I
Oh
Stay away if you don't like fun.
I don't care. Don't put that there.
The idea from Gollick Glitch kind of came from all the player fantasies and things we'd wanted to do with agents in the past
and just really couldn't. So finding a way to kind of have a release valve to be a lot more creative
and try the things that we might try in a prototype, but wanted to try in kind of a more competitive sense, right?
So it's like, what does it look like if we're using three different abilities from three different agents
against other people in like a 2v2 like skirmish style?
And we got a little team together for our ThunderDome and kind of built it out.
ThunderDome is a three-day long hackathon that Rye hosts every year where devs can get together with their friends and form a team and make a quick game project in under 72 hours.
We were able to put a really fun first playable together and we host a lot of play tests during that three days leading up before the science fair.
It's like a 2v2v2v2 so I was like eight people we had eight PC setup people were jumping in a lot of people were like
What's going on? I guess being able to be creative was like kind of neat for a lot of people
There's a lot of excitement enjoying
All of us who were on the floor and were playtesting knew that there was something really promising
This is also right around the time that we were working on skirmish, right?
And so, as the skirmish was coming out, there was also a 2v2 dual mode, and the ability draft almost felt like the next level of that.
And they were in the process of prototyping that already, and we were like, oh wow, this is really awesome.
And a really telling sign was hearing just people on the floor asking about where they can play the mode.
You see people keep playing, testing it after the ThunderDome period, after the science fair.
And you can see that it keeps fixing the bugs after the ThunderDome as well, and that's when you know, like, oh, there's something to chase there.
That's focused.
Oh!
That was so funny.
That's funny.
Shortly thereafter, we had the year planning for what it is that we were going to do in
2026.
And so knowing that we had a really promising game mode and play pattern and we were going
to focus on game modes this year, we were like, okay, let's do this thing and this will
probably be the climax of all the game modes that we were releasing.
The next step challenge for us was how to inject more depth.
It started out with only eight people and we went to 18.
We had like 2B, 2B, 2B, 2B, 2B.
But now it's like 2B, 2B, 2B, 2B, 2B, 2B, 2B, 2B, 2B, 2B.
So 16 players added a ton of depth.
And then the abilities themselves,
we only had like seven abilities per.
I don't think we even had ultimates.
Maybe we had ultimates.
So what if a wingman is bigger and with more health,
what if Skydog actually kills you in one bite?
And we ended up with this list of the crazier branch.
And the list just keep getting longer and longer.
And we're like, well, there has to be a systemic way
where we can put this list of special branch into the game.
And that's when we came up with this idea of glitch as a theme.
There's gonna be like two levels, right?
It's like, what can I do that's crazy?
And then when you realize that it's all about the duos,
I was like, how do I enable my duo to do something crazy?
What we're really excited to see is people going into
like a theory crafting and figuring out
what combinations work really well
and building their own agent
and like living up to that fantasy.
I wanna see the crazy place.
I feel like we had a lot of fun internally play testing it,
but our players always surprise us.
Also, like, the players like how messed up the game is.
You know, it's like, yeah.
It's like, you know, do players have other ways
they want to be using other abilities
and what are those and how can we help deliver on that?
I see it as almost our love letter
to our Valorant agents and their abilities.
You know, we wanted to provide a way
to experience them to the fullest.
I really live up to that fantasy
and I really hope players get to enjoy that.
Play the mode.
Tell your friends about it.
Play it with your friends, tell your parents, tell everybody.
Just get everybody on to play, gauntlet glitched, please,
so we can keep working on it.
We'd love to make more for the mode.
The sun burns down tonight
You've been there all night
I see you again
The sun burns down tonight
Now that the light calls out my name
It casts out in every day
And in that darkness all I need is you
If the sun burns out tonight
Cause the silence is deafening now
Only the sound of our hearts to be dead
Please drag me out
If we don't breathe and keep on breathing
My heaven's open, the sky's black and blue

Today, four more teams make their debut, including the number one seed from America's 100 Thieves.
They're back in Shanghai. Hello and welcome back. Today, four of Champion Shanghai,
coming live from the Jingang Sports Center. It's Victoria here back alongside Ender and Mal
the final opening matches up the group stage. Yeah, we finally get to see the
full cast of teams here come out on the stage and perform it after yesterday,
which was absolute excitement to the max. I'm excited to see what her thieves in
particular can do. I mean, you could argue, say best for last and I feel like a
hundred thieves has really delivered on so many fronts this late this last stage.
So that first game is going to be a huge finger. It's I'm very excited for that
But yesterday in Group B, we also had some bangers who started off with Global Eastworth taking on vitality from EMEA and it ended up going the distance.
Yeah, this was a tight game through and through, but to me, I thought that Profick had an absolute outstanding performance in that opening map and then Yampi just wanted it a little bit more to close it out.
Yeah, in the sage of all agents taking over on a cent for him, such a nice pick on that map, but for him to take over almost like a sage duelist while calling, you have to give him his props.
And the second match was incredible. Loud, looks so strong. And at this point, I think every team is a little bit scared of them right now.
Yeah, a record breaking series for the global debut of Tick-A-Zin. He gets two aces in the first eight rounds he plays at Champions. First player to ever do that at a global event.
He also gets a third ace in the second map first player to ever get her in one series
And we've played full game best of three sport
We played five games in one series before no one's done it three aces he did in two maps
Yes, two of those aces were in the first map in the first half. It was
Incredible now today. We're finally gonna get to see group a we're starting up with a hundred these versus t1
And then we're gonna have JDG at facing a foot Emi's third
So today is going to wrap everything up very nicely. We have a really good idea of how the rest of this tournament might be going
Now our opening matchup is the subject of today's MasterCard fan poll
And we want to know which squad you think will come out on top
Is it gonna be a hundred these or T1?
So scan the QR code there in the corner and cast your ball and remember you could use the hashtag baller in chance
Let us know what you think and yeah, you excited for this under I am and obviously from from looking around the
the stadium arrived today. There was a shocking amount of 100 these fans really saw a ton of
signs, saw some jerseys like I think people are expecting how these do well. I think actually
I've seen a couple of videos on Billy Billy with the 100 these players like doing individual
content specific to the CN fans and I think that's so sick to see you when you're coming
to you know China you know you're going to be in Shanghai for this event you know catering
to the fans a little bit and the fanfare is awesome. Yeah it's really exciting actually
been full every single day and I think today is going to be no exception. Now, before we get to our
first match, I know we've been watching a lot of games, but it's our turn to play some games here
on the desk. We're going to be playing something called Who's That? So we've got a collage of players
here in Shanghai that we'll be showing you guys. And then we're going to have to pick out a few
based on some clues. And of course, those of you in chat, please play along with us. Our little
game here. It's going to be
featuring the 10 players.
We should have been in the chat.
Right guys. I hope so. Please.
Come on. Let's do it. All right.
First one. Our hint is this
player famously kissed his mouse
on the VCC. All right. Yeah.
Come on. That's right. Yes. Come
on. It's got to be sex. Come on.
Come on. Do you remember? Okay. I
remember all of it. I remember
Wait, it's that okay. They tried to get us. We see chat chat answered that one
Yeah, good job stacks. All right, let's go to the next hint
That was now I'm not gonna lie. I think you're about to dominate this one
Canadian
I'm not gonna lie to you.
I'm just attending.
I'm not gonna lie to you.
I'm just attending.
I'm not gonna lie to you.
I'm just attending.
I'm not gonna lie to you.
I'm just attending.
I'm just attending.
I'm just attending.
All right, here is our last one.
This player holds the record for the most kills in a VCT VO3.
Oh.
It's 27 kills.
Oh, that's interesting.
I want to say.
Just VCT period?
Plus, but I feel like Sop is a good shout here as well.
Wait, no, it might be Asuna.
I think it might be Asuna.
I think it might be Asuna.
I think it's Asuna too.
No, it's Asuna.
It's Asuna.
All right, our vote is Asuna.
There's some candidates here, though.
I'm not going to lie to you.
There are a lot.
It has to be Asuna.
The more I think about it, it has to be Asuna.
They're waiting too long, though.
I don't like this.
Yeah, I got you.
The second, tweets up.
Oh, it's you.
I had them in the group.
Also, the second Canadian is Mada.
I just wanted to make sure I had it out there.
Do you know that Mada is Adam spelled backwards?
Yes.
Boom.
I did.
That's a fun fact for all of you.
Yeah, you guys are learning lots of fun facts.
And we did see Buzz there on the screen,
the only guy to qualify to every single champs in VCT.
The only player to do so.
Now let's shift gears.
Speaking of the first matchup today,
it's gonna be a Shanghai homecoming
for many of the players.
For T1's Munchkin and Meteor,
this place has and holds many great memories,
especially for Pacific fans.
This is where they won a Masters Trophy with Gen.G.
The first of many trophies won by Pacific.
But this was a huge event.
I think this was especially for Munchkin as the IGL
and I think kind of debuting the fragging IGL.
Yeah, I mean, he had a phenomenal tournament
and this was like sort of the start
of a lot of different things for the players on the stage
because you have meteors that then goes on to join T1
and lift another trophy back in Bangkok.
Like this T1 team is fully stacked of global winners
and to come back where it started
for a couple of them has to feel amazing.
I know, to be in the same place
I think a lot of fans will
agree with me on this. The
imprint that Munchkin's Viper
has left on everyone and to do
it on an ideal role is insane
to me. But yeah, it must be an
amazing feeling being kind of
at home, even though you know
the crowd will be rooting
against them like. It's such a
sick feeling that honestly, I'm
being seen sitting here seeing
on the desk. It's actually so
true. So whenever Gen G plays
on Haven now and there's no
Munchkin, it's definitely not as
It's definitely not as scary or devastating now without him, but T1 still has him, and you're right, his viper is super memorable and still making a lot of impact.
But the other teams, 100 Thieves, last time they were here in Shanghai, was also when we saw them in peak form.
Yeah, we're talking different finishes though, because 100 Thieves qualified to that event in a similar way to this one.
They came off winning stage one back in 2024, and while they were such an exciting team, you were expecting them to do so well.
up finishing fourth place in Shanghai and that was behind G2 so they weren't even the best performing
American team at the event. You know that this roster wanted more back there and it's a return
for three of their players right. You have Bang, Cryo and Osna that were all with that team.
Now back in Shanghai back in the number one seed for America is trying to make it the
distance this time around. And despite qualifying to this international the same way they did in
the team and the team is
playing in the same team.
They're playing in the same
team. They're playing in the
same masters right getting
that number one seed spot
winning their regional. This
feels different. I think
before I've been on that
hundred thieves trained before
as well, where you feel like
the hope can be ripped away
from you at any moment, but
watching this squads come up
off of their win in EWC, how
they've been playing in
stage two and even speaking
with bang on my watch party
asking him, does this feel
different and even for the
players, it does. There's
something special about what
for them as well right they're playing in Brazil against hometown favorites in
the lab the series goes the distance to game five and they clutch up and win out
in to overtime they had to work for it to make it here in this position I think
the the hopes of America's really why with this team this team has sort of
unlimited expectations I think this is a good sign especially being here in
Shanghai if you have if they can do it in Brazil I imagine they can do it here
especially against a CN team with a crowd rude against you, but are you liking the roster changes?
I assume this is a better form than the last time they were in Master Shanghai.
Yeah, I mean first of all, so happy that Bang got to have his homecoming and returned to 100 Thieves
after a year away with Sentinels last year. He's completely stepped up, but I think Timotino
as well has been unbelievable with this team. The young players on the squad, him both just having
the fragging power and Bora's calling in particular has been world-changing for the team.
For me, Vora is the most underrated player at this event.
He is a rookie IGL again.
This is his rookie here.
And in this game, we're seeing him face up against what
will be the first test for 100 thieves in the winning players
in Munchkin and also stacks.
Both of these players have IGL.
Then we'll get into it a little later where that role sits now.
But he's playing against some of the most tenured players,
tenured IGLs in the scene.
And this is his rookie here.
Yeah.
And the crazy thing is he's already gone through some of them
as well.
you think about America's and he had to cut down Valin and Ethan to lift that
trophy. Now it's just one step up here on the global stage. I think this is the
year for rookie IGLs. We're seeing a lot of them here on the stage, but there is
one veteran, one OG. You're looking at his face right now. It's Asuna. Mika Babs
got to catch up with him earlier. Let's see what he thinks about his returned
champs. Mika here and I'm with Asuna of 100 the Thieves. Welcome back to the
you've been here with 100
thieves since the very, very
beginning. So I'm wondering
you've seen so many iterations
of this team. What makes this
team the team to not only
dominate and a but also the
world. I think we have crossed
a little bit of a burden or
hunch that we usually fall.
And I would say usually, you
know, we win a stage and we
come into these international
tournaments with a lot of
hunger and you know, we're a
little nervous. But this time
But this time we're coming off of a EWC win.
So we're looking for a back-to-back.
And yeah, we have a lot of, I don't know how to describe it,
just a lot of composure, I would say.
And we know what we can bring, and we've already done it.
So we're just trying to do it again.
Awesome, can't wait to see that on the stage.
Good luck.
It is so good to see Asuna back on the global stage.
And he was always one of the OGs who's excellent.
But there's a little bit of a quietness from him.
And he seems like he's on fire this year.
He's been unbelievable stepping into his own on the Phoenix and for me, he's honestly one of the most interesting players in the tournament because no one has been playing for an organization as long as Osna has.
He has been with 100 these since the dawn of Valorant and I feel like even though he puts up good numbers year on year, there's always a question going into the postseason.
People are like, why is Osna still getting that spot with the team?
And I've spoken with Sean Gehrs, who has said the world of Osna.
And Osna, every year, he has a very high baseline as a player.
He brings so many intangibles out of the game as an out-of-game leader to the team.
And he still performs in server while taking on more supportive roles, typically.
But this year, in this stage mail, Osna took a more selfless position.
He's been unleashed on the Phoenix, and he's been putting up some of the best
numbers we've ever seen in the position.
This has been an amazing meta for him for it to finally kind of get his stride in everything in the Phoenix.
He's had so much impact and that's a role where this is exactly why I say that I don't like ideals playing Phoenix
because of players like Asuna, who can take over, who are still vocal, who still bring all those intangibles that we've heard of over the years
to justify his position on the roster.
And I'm thinking back to the first champ's appearance when he was playing alongside Hiko and Steel and Nychem
the development of the player
he's become since then has been
such a treat to watch.
It's really cool to see hard
work fail.
I like really heart-warming by
that too.
So I'm really happy to see Asuna
back here.
But on the side of T1, we also
have players who have been
playing just as long as Asuna.
One of them is Stax.
We've been seeing a lot of role
changes with T1.
Stax even stepped off the roster
for a little blip of a moment
this year, but he's back on and
not only that, they've moved the
IGL role back to Stax, which has
which has helped enable Munchkin to play a bit more independently.
Yeah, and honestly, T1 needed to make some changes
because after having a near-perfect kickoff
and then flubbing out in Santiago,
this team failed to qualify for London.
It was really grasping at straws.
And yet, I think coming into stage two,
even though they were forced to go down into the play-ins bracket,
this team really had to fight for their spot and earn it.
They had to play to the play-ins starting to lower bracket
in the playoffs, which means if you lose once, you are done.
And yet this team took down some heavy hitters
to finish third place, only dropping ultimately
to the tournament winners in global.
Yeah, they've definitely earned their spot here.
And what I love the most is really this new look.
I love the current roles that they're on.
It was really strange to me seeing T1 kind of fluster
throughout the year, because if you remember their win back
in Bangkok, they were actually running double doulas
when everyone was running breach and tail.
And somehow they stole that one away from G2 so famously.
And now this year has been defined by DoubleToolist,
yet where has T1 been?
But now with these roles,
I'm loving seeing Meteor on the Euro,
I'm loving Munchkin on the Sensei,
having more independence,
because those two roles were so in tandem
in having the most impact in current game.
Yeah, I mean, I think it's been interesting.
And watching them throughout this year,
I had a lot of question marks about it.
We had DH Stepin for a little bit,
and he's such a fantastic smokes player,
but I'm gonna be honest,
I'm actually not 100% sold on these roster changes.
So I'm kind of curious what they've been working on
coming into champs.
Like, how are you liking how T1's been playing?
Honestly, I'm hoping that the division we end up seeing
in this event is actually getting a lot more of meteor
on the chamber.
Like, that's an agent that I think has a lot of potential
in this tourney.
And what they've done with the roles,
with easy sort of stepping into like the fill position
to allow people to go back into more comfort positions.
I think, well, he's had to play a more supportive role.
It allows you to put more of an emphasis on Meteor to lock in the order and lock in the chamber, which I think can be fantastic on.
We know he's been there back in the past. I need to see a return to that form if this team is going to make a deeper run.
Yeah, exactly. And I think we might be seeing a bit of that on the stage. In fact, let's hear what we have to, what we can, oh my gosh.
Hold on, we said we got this.
I'm so excited to hear from Buzz.
I'm so excited to hear from Buzz, who's been to every single champs. Let's hear what he has to say over on MakeupBats.
That's how it's done.
Call it T1.
Hey guys, Mika and Jen Lee here with Buzz of T1.
Now Buzz, some players are different beasts
on that champ stage and you've been here
every single time.
So can you say with confidence
that you're one of these players
and do you think that T1 is gonna showcase
a whole other level on that champ stage?
Buzz, you're a unique player.
Do you think you're one of those players?
Can you tell us about T1's new performance in the Champions League?
I think it's a stage performance, too.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of our teams enjoy the stage more than practice.
We've never been out of the Champions League group stage in the history of T1.
So we're here to make a new history.
a lot more compared to the scrims.
And we're really excited to play on the stage as well.
But honestly, T1 is an org.
We've actually never made it out of the group stage
when it comes to champions.
So we're here to make new history this time around.
Well, hopefully that does indeed happen.
Good luck to you, Buzz.
T1 fighting.
Actually, the last time T1 was here in Shanghai,
they dropped out pretty quickly.
And it was thanks to two America's teams, actually.
So, not the best news that they have to face off against America's number one in the kickoff here.
But the great news is, is they've got the talent to do it.
Of course, coming back to the global stage are Stax and Buzz.
And with Boster failing to qualify for champions, that means that Buzz is the only player remaining
to have attended every single champions.
And he gets a debut once again today.
Damn, you got to get that shade in for the EMEA fans.
I think it is kind of insane to think that we live in an era of reinvention when we think about players like Asuna for example on the other side we talk about his development and improvement and his wide agent pool and for Buzz he has always been the goat on the dive duelist I'm thinking the jet and the neon lately it's like yeah it's really cool to see a player that's so storied played the exact same thing
that's so storied, played the
exact same play style and kind
of build upon it and add the
layers over the years and that
explains why he's still here,
still making it the most often
seen player at champions. It
makes a lot of sense. Oh,
absolutely. And it's also time
for the results of our MasterCard
fan poll earlier. We asked you
which squad would come out on top
in our opening match up today.
Is it going to be T one or
What do you guys make of this?
I mean, honestly, I think it's fair.
If you're looking at recent form,
100 thieves have just been absolute world leaders
since the end of stage one, right?
They've won every tournament they have played in.
I think they're coming in as some tournament favorites as well.
So going through Pacific's number four seed,
I think should be a walk in the park for them.
I agree.
Dare I say?
Yeah, dare I say.
But I think that there is an opportunity here
for a lot of surprise factor for T1.
Again, there are players.
this is I believe you were saying it earlier this might be the team with the
most decorated in terms of players is how you're trying to use yes exactly
that's one of the highest now that leads me to the predictions and the global
power rankings powered by AWS and I'm actually on board with you guys for
100 these today I think you know obviously love T1 love how decorated
they are and they have a lot of experience and strong players but I was
really convinced by the America's finals as well turn around there was
I think it's a great team.
It's a great team.
It's spectacular.
And seeing how loud has been
playing.
I'm.
Yeah.
It was like a lot of proof.
Yeah.
They lost to this team.
And I think hundred teams just
showed a lot of grit in that
final series as well.
Right.
They were really tested up
against loud.
And I think if you're going to
vote against them, you're
voting on hundred thieves back
in Shanghai, not having the
fondest memories.
But that's just about it.
That's a different hundred
thieves.
This is a brand new hundred
thieves and I'm rooting for
them as well.
So I have a credit.
Well, I think either way, both
of Shanghai from two years ago.
They both want to go for that trophy
and show a much better performance.
So it's time to welcome 100 Thieves and T1
to take the stage for day four of champs.
I'm very happy to be in the Champions League at the end of the season.
T1 has had a little bit of a disappointing run in the middle of the year, unable to qualify to back-to-back internationals.
I think it would be great if you could look forward to the good results because we are here to win as much as we can in the Champions League.
Just now in Shanghai, we played in the Mercedes Benz Arena.
That's like a core memory that I'm always going to keep with me.
100 Bs will take a foul in front of Shanghai for the last time.
We thought we could win the whole event, and we crumbled at the end,
and that was our last international death.
We just want to prove that we can go higher than that.
Delicious! On the faces of 100 Bs! An incredible victory!
I think 100% of the team is very good at the moment, and I think they are a very good team, so I don't think we should worry about them.
But, in my opinion, there are a lot of teams like 100% of the team, so we can do our best.
I feel like we're gonna feel nice.
We've always had what it takes.
Now, we just have to show it.
Get down, get down, get down, get down, get down.
Thank you guys.
G-1.
Genesis.
100 thieves.
Don't care if you're the talk of the town.
I'm the deal.
Get around.
America's winners.
These are back in Shanghai for a second shot at that trophy.
First is one of the world's most decorated rosters.
It's T1.
And looking at this map track right now,
we're starting with Summit.
This is a wild one.
Strange territory to begin with.
With T1 selecting Summit after zero,
maps played in their org's history.
But they're choosing this knowing that they had time
to prepare and knowing that the last time we saw 100
The team's play guess was a 13-1 loss to Loud in the finals.
Mel, I am so curious to know what your thoughts are on 100 Thieves Summit.
T1 have a lot of advantage in that game because they sense that obvious weakness in 100 Thieves.
Like you said, they lost 13-1 to Loud.
And I remember that game vividly.
Erdey had an insane pop-up match.
But here, they're playing against another fragging IGL.
And both teams to me will be incredibly prepped.
100 Thieves is well aware that they sense this weakness.
They smell the blood of the water,
and I think that they're going to have a lot of prep
to back this up.
I don't think it's going to be another clear cut, 13-1.
One thing's for sure, though, being a rookie on the stage
has proven to show no weakness when it comes to champs.
Every single rookie on the stage has performed phenomenally.
So perhaps, hopefully, 100 Bs has cleaned up
a little bit of that summit.
Yeah, I mean, the thing is, it's a map
that they won a couple of times previously.
So I'm still not entirely sold one way or the other
They just got run over steam rolled back against the home crowd versus loud
But to me the bigger doubt almost is what is T1 going to be playing in terms of agents on this map
They have been flexing around a lot over the course of the year finally started locking in on some role identities
But there's there's big differences between how this team plays when there's double duelists in the top versus not having the double duelists
I think for T1 you think back to when they won in Bangkok
That was an event where they had clued in exactly to the grand of valorant that they wanted to play
There were trendsetters back then with the double tools playing so much at the neon and the yoru
And now I feel like they're a little bit pulled in multiple different directions
Based on the maps based on the roles their players want to play
I think a big one for me is I really want to see meteor on either a yoru or a chamber and speaking of chamber a hundred
Thieves does play Cypher on this map, but one thing we noticeably saw in the Americas playoffs was actually a slight pivot
to putting him on chamber on a few more maps.
So I'm interested to see if their,
and their cryo is on the chamber.
They did look into that.
They saw the 113, they said, let's make some changes.
And they do have a perfect player in cryo to make that change.
I really like that.
And if we're going to look up on T1 as well,
they're just taking the playbook from loud.
This is a loud call.
They're taking through some inspiration.
They saw 100 Thieves lose 13-1,
planning to get to the same thing.
Let's see if they can replicate.
Now it's time to send it over to your casters.
It's the totally unbiased Achilleus in paper thin.
I don't think I should dignify that with a response.
We're going to move on.
What a match this is looking to be.
T1 going up against 100 Thebes.
A big test for T1.
Never going to the summit, suddenly picking it
against the number one seed from Americas
who have made that adjustment in their own right.
Cryo over onto the chamber, him versus Meteor.
That sounds like an all-timer head-to-head.
Yeah, this should be a banger matchup,
no matter how you cut it.
Tons of experience on both of these squads.
And with 100 thieves, their arms just
have to be tired from lifting trophies.
That's all they've been doing lately.
So I mean, they just are looking to continue this insane run
they've been on for the last couple of months.
And T1 on the other side of the coin
is just trying to figure something out that works
consistently.
Yeah, they've been trying to recapture that form
that they had previously, but before, you know,
when they lifted that trophy back at Bangkok,
and when they've made deep runs in Pacific,
it has definitely been a rougher road for them
in the lead up to this event.
So we will see how they do fair,
but it's always that big question
when you bring out a map for the very first time
on a stage like this, is it up to snuff?
There's a hundred thieves,
they know that this is gonna be one of their weaknesses,
it's something that they will, you know,
assuredly have been repping,
coming into this tournament after getting absolutely
body by loud on that map.
