I actually think mass scale world PVP is criminally overrated.

My favorite type of world PVP is when it's all natty and it's like 4 versus 7 and then

It was right before my son was born, so I logged out my character on the beach to give
him a nice retirement.
If you look under his feet, there's sand and some rocks, and it's the beach that
last logged my character out on when I stopped playing competitively and that's
why there's some sand under his feet. It's really cool. Very cool detail by Frugo.

used on my character for years and years. It's called the garden scythe. I
always thought it was a really cool weapon because it's simple but like
unique. So I used the garden site for many many many many years and this

One of the unique things about classic wild PVP is the fact that healers, or not healers
is that items outside of Dungeons and sorry outside of Battlegrounds outside of PPP are
really good. So for example an item in Classic WoW that's really good for a mage might be
like Tidal Charm. You get it from like a random level 30 mob, but leveling on a rare spawn
and then like another really good item might come from Engineering like a Shadow Reflector
Trinket or another really good item might be like a Furbog Medicine Pouch from a
Reputation Grind later in the game that allows you to like heal yourself if you
you use that offhand.
Or another really good item is like the,
I mean, what's the offhand that sprints you
and hurts you to break CC?
I can't think of the name right now.
Skull of Impending Doom.
Skull of Impending Doom is like an offhand
that you can swap to that hurts you.
So if you think you're about to get sheeped or blinded

So when you do like deadlines together at level 15, you're gonna have ten talent points compared to their five
Which is really strong which means things are out of whack and you're just way stronger in the early game
which is the game for a lot of people and
basically it makes it so that you feel like
If you don't have it it just kind of feels bad
because most people that play the game for a while will have this instantly.
So it's like, it just feels, if you have it, it's like, okay, this is just how the game works.
If it doesn't have it feels bad, similar to how heirlooms felt when they were introduced.
When you had heirlooms, they felt amazing.
And if you did, and it's like, oh, this guy's just going to level faster and more efficient
because he has heirlooms. Not a fan. Not a fan. I don't want character power.
I would take that one out. Increases your ability to detect nearby targets with stealth
as if your level were increased by one and effective in power crowns.
Once again, philosophically it's character power, so I don't like it in that sense, but like I don't know if it's as problematic as this one, and the character power sensual leveling since it doesn't come into play as much, but still from like the philosophical perspective, I don't like the idea of character power in the legacy tree, account-wide character power is probably not a good idea for the game.

longer require reagents purchasable from vendors. I don't mind this one. It's
actually kind of nice. It just saves you some gold, a little bit of gold in the
long run, but you totally don't need it. Just kind of like little bit of quality
of life, but no power. Little bit of quality of life, but no power. You take
8% less durability loss when you die. Perfect. Love it. Love it. Love it.
Little bit of quality of life, no power. Increases reputation gains by
2%, probably fine. Don't know if I like it as much while they find those are both to be
added. Okay, cool. And then increases honor gain. Wow, that's really strong. I might be
even a little too strong. That's pretty good. Okay, so TLDR now that I've read through
every single one and gave it some thought, I think my TLDR is this legacy tree points,
in my opinion, should give small quality of life and flavor, but not give a count
wide character power.
Character power is too similar to an heirloom
and it changes the leveling experience
and it makes it too much of a gap
between someone who's just like playing the game
for the first time and someone who's leveling it all
with them.
It's like you kind of have some heirloom advantage.

WoW, it takes players most of the time three to four weeks to hit max, or if you're not a no life,
maybe two months, three months to hit max, right? And that means the lifespan of the expansion
of the of the game is just much longer whereas in TVC it does take a long time to level but significantly less and
Then same with wrath and then same with cat on the same with moth. They just it starts shrinking
So when you release mop players are max level in like two days
Right, so they just get through the content quicker and a lot of players what they do believe it or not is they hit max
They do the raid they grind their gear. They do the raid once and quit that is like so many players
They hit max, they grind pre-biss, they hit the raid once or twice and quit.
The difference in Classic WoW is to do that takes like three months for people, four months
for people, right?
If you're working, you know, you're not playing all the time, you're not on no life.
To hit max, get your pre-biss and your attunements and raid is literally going to be months
of fun, exciting gameplay, right?
And that's why Classic WoW is so much longer lifespan than a lot of these other
expansions.
It literally just takes longer.
Does that mean WoW Forever will die five months after release?
Yes, if they were not doing new content.
If WoW Forever was just the same raids and they didn't do new content ever, it would
die in a few months.

