[00:00:00] Hey, here's your make-up man.
[00:00:02] Don't take a shot.
[00:00:07] No one's watching what you're saying.
[00:00:14] I need you now, I'm slipping.
[00:00:17] I need you now, I'm slipping.
[00:00:20] I need you now, I'm slipping.
[00:00:23] I need you now, I'm slipping.
[00:00:26] I need you now, I'm slipping.
[00:00:28] I think they want us to be gone, a simple spell
[00:00:32] Listen, now take a shot
[00:00:37] Now we can watch it for yourself and take a shot
[00:00:42] One, two, three
[00:00:44] Now to take a shot
[00:00:49] Now we can watch it for yourself and take a shot
[00:01:28] In the cold, your eyes can hear the cold
[00:01:35] You're wearing your disguise again and twice again
[00:01:40] And the vision can be seen
[00:01:43] And when the night falls, you begin to freeze
[00:01:50] And when the night falls, I can get received
[00:02:28] On the brink, forget everything you think
[00:02:36] And share that for your life, my friend
[00:02:41] Can't you believe?
[00:02:44] In a jail, I fear I am falling ill
[00:02:50] But I won't be the prize again
[00:02:54] And wise again, temper every face
[00:02:59] Fill in the night falls, you can get two streets
[00:03:06] Fill in the night falls, I can guarantee
[00:03:13] When you're good and quick, you're through the moment, set a peace fix
[00:03:19] But I'm all you need
[00:03:22] For those here on the beach
[00:03:27] It wasn't that far
[00:03:29] You can get your streaks
[00:03:33] It wasn't that far
[00:03:36] I can guarantee
[00:03:41] When you're cool and clear
[00:03:44] You've got the bomb and set it fixed
[00:03:47] But I'm all you need
[00:05:49] Ten o'conn, are we excited?
[00:06:07] Oh my god.
[00:06:12] Wow, you guys look beautiful.
[00:06:17] ourselves a round of applause.
[00:06:19] Oh my God.
[00:06:24] What a absolutely, incredibly special night tonight is for Tenno, for Envoys, for anyone
[00:06:31] who's a fan of Digital Extremes, it's officially the first day of TennoCon, day one.
[00:06:37] If you're watching at home, hello, hi Twitch chat, hi YouTube, wherever you are, around
[00:06:42] the world, everyone say hi.
[00:06:46] All right, I'm here just to kick things off, just a quick informational, get ourselves
[00:06:52] warmed up.
[00:06:54] Speaking of, you're watching at home, we do have Twitch drops live.
[00:06:57] I don't have my phone to see if we've broken the servers or if the drops are even working.
[00:07:02] Eximation point drops in chat if they are.
[00:07:04] I'm joking, don't do that, please.
[00:07:06] You're going to earn yourselves for watching the Verminia Cosplay Community Display by
[00:07:10] Lucky Goblin, as well as the singing Lotus Community Display by Cyan Fasad, and a built
[00:07:16] Forma, because he doesn't love Forma, am I right? Yeah, that's right. But of course if you're here
[00:07:23] with us today and you are not getting those drops, maybe you're not on your phone right now, please
[00:07:27] don't be on your phone. We will be emailing you with a code for these drops, so don't you worry,
[00:07:32] don't you fret. You're getting free things, okay? Free game, free things, yeah, yeah. That's right.
[00:07:39] That is right.
[00:07:41] All right, I only have five minutes up here, so I'm not going to talk for too long, but
[00:07:45] before we get to the more exciting part of your evening, I did want to take a moment
[00:07:48] just to shine some light on just one of our charities this evening, that with your support,
[00:07:54] we are able, Digital Streams is able to support them, and I'm sure a majority of you have
[00:07:59] heard the joke, but maybe it's not actually a joke, that we are a music studio that makes
[00:08:04] games on the side.
[00:08:05] Have you heard that joke?
[00:08:07] Yeah.
[00:08:08] That's right.
[00:08:09] That's right. But tonight I wanted to introduce you really quickly to one of our 2026 charities.
[00:08:15] Please give a very warm welcome to your narrative panel host Corey and Sean Earl from Systema Toronto.
[00:08:27] Hello. It's beautiful tonight. It's hard to see. I know the lights are so bright. Sean thanks for
[00:08:33] being here with us tonight. Thank you for having me. Can you tell us a little bit about Systema
[00:08:37] Toronto? Certainly. Systema Toronto is an after school free music education and
[00:08:43] social development program for underserved school students and underserved
[00:08:48] school communities throughout Toronto. We're in four different areas of Toronto
[00:08:52] and we provide all of our program at no cost including a free snack at the
[00:08:57] beginning of the day of our program because you can't do anything when you're
[00:09:00] Really? That's right.
[00:09:02] We have no angry children.
[00:09:03] No angry children.
[00:09:04] No angry children.
[00:09:05] Never. Never.
[00:09:06] Could you maybe tell us a little bit about what happens on the ground level, maybe a student
[00:09:10] success story, something like that?
[00:09:12] Certainly. So we run our program, as I said, four days a week, ten hours, four days a week,
[00:09:17] ten hours total in the week. And there's so many student success stories that we have,
[00:09:22] but the one that comes top of mind because it just happened is our end of term concerts.
[00:09:27] We just had our end-of-term concert, and particularly our students in our Skis Carver location.
[00:09:34] The seniors they played, they played an incredibly difficult piece, and they played it so, so
[00:09:39] well.