T1, they've never been able to show it.
They've never been able to rewatch something outside of their scrims.
So in theory, it should be good.
As you can tell, we're going to be doing a mouse walk down the stage.
But in theory, it should be good.
It should have a lot of strength, a lot of solid ideas behind it.
But we've also seen teams shelter these map picks for the longest time.
And then when they finally debut, it falls flat on its face.
Yeah, that's my real concern here for T1.
This is a massive gamble by KDG and company.
just to try to find some kind of, you know,
weakness or solution, you know, 100 teams.
Yeah, sure, they might have gotten destroyed by Loud,
but Loud's a very good team on this map.
So I don't know if you, I don't like it
when coaches pick maps based on their opponent's weakness.
I like it when coaches pick map based on their own strengths.
And I'm not sure if that's the case here.
We have no idea.
We have no idea.
Well, I mean, either way, both teams
going to be leaving away from that double two list.
We'll just be those solo neons in with the chamber
kind of being that pseudo secondary.
But one of the things that the desk was talking about
that I really also wanted to kind of highlight
for 100 Thieves is they were talking about
Buz and how he has always been the selfless entry
the guy that just puts his body on the line
for the rest of the team to be able to succeed.
I think Demetino embodies that in such a huge way
for 100 Thieves as well.
So I think that this is gonna be a very big matchup
that's kind of determined by who's able to get
a little bit more value on the entries for themselves
because the bull can be looking to do the same thing.
I totally agree.
I think Timotino is incredibly talented.
He's a very smart player.
He's a very selfless player for 100 thieves.
We've seen that he's willing to just go in there
and do what needs to be done to kick doors.
And just like Buzz, they're very similar players,
so it almost comes down to who's
going to be in better form today.
And you know, Timotino, is this going
to be a little bit of a shaky one for him?
But I don't think so, because they've been lifting trophies.
They've been under that pressure.
I don't think it's going to feather behind them too much
we have an arm wrestling competition. I don't know who I favor there. They're both strong
fellas. Boom bros, you son of a- anyway. Love to see that. Having some fun before we
can get the real fun started. We should only just be a couple moments away from- I'm not
talking out my rear at all when I say that Hunter Deeps comes into this looking like
potential papers for the entire tournament, but certainly for this match. Given the recent
form from T1 so there's a hell of a lot to prove for this Korean orcas obviously
there is always that lower bracket there's always a go ahead again
they're both evenly matched here yeah
it's why they make such good coaches there you go I just killed by trying to
talk cuz I'm just so interested in watching these guys actually let's just
let's just not play the game let's just arm wrestle all day but uh the new
sport. Nothing's ever gone wrong wrong with arm wrestling surely. Our players
surely nothing you know happen with their arms. They should definitely not be
doing that. Coaches though those are expendable. Yeah need your arms to
coach. I do also want to give a shout out to NBS you know a guy who's been
grinding after winning the very first champions with the Sen all the way back
here now bringing a team that's gonna be the favorites coming into this event or
one of the favorites coming into this event you gotta give him a ton of credit
the way he's got this team playing,
the way he's got them shipped up into shape,
they have been really fearsome
and the way they've leaned into outside of this map,
the Phoenix play with Asuna,
who's been absolutely stellar.
They have really blazed a trail.
And I'm sure that's gonna continue here
throughout this event, no matter the results of today.
I feel like 100 Thieves should be a threat going forward,
no matter what.
Oh, absolutely.
And yeah, what I was going to be saying was that
It feels like already even with a lower bracket still ahead
It feels like T1 might just be that secondary and final hope to be able to find a win at the start of this event
Paper X were able to do it. Everyone else is falling to the wayside. It's time to get in the action and see if T1
Can do it very much the same or if hundred thieves
Just gonna have a whale of a time with them. We'll be T1 first on the attack
back. This is generally the side of the map where T1 struggles a bit more on most maps.
Again, no idea what to expect here. Could clear the wall. Buzz trying to get through.
He's selling it. This almost is a fake. Yeah, everybody else is retaining off this one. Buzz
will still be able to find that. Heal with Meteor going to be caught in mid. Trying to
get that flight going through. Bang able to find Buzz now. And that's going to be a player
down for T1 as they work their way over to B and 100 thieves start to assess this. Or
with the instant shut down.
Munchkin gone.
Now just stacks an easy as the rest of 100 thieves.
Ready to rotate into the site, and this
is going to be a tough one.
Yeah, this is going to require some heroics.
Easy, usually really good in pistols, but not this time.
They're already so far forward and stacks missing the jump.
Spam to the smoke, gets the thing there on the board,
but he himself is going to be tagged to 20.
Timothee eventually will be able to find up and that's going to be the opening pistol going the way of 100 thieves
Yeah, so the fake here
Initially well well sold by buzz he gains a ton of space gets a kill
But the problem here is you need
Meteor to win his 1v1 in mid against Bora cannot do it. The ideal 400 thieves holds strong
Takes down that threat and that opens up the rotations
Under these really easily to cut off T1 and Munchkin knew that Bora was gonna be there challenged it lost
So the contact fights going the way of the NA squad
We have three specters a lot of specters into this a bucky for a team of Tino cry with a Marshall
Which against that probably was trying to find anything that he can get but it's gonna be to be Tina taken down
Just a bucky that can really be grabbed back up here. It's war running out of bullets. Can just swap over the ghost
But spray and price. He's connecting on all three
Still in a decent position though to avoid taking damage
Basically gonna take two more kills and well, there's crying around the back does not connect with that opening shot though
You did buy yourself some space. Oh sacks. Yep. Goodbye
No, get out of that one. No, you did maybe buy yourself enough space to get a plant potentially, but they're being so slow about this. Maybe a little too cautious on an eco. Curious is where they even want to go.
They are going to cut back into a connector. Meanwhile, 100 thieves. Double face and here's some of these footsteps, the shots.
Got a blind number four now on for an ace, but it will be banged to go ahead and take down the final kill
100 thieves getting a very clean QZR start
Yeah, and that's going to be that four is going to be really close to a nightfall quickly
He's got six kills already to start this off
So if all this tries to go for the entry, but
Just extra layers there two players holding across fire 400 thieves make it really challenging
Kind of isolating the fight and doing a damage
So far so good. Two outlaws coming into this round for 100 thieves.
Class Canada, okay. He does buy the half armor there.
There's three players that are one tap to this.
Well, Kino will immediately find value and there goes the anti-ponus. It already feels like...
He's trying to take space and be main. 100 thieves.
Giving them absolutely nothing.
Should be cooked.
Two of the players are still one
tap to the outlaw speaking of.
He's still at the headshot.
That's a headshot and now the two
remainers are absolutely dead to this
outlaw and this is a great set up for
100 thieves.
Do you even try to push from here?
I mean stacks looking like he was
giving it a consideration,
but ultimately will just drift back.
Easy very much at risk.
If they continue to go for this push.
There's 100 days I mean you already have so much money ready to go.
Bonus will be converted.
I think you should hunt these weapons down 100%.
No doubt they will just going to wait for the clock to take
and then make their moves.
I mean T1 be lucky to hang on to any guns here.
Maybe stacks gets away with it, but.
Laura swings in.
There's a spot out and he's already tagged him up to all hell.
Meanwhile, Izou dead over at Maine.
That's up to the quarter from Stax,
and he will be hounded down by Timotino.
That's a three-zero start for 100 thieves.
Not skipping a beat.
No.
I mean, this is already disastrous for Team 1.
And just a great read of the economy.
There was a little bit of an investment
from Team 1 in the previous round.
Munchkin bought a share.
There was some util that they went for,
And they knew the economic situation and they punished it.
Worked an absolute treat.
That's a great read.
And I think already you've got to be questioning this summit pick.
That feels like you need a thrifty at this point.
Try to spare any of the blushes already.
Suffer to seize will connect on a buzz.
Stop some from scaling.
Porting that space.
Swings that course.
Still was able to get a little bit of damage.
Horses that Ronnie blew out.
He's in.
Nice headshot on the Bora.
might fall no longer a concern of the round.
And so Meteor, a bit of a rough position,
does manage to get away from it.
Got the gun.
That's what's key there.
Well, this is a good opportunity.
Dug in.
You've got your crossfires.
Teleports ready.
Meteor, a great shot.
Get the fine cry on, gets that outlaw out of the fray.
to Matino looking for a kill.
Anything that he can possibly get,
but it's going to be bang!
Now it's bringing in the cleanup kill.
Wall now going to be pushed up with a segment
immediately broken down.
And it's just to Matino to try to clutch it out.
Two more targets to try to get through.
It's not in the corner.
It's a damn clean shot from EZ with a MasterCard thrifty.
Right when T1 needed the most to get themselves
their first round win.
Yeah, I think that T1 is starting
to realize some of the caps here
on the 100 Thieves defense.
They had an opening on the pistol
that they opted to try to use as a fake.
and this one, they're gonna double down in, left ones, slide in there, clear some space,
players behind in them, those players to do some damage.
So they're gonna be able to come in, get the economy back up and running.
Really, it just took that space being created by the neon.
Now you're gonna have the operator for Meteor.
still sitting on his ultimate there.
Not over a double stack here, if you may know.
T1 able to advance forward a little bit more.
Yeah, I mean, I think for T1 now,
a lot of your landing zone should be A for a few rounds,
at least until I think 100 of these proves they could stop it.
But they want to try and throw them up some attention over it,
B. Just see if they can convince them of kind of different ideas,
at least in the early parts of the round.
We will start clearing some space in towards mid, meteor with that operator.
Cryo has one as well.
Locking down the angle over from A main.
Tripping.
If that one right there.
That one could cause a few issues.
Well, Austin, I'm peeking into the angle now realizing that meteor has that up.
Now, T1 wants to go B.
But 100 thieves hasn't moved a muscle.
Still three players.
Bang just tucking back.
There's an iPhone down the deck on the two, but it's an immediate one in response and
that's going to hit a hell of a lot of T1.
Three caught by it.
Bang sees the position, but still no further scaling because of these walls.
Slows them down and now suddenly it's 17 seconds remaining for T1 who have to make a move.
Sevely working their way forward with Bora in such a full position to be able to try and shut this down.
Switch back into the code. The plan trying to be committed to it, and that's when they unleash Hell.
Three from Bang, and the round is over.
This just feels like T1 overthinking things. Like, they get that kill over into our day-links.
They're assuming that 100 Thieves is going to rotate off of that, they don't at all.
They walk right into a nightfall, the round just gets absolutely smothered.
They know Vora's over there, they should have zoomed.
Based on the way that 100 Thieves has been defaulting, they should have known that nightfall
was coming.
Also, another thing I really wanted to highlight, having a much of a chance is the Harbor vs.
Omen difference in these compositions, and I think the Harbor is much better suited for
this map.
I like this choice and you saw in that round where the high tide completely stalled out T1.
It makes him feel so very uncomfortable.
For now just going to be grabbing the orb from Munchkin one away still from having a res online because he just hasn't been able to get a single kill.
That's just talking about fragging IGLs. Well, he's the one putting up numbers at the moment.
And even though Stax has been good in the fragging department in stage two, he hasn't been doing too too much either.
So I need T1 to start finding some value out of their back line.
I assume that that sage wall is up here at the front of B, yeah indeed.
So you're going to have a kind of early warning system.
Looks like it's just going to be a five man flood for T1, which I think is going to be kind of how they're going to
a cruise some rounds potentially wait for it to go.
Wait runs along Spires but it's going to be a running in response.
Buzz could be blinded up and back in pole position to find the punish.
And now the rest of T1 they cannot advance forward.
It is 30 seconds remaining in this round.
They are scattering to the wind trying to cut back in through mid.
Meanwhile, Timatino has walked all the way out of A main.
Think you have a massive backstab angle.
Could just creep right back through.
Catch them off guard.
He might just get meteor.
He might get the operator.
They have to commit to this.
And like you say, Meteor, not the wiser.
Now they know where he's at, but can they do anything about it?
Slide across, that's going to be some damage.
Locks on for the headshot.
And it would be a 2v5.
Munch can wait in the try to intercept anybody through mid.
It's himself a kill.
He's on the board.
There is so much more work to be done.
Even going for a res from this position,
It's just no way to make it happen.
Overdrive is going to be popped.
Specks shell forced them back away.
Munchkin able to find himself a third.
In the fourth!
He runs out of bullets, I do believe.
And Timotino, oh, he will capitalize a 4K of his own.
And with it a fuse, that's going to be 5 to 1 for 100 thieves.
That's a hell of an effort by Munchkin.
Got a lot more done there than I thought he could.
But still, Hunter Thieves is just winning with the utility.
It's the harbor again that absolutely stalls out this hit.
Hits buzzer immediately.
They throw up the high tide, and there's
so little time on the clock.
You know, and Timothee knows it, and then he's
been just given free reign of the map.
So he cuts off Meteor, takes that big lap and out.
Some smiles there from Stax, but I
think the coach is not going to be so happy for T1.
ADG wants to get in there and talk, need to get some extra rounds out of this.
Again, I will say, in this Coinbase win condition, time out that for T1, they are a defender-sided team.
That's the only copium I got right now, but that's, that's not a lot.
No, certainly not.
Yeah, Dave's just been completely scrambled at the moment.
See, every time, just a bit of that utile comes through.
One player gets picked apart, it's often going to be buzzed because he's playing that single entry.
And then they don't know what to do and they're pivoting to the other side of the map
Yes, that round ends up getting close because of you know a hero folly of kills from munchkin. It's his first four in this round
But that is nothing to rely on no they don't have a ton of information gathering tools in this composition other than
Just the fade that's it so
You're having to make reads and so far they've been making a lot of bad ones and to make matters worse when they've they've made bad
reads that's also been where like really impactful ultimates are for a hundred
these that have gotten a ton of value think back to the nightfall you think
that's the reckoning so I'm honestly if I'm the coach of T1 I'm just saying just
death balling guys just send it buzz let buzz create space and just hope it
works out just hope you've read the weak side of the map
from the situation one way it's gonna be an exchange of powers for now as for
We'll tuck back.
Too far away is Cryo.
Trying to disguise this tour to force.
You know it's an act.
There's a reveal and much game will capitalize his bank.
All right, and that wall off.
Well, awesome enough.
It appears to be self-puffing.
It goes unanticipated.
Buzz follows the res.
But it's all just not even really bait.
He's left it out there.
There's a bit of a freebie for him.
By the way, T1, the kill is still looking decent for them,
but a good shot from Cryo.
Gets them back into a position where they can convert this round.
Also swinging around the flank, his own res.
Ready to go.
Slower.
Back of the site.
Stacks out.
Got to be caught by that.
But Munchkin seems like he's dialed in now.
He gets that headshot and cry out.
Back pedaling away.
It looks like he wants to just go for a save.
Knows that with the operator in hand,
he's not going to be able to do much here in this round.
So T1 will be allowed to get themselves a second off the back of the timeout.
Yeah, really key here for T1 to get around that isn't a thrifty in the books, too.
Keep a few extra weapons.
And obviously Meteor just had his ultimate.
So that one's going to be pretty nice.
Again, just going into what I'm talking about, just toying around with a little bit of the util,
and then throwing a really late haunt there, really nicely thought out.
Might need you to catch that player that was up on top of the wall.
Yeah, look at that. He's trying to get away with one there.
He's banged, but it's shut down. Still not too bad.
Still some things to share up. Yep.
You're gonna raise your knee on you probably want to have some coverage on the angle that I just killed him
Poor buzz just brutalizing this poor guys KDA
Stacks still doesn't have a kill
Now you can see 100 thieves wants to be a little more aggressive here. Oh cry out kind of over stand that angle
Keeps himself alive, but does end up being a good about damage. So he's gonna have to be used
That's not too bad there at all for T1.
You've at least gained a little bit of map space,
but again, strong side can be A400 these
because of Bora's position.
He hasn't seen or heard anything.
T1's going to go for an exploration of mid.
Timotino holding that tight angle.
But nobody from T1 seems to be interested in challenging it.
A prowler around the corner with a trip right next to it.
He's cleared quick by Meteor.
Wait for that peek.
Once the concuss, taking that Roddy Poo out, meanwhile, to Metino.
Folding on the corner.
The slide in, Buzzy will find it, but Cryo, that second layer.
Comes up with a shot, gonna be hard revealed, and that's gonna help me.
Be how Stax gets on the board, rather.
Dostin trying to stand this.
Slow down this approach.
Spawn in, and even though he takes Yuzoolo, he can't take him down.
Looks like team one for the first time in this map gonna be able to get back to back round wins
Look to three and the stacks will find a second
Okay
Starting to get a feel for the situations cryo misses a shot in there as well
I just tried to wait out the heart to try to get him a little bit
quite convert
Use the overdrive to gain some space then just work together
Don't give any opportunities for those solo players of 100 Thieves to pick you apart.
And I think the timeout was really nice for KDG.
I really like what he's doing, and so NBS does not like what he's seeing.
He says, okay, now it's my turn to come in there and turn this around, see if we can
floor T1 a little bit more here.
Obviously, the desk was talking about it, a map that 100 Thieves, after getting shellacked
Yeah, by loud, that's pretty likely. Yeah, we're gonna have some things that you know
Work on and they have I mean you can see a lot more discipline
They're getting some really good read really good timings loving the harbor play from bang other than
Riding that wall when he got caught by the hot
I mean a little bit of an oopsies there, but other than that
He's been really timely with the smokes really timely with the utile
But T1 now starting to get a feel for the map
They're starting to like understand okay like especially with meteor there when he cleared that trip and then baited out
the harbor near sight and he's like, oh, okay, I can just keep the out of this like oh, we got a piece of you
till all right now we go the other way guys
And then they just work together. That's what it really is all about right now
so let's see
Kyle's gonna have the tour to force awesome is still sitting on that red hasn't had a great chance to use it all
This teammates have just been dead on you know pretty clear sight lines that you want to be occupying
that ends up getting utilized here as it's a full five-player stack meanwhile
under thieves stacked up on the other side of the map might just be putting
awesome under the test or you might just be popping a wall and backing away
but listen to what Z1 does they look for their fourth round win
I'll go to the right
I'll go to the right
I'll go to the right
2, 3
Bunker, Bunker, Bunker
Be careful, be careful
Bunker, Bunker, Bunker, Bunker
I'll go to the right
I think they can't push
I'm going to get the Sauravus
Sauravus 8 seconds
I'll go to the right
I'll cover the CT
CT is down
I'm gonna go another one
I'm gonna go to the back
Sunghoon, you have a better vision
I'm gonna go
Wait, I'm going
I'm going
That was an open
I'm going to the back
I'm gonna go
I'm gonna go
One on main
One on main
One on main
I'm gonna go
I'm going to the side
to the trip gets cleared outside by B lobby stacks TP's over to reinforce that position.
He loses that fight, but what's more important is that Munchkin and Meteor decide to hold
eight B chip from the back site and make sure that that's locked down.
So that means that even if stacks loses that fight, they could take their fair two v twos
there.
So it's a really good call in positioning mid round that work to treat gate to one that
chance in that one.
They're gonna double down back towards a really starting to toy with the map here keep 100 thieves off balance
Ossena replies with a stun the cove is well here to delay them a little bit
So T1 is gonna take this opportunity maybe talk about if and who they want to funnel that orb to over to it's gonna be much
Good is gonna be one away from the res
You know awesome up still you get an opportunity to try to use is it's been what four rounds now
It's a big map. It's hard to find space for that res
I heard that, Wall go through, obviously now sees it, is anticipating the boost up position, but does he know it there?
It's just a hand of it left. Either way, it's a leg shot into the spraydown from Stax and Austin is dead.
Meanwhile, Cryo though, absolutely up to their entire day, but he's only going to be able to get one, he can't get out.
And there's one, he can dredge online with that kill.
Bang will kill the flanker, but now it's down to 4.
Trying to hold the line, gets the first to slide in there from buzz, is going to be smooth.
Now it's just banging a 1v3 to try to stop T1 from tying it up.
Well, 1 kill and he gets a reckoning.
Doesn't look easy, especially with stacks up there at B tower.
It should be pretty tough, but let's see.
It feels like even then, you would have to get the second isolated to a 1v1 before you're really that comfortable to try to go for the Reckoning Stacks.
However, it might just be that one on the chopping block, but he's cleared the angle enough to not get caught from drop.
He might just have to counter swing timing now. Bang will be able to take him down.
He's going to try to go on the exit, and with the players in their position, they will not be able to take this weapon out of his hand.
So, one to be carried over, and Spike is going off, and T1 have tied it up at five to five.
Yeah, I really like the adjustments that T1 has been making after a very rough start to get this tied up again.
It's incredibly impressive.
And I think this all goes back to the timeout from KDG.
He's got them being a little bit more death-balling, trying to bait a little bit of U-Till here again.
They get the wall out early, they get a hole about early.
They're gonna use that under thieves great response with the res available for munchkin to get buzz back into the mix
He's able to break that angle open leave him hanging. He's locked in that is typical buzz
Those two also try to work with and pull off their own thrifty attempt here
Otherwise team one moving up to six
Be them really rewriting the script considering how this map it started.
And Basson going to be going through, but slow up from Austin, that will just delay.
See Swords dropped, we're going to be shot.
And it looks like T1 making quite a bit of noise.
And now we're going to go ahead and just slip away.
So leaning back in towards this A side of the map.
This gives him a little bit of a backup plan to head back towards B if necessary.
He still have that trip there too, so they can make this rotation for us to be in that elbow position, but
They cut sound right at the perfect moment
they
Just keep moving forward. They're gonna have a wide open a sight
Should be able to get this plant down at the very least but that reckoning already in hand for bang
Timotino as well has the overdrive all goes up segment broken down
Space the planet you know to get the plant in playing
This reckoning, it could connect on a four potentially, it buzzed Sheets back forward.
This could absolutely be two ones I'm doing here. There it goes, back pedal buzz able to
avoid that one. Slide in, Timotino shot down immediately,
immediately with that AWP, able to find him a bang, gives him a buzz, gives him a shot back,
give him the fight. This race is going to be committed,
bang now, going to be taken down, Timotino once again, put six feet under.
Grabbing that phantom an easy saying locked within that smoke, but
Meteor saying a lot and, but suddenly he's the last one alive.
The final tap is looking for an axe.
The Red Bull clutch has Meteor against T1 up 6 to 5.
There he is. The extinction level event shows up once again.
Oh my I cannot believe he gets this I cannot believe he gets these last two
yeah chance of the 6k he did he did oh boy crazy he's even on his feet that is
not common and yeah that's a frustrating one for the hundred thieves
coaching staff goodness meteor has the tour to force here let's play behind it
People say that it's an ace because he killed Timothy and applies what countenance
Speed of which it's gonna be trade on the neon see the start of the lap meanwhile cry out into the fight stacks and accepting on an entry from connector side
Sees on the nothing the wall segment that we broke it down cry on out the decent enough line but fires off a little bit too quickly easy
But as it increased board saves his life
Maybe gonna need more miracles, but it's a 3v3.
Don't wear that offset.
Oh, they both went.
The stalemate between them.
Meteor now flush against this Cove.
The push from Bang.
He could have two of them dead here.
Oh, it's easy to the box.
the final shot as it spoke this fall, Hunchkin has the angle, cryo!
Still yet in with a chance but running out just now, the classic remaining gets the take,
we need you!
Gets the head shot with Vandal!
7-5, T1 massively rescued this half.
Six in a row is unbelievable.
An insane win streak for them, let's see if Hanyu's BHK wants to get behind their footie
at the start, we'll come back to the second half.

this has to be like such an

experience, but I'm wondering
what is it like for you coming over here to Shanghai?
You mentioned your first time in Asia.
Yeah, it is. It is super great.
I love the food. I love the people.
It is a bit of a culture shock, I would say,
but I'm super excited and having a lot of fun.
And definitely tell you have anything on your, you know,
your list that you want to check off for Shanghai?
Ooh, I don't know.
I haven't had time to check around and do a lot of stuff.
I'm mostly relying on my teammates, Peter, you know,
he travels a lot.
So I'm kind of relying on him to take me places.
We got to wait for Peter's list then.
We've got a way to risk recommendations.
We are back and it's time to go to the second half of Summit T1.
It's six rounds in a row to make it seven to five at the half, but it was shocker here
for a hundred thieves who were looking like they were going to run away with this.
Yeah, no doubt.
I mean, it just took that that one time out for T1 to kind of just get squared away and
then they were able to really run a lot of rounds together.
So even with hundred thieves throwing a timeout into the mix there, they couldn't recover.
And the thing is though, if you're looking at this from a hundred these perspective, like
Basically, they're almost mere comps and again, I like the harbor a little bit better here
I think you're gonna have a better opportunity
To get your executes to go because of that high tide in particular
So I think T1 should in theory face similar struggles
But they're already showing a little bit of a different early round formation meteor just deleted by Ossida
They knew he was gonna try to peak that angle great kill try to start this off
That leaves stacks now to lean back into mid a bit
We'll just be a shot at the door.
He's still sticking around more towards that B side of the map.
They seem to be really convinced that that's where it's going to be.
