipping away. All by the minute Flashbang comes out
from Zaka. He wants to try and make his way up the stairs on for a backstab. Second Flash
goes out again and on the other side of it is Skars. Don't know what the player's wreck
will take. Zaka down there about one HP but then fall himself fish and wash away the last
two left. There's Skars and I mean plenty of time on the board. CIG have all the map control
They want another kill for zaka coming up the stairs fish like tries to deny what he can but shuri
Paz there and it's into boot. It's a fourth round on the board for C.A.G
Scars are staring down the barrel of what could be a devastating start to this game
It just doesn't get any easier
Again to simplify what's happening right now is that scars are picking a single win condition
And win condition is a term that we use to say this is gonna be the big priority of how you're going to win the game
When you're playing defense, obviously, you're gonna pick your win condition the attackers and have to adapt and problem solve it
It was gonna be the kite and the two brown that round 100% of the time that's gonna be your wincon
You're gonna deny the half reaching that making sure that they can't get all the walls
We're gonna lock in all the walls. Maybe if you're doing it perfectly and you burn a lot of time
But they didn't they didn't shoot the gas pipe
It didn't want to join for a floor stone. So the walk is open immediately
You lose the opening pick as well. They don't shoot any of the walls and with that you just have weaker gunfights
Let's see scars are played
Firetrap orators the Nari, Ella, Thor and whatever right five of them
This is about making CIG feel weaker in a gunfight when they're in a building. They're gonna be snow. There's gonna be infield
They're gonna be gunfights. They're gonna take a bit of chip damage
That extremely that you have a high-press grain that fights the scars. If you're gonna play around utility
You have to put in the utility scars played it
You can defend it correctly and see if you have a very easy time dealing with the round
So come to see a G there like a weaker team would not have found that innovative no to take no they wouldn't
This is my oh my god
This is more CG playing well, and it's cars playing Paulie, but scars could do more in the round
This right here is more if finally get moving pick is a nasty spawn peak from a show
isn't you live in you need to take a hallway door and it's maverick it's gonna be
one or two ways of reaching a wall now the message is the two hand over this
and shoe week meaning you gotta be very particular about where you put them and
you couldn't go for the exact same mall of CCTV I think that's the thing that is
perhaps a weakness in the extremely strong CAG is that while they do have
just the right utility to deal with the problem they don't have a lot of redundancy
And we see that in all of their lineups like very rarely will they bring
More than two pieces of high bridge or like more than two operators with some high bridge
And that's the case here when you're on clubhouse where high bridge is the name of the game
Especially here on CC TV it's high bridge and secondly
It's clearing power positions which sure it is perfect at doing both
But he does not gonna get a lot of help now that DD man is gone
He's the most important operator for high bridge and the most important operator for clearing the power position of rafters
If he falls, I mean this round is surely over
I thought exactly
See it's a critical hard breach by the way
injured not confirmed though, but I mean they got remains Boris tell their flanking and there's a guy watching you waiting for it
But she doesn't say soccer doesn't swing so he gets out possibly
My better get out here comes the impact for me up in close quarters
The AK strikes true for Zaka. That said, with Fishlike finally getting surey, now Rafters
is left unclear. Fishlike stays in that position. Zaka will now target him. The kill has to
come from Anato. Now there is no catch to protect him, so the maid's here. Good land
from Annie. The first one comes out. I wasn't quite flushing out of that position. The second
one has to do so. It doesn't land, and now Zaka has to take this 50-50 gunfight against
fish live. Yeah, nice house. Just like ready for it. Taking it into your ankle
confirmation. That should be around yesterday's Nisms together as well on
the bridge scars. Did you fund them on the board eventually? A second actually
in fact.
Or my hand understands
I said bring us back in
okay it was something people as I bring us back in I said you know what I'm not
Well, I guess it's a... is it EMP or is it EMP?
Well, we're having this heated debate, aren't we? I mean, it's...
Very heated.
It's not EMP, but I used to watch a machinima.
Did you know machinima? Not the channel, but machinima.
So yeah, a machinima is a genre of...
For those who don't know, a machinima is a genre of videos where they make stories
stories and use the game as like the actors essentially like and I used to
watch a lot of machinimas back in the day and one of my favorite machinimas
they used to joke about it being called emp instead of EMP back in the good old
red vs blue guys. It's a real difference maybe. Yeah I don't know if this person is
making that reference but yeah it's not an EMP. So I grew up on all the
wallcraft and we had a wow machiner which obviously was specifically the wow videos
and some of these greatest pieces of early internet content from like scarce
with parody songs about really weird things in the game, they were almost born from that.
Yeah, I love that.
Machinima's second genre.
I feel like it's a lost art because the thing that made Machinima so good was how cooked
it was.
And now with AI and with the tools that we have in games to shoot in theater mode, all
this stuff, the quality is so high that it's lost its charm.
It was better when it was all cooked.
Is it similar like a lot of good old memes? They were like 480p, 720p and just like blurry and messy and what's happening today?
A lot of memes are like crystal clear, 4k, ultra HD and it just feels like it feels too good sometimes to be mean.
Like Nine Gag was just a thing, right? It's just pictures and four words usually, very simple.
My greatest internet meme of all time is my hype-up video for getting into a game.
Perhaps scars need it right now as they should be watching on YouTube, Streets 112, a speedrunning
record of the old, uh, old and I game.
Yeah!
I think that shows you.
It's my high, it's my high pop thing, it's this guy who breaks the world record for the
speedrun.
He is just so high.
It's got some inspirational music going on in the background.
Streets 112, the day I die, he's like, my insane pace, this right here, this is the
112, this is the 112!
I've never seen a 113 and I never will. 112, baby!
This is so good.
Can't be to watch that video right now and fire the hell up, bro.
Because 2-4, this is the game that we hyped up to be match of the day.
And it has not delivered so far.
We go on the side swap.
We got those mid operators.
The ying, the blitz, the solid snake looking to be the ones to try first.
Even on the ying shotty, you know, less.
On the gym window.
Well, they jump on in, but the information first.
Is there going to be a roamers?
Well, there was.
Chibisul, he's not being shot down by you kids, starts with the first and the second pick.
Oh, this is exactly what they needed. I said they needed to fire up.
And they're doing exactly that right now. Two opening picks, but there's still information here on the board for CAG thanks to those Valkcams.
And I think that that might tempt them to go for a rerome.
Amazon gets scared off though, because of that info, because of that damage, it's been done to him.
Zaka still wants to hold on, won't fall for back to the bomb site, takes out another drone, but then says it's time to back away.
I don't know if this is gonna be enough, unless if they find two miraculous nitro cell kills, I feel like they're gonna need to go for a rerun.
Such a hard spot to be in though.
You stick around, you think maybe time is gonna get so low that you can just win the 3v5, but what if Skar starts speeding up?
Because we got the Bids, we got the Solar Snake, or we gotta go for an Ash out.
The c4 time price will be here with the bottom main to do with and it didn't flank it from all the letters could be a play
But maybe not not sure about it c4 prep to toss doesn't find any damage and it's an awful school has not flamethrower pit
So it seems like see it you're gonna play by the side in that to be fine
Well that drawing is gonna spot him though, so we're gonna have to take it down and
I'm gonna go for it. Okay. I think he fakes going up. That's what he did
But Zachary's gonna get turned over the hatch so looks like C.H.G. are not gonna win this round
I don't think they really have any way back into it
Skars should be able to just play this nice and carefully
They're going for a kitchen execute as several players drop downstairs D.D. finds one low HP good bash
But no help fish like falls on the blitz DD man one HP in a 1v3 diffuser not planted
But washroom will cut him down
Very close, but well played from Skars. They got the opening picks and then they made sure to convert
Guess very close there a good protection from
Saka or our colleagues former name there to help his team at those game bonked on the ground by the Blitz
But not enough scars had significant numbers eventually at 4v2 and all really truly comes down to the opening pick
And who can convert that into a round victory?
We could just be seeing an attack or favorite clubhouse because again as a defender you set up the problem that maze of
Different ideas in the beginning of the round and prep phase, but you got to take a re-pick
So as long as guys can get the drones in the building get the right set of operators
They can get also the tools that they need just like CG did when it was their time to attack. I
Guess they went and watched streets 112 like what more can I say they hyped up they felt that energy
They had it surging through their veins and now they're keen for it now. They're here ready to go
Skars back into it on the attacking side. No less man. No less
Are we getting roasted by the chaffing told the way all
Someone called Jesus these guys are old
There's always the internet these man
I think it's a matter of how young you were when you first joined the internet or anything else
Hey, that guy's name is hateful dude. He's really living up to that name
He's really not though. He's a common viewer of mine. He's actually usually a very nice guy.
He's a dick right now. I'm gonna ban this guy. It's hard getting him right now. Get him on.
Get him, go on. On Leewy Jenkins, that was also my shit in my pocket actually.
Oh geez, man.
I said, you know, let's keep up with time.
Does it like make us feel?
I love the breath films
Hey, look, maybe this is gonna be an attack, it's a comp, because I certainly hadn't picked the comp off what happened in that first half
I just thought that CAG were better
But I think that you win one round off of winning the early Rome game
Then you're probably gonna see CAG adapt
So that's what I come down to now for them
maybe don't play quite as aggressively at the start of the round because
you know scars are gonna be able to fucking get back into it
love the hell in
and there's gonna be a secret weapon as well after the third defense here it's
gonna be called Clash so if you cannot figure it out without it
probably stop bringing it and it's instructs her so takes down a wreck
who's playing the demos and a hard time being one and center right now on the
scoreboard they're really faulted by the hatched up here from office is stacked
Griswitbind's time and time again, but they keep throwing it straight beneath the hatch so they can shoot it from outside
DD9 got into the left or right-hand side there and covered from the ceiling
Now hatches a big weakness later on
Now I dropped there but not going for it
They're just seeing back away, they don't need to make any crazy errors
Anatole's in a great spot with that nitri-cell under the hatch.
That should be a gap.
Here is the gap indeed from Wachoi.
He finds one, walks straight to the LMI, but it doesn't matter as he is traded on back
after he finds one.
C.A.G.B.
Picked apart by Nina in office.
He finds two, but immediately becomes the last one standing.
Is it a 1v1 after Anatole found that double single kill with the C4 rather?
Zaka also down below, in vote here for Nina, how do you find the third kill of the round?
Scars have brought it on back against all the odds, the score is tied.
Such a small thing there, I mean I guess right now you can actually look at CH here and go
and they could have probably won this round.
If they had played a little bit better than the small diesels, right, DV lost two Griswold
mines by misplacing them on the wrong area of the hatch.
The first one was right beneath it, when the hatch got opened up, that got destroyed.
The second Chris of Mine was gonna be tossed all the way beneath the hatch, was shot by
the Blackbeard.
Had the Chris of Mine being on the hatch when DB dropped, he would be forced into a shoot
gun animation, he would have worse vision, and he would have a full sound cue.