[00:09:40] But here's the thing, they didn't know they played it well until their whole community
[00:09:45] jumped to their feet, and we're just, at standing ovation, everyone was screaming.
[00:09:50] It was so, so exciting.
[00:09:52] And to see the look on their faces that, wow, this hard work really paid off, and the confidence
[00:09:59] that they walked away with.
[00:10:00] That's the social development part of our program, where we keep using music as a tool
[00:10:05] to teach skills like empathy, communication.
[00:10:09] I can rattle along about this forever, but that's the one that comes to mind for me right
[00:10:14] now.
[00:10:15] We're so proud of creating new musicians that will hopefully be on stage with us in future
[00:10:20] Tenno concerts.
[00:10:21] But, as you know, many Tenno cons, we've been so fortunate and lucky to announce a donation
[00:10:27] to a cherry.
[00:10:28] And so tonight we're so thrilled to be announcing a $100,000 donation to the System of Toronto.
[00:10:34] All thanks to you Tenno.
[00:10:35] Thank you so much.
[00:10:36] Thank you.
[00:10:37] All right.
[00:10:38] We're going to keep on keeping on.
[00:10:39] Thank you for you.
[00:10:40] Thank you.
[00:10:41] Thank you so much, John.
[00:10:42] Thank you so much.
[00:10:43] Thank you. Thank you so much, Sean. Give a round of applause for Cory and Sean, everyone.
[00:10:54] Don't eat just have a drop. All right, okay, Ten of Con Day One, officially about to begin.
[00:11:01] Someone is about to win $10,000 Canadian. Canadian, don't cheer too loud.
[00:11:08] No, I'm joking. It's a lot of money. It's a lot of money. And soon, your ears and your
[00:11:13] eyes, because I don't know if you can see what's happening on the floor here, something
[00:11:17] mysterious, you're going to experience a world premiere tenno concert experience.
[00:11:24] Rue, put it on screen. No, I'm joking. I'm joking. Are we ready?
[00:11:28] I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Are we ready? Please give a roaring applause to your cosplay
[00:11:38] host Taylor in Veronica!
[00:11:42] Woo!
[00:11:58] Hello everyone!
[00:12:01] You all look incredible. If I could see you, I know it in my heart and being, but you know who really looks incredible?
[00:12:10] The Tenno and Envoys. I have waiting for you backstage. This is our TennoCon Cosplay Contest, and boy, is it going to be a good one?
[00:12:21] Now, I know they're very eager to get out here, so I don't want to dilly-dally any longer than I have to, so let's just kind of get on with it, Ronnie.
[00:12:29] Yes, we're live from the Canada Lifeplace,
[00:12:31] broadcasting to thousands all across the globe.
[00:12:35] I'm Ronnie, and I'm Taylor.
[00:12:37] And the Cosplay Contest is so back, we never left.
[00:12:41] We are gonna start off with introducing our judges.
[00:12:44] Judges, please join us on stage.
[00:12:48] Oh.
[00:12:50] Amazing, our first judge is a Warframe community icon.
[00:12:54] Well known for her Valkyr Grax cosplay,
[00:12:57] all the way from France, with nothing on her back,
[00:13:00] her luggage is in Germany, it's a boreal key.
[00:13:05] Hi!
[00:13:06] Hi!
[00:13:06] Hi!
[00:13:12] Thank you for joining us.
[00:13:13] What does your shirt say, sorry?
[00:13:15] This would be where I put my costume
[00:13:17] if it wasn't stuck in Germany.
[00:13:22] You know, we're so happy to have you on our list.
[00:13:25] If you don't mind taking your seat, please.
[00:13:27] Thank you.
[00:13:28] Next.
[00:13:30] We have none other than Michael Skyers,
[00:13:32] the principal character artist here at Warframe.
[00:13:35] If you love, Jade.
[00:13:37] If you love, Korra, Evara, and everything else.
[00:13:45] Yeah, let's give it up!
[00:13:47] Thank you so much for being here.
[00:13:53] You might recognize our next judge
[00:13:55] as last year's first place cosplay winner.
[00:13:59] This year you'll catch them on the show floor as Rose.
[00:14:02] I present to you Blink.
[00:14:04] So good to have you back.
[00:14:14] Yes, and last but certainly not least,
[00:14:17] if you are a cosplay fan, you've been here before.
[00:14:19] Hoku Props is back, bringing Leon a lard to life.
[00:14:24] And they've also made a beautiful,
[00:14:26] let's take a moment, take a moment.
[00:14:29] Stunning!
[00:14:31] Yeah!
[00:14:32] Yeah!
[00:14:32] Yeah!
[00:14:38] Are you guys having a good time?
[00:14:40] Are you excited?
[00:14:42] That's right.
[00:14:44] Thank you.
[00:14:45] For this contest, we have two categories of cosplayers,
[00:14:49] non-competitive and competitive.
[00:14:51] We'll start off with our non-competitive showcase.
[00:14:53] These folks are here to show off their craft and are eligible for bonus prizes that we'll
[00:14:57] cover at the end of the show.
[00:14:59] All right, we do have to make some room for them to take some of their stage, and perhaps
[00:15:05] some music to set the mood.
[00:15:07] My show, if you please.
[00:15:11] Our first non-competitive cosplayer is Reed O'Brownickie showing off their soaker ephemera.
[00:15:19] chat whispers of a fish merchant who once caught 84 large morts in 50 minutes. This is Reed's first cosplay as a fish ephemera.
