I mean, I wouldn't assume that it's like the worst movie ever just because of a couple
casting decisions, right?
I mean, I'm sure there are parts of it that are good and enjoyable, but overall, I couldn't
really expect to...
The reviews of the movie, it's pretty obvious that these people are overcompensating with
the reviews.
And I think this is the problem that a lot of people have is that whenever there's
like a movie that has a like there's like a social conversation about this movie
you know people don't like the fact that this movie did x y or z everybody goes
out and all of the like critics and people do their best to like counter
signal against the people that didn't like the movie so basically it's not
enough for them to just rate the movie well they have to be like overly
generous to like almost balance out the negative people on the other side
And I see this all the time and that's why you have some of these movies that like I mean
I don't think anybody really thinks these movies are like a nine to ten like that warrior queen or something like that
Like nobody actually thinks that but like whenever critics see that like you know
The chuds on the internet are getting mad what they try to do is they try to counter signal the chuds
They're not trying to like rate the movie based off of like whether the movie is good or not
They're trying to counter signal the chuds
And I think this is what's happened with a lot of different things whether it's dragon age the veil guard whether it is you know

Whether it is I mean, I think there's the top two that come right off the top of my head

Watch yesterday was a solid 8.5 to 9 out of 10. Yeah, I mean as I said, I'll probably go see it at some point

And I don't know really how well that did with the critics,
especially because it kind of went on for a while.
I think people began to realize that like,
yeah, no, actually this one just sucks.
But in general, you know, I would say
that it's not going to be,
I watched The Odyssey with my dad, give it eight out of 10.
Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't expect it
to be the worst movie ever, right?
I certainly wouldn't expect that.
But, you know, obviously people are going to dislike it.
And I think that whenever a movie comes out
and you know, there's a lot of messaging behind it,
you're gonna have a lot of people that are involved in the movie, like, both in one direction and the other one, right?
So, like, they're involved in one direction by saying, like, okay, well, we're gonna try to, like, act like this movie is the greatest movie ever made,
but then you have other people from the other direction that are like, I don't like the decisions that they made to this movie,
so I'm gonna act like it's the worst movie ever made.
And in my opinion, I think that one is definitely worse than the other.
Like, I think critics' counter-signaling chuds is way worse than chud's counter-signaling critics.
And the reason why is because critics should be held to a higher standard than people on the Internet that are just like random dumbasses that just say something, right?
And so if you as a critic have been basically diluted down into and reduced to just simply disagreeing with the public opinion on the Internet for the sake of it being the public opinion on the Internet, I think that's really cringe.
I do. I think it's super fucking cringe.
So it's a movie. It isn't that deep, man.
Well, I think that they do, like, I mean, by the way, I don't even agree with you on that.
I think that there have been a lot of movies over the years that have changed the way that the
world sees things, right? Even with, like, you know, I think that you could go back to earlier
movies where, like, you had the, you know, characters that were non-white, that were
playing important roles. And I do think that, like, it's not the end of the world, right?
But I think that very clearly, you have movies that do try to push that narrative,
right the matrix 1984 that was a book to be fair but like yeah as well that's it
and so Star Wars yeah Samuel Jackson yeah definitely idiocracy true you see two American soldiers died
in Jordan two died and one or a handful of them are injured and missing in action so yeah I thought
it was really sad I mean in my opinion you know with all of the Iranian attacks and everything
I've actually been really surprised I mean I don't really I don't think it's not really like
kind of a polite way of saying this. I'm surprised more people haven't gotten killed. I'm surprised
more Americans haven't gotten killed because you think about it, right? I mean, how many people
has America lost in the war against Iran? Probably like what, like a little bit under a dozen,
maybe a dozen people, right? And then meanwhile, they're just bombing Iran. They've destroyed
all the air bases and everything. Like it's a crazy ratio. So like, yeah, that's really
what I've always thought about it. It's nuts. Yeah, I feel you exactly. The amount of
Influencer showing through the odyssey is cringe. Well the reason why is because so here's the reason why it's because
nobody inside of the mainstream like
Establishment is able to have the viewpoints and the opinions that you or I have like they're literally not allowed to have that opinion
Like no, you're not gonna see any reviewer