That's the first mistake.
The second one is Enniton was playing downstairs beneath the Jim Hatch inside a pool table,
saying I got the main stairs guys, don't worry about it, but he didn't really hit a
sound cue, but wasn't actually watching it, so Sofia creeps up and gets the opening to
start off that push.
And the third Crystal of Mine wasn't covering the main staircase, it was covering the hallway from the breach.
So Crystal of Mine usage, a little bit missed there from DD, and it's in, not adequate to holding main staircase, a gap abused there by Skars.
Yeah, tactical timeout there from CAG gives Sparky a chance to rinse his team, get them back into it.
Of course, for CAG they have a disadvantage when it comes to tactical timeouts and their coach speaks to them in English and not all of the players speak English.
Zaka his English is pretty good, but you know the rest of the team
I think mostly rely on him and DD to then translate everything that spark he is telling them
I mean not a single person on this team or the staff actually has English as a first language
They're all just trying to learn it to the best of their ability to come communicate across the language barrier
And now they have to adapt and they have to do it now. They've just lost two defenses in a row
On what should be the fader half for them. They've lost that lead and scars are looking so good
So waiting for the final upper lock in and there it is we're going to see similar
operating brought out here from Scarlet, the twitching is an interesting one, really
targeting the gore canisters in the fin reminds suppose, but it's gonna make it
a little bit tricky like who can actually afford to die early in this round
because Wreck has a job to do with the yank of the last, Nina has heart
reaching and a few shield fish like the Ocedino he is gonna be out your primary
hot preacher so entry-wise and getting in the action but give it a bit of a
difficulty which just means that for stars you've been a bit of a slower
paced round setting things up reaching holding angles getting ready and then
we've spent your utility then you can start going for those fights
I'm starting to change the way that I look at scars man I mean I was you know
trying my best to hype them up coming into today but let's be real we didn't
expect scars to be competitors here against CHE. Oh, Zac almost spotted I think
Washoe has the ring out. Washoe is one of the top raider players in the league at the moment and he finds an opening kill!
Zaka baited! Out by Washoi! What a beautiful moment!
For Skars now, 5v4 yet again! On this basement defense, CHG start on the back foot, another moment!
The thing is you can't even blame Zaka for going for it because what did I say about Skars when they were defending?
You have to disrupt your opponent, fight for opening pick and make it hard for them to execute.
That's what Zaka was doing! If he goes like kill, gets to 5v4, that is going to make it from a 50-50 to like a 70-30, 80-20, that's much more your favourite.
But he goes punished and now see if he's also really against them
Now they gotta do all the good stuff
I got a double C4 kill or hope that scars make a mistake so that they can utilize or abuse against them
Now they still have a lot of utile trying to clear out a lot much of this stuff as possible. The thing is for Anacin
He's in a position where he needs to make that C4 counts the only C4 in the lineup
And in the late round this is going to be very aggressive here from Skars, the amount of usual they have to stand.
Between these camdwellers still two remain in pocket for Wreck.
Yuki is likely to go for a track shortly as well with that Deimos as the Twitch drone comes in from Washoe.
Sees a lot of infill as well. I mean Skars are looking very ready.
ready you are looking ready you got 30 seconds about time to go
gas on the bottom is there is it's actually split up into sections
I need to win at least one of these engagements and they find the first
two kills they lash out just before scars want to make their entry but Nina
with the shield makes his claim on the church entry and well with that C4
missing now he's looking invulnerable now it's looking like C AG might be a
They're about to lose their lead!
Scars!
Bring it back!
Three attack rounds in a row!
And the tactical time-out, ineffective!
For the top dogs in A-Pack North!
Scars are looking to make a statement tonight!
Oh boy, what an upset this would be!
Especially after so much pressure from CIG on the first one.
Six rounds in a row looking so good,
getting that forward to spit themselves.
But it is starting to slip away.
And Aubrey, the bans for CIG, what are you even up for?
fused, been some blackbeard, been capital. Okay, not what I would have opted for actually in
terms of like my prediction of guessing games right now, but it is going to be a very strong
operator to play both bedroom of gym and cctv. Perhaps they can start extending out further
playing top red, catwalk rafters and be more in the face of scars. Of using operators like
oh my jager for example. And then I think it was Mira in response there from the side of scar
saying Walden Isle and the uh the general use of mirror windows yeah it's going to move
action so bandicoot and mirror they can breach anywhere without being consistent at all
yeah capital ban as well i mean cag giving so much respect to an operator that they use really well
yeah but an operator that hasn't been picked very much by scars and we've had three separate
attacks all successful and we've had so many different ideas in each of these
rounds I mean we've had the English combo but we've had the Blackfeet
Capitale combo we've seen the fuse and the in combo it's like it's funny
because this is a conversation that we've had before where CG they know how
strong the Capitale is because they love the opera they think like they play
very frequently scars to the Capitale team like this he is throwing out of
spawned. Are they maiming? I think they're hiding the operator while the default cam got shot.
Because Rek and Lina as glass in the nook didn't what I could see by the default cam,
so they waited for Yuuki to leave the spawn from the strip flop side to do out on the left hand side,
shoot the camera in construction and then they could get to the board. I think glass has opened
up the windows and now they know the glass is there. I mean I get hiding in the right,
So maybe the guys won't be so effective.
Look, CAG.
So what did I say, Genes?
After the third rounds, what was going to be the fail-safe parachute for CAG?
It was going to crash.
Exactly.
First round afterwards to bring it out.
I mean, they're fast to hit you up.
I mean, scars apparently are in there too, but we'll see how they deal with that clash
because they don't have a lot of utility to deal with it.
Here comes the smokes from Rekli while Fishlike is looking for an entry on the other side.
He's tossing our candelas to moment straight up the main stairs.
Nina, he's made his presence known.
He sees that clash.
He wants to try and take the fight up close and personal.
They try to aggress and harass his clash,
but fish like on the ying has fallen to the trap.
They are just trying their best to get up and it's his face.
And Nina, what am I watching?
The grenade does a team damage to the fire,
prevents Anatom from falling back.
Nina might not get this kill confirmation.
Finally does.
It's just Nina and Washoi now, with half the round timer still remaining Shriek on the floor.
Probably you're retrievable in bathroom.
Didi and Zaka have tough spots, but Skars also have had the wind sucked out of their sails for this round.
Mind you, Nina has a shotgun on the nuke, so we can't really take these long engagements.
One player by the way to keep up on the store, the other one inside of Jim Shriek, about to bleed out.
And when Skars realized that, they might change the attack, but look at this.
Asami's pushing up, he's about to lose a bit of damage.
NINA! He's found two! Find the third one! Oh my god, Nina!
How does he bring that round? Back with the nook when CAG bring out the clubs, they bring
out every single scott that they have. The clash doesn't matter. The self-team
made from Nina doesn't matter and scars have dragged CAG kicking and
streaming over into match points, CIG for the first time in stage one or stage two have
dropped points in the group stage.
Three people distracted by Ennis' clash.
One person dying, one person taking damage, the attack not really finding much success
at all and yet it becomes a round victory that fell kind of confident, fell kind of one-sided
in favor of scars, despite the bit of a star there in the middle of the execute.
Ridiculous scenes on the bomb site, and it just goes to show that C.G. right now, Adrian
not know how to handle scars when it comes to the individual fighting by the side.
I mean, they had four defenders that were worried about these two attackers, because
Anerton, he had to risk circling him on the main staircase, and still, they don't find
the victory.
Oh man, I mean now there's a very real possibility that CHE, I mean they've already dropped points,
they dropped this win here, that is insane, I mean, sure they're still probably gonna
make it to the stage finals here, the playoffs, but CHE are not out of the woods, like SCARS
is a tough game, they've got D plus and Kinetrope still yet to play as well, arguably CHE have
have played most of their easy games. This is the first time that they have met a team
that is likely to be contesting for the top three, but SCARS, if they keep this up, honestly,
anything is possible. We know the last time these teams bet in Stage Finals or Stage 1,
SCARS are overtime against CAG on two maps, in fact winning one of them before CAG came
back to win the series. This level from scars today, to come back from 2-4 down to win 4
rounds in a row is something that we haven't seen from this roster in a very long time.
Oh nothing. I always talk about the risk assessment right now. Why for CAT do they feel like they can
take all the risks because they're losing? Are they gonna start playing a bit more
sheltered positions because they're afraid of losing if they take that risk even though it
It does not pan out.
Enes back on the nuke, that worked excellently previously
and it's gonna be even better for this round
because there is Allenton on the balcony.
He has cameras and they want to watch for intel.
Enes can walk straight past them, looking for a back step.
He finds Saga downstairs,
and we'll show her back to her,
and she's back to her 4v4.
It's up to staircase.
He is, he's so close to this bombsite here.
Bomsite, here's CashCCTV here, by the way.
C.A.G., we now take the lead.
I think they have the read.
They know that Nina is up and aggressive
And they managed to lash out and take him down. Big play from D&E, but Fishlike will trade him on back!
And two kills with the shotgun! Every single kill this round! The Skars has been with this shotgun from Fishlike Juanita.
Now the Candela comes out, but Fishlike is traded back. Finally, CAG show us a little bit of life for the first time on their defense.
They break this trend that Skars had garnered for themselves. Five rounds in a row it was, and CAG get themselves back into the conversation.
It feels like Scars is trying to cheese these rounds, right?
Double shotgun, up the red staircase, into the breeze and makes some magic happen.
They had three gendillas in pocket with a ying died essentially, and the player out of the
building, meanwhile Nina, is all the way up the red staircase looking at the bomb site
itself.
A nice attempt there from Scars, but actually, and finally shot down by CAG.
And I think the biggest difficulty right now for CAG Barbaros is going to be what operators
do we play?
do we need intel, do we need traps, do we try and deny the walls with some newgems, that's probably not going to be the case
what do we have to bring, and it's going to be maybe the final round or the round of the 16th to overtime
and it's going to bring out the maestro of all operators combined with the Wamai
this could be a stratbook page out of Kino Cho's own playstyle
are they going to do that reinforcement between the gym wall reinforcement
this is the question, are they going to make a rotate here?
Ah, it's a rotate, ah.
It's a rotate, so yeah, this is very close to the keynote rope strat.
At the very least, the Maestro is straying out of the keynote rope.
Well, they were halfway there.
Neutralized, not positioned down just yet, and it's in hiding the operators.
Now you've got to do the reinforcement.
The rotate's going to be three neutralized, two barbed wires.
If Scars were to rush in this round, they would literally be able to do it
They can put down all these gadgetry, and because of that I can't go for a fast one, but it looks a bit, you can put them down just fine.
I have presence there, and I have a gym and a jacuzzi breach.
You can also double down, because they might just be like, while it sees the breach itself, you can turn to the left, now it sees the bathroom wall,
and she denies it's a summer charge.