It's tough when you lose a player that early, especially your sentinel.
So that means that early warning system on the other side, not there,
but it's connected with the bandit.
They might have gotten this correct.
Stacks scaling forward
The Sun's a backpedal any contact that paranoid can fly and allow for munchkin trying to pick him apart
They're looking for the timing. It's just that classic in hand though. There's the spot out
well
To be said the paranoia is still pocketed in here by stacks
And they think that this is maybe gonna be a pivot off of this they started to lean back in a
Also been broken down and close for the moment isolated in alone on the site
They're not going to be connecting on anyone.
Try to get some damage.
You cannot get that kill.
Timotino able to find stacks.
He's just getting these wallbang taps on the munchkin.
One enemy remaining.
Elimination finally coming through an easy.
Now to try to pick up any pieces that he could possibly find.
At this point, you're just going to be playing for any kind of ult charge you could maybe get.
Under thieves are looking for a flawless pistol win.
And as the smoke falls, they shall get it.
Both pistols on the summit go their way.
This is just a really uncomfortable round for T1.
Again, in the pistols, losing a lot of these contact fight
Tundra thieves look really crisp in these scenarios.
It's awesome to take it down meteor early, finding another.
One enemy.
Just really awesome.
Nice!
You know, Buzz had a chance for him in an isolated fight, but he just couldn't hit his shots.
He doesn't look like he's really fully locked in in the mechanics department.
So, no buy-up.
Obviously, you still have Meteor in the chamber, but...
...in that, you do claim an orb at the very least here for Munchkin.
Munchkin making all of the noise in the world until the playbuzz ends.
Summoner, he damaged Cryo.
Just get that H.E.O. through.
Let's see if they're ready.
Oh, Meteor, he's going to be swinging from the other side.
Tries to go for the flick.
Doesn't manage to make it happen.
Now the re-crib four for 100 thieves
who still want to try to hit this B site.
Munchkin, I thought I was going to keep
slotting forward, which would have absolutely been his demise.
Should be able to clear this corner with a prowler.
Holding it for now.
It's really both.
The invested there's the problem. There's a shot from Fio.
Snacks only gonna be good for one Fio with three.
Yet again, make this a very clean anti-eco.
You know, with a chance to maybe get some damage through, but...
See if they really even try to give him an easy target.
I'm not sure where his approach is gonna be from, but they've got all angles covered.
Spike planted.
He'd be lucky to get one, it almost feels like.
Oh, sees a leg.
Oh, well, the chicken's up.
There he goes, like you said.
What a little lucky to get one.
Since then, all the key weaponry going to be carried over to Bulldogs
with Spectre and a Phantom.
There's 100 thieves tied up, 7-7.
And again, they're going to be in a good position
to get through with another bonus.
to make it that much more difficult here, nasty shooting.
Friar, great work.
He has been so impactful for this squad at times.
Couple of their runs for trophies.
Well, now the quick tech balls down to the stanchasy.
Settings check, make sure that all is well.
And then we can resume.
You and I are used to this with T1.
Well, it does seem like it's on the 100th deep side of the stage.
Oh, okay.
They're just there, it's their presence.
That is true.
They do have a bit of a history with that, but let's see.
I mean, 100th deep, similar start to what we were witnessing from them on that defender's side.
They took a run away with this, T1 could very much, you'd still have this perhaps slip from their grasp.
That's, you know, Herculean effort they put into being able to get into an advanced position at the half.
Yes.
This needs to be a very strong anti-brownist from them, otherwise they're going to be in the same spot,
half the threat to you in that fourth round of the half, and I'm not sure if that's going to be replicable.
So it looks like we are ready to get back into it though.
And again, you're going to see an outlaw here for Cryo, and there are a couple of players who are one body shot to it.
Zou and Munch can both endanger against that weapon.
So I really like the way Hundred Thieves
is thinking about the economy, thinking
about how they're putting together these bonus rounds.
You know, this has to be clean for T1.
You just can't afford to give over two bonuses
and really have a great hope of winning a map.
Oh, buzz.
I mean, it's a good ball.
Somebody stop the open, let the team behind him.
We'll be able to mow them down.
It's again just the lone casualty
putting his body on the line as trial.
Just going to try to grab this orb and lunch again,
click a little peekaboo, with the blind on top,
3K from him.
And that is the exact type of anti-bonus
he wanted me to find.
So yeah, sometimes just keep it simple.
Again, just have that angle detonated.
That three players watching this home.
That was pretty nasty for stacks.
Nice little micro adjustment there.
The Phantom's working a treat for T1.
And again, it was crucial that they got that clean leak.
And they do.
Can I do a little neon dance there?
Appreciate that.
A little bit of a early push out here for Munchkin.
As the Reds online now.
And he's going to continue to scale.
This is risky as all hell.
probably to push expecting that swing off of it.
So they'll get a slow or about it.
Meanwhile, meteor anticipating this,
but oh, backs away from the fight.
Like Timotino absolutely would have won that one at the end.
Yeah, they got both Lord's out of buzz.
And that's actually pretty impactful for Timotino.
Opens up a little bit more for him to do as the neon
that potentially they're going to leave the wall behind
at the main door.
Try to find a different angle in.
Well there goes the res.
Great shot from Cryo, Izu now.
A double take in the worst possible time.
All the more pressure on Meteor to try to hold this angle.
Stacks in the walkup.
It's the catch on the cryo, but Meteor, I mean,
still just out of the opening, just gets run down.
Now suddenly a 2B4 has had the teams looking high once again.
Now the expiring was trying to choose the way to end,
but there's just too many targets on the other side.
A risky play that was absolutely punished,
and there's not much more for Staxidio
other than to try to tuck away and save.
That's planted.
I mean, the 100 Thieves players,
really sharp, really anticipating
that T1 is going to be very proactive,
looking to try to find their advantages.
That quick shot from Cryo,
Just devastating, not so much out of the round.
Just like even the night takes one and leaves.
Then from there, you know,
Yuzu does a little bit of a double take there.
That's kind of one of those moments
where the players walk forward a second earlier
and a second later, Stax.
He is still at risk here.
Bang, getting that weapon out just in time,
and Stax a little later on that trigger pull.
Bang gets himself a three piece in the round
tied up 8 to 8 and nothing is carried forward by T1.
Just got even worse there.
Just looks like right down 100 thieves.
Really dialed in, 1 to 4 is already.
And he can't get any of the timings here for T1, just
really awkward on when they're making contact with 100 thieves.
So I think I want to see them just be, frankly,
a little more patient, a little bit more holding the line,
waiting for 100 thieves to commit to something
before they start going for these lurks,
because 100 thieves is really bleeding
a lot of time off the clock.
I think that's something that
Pacific teams have a tough time with.
We've already seen it this event,
where if you just run the clock down.
Oh, Meteor trying to find anything that he can get,
but Temetino just dancing around those bullets.
Meanwhile, Cryo now sliding forward.
He's got the shot toward a four,
swinging out, and Meteor obliterated.
Slide in, just trying to close the gap
to utilize this bucky,
I'm from that distance it's not gonna do a damn thing
It's going for bad to worse for a fine's munchkin as well
able to dodge the tour to force shot by
To be five with
What they're going to be facing you wouldn't expect that?
T1 is gonna be able to do much more, but
We'll see I mean at this point you can't even do economic damage
They have so much money behind this
Cryo could just cycle this toward a force get an actual operator online
It's gonna be 100 thieves taking this round nine to eight. There's no guns. Just scoop up even so you can't try to
Min max your economy a little bit more as t1
Snacks already is his all no reason to die
But
Well, they're reading this.
Double take, still gonna be good for him.
He gets to spread out on the easy as well.
A flawless here.
Time to Thieves once again establishing a lead.
Team 1 about to be cycled back into a buy.
Starting to look very shaky for them.
Curious.
When does that second time out keep you used?
This wouldn't be a bad time for one, I think,
I think because there's two huge ultimates sitting in on these men
talking, the night ball and the reckoning.
They have a ton of ability to clear a site.
It's got to be talking about how you're
going to have your setups for this next round
to try to dodge those.
But don't let it tick.
Meteor with the operator.
Watch on the other side of the map.
Trying to look and see if anybody's
cheating forward on that angle.
But he's well and truly back.
It's like Munchkin getting called over to have that safety position a little bit faster
to get absolutely slow down this hit, but it's just now about to arrive on the scene.
Meanwhile, Stats is quick turn back from Timotino to find that one.
They punish coming through, but he's going to be lit up here, sided, caught by the haunt.
And it's like an easy breezy take into the pen here.
400 thieves.
Just a way to get those reses through.
Oh my god.
Cryo getting off of the line, the shot ends up going wide,
Vora going to be spotted, some information going to be gained.
In fact, how do you get caught by that perhaps?
See when I would have a way back in,
but he said it is still going to be there.
Every troublesome for them.
Cryo finding much can buzz, swinging to his death,
and Meteor cannot catch a break there.
Double digits now hit for 100 thieves.
Up by two and T1.
Woundering on the map.
Yeah, and this is a devastating round of lose.
Stacks try to TP ahead of the nightfall there.
That's why he gets caught.
Good awareness by Timotino.
Take him down.
There's only one player removed from the 100th each side.
That's why I would have liked to have seen this time
on round earlier.
Talk about how to handle those ultimates instead.
You fork over a ton of your economy
and you're put on the back foot.
You're going to have to dig deep again here as KDG in this Coinbase win condition.
How well do the Coinbase win condition? I think it was a get another thrifty.
Yep.
That started the win streak that they had.
But again, is that replicable? Probably not.
That's not something you can rely on. That is for sure.
It just doesn't feel comfortable for T1. It doesn't feel like they're
really well situated on this defender's side on this map just yet.
No, not at all, I mean, it's not quite been every round that Buzz has died in, but it's
basically pinned because he's got 18 deaths in the res.
That's true, he died a couple times to reses.
He hasn't really been able to get accubated at all.
No.
No.
All the shoulders of Munchkin and Meteor, easy on occasion, then be able to get these round
wins in the half.
It's also pretty surprising you know buzz has generally been a pretty decent neon in recent history. So yeah, just hasn't
Really been able to connect that some of those moments like sinking to the pistol round here in the second half
Where he just was with he is all hell
Pretty shocking
Calibur a player on T1, you know, it's not like a stage like this should really bottom of buzz has literally been every champions
This is grabbing Orbs in an eye.
They are pivoting in that direction trying to make a hard read but they know he's here.
jump peeking. May have just been spotable, still set on the haunt, and on that swing
the shot. Splits the difference between the two players. He'll not yet found.
Just another headhunter bullet coming through me all four out. Gotta be careful, that is
spiking hands, gonna try to tuck back and surround that corner just about. Plenty of covering fire
here from his teammates and they will be able to keep him alive. Look at how
patient they are though. They're just waiting for these moments when T1 is
going to try to strike. Now wall's about to fall so have to start swinging back
into B to watch these angles now. Munchkin no more slow orbs is trying to delay.
He shouldn't be peeking this. 30 seconds left.
Stacks to be found, cryo, wallbang shot, timitino able to find plus, swing in and munchkin just
cannot connect at all.
And there she's getting picked apart, no thrifty this time around.
Yeah, this is pretty done, zoe.
much so very clean again here for a hundred thieves and another flawless I
mean how many is it been on this map three four something like that three
rounds now in a row T1 sent out another buy but
How much is this going to go into this without any armor?
It could be glass, cannon, double sage.
Yes, we can make sure he gets the opt-a meteor.
I'm going to be feeling like that's the more important piece of the puzzle.
So meteor, going to be trusted with the economy here at 4T1
to do some damage to turn their tides.
Right now, 100 thieves have won it just about every twist and turn.
He's got no one to clear that for him.
Just force him off the angle.
Reposition immediately slots forward,
but what are you going to do here?
If they just counter boost on the wall,
as best you're killing one, maybe a collat.
It's exactly what I'm thinking.
I don't like this position at all for Meteor.
Don't have a Ronnie move for another five seconds.
That's just it.
Need that set up.
Okay, now he's moving back.
Set up the utile. Now he can actually try to play forward, but 100 thieves now.
They've evacuated the area, and Buzz is just dead as Cryo.
Try pushes a corner with an up and a hand.
And it seems like T1's still fairly convinced, because they just found the lurker,
that this is going to be an A hit, so the Rexx is not going to be in position.
try to spot them out. With nothing being seen, they're still convinced it's A.
Here comes the bad news. She's lobbed in from Ezio, will delay Timitino, but he can stop
Astell. If he's in on top of him, there's a side through. Ezio goes meant to take one down with him.
That's a player advantage. The corp's being launched here.
Timitino just tucked to the corner, stacks desperately, trying to flush him out of the spot in the air site.
He just hops across.
You know, Clio, pulls down a flight through.
Munchkin's dead.
Sack's just gone.
And what was looking like, he contested first half.
The massive win streak, but he won.
They have not found their footing.
They have not found a damn thing from this defender's side.
No, and I don't even know if they're going to get away with this off.
Oh, just barely around the corner is Meteor,
but they're surrounding him.
to be on the biggest stage of the year and of all time in the VCT to put up performances
like this from Buzz.
That is absolutely illegal.
He needs to be locked in.
He needs to find value and he needs to be the one being the driving force in this next
round of T1.
Look for four in a row because they don't have money and he has an overdrive.
Yeah, absolutely.
And it's just not the right angle to be holding there.
Maybe you're not assuming that it's going to be the off doing that, but it doesn't matter.
You don't want to hold an angle where the paper is going to have an advantage.
Just feels like 100 thieves know this map just a little bit better.
Just know the angles a little bit better. Understand when they can kind of make their moves, find their moments.
Their mechanics are just way sharper too. Just period end of story.
Again, just feeding orbs into the nether.
Stopping opponents from getting him, but there's not really even been a change up here.
I mean, Meteor's just playing the same spot that he has done. All came long.
And they can just, again, just wait. You gotta wait for T1 to get impatient.
I don't know if he want to widen up the spot. I mean, okay, Meteor will be able to get dialed in for the shot.
Clean one of that, but Munchkin offering himself up and cry out.
How does that kill?
Prowler to check around, A main, nothing going to be spotted on the thieves.
The master forces in this very position.
You see a little bit deeper with the Prowler, push that time.
Get some information, and Buzz is going to be pulling back out of connector,
joining in alongside shoulder to shoulder with EZU.
This could be your overdrive out of the equation.
He's going to punch!
What are you doing?
30 seconds left.
Oh, something's got them prezzled.
T1 did not have their heads on straight at the moment.
100 thieves.
Look at this match them now.
Spike planted a damage.
advantage with a 4v1.
Nidia would have to pull out another ace.
His second of the map.
They're trying to make a goal of this one.
And he spammed it down to 10.
No hope in hell.
Timutino should be his demise.
13-8!
100 thieves!
Showing up looking damn improved here on Summon.
Oh, no doubt about it.
This 100th team was really clean up that second half.
And now we get ready to go to their map pick up a set and oh boy T1
I think you and your fans should absolutely be worried
The
city of war becomes the city of
They plunder, they plulfur, and they persevere in Paris!
You win this and burn these books!
Welcome to Paris!
What did you learn from your final loss on the Summit to dominate on the same comp today?
I think today we started off strong and they kind of had a really good adaptation with
the Sage but on attack honestly I just played nice and slow and then my superstars take
over my chamber, you know, Cryo, Tim, they're all feeling it and I think they honestly felt
a lot of pressure, and yeah, just close it out nice and simple, even though it kind of
was a shaky start for us, warming up into the games, but I'm happy we took down that one.
I
I
And yes, a hundred thieves now. Congratulations on that first map.
You have two players who are very new to the Champ stage
and very new to Shanghai here as well.
So how did you ensure that they were ready for this stage
and that their nerves wouldn't take over?
Honestly, our rookies like Tim and Wara,
they're very mature people for their age
and Champs or EWC or Statue doesn't really matter.
They just enjoy their time here.
They love the crowd, they love the energy, and so far, we are lucky that nerves are not an issue.
And hopefully we can keep it up just one game at a time.
Loving the energy, good luck.
Well, it looks like Hunter Thieves fixed a lot of things coming into this tournament,
but most notably we have Asin on the stage, Munchkin on the stage, paired with a chamber, Mel.
We were talking a bit about this at the start of this match, but what do you make of it now that we've seen how it plays out?
I think that 100 Thieves decision to put us on the stage is a really good use in terms of leveraging his flexibility and it actually opens up cry to play more of that chamber because you get more of the coverage when you're hitting the bomb sites with the sage wall.
It's kind of like a second controller sometimes you hear me say it a lot, but I really do mean it on a map like summit.
The slows are worth its weight in gold for the floods.
And I want to point out specifically what 100 Thieves does so well around the Sage, is their UTIL layering for the floods.
And that's why you see partially why both teams had a good rounds, a good streak of rounds on the attack.
Yeah, and when we got to the attack, I think that 100 Thieves ran into this situation where T1 realized they don't want to play retake versus that Sage.
They start playing super far forward in mains.
Drink is an idea you can play against on Thieves, but they went way too far.
You want to entice that Sage come to clear into you, not just keep sprinting down at them.
And then when 100D started running these egg stacks,
a little bit of a disconnect between the anchors on the site.
I think the only two ways really to beat the Sage Comp
are beat that Sage Comp in the mains
before they get inside or anchor on that site and stay alive.
There's so many nooks and crannies.
You can throw site smokes to stay alive
and buy time for the rotates to come in,
but T1 were not able to do that.
And that's why 100D's only lost the bonus there
in the second half.
Yeah, really impressive there for them
to end up closing it out.
But we had some really stellar moments
also come out from T1.
So let's take a look at our HyperX Reflex moment
of the match from Meteor and the Stace.
Yeah, I mean, this was a nice clip there.
And it was right towards the end of the six rounds of Winstreek
for T1 in the end.
I know, it's so good.
And then wait until he gets down into this clutch.
It's a 1v2, 16 health, one hole left in that operator
after switching off from the side arm so crisp.
Dude, Meteor, I love seeing this changer face off
between Meteor and Cryo because Cryo on the other side was also having a heater and this
current meta where it really allows the Chamber players to shine when you have players in
that second variable that can play that stage, that can really back you up and open up the
late round clutches for their Chambers.
Now, you know, I think this is what we wanted to see.
You asked for this.
You wanted to see Meteor on the Chamber.
It almost paid off, especially in the earlier rounds.
I mean, I think in the first half, he was absolutely on top of the world and I think
in the second half, just the way that T1 were playing in 100 Thieves was a pretty unfortunate mismatch for them.
Although, I will say I was happy in the first half with the calling from T1's side.
I think that after they warmed up to this new comp from 100 Thieves,
I think they anti-strated versus the Cypher and had to learn against that a little bit.
I think they ran very good repeated execs into the map.
And I think they had a few different ways of getting here, of hitting into the weak side.
They kept opening up strong into mains early on in the half to embed the Sage, then go back, work mid for a Recler, and eventually hit back into the Sage side.
But they didn't just get bogged down and running that same look over and over again. They also showed that same utility in mains, freeze, then hit into the site, the same timings they would be working back into mid previously.
And that really kept underneath on their toes.
he's going to be able to
get into the next round.
So you're just seeing
Munchkins tempo and pacing
swap ups that he called so
well around that chamber off
and in combination with. They
have to worry about where the
attack off is that all times
every corner that hundreds of
these jiggling. There's round
as it gets picked by by
meteor and then in the next
round after you play so slowly
on the off, you're just doing
a really good execute falling
through that stage and on top
of that Munchkin himself had a
really, really good map. So the
attack side. I feel like we're
Do you have a scent on the horizon? Let's see what coach KDG from T1 has to say ahead of map 2.
Mika and Gen. Lee here with coach KDG of T1. Coach KDG, we finally get to see T1's summit here on the champ stage.
I'm wondering what was the expectation in picking it against 100 teams?
We prepared for the Champions League and got a match against the Summit.
We were confident about the Summit.
We thought we had to prepare well.
But we had to do a two-point win-thru against the 100T.
We couldn't get a win-thru in the history of the game.
So it didn't seem to be a good match.
I think as we were perfect for champions,
we were very confident with our summit which reached our comp.
And we thought it was going to work well.
But I think when it comes to today's match and how it played out,
We lost both pistols and on defense there are problems that we couldn't quickly resolve in the server
So we didn't really get to show how strong it was. Well, hopefully those problems will be resolved in map 2
Good luck to the team and hopefully T1 can make a comeback
Well, it sounds like that T1 is definitely not gonna be getting rid of her summit
We might see it again later this tournament, but with the ascent coming up next
We do know how good Hunter Thieves is on this map
I think another big question of my mind here is after seeing 100 thieves pivot from Cypher into
chamber on the first map on Summit, they've kind of clued in a couple times in the America playoff
this pivot and notoriously they actually been playing Cypher the entire stage to playoffs and so
my question is are they going to pivot here? Are they going to put Caryl onto that chamber again
and have Asuna either on the Sage or the Phoenix or the Yoru? That's my big question at the top of
my mind and I think no matter where they go, they look incredibly prepped.
I'm seeing Timotino is really feeling it and getting into his own here on his
very first best of three on the international stage.
It's so fun to watch.
He absolutely is.
As you get ready for agents like looks like hundred thieves are going to be
running it back typical style for them.
And what I found striking was during the break, the Chinese host will go out
on the stage and hype up the crowd, ask the fans who they're supporting down
on the stage hundred thieves back in America's in South follow had no support
behind them versus loud but the Chinese fans were so loud 400 thieves just a
moment ago they have won over the hearts here phenomenal map one and now
looking to make it to always appease yeah it could full well be because I'm
seeing something a little bit unusual coming from T1 but maybe I'll send that
to the cast here as a Megan have a chat about much get back on the stage
killios paper thin it's all yours yeah back on the stage here on a set we'll
See if this, you know, minor pivot ends up working anything for T1.
Obviously no strangers to this map in their own right, but 100 thieves.
I mean, you get Austin off the back on a Phoenix.
That shouldn't stand a fear into your heart.
Oh yeah, this only gets more difficult for T1, frankly, in these next two maps.
So I'm very curious about this comp change as well.
Meteor on the chamber, not on the Oru.
Buzz on the neon, or excuse me, Meteor, not on the jet.
Buzz on the neon here.
So they're not going with that jet Yoru combo, no vice.
So some big changes for T1, stylistically,
on a set to try to fix what turned out
to be some pretty big problems they
had in particular against global eSports on this map.
But you just can't be super comfortable with how
that summit went.
I mean, Cryo in particular, 6-0 on first kills
of that map, he was absolutely frying on the chamber.
But he goes over to the cipher, another agent
that he is really a backflot.
He has some really good clutches,
some really good ideas on how to use that util
against his opponents.
He'll play a little kill trippy.
We'll just have to wait and see.
T1 will start on the defender's side
and feel like they got to get themselves squared away.
It would be huge if they could get a pistol win,
just to find some kind of confidence, some kind of momentum.
But they were anemic in the Pistols-on Summit,
to say the least.
Look at that mid-fight, but under thieves now drifting into position actually take it
Shot through buzz. It's gonna be tagged up through the arch there
It's gonna be a big rewrap from 100 thieves, but do you want to matching it?
I think for T1 here that the name of the game is just try to disguise this as much as you can
Not gonna be super surprising to see a little bit of sova utile there walk forward though from meteor
Looking for the jump across.
Meal Fuzz going on in, sir.
Will be able to find a kill.
And Ezu gets a second.
Spike down, B.
Playing off some of that damage.
Gets the assist.
Meanwhile, though, slow creep up into market.
Meteor there behind the wall.
Not going to be at risk quite yet.
Stacks watching for this angle.
Trying to keep that chamber covered.
Swings in down.
Cryo.
Quick to sit him down.
Still with the hot hands.
Ezu just tucked inside of the smoke for now.
the paranoia expiring. Molly, but he's already backpedaled.
The silent drop back into the sides playing in the corner.
Boss on the swing, looking for the check, the double face.
It's going to be easy to find that first ax gets the other bang
now dead to all the shoulders of cryo paranoia right at him.
Much get unable to collect it, but we'll be easy.
Rekade balling up that sheriff T1 will get the first pistol of the series.
Still felt a little uncomfortable, but able to hold the line there.
Really nice work by easy obscuring his sound dodging some of that you till from the side of hundred thieves.
There's a great round for him three kills, but it's more his positioning and the way that he is conscious of the way that he's making noise.
He won. Hold the line cry again. So crafty, so smart.
Snappy is all hell with his aim. He's he's feeling it today
Avoiding the catastrophe giving over that pistol to the attacker side off the rib on a set
Certainly be a depth sentence for T1 meteor. Oh looking for a quick scope, but still in motions. Sean ends up going wide
Little off on the timing and testing your PRT one want to deny the Phoenix as much as they can
There's the chop out back to fall space going to be given over and the thieves not going
to feel comfortable at all trying to rescale into that position.
Or the wall go up to know that much can just going to be sitting on top of that one.
So they're going to try their hands at this B site again.
They've got the lurk forward cryo still contained back in the main but to metino with a nice
little walk up.
I don't think they have any idea that Tumatino is there.
Otherwise, but now you know.
Shots that out.
Might have actually connected on that.
It's not that early.