It felt that not a single reviewer is going to say that it feels weird to cast a black woman as Helen of Troy

over here and you think that they're on your side because they don't want Israel involved with America
but they don't want Israel involved with America because of like a you know like random like a
cultural like ethnic thing right it's not because of uh it's not because of apac or something like
that. And does he feel the same about Bush? I don't know about that. The simple answer is people
are insanely anti-Semitic. Jews are the easiest target. Well, the reason why Jews are such an easy
target is because there aren't that many of them and they're not a warmongering people, right? I

You can see Tracy appears to just walk away. Yeah, out even stopping Fox News Digital obtained court documents
Explaining that the victim was with a group of friends wearing sweatpants with the words Trump and ice
when Tracy confronted and later hit the teen in the face and body. The court
documents say that Tracy refused to identify herself after the violent
encounter, but investigators later tracked her down through social media and
passport information that she gave when entering the country from Canada back in
2024. So Tracy's attorney has not responded to our repeated requests for
comment, but her husband told a local outlet that it was Tracy who was shoved and hit. He told the
New Jersey. They just, what do you mean? Like, are you kidding me? You're really gonna say that?
Mercy monitor, quote, oh my god. I've never been in trouble in her entire life. She's never had
it. That's the problem. She should have been. Any kind of situation like this. This one little
situation that was really a nothing burger when it happened has been blown so out of control
by conservatives online that it has caused my wife to be put in a detention center.
I love how this is like it's crazy to listen to people talk about things who don't believe that
they have any agency. It really is and the reason why I find it to be so interesting is that
like obviously the reason why this happened is because she literally did something like she hit
somebody with her hand and then you recorded it and you posted it on the internet. That's
That's the reason why obviously this went public and this is the reason why she's in
the detention center.
And then the secondary reason why she's in the detention center is because she overstayed
her visa and she didn't do the proper paperwork.
So it's always so crazy for me to listen to these people talk about things because it's
almost like I wonder like what goes on inside of their minds.
Like do they really think that all these things are just like magically spawning
in and they just happen to them and that's it?
i don't know man my wife wouldn't be in a detention center for the crimes that she
committed yeah
and also like i mean i would have i love to take credit for this i would i would
love if i could take credit for getting his wife putting a detention center
but unfortunately his wife did the entire thing herself
uh... she was the one that was going around slapping people hitting people
and uh... you know being violent and then not even in the country legally
so how is this anybody else's fault except for her own i really don't know
like a child that's never their fault exactly man

So a GoFundMe for Tracy was taken down,
but another online fundraiser for her legal defense
has now popped up on a different site.

I think they definitely need to
throw the book at people like this,
and they need to,
like you need to make it really common
really well known that being violent to other people because of a political
disagreement or because they're wearing something that makes you angry, we have to
make it to where everybody knows that you're not supposed to do this. Everybody
knows that you're not allowed to do this because the problem or words, yeah, like
anybody who thinks that it's okay to basically escalate a, you know,
confrontation or like a disagreement to like a physical state because of a
disagreement, you know, somebody's saying something you don't like or anything like that, we have to
make sure because this is in my opinion, like I don't know how you guys feel about this, but like
I really think this is a core thing of like Western First World Society that we do not allow
ourselves to become violent when we are disrespected or people make us angry. And I think
that really if you didn't have that, you would have a country like Afghanistan, you'd have a
country like Somalia, you'd have a country like I mean even places here in
America like Chicago, you know these places, science civilization, yet you,
when somebody makes you angry or does something that you disagree with, you
can't make the solution for that violence. You can't do that, like you can't
build a society that way, it's just impossible. Aren't these things you
teach in kindergarten? Well the reason why these people do it is because they
know they can get away with it, that's the reason why they do it. They
They don't do it because they don't know any better.
They do it because they think that they can get away with it because they can.
And this is the problem, is that a lot of these people that are violent, aggressive, these
are violent, aggressive bullies.
And they will hit you, they'll slap you, they'll be as violent to you as they possibly
can be.
And the reason why they're doing it isn't because they don't know any better.
If somebody was doing it to them, then they'd be saying the same thing I'm saying.
The reason why they're doing it is not a lack of understanding.
It's a lack of accountability.
So if they think that they can get away with being violent, they're just going to be violent.
That's the reason why.
And so the problem, I think, really falls on the police.
It falls on the government.
It falls on the people that are running things in order to hold those people accountable.
They know they can get away with it and they're selfish enough to feel entitled to
it.

