Good morning, Shaft.
Good morning chat and happy Wednesday, Thursday, Thursday, Thursday, September 10th, guys this
is the final stream pre BlizzCon, the final stream pre BlizzCon flying out tomorrow morning
early so today's stream is actually going to be a bit shorter too, final stream pre
blue scone. It is here, guys. It is here. Basically, holy crap. I'm so excited. What
color t-shirt for blue scone? I'll probably wear this exact t-shirt at blue scone. This
is going to be a black tee, of course. It might be brown, depending on how I'm feeling.
I'll probably pack like two black tees, two brown tees, just pick one for the day and
kind of send it. I'm going to be streaming at blue scone. Yeah.
Stream from blizzcon possible. That's the plan. That's the plan
The exact dates and times and this and that I'll try to let you guys know in discord
But yeah, the plan is me and greet at blizzcon streams from blizzcon

Brand new classic HD moment just dropped. Ooh, we can check that out.
Am I going to Ezfans party tomorrow night? I think I'm gonna try to stop in, but we'll see.
Like, what's going on.
But...
Yeah, I think, I think that's the plan.
Um...
Where's BlizzCon this year? It's in Anaheim.
It's always in Anaheim this year though, it's in September instead of November, which is kind of weird.
Any- uh, anyone live in Anaheim? I was looking at the weather yesterday and it's like 100 degrees in Anaheim.
What the heck is going on with that, man? Like, like actually, what the heck is going on with that?
How is that real? Yeah, it's like never that hot in Anaheim. I feel like, well, I guess sometimes in the summer,
but like it's September, like I don't know what's happening.
Thanks for reading YouTube chat, of course, Alki.
You're used to that in Arizona. Yeah, I'm used to that in Arizona, but when we go to California, it's supposed to be colder. What the heck?
That's gonna be it's gonna be so hot dude, I actually can't believe it
Is the main event being streamed anywhere. I think it's just on the Blizzard channel or the Warcraft channel or both or something
I don't know I
I live in Anaheim. It's super humid too. Wild weather going on. Well, shoot. Oh well. Dang.
That's crazy. Not an American. What does an average Arizona summer and winter usually
look like summers on average are like a hundred degrees Fahrenheit like on a good day. So like
37 Celsius on a good day on a really bad day like can get close to 50 Celsius on like a really
like super, super high heat day. A lot of the times it's in that 40 to 50 Celsius range in the summer
In the winter, winters are pretty nice here.
It's like 26 Celsius, 80 Fahrenheit, it's kind of nice.
50 is crazy, yeah.
We live in one of the hottest places on planet Earth.
Not the hottest, but up there.
That's where I live.
Yeah.
That's the concrete melt.
It can, I think.
Stuff happens at that.
Why are you saying Celsius?
It's because a lot of people are in Europe
and they don't use Fahrenheit there.
there. And the guy that was asking wasn't from the US. He said not an American. So I assume
he wants the answer in Celsius. So I just did a quick Google conversion. So there we go.
I hate not having four seasons. Yeah. Arizona where I live, you basically have two seasons.
You have like a 10 month summer and then like a two month winter. Actually, no, it's
more like a, like an eight to nine month summer and then like a three to four month
winter. There's no, there's like a, like a one day spring, one day fall. And like, yeah,
it's pretty much, pretty much it. Hey, that's like Texas. Is it similar? I haven't spent
too much time out in Texas.
Do we ever get snow here? Very rarely. I've lived here my whole life or a moat, not
my whole life, a lot of my life. And I think I've seen snow like a couple times. I remember
like one time on like Easter, it snowed like 15 years ago or 20 years ago or something.
It was like, oh my gosh, like that was a big deal. But like pretty darn rare, man. Would
I prefer a colder climate? I mean, yeah, I think so. I wouldn't want it like too cold.
Like California weather is like pretty, pretty nice. That's why like I'm talking
I'm not being as cold as I was going on there.
Do do.
Do you ever plan on leaving to another state?
We talk about moving all the time.
The big thing is like we have a two and a half year old
and my wife's family's here, my family's here.
My parents are here, my grandma's here,
my aunt and uncle are here.
Shannon's brother and wife are here.
Like we have like a whole like network of family here
and with the baby, or I guess not like with the toddler.
It's like, yeah.
Family's nice, but one day, one day we'll move, I think.
One day we'll move, I think.
Come move to Minnesota.
I actually, dude, I have some family on Minnesota.
I've visited, when's the last time I visited Minnesota?
I guess it's been a few years now.
We plan to do a Minnesota trip at some point soon.
I actually like it out of Minnesota for the summer.
I don't think I would live there though.
The winters are brutal.
California's best for the U.S.,
like there's nice things about California,
then not so nice things about California,
but California's like, I mean I was born in California,
I have family in California too.
My sister's out there, like California,
there is some nice stuff.
That's the weather, I mean you can't really beat it man.
Yo, Payo, what's going on?
Dude, Payo, is there anything I can do
to convince you to last minute
I'm going to go to the top on an airplane and meet me at BlizzCon tomorrow.
Peo?
Peo?
LMAO?
No, I love you though.
Peo, I would love to meet you one day.
This was a great opportunity to come meet the boys.
Peo.
Peo.
Peo.
Next time, next time, next time, next time, next time.
Celcius was invented in Sweden 1742 by Anders Celcius.
There it is.
The more you know.
Did not know that.
Yo, thanks for the sub.
Payo is not allowed in the U.S. after the incident.
Oh, that's what it comes down to.
Okay, rip.
Gift him 10 gifted.
Payo, I will gift you 10 gifted subs
if you come to the U.S.
One day, Payo.
It would be fun bro, it would be fun but it's all good.
Oh my gosh.
Meet Peekaboo, BlizzCon, yeah Peekaboo will be there.
I'm excited.
Who else bro?
There are so many people I wanna say hi to.
So many people.
I have like a list of people I wanna say hi to.
G-Bay's gonna be there, I really wanna say hi to G-Bay.
Ozzy Falls is gonna be there,
Pops is gonna be there, Ziko, Ezfan, Ampy, is crazy.
Glad you're enjoying it.
Yo, Matori, thanks for the prime, dude.
I'm amped.
Legit, can't wait.
Kuzu's gonna be there.
Yeah, Savics, yes, Ziko, yes.
It's gonna be a good time, man.
Sardocco's gonna be there.
Sardocco's a good friend of mine.
Can't wait to see him.
I've actually never met him.
Johnny is gonna be there.
Yeah.
Ampey, Veneruque.
I hope Cidu and Bean.
Showback, I believe it's gonna be there.
I'm excited to meet Showback.
Shibae.
Yeah, it's gonna be sick.
Do, do, do.
Soda, yeah.
I'm going to stream at BlizzCon.
Yes.
That's the plan.
This BlizzCon start tomorrow.
I'm flying out tomorrow.
The first day of BlizzCon is Saturday.
Do you think this is going to be one of the Blizzards biggest BlizzCon?
I don't know.
There's a lot of hype for this one because there hasn't really been like an actual
BlizzCon in seven years.
There was the one in 2023, but there was like no AWC
and it was kind of like felt scrapped together.
I don't know, that one felt a little off.
So I feel like there hasn't been a real,
like a real like exciting one since 2019,
which is seven years ago pretty much.
And then like the classic announcement was
at the 2017 one classic era.
So I don't know.
We'll see.
We'll see.
I feel like it's very hype.
Yeah, I don't know if Athena's going.
I don't know.
They built the hype for this one pretty well.
I think it's just been such a long time.
Like if we've had BlizzCon's every year for the last seven, I don't know if it would
be this hype.
We were actually watching a YouTube video.
Crap.
Was it Preach?
I think it was Preach's video yesterday.
he was saying, if there was a BlizzCon last year,
we probably already would have known about Classic Plus.
But there hasn't been a BlizzCon in like basically seven years.
Well, let's call it three, I guess.
So we just don't, like there's just so much hype
because it's like there hasn't been one in so long
that people are like, what's going on?
What's happening to mop?
What's happening to TBC?
What's happening with Classic Plus?
Like we need all of these things answered
so people are excited.
But if we had a BlizzCon last year,
we probably would have had answers
to some of these questions already,
so there probably would be less hype.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is it's hype,
but I think it's mainly hype
because we haven't had one in so long.
Really is what it is.
What was the moment you knew you made it as a streamer?
So I have like two answers for this.
The first one was like, okay,
I'll give you the real answer first,
and then like, actually an even more real answer second.
So the first answer is just answering the question
at face value.
When I hit a thousand subs for the first time,
I felt like to myself that I,
I like all the time was worth it
because a thousand subs meant I was only making
a little bit less than I would at other jobs I turned down.
So like that's pretty good.
So like that was a really big moment for me.
So like that's the face value answer.
The non-phase value answer, which is even the more real answer,
is that the way content creation works
and the way that entertainment industry works in general
is you're only relevant until you're not relevant.
You're only as relevant as your last stream
and your last video,
and people will forget about you like that.
It's the same in acting.
It's the same in music.
It's the same in like any type of like comedy.
It's the same as anything.
So all of you guys will forget about me
as soon as I'm not relevant anymore,
which will happen one day and I'm very aware of that.
So I don't really ever think about,
oh, I've permanently made it
because that's not how it works.
That's just not how it works.
So that's the real answer.
Yeah.
Do-do-do.
Um, Shadow, thanks for the tier 129 month, but it hasn't happened yet. Not yet.
Oh, man.
You're gonna get back to League soon. I'll play more League at some point, but I don't know when.
Advocacy! What's happening, man?
Who is this guy on my screen again?
Oh!
Royal!
Thanks for the prime for five months.
Appreciate it.
Heading up to Anaheim today.
Woohoo!
Maybe I'll see you there, man.
I'm flying out tomorrow.
We're going to do a short stream today.
Get packed up.
Get ready tonight.
We're heading off early in the morning.
We're going to fly into LAX and get there.
tomorrow should be chill Saturday Sunday should be busy as heck and we'll kind of
go from there
I'll be there solo generic. I'm just gonna be like way too busy shout out to show out
Xiao from Brazil.
There we go.
Long Beach is a better airport to fly into.
Yeah, I wanted to fly into a closer airport,
but there isn't any flights from where I live
to that airport without a layover.
So then I could like,
I, so I have three options.
I can fly out of Tucson to LAX, which I did.
I can fly to Tucson with a layover to the closer airport,
but then I have a layover, so it's longer anyway.
Or I could drive to Phoenix and fly from Phoenix
to the close airport,
but then driving to Phoenix takes like an hour and a half.
So I just went to some LAX or whatever.
Private jet, obviously.
I mean, that's what I normally do, but I don't know.
Didn't take the jet this time around, I guess.
John Wayne with a layover is better than LAX all day.
Maybe you're right.
Yeah, maybe, honestly,
maybe I should have just sent the layover.
What's the biggest non-wild thing you're looking forward to this weekend?
The problem with layovers is you can get delays, and if you get delays you just miss your whole flight and then you're kind of screwed
Like a layover is just for a dude. It's a one-hour flight. A layover for a one-hour flight is like so silly
You know what I mean?
LAX does suck. I actually yeah, I fly into there here and there and it's annoying.
I don't think LAX is that bad. What? Bro LAX is brutal
Actually, you know what flying out of LAX isn't that bad
It's when you're flying in and then you need to go to like get your luggage and then go to ground ground
Transport and you have to like walk everywhere and it's just so crowded and you have to take a bus to get to another bus to another bus to another bus
It's like
Brutal
But if you're if you're getting picked up at the street, I guess it's not that bad
Like if you have a friend to pick you up from LAX
Getting to the rental cars a trip. Yeah, I've taken a rental out of LAX to and it's like to get to the rental place
It's like multiple shuttles and this and that and you have to like is yeah, it's it's a process. It's a process
Learn how to travel haha carry on your luggage and uber haha
Ah, goodness gracious, this guy's never been to LAX,
this guy's never been to LAX.
Yo Chris, thanks for the tier one sub.
Good morning brother, what's the biggest non wow thing
you're looking forward to this weekend?
Meeting you guys, meeting my friends online,
like, I wish Paya was going, but like,
seeing Ampey meeting Sardocco, meeting Ossie Falls,
Pops, right, Taylor, like, I can't wait to just,
Like that's the biggest thing.
That honestly is what makes the event
even more than anything else,
like then the event itself.
Illuminations, thanks for the T1, appreciate it.
LAX as a pilot, I like it, but I get it for passengers.
Yeah, I'm sure as a pilot, it's way different.
I see pilots, they kind of just like skip every line,
you just kind of walk right in, it's nice.
Am I staying at the Hilton?
I, wait, I actually was gonna tell you guys,
but maybe I shouldn't tell you where I'm staying.
probably not a big deal but yeah maybe I shouldn't you know holy thanks for the
prime yeah don't yeah maybe it's not a good idea to tell you what I'm saying
probably doesn't matter but maybe I won't yeah maybe I won't what's your
room number yeah definitely not doing that I looking forward to meet or see
anyone in particular? Yeah. A lot of people. I like G Bay. Very like if I can meet G Bay,
that'd be sick. I'm not in touch with him though. So I'll have to like randomly stumble
across him, I think.
Cryptic. Thanks for the G1. Am I bringing the family? No, I'm going solo. He's staying
at the Rich Carlton after he gets off the private jet. Dude, I just said I don't
want to tell anyone. Um, um, um, um, this is my first bliss.
Kind of nervous to meet people. Dude, it's a good time.
Like it's just a good time. Oh, I guess I was thinking about
about this the other day in a in the car I was thinking about this the other day
because like this year we're going to BlizzCon and you know we have this meet
and creed and some streams and stuff and like it's exciting it's really
exciting and I was reflecting on my first BlizzCon and bro my first
BlizzCon that was different my first BlizzCon I was like how old was I? I was probably 18
What year was it? It was
2013 2012 or something like that
however old that makes me I was like 18 I had like zero money and like obviously it wasn't like a like a big streamer or anything either so I
Just kind of went and showed up and I slept in like the
I didn't have money for like a hotel or anything
or like a BlizzCon ticket.
I kind of just showed up at the event.
So I just slept out on like the floor of like my friends
like what's it called, like room I guess.
And then each night I just kind of like couch served
on like a bunch of people's like couches and floors.
Yeah, Mitch Jones lent me his bed one for a couple hours
on one of those BlizzCons.
And then we just kind of like literally have like
a BlizzCon ticket either, so I kind of just like went there
and like, these are things that are fun to do
when you're like 18 and you have like, yeah, zero cash,
you're like 18 or 20 and you just kind of like,
I bought like a $100 plane ticket, flew out
and just, I think I caught a ride with like NMP
and NMP bought the Uber or bought the taxi back then
or whatever it was and like,
Then I just I like stayed with other people and they're like
Yeah, it was fun dude. It was fun though. I remember it to this day, you know, it was fun
Did you just hang out outside the event?
So BlizzCon back then like 13 years ago was a little different
Like I
There's got to be some statute of limitations on this but like I like back then it was a different time
time. So back then we just figured out a way to get inside. And he snuck in no way. Yeah,
no, actually, though, I think it's a lot harder to sneak in now. Like, I think it's a lot harder.
Back then things were so different. You just kind of like could kind of just like go in.
I was like, yeah, no, you broke the law?
No, I, no, guys, I wasn't talking about me.
I was saying that 13 years ago,
my friend might have done that.
It wasn't me.
You guys misunderstood, unbelievable.
But yeah, dude, it was a good time, man.
It was a good time.
I remember like just staying up late.
We were hanging out at the Hilton lobby,
Sheraton lobby, all the rank one players
we're just talking about, oh dude,
this arena match from last week was so crazy
and like, like who is they?
I'm trying to think of like all these OG names, man,
like Casca, Thugonomics,
Rockus,
who I'm trying to think like,
like Wreckful,
Soda, not Soda Poppin,
but like, like Alex, Talbedar,
You know all these guys it was just so fun, man. So fun.
Should be a good time.
Is BlizzCon mainly WoW or other Blizzard games as well? It's all Blizzard games, not just WoW.
I will say this though.
From every BlizzCon I've been to,
the crowd is the loudest and most excited for the WoW announcements every time.
I will say that there was a moment where like Starcraft 2 Finals was like really big, you know
but like the people in the crowd at BlizzCon are clearly
Wow fans. Yeah Starcraft 2 there was a moment like in 2012-2013 like Starcraft 2 Finals were more massive
But it's not quite that way anymore than there was a moment where Overwatch Finals were pretty massive too
But obviously it's not like that anymore, but like yeah wow is
is, yeah, it's massive.
There was a couple of years where Overwatch
was definitely the main thing going on.
I mean, there was Overwatch, the thing is kinda.
There was Overwatch Finals, which were sick
and exciting to watch in the arena,
like when you go into the right.
But the problem with that, it was hype,
but it was still like when the announcements were going on,
you could tell that wow was still the main thing.
You know what I mean, like you could hear it from the crowd.
2023 had more room for Overwatch
and it was empty compared to the WoW areas.
Yeah, the WoW areas are just always going crazy.
Niau, 94.
CDL plus announcement to all the insider info.
I don't know what you're talking about,
but yo, thanks for the two and one, three months out, man.
I appreciate that.
Blizzard wouldn't exist without WoW.
Is that true?
I mean, maybe they would,
but it would look a lot different.
This would probably kind of true.
Look a lot different.
WoW is, well, WoW kind of holds it together, I think.
Oh my gosh, the book play nice about Blizzard is such a good read.
I actually have that on my reading list, I might check that out.
Nah, we're going solo cracker.
All right, all right, all right.
What's happening?
What is happening?
Wish me luck star driving the whole family from today at 2pm to Cali.
Oh my gosh, legendary.
You'll have a good drive.
Have a good drive.
How many hours is that?
Yeah.
I could, I could drive, but it's like eight hour drive, I think, which I don't want to
do, so I'm definitely flying.
Oh, news.blizzard.com, schedule, day one schedule, 10.30am opening ceremony, 12, wow what's next,
two, building cutscenes in a wow, 245, wow what's next, two, 330, wow developer, X

Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom.
Oh!
Oh, oh cool!
Meet and greet World of Warcraft streamers at Blizzcon!
Hey!
Blizzcon attendees can meet some of their favorites.
Okay, so this is, this is out there.
So, okay, sick.
So, meet and greet.
I guess I'm with Tyler1, Annie, Guzhu and myself.
We're gonna be from, we're gonna be there
from six to 645, day one.
I need to get my schedule up to date
because this is, I mean, assuming this is right,
I need to get my hours right.
Holy crap.
Tyler1, the wild player, I think so, yes.
Yes, yes, yes.

Helpful details for BlizzCon attendees. BlizzCon bundle. Okay, cool. When did this come out? When did this blue post actually get posted here?
posted here. Is anyone read this? Wow, head. Oh, this came out like an hour ago. Yeah,
this came out like an hour ago. Okay. I was like, I was, I was like, I didn't know this
was even out there. I've been preaching it, have you? I didn't even see that. Yeah, so
we're doing some stuff. We're doing some stuff. We're doing some stuff. We're doing
some stuff. Definitely doing some stuff. It should be a good time.
See, TravelsR? Y'all, thanks, man.
Bum bum ba bum bum. Am I still banned from your meet and greets? Yeah, same rules as
last time, Lemus. Same rules as last time.
Um, when and where is the meet and create?
So the win is right here, six to 645 PDT.
Well, there's kind of tennis can be their favorite.
Wow.
Streamers during special main treat sessions in hall a day one hall a six to 645.
That's where I'll be.
Additionally, if you see me, come say hi.
And additionally, additionally, I might do some unofficial stuff on Discord.
Be like, I'm going to be hanging out here for a while.
Come say hi if you want, kind of a thing.
But this will be like the official meet and greet.
Yeah.
What's the dress code for your meet and greet?
Bro.
What?
Don't even just...
Be very grateful for that. Yes
Everyone wear lulu lemon shorts and a crane black shirt. I mean that's what I'm gonna be wearing lulu lemon shorts and a black t-shirt
Black l would see that's right because like I don't I'm not trying to overheat man
What's the rating requirement you have to be high elo so I mean if you're playing league at least gold
Where is BlizzCon at? It's in California. Anaheim, California. You're gonna deal with
some weird weather. Yeah, apparently it's super hot out there. Can we get a Tyler 1 versus
our height check at the meet and create? We might be sitting down at like the angles
too, so it's kind of hard to see. Am I not nervous? I actually slept like a baby
last night but two nights ago I was like up all night trying to think about
scheduling stuff now that this is how it's actually good to see to be honest
yeah there's definitely a little the schedule is a little different than I
thought which is good
do do do do do
make sure to wear the boosters in your shoes I actually wear shoes that are
completely flat. I wear like the uh like Vivo barefoot shoes so they're like they have no
heel at all so you have zero drop and a wide toe box so like my feet can actually like grip
the ground. One thing about them is like I actually have zero increase height from my
shoes but who cares because they're nice because they're zero drop and I can feel the
ground. So we got to win there. No, not the toe shoes, white toe box. Barefoot shoes can
make tall people look shorter. Yeah, exactly. That's why I wear them, because I'm a little
too tall sometimes. I wear the barefoot shoes to bring things back down to reality.
This is how you do it.
Um what else what else.
What else what else.
G-Bay is really tall and he wears like I wear the black team. He wears like the super bright team
So it's gonna be like the opposite. I was actually thinking during my workout this morning that like like G-Bay is like my
Kind of guy, you know what I mean?
Like I really like G-Bay. I was I don't know why I was thinking about that this morning specifically
But like I definitely like G-Bay a lot like he's just he's just like a good dude
You know you can tell he's like very positive
Trying to just get some good content out there, give his perspective, it's phenomenal.

Wait, Pops, do I have you on Discord?
Let me see.
You have Pops.
I don't think I have you on Discord.
We need to get connected so we can meet up at BlizzCon at some point.
Same here.
What's your Discord, Pops?
I don't know if you want to, like, give that out.