[00:15:33] Love those gloves. Thank you Reed. Next we have Cody B as Albrecht and Trotty. This is his first ever cosplay and of course we had to bring Albrecht to life. Give it up for Reed that Cody!
[00:15:49] Our next cosplayer is LSD in their Drifter Goth outfit.
[00:16:04] Watch from the shadows or dance with the dead with these gothic inspired garments.
[00:16:08] for the Drifter and the Operator.
[00:16:10] Next, we have Caver as the Faye Empress Elora from Soul Frame.
[00:16:26] This is their first ever cosplay, which they made with Fabric home wire 3D printing,
[00:16:36] and I'm sure a little bit of same magic on top of it.
[00:16:44] Next up, let's welcome to the stage David as a Tauron Academy student.
[00:16:50] David taught himself how to sew for this cosplay.
[00:16:56] He's most proud of the curved and unique shapes on the suit jacket.
[00:17:00] Next we have Cytospace as a folly proto-frame.
[00:17:10] Oh, fueled by Will Power and Lexapro.
[00:17:15] This folly is made with EVI foam and velcro.
[00:17:18] This is her first-ever cosplay and her arm is decorated with doodles from telephone attendees.
[00:17:25] What a charm, man.
[00:17:32] Next up, we have Sarah, Raven Victoria Cosplay as Titania Donan.
[00:17:40] This cosplay features a bodysuit with 3D printed elements on top and microcontrollers within.
[00:17:48] Sarah is most proud of the helmet, acrylic glass wings, and prop weapons.
[00:18:00] Next, we have Dark Hood, the Plague Artist, as the Skrull Grant.
[00:18:06] Big thanks to Maddie for helping with this cosplay.
[00:18:09] This is their own original character, a secret Skulldra unit that scavenges for the resources the Skulldra needs.
[00:18:18] He did it.
[00:18:25] Next up, we have Kisa Mingo as street fashion drifter.
[00:18:40] Kisa brings a fashion color drifter to the stage with all thrifted materials and handmade
[00:18:45] accessories for a duvery, Nezha inspired look.
[00:18:48] Keep the shoes, handmade beading, and de-a-dem.
[00:18:56] Next, we have Kevin Lades with Muppet Ornus.
[00:19:00] This puppet builder asks the important question,
[00:19:03] what if Ornus was a Muppet?
[00:19:10] For charity, we did not give Ornus a mic
[00:19:13] because he had some very inappropriate things to say.
[00:19:28] Next, we have Slicer, a drifter, Knight of La Catedral.
[00:19:36] What if the drifter became a member of La Catedral
[00:19:39] as a holy knight, working alongside
[00:19:42] Leon and Marie.
[00:19:44] Thank you so much.
[00:20:01] Our next cosplayer is the High Priest of Pineapples, as Father Leon Alain.
[00:20:08] They started this cosplay the second they got home from 10 upon last year they're especially
[00:20:16] proud of the eye patch decorative beads on the gloves which are made by a close friend
[00:20:20] Next up, we have Ryn as Lucenia.
[00:20:33] This is Ryn's first time working with foam.
[00:20:36] Fun fact, they also learned Lucenia's aria since they're also a soprano.
[00:20:48] Let's welcome to the stage Saratina and Kody Yoshida as Bruna Prime and an Oracan.
[00:21:00] As soon as Bruna Prime was announced, Saratina had to show off the dog Catwalk.
[00:21:07] That said, the Oracan had to have someone in charge of watching the wolf mother, so the seven put this fool in charge.
[00:21:18] Next up, Zoas as her drifter with a noodle trunk.
[00:21:28] This noodle trunk handle is made from a water gun, found on grand.
[00:21:40] Shout out to her dad for helping with the lights and wiring.
[00:21:44] Next up we have Chara Bunny as a foley proto frame.
[00:21:53] Everything is handsome and handmade.
[00:22:10] Next up we have Olive as Temple Prime.
[00:22:14] Temple Prime's entire design was a layer of love for pleather vinyl, fabric paint, a dream, and lots of studs.
[00:22:27] And last but not least, we have Toasty Tea Leaf with Lizzie!
[00:22:38] This is a collaboration between Toasty Tea Leaf, their father, their partner, and their friends.
[00:22:49] They use the bass guitar kit at the starting point, switch the next to preserve Lizzie's original disso silhouette,
[00:22:55] and reconfigured the entire set up so she remained playable!
[00:23:02] We couldn't get her played on stage today, but ToastyTilly does have plenty of videos on social media if you want to check it out!
[00:23:08] Thank you!
[00:23:11] Alright, that's it for our non-competitive showcase! How loud can the stadium get for our non-competitive cosplayers?
[00:23:19] Give it up! Thank you so much everyone!
[00:23:25] Wow, oh my god. It's time to move on to our competitive cosplay showcase now.
[00:23:34] These folks are competing for the grand prize of $10,000 Canadian dollars.
[00:23:40] Ooh, not to brag, but we've actually already seen these cosplayers up close and personal
[00:23:48] during pre-judging today.
[00:23:50] Spoiler alert, they're all incredible.
[00:23:55] Our cosplayers have already been scored on their craftsmanship and their character resemblance
[00:24:01] scores, so now we get to enjoy them as they compete for their performance scores.
[00:24:06] All righty. Are we ready to start the show?
[00:24:09] All righty. Let's get on with it.
[00:24:18] Starting with Teya as your really prime.
[00:24:36] Chariot!
[00:24:38] Chariot!
[00:24:40] Chariot!