so i think that ice bodycams are going to be better for everybody
like in this is a way in the same viewpoint i have with the uh... the
bodycams for police officers
is that there are going to be instances were police officers make
mistakes this happens
and in the instances where the police officers do make mistakes
we need to make sure that we can hold them accountable for those mistakes
and if we don't do that then we have a police that's unaccountable to the
public and they're breaking the law
there are bad police officers out there
and ultimately like you can't catch every single one of them preemptively
or after the fact
you have to have real evidence there and i think body cams provide that
so i'm a very big fan of body cams and i think that it's in the best
interest of everybody and also this is another thing one more thing before
move on is that it's also in the best interest of the police because do you
remember the video that I was watching yesterday and like this woman who's
like talking about how like oh wow I'm being assaulted like I you know like
where's the lady cop imagine how much harder this police officer would have
to plead his case and explain what he did whenever there aren't body cams and
this woman is saying that he sexually assaulted her and he grabbed her
inappropriately or he's touching her inappropriately so I think that there's
lot of instances where the body cams also end up protecting police officers. I think obviously in
instances of sexual assault or sexual, you know, like basically sexual misbehavior, I think that
the body cams are a very effective tool to combat that. But I think there's other instances too
where somebody says, oh, well you did X, Y, or Z, but you can check the tape and it didn't
happen. So that's it. Body cams is one good thing that came out of all this be a limbo
bullshit. Again, St. Floyd, the patron saint of, you know, bodycams. I'm glad that BLM pushed
for bodycams. I agreed with them about that. And now that we have it, we have an entire
new genre of content, which is what I think is fucking hilarious. It's great. But yeah,
I think that what's happened is that as a lot of these bodycam things have come out,
what people have seen over and over is that actually the bodycams exonerate the
police. They they've indicate the police officers more than anybody else. So anyway, I'm going
to watch this here. This is a person who is the Democratic Socialist America have unveiled
a new campaign calling for the abolition abolition of the U. S. Senate. Here we go. Let's listen
to this.
So you don't want to abolish the Senate, the United States Senate, because that's
what article one is.
The United States Senate is a non-democratic institution. It gives more representation
to people in smaller states than to the 30 million people in California.
That's how you put the ballot. You've got the House of Representatives, which is population.
The reason why they want to get rid of the Senate is because they want to establish a
population majority. That's why he says California. It's because California votes
the way he wants it to vote. If California was super-red and it was Republican,
it was 80% Republican, he would want to have the Senate.
These people are not advocating for these things based off of principle, they're advocating
for these things based off of advantage.
Sure, then.
And then you've got the Senate.
So every state, if you're a small state, you still get two senators, even though
you only get maybe one congressman in order to make all of the states have fair representation.
So you say, I'm just confused with us.
When you ask for basic civics, no, these people, one of the big mistakes that
I think a lot of people make is that they assume that a lot of these socialist people
are stupid.
In a lot of cases, they are stupid, but they're not stupid in the way that you think that
they're stupid.
Their worldviews might be short-sighted, it might be delusional, but they understand
what the Senate is.
They understand the political theory.
They just simply disagree with the conclusions of it.
These people have a different goal than you do.
Americans, if Congress and the Senate and our political system is working for them, most
people are very unhappy with the political system and they say it's not working for them.
When we think about the 250th anniversary of the United States and we think about our
proudest moments in U.S. history, I think of times like when ordinary people rose up
and they changed the Constitution to abolish slavery, to give women the right to vote.
Everyone's proud of that.
the nation-wide pride in the country.