Dude that CG death with drowning was brutal man brutal brutal
Oh my gosh guys it's 10 a.m. too early to go to bed so I can wake up into tomorrow and
go to Blizzcon.
Yeah I think it's a little too early.
I think I'm gonna wait a little longer.
There we go.
There we go.
Thoughts on Petri and Hardcore?
I've actually had a little bit of a change of heart
when it comes to Petri and Hardcore.
I have a kind of a nuanced answer to this,
like everything I suppose,
but as a viewer and as someone who watches Hardcore content
it sucks because it removes the excitement of death, right?
If you're watching someone raid and they just Petri out,
like obviously that sucks.
So the easy answer is just to say screw Petruy's,
they're stupid.
The reality with Petruy
and the reality of hardcore rating is this.
If you go to Ironforge Pro
and you go to classic era
And then you go to Hardcore, where is Hardcore?
Hardcore is merged with Aira.
How many weekly raiders do we have here?
I wanna get this number right.
TBC, Sodmop, White Main Thunderfury, Biggles,
Fairbanks, Anathema, Bluma.
Where is this?
Is it not on here?
It's not there anymore?
Crap.
Maybe it was there, but they must have removed it.
Huh.
It's not on there.
Weird.
Anyway, I looked at it like a few weeks back or whatever.
There's basically like zero people actually rating on hardcore.
Like it almost doesn't exist.
And you, it's kind of, it's like a couple thousand a week globally or something.
like it's, or like even less, right?
It's like very little people actually rate in hardcore.
So the practicality to answer your question,
the practicality behind Petri is it lets a couple thousand
people a week actually rate and without it,
there would be probably like actually zero, right?
It allows people to, allows guilds to have
a proper churn rate in the sense of
if you don't have them, too many people would die
And there would be like basically zero people rating
in hardcore ever.
And that's just how it would be.
Petri allows there to be some level of,
if you mess up, you can save your character's life
that you spent hundreds of hours on or days on or whatever.
So from a viewer's perspective, it sucks.
But if you're actually the one rating
on hardcore every week, which is very few,
couple thousand in the world or whatever,
Then it's probably a good thing.
So I guess that's my opinion.
Like it sucks to watch,
but for the people actually raiding,
I think they'd be like, yeah, like stuff happens
and you can still die with Petri on certain fights.
You can still die with Petri
if you screw up the usage of it.
Like it doesn't, it's not a complete, get out of,
you know, so I don't know.
There are guilds that raid without Petri
and they stop rating after a month or two?
Well, that's my point.
Hardcore rating wouldn't exist without Petri.
So I guess the answer is like, if you're anti-Petri,
what that really means is like,
you don't wanna see like,
anyone rating in hardcore, essentially like basically zero,
which like, that's a fair position to hold, I suppose.
You could just say like, yeah, no one should raid.
But like, I don't know.
I think it's kind of cool that it allows
skills to to raid, make some mistakes, and people can like,
they can they can still kind of exist. Right. And like I said,
there's literally only a couple thousand people in the world
doing it. So
Oh, I do a pop some my discord pops just send me a message.
All right, sweet.
Okay, cool.
I was sick.
There's also, uh, I've just got invited to another discord with a bunch of people in here, too.
Oh, G-Bay's in here!
Oh my gosh.
G-Bay is in this discord.
I just added G-Bay as a friend on discord.
Let me check to see if he's accepted.
Nope, not yet.
He's probably busy.
I'll check again in a minute, cool.
Yeah, let me see.
Yeah, he's probably doing something else right now.
Okay.
He'll probably accept soon, no stress?
Yeah, true.
All right. All right. Sorry, take the hint. No, I like, dude, I just, I just sent it a
second ago. I'm sure you'll get around to it. It's whatever, man. It's whatever. Check
again. Maybe I'll just keep it open on my other monitor. Holy crap, dude. Wow.
I think there is like another reactor two from yesterday that we didn't get around to your true sound. Thanks so much for the prime dude am I alone but I feel like blizzards in a literal no win situation everyone wants different things and I feel like they're expecting classic plus to be their
Am I alone but I feel like Blizzard's in a literal no win situation.
Everyone wants different things and I feel like they're expecting Classic Plus to be
their savior and it just won't be.
I think you're absolutely right.
Yeah.
I think a lot of people are aware of this fact though that Blizzard's in this situation
where no one can agree on what they want.
Everyone wants something different.
So that's why my saving grace is literally just let the people decide.
Put it to a pull.
It saves you, Blizzard.
Like it actually just saves you.
If you put it to a pull, it's just like, okay, we'll do what you guys want then.
But it has to be a majority.
Good luck.
Let's build this thing.
It just saves Blizzard instantly with the pull.
It's the only actual way forward without Blizzard just getting pummeled into the dirt because
it's not what I want when everyone wants different stuff.
So that's why I keep saying that, but yeah, it's tough.
Um, um, um, um.
Sizzle!
Thanks for the Prime, man.
All right, what else has happened here? What else has happened in here?
We watched the G-Bay, the Willy, Elwynne, Preach. I wanted to watch this Aiki video.
We watched the Crandor. There was another Willy, and I think there's a new HC moments.
I kind of wanted to watch this one, though.
We are never going to stop doing the things people do.
I'm seeing a socks
Let's go over here
Who is the target audience for classic plus I would say anyone who has ever
played World of Warcraft or Warcraft in
General Warcraft one two and three or World of Warcraft in their entire life and quit for any reason ever
this
this new product is
Is there, oh, I quit because I didn't like this.
Let me try this new thing, right?
So anyone who's ever played wow and has quit,
of course there could be,
it could attract new players as well,
but that's gotta be the minority, right?
Like it has to be, like how many people
have played wow at one point in their life and then quit?
Like, I don't know.
It has to be 100 to 200 million people, right?
at least 100 million.
So that's, that is the target audience.
100 million plus people globally
that have quit Waufer one reason or another
and are looking and waiting for a reason to come back.
That's the audience, pretty massive audience.
Orendia, thanks for the prime.
120 million accounts were announced in WAD,
so there's way more now.
Yeah, it's maybe like closer to $200 million.
I don't even know.
Smug, thanks for the problem.
All right, let's check this out.
World of Warcraft won't be an MMO RPG anymore.
That is quite the claim, Aiki.
What are we talking about?
Nice, bro, nice.
We are never going to stop doing the things people love, but at the same time we have
a bigger vision than simply being an MMORPG.
That's what Holly Longdale, the vice president and executive producer of World of Warcraft
said a year ago.
And it's obvious what she means, right?
A new Netflix series, perhaps a new entry in the Warcraft franchise.
But I think it's more than that.
I think the mainline World of Warcraft won't be an MMORPG after the last Titan.
That is going to be the real next World of Warcraft.

The reputation was earned 20 years ago
ago, but the players who earned it are 20 years older now.
Not everybody has time like they did in the mid-2000s or during COVID.
For Blizzard, who has way stronger data than we have access to, the path seems pretty clear.
That's why Ian said, 20 years ago there was a sense that the game might be something
that appeared to them, but they don't have the time for it because it might be all consuming.
That is not what we are anymore.
That is not what we've been for a long time.
And we've got the proof in the game itself, but not only in the last six pensions, no.
We've got the proof since Rath.
Look at the timeline.
Everything above the line is something they added, a new optional thing to do.
Everything below is friction they took away, a reason to go somewhere that's simply gone.
And they've always done both.
The Dungeon Finer 2009 below the line, Mythic Plus 2016 above the line.
But look at the cadence they're doing it with right now.
And look how much of it is evergreen, content that doesn't expire when the patch does.
And that is no accident.
Long day it said, we saw in our data that our casual and mid-core players were underserved.
That's where late last year we created the live team.
And now look which of those aren't just convenience, which of them you can do completely
alone.
The clearest one is Delfts.
Ian said, with Delfts we've made a very conscious choice to say, you know what?
It just gives you gear.
are going to be a linchpin of how we do worldbuilding, storytelling, and end game progression for years to come.
They are catering the game to a player base that is now more time-sensitive.
That doesn't want to walk to a dungeon for 20 minutes.
I was actually thinking about this yesterday.
I was watching some RuneScape streamers.
I talk about RuneScape a lot, because I actually love what RuneScape has built
in terms of the systems and the decision-making.
But I'm gonna be honest, I think WoW is a better game.
Right, I think the IP of wow is better. I think the movement is better
I think the world is better like I like wow better than runescape. I think wow is just superior, but I
Like a lot of the decisions that runescape has made it runescape was my first game before while my first time
Oh before while I played
Back then and I'm watching it now and like one of the things I really like about runescape is your ability to
Play on your own terms
So all of the endgame content and I'm not saying wow should copy this
In fact, I'm probably saying that they shouldn't.
But one of the things that I like about RuneScape
is that you can just log in and play when you want
on your time schedule.
So even though it's a game that grossly doesn't
respect your time in a sense, it's also
you can start and stop when you want.
You could quit for three weeks and come back
and pick up right where you left off.
You can do the raid all by yourself whenever you want.
It's not, oh, I need to be on it this time,
or I'm older and I have a family
and I can play for 30 minutes
but then I might need to go like get my son or daughter
up from their nap and then feed them a bottle
and play for a while, go to the store, come back
and then like when I put them down for their next nap
then I can play for another hour.
RuneScape works for that.
Hardcore, wow, kinda works for that.
It's really hard to do that playing
around like a raid schedule
or like a kind of like a world of Warcraft
like normally is played, where you want to like sit down for a while and play, right?
So Blizzard understands this.
They added things like Delves.
And Delves kind of solved this, right?
A little bit on retail.
You can play solo whatever you want and get your own gear without needing to lean on
someone else.
You can just kind of play in the solo world.
RuneScape solved it in the sense that it's an MMO.
There's other people out there and you can interact with them and talk to them
and trade with them.
economy and there's people running around the cities hustling and bustling but at the
same time it's kind of like a single player MMO hard core same thing single player in the
sense that you're on a leveling journey but there's other people in the world that populate
it and give it meaning.
Mage tower in a sense solves this same problem.
Mage tower you can start and stop when you want it's better for that older audience
that need to stop when they need to stop and start at random times around work and life
and stuff like that.
The counter argument is, well, what the heck, bro?
It's an MMO and you're supposed to need other people.
And to that, I kind of agree.
It's like, yeah, you should need other people, lean other people, and that's one
of the things that has made WoW so great.
That's why I don't just say, WoW should instantly just be a single-player game.
It's pros to it, but you kind of lose the whole identity of the game of, I need other people
in my dungeon.
I need to group with someone else to complete this quest that's really difficult.
That's cool to need other people.
But it also isn't realistic with people with really busy lives.
So retail has been this thing where they're trying to satisfy the person that only
has these 30 minute time chunks or 40 minute time chunks.
if you have like an hour, you could play a game of League
or Counter-Strike, they're like, okay, you have an hour,
you could hop into a Delve or a Mythic Plus maybe,
like so retail's trying to do that,
but there's something about like a classic MMO
that like part of the identity is it takes time,
but the thing about WoW is it takes time with other people.
So I guess all of that to say is like,
WoW is kind of at a pickle.
I think leaning into something like Mage Tower
or something like hardcore leveling challenges
things that might appeal to people that have this really weird block of time that still
want to enjoy WoW would probably be massively successful, but I don't think WoW is in a position
where you just make all of the raids single player.
Nah, I don't think you can really copy that over, that doesn't really work ruins the
identity of what made WoW so good in the first place.
So it's like a little bit of both I suppose.
the dungeon for 60 more minutes and then not get rewarded with an item. That's exactly
why they built more and more of the solo evergreen co-
Oh my gosh, guys, G-Bay just waived to me on Discord and at- G-Bay just added me on

one sec guys.
okay
one sec guys
One second, I just have to type a quick message, guys.
I'll be done really soon here.
All right, yeah, just to send that for now, I have a lot more to say, but we'll just
keep it short. Yeah, here we go. I'll just keep it real short. Yeah. Anyway, if you guys
are just tuning in, we're actually mid-react right now. And it's the final stream for BlizzCon,
so it's kind of a big deal. Yeah, I'm tuned right now. Well, there is and always has
been extremely difficult and rewarding content like Mythic Rating and Mythic Plus. They
want to give the option for the dead who has 45 minutes after the kids are in bed
It's something meaningful. A delve, a bounty or just a new wall in their house.
And the important thing is they don't take away from you. Ian said it himself.
We haven't moved away from something we used to be into something new.
We've broadened, and he's right. But look at what they've broadened with.
Housing, delves, prey. Not one of them needs another person.
Those broadening results in making the multiplayer and MMORPG kind of optional.
This is why I think retail will go even more into the direction of a buffet, where you can pick and choose what you want to consume, where if you don't like one flavor, you can simply pick another small thing that complements the other flavors, creating a whole...
The clarification is that Delves are not going to give you the same power of gear as like Mythic Plus or Heroic Rating or Mythic Rating.
The high-end delves might give you equivalent loot to some of the heroic stuff from memory,
but like the loot is worse is the point, especially from mythic stuff, and that's a big deal.
So the clarification is that like when you're playing Runescape, the best gear in the
game can be farmed solo.
So the equivalent of that would be in World of Warcraft, delves would give you the
the best possible gear on par with mythic raiding gear,
right, that would be crazy in the sense that like,
maybe people just don't raid anymore
and the whole thing collapses
and people just play solo,
like that would probably be pretty bad, right?
But Mage Tower for cosmetics
to give you something to farm and do,
like really works and delves as a solo player option
to get people gear that might not have time
to do all the other stuff
they get like some starter gear
to then maybe have enough gear to get into a raid.
Like I think kind of work, like it's actually kind of cool.
Man, I'm such a RuneScape fanboy though,
cause like I think like part of,
I actually really love the idea
and hardcore WoW sold me on this idea
is like I love the idea of a world
where it's populated with other people,
but you're all on your own little journeys.
That's what RuneScape is.
RuneScape is a game where everyone out there
is on their own little journey, kind of like life,
and you're doing your own little thing
and you're fighting your own bosses
and you can still group and raids and stuff,
but like most, a lot of people just kind of like play solo,
but like the towns are still populated
and you're still kind of there together.
It's a really cool thing, very different game though.
Like I said, let me repeat, wow should not be that.
They're different games.
They can't just copy each other, right?
Different pros and cons, but it is cool.
your experience, your experience, one that fits into your life.
Have you noticed how many more story cutscenes there were in the last few expansions?
Not only the cinematic ones, but in-game rendered ones as well.
Even though most of them look like they're having the time of their lives on a rave,
they've got one thing in common.
They want to cater the story more to the player, giving him real immersion and make
the story an actual experience.
And we can see the trend in the data as well.
They've put more emphasis on personal storytelling in the last few expansions than they have ever
before.
The idea of putting your character front and center make it part of every encounter.
Every story bit and especially every cutscene is definitely not new.
It's the rule for almost all new story games that come out.
Even for MMORPGs it's not that uncommon.
Just take a look at Final Fantasy 14.
Up until the last expansion they've got 159 hours of cutscenes.
You spend a huge part of your time listening to a story and spending time immersing yourself
in the world.
And let me tell you, the story of Final Fantasy is phenomenal, but you mostly play it alone.
Perhaps a dungeon here or there, but you can also do them in the new expansions at
least with NPCs.
It's a solo game, mostly, until you're at the endgame.
Then the same formula as in Bao repeats.
Dungeons, raids, and like wow has now, more solo content, like housing.
of that under the umbrella of an MMORPG? How do you guys generally feel about this genre of MMO
that is mainly solo play? Hardcore wow for the moat kind of runescape, FF it sounds like I've
never played, L hate it, sucks, terrible. I actually kind of love it, but all you guys seem to hate
it. Hardcore WoW is basically this in a sense, right? 99% of Hardcore WoW is hitting 60 solo
and you obviously you have raids, or dungeons rather, most people don't raid. Interesting,
interesting. I wonder why I like it. I've watched a few videos on the same exact topic where
I can't remember who it was, but it was like a year ago now and it was basically like there's
more and more of these games that are like these single player MMOs in a sense where you're like
you're you're kind of grinding the content solo but you're in a world with other people also
grinding the content solo so that gives meaning to the world right um you like it because you're
a streamer since you're not really playing alone maybe yeah maybe that's true um
I play MMOs to play with other people if I wanted to play alone I'd play an RPG yeah yeah
Yeah, yeah.
Like I'm not saying one is better than the other,
but I'm saying like they're,
like playing a solo MMO is almost like an oxymoron,
but in a sense it's like,
it's almost like you're,
it's okay, so Elden Ring is kind of like
a good example of this.
Elden Ring is a single player game,
but you have the notes from other people
and you can leave notes to other people like anonymously
and it kind of feels like
you can't actually see other players.
I mean, there is PVP too,
so you could in a sense, and co-op.
But you know what I mean, it's like the single player,
like you can kind of get the glimpse of other people.
When you're playing a game like RuneScape,
it's kind of that same vibe,
where you're like, you're going through the world solo,
but like you see all the other people
and it kind of gives you that meaning.
Solo MMO is a journey on your own timeline
with optional group content, right.
The solo MMO experience gives you a lot more agency
over when you can actually play the game,
which is really, really nice,
But it doesn't really work in WoW in a sense like,
I mean, it works in hardcore,
but it doesn't really work in WoW.
Like you do want to be able to raid in Dungeon.
Like needing other people is a core part of the game, right?
Archer, thanks for the prime.
Absolute trash experience for an MMO.
MMO means that people have to be together.
Well, that's why it's an oxymoron.
That's why it's,
that's why we're having the conversation.
That's why it's an interesting one, right?
Because on a surface level, you're right.
When you examine it more, it's actually quite fun.
It's like, why?
What's going on here?
That's why we've seen a couple of these videos,
and it's really interesting to think about.
It's like that game Fellowship that came out.
Fellowship is Mythic Plus Simulator,
so I don't think it would be anything like that.
In fact, it would be the complete opposite of that,
I think.
MMO means different things to everyone. There's no set way to play at 5-6k hours around and have never rated in the current expansion
Yeah, dude a lot of people play Wow solo
Type one in the shot if you play Wow mainly solo like of course you you know
You do this and that here and there but like mainly solo like there are so many of you guys that play Wow
So low not all the time but like 90 plus percent of the time you're logging in and doing your own thing making gold
leveling an alt, I've never rated in 20 plus years.
Wow, that's crazy.
Like so many of you, I would actually,
like I wonder if there's more people
that play, wow, mainly solo than play in groups.
I don't know.
I'm actually just curious.
If it was 2010 or back then,
MMOs used to be way more social.
99% of the time I do my own thing.
Like there's something like weirdly cool about that though,
like you're in this world do a poll. I mean the poll is probably going to be really biased.
I could try to do it anyway. What do you do most of the time in WoW? 90% plus solo content,
always grouping. I'll put most of the time grouped content. I'll just put mostly grouping.
So Dungeon's Raids grouping.
So I'll do a two minute poll.
So, yeah.
I feel like this is like a bias poll
since we've already been talking about it.
I can do the same poll on YouTube too if you guys want
but I feel like the poll is a little bias here.
Most of the time, 90% plus solo content, mostly grouping.
Like, I think Blizzard has this data, and they have it in mind, and that's probably why Blizzard has done things like Story Mode, Delves, right?
Like, let's give people ways to just, like most people are playing the game solo anyway, let's give people ways to play it.
it. Having said that, I totally understand why people would absolutely hate this. I get
it because you're like, bro, it's an MMO, you idiot, right? Like, come on. Like, I get
it, bro. I get it. That's why we're having the conversation. Like, I'm on the same page.
It's just a fascinating one, right? Super, super interesting. So on YouTube, the poll
is like even more 75% solo, 27% mostly grouping.
YouTube is very similar.
Like most people do a mix of both, right?
Obviously.
But there's actually like, at least from this,
like a minority on Twitch and YouTube of people
that are actually just like grouping all day,
which is yeah, really, really interesting stuff.
You are literally going against everything you've said
Previously you're being disingenuous and you avoid any comments about it. Sorry. I missed the comments. I didn't mean to what do you mean by that?
I
Authentically don't understand what you're trying to say
But I would love to understand I
Think you're the only one typing that's why I'm trying to this was from
Tusker
Holy angry boy dude got upset. Yeah, I think it might just be you. That's why I'm asking tusker
I don't I don't know what I said
How is he disingenuous? Yeah, I'm waiting to see what he says. I think it's one guy
Just kind of just waiting a second here
The reason I'm curious, he hasn't replied yet, so I'll keep talking.
The reason I'm curious is because I've talked about this exact thing many times before.
As an interesting thought experiment, once again, I'm not saying wow, should be a single-player game.
I'm not saying that, but I'm saying it's interesting that so many people play solo
and that solo game play can be so fun, which I've said many times.
So I'm curious as to...
We're still waiting. He hasn't said anything.
Okay, he said something. Let's read this.
What I mean is that you have been a champion for friction, seeing each other in the world,
disliking retail features that make it simpler in a lobby game, hate flying, but now you
suddenly are promoting all these simplifications that retail brings.
No, not promoting them.
I'm saying that for the audience, sometimes they can work and that wow, should not be
be this way should not be this way should not be a single player game like RuneScape
but it's fascinating that RuneScape has these things and that they can be fun but wow should
not be that to be clear. Last room for BlizzCon seems to me you're softening us up for what
you know Classic Plus will be. Okay so I think this is a simple case of miscommunication
I never said this. Always a miscommunication classic yeah. Bro cooked us with a microwave
on that one? Yeah, one of the things, like, there's a lot of nuance to these conversations,
right? That's why it's important to, like, have them. Lots and lots of nuance.
But yeah, just to be clear, I like that you need other people, and that's one of the things that
makes it wow, wow. That's why we're having the conversation of, like, how and why are these
single-player players in MMOs.
Why do they exist?
Why is it so many people and why is it so fun?
Because it shouldn't be.
It doesn't make sense.
Anyway, welcome to the conversation.
That's the conversation we're having.
Hey, Mitt, thanks for the prime.
Honey, thanks for the prime.
