So I found a place that does autism assessments in adults, well, in children and adults.
And basically, they have you answer a bunch of questions online that took about an hour or two
to answer whole bunch of questions about you and your family and your social life and how
you perceive things and this, that and the other thing.
And then on the day of the actual testing, I was there for about four hours and she had
me do a bunch of puzzles, a lot of drawing things and reading things and remembering things
and repeating them back to her. A lot of things like that. So it felt like I was in school.
Also, nail reveal. Yes, aren't they cute? It just got them done yesterday.
So yes, the floating frog book. Yes. So there was the assessment isn't called anything because
there's multiple different assessments within the whole assessment. There's multiple different
things that are approved by like the board of watches about a fucking hell that all and it wasn't just autism they test for a lot of different things they do for

Autism OCD obsessive compulsive disorder and ADHD okay, so I really went into it not knowing what the hell to expect

she was like, okay, I'm going to list off some words
and then you're going to repeat back to me the ones
that she remember.

So she listed off like a long list.
It was like, train, bus, yellow, giraffe,

And then I had to, uh, and verbal.
And I had to repeat, which ones I remembered by the time that she was done saying,
and then she also asked me, she was like, this is going to sound silly,
but imagine I, today's my first day on Earth,
and I've never brushed my, I've never brushed my teeth before.
How would you explain, like say, say this,
as she was like, say right here is the toothbrush, right here is the toothpaste,
and like right here is the faucet.

And so like that was one that she had me do so it was a lot of that. So it was basically just a bunch of things like that for like four hours

noggin works. So here we are and this is my presentation that I made for all of you.

Well, allow me to explain.
I'm in the 96th percentile for panic.
Yeah, so that's really not good.
So that's really exciting stuff.
Yeah, so I'm in the 96th percentile.
96, 7, and it is 96 high or low.
So basically the percentile system works.
Say there's 100 people in a room, 100, just 100 people.
You put 100 people in the room.
I am more anxious than 96 of those people in that room.
Great, okay, so now that we're all in the same page.
Okay, so, we'll 95, then because I'm the 96,
so 95, yes, okay.

tile, elevated levels of worry, 83% tile. Overall anxiety is at a very high level, so something to keep in mind when reviewing scores.
Since I have been experiencing anxiety for so long,
I may not realize how intense it is
since my baseline has moved.
This is what she told me.
Okay, so now what is this mean?
And for OCD touch,
I showed some mild elevations for obsessions,
but none for compulsions.
Seems mostly to be related to rumination on prior interactions.
So the elevations that I have for obsessions are all me
ruminating on prior interactions, but that's it.
So that is basically that.
So it's mostly just me kind of like being anxious
about things that had happened in whatever,
but it's not anything that qualifies for being OCD.
I do not really, I don't have any compulsions necessarily.
Impulsions are basically like if I'm like, okay, if I don't do this like my mom's gonna die or like something really bad
It's gonna happen if I don't do this certainly kind of a thing so I don't have that so
So yeah, so I was not able to qualify as an OCD person
But here is some good news
My IQ is average my IQ is 99
and I am excelling in working memory.
But I was struggling with visual spatial.
So visual spatial is basically what this guy
on the screen here is doing when you are kind of
having to visually place things in certain places
and puzzles and things like that.
I did struggle a little bit on that aspect.
But the average IQ for people, my age ranges from 85 to 115,
from 85 to 115, but the overall average for 29 year old woman is in 97. So I'm at a 99. Yes, I'll
take it. Okay. Okay, I'm starting to stop it, stop it, stop it. So anyone in the past has called,
I bet anyone in the past has ever called me a stupid hoe or a stupid bitch. That's just
and bitch to you, Mr. So next.
The doctor also said,
over all suggests that compared to same age peers,
you and others around you believe you are managing your daily task slash internal experiences very well.
Thank you, doctor. So that was really nice to hear as well.
So that was something that was nice to hear.
So, yeah, so, uh, so great because my doctor did also talk to some other people in my life
to get a better insight on me as well, so, so yeah, so, um, she also told me that I am an HSP hot sexy person.
Okay, that's not what it actually means, so HSP explained.
HSP stands for highly sensitive person.
HSP people have a deeper cognitive processing of information,
high empathy, and increased emotional reactivity to stimuli,
affecting roughly to 15% to 20% of the population.
HSPs are often easily overwhelmed by bright lights,
loud noises, and crowded chaotic environments.
Being an HSP is not a disorder or a diagnosis, but rather an innate biologically-based trait.
It means that an HSP's central nervous system processing processes sensory information
and stimuli more deeply and intensely than those who are not highly sensitive.
While there can be challenges associated with being an HSP, such as increased susceptibility
to stress an anxiety and overwhelming environments.
There are also many strengths.
HSPs often make excellent friends, partners, and employees
due to their empathy, thoughtfulness, attention,
and detail and ability to connect deeply with others
and their surroundings.
Woohoo, hell yeah, man.
Hell yeah.
So that's pretty cool, I guess.
So there's you win some, you lose some.