Stuffed damage pry here.
The little peek in, hit by her headshot from Meteor.
Get some of the enemy jet.
Spike still plans it though.
Molly going to be seven.
The paranoia is absolutely gorgeous from stacks at twice.
Molly's already done it himself from the previous map.
5-1-1 that appears to come in and that's going to be a flawless anti-eco of their own.
I had some concerns here.
4-T-1 with the way that 100Ps was able to maneuver themselves around the map.
They got themselves into a pretty good position, able to get onto the B site with an eco that's scary,
but beautiful, beautiful paranoia.
Getting two players, the T buzz up, Meteor trying to hype the troops stacks as well.
wants to get them fired back up get them back into this series coming through
with a couple of those specters bulldog Vandal Marshall and full half-armors
here for T1 but still gonna be meteor just with that Marshall that maybe he
would go for the outlaw investment
perhaps a slight misread by maybe doesn't mean headhunter is just as good
team a team of dead since T1 very nicely as they look for a bonus conversion
their own to start the map that is mad is it
unbelievably impactful kill and they have to send the drone up and over the
top of benches to make sure that he's evacuated this position it's a lot harder
to tee up some of the flashing dash stuff that you would want to do with the
phoenix so Austin a lot of weight on his shoulders try to clear some space
Everybody's tucked in for T1. They're waiting to south. Well, you say that
Meteor giving them a little bit of a freebie there easy now
potentially at risk
Up sway all the way in the back of boats a paranoia sent flying
Molly not quite deep enough to find a music for timing swing on awesome
I can't quite clean it up to damage to be suffered buzz now
Really rushing forward is only gonna be able to find the one now suddenly a 2v3
Under Thieves looking good to give themselves this round of win, but still he can't be quite costly for them if T1 can find some more eliminations.
Still gonna have a paranoia as well.
Well, going to be tough.
I have a lot to clear.
Holding it for now.
Checking the main.
Nothing spotted.
I'm feeling a little bit more comfortable
that everyone is playing in the side.
But Munchkin gets a little ahead of the curve there,
ends up on the wayside, and 100 thieves
spare their plushies to keep three alive.
And now they're going to have a run it back
as they look to tie it up two to two.
Yeah, I mean, it's a good opening shot for Meteor,
but then just getting a little impatient.
This is one of the things that is really killing T1 here today.
100 thieves is happy to wait these round timers out.
And you're going to have to find ways to match that patience.
You can try to take a little bit of space early,
but try to take some main control.
But if you give up those mains, especially B main,
you've got to be a little bit more cautious,
because you really put Izu on an island there,
where they can use their Util a lot more
cleanly and comfortably to clean him out in that back area.
Meteor going to have that operator that's why he doesn't want to invest in that outlaw wants to get this online as quick as possible
He's expecting a potential push up that cage, but
Cryon just trying to keep attention tied
Notation again though the call from T1 looking good is that you give people in position towards a
For a potential shutdown
Just going to have to throw the slaw up at the door, timely paranoia, could shut this down.
Dart just kind of further reinforces your ideas.
All now going to be sent.
Keep timings being found for T1.
50 seconds remaining, 100 thieves could still go for a pivot, but I think this is going
to be a pop of the wall to run it back, send from Asuna.
They open it up for him, he turns back, he's immediately able to find Puzzle.
What a shot from him.
Looks a little bit more of a munchkin able to do than I.
He can snap back, and for now they have been contained at the door.
And look at the cryo here.
Flirting with that trip, waiting for his moment.
He's running away in the mid, easy.
Does he try to go for anything here?
Looks like no, he's gonna backpedal away.
They have to get over to Meteor to try to bail him out.
Full flash connecting, he's able to repeat it, catches the glimpse and that's going to be four out down.
Rane Vubic, Kenny actually buying up time, it's 10 seconds that we're meeting.
The switch has been hit.
He's watching for this approach from Main.
It's a TP forward, up towards Mark, hitting the wall through the middle of the spot.
No! Here! He gets it out of the edge! That's the round!
Come on Whip into an unbelievable shot off the side arm meteor.
Oh he bailed some out.
Not much more damage we found from there but they'll take the round win.
That is incredible patience.
I just never checked by 100 thieves.
So he's able to get away with that.
that. He lose the operator, but the round much more important in the grand scheme of things.
Great control of the map though by T1 Meteor holding that B main for a long time. He's
one away from having that tour de force, but classic tiles crunch attempt and him a Tino
out from mid. Shut down boys. Great response and a great anticipation of this from 100
I wonder if there was a gap there.
Saks trying to escape and this one looking over,
Cooke from T1 under Thieves in every right position
to find these punishers and now they give themselves a 5v3.
Yeah.
Munchkin's gonna have to go crazy.
It's impatient though.
I know exactly where.
Munchkin wanting to cheat forward off of that,
But that falls away, falls down to 11 HP.
The wallbang is just enough time to try to escape.
It's the heal through as well.
Clear the recon.
He sends the able to find two.
Meteor with two of his own.
And suddenly, it's just bang all by himself.
What a bailout.
I have the spike.
Nothing on the wiser of their position,
but can try to get situated at the end of the post plant.
30 seconds left.
Here the commit
No, you told to work with four seconds yet until
That smoke does come up nothing off the recon
Can you find the clutch easy trying to get onto the angle?
It's just gonna be me you try swinging in instantly find the headshot
And what a steady of the round for T1 that was looking hundred thieves from the outset. Oh, I'm right there with you
This is just beautiful work by Munchkin to find two meteors helping got a nice crossfire set up there
80 that is a beautiful round from Munchkin they almost had him dead when he was putting the wall up
He just had enough time to get out
Heroics for T1
See if they could keep it up. There's that tour to force you're just talking about for meteor the timer stop
up. Maybe a timeout call for the side of 100 thieves.
I think so.
I do like a lot of what we're seeing from 100 thieves here.
And I think they're making some pretty good reads.
Probably the Coinbase win condition for me is just
steadying a little bit of the individual moments,
being a little bit more coordinated,
Just checking a few more angles, crossing your T's,
dotting your eyes.
It's that alley position that's really killed them
when they're trying to cut in towards B site.
They've been widely going to the wide side of it, not
the near side.
And you saw Meteor cost them around
by hiding in that spot.
This time Munchkin just finds two by staying on that ledge
and spraying down as they come through the door
to the check-in.
It's probably just some little things to be frank
that you're really trying to make sure that Under Thieves is well aware of.
Because again, they're ready for that tiles crunch.
They get the first couple of kills.
5v3, you think, all right.
This should be ours.
We should be able to get two on the board.
Yeah, it's not been anything too catastrophic, nothing that can't be fixed with, you know,
the VCR 400 Thieves.
You want to find some steady dance, obviously, starting off as an attacker
outside of the map.
Need to get as much as you possibly can.
is a meteor considering to peek and it will be a one for one.
A good punish from Asuna.
Still, it's that jet that you're finding early in a lot
of these rounds for T1.
And that really does make these executes so much more
difficult, especially against a sage.
So in a prior round, that could have just been a one and done.
At least, shirring up, they do have coverage.
The players are playing together.
They're going to go for this push.
towards a check over now that meteors gone.
They don't really have much to try to watch in the mid.
I mean, you're just trying to bleed a little bit more time
off the clock and trying to get the read here with that smoke.
T1 is currently not making the correct one.
There's no more chamber U till at that front entrance,
so it's not like you're going to have any early warning system.
You do have the over drive, so you're careful now.
It's walking its way down on the cat,
and they're going to find this completely emptied.
All the chamber utile mitigated.
It's a TP4 top of Chen.
They wanted to get eyes above, but now it's going to have to be...
T1 playing for the retake in one timing, down for Cryo!
Right as Munchkin decided to try to pivot over the window.
My eyes are down.
Camel with a spot buzz.
The one that tried to flush him out of his position, smoked out, going to be blooming on the door.
door and they're not checking for him.
Cryo is absolutely sucked to net.
What a play from him.
Easy now to try to do it all.
1v2 and Hilo set up for him
but he can't quite find those headshots
to try to get the collab in and 100 Thieves.
The timeout works, it still gets close
but they find their second round.
I mean Cryo, absolutely.
The MVP so far today for 100 Thieves.
This is a brilliant lurk round from him.
Just being all so patient.
Waiting for that spam to try to clue the door.
And then he just instantly punishes Munchkin, then tucks in behind that smoke.
So able to turn the tables a bit in some of those hidden positions that they're not expecting.
And now look at the buy.
Yeah, it's an eco.
This is one. I mean, Munchkin's 40 for a Vandal. I think this is where you want to go for an outlaw.
Can't it's half armor is widely 400 thieves
Flash to the corner
Just a double stack for now
There's hundred features funneling these orbs over it goes for four is one away from having the hundred theory online
So understandable that they all just pass it to us enough
Just trying to drum up some attention with the util there at B main
showing the shock dart a lot of times the sova is gonna be
Leading the way on this map with the util so
We're going to do a little bit of a
reclear in towards mid not going to see anything.
T1 is left that space open.
They're going to take a check themselves.
All they're going to see is the
sova in response.
Shift buzz away from cat.
He's trying to make up his mind.
He's got that Bucky in hand,
so needs to be able to barrel self.
Otherwise the overdrive is going to
have to come through again.
T1 getting the wrong read 100 thieves.
This slow, methodical patient play the
As T1 thinking that it's going to be the B site all day long, so they once again evacuate A.
Now this is going to have to be a 5v5 attempted retake where the enemy has a Hunter's Fury T1.
Making this way more difficult for themselves than they really need to.
Hunter Dives are playing them like a fiddle.
Yeah, they're just gambling incorrectly too many times.
Hunter Dives is too good for you to be getting away with that.
Aggro position here from Simitino.
He's got Asuna behind this and cry out.
Ready for that late insert.
Asuna gonna be taking a little bit out taken down.
Asuna have the utile to heal himself back up though.
Everything had been committed so this will be resting at 15 HP as
Huntersphere now going to be called into Simitino.
You're behind the one Munchkin on the arrival here at Kat.
Cleans up a second kill.
Let's get caught by that pulse.
Whoops, end of a demand.
Just can't quite tile it in.
And given the time gone, this is going to be the round.
Going the way of 100 thieves and Munchkin cannot escape so the weapon is not going to be carried over.
Very nicely piloted here by the NA org.
100 thieves themselves another round win.
Yeah they're really just starting to find that groove again of being extremely patient.
Waiting for T1 to make the mistakes and then they can capitalize.
Munchkin gets a little bit of revenge on a cryo but even though he doubles down,
It didn't really matter too much in the long run to metino there wise to that
Late moment that he knew someone would be going for trying to punish to grab a gun out of them
Now you're cheating on it
Teetering on that edge where a hundred thieves a couple more round wins and this is going to be a very successful attacker side for them
Hundred thieves just continuing to buy half-armors just feeling like look they're not going to buy outlaws
We might as well cheat on the economy as much as we can
I think he's going to move back to A. I agree. Tim, up-trap is good here, could be on the line.
I won't be able to give you the flash though Tim, because I need all of that.
Yeah, sure. How do we want to get this guy off the field?
I'm about to drop him.
Yeah, we just drone and then we go into the head.
Alright.
We can drone outside deep.
Wait, 10.
Droning, can we do this together?
Okay.
DONG.
Two smokes in 10.
Yeah, I'm gonna drone to America.
Okay.
Holding right now.
If you see each loa, I wanna go...
Uh, we're gonna wait about.
Ready?
Yeah.
If we get slowed, we're gonna smoke bottom edge.
Just drone.
He doesn't need to just walk.
It's fine.
Maybe I'll tell you not to let that tank.
Clearly, keep people close.
Yes, everyone danger.
Can we clear it together?
Yeah.
DONG.
Yo, I'm gonna break the wall.
I'm gonna break the wall.
Close.
Can we speed up?
I'm pretty sure there's that some support. Yeah, I'm a Molly him. Wait, don't play don't play guys. I'm Lailer play for me
I've done just like to market. Yeah, I've got our next
They start going out
I'm wondering market
I don't see him, I think he's spawned.
I think he's spawned.
Yeah, one one enemy remaining. We should kill him. Yeah, he's off. He's off.
Fuck it. I thought we're gonna find him. I'm gonna flash heaven as a chamber.
Light.
That's about as perfect of a round as you could possibly listen into from 100 thieves.
Checking every single box along that approach.
Spotted him to much, he's running the wall, he drops back.
Oh, no problem.
Clear danger.
Watch that cubby.
Yeah.
And they get the off out of the hands of Meteor as well.
He does a good effort to try to hold on to it,
but to no real avail.
And it looks like it should be enough to force a time out
from the T1 camp.
No, I mean, that is just phenomenal.
Phenomenal comms that we got to listen into there.
I am so thrilled with that because you hear them talking about where they want to use Molly
So they want to try to flush munchkin into cryo and he's like now we can just wait and we're just gonna hold it
No problem. They'll they'll get impatient. Okay. I bet he spawned. Let's do that. I mean that was so so good
But in this coin base win condition timeout for T1. I
Mean you got to find ways to match the patience again. They're
So good right now or under thieves about reading what T1 wants to do
They just got back into the groove and T1 can't find their comfort, can't find the pace.
You see Stax there rubbing his eyes trying to work this out.
A lot of pressure on this IGL has lifted a master's trophy, has been to many of these
champions and has not been able to convert along with everybody else on this stage.
And felt like a great start for them, felt like they had a good read on this map, but
Just a matter of time with 100 D's.
I mean even with just the callouts when they're clearing that corner together.
Yep.
Ding and dong.
I mean it's funny that that's what they default to but it just feels military-esque.
It is.
It's extremely well-drilled and the cleanness in the cops.
Oh, there goes Meteor.
Trying to just get it.
Here a pop of a headshot of that headhunter but cry out.
Now playing around is going to be setting up that near old theft.
They know that they are in such a good position to make this a dominant half-out.
After being thrifty before, they want to avoid that at all costs.
And this even with two players should it be too big of an issue for Cryo.
It takes Yeezoo to actually take them down, but damage is still going to be suffered.
Up and over dodging the shock dart is Timotino.
Dash at the ready, dashes the way forward into the side,
does end up getting blinded.
I'm just gonna smack it down.
Oh, for a second, I thought we would get it.
Instead, it is just gonna be Sacks off the loan.
Sheriff and Anna try to see what damage he can get.
But again, Hunter Thieves in such a good position.
As they delay, they make sure that they're
getting these orb cycled into Asa,
nearly with another ult ready to go.
They'll give him the plant, and then he can be the one to try to take down stacks.
Yep.
Well, Bang will do it first.
He's gonna lose his life.
He's gonna stop.
Still get the orb.
I mean, this is just a...
You won't be serious!
A machine, an engine, that is running at 100% efficiency right now.
100 thieves is just making no mistakes.
Winning some contact fights, meteor again, just going swinging.
And, uh, he is whippin'.
He's gonna get the plane drawn.
And everybody else just doing what they need to do.
It feels like a hundred thieves stampede right now.
A lot of ults though for T1.
This one's got to go.
And if it doesn't, that might just be Chi Chi.
Yep.
Run it back.
Got one charge away, Asuna.
Orbit is site here.
We'd love to try to just scoop that up.
With Meteor tucking back towards wine, this recon.
It's gonna force him to reposition.
Just make his exit.
Not even giving the opportunity to try to go with that timing shot.
Run it back down, gonna be popped, slow up.
Send through.
Metron there, alongside it, Nasdaq!
Still getting rewarded!
Hunter's theory gonna be sent for this bit here from EZ to try to find anything he possibly can't,
but it ends up coming away empty-handed.
Now you've got Timotino, the AWP, collected, but it will be Fora.
Gets rid of stacks.
Side opened up from cryo still in the flank buzz now immediately headshot
He's looking for more won't quite be rewarded with it. It's awesome to now on the prowl
those again getting the up out of their hands breaking the
Economic cycle once more is important. It won't be able to do so
But he still ensures that a hundred thieves get another round win on the attacker side. Oh, this is a absolutely gorgeous
execute. They know exactly what they want to do, even with that slow orb there.
They want to drone left, clear that space, allow Asuna to take that 1v1 at
heaven, and there's no, just spam, there's no fire from T1. I'd love to see them
with these Phantoms. If you're expecting that execute off the run it back, just
let loose with the bullets, just try to stop that run it back before it can even
get through the door. Even invest the hunters fury there. And Ivy, they're just so sharp.
They are. And as we come out of these replays, Muntkin looking like he doesn't know what
to do. That will show you why T1 is calling their final timeout. Just two rounds later.
A five-round win streak now built up for 100 thieves
Gg realizing that this is not working
No, and this has got to be your better side of the the equation on this map. I just has to be and they are
Fuddled
They have no answers. I thought maybe with this age in there. They could throw up some roadblocks
You know, they were getting some of the early kills on the timitino to
shut down one of the entries but Asuna has been fearsome once again I mean the
stats speak for themselves 12 and 5 and he is absolutely frying his usual
best Phoenix in the world period enough story story it's not even close I
think after that no maybe you'd give a shot that Chingam was back in the the
Even then the last couple outings on it were not particularly close to what Austin has been able to achieve.
Came out of that grand final. The MVP for a reason.
It's just been absolutely insane for them to cry out. No slouch either. Shoulder to shoulder alongside him.
Tiles crunch again. There's some kind of mid play. Waiting for contact.
Hoppy hop.
Cyber cage makes this way tougher for meteor.
Even the jail peak, risky business.
Looks like Timotino going to give up the angle.
Meteor will be left stagnant for now at bench.
100 thieves again get clustered for another a hit.
They're looking to see if there's any response off of that orb tap.
Oh, that drone. Hello.
Spots them both out.
Desperate shock, dark to try to just slow down a potential flood.
Under thieves more than happy to just pump the brakes to keep it slow.
But it's a tough read right now for 100.
These they see two over in tree.
You assume there's another heaven.
So they're kind of worried about making this a hit.
So this little show of force actually works out for T one.
If they continue kind of read this round correctly,
just depends on what hundred thieves does.
Just a double face in, quick exit in the backpedal for Meteor, trying to now get into position.
Still has that trademark to try to slow down the approach here at Tree.
Tiffatino though just gonna go dash and pass that, wants to try to get the collection here.
Oh, the chamber and it does!
Meteor cannot line it up!
Easy, however, tuck in and switch!
Gonna be good for Tiffatino looking for that third.
Asuna still gonna be standing tall, he's bangin' out of the smoke.
Dead to the zaps.
Asuna, just a backpedal away and hold onto the oppo.
Operator just like a dicey there for T1, but they do manage that tuck position of easy. It's great by with around win
Fight fire with fire. So cry out holding that spot earlier this time easter was gonna be able to get away with it
But it is still uncomfortable pretty good read here by 100 thieves
But a better response from T1 need here again
Not anticipating those opponents are gonna disrespect the slow from his trip
He's just not ready at all. You can see he's panicking to get scoped in and try to take
the shot at Timotino. They do hang on. They need this sixth round. Wow, big mid-push.
Need that. I'm leaving with the pistol. Yes.
And Toronto come out to try to get a spot here. He's now realizing that he's going to
be in a world of hurt. That trademark only going to be able to do so much. He quickly
He gets overwhelmed, buys now, dead as well.
Stacks on the flank approach,
Meteor trying to hold things down from D main.
The turn to his face.
Is that a headhunter in hand?
It's just a shoulder tap to cry out.
Munchkin locked off.
There's still a tripwire there.
100 thieves down, firm control.
As Tinnatino counter swings from that spawn side.
Stacks dead and this round done.
Oh, they were going to catch him with the Hunter's Fury there.
This is very done.
This is not going to be enough time, even if Munch can get something together.
He's trying to deny a counter swing, but the timer's just so heavily working against him.
Bang will even just TP to top of mid.
Get a crossfire setup.
No, no, it cancels it.
But it makes him think.
Either way, this round, this half, it's over 7 to 5 for 100 thieves.
They drop the pistol, starting on the attacker's side of his scent, and they still come out on top.
They are looking electric.
And D1 looking anemic. We'll see.
If they can wake up, if they can get themselves back into this game near the center of their half-time break.
The city of love becomes the city of these they plunder they pilfer and
they persevere in Paris
How do you feel about coming back to Shanghai, the place where you first lifted a Pacific Trophy, or a Trophy rather for Pacific?
First of all, I'm glad that I heard about the first Pacific Masters trophy here.
I think it's really good because I have so many Chinese food.
and
back in we go 75 the scoreline at the half 100 thieves turning this around after a rough start to their attacker side. They absolutely obliterate T one.
Now they are leading out looking to make this a 2-0 affair.
No, I'm so impressed.
I mean, in particular that last round, just the way
that they isolate and eliminate targets, one by one,
piece by piece, they smother easy with you till there's
no mid control at all for T1 in that round.
And 100 feeds is able to get right
underneath his nose by the time they figured out
it is far too late.
It's little things like that that they do so, so well.
I mean, Vorah has just been incredible with the way that he's piloting them around this map.
But over the defender's side, let's see if this comp change for T1 can find some more success
than I would say is usual for them on their attacker side of a sent.
Being very patient.
Again, they're trying to play counter to the Phoenix here.
They're looking for the orb tab.
They want to try to counter that.
But the Phoenix isn't even going for an orb.
100 Thieves is out here playing chess.
He won.
It's behind the ball.
No cryo.
Going completely unread.
Oh, this could be absolutely brutal.
Fights two off the rim.
Bang now out of the smoke.
Gets rid of stacks.
Wasn't something that bit.
They were able to find the one.
Mild out, but he dropped down into the smoke.
You know exactly where he's going.
They're just rounding him.
Pull it on the puppet strings, manipulating him exactly where they need him to go.
That is another pistol, now 3 to 1 with the hands of 100 thieves.
It might just be the final nail of the conflict from T1 in this series.
It's a beautiful paranoia that they were two.
Nobody has any idea from T1. Again, the game theory is light years ahead for 100 thieves.
They are just out strategizing them.
And that's something this coaching staff has been doing to a lot of teams.
Since EWC, they are so on the ball.
And so there's the orb, this one.
Nobody home to try to deny.
So, see if they can brute force their way through.
Boss rushing through there, but it's completely bogged up
Big depart bang with three can you for no easy some nice shots of the classic what?
The plan of our quite help he'll get another headshot on the board up at three players will survive
Specters be carried over and hundred thieves
And close out their antique up. Okay. I mean easy
sparing some blushes here for T1, but
it's still just
Easy work, like the way that Cryo and Bangs do a little push and pull here.
Trying to keep everybody alive, trying to make it a clean anti-eco.
Easy way able to shut it down a little bit, even got a headshot.
On the drop down of Bora, but not able to do anything further with just the classic, so...
Just one half armor.
That's on Munchkin.
Demetina looking for the walk and it's a headshot to Stax.
Looking for that second can't get in.
Toulouse will end up getting punished here on the side of 100 Thieves.
The necessary shutdown and trade up from T1.
Still, you just have to be so impressed with under Thieves, man.
Getting the headshot there with the outlaw.
Unreal.
It's looking good for T1, but that's just one of those shots that just kind of like,
even if you win the round, it's going to be in the back of your head
just with how sharp they are.
Here, behind is the trip.
They want to group the team up.
Nope, they're going to clear the shock.
And then he's going to scale forward.
Maybe they were going to try to group up behind it
and then try to play together.
You've got to be careful against Kryo.
He will play that as a kill trip sometimes.
He's going to be very patient.
He's been very wily.
He's been tough to read his position.
So this one here.
Oh, help me to the shot.
So just pushing forward, kills gonna be able to be done, but as he runs out of bullets, Munch can then collect the elimination.
Still yet though, an opportunity to get some more damage in here for Bang and Bora.
Bandit in hand.
Chant said that, but going wide for now.
Recon over the top.
No, Ping revealed to be found.
It's fishing for any kind of damage that he can get through that wall and we'll be able to tap Izu a bit.
Bang now. Scaling forward. It's gonna go try to go for the shot, but Munchkin got him a spot with that and Izu keeps himself alive.
Trick play and surviving. T1 denied. Bonus conversion.
Cap now. Three rounds, but 100 thieves.
Get ready to go into the first full rifle.
Yeah, T1 able to hang on.
Again, I like some of the little ideas from 100 thieves.
Just fighting as a team, that's kind of where T1 has really made their rounds.
That's when they're able to work together, but I like that recon dart into the TP
because you know that that space is clear after it doesn't really ping anything,
or at least you can gamble a little bit more safely that maybe they're just in boats.
Try to create that extra angle, but it didn't work out, Munch can read it.
Not long again for Timitino.
Meanwhile, none anywhere in sight.
Thieves continuing to go for this half-armor buy.
People said Fanatic didn't make it to the champs.
I kind of feel like T1 just has no idea.
Or they just don't care.
I'm not sure which it is.
See, this is going to be scary for them.
Double stacked angle.
We've seen it from spawn.
Four in the market.
They're going to try to isolate him down
and get slide in from Buzz.
He's breaking that angle, more dead, switched to be hit, Relay ball over towards Vayne.
Buzz gonna be tagged up, but doesn't get eliminated, that armor keeping him in the fight, now that he'll out from Munchkin as well.