[00:24:42] Chariot!
[00:24:43] How can I make you feel like you're a chariot?
[00:24:47] You can try to find another place to live,
[00:24:50] but you can't do that.
[00:24:52] Chariot!
[00:24:54] Chariot!
[00:24:56] Chariot!
[00:24:57] Chariot!
[00:24:59] Chariot!
[00:25:01] Chariot!
[00:25:03] Chariot!
[00:25:05] Come join us over here, friends.
[00:25:22] Oh my goodness.
[00:25:25] You captured your release floaty elements so perfectly.
[00:25:29] How did you do it?
[00:25:31] a mixture of EVA foam and upholstery foam covered in over 500 pieces of fabric sewn together
[00:25:39] to really give that fluid movement. It is unreal. Marilena is hiding in there, I'm sure. Thank you
[00:25:45] so much, Pea. Next up, let's welcome to the stage Prime Explorer as Folly.
[00:26:31] How are you doing, it's so good to see you again.
[00:26:38] I'm doing wonderful, thank you.
[00:26:41] You have just such a charismatic energy on the stage, like I think everybody here can feel it, so thank you so much for joining us.
[00:26:47] Of course.
[00:26:48] Tell me what made you want to cosplay as Bully?
[00:26:51] So, Bully is a plus sign warframe, obviously, and I could...
[00:26:55] I am fell in love with her immediately when I saw her, and I just saw myself immediately
[00:27:05] in her.
[00:27:06] It felt like the perfect warframe to cosplay for me.
[00:27:11] You've captured her perfectly.
[00:27:12] Thank you so much.
[00:27:13] Thank you for bringing her to life.
[00:27:14] Give it up for Private Explorer!
[00:27:15] And I give it up for Private Explorer!
[00:27:23] Next up we have Galaxy as Valkyr heirloom.
[00:27:45] Hi, Galaxy.
[00:27:49] I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't on this card, but I hear this is your first time doing
[00:27:53] Cosplay.
[00:27:54] Yes, definitely.
[00:27:55] Do you want to tell me a little bit about your process here?
[00:28:00] Do you want to tell me a little bit about your process?
[00:28:03] Yes.
[00:28:04] So, I just want to say, first off, if you ever think about doing Cosplay, just do it.
[00:28:12] Don't ever let your spirits dictate what you do with your life.
[00:28:19] I'm scared right now, but I'm here.
[00:28:23] Me too.
[00:28:27] That's pretty much it.
[00:28:30] And don't let anyone tell you what to do with yourself.
[00:28:34] Thank you so much!
[00:28:36] Thank you, Galaxy.
[00:28:42] Next we have Eli as the Drifter.
[00:29:12] Hello!
[00:29:14] Wow.
[00:29:15] Could you share with us how did you go about gathering the materials for your cosplay?
[00:29:19] I thrifted everything that I'm wearing right now.
[00:29:27] I think the director would have thrifted all their stuff too, to be honest,
[00:29:30] to give in what they went through at a certain time of the play.
[00:29:33] Yeah.
[00:29:34] Yeah, this was actually someone's duvet sheet that I got.
[00:29:39] So, I'm sorry to whoever cannot have sheets tonight, but they're for me.
[00:29:45] But yeah, this is my second cosplay ever and I'm so happy to be here right now.
[00:29:51] And so is everyone as they say.
[00:29:57] Thank you.
[00:29:58] Well, thank you so much, Eli.
[00:29:59] The crowd's loving it.
[00:30:00] I know it.
[00:30:01] I'm hearing it.
[00:30:02] Next up, we have Idol on Outpost as Wild Tetherin.
[00:30:07] Hi, Adam and I first.
[00:30:32] This is phenomenal.
[00:30:34] What is your cosplay made out of?
[00:30:36] Last year, it's all EVA foam and some leftover leather for my manic cosplay last year.
[00:30:44] You look absolutely wonderful.
[00:30:46] This spirit of avocado lives within you.
[00:30:48] Thank you so much.
[00:30:57] Next we have Luxe as Leon Alau.
[00:31:19] Hello, welcome to the stage. Thank you for joining us.
[00:31:22] We have some like Spider-Man meme definitely going on backstage here.
[00:31:26] you're looking so good. Can you tell us a little bit about your cosplay?
[00:31:31] So I made this all by hand. The embroidery on it is hand done. I carved all of the pieces
[00:31:41] by hand out of foam or clay and it was an adventure.
[00:31:47] Actually, will you show the audience your back?
[00:31:50] Yeah.
[00:31:51] Thank you so much for joining us.
[00:31:58] Anything else you'd like to share?
[00:32:00] I think I'm good.
[00:32:02] That's about it.
[00:32:04] Back to silence for Leon.
[00:32:06] Thank you so much.
[00:32:11] Next up, we have Honey and Hamlock and Calypso Barone
[00:32:14] Barone as Jillian and Lillian Killian.
[00:32:33] The stage presence! This is good!
[00:32:36] I don't think they're allowed to threaten them for fun, it's just so unclear.
[00:32:45] Let's face the stage, let everyone see how beautiful you all look.
[00:32:52] Perfect.
[00:32:53] Tell us about your cosplay.
[00:32:54] Oh, it was easy, we just had to do the same three things five times, like for President
[00:32:59] King Corgi.
[00:33:00] We sewed cloth to cloth, cloth to foam, cloth to creed, shorn.
[00:33:14] And then repeat, repeat, repeat, and repeat.