And you put all this together and it's like, oh sick, now I can play for another few months.
And then of course you get bored again, that's what WoW does. But then there'll be another
patch. So hopefully that's the goal. New class. You guys know how I feel about a new class.
Hardcore, exactly. What I'll probably do on forever is every time there's new content,
I'll play softcore first and enjoy it and have fun. And then when I'm bored and I'm
raid logging, I'll do hardcore forever. So I'll make it a hardcore character and do a hardcore
series for a month or two or however long. And then when there's new content, I'll go
back to my mage, my main, and hit the new content again. And then whenever there's not new content,
go back to hardcore. So just keep solving back and forth. OSR is style, that's right.
Yeah, a lot of people do this in RuneScape. They have their main in their hardcore alt.
And then you play your main, when there's new content, and then play your hardcore alt
when there's downtime, and you just go back and forth forever.

It's a good combo though, because when there's new content, you want to just have fun with
it first, and then you can try to do it without dying.
I think new specs on existing classes make so much more sense.
Necromancer should be a new mage spec, and not its own new class.

and working in the metal cast art industry.
We noticed that these IPs
with huge communities of enthusiasts
don't make small editions of their characters and stories in Bronze and Silver.
There were plenty of reasons for that, but today we seem to think that enthusiasts and
the companies who make these stories are ready to make custom limited edition Bronze and Silver
art.
Absolutely.
So instead of just trying to explain to IP holders all the potential and what it is
that we could do, we started making some pieces to show them.
And in order to prove for ourselves that the communities were interested in these
We started giving them to people to see basically what was the reaction gonna be dude. Yeah, I saw oh, yeah

And I was like holy crap and then frugal reached out. I didn't know they were gonna be this big though

we don't have licensing to sell Blizzard sculptures
and FromSoftware sculptures or Nintendo sculptures,
but we can still make them for free
under the Fair Use Act and basically proved for ourselves
and to the IP holders that communities want these things.

So they need licensing to be able to sell this.
That's why they're gifting them for right now.
I think they're trying to work with Blizzard
and maybe, I think he told me they already are
to try to get the licensing
so they can actually like start selling them.
I mean, I would be sick.
I mean, who would be interested in one of these

it took him four months to make it.

Yeah, so like one of the big add-ons I like, a lot is it's better Blizz Frames.
What the add-on does is hide things on the screen.
It doesn't add, I don't think it like adds much of anything, but all the settings are
are like hide frame, hide name, hide resource, hide ZZZ,
hide corner glow, hide rest, right?
It can like change the format a little bit or hide things.
So it's an add-on that doesn't add to your screen.
It's an add-on that removes things from your screen,
which is like, I actually had an add-on
that I developed for years and years called ZAR mods.
I discontinued it now.
But the whole idea of my add-on was that it simplified the user interface, so it basically
just hid things from the screen, so what you were looking at was a lot simpler to see.
So anyway, that's kind of my philosophy with add-ons.
Just keep the screen as simple and easy to interact with as possible.

not even gonna step foot in Lockwood on so it gives you these different experiences
each character which I think is cool.

Is there any way to track revenge procs like Weakor is used to do?
Yeah, so there's something called the cooldown manager.
There's something called buff, yeah buffs.
Oh wait, Revenge and Overpower you can't track because they're off of a dodge and you
don't get a buff.
Yeah, how do you track Revenge and Overpower now since the CDM doesn't actually have a
way to know if you've dodged?
You can put it under spells but then it's always kind of fair which is annoying.
You can put reactive spells on too.
I have that turned off but under combat there's an option called scroll combat text for self.
I don't know why I like it off but this will show you like when you get procs and stuff
like overpower. Hey, Jers, thanks for the member on YouTube. Nope, they removed all those. Unless
they removed them today, you're wrong because I was using it on Friday and I did just say overpower.