But back in those moments, those were considered radical movements because those people dared
to say we need transformative change in the United States.
Right.
Well, we struggle to become a more perfect union, but I just want to ask you again,
do you want to abolish the United States Senate?
Because you said you approve of Article 1, but then you said you didn't think the
Senate works.
We think that the Senate should be reformed, that we should have a more democratic
government system.
But that's...
The answer obviously is yes.
The big problem, like he's doing the same thing that a lot of people do where they do
think something, but they're not saying it, they're talking around it.
The long-term change that we're seeking and in the short term we're focused on issues
like affordability, like freezing the rent, which we've just done in New York, like
creating a universal child care system, which we're also taking steps toward doing,
like fixing our energy grid.
Yeah, the energy grid is the problem, right? Everything is we, so he's not taking accountability. Yeah, exactly.
Abolish the Senate to ensure tyranny of the majority.
I mean, it's crazy that...
What I always think is like really funny about this is that, really, I mean, these are all things that like the founding fathers kind of already assumed and thought that it was a good thing.
And also, by the way, people like this don't even care about the Constitution.
They don't give a shit about the Constitution. It's so funny because they'll be like pro-Trump.
trump is violating constitution in two seconds later they admit they hate the
constitution anyways exactly
and so these people this is the point i was making the other day is that
whenever they're advocating for these types of politics or whatever
they're advocating for them because these things are advantageous for them
and whenever they try to bring up american values and they try to say
like well this is the good thing that america did
the only reason they're saying that to you is because they think that that
will make you
let your guard down and allow them to do something that they would otherwise not be allowed to do.
So you have to look at every single thing that these people say and do as a perspective from the
perspective of this is a manipulation and they're saying this in order to take advantage of something.
I might not know what it is, but I know that it's something. Have you seen Steven Miller's
speech after Rubio's? No, I haven't. Then... Instructions great, but if you're the Bodega
owner, how would you feel if the government opened a big grocery store right next to your bodega?
If one publicly owned grocery store that brings prices down in the neighborhood is enough to put
someone out of business, then maybe they shouldn't have been in that business in the first place.
Couldn't you just say that about Walmart? This is the thing that's so funny about this is that
you have no problem making an argument of like you know dog eat dog capitalism
basically saying like people have a choice but that's exactly what people said with walmart that's
it that what's insane to me about this is that these people are saying the exact same stuff
that walmart would say this is what big companies would say everywhere this is what home depot would
say and these other places that have like displaced small hardware stores or small grocery
stores and they're like well you know if if only one store is what it takes to put you
you out of business that maybe you don't deserve to be in business. This is capitalism at work.
And so it's once again, once again, these people have no values other than accumulating power.
This is it. All values, all opinions, all beliefs go towards one end goal, which is
power accumulation. Everything serves that goal. Everything besides that is all secondary.
That's it. And so, yeah, socialism becomes the only contrary. Yeah, exactly. If a country
can't defend itself. Maybe it didn't deserve to exist. Same energy. Yeah,
right, of course. And I think there's a lot of these examples. It's literally
what I say about hiring illegals. If you need a legal support, you can't be in
business. Yeah, well, the difference is that hiring illegals is illegal. And
this is even AOC talking about this. Here we go. Let's watch it call to
abolish the U. S Senate. New York Democrat repeatedly declined to
reject the plan. And when I pressed her on whether she supports
the institution, Ocasio-Cortez suggested elements of the Senate were racist.
I don't support the filibuster.
I don't support elements of this institution that we know were founded on Jim Crow.
Those comments here in the Senate drawing sharp criticism.