So they're trying to protect bathroom for as much as possible.
I'll tell you what though, why should we, Nina, have been phenomenal in this game, and also phenomenal all-stage.
Should we put anatan at the top two raider players in a pack north in this stage so far then it's ion then wash
Orate and chiba suit then Nina the scars having three players in fact fish like is also there in the top 10 for the stage
Of course, CIG also have three players up there as well
That's the D plus that's that's the top nine by the way the top nine is three players from tag three from scars three from D plus
ridiculous
And Skarby means that Skars can afford to have Rekko to and Tenet doesn't matter because like you said they're playing this kind of cheesy place
There's someone else to have a life round
Even this right now just repelling outside the jacuzzi wall looking towards the gym rotate
That's a bit of a cheese shot as well waiting for you to make a long move and get the opening pick
And it's in the maestro gives you love intel
But the issue is can he actually afford to go on cameras at any point in this round?
It feels almost like if you use a summoner jacuzzi
Perhaps I'm just a response if it if ended guys first you can now passively watch the cameras
So it doesn't feel to me like they're using the my show as an active like I'm gonna do damage
I'm gonna deny the plant and you're gonna play far back. It is just for in case things go wrong. We have the possibility
We're so in trouble confirmed by the fire
Yeah, that's exactly what CIG needed a little bit more of it was a little bit more traps a little bit more anti cheese a little bit
more anti-flank and lurk, but Scars have been trying to continually backstab with that
lash out as well on the back of that kill from Shuri onto Wreck. Now Scars find themselves
in a tough spot to try and finish this in regulation. A kill for Yukez, a double for
Zaka, straight to the bomb site for Nina, but immediately traded on back with going to
OT, Pengu. CAG are not out of the woods yet and a little bit of levity on D.D.'s face
is a strong sign that CAG have a little bit more fight left in them.
Oh man, live by the cacking and die by the cacking.
That's what this game feels like right now,
because there is so much potential for a round win,
but such a high possibility of a round loss at the same time.
And it feels like CAG, but they haven't shown the kind of this side to them
in quite some time.
They usually just win games very one sidedly,
both in best of wants and best of three.
It's international, they've gotten good results,
like you said, in the beginning of the segment on the best.
But this game feels like some of that old version of themselves is really the internet game for some times
Also if I shot it spring it all the way up that staircase or doesn't get killed by the phone trap that could have been a huge
Yeah, I feel like it was a little bit smooth as soon as that phone trap went off
And now we go to OT and cagar on DJs
most of the time you'd be like oh great but eight rounds of attack one in the
12 we've played so far I don't know does this favor scars or is it that CAG
winning two defenses in a row has finally figured out what's going on with
these choosing scars across
in the loop here okay so I know that you mentioned how break does need to pop off
You can play Ubers like your third might last round for example, but if you're under solid snake
You're kind of needing him to get a bit more present in the server
You can close the building for a scanner to be activated to take down some of the comfortability with the amp tree and the information
So I'm kind of gonna ask and wreck for this one if he can get involved
Shoi, fish like, Nina are all fast to spring into action. They're not shy to take those risks
wreck means to join that mindset. It's all or nothing
It's a hard balance though if you see AG because we know what happens if they get too aggressive
at the start of the round and lose players because that was how they lost the very first
round on defense.
They had two opening picks on the rune against them and were unable to bring it back from
the 3v5.
This time though it's looking a lot better.
The number one player in APAC North, Churi, finds the first kill looking for another one
through this vert as well, Wreck.
on the fragging role, but hasn't been fragging today,
feels that pressure, Shuri about to get a whole world of pain,
but he's gonna take a few bodies with him in doing so.
And the Blitz is now silenced,
traded back on a Shuri, but not out of the woods yet.
Not even barely.
Skars can barely see the light of day.
4v2 for CAG, they can fall back to the bomb site.
All four players in the basement.
Washley and Yuki's have a massive task ahead of them.
I've got the perfect setup, the sun embarrassed protection, the clash shield, the one my members
would go to fire, three touchy-gaves and park it like...
The individual 5v5 is still going to be a tough round for scars to crack open and now it's
going to be basically impossible and this CAG do a bit of trolling in the server, a bit
of cacking if you will, we'll see what happens in the next minute and 15 seconds, I expect
scars to try their heart out because it is technically winnable but they're going to
need CAG to make mistakes when they punish them.
I don't think C.A.G. are going to do that until the try and burn this, uh, oh no they're
actually out of explosions now.
He's fully out, I think he wanted to place one, that one must have been caught as well.
He wanted to try and use it to breach open and potentially destroy any of the Goya charges
that might have stood in on the Moto door, but at least U-Kiz has a way to breach open
I'll kill back the layers, I'll destruction, build the keybomb, find the angle, stack in, get in through.
But there are three types of patients going through fire, so again, planning and getting inside this bridge, that's going to make it work hard.
Let's not forget about Aniston on the clash, here comes that Goyo fire that could not be destroyed earlier.
There is one concussion remaining for this clash, but now Aniston has put the shield down, there are no explosives left here.
left here and the gas is gonna mean that washer has nowhere safe to stand the
washout from Chibisublan is down but Chibi finds a 3k on the round to make it
three rounds in a row on the comeback for CAG. They strike back to do it again
and again and again and they're stabilizing these rounds so much more
successfully whether it's late-round utility early game pick to solidify that
man advantage and it scars now feeling that pressure again oh guys it was so
It was so close. What are we doing? If only that round had gone better and problem solving not happening early enough in that round
They cannot afford to lose two or three attackers simply to a room clear without finding as many kills as they also lost
scars was six five down on
This exact same map against Kena trope only a few days ago. It was actually exactly a week ago, Pengu and
and
Scars won it. Scars managed to come back on the attacking side and then dig deep on both attack and defense in overtime to take
the map against KineTrip and CHU looked at B about to do exactly the same thing against Scars today.
It was an incredible effort from Scars to get it to a match point in the first place. There were 4-2 down on their defense.
they come back with five rounds in a row including four attacks in a row but
since then CHE despite not having a tactical timeout left in pocket they
just managed to bring it back with those final two defensive rounds finally
reading into that aggression from scars now they've won three defenses in a row
and angry that means it comes down to CHE on the attack right when it's all
started there are so strong and so dominant we're gonna ask scars to
sit up here and I mean they got a lot of c4s I could find some kills they got
ways to protect themselves from the potential seller snake demos only one
of which was brought in it's not a snake from Saka in the mid jammers they even
got wrecked back on a trap upgrade to try and fish for a bit of in some maybe
some damage in this round too so it really does feel like comes down to CAG and
how well they can actually get here on the attack inside
I didn't spot that drone actually so drone will stay alive there for CAG as they try
and fish for a bit of info down in the basement as well.
I should hopefully know by this point.
Homestacks gym bedroom upstairs but they're just hyper cautious of these roemers and
finally found in the washway.
These feel like they're gonna come for him but we see these little reds there and no
one's in and knocking at the door of the basement.
The other one shows him he's stalked downstairs, a freeway sub-right, main stairs, actually dropped on the kitchen,
had to different evidence and sat down on logs just to scan as well, surely?
Waiting for his image drawn is to give away the location of him.
Oh, watch out, they need 1v1.
And with that, it's two kills, thanks to Nina, coming through with the C4, armed to the Blackbeard.
I think we're going all the way to round 15 here, Pengu. It's a 3v5.
And CAG Reef has been forced their way into it, with Wreck on for the flank.
It's not gonna happen.
A second kill found now by Shureep.
He goes positive.
Throwing some mix of the deeberries so quick, look at the pace from him.
Now, trying to catch them by surprise.
The other one shows from the base because he's still in Sanctuary, so right now he's
through each of my dumps and doors and they feed this to this process, they could get
even numbers.
It's a matter of because Shureep is one way through now for Shureep.
If anybody from CAG could get it done, it's this guy right here, number one player in the
league.
Two flashbangs and a drone.
Potentially bait out some info.
Bait out a peek here.
Scars know that it's up to Shuri to make the first move to go for the peek.
Washoi is coming for CAG and he's found yet another pick to lock in what was a very strong
round on the defensive side.
It was an attack as paradise in regulation here on OT.
The defense are digging deep.
Now we go back to Skars on that defensive side, but with the church bombsite locked,
round 15 is coming right up. We go back to the operator bands that we had on the Skars attacking half.
They were able to make such a miraculous comeback happen on this attack,
but can they do it again in overtime? No second chances now.
It felt like very uncharacteristic last round there from CAG.
I mean, Saka, he was waiting, holding a tiny angle, waiting for his teammates to drone.
He just had to sprinting into the open arms of Wachoi.
And CAG, for the first time on the attack with Clubhouse here, just flipped the attack.
All the rounds to 1-3 was there was 5 people working together for a solo objective.
This was half basement roam hunting, half extension, clear on CCTV, half people attacking
the bomb site.
It was all over the place.
So perhaps now CT will like to be on the defensive side.
That's where they are for the final round.
So maybe happy, maybe not.
We'll see what the result will be.
We want Nina looking to play his next operator.
Saw some fuse, saw some nerf, hovering the glass right now.
And they're playing on a lot of heavy utility locks, right?
We've seen the ying being locked in, lying with the glass, with the solid snake.
Hopefully some smoking is here on the filmite as well.
Yes, he does.
So, Olas and Nina, and Yukis, and Fishlight, combining the Ying-Liang Glass can easily
net your Garret's control, can easily take over the bomb site.
It has been 362 days since CHE lost to a Japanese team.
The Kings of Japan have never been contested domestically, not in recent history, it's
than a year since Enter Force 36 funnily enough was the last team from Japan to beat CAG.
Right now, in this stage, when the Osaka Major is coming up the first ever International
Tier 1 event in Japan since 2019 for the last 7 years, coming back to Japan, CAG are the
obvious picks for that event.
We didn't think any other Japanese team would be in conversation for it, but if SCARS can
Take this win here.
You're the first team from their region, from Japan,
to take down CAG in a year.
Then anything is possible.
Come playoffs.
First pick, though, for CAG.
Does not spell a good start to the round for Scars.
Mind you, that was a fair match, so most of the hard
destruction is now gone.
You can't open it.
It's on you, kids.
Only already spent one over there.
And once Saka, the sole player, had things out of bounds.
But if they didn't drop down the hatch, shots missed there.
from the main door, they do not get that 4v4 action, they're wasting so much time looking for that kill, only not to find it.
So it's time for plan B, plan C, they're fishing, they're holding windows, they're holding rotations, hoping we see two to walk into the crosshairs, but they're not doing that.
They have people right by the bottom of the site, knowing that Skars are playing from the back foot, that since Firmite is dead.
It's way too slow here for Skars. Even if this was a 5v5, you wouldn't be banking on them to win it
when there's just over a minute left on the clock and they don't have rafters control.
They're only just getting a breach here on the connector wall.