That's why hardcore was so perfect.
It was perfect balance of doing solo content
and choosing to level with someone,
but it was just great.
Yeah, yeah, it's one of the,
like hardcore did it really well.
Yeah.
Or those, thanks for the prime.
One reason soloing is fun that maybe people don't think about is you're overcoming the intent of game design via creativity.
If you design for solo, that leads to a modernization.
So you're saying like it's fine if you do the content solo if it's not meant to be soloed.
but you can still try like kind of like hardcore but it's not good to just only
make solo content for solo content because it puts people in their own lane
that's like an interesting take hey correlation thanks for the T1 bro
um um um last stream before classic plus hold who knows man who knows people
myself started doing solo content as there is no risk of someone else wasting your time by
griefing or raging and solo you can play on your own pace and not on the pace that is expected
from you. So are you saying that like, yeah, like it really respects your time, right? Really
respects your time. Why does RuneScape always get brought up in discussions about WoW? RuneScape
is a fraction of the WoW's player base so clearly WoW has made better decisions overall
for over the years. Why is RuneScape be treated as a meaningful benchmark for WoW at all? That is a
great question and you're right. WoW overall is a bigger and more successful game than RuneScape.
But I think WoW has better IP, right? I had Warcraft 3 before. WoW is I think a better game
in the sense like it's just the way you move and feel and you're immersed right so wow so then you
might be like okay so why compare why are you comparing to an underdog the reason the most compelling
reason um for me let me see if i can find this if i can't maybe someone can help me oh i think
I think I might have found it.
Yeah, this is close enough.
This is close enough.
So this is old school RuneScape average population over time.
This chart is like the most compelling reason
that I think people bring it up for the most part.
Not that it's a bigger game, it's not.
It's smaller.
Not that it's a better game.
In my opinion, it's not.
Although there's pros and cons.
But to answer your question,
when old-school RuneScape launched in 2013, 2014,
it had like less than 50,000 weekly average pop, right?
Which is, you know, it was kind of doing its thing.
Or OSRS average pop was, yeah, 40,
like what is that, 38,000 or something, quite small.
But, you know, it had its dedicated player base.
And then over time, it shrank.
It went down.
it dropped, people quit.
And at some point, the OSR's devs were like,
wait a minute, what if we start pulling our community,
listening to our community,
and adding new content to the game
based on what the community wants?
Boop, a little blip, an uptick, okay.
And then for a while, it was kind of that same thing.
Another uptick from a new patch.
Ups and downs are normal.
Another uptick from a new patch.
Ups and downs are normal.
Another uptick from a new patch.
Ups and downs, another new uptick.
This is why we're having the conversation.
So now in 2020, it's like, wait a minute.
There are more people playing RuneScape in 2020
than in 2014.
Think about just that.
Like don't even look at the second half yet.
Just from here, six years after,
let's imagine classic era
had this same trajectory.
So this was classic era right here, just this part.
It came out, you know, it peaked very high
and then it slowly fell off, very similar to this.
It came out, it peaked here and slowly fell off.
That's what you would expect, right?
That's what you would expect.
But then they started adding content
and it grew to the point where there's over
a hundred thousand average pop on the release
is 40 or whatever. So over double. Are you following? It's a long answer. It's a great
question. That's I'm giving you a long answer here over double almost triple of the population
from launch. So if you put that to wow numbers, that would be 1.2 mil or something. It would
be like it would be as if it just like went to the moon kind of like how raft did.
Actually this kind of this chart kind of works in the sense of a raft is in a sense
kind of classic plus, right? The original. But that's not that's a slightly different conversation.
Anyway, let's continue. Even though it's a smaller game, less successful IP, less successful
game overall, you can still learn from smaller things. Because over time, they continue to do
the polls, continue to listen to the community. And then in 2025, they hit over 200,000
and average weekly pop, which in 2014, over 11 years before, they were launched at 40,000.
So once again, you transfer this to WoW numbers, much bigger game, much larger IP, just listening
to the community and putting in things the community actually wants and votes for.
You would have literally millions of weekly raiders playing era.
That's kind of the claim.
That's why it's a relevant conversation.
Does that make sense?
That's why people always quote it.
That's why even though it's a small game,
it's a beautiful micro sample of what's going on.
Crap, I forgot that guy's name.
I hope you're still in the chat.
Maybe I hope I answered your question.
Hopefully that makes sense.
Very, very, very, very good thing to study.
I think he fell asleep. Well, maybe, maybe. It was Tusker? No, I wasn't Tusker. Did I adequately
answer your condescending question? What movie is that from? Is that from social network?
What's it called the Facebook movie? I think it is
Yeah, I think I think it is
It was me. Thanks for explaining. What's it actually I'm going to your logs. I gotta I gotta be sure
No, it wasn't you. Oh my gosh, you got me
Why listen to underdog when bigger player is bigger
Yeah, like so I guess the very, very short answer is even though something is on top,
it can have a downward trajectory and that's scary.
And even though something isn't on top, it can have an upward trajectory and you can
learn from it.
That's the very short answer.
The top dog of wow is going down, the small game of runescape is going up.
What can we learn?
the short answer. I guess I could have just said that. That's the very short answer.
Is R you ever going to compete again?
Probably not. Probably not.
Yeah, we just got five good members on YouTube from
Anima. I actually technically was a League of Legends pro. About 10 days ago I did a
Professional League of Legends tournament for money.
I lost, but uh...
Technically I'm a professional.
And still, walk into Linsen Lümünzule on any evening and you will find people not only standing around,
but actually interacting with each other.
And please don't get me wrong.
I don't think Blizzard will make retail into a Final Fantasy XIV clone,
making you watch cutscenes more than you get to play.
Vow's strength has always been the world, combat and auto-immersion.
What the data shows though is that they've moved the story out of the quest text, which
most of us were more inclined to skip, and into cap scenes, which are more palatable
to consume.
And even more than that, with law walking, they've included a way to experience the
biggest stories Vow has to offer and to catch you up to speed in your own temper.
I think it's a building block for a whole new leveling experience, especially for new
plays. Imagine one chapter per level, getting you through the whole Warcraft lore in an immersive
way. And at the end, you get to experience the newest expansion with all it has to offer,
including the systems that make retail so great. And even then, the final boss of an
expansion used to be the one thing in this game you needed to gather 20 people for.
Since the war within, every season's-
How would we feel about this? I never thought about that. What if on retail,
You made a new character and it took you through,
I don't know, even know what would it be?
Like the original trilogy of like a,
this like almost story experience
of like the original trilogy.
And then it spits you out of end game.
I mean, I guess that's what they try to do anyway,
but it doesn't really work very well.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Like, what do you do with retail, man?
What do you do?
I think that sounds amazing.
Like it could be cool.
like retails are so big man it's just so big final boss has a story mode now you
can go in alone kill the boss by yourself and see the end cinematic of the
raid whenever you want so it fits into your life so every mmorpg nowadays has
the same fate and game is the goal and the only option for real group play
nothing has permanence I mean Ian said it earlier this year midnight might be
the fastest expansion we've ever made. Every two months feels like about right to do something
significant. But let's step back a bit. While we are getting faster expansions and faster seasons,
so it's resetting your gear every season, that's not new, since almost the beginning of the game.
That's what a season is. And Blizzard never called it a problem, and neither do I.
But it does raise a question. What do you actually own in this game?
Not your gear, really. It's your pets, your titles, your toys, your transmog, your mounts.
And look when the stuff arrived. Achievements 2008, transmog 2011,
pet battles 2012, Trabux 2014, Warbands 2024, and it's now account-wide.
While your gear resets every season, Blizzard was building a second layer underneath.
The stuff that stays. That's actually true. Like, in WoW,
If you can roll on the best in slot item or the mount like the mount will actually stay on your account forever
The best in slot item you're gonna replace next year no matter what
Like in a sense like the true endgame is like the transmog and retail the toys and the mounts because everything else gets reset every season anyway
This guy this guy's got the ZAR fit. Yeah, he does
And now they built the biggest ever green permanent progression system that even aims to combine all of them, giving it a place to be.
A place to take everything you have earned out of your menus. It's housing. Your pets already live there.
The big achievements hang on the wall. And monster transmogs, they're currently working on it.
Ian said, we're adding the biggest single feature that a WoW expansion has ever added to the game.
built not just to last for the launch of midnight, but for years to come.
And the numbers don't lie, 4 million hours played in the first two weeks of early access.
And that is also your non-wow players, maybe the people who have put in 2000 hours in the
sims or in other MMR-peaches with housing that want to see what Blizzard has been cooking.
And boy they have.
It is something the players wanted since Vanilla, and for a good reason.
It is content to be permanent.
It is content that persists through expansions, cosmic threats, good and bad patches, without
the fear of losing it.
It is literally coming home, doing it at your own pace today.
I've said this before, like I think housing makes a lot of sense for retail, and I think
Aki does a great job in this video explaining why all of the permanent stuff can be kept
in your house and it gives you a physical place to be like, look, this is all, this
This is my count progress in a sense, right?
It's pretty cool.
For, I still like, I'm not a big housing guy necessarily.
Like I don't care that much personally.
I also don't really care in like classic.
Like I do like to keep items, you know?
Like Thunderfury, for example,
if Classic Plus comes out and Thunderfury
becomes a crappy sword within a year,
like that would hurt, that would suck, right?
Or like if some of these set bonuses,
you just completely, they just get completely replaced
and you never look at them again.
Like that would suck.
Like I like the idea of some type of gear permanence.
So A to A horizontal progression for gearing.
I would like that personally.
Like I don't like that the only thing that matters
in retail longterm is your pets and mounts.
Like I don't like that.
I really don't.
I like having this horizontal system
kind of like RuneScape, which once again,
you know, we talked about why that's relevant.
Tomorrow, next week, next expansion.
Whenever it fits into your life.
Time, story, and ownership.
All of them fit into your life now.
But there is still one thing missing.
The desk you have to sit at.
Ian said, if we were actively working towards
bringing World of Warcraft to console
or a bunch of other platforms,
we'd be saying we're actively working towards this.
But he continues, we have a lot of work to do,
but it's a place where we want to land.
Blizzard really is preparing for moving away from that desk.
They natively support a gamepad since 2020.
Prune the classes for Midnight to drastically reduce the buttons you have to press
and even implement a rotation assist with one button rotation.
And if that's not enough evidence, they don't want the players to rely on addons to play the game.
They radically limited the access addons have to the game.
Putting all of the game's combat events basically in a black box.
Making the design of endgame content not reliant on addons.
and Ian himself put it in writing.
Yeah, kinda, except the fact that the add-on devs found another way around
and they made the add-ons work anyway somehow
and now we have like basically all the same stuff it's just not called week-or is anymore, you know?
He said, they never designed four addons, but they've had to design around them.
This is a great change in and of itself for everybody playing this game,
including desktop players.
But this also enables Blizzard to give non-desktop players down the road access to the endgame
without the need of setting up add-ons on console and the icing on the cake.
It also enables Blizzard to design their encounters with non-desktop players in mind.
So why can't people join your raid from their Xbox yet?
Because there's one important block missing for them that you might not have thought about
right now. Communication. They can't talk. However, even for that,
First building blocks are being implemented into the game with a ping wheel that has been implemented in 10.1.7.
And, you know, that's not all.
See, other mmorpgs are way further down the evergreen solar road than retailers.
Fine fantasy 14.
I'm just thinking like how mad these two blood elves are that he's just like sitting on the table.
Like imagine you're having coffee with your friend and some dude just sits there and starts recording a youtube video.
doesn't say a word to you, doesn't even like,
like pretend you're not even there
and he's just talking to the camera, recording a video.
Like it's just a green screens are, no, no,
I'm just saying, imagine how mad these blood elves
would be though, like they've got to be pissed.
They're trying to pretend like it doesn't bother them
and they're continuing their conversation.
But I'm thinking like, this guy is,
This guy is griefing their whole coffee meetup right now.
I feel for him.
And for example, was built with story in mind.
In-engine cutscenes are the tool for telling that story.
For utilizing that correctly,
you need an engine that supports it,
that was built for it.
That's how you gain the ability
to create impactful in-engine cutscenes
without it looking like, well, that.
And why do I bring that up right now?
because the better animation system for in-game cutscenes
not only enabled Square Enix to tell deeper stories,
it also allowed them to let players communicate and role-play
without the need to ever type a single word.
Not needing to type to communicate and interact with each other
opens up the possibility for ditching Morse and keyboard as a whole.
And that's exactly what they did.
I've played the whole four or five, six hundred hours of the fine fantasy mainstay request
without ever needing to use Morse or keyboard.
And it works.
It also works in raids, dungeons, housing, it even works in WoW with add-ons like console port.
Especially now with the prune classes in midnight and one button rotation,
the character control aspect is completely solved.
And that is why I think the last Titan or the expansion after it
will bring an overhauled animation and a mode system too.
On the one hand, let players communicate without the need for a mouse and keyboard
and on the other hand, to make the in-game cutscenes more immersive,
Shifting the focus more on the story told by that rather than quest texts
And I think it is very likely that either with that upgrade or one expansion after that upgrade lands
We will see the first console port for Xbox. It's Microsoft after all and
I know I know but you might be thinking does this guy really want to tell me that in a few years
I may play my mythic plus with a tank that plays on his phone
No, thank you to which I say
Doesn't he already play like that?
In a true, but let me tell you about an encounter I've had a lot of classic
We were in a dungeon and our heel did really well
I complimented him for that, but got a message from another guy in the party. He said
Sorry, it's a little hard for him to reply. He's blind, but he's happy is doing well
But it stuck with me and I got curious
I researched it a little and this guy really was from a guilt for legally blind people
They used an atom that told them exactly what was in front of them without ever seeing it
And they even had a YouTube video explaining how it worked, but they heard instead of seeing while playing the game.
And in the first moment it felt so alien.
How could anybody play like that?
But that is not the point.
It's not about me.
Who the f**k am I to tell people how they should perceive and play the game we all love because it's not the way I play?
Especially if it was this performance that got me talking in the first place.
There are people that play better on Steam Deck and achieve higher ratings than I do on PC and I perceive myself as a certified gamer.
This situation has opened my eyes after thinking anything else than the desktop PC experience of what a forecaster was for me, not the foot experience.
I was wrong.
It is not the job of the people that come through those avenues to justify why they should be allowed to enjoy the same game.
It is Blizzard's job to integrate them seamlessly without taking away from the existing player base,
giving everybody who wants to enjoy the game the opportunity to do so, in whatever way fits their life.
Great, now everything fits into your life, but how does that fit into World of Warcraft?
True. Look at the timeline one more time. The plus line. Delfts, story mode, prey, housing.
That's a buffet. Every one of those made playing together optional.
Now look at the minus line. Every single entry on that side removed the reason to stand somewhere,
and standing somewhere was the whole point. There is a study about this from 2006,
so no nostalgia bias. 20 years before anyone argued about classic versus retail.
Researchers from Stanford and Xerox Park tracked 129,000 bar characters for months,
taking a census of five servers every few minutes.
And this was 2005, during the absolute peak of this game replaces your life.
And what they found? Most people played alone.
Grouping didn't take over until the very last levels.
Solo players even leveled about twice as fast.
The title of the study is very fitting.
Alone, together.
Holy crap, this is exactly what we were just talking about.
Yeah, wow, yeah, pretty cool.
I feel like I might have heard about this
in another video from months ago or something,
but it was talked about in a different light.
Pretty rad, right?
Like, it is interesting.
Like I said, I just did a poll.
How many of you guys play 90% alone?
And it's like the majority of people
kind of play wild alone.
Of course, you're gonna look for groups now and then
and raids, but like, a lot of your journey
that solo experience, right? Super interesting. Alone Together's an OSRS
Iron Man thing, exactly, exactly. RuneScape does it very well, Hardcore wow
does it very well, Plastic wow does it very well, I think Retail wow is trying to get that.
It's that third space video, yeah I think it was. Because that was the finding.
People don't play with each other, they play surrounded by each other. And that,
the researchers wrote, is the actual magic of this game. Playing wow is like playing
pinball in a crowded arcade where spectators gathered around the machine. Level 60s were
simply left standing in front of the auction house for everyone to admire. They even used an
exclamation mark for that observation and then scientific paper. So the social aspect of while
was- You don't play with other people, you play around them like going to an arcade. Wow,
that is very well said. That's exactly what I was trying to put in words like 30 minutes
to go when we started this video. It's way more true than you might think. Because everyone
is like, I asked you guys, like, do you like, like, should, should wow, what did I, what was
the question? Everyone's like, no, like solo, wow, should not be a thing. Like it already
is. Like this is how the majority of people interact with the game. It's cool because
there's other people in the cities. It's not really playing solo as you're going
on a solo journey, but there's other people in the world. Right? It's really interesting.
That's why playing on Dead Servers bores me.
Exactly.
You can be going on a solo journey on a Dead Server and it sucks because you don't have other
people around giving it meaning.
Like you could play WoW offline on your own private server.
In fact, funny enough, people have done this recently where they make their own private
server and play solo and then have thousands of AI bots play with them.
The AI bots are there to just populate the cities,
the auction house, the world.
You can group with them,
and people have been playing this way.
Where they're playing offline with AI bots,
World of Warcraft and their own house.
It's like alone, but like with other AI bots,
it's really, really interesting.
Anyway, yeah, well, I want to then server
doesn't feel the same,
because you want people around you when you're gaming.
Right?
never only grouping up. It was having an audience. It was being seen. Look at the name, MMORPG,
the second amp, multiplayer. If you believe the study, that one was always optional. Nobody
lost anything when Blizzard made it official, but the first amp, massively, the crowd.
That one was never optional, and that's the one thing that is shrinking right now.
So what is the problem today? Why does the current expansion's capital not feel
like Stormwind did in 2006. The problem is the room. Go to Silver Moon today and look
at it. It's beautiful. But nobody really notices you anymore. And there are three reasons for
that. And every one of them is on that minus line. And the first one is flying. Everybody
sips past you, over you at supersonic speeds. And Blizzard says no plans to restrict flight.
So the second one is when you see somebody standing at a place in the city that has
no utility. It is because they bring their own utility to it. They sold a mount with an auction
house and a mailbox on its back for 90 dollars, essentially making the flight let along the walk
to most NPCs in town pointless. And the third one is Sharding. Even if somebody does stand there,
you might not see them. There's a whole- This is a very good video. Absolutely. Those are-
We've talked about these in the past. Top three, bro. You have Phasing, Sharding,
flying and no reason to actually go into a town in the first place because you can just use your
own auction house mount right like classic wow classic plus hopefully there's no flying
hopefully actually still need to go to storm when to use the auction house hopefully there's no
like layering i mean there probably will be but like you know like all of these systems that
take people apart you want you want the cities to feel like packed and crowded and exciting
to go into right and you actually see other people somebody does stand there you might
might not see them. There's a whole thread of role-players about 20 players in the Sizzle
Moon Inn they couldn't see. Back in 2012, Blizzard promised capital cities will not
be set as cross-server. That rule is gone. And, to be fair, Classic has layers too.
So this one is not exclusive to retail only. And Blizzard probably knows all of this.
Holly Longdale again? This idea of third space in our online worlds. We can't even
define what that means exactly. But we're working on figuring that out. We want people to come in,
hang out and have birthdays, weddings, raids, grand adventures, play with their friends,
meet new friends. That might be the most honest quote in this entire video.
And they are testing. The Argentina, for instance, is a tavern built for hanging out,
with a stage for player performances. Players call it now a cozy ghost hall.
I don't find I have a reason to go there anymore, except to half, somebody wrote.
And the second test is neighborhoods. They said garrisons were isolating.
Neighborhoods exist to bring people together. But you can also fly there.
There is no auction house and even if so, you could use your own auction house mod.
And well, 50 houses is a street. It's not a capital city.
In addition, neighborhoods are in part asynchronous. Other players can visit
your house even if you're offline, if you let them. They want to introduce guest books,
upwards and so on. Your crowd will become a feed, which isn't in itself a bad thing.
It can be a great addition to the synchronous crowd the 2006 paper talked about. And asynchronous
isn't one experiment. It's the design principle. The neighborhood makes progress together, but
nobody has to be there together. Your neighborhood becomes a decorated house and a progress bar.
In 2005, players were alone together. In 2026, you're alone, with the evidence
that others exist.
Remember Limsa-Lewenza from Final Fantasy XIV?
It's kind of a solo game up until the late game.
They also have asynchronous stuff like housing with guest books.
But they also get a full square in their capitals.
Because the market bought the bank and the vendors
all sit 20 meters around the etheride.
That's a quick travel point.
And there are no mountains allowed in the city.
And I've been told old-school Runescape runs the same recipe
with the Grand Exchange, where the bank and the market are at one spot, reachable on foot.
You don't have to stand there, but everyone does.
You can think about find a fancy what you want.
You can dislike the graphics, the out direction, the story, etc.
But don't you agree that is freaking cool that people gather here and interact?
Yeah, so on the asynchronous side for World of Warcraft, there are building rooms
for people you know, and a feed for people you don't.
And for the people you know on the synchronous side, you also got your house and all the activities
in the endgame you can do together.
But for the people you don't know, sure, you get matched with them, Mythic Plus, Raids,
the group finder, but that's playing with strangers, in an instance for a task, and
then the group dissolves.
What's missing is playing around strangers, the people standing right next to you,
without a reason.
The pinball machine.
My lobby is made of waiting and Blizzard spent 15 years removing the waiting, so it fits into your life.
So, here's the experiment I would run if I were Blizzard.
Okay.
Don't create new artificial rooms.
We've got more than enough of them.
In the next expansion, create a capital that is smaller.
Make a fixed space in that capital where you have to walk to, auction house and bank there, as well as the main story NPCs.
One chart, no mounts.
Perhaps even move the dungeon finder window away from a hotkey and put the
menu into an NPC you have to talk to. Make the people walk past each other and
pay attention. I don't... I mean these are good ideas but I just think retail is
not in the position to really implement them in a meaningful way
because you do a smaller capital with an auction house and a bank and
and whatever, but like at the end of the day,
you could just fly to another bank
on a flying mount that goes a billion miles an hour.