Full control over this B site, and still 5 players strong for T1.
Push in now, and bang, able to find Meteor.
Thinking maybe that he would be able to get the jump as they would have locked him in.
They are more than prepared for those cheeky antics.
And went through, but Munchkin still in sight, still with some nice aim.
Gets himself another 3k, and Buzz has the finisher, T1.
Trying to claw their way back into this map.
This went pretty well. I really am impressed that they're able to get through here
relatively cleanly. Nice entry by Buzz. Munchkin
reading the situation very nicely, even though that paranoia clips him.
He's still in a nice spot to do some punishing.
No!
He nails it.
He has looked really sharp at times today.
There is one timeout left between the two teams,
and it's 100 thieves to try to get this fixed quickly.
This is something that we saw that once they went on a run,
it didn't feel like T1 just themselves
without the help of the coaching staff had answers
on Summit.
So I like this early timeout from NBS just saying,
I trust my players more to get this done in the long run after this that I think our team can make better on the fly adjustments right now than what T one is doing.
So I'm going to call this early and just try to stop the bleeding.
I want to things have been slow going for them is trying to cycle these run it backs back up. Obviously prove to be a bit more difficult from that defender side.
With the impact that Austin is able to get every single time he has that all.
I think it's focused in.
Online more frequently, could it be?
A game changer for them.
See though, at the moment,
high is going to be looking very, very light.
Really looking to buy down further than 1700.
So some sheriffs of frenzy,
then in a stinger.
If they get a couple cry,
I don't just have that near old death,
and that could absolutely give it around to their favor.
That's exactly what I was just thinking,
Nikilio, so I was really looking at that all.
It's like one of those kind of turning point things where if they get a killer to
You could really swing this into a thrifty in their favor
Meteor has discovered the outlaws in the shot
Molly to try to lay but she's gonna go disrespecting that a stack CPS past it
We both said no, it's a turn in the face. It's still gonna be found by Asimov
Most will trade it back with this player in hell not yet flushed out bang. It absolutely shocked him with his stinger
Finds the first, the TBA to reposition still here to Helen Meteor.
Tends the same time, but to Matino.
A massive player advantage now for 100 thieves.
They look to get themselves at thrifty to take it up the double digits, but Izu,
lies to that swing.
Finds one, Munchkin gets another, but now it is all onto the shoulders of Izu.
And 1v2 in a rewrap, it's a neural theft that's going to be invested.
Latino joining in alongside him the approach from tree to swing out though and the re-ping
They may even know that he's low on HP, but he's just wants to keep the weapon drawn
Timotino's got one of his own
3k Red Bull clutch gets T1 one away from tying it up
But this round is still a cause for concern with how closely he managed to make it. No, I'm right there with you
I think this is a good read on this ego, but it's easy who's bailing him out how much can almost got to their
little micro adjustment, but
Easy who holds the line
Watch to let him know sit down sit down
He doesn't stand up too often
He's usually one of the more stoic ones out there well now to the fender off for timitino or run it back for us enough
This could still yet be struggle straight and there you go the first shot
ringing out in stacks tagged a 2 HP. Not quite the clad kill so Rez will be able to
put the back to a 4-5. He's over the ground, he's down, going to be pot.
On the hot, just trying to find that elimination. McRaea with covering fires able to find the one with stacks.
Rez man's retreating back yet again much and now the late Linger looking for the shut down.
It's not realising.
The walls have been broken.
It seems like that relay of information has just never made it across.
Media however, lights up two. Bang! Timotino not dead!
Vora alone at back sight with just 6 HP.
Munchkin.
Oh, he's looking for that ring around the rows. Did he take that Asuna but instead?
They get their kills and they say, hey, there's still 50 seconds left.
We don't have to challenge this guy.
I mean, he gets a 4k and Z1 tie at 9-9.
I mean, I'm just blown away.
This recovery here for T1 is incredible,
and it's on individual efforts.
This time, it's Meteor.
Last round, it was Edo.
Stacks there.
Does a nice job to follow up off of.
Buzze is run in.
It's a good use of the ultimate there
to get the rez on to Buzze as well, do.
Clear some space.
did not feel comfortable, but Meteor gets those two quick kills.
Now he's got a tour to force.
Timotino with the Bladestorm.
No one to play.
The Knives out.
Meteor leading the charge, and he will die first and foremost.
Timotino looking for the bottom wall,
unable to find it.
A little bit of damage to Balogin in the corner, pause.
Partying alive.
That pedals away, gets the heal from Munchkin once again.
And as it settles, it's a one for one.
Oh, look at how fast the rotates are here from Bang.
Get into that knife investment, though.
You take this every day of the week for Hunter Thieves so far.
Oh, you've got him pinned, too.
Buzz slow creeping towards the spawn.
Seems suspicious.
Self-fit.
And we'll be able to finish the job.
Bang out, Ted.
And that's going to pull attention from Hunter Thieves
back over to A. But it looks like T1 still
want to aim in towards B here.
Don't least allow for Clio to go over,
playoff of his own utile.
Yeah, I like this a lot from 100 thieves.
Cryo's got his spider web over there.
I think they're just waiting this out maybe to get the
heel back online for money.
Exactly. I was just thinking I was like just wait for the
heel to come back online and then you can rethink this idea.
Still have some good utile to clear some space here.
Still have the fast lane.
You still have a paranoia.
You're gonna have the drone to leave the charge.
They're gonna try to dodge this.
They both stuck back.
Still have a recon to buzz, Easter swinging ahead of that, and it's a monstrous punish.
Gets munched because he rides the wall up over the top of the window.
Is able to find even more Meanwhile cryo.
He didn't make it that far away.
He's still nearby enough.
And I believe that that door is open.
Easy, needing to find those two.
And even then, it wouldn't have mattered.
This round gets completely out of hand for T1 and 100 DPs.
Capitalized in a big way to another monsters one for Asuna will also get to the fuse. I mean what an answer back here for Asuna
I don't mind this idea, but it's coming down to individual plays
He won great adjustment and they're just a little bit late on the coordination with that swing
They're not convinced that someone could be in boats there
not sure if there's a little bit of
This coordination with who's supposed to be watching what you know when he boosts up on that wall should munchkin be the one watching that way
I don't you know, I don't know
That's just the osu!na you can't give him those chances because he will collect
And now he's too charged away from another run back. Yep
He had one at the start of that previous round. I believe so here we go
Under these up the double digits
Which kid is going to be eating some of this damage, Recon now having to be burned just
to try to clear out V-Main.
And he's going to try for this again, do they have any distraction to go with it?
And anything to try to draw all the attention away from this position, well, it just gets
completely bombed.
He's absolutely messed it up.
Huck is here, he's sent through, trying to find anything they possibly get, Timotino
is going to be tagged down to five.
Still alive and still with that operator.
You can absolutely find some value.
So T1, an attempt at a pushing to be that just never even
gets off the ground.
That was meant to be a coordinated play.
It just can't work if the wall doesn't work.
Tutino did get tagged up there wondering if.
Like Meteor. Meteor wall banged him.
They're wall banged him, yeah.
And now he's dialed in on this angle.
So again, just hits that one shot and he's got it.
to play a match, that's where you going.
Into the grave, apparently, as it gets the collect.
And he just has to stay tucked in wide for the next 20 seconds.
And hope and pray that they do not come hunting.
Unreal from Timotino.
10 seconds left. Unbelievable.
From both Buzz and Munchkin.
Absolutely.
Piffing their utility in this round.
Because surely he meant to TP deeper.
Yep.
Look, this is
this is as much 100 thieves doing good things as it is T1 doing very bad things.
There is a lot of mistakes here for T1.
And with a new composition, some new agents, maybe just not on the right level of comfort
that they need.
Oh, yes!
Yes!
I think you're just trying to TP forward to be a bait for Munchkin there, but timing
could not have been worse.
Now you're on to a stinger for Meteor.
Down by two and out.
Munchkin's dead off the ramp.
Asana!
Just try picking it from Cat, finds that, kills Stax as well, down to 61.
The re-pick!
He's just electric with it.
Buzz, it'll bring this down before, back stairs, finds Buzz, and now it's just me here in Ezio.
A 2v4 to try to stop 100th Eeps from making it up the match point, and given the out-of-investment,
the up-investment given that you have basically no money behind this I think
you just have to save maybe a visa kills one they opt to go for it instead it
will be meteor the one shooting forward and there's a counter-swing timing from
cryo just failed it on it they retain nothing as hundred thieves March they're
They're wearing a match point.
They're just ready for anything that T1 wants to try.
Just off the rip here, Asuna, spamming in the mid.
I don't know how much you can see, but he saw enough.
Or just assumed enough.
And patience again by Cryo.
Finds the perfect moment.
Meteor's walking out there with an operator trying
to create space.
That's so difficult in that spot.
Now you're two players, Glass Cannon here for T1.
Bulldog for Stax.
Buzz trying to slide in.
Bang, taking the exit!
Plants his feet!
Takes down Meteor!
And it would appear that they could just do no wrong.
And T1 can't do no good!
down. Stacks and Munchkin now a 2v3 try to keep this going smoke to
dissipate and there's a glimpse. Stacks able to take the fight. Takes
his opponent's life. It's the switch Munchkin in behind the bricks.
One doors broken bang able to find the one Munchkin.
Now registering that have been shot from main.
I just don't know which side, bang on the cheep forward, gets him over the line!
A 4k from the Elmen, 13-9 on a set and 2-0 in the series, 100 dives, looking alive and
well as they take down the former Cods of Shanghai, Munchkin, media cannot find success
not yet!
this is just stellar work from under these today the prep was through the
roof they were so ready for everything T1 and wanted to do the
adjustments were great the mid-rounding incredible from Bora some great starts
unsummit into a great finish a little bit rocky here and there on a set but they
get through it really nicely and again I think just better prep better
understanding the coordination the team play I'm so happy we got that comms
That's really how good they are absolutely just absolute perfection
And yes some stumbles some some glimmers of hope for T1 throughout both of these maps
But it just felt like every time hundred thieves
Started to understand what they wanted to do that every perfect counteraction
Yep to shut down T1 and T1 which is left reeling unable to come up with any response whatsoever
However, this is absolutely a team to be feared.
And for the moment, it is looking like America's
may just yet be able to come out on top of another champions.
Another team from Pacific falling to the wayside.
And then it's just Paper Rex in the final victory
in their opening series.
We'll see if the region can lock into the future.
But for now, let's hear from our winners.
We'll send it down to the floor for a Verizon post match interview.
Hello, Cryo.
Hi, Cryo.
We need you for an interview. Can you just take the selfie later on?
Okay, yeah.
So you look pretty good. You and Asuna look pretty good on Chamber and Sage on Summit.
So do you think like this Sentinel composition is the best one for Summit or just for you and Asuna specifically?
From our experience, we think this is the best comp on Summit and it fits our team really well.
You know, I'm obviously on Chamber and Asuna is on Sage, so I think the roles fit pretty well and yeah.
Okay, I just wanted to ask him, because Shang Bo Le and the two players of the group look really good, especially in the game against Tian Shu.
So what I want to ask is, does he think that this group is the most suitable for Tian Shu's group?
Or is it really for him and Asuna?
According to his experience, for them, this is really a very, very good group.
He played very comfortably in this position in Shang Bo Le. Asuna's players are also very good, so he thinks that this group is really very strong.
Last time you came to Shanghai, did you have any memories of the past?
Including the fact that you've been together for 24 years, what's your biggest change?
It's probably my favorite event that I've been to. I love it here in Shanghai and yeah, hopefully we can win it out this time.
Hopefully, I do think so.
He is one of my favorite players in the team.
He wants to win more because of this tournament.
He wants to win 100T, which is a huge team.
I'm looking forward to his more pressure and motivation.
I have to say 100T is definitely my favorite team.
Does this kind of expectation bring you more pressure or momentum?
It definitely puts a little more pressure on us, but we have a lot of experience.
We've been through two Grand Finals this year and we won both of them.
So we definitely have the experience to close it out, and that's what we're looking to do.
Okay.
He said he was definitely confident in winning this game.
Because he also felt that they had a lot of pressure,
but he felt that they both won the championship twice this year.
So he was very confident in this game.
and congrats on the next wing.
Have the like on the upper bracket.
One map. Ten players. One shot to get it right. Every victory is built on someone holding their
ground so the team can make the next move. The anchor that makes every rotation possible.
At Globet, we play that same role. Supporting the technology that powers the world's biggest
games, so nothing gets in the way of the moment. Global, powering your missions.
I'll be back.
Tomorrow, the greatest players enter the arena.
Welcome!
We are live from the arena!
chasing the moments the squad lists for priceless wherever the game takes you
there's Mastercard
It's going to be JDG versus
foot victory here back with
Ender and Mel. This is it. This
is the very last of four days.
I feel like time has gone by and
it's been a good week for
Americas. Yeah, it's been
fantastic for Americas, but
heading into this series. The
opposite is true for the home
It is true for the home crowd teams, right?
China is winless in series end map score.
And yet, for me, I think group A is the easiest group
to sneak out with a second seed.
Hunter Thiepstra made, wrap that up in number one,
but I think if the Chinese team
is gonna be able to punch their ticket out of the groups,
it's gonna be JDG here in group A.
Yeah, I think JDG have that pressure as well
of being the first CN team
to actually kinda make an impact here.
Like you said, they're currently 0 and 6
as a region that's counting the maps.
They haven't been able to cross single maps,
so a lot on their shoulders here,
not just for their hometown,
but just for themselves as well
to really get them on what I'm going.
Definitely, this moment is a huge moment for JDG.
After all, this is their very first appearance
on the global stage.
But that said, we're seeing some better experience
right here on the camera,
both YU and Berlin had been here before on other teams.
Yeah, actually, this is YU's second international.
He placed third at Masters Toronto last year
with Wolves, if you remember, with Sioux Fad baby,
and Berlin for him.
It is his fifth international performance.
So as an organization, as a team, this is their first,
but the individuals on this roster
have a lot of veterans.
Yeah, I mean, this is an organization
that pulled together some of that veteran leadership
with the unquire power, with mid-season swaps.
Right?
You remember Stu that was playing for subbing at 3G?
He was back with this team, but they departed with him
after a long time to put this squad together.
And this team went on a pretty amazing run here
to try and qualify.
Definitely.
And there's another person on this team
that has a lot of international stage experience,
and that's Bile, coach Bile of this squad.
He has qualified every single year with Billy Billy.
And this is the first time Billy Billy hasn't made it
to an international stage.
And that's because he, perhaps, because they lost Bile.
And instead, he brought this team JDG over.
I mean, the stats don't lie, right?
Billy Billy make it all with him, don't without.
And now JDG never made a champs in making it with him.
Biggest signing ever.
It's something I'm very genuinely curious about.
He was formerly with Gen G over in Pacific
before he came over to VCTC
and started making a huge impact here.
But with that said, this is the last chance for China
to get any wins in the opening week.
Yeah, to make a splash.
I mean, when I look at their story leading up to this too,
they really, really had to earn their spot here.
So I have a lot of hope that they'll be able to do something because unlike other teams that are coming in through points
They made the grand finals against Tai Lu ended up losing out
But if you look at their group stage performance in stage two they went one and four
They went 10th place in their group and that means they went all the way from the very beginning first round of play-ins to here
And if there's any faith for the CN fans to hold on to it's the fact that they really earned their ticket here
Yeah, and along the way, right through play-ins, knocking out some favorites in EDG in a tough situation there.
Yeah, absolutely. Now, Mika Fabz had a chance to catch up with YU ahead of his return to the champion stage. Let's see what he has for us.
Mika and Lisa here, and we're with YU of JDG. Now, YU, when you were on Wolves, you saw how important a Hyped Man can be for the team. I'm wondering who is that on JDG?
Why especially in the Langzhou, you should know the importance of the team's active atmosphere.
This time, you came to the capital, who do you think is the team's active partner?
I think everyone is.
But you know, when the crowd is full, we are the greatest leader, Xiao Fei.
So I hope I can also meet him and become the kind of person who can lead everyone to the wrong body.
So I think for now everyone is that high-man. Everyone can hide the teams up.
but I know that, you know, back to Toronto,
there is a great leader, Sufat.
So I think I want to learn from him
and become the kind of great leader
that can hype the teams up.
Oh, excited to see why you become that great leader
to hype up the team.
Do you see that?
Do you see that NYU being the hype man?
He seems so chill and low key.
I'm not sure if he's like the Sufat
like screaming kind of standing up
in his chair kind of guy.
And yet he seems like a trustworthy guy.
So I want to believe it.
I want to trust him that he's going to be that guy.
I mean, they're really going to need someone like that.
And I think more than anything, that is the absolute bare minimum
that CN is going to need because the CN teams we've seen, you know,
Tyloo with Sieutback, they lost two maps.
EDG with Kong Kong, the showman, they lost two maps.
They didn't even get any.
So I'm going to want to see that as an absolute baseline from this team
on top of all the other adjustments.
We need to see CN teams make if they want to punch that ticket to playoffs.
Maybe we need a CN team who's a little bit more chill, you know.
JDG did have an up and down year and they didn't qualify on points, so the pressure was absolutely on for this team.
They had to make top two and they pulled it off.
Yeah, yeah, they had to make top two. And honestly, after running through that play in Scotland, it seems like they suddenly became favorites to win at all.
Right, you see there up in the upper bracket, they had taken down Tyloo initially in the first match.
Unfortunately, when it came to that re-match, they came up just shy and come into this champs as the number two seed.
I feel like JDG's story and how they got here is a very
accelerated version of what happened at KC actually and Tai Lu in the sense through Sioufat where Sioufat and KC both
went 0-5 at some point in this year before they finally went on a run.
JDG on the other hand is on an accelerated timeline. They went 1-4 in their group, then they went through planes,
They beat edg they came in through the uppers and they actually lost the tyloo coming in from the lower
So I feel like they've more than earned their position here
And I think that there is a level of momentum even though they didn't quite went out
Do you think qualifying in this way in a way that they might have not even expected to get here to chance?
You know and being kind of rated next to these other three huge names and bctcn
Who have been here so many times does that give them more or less pressure?
I think it's up to the veterans to sort of try and reduce that pressure
I think for this team
It's kind of a surprise that they had the chance to come here and yet you think about the situation in which they thrive
Right not doing well in the group stage
But put them in a tournament format and they go on a run
They have that lightning strike now that they're here in a champ situation another
Compressed tournament structure. They need to have that lightning strike fast here and not go out like the other CN teams early on
definitely and they're two to their dive duelists that definitely have our eyes on it's a j and j
Kuro now they're not as veteran as the other two so tell me a bit more about them. No, I mean, I think that
JDG
Win when these guys are firing on all the cylinders JDG is a team that loves just go find you and fight you and when
Judd and j Kuro are locked in and doing just that JDG can steamroll rounds
I think the unique aspect of this double duelist combo is not what you've seen by teams like Lev or hundred thieves
where they have a dive duelist and a flash duelist.
When you see G and Jakur out there,
they're both playing dive,
and it's kind of really a something
that we see from the other team,
but it's a great combination.
It's like a one-two punch combo,
but keep in mind there are no flashes.
Yeah, and it's, I think, going to be the important duo
to look at heading into the series,
because you can say very similar things,
off-foot on the other side.
Two duelists at the front,
also very young players there.
That's the four guys I've got my eyes on today.
Oh, definitely.
I think we're gonna see a clash of similar play styles today.
Now, this will be a tough opponent in the form of foot,
in the form of Turkish aim,
and they finished fifth to six at Masters London,
and they were the team that eliminated NRG.
Yeah, they took down both NRG and G2,
so America's killers over here with foot East Sports,
but I think they sort of found their stride, right?
Especially the young guys in Sop and Zeus
really took off in that event in almost surprising manner.
just really stepping up to the challenge.
But then coming out of that, they still look good back
in Europe, but just fall short in Barcelona
when they actually went for the roadshow.
Four finals weekend, winless on maps.
And I think it's very important for Futsch to reset quickly
and capture the magic that they found back in London.
I don't think it's too uncommon in these more younger,
explosive, firepower-based teams
to kind of make that initial run at their first international
and then fall a little flat in the second showing.
It's just kind of a natural up and down like valleys and then mountain tops kind of situation, but at around this point in a young team's life span, this is when they normally start to actually pick up their game really get into their stride.
So I'm expecting more from them and I'm expecting them to make it actually a better appearance than they showed earlier this year.
And I think that's the big question, right, is whether or not it will be the dips in valleys, right? Or if it was just one peak and this is the tournament, they have to prove that it wasn't just a peak and a falloff.
that they can get back to those elevations once again.
And I don't know if this is a little bit of a cope,
but it was actually after they qualified to chance that,
we saw that dip kind of happen as well.
So I don't know if that's the case,
but a foot fan might say so.
But let's hear from Yetejay himself,
what he thinks about coming into chance
over with Mika Fabz.
Mika Fabz here and I'm with Yetejay of Foot.
Welcome back to Shanghai.
Now, of course, Turkish AIM is feared by just about everybody,
but I think everybody's also wondering if it's going to be enough this year.
What needs to happen for FUT to be a top team in this tournament?
We just need to stick to our game plan because we are good enough
and just be ready for the enemy moves that will be alright.
Excited to see it on the stage. Best of luck.
Alright, you know, we were just talking about this
And you're having a little bit doubt about my cope, or perhaps
it's not a cope, but they were relaxing
after the qualifier chance.
Because my opinion, I don't think they were relaxing.
I think this is a young team that's
hungry to win.
You go to a roadshow finals weekend.
You're not going into a coasting, right?
And for me, I think the big difference
was their young, duelist plays, whether or not
they can actually step up to the occasion.
Once again, I'm looking at Zeus, and specifically,
Sop, I think, has absolutely taken over.
When foot are winning games, this
is on top of the world. I mean, this team is already like the pinnacle of Turkish aim and
Sop is the complete embodiment of it in just one person. He plays the jet to perfection
exactly what you would want from him. He gets in first. He comes out with the moldy kills,
not just with the selfish entry, but with insane highlight clips on repeat. And what I love the
most really about this team and also as part of Sop, which maybe some might find controversial is,
I love the arrogance of youth. I love that he isn't afraid to be confident. I think a lot of
players and you see it in their interviews from a majority of the VCT teams are almost scared to bet on themselves.
You know, be like, yeah, I am going to be the one to win these fights.
You need to prove yourself to me.
And I love that aspect of his personality in his gameplay.
And because it really matches so well together, he can really back up the talk.
Yeah. And I think that when when you have him paired up with with Zeus and you've got
soft dominating on the neon and the jet, Zeus primarily locking in the way like you can just overwhelm teams when you are playing at that top level.
We already compared this duo to what JDG is going to be bringing in in a similar sense to this matchup.
And that's why, again, I think you can't look anywhere else but these two duos squaring off.
Oh, absolutely. And I think today was probably the toughest one for me to give in a prediction for.
Especially considering their explosive play styles coming head to head against each other.
And JDG not really having this international appearance before. What are your thoughts on these two today?
I mean, honestly, I think it's a tough one as well with you
because I think stocks are relatively low on CN teams
right now after the opening days of games.
But equally, I do think that this is JDG's best shot
for a CN team to win a series here in the opening.
I mean, I hope it is because they've lost the first three.
But even looking on paper, I think this matchup
feels very similar for these teams.
This feels like a fair matchup between the two squads.
I completely agree with you.
My pick-ups so far from this event have been flawless.
I feel like a lot of the games have also been straight-up.
But I say that because this one has been the hardest for me to call and that might seem kind of silly when you look at all the other matches, but it really could go either way.
It really depends on which team is really firing on the day because both of the teams are so firepower centric and you're going to look to both of those double tools to create those win conditions.
And it's like, all right, who spent two hours DM and who followed their routine to perfection and who's really feeling hot.
And if I had to look in at one of these young players and ask for a little bit more.
little bit more now that we're stepping onto the big stage. For me, it is Zeus. I think that Zeus
was able to find that stride back in London and it has not been the same domestically since that
peak for him at that level. I think if he's able to capture it again on the global siege,
this foot team is a force to be reckoned with. And from JDG, I think the least we can expect from
them is maybe not having that pressure that the other CN teams have coming into this event and
and doing the best that they can.
I think coming in just a little bit relaxed,
no expectations, get a win for China.
It's time, it's time to do it.
We want it here at the desk as well.
So it seems like JDG and Foot are ready to take the stage.
Let's get this one started.
Shanghai.
A green room.
Although I've been living here all the time,
and Yi is still working here
I won't let him happen again in the last game
I wasn't so confident in the past
but I was able to show my skills
After the last game, I didn't think I could do it again
I didn't think I could go up to this level again
and being here
makes me feel how much I've done here
We can play against them in the Champions League.
I like the style of the game.
The wind power and the speed.
But I don't think it's a good match.
I'm happy to face Berlin.
Because our first match against FDS is in the 7th season.
Berlin is ready.
We're going to play against him.
I'm ready to win this championship.
I'm waiting for you to challenge me.
It was a Turkish machine who are looking to make a much bigger impact compared to the Masters run in London.
Well, it's fun to be bringing the passion to the stage here today.
This team is full of young, hungry, talented players, and they're going to get to kick things off on a signature map.