[00:33:18] Just like unlocking the secret level and calibric too, is what you're saying?
[00:33:22] Do the same thing over and over again?
[00:33:25] It's beautiful.
[00:33:26] Thank you so much.
[00:33:27] Next up, we have Diana Smith as Anibara Protoframe.
[00:33:57] Hi Diana. So tell us how are you handling the heat in London?
[00:34:10] I was told I would be going up north in the cold.
[00:34:17] Hello.
[00:34:18] I overprepared. This is damn right tropical. But my frogs love it.
[00:34:25] What frogs?
[00:34:26] What frogs?
[00:34:27] Oh!
[00:34:28] Okay, give her the prize.
[00:34:32] Thank you so much!
[00:34:37] Next, we have Gwen the Nerd as Adis Truthbloom.
[00:34:52] me
[00:35:22] All I have, all I have
[00:35:27] For the new day, day, and night
[00:35:32] For the new year, shall be missed in time
[00:35:37] On that far shore, where they have been
[00:35:41] There above, there above, at our side
[00:35:46] To the heart he wants to find
[00:35:51] Don't show them
[00:35:58] Hi, Glyn
[00:36:01] Tell me what you learned from making this cosplay.
[00:36:04] I learned a lot of things.
[00:36:08] I am not a lot of
[00:36:12] Experience, is that the word?
[00:36:16] I learned hot glue is magic. I learned
[00:36:20] and procrastination is not.
[00:36:23] And I learned that even if you reach a large obstacle,
[00:36:35] or many large obstacles, or you think nothing is going right,
[00:36:40] you can still make it here.
[00:36:43] And you did.
[00:36:44] Thank you so much, Claire.
[00:36:46] Next up to the cosplay stage we have Mercury as Marie Le Roux.
[00:37:16] Let's look at the shoes, correct.
[00:37:26] So please tell us how was the process of making this cosplay?
[00:37:29] Yeah, so I was really excited to get to do something outside of my comfort zone.
[00:37:34] I've really not done a lot of armor work or prop work, so getting to do, you know, all
[00:37:38] the little bobbles and shiny things was really, really fun.
[00:37:41] And I really valued getting to work with my fellow Tenno to be able to, you know, remember
[00:37:47] that Warframe is about community at the end of the day.
[00:37:49] So, really excited to be here and thank you for the warm welcome.
[00:37:52] Very well said.
[00:37:54] I see some embroidery on the inside of your skirt.
[00:37:57] Did you want to share about that?
[00:37:59] Yeah, absolutely.
[00:38:00] So, this is my first time doing embroidery.
[00:38:02] I really wanted to capture the shifting, shimmering colors of her veil and her hip panels.
[00:38:08] So I was able to use a shimmery purple thread on some bronze organza to create a really nice contrast and hopefully it looks really shimmery on camera.
[00:38:18] Thank you so much. Really, really beautiful work.
[00:38:24] Next we have Draco Silva as Enero's Prime.
[00:39:08] Hi. Tell me about your cosplay.
[00:39:20] Should I just take this off?
[00:39:25] Whatever works for you.
[00:39:27] Phase reveal?
[00:39:28] Phase reveal!
[00:39:29] All right.
[00:39:30] All right, so it took my girlfriends and I about two weeks.
[00:39:42] We could have started months earlier, but we didn't.
[00:39:48] It's got gold leaf on it.
[00:39:49] It's probably my favorite part, but it was also the hardest part to work with, so I don't
[00:39:56] think I'll ever do that again.
[00:39:59] And then just EVA foam, glue, lots of glue, um, yeah, that's about it, honestly.
[00:40:07] Any sand in there?
[00:40:08] I'm sorry?
[00:40:10] Any sand in there?
[00:40:12] Uh, yeah, actually, my boots are completely full.
[00:40:16] Well, thank you so much, Dragos.
[00:40:22] Thank you.
[00:40:24] Next up, let's give it up for Gubby Car as Bout here, heirloom.
[00:41:24] So, Gaby Carr, I hear this is your first ever cosplay.
[00:41:40] Tell us what the process looks like.
[00:41:42] So I did a lot of 3D printing here.
[00:41:44] This is the very first thing that I've ever 3D modeled this helmet.
[00:41:48] I learned a lot and then I used a lot of thrifted materials, all the leather.
[00:41:53] and then I glued fabric on for all the pink parts,
[00:41:56] and yeah, it was a lot of work and a lot of fun.
[00:41:59] It sure paid off.
[00:42:01] Thank you.
[00:42:02] I was wondering, could you show the audience
[00:42:03] your claws again?
[00:42:05] Sorry.
[00:42:05] That was so awesome.
[00:42:08] Yeah.
[00:42:10] Yeah.
[00:42:11] Yeah.
[00:42:13] Thank you.
[00:42:14] Thank you so much for joining us.
[00:42:15] Next, we have Traz as Velomir.
[00:42:45] You can't beat us
[00:42:49] In the cold
[00:42:51] Your eyes, you can't look cold
[00:42:55] You got to look at the stars
[00:42:57] You can't look right again
[00:43:00] The vision every said
[00:43:03] Come to the left course
[00:43:06] You begin to-
[00:43:07] Got something to get with us over here?
[00:43:10] Come to the left course
[00:43:12] I can get from C.
[00:43:18] Why are you cool with this, baby?
[00:43:20] You're from the moment you leave.
[00:43:27] Hi, Bella Mere!
[00:43:30] Tell us about the process of making your cosplay.