You can go to your auction house mount
or someone else's auction house mount.
The Dungeon Finder on an NPC,
like people would just queue for it anyway,
even if there was an NPC.
So like it doesn't like,
retail has like grown past all of this.
I think it's trying to like classify retail,
classic-ify retail.
I don't know if you can do it anymore, man.
Like these are all good ideas.
Like I like them.
I just think retail is like past this.
Like you can't really go back in a sense.
Yeah, I don't know if any of this stuff would actually work.
I think they're good ideas.
It's too late, Bennett.
Like for something like a classic plus,
you have so much from retail
that we've learned to not do, right?
Because it's fun, but it breaks the player experience
a little bit and it breaks the social interaction.
Flying mounts great example, right?
Auction house mounts great example.
Like you can't just add these things
even though they're great quality of life
and they can be short term fun
because then it like,
now you're not running into other people, right?
So I think they're really fun lessons to learn from
but it's some of these things,
what's the analogy like?
It's a cog that only goes one way.
you can't reverse it, you can't actually go back.
And like, that's how like flying is,
I think that's how like these auction house mounts are.
You can't just say, hey guys,
we're gonna take away the auction house mounts
and your flying mounts,
and we're gonna go back to like,
how things used to be like,
you can't really do that anymore, right?
We're past that,
but a lot of good lessons for Classic Plus, definitely.
You have to talk to,
make the people walk past each other and pay attention.
I don't expect them to do it.
And I think that's the mistake.
But I think they will go somewhat into that direction.
At BlizzCon this year they will likely announce a new space for people together, directly linked
to housing and neighborhoods.
Maybe Guild Halls, maybe some place for celebrations or weddings.
But those spaces will be secluded, small groups of people who already know each other.
The second M stays, the first one gets smaller.
There are millions of players doing M-plus, park rates, guild rates, housing, PvP and
And all the other great systems it has so often.
What got less is the random encounters in the world.
The names you recognize, the guilt you belong to, and that's okay.
This doesn't mean you have a worse experience than in classic.
World of Warcraft is getting renovated right now, and we can feel it.
Multiple ways of playing, solo or in a group, synchronous or asynchronous, PvE, PvP,
or just collecting or doing housing, playing at a desktop PC or on the couch, on your
TV on your Xbox. It's letting you create your own experience. But when it is finished
for Classic with Classic Plus and for retail with the expansion after the last Titan, I
truly believe it can be as revolutionary again as it has been in 2004. But what do you think?
Would that still be a world of forecraft for you? Let me know down below. I love
reading your comments.
So I used to think like this, where I was like, how can we turn WoW into what it
used to be, right? That was like taking up so much of my headspace for so many years. How can we
bring in the old into the new? How can we revive this thing into its former glory? That was my
question I was trying to answer. And what I've realized over the years is that people do like
retail with all of these modern things. But I might not be that population anymore as much,
but that brings some really cool stuff like Mythic Plus and Mythic Raids and a lot of these modern
things are kind of cool in their own way, but it's just different. So instead of trying to make
retail feel like classic, you just have two products. You have retail with all of its cool
modern offerings and you don't have to try to turn it into something it's not, right? Like
what's that quote? Like you love someone for who they are instead of trying to love someone for
Who you want them to be?
Maybe I botched that a little bit, but it's like if you like retail
It's like this is just who this is just what retail is so it's not trying to just change it into what it used to be
Right, but we also have classic and I think that's why Blizzard wants to build classic plus to be like hey look
Here's what all of you guys want right?
This is the smaller world no flying no auction house mount no
no sharding, no modern conveniences of queuing
from everything from a menu, right?
No, just like sitting in the city spam queuing.
It's like, let's make a space where we can do this stuff
and let's leave retail alone.
So that's kind of where my mind's been
at the last many years.
It's like, let's give up trying to change retail.
It's its own thing now and it's successful
in its own way and it has its cool things about it.
But maybe I'm just more pessimistic than this guy
or maybe I've just thought about it for longer.
I've been thinking about this for many years,
but I was on that train for a long time.
How can we make retail into its former glory?
I've left that behind, I'm sorry.
Retails its own new cool thing,
and it might not be for everyone,
but we have classic and classic plus is coming,
so we have something else to look forward to.
It just seems to me like a healthier mindset
than trying to continue to change this thing, right?
Well that was like what two hours for this video. She's Louise catch. Good morning
Good morning. Good morning
Good morning. Good morning. Good morning
That was all
Classic plus hype
Classic plus layers though. Yeah, I agree. Like I'm not a big fan of layers, but we'll
see what happens. In shrouded hype in a month. Oh, you know about that. Have you seen Preachy's
This video, yeah, it's really good.
It's very solid.
Why are you reading over classic plus confirmed comments?
Cause it's been confirmed for like over a year
and I'm getting tired of the people just keep saying that.
So it's like, all right guys, yeah,
we've known for like over a year.
Guys, it's read the blue posts.
Good as gracious.
But there's always someone new who comes in that like hasn't been following it and they're
like wait a minute what did I miss?
Okay.
There was, oh yeah this willy video I haven't seen this one.
Can you show the blue post that confirms it?
Yeah sure.
I have a command for it,
cause people come in and ask all the time.
It's linked in the chat, enjoy.
Sweet.
Okay, guys, we got to check our Discord messages here.
Okay.
All right.
Looks like, uh, sweet.
Okay.
One sec, guys.
It would be great to be able to say hi at some point if you are available.
All right, there we go.
Nice.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I'm not fan-boying. I'm...
I'm strategizing a...
a meet-up...
with, like, like, strat...
I'm strategizing potential...
things that could happen, right? Like, we're...
Yeah. Networking. That's right. Yeah.
Every game that runs long enough is bound to leap.
bound to leave networking networking networking. Yep. Yep. Um, okay, cool. What else is happening
guys? What else is happening? We got a $5 donor from larbson. He says, um, how do you
convince Blizzard to revert the auction house amount? I assume it's the most sold mount.
how do you sit down until plus or the amount is bad?
You can't.
That was kind of my point.
You can't go back.
You can't remove flying.
You can't remove, there's certain things
you can only go in one direction on.
That's why I'm saying it's a much healthier mindset
in my opinion to like go and build Classic Plus
and drop the idea of trying to make retail
into something it's not.
Right, I figured this out like three or four years ago.
So I've kind of dropped the idea of trying to bring back
the classic feeling into retail.
It's like, you can't really do that anymore.
I don't know, do I sound really pessimistic when I say that?
I think it's just the truth.
And I'm not hating on retail, by the way.
Like I think retail with Mythic Plus and Mythic Raids,
like I played start of midnight, like it's fun.
It's just realistic.
Yeah, it's just like, it's just not,
it's not gonna be that anymore.
I got, you know, you just can't.
I'm not not trying to be a negative Nancy.
Yeah.
So I mean, there's been lots of evidence for people.
I've talked about this so much.
But we'll cover it again
because there's some people in the chat
that haven't read this.
This was like over a year ago now, BluePost,
they shut down Season of Discovery
and said, and I quote,
we've made the decision to slow down
on Season of Discovery and begin work
on our next major project in the original WoW Design space from Blizzard themselves over
a year ago, stopping Saad to work on the next major project in the original WoW Design space,
not WOD original WoW Design space, said in plain text over a year ago, we've had confirmation
for a long time. Could this mean classic while mobile? Technically, yes. Welcome to the conversation.
There we go. But yeah, it's the next that's what this is the thing that people are calling
the next thing. Classic plus is its name came a lot whatever. This is what we've known for a year
over a year. So there we go. We've said this. All right, right when this came out, I was like
screaming and running around my room. What was this like a year and a half ago? 2025.
Yeah, almost a year and a half ago. I was like running around my room screaming like classic
plus confirmed in my whole chat. It's like, this guy's on some copium. And like, it's like,
Well, I can read, too.
What class am I playing?
Mage.
Yep.
Yep, yep, yep.
Zara's the copium critique fatigue.
Yeah, I mean, I know I am the copium guy.
Like, that's fine.
Like, I have, like, I want wow to be good, you know?
Yo, Snooty, thanks so much for the promen.
Sorry, you have a Windows update to complete.
I'm not doing that.
No, I'm not doing it.
Absolutely not.
Don Lee, thanks for the front.
Does that mean they started at this point or was it
in development before this?
I would assume content was started a little before this,
or at least at this,
but probably a little before they officially announced things.
So, yeah, I don't know.
So this is what, like almost a year and a half.
It's probably like a couple of months before this.
So it's been a while.
Sean Rowe, thanks for the run.
Um, um, um, um.
It's the last stream before the con, yep, yep, yep.
Idle log, thanks for the prom.
Mafia, thanks for the prom.
Zara, what do you think about the iPhone Duo?
I haven't looked at it too much.
If you guys didn't see this,
it's like a phone like this,
but it opens, like folds and like opens like that.
I don't know.
I, this might be like a real like boomer take.
I just like, I don't know if I get it.
Like, dude, this reminds me of my prediction on the iPad.
So when the iPad came out, I had my phone and I was like,
iPads are stupid.
I would just rather use my phone or if I need a computer,
I'd get my computer out.
So my prediction for the iPad is that it would fail,
which I was terribly wrong about,
because who the heck needs this middle size screen
because just open up a laptop or use your phone,
one or the other, which by the way, that's what I still do.
I still don't own a tablet.
So in my life, I was correct,
but clearly not for everyone else.
This reminds me of the same thing.
It's like, okay, you have a phone.
All right, that's already a phone.
And now you have like this middle screen thing.
Like, why do you need a screen this big?
It's not quite a tablet.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I think I'd rather just have a normal phone.
What do you guys think?
Am I wrong here?
Am I wrong again?
I might be wrong again.
I was wrong with the iPad.
Maybe this will be crazy successful.
I just don't know if I see it.
I agree with you, not wrong.
Okay, maybe I'm right this time.
Or maybe all of us are wrong together.
That would be fun.
Maybe this is the phone
that we're all gonna have 10 years from now.
I, yeah, I just don't know if I see it.
Like,
has any of you guys had a thought recently
where you're just like,
oh man, I really wanna flip phone again.
like the 2000s.
Have you guys thought that?
Cause I haven't.
No, yes, no, yes.
Cause like, who is this appealing to like,
the guy that's like, oh man, I want that flip phone back.
Like, bro, I had a razor growing up
and like, it was sick growing up,
but like, I don't care now.
Like, I'm not like, oh, I want my flip phone back.
Like, bro, my iPhone is way better than my razor ever was.
Actually, in a sense, it's kind of nice
that the razor, you could just call people and like text.
iPhone is almost like two connected,
but that's a whole different conversation.
Anyway, does anyone love this idea
and can convince me why it's the next best thing?
Is there anyone in the chat that's like, bro, this is it?
This is the sickest thing I can explain to you all
why it's great?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Yes, watch Apple's event from yesterday.
It's actually not bad.
Watch the video, you'll understand.
So maybe I have to actually watch the video.
Maybe there's some cool features that I don't get,
but apparently it has a worse camera than an iPhone,
and it's $2,000 because it's bigger,
but it doesn't, it can't take as good of a picture
as an iPhone, so you'd still want like a,
I don't know, man, I don't know.
I just can't, I don't, I don't know.
New Warcraft post 10 minutes ago, what is it?
Yeah, like I said, maybe I'm just a complete boomer take.
Very, very, very possible.
Two-day countdown to BlizzCon, watch the AWC and MBI Grand Finals live as the 2026 champions
are crowned.
Bro, I can't wait to watch an AWC.
I know a lot of you guys don't care about PVP, but I do.
I have my history as a PVP-er, and every year this is my Super Bowl then.
This was my Super Bowl, and I haven't seen one since 2019.
So quick math, it's been seven years.
I can't wait to watch the AWC finals
for the first time in seven years, bro.
It's like, imagine not having a Super Bowl for seven years
and then you get to go to the Super Bowl
assuming you like football.
Like that's what this is for me.
Like I can't wait.
Why has it not been here in seven years?
COVID, then other things, it's been a while.
Hey, that's my Merciless Glad Eater's gavel.
He's got that thing.
These videos always give me so high to have love on.
Although I don't like the new models, Blizzard, I don't NOT like the new models, but I like the videos.
for the last time
I guess I should explain these videos for a little bit for people who've never seen it.
Blizzard takes the armory characters of all the MDI and AWC competitors and they put
them into a like little feature film here where like so this I don't know who it is maybe Calvish
this is like Calvish's actual character with his same transmog and they have them all fighting
so what's going to happen at Blizzcon and they have like they mock up like a fight
it's pretty cool like it's pretty it's like I nerd out over it every time like these are
actual like the characters of all the people that are going to be competing
Anyway, I nerd out on it.
Yes sir!
I don't I don't follow MDI as much as maybe
some of you guys but man I can't wait for the AWC. Wicked. Yes sir. There was one one
year with peekaboo in it. I remember they did but I can't I don't know if I can find
the link of it but I think they had him like take a selfie in game was pretty sick. Brand
new. The classic plus leaks are too good to be true from Belialar. Oh my gosh. Django
Thanks for the 2-1-Sum. Appreciate you.
Um...
Mum-mum-mum.
Mum-mum-mum-mum.
Let's see the Pika Club. I don't know, man.
Don't know if I can find it.
There's the Ballylar fit and then Willy...
Willy-Willy.
What a macarons going dude XE year thanks for the Q1 appreciate you 48 hours until the real thing. Oh my gosh
So much hype yeah, all right
Do you guys want the Belial our classic plus leaks to be true or the willy most defining moments a while's 20 year history?
I might watch both, but which one first?
Hmm, hmm, hmm.
Sauce, thanks LePrem.
Bellylar, Bellylar, Bellylar, Bellylar.
Okay, most people on Bellylar.
Well, I think we'll do Willys too.
But, let's see this one first.
Bellylar! Classic plus leaks are too good to be true.
What's going on B?
The project codename Camelot is not what you think,
and it may not even be the Classic Plus that we've all been expecting.
It isn't a few zones stitched onto the edge of the world.
It isn't Blizzard dusting off unused outland maps.
and it isn't a dive back into the classic era as we've understood it. At least, all that will
be the case if the recent flood of leaks is anything to go by. You see, like a submarine under pressure,
the leaks are coming thick and fast, and what they show is something bigger and more ambitious
than we imagined. Well, we'll find out very soon at BlizzCon. But some dedicated sleuths have
been doing the digging and it certainly seems most of this stuff is true and that is why I give this
video the heaviest of spoiler warnings because there's a very real chance that after you watch this
video what you understand classic plus to be will actually line up with what we see at Blacom.
Wow! Wow that I mean wow Belialar is basically just saying it goodness gracious.
If the leaks, which do appear to be credible, end up being true.
Camelot may not be the Azeroth we know because it's very likely set in a different timeline or different time periods altogether.
The possibilities for when it's set will drive veterans out of their minds and they'll introduce a whole new generation to one of Warcraft's most important stories.
stories. I was actually watching an S-Fan stream and he was talking about like
it would be cool if you had a game set like Classic Plus or a different game or something set in
like Warcraft 2 or like Warcraft 3 before WoW or this and that but then he was saying like
it would just be cool but doesn't know how good it would actually be. What do you guys think
about this? What would you rather have like what what actually let me let me
re-ask what timeline would be the sickest timeline? Classic era after Nax is
the obvious timeline right? What happened after Nax? But you could also say like
what if it was like pre like Warcraft 2, Warcraft 3? Brand new world but looks
I wouldn't like that. I don't think um war of the ancients era yeah like that
could actually go kind of hard pre-next post-rath no cata first war were the
ancients like that could go kind of hard so with blizzcon a few days away I'm
pulling all of these links together for a last look at what Camelot might be
If nothing else you'll be impressed by the sheer scope of what we are hearing
Leaks leaks leaks leaks. Okay
Let's get stuck in with the largest Camelot leak
Which is basically the thing that appears to confirm that this stuff's kind of true
So back in the summer of 2025 a Redditor leaked a huge road map
Warcraft's future on behalf of their partner who had just been let go by Blizzard
It had an arthus RPG on its TV shows and even an RTS
And by the way, on the RTS game side of things, there was a whole separate rumor mill that
does seem to suggest that Relic of all people could be doing that Warcraft RTS project.
Who knows about that, but let's refocus onto Camelot, because tucked in amongst all those
cool things was something called Camelot.
Now it actually sat under the-
Is there supposed to be the image up right here?
radar for nearly a year until veteran dataminer Steven found heroic and epic licenses for it.
That was pretty crazy.
Those are the game additions that Blizzard sells to us.
And that was effectively confirmation that Camelot was real.
I mean, we literally have a leaked roadmap suggesting Camelot exists and then we have
a veteran dataminer finding a reference to a Blizzard store product for Camelot.
What is your guys' preferred monetization model for Classic Plus?
My preference is you do the same thing with Sod and it's free, but that's probably not
happening.
Just the Sub.
So that's what they do with Classic or with Sod, it's just the Sub.
You have a Sub, you get to play.
No box price.
There's options.
There's a box price and a Sub.
There's just a Sub with no box price.
There's a sub, no box price, but then a store.
Please know, there's, what other options?
Oh, there's also the option of a separate sub.
So not your retail sub, but a new sub.
So now you need, it's just a sub, no box price, but it's a separate sub than your
other sub.
That's an option.
Don't think they'll do that, but that is what Dave on what was his name Dave on dev said that
That he thinks that that's gonna be the case
Why can't we have a box?
Shrew active sub plus box price
I've talked about this before and it seems like a lot of you guys are actually okay with a box price if
It means no store
You'd rather have a box price than a store, is that about right?
I don't want to speak for everyone here, but I think a lot of people kind of, yeah, I'm
okay with a box price, but there can't also then be a shop.
I think I agree with that, I think the store is like a big no-no, absolutely, that would
be rough.
I mean, come on, it does make sense, now that of course got our minds racing, Warcraft
has always leaned heavily enough on Arthurian legends.
Medevis Marlin, Arthas is Arthur Uther, is Uther, you got the point.
So is this blizzard taking Warcraft back to its original inspirations?
Basically, Arthurian legend plus the art of Frank Frazetta.
And if it is that, then think about the last time all those characters were on the
main stage of Warcraft.
It was Warcraft 3.
And Warcraft 3 is probably Warcraft's most important story.
At the time of those leaks and Steven's data mining, the speculation could only go so far.
Then came the Skyborne, or should I say, the Skyborne drama.
These are new elves in the setting because if there's something Warcraft needs, it is
obviously more elves!
Elves on?
Millions of the buggers, everywhere!
Now what were these elves?
Where did they come from?
Were they for retail?
Well, the only data-mined evidence that we had was some data-mined housing assets.
Housing assets?
detail. Maybe not, though.
Coonshot, thanks for the prime. Dr. Good-Loving thanks for the two and Evil thanks for the
prime.
And that's because the first potential sighting of the Skyborne turned up on the classic sub
Reddit.
Now we take a look at the model. It does seem a little too high-poly for a classic asset.
But that may actually be the wrong way to think about it, because it might not
be one or the other. It might actually be both.
Now why this gets more interesting is that things have locked into place over the
past few weeks. Content creators from the retail mythic scene.
Jerome. You guys might know Jerome, we actually filmed from my same studio. There we go. The most
real classic plus leak we've ever seen. I actually never saw that. Not classic. Started posting leaks
that started to line up with each other. So here's the big stuff from those leaks.
Camelot is apparently set in a different timeline. Warcraft 3 is so good. One is just
before Warcraft 3, and the other is during the first war. And both are incredible possibilities for
the game. Next, it's apparently built using retail assets, but you'll be able to toggle between retail
and classic graphics, which would at least explain the high- You guys already know how I feel about
this. I'm a big classic graphic kinda guy, alright? The toggle works, so like when I
When I played Warcraft 3, you have the option.
Do you want the new stuff or the old stuff?
Fine, fine.
You know, honestly, Biss, that makes everyone happy.
But like, yeah, that kind of works.
A Polly Skyborne Elf.
Graphics aside, it is apparently though still going to be classic.
And what I mean by that is that the combat, the talent trees, the vibe are all classic.
Now the big pointer towards our timelines and the ones that I've referenced here,
Well that would be the claim the Dalaran features quite heavily in this game, and the Dalaran
is still going to be on the ground in Hillsbrite, and that pretty much means it's got to be
set before the last mission of Warcraft 3's undead campaign because that's when our
command destroys Dalaran.
Okay, so there's that stuff, and it's coming from some content creators.
Now a second set of leaks landed on the MMO Champion forums as they tend to around
the same time.
Now these said that it would be set during the first war right as the old Horde invades Azeroth.
That sounds pretty awesome, and hey, it could be two leakers looking at the same pre-3rd war world and just not knowing exactly where in the time I...
Does anyone else get annoyed by leaks with absolutely zero evidence?
Like, at least a lot, like, at least this image
we looked at the start is like a screenshot.
It's like, okay, now you can think,
is this real, is this fake, is this part real?
But like, when we see posts with just like,
with just like a bunch of dashes,
like a four-changes, like, it's like, what, what?
What are you basing this on?
Like, give me something.
Like say nothing at all
Give me something that you're basing it on like one of the other and they would fit still sounds great blizzard send us back to you know
The wars that literally started war craft
I'm pretty down for that actually and it was honestly and especially with warcraft 3 the peak of blizzard storytelling and
Fundamentally that is the world we fell in love with and it is that world from which the world of warcraft grew
But here is where we need to take a bit of a sharp breath
apparently right? It launches with 10 zones and Kalimdor won't be on the
world map. Yeah, no Kalimdor in Warcraft, which is actually a completely
understandable thing if you know the history of the real-time strategy games.
Now it would mean initially...
So it's before they took the boat over?
Callumdor will not be in play. What is this paste off of?
Is cool as that might be? Like, I want Callumdor. What?
The works fled there? Right. They took the boats over.