But yeah, guys know it's so it's not autism, so for autism, there has to be so you can't that's the thing so this is a doctor you guys are not so this is a doctor you guys are not so
Basically, you can have traits and stuff that other people with autism might also have,
but they can fall in different realms.
So in my case, it falls in my anxiety realm.
So yes, so yes, a person with autism could also experience these things as well, but just
It's because I am somebody who gets overstimulated very easily, and all those things
does not necessarily mean that I am autistic because those were the only traits that I
was showing that it's far as anything on the autism spectrum.
Those were the only traits that I was showing.
So it was not correlating more with my anxiety and panic that I have always had.
if that makes sense.
So yes.
But when she had told me, I never heard about HSP before.
So again, it's not like HSP itself.
Is it like an official diagnosis or whatever?
But once I started looking into it,
I said, wow, this.
Look, I'll show you right here.
Wow, I resonate with most of these things.
Sensitivity to light and sounds,
Storles easily, sensitive to caffeine and medication,
difficulty with transitions and change, avoiding violence
and television and movies.
You worry about what other thing you feel overwhelmed
often. You cannot handle time pressure.
You are too hard on yourself when you fail.
You can't let go of things easily.
You can't handle change.
You avoid conflict, and you don't take criticism well.
Okay, so yeah.
So a lot of these things, maybe not every single one,
but I'd say probably about 90% of these.
Okay, yes, I am also feeling these things as well.
I am also feeling these things as well.
So I'm like, okay, so yes, now let's keep going.
So where do we go from here?
Continue to therapy, focusing more on trauma
processing therapy, EDMR,
somatic therapy, and more yoga,
And then continuing slash possibly upping my dosage of medication.
So yeah, so the EMDR was very highly suggested.
I was going to try starting that soon anyway,
but it was something that she also suggested as well.
So yeah, so, and the yoga wasn't she didn't prescribe me yoga,
but I told her that I liked to do yoga
and she was like, well that's good, you should do more of that.
and also look into some somatic therapy as well.
So she did not prescribe me yoga.
I told her I liked doing it and she said,
oh, that's something that you should keep up with
and maybe even do more of if you would like.
So yes, and I really do like yoga.
So yes.
But most importantly,
I am perfect to the way I am.
And even though it is hard dealing with these levels
of panic and anxiety, I am so grateful and blessed
to be able to feel things at all.
And I have resources and an amazing community
and family and friends and support system.
And I am remaining positive through it all.
So yes, when she told me all the stuff today on the call,
I was sad in a way where I was just like dang,
like my, and I hate even saying my anxiety,
like, because I don't want it related as something that is like attached to me, but like
the anxiety, the anxiety is just something that I have dealt with, of a great part of my life
if not a majority of my life, and at a level that most people are never going to have to
experience.
And it is hard, it is really freaking hard, and to hear that even like, you know, you
deal with it so much that you don't even know how high it might be.
I was like, dang, bro, crap.
We kind of made me a little upset because I do still struggle with a lot of things.

happen when I was younger, like I literally would act like it was the worst thing ever.
But, so yes, you could have autism and also be HSP. So that's the thing. So, no, I don't