[00:43:33] To put it quite frankly,
[00:43:35] I started making it.
[00:43:37] How to break down?
[00:43:38] Bon appetit.
[00:43:42] I'm sure there's some beers involved in the process there as well, you know. Yeah, you know a lot of little uh
[00:43:48] You know, we got a cool-off moment. So kinds of chill times
[00:43:51] Trying my best to keep my cool
[00:43:54] Didn't Minerva hop at all or was she judging you from the sidelines? Don't tell her I'm here
[00:44:03] Thank you so much
[00:44:05] Next, let's hear it for Elle the Sparkle Queen as Radiant Lotus.
[00:45:05] Oh, I'm doing this over here. You are seriously giving mother. It's amazing. Yes.
[00:45:23] It's so good in the lighting. We knew it would and it's I don't know how much the cameras can get in but it's like stunning each piece we saw in prejudging.
[00:45:34] she did herself. I was wondering, can you just tell us about the embroidery and the
[00:45:39] beading? It's just a work of art. Absolutely, thanks so much. So when I started
[00:45:44] this costume, I thought to myself, 10-0, there's been a change of plans. Leave
[00:45:48] nothing unbeaded. So each panel of the 13 panels gets individually framed out on
[00:45:56] a beading frame, and then hand couched on some metallic cord under all the
[00:46:01] style lines, filled in one by one. We do thing a tamper hook to do all of the beadwork. And
[00:46:09] each panel took about 40-80 hours to complete. A full-time job. Well, thank you so much.
[00:46:18] And thank you for bringing space home to the Tenor Front stage if you can't be here this
[00:46:23] It means a lot to see you. Yeah, thank you so much.
[00:46:33] Next we have Ace as Octavia Proto Frame.
[00:47:23] Oh my gosh, these speakers are so cool.
[00:47:46] Tell me all about them.
[00:47:48] Yeah, so they're fully functioning speakers.
[00:47:50] They're hooked up to an amp on my back and play a CD that is currently on my arm
[00:47:55] So I burned a bunch of CDs of different kinds of music
[00:47:57] I would play some for you, but it seems like I ran out a little bit of energy at last moment
[00:48:05] For those who don't know what CDs are they're used to playing music
[00:48:11] This is absolutely beautiful like all of the little band lobe like stickers. Oh chef's kiss. I can picture it
[00:48:17] I had so good. Thank you so much
[00:48:19] And our last competitive cosplay for the evening is Ender Fighter and Diamond Sniper
[00:48:32] as Grendel Tervis and Gau Smoto.
[00:49:05] The boys, the besties, come join us over here.
[00:49:12] Hey, do you want to face the state?
[00:49:20] You want to turn it a little bit?
[00:49:22] There we go, so we can see.
[00:49:24] Oh, hell yeah.
[00:49:26] So tell us a little bit about your cosplays.
[00:49:29] Yeah, so we had only 45.
[00:49:33] We can see this at the end of our college.
[00:49:37] And so we only had 45 days to make what you're wearing.
[00:49:42] Out of PLA Plus, EVA foam, crap tons of spray paint,
[00:49:47] and filler primer, and some other foam board, and cry cut,
[00:49:53] and acrylic paint.
[00:49:56] Our 45-day Cosmic Process, I hope acts of testament to that, if you can put your mind
[00:50:12] to it, you can do anything.
[00:50:14] Oh yeah, we love that.
[00:50:17] Thank you guys so much.
[00:50:19] Okay, first bump for me please, I need to see it, they can't hear me, and that's okay.
[00:50:25] my heart they did it. Thank you guys so much! So inspirational. Who's been so inspirational
[00:50:33] this evening? I always think that I'll have the best things to say, honestly. Oh my goodness,
[00:50:39] that's it for our competitive entrance. Okay, let's give them all another round of applause!
[00:50:53] Now, the hard part, picking a winner.
[00:50:57] Glad I don't have to do that, let me tell you.
[00:51:00] So our lovely judges are gonna be heading backstage
[00:51:03] just for a moment to deliberate
[00:51:06] and talk about everything that we've seen right now.
[00:51:10] While we wait, I have an extra special guest
[00:51:13] that our on voice especially might recognize,
[00:51:17] Verminia.
[00:51:17] Yeah.
[00:51:18] I can hear you.
[00:51:24] Hello.
[00:51:25] Hi.
[00:51:26] Oh, such tiny blue marshmallows.
[00:51:27] You can smell your aura from here.
[00:51:29] Such shoes.
[00:51:30] See me tomorrow with my floppy.
[00:51:31] We will give you a tip or two.
[00:51:32] We'll see you tomorrow.
[00:51:33] Bye.
[00:51:34] Bye.
[00:51:35] Bye.
[00:51:36] Bye.
[00:51:37] Bye.
[00:51:38] Bye.
[00:51:39] Bye.
[00:51:40] Bye.
[00:51:41] Bye.
[00:51:42] Bye.
[00:51:43] Bye.
[00:51:44] We will give you a tip or two, or three.
[00:51:48] Mm.
[00:51:49] Yeah, right.
[00:51:51] For those unfamiliar, why this woman is talking about what you're smelling like, the witch
[00:51:57] verminia is the groomer of hues in soul frame, the master of fashion, basically the taste
[00:52:04] maker.
[00:52:05] So, while you're here, I wanted to ask you, what do you think of my outfit?
[00:52:10] It is how you say creative.
[00:52:15] She thinks I'm creative, guys.
