these first just get some quick reactions on that energy matchup and our G just you know
looking good doing what energy does best, right?
Looking good, but so did 100D.
It's not that it was really close.
I felt like we saw a lot of back and forth.
I heard you, of course, closing it out on the end.
A lot of her relics, but it looked really funny.

But last week though, cloud nine.
And I call him, demon one to sub in for oxy.
And they pulled out the wind in a hard fall victory against envy.
And you know, I think it goes about saying, though, right?
Like, demon one coming into the team,
you're feeling some big shoes to oxy,
but demon one's a world champ, Emily.
He's done this before, so it's not a shocker that he performed.
No, not at all.
He did amazing on the chamber, but I think one thing
that really stood out when he was kind of filling is,
I feel like it loosened the team up a bit,
which I'm kind of looking for coming back to this map,
because I feel like they were kind of a little bit stressed,
right?
Kind of losing out early, but I think it just brought in some new kind
of looks, I guess.
I think it's a little bit of like a mini honey moon vibe.
Yeah.
Kind of have that kind of inch of luxury player.
It's stubbing in, being a different role.
Making everyone kind of play a little bit around him.
But it ended up working because we saw a lot more dynamic
points like you would have a little lose a lot less structure.
Really good calling to from Zelsa,
especially in the mid-round.
Because we saw them do a lot of conditioning,
especially on Pearl, for example.
You would condition the mains kind of force
whoever to play towards that man and instead of traps around that.
I'm just glad that we're seeing Zelsis really just continue to expand his repertoire and ability not just as a player, but also as leader as well.
But of course, Oxy, though, as we had mentioned before, he will be back playing today.
And we're looking forward to seeing Oxy take to the stage and see what he brings to the table.
Because look, it's Oxy and he's a ball of energy and he's always going to go out there and have a good time.

to kill someone for the team, but it's not like, but it's not like
it's like okay, how do I get this kill here?
How do I set up to get this kill here? It's more like, okay, how
do we win this round? Yeah, there's a team in this round. How can I
like put you guys in a position to get the kills to win around like that's what I'm still
thinking about it's not like how can I get a killer whenever I'm obviously I'm noticing
I'm not getting killed and it sucks but I'm not like you know what the big I'm not like
harping on it you know I'm definitely been in that position as the idea or I'm kind of
bottom-frame but he's right I feel like I'm like some words yeah I feel like I'm not

So I feel like as an ideal,
you always want to think about maybe you're still doing your job,
even if you're not getting those kills,
you're still making calls,
you're still keeping the team together,
and also if you're playing that neutral heavy character,

like, I know that a lot of folks,
especially younger people,
listen to that and be like,
you're a bad aimer.
But like the reality is,
there's a maturity in that response.
that was about, you know, ensuring that it's not about you, it's about setting up those
around you for success. That's actually a bit like lesson by the way for each one of
you at home. All right, stopping self-act. Okay, no, generally it was a great thing to hear
his else's talk like that. Looking forward to seeing what they could do. But of course,
we do have to take a moment to talk about another player on this team who has also had
a nominal impact. And it's penny coming into this squad, you know, you got some great players on
on this team Athena, but you're surrounded by giants,
but then income is pending.
I mean, I think it's kind of ironic you're talking about
selflessness, because the way that Penny was playing last week
to accommodate four demon one coming in,
he was obviously sliding in to a lot of those selfless roles,
playing that onion, holding it down,
running up into sights and grabbing crosshairs
and always being not first contact.
It's really hard to get those first kills by the way,
when you are the person that's running into sight
and getting all that max-facing information,
and Penny, he did a really good job at it.
Yeah, but I mean, even looking back at week one
when he was kind of playing chamber in Yoru
and kind of being that second point for Oxy.
I still feel like he had that impact there.
He was throwing flashes, Oxy was kind of just going
and frying, right?
Getting those first picks because he was on like a neon.
We haven't really seen him play wayly
where you're kind of setting up for your second duel
to get that.
The comments that they have been playing
have been set up for the second duel
kind of just helps set up your entry to get those first.
And I think, too, it's really important to note that he's also consistent.
Like, he's played six agents so far and kick off.
And a lot of those are different kind of play styles.
Like he said, the Uru's more setting up.
You have the chamber who's just getting one and falling off.
You have the neon who's holding W into sight.
He's been super committed to different styles.
Different styles, fracking out for his team.
And it looks like he's still being vocal.
Yeah.
All of that.
So definitely really well played by Penny deserves the spotlight here.
If he continues on that path, I mean, he becomes a very scary force on this team and becomes a great weapon for the IGL to take advantage of.

