Last night I got in touch with subtle subtle is a prop paladin expert
you guys told me to chat with him about prop pally theory crafting turns out he
has a complete guide to prop paladin okay so I read this last night and a lot of
really good information in here. There's a lot of very, very good information in here.
One of the big things I noticed and I talked to him about that shocked me is that you always
use judgment of righteousness. So I asked him, when do you use seal of vengeance? And he
He told me, un-keybind it.
Don't even press it.
So there it is guys, there it is.
You un-keybind Seal of Righteousness straight from subtle himself.
He talks about it in here a bit more.
Seal of Vengeance is more trouble than it's worth.
it's a tiny DPS increase on average to weave or to twist SOV and SOR if played perfectly.
But in practice, your SOV stacks will constantly fall off and it's common for it to be a loss.
So that's the more technical answer is that most of the time you're probably going to
lose DPS doing it.
So it's just not worth it.

So anyway, that's kind of good to know.
The next thing is, I talked to him about builds, right?
By the way, seal twisting for Prott, like generally not worth it either, but we kind
of already knew that.
Greater Blessing Stam, we kind of already knew being uncritable.
So we're going for 5.4% reduced crit chance in Heroics and 5.6% reduced crit chance in
raids so that is 485 defense and heroics and 490 in raids that's good info to have
more info here's like a table and a chart explaining how it works with resilience okay talents

Sanctiora build, right? Or I guess, oh, I thought it was Sanctuary aura, Sanctiora.

ret in your group, you can do the Sanctiora build for a raid. If you have no
ret in your group but you want more stamina, you can put in more stamina
here. If you have a ret in your group and you want more threat, you can do this.
And if you have a ret in your group and you want more AOE threat with less single target,
you can go this. So it's like super interesting how many builds there really are.

Shadow Labs, one from Caverns of Time for normal dungeons, assuming we don't get in
the heroics until a bit later today.
So I think a couple steam vaults are in order, a couple shattered hulls are in order, a couple
Shadow Labs are in order, grind the rut, grind the gear.

So this build is the Sanctiora build.
There's only a couple points different.
This one is the Avenger Shield build.
The Avenger Shield build gets
two less points in melee crit but two more points in reckoning and then you
have one swap out sanctity aura for a venture shield that's literally it so
if we're gonna do a little notepad for this it is for the sanctity how do you
spell this thing sink sanctity aura build and then you have the adventures
build. For Sanctity Aura, you're gonna get minus Devotion Aura Armor, right? You're gonna lose
out on 861 armor, which is, I think, pretty notable to say, minus 861 armor. Just doing a little
theory crafting here. You're going to lose two points in a reckoning, which I think is
a little bit more valuable than 2% melee crit, because it's just your melee weapon. You're
going to gain 2% melee crit, and you're going to obviously gain plus 10% holy damage, which
which is like pretty good, right?
Like that's the whole reason you're kind of doing it.
With the Avengers build, it's just the inverse of this.
You're gonna lose the 10% holy damage.
You're going to lose the 2% melee crit.
But you're going to gain two points in reckoning,
just the exact opposite of what we just typed.
And you're gonna gain plus 800 armor for Divaora.
You're also, I guess I didn't say,
You're going to gain the utility of a ranged pull slash slow,
like a vent or shield pulling, right?

The thing about a vendor shield that I kind of like
is this. It dazes mobs on the way in for six seconds. Think about this in a practical sense.
Mobs are dazed in the running towards you. While they're running towards you dazed,
a warlock could dot up. A hunter could start damage. It's free damage as the mobs are running in
that aren't hitting you your life is staying full and your group gets free
damage because you already have good snap threat on the mobs pre dots
hunter's marks or whatever like you can start hitting them on the way in right
that's kind of what I like about it like it's very practical you know do I get
noticed all in public no not too much few times a year max unless I'm at like
convention. Mages don't use blizzards. I don't know. It sounds to me you're leaning towards
adventures. What I like about adventures is I can do my own polls. I feel like it's kind of,
okay, what I don't like about adventures, like what I don't like about Sanctity Aura, I think is
two things. One, I need someone else to pull for me or I need to just body pull, which is kind
kind of annoying.
And two, I have to tell my group to go easy
on threat on the pole.
I have to say, hey guys, can you give me a second for threat?
That's annoying.
Like, I don't want to be that tank.
I want to be able to just send a shield
and it's like, try to pull off me, bro.

As of 4-0-3, and possibly a little before, Avenger Shield no longer hits CC targets.
This means you can safely fire into a group of mobs where a rogue is stabbed to mages,
polymorph, etc., without fear of hitting them. Essentially, it's become a smart pull.
I'm only hit non-CC targets. Edit for clarity. Of course, don't actually fire it at a CC target
because it would break it, but I mean it's no longer bounce attarius.

a lot recently because I was thinking why is it that heroics feel so hard but mythics
on retail they are hard but you can still do like bigger polls even a high-end mythics
and it's like you do a double pull in a heroic and you usually are gonna die it's like what's
different and I was thinking about it what's different is the abilities that retail players
have access to. Monks AoE leg sweep, shock wave, AoE stuns, AoE knockups, AoE AoE, like AoE
knockup from a mage, AoE stun from a monk, are you kidding me? That's the big difference.
It's the abilities. It's not that they don't get hit hard, it's that they can negate all
the damage. Right? That's gotta be a lot of it.

good is that against like a boss? It's probably more like farming right? Probably
like very average against like even in heroics because you're only getting hit
by like two or three mobs at a time.

there from a quest. We got Continuum Blade from Reveread. We got Andormu's
tier from a quest we got flush bees from a quest and we got this from revered so
basically we are full questing gear man