Once this wall opens, really, Amateur is going to be the focal point here for Skars.
And ooh, he's still got to play for a brief moment. He can actually relocate thanks to
that key to barrier and they won't know about it.
Stuck in corners and defense, but stuck outside as the attack and nothing's really moving.
I ask him, who's out, and he finds one, back to the numbers, and he's dead.
He is indeed.
And the Glyves still retains his position outside, I think Nina's going for a rotate.
He wants to try and take garage.
This is tough though.
He's going to be in a 1v1 in this garage position, and that was the diffuser!
Are you kidding me?
Skars you had a chance you had a way back into this round, but they've let it go by the wayside now
They have to go back safe, but sure it knows exactly where that diffuser is
It's like a pick up his teammate is 10 seconds left and there's surely no way that they can get to that diffuser in time
They need kills and sure he can just continue camping his spot coming up from down below
It's zaka and DD man. Let's finish off the game
Scars can take a shot at the king, but if they miss, then CIG will make them eat their words.
It's the closest we have seen the kings of Japan push in a hot minute, that they will not go down.
They will continue battling until the bitter end.
I mean, Scars at least get a point on the ball by going to OOT, and they take a point away from CIG, again, because of overtime.
But that should have been a victory, surely, right?
sure right especially your member of Scars guys we're doing it over so close
over throwing oh my god how did we lose this game so much frustration round after
round in the later game but what did we say on the desk or into this CAG have a
higher win rate when the game goes past nine rounds CAG have a higher
tendency to win once you enter overtime so for Scars they were on a timer they
had to win quickly and they couldn't get there quickly enough you're right it
It was actually 6-4 down when the CAG started to come back and end up taking the fight to
Skars again.
Wow.
An insane marathon of a matchup and credit to Skars for even getting it this close.
I certainly did not think that this game would actually go to overtime and for a lot
of this match it looked like Skars were going to win it.
I mean, if they had three match point opportunities to Skars in that game and yet they were not
able to close it out.
what it does do as you say is it gives scars an extra point on the board now in a stage where
kinetrope is really fumbling and fear acts are looking strong that extra point that scars has
just got from this game all but confirms them for playoffs i mean not mathematically not statistically
but you look at the upcoming games here the scars i mean they're playing double rx fear x and d plus
i mean double rx you'd expect them to get three points out of out of that game and we'll see what
what happens in the other matches, but let's go and have a chat with Zaka from CAG after
what was a very tough game, but one that you guys ended up overcoming.
Anger.
Hey Zaka, man, that was an anger of a game.
Really tough, I'm sure for you guys.
What was it like when you guys had that comeback from Skars on your defensive side?
They had you down 6-4, backed up into a corner.
What was the vibe like in the team after you'd already burned your tactical timeout and you
was staring down match point well since we've been like practicing our
mentality to not break so like even if you were down four six like you were
just like hey let's just play our game we're gonna win anyway so let's play
like let's play our game literally so the bias is definitely paying off okay
yep when it comes to the things you guys are doing really well you know the
first half on the attacking side if scars are playing you know the Kai
two brow you guys had a problem a solution for it rather if they are roaming in a solution for
it it felt like you guys always managed to use the attacker repeat to get the perfect amount of
operators on the right players what's the communication like internally when you guys are
making these decisions is it DD saying you play this you play that is it anything i want to play
this now do you help out talk with the process of operators um so i'd say like in percentage like
30% is like, okay, I want to use this when DD calls out like the attack that he wants to do but mostly
it's like DD saying like okay, you play this operator and you play that operator and
it goes, it starts like that.
Okay, thank you. Wow, he's like the chess board. He's the player watching the chess board moving
you guys around like the little chess piece and then the puppet master. Is that how it feels playing
DD? Because that would have been very different to when you back before you had DD on the roster and
he was just coaching. I mean obviously it's been a long time now. What has that evolution been like
in the last year that you've been playing with DD? How has that actually changed the way that the
team functions in the game? I mean it just feels so easier man. You just gotta listen,
you just gotta be like a robot, just listen to what he says and just hit the game and just kill
enemies. It's literally that simple. That's amazing. I mean it's great when the pressure is
I'll fry I mean that would have been a big relief for you guys coming through winning that you know over time your next games
Are a mix right you've got BME which should be a pretty easy target
Can you be my enemy but then you've got D plus and KineTrip?
How do you feel going up against those foes knowing that you consistently beat them?
But they are particularly D plus looking really strong especially with those roster changes that they've made
Yeah, we're not really gonna expect anything we just want to play our game and we want to play it
So, I mean, yeah, nothing is going to change, no expectations.
You are very tight-lipped, but I respect it.
I mean, it's objectively the best way to be as a player.
You have to have no expectations.
Look, you're so chill for a guy who's just played 15 rounds.
I feel like even after watching it, I'm shaking a little bit.
So credit to you.
It's clear that CIG has put a lot of time and effort
into the mental aspect of the game, which is everything.
As you know, I'd love to toss you the mic.
Anything you want to say to anybody watching in English or Japanese up to you?
Oh, yeah, um, first of all by the cg skin, you know, gotta say that. Um
Thank you for all the Japanese fans, you know
My friends watching here and my friends watching the Philippines. Thank you to my parents
And I think just thank you to everyone watching
Amazing thank you so much zaka congrats on the win and we'll see you in your next match
All right, thank you. Bye. Bye
Wow, it's so notable how chill he is. I mean, Zachary is already like a very chill guy,
very quietly spoken, but it's funny, I did an interview with him at the Esports World
Cup after they beat Shopify rebellion and like even just he was like, oh dude, I'm sorry,
like, you know, my English isn't very good. And obviously his English is great, but he
was more nervous just doing like an interview in person than he was playing that match when
they were down 6-4. That's a massive testament to the mental strides that CAG have taken to get where they are today.
But they were pushed deep by SCARS, a banger of a 15 round game.
Could we be in for another banger to round off the night?
What we'll find out in a few minutes with B&K Fear X taking on double RX.
It was a bit of a mixed feeling. It was like a bit of sweet beating him because obviously
I wanted to see him succeed and I know how hard he works so I really wanted him to succeed
but at the same time obviously I've got to compete for myself. And there was one game
we beat him and I had like 25 kills and everyone was like wow that must feel so amazing but
I walked out into the hallway and he was already there to shake my hand but I just felt horrible
After that game that we beat him in the 2022 Six Invitational Qualifiers, we both kind of walked down and said to her we want to do this together.
I felt like I was finally happy winning because we were doing it together.
I always had a dream of like lifting a trophy with him on an international stage or whether it's like an APAC LAN.
Unfortunately, we never got to do that, but we still got a lot of good wins.
We won Oslig a lot together and I think that was like the most rewarding feeling was winning with him.
him. Perpenhagen as an event was to be honest our whole team we were just walking around like fans
like we had a bootcamp before at uh Australia's HQ and the MAE team was bootcamping and next to us
and we just spent the whole time like like sport just walked past like but uh I think like we weren't
really fully locked in and we didn't know what international competition was like so it was
definitely a huge wake-up call for all of us and we went back and the next event was a lot better.
The start of 25 was I was lining up with the first team that I played on pro without my brother,
basically, and there was a lot of hype around it, EU imports of course, and for some reason playing
Siege just actually didn't feel the same to me, and for the first half of 2024 that was
sort of the whole thing. I didn't find myself passionate, I wasn't into it, I was showing
up to scrims like I showed in the results, that was my worst six months of Siege in my entire
career. It took like an off season of me getting back into a team with my friends, which was
the Chiefs roster which was really good for me and I got my my want to play the
game back as well and I think having my brother on the team helped a lot but I
think that Chiefs team that I was on really got me back into the swing of
things and it made me want to play again and now I'm on Enterprise and I'm so
happy with the roster just playing with like five friends. For the six months that
I was not on a team with Mitch it was it was definitely a weird feeling and I
think that I didn't adjust to it very well and him coming back into the team
made me realize that me just being my own player was I definitely didn't do it
do a very good job of it in GG, but him coming back onto the team made me feel a lot more
comfortable. At the same time, I achieved so much myself that I was no longer sort of
in his shadow, I was no longer St. John's brother, which was a good feeling, but at
the same time I honestly did not mind being St. John's brother.
Just the one game left for us here tonight, and look if our previous game is anything
to go by, then it could well be a banger. We just had an 8-7 overtime penguin the first
time that CAG have been pushed over time in a best of one all year long.
The one in the games.
At the end of the day, no one's going to beat these guys, they're going to go to every
LAN as they have been in history.
I'm going to turn you down actually, I'm going to turn you down a little bit.
Alright, VK, Phyrex, they are the one and only great Korean team that we have.
We have a good Korean team in Trippy, but we only have one that is currently making
a statement and putting forward their best argument as to why they should be in the playoffs
at the moment.
Phyrex started that with a big game against Kynetrope.
They came back from a deficit, they reversed swept Kynetrope, they won an OT, then they
7-0 the other Korean team in trippy, but unfortunately last week their game against CAG
Which we're watching the highlights of right now
They only want a single round out of the age that will play which is why that highlight reel was so damn short
but of course
Phyrex has so many the OG's of
The Korean scene some of the players that really may name themselves Woogie May, a soldier insane rider
Yeah, fortunately Misa the retiring has changed the situation a little bit for Phyrex
but the rest of the squad don't seem to be worried at all about that.
And of course, their opponent in double Rx, they are actually a hot off to Gita right now
because they actually got a victory in the last playday's match against Can You Be My Enemy at 4-7, in fact, on the map of Clubhouse.
So they're kind of coming to this with a bit more confidence perhaps, and I think a very well timed one as well.
Looking at BFK, it could be Rx here before this matchup, I was thinking they're going to be very favored.
But now with DoubleRX, I feel like they actually have a chance of winning.
They've actually changed the conversation entirely for me.
Also, mind working, they also have Nix as the coaching staff, and I was well-informed.
So, they actually have an important helping of the boys.
Very exciting to see you play with as much longevity in history as Nix jumping over to APAC.
But yeah, for DoubleRX at the moment, the situation has been pretty dire for a while.
Funnily enough, DoubleRX is actually a continuation of that Enter Force 36 roster that I've mentioned earlier today.
A year ago, some of the players that were on this team were on that Enter Force 36 roster, which was the last time a Japanese team beat Pag.
But of course, so far in this stage, yet to find much success.
They lost to D-Class and CAG. Now they play Furex.
Let's see what they have to say.
What map are we going to go on?
Give me a Villa, give me Villa Villa Villa Villa Villa Villa
Do it, do it
Yes!
Yes!
Oh, yeah baby, we're going to Villa
I am undamned keen for this one
Fyrex, I've already set an O-Trippy on this map
DoubleRx just seemed to be the next victim
Up for them to take on
If it is scary, please speak for DoubleRx
I think being K-Fyrex's playstyle is so good on me
Like, I'm playing structure, playing layers, playing fallback strats
I guess the benefit is that since being a fear's picked it,
WXP gives it to us a starting side and then we'll force it on defense.