[00:52:19] Can you believe it?
[00:52:23] All right.
[00:52:24] As you mentioned earlier, our judges have some incredible
[00:52:27] cosplays that they all weren't able to show up on stage.
[00:52:32] So we actually have some wonderful trailers that we're going to
[00:52:35] show you while we wait.
[00:52:37] So let's just take a moment to admire all of their hard work while they work even harder backstage, picking who won.
[00:52:44] Okay, thanks! Bye!
[00:53:07] I am the witch verminia of the witch.
[00:53:25] I am Sister Marie Lourou, ordained of soul, sworn to Lua, and the
[00:53:33] And learn some taste, this time.
[00:53:48] I am Sister Marie-Laureux, ordained of soul, sworn to Lua, and bearer of the Holy Fire.
[00:54:33] I'm not gonna let you go.
[00:54:43] There is much work to be done.
[00:54:48] What do you think was the devil for the demons?
[00:54:52] When hell is a lie spun by man?
[00:55:34] Now!
[00:55:49] I'm gonna leave you alone until selfish.
[00:55:59] Markson's gonna kill you.
[00:56:03] The agony of the night's darkest dawns.
[00:56:07] No one comes to bring us home.
[00:56:13] And if you say this here, there is a certainty.
[00:56:21] The response is strongest here.
[00:56:24] I can feel the voices pressing against my mind, yearning to be free.
[00:56:33] Hey Tenno, the judges backstage are now determining the top three competitive cosplayers on three
[00:56:54] evenly scored categories.
[00:56:57] The first category is Character Resemblance.
[00:57:00] Our judges are looking at how much the cosplay resembles their Warframe or SoulFirm counterpart.
[00:57:04] We're looking at the accuracy, attention to detail and creativity when bringing these
[00:57:08] virtual characters to life.
[00:57:10] The second category is craftsmanship.
[00:57:12] We're looking at how the cosplay was made, including the overall build quality, variety
[00:57:17] of techniques and complexity.
[00:57:19] Craftsmanship was scored earlier today during pre-judging.
[00:57:22] Judges and cosplayers met one-on-one to get a closer look and hear more details about
[00:57:26] the crafting process.
[00:57:28] Everything is key to understanding the effort, creativity and time behind every cosplay.
[00:57:33] The third category is Presentation.
[00:57:37] This one's all about stage presence.
[00:57:39] Scored from the runway performance just now, our judges are looking at how will the cosplayer
[00:57:43] embodied their character on stage.
[00:57:46] These three scores combined will decide our competitive cosplay winners.
[00:57:49] And remember, what you see on stage or on screen might be a little different than what
[00:57:53] the judges are catching up close.
[00:57:55] Our competitive cosplayers are competing for the top three cash prizes.
[00:58:00] Our third place winner will be going home with 2,000 Canadian dollars.
[00:58:04] The second place with three grand and our first place cosplayer will take the grand
[00:58:08] prize of 10,000 Canadian dollars.
[00:58:11] Yes!
[00:58:12] You don't have it in here.
[00:59:12] And we're back!
[00:59:22] Are you guys having a good time?
[00:59:25] I'm having a good time!
[00:59:27] It feels so good in here!
[00:59:31] All of our cosplayers seriously should be so proud that it was so hard.
[00:59:36] That's much of this next minute.
[00:59:38] You make us really proud.
[00:59:40] You show up authentically, genuinely.
[00:59:42] You really are the heart and soul of our community and our game.
[00:59:46] So seriously, thank you so much.
[00:59:47] We could not be more grateful.
[00:59:50] Let's start with our bonus prizes, which
[00:59:52] all of our contestants are eligible for.
[00:59:54] Winners will receive a medal made by Hoku Props
[00:59:57] and some digital goodies.
[01:00:00] All righty.
[01:00:01] I'm going to be announcing the first prize, which
[01:00:03] is bombastic performance.
[01:00:06] This is for those who truly embodied the play part
[01:00:09] of cosplay and the winner is Ace Octavia.
[01:00:19] It's the party of your lifetime.
[01:00:23] Oh my goodness.
[01:00:25] So, the person did an incredible job of becoming the character.
[01:00:39] The moment they showed up on stage, the stage was just theirs.
[01:00:42] And I think it's just amazing.
[01:00:45] Congratulations.
[01:00:46] Next, we have... what is this?
[01:00:58] Let's watch me drop it.
[01:01:01] I swear, Solaris Craftmanship.
[01:01:04] And the winner is...
[01:01:07] Evara!
[01:01:10] I believe she's backstage.
[01:01:15] Here she is!
[01:01:21] This costume had a really wide use of different crafting techniques, all of which were executed at a very high level. Congratulations!
[01:01:36] Thank you!
[01:01:45] Next we have Ostrone Ingenuity.
[01:01:49] Perfect.
[01:01:53] Thank you.
[01:01:54] Thank you.
[01:01:55] Very beautiful.
[01:01:56] The Ostrone Ingenuity Award goes to
[01:01:59] Creative Use of Materials and Interpretation of Subject Matter.
[01:02:02] Going to Foley.
[01:02:05] Which one?
[01:02:07] Which one?
[01:02:08] Is it our competitive Foley?
[01:02:10] There's three Fondies.
[01:02:12] Let's take it with our wig, competitive, falling with the wig.
[01:02:19] I think she might be also backstage.
[01:02:22] Yes!
[01:02:23] Practice work!
[01:02:24] I'll give it to our boreal here to explain a little.
