Well, I think it's indoors, so I think you'll have good FPS in the Heist.
Pretty sure.
The FPS gets rough on Dire Marsh because it's outdoors, it's large, and it's really foggy, a lot of bloom and stuff, like a lot of effects.
Like Perimeter, if every map ran like Perimeter, that's solid, but Dire Marsh is when it starts to get a little chunky.
Might be volumetric fog. It might be that, but I also think the anti-cheating mechanics that they put into the game is the same thing that Valorant does, right? Valorant does fog of war, and that's essentially like layering your game twice.
I mean, obviously it's not that simple, but you know what I mean? They're kind of rendering the game twice, and I think that's why it's a little bit performance heavy, and that's, I don't think they had that last time.

and that's where it seems like bubble shields come from, commander loot and cash loot.

That saved me before dropping a bubble on the ground.

You PvE. PvE will get you valuables, it'll get you better shields, implants, killing commanders, all that shit, right?
But if you want to like upgrade your factions and build your like account level, I guess, you loot the stuff on the ground, that's where you're going to be looting like loose metal and lead and all that stuff and whatever else.
I don't know what the game works like afterwards, I don't know if it's like where you're going to get your loot or how it's going to work on other maps or whatever, but that's how it works right now.
What's the lockdown event given, Marsh?
If you do the lockdown event three times, you have to do it three times in one raid and
it progressively gets better.
The first set is going to give you like green to blues, the second set is going to give
you like purples, and then the third set is going to give you golds and it could
be anything.
It could give you a gold gun, it could give you a gold mod, it could give you gold
and a backpack, whatever.
But in this build right now it seems the best way to get the best gear is to do the lockdown
event three times in a row.
On the third time you get a lot of loot.
That seems to be the most consistent way of getting loot in the game right now.
Will that change when the game comes out?
I certainly hope so because I like finding gear naturally, I guess.
I enjoy finding it naturally where you just are running around looting shit and
And it's just, you know, and you're just finding goodies.
I like that.
I like the randomness of loot.
Obviously, there's good spots where it's like a little
more controlled, and you know you'll get good loot.
But I like random loot.
I like looting random little boxes and getting big stuff.
That's fun.
I think the main appeal of this game that everyone's
waiting on is what does the raid look like?
Because the raid sets the tone for the whole game.
And if the raid doesn't look great, or it doesn't
perform great, or whatever, and people don't like it,
I think that's when the games,
I think that's when the players might be a little upset.
So, I think everyone's just kind of waiting on that, really.

As a solo player, I feel like,
oh, that shit's unattainable to me.

That's why I don't think the full gameplay loop is going to be just PvE, because like right now you get a trio, you get in there and you fuck up robots with hundreds of bullets to get good loot.
But when you're solo, that's not particularly that easy to do.
So I imagine the gameplay loop of getting gear is going to be different later.
I think you're going to make it slash buy it because you're going to get the upgrades from the factions, which gives you stock.
And then when you have stock, you can now buy X amount per day, and then that will be the way you get it.
This game definitely did gatekeep for sure too.
I don't think they want people who are super, super ahead, similar to Arc Raiders, right?
Arc Raiders are the same thing, like having like gatekeeping progression so that people that are ahead can't get too far ahead.

and have infinite space and infinite loot because there's so many containers and so much
shit to stack in your inventory that you literally, it's, you're unstoppable, right? In
Arc Raiders they crowd your storage so you can't do that and in this game I think it's
going to be no different because in this game they also have wallet caps. So your wallet
as a max. So not only is your storage going to have a cap, your wallet's going to have a cap.
So they definitely like this is the new meta of extraction shooters making them a little bit more
casual, which is so fine with me because if you make it too hardcore you don't get enough players
and then the game doesn't work and then it doesn't take off. Like you want these games to take
off. You're a big fan of extraction shooters, you want them to succeed for the sake of
all extraction shooters and just the genre in general, right?
Isn't the cap like 900 million? I think the cap is 9 million, which sounds like a lot,
but maybe it's not, like we don't know what the actual prices are.
But yeah, this game, this game's fun. There's not much of a reason to play a pass level 30
in this build, but fun.