Like, we had a Senate before Jim Crow was even born.

Well, again, this is what these people want to do.
They want to import in enough people from countries, cultures,
and places that are socialist or are non-white.
And they want to create a voting block of non-white,
non-western, non-Christian people that they can use as a majority vote to overrule everybody

you know, this is the clack, these are the people that made the original Doom.
These are the guys that programmed original World of Warcraft. And it's just a bunch of fat

Hollow Knight, you know, you're actually doing something in the game.

that I actually get to the game play almost immediately after I turn it on and I'm going
to say the reason that this game has become as successful as it is is because PocketPair
actually just leaned harder into what players wanted instead of trying to please the rest
of the industry with what they think they would want.
I started a fresh save going into 1.0 and it's kind of taken me a while to be able
to get back to where I was because I spent the last week moving and trying to get
everything set up, but my God, these guys cook.
guys went far above and beyond what I think anybody expected them to do
especially the people who had claimed that this game was a blatant cash grab
and they would be abandoning the game shortly after their launch but how
world 1.0 has a fully fleshed out storyline side quests that are scattered
across the map new biomes and 72 new additional creatures on top of
everything that they already added in their earlier updates it has an absurd
amount of new weapons and armor sets and crafting options base building is
enormous now with the game is ridiculously complex it is is crazy
complicated was materials workstations decorations of your
office is the best bill they added expeditions that allow you to send your
pals out to gather resources they expanded the pal customization with
mutations and awakenings allowing you to make them as powerful as you want
during early access they even added global power box which allows you to
be able to take powers between worlds and also they did this alongside the
the Pal arena which means you can go and fight other players on a server or face NPCs in
three births, three battles, and you get a bunch of rewards.
It's crazy what these guys have done.
But gameplay, notice that's everything that I just mentioned.
Almost everything this developer is focused on revolves around the one thing that players
care about the most and that is the act of playing this game.
They have improved the visuals and touched up some of the creature designs but the
overwhelming majority of the effort that they put into this game went towards giving
players more game to play and more ways to be able to play it. That is really all people
are at.
Is it true that they're coming out with an update on the 30th too? I heard that they
were. I'm not sure if that's true though.

It's a massive reason why Pow World has been successful as it has been to this point.

People just want more gameplay and they just want a fun game to play. Pocket
Pear CEO, Takuro Mazobe, has delivered the exact same basic message across multiple
interviews at this point. He recognizes that creating something completely new is difficult,
so whenever possible, he just studies what already works. He has described Pow World
as a mashup of everything that he finds interesting and everything he has seen succeed before.
The things people have already proven that they want. In an interview with EuroNews,
he had said that he doesn't have some grand creative vision, he just simply wants
to make a game that people like.
Great. You're going to make a game. In my opinion, I think that, again, you can be Kojima and you can have a creative vision of something like Death Stranding, and you can make a game that's truly an experience.
But most people aren't Kojima. And so their idea of, like, their creative vision is like their rejected 11th grade theater play that nobody wanted to do.

Mazzobe seems to lack the creative drive, the artistic ethics and the grand vision they think a developer is supposed to have.

that people already like a all that bundled together into something that
people can enjoy and play for hundreds of hours oh my god how disgusting but you
know what regardless of what they think he was right and so are we games at their
baseline or entertainment they can move you they can inspire you they can
teach you something but the most important thing is that they are
supposed to be fun so what a game comes along that is that pure distilled
world, crystallized fun with no barriers, no censorship and no concern for whether it's
too messy or too deranged, people are going to enjoy it and that's exactly what happened
with Pow World.
The games industry at large has become so self obsessed with the smell of their own
shit.
They have almost completely disregarded the purpose of these games and are chasing their
own version of it.

They want to make movies, they want to be in Hollywood, they want to be famous,
they want to be part of the quote entertainment industry
they want that level of recognition

they just completely forget about the gameplay the fun factor and

of them to use their abilities and then switching them out for something else.
in copying the old pow world ended up making something far better far newer more dynamic
and interactive a creature collector that honestly has more flexibility than any game
has ever had before including any game that's been made by nintendo pow world is honestly
just a fantastic game now simple as that and you know one of the things that i realized
when i was playing through it again is that they even made the act of collecting creatures
better than it's ever been you know in pokemon you collect a creature and it's
It's just filling out your Pokedex just for the completion sake.
In Pow World, catching them gives you more experience.
It expands what you can do at your base.
It lets you strengthen your other pals and it opens up more ways to play.
They didn't just-
There's like meta level gameplay where like you have like so there's like the items
that you can upgrade.
You can use the pals, you can sell them, you can harvest them and like kill them
and like you know get resources out of them.
There's like 50 different ways that you can play this game in order to achieve goals.
To improve the combat or exploration, they made the act of collecting creatures actually
matter.
Now, I think this is where the comparison to PokéZone finally becomes a bit unavoidable
here.
But, you know, Power World did not become successful because it tricked a bunch of people
into buying a knockoff.
It became successful because there was a massive audience that was waiting for
somebody to take this genre somewhere new.
That's what I'd been waiting for.
I know that's what a lot of people have been waiting for people have spent years now asking for Pokemon to make larger worlds deeper multiplayer better performance
more interaction with the creatures in gameplay that extends beyond just simply

I think that game would like if you took the Pokemon universe and the Pokemon fan base and you made a game of