Will allow me to explain.
I am in the 96th percentile for panic.
This was what it was told to me.
And I have high levels of panic, 96 percentile elevated levels of worry, 83rd percentile,
and overall anxiety is at a very high level, so something to keep in mind when reviewing the scores.
Since I have been experiencing anxiety for so long, I may not realize how intense it is
it is, since my baseline has moved.
Panic, apodisco.
For OCD testing, I showed some, I just like this picture.
I showed some mild elevation for obsessions, but none for compulsions.
So that was where I was not able to qualify as being somebody who was OCD,
because I do not have any of the compulsions that necessarily go with OCD.
Um, I just have some, uh, all the, maybe, of sessions,
anything that could have been a session related are mostly related to
roomenations of prior interactions.
So me kind of just like, um, replaying prior interactions in my head
and what I could have done differently and what I should have said
and what I should have done and whatever, whatever, because in the moment,
I always fucking say stupid shit and then I'm like, why the fuck did I,
why did that, why did that come out of my mouth?
Like, for a certain thing.
So yeah, anyway.
But here's some good news.
My IQ is average.
My IQ is 99, excelling and working memory.
But struggling with visual spatial, dang, mission is hard.
The average IQ for people my age ranges from 85 to 115, but the overall average for
29-year-old woman is 97. Great.
The doctor also said, over all suggests that compared to same age peers, you and others
around you believe that you are managing your daily task slash internal experiences very well.
Thank you, doctor. What is visual spatial? It's basically like she had me like putting
together like puzzle things based on like what she showed me a picture of and I was kind of
not doing it as quick as the other people would have done it maybe.
So yeah, was it necessarily struggling with it, but it was like my lowest score of all the things on the IQ test.

She also told me that I am an HSP, a sexy person.

HSP explained.
HSP stands for highly sensitive person.
This P people have a deeper cognitive processing of information, high empathy, and increased
emotional reactivity to stimuli, affecting roughly 15 to 20% of the population, HSPs are often
easily overwhelmed by bright lights, loud noises, and crowded chaotic environments.
Being an HSP is not a disorder or a diagnosis, but rather an innate, biologically-based
trait. It means that an HSP's central nervous system processes sensory information and stimuli
more deeply and intensely than those who are not highly sensitive. While there can be challenges
associated with being an HSP, such as increased susceptibility to stress and anxiety and overwhelming
environments, there are also many strengths. HSP's often make excellent friends, partners,
and employees due to their empathy, thoughtfulness, attention and detail, and ability to connect
deeply with others, and their surroundings, yay!
And, wow, I resonate with most of these things.
H.S.P.'s tend to experience the following features, sensitivity to light and sounds,
starly easily, sensitivity to caffeine and medications, difficult to transition and change,
avoid violence and television in movies.
Um, you worry about what others think, you feel overwhelmed often, you can't handle
time pressure. You are too hard on yourself when you fail. You can't let go of things easily.
You can't handle change. You avoid conflict and you don't take criticism well. So most of those things
I would say I resonate with, not all of them, but most of them. So yes. So where do we go from here?
Continued therapy, focusing more on trauma, processing therapy, EMDR, is it EMDR, isn't it EMDR,
not EDMR, EMDR anyway, take that wrong.
Somatic therapy and more yoga, I told her I do yoga and she was like you should do more
of that actually because it was going to help with the way your nervous system is, you
I'm not being so kuku bananas and then also continuous continuing and possibly up in my
dosage of medication but most importantly I am perfect away I am and even though it's
hard dealing with these levels of panic and anxiety I am so grateful and blessed to be
able to feel things at all. I have resources and an amazing community and family and
friends and a support system, and I am remaining positive through it all. Yes, and thank you so much for listening.

but I have so much fun and we stayed the entire time.
And yeah, I flew, this was last year, I flew last year for Thanksgiving.
That's the last time that I flew so, so I was really proud of the fact that I went to the
the hockey game. So there's just certain things that I am very,
A, enough away from my salad. So, um, yeah. So there's certain things that
I'm very proud of myself. And I want to continue to make sure that I'm
doing things somewhat consistently to not feel like I can't do things.
And that's how I know that a lot of this is all I might, well, I know that
it's all in my head. And I know that because your, your mind is so powerful
because a few years ago, there's certain things that I used to do completely
fucking fine and I'm like, damn, I was just out there doing that shit.
Like, so, and I was fine, so that's why I'm like, I know that it's just me getting
in my own freaking head, bro.
And the EFT tapping, yes, my therapist did tell me about that too, but there's certain
things.
I feel like I need to, like, my therapist gave me so much information, and then, like, if
I'm not doing it consistently, it's like at a site out of mind, and I have to go take that bite.
And I have to remember to implement these things.
I would diagnose these things, I was 16.
I sure don't have in panic attacks, and like not knowing what they were, why they were happening.
And then I was just on lexaprolic a very low dose of lexapro for a while.
And that was it.
I didn't have a therapist or anything.
I was just on low dose of lexapro and it worked.
Whether it was placebo or not, it worked well for me for quite some time.
And then it started to not work as well.
And then, yeah, so that's I go through phases.
