surgeries, indicating that something was seriously wrong. As a result, he would take
the entirety of the 2016 season off, but in 2017, everything would take a turn for the worse.
Tiger tried to make his return in January of 2017 at the Farmers Insurance Open, but missed the cut.
It withdrew from the next tournament due to back spasms, which ultimately led to an announcement in April of 2017 that he underwent another back surgery.