A sense now is where this team is most at home.
This map, honestly, you get rewarded so much if you don't want to expose your rules, especially on that defense side.
If you have great pick selection, you can get so much value for your team and make it feel like the attack is shaking
at every single corner, and one thing I took from that teaser
is that Getty J will come into this with a chip on his shoulder.
He is the last remaining player on foot that lost to Berlin years ago,
and I know for a fact that has lit a fire underneath him for this game.
Yeah, they get to start here on the signature,
the original Turkish jet map here of Scent,
of course, going to be going up against JDG,
trying to find the first win of even a map here
in the group stage in Shanghai in front of the home crowd.
It's looking like a tall task based on the previous games,
but I really do think this is China's best shot in JDG.
Well, one thing that has certainly been the trend
here in Champs, and I would say even in London as well,
the newer teams, the younger players,
the rookies are the ones who are making this impact.
Like you were saying, well, especially if they're coming in
with this confidence and kind of this new brand of valorant,
this is what is surprising a lot of the experienced teams.
My mind goes straight to the young Duelist
that has been absolutely destroying on Neon at this event.
We saw the patch hit Neon, we saw teams overreact
and go to other Duelists, but at this event, by far,
the Neon Duelists have been explosive.
They have made a huge splash,
so I'm looking to either team
to really get the momentum started,
and whichever team starts on attack or sent,
it will be an uphill battle.
Yeah, that's something to look at,
because I ultimately think that the sent
is a necessary win for a foot
when you look at JDG choosing to move on to Summit for map number two.
Look, footer playing the breach over on that map.
It's a little bit suspect for me personally.
I think JDG, if they're able to come out here, take through it immediately,
it is looking lights up for them.
Definitely. And of course, the name of the game,
one of the columns to VCT is Momentum.
And here is the agent select for the very last map of the set.
JDG love this composition on a set.
It's an old classic.
It's a throwback to Deadlock, Yoru, with the single-duel score.
You used to play this one.
My team, we've loved this comp, but I will say,
in the current meta this year, it is being viewed as outdated.
And for good reason.
You've seen that neon meta takeover this year.
Yoru will find it incredibly difficult
to find a way to survive on site,
which means JDG needs to find the absolute best methods
to support J.
Do you think, though, that it stacks up better
against a team that's playing Jet Phoenix?
So I remember having Yoru there with the clones
to counter out the trips and the stunts
was really effective back in the day.
Yeah, I could definitely see Yatterjay
getting caught off guard and having to really think
about where he's going to place his UTIL going
into all the disruptive forces from JDG.
But it is a little difficult.
If I was foot and I was running double dive,
maybe this wouldn't be as big of an issue.
But we'll see them starting on the defense
is going to be a huge boon to their confidence
to get soft on that jet off early and get him going
with great pick selection.
I think one other thing to be a little bit wary of for foot
when they move on to their own attack side
is the amount of track plays and forward fighting you can do with that deadlock catch.
Util in the mains, I think it is very underrated,
but JDG are good at using that to bolstrop the early engages.
This is also going to be an interesting indication of how these teams will be moving forward on a scent
with 100 thieves waiting for the winner of this matchup.
Yeah, I mean, 100 thieves is always going to be a tough ask.
I think both these teams would love to have that chance to fight off against them,
but for me, it's mostly about staying away from falling into lower bracket.
China need a win, JDG need to step up.
Absolutely, and it's time to pass it to our casters, Uber and Wyatt.
Four Chinese teams have now walked out onto this stage.
Three of them have left without winning a map.
Now comes JDG, a global debut for the All, carrying the hopes of China.
And across from them is Fus, a team that has spent all year learning how to play.
We don't we don't need the model on today
Put the cast in the back
Just see what happens. Okay, fair enough. This is a
Let's just see if they can do it kind of that
right
Translation of that is that
Nobody is getting to ahead of themselves. I think of the Chinese side of things JDG are the final charts for this region to get a
Mapper win in this first round of matches, but
They're free sports themselves, I wouldn't say they've been high flies, but hey, that's what I've been made of.
You get Crusty, we're out of the place.
Stop with the ace kills, Phil.
Not sure I expected the map to stop this way, but well, here we are. Turkey is landed.
I will tell you right now that if we enter a future in which JDG decides to pick a sense,
the most defencided map in the pool right now globally.
Ronald D'Avos-Senti, but can only get one round on attack so we never see the defense.
I will cry.
I will cry.
If foot just snowballed this into a dominant defense.
Listen, listen to that.
The crowd is seething.
Been legitimately mad about what happened
in their first round.
It's like a half-wile, half-yell?
Man, yeah.
So to say they're not gonna be thrilled if foot
come away with a dominant win today.
They are not playing with the home field advantage
to put it in the lightest of terms possible.
I mean, Jony G, the fourth Chinese team to step on to the stage in Shanghai.
They probably don't feel like they're at home either.
None of them have.
Give me a second around.
It's up with the helm of the Enterprise here towards mid.
A player quoted as being someone who will throw a bunch of rounds.
This is by their manager.
But will also win more rounds on his own than he throws, and so that kind of cancels out.
Yeah, fair trade offer.
Yo, Cross-Stali! He's back at it!
Why you on his own and Sop just flattens him?
They already know where Berlin is.
And it's just a matter of hitting him one. That is 7-0 for Cross-Stali.
There's a one away from the Hunter's Fury for the bonus round.
This put team are right in position to snowball this out of control.
If that all comes up this round, a round where they're already playing with a noden, yeah they're going to run away with this half.
We're going to double back for something that Mel put it out in the deaths as we came into this game.
The double 70 comp on this map is pretty outdated to quote her and I'd agree we were covering double 70 comps back in challenges in 2024.
You have some controlling you till to break the map and take space behind those smokes you've even got a flash for your root
But outside of that your ability to play fast half these big side excuse is not really there
You kind of just need to set up a post-plant scenario, but so much of the round involves contacting me into space and trying to win out there
Tell me the amount of times I have seen this situation where a team runs double centi on this map
They pick it the other team starts defense and they never even get a chance to really play defense because the lead is insurmountable
It comes up all the time
I'm looking at this map pool and I am questioning why
JDG did not take us more so the Lotus direction perhaps
They kind of have a decent matchup against foot with the maps a footluck playing Haven
That's a perma-ban cool. This is sent pick though has it has thrown me off to see the leaves
Yeah, it's not look never keyboard issue down there on the stage for those wonderers. I'm experiencing this brief delay
Yeah, so interesting not poorly sort of head into obviously summit will be JDG's picked as we head into that after this
Coming at us with a bit of an old right deal
with this W double senty look on the set, whereas look,
Foot, I think there was a concession also made,
I feel like, you know, Christy points it out,
it's like, okay, well, they're not playing neon, right?
This comp, although it is a double duelist,
look here for Foot Esports,
it's not quite as fast-paced,
it may be there's a threat of running into this arresting
U-Till when you're on the attack side,
but like you mentioned, we've got to get there.
Like this double senty single flash one smoke composition
has to get some attack side rounds,
I mean, there's kind of a reason that back in this era, the era where this double-sending cop was common,
this map was way more skewed towards a defense side.
Not so much now, though. You need to win these attacks right around.
If all the maps on the pool even solve this here, like, we've seen Jett be pretty fine here.
It's actually the two regions, EMEA and China, that have continued to play the most jet globally.
And by the numbers, they are leading in that.
So, it's not as if JDG haven't gotten a solid amount of prac even in the most recent state,
playing against jet.
He's in China, like to run it.
But, you know, Sop is kind of a different type of guy entirely.
And the Bambino quote, he basically says, he literally says,
Sop is actually fully crazy.
Like he's nuts.
He'll just throw some rounds,
but also he'll just go and win some on his own,
and yeah, as long as he's winning more,
than he's throwing away, that it is fine.
But this is the kind of player that was scouted out by Vlad,
back when Sop actually ascended into EMEA.
When this roster retooled itself around the energy,
Vlad brought Sop over, said,
We need this guy this guy is the future guys hyper-aggressive got a lot of potential and look you've got a
Quora in this car. I got to get a jay been around for a so shibble
You know who's a veteran by this point is it's that classic roster-building strategy?
It's worked so many times so just you know you get your old men and you combine them with the young talents that are a little bit better
It's shooting and you got magic, you know
It's it is the classic maneuver
The NRG approach of last year, you know
The experienced guys the new challengers players it always works
It's just a classic valent formula
And if you kind of know how about how this team goes about their business normally
Soppen Zeus constantly do a cute constantly just grinding double duelist in ranks
That's that's all they do. If I had to be fair like Crisali and the energy also play together a fair bit
But yeah, those two just get together, queue up some rank, then just keep going.
These guys are ranked demons.
Someone spilled Red Bull on the keyboard?
What's going on?
Any second now, surely, right?
Yes, we're told.
What happened to that keyboard, man?
We're getting ready checks from our players, so that just means a confirmation
that we can continue the game.
This is round number three, the very start of round number three.
In fact, on the set.
And by all appearances, we are back into the game.
Crisali and Sop have single-handedly, and I mean that literally,
turn JDG into pulp for the first couple rounds of the map.
Yeah, you know.
Reality meets the expectations.
People are definitely assuming that JDG will be turned into a pulp on the stage by
the end of this match.
About an hour or 20 minutes from now is the expectation of most.
What did you say?
There'll be homogenits?
There's a super homogenit on the stage.
That is the expectation.
But hey, maybe it's freeing that at this point they are the team that doesn't have a ton of hopes on their shoulders
They're not coming into this with the same pressure as
EDG the number one seed Tyloo XLG always at these globals
When JDG did beat Tyloo on their way to qualify for champions, but it's just a weird story how they see them is ending
trade it out into Sop, but it's a martial getting value against a full rifle team
So Ft. Not going to be complained about a trade like that.
J-Crow also took a face full of damage.
Exactly. You hate to see just the one for one when you're only removing the Marshall from play.
50 seconds on the clock, JDG do not have control right now of either of those extremities and take photo towards A.
Crostale would love to stare at the corner of a wall and hold down mouse one again
Valderon makes his way into tree but not quite deep enough in the crowd trying to ward belly away from this course of action
But in this regards now, it's only a main presence if a JDG and my goodness
They have burned this clock down to the stop 20 seconds and Crostale
simply kills jacaroh he's just still the hundreds fury by the way this is
legitimately impossible for JDG there's just no way to win this round
we're gonna have a flash play out of heaven here foot gonna want to try to
take this fight stop the punch yeah it's on the pod and that means that foot
can go up to crown fisher solo yoru in hell sure maybe prefers a real thing to
this. He will await his judgement as footy sports laying on up. Spotted out by the can,
no surprise this is your lurking under there. Sociable ends here.
Look, Sharers looked like one of the bright spots of this scene, a talented player showing
up at his first champions, but unfortunately for him, he's not gonna be able to show any
of that when he's put in an impossible situation on a crucial anti-bonus round straight away.
And this just simply is where the game gets completely out of control, where you can see
the future so clearly in which JDG can't get enough done on attack to even play out the
defense side with the better defense comp.
I've said it 27 times already, but man, it comes up constantly.
But, Tim, this map, this comp.
And that's why the Odin is so perfect against this setup, Wyatt.
Like a team that is just trying to jiggle corners and walk up on you.
Oh yeah, I mean, imagine when Sop gets the off-on line as well.
Yeah.
It's just a nice answer to that contact play.
The outlaw is going to do just fine on a round like this for Sop, isn't it?
J-Co already six feet under.
Here's a flash play.
There's one flash.
JDG have to work with.
And then Vanessa turned into elimination on Zeus.
I'll double back towards mid, but it is close.
Your pace from JDG and Sop is just going to wait.
It's a nice shot from Joe, a nice pop flash to have the
opportunity to hit it.
But where can JDG go from there?
Maybe there's a situation where they can find another pick
somehow and the dimensional drift becomes relevant.
The Crown Fisher still has his kit.
Berlin still has a recon here.
There are some tools to be able to work into an exec.
All right, we have trips here.
If they can take this A site unscathed, maybe just
force the Y2J away or just one for one somehow,
it could be in a decent position.
Why, you has to stick out.
You're trying to clear that trip.
You eventually got it.
But yet a J turned into a shooting gallery, man.
Brutal stuff.
And stop.
SUCKSHOT IN THE BEDBASKET!
We are walking onto sites and things are going predictably badly.
Let's talk about Jett.
I mean, it wasn't no talk but a great open-to-kill.
He has a dimensional drift.
That's nice.
I mean, get a Jett on one.
That's great. Beautiful strafing there, but...
Yeah, I'm sure the only statistical standout, I think, on JDG in their run...
obviously made an ascension final in 2025 with a rare atom roster and it was picked up anyway by JDG
after that. This first global he's got the only flesh on his team in this comp and he got some
dimensional drift he's gonna avail himself of it straight away but why you it's just soldiering
down catwalk and gets blown up JDG now trying to make their way through a main smoke's going down
into the site of the musager against the opener. Okay, Gravenet gets a little bit of value,
get that barrier set up now, Crossnally go, can fire straight through,
and then we're not just gonna get this guy, kill surely not. Okay, there it is, good paranoia,
but Stomp's gonna be there for the exchange. Blade's gone active, and it is only Berlin.
Baxinorma under the blaze wall rather briefly, should probably look to take a fight quickly
If he can, but Zeus, it's good to stay safe.
Sop will join him.
Between the two of them, you expect
they're gonna be gunning for the Sova.
Sociable ends it from Main.
And that's five rounds on the truck
for the old Turkish squad.
JDG just intend on using both of the smokes
towards A for Heaven and Door to get in,
but because of that, their Cypher,
YU is just running down mid behind a dimensional drift but there's a smoke for mid one easy pick for soft and
From there the dominoes
They just fall
Easy for foot again man advantage just flood back into that site brawl through heaven
They're always going to have better utsile for the brawl here playing with the phoenix
Crystalli nails the drone with his recon three players caught here inside the ground
But there's no mechanism to make use of it, no mechanism to follow up or punish, but it's going to be walking the tree here.
And Crownfish just contacts into an Odin.
Inevitability in this round that Zeus is going to walk away with another orb, surely he finds one at some point.
So the string of ultimates just never ends for JDG to deal with on top of the Odin, on top of the AWP.
More than just a crossfire here, it's gonna be a full guns salute!
Only for JDG, Berlin has no other option but to walk up into this and we'll just die.
Tough round for JDG, only the sheriffs brought in but the same issues rearing their heads we've seen for the last six rounds.
Why are you yet to frag and getting caught out in some situations like walking down mid with no smoke coverage?
For the Esports Army, we're leisurely behind here and we're looking very closely at the next round.
We're matching it's going to be a jetty time out here.
We've got to see a big change.
is 12 and one, stop eight and one, zero pressure on this foot roster and zero pace being brought
by JDG. You know something discussed by foot management was hey this thing just needed a break
so you know around the end of the... Oh yeah they said they didn't practice right? Yeah they
weren't really practicing towards the end, they already qualified for champs, take a little break
after that and then start grinding it out, prepping. Not really going to see necessarily a whole lot
of what they've been working on, which is great for them, at least in terms of ascent.
I'm curious to see though, in the future in this years, what they're going to do on attack,
like something that I had in mind going into this that I'm curious to look at was that after the
loud game yesterday, Dryad had done an interview with Darker and had asked about the teams that
were screaming if anyone stood out. And he said that foot are playing in screams unlike any team
team in America's any team that he's ever scrimmed against.
They are running it down harder than anyone he has ever seen
and are way more aggro than Laos themselves.
So I'm like,
That's crazy coming from the America's scrim gods themselves.
I remember everyone thinking that Laos was the second coming
in scrims.
So I'm hearing that and I'm just curious to see how that
translates your in game for foot.
And so far on defense, obviously they've been able to play
to some decent floods, but they're just finding the easy
Exploding the needs to be
Fully activated with any kind of struggle. I do love that Zeus just stood there and waited for soft to extricate himself
Well, that's nice. That's not a theory
That's the openers who's gonna play in the mid here with that run it back active check that close right corner though
He simply is out of the open, but he actually opened up for soft to find the pick on the cypher is sociable will get his pound
And hey
Clare advantage here for foot and yet a trace about to make it excruciating
Well the check white River
Sorry, what was that? I said well, I'm okay
I'm I'm so okay
JDG come on fellas. Just give me two rounds so I can see a little a little bit of this defense
just a couple, anything's possible when you're on a senty.
Even just as like a, let me cope, even out of interest,
just to see how this double senty plays into this jet look.
Little gap in the smoke there, left intentionally by Sociable.
Looks like that's, deadlock ult did not catch on,
the annihilation, missing.
Stop looking for a second shot,
Jake Crow blinded the bat, and a weak shot in the behind.
No, so you can tell Sociable really wanted to get some
on the board, sitting with the three and one,
the way he threw that smoke down
so he could still take a fight next to it,
he's really trying to boost his stats, respect.
Is that the classic?
Wanted to arc in stat pad,
but I could tell he wanted to get some kills bad, you know?
Just leave a gap in smoke and try to punish it.
You know what, I respect it.
I like a little smoke like that.
Well, JDG are tragically back onto the eco.
Yeah, and we asked like a slowly turned,
We had a further two-dimensional.
We had a coach bail timeout after round six.
We didn't really get to see, I think,
what the fruit of that was.
The starter round was fine.
Hudders fury set up pretty well.
And this is not even a tiles crunch, folks.
We are just walking in the mid.
Getting a lot of util really being used on that one.
Wait, it's on the top of mid.
Why is he up there with the up right now?
He is taking down, punish for that.
That was extraordinarily audacious.
average ranked experience
look at the blue x on the map
it's feeling like a uh...
you know a decent game for uh...
uh... foot to establish themselves on the stage
get comfortable
you know what i mean
they had a nice showing in london
get themselves prepped to go even deeper here
they are
the chilling to my mind relaxed
These guys are like the kings of almost.
You know, they've got this tendency
to play really well in playoffs in EMEA, right?
They get to an upper final, they lose that horribly.
And then they get to the drop to the lower final,
they lose that horribly.
They get third place in stage one and stage two,
and it's the same pattern from these guys.
It's like, as soon as they get to the weekend
that decides champions, they're just like, maybe not.
I mean, we're already there.
We're already there. We could go to the cancun. I don't know. I'd enjoy ourselves
They're in the sense that you know they could I don't know be stage winners, but in fairness
The number three EME AC put them up against 3dG in the first game of champions. So, you know
That's there's nothing to
Roo in terms of how you're seating is positioned
Yeah, they've gone themselves in the group that on paper community
Just rating is the softest, you know.
Feels like Hunter Thieves are a pretty clear favorite.
And then, do you want to have their struggles this year?
But, you know, squeezing to making it to champs still,
JDG are a huge question mark,
really just suddenly deciding to go on a playoffs run,
but ultimately losing in the finals
with a double map benefit.
It's like, chaos.
Don't really know where to entirely place them.
base on their trajectory.
And to some extent, they're reliable in that,
I feel like you know exactly what you're going to get
from their players.
You know the exact quality of play they're going
to bring in that regard.
There are aspects of their play that are trustworthy.
There are aspects of their play that are a little bit
less trustworthy, but I think ultimately,
they are one of the more reliable teams.
Especially given the status of EMEA in the last couple
months, that they are able to maintain upper tier status while the rest of them are just
getting bopped by Challengers, teams day in, day out foot. They manage to stabilize and
make it go up.
Until they go up against their Contemporaries, end the upper and lower finals and just lose.
And by their own admission, they're not a heavy anti-ing team. Yedderjay says we just
kind of play our own game, but they hate playing against EMEA teams and they hate playing against
Vitality and Heretics especially because they anti them and they just, they can't handle
Then it's like we just can't be fatality. I don't know why
so perhaps
good flat is
Made some extra additions in terms of their prep. I don't know how you get a good read on JDG for example
But the rest is good especially a hundred these want to tape on them
And a ninth round we've got our flush into market but for the very abscondent and JDG want to just go for a straight up
Be split they have the wall down and spawn to try to cut off any fast rotates so they can't be a flood
for the initiative. Cross out, announcing his own position here and staying inside the
graph net for the time being. Fun Valorant gameplay. Just stood still with the
other camp move. Oh my! Why you don't do it! Please turn around!
Hanna J. Hayat trying to pick up after Sop was downed by J. in the smoke. Player of
energy for JDG but they are committed because that spike is... well it's downed.
Swag is down.
Jerb dealt with Delvin's. This is going to make his way forward.
It's the energy force to try and get in with an op here.
Oh, he knows him. Crown Fischer.
Previously unknown player in 26 before coming to this team gets his.
And that's why you, who, for most of this game, has not been able to fag.
It looks like a couplence, but far from done.
You cannot let energy do that to your son.
Is it if his confidence wasn't soaring it up?
Why you just lose his nerve in the 1v1?
The tears are beginning to form, I can feel it.
I might start crying.
We are headed towards the 11-1 that I've said in the beginning where the team picks
the double centium they get caught. I just want you to know I'm here to hold back.
Told you I'd cry. Yeah. Oh, I just want to validate that emotion. Okay. It's, um, it's
all right. You're about to break it. I just want to look away. It's, it's just so sad.
All right, let's see if they can run it back. It was a pretty good exec idea on the last round
to be fair. They contact up, Nick, get a lot of space. They have the wall and spawn to cut off.
Rotates. It just comes down to the inability to trade out on Crostale. He was getting so many
free ones and well you know this time where we're walking up and we're just
allowing Sop to have this debangle. Yeah. Hosted all the way top mid. There is
eventually a smoke there top mid, Sop opts to play into it here. It's still gonna be
tough to find a way forward obviously the deadlock is down so these post plans
are a little bit more acceptable for foot they're not gonna have to deal with
all that you know the barrier thrown up over towards defense side spawn and you
any of those crap nets that could catch you out early, but again, we're just making use of what little
site hitting you till we have, but that is the smoke and flash gone. So now what?
JDG literally don't have anything but his dimensional drift now to use to get into the...
Oh my god! Stop! No! Berlin, they're gonna cut him to the quick, but not before he leaves his mark.
Berlin is very, very low, still able to fight out against Zeus, it's a trade. Why you with the
Guardian gonna make his way towards this big side, but he's gonna be noted
Nienna J will be patient so she will pick up the other angle
And it's ritual slaughter here
Pray for a good harvest I think
Two rounds you want to do right hey you wanted two rounds wire
Going around 11, buddy
They try to just sit up, post up with a few guys.
If the Opswing's top mid surely we've got enough people to just stand there to get the kill, but sadly, they cannot.
Sop gets a millionth opener in the midst of all the action.
Cross-Tali just gets a nice hunter's fury, cross-maps, sees the ping.
We're just contacting into an alloy.
So it wants to push up, ask for more, this might be a little risky, but hey, it's written on the label with that player.
You know what you're getting? That is a dirty little shock that gets the spike loose and will force JDG to play back into main.
Person to re-clear it. And Sok will get another one.
Krasalik is there not leaving. They're not getting out of this one alone.
No, they win that teamfight there on the ground.
Yup, they're just going to be happy to take that teamfight.
it is uniquely uncomfortable to turn around and look at the crowd right now
they are less impressed with this JDG showing unfortunately it's what they've
been conditioned to over the last few days they're desperately looking for a
sign of hope but JDG are they're not that not so far
Last round of the half. Please do your guard. Just one. Just one, Mitch. I'll do anything.
Please. He's not listening, Chief. Otherwise, these thousands in here would have invoked
some divine intervention by now. Just aside from the side of the map, Christali about
to confirm that. This is going to be pretty illuminating in terms of what is happening
else where. GDG are trying to contact back out mid again. Realistically the best attempt
around win was when they went for the B split. They just couldn't close that with the man
advantage. Couldn't trade them to cross solid. It was unfortunate. They've got to wait for
this crap to come back up. It has just now. That's the only way they're going to cross
past CT spawn without getting blown up by Sol. Now they have the Hunter's Fury but Berlin
is posted up in market that it could be a very awkward place to try to rip that one into sight from
some just plays back into the recon okay played some of the ready off also to hand
such a ball will be punishing to try and cross past despite the wall being down in spawn that
has just been more than enough time for foot to rotate over in here they've been able to teleport
past the wall okay well that's not the kind of silverware why you was hoping to pick up when
Nobody came to Shanghai, I wasn't!
12 rounds and Valorant have elapsed and JDG
have barely given us our whimper
We're at this point looking for signs of life
A peregrine of the pastures, hoping and praying
There's nothing organic
We'll be back after a quick break
The city of law becomes the city of thieves!
They plunder, they plulfur, and they persevere in Paris!
Your winners are going to be sports watchers!
And the winner is...
All right, Yeti-J.
The crowd is always an X-Factor in these global events,
and it's a special skill to, you know, work up a crowd.
You would know something about that.
So what do you think you can do to help Foot really win over this crowd?
Like, when we watched the last games that played,
the crowd was amazing, the people is crazy.
I hope they can support us as well.
And I can say...
Yiji Chayo.
Oh, he comes prepared. He comes prepared for this crowd.
The things keep heading this way this would be our second 13-0 in champions history.
And I don't want to see that.
I do not want to see that today.
JVG, you got this.