We are expecting Villa for now to be both defender favorite.
Maybe that will change with time to be more tackle sided.
So WXP kind of built up a good bit around here in the first half.
Yeah, and look, I really believe that the top four bomb sides on Villa should be attacker sided.
But look at that beautiful facade.
We go to the beautiful Sicilian countryside tonight
to cap off what has been a lovely evening of siege.
Grab yourself a glass, have a little bit of temponilio,
might be have a few bits of cheese and prosciutto
to round out the evening and strap yourself in
because this is gonna be a banger.
Ferex will try and make themselves the best candidate
that they can to be in the stage finals
and after losing to CAG a week ago
in such a dominant fashion,
they are certainly king for a bounce back.
But double RX finally have a win under their belt after last match when they played CYB and me.
So I'm sure that they will go into this game with high expectations against BNK, Fyrex.
I'm running rid of the side of the snake and the Daemolus here, a tight team BNK, Fyrex is early aggressive playstyle on the attacking side.
Meanwhile, Fyrex, classic fashion here, particularly the Asami and the Omaida, but a protective shield that defense can have to strengthen a lot of these different playing positions.
It does kind of force double Rx into playing verticality, playing plant denial and or playing traps
and they're kind of bringing a lot of that right now, they got verticality in the openness like your pulse and your solid
just having like multiple C4s around with the mirror as well, they got plant denial in the tachanka
and then they have to say soul trap operator in the thing where...
So I like how they're starting off this round, they are going to go basement, that newest bombsite in the map
In case you're new to watching, we'll now just re-enter the composite map pool after it was taken out in 2023,
and it has received a mini rework, we can say.
It has only impacted the basement bomb site, essentially.
This hatch has been left hallway leading to it, that's a new addition, of course,
but the upstairs hold the bomb sites, the angles, the reinforcements, those have all stayed the same.
So we're mostly looking here for differences in the basement site.
I agree you're great that's good
Actually, I'm with you though. Oh, yeah, I think they have changed top floor
In fact, I thought we called this wall being there. It turns out that you're you're all
People I don't think anybody knows that other than you're just like, you know
Assume only now man, and you better not forget it
Turning did my mom call me the night and she was like oh, yeah, you're turning 28 this year
I don't know 29. She didn't believe me. I just bought the receipts. It came my passport to show my
She's like you're turning 29. That's crazy your 30 next you make no real life
Come on, colleague
Never even saw him
Now oh my get a double for his trouble Yinseng shut out of it
That's no more blackbeard no more Kali and very little hope left in the round for fear X
The Roman Chanka
That's not what we see every single day getting both the Kali and the blackbeard removed from action is incredibly high value and
All the gassing above in key fear exists attacking prowess and how they're strategically
Let's one two three and how they like to pick apart the setups. Well, how do you pick apart? Just losing those gunfights, right?
You should have aim better do better next time
Smokes the glass, but maybe there's this life in this round. It's also going fire available. It's very very plantable
Yeah, I mean, yeah, they're not really nearby. Just give up this much ground. There's a lot of respect
Oh, he might be!
Yeah, 1HP for Ryder, which meant that the
The Satsi-4 or the fire landing from the chenka would have won the round surely, I mean even Akasu just being on the solace in position might have been able to enable that plant denial.
The double Rx after finding two early picks on the roam have let it slip through their fingers, unless they can make this retake possible.
Ryder finds one, traded back, now it's all on soldier with Akasu on the ground.
Got to cover that nice shot onto you you 1v1. I didn't be able to go through the pickup here time is ticking away
Jim has decided to go pick up onto Akasu and all it comes down to down the soldier is to cover it a couple of
3v5 and the plant goes down and the post plant from soldier fear X start this game in style
No, that is absolutely ridiculous. I just want to write you guys this C4 onto the planter of writer
He had literally one HP left available like you do one more bit of damage you get any bullet
Like through the smoke grenade you just win the round that's double RX. It's easy
Yes, but they planted far left of the bridge. It is such a strong postman from outside the building and they can just win that despite having
Significant disadvantage in numbers and health bars. What a what a heartbreak in first run of double RX though
They start off social and Maui finding the two most valuable targets early on that should be round over
really strong post part as well from a position that's very hard to hold in the
post because of how deep you can get as a defender and not as close to the exterior of
garage I can't help but feel like double RX made a few mistakes especially in the
retake we've gone for that reply of last minute was very pausey but it was never gonna be on
your side. It's a shame when you see a team that is probably going to lose the game. It
starts so good, gets so close at the start of it. I mean, rhyming the chanker finds two
kills. Good job now, the round should be yours. In what universe do you think you're
going to climb down? You've got Solus, you've got the chanker, and two C4s, man.
You're exited impossible. It goes to show that even if the round seems already won, you
got a state discipline then make sure that you know you have hand and eye on
the right spot you have the right heiress being washed by guns so you have a good
concise plan for the retake if a plant where to go down leverage the fire
a little bit more effectively for example but soldier be very happy with
that he became the playmaker three kills had the glass one the round normal
first plant makes a wukima is calling and the riders plant ability
down to different bombsite not too far away though just above the basements of
dining and kitchen and similar intro here in the team on the poles. I really love how much
poles presence has returned to the public stage across various maps like your consulate back
when I was in the map pool because we have replaced it here in Villa, maps even like Chalet.
The Reaper getting buffed, the secondary new SMG has really shifted a lot of value back to some
of the old operas that was forgotten a bit. We've seen it being brought out on operators like your
your aura, your sledge, your pulse, etc.
Nice preparation.
Yeah, I love it when minor changes like the Reaper changes a lot for an Operator.
Even just for Zofa, I mean getting the two speed again.
Not to mention the extra buff with the explosives.
Here comes the sling straight into the bombsite, somehow silently Yinseng finds one before
traded back, but Orgono has actually done a really solid job here with the Uzi finds
two, unfortunately flicks off with the C75 at the last moment, now bombsite control
well within the hands of Fyrax.
I get a diffuser back up, it was lost, but we'll commit inside a memo.
Should we have to walk on there and break it up into C4?
Oh, he's right up front.
He's right up front.
He gets one.
Great audio cover there with the nitro cell.
Still no case.
Where is that diffuser?
He's talking memo.
I'm worried about the version for it.
Yeah, yeah.
Soldier gets it again.
He's gonna rotate over to laundry to get back inside again.
But of course with Yu-yu up in stat, he can always drop down the hatch.
down the hatch. Mao is in position as well, just outside China. There you go back inside.
No lot of very safe plant positions. The fear of actually not going deep into the bomb
site. Mao is watching that main entry into the objective right below. Unable to sprint.
Comes up from them. Wants to get that defuser back, but Mao knows exactly where it is. This
round should be re-unwinnable here, especially with you going for a flank. Makes a lot of
noise caught by the air jab but still a 1v2 for Ryder, the drop down for the uu easy confirmation
of the final kill, double rx, find a defensive round very solidly on that unusual tertiary
bomb site.
I mean it feels like the way that theorists are gifted the first round, they got a gift
one back, I mean that was gonna be such an easy round victory, they're in the bombs and
they get two first picks and then miscommunication, wukimand looking in the complete wrong direction
When his teammate dies from the middle of the bomb site, he's looking up the vert.
So he dies as well.
Then the case is caught on the floor for about 30 seconds and no one picks it up.
Then they go into memo, they pick it up, they rotate outside the building to run all the
way back into the arms of Maui, locking down that rotation angle right here, and they die.
They could have just walked into memo, walked back to the bomb site, started planting.
The last attacker had one angle to watch, the rotate that Maui was playing from.
It shouldn't be even that simple, it's difficult, again Villa is still a new map back into the map post
so there's not going to be as much experience recently on the side of the players
so I am allowing, expecting some mistakes to kind of fall through the cracks
but very uncharacteristic that it was a team of inkyFerix that would make those mistakes
I feel like this is one of those games where inkyFerix on that day are an incredible team
and play some really tight and siege, but at the moment there's something about
double rx which is making fearx kind of sink down a level a little bit like
they're playing messier double rx are playing this messy playstyle of rome
chancre in the first round letting fearx execute in the bombsite but then
being strong for the retake it's creating very chaotic game and if double rx
continue playing aggressive and fearx continue getting caught off guard in these
little moments. Northern Mac, I'm for a lurk. It's the day of the lurking. She's back in
the meadow with the vengeance. We've seen her with the shotting, now she's with the
DMR on JLT.
I'm trying to show her why it's being brought out. When Nina had the big clutch on top house,
it was like not against any of the camera operators. It was the same story here. There's
no intel on the side of defense. But I guess you get the grenade, you get a DMR, what's
up to like looking for an angle is a long one DMR heavily favored but it's all
about knowing exactly where your enemy is and that will favor defense because
they know what to watch or it's DLT which is a lot of open angles you're
watching for him yeah it's a really nice angle preset up by the defense very
aggressive way for you to play the main stairs typically you can survive on the
main stairs for that long if people enter into the building from just below it
I mean there's so many staircases, so many doorways rather than outside the building, you just walk in, you can aim double-ball, you can also hit the car.
Especially if you got Util, especially if you got a shield.
A lot of rotations with VRX, they haven't found that they want it, the fishing not too stressful.
Having GLT has said guys, there is no pressure in the server, I cannot progress here from the red staircase in which he's still standing, just waiting.
He needs his teammates to make some pressure first to enable him, or perhaps he walks up
to his base benching himself, but then gets shot from that far angle.
And he gets the members of his teammates to step up here.
He cannot be the sole pusher.
Activating person's reduction.
They go past it.
They call it upstairs, actually.
It is really possible.
Okay, I mean, this might be possible.
Will you guys jump to the same window?
The mirror window has already been disabled.
Excellent, Carly earlier on.
Yinzang backstabbing as well from 90.
With that pick, this might just be winnable.
He cuts out a blank potential here.
Yinzang has found a second one.
You're right.
and diluted chaos in the server.
Fyrax find themselves in a planable position.
Coming up from the red stairs, Akasu shut down Yuya, you cannot find anything.
It is a flawless round, yet chaotic indeed for Fyrax.
How is that a flawless round victory?
They're all locked up the building for two of the three minutes.
JLT was seen on red staircase, sprinted past the entire setup,
walked into the side, walking around jumps into the study window with the shield
and they just destroy them.
Jung's saying DMR entry, pistol swap, gets the second kill. Everyone stays alive.
Third operator ban, not sure if worth banning a shield when it comes to double RX here, targeting the attack.
I'm actually not sure what they're gonna go for in general.
Yeah, it will actually be one of the shield operators. Okay, so no more blitz, just the BB, the Monty, the fuse, and on the flipside,
it's all about that verticality, removing the post-mactions that you won't be
fearing those C4s from beneath.