I am here with Zelsis ahead of his match against G2 and Zelsis something that we need to talk about is that everybody will
talk about G2 being undefeated last year, but there was one team only that was able to take them down in America
and that was your previous team sent it out.
Now that you're the IDL of Cloud 9,
do you think you still have their number?
I mean, they're the bane of my existence,
but hopefully this time around new team,
new me, so hopefully we can pull it up.

No one expected to see the bane of Xelsus existence
G2 in the middle crack it so soon,
but it was clear on their loss of fury
that there was a lack of consistency.
And I'm going to be very upfront here in just saying that,
When you're talking about a team like G2, I'm sorry, but they hold themselves
to an incredibly high standard, and thus everyone else holds them to a
incredibly high standard, and I know that they were not pleased with the
performance that they have there.
I mean, when you have such high expectations for a team constantly holding them up
to that gold certified standard, it's really hard when you see them fall from
that. Not only were they rocking your consistency, at some point it felt like
they were backing in that confidence, too. It wasn't the playmakers that
that we normally see from GT.
We didn't see jogging them, I'll get set up.
They're way that we normally like to see and set up.
Not enough, you tell.
The support wasn't really there.
It looks like their focus is a little bit more towards.
Baby, it's just a little bit of a struggle.

something together as a team even if it's not working. Yeah, and also I just had to play it out.

This is a team that they have, I think when you look at this matchup, right?
Like historically speaking, right?
C9, G2, G2 definitely has had the number.
So there's certainly that sits in the back of the head
if you're C9 coming into this matchup,
knowing that G2, after what happened last week,
and they're only going to put pen to paper and figure out what that will happen.
Yeah, no, for sure. And I bet we'll definitely be seeing some changes going into today.
But when we look at history, though, I feel like Jitu is really typically kind of stay the same
where a C9 completely sleeps.
Oh, without a doubt. And hey, you know, while are you able to keep that consistency?
That doesn't mean new things can happen. New, beautiful things can happen.
Specifically for Trent, he got himself his ace.

That was really sick, but yeah, we saw him do so much for this team.
A lot of these postplants were looking really good.
Based on how Trent was playing constantly,
positioning himself in that area to kind of put you
to a downforce team, but playing back enough so that he can

Even made around his utility uses him as so good.
I'm specifically thinking about when he's on that defense
of half, the way that he uses his utility kind of set his
team up.
It's like they're forming calls around that too.
He's literally initiating them on the initiator
to kind of flip-side or take space showers
if they're taking short.
Things little things like that
that really changed the direction of around.
I think so too.
He's done a good job at setting up almost everyone.
I think we talked a little bit about how jogging
or we wanted to see him be set up a little bit more.
It feels like sometimes that you tell
just a little bit behind when it comes to that,
like the wayly on buying, trying to go,
zoom these up short A and just no one's able to catch up.
But other than that, he did a really good job
with postplants with those mid-ramps, like you said.
I think for me too, I'm also looking for a little bit
more of a different, a tax-side setup when it comes to a map
like a sign, because we saw a lot of those four ones,
and we saw a job, and we'll be left alone, I'll add one,
and it just wasn't working out for me.
Yeah, I would love to see more joggomot
up in the front lines, getting activated,
being involved in those fights, because I think
like, when the dog is loose, it's very hard to stop them.
And if anything, I would imagine a game like this
against C9, if you do allow John Mow to kind of come
on glue there, that's a great way to rattle them.
This is definitely the game to come alive because again,
clowning places such confidence, they have a little
bigger bit of chaos behind them as well.
But like you said, Zelpsis really good at that idea
and keeping everyone kind of grounded.
And I think this is the perfect time to pull that out.
They have so much structure and it's really interesting
to see how they play around that.
And with it, called Road and a bug,
we were just talking about mine.

Well, let's talk about cloud nine real fast just because one of the things that we had noticed
from C9 was we were seeing a real push pull kind of way that they were approaching a game.
They decided let's pull back.
Let's see if we could allow this aggression from G2 and then as a result they found some

Yeah, they wanted a lot of those rounds.
They adapted really well.
They knew that G2 was using a lot of the sky flashes to set up for a quick take or at least
getting those first kills and what they ended up doing was just falling.

life, sky flashes are done. They don't have that much stuff to kind of set up the ISO
or the way they no longer have flashes since the night they adapted really well. And I
think that that's something that coach in these kind of pointing to is that they need
to play their own game because they did adapt, but then towards the end they started
moving and shifting a little bit away from what was working. See, but I'm curious to see

What kind of call are they gonna pull out?