Please, the double centicombe.
We're now on defense again, you know, maybe starting attack on this map.
Not ideal.
I would love to see them lock up this pistol range.
Would you like?
Give me a damn round on the board.
So you'd like that, right?
You don't want to know?
A building around on the board.
Why would JDG then choose to start on attack on this map?
This is foot's mapping.
JDG had choice of side.
They wanted to attack first.
Just to keep us in suspense.
We'll leave that one for the philosophers
and focus on this round right in front of us.
in which JDG will begin to build the momentum.
There it is.
Well done from Joe.
He's had a couple opening kills.
They haven't materialized into anything significant yet,
but hopefully that can be the one.
Yep.
Certainly been one of the brightest spots here for JDG.
So there's a blaze wall used by Zeus
over towards A main early.
Maybe just to imply someone could have snuck into wine look at this JDG want to go for the walk down three players down mid
It's gonna be a huge fighting tiles. All right
JDG Jack Chris found some and no look at that. Yeah, that's a good
answers to the fight for his life
Eventually runs out of bullets JDG on the damn board
You think they won the whole thing?
A sense of major relief in the building on their faces.
On my face even. Thank you JDG.
I did not want to see a 13L.
And we are getting up.
Crowdfisher, stretch those legs chief.
Right.
So we're starting to approach a situation where we might consider taking this more seriously.
For now, JDG have much more to show.
I'm ready right now. I'm a believer.
That is a bit eager.
Right off the jump.
Freak on there.
Two players inside main spotted out.
And Jekyll is trying to play off the timing with his wall.
Eventually, sociable teases it out of him.
Very low board round for foots here.
No need to hurry in terms of causing out this game.
Why you want just tying his bloody shoelace out of the open there?
The big jolly nuts!
These are classics, man!
Oh, come on!
Stop! It's going to run you over!
Band around, patch it up!
Patch it up!
Fold it like a bloody lawn chair!
After winning the pistol!
Diabolical!
That is a heartbreaker. Let's see if JDG can rally back for their second map to pick. Time
for a full mental reset.
You deliver the Dominion stuff to Champion Shangai, how will you keep up the momentum going into Summit?
I just played like myself, I was confident.
Now I will play confident again and try to play like this again.
I don't even know what to say with that storyline that was absolutely incredible.
What has enabled the team to be so consistent this whole year and what do you think the
team needs to have that extra push to actually claim that pretty shiny trophy on there.
Yeah I mean thank you we have been trying to be consistent by leaving ourselves because like
we have the talent we have the individual performances we have been working really hard
throughout the full year but like every single event at the end of the event we somehow feel
heartbroken by becoming only the 13th and now we're gonna break it. Well keep
believing because you guys are looking amazing. Good luck.
It's a good day for feet fans out there.
It's a good, good day.
He's like, yes, exactly.
He's number one.
He's number one.
Now, this was an absolutely phenomenal play.
I can't believe they got the Odin out in round two.
They're pulling out Olds by round three.
It is absolutely spectacular watch,
but make their chance debut here.
But let's start at the very beginning of round one,
which is gonna be our Verizon High-B moment of the day.
I mean, this round sort of told you
what was gonna happen for the next 13, sorry, 14 rounds.
Crisali just dominates them with the sheriff.
And like you were saying,
based on the success of this round,
Kostali gets to buy in Odin in round two, get a few more kills in that one, and then by round
three he has the ultimate to win the bonus round and put Neverwick back after that.
I haven't seen an opener in the first three, four rounds first so that that well in a long
time. The 3K, sorry the 4K with the sheriff, Odin round two is already a lot and then round
three, I honestly find it difficult to find the words to say and I find it difficult to
you know it's definitely knowing the level of play that was required from the other side to allow this to happen. Yeah, I mean it's hard to really say anything and I think it feels worse obviously for the JDG players out there that came in and this is how they debut and honestly it felt different to the EDG game yesterday where yesterday it was a library when EDG lost but throughout this game it felt like an uncomfortable rumble the entire time.
time like people aren't happy they want to see more and you know that JDG wishes
that they could do more out on that stage for the fans. Yeah I mean we had a lot
of questions as well going into this from the usage of how they're using
these double senties choosing attack on the first half I mean we had a lot of
moments of us shaking our head but we got to give our flowers to both Sop and
Christali. Christali has continued he was phenomenal in London and he's
phenomenal again today on this very first map. This was otherworldly stuff.
Chris, we already saw this. We're gonna watch it one more time, you know, just how good these opening rounds were, but...
Run it back a third time! Yeah, let's see it one more time. Like, he's just in the same...
Round one! ...stop as well, like, got the early outlaw into his hands, just started carving, and Foot looks like they were
loose in having public. The amount of mid walks they went for, like, I've never seen a team play defense just
running down mid or even walking down mid as much as foot did, but they won every fight that came their way and the numbers are just frankly ridiculous
I don't want to take any credit away from foot. They really were so confident going into this
Their foot was on the gas and I think it does take a level
I do have to give them a level of credit because a lot of teams could go into this over thinking their advantage
But they had every right to be confident every right to have that arrogance of that if I mentioned before and it really showed on the
server and it's a little heartbreaking to see JDG not really put up much of a
fight. Extremely weird selection of the side considering their starting attack
when they have a double senty comp and it leaves me not having any level of
confidence going into this next map which is the map pick for JDG and it's a
map that they are historically not good at. Extremely strange scenes here in
Shanghai. Yeah I mean ultimately this was this is a map that didn't come down
there was no need to worry about macro or anything like that it was just
individual domination across the board from flood. I will say looking forward to summit. This has been a weaker map for floods and it is JDG's pick. That's that's the best I can do. Yeah, well, let's see if Coach Bile has anything better for us as we send it down to the stage of what Mika fabs.
I'm wondering what you were able to team to help prepare them for the upcoming Mac and help them recover.
I feel like we didn't really get to play our game. I think it was the nerves. They didn't look very warmed up and I reminded them how incredible of an opportunity Champions is.
So I told them, don't forget how special this is.
It's not like given, you need to really, really work for it
and be really enjoy the moment because it's special.
Here's hoping JDG has better luck in math too.
Thank you very much for your time.
I think that's all you can really do at this point
is just erase math one from your memory
as we go into Summit.
This is JDG's math pick.
We need to be ready for this.
And I can't really find it within me to make that argument
because we were talking about the possibility of a 13-0 in the first map here on Ascent.
But when we're thinking about Summit and we're looking at the historical record for JDG,
they were 13-0 earlier in Stage 2 of China on this map,
and they recently lost 13-1 in the grand finals to Tai Lu.
They need to dig deep.
Yeah, and honestly, I think the only thing to focus on here for JDG,
I wish a lot of their Summit, actually, because they played it so much coming into this tournament.
I'll give you the quick scouting report, something to be expecting heading into this.
On their attack side, this is a team that plays super heavily around mid control.
It's a team that loves to split-hit into sites.
They'll usually walk the four pack of players, either mid or into the mains,
and they'll let Berlin on the fade, sort of solo clear up with prowlers on his own.
So it sets them up to pinch into sites in a nice way.
It's something that obviously foot are going to be prepared for.
So finding that stack of four players or bullying Berlin when he is solo.
And then once JDG are actually able to get into post plans, I think they do really good work holding it down in the post plans.
We are seeing cop changes for them. By the way, that will certainly mix things up.
And honestly, I'm excited to see what J.K.Ril be doing on this wayline.
Yeah, from foot notably, they are pivoting away from the breach that they played recently.
I was a little worried because we saw how the breach panned out earlier for EDG at this tournament.
So I'm really happy to see that. And I think this look looks way better on foot now.
Yeah, I mean, ultimately I was I was excited to come into this map because
what's previous comp was looking rough.
Yeah, I think foot could be a whole different ball game.
But honestly, we haven't seen these teams playing these comps versus each other.
Let's go ahead and go for reset.
Let's see if JG can mentally come back from that brutal opening to the series.
Yeah, they absolutely need to.
And you know what that would explain a bit of their decision making on a cent.
Even with this comp, it looks like they weren't executing any protocol
that surely that must have been planned with that double sense.
And this is a completely different style.
This is way more in their real house.
I think, I think Jane and J.Curl look way more comfortable
on these agents.
I want to see them show up now.
Yeah, maybe JDG can bring this back
as we send it back to our castors, Uber and Wyatt.
The first map in this series was a head scratcher
and then it was a stomach turner.
It was quick and painful for JDG.
They picked out here is the map of Summit.
The bring us over here, showing us something a little,
There's a bit more in their wheelhouse, but sometimes traumatic experiences can change the personality wouldn't you agree?
Yeah, River newly emerged straight to G super fan that newly emerged. Yeah. No, I really do
with
All of my heart and soul desire for this team to turn the series around at this point
The crowd still gave them a very warm welcome. They went back up onto the stage. Hopefully walking back onto the stage
mentally refreshed
You're right off map one. Oops. You might have chosen the wrong side. My bad guys.
Let's lock the hell in on our map pick and make a game of this against foot.
And live up to the title of number two seed from the host country.
JTG himself the attack side here this time into the double dive duelist look.
J.Crow. It's gone over to the way leg.
Sure gets early eyes on So-Shi-Bullin. He doesn't leave that encounter unscathed.
Also, just on the comp front, I do love this change from foot.
I think the solo harder here can be really powerful in the hands of a great player.
Like from what we saw from Dang, for instance, but KDG quick into this B site.
Oh, and there it is.
There's that open and kill.
They can follow up off the space that J.K.
Curry has gone.
Yeah.
And even he goes after, stop.
It's a sharp shooting.
Not unlike the pistol round on Ascent.
The only round in this series so far, JettyG's been able to clinch.
So far, looks like they're going to double that total.
No need to get ahead of yourselves here.
Crownfisher can wait up amid the rafters.
That horn gives confirmation that Foot will be setting up to make their way through.
From defence side spawn.
And crowdfisher chooses his spot to emerge.
As soon as his tap blows here, one shot will do him in.
And so, Jay, did you get a group on out for this?
You get the job done.
That's exactly what I want to see.
That's exactly what I want to see.
Oh, Jay Kerr with some really nice space creation.
Finds the entry kill.
I like that he takes the time extends all the way out with that refractive he needed to go back
But no longer a JLG just wobbling up onto these corners right there able to play for some real pace
J crow can dive on in there
Joe can get crashed into some weird spots
and perhaps a sign of
of the tides turning, things kind of going in their favor
and a more esoteric sense as they just picked the right 50-50.
You don't walk into the game for a second, B.
It's just this free A site.
No, OK.
Why are you there, Kis?
That's what I want to see from Waiju.
Get his head back in the game.
Nothing like a bit of eco bash.
Get you feeling confident again.
Let's see what they can get.
Wouldn't mind a couple more kills to Berlin.
Or should I get those alts rolling?
Build something up.
And then the mid-chill drift will be shit.
Try to get that snowball created.
That is, I mean, just what was JDG's
on doing on that first map.
As soon as they won that bonus, got the off-on line.
It was critical.
The sixth man has entered the building.
Fans coming live to see JDG get off to a great start here and look good in doing so as well.
Nothing gimmicky, just some nice raw fudder then also a good build off of one pistol.
They have done a pretty solid job building towards a couple of optimists at this point, but more importantly than that,
they've retained their rifles in that round, don't suffer a lot of damage, so this bonus is going to have a lot of punch behind it.
Three full upgrades.
See if someone like Jekor can find another opening kill, playing the way, like having one of the rifles in his hands.
Continue to build on this momentum for JDG.
Footgold exploring deep on that A side early.
Realizing that, yeah, the skew is towards the big side of the map.
J-Crew's gonna get in on it.
Red play off the paranoia.
That's beautiful.
You don't know what, you didn't want it.
You didn't try on the outside this time, but K.E. just caught by J-Crew.
Five out!
Starting to run away with it here.
And Foot looks shell-shocked, a little unsure about how to curb his burst of momentum from
the Chinese squad.
And now they are back.
They just have to close this round out.
And it's on stop.
The crowd wants Jerko to get another so bad.
The crowd is crying for blood.
Stop!
About to do it!
And it's Jerko!
Gets his third of the rounds.
Six at a time.
That dash down mid-time perfectly with the paranoia, Zeus was just completely fried.
No options, no help.
I mean, if they weren't able to reset the mental backstage with the coaching staff, a couple
rounds like this they are right into their zone this is the pocket that they
need to be in this double duelist 2 over that hit it
looks like they're ready for the full regression of foot
Zeus exits that encounter with three so he definitely needs to
oh my god he was so flashed a lightning strike for the peak of our
Now Lippus from Zeus, and Aparim fails his P-Mouse!
Too close for comfort!
Round number four.
Impressive, but on the other hand, all that for what?
The economy for JDG.
It's already out of control because of the bonus round win, barely losing any of the guns into the bonus.
So, Charmed 4 kills, that's nice, only Adam Zoltz is stacking them up. That's good on the scoreboard. Impressive.
Ultimately, it is not a needle-moving 4K. JDG are still in a great spot.
Now that is a hungry crowd and one perhaps that is starting to believe they've got any
business standing on even footing with the rest of the world.
It's only the beginning.
With that CoinBoard's win condition,
shows JDG fall in a row and get some economic damage
in their previous round.
But like you said, why they are rolling,
they can afford some losses as long as it keeps them ahead
of the game.
Don't think Foot felt like they were going to have
to break a sweat today after that first map.
The fact that JDG picks Summit, now there are two and four on.
But looking like they've reinvented themselves with this comp switch with the time off
and they want to sync up these ultimates to absolutely destroy this B site.
But it's up in heaven with the armcatchers, a free one.
Stop hoping for yet another one.
Flash here, is this what's the fault? The issue there, boy!
He'll get his second...
Eventually brought down but not for good. That was a running back allowing Zeus to play
Swap in the face of JDG and all of a sudden
You could hear a pin drop in this room
That is a great bit of
re-aggression
Zeus ripping that all to fight into B main straight after swap gets that opener flash perfect connection the kind of
aggressive, confident, aggressive plays that foot will just activate on a dime.
If they have a sense for a timing for a moment to capitalize off of Util, rack up kills,
they are going to take it, never going to hesitate.
That was pretty wild though.
So, takes us out of the round, but Zeus legitimately solo flashed himself into three players, because
he can.
There aren't too many teams that are going to throw that kind of plan to you, and I don't blame JDG for not being ready for it.
Jeez!
That's just perfect, they did not expect that at all.
As per the fact that you see three guys get full blinded.
Yeah, I feel good Ryze if you squeamish.
Right, reminded of course of JDG's mortality.
Foot spins.
I'll run it back on that.
A lightly exchanged Phoenix ult for a round.
But still that bank account of JDG was full.
They get a huge buy off again, including the operator for sure.
So we'll see to what pace they slow the game down to.
Glam to find an opening.
Foot, eventually.
Oh, he just spotted the barrel. Just saw it.
Maybe not, I mean, I think we were a little baited by the point of ear to be honest.
Okay, maybe not, I mean, yeah, it's just gonna be flashed here.
That's what, man.
What?
Oh, that's so nice.
Look at this, you puggies!
It's marvelous!
A check row is just a demon on the way, man.
So now, it has to get it down the old-fashioned way, and one for the boys.
By the fast leg trying to get on it.
Not a Nerf Neon trying to jump. That's crazy. He is stalled out and cooked.
Foot down to two. Still outside of the plant.
J-Cro is now remediated to that aspect.
Hitter J is going to be forced out. That was a sidestep to paranoia.
Perhaps he'll get back in on a timing. Cranfisher won't expect as a result of that.
He's through, out the crowd, two easy, two easy, full audio, Crosshead, Remy and the
Re-Swing from Jack Hose is in out, sociable with no room to breathe, trying to get out
of the drop.
And just like that for the first round JDG there was a bit of pressure, big investment
economy starting to get low.
But they win this round in such stellar fashion,
the utile play towards mid.
It is just coming down to this checkroll.
Lele, the convergent pass, perfect.
Hard to tell honestly whether or not
it for sure this was an echo, and the POV was a little tougher.
Did we just seem to have won?
Did they know?
But hey, man, regardless, they caught him.
And then after that, the stun that
was thrown down onto Crisali, was perfect.
Two free kills.
All right, we got tech balls coming in here, player related.
We'll keep you apprised of the issue as we are in fourth.
Right ball back on the keyboard.
Right back in there.
Just yet, the Sticky, sugary caps.
Sticky, sugary, delicious and energizing keycaps.
Oh, yep, nice.
plus 1000 to the bank account for that Red Bull ad.
No show, bro.
We have a player requesting a different chair.
Something a little perhaps more support on the lumbar.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, I get it.
I mean, if it's something like Jake Rowe carrying
the hopes of an attire nation on your shoulders,
yeah, surely not exactly the most ergonomic experience.
What's it is that? Why are you crutching the old man he is? Asking for a change?
So what? Hit you guys with the help of the edge.
Is it going to be a completely different chair or is it just going to be another similar chair?
How many chairs do we have in the back that are really offering a higher comfort level?
Only the best? No. I mean, this is the peak.
A reclining issue.
I see.
I've got a bit why do you get a little motion going?
I think it's me. I think the correct use of these fantastic secret lectures is being demonstrated.
Plus one thousand. Not another perfect add.
While it's looking absolutely dense after this, tech pause, respect.
I mean again, there's plenty of bells and whistles on it.
So sometimes you do need to kind of give the Devo, run someone through, how to get the most out of the ball.
You have a hot swap of chairs,
Rick pits off the YU and will be back to the races in no time, I'm sure.
And this is something Jaded you want to keep going, building up a medal on the attack side.
The usual combos have been great, but honestly they've picked a duelist combo that allows it to play with a bit of pace.
Match the tempo that we saw before.
I mean, Brown, we were denied a seeing J. Crow
being able to play Valorant whatsoever
because it started on the damn attack side,
I'm saying voluntarily, and he was playing Deadlock.
He was just not able to play the game.
And now we are seeing what he is actually capable of.
Four rounds to the good, but a lot of work to still do.
The JDG are building some solid foundations for summons.
Ain't no getting a heck of a lot of attention right now.
JDG trying to confirm their foot aren't playing up close inside a code.
And they'll have to clear this pretty painstakingly.
In the meantime, Jett just hunting for some kind of over towards B.
As sociable actually lets that high tide wall rip, it's still over a minute on the clock.
Course does have the reckoning, so that's going to be a massive tool when it comes down to
some kind of retake situation, but not having the high tide available, it definitely could
come into play.
It feels like foot behind this athlete is just maintaining that uneasy status quo.
They haven't really pushed up on any other extremity, they're honestly just holding their initial positions.
There's a trip with...
Yeah, the two players can play off this, there's Jett and Jay there from tower!
Sombra gets involved!
JDG just don't come up with a compelling answer!
Midway through the round and so they just hit auto-planning over to this B-side!
That B-side just locked down by Yetsu-Jay, you could just see the pathing from him being perfect in that situation.
Up and having catches the first drops down perfect moment to get the info off the cam the ping swing for another second easy kill
It's all just executed
It's such a clean way
All that off one trip why that never got cleared in the end
There have really only been troubles towards this B side from JDG so far and it has come both times from having nothing to deny the
Sightline in heaven. It was soft the first time got a free off kill when we're coming in this time
Yes, who Jay free kill on to Jekyll dashing in and then from there falls apart
So solving this issue could be as simple as getting a smoke up there. We're really good. It could just be
That easy for them if they try to
So valuable that site sort of retake all of this. They're coming online for foot
nightfall reckoning
And we are starting to meander our way into Mip as the defenders.
Now we have gone to a worrying spot for the JDG economy as well.
Okay, Zeus is chasing us deep and they're not going to be aware of this.
There is a trick to watch the flank but Zeus can get entrenched in a nice spot.
No one to play off of him and if he's quick enough, you better find something out.
Bad Joe Spidey sent us a Tinkling wire.
Only way I could explain it.
Some top-tier game sense.
Still, JDG yet to get off the starter's block.
There's our cove.
More arresting G-Tour to slow this down.
JDG can afford to wait out a little longer,
Over the next 15 seconds they've got to go.
Paranoia, nightfall, straight off and recklessly over onto this.
He's going to slow things out, Jake Carreau.
Decay down, still going to take the fight.
Death as he is.
He still knows how to hold that trigger.
Sop's found one, looking to break back into this
A side of the map very quickly.
He's so deep, they can't be ready for this stop.
It's just playing on a different level.
Another hell of land, another kill.
Brilliant balance, it's a goal.
That was a must win round and in the face of a reckoning connecting on to Dan near the entire team JDG are still able to overrun that site and again it comes down.
to Jacob coming up with a crucial opening kill. The fact that he is able to
again connect a stun somehow onto sociable, his smart just swings around the corner.
Harvard gone, other anchors suddenly surrounded. The players that fore-hit by
that reckoning are back and able to play. What a closeout from Berlin.
Sallio'd in here.
Sallio gets big damage on Cherp!
Jesus, lucky to be alive!
Awkward for the Oru.
Sets up his escape plan, but that high tide is going to deny everything.
Sallio is...
More than willing to just throw these high tides out in the mid-round.
Very early, yeah.
Last time he made a little bit more sense to me because he still had the reckoning,
but now that's just a massive UTIL piece going on from later in the round.
Is he trying to funnel towards B main though?
Cause whether it is or not, that's kind of what's happening anyway.
So it gets out by a lot of UTIL but none of it affecting foot.
They are ready to take this push.
So I'm playing up close this climb because that heaven is smoked out.
This is the defensive adaptation for foot.
They're just hoping that you can catch a rotate over on that A side
but Zeus is not going to keep here anything.
Appelian's in, he's in there!
That's gone horribly wrong!
30 seconds left.
Crowdfisher.
JGG were just really hoping that there would be rotation strikes on the opposite side of the map
when that pressure was being applied B main when they showed all of that utility.
But Foot really didn't believe it. Zeus was still just talking about his position.
Entrenched in link did not move.
And so when an attempt of the late Rote came back from JDG,
So we're ready. Soos was ready.
I think even here on something that's quite interesting about these foot defense sides,
this harbour-util usage.
Solo harbour on this map, obviously very powerful.
These early high tides coming up, maybe to try and
trying to guide JDG to parts of the map.
We're foot art at best strongest at the time
out now being called by Coach Bile.
We heard from him in the break, said we didn't get to play
our game at all on a set.
We've definitely seen a lot more to get excited about here
from JDG, but foot art clamoring back into this map.
This map pool was, wasn't is so questionable from JDG
going into it.
But to see that they have put in this level
work on Summit. You understand why they picked into a map that they wore two and four on in the
stage. Fully expected them to take Lotus here. It has been a map that would have been willing to
play. An amount that they have not been good on with a one in five record. And it was JDG's best
map. That looks like a layup for them. But they've taken us to Summit instead. And then genuinely,
I thought at first they picked Ascent because I couldn't believe that they would have not started
on defense had it been picked by the other team.
And so to start this series, they shoot themselves in the foot,
but on this second map, they actually have a chance
because they are displaying right now
that they have really made the most of the time
that they have had off in the last month or so,
but they have made a lot of progress here.
Super thing to do out of this timeout,
feels like all of the troubles they've been having here though,
just been coming from that, beside, you know,
They were able to fight into main there. They get a lot of utility connecting, but yet to J's cage made it irrelevant
So then the rotate back to a just gets depleted
But it's been dealing with stop dealing with yet to J
There's been a nightmare over on being it could be another situation where that plays out
Sure has a flash
Is the prowler first to confirm
And Zuzzi's gonna be solo!
Crap, Fischer, TP's up in the tower!
And Funtz, a Dutch design on the B side of the back!
So she will try to find a way in, but cut off by a smoke!
How on earth is this the first time they're finding success on me?
I mean, I'm just talking about if they're losing the gun rounds there,
but with pistols, they've gotten into a winning position.
That's certainly a stick-to-landing, though.
And there's some gusty air on the way in.
J-Co backs out, tries to fight.
YetiJay is the better weapon.
Groundfish has been known to know this position.
What?
Charlie fights him on the rope.
But he's down to 2 HP. How relevant can he be in this situation?
Relevant enough now on a 2v1. Why are you trying to fight him?
Out of the way!
And that's why you...
With the Red Bull clutch!
Neither late nor early arriving exactly what he intends to.
clutch to well earned round number 10 for the Chinese squad
let's have a listen in JDG want to extend their lead off a miraculous eco round
You know, you don't.
Bonnie.
Fuck off!
Get out of there!
Come on.
Cranfisher.
Not content just to knock at the gates of Olympus and wait.
No, he broke the door down.
An insane swing off the side for Waiju, sets that 1-D1 up, and JDG have done it again.
Directing the crowd with these high-flying rescues late in the round.
Waiju is just determined to put that last map as performance that last round behind
him.
JDG off the clutch win, continue with the tempo.
combination again synced up into this B site which has shut down by some and
for us so fast to meet them here yeah but really want to get involved in this
fight Wyatt that's actually could be a bit of an issue why you gonna get that
didn't sign a side of Hages J crew thinking about a swing timing on this
high tide get a J waiting pinged out Berlin able to fight Zeus that he is
He's delightful for the defenders, why he doesn't care?