I'm trying to think if I would even like that. No, Callumdor's got to be there.
That Callumdor, right? I'm trying to, like, stretch my mind a little bit here, but...
But…
Old map.
Yeah, no calendar.
In Warcraft.
Which is actually a completely understandable thing if you know the history of the real-time
strategy games.
Now, it would mean initially us imagining a Warcraft game without Night Elves, without
Toren.
That seems suspicious.
But then the leaks really did just start to come in fast and loose.
Guild housing came up, Guild warships came up.
You know what?
warships does not sound insane. Think about Warcraft 2, where there is a whole bunch of
naval combat, and Blizzard pulling that kind of thing off would not be surprising to me.
Look at, say, all of the locomotion stuff they had to build for skyriding, look at the
undermined driving system, and at player housing. They can clearly cook up new things
that involve moving around in the world.
But here's the kicker. And it sure is a kicker. It apparently will have a third
faction. And that is where we need to bring up another MMO. One conveniently involved in Camelot.
It's called Dark Age of Camelot. Jeff Kaplan and other early developers said that it was an
inspiration for World of Warcraft, mainly because it defined the faction system. But where
WoW has the Horde and the Alliance, Dark Age of Camelot has three factions. So the three faction
play bro like I'm all for like likes like if we have something to talk about to have a reason to
talk about it we can talk about it but if it's just straight up opposed with zero anything and
it's just like three factions no Calum though it's just like what are we doing
Oh my goodness gracious
Okay, so let's pretend for a second there's no Kalim Thor it's before we took the boats over
Before Medivh was like yo go check this out to Thrall
There's a third faction I
mean
That's got to be
Probably not great
It was certainly not as mad as it sounds.
But still, at this point, it's hard to tell what's real, what's feasible, and what's
just a wish list.
But if we strip away all the wild stuff, there is still a very solid core left, right?
It would be a classic plus experience with the option for more modern graphics.
Not an option I would take personally.
And perhaps in a...
Wait, hold on.
We...
Wait, hold on.
Which one would you take?
Still a very solid core left, right?
It would be a classic plus experience with the option for more modern graphics.
Not an option I would take personally.
Wow, Belialar would go with the OG graphics, but he's more of a retail guy.
Ah, okay, yeah, I'm just saying, yeah.
And perhaps an entire new timeline to launch content from.
That does sound like the kind of flex that Blizzard would have been able to pull off
back in their glory days, when they would look at expectations and somehow manage to
blow them out of the water.
Sounds like a dream come true to me. It sounds honestly more interesting than retail to me
And it sounds like a game. I would rather put my time into but whoa
Whoa, wait, hold on guys. Bellylar is definitely a more modern like retail guy, right?
He just said he played with the OG graphics and it's more interesting than retail to him
Whoa, I wasn't expecting Bellylar to say that
He's converted to a classic Andy recently. Oh, is it has he? Oh
Oh, I actually didn't know that. I thought he was definitely way more of a retail guy than
Classic Guy. He's more of a lore guy in general. Oh, so he's nerding out over the old lore from
like the potential that it could be like Warcraft II, Warcraft III, and the story has him more
excited than, oh, interesting. Okay.
of Classic Plus, if the combat leveling and exploration are all fundamentally what we know,
then, yeah, the only thing to figure out is when we'll be playing. So let's dig in to these leaked
timelines. Now, this might ring true for you, teaching gamers months of theory before they
build anything interesting is a bit of a design failure. That certainly meets my experience,
and this is today's video sponsored by Dot Dev, who take a bit of a better route,
having us build.
Here we go.
This one is a guided Python project with 20 lessons.
It's about six hours.
And by the end, you'll have made a real arcade game
using Pygame.
And as you do it, you'll be learning
object oriented programming, vectors and collision detection,
all the proper like original way hand coded.
And I'm gonna say from my experience coding.
Does anyone here use boot.dev?
Like not sponsored?
Like I'm curious.
The whole idea of it actually sounds kinda cool, but I'm not a coder.
I did, I do, me, it's great, no, I tried it, what do you guys think of it?
And the brilliant thing is that the whole platform of boot runs on that idea.
itself is built like a game with XP, quests and boss fights. And when you're stuck, there
is boots, they're a little wizard bear tutor who will nudge you towards the right answer
instead of just handing it over. Seriously, boots is like unbelievably good for what it
is. And look, if you want to start it is so easy, you just scan the QR code or you
head to boot.dev and use code value to get 25% off your entire first year on the
the annual plan.
Hi.
Alrighty, we got two unique timelines to consider, just before the third war and during the first
war.
Both of these are huge settings, but I'll start us off with the third war because I
think it is the more exciting one to many people and it does leave a lot of room for
future content.
And when I say future content, I'm talking about a fresh Azeroth between wars with
later content taking us through Warcraft 3 itself.
So with that said, let's take a look at the state of Azeroth in this time period.
The old horde has been defeated, and most of the orcs are languishing in alliance internment
camps.
A young orc named Thrall knows the horrors his people committed.
He has no memory of Draenor or of shamanism, but he's convinced that the orcs once had
an honorable soul, and he wants to find that soul.
So he escapes the camp he grew up in, and flees to the Altaric Mountains to find
the rest of the Frostwolf clan. Their leader, Dracthar, teaches Thrall shamanism. Later,
a mysterious orc arrives at the Frostwolf camp and reveals himself as Doomhammer, Ugrim Doomhammer,
the old warchief of the Horde. During a raid to free more orcs from an internment camp,
Doomhammer takes a mortal wound. He gives Thrall his armor and his weapon, the Doomhammer,
and names Thrall warchief of the new Horde. That is the very beginning of the Horde
than we know in World of Warcraft. So if you're looking for an orcish capital in this timeline,
it will actually be in the Altaric Mountains. Remember, this is before we all journey over
to Kalimdor. Now, doing the rest of the horde is hard, if not impossible, in a world where we are
initially in the Eastern Kingdoms. Here's why. Thrall only found the Darkspear trolls because
of his journey to Kalimdor, and when he arrived in Kalimdor, he ended up getting near to
Oh wow, these are the updated graphics for Warcraft 3, huh?
They're actually better than I thought they would be, because I played with the OG graphics,
but these actually looked east.
There he found the Torren who were getting themselves wiped out by the Centaur.
That would be pretty challenging to fit into this game, because Calvary hasn't been found
yet.
Then though, there's the Forsaken, and they are obviously even harder.
Yes, their capital today is in the Eastern Kingdoms, but they did not exist.
They weren't a thing before the Frostmourne corrupted Arthas. Well, oh did I said that a little too soon? What is that?
Arthas bro
They could do it as like some some like like like what's it called?
I don't know like makeup on or something that's I'm like like shiny forehead thing before goodness gracious arthas well
Did his whole campaign in Warcraft 3?
She's always forsaken only become a thing after the third war. I mean come on, bro
Why is he so like like it looks like like pretty anime character or something like what?
What I
Was just saying it looked kind of nice
Dang it man now in a way you could solve all this stuff with the bronze dragon flight think about it
Legion remakes was actually a canon event and wow
Now, basically it was the bronze and the infinites re-running the Legion campaign to basically
see if we could do it better.
But I think patching in holes like that using the bronze would drain the energy out of a
fresh adventure in a new but familiar world.
So it's a bit of a sticky problem, but if I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't really
mind that much.
There is other stuff you could do for Horde races, and frankly, a classic plus that
is able to effectively follow the campaigns of Warcraft 3.
Just sounds like pretty much the coolest thing ever.
Kind of does, sounds pretty lit.
Okay, The Alliance.
Whenever you think of The Alliance in-game right now,
it's actually different to what was going on
at this point in time.
So like, I've always pictured for Classic Plus,
it's just a continuation of where Classic Wow ends,
Which does that automatically mean alternate timeline? Maybe not necessarily
Would you guys rather have a continuation after naps? It's like okay now what or would you rather have it just?
Oh gee setting Warcraft 2 3 I haven't really spent too much time thinking about this, but like oh gee could be cool, too
Why not both?
OG setting sounds cool. Continuation. OG, OG, new. Either one.
Like, it could be a cool idea to do that, yeah.
OG is a different game. That wouldn't be Classic Plus. That's kind of true.
It's a cool idea though. I have to say that. It is a cool concept.
You see, the events of Warcraft 1 were all about a thing called the First War.
War. That's located basically at the south of Eastern Kingdoms. It's Stormwind just getting
themselves completely steamrolled. Warcraft II then takes place way up north. It takes
place in Lordaeron. Now the alliance of Warcraft II, the alliance of the Second War, by the
time of Warcraft III had basically fractured because of infighting selfishness and greed,
but it was still quite powerful. So if Lordaeron was to feature and we were to have that
whole region of Eastern Kingdoms fully realized it would be quite cool, because it would give
us finally the chance to see all seven kingdoms of Lordaeron like never before.
So here's the state of play in those kingdoms.
Gilneas, by this point in time, had not built the wall.
Dalaran hadn't yet pissed off into the sky, and Lordaeron, the central kingdom, is basically
seeing itself in a bit of a golden age under Tarenas Menethil, who of course has a son
called Arthas who was set up to inherit- I mean that would be pretty cool.
Then there's Stromgarde which is honestly a bit of a backwater
and there's the kingdom of Altarec which was destroyed in the second.
Dude I just thought of Gbay's most recent video.
Guys we need to get Gbay to go into Lordaeron.
Like we need to get him or like we need to get him to to turn the music up and hear
like the the bells and see the flowers on the ground we need him to get there man
does he he would love that so much war but with no scourge around to wipe out all the humans
there is a bit of a bandit kingdom that still operates in and controls those mountains then
we've got cultur ass which might be a bit hard to fit in at first but if this is to be the base
for years and years of content set within this timeline then the sixth kingdom of order on
cultur ass would of course feature eventually especially if you believe that leak about
warships because Kul'Thuras is all about warships.
Okay, our final kingdom is Stormwind. Now, Stormwind did not feature in the Third
War at all because it was still rebuilding. They were utterly screwed.
But even if the human starting zone and the main stories are in Lordaeron,
I've no doubt we will see the jewel of the modern alliance eventually.
Then we got the Dwarves. And there's not much to say about the Dwarves. They,
at this point in time, are still split into three clans and they control Casmodan.
The gnomes, on the other hand, well, we might finally get to see what Nomergon looked like
before it was gassed. Not a revamped Nomergon like the actual original one. Now that only
leaves us with the Night Elves who are a hard... I should know this, but at what point in the
Warcraft history were the orcs hiding out in Blackrock Mountain?
After the third war from
That was after a third war wasn't it after the second?
Why would I think what I didn't think it was after the third?
Second war some were captured in some head because like that could be kind of sick too
That could be kind of sick too right like you just have the orcs in Black Rock Mountain that would go hard
I've got a lot of different answers. I've seen a bunch of people saying first, a bunch
of people saying second, and a bunch of people saying third. Nice.
Harder fit, like, let's say, the Trolls and the Toren. Still, an outpost in Galax isn't
completely beyond the lore for them. Now, with all that said, it does look like the
perfect jumping off point for future content. We basically start with the Alliance fracturing,
a new horde forming, and the Scourge getting going. Maybe then, over months and years,
We would see those stories unfold until Lordaeron is a wasteland and the orcs have settled in
Durotar.
The opportunity here is undeniable.
So that's the third war stuff.
Let's, though, do the first war.
Because as much as so much of it is really cool, it is a lot easier to deny.
Okay, the first war is the story of Warcraft I. Warcraft I was titled Warcraft Orcs
versus Humans, and that is exactly what it was.
had the Kingdom of Azeroth, which we now just call Stormwind, which is this sort of backwater
farming nation that gets itself completely invaded by green monsters pouring through
a portal. At the time it didn't really have a lot of lore, but by the time Warcraft 2
rolled around, Christmatsen got absolutely to town on the game's manual and some of
the in-game screens, which furnished it with a hell of a lot more story. Of course
by now we all know who those orcs were, we know where they came from, but back
Back then they were basically just red-eyed, bloodthirsty, crazy bastards.
Now canonically in Warcraft 1, the Orcs won the war, burnt down Stormwind, and then regrouped
and marched north to invade Lordaeron.
And it's fair to say there is huge story potential here.
You've got the likes of Gul'dan and his Shadow Council working in the background.
You have Anduin Lothar and his knights, you have Grona, Medivh, Khadgar, all
these huge characters, and in this setting we would see them at their prime. But there
are reasons why I think the first war leaks are a bit harder. Most of the leaks point to
Dalaran still being on the ground and being central to Camelot. It's hard to believe
that the real action of the game would be all the way down south, but the Dalaran,
all the way up north, would feature as a core place. That would be, unless, say,
we start in the north and perhaps the end game is a war against the orcs in the south.
But even then there are problems, like every orc being a rat-eye bloodthirster.
It still is possible to make it work, but it seems to me that the leakers maybe don't have
a full grasp of the lore from this period.
They maybe saw Dalaran on the ground and decided this means it must be right back.
Come on, they don't even know the entire lore.
Like, don't even try to speculate if you don't have a full grasp guys, because
it's embarrassing.
Like, if you guys are missing bits and pieces, please sit to the side and let the real experts have the conversations.
Don't know why this even needs to be said.
During the First War, even though, I would say, an around the Third War does make a lot more sense.
By being said, it is possible that this whole Camelot project is meant to take us through the first three games.
That would be the coolest thing ever, but it is just speculation.
Though if we're speculating, I do have one more option to offer.
They will warn you, it's a bit crazy.
Wait, that actually would be kind of sick.
You have a world of Warcraft that starts with Warcraft 1
and it kind of takes you through
and then you, you know, let's call it class,
let's call it Camelot or Class of Plus, whatever.
And then it goes to Warcraft 2
and it goes through that kind of whole series of events.
Warcraft 3 goes through that
and then you get to like present a while
and maybe even do that stuff.
And then it kind of continues.
I mean, that would be a lot of content, be a lot of content.
That actually could be kind of sick.
Say, for the sake of argument, the leakers have got the timeline thing wrong,
and this is actually something driven fully by the bronze dragonflight.
So it's effectively revisiting the past rather than a different timeline that we play through.
I could see a classic plus where the world is mostly as we know it
and they stitch on a few zones as is expected.
Maybe they just take all of those like little gaps of land
between all the different zones in like classic warcraft and they beef them out and make them
full places. That could totally be done. And that would certainly resemble a classic plus
because it would presumably be built off the bones of classic as we now understand it.
But what then what would you do then? Well, perhaps instead of going forward, maybe
you could go back. Now I bring this up for a very specific reason. A while ago,
I believe it was an entry of the Azucosis, but they basically said that they kind
box themselves in, with the idea that every expansion had to go to a new place.
That basically made a bunch of aspects of the world of Warcraft bit just feel harder
to execute.
Now, if it's to be Classic Plus, then presumably it won't be Classic Plus and also there's
the Dark Portal go have fun in Outland.
That wouldn't really make much sense unless, say, it was covering the Outland campaign
that is, of course, part of Warcraft 2, Beyond the Dark Portal, and Warcraft 3.
But ultimately my point here is that you get to Anchorage and then we all know what happens
next.
It's WoW's first expansion and for a classic plus they obviously wouldn't want to do something
that feels like that.
So you can go super far forward, you can explore the state of the world at that point in time
in great depth.
But what you could actually do is go back, you could go somehow back to the third
war and maybe see Arthas as a noble paladin before we follow his trail.
Dragonflight could be involved. We could go back to the First War for a brutal fight again.
I personally don't like this idea as much as the other ones.
I don't really like the whole like, oh let me go back in time and see what happened as much as like actually just doing it.
Yeah, not a fan of this one.
Hence the Horde. We could go back to the Black Empire and fight the old gods at the height of their power,
power, but where they feel more classic-y. And there is, of course, one other option.
The Empire of Arathor, which does fit the name Camelot rather nicely. Basically, we would
go back to humanity's first empire, fight the Amani and ally with the High Elves. But
most importantly, we meet figures like Meraldaur, the first human to wield the light. And
she did more than introduce the light. You see, after a vision from the Naro, she
letter followers all the way across the world to found the Arathi Empire, which is by the
way now canon and that's all stuff that we get from World of Warcraft the War Within.
That basically means that there is indeed a whole empire of half elves on the other
side of Azeroth. We've not heard much of them since the War Within and I guess this
would be a perfect chance to properly build something big like that into the modern
lore. Now certainly that one is a stretch and if I was making a call on this
project, I would actually veto it. Because when people say they want Classic Plus, it
means they want Classic Plus. That means Warcraft 1, 2, 3, World of Warcraft. And maybe not
necessarily the expansions. Okay, so is any of this stuff true? Well, what I can say
is this game does exist. The roadmap leaked over a year ago and then heroic.
I still hope this isn't the actual roadmap. Goodness gracious.
Epic Editions turned up in the game files, and now we've got separate leaks all lining
up on the same thing. And from what I understand from the rumor mill, from the deep rumor
mill, there is very credible, real stuff floating around there. The sort of thing that gets
talked about in Whisper Networks. I've heard rumors of that. I haven't actually
seen the core stuff myself, but I do actually believe that it is actually real. And I'm
I'm fairly sure that some of the more recent leaks are basically stemming from-
Wait, what was the-
Wait, what's the claim here? That he's heard stuff, but he can't-
There's nothing to share, but he- it's a whisper network?
Wait, what- from what I've heard about the-
What?
From that core source.
So, I do believe that that is real, I have not seen it.
Of course though, what I have seen and what we've all seen is the stuff that lines up
in public with Camelot appearing in the data mining and appearing in that leak of a road
map.
And I should also say that whenever we talked about this story, shortly after Jez Corden
was talking about it for his writing in Windows Central, he is very well connected
with Blizzard and what he said certainly did lend more credence to the idea that
that slate document was indeed a real thing.
So ultimately, Camelot is happening, I am happy to say that.
I can't tell you when it is set, but if I was to place a bet, it would be before the
Third War, where Dalaran is still on the ground, where Thrall is building his horde
up in Altaric, and where Norderon is having its last few good years without knowing
how bad it's all shortly going to go.
That is ultimately the Azeroth that we fell in love with.
And every Warcraft 3 story that we care about, still to this day, is present in that world
and yet to come.
And perhaps most importantly, it would be adapting work that people already love.
Adaptions can go badly.
You know what?
I would trust them to adapt all those stories with respect a hell of a lot more than I would
trust, say, the creation of New Lauren's story within World of Warcraft.
That has at least been my experience of the Midnight expansion and it's why the
The more these leaks come out, the more I can actually see myself switching my flavour
of Warcraft to something called Camelot.
With all that said, I'll see you after Blizzard has come.
Then we will know what Blizzard have been building, but if you want to know directly
from Blizzard some things they may be building that I actually think are for after the
last Titan, well, a survey leaked out and you can learn all about it in the next
video.
All right, all right, wow, cool, that was a video.
I will say this, I have not spent that much time thinking
about this setting of, oh, what about Warcraft II,
Warcraft III era, Warcraft I era?
And I've gotta be honest, that idea is quite intriguing.
Like that could be cool.
I've spent most of my attention thinking about
like, turtle wow, season of discovery,
Ascension like these concepts of like you have wow as it is right like Max is still there
Molten core is still there Kalimdor azeroth and then you add new content like you know
I haven't really put my headspace into that I have to say it actually seems kind of like it could be
kind of a cool idea though right um Bell you are kind of hinting that this sounds almost
more interesting to him as a lore nerd and as more of a retail guy is quite fascinating as well.
So, so yeah. What else is happening guys?
What else is happening? What else is happening?
Some stuff went down in Max last night. I have two insane Oscar clips. I'm down to watch.
I just watched the Oscar clip and oh, no, I yeah, I want it. I don't know the saffron
Yeah, I just I watched a saffron Oscar clip this one already. This one was sick. I didn't see the other one though
You you can get these to get out with it. Yes
It's really bad
Yes, send on this
Kicks. Lots of kicks.
They have a West back here if you get a kill.
Patrick?
Kicks, Kicks, Kicks.
A lot of kicks, a lot of kicks.
Slide it out.
Patrick, you're low.
Stop, Patrick, it's everything.
Patrick, you're low.
That's your low.
He's running.
Tom, Aveda.
He kicks out, kicks out.
She says hi to the watch.
She says hi to the watch.
Longleys, are you close?
Patrick?
Stay, Patrick, stay, Patrick.
Patrick, stay, Patrick, stay, Patrick.
Oscar is such a shad.
Oscar is such a shad.
Stay, Patrick.
Main take energy right here. This is what I wish I could be man look at this
Oscar is a Chad bro. No one dies there
What a beast that guy legit one HP. Yeah, I think his
When he petrious Titans falls off or something swaps the floss goes to one. Yeah
Yeah, minus 35 petries.
Yeah, zero deaths there though is legendary.
Crazy, I didn't see this clip.
I saw the Saf one.
Did I see this, Annie's big announcement?
She said she was pregnant, right?
I don't know if I actually saw the stream.
All right.
I don't know how to say it,
so I'm just gonna say it
and I'm just gonna, I'm, I'm pregnant.
Yo, I actually haven't seen the clip.
Grats to her.
I heard about it.
I haven't, I didn't see the clip.
And does anyone know how long is she?
I know that's awesome.
I almost shed a little tear for a second there.
That's exciting.
Yo, captain, next to the prime.
Yeah.
And it's reaching a point where I can't really hide it anymore.
Yeah, yeah.
Good to say stuff.
Yeah, cool.
Well, massive grads.
I wanted to let you guys know.
Cool.
Well, thanks for sharing.
I did hear about this.
This was like a few weeks back, I think.
Massive, massive grads.
Huge, huge, huge.
Um, um, um, um.
We've got, we've got Willie.
We've got Willie.
As fan finding out of gamescom was hilarious.
Was there a clip of that?
She got the achieve unlocked clap.
Nice.
Did I cry when I found out I was gonna be a father?
Yes, yes.
I almost shed a little tear watching that little clip too.
It's, yeah, it's a big moment, man.
It's a very big moment, very, very big.