Here comes a very early tactical time out here from double RX, I mean, to be fair, you
saw what happened before, I mean, Fyrax now two rounds have gone for these explosive executes,
even, I mean, actually come to think of it, Pingu, they've actually done all three rounds
so far.
The very first round, they went for that fast pace, let's just try and throw all our smokes
and plant from a deficit.
round they tried to sledge and breach the site straight away third round they
went for that execute very early on to study I mean like time ticks away but
they just went crazy. I think double RX maybe aren't quite ready for that.
I mean it's hard again like I said Villa is still a relatively new map to the pool
and most players in the side of double RX probably hadn't played much off it
or on the other side I mean rookie man he's been a pro player for a very long
time he's probably got some good experience so it's a matter of catching
up from like the first time versus re-learning the strategy you already had done before.
And the villain is a map where the pacing can be a big tricky because in a way I see
it a little bit like Skyscraper but it does have a middle staircase of stairs that can
be utilized that with something GOT.
Once you go for a massive victim attack, right, a roam clear towards statue, you're locked
into that decision because rotating takes a long time even running on the roof and you
make a lot of sound. So it's very hard to say, ah! Plan A! Oh, actually, let's flip
to our Plan B. It should be kind of obvious for all the defense when that happens, and
it felt like in that previous round the double RX didn't even understand what wasn't and
what was happening in the server. If there's no pressure at top right 90, then obviously
there's going to be a study attack. If there's no pressure study, then there must be a master
bit to push over. And it just didn't have the feelers of what was going on, and now
we're losing the pulse that's going to be even more challenging as you can't just scan
for those heartbeats. Yeah it's an unusual band though, that pulse.
I'm not convinced at the moment that they're going to be able to be hyper aware of these
rushes, these explosive exits from QX, because that is the thing that has been common among
all of these three attacks so far, waiting for that perfect moment and going all at once.
double rx need to balance the roam game so they don't get flooded but also making sure
they have enough presence on the bomb site and enough utility to deny an explosive execute.
Now if the attempt at denial from double rx is going to come in the form of c4s, well
the thatcher is going to be here.
HG max!
I'm sure there's going to be a lot of success so far, 5 kills in a single death.
It's by playing the supportive and flex role for his team.
Orgimand Catrice, they shouldn't need to go to play for the scoreboard, but we've seen him already once this stage, after he popped off and has to.
We did that on fortress in a previous matchup.
Now, there's a memo for GLT trying to take that middle of the building space, lock down the red staircases, the flanks, and they're fishing for a three-ton set of diamonds, but no one is there, guys.
It's been a real slow and steady down here, I mean.
Kind of chasing ghosts, kind of just going for like almost as if this is a clubhouse,
let's clear the map, let's set out, let's open the hatch.
The problem is, I mean, this basement defense bomb site is actually going to be hard to
crash.
Here comes the Thatcher and the secondary hard breach to open up.
The second hatch that goes down to the basement, the FiraX, are opening up all the avenues
in the bomb site problem is actually still a full reinforced wall as I say that it's
now being reached open. This is where they planted last time but it's not gonna be a
spam smoke plant this time around. It could be a hatch drop into a plant with that you're
watching from planting an aisle honestly because there is like a corner you can drop into.
This is much more of a stiff theory pressure kind of style. It's like from all the angles
with the grim bees with the intel but this shotgun is hard to beat in everyone. I don't
No man, that's a nice big shot on the M590 but how about the Baylif?
Wookiee man wants to try and bait out that first shot because he knows he has the fire
advantage.
Problem is, if Maui falls on back, I don't think the Baylif has the range to go for that
fight but never mind, he brings out the 5-5-2, takes to fight with the AR, out in the second
as well.
Wookiee man ends up being the Wookiee man, the double RX.
I look for a third one, why not give it to him Ryder?
But that train all the way home, it's Koromomo in a 1v4, the insang on the floor.
No way to derive this plan, surely not, gets close, but Woogieman makes it a 4 piece.
Massive round from the Boogieman Furex up 3-1.
What did I say?
This man should never NEED to be a monster on the scoreboard, when he has to become the
entry become that clotcher he will.
And very smartly played for his gunfire by using the Grimbeast peeling back, having instilled
the shock on the primary and then just a crazy shot in the second,
the pre-fire one-tap with the primary commando weapon.
And that opens up the entire round.
It looked like it was going to be a stall out there for a long time.
And unharmonically, it was the defensive double-hour eggs that was eager to
change things around, pushing up the staircases, seeking the fights.
When they had to go to fire, when they had to cross this, they gave all that up,
trying to kind of greed for a kill.
Soldiers on fire and a five and one.
That round really was all Woogie Man and you're right, I mean, Fyrax they spend so much time setting up that pressure and in the end it made Double Rx a little bit antsy, it made them want to push back straight into the hands of Fyrax.
So desperate for a retake, so desperate to try and make their way back up those stairs and gone for a refrag, ended up costing them a round.
Phyrex is looking pretty chilly at the moment and how Phyrex just missed out in stage 1 on
the way off so they ended up tied for points with Skars but lost out on the ground difference,
ended up in the 50th place in the groups.
Spites of Dominant, 7-1s by the way, they're 7-1 double RX and they're opening game in stage
1.
They're also 7-1s tripping as well.
But the thing is for Fiora to miss the animal plows, it was a blow because it ended Misa
went and decided to move on, Natalia, now Stage 2 comes, they've had a really hot start
against KineTrope, but they need to keep it up, they need all the points they can get
so far against the teams like DoubleRX, and they need to be contesting teams like KineTrope
Scars and PPLAS because if they don't then it's going to be a very hotly contested race.
Of course with the instruction of Nix being the coach now we had to speak with him a couple
of times during the winners interview and he mentioned a lot of the usual talk you know
it's a lot about the micro the details when you're being coming in import codes into APAC
they're not bad players they're not bad aim none of like bad game theory but there are
so many small details in which to either fall short or don't do it all and that makes it
breaks a couple of rounds and a couple of rounds makes it breaks games because we play
first to seven in Siege. Like touching or losing one single around has a huge
mark on what happens in that game. The same thing when Fabio and I worked
with PCTalent, with Soldier and Riot and all the guys here pretty much as a
rookie man. They had a round in scrims where they were playing Oregon and they
were like in a 4v1 and they lost on top four like kids that drew defense. And then
our head is like that shouldn't even be a possibility because they have a full way
crossfire on the single daughter side right but they didn't because in the
small details of things they're thinking it's 41 one of us win the gunfight
doesn't matter if we had to be one to be one 41 we can just take one view once and
they took four separate one we once they lose the round and is like what the
hell do we just see so after a couple of hours of yelling screaming talking
fixing and getting our motions out we never ever made that mistake again
because from that time forward you establish a 2v1 cross fired every
point possible because you need to win the rounds you're supposed to win and
never throw those 4v1s I mean I can stop talking we can just
put it that's what everyone in chat is but actually I've been getting a lot of
DMs hey this ass came stop talking I just keep
but you as well you're dipping D me meet I should stop talking as well
There was this guy that was saying it's it's EMP not EMP. I'm like, what do I say?
There's an M. You mean M EMP?
Yeah, look cat cat. It's hard to be a cast. That's been savage this evening.
Yeah, like when you think about it, right? Like we were here pouring our hats out where we're seeing things and we're trying to make it sound good and we're
Trying our best and there's like one of these guys talking about man. Like what about our feelings?
You know if I it's exactly what the players say when we've rinsed the players for playing. Yeah, but
If I call any of chat's favorite team kind of shit today, they're gonna lose their head.
But then when they call me a shit caster, I'm supposed to just take it?
Like, how's that fair?
And you just take it.
Just take it.
Just take it.
You just gotta sit there.
Put a big grin on your face and say, that's okay.
I-I-I am a big port.
I can-I can deal with this.
I can handle it.
It's okay.
I mean, when you've been on the internet for a long time, because we're old apparently, right?
There are people in the world of which opinion you should value very highly, people close
to you to be like, no, you're your peers, you're your spectacular elders, you know,
you're your fellow colleagues.
There are people who will say stuff without any knowledge about your situation.
You know, you can say whatever you want, but this isn't going to hurt me because you
don't know my situation.
You don't know the ceremonies that you're talking about.
So when there are people like that, like for example, like a Reddit comment or like some
troll, you know, burner account on Twitter or someone in the chat.
Dude, when people are anonymous, grow up.
At least tell it on your main.
Come on now.
Whenever someone makes a comment about me, like from an account like that,
you know what I think I always think the best thing to do is just listen to it,
like think about it, ruminate, like, embed it, not like open Twitter, engage,
like fight back, you know, like get rage-baited and then just spend all of
your, you're the next week, like thinking about it.
And whenever you see like a friend of mine, this thing happened to me,
just go out and then you just like dump them about it.
and then she's like, deep one getting in your head, like,
yeah, that's, I think that's what you should really do.
Whatever, like, you know,
you're a little bit upset about something.
Just like, you know, don't chill.
I'm like, don't distract yourself.
Just, you know, fight back, you know, fight harder.
I've started fighting back, like,
but usually not in Siege, but like,
I follow all the games on like Reddit pages
and Twitter conversations and stuff.
I'm so good at rich feeding people
and it's not about Siege,
because people don't know who I am.
So people would be like, oh, this change in this game is bad.
I'll say, ha, L opinion.
And they'd go, what do you mean L opinion, man?
I've been in this game.
I'll say, yeah, sure, whatever.
What do you say?
They get so upset at spaghetti.
I didn't see if it doesn't work because people know who I am.
So they'll be like, oh, yeah, I know you're right here.
Or they know that I'm mad.
What do you think about Velo?
The way it works.
More feet up and running.
Almost never a big deal.
L opinion.
L opinion.
L opinion.
L opinion.
I think it is a shame that the map only saw changes to one of the three floors when it got brought back into the Product Map pool.
But I'm very happy that it at least got a change.
Oh nice, Transbot.
Yeah, it would have been nice to just have some minor changes elsewhere.
It's just like if you did with Toys Plan Bank and Hodor, I saw some minor tweaks.
A little bit of love.
I will say, the changes to the map being minimal on the top floor and the ground floor,
I mean, at least it's fresh when you play it because of the operators of the change.
I always find it interesting, I don't know if this is a statement that they still stand by,
but I remember years ago, the map design team in Rainbow Six specifically made a point about
saying we do not design the maps for the operators. We design the maps as maps without operators.
Wow, great catch, great little hunt there. I always found that comment really interesting
because how can you not keep in mind the operators and how they're going to use different parts of the map?
You have to say that that's truly changed, right?
You look at like Laird and you look at like that Heaven capsule, it does feel like in some way that
they consider the possibility of certain operators, but then the other tricky thing is
they released Villa in 2018, right?