He's gonna stab his ground and fight!
Kostali has to know!
Sends a spike loose, and there he is!
Four-piece for the stabilizer of foot e-sports!
Chaos created by Sop and Zeus, it's Kostali
who harnesses his matches up as sick red ball clutch
to kick foot in this game, headed into the half.
The city of law becomes the city of thieves!
They plunder, they plulfur, and they persevere in Paris!
Now you will be up against foot again in another global tournament.
So we're wondering what, because foot looks a little bit different.
Of course, you have a very different squad as well.
How confident are you that you can get a win over foot once more?
So normally I don't celebrate first, I don't pop the champagne first, but this time I'm pretty confident into our team so I think I can 100% get that win.
Okay, I guess Berlin is popping the champagne early. Good luck to you.
More than just promising signs from JDG in the first half of Summit, win the pistol,
get off to a great start, but it's the way white they are winning these rounds and really
getting the crowd behind them.
The hard press to find out one person who believed that we would be at a point like
this in this series after map one.
I reinvigorated at JDG by looking to take over on Summit with a comp switch.
And J.Crow is just unchained getting off that deadlock and playing this way like...
But pressure on J.Crow here eventually.
He finds his crosshair where it needs to be. However, numbers with foot right now, they're going to continue to force the issue as Berlin is overwhelmed.
Feels like that fight was honestly just a couple inches away from going towards JDG.
All of that decay.
Why you and Jer create more magic?
When it's come down to the clutch situations, it's been pretty much all JDG,
but get to J2 clean on that angle.
They're just a high low set up between those two.
Hitter-Jan Krestali
All ways together out of the server
And here they secure that pistol for foot
You can see that just on the cam for a second that foot needed to stand up and get excited after map one
They are now feeling the need to bring the energy back to the team
Yeah, Jadajay very much. Investing in raising the spirits of his team. Because if you take
stock of things, there's still one map up, three rounds away, very doable, very reasonable.
I don't know what to do so they'd have to break a large number of hearts in this room.
Look at this, JDG set up to spring this trap swing out together.
Noia didn't quite catch him, but we're not fed.
The right side of the pincers still able to fire.
Crown fissure into the sinkhole.
Not mad at the idea from JDG.
Maybe if that paranoia gets a bit of a better connection.
Different story.
But in those close range brawls,
the footer is always going to benefit from having that in Zeus
Phoenix.
Again, we just see in those close quarters fights.
That is going to allow him to rack up free kills.
Just getting those curveballs around the corner.
Training you the right idea.
There was a paranoia fired off to try to give them the edge in the fight, but.
The middle panel that was swarming with foot players with good weapons.
So now the Turkish squad goes into a bonus.
Two Bulldogs and a Guardian.
Pivotal round in this game.
One where we'll find out if Foot can begin snowball on their own attack side,
or if JDG can stall them out, retain this lead.
What a...
Just...
Up he is, in no mainsland there!
Swings out into the open and summarily executed.
Foot just don't feel the need to accelerate off of that pick.
Pre-clear in towards mid, JDG, how aggressively do they want to fight through lint here?
Your answer I think, Sop is going to push the issue.
Relayball catches on, could saturate though, gives JDG bit of space, but meanwhile there's some activity over on the outside itself.
Zeus with the insert, now he's starting to push in a bit of pincers.
And Sop just wants it so bad, and he's getting punished for it, but Zeus on that flank is able to capitalize.
Sop goes down, but he creates a knock on the distraction.
But the other dualists on his team can fully capitalise off the moment.
Why? It's only to give up the bonus here.
We're back to the doldrums. They are going to be nervous.
But we've only lost one weapon with all of this.
Zeus and Inserter and A-Main and just find the perfect flank timing
to shut down that defence side presence.
And now what?
Dors shut. You can horn out, try and find something.
Berlin, and why you might need to save.
He's gonna go for it.
Insatiable will make him regret it.
Now JDG are going to experience the pain
that they are putting in that first half
in that they win the pistol, win the bonus.
The economy is out of control
and you're always fighting from behind.
It feels impossible to put the other team on an eco.
That's where JDG are going to be.
And there's the spray.
For eSports, a massive bonus round conversion.
And they've in a blink of an eye brought this game to within a single round.
We've already seen one JDG miracle on basically a pure eco.
Surely they can't repeat it, but if they somehow dig deep and find a way,
they can keep control of this game, otherwise foot are going to be in a commanding position despite it being a tie.
Just a stinging out for Berlin.
Good round for this weapon, that's for sure.
Stop playing into a potential push off that B-side, but JDG are playing very compact, very much, towards the middle of the map.
But in doing so, they give up this B-side almost entirely.
There.
What is Y-U to do?
He positions to get a little bit deeper into the side. No hurry, J.Crow is there, but a Cove is going to cut off the back side of the side itself, leaving only one way in.
J.Crow, his curiosity gets the better of him. Zeran, why you though, nice recovery, coming out of that connector spot.
Toshimu doesn't want to swing, there's still been no pipe yet. Joe needed to connect that.
Now JDG have their players here on the side, they're ready to fight for it, but Sop has the line.
the high time makes it hard though for him to help sociable so we rig around
the road in Tennessee lines of sup I for list for him on the cleanup defining
moment of that round really was the 1v1 the chair yet to Jay over in mid if he
connects that shot, recovers that rifle, JDG can do it.
This is good, this is good.
This is good, they say, as the game has now been brought back to parody.
JDG, you're off to such a good start in that first half.
Have a look at the ticket here in our Coinbase win condition.
It has been rough sailing for them here in the second.
as much as having the thousands in the crowd cheering for you every time you do something
right.
The silence of a four round drought with your backs up against the wall economically, losing
in the alt economy, it just adds to the difficulty of the situation.
It adds to the pressure that JDG are feeling.
but they were closing their grip on this game,
but Foot have fully rallied back at this point
and are effectively in the lead.
They're going to be able to consistently buy after buy,
and if JDG lose here, their backs will be broken.
And the attitude of our fans,
here in the venue has gone from expectation to desperation.
Over these last four days,
Keenly aware of the fact that China has not get left a mark at this global event.
JDG might be given them the best shot. Eight rounds is the most that any Chinese team has scored in any map so far.
They hope to build on that.
Footer wasting no time getting into this site. Run it back, not denied, but it is by this fam.
Archer doesn't connect, but YU does. Phantom through the smoke.
And one of the pivotal alts now removed.
3 players from JDG are here. They can try to fight this. Another good saturate.
J-Crow just connects them every single time.
Those things down, but no opportunity to follow up. So much of the sideline breaking.
You two there for foot, but Jeff finds a way.
That's nice. Commits down drop. Just enough time to still gate crash out.
And now a full retake. Can play out from JDG. Excuse me. And a 5 on 4.
YU's picked off early though. He just gets a little bit too ahead of himself.
J-Crow is in the side. Yenichai traded 4.
Zuzi is in drop. Got a chance to be a real nuisance there.
JDG so carefully making their way on the beat, ambling forward.
Some trepidation and he can't play them because Kostani is waiting on the court of a J-Cro.
Brave as he is!
Takes the Orydon Thread out of the equation.
Gives a solution. The fans can be happy with.
JDG have just dissected that site one at a time the pace slowed down but the
peaks were just perfect.
Jacob had a bead on that player tucked in the corner by the choke was so ready to
take that fight the whole time is spanning at him previous as soon as
he jiggles have to take that his drop is being watched. Take care of the swing
from there. It's just great fundamentals from JDG on that retake. They slow down and they
hold their nerve in that situation.
And for foot that round, Spective brute force. They just pushed in to beat through everything
at the site.
Now it's back to the drawing board.
It's like the most active part of the map will be a link for now.
Jerk pushed off the line by the flash.
Oh, he tries to get back on.
He's got to know that someone's going to be holding it.
Now he plays it smart right now.
I don't know how long he's here.
It is!
It is no time for a gate crash out.
He just gives into the temptation.
Two walls inside all of us, man.
I thought.
What a moment of punish.
Just that lack of composure from JDG.
Just take a look at the minimap.
Look at why you absolutely isolated while this split execute comes in towards B.
But J.Crow, this could be the ultimate assist to play.
Bring him catch there.
I think we left him going to pass.
Here's why you look into punishment.
Soft trade to that.
That's the overdrive.
Got to be refracted away here for J.Crow.
He's going to have to buy these time.
Meanwhile though, foot is going to get set up on B. Put their feet up, get comfortable.
The crowdfisher gets ahead of Soichival.
That's a kill, that's a reckoning out of the picture. Does it get better for crowdfisher
to bring this back into the three on three?
Berlin pressuring this flight, that's going to keep Yetsu Jake concerned the entire time
that this post plant plays out. What? Time has been ticking.
The three JDG players need to gather up and act quickly to get into this site.
It's like a 3D film. Both teams throwing them out.
Cross-Dali. I'd be able to hear a damn thing.
Here come JDG, ambling in to beat.
Get a jab on the court. There's going to be some fun in that.
Key of connection.
J-Kro is going to fight for his life in the open, but he's down to 12.
Stop's going to slink on away.
No need to take the challenge, and J-Kro will perish at the scene of the crime.
JDG close, but not close enough to take the rounds.
The time they're just working against them in all those moments, it felt like it was
right there.
The conversion pass from Jekker was fantastic, but it stopped, just stood out the way, has
the overdrive to get that tray.
I can imagine World of WIU is able to connect that transfer, get the second.
And that would have been insane.

defined by Zeus versus J.Crow.
The high impact kills that are consistently coming out for foot
are just straight up coming from the Phoenix over and over.
How many moments have there been where his flashes are perfectly
time to catch players, unspecting, not able to turn?
It's foot now in the lead.
It's JDG on the eco.
foot haven't really made too much of a move away from this eight main position
there's that high time see a lot of that in the first half now from sociable this
one is gonna cut why you off that mid info early easy actually no more get
here's but how much is it gleaned about the set up here for foot Zeus is gonna
Go for it flash straight through. It's gonna get the refract. You know shake from as close by it has the gun for the job
Decimates the tallest core of JDG
And it's not a damn thing they can do
Christali on the swing and that will tie it up
For these sports another big step towards a series win
Ultimately JDG
Just don't have their stopping power
in their kits this round to be able to hold Zeus back when he has to run it back when he's
Just barreling through that site
It's now or never for JDG they had everyone in this room believing they had me believing damn it
They could still make it happen, but it has to be here it has to be now
now. Planted to work with though. Dimensional drift here for sure. They've got that deep
info and they actually hoarded into AMA JDG. So they know who these words are for now.
It's that insert in mid of Yetejay. That could unravel the, there's a trip in the way and
J Crow is expecting company sooner rather than later. Does he think Yetejay will be
on this off fangle though. If he just exposes himself on this peak a little bit too far.
J.Cloy doesn't know. How close Yedajay really is. That's slow things down still. Fult might
be wanting to go to that A side of the map. Yedajay now getting a bit antsy. A bit impatient
perhaps. But if he goes to lead this spot he will be dead. Fult of trying to sell a little
bit towards A. There was a recleared the prowler there. This round could be defined by this
ridiculous standstill in mid.
Did it just, I think he saw it. Just the corner of J. Crow. Convinced. That is close. It's
around this very corner. Okay, action over North of East Side. Instead, those straight
through main, they come. J. Crow standing to attention. Decay down for a time by the
ready to fight. That's Crownfisher flanking him. Why are you has now fallen? That's
Gustavo J. Credetto. But there's no fighting fits. But into the sights. The
rest of foot have gotten. Njedej is here. The time is of the essence.
Sociable gets the spray down with the owner. There's got to be a plan. Njedej's
got to cover this. But he's not there. Berlin has a tighter angle. JDG convert the
He must win rounds!
Incredible shot from Jett.
Makes it all possible.
Well, the Neon is gone.
Well, the agent for foot that can make this base on the execute is removed.
You can just see them being stalled out.
How much of that site can they really take?
Get up towards DICE before they are being assaulted by JDG on the Rotate Inn.
Look at that foot economy. It is in a dire situation.
So the game plan has changed for the Turkish squad.
Three players up towards mid.
That last round kept JDG in the game. A win here gets them in prime position to close this map out.
Here's the trap set up. J. Crow waiting, but will he have enough backup?
He'll have to fall off this line surely and look why he's getting in position
It's tense that's the trip clear there's a saturate paranoia flash comes on in
Reload who's gonna buy a little bit of space the trap fails, but crap is just still able to find zoos elsewhere
And that's gonna fall foot away towards the A side of the map look at this girl in activating getting up towards a main foot
May not be aware
But the fight is lurking this part of the map that I see him, that's stuff he maps.
The Berlin just needs to live, he can't afford to go down there.
Just retaining that A main position would have been so critical later into a post plant.
It's tragic that he's removed.
JDG still have a chance, they still have the drift from Zer.
AWP of the hands is awkward, but the ult can absolutely make up for it.
And if J-pro finds a kill, maybe those convergent paths can be used as well.
He gets them with that trade.
So we'll take the one for one.
And look at this.
He could spot them out, and then the pass could come through.
Might get the double connection.
Oceumal in trouble.
Grave dangerous.
Shogun's up on the line.
But we have a straight crew.
Not there in time to capitalize on a convergent buff.
And he'll get a one for one.
It's why you're not able to clutch this time.
And Ft. are one away from a decisive 2-0 series.
That last fight may very well decide the map,
decide the series, why you that close.
And you just know Berlin is going to be head in hands,
wondering why did I peek?
Why couldn't I have just played with more patience?
JDG are cobbling together
whatever they can with the state of the economy.
They still have a night ball.
Show one for one.
AWP removed isn't terrible, but
JDG will take what they can get
Weak of weaponry question is if just rifle can be recovered by anyone
That would be huge if somehow why you could get over there
The blaze wall might allow for this and
Also, if JDG are happy to just give this site that will give an opportunity for him to give the gun it to get the gun excuse me
It's just be willing to take that exchange slowly the beat foot going
Hi tight and even the scream of are you what's that come to good use pretty bloody quickly?
J.Crow they're gonna be pressured here pressured and so committed his teammates are not here to help right now
Notful is gonna connect as well. Will they go after him? No, J.Crow's given a chance to get back to safety
So she will be tucked here on the side. Hi tight comes down
Berlin in position horn
Up into heaven with J.Crow. Nobody watching from drop here for foot.
JDG will be able to get out onto the side.
Pralice sees nothing. J.Crow gonna drop down. He's certainly made some noise.
Social water doesn't know where to be. Looking inside the code for the time being.
J.Crow gets in, finds one, wanna be ready for the second.
Here's Social Water Margers, Berlin, can't save it.
Shanghai, one of the Chinese victory.
Foot's answer is that the Batakis defiance, still mapless at champions and
footy sports show some real grit to get the job done in two.
That is an absolutely heartbreaking end for JDG who gave it their all on that
that map and it just comes down to a couple 1v1s.
They were on top in that first half.
They were winning the clutches,
but at the very end of the game,
they just couldn't close it out.
To the face of Ferd,
who's duelists were just in top two form
across both maps today.
That being said, this was an incredible showing
from J. Crow, the most impressive player
from any of the teams that we've seen from China so far.
The credit to Foot though, blowout on map one,
they get heavily tested on map two,
they are able to bring it back.
It's a solid performance from them.
But still, you are walking away from this feeling,
like they kind of gotta give me, like JDG,
total misfire on a cent,
starting on the attack side with a double cent,
and it'll come, finally the launch of time.
It feels like, yeah, this series could be so different.
or at least feel overall closer.
Maybe they just started on defense, but as it stands,
all of our Chinese teams are on the brink of elimination.
We're gonna head down to the stage for our Verizon post-match
interview.
Stop, stop, we need you.
OK, come on.
We have to talk about our last round on map one.
That was a full eco round and five classic.
The only the signature utility, how did you guys make it?
I mean, every time on Prax, I just tell YetuJay to just buy one cage and I'll make it work.
And every time and every single map, we're winning anti-eco with a one cage.
I'm just doing micro calls, like for example, I just said to him, like, go attack by drone and I just hit a 4k.
That's cool. I just asked him, what was the last part of the first map, the last combination, how did they do it?
He said that he would only buy a dragon if he was in the training camp.
He believed that he could do it.
So he used some small tools to cooperate with them.
He successfully got the kill.
Every time we think of him, we think of a player who is very confident in the game.
How should they answer them?
And all the time when we think about Saab,
when we think about you, we have the impression of,
you know, dashing forward, always being such confidence.
How did you make it?
Like, where is the confidence from?
I mean, I just don't really care.
You just don't really care.
I mean, I play, like, how I play ranked,
but sometimes, like, it's not really working
against good teams.
We saw that on EMA, and we saw that at London.
So I'm not still really making work, but I'm just trying to have fun.
If any player in your team will step out to give you a little bit of a pad talk or hype you up?
Yeah, they're giving me a tip.
And especially sociable.
Especially sociable? How will he do?
I mean, he's just, when I do a lot of like doing dash updraft and like crawling rounds,
he's telling me to like calm down and on a bad voice now, obviously.
And I respect him so much obviously, and I'm trying my best.
So he really improved a lot, he has grown a lot.
As a player, he has become more mature.
How would he look at his progress?
What's the reason behind that?
And we can tell you grew up a lot as a player from London to now.
So what is the biggest factor behind that progress?
I don't think I have like something pushed me to do better.
I just try to be more close with the fans, especially in China.
So I'm just trying to fix the before what happened in London abstractly be more close with them. That's all
Do you have any words to see in fans?
I say Ni Hao only this I know and shi shi
大家给Sopi点掌声好不好
他说其实作为一个选手他没有说有一个很特别的东西很特殊的东西一直推着他向前
But he feels that in London, he really needs to correct some things.
So he wants to be closer to everyone,
especially when it comes to the fans and the fans.
So I also hope that everyone can give the applause to Sao Pao, okay?
Thank you so much and have fun in your chance.
to be a part of this. What a
win for foot and I have to say
a little bit heartbreaking for
days, JDG because that came
really close on map to just
now joined by yet a J and
Bambino. Welcome and
congratulations on your first
here in Shanghai compared to the competition in London?
I mean, it's amazing.
The crowd is amazing as well.
Sometimes I'm always trying to say calm down to my teammates
because, of course, they're just all high because of the crowd.
But yeah, it's amazing.
It's nice to experience it here.
Yeah, I'm curious what practice has been like for you guys.
If there's been a good experience playing against the teams
coming in from all around the world,
and how much you picked up even just being here for a week or so at this point.
Yeah, I mean, we've been scrimming a lot of America's teams, so a lot of loud, a lot of G2A.
You're learning a lot of really good stuff from them.
Yeah, I mean, like those guys are just great practice, you know, they really play hard.
And I think it really just helps us level up, you know, because we had a bad time in Barcelona before we came here,
and we weren't sure. But then we got here and we were playing good opponents in track, playing well,
and I think we just got our confidence back.
Do you think the competition is harder, or maybe about the same compared to London?
The competition? I mean, I think this is champs, so everyone brings their absolute A-game.
And I think there's really no weak teams at this event, so you can't take any games for granted.
Well, coming from a high from map 1, going into map 2, JDG was collecting those rounds,
especially in the first half, and I want to know what you guys were discussing during that time out, that first time out.
I mean, I actually don't remember.
You went to Palagos.
I don't know what to say.
Instead of like, because after you play like such a dominant like map 1, right, like 13-1,
I think that it has to be hard to like reset and get back to normal,
because you guys at a certain point are just like running at them and shooting,
and then they come out of the gate really strong in the second map.
How do you adjust and get back to normal?
I was just thinking like, now we will have another easy map,
map and it will be over but I don't know how they managed it but they come back
stronger they always shoot us on the defense side for us and then after 5-1
or something in timeout social order will be up because of the results so we just
try to play better we just try to listen comes better and try to help each other
more because normally we were thinking it's gonna be easy because of that we
just starting to play like lazy. Yeah I'm wondering because I know you guys
changed your comp pretty drastically coming in to Summit. Did it shake your
confidence at all to be like losing those rounds from the get-go or is it
something that you felt strong in the whole way through? Actually we practiced
a lot about this comp so I wasn't thinking like it's really hard because
on the practice I saw it was so easy and I don't know the official
I don't think we're going to lose again on Summit, because we just have a really tight map pool, but now it's more better.
Yeah, I think for me, we've had really strong attack sides in this comp, and I think we kind of probably trusted that we could bring back on attack.
I think in a way it's a bit of a blessing and a curse when you get like a 13-1 map because you start underestimating your opponents
But at the same time it also gives you the confidence to know like okay, we're better
So I think when we started getting the rounds back on attack that was when we felt okay. We're better. We can fight them
We can do this and
Foot has been to many events before and you guys are famous of course for your Turkish aim
But I feel like you're gonna set it yourself that you guys have leveled up even at this tournament
I want to know what your thoughts are on your team's identity
and the identity you want moving forward in Champs.
It can't just be Turkish AIM, surely.
No, I mean, I think if you watch our games, like,
I hope you're seeing more than just Turkish AIM.
Yeah, we are.
I think we're a team that has a pretty strong identity
in the way that we approach the game
and the way that we want to play
and we can apply that across maps.
You know, I think we are an aggressive team
and we will fight, you don't get me wrong.
I'm not saying we're not aiming,
but I think we really found a way to channel,
like what really works for us and if we just bring that into this event we're going to do well.
If there was a way that you would describe your team I guess get a J like what would you define your
style as? It's hard to say. I don't know just furious people. Furious people? Yeah furious people.
I was like no we're sticking to Turkish A. It's catch on I think.
I
If I just had to really sum up just how we play yeah, yeah
I mean, I think we're aggressive, but we're not always fast
And on our attack sides. I think that's really like a big thing for us
I see people calling foot like a fast team and I don't always necessarily agree with that
We can change pace but I actually think we were slower than a lot of the traditional fast teams
But we're still aggressive if that makes sense. Yeah, would it be fair to call you like an explosive team?
Like you wait for your moment, but when it's time you will you'll strike. Yeah. Yeah
How would you make up J. Kuro actually on map 2? Did you have a clearly he gave you some problems?
Yeah, he was playing really well on the way there, you know, it was he was on the way there, right?
I'm yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, he's like watching Zeus out there for a while
But yeah, he gave us some problems, you know, and it's not something we see on the map that much
So we definitely had to do some live problem solving there, but yeah, I mean props to him. He was like, well
Yeah, it's pretty insane. I guess on our side, if he played something else, then maybe the result was something different.
Because his aim was so good when they attacked us.
Oh, that's a really interesting point. Yeah, there was something that we were marking on as well.
You know, your next opponent is going to be Big One.
Yeah.
How do you feel about that?
I feel good.
feel good. And then we're prepared for 100 fevs. Like when we saw these groups, we thought,
okay, 100 fevs of the team to beat, we've done a homework, and we're ready to go. You
know, they're the favorites. So we get to go back to our underdog mentality, which is
right where we want to be.
Were you able to catch? I know you guys are preparing for your game, but they like changed
up their comp on some of the towers. Was that a surprise to you?
Yeah, yeah, it was actually. But you know, like, I'm not too concerned. We played against
Sage Chamber stuff for four, so I'm ready to go.
Yeah, that's fine for me. NA team is always strong. I always like to play against them because they are also funny people.
Yeah, it's a really nice match.
Is there someone in particular on 100 Thieves that you think is funny or you're looking forward to playing against?
I guess Asuna. We played before like two times or something. One time I won, one time he won. Maybe two times he won, I don't know.
But he is the greatest player on the Thieves.
I respect him so much here.
Well, do you have any words for us in 100 Thieves?
Let's say farm, brothers. I will be there for you.
So wholesome. I love it.
Yeah, I love it. I love it.
All right, well, we also have...
Let's see all the brackets and how things stand right now.
Because this was the last match. I can't believe it.
We're already done with the opening week.
Yeah, we already got through the first phase.
And I think the second phase now is still the Chinese teams hoping for a map win.
when they really like they they turned on the heat. They almost started. Yeah. I really I really
thought they did just couldn't quite get that in the end. There's a ton of talent there trying
to bounce back here now that it's going to be elimination time. Oh definitely. Yes they will
have their second and final chance and I think it's going to be absolutely insane. At the crowd
you heard the crowd every single round and you guys managed to persevere through so we're going to
have a bit more of that. Now on Tuesday we're going to have a little break tomorrow on Tuesday
We're gonna have our first playoffs qualification matches. You have paper X versus G2 and Carmine core versus
NRG those are gonna be a big ones you guys want to give any your personal thoughts and early predictions. I mean
If I had to predict these games, I'm going paper X and KC. Okay, but
You know, I think KC is so good right now. They're so hot. I just don't see them losing and paper X G2 is a banger
But I'm gonna back the boys on paper X. I reckon okay far enough. I'm like over here like trying to root for America
Throw boat over to G2, but I get it. I'll go G2 energy. Why not? Yeah, let's let it rain
That's fair. That's right. I think G2 has a slight advantage in terms of
Being really chill is tournament for the first time ever. So I think it's really nice
Yeah, but that's that's it
That's the end of the very first opening week here in Champion Shanghai.
It's been an absolute delight.
Congratulations again, Benvino Yedajay.
Thank you for joining us and Ender as well.