Okay, okay.
I refreshed and the audio came back, welcome back.
Being a father is a dream of mine, can't wait.
It is phenomenal, man.
Preach us a good video on Classic Plus.
Yeah, we watched it yesterday.
Being a dad definitely softens you in this way.
Yeah, yeah, I've noticed that.
You know, it's also harder like from being a parent is like watching movies where like
or like stories or like video games where there's a like child or like a son or daughter
and you're, you're watching it through the lens of like a, you know, your father and
And it's like really emotional or like hard to watch or like hard to do like playing through
Fallout 4.
It's like way different when you're a dad versus not a dad or like all of these like
father-son stories like Arthas and with his father in the betrayal is like that is way
different to watch.
All of these things are way different to watch when you're actually there right?
Versus it hits different you know.
actually have not played God of War. There was like another couple. Oh, Game of Throne, not Game of Thrones.
House of the Dragon in multiple ways was like really weird, being a parent, very weird in a lot of ways.
Yeah. Interstellar. So I actually haven't seen interstellar since becoming a father. I've seen interstellar,
But that was like when it came out a long time ago, so I would need to rewatch it as a father
Trying to think what else
Probably like a bunch of them anyway, it's definitely way different
Last of us I'm I'm I'm play last of us
AWC Selfie Clip from Pica. Oh, oh, you found it? Let me watch this real quick.
So this is like the AWC trailers I was talking about. What they used to do, which I don't
think they did in this recent one, is put the team names on their back so you could
tell which team they were from, which was really cool.
This was in 2020, yeah.
And this is Picaboo.
This is the Cloud 19.
He could have taken a selfie with the whole team and he's in his PJs.
I thought that was so sick dude.
So cool.
Yeah, why didn't they do the flags on the back?
I don't know if you guys agree, but like the new video and not having the flags on the
back actually made it way less exciting because the flags you could tell what team they're
from and you can like root for your guy, you know?
That was sick.
That's personal, yeah.
This one was really good.
Peek-a-boo would be in his pajamas, man. Unbelievable.
This this this was a good one, bro
Holy crap that's sick and they're all just kind of like sitting here. This is the trophy you get for winning
They're all just sitting at like the foot of the trophy you have all their flags like cloud nine cold and guardians
This is before
All the sponsors pulled out of wow PvP
I shout it to you every time.
This was fun to watch, fun to watch, fun to watch.
Oh gosh, I have too many tabs open.
Okay, here it is, really.
Yo, Kruthalis, thanks for the tier one.
Why did the sponsors pull out?
It turns out, believe it or not, that WoWPVP is actually not a profitable space for sponsorships,
I guess.
So a lot of the teams actually stopped sponsoring teams.
It actually, like I joke about it, but I actually, it actually does hurt to say that.
It actually sucks.
It's like, WoWPVP is such a big part of my life.
And I feel like, it sucks.
It does suck.
I love it so much.
It's like sucks that it can't.
Yeah, it is what it is, I guess, you know?
Kind of all eSports went down.
Yeah, in a sense, there was like an eSport bubble, right?
Like, I actually didn't realize this
except until I was in it,
is that nearly every eSports organization
was running at a loss
and had to cut like,
like this was like a few years back,
had to cut like all the costs,
like cut all of their streamers, cut all of their pro players.
Like you've seen all of these teams
just like drop all of their teams.
And you're like, what the heck, man?
I loved watching that.
It turns out like pretty much every eSports org
was losing money across the board, like all of them.
I think that only one that was not losing money was like
TSM, but they were not losing money
because of another investment they had in an app
that they created or helped create.
like they made their money through that and that wasn't actually anything to do
with like the actual org but like so it showed profitability but like the point
is it wasn't profitable for like anyone. Oh thanks Ben. I was watching a YouTube
video. It hasn't started yet. I'm doing stuff in here. It's important, it's
important stuff. Shannon comes in she's like why is your screen black? What are
you doing? So you just sitting there all day? Guys, I'm not sitting here all day. I'm doing
important stuff in here, alright? Oh my gosh. Anyway, like I was saying, I actually didn't
realize that until I was in it, but yeah, every eSports award was just losing money.
So not even just wow, like across the board, that's why like, if you guys notice,
they all, a lot of them just like don't exist anymore.
Like a lot of teams just got cut
it's because they were just bleeding out money
all over the place.
Overwatch, boom.
How does that even make sense?
It was all borrowed money.
It was all borrowed time.
Like it was all like VC, money, pumped in.
Ooh, this is gonna be big.
And then like a lot of people do watch
but it wasn't like as profitable as people thought.
So like way more money was being pumped into it
than all the money dried up and it was like, wait, maybe not.
So yeah, loans, exactly.
Well, find out if you see money.
Does your wife know how big you are
the WoW stream, the WoW realm.
I've told her once or twice that I'm a
20 plus time rank one player,
that I'm a gold high elo,
awry main in League of Legends.
Maybe once or twice.
Well.
All right.
I'm gonna play this one guys
and continue eating. Let's enjoy.
Every game that runs long enough is bound to leave behind some major points during its development
where it changes significantly going forwards.
And oftentimes with games it's difficult to pinpoint exactly when those moments are.
However, this isn't really the case with World of Warcraft as Blizzard have always worked on an expansion basis.
And during every expansion they tend to push some new feature onto the game which is going to modify it significantly.
And I was thinking what would be the largest feature which has been added in every single
World of Warcraft expansion so far.
All the way back from Vanilla to today in Midnight, some of these were very much successes right
from the get go, others had to undergo a bit of development shall we say before they
were in their best possible state.
But with that said, these have to be some of the most defining moments of World of Warcraft's
20 year history.
Starting off with Vanilla is a bit of an odd thing because it is the very beginning
they really didn't have anything else to go off of.
These were a bunch of guys making a game which they thought sounded cool, and that really
is all there was to it.
But what had to have gotten back then was just the scope of how big this game was actually
going to be.
Over the middle of the launch late 2004 the team reportedly considered somewhere around
500,000 subscribers a massive success, and they hit that amount and then just never
stopped climbing.
Within months there were millions of players who had stepped into Azeroth and were experiencing
it first hand.
of the MMO had ever come close to this level of success. The trouble was the development
team had to scramble to match the game's own popularity. The launch was a wall of multiple
hour long log-in queues, constant server crashes, brutal latency, and hardware that
simply wasn't fit for purpose, and Blizzard were having to constantly adapt to see how
they could meet this ever-growing demand. I don't think any moment-driven era encapsulates
this better than the opening of the gates of Anchorage. It was a crazy ambitious idea.
A server-wide war effort event where one singular player would rise above all others and be the
person to really open the raid. On paper it was probably the coolest thing the game had
ever attempted. In practice when rounds actually started opening the gates individually, it
was a technical disaster. Her renders-like server crashes throughout days and nights,
dying in getting fun from random graveyards on the other side of the world, it was in
equal parts ambitious and crazy. I'm really thinking forwards to World of Warcraft so
many years later Blizzard have never quite attempted something like this, on this scale
that brings so many different people together. This is why I think it's the perfect moment
to start off with for vanilla. It was really Blizzard realizing how big this game could
potentially be, and how they needed to approach it in the future, if they were
going to be meeting this massive demand. And then we move through the dark portal into the
burning crusade of the first.
Bro, I can only imagine if you're blizzard and you just see this happening. Like he said
that your expectation is like here of a mass like this, this is a massive success like
500,000 subs is a massive success. It's like, wow, we made it. We're the biggest
MMO in the market and it just like goes to like here.
I bet like you're just, you're going through the moon.
Like you're just like over the moon excited.
You're like, holy crap.
And then it just like doubles again.
And then it doubles again.
And it's like, and then it's just like the eight mil.
You're probably just like, what the heck?
I think this is, we talked about this before,
but this is probably why Blizzard completely dropped the
ball on Dota, Dota two, I guess,
because they were just in the midst of this.
It was just complete chaos of like, holy crap,
we were onto the biggest thing ever.
And then like, TVC launches and then,
and then the whole like League of Legends
Dota thing started and like Blizzard basically
could have like won that race too,
but they focused on a while I guess.
Where were we?
Well, we were all stuck to the floor,
but the burning crusade changed that
with something that the game had never seen so far,
Unless you were taking a flight path that was, flying, once you hit level 70 or as a druid
at level 68, you could unlock flying, and finally take to the skies without just being
on a flight path, an epic flying back then would say you back a huge 5000 gold, which
was an unimaginable volume of gold back then, and flying absolutely changed how Blizzard
had to design the world fundamentally forevermore, Outland zones were fractured
chance of rock floating in the twisting nether and several endgame destinations tempest keep
among them required you to have flying to reach them during the start. I don't know if I was a
weirdo in TBC like OG TBC, but a lot of the time that I spent was just spent flying around farming
gold. Like I did my gold farm back then was I would fly around and get adamentite ore and
and I believe I coupled it with clouds or something,
clouds and ore or something.
And I would just fly around like all night,
just chilling and farming gold.
And so I ended up getting my Epic Mount,
which was like pretty cool back then, like the fast one.
I didn't get it right away.
It took many months of farming that I got it.
And I was like super stoked.
And then I ended up getting a ton more gold
and then loaning my friend gold.
Yeah, no problem, no problem, Greg.
I got you, bro.
I remember I loaned him gold to get his,
and then it took him the rest of the expansion
to pay me back.
I think like to this day, he was like,
he's like, I'm never,
it was like this brutal experience for him.
He paid me back like 20 gold at a time
over the course of like two years.
Maybe he repaid me like mid-rath or something exactly.
Anyway, I guess the point was like,
such a big part of the game for me back then
was literally logging in and making gold.
I don't know, like, can any of you relate to that?
And then in RAF or Pada, I did a bunch of like,
inscription and like, jewel crafting and like, farming.
No, wait, you guys weren't, yeah, maybe this was just me.
Literally, I just logged in.
I remember doing like, like land parties
with all my friends that we would,
we would all like, play WoW.
And like, a lot of the times I would just run around
and farm gold.
I would just farm gold all day.
I don't know, farming gold is not fun for 99% of people.
It's not that it's fun, it's more like relaxing
and you can see the money bar go up.
It's like satisfying, it's kind of like playing RuneScape.
It's like satisfying, it's not like fun.
It's like you log in and you like,
you're just seeing the gold go up
and you're like, all right, I'm doing something.
You know, you turn, yeah, you turn your brain off
you're doing something, flying around, collecting ore, you know, number go up.
Yeah, the RuneScapers will understand, yeah.
That's a TBC you couldn't even summon in Neve Storm because Blizzard wanted you to go on
by a flying mountain get there yourself.
Verticality suddenly became a design tool, and from that point on every zone had to
consider where players would be able to get to, when they can go through the air.
Of course flying would like to be extended to old Azeroth during the cataclysm where Blizzard would massively revamp the world,
and during worlds of Drain or Blizzard actually designed another expansion where they did not intend to put flying in the game.
However players have become so accustomed to their convenience and coolness of flying that they ask for it back non-stop,
and so Blizzard would eventually introduce the Pathfinder achievement, which could lead players back to their beloved mounts.
You know, it's really fascinating because if you ask me what's my worst, my least favorite expansion,
I'll say Warlords of Draenor like most of the time. Like I just really don't like it.
But when you think of like some of the stuff that they were trying in Draenor, it was actually
really ahead of their time. So this was like about 10 years ago or a little more. And they
were trying the concept of how about no flying in our new expansion to get people back on the
ground and playing how we used to. Another key selling point of Draenor was like, let's
Actually take abilities away and get back to simpler rotations where people just have a few key abilities kind of how it was like in classic
Like they actually had some really good ideas in Draenor ten years ahead of their time, but it was really um
One I think the execution was quite poor
Like they they took away like wrong abilities, I think from classes so that you didn't actually feel good
But two I think it proves the point that we were talking about earlier with like flying
It's not something that you can just like give to someone and then take it away because once you have it you always want it
It's like giving a kid candy and then taking it away
They're not gonna be happy, right?
like uh, I
Mean I have a little two-year-old so I got I know how that goes if you give him something
You can't just like take it away right away. Look he's gonna start crying
Right, you can't give a wow player a flying mountain to take it away. They're gonna cry in the forums
But if you never had it in the first place the game does feel pretty darn nice
But you can't give it and take it away, so it doesn't really work for that reason either
But I have to say they were like ahead of their time and just didn't really work
But when Blizzard put flying in the game in TBC
It made the game a whole lot more complicated for them
Next up is no friend with Rafa the Lich King and Rafa's remembered as the peak of World of Warcraft's popularity
And the big reason for that is it's because when Blizzard made the game the easiest to play that it's ever been
There are so many examples of what they did in patch 3.3 join the final patch they introduced the cross round dungeon finder.
Before that I remember trying to get my daily's dungeon raffle a lich king sitting in Dauran and hoping that a tank popped up so I could scoop him up and go get the dungeon.
Raffle also had dual talent specializations you could swap between different specs albeit it cost a thousand gold back then.
There were airlands on top of that, Blizzard squished the amount of experience you needed to level up, classes got far more powerful, way more classes got interrupts or defensive cooldowns or offensive cooldowns or mobility, it was truly an absolutely massive time for change.
Well I think if you played Wrath Classic looking back to it, then you may come to appreciate that Wrath of the Lich King was really quite a big turning point in Warcraft's history, especially when it came to convenience.
It's no surprise that during Wrath of the Lich King the old school players started to call a newer crowd Wrath Babies. They haven't grown up with how difficult it was.
Wrath Babies bro, they don't understand what we went through.
Slow and grindy the game used to be, this new age world of Warcraft was something different.
Sure it was popular, but it wasn't quite the same either.
Onwards though we head through to the cataclysm and the whole entire old world was revamped.
And Cater absolutely gets a rough reputation, however right towards the end of the expansion
it introduced arguably one of the most impactful updates World of Warcraft has ever seen.
In patch 4.3 that's alongside Dragon Soul, yet that disaster of a raid, Blizzard also
introduced transmogrification, for the first time you could change the appearance of your
weapons and armor whilst keeping the stats of whatever you were actually wearing.
Prior to this the way your character looked was dedicated entirely by how effective the
gear was in PvE or PvP, and by whatever put out the best numbers, and in doing so
created a whole new reason to run old content and farm old gear.
with transmog people are running molten core again to try and get their tier 1 or figuring
out just how many old raids can I possibly solo.
I think transmog for retail has definitely been one of the most successful updates ever
and it's really something that stood the test of time.
I know people like it and I know it's one of the most successful things in the game
with the biggest, one of the biggest things in the game and one of the reasons people
play the game but I still don't like it man.
I like to see what people actually look like, I'm not a big transmog guy, no thank you.
I, I know, I, I want to see what, what, what you're working with.
If you want to naturally then put on your tier three in AFK in a city, go for it.
But, ah, shh, just saying.
And it's allowed tons of players to express different ways for their characters to lock.
But if Cataclysm planted the cosmetic seed, Mr. Pandaria was where collection became
a fully fleshed out part of the game.
The groundwork was laid in the pre-expansion for map on patch 5.04.
Wimbles and a pets mouse and achievements account wide.
Everything you've been working to on your main was now accessible across so many different
characters, and this made farming a multiple characters view or appealing as well.
Pandaria then lay on top the pet battle system, a complete hand-based minigame with its
own progressions, rarities and hundreds of creatures to catch and level.
And there were so many open world treasures to find from things which were actually
effective in combat to things which would change your appearance. And to add it all off
at the end of Missa Pandaria was the Timeless Isle, the ultimate go and do stuff here when
you've got nothing else to do place to go. And in future expansions Blizzard would very
much replicate the Timeless Isle in zones such as Tanahm Jungle, Sarumar, Argus, and
many more zones in the future.
But none of them were as good as the Timeless Isle. Timeless Isle is like, so like,
it's nostalgia talking this place was so fun so much little detail like walking on
the ropes you could do that use that item that made you like hostile to all
factions and PvP people bunch of stuff to collect rares world bosses like I
remember after school or like I think this is college after maybe I was a
senior in high school or freshman in college and I would just like hang out
and like on this island is PvP all day like oh it was fun bro
Future. Typically at Engen now a mod of Warcraft you'll find there's a zone with just loads
of collection stuff, and I think the timeless aisle was the original one, but overall Mr
Pandaria for me was really the rise of collection as a form of Engen content.
And then after Mr Pandaria we went back in time to Warlord's of Draenor in a rather
strange twist of fate following along Garrosh's journey to the past I suppose. Much like
Cataclysm Warlord's of Draenor is one of those expansions that people do not
remembered too fondly and with very good reason it was very very thin on content and Blizzard
had to cancel so many cool ideas like the Shatraf raid, the Feralon zone which should have been
the TPC equivalent of Nathastorm and many more things. Nevertheless War to Jano did bring in
one big new feature to World of Warcraft one that stuck to this day and one that has been
a source of so much content and that is Mythic Raiding. Now Mythic Raiding has actually
brought in during the wall or to drain or prepatch and technically the first ever
mythic raid was the siege of Orgrimmar during this subhandariah however it was
during the ward prepatch so uncounting it as a ward piece of content blizzard
had been going back and forth with how they wanted raiding to work for years
at this point in time we had 40 or 20 player aides in vanilla 25 or 10 in
TBC then in wrath we had 25 and 10 we had hard modes we had heroics we had
staggered what kind of fluid had attained. They did basically everything possible in Rafferla
Lichting, and then Cataclysm came along and stuck to 10 or 25 Heroic. Mr Pandari were built on that
system also offering LFR, normal, Heroic, Flex, and Mythic. There was a ton of raiding to do
during Seju Alchemar and honestly it was horribly confusing by the end of it. But this new
Mythic mode was going to modernize and simplify raiding so now you only had LFR, normal,
heroic and mythic. And mythic was where you went if you were the absolute best of the best and you
really wanted to push yourself. One of the key things to know about mythic is that it was 20
player only, so no longer did Blizzard have to bounce bosses for differing raid size groups between
10 or 25, because when they had to do this on some old bosses, some of them would be much
easier with 10 and some much easier with 25. For instance imagine you have a mechanic that
gradually fills up the room with something on the floor you have to avoid. That's gonna
gonna be easier to avoid with 10 players because you just have fewer players.
And with Mythic Models it absolutely started to push the boundaries of how difficult they
could make raiding content be in World of Warcraft.
Many years later now it's still a huge deal with Eraserworld first being a massive event
that thousands of people enjoy.
And I think Mythic Mod was finally the raiding formula which gave the top 1% of the players
something to aspire to that the game had really needed for a long time.
Ward Adrenal was the far better received Legion expansion. After what felt like years of content
drought in Ward, Legion was absolutely packed with content. You had your order whole quick.
Legion was like pretty nice in the sense that like so mop was like peak PVP for a lot of
people not for everyone. There was a lot of content creation, you know, you have
soda pop and start a stream, wreck full. Like, you know, it was just like Mitch Jones,
You know, like it was just crazy, it was fun, it was sick.
And then Wad came out and it was just like pretty miserable,
I would say for like most people,
like all the content creators just kind of stopped.
I think Wreckful stopped streaming and Wad
and so did the other stuff.
And like everyone was just like, okay,
this just isn't that good, which sucked like a lot.
And then Legion came out and like Legion
was actually like a little better than Wad.
It was like, it was kind of like this cool little
Revival it's like oh nice the game actually isn't awful again soda came back
I think Refl might have came back a bit Mitch came back a bit
I think so do you even got rank one and lesion like it was like it was like good enough to actually want to play
It's like whoa cool
And then we had I mean we'll get to it then we had another
Series of events, but it was kind of nice, you know to get the get the game back a little bit
Yes, your artifact power farming, all your new artifact weapons to unlock the Soromar storyline,
hidden artifact appearances and so much more.
I think this is one of the reasons why Legion is so well remembered.
People were so bored off the back of all of the drain or Legion just threw all this stuff
at them to do, and people were so ready for it.
One of the biggest new features that Legion would bring in would be Mythic Plus.
And Mythic Plus had very much been an idea that had been gradually growing for
Blizzard over several expansions.
whilst raiding content had remained relevant through transmogrification, dungeons were kind
of falling off kind of fast, people would do them to level up, they'd do them for the
first week or two at Endgame, and then they'd be largely forgotten. Blizzard wanted to keep
this content relevant. At first they'd experimented with doing this through heroic dungeon difficulty
in TBC, Rath and Cataclysm, and then in Missa Pandaria and Water they would have
challenge modes which would set your gear at a certain item level, and see how fast
you could run the dungeon, however the rewards here were very much just cosmetic.
Mythic Plus instead was going to add newer fixes onto dungeons in another scaling format.
It wasn't just can we defeat the dungeon within the time limit that Blizzard has assigned,
it was now how far can you push that dungeon, what affixes are available this week, what
kind of loot comes from that dungeon and so on and so forth.
Now Mythic Plus was very rough around the edges at the start of Legion, I think if
If you took the average Mythic Plus Enjoy nowadays and put them back at the version we had in Legion, they would say,
Yeah the modern version so much better than this. Blizzard had changed this system significantly since then.
However it was Legion that laid the groundwork for this to happen.
And these days Mythic Plus is even more popular than raiding content. It really has taken over as a cornerstone at the endgame of World of Warcraft.
And because of that I think it absolutely deserves a mention.
following a huge win that was legion we went into the battle of Razoroth.
An expansion where things unfortunately did not continue so successfully for Blizzard.
And unfortunately I think the next two expansions are gonna be too hard to lessons that Blizzard
have had to learn.
So I'm sure if you play back then or even if you haven't you may have heard the term
borrowed power in Ward of Warcraft.
The whole idea of this is based around the fact that during an expansion
you gained tons of power and then at the start of the next expansion
your character loses that power and sometimes it's replaced with something else.
By the end of Legion, our characters were the most powerful.
Um, this is like a, a slightly different conversation,
but I was listening to the Ampy Savics podcast, some of the clips from it,
and Ampy actually said something that I really agree with, um, to Savics.