They cannot account for what happens in 2023, like five years later, so you can make a map of the current operators in mind,
but no one thought solid stick would be an operator until recently and that guys changed a lot about the game
same with solace back when she first came out because she joins in prep phase
i mean that spoke against the whole uh droning operation phase
it's not an easy job being a map designer
no easement is hard
it was from austin's life
kitchen bomb site being taken again by double rx this is the only bomb site they've won so far
and it doesn't look like they'll have a lot of success this time around
fear exercise instead of going for those quick and fast explosive executes they do something a little
bit more slow and steady than Monty up in the face of Koremomo runs him down soldier delivers the
killing blow now it's a flag opportunity from you you find nothing it's another flawless around the
second in the game so far for fear ex and it's ridiculous once again it's just nothing's happening
and they get open and pick up cores they sit up for ages three to one it's just been around I guess
It's so instrumental and it's so precise and I really feel like they're bullying these newer or lesser experienced teams here on the map.
They're 7-0 trippy. I think they were starting defense in that matchup I'm recalling correctly.
And now they are 4-1-1.5 against DoubleRx on the attacking side.
Defenders protect your farm from being diffused by attackers.
And I still stand by. I think Villa is going to be the attacker-sided.
Like when we see it in Asaka, I think the top team is playing this map.
it will be attack or sighted. I think the basement will probably be the only defensive side.
I'm sorry, but for now especially for teams that are still relearning how to play Zillow,
I think it's probably the most pre-defense favorite. So I'll just 6-1 by the way. I see a
fused bit being over here by the boogie man. And the first time that we're seeing stat and trophy
picked as well on the defensive side for the final round of the half. And in my humble opinion,
This bomb site is absolute...
Oh, the shit.
Okay.
Interesting.
I'm curious to see how long it'll take before we start seeing the skylight tech on the trophy bomb site.
There are smoke grenades you can line up from both the roof and outside and spawn that will land in between the trophy and statue kind of little windows inside.
You can walk in to statue for free from after this and free from after this and go over some pretty easy plans.
You saw a frozen one of the North American boys who showed that on Twitter like back in 2022 version of that.
I've done it and ranked myself a couple times.
Not seen them so far, but again probably gonna be saving those solos for future sets for major or for very important matches.
Speaking of strats, not a lot of the castles on the- oh wow, I like that from the inside.
People often forget that you can actually stand on the large way outside there and get deeper angles.
Oh yeah, true.
That's true.
And I always forget that.
Speaking of tricks, I don't love the castle setup. I mean, I like the idea of placing one in the
castle. The castle on the external windows, when Fyrex have been running a sledge all day,
is a waste. Put them on each other.
My opinion, they're playing a search because they got the external castle barricades together
around. They're forced into a weaker operator by baiting them with the
castles. There's one step ahead, so they're obviously great control, okay.
Yeah, it'll be good here though. One flashbang for Cormomor and you can just get pushed by the Monty.
There's a triple stack here at Trophy Door. They really want to walk on in.
They do, but a big night show onto Woogie Man. That's gonna unlock the round here.
The double RX, Akasu coming back to site and funnily enough he trades positions
with you, you would otherwise be invulnerable to the flashes, but critically has a nitro
cell. So they want to pre place that you want a skylight tech here comes the
splash. The inside wants to go through the flash. Second one to come out and then he's
going to go for the repel get inside. JLT is trying desperately to find this fight inside.
She finds a kill from the repel hungry for a little more trying to support JLT. The sphere
X are a little bit stalled out. It's time to go though.
They can't still that any longer, they make their way into staff.
Double!
Farakasu!
And the advantage has been ripped away from Furex.
Soldier who has been on fire today must now continue on the ace.
Yoon Sang tries to peek his way inside.
Soldier rotates over to the head's window.
He wants to try and make his way inside.
But double Rx are just sitting back and waiting.
They even have a bulletproof camera.
this crossfire the 90 degree angle from Akasu there's just no way soldier can
win that great tap there from Akasu looking for the ace now give it to
employees Hinseng just wants to run it inside Akasu for the ace and it's a
4-2 split fear ex might have won the half but our RX are on their way to
redemption
I'm just gonna call you now and tell you how I feel
So I'm just gonna call you now
And tell you how I feel
Baby, I'll get lucky somehow
And you'll come out tonight
Let your wildest side consume
Come out tonight, and baby
I just want to do
Come out tonight
I
You wanna be mine
So I'm just gonna call you now
Until you're gone
Baby, baby I'm gonna love you somehow
You'll come out tonight
So I'm just gonna call you now
Until you're gone
Baby, baby I'm gonna love you somehow
I do find it a second round after a year, but still 4-2 split on the attack, sets up
Furex very nicely.
Seems unlikely, double Rx will be able to keep pace on their own attack, but hey, I've
seen Stranger Things, I've seen Skars get 7-3 for things, me too, it's not the last
season.
You haven't seen the last season?
No, I was like, I was like, the last season came out, and instead of just watching the
last season because it's been ages I'm gonna rewatch the whole show from the
beginning oh man and I died out right before the finale of the second last
season so why are you love that show we talked about man I did love the show and
then it was just too much of it I guess and and then the hype kind of died down
everyone said that the finale which was kind of duty so I personally did not
like the finale but that's what I heard a lot of you I wouldn't have gone the
direction they did with the ending but I can see why some people say it was good
I just I think especially if you've been watching particularly earlier season
So we've completely derailed anyway stranger things have happened then a double RX coming back here
I mean for example we saw earlier today scars go OT
against CAG the first time a Japanese team has pushed them with distance
Is that the only strange thing that's happened today?
I think so, right?
I'm sure there are very strange things that have happened all over the world.
I mean, okay, fair enough, I mean that's not what I meant, but that's cool.
What were you referencing, my friend?
I was just thinking like the matches, because that's what we're talking about.
I thought we were talking about people, but that's the other thing.
I mean, like nothing particularly strange has happened in the matches today.
Yesterday we had some strange things happening with it yesterday the 45
It was I didn't work the game, but I saw it. I saw they couldn't pop it off
They're gonna rush send it
It's time to get a Russian
Right there rushing him now
One
He was in study the whole time. He was behind you. Now it's Jin and Yu-Yu in a tough spot and the bulletproof is also going to be in for him. I feel like this was telegraphed in a very big way.
way now a slow peek ends up winning the fight for soldier guy is seven and two
and hungry for more you you up against four players from fear ex and very
little chance that he has made day was always speaking Portuguese to my god
what's going on thank you for what's going on the big thing it when I saw it
in viruses good night with the final kill of the round very telegraphed rush
You'd be correct. I mean when I said the rushing is because they broke the first layer of Casabarra case
And then they took a breather they counted to seven and then they went again
But it's very obvious what they're gonna be doing like I said before
When you're going fast you're not really checking for those things and it's why you often play this on its snake
But that was bend away
disastrous attack around there for
eyes and end up 2v4'ing at the end and we'll always see where it's going to go.
Is that what the match-round is for?
That one wasn't much more fun to win because, oh sorry to lose, because you just laughed
about it.
Oh my god we never took the corner guys.
Haha we can honestly see the entire time, my bad.
Like it's not that big of a deal, but you're right like there's slow burn where frustration
builds up and you expect your teammates to make mistakes, make mistakes like the IGL.
That's going to have like a lingering lasting effect.
That round is gone in a moment and so is the thought in your head.
There's so many dominant rounds here for Phyrax, I mean there's been two rounds where they've
only lost a single body and two rounds that have been flawless.
So Phyrax are continuing becoming a bit of a trend, having played one sided games.
Their first match of the stage was an 8-6 overtime win and they 7-0 trippling, they've
got 1-7 by Kag, this could well be a 7-2 with the way it's looked.
You might as well see me, is that a Jackal from Upersie?
This is Jack of all trades, Master of None. That's exciting right? This guy doesn't do a job particularly well, but he's got his hits and go, and he's...
He's not a jackal, he's a jackal of none, but he's ready to go to the Master of None.
I was sure I was going to say he has a gadget, he has a gun, he has grenades, a smoke grenade, and a second shot gun.
Like he's got a lot of things, but doesn't do anything very well.
But to your point, he's probably one of the worst attackers, maybe the one attacking the entire game right now, so...
Jack of nothing master of nothing
Yeah, that is one way of putting it
Let's not do that
I actually really enjoyed the fact that Jackal isn't a super player operator personally and
My opinion is not bad this time, so we should listen to it
i think jacko should get a sense of smell so he can smell you
the feet you smell the smell of it it smells stinky like who's got the stinky socks the more
that you run the more stinky your feet get and the smell you can smell the mechanic unlocked right
there we got the limping from frost and we got the the more you move the stinkiness again
there is a way you can introduce this i'm just saying it wouldn't be a half well it's pretty bad
mechanic probably, but you know it is a mechanic, you know it's a mechanic, a little steel trail.
Well you can prevent it by making it in the smelt good.
Oh here we go, shotgun time. Somehow JLT loses it, how wrong is that supposed to happen,
but I will say for this, the borax head straight right behind him.
Yeah I mean the shotgun, the shotgun should win that.
Yeah, soldier needs to have a massive impact because Ryder has fallen on the smoke as well.
DoubleRX don't have a lot of time, but they do have the numbers here to get this done,
to get their first attack round win on the board. Soldier still waiting. Yinseng lashes out,
takes down Mao, soldier finds the double with the TC-SG and all of a sudden the round is in
shadows. DoubleRX, Jin still has that diffuser. The BNK have managed to retake and Yinseng with
the LNG, holds it down like the Lord he is. It's a full house, two for Yinseng, three for
soldier, and match point in the hands of the Koreans.
Again, a lot of unfortunate attacking round right there, just not really finding much
of a footing. It's a very linear attack down the staircase, walking through a single thorn
into crossfires and it falls apart. I would have loved to see a shield placed in stabilization,
a glass, a ying, a grim, more meta operators, sure they tried to sense, but they were sensing
off a hallway in which they already had control of, they had a playoff in the stature actually
to the right hand side in the hallway, so we never got to see much of an attempt at breaking
that bomb site whatsoever. And now on the potential final round, ying and fiat actually
do the thing that they love to do a lot of, they were just creating maze of problems,
the clash, the verticality in the poles, the wall denials, the kaid, protecting it all
with them on my discs they're saying we recognize the double Rx's problem solving skills haven't been
you know incredibly good so far in attack and side let's just make it impossible for them to have fun
in this round that's the best way to do it I mean particularly the traps and the clash
I need here I mean yeah look we could enable a vertical c4 maybe some vertical shot he played
with soldier, but there's just so many different aspects to this. And they do compliment, I
mean, particularly like the clash and the drafts, right? They compliment the small things
that slow you down. The clash and the pulse, because the clash can sit there and feed information
for the pulse, or slow down the attackers and make them more vulnerable to the C4s from
the pulse. Clash is also a great way to have quick presence on the opposite side of the
like they're seeing here. Side study, an aviator. He's saying can pretty safely get back to side.