[01:02:33] So this is such a good interpretation of the character as a proto-friend, you have the
[01:02:38] the shape everything is here and the way you did the inky dropping is so good it
[01:02:45] really moves like it should so congratulations
[01:02:52] but no we're just gonna go that way thank you
[01:02:57] We have Orokin Gold. This goes to an outstanding cosplay in the non-competitive category.
[01:03:10] And the winner is... The Fae Queen!
[01:03:15] So this cut, like I cannot believe that this is their first time making a cosplay, like
[01:03:27] it is phenomenal, like the stage presence, and as soon as they walked on stage it was
[01:03:32] just amazing.
[01:03:33] They also changed their cosplay at the last minute, so I am 100% sure there is magic involved.
[01:03:39] Yeah, I'm pretty sure.
[01:03:40] It's a magic hat to have been involved.
[01:03:43] Congratulations.
[01:03:44] All righty, and our final award for our bonus category is Lotuses or Avacot's Choice.
[01:04:00] It's Lotuses Choice!
[01:04:01] Lotuses as a favorite and it is Ender Fighter and Diamond Striker with Gwendo and Gauss.
[01:04:09] Here they are.
[01:04:16] Absolutely incredible.
[01:04:20] We'll find a way for them to share it.
[01:04:24] They're best friends.
[01:04:26] It'll be great.
[01:04:28] Awesome.
[01:04:31] So we gave this award to you guys because this stage presence,
[01:04:37] You guys came out as the troop airing and just the work in making these very detailed
[01:04:44] Warframe deluxe is just really impressive and the fact that there's a movement around it's just like bringing it to real life
[01:04:51] Congratulations
[01:04:55] Congratulations, we're just gonna get you to go this over here. Thank you so much
[01:05:00] Let's keep it going for our bonus prize winners!
[01:05:07] You can be louder than that!
[01:05:09] Thank you!
[01:05:14] Oh wait, sorry, what was that?
[01:05:17] It seems, uh, oh my god there's a big bonus prize, I'm sorry I missed that.
[01:05:22] The only thing it says on the card is,
[01:05:24] Dia? Dia, if you'll drown us on stage?
[01:05:30] See ya!
[01:05:32] I see you!
[01:05:34] See ya!
[01:05:36] I'm trying to stop Stanis!
[01:05:38] Get in the car!
[01:05:40] She's coming!
[01:05:50] That's okay, that's okay.
[01:05:52] I'm coming!
[01:05:58] That's okay, that's okay.
[01:06:06] I'm...
[01:06:09] I'm...
[01:06:13] I'm the love.
[01:06:14] Where are you?
[01:06:16] I need to keep this short.
[01:06:19] I need to keep on schedule.
[01:06:22] Excuse me, ma'am.
[01:06:29] Huh?
[01:06:38] During the most mundane things with you,
[01:06:40] it's the most enjoyable thing that you can do with each day.
[01:06:44] Running my future was never as fun without you and I.
[01:06:47] Each day that I am in the field, I strive to be a better person, and I salute you this

[02:18:49] No, it's not your fault
[02:18:51] Come on, come on
[02:18:53] Sink, sink, and sink
[02:18:55] Feel no one's in
[02:18:57] So, sink, and sink
[02:18:59] No one's in
[02:19:01] And sink, and sink
[02:19:03] No one's in

[02:19:09] Come on, come on
[02:19:11] Come on, come on
[02:19:13] Come on, come on
[02:19:15] Come on, come on
[02:19:17] I don't know what's gonna get you, so I can't listen to that.
[02:19:24] You're not gonna come to me, and you're not gonna come to me.
[02:19:31] I've been missing so hard to understand.
[02:19:37] You're not gonna see me, so I can't hear you.
[02:19:44] So I can't believe it's so hard to stand
[02:19:50] So I can't escape from the pain
[02:19:56] The pain changes now, you know
[02:20:02] So keep going, don't stop anymore
[02:21:08] SILENCE
[02:21:10] SILENCE
[02:21:38] Best of five, best of one,
[02:21:44] makes the world a better place.
[02:21:49] All I can, I'm about to fight
[02:21:53] for the passion you know.
[02:21:58] All I've got, I've got, I've got, I've got, I've got.
[02:22:33] Oh
[02:23:33] I am not allowed to lie to her
[02:23:39] Sleep with her, it's way too hard
[02:23:44] Sleep with her, it's the night she's sad
[02:23:49] But for the partial who knows
[02:23:53] All around, all around
[02:23:58] Oh, the fields in the sky
[02:24:03] Oh, the fields shall face the tide
[02:24:08] Oh, the bush full of bones
[02:24:11] Oh, the garden of life
[02:24:17] Oh, the grass in the sky
[02:24:22] Oh, the fields of heaven
[02:24:26] I'll show you how I love you
[02:24:32] I'll show you how I love you
[02:32:26] They call it time, time, and time
[02:32:35] Time, time, and time
[02:32:41] It is the time
[02:32:46] The time is coming
[02:48:20] Okay, amazing.
[02:48:29] So we've come to the point where this would be the part of the show where we would leave
[02:48:34] the stage and you would clap and we'd come back out and do one final song.
[02:48:39] But there's too many of us to do that, so we're just going to sit here for about 20
[02:48:44] seconds, and then do the last one.
[02:48:47] Is that okay?
[02:48:49] Alright, we've got one more for you, and what a better fitting song than this is what you
[02:49:18] tomorrow.
[02:54:48] CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