He said that the big reason he doesn't like world buffs,
or at least the, he said that world buffs are very problematic,
is because that it gives your character way too much borrowed power.
So he gave like the example of like a warrior who has no world buffs versus a warrior with world buffs.
He said that world buffs are like more valuable than like all your gear.
Like world buffs are like stronger than your character itself.
Like you're gaining more DPS through the world buffs than you are through like all of your armor.
Like you could have a previous warrior with full world buffs doing more damage than like a warrior with like pretty solid gear, but no world buffs like that's the problem is that they're so darn good.
So he's like, yeah, probably just like get rid of them.
So it's it's just a very problematic thing to have that much power put into a buff.
So I thought that was really well said by Anthony.
Full they have ever been, in World of Warcraft and probably, will ever be, people were doing
millions and millions of DPS, I'd be surprised if we see those numbers again you know.
And a lot of that was centered around our artifact weapon and just how inflated gear had become.
So drawing BFA Blizzard wanted to hit the reset button, however they also wanted to keep
this idea of borrowed power around since it had gone well during Legion, and the
brand new idea they had was Azorite Armor, these were pieces of armor that had certain
bonuses on which you will be able to unlock. But in reality Azurite ammo was just never
quite as exciting as artifact weapons were, and many of the bonuses were just sort of
plain and things which occurred passively in combat. But your NBFA was even further
than that would borrow power, later adding on Azurite essences which were really powerful
and finally during the end of the expansion they even had corruptions. These were modifications
to your base gear where they could have random procs that would do random amounts
of damage randomly and there's procs without the
Okay, I actually hate to say this because like I didn't like BFA necessarily as like
a game or an expansion, but the gameplay of BFA itself in Arena specifically and Mythic
Plus was actually quite fun.
From the mage perspective, I had fun in BFA arenas as a mage and in Mythic Plus.
It was actually pretty darn fun.
I hate to admit it because everyone always hates on BFA, which I agree with.
Like there was some really bad decisions.
But the gameplay, which I think is actually quite critical in Mythic Plus and Arena from
the mage Bob was fun.
I really think. I really think. It was fun.
EPS, your actual rotation. It's probably one of the most weird and stupid errors of World
of Warcraft we've ever seen when it came to performance individually. Yet it was so wacky
that I know a lot of people did enjoy it at the same time just because it was so
unserious.
Yeah, that's kind of why. It was so crazy that it's like, wait a minute, this is
actually kind of fun that's kind of that's kind of how it was for me but I think the
big lesson for Blizzard during BFA in the turning point here was the fact that borrowed power can
only go so far people generally don't want to get to the expansion of feelers that a character has
got vastly weaker what makes your class and spec enjoyable has to be down to its own rotation
and to some extent it has to be things that can be carried over into the next expansion
And then as the second part of the one-two punch we now have the Shadowlands.
You know when Shadowlands was underway it had so much hype and it looked as though Blizzard were really going to be turning a corner after BFA.
People were cautiously optimistic about this expansion.
And then it began and, well, pretty much immediately things started going rather pear shaped.
I think there are two real learning points from Shadowlands which are equally both as important as one another.
The first of which has to be the brand new Covenant system.
So during Shadowlands there's several reputations called Covenants.
You can only pick one of these at once and when you pick them they give you some new powerful abilities.
However these abilities are not necessarily as good in all areas of content.
For example for one Covenant they may give you the best thing from Ithic Plus.
Another one for PvP and another one for Raiding.
This force players to make a choice of which Covenant they wanted to side with,
and which brand new ability was most important to them.
But people did not like being locked into that decision
because it just meant that whilst they were good at one thing, they would then be sub-powered
over things compared to people who are pigs on the other car.
Bro, I think there's so many things I'm excited for in Classic Plus, but I think the number
one thing I'm excited for is to have, and maybe I shouldn't make this as an assumption,
because maybe this won't be the case, but, is to have a home again.
Like to have a home again.
I feel like retail for so long was that for me.
And I think at some point I was just like,
okay, well, let me do all the seasonal stuff
and have fun here, have fun there, have fun there.
But I haven't had a WoW to just,
like we don't know what's gonna happen to MoP.
We don't know what's gonna happen to TBC.
I want a WoW to be able to just be like, yeah,
here we go, man, we're playing WoW, you know?
You have a home in Arizona, bro.
Housing, lol.
Nice guys. Nice. You got it.
Overnance. Blizzard ended up sticking pretty firm with this system for a long time before
finally allowing you to just pick whichever covenant you wanted to. But I think it was
a lesson in not forcing players into a decision where too much power is tied into it. Arguably
the even bigger learning point from the Shadowlands though was that, you know what,
lore in this game, kind of matters. The story of Shadowlands was just honestly
some more baffling with Sylvanas coming out to every single corner and outsmarting everyone
whilst being infinitely powerful and our super-new Ultima bag-guided Jailer who have been planning
everything that had gone bad since, well, just about the dawn of World of Warcraft apparently,
somehow.
It never been mentioned before but, uh, yeah he did.
And the big payoff for all these new villains and the story unfolding was, well, there'll
be something worse that'll happen but we're not going to tell you what it is.
All in all it was just a disappointment for lore fans both of those who are die-hards
of the subject, and those were really trying to get invested into it for the first time.
And honestly during this expansion I think a lot of people lost a lot of faith with Blizzard's
ability to tell a story.
But then we head on to Dragonflight and things start picking up again for World of Warcraft.
In some ways this is a bit of a spiritual successor to TBC because whilst TBC gave
us flying, the flying version that it gave us was very rigid.
You'd hop on your mount, you point them in a direction and then you'd just go
to get a drink or something for 30 seconds and come back.
Dragonflight had there was brand new was Dragonriding, a brand new way to see the
skies wheel mouse going to be far more dynamic, customizable, fast and just more
fun in general to use rather than pointing it in a direction. Now mouse
working that this was not exactly something novel to World of Warcraft
to Guild Wars 2 had done it many many years before however it was pretty
much an instant hit all the same and over time was a little more Dragonriding
type features for many old mouse too. Like this this reminds me the
conversation we were having a couple hours ago where we were watching the Aiki video
like maybe an hour or two ago and he was talking about like how to make retail
feel small and homey again so you actually walk into your and walk around
and meet your fellow wow player and like when I see stuff like this it reminds
me of like you can't eat like you have dragon riding bro like you can't you
can't do that. Like you could build that in Classic Plus, but like for retail, you're
moving so fast, like you can't turn an apple into an orange. An apple is always going to
be an apple. No matter how much you want your apple to be an orange, it won't be an orange.
It's an apple. Right. That's kind of like this. Does that make sense? Is RU 2026?
Many different things in your collection suddenly became way more interesting to use.
It was a good albeit unexpected update and I think Dragon Riding was the main thing to
highlight for Dragon flights.
Next is the war within.
So for the most of Lord of Warcraft's life cycle, the anger-
Okay yeah, you could paint the apple orange.
And it technically would be orange.
That's not the point.
You guys missed the point.
Alright, forget it.
Forget I even said it.
AIM had 3 different departments you had raiding, Mythic Plus, and PvP, if you wanted to play
seriously on your own you were kind of a bit out of luck at max level, unless you were
a cosmetic farmer of course.
That finally changed with a brand new feature called DELVS.
DELVS are small instances that you can run solo or you can even team up if you want
to.
They're designed to not take too long and you have an NPC helper to come along,
who spec you can designate as well.
The real good thing about Dells is they gave people who are a bit shorter on time a real
path towards end game gearing.
I think part of Dells was Blizzard acknowledging that their player base is, you know, getting
a bit older with the game as well and, well, maybe that everyone has all the time to sit
inside a raid for several hours a few...
Older?
Okay.
A few times a week anymore.
I think Dells were absolutely the unnecessary stat for retail and for so many players
they've allowed them to experience challenging content once again,
whilst being on a bit more of a limited time schedule.
Which finally brings us to Midnight.
And whilst Midnight's not quite at its end yet,
its most impactful feature is without a doubt already released and that is player housing.
You know even during World of Warcraft's beta and alpha Blizzard were experimenting with player housing.
There's that huge portcullis with the blue swirly portal behind it in Stormwind,
that was supposed to be the housing district of that.
This is something Blizzard have wanted to do essentially forever, and, they finally did it.
After doing a bit of research on Google, it says that you can in fact make an apple taste like an orange.
To midnight, so our last players can finally build something of their own.
Alright, I guess I'm wrong.
And then there's a ton more customization and collection into the game.
There's even housing neighborhood you can share with multiple other people.
I think all in all housing has been the biggest feature of the expansion and the most heavily advertised on that's for sure
And it's something that will continue to grow significantly as each new expansion comes by
And though we have it, there's what I think are some of the most impactful moments during World of Warcraft's 20 plus year history
Rain due from the explosive growth of vanilla through to the convenience of wrath
All the way to modern expansions where new impactful features keep on coming out
And I think whilst World of Warcraft definitely has its formula now in terms of what new content will be in each expansion,
it's still always exciting to look out for that brand new feature which changes the game once again forever.
So what do you think? What would you have as the most impactful feature of each expansion?
Let me know in the comments down below.
And as always, thank you all so much for watching and listening in, and I'll see you all in the next one.
Very soon.
I love Willy's content man. It's just chill relaxing. It's just like little fun facts. It's great
Thank You Willy
All right guys, I don't I don't think I can react any longer. I my brain is turned to mush that is like I
Think we got every video on here
Yeah close enough I'm gonna jump around on World of Warcraft
No, Gbay, I already watched Gbay yesterday.
Like the video?
I think I did give it a like.
Did I miss the thumbs up?
I saw Esfan playing the new NoPixelGTARP and heard Soda is going to try it.
Did you get invited?
Yeah, guys, of course I got invited to play, obviously.
I got invited I I actually can't I actually can't make it though is what I told them and
Cuz I'm because I'm busy
But yeah, obviously could go to that if I felt like I wanted to
Which I don't really feel like I do currently
All right, let's clear out the inventory just a little bit and
And head over to Stratholm
That's probably fun there off with yeah is this era or TBC TBC you get your ten games
in this week yeah I did but we went four and nine which looks bad but that does make
me one of the highest rated Prott Paladins in the entire world. Black temple time? Um,
I guys, I think the black temple dream is pretty dead. Um, I've been looking for weeks and there
is no daytime groups. So that's just what it is. It's not that my care. Look, look, guys,
My character is juiced to the gills in gear man. We are juiced to the gills in the gear
It's not about that. It's just at this point. It's cheese. You know what I'm saying?
I'm sorry sorry, but you're so delusional
What do you mean by that
What's up, sir, how's it going Jack?
Hey, we got a $10 super chat from player a lot and says hey man any last predictions or
Expectations going into blizzcon
Hmm I
Want classic plus I
Want it to not suck I
Want it to be good enough to where I want to play multiple characters
Yeah, it's pretty much, yeah, it's pretty much that.
Guys, there is no Classic Plus, it's the Starcraft MMO.
There is something on the Starcraft website that looks really interesting.
Starcraft fall I want Wow on console come on I play the heck out of a Starcraft
MMO dude I've made that claim it's not even a claim I've made the what word am I
looking for here. Assessment that all popular MMOs are fantasy based. They have mages and
warriors and hunters and archers not okay not all but most all popular MMOs are fantasy
based. So I've made the claim from what I've witnessed and I don't know if there
can be a Starcraft MMO that could be bigger than like a WoW one.
You should take your 1 to 15 experience on Eera and do a retrospective on it before BlizzCon.
Final thoughts before CL Plus and stuff you know.
Yo Moose, I'm flying out like tomorrow. So I don't even know if I could do a
a one through 15. Yeah, thanks for the fine, Ben. There was a Star Wars MMO. Yeah, what
happened to it? That's my point. Every time you see it, you see like all, you see all
of the popular MMOs follow the same trend. Right? I'm not saying it can't exist. I'm
I'm saying to rival the popularity of the top ones,
my claim is that they're all fantasy games, man.
And I was trying to understand why the other month,
like why is it the case that you see fantasy games
at the top of the MMO genre?
It's not like a lot of like Starcraft-themed games.
And someone in my chat said,
it's because we're all humans
and going back to primitive human survival is really cool.
And I think that guy was right.
It's like going back to fighting with swords and bows and I mean magic is a bit of a stretch, but still magic and that kind of stuff is like just this really cool experience as a human, whereas fighting in space is cool, but not as cool for an MMO setting.
So I think that's why.
I said that, that was you? Well, you were right then.
Or I think you were right.
It's all things to token maybe do you like runescape? I love runescape. Yeah, I
Said that no I said it
Did brother get golden quit or just taking a break for the con no I didn't quit because I peaked that is not what happened I
Am taking a break for the con
Have you still not read Lord of the Rings?
I have not.
I have not.
I have not.
I have not.
Aren't you also taking a break from RuneScape?
Guys, any game that I'm not currently playing right now, I'm taking a break from.
It's pretty much all you need to know.
RIP New World, bro.
I've been watching New World streams at night.
I swear I'm like kinda itching to play some New World.
I don't know where this came from.
It came out of nowhere.
And
I've been like itching to like play some new like the wars in that game were so fun like the world PvP
Like it probably wouldn't be like what I envisioned it to be after playing and probably get bored in 20 minutes
But like it still seems like kind of fun
New world's last patch was fire. I didn't play it. I was actually going to and then
They they it was so the timing is so awkward
They basically dropped a new patch that was like really good and people liked it and then right after they said
They are shutting the game down
So like I was about to play it
Showback was playing if you guys remember and he said it was good and I was talking to show back and he's like yeah, bro
Try it. I'm like, okay
I'll try it and then I was gonna play it and then they said they're shutting the game down
And I'm like well, what's the point now?
Same boat for me, yeah.
It shut down.
It's shutting down in January of next year.
So it wasn't like an immediate shutdown, it'll be like a one-year shutdown and we're getting
close to the end of that.
You got Thunder Fury since when?
I did a molten core like six months ago or something and got a thunder fury.
Oh, yo, Denver is doing the same thing I'm doing.
What's my slash plate on this guy?
We're at 21 days on this character, which isn't like that crazy.
Right.
I emphasis on a molten core.
Yeah, yeah, I did a molten core.
That's right.
It's the one where his GM friends helped him. I don't have GM. Well, I
If I had GM friends, I would never ask them for help
Final answer
Can I get the- if I run right away can I get this guy?
No I don't think so huh?
Oh maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe,
maybe with a speed plot?
I know what the mage you can, if with blink, but I don't know if the panel you can.
Skill issue, that is not a skill issue, it's a limitation of the spec that I'm playing.
Link and Rocket Boots? Oh, we got Rocket Boots.
Not that I even need it though, like, what's the point?
Oh, Numbers.
Numbers, Numbers, Numbers.
Very big numbers
Use full flame I don't like to I happen to my bank, but I don't like to use it
What level can I do this with my panel? You can do it at 70. If you don't have good gear, you do have to min-max
and get certain items. Like if you have bad gear, you want to use Demonforged breastplate and Skullflame shield or like Petrified Lichenguard.
But if you have good gear, it doesn't really matter what you have. As long as you have
figurine of the Colossus you're set.
But with worse gear, you'd also want to use
use DeBiri's enigma for extra block chance on use.
The bug where I can't scroll down the loot on most of these mobs is so annoying. What's
causing that?
Okay, there we go.
I'll take it.
What's the add-on that shows what buffs you need to put on, like food buff?
Um, yeah, what is that, Nova buff tracker or something?
Nova Consume Helper.
I swear that's actually just such a nice add-on to have when you're flying classic WoW.
Nova Consume Helper.
Early flight tomorrow for the Khan?
Yeah, I'm actually gonna get off early today so we can just like pack up and chill out
I mean it never really gets old.
It never really gets old.
Nah, I'm going solo tomorrow, Spectre.
This looks like a satisfying way to make gold.
Oh, it's great, yeah.
right or is worse yeah it is I was actually surprised to find out that was the case but
I did the math and it's like so much of your damage comes from consecration that like 10%
more damage on consecration is better how come you don't play European TBC seems like
the raid times would line up better. I was talking about that yesterday. I absolutely should
achievement earned pocket change. Actually download an add-on that gives like TBC some
like achievement tracking. It's called Big Number Good. Where it'll tell you like what
you've done. Haven't really looked at it too much. Writing skill, I don't know. It's
kind of sick. Would you want area looting and classic plus? I actually like don't care
that much but I don't know. I was talking to Ampy the other year about a wee looting and Ampy
seemed to not like it. I feel like it's one of those things I'm indifferent about. If they add it
I'd probably be like oh nice and if they don't add it I'd probably be like oh that's fine.
Like there's so many so many things like that that I don't care about and I'm more focused
on like some big things that I do care about. Oh what I got all the way through there I
I even know you can do that. I ran all the way through in one go. We'll take it
Got a set up in EU tune. Yeah, like so
If I could do it all over again
I probably would make an EU TBC tune
But it is what it is like I actually have way more of a schedule that lines up with European rating
than NA raiding and it's not even close like I haven't really been able to find
too many NA raids but when TBC came out I was playing with all my friends and
they played but now they all quit so that's kind of why too
Oh, yeah.
Like Savvix and Amp were playing on my realm when TBC came out, so I had like a daytime raid team. It was great.
Honestly, I probably could plop wings since I never really need to bubble.
But it's kind of nice having 12-hole chest in case.
Is that max rank Holy Shield?
Nah, I'm just using rank 1.
Is the farm really profitable?
It's about 50 gold a run.
Runs take about 10 minutes, so I guess pretty good.
I think he's just taking a short break pre Blizzcon doing some IRL stuff.
He's been working on a podcast, which has been awesome.
I was on the show.
We had Joker and Ampey, but I think he plans to get back to it soon.
Cool.
Minecraft broke him.
Was it the Ender Dragon guy since he couldn't kill the Ender Dragon and he's just like I'm
out of here?
Is that really what it comes down to?
I've been loving the Savick's podcast. Yeah, they're great man.
Ampies was so long that he changed my mind on 40 man raids versus 20. I actually watched
Ampies snippet on the 40 man raids versus 20. He basically was saying like 40 man raids
make guilds into little village states or like tribes because you actually need more people to
come together for one common reason and it like means that guilds exist but not only that do they
exist because of that like they they you have like a DKP guy you have an enchanter you have like
the person that organizes the groups like it's part of the soul of the game and like I actually
think he's right on all of that? But he still didn't change my opinion. I still like 20 man raids
more in practicality. But I do think everything he said was true. So he had a lot of good reasons
for it. I think like in practicality though, 40 man raids are still like really brutal to set up.
It's really, really, really tough to actually pull off 40 man raids unless you're like an
ampy and want to do all of the group building and forming and stuff and like
20 man raids or 25 men are just so much more manable to actually manageable to
actually do but I think you had a good point
40 man raids are great when you're the best player and everyone wants to play
with you I mean despite being the best player and having everyone wants to
play with me like I still prefer like the smaller like 20 to 25 man thing believe it or not
I bait. That's not good. He was talking about ampy? No, I don't think that's what he meant.
I don't think he meant that
Lots of blood, oh Bruno, thanks for the problem
I miss our slap in the rift we'll be back to the rift at some point just not not right now
what's the gold per hour in this it's about 50 gold or run runs take about I think about
10 minutes. I think so I think it's like like 250 to 300 ish golden hour. Depends how like
optimized you are and how much downtime and this and that and RNG on your drops. It's
not bad.
Am I going to IRL stream at Blizzcon? I don't think so, no.
charge her attempt on the streamer client could if we're gonna go for a
mount though dude I like the Zulean Tiger man
Blizzcon is this Saturday and Sunday start to like 10 a.m. I think
PST, yeah.
Do you have a nice layer?
I'm actually on dream side, man.
What about a vlog?
A vlog is kind of like up in the air right now.
I'll kind of see with like my schedule what we can lock it and dial.
Let's do a main tank high shell run. We cleared high shell two days ago.
What was it, like two stairs or something?
Was there a reasoning for a PvE server this go around?
Yeah, it's the first time I've ever rolled on a PvE realm.
The main reason is because I was going to main tank on a Paladin and I was like, I don't
really care to world PvP on a tank.
The other reason is this character was my character from hardcore and you can only
transfer to PvE realms.
So those were basically the two reasons.
If I could have transferred to a PVP one, I might have just sent it anyway.
Okay.
Aren't hardcore servers basically PvE realms?
That's kind of true, yeah.
Furbogs would be hype. I don't know about Furbogs, man.
What are we farming? Just getting some gold. Yep.
I've spent, like, over 2,000 gold rating in the last 10 days on this character.
Which is kind of crazy.
So...
I was like, might as well farm some.
Sounds about right, yeah.
Yup.
Yup
Actually, I could maybe bubble pull this pull if I felt like I wanted to.
Yeah, actually, we might.
Hmm, is this smart?
I can't really tell if that was smart or not.
Should be fine now.
Yeah, that's probably fine.
play? What trinket am I using for this? It's uh figuring it across this. Basically every
time I block I get healed for 120 and I just block a lot with this many low level mobs
so they heal me for more than they hurt me with the trinket up so I go to full HP
with the trinket and it's on a two-minute cooldown so I can basically never die I mean if I screwed
up hard enough I could die but it's pretty hard to die.
ERP you gonna level a Pali tank what is this?
Yeah dude there's so many Pali tanks outside of Strat and like some of them have like
funny names like gold printer lull or like gold farmer or whatever gold farmer X
like you don't even need like that good a gear to do this like you do need to be
proud you need you do need to be 70 and you do you need like a couple key items
like some basic tanking gear but it's not even that hard to make it work
Okay, not bad.
So I do need to clear out the inventory now.
If I get lucky enough, maybe someone outside has a...
Dang it.
They didn't have a multi-loop back then?
They did not.
Oh crap, I don't know about instance helper on.
Is anything cool drop doing this farm?
I did it a few months back and got an epic.
I thought it was like a flurry axe or like a, I was a crow blade maybe.
And when something like that drops, it's real nice on the gold per hour.
Not running a vendor shield.