So like you said on fire right now 10 and 2 he doubled everything, it was 5 and 1,
now he's 10 and 2. He's just keeping those numbers in that way. It's a good little 5 kd
right now for him
the box this way from opening pink right now once you can leave the way
talk it because the eyes of the players you got a bit of information
but the moment they can meet the clash that is when the round truly starts
clash couldn't be in called probably gonna take the call it's what's going on far
yep uh no answers on that very last second okay
hey wow carmer actually takes a lot of damage on his shield from the thorn trap
Here comes the Twitch drone to try and clear any other form tracks.
It's very hard to find. They can be placed anywhere.
It's pushing on a map with a lot of little pop plants and spots on the balustrads and the bookcases to hide them.
EU's coming up red now. Very one-dimensional attack though from the GlobalRX.
They are missing a player on the Master Bedroom Valconies or Astro-Repell to apply that backside pressure to box in the defenders.
Because our player downstairs is full of pills right now. They have neither of those two things.
They call the pulse, but they're so far away they can't respond to it.
Good floor is shown.
Please report which is on the bomb site.
But as long as pulse exists downstairs, which is now chained to phone call, if we could
not be called again, they cannot go for a plant.
So maybe this is going to be due to you walking on down trying to fight the pulse beneath
them.
Or not.
Oh, now it's a bit of a rough spot.
The double Rx does, like you say, the pulse still below the bomb site, who does take that
damage and still having an impact in a last shot from JLT. Here comes the flank up to you now from
Soldier, does his Nitro land. No, the timing was off. You can always go for a flank, just continue
feeding Info, but double Rx are completely stalled out all up to Jim to get off the
brand stick. He didn't even finish that first kill and Soldier finishes off what was in the end.
A dominant matchup, another dominant one on the docket for Erex. A 7-2 and another
chance for them to continue gaining points, put their best foot forward for the state finals.
And you haven't started wondering how many times will a team in the future leave Villa
open for BNK Fieryx? Probably not until a bit of restart is happening because they are so
strong on this map. I generally think it fits their playstyle so well,
even until Wukong has good strats on redeveloped or maybe mid-mars in the past.
So far, even if you've got against teams like ERG plus, like your CAG,
I still would say that being here is a really good show against the top teams on Villa.
Yeah, look, I think so. It's clearly shown that they are a top Villa team, but they are yet to be
tested against me. Hi, Eshalon, now they're upcoming games are getting harder. Their next match is
against D+, after that they'll have to play Scars. They round off the group stage with CYBME.
Hopefully by that point, Pengu, they know that a win over the bottom team in the league is going
going to guarantee them playoffs if they aren't already guaranteed.
But it has been a really fierce contest for playoffs in this stage
or for stage finals, I should say, because Fyrex are competing with Scars
who failed to, sorry, who conquered them last time and locked Fyrex out of
stage finals.
But they're also competing with Kinatropa and the Blossom, of course, Kinatropa
on the outside looking in at the minute, but that could change very quickly,
depending on what happens in the coming play days.
But nonetheless, a game like this will be a big confidence boost for Firx,
especially for a player like Solji, with his 10-2 result.
And I mean, to make it even stronger is the matter of consistency.
That was the big question mark for me when it came to being K-Firx,
and they have shown us great consistency so far.
Even in the rounds where a small thing would go the wrong way,
or, you know, they lose a couple of really bodies,
like the very first round, they probably solved it.
A smoke, a plant, a cover, a post, and just like that,
they make an unwinnable round into a victory.
In short, DoubleX kind of allowed it to happen around having adequate Tentamal within the range of the bomb site.
But to find that moment and to go for that play communicated, that's what's separate in being a Fyrex from the other teams.
They have that clutch ability when the rounds do not go their way.
Yeah, exactly right.
I think for Fyrex, looking up from here, I mean it's just about great.
We've got another solid win against one of the lower teams, but we do need to keep up that energy against the top teams.
that's where the real battle is going to be for Stage 1. It's going to be against the likes of
CHE, D-Class, KineTrope, Skars, Forest in those playoffs. And unfortunately, there's only so much
you can learn out of a game like today, especially because FioraX are one of the few teams in this
league that is actually showing us Villa Stratz, which means that I wouldn't be surprised if other
teams want to take them there later with some Stratz and Counter Stratz of their own. But let's
go and chat to the man behind a lot of the Counter Stratz and the Stratz for FioraX. It's Nix,
the coach. Welcome back to the interview mate. Congrats on such a big win today. How are you
feeling like the team is gelling it? I'm feeling great. I think the team is feeling great.
This week of practice we put a lot of focus on just fundamentals and communication. I think the
game against CAG really exploited how we are not 100% there yet on the fundamental aspect of the
game. So I think we just put a lot of focus on that and I think the boys played great today.
Yeah, they did. I mean, there's not much that could stop you guys. It feels like how do you rank in Villas going to go in the future because I don't personally think you guys are ever going to play it again in best of ones at least. Do you feel like the map pool is being built right down in the background? Support that because we're expecting you guys to make the best of threes at this point. Right?
Well, I appreciate that. I think we're expecting it as well. It's obviously what we're pushing for and yeah
I don't think that teams are gonna be letting our villa through in BO1s anytime soon
Maybe they will hold out in best of threes and playoffs
You know if they have some counter strats or you know things up their sleeve that they want to try to catch a soft guard with
But yeah
So we're picking
You mentioned the CAG game your last match prior to this obviously a bit of a struggle
Did you manage to catch the CAG versus SCAR's game today?
Because that was very spicy.
You just gave your thoughts on that game
and if it changes your perspective on either of those teams
at the moment?
No, I mean, I think, obviously,
CAG is in the top team in the region for a reason,
and SCARs is formidable opponent as well.
So the fact that we still have to play SCARs and D-plus Kia,
which is our next game, I think, is going
to be a great challenge for the boys
and just a great opportunity to showcase that we are a top team in the region
and we're trying to make a statement that we can compete internationally.
Obviously, we have to achieve that.
We have to, you know, be able to back up those very bold comments.
But I think that the guys can do it.
I think they have been working extremely hard
and I think that we have something special building here.
Yeah, that's really great to hear.
I'm sure that the boys on the Fiorics like the players themselves.
It's going to mean a lot, especially going up against Skars
because failing to get points out of the Scars game in Stage 1 is what meant that the team didn't make it to Stage Finals.
How much do you think that kind of thing, the narrative, I know we love hating on the narrative,
how much do you think that actually weighs on the players?
Oh, I mean, definitely a great deal.
People try to act like it's not in the back of their head and that they're just going in and just trying to play their best seed,
which obviously at the end of the day everyone's trying to do, but it's difficult.
It's a lot of pressure with only being one spot in the region.
You have to play your top notch game against every team.
And with SCARS and D-Plus being formidable opponents as well,
we have to make sure that we're on top of our A game.
Well, you've shown that now to very dominant wins
over some of the bottom teams in the league.
And yeah, good luck for your upcoming games
against the real tough competition.
But of course, before we close that,
anything you'd like to say?
No, thank you to FioraX for their support.
Thank you to any fans that are supporting our run
and excited to play against D plus tomorrow.
Hopefully you guys will be talking to me
later that night as well.
Yeah.
All right, so mate, catch you later.
See ya.
I think so, have a good night.
So chill.
So lovely to hear some insights from Nick.
So as he said, next game is D plus here tomorrow night.
That's going to be a tough one.
And then scars next week, which are also a very important one,
particularly with the form of scars at the moment.
With KineTrope falling off and Fyrex getting that early win against them,
on paper Fyrex should be looking pretty good for playoffs,
but you know, a few mistakes against DK and Skars,
and things could be looking bad for them, so they've got to lock in.
Let's reflect upon the games from today, of course, four matches were played.
A lot of them were pre-routine, Pengu, but that Kite by Varl versus Skars game
in particular really stood out.
They did. I mean, Max or T wasn't to love about that.
not the result of things most
people were hoping for because
you tend to root with the
underdog and scars with the
commons ringing the second
half and brought it to a very
serious matchup only to fall
through at the very final step
at that eight seven scoreline.
Other than that, like you said,
very expected outcomes today.
The better teams beating the
weaker teams and the future
play days to come. That's really
going to decide everything for
the stage finals and going to be
a lot more closer matches.
It's getting juicy. I mean,
we're four play days deep, just
three to go and that means that
we're shaping up stage finals
for the final.
We're going to have a lot of
And that means that we're shaping up stage finals already and and
Performances like we saw from scars today against CH getting seven rounds having three match point opportunities
Really instrumental. Yes, you notice my segue
instrumental
But there's their success for making stage finals if they are to get there Nina was one of the big reasons why they got there
I'm VP for today look credit to soldier
He popped off in our final game
But it just feels like this performance from Nina is the reason why that game was so close against K.
100%. Also, this was again two of the top teams fighting it out and having a great performance.
That's one thing versus soldier farming against their on paper understandings weaker team, right?
Right here, Nina single-headed wins the round.
It was a rush to win sideways. It was a quick three-piece on the exit there and the opening till the start of the push.
And there are just so many moments where individually, he was saving the team, he got them to a winning position.
And then unfortunately, like I said, in the very final end there, they didn't manage to have that heroic moment of success.
And they fall 7-8, but they do get a point, and do also steal 1-0-8 from C18.
Let's have a look at the standings, because we are starting to shape up for the top 4, bottom 4 separation that will occur in just 3 playdays time.
playdays time, thank you will you find out. Here goes for stage finals and yeah at the moment it's
wow crazy to think but yeah D-class are actually in first who knows if that will remain uh in the
coming playdays we will get to see them play it'll actually be next week uh uh exactly a week from
today in fact um we get to see those two teams face off I feel like I don't know about you I feel
like C.H.E. will probably end up on top what I don't know is which of Skars, Furex and Kynetrope
end up missing out on stage finals because I really thought that we got a battle of five teams for only four spots here
I mean the the most logical I think so how about it's like Kino trope in the current form
They're gonna be missing out the rest they make it but because they're all so close within point three
So if one clean regulation victory can complete this way the numbers so it is wide open
Well, that's I think Kino Trope's upcoming games are trippy
and then double RX and then CAG like they're getting six points against
tripping in double RX there's no question so it's just can they take any
points off cabs and what happens for SCARS and DPOS because they're playing
each other and they're playing some other really hard teams the same thing
to fear X right all of those other three teams that aren't kinetroth are playing
each other right so there's a big chance that kinetroth might see back into the
So yeah, it's proven to be very competitive very tight and spicy but that wraps us up for tonight tomorrow
We're back with more a pack north looking at the the fixtures for tomorrow. Keena trope trippy double RX
Scars ZYB and Ekeg and at the end of the day V plus versus fear X
That's the game to watch out for until then. I hope you guys have a fantastic night. We'll see you for the next playday