Yeah, I pretty much never run a vendor shield.
When you solo the last boss for the mount, I haven't tried, but I feel like you could
definitely solo it.
Yeah, I feel like it wouldn't be that bad.
I'm grinding for that trinket tonight now.
Oh yeah, this is a must-have from Shattered Halls.
If you're a prop Polly and you want to do any type of solo farming, this trinket's
awesome.
Pop it, full HP, done so.
And if you have bad gear, I would pair it with Dabberies and Nigma to get, like,
If you use Dabberies at the same time as Figuring, you go full HP like instantly.
Like literally instantly.
Oh hey, look at that!
Repairbot.
Let's go.
No!
It's gone.
Is that enough?
For another run?
Yeah, I think I have enough room for another run now.
Hey! Another repair bot. Yo, I could snipe his scrolls, but I'm not going to.
So enough pallies are out here doing this exact farm that like...
Oh crap, I want to make sure I'm not vending the stuff I want to keep.
I know I can like make the rune cloth into bandages to then sell for like slightly more
gold but it's just not worth the time I don't think.
Aquamarines are worth selling.
Time is money friends.
I think my scroll is worth selling.
Aquamarinas we're selling.
Yeah, what's nice about this is there's so many
pallies out here doing this that like a lot of the time
someone will drop a repair bot or you could bring
your own repair bots and be that guy that helps
everyone else or you could run back to the town
if there isn't a repair bot.
Oops.
Or or or you put your hearthstone in chat wait it is in chat. What do you mean?
Prop Halley's causing inflation. Oh Gabby now I'm the problem, huh?
Now I'm the problem because I'm playing the game how I want to and that was my prop okay. Yep. Sorry Gabby my bad
my bad
Or you could get handed out one to 2,000 gold from random players.
I mean that could happen.
Or we could just farm our own gold with the old-fashioned way, man.
Oh
Old fashion way even the 2019 way yeah
Use Thunderfury, dude the Caval, Merciless Caval is so good for this, it just gives you
so much spell power.
Bellylar just said a great video, yeah we watched it.
I think I've watched like every, uh, Classic Plus, uh, actually that's not true.
There's so many of them.
I've watched like a lot of them though.
Man, I love Pallies.
This is where Pallies are fun, Pallies are fun in Dungeons, Pallies are less
fun in raids I think for the most part at least are so fun like this though man
go for me yo deck thanks for the problem
Does nobody want to take this man to Black Temple even as an off tank?
No, it's not.
It's not what's going on.
There's a lot of groups that want me, but it's a scheduling conflict.
It's a scheduling conflict.
As the main tank, there's been many groups to hit me up, many, so many that I lost
actually but uh the scheduling conflicts are really getting the best of me here
that's pretty much it actually I don't even really care to be black temple
it's not even that big of a deal it matters to like main tank Illidan so
like it would be awesome to see that fight from the main tank perspective, it's not a big deal
to me. Do you think they announced Wrath this weekend? I don't know man, I feel like that's
like the big thing that less people are talking about is what's happening to TBC and what's
happening to Mr. Pandaria. I know a lot of people just don't care compared to the
a hype of plastic plus, but like, I'm still so darn interested, man.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, thanks for the product dude.
I'm excited. I'm excited for the con.
Come on dude, I'm excited to get moving.
Blue mood.
Lute 5 rare quality items.
Nice.
Oh, I had a flask on this whole time from my raid yesterday.
80.
Holy damage about to go away.
How much time do you need to travel to BlizzCon?
It's like a one hour flight, bro.
I'm in Arizona, so I'm just flying up to LAX.
I should get into like, yeah, like an hour or something,
pretty quick.
Why am I flying into LAX
and not John Wayne rookie mistake?
Dude, I like John Wayne way better,
but there's no flights from Tucson to John Wayne.
I'd have to go to Phoenix, which is like brutal
or have like a massive layover, which can also be brutal.
I think I'm just gonna bubble again like last time.
I think I kinda like the bubble there.
I think
they
Gasparter, thanks for the drop, let's go to hold!
Ah crap. Oh no, they all just evaded and got healed!
And I have no bubble!
I think we're still fine though.
Yeah, I think we're still fine for sure.
Pink.
We're still fine.
I think
Okay, that was that was sketchy they all got healed from when I got knocked up on the ledge from that evade spot
why not vengeance spec I could respect yeah I think that spec is a bit better
there's actually like a couple points I could change but my second spec right now
was a PvP one a prop highly PvP build I've been experimenting with successfully
successfully experimenting with and it's been it's been a good time so I
don't really have a room for a third spec right now unfortunately
Okay, clean.
Isn't there an add on the instant loot so you can loot faster?
I have like fast looting on in nitrix plus, but maybe there's something else
I don't know of someone said there's an item called like fast loot, which I think it does like the same thing
But looting is like bugged right now from what I can tell when I spam loot it like stops every time
So something with a new patch messed it up. I think
Any interesting rares we got magisters boots and wildheart gloves, but besides that pretty standard
I'm okay either way on it man.
I'm okay either way.
Like I'm 100% fine with no A.O.E. looting if they add it.
I'm not like so much of a purist where I would be like oh gosh this is not my classic
plus but yeah there's so many so many things like that that like I can go either way on
It doesn't change the game enough for me to be upset about it.
Okay, there is no...pender out there.
My rating today?
The plan was to maybe check out a Black Temple, but there was some scheduling conflicts, so
um, we're actually not gonna do Black Temple due to those previously mentioned conflicts.
Gotta make a Disenchant all for your Blues and Greens.
I'm actually an Enchanter.
I can Disenchant them here.
I don't think it's worth Disenchanning, well maybe it is.
I think the blues are worth this enchanting if you can't fender them for more than like
four gold and then I think greens are pretty neutral, you can do either one.
Oh, skull!
may look a rare spawn.
and it's time to go full HP. I was selling large drill for 10 G and P1. Dude, they go for like 4, 4 and a half now, 4, 4 and a half, so it's barely any net profit for...
but it depends. Like, so, like this blue here...
actually does this blue even give a large...
charismatic I think that all blues do or oh no they might give small it's like blue
weapons actually I can't quite remember I got shot across nice the silk market is
like it's better than I mean you can auction it for like slightly more but
yeah from level 55 onwards it gives large so these are 54 these are 52 these
These are 54.
Might as well just keep loading.
It's one mob is like taking more time than that entire last pull man.
Have they not nerfed solo dungeon farming?
They actually did nerf it, but it didn't affect this one or something?
I remember reading a blue pose where I was like, oh, this got nerfed.
Well, this definitely still works.
Source, I am still doing it.
Here, let me try to disenchant this and see what it turns to.
So it is large brill, which is definitely more gold.
Yeah, they're all large brill.
These though like I don't think this is worth like some of the greens like this vendors for 65 silver
by DE it it's 39 it's like a slight increase I think but I think it's kind of a gamble on some of them
like this swords have vendor for three gold 60 silver
This is turned to a creator eternal so it's 5g. I don't know maybe disenchanting is better than I think
It's a gamble because it's whether you get greater nether or eternal right right right
Like sometimes you'll come out a little ahead sometimes you're coming a little behind it does it does save bag space, which is nice
But then you have to think about like the auction house cut and if it doesn't sell and then reposting it and all that
First it's just like making a gold right there
Oh yeah true it is free to post it is free to post uh enchanting bats true true
I
Bade
Any items are for 1.5p you just sell any weapons you just sell except guns
The vendors for two gold. Yeah, like everyone has their own little formulas that sounds about right
I tried to auction enchanting auction slips doing disenchanting greens, but I did not play the game very well
rip dude
What is making them I've made there I have no idea
Day 16 of asking why not kill Baron for the mount?
I like this willian mount even better and it's not like super time efficient to go over there. I
I actually do think I could probably solo it though, I would think.
for hours like it's like 250 to 350 like ish depends how like lucky you are to
AOS are without parkour do you have any tips for a fun character in TBC with
world PvP rogue or mage for world PvP every time there's some other fun ones
but man is it fun to be a rogue or a mage in world PvP when I did on my
Polly is like two to three in a chain hour. Yeah, that's still about right. Nice. I ran all the way through this time
I don't even think I need to bubble this time around for whatever reason, nice.
The problem with Warlock World PvP is you're not very mobile.
Robes can literally like, you can mess with people and then even if they bring their friends
you just vanish out, it's like so sick.
You can always just slow and run forever, no matter what.
The loft are really good, but there's like five dudes to gank you.
You can't really just banish out like a rogue good.
Why is it not bad?
Why do I need the gold for?
I was just stacking up some gold.
I've spent like 2,000 gold in the last 10 days of raiding and I haven't made any.
I went from like 3,000 down to 1,000.
Just from buying random consumes.
Now we're back up to 1,800.
And I have a bunch of stuff to sell too, so.
As a Pali, it's not too bad.
Like since you can do this, it's like a raid
with a flask being 100 gold and like food and everything.
Like I could probably raid for like 150 gold on a Pali
Assuming I'm not using like too many nightmare seeds.
Plus repair bill.
I mean, I guess it depends how many times
we wipe and this and that.
Maybe a little more,
because I'll find you the FAP and iron shield.
Maybe close to two-winner gold.
So it's basically like, if this is 50 G a run,
maybe three or four runs will pay for a raid.
Didn't they nerf solo farms like this dude I was saying like I swear they did but I can
still do it so maybe not.
boots that'll be basically 5g
cool I think they nerf the one pull in here interesting now there was another
nerf after it could talk I thought at least it went from the mage farm to the
Pali farm true the reality is if you nerf the Pali farm it'll turn into like
a hunter farm or something else. Like players will always find a way.
Oh, field repair bot. Go, go, go, go, go!
Scroll of strength, I actually might buy back.
Um...
Um...
Okay, I think I'm gonna DE the rest of this stuff.
Or Auction House the rest.
The Skrulls' All Auction House, the Greens' All DE.
The Aquamarina auction house.
Yeah, that looks about right.
Cool.
I've actually been getting pretty lucky with the repairbots from the other paladins, nice.
guys we got banned they think I'm a bot rip nope nevermind just ran disconnect
Okay let's do it. So this turns into one gold into like one gold fifty silver. This turns
into, oh that was like 70 silver into 5 gold. Man it's just such a gamble on the disconnect
on the disenchance. 4 gold 50 silver so this goes for 3 gold and it just turned into this
which goes for 5. It seems like disenchanting is worth it like most of the time with the
prices right now so that's pretty good I guess.
Read cord.
Want my gold I quit months ago.
Guys I have a friend that's offering me free gold because he quit.
Um look I don't really take handouts is the thing you know I'm a self-made man.
All right, like I'm a self-made gamer. I don't really know how much gold you have
Getting kind of worked here
The thing is, guys, if I accept gold, it tarnishes my sterling reputation of this character being
self-made.
That's the thing, right?
I'll take it for you, don't worry.
over qualified, there we go.
It's like two or two or three hundred golden hour with this yeah
The add-on for achievements is big number good. I was just kind of testing it. It's kind of kind of a cool concept
Release this our files
True.
Can you do this on a mage? I don't know if you can do this farm on a mage. This seems kind of tough on a mage.
All right.
What's your opinion on the WoW token being added to Classic Plus?
I definitely do not want the WoW token.
It actually is kind of a complicated conversation because people buy gold anyway and the WoW token...
What was the argument?
Like the WoW token makes it less inflated because of the numbers or something?
But like, I don't know, I still don't like it.
It just feels so weird.
I think in an ideal world no one buys gold and no one...
over here, her singer.
No one buys gold and no one will token.
So an ideal world like Closer gets better at banning bots.
There's less bots, there's less...
Cold Buyers, less cold sellers.
That would just all own, but...
... I'll see.
I've actually made the claim that I think that Blizzard should crack down on gold buyers
harder.
Sorry guys, I do.
The people buying gold right now, if you get caught, it's like a slap on the wrist, like
I think if you get caught buying gold, like remember back in the day bro, if you got
caught buying gold your account was gone like it was brutal people were afraid it
was scary nowadays people just buy gold and if you get caught it's like oh like
two weeks whatever like I think there should be way less tolerance for gold
buyers I want people to be scared again to buy gold so that people don't buy
gold so that there's way less demand and that helps fix the economy a little
bit I think that'd be sick but it's not even two weeks how how would you
No, how long is it?
Says the streamer with benefits
True counter-argument. I play most of my characters self-found and I'm currently farming gold
but still true still a fair point 21 fire damage it's actually a lot of fire
damage
what if you were a warrior I was actually thinking about that like what would I do
if I was like if I'm because I've always played like mages you get a we farm or
Pallies you get a we farm or like I mean I guess I have done professions in the past
I used to do a lot of gold making with inscription and with jewel crafting
Trying to think what I would do if I was like a warrior. I
Probably pick up a profession
Tank for gold
Will tank for gold
Starving warrior out here sell PvP carries. Yeah, true
I actually think that it's one of the most lucrative ways to make gold in World of Warcraft.
If you're good at the game you just sell carries. It is disgustingly lucrative.
You sell mid-plus carries, raiding carries.
Dude, the raiders in retail make so much gold from raid carries. It's wild.
This pull is definitely looking a little shaky here.
I don't know why this pool is so troll, I think it's going to work out for us though.
Nice.
What's healing me?
It's just my Tranger, bro.
After getting handed 7k for flying or 23 to 28 hours of farming, that's 3.5 to 4 full
streams and only farming gold, you would never do that content nowadays.
I mean, fair enough, like, gold farming content isn't as fun to do as some other content that we could be doing.
Like, yeah, I guess that's true.
And all of this is possible because of one trinket.
Yeah.
I do think it's possible without figuring out a Colossus.
You would just have to pull, like, a little smaller.
Like, right now, we're doing the dungeon in three pulls.
If I had like a little better gear, so like a couple more pieces of tier six, and I didn't have this trinket
Like I actually think it is still possible. You just have to play like a little
More careful maybe instead of three pulls you would four and you would have to like bubble heal
And like maybe use some more consumes and stuff
But it would probably be like like we're pretty close to being able to do the pulls without the trinket in other words
Try it without the trinket? Well, like you can basically just see, right? Like when I'm
doing the pull, like that first pull, I think it's pretty doable without the trinket. Like
we almost everything is dead by the time we pump it, right? That third pull is a big one.
I'm sure it gets pretty clutched
Oh
Arena boost on this Pali. I don't know if I'm gonna be the one selling the boost on this Pali man
But yeah, this Pali is
Definitely not in boosting shape right now, unfortunately.
Definitely not.
I think that might have been my full lockout.
Yeah, we're full locked out.
Milidari rune shield black temple trash sick
1850
They've lost the stuff to vendor. Let's go to Stormwind.
Are we allowed to stream BlizzCon? I don't know exactly how it works. I think so.
If I don't BT yet and Annie, I've only killed the first three bosses. It's just super hard to
find a daytime raid team. I've cleared Haishul and I've done three bosses of Black Temple.
Like I said, if I were to do it again, I'd probably just play in Europe since there's like a million Europe raids that happen right now
But yeah, I'm in a it's like
brutal like if you look at any of these groups and trade chat or discord
They're all at like 6 p.m. Server right like in the evening, which makes sense like people work that the
The raids happen at night, but I haven't found like basically any daytime raids
Greetings.
Greetings.
That's nice.
That's nice.
That's nice.
making bandages with ring cloth if you're vendering I respectfully completely
disagree respectfully because of the time it takes to make the bandages and
time is money friends okay and it does net a profit but I don't think the
profit is worth the time
Well between yesterday's runs and today's runs I mean we were at like 1100 gold
there for a second and now we're at 1866 with a ton of stuff to sell. Probably
put us like 19 or gold. I am not mad about that.
Eight stacks of one. Let's do that.
How much are dark ruins on my realm like six geopop people have been doing like scoloman's farming, but I haven't really tried that
Six gold for a scroll of strength what
Wow
It's crazy.
Dude, this 15 stamina gem still hasn't sold, brah.
I feel like such an idiot.
Yeah, I don't know how much all of that adds to,
but probably like another 50 or something.
Not bad, not bad.
Ever been an auction house flipper?
Yeah, I actually have been.
I actually have a little,
I've told this story before,
but this is actually kind of like a,
a complete troll situation that happened to me.
So I was, I don't remember what expansion,
I think it was like TBC or Wrath.
I was quite young and I wanted to learn how to make gold on WoW.
So I guess back up, in RuneScape, what I did to make gold in RuneScape was played like Bot Low,
sold high, that's what I like to do in RuneScape.
I'd buy like a D-Helm for like 800k and sell it for like 1.1 mil.
And I'm like, woohoo, we made some money.
Like I just thought it was fun.
I actually showed that to my dad and he thought it was kind of cool because I was like 12 or 10 or something.
And he's like, oh wow, there's like an economy and everything.
Anyway, I started playing WoW and I was quite young
and I started doing the same thing.
But I wasn't very good at it in WoW,
because WoW's economy seemed to be a lot more complex.
I was like, what the heck?
So I met a friend along the way,
and he seemed to not speak super great English,
but for some reason, I knew he was always selling stuff
in trade shots, so I started talking to him.
Like, where are you getting all this stuff?
And he goes, oh, I'm buying it and reselling it.
And I was like, what?
We gotta be friends, bro.
So I started talking to this guy,
I added them to my friends list
and he started helping me on what to buy and sell.
So he told me to start buying things like enchanting mats
or like low level items
that like people would use to level up professions.
And I was like, really, this is gonna sell no way.
But I listened to him and it worked.
I actually started making like hundreds of gold,
which at the time was like a good amount.
I was like, oh my gosh, this guy's a legend.
He told me exactly what to buy, what to sell it for.
and it was great, like this guy owned.
And then as I started making more gold,
he started teaching me to buy bigger items.
So like as I made like a couple thousand gold,
I started buying blues and epics, like high level stuff.
And it worked, I made even more gold, it was great.
And then I started making like a lot of gold,
like many, many thousands, which was like,
I was like kind of rich for the time.
I was like, this is awesome.
I was all thanks to my friend who taught me what to buy and what to sell. It was legendary. I think this was maybe end of wrath
I want to say
Can't quite exactly remember I think end of wrath era
But it was pretty cool. All right. I talked to this guy a lot back and forth. He taught me a lot
anyway, I was going out of town for the weekend and
One of the big lessons that he taught me was like as you
make more gold you have the potential to make more gold because with the gold you
can buy bigger things and make a margin on a larger item so that was a good
lesson right if you have gold you can make more gold I was like great that's
pretty cool I can you know use that to to my advantage anyway I was going out
of town for the weekend and since I knew that took gold to make gold he
he actually, he asked if I could, if he could take all of my gold for the weekend and use
it to flip items and he would give me half of whatever he made from my gold stack and
I was like, sure man, I'll give you all my items too and see if you can sell them and
all my gold because like I said, this guy taught me everything and I made, I think
it was like tens of thousands of gold at that point, it was a lot of money for the
time and I had a ton of like epic items it was great like I was I was rolling
in tow and I went away for the weekend I gave him everything didn't even think
about it came back
dudes gone the final lesson he took everything he took it all and all my
gold all my items gone. It was brutal. One final lesson to not trust strangers on the internet.
The good news is I continued doing what he taught me and I made all the gold back.
I went in the cataclysm eventually, used that same gold farming method to flip dark moon cards
and to flip trading card mounts like Magic Rooster and some of the TCG, like, limited mounts,
and I ended up making hundreds of thousands of gold and then buying myself a Magic Rooster
and some other trading card game items, and that's how I made gold. So he actually taught me a lot
about making gold and wow through flipping items. And stole everything I have or had.
Show us the rooster. It's on my retail account. Yeah, I could show it. Why don't you do that now?
I haven't done it in a long time. I'd have to probably relearn a lot of it, but I guess I could.
That was what I loved to do in WoW. I was a gold maker for a long time. That is a lot of what I did
in my early WoW years was make gold. I did AoE farming, I did high sell low, I did jewel
crafting, I did inscription, I just logged in and made gold all day. Actually, there's
probably no one here, but from my first few streams in 2012, they were actually gold making
streams, they weren't even PvP streams. I would just log in, turn my stream on, I'd
have like one viewer, like three viewers, and I would just buy and sell things and show
my process of making gold. That was like, that was actually what we did for a little
bit. And we started forming rank one titles instead and people found that much more interesting.
So yeah, all of that to say, if anyone has any extra gold laying around and you want
me to make gold for you, I'll take all your gold and items, and just let me know.
Um, yeah, cool.
Trust me, bro.
Oh, gosh.
Dude, I have way too much fun with streaming sometimes.
It's actually just the best.
just mess around with you guys all day, that is great.
Okay, I think that's about it.
I think it's about right.
Yo, Kaasin, thanks for the problem.
Whoa!
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
Whoa, holy gravy!
holy gravy whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa yeah I was kidding man you
should keep your gold thank you but it's all it's all good really slash love
what a legend bro um oh my gosh oh my gosh what a beast what a beast streamer
privilege, man. I actually think that streamer privilege doesn't exist, but that's a very
long conversation that we'll save for another time, because it's hard to explain. That's
That's why, yep.
Turns out all the hot takes can't be explained.
Well, no, like I said, I could explain it, just now is not the time because it's hard
to explain. So that's what's going on there. But I could if I wanted. I don't really feel
like it. What is your take on new race class combos? I think new race class combos where
they make sense is probably fine, yeah. I don't want new classes, but new race class
combos I think are pretty chill. Longest I not like super overboard. Any upgrades? We got those
tier six gloves and they are absolutely disgustingly overpowered man. These things are legit.
Alright guys, we're ending it quite early today.
I am going to chill for a bit, pack up and get ready for my flight tomorrow morning.
The next time you see me will be at the LISKON.
Oh my gosh!
Oh my gosh!
Oh my gosh, I can't wait.
I can't wait.

I'm trying to get the multi stream details set up to stream live from the con.
I'll be there Saturday, Sunday, of course, for the event.
I'll be flying home Monday, so no stream Monday and we'll see how I'm feeling Tuesday
